Transcript

00:00:00.680 Hello, my Rebels. An incredible story today, really one of the top five moments in our 10-year history.
00:00:07.120 I don't know if you remember, but David Menzies was arrested last week for trying to do journalism at a protest in North Toronto.
00:00:14.420 Arrested for causing a disturbance to the peace because he wanted to ask pro-Hamas protesters some questions.
00:00:20.600 Well, we did what we always do at Rebel News.
00:00:22.840 We sent 10 or 12, I forget the exact number of our people, to accompany David and basically say to the cops,
00:00:30.540 if you're going to arrest him, you better arrest all of us.
00:00:33.460 Well, what happened was a spectacular day of freedom of speech and solidarity at Rebel News.
00:00:39.360 We defended David, we defended Rebel, but more than that, we defended freedom of speech and freedom in the press for all Canadians.
00:00:45.760 An incredible show. Thanks for tuning in.

00:02:17.780 All right, here's today's podcast.
00:02:19.020 Tonight, last week, the police arrested David Menzies.
00:02:26.680 So this week, rebels came in force, and the government blinked.
00:02:31.880 It's November 18th, and this is the Ezra Levant Show.
00:02:35.240 You're fighting for freedom!
00:02:38.120 Shame on you, you censorious bug!
00:02:41.320 From what I can tell, there's about 30 police vehicles in this parking lot alone,
00:02:56.100 and no doubt there's more police vehicles and police themselves in staging areas nearby.
00:03:02.540 There may be a riot horse squad, although that's typically only brought out for serious threats like truckers.
00:03:10.340 But what's going on, every week, there's a pro-Israel rally along the street,
00:03:15.940 and you can see there's Canadian flags and Israeli flags and people honking,
00:03:19.740 because this is North Toronto, which is a pretty Jewish area.
00:03:22.940 And every single week, for more than a year, this little rally has happened, uneventful.
00:03:29.400 But in the last few weeks, pro-Hamas street gangs, who have terrorized the Jewish community for months,
00:03:37.660 they've been coming here to taunt the Jews with anti-Semitic epithets,
00:03:42.520 with swastikas, calling for genocide, intifadas, and things like that.
00:03:47.200 And these cops have been errand boys for the Hamas side.
00:03:50.920 They've been just like they did a few months ago when they brought Tim Horton's coffee for the gang.
00:03:56.180 Here they actually defend the Hamas side, and outrageously, last Sunday,
00:04:02.160 they arrested my friend and colleague, Rebel News Mission Specialist David Menzies,
00:04:07.080 which is the answer to the question, why am I wearing this hat?
00:04:10.920 So I'm wearing this hat.
00:04:12.560 That's good on you.
00:04:13.140 Thank you.
00:04:13.720 And you can see we have more than a dozen people on the rebel team,
00:04:19.680 and we've invited others from around town to come here to stand up for David's freedom of the press.
00:04:26.960 Now, there are pro-Israel and pro-Hamas sides to this.
00:04:32.240 Our job as rebels is to tell the other side of the story, to be reporters.
00:04:36.840 So we're not here as part of the protest pro-Hamas or pro-Canada.
00:04:42.880 We're here to do peaceful, legal, professional journalism.
00:04:48.460 And the reason we're here in great numbers, and I'm going to introduce myself to the cops in a minute,
00:04:53.280 is because we are asserting our right under Section 2B of the Chart of Rights and Freedoms
00:04:58.420 to be on the street and do journalism.
00:05:01.620 And just because some Hamas thug says, get out, we ain't getting out.
00:05:06.520 In fact, that's when we rely on the police to protect our freedom.
00:05:10.740 We're not here to pick a fight with the Hamas thugs.
00:05:13.440 That's the job of the cops, and the cops have not been doing a good job on that.
00:05:17.900 We're not even here to cheer for one side or the other,
00:05:21.200 even though obviously you know we're pro-Canada, pro-peace, pro-Israel.
00:05:26.400 We're here to show the police and the city that we're going to do our journalism.
00:05:32.940 And if they're going to arrest David, well, they're bloody well going to have to arrest all of us.
00:05:38.040 We have an outstanding lawyer named Leora Shemesh who has been representing David,
00:05:43.740 and she is on standby.
00:05:45.720 I spoke with her today.
00:05:47.540 And if any cop arrests any one of us,
00:05:50.600 you have her phone number in the Slack message that I sent around.
00:05:54.640 So call Leora Shemesh.
00:05:57.440 In terms of how we engage with the Hamas thugs,
00:06:00.940 the police really should be sweeping any violent people off the streets, but they don't.
00:06:05.540 So my first piece of advice is don't get too close.
00:06:08.760 Stay about this far away, David.
00:06:10.320 So don't get right up in their grill, but stay about this far away.
00:06:14.160 And with your mic, go like that.
00:06:16.040 But keep a couple of feet of distance
00:06:17.620 so there's no excuse for police to come down on you like a ton of bricks.
00:06:21.760 So we are here to do journalism, not to pick a fight.
00:06:26.580 We're here to assert our rights to do journalism.
00:06:29.740 We're not here to be part of the protest.
00:06:32.780 We're here to report on the protest.
00:06:35.880 We may be arrested.
00:06:38.560 David has been arrested five times this year,
00:06:41.560 and I should tell you, every single time the charges have been thrown out or dropped,
00:06:45.760 which shows that it's just bullshit to sweep them off the streets.
00:06:48.940 If that happens again today, I got to tell you, Officer Lamb and Officer Care and the rest of you,
00:06:53.720 we're going to sue every one of you for violating our charter rights.
00:06:57.680 And I am as serious as a heart attack right now.
00:07:00.780 So don't do it.
00:07:02.180 Don't arrest us.
00:07:03.740 Do your job.
00:07:05.020 Stay true to your oath.
00:07:06.840 If there's someone who's threatening us, arrest them.
00:07:10.180 Don't say the path of least resistance is to sweep David Menzies off the street.
00:07:13.940 So that's what we're here to do.
00:07:17.100 Everyone on the rebel side of things, feel free to wear a hat.
00:07:21.860 Officers, we have our press passes.
00:07:24.200 You can also tell us by our trademark Panama hats.
00:07:27.560 Afterwards, if you want one for your collection, I'm happy to give you one.
00:07:31.320 Okay, I'll give you one afterwards.
00:07:35.040 And I promised one to Karima's team because they're just super great.
00:07:39.220 So that's really our mission.
00:07:40.940 I find it unacceptable that foreign nationals are in our neighborhoods stirring up hatred.
00:07:47.840 But I am a free speech believer.
00:07:49.680 But that's my point, is I'm not asking for Hamas to be censored, although if they break the law with death threats, they should be arrested.
00:07:59.560 I'm asking that I have the same rights in my own city as foreign terror supporters.
00:08:05.440 I'm a Torontonian.
00:08:06.720 My family's been in Canada since 1903.
00:08:09.840 I have my civil rights.
00:08:12.040 And just because a bunch of violent thugs threaten to make a scene, the cops should not bend the knee to them.
00:08:18.220 All right, rebels, huddle up.
00:08:19.900 I want to suggest some questions because, and I'm going to say this to the cops, we are going to go on the other side and talk to the Hamas supporters.
00:08:27.920 So you should know that we're going to do that.
00:08:30.240 We're going to stay a few feet back from Hamas.
00:08:34.160 We're not going to get right in their grill.
00:08:35.960 We're not going to touch them.
00:08:37.080 We're not going to threaten them.
00:08:38.260 But you should know that we're going to do that.
00:08:40.800 And if we're threatened, we expect you to keep the peace and stop them from harming us.
00:08:46.020 And we expect you not to touch us, not to arrest us.
00:08:49.960 By the way, don't handcuff us.
00:08:52.280 If you arrest us, we're not going to fight back.
00:08:55.220 You handcuffed him and some sort of Keystone cop clown show.
00:08:59.800 You couldn't get the handcuffs off him for three hours last time.
00:09:02.920 And we're suing you for that because he was under your care and control.
00:09:06.980 And just because you guys don't know how to do handcuffs, he doesn't have to bear that price.
00:09:10.880 So don't handcuff anybody.
00:09:12.580 Don't slam anybody on the trunk of a car.
00:09:14.900 If you're going to arrest us, just touch us on the shoulder.
00:09:17.600 Guys, when you're touched on the shoulder by a police and they say you're under arrest, you are under arrest.
00:09:23.040 You don't have to be hit or thrown around or handcuffed or abused.
00:09:27.820 But if they touch you like this, submit and do what they say.
00:09:31.700 Don't resist.
00:09:32.480 Now, you can still talk, obviously.
00:09:34.140 David, you're sort of a specialist at that.
00:09:35.740 But I'm just telling the cops, don't hurt us because we're going to sue you till the end of time if you do.
00:09:42.460 We're not here to make your job tough.
00:09:44.660 That's being handled by the Hamas thugs on the other side.
00:09:47.760 We're here to do journalism.
00:09:49.540 And I want to share with you guys some of the questions we're going to ask.
00:09:53.060 We're going to ask the people on the other side if they're Canadian citizens because I know a lot of them aren't.
00:09:58.480 We're going to ask them if they think it's respectful to Canada to bring their violence and hatred with them to Canada.
00:10:05.740 We're going to ask them if they think that calling for an intifada is acceptable in Canada.
00:10:15.620 We're going to ask them who's paying for them.
00:10:18.180 As you know, Global News has reported there are 700 agents in Canada paid for by Iran.
00:10:24.740 Are they on the payroll?
00:10:26.340 They do this all the time.
00:10:27.660 Who is paying for them?
00:10:28.780 There's a number of organizers who this is their profession.
00:10:32.920 Who's paying for them?
00:10:33.960 Why is there never a Canadian flag on the side of the haters?
00:10:39.880 Do they love Canada?
00:10:41.240 And why won't they say it?
00:10:43.220 These are some questions you can think of your own.
00:10:45.500 But remember, we're here as journalists.
00:10:47.440 We're not here to fight them.
00:10:49.700 We're not here to protest them.
00:10:51.000 We're here to ask tough questions.
00:10:52.840 I see the cultists there, the individuals that look like Orthodox Jews.
00:10:57.140 Why are they lining up with, it's like chickens in support of Colonel Saunders.
00:11:01.920 That's right, folks.
00:11:02.480 I don't know if you can see across the street there.
00:11:04.520 There is a small group of, they really are a cult that represents less than one-tenth of one percent of Jews.
00:11:12.140 It's called the Naturai Carta.
00:11:13.340 And they're paid by Iran.
00:11:15.960 Iran pays them in New York, in Montreal, in Toronto to come out.
00:11:20.420 And they're the favorites.
00:11:22.320 They're the absolute favorites of the Hamas side.
00:11:25.260 Because they're Jews against Israel.
00:11:27.860 They're sort of wacko, self-loathing Jews.
00:11:29.940 The question for them is who is paying you?
00:11:32.520 And how much were you paid to be here today?
00:11:35.640 So thanks to the rebels from all across Canada who have flown in today and those on Toronto.
00:11:40.700 Thank you.
00:11:41.260 So let's do our work and stay safe, everybody.
00:11:44.500 I just want to tell you one more thing.
00:11:47.400 We have a lawyer on standby, but we also have a team of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 private security here to keep us safe.
00:11:55.680 Now, the problem with private security is they can keep you safe from the ragamuffins on the street.
00:12:00.760 But when police present, private security backs away.
00:12:04.940 Private security never contradicts police.
00:12:07.300 So our private security have introduced themselves to the police.
00:12:11.040 And hopefully things will go smoothly.
00:12:13.100 And we want the private security because, remember, a lot of these pro-Hamas thugs, they'll punch you.
00:12:17.920 They'll slap you if they think they can get away with it.
00:12:20.140 So we will have protection.
00:12:22.120 But like I say, there is no protection you can hire when the police themselves go woke.
00:12:28.680 I'm not going to show you the faces of our security because they want to keep their privacy.
00:12:32.900 But just know we have five security guards with us today.
00:12:35.880 I want to let you know that no other journalist organization in Canada has to bear this burden of lawyers and security just to go in the street.
00:12:44.340 And by the way, this is my neighborhood.
00:12:45.920 I live just about five minutes away from here.
00:12:48.260 You might even recognize this mall.
00:12:49.940 This is where I did streeters against Ya'ara Sachs, the pro-PLO MP that Trudeau has in this district.
00:12:58.400 So this is, I mean, I shop in the metro.
00:13:00.260 I go to Wimpy's Diner, as you can see.
00:13:02.380 I'm there way too often.
00:13:03.740 This is my turf.
00:13:04.960 And there's no way in hell I'm going to concede this land to some colonists for Hamas.
00:13:10.760 It ain't happening.
00:13:11.700 Anyhow, let's do some journalism.
00:13:12.820 Let's gather the whole team.
00:13:16.500 Let's gather the whole team.
00:13:18.520 So these cops here have been given instructions to arrest us when we go over to the other side.
00:13:27.300 It's not a crime to go over to the other side.
00:13:30.000 It's not even in the criminal code.
00:13:31.220 They're going to say it's the breach of peace.
00:13:33.220 Officer Kerr, Officer Collin, this guy's hiding his name.
00:13:35.920 I don't blame him.
00:13:36.600 And these guys have been instructed to arrest us as journalists with our journalist ID, asking questions of the pro-Hamas side.
00:13:48.960 They will arrest us.
00:13:51.120 Now, that's not going to stop me because we're going to turn lemons into lemonade.
00:13:56.560 We're going to turn this into a teachable moment.
00:13:58.680 What's your name, by the way?
00:13:59.540 I just don't see your name on your badge.
00:14:01.060 I put the tag up.
00:14:02.620 Officer Gronin.
00:14:03.440 Okay, we got that.
00:14:04.140 What's your name again?
00:14:06.600 Officer Ibrahim, Gronin, Collin, and Kerr.
00:14:10.340 So these guys have been instructed with the rest of them.
00:14:12.900 You can see they're swarming rebel news.
00:14:15.980 They're not swarming the pro-Hamas thugs.
00:14:19.340 They're deploying the whole bunch of them.
00:14:21.720 Look at that.
00:14:22.240 You got this, guys?
00:14:24.020 All right.
00:14:24.860 Okay.
00:14:26.000 So they've sent over a massive amount of people.
00:14:31.120 They will arrest us.
00:14:32.620 We all have the phone number for Leora Shemesh.
00:14:36.560 In fact, let me just make sure the cops have that.
00:14:38.720 Guys, when you arrest us, our lawyer is Leora Shemesh.
00:14:43.580 And I think you have her phone number.
00:14:45.100 All of our team has the phone number in our Slack.
00:14:48.220 So she will be the lawyer that will engage in this file.
00:14:55.220 And I just want to let you know we are going to sue every single one of you personally for violating our charter rights if you stop us from doing our journalism.
00:15:03.440 We're not going to come closer than two feet.
00:15:05.420 So, guys, the microphone is going to stay this far away.
00:15:08.820 The microphone will pick up their sound.
00:15:11.060 By being this far away, they obviously have no legal case for charging us.
00:15:18.540 I mean, basically, it's a BS charge.
00:15:20.620 They're going to do what they did to David.
00:15:22.100 They're going to rough us up a bit, slam us on the hood of a car, handcuff us.
00:15:26.360 Maybe the handcuffs will work.
00:15:27.580 Maybe not.
00:15:28.700 They'll take us to the police station.
00:15:30.560 They'll humiliate us.
00:15:32.140 They'll run some errands.
00:15:33.460 Maybe they'll pick up some Tim Hortons coffee for the Hamas guys, and then they'll let us go.
00:15:38.440 Who knows?
00:15:38.760 Maybe they won't.
00:15:39.660 Maybe they'll try and make the charges stick.
00:15:41.900 Now, I don't want people to come over if they cannot handle an arrest.
00:15:47.600 I'm going to go over.
00:15:49.420 For those of you who don't want to be part of that, they really do mean to arrest us.
00:15:54.440 This is a bit of a staring contest and irresistible force and an immovable object.
00:16:00.100 They think that freedom of the press and freedom of mobility only applies to the pro-Hamas thugs.
00:16:07.040 We think it applies to Canadian journalists and, indeed, all Canadian citizens.
00:16:11.660 This is my neighborhood, not the neighborhood of these bust-in foreign nationals and agents provocateurs.
00:16:17.800 This is actually my bank that they're standing in front of.
00:16:22.340 This is my mall where I do my shopping.
00:16:25.380 And for these police to arrest me, as I've just been told they're going to do, to arrest me for walking across the street in my own neighborhood is something that I will sue them until the end of time, and we'll have it up before a judge.
00:16:40.500 So I'm going to wait until the walk light turns green, and then we're going to go across.
00:16:46.820 You will be arrested if you come over with me, so don't come over.
00:16:51.880 I'm not compelling you to come over.
00:16:54.460 If you choose to come over with me, obviously we'll defend you and we'll make you a plaintiff in a massive lawsuit against the Toronto police.
00:17:02.160 They're the most woke police in the country.
00:17:05.680 They've had a crime wave, and their advice for the crime wave is, hey, leave your car keys.
00:17:12.500 Leave your car keys near the front door.
00:17:15.720 So they may just arrest me because I'm the biggest mouth.
00:17:19.060 They might arrest David because he's big mouth number two, or they may arrest all of us.
00:17:23.700 I'm going to prepare for that.
00:17:25.880 They're probably going to slam me against the car, so I'm just going to take out my headphones now.
00:17:32.160 Hey, boss.
00:17:33.100 I just want to ask you what the rules of engagement are because I plan to go over to the other side of the street and stay two feet away, like this far away, and have my microphone like this.
00:17:43.700 Now, I understand.
00:17:44.800 I've just been told that you plan to arrest me and everyone on my team if we cross the street.
00:17:48.940 Is that true?
00:17:49.480 I can tell you what's happening.
00:17:50.300 We have a media area set up for all of you.
00:17:51.960 You can set up over there.
00:17:52.740 The media area is called Canada.
00:17:54.280 I understand that, sir, but the last time when you were over here, you were inciting this crowd.
00:17:57.720 It's not true, and I've never been here before.
00:17:59.720 I have not incited anybody.
00:18:01.080 This is what happened to Rebel News last time, okay?
00:18:03.420 So you're blackballing Rebel News.
00:18:04.860 I'm not blackballing Rebel News.
00:18:05.960 What I'm saying is we have an area we have to facilitate it for you.
00:18:09.560 If you can accept that, you can accept it.
00:18:10.920 I don't.
00:18:11.820 Well, that's up to you.
00:18:13.280 That's up to you.
00:18:13.880 So who will you arrest if we go over?
00:18:15.740 I'm not arresting anybody.
00:18:16.940 Okay, good.
00:18:17.740 We'll just see what happens.
00:18:18.800 We'll just see what happens.
00:18:19.420 So I just want to let you know our rules of engagement are twofold, and I want to tell
00:18:22.760 you this because I should disclose to you we're going to sue the Toronto Police for my staff.
00:18:28.680 This is what I've told my staff.
00:18:29.680 Number one, I've said don't come closer than two feet from anybody.
00:18:32.960 Don't put a microphone in someone's face.
00:18:34.720 So this is about as close the way I'm holding the microphone to you.
00:18:37.860 And if they don't want to engage with you, then what?
00:18:40.860 Then they don't have to talk to us, but they don't have the right to silence us.
00:18:43.620 I understand that.
00:18:44.400 They don't have the right to talk to us.
00:18:45.200 Then what do you do?
00:18:46.380 Well, we may ask them follow-up questions, or we may move on, but we're not having our
00:18:50.040 journalism governed by the Toronto Police.
00:18:52.500 Other than we're going to stay two feet away from people, and when you arrest us, do me a
00:18:56.500 favor.
00:18:56.760 Just put your hand on us.
00:18:58.420 Don't slam us on the hood of the car.
00:19:00.120 You hurt him.
00:19:01.300 I've never hurt him.
00:19:02.340 Well, you personally haven't, but your team has.
00:19:04.640 He doesn't need to be handcuffed.
00:19:06.080 He has a hip issue that is exacerbated by the handcuffs.
00:19:09.780 I wasn't there.
00:19:10.280 I can't speak on that.
00:19:10.900 I wasn't there.
00:19:11.360 Okay.
00:19:11.500 Well, I'm telling you, I've told our team that if we are arrested, which will be signified
00:19:15.600 by a hand on our person, do not handcuff us.
00:19:18.880 Do not commit violence against us.
00:19:20.900 Don't slam us on the hood of the car.
00:19:22.540 I've never committed violence against you, and I've never committed violence against you.
00:19:24.800 Okay, good.
00:19:25.240 I'm glad to hear that.
00:19:26.440 All right.
00:19:26.960 Thank you.
00:19:27.400 Okay.
00:19:27.640 So we're going to go over now.
00:19:32.780 Kids, have you killed today?
00:19:36.080 The police say I'm not allowed to do journalism over here.
00:19:44.780 The police say that I have to go to the free speech zone.
00:19:49.220 The police say that I'm not allowed to ask questions after I've asked my first question.
00:19:55.160 But the police are not my editor-in-chief.
00:19:59.120 I'm my own person.
00:20:01.380 I'm a Canadian.
00:20:03.260 And, fellas, I'm going to tell you what I told your boss on the other side.
00:20:06.980 I'm going to stay two feet away from them.
00:20:09.500 I'm not going to put the microphone any closer than this to them, so I'm not going to get anyone's grill.
00:20:13.960 I'm not going to touch anyone, I'm not going to threaten anyone, but I am going to do journalism.
00:20:20.400 And I would ask that if you arrest me, that you not commit violence on me, just simply touch me on the shoulder.
00:20:25.520 No need for handcuffs or to throw me on the trunk of a car like you did to David last time.
00:20:29.880 Any questions for me before I go in?
00:20:32.480 No.
00:20:32.840 No?
00:20:33.020 I can give you a hat later on as a souvenir of this momentous day.
00:20:36.120 There is a rebellion against God.
00:20:40.420 Down, down, the terrorist state of Israel.
00:20:45.300 Down, down, the terrorist state of Israel.
00:20:49.640 A Jew is not a Zionist.
00:20:51.820 A Zionist is not a Jew.
00:20:55.320 Zionism is in no way it's supporting, representing Judaism.
00:21:01.320 Hi, what's your name?
00:21:02.100 Sorry, I'm going to ask you to please move back.
00:21:03.560 We have a lot of equipment here, so please can you just move back?
00:21:05.920 Can you please move back?
00:21:07.280 That's assault.
00:21:08.380 That's assault.
00:21:09.600 That's assault.
00:21:10.340 No, it's not assault.
00:21:11.000 You're in my space, my personal space.
00:21:13.040 No, you came up.
00:21:14.620 Ryan is in...
00:21:15.860 Who are you?
00:21:16.460 What's your name?
00:21:17.040 You don't speak in the Jewish name.
00:21:19.400 Are you a Canadian citizen?
00:21:21.400 Are you a Canadian citizen?
00:21:22.780 Yes, I'm a Canadian citizen.
00:21:23.580 What's your name?
00:21:24.400 What's your name?
00:21:25.180 None of your business.
00:21:25.760 No, that's fine.
00:21:26.280 Get the guy to move him back.
00:21:27.520 Thank you very much.
00:21:28.240 Get the guy to move him back.
00:21:29.460 Thank you very much.
00:21:30.040 My name is in the Jewish name.
00:21:30.840 Let's go to the sidewalk.
00:21:34.080 Go to the sidewalk.
00:21:35.200 I'm going to move back, guys.
00:21:36.440 Go to the sidewalk.
00:21:37.360 There you go.
00:21:39.800 Hold on.
00:21:40.900 We're not going to go around, okay?
00:21:43.560 Why's that?
00:21:45.060 Because we want everybody to stay on that side.
00:21:47.640 I know what you want, and I actually think that's probably wise from your point of view.
00:21:52.180 It's the path of least resistance.
00:21:53.900 But I do have certain rights as a citizen and as a journalist.
00:21:57.520 Just letting you know I'm recording now, too, okay?
00:21:59.420 We're recording you, too, Gavin.
00:22:00.780 No, that's fine.
00:22:01.220 You can stay here.
00:22:01.840 Thanks very much.
00:22:02.580 So we're good with it here.
00:22:03.680 I know that.
00:22:04.380 Maybe if you want to interview them, just be sensible about it.
00:22:07.780 And what do you mean by sensible?
00:22:10.400 So to sort of be more detailed, I'm saying being sensible.
00:22:14.280 If you can see that they're getting heated, maybe that's a good time to slow down and then re-approach your questions later.
00:22:19.620 Does that make sense?
00:22:20.440 It makes sense in terms of what's a reasonable approach, but it's not the legal approach.
00:22:26.020 I have the right to ask them whatever question.
00:22:28.760 Of course, but if they're getting upset, then as a human being, it's kind of like, maybe I should back up.
00:22:33.660 Nobody can try again later.
00:22:34.760 But I don't want to give...
00:22:35.940 These are terrorist supporters.
00:22:37.480 I'm obviously not going to give them a veto over what I ask or say.
00:22:41.860 Well, just like you're giving me a chance to speak.
00:22:43.680 But you're a regular guy.
00:22:45.260 You're a Canadian.
00:22:45.980 You're a cop.
00:22:46.520 You're a good guy.
00:22:47.500 These are foreign thugs.
00:22:49.060 They're Hamas supporters.
00:22:50.120 They're terrorist supporters.
00:22:50.800 If I was seeing you be upset, I would stop my questioning, right?
00:22:53.560 But you're not a journalist, though.
00:22:55.140 And actually, I'm guessing sometimes even a cop asks questions that are uncomfortable.
00:22:59.820 Anyways, I hear you.
00:23:07.500 Who pays for you?
00:23:09.100 Who paid you to be here?
00:23:11.240 Who paid for you to be here?
00:23:13.680 Who paid for you to be here?
00:23:23.640 Who paid for you to be here?
00:23:28.820 Why are you pushing me away?
00:23:32.240 Who's unsafe?
00:23:33.420 Who's unsafe?
00:23:37.420 These are cult members.
00:23:38.840 I'm just going to move you over here.
00:23:40.240 These are anti-Semitic cult members.
00:23:45.140 There's a very small group of Jews called the Naturai Carta.
00:23:49.700 And it's like a cult.
00:23:51.640 Just like there's some cult members like the Westboro Baptist Church or some other extremist
00:23:58.500 outcroppings of baptism that aren't real Christianity.
00:24:02.800 These people are fake Jews.
00:24:05.640 They're a cult.
00:24:06.780 And they're a favorite of Iran.
00:24:10.020 Iran pays for them to come to these protests, to muddy the waters, to make it seem like real
00:24:15.520 Jews don't support Israel.
00:24:17.620 Of course, that's as absurd as saying real French people don't support France or real Spanish
00:24:22.940 people don't support Spain.
00:24:24.300 It's madness and it's the view of these anti-Semitic Jews.
00:24:28.400 It sounds weird to see an anti-Semitic Jew.
00:24:31.960 There are such a thing.
00:24:33.660 Just like there are self-hating black people, self-hating gay people.
00:24:38.080 These anti-Semitic Jews are a 0.1% of the Jewish community.
00:24:43.240 But they are in an absolute favorite of these Hamas rallies because they are a talking point
00:24:50.600 for the Iran-funded Hamas side who says, look, even the Jews don't like Israel.
00:24:56.600 No, they're fakes and they're paid.
00:24:58.720 And they wouldn't answer our questions about who's paying them.
00:25:04.340 Hey, I've got a question for you.
00:25:06.000 Have you ever seen this many cops?
00:25:08.460 Have you ever seen this many cops outside saying, one of the Jewish schools that has
00:25:13.880 been arsoned or torched, one of the Jewish synagogues that's been Molotov cocktailed?
00:25:18.860 Or hell, just even if there's a group.
00:25:23.100 Well, you know what?
00:25:24.340 For 50 years, I backed the blue.
00:25:26.720 It's getting tougher every year, I got to say.
00:25:29.060 Are you a police informant?
00:25:30.960 Do you work with the police?
00:25:33.360 No comment.
00:25:34.720 I think.
00:25:35.160 I'll answer that.
00:25:35.860 No, I'm not.
00:25:36.780 Well, why did you answer no comment?
00:25:38.180 Because I don't want to talk to you.
00:25:40.340 Well, why are you here then?
00:25:42.080 We're here for the Palestinians.
00:25:43.660 We're here.
00:25:44.140 Why are you wearing a skirt?
00:25:45.540 This is called kundura.
00:25:46.640 This is the air.
00:25:47.720 See.
00:25:48.020 But that's not the Canadian way.
00:25:49.340 I don't think you're Canadian.
00:25:50.960 You're in Canada now.
00:25:52.140 Your hat's not Canadian.
00:25:53.040 Sure it is.
00:25:53.580 No, it's not.
00:25:54.000 What makes the Canadian?
00:25:55.140 What makes your hat Canadian?
00:25:56.460 I believe in Canadian values.
00:25:58.500 Did you wear a poppy on Remembrance Day?
00:26:00.660 I answered your question.
00:26:01.380 Did you wear a poppy on Remembrance Day?
00:26:03.260 Yes, I did.
00:26:04.040 Was it the Hamas poppy or the Canadian poppy?
00:26:07.020 Sorry, there's only one poppy.
00:26:08.320 Can you explain to me how you're...
00:26:09.460 Do you love Canada?
00:26:10.500 Can you explain to me how you're...
00:26:11.460 Do you love Canada?
00:26:12.440 Answer my question.
00:26:13.360 Let's go.
00:26:13.820 Let's go.
00:26:14.100 He's fine and I'm fine.
00:26:15.740 That's it.
00:26:16.200 He's fine and I'm fine.
00:26:17.300 Why are you ending it?
00:26:18.500 It's not the two feet you said as you push the camera, the microphone right in his mouth.
00:26:21.660 He's not objecting.
00:26:22.860 He's not objecting to it.
00:26:24.420 No, we're bantering back and forth.
00:26:26.180 Why are you editing me?
00:26:28.880 Look at him.
00:26:29.440 He's laughing.
00:26:30.520 That's harassing.
00:26:31.240 Are you interrupting interviews?
00:26:33.100 Why are you interrupting interviews?
00:26:34.560 All right.
00:26:35.120 He was fine with it.
00:26:36.000 He's trying to interrupt interviews.
00:26:37.300 And this cop just pushed me.
00:26:39.020 He pushed me.
00:26:41.640 He assaulted me.
00:26:42.460 Put your hand down.
00:26:43.340 Get out of here.
00:26:44.460 Don't assault me.
00:26:46.540 I need to push him out.
00:26:48.840 Why are you stopping interviews?
00:26:51.520 Menzies, you're arrested, bro.
00:26:52.800 You should not be here.
00:26:54.260 You paid TPS to be here.
00:26:57.180 Your informants are right there.
00:26:58.380 He got arrested and he has no restrictions to be here.
00:27:01.980 He should have conditions that he can't be a bathroom chef.
00:27:03.780 And when you get arrested in a place, you have conditions.
00:27:06.760 He's still here.
00:27:07.780 Means that he paid off TPS.
00:27:09.940 He's an informant.
00:27:10.900 You sound like a crazy man.
00:27:12.620 Because those conditions were never read to me, Mr. Reyes.
00:27:16.480 Why are you still here?
00:27:18.000 Why are you still here?
00:27:20.340 What were you doing at the police station the other day?
00:27:23.160 The police don't know.
00:27:26.840 Where are you from originally?
00:27:31.160 Why won't you say?
00:27:32.120 I'll tell you where I'm from.
00:27:32.980 I'm from Canada.
00:27:33.980 No, Canada.
00:27:34.640 You're from Europe, brother.
00:27:35.720 No, I was born and raised here.
00:27:36.880 Where are you born and raised?
00:27:38.780 I was right here.
00:27:40.120 Canada?
00:27:40.520 I don't believe that.
00:27:41.680 What you want to believe?
00:27:43.120 It doesn't matter.
00:27:43.880 I mean, you speak with a thick accent.
00:27:45.240 Listen, a lot of people come here to be Canadians.
00:27:47.320 You come here to undermine Canada.
00:27:49.220 I mean, what do you think ordinary Canadians...
00:27:51.480 Maybe I'll contribute more to Canada than you ever have in your life.
00:27:53.900 I don't believe that.
00:27:54.580 What have you done for Canada besides spread anti-Semitic hate?
00:27:58.460 There's no anti-Semitic hate here.
00:27:59.440 The anti-Semitic hate is right on that side.
00:28:01.140 You're a Jew hater.
00:28:02.140 Why don't you embrace it?
00:28:03.060 We're a Jew hater.
00:28:03.360 Do you support Hamas?
00:28:04.680 We live with Jews for eternity of creation.
00:28:08.460 Jews, Muslims, and Christians have lived together in peace and harmony.
00:28:11.260 Zionists have come in and caused the divide.
00:28:13.420 There's no hate.
00:28:14.020 We have Jews right there.
00:28:14.800 You see the Hasidic Jews over there?
00:28:16.040 Those Jewish rabbis?
00:28:16.920 They're on our side.
00:28:17.680 Why?
00:28:17.800 That's because you pay them.
00:28:18.880 Those are natural eye cards.
00:28:20.240 They're paid to be here.
00:28:21.160 Nope, they're not paid to be here.
00:28:22.100 Not a single cent.
00:28:23.100 Will you renounce Hamas?
00:28:25.120 Will you renounce Hamas?
00:28:28.560 What does your hat say?
00:28:30.440 What does your hat say?
00:28:31.480 Reporting the state of Israel is a rebellion against God.
00:28:38.020 I'm not in your personal space.
00:28:39.820 No, I'm not.
00:28:40.640 Reporting the state of Israel is a rebellion against God.
00:28:45.840 Are you ashamed?
00:28:46.620 Is that why you won't say your name?
00:28:48.380 Do you order police around?
00:28:52.020 Who's streets?
00:29:17.880 Our streets.
00:29:18.660 Is that what the anti-fucket says?
00:29:21.580 Whose streets?
00:29:22.240 Our streets.
00:29:23.600 Whose streets?
00:29:24.640 Our streets.
00:29:28.580 Did you have any luck getting any answers?
00:29:33.760 No, not at all.
00:29:34.940 And again, the triple standard, Ezra.
00:29:38.360 You know, we have seen the last couple of weeks,
00:29:41.100 the pro-Hamas people upping the game,
00:29:43.560 displaying swastikas.
00:29:44.920 And when they approach those people,
00:29:47.080 it's kind of like,
00:29:48.080 will you pretty please with sugar on top,
00:29:50.180 put that sign down,
00:29:51.300 as opposed to what happened to me last Sunday,
00:29:53.720 without a single warning,
00:29:55.120 arrested brutally,
00:29:56.560 and taken to 32 division.
00:29:59.140 We see chants for genocide,
00:30:00.960 contrary to Section 319.
00:30:03.600 I appreciate that,
00:30:04.820 but I've got one.
00:30:06.580 You know what?
00:30:07.260 I think you'd probably poison me.
00:30:09.340 No, we would never do that.
00:30:11.000 Yeah, you would blow me up with a rocket.
00:30:14.520 Don't answer your beeper, brother.
00:30:16.380 It's a trap.
00:30:18.220 Don't answer your beeper.
00:30:19.980 It's a trap.
00:30:20.820 Don't answer your beeper.
00:30:23.040 That's a death threat, eh?
00:30:24.340 No, I'm saying don't.
00:30:25.300 I'm giving you a warning.
00:30:26.240 Don't answer your beeper.
00:30:27.260 It's a trap.
00:30:27.740 I don't have a beeper.
00:30:28.620 Can I give you a hug?
00:30:29.400 No, I don't want to be touched by you.
00:30:30.680 That's an assault.
00:30:31.400 So that's called racism.
00:30:32.920 No, it's just I don't want someone
00:30:35.700 who supports Hamas to touch me
00:30:37.220 in an assault.
00:30:38.500 Anyhow, if...
00:30:39.340 I think what we just saw there, Ezra,
00:30:41.160 if there's one thing
00:30:42.280 the Palestinians know how to do
00:30:44.320 better than anyone,
00:30:45.840 it's the fine art of public relations.
00:30:48.160 Look how they've swayed world opinion.
00:30:50.080 Look how they've swayed mainstream media.
00:30:52.360 Look how they've swayed academia.
00:30:54.360 And part of it, Ezra,
00:30:55.700 you know, here's some inside baseball.
00:30:57.380 When journalists go over,
00:30:58.780 you know, to Israel, Gaza,
00:31:00.460 what have you,
00:31:01.020 when they go into the Palestinian territory,
00:31:04.000 they need what's known as a fixer.
00:31:06.520 It's basically a cab driver
00:31:07.960 that drives them around
00:31:09.000 to families for interviews.
00:31:10.680 And while the journalists are there,
00:31:13.020 they are treated like royalty.
00:31:15.400 They're wined and dined,
00:31:17.100 you name it.
00:31:18.460 And I think what happens, Ezra,
00:31:19.940 it's kind of like Stockholm syndrome, right?
00:31:22.780 You start identifying with the bad guys.
00:31:25.880 So again, the fine art of public relations,
00:31:27.740 as you saw,
00:31:28.380 this guy was not being abusive to you.
00:31:30.100 He offered us water.
00:31:31.760 He wanted to hug you.
00:31:33.440 That was his second attempt,
00:31:34.640 or third attempt.
00:31:35.560 His first few were not as friendly.
00:31:37.580 Yeah, so again,
00:31:38.780 we're seeing the,
00:31:40.520 you know,
00:31:41.440 the unspoken agenda
00:31:42.740 of the fine art of public relations.
00:31:45.080 And certainly,
00:31:45.760 it's worked on the Toronto Police Service.
00:31:47.900 They're working as,
00:31:49.020 they're Praetorian Guard this morning.
00:31:50.640 Well, I mean,
00:31:52.460 I think so far,
00:31:53.940 my report would be,
00:31:55.300 we asserted our rights
00:31:57.800 to be on the street.
00:31:58.900 Yes.
00:31:59.240 The police tried to stop us.
00:32:00.940 They said they would arrest us.
00:32:02.620 They said they would do this and that.
00:32:04.100 But in the end,
00:32:04.900 I think they blinked.
00:32:07.100 And I think it's because
00:32:08.080 we came out in force.
00:32:08.900 And David,
00:32:09.700 I want to let you know
00:32:11.200 that the reason so many rebels
00:32:13.760 came from Vancouver
00:32:15.820 and Calgary
00:32:17.200 and Florida
00:32:18.440 and Montreal
00:32:19.300 and of course Toronto
00:32:20.280 is because
00:32:21.400 we're like the three musketeers,
00:32:23.420 all for one
00:32:24.240 and one for all.
00:32:25.240 And when we saw you being arrested
00:32:26.840 right here last week,
00:32:28.740 we decided we were going to come
00:32:30.400 and show solidarity.
00:32:31.260 And the police
00:32:32.240 have realized
00:32:34.020 that it's easy
00:32:34.740 to tackle David Menzies,
00:32:36.220 but David Menzies
00:32:37.320 and a dozen of his friends,
00:32:38.860 that's a little bit,
00:32:39.560 a bigger problem
00:32:40.380 and I'm delighted
00:32:41.100 that we seem to have prevailed.
00:32:43.060 Ezra,
00:32:43.500 this is the most humbling
00:32:44.560 moment of my life.
00:32:45.980 I'm looking at all
00:32:46.640 the out-of-towners,
00:32:47.580 Avery,
00:32:48.440 Alexa,
00:32:49.520 Sid,
00:32:50.440 we got
00:32:50.980 Tamara,
00:32:51.720 yeah,
00:32:51.900 Maria,
00:32:52.640 Yankee,
00:32:53.200 all the way from Florida,
00:32:55.220 Mariah from Alberta.
00:32:59.100 My heart is breaking
00:33:00.440 at the solidarity
00:33:01.780 that is being shown
00:33:02.980 for me.
00:33:05.140 I couldn't ask
00:33:05.700 for a better employer.
00:33:06.740 I couldn't ask
00:33:07.480 for better staffers.
00:33:09.200 I love you all
00:33:10.340 except one.
00:33:13.180 I don't dare ask
00:33:14.460 who that is.
00:33:15.720 Hey, look,
00:33:16.180 there's our truck.
00:33:16.940 There's our billboard truck.
00:33:18.080 David Menzies.
00:33:19.520 You know what?
00:33:20.300 I love seeing that truck.
00:33:21.520 It's circling the block.
00:33:23.360 There it is.
00:33:24.260 Look at how beautiful,
00:33:25.000 how brilliant that is.
00:33:26.160 That's so bright.
00:33:27.700 You know what?
00:33:28.060 I'm on Broadway.
00:33:28.740 Look at that.
00:33:31.000 Toronto police arrest
00:33:32.060 the rioters,
00:33:32.780 not the journalists.
00:33:34.160 That's our message.
00:33:35.840 On the other side there,
00:33:36.960 they're not letting people
00:33:37.740 come across the street
00:33:38.960 to join
00:33:40.200 or to have any solidarity.
00:33:41.780 I'm not surprised.
00:33:43.340 The other,
00:33:43.900 I mean,
00:33:44.280 we came with a serious mission
00:33:46.540 and I think they blinked.
00:33:49.120 But they're easy
00:33:50.040 to pick off
00:33:50.700 individual people
00:33:51.480 one at a time.
00:33:52.680 Hey, Drea,
00:33:53.080 I don't want to interrupt you,
00:33:54.160 but can I chat with you
00:33:54.920 a little bit?
00:33:55.280 I was going to say,
00:33:56.580 you know,
00:33:57.900 I don't want to stop you,
00:33:59.020 but you've come the furthest.
00:34:00.160 You came in all the way
00:34:00.920 from Vancouver
00:34:04.100 to be here today.
00:34:06.420 What's your thoughts
00:34:07.480 so far?
00:34:08.540 Well, you know,
00:34:09.140 David has been arrested
00:34:10.480 five times this year.
00:34:13.160 That should make
00:34:13.900 all Canadians
00:34:15.080 upset about this
00:34:16.520 and willing to stand
00:34:17.500 with this issue.
00:34:18.180 So obviously,
00:34:19.060 I'm going to be here
00:34:19.960 to stand with David
00:34:20.880 and prove the point
00:34:21.960 that in a country
00:34:23.320 like Canada,
00:34:24.100 we should be free
00:34:24.780 to practice journalism.
00:34:26.500 We should be free
00:34:27.280 to ask questions
00:34:28.640 that Canadians want to hear.
00:34:30.280 And we should be free
00:34:31.140 to bring Canada
00:34:32.300 the other side
00:34:33.200 of the story.
00:34:34.120 That's why we're here.
00:34:35.040 That's why we crossed
00:34:35.940 the street
00:34:36.400 despite the police
00:34:37.620 cautioning us not to.
00:34:39.580 And that's why
00:34:40.340 you can always count
00:34:41.340 on Rebel News
00:34:42.060 to get this story for you.
00:34:44.280 The police set up
00:34:45.300 a free speech zone
00:34:46.380 for us.
00:34:47.200 And I said,
00:34:47.860 sorry,
00:34:48.540 Canada is my
00:34:49.440 free speech zone.
00:34:50.760 And I think
00:34:51.280 they were trying
00:34:51.800 to scare us
00:34:52.620 or make us blink,
00:34:53.760 but at the end
00:34:54.200 of the day,
00:34:54.580 we prevailed.
00:34:55.640 Well,
00:34:55.880 we're following the law
00:34:56.920 and that's the thing.
00:34:57.980 And so is David Menzies
00:34:59.380 every time
00:35:00.060 that they arrest them.
00:35:01.180 So now we're here
00:35:01.920 in full force
00:35:02.640 to prove it.
00:35:03.200 And where are all
00:35:04.020 of the civil liberties?
00:35:05.780 Why are they
00:35:06.380 not saying something?
00:35:07.340 Where's all the politicians
00:35:08.400 that when the CBC journalist
00:35:10.680 complains about
00:35:11.460 a mean tweet,
00:35:12.280 they go on their Twitter
00:35:13.600 and say,
00:35:14.120 how dare you?
00:35:14.920 Where are they?
00:35:15.760 How dare they?
00:35:17.120 I want to say,
00:35:18.060 Drea,
00:35:18.300 in closing,
00:35:19.240 thank you for making
00:35:19.960 the long journey
00:35:20.660 to support David.
00:35:21.520 But I also want to say
00:35:22.980 you're the only person
00:35:24.940 for whom the Panama hat
00:35:26.600 looks great on.
00:35:27.700 It actually looks
00:35:28.440 great on you.
00:35:29.580 Well,
00:35:29.840 full story,
00:35:30.440 I have this already.
00:35:31.540 I've been secretly
00:35:32.180 dressing up as David Menzies
00:35:33.740 for quite some time,
00:35:34.820 so it all worked out.
00:35:35.860 It looks wonderful.
00:35:36.760 Thank you again
00:35:37.340 for making such a,
00:35:38.400 you flew all the way overnight.
00:35:39.920 I've taken that flight.
00:35:40.940 It's rough.
00:35:41.640 The night flight,
00:35:42.480 you got here bright and early.
00:35:43.860 Thank you for being here
00:35:44.840 in solidarity with David.
00:35:45.920 Wouldn't miss it
00:35:46.520 for the world.
00:35:47.260 Thank you.
00:35:48.200 You're getting in my face
00:36:00.100 now, sir.
00:36:00.620 Are you going to arrest me?
00:36:02.220 If I have to.
00:36:03.360 So,
00:36:03.920 she was assaulted,
00:36:04.960 you're not going to arrest
00:36:05.660 the guy who assaulted her,
00:36:06.680 but you're going to arrest me
00:36:07.600 for asking you questions
00:36:08.660 about an assault?
00:36:09.820 I think it could be interpreted
00:36:12.020 both ways.
00:36:12.860 Shut up!
00:36:13.500 She's in his face!
00:36:14.260 She's trying to move him!
00:36:14.980 No!
00:36:15.240 What a coward you are,
00:36:20.320 sir.
00:36:20.500 I think you know that.
00:36:21.480 That's your opinion.
00:36:22.580 What's that?
00:36:25.140 That's what I said, huh?
00:36:34.560 Hey, come on.
00:36:48.400 Why, why, why you wolf?
00:36:50.500 Are you?
00:36:52.500 Yes!
00:36:54.500 Whoa!
00:36:56.500 Chill!
00:36:58.500 Go!
00:37:00.500 Shut up!
00:37:02.500 No!
00:37:04.500 No, I did nothing!
00:37:06.500 Yes, you did!
00:37:08.500 No, I did nothing!
00:37:10.500 He pushed me!
00:37:12.500 He pushed me!
00:37:14.500 Have it on camera!
00:37:16.500 He pushed me!
00:37:18.500 He's gonna be having no camera!
00:37:20.500 This guy...
00:37:22.500 Alexa, are you okay?
00:37:24.500 He's next.
00:37:26.500 Officers, you witnessed my colleague getting physically assaulted.
00:37:30.500 She's female.
00:37:32.500 The perpetrator's male.
00:37:34.500 Why are there no charges?
00:37:40.500 So in the streets of our dominion, if you're chanting genocide,
00:37:42.500 if you're part of the pro Hamas crowd,
00:37:44.500 a female citizen can be arrested,
00:37:48.500 can be assaulted and you won't charge them?
00:37:52.500 I think, I think what we saw
00:37:54.500 is that your camera lady
00:37:56.500 had the camera right in his face.
00:37:58.500 He has, he has his personal space too.
00:38:00.500 We gotta respect that.
00:38:02.500 I have a space between me and him, okay?
00:38:04.500 Because if I'm too close, I cannot cap.
00:38:06.500 Well then he needs his space as well.
00:38:08.500 I think he needs like a serious therapy of violence.
00:38:14.500 Okay, that's your opinion.
00:38:16.500 Officer, we backed the blue, but we're just asking you to uphold your oath.
00:38:20.500 I just said what I had to.
00:38:22.500 Got nothing more to say.
00:38:24.500 So if a camera gets too close,
00:38:26.500 it is acceptable for a man to hit a woman in Toronto?
00:38:28.500 I don't believe he hit her.
00:38:30.500 He just pushed her away.
00:38:32.500 He hit me.
00:38:33.500 Do you have it on tape?
00:38:34.500 I did like it.
00:38:36.500 Like some people, they stand right away.
00:38:40.500 I don't know whether she has it taped or not.
00:38:42.500 Well, she says she did.
00:38:43.500 Will you look at it?
00:38:44.500 Will you look at it?
00:38:45.500 No, I don't need to see anything now.
00:38:47.500 I've got other more pressing jobs to do.
00:38:49.500 Really more pressing?
00:38:50.500 Yes.
00:38:51.500 It's the first assault of the day.
00:38:52.500 I know arresting David may sound more pressing,
00:38:54.500 but it's not actually.
00:38:58.500 So she's got, she's got the tape.
00:39:00.500 Will you look at it?
00:39:02.500 No.
00:39:03.500 So she was just assaulted.
00:39:05.500 You've got 50 cops here stopping our journalism.
00:39:10.500 So why won't you look at it?
00:39:12.500 I don't want to.
00:39:13.500 Like I said, I've got other priorities to attend to.
00:39:16.500 What are you doing?
00:39:17.500 You're standing around.
00:39:18.500 What's your, what's a higher priority?
00:39:20.500 Okay.
00:39:21.500 I said what I had to say.
00:39:22.500 You got my comment.
00:39:23.500 I'll move on.
00:39:24.500 Well, can we,
00:39:25.500 who do we talk to if we don't want like assaults on the city street?
00:39:28.500 No, seriously.
00:39:29.500 Who do we talk to?
00:39:30.500 Why are you running away?
00:39:32.500 Why are you running away?
00:39:33.500 You're getting in my face now, sir.
00:39:35.500 Are you going to arrest me?
00:39:37.500 If I have to.
00:39:38.500 So she was assaulted.
00:39:39.500 You're not going to arrest the guy who assaulted her.
00:39:41.500 Are you going to arrest me for asking you questions about an assault?
00:39:45.500 I think it could be interpreted both ways.
00:39:48.500 You just saw an assault and you're saying you're going to arrest me instead of the man who assaulted her.
00:39:53.500 We interpreted that she assaulted him by getting in his personal space.
00:39:56.500 Well, why don't you look at the video then?
00:39:58.500 Okay.
00:39:59.500 Why don't you look at the video?
00:40:00.500 We will in good time.
00:40:01.500 Right now.
00:40:02.500 You're lying again.
00:40:03.500 We've got other things to do.
00:40:04.500 Like what?
00:40:05.500 I said what I had to say.
00:40:08.500 That's the end of it.
00:40:09.500 What a coward you are, sir.
00:40:10.500 I think you know that.
00:40:11.500 That's our opinion.
00:40:12.500 You saw a woman get assaulted.
00:40:14.500 You refused to look at the evidence.
00:40:16.500 You've heard what he said to you.
00:40:17.500 I know.
00:40:18.500 And he's a coward, isn't he?
00:40:19.500 You heard it the first time.
00:40:20.500 I sure did.
00:40:21.500 You heard the second time.
00:40:22.500 And I sure did.
00:40:23.500 Okay.
00:40:24.500 So if she wants to deal with this, it's not the time and place right now.
00:40:26.500 Well, what is the time and place?
00:40:27.500 When we've sorted everything out.
00:40:28.500 What are you sorting out?
00:40:29.500 She's not even looking at it.
00:40:30.500 If you want to do a report, I'll be happy to take one from you.
00:40:33.500 Okay.
00:40:34.500 Right now, we're not going on.
00:40:35.500 Officer Jackson, what are you doing instead?
00:40:36.500 She was assaulted.
00:40:37.500 Okay.
00:40:38.500 Let's go.
00:40:39.500 Okay.
00:40:40.500 And that's fine.
00:40:41.500 If she was assaulted, listen, we're going to look at the video tape.
00:40:42.500 We're going to investigate it.
00:40:43.500 If you want to take a report, we'll take a report for it.
00:40:45.500 But I didn't see it.
00:40:46.500 I can't speak to it.
00:40:47.500 Well, he saw it.
00:40:48.500 We have video on it.
00:40:49.500 And we'll investigate it.
00:40:50.500 And we'll make him arrest if they're unarrested.
00:40:52.500 All right.
00:40:53.500 I'm going to hold you to that.
00:40:54.500 Of course.
00:40:55.500 Of course.
00:40:56.500 I'm right here.
00:40:57.500 And I recommend he's not on the file.
00:40:58.500 He doesn't give a .
00:40:59.500 Okay.
00:41:00.500 Okay.
00:41:01.500 There's no need to spit the venom.
00:41:02.500 Like I said, if she was assaulted, then all the cameras are on.
00:41:04.500 We will see that assault.
00:41:05.500 An investigation will be commenced on it.
00:41:06.500 And an arrest will be made.
00:41:07.500 And that's it.
00:41:08.500 Thank you.
00:41:09.500 And we're going to follow up on that.
00:41:10.500 No problem.
00:41:11.500 And you know what?
00:41:12.500 You go do something more important.
00:41:14.500 Imagine that.
00:41:20.500 I have more important things to do.
