00:00:00.000 Tonight, a man residing at a woman's shelter in Windsor was recently acquitted of a sexual assault charge.
00:00:09.420 But the question arises, why wasn't the most important element of this story ever addressed in the trial?
00:00:18.640 It's Tuesday, August 27th, 2024. I'm David Menzies, and this is The Ezra Levent Show.
00:00:25.720 You're ready for freedom! Shame on you, you censorious boobug!
00:00:41.240 Tonight's edition of The Ezra Levent Show is brought to you by the letter C.
00:00:45.840 C is for Cody, and C is for Cat, and C is for Creepy. C is also for Court.
00:00:52.000 And when it comes to a verdict rendered in a recent Windsor sexual assault case, C is for Crappy.
00:01:00.180 Well, at least in my humble opinion, I'll get to the nitty-gritty a little later.
00:01:04.880 As for that aforementioned Cody, I speak of a downright disturbing individual whose birth name is Cody Dentremont.
00:01:13.680 Well, he sometimes goes by that moniker, and sometimes he uses the alias of Desiree Anderson.
00:01:20.960 He uses the Desiree alias when Cody is identifying as a she rather than a he.
00:01:29.640 Lovely.
00:01:30.700 By the way, folks, check out this mugshot of Cody when he was passing himself off as Desiree.
00:01:39.680 Does the person you're now looking at resemble anything even remotely female?
00:01:45.360 I guess these days femininity is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm old school, you see.
00:01:53.460 When I look upon a person with facial hair and an Adam's apple, well, in the words of Austin Powers...
00:02:01.040 I've got an idea.
00:02:03.760 Austin, why on earth did you hit that woman?
00:02:07.040 Right, let me show you, baby.
00:02:08.480 That ain't no woman.
00:02:11.060 It's a man-man.
00:02:15.220 Oh, and by the way, that photo of Cody is some 16 months old.
00:02:20.440 It really needs to be updated.
00:02:22.800 That's because Desiree is now sporting a goatee.
00:02:28.040 Oh, Juliet, Juliet, wherefore art thou?
00:02:31.380 And I know what you're thinking, folks.
00:02:34.780 Wasn't the Bearded Lady part of a traveling circus freak show back when Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey were still in business?
00:02:44.180 Now, no wonder the circus conglomerate went out of business in 2016.
00:02:48.500 I mean, how do you sell tickets for the beleaguered bearded lady and lobster boy when the freak meter is off the charts these days thanks to the rank-and-file participants marching in trans pride parades?
00:03:04.660 Indeed, planet Earth is now a 24-7 circus, me thinks.
00:03:10.940 And, of course, since we reside in such baffling times, I must ask a fundamental question.
00:03:19.200 What is a lady?
00:03:20.120 What is a woman?
00:03:21.580 Because when it comes to womanhood, the uber-progressive left these past few years has had a very, very difficult time indeed defining the word woman.
00:03:32.760 Oh, and I'm not talking about some garden-variety imbecile, mind you.
00:03:36.460 I'm talking about the likes of, well, how about the very learned U.S. Supreme Court Judge Kacchani Jackson-Brown?
00:03:47.140 Remember this surreal Q&A session in 2022 when Brown was being queried by Senator Marsha Blackburn?
00:03:56.000 Can you provide a definition for the word woman?
00:04:01.140 Can I provide a definition?
00:04:03.280 No.
00:04:03.840 Yeah.
00:04:04.860 I can't.
00:04:06.460 You can't?
00:04:09.380 Not in this context.
00:04:11.560 I'm not a biologist.
00:04:12.360 So you believe the meaning of the word woman is so unclear and controversial that you can't give me a definition?
00:04:19.120 Senator, in my work as a judge, what I do is I address disputes.
00:04:26.220 If there's a dispute about a definition, people make arguments, and I look at the law, and I decide.
00:04:33.060 The fact that you can't give me a straight answer about something as fundamental as what a woman is underscores the dangers of the kind of progressive education that we are hearing about.
00:04:50.500 You know, the other day, somebody asked me, what's the sum of one plus one, and I said, oh, I'm sorry, I'm not a mathematician.
00:04:59.800 Unbelievable.
00:05:00.440 Oh, by the way, it's not just the U.S. Supreme Court that has a monopoly on gender identity lunacy.
00:05:09.500 Consider Canadian Supreme Court Justice Sheila L. Martin.
00:05:13.040 Justice Martin made headlines for all the wrong reasons earlier this year when she argued that a more appropriate term for the female of the species is, quote,
00:05:31.700 person with a vagina, end quote, person with a vagina, how would you like to have your fate decided by this kook?
00:05:42.800 Terrifying.
00:05:43.440 Oh, and not to be a nitpicker here, but in light of gender benders such as Cody Dentremont slash Desiree Anderson,
00:05:52.620 what descriptor would Justice Martin use for a trans woman, a.k.a. a man pretending to be a woman?
00:06:02.620 Let me guess, person with a mangina?
00:06:06.500 Geez, pass me a tequila, Sheila.
00:06:09.480 Actually, make it a double.
00:06:11.040 By the way, does anyone else think that it is somewhat perversely amusing that the term woman is suddenly back in fashion big time?
00:06:22.120 It happened on the precise date of July 21st of this year.
00:06:26.580 That's when sleepy Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, making way for the coronation of Kamala Harris.
00:06:33.980 Wow!
00:06:38.000 Poor hubby.
00:06:39.300 Poor hubby.
00:06:39.920 You know, why do I get a profound sense of deja vu whenever the vice president is in full giggling mode?
00:06:53.640 You know, maybe it has something to do with these characters.
00:06:57.220 Make those messages clear.
00:06:59.060 Oh, make those messages clear.
00:07:01.920 Anyway, just look at the fawning press cackling Kamala is getting these days.
00:07:10.440 Suddenly, she is potentially historic.
00:07:13.760 She might just become America's first woman president.
00:07:19.260 And what's more, a woman of color, no less, given that Kamala is black.
00:07:24.220 Well, sometimes she's black.
00:07:25.480 Other times she's South Asian.
00:07:27.300 I guess she's racially fluid.
00:07:30.160 Or her identity politics depend on who the audience is at the time.
00:07:35.820 But the point is, much like floral print dresses, suddenly the term woman is back in fashion for the summer of 24.
00:07:45.860 Funny that.
00:07:46.620 Anyway, back to Cody Dentremont, a.k.a. Desiree Anderson.
00:07:52.520 I was in Windsor last week to take in his, her two-day trial for sexual assault.
00:07:59.000 Oh, yes, you see, apparently the ostensible policy reason for Cody Dentremont reimagining himself as Desiree Anderson was to gain admission into the female section of the Welcome Center, a Windsor shelter.
00:08:16.080 And since the Welcome Center is committed to that unholy trinity of diversity, equity, and inclusion, staff welcomed this female fraudster into the shelter, no ifs, ands, or buts.
00:08:29.900 Yeah, this woman is certainly not a person with a vagina, that's for sure.
00:08:35.700 But that's the thing when it comes to transgenderism these days, isn't it?
00:08:40.640 Whatever it is you say you are, well, that's what you are.
00:08:44.720 Maybe Cody claimed his penis identifies as a vagina.
00:08:49.140 Hey, that's good enough for the loony leftists these days.
00:08:53.500 Besides, we mustn't hurt the feelings of a wackadoodle transgender.
00:08:58.120 That would be more criminal than potentially putting vulnerable real woman at risk.
00:09:03.900 Yes, it's equal parts gross and despicable, and so much for the caveat that public safety trumps all else.
00:09:13.300 And so it was that when Cody took up residence in the female section of the shelter, he allegedly sexually assaulted a real bonafide biological woman and was eventually charged with sexual assault.
00:09:28.680 Golly, no one saw that one coming, I guess, eh?
00:09:32.020 Now, before I go on, I must point out there was a publication ban regarding this case, which is to say I cannot report the name of the complainant,
00:09:41.520 nor report any details that might identify her.
00:09:46.220 In any event, I found the two-day trial downright disturbing.
00:09:50.480 Even though I've been a journalist for almost 40 years now, I've never actually covered a sexual assault case before,
00:09:56.480 and I was shocked by how graphic the testimony was.
00:10:01.080 Since this is not an X-rated show, I won't delve into the real nitty-gritty disturbing details that the complainant delivered
00:10:10.000 when she spoke of the alleged rape that took place on March 23, 2023.
00:10:16.200 By the way, going back to 1983, with the passing of Bill C-127, the charge of rape was officially expunged from the Criminal Code of Canada.
00:10:29.120 Now alleged violators are charged with sexual assault.
00:10:33.360 I think this is a big mistake.
00:10:35.320 I mean, what is sexual assault?
00:10:37.860 That could mean the victim was merely groped as opposed to being forced into enduring non-consensual sex.
00:10:45.000 The point is, sexual assault is way too ambiguous, and it dilutes the horror of rape.
00:10:52.600 In any event, during the first day of the trial, the complainant, who was sometimes moved to tears while on the stand,
00:11:00.860 described what happened to her at the Welcome Centre on that day of March 23.
00:11:06.540 She alleged that Cody, who was allowed to share her room,
00:11:09.980 directed unwanted, sexually obscene remarks toward her as Cody applied his makeup.
00:11:17.500 She tried ignoring him, but he later approached her bed.
00:11:21.960 She was laying down that night watching a Netflix show on her tablet.
00:11:26.620 She claimed Cody began making unwelcome advances.
00:11:30.580 Then he allegedly groped her.
00:11:32.740 She would repeatedly move his hand away and yell,
00:11:37.080 No!
00:11:38.260 But Cody, according to her testimony, refused to take no for an answer.
00:11:42.760 What followed next, she claimed, was Cody pulled down her pajama pants.
00:11:48.720 Then, she says, she was briefly, albeit brutally, raped.
00:11:52.640 I'll spare you all the horrific details, except to say that the complainant testified that Cody penetrated her,
00:12:00.520 almost immediately climaxed, and was not wearing a condom.
00:12:05.960 Keep in mind that Cody, in 2023, was identifying as the phony female Desiree.
00:12:13.120 So, why was this dude, who was identifying as a female, allegedly still sexually attracted to real females?
00:12:22.680 Was it a matter of Cody not only reimagining himself as female,
00:12:27.440 but also embracing the sexual orientation of lesbian?
00:12:32.540 It's all so terribly confusing, wouldn't you say?
00:12:36.280 Another thing I'd like to point out here is this.
00:12:38.860 I think it's tragic that cameras are not allowed in Canadian courtrooms,
00:12:45.300 because as the complainant went through her downright harrowing and horrific testimony,
00:12:51.860 Cody, sequestered in the prisoner's box and clad in a brown hoodie,
00:12:56.820 conveyed a look of utter smugness.
00:12:59.920 He smirked, he scoffed, he rolled his eyes,
00:13:02.780 and he placed his hand on his chin in such a way
00:13:06.340 that it looked as though he was displaying his middle finger directly toward his accuser.
00:13:13.040 I was truly shocked by what he was able to get away with.
00:13:16.940 But this would appear to be another case of transgenders not having equal rights,
00:13:23.960 but rather extra special rights.
00:13:26.860 In any event, when the 34-year-old Cody took the stand,
00:13:30.020 we got to learn a thing or two about him.
00:13:32.440 For example, he moved to Windsor from Nova Scotia four years ago in order to see his birth mom.
00:13:39.220 Oddly, mother doesn't have a whole lot of love for her son.
00:13:43.800 That's because since the day he arrived in Windsor,
00:13:47.060 Cody testified that he's been homeless.
00:13:50.140 So much for that chestnut of a mother's love being unconditional,
00:13:54.180 or could it be that his mother is a little afraid of him?
00:13:59.300 I don't know.
00:13:59.800 Alas, these questions and so many other pertinent questions
00:14:05.940 were never asked when Cody was being cross-examined.
00:14:10.680 And a little more on that later.
00:14:12.660 And here's an e-slapper for you.
00:14:14.920 When asked what he does for a living,
00:14:18.120 Cody said he's a psychic.
00:14:20.780 Quote, I tell fortunes and stuff.
00:14:23.620 End quote.
00:14:24.120 Let me ask you folks, does Cody Detrimont strike you as a sort of individual you would hire to get psychic advice?
00:14:34.500 And given that he is homeless, what was his business plan exactly?
00:14:39.820 Does he approach idling motors at a stoplight, much like a squeegee kid?
00:14:44.580 Except that rather than carrying around a squeegee, he sports a crystal ball.
00:14:50.340 In any event, I don't think the amazing Kreskin has anything to worry about.
00:14:56.460 But when he did take the stand, Cody denied every allegation leveled against him.
00:15:02.480 Since there was no video surveillance, nor were there any eyewitnesses that day,
00:15:08.420 the case boiled down to a he-said, she-said matter.
00:15:13.240 I must point out that when the accused and the accuser were cross-examined by the Crown
00:15:20.320 and Cody's legal aid lawyer,
00:15:23.260 yep, folks, your tax dollars hard at work yet again,
00:15:26.400 no detail was left untouched.
00:15:30.840 Did the alleged sexual assault happen in room 101 or was it room 103?
00:15:35.840 Did Cody allegedly use his left hand or his right hand
00:15:39.360 when he allegedly began groping the complainant?
00:15:42.500 And on and on it went.
00:15:45.200 But I found it nothing short of astonishing
00:15:48.700 that the elephant in the room was never addressed,
00:15:52.680 not once, by either the legal aid lawyer, nor the Crown, nor even the judge.
00:15:58.280 And the metaphorical pachyderm I speak of is this.
00:16:02.860 Why in blue hell was the biological male, Cody Dentremont,
00:16:09.160 sleeping in a room that was occupied by vulnerable, real female residents
00:16:15.440 at the Welcome Centre in the first place?
00:16:19.080 I mean, isn't this the crux of the matter?
00:16:22.060 That a man pretended to be a female in order to gain access to real females.
00:16:28.240 And instead of being told no, the Welcome Centre welcomed Cody.
00:16:34.220 Kind of like allowing the fox to have a sleepover in the chicken coop.
00:16:39.640 It is unbelievable and downright shameful.
00:16:43.840 By the way, I should point out that when Cody was sworn in,
00:16:48.460 the name he used was indeed his birth name.
00:16:51.520 Cody Dentremont.
00:16:54.140 But hey, wait a second.
00:16:56.200 Isn't that his dead name now?
00:16:58.700 I mean, what the hell happened to Desiree Anderson?
00:17:02.000 Did he transition back again?
00:17:05.540 Or is this what the Rainbow Mafia refers to as being gender fluid?
00:17:11.400 You know, sometimes he's a dude, sometimes he's a chick with a dick.
00:17:16.280 Hey, after dinner, maybe he will be identifying as a Westinghouse toaster oven.
00:17:22.420 Goodness knows, anything goes.
00:17:24.660 But again, don't you think that this was worthy of exploring?
00:17:30.960 Apparently not.
00:17:31.980 Another observation.
00:17:34.540 It was perversely amusing to see how many pronouns were being used by the lawyers and the judge.
00:17:41.240 He, him, she, her, they, them.
00:17:43.580 It was all over the map.
00:17:45.180 And you know, I don't think there was anything nefarious or cheeky afoot here.
00:17:49.740 Rather, we're all human.
00:17:52.020 And no matter how woke one is, it's kind of hard to refer to a man sporting a goatee as a she-her, wouldn't you say?
00:18:01.340 Another baffling thing.
00:18:03.960 Dentremont's legal aid lawyer, Mario Naboo, often referred to him as Des, short for Desiree.
00:18:11.500 Yet, as I previously mentioned, Des swore himself in as Cody Detremont.
00:18:18.640 Good golly, Miss Molly, even more confusion.
00:18:23.180 Oh, and to add to this ongoing confusion, I left out a key point of Cody's transitioning history.
00:18:31.060 That's because after he was arrested by Windsor Police in April of 2023, Cody began identifying as a cat.
00:18:42.940 No, you heard me correctly.
00:18:44.880 Cody went from male to female to feline.
00:18:48.000 Whether Cody was a female pussycat or a tomcat, well, you got me on that one, folks.
00:18:54.900 Suffer as fuck a cat.
00:18:56.980 You know, I wish I was making all this up, but I'm not.
00:18:59.820 In fact, when I ventured to Windsor last summer, I was able to interview a resident of the Welcome Centre
00:19:06.800 who told me that when she last heard about Cody, he had indeed morphed from a transgender into a trans species.
00:19:18.480 Here, check it out.
00:19:19.600 Is it a matter of political correctness, wokeism?
00:19:22.400 They should make a shelter for people that are indifferent.
00:19:25.080 As well, some shelter employees took the stand at Dentremont's trial last week.
00:19:31.340 They testified that they found the complainant in a distraught state on the day of the alleged rape.
00:19:37.920 They described her as panicked, emotional, crying, and in distress.
00:19:43.500 The employees consult her and offered her any assistance she might require.
00:19:48.560 Well, you know, at least those Welcome Centre employees seemed to be displaying a little empathy.
00:19:54.780 Quite a change of pace, I would say, based on my visit to the Welcome Centre last summer,
00:20:00.400 in which two employees confronted me and my camerawoman.
00:20:04.640 They seemed way more concerned about the misgendering of Cody slash Desiree slash Sylvester
00:20:14.120 than the sexual assault that had allegedly taken place at the shelter back in the springtime.
00:20:21.080 Here, check it out.
00:20:22.160 How does a biological male get into a female shelter, ma'am?
00:20:26.720 It was a transgender woman.
00:20:28.320 So that's my only comment that I'm going to say about that.
00:20:31.440 Okay, but at the end of the day, that's a man, right?
00:20:33.800 Transgender woman.
00:20:36.020 But don't you see that there is an inherent danger?
00:20:39.620 That's my only comment.
00:20:40.760 She's a transgender woman, so we take trans women here because they are women, so...
00:20:45.300 We just find it is egregious and outrageous that you're essentially letting the fox into the hen house,
00:20:52.780 a biological male, with women who...
00:20:56.920 Well, let's face it.
00:20:57.660 This is a safe space for real women, and you don't have a problem with that.
00:21:01.520 It's not that.
00:21:02.440 We also do have male clients here as well, if they're a part of a family unit.
00:21:06.740 But when it comes to transgender women, they are still women, and we take things very seriously
00:21:10.780 when things happen to our clients, and we go from there.
00:21:13.060 But we do support trans women still, regardless, in general.
00:21:17.240 So I'm not going to comment on this anymore.
00:21:19.380 Okay.
00:21:19.660 Because I am uncomfortable that you guys are filming here, regardless of you guys being on top of property.
00:21:25.440 Respectfully, I think you guys just need to carry on.
00:21:28.000 Lady Lafret's number, if you have any more questions, please don't film me.
00:21:31.040 Thank you.
00:21:31.640 Well, you're in a public place.
00:21:33.480 No, I'm actually at my workplace, but please don't film me.
00:21:36.800 Thank you.
00:21:37.080 Well, there's no expectation of privacy in an open place like this, ma'am.
00:21:40.700 So we are going to have to call the police.
00:21:42.080 Okay, for standing on a sidewalk?
00:21:44.020 Don't film me.
00:21:44.620 Thank you.
00:21:45.280 Okay, but you approached us.
00:21:47.260 You interrupted us.
00:21:48.280 I'm approaching you because you're filming my clients and our property.
00:21:51.300 No, we're not filming your clients.
00:21:52.820 You're quite wrong about that.
00:21:54.440 And what's your opinion of a biological man staying with biological people?
00:21:58.860 Okay, I'm not having a conversation.
00:21:59.460 I'm just going to call the police.
00:22:00.820 Wow.
00:22:01.760 You know, this is another example of how 20-something women, I think, are the biggest threat to biological
00:22:10.160 women at large.
00:22:11.220 They have been indoctrinated into actually believing that so-called trans women are real
00:22:18.220 women.
00:22:19.400 And so it is that it is now open season on female shelters and female prisons and female
00:22:26.900 sports leagues.
00:22:28.240 I truly believe these are really self-hating women.
00:22:33.640 I should also note, folks, that the only other media in attendance for the trial was a reporter
00:22:38.480 with CBC Windsor.
00:22:39.940 I guess the Windsor Star and the Windsor radio stations and other Windsor media thought it
00:22:45.840 was just one big nothing burger completely unworthy of coverage, which is really odd because when
00:22:52.480 Dentremont was originally arrested, this story received international media coverage.
00:22:58.800 But then again, in Canada, the mainstream media is funded by Justin Trudeau, who is all in when
00:23:06.240 it comes to radical transgenderism.
00:23:09.120 So maybe it's best not to make waves with reportage that might offend the Jonathan Yanives of the world.
00:23:17.140 Jeez, what cowards.
00:23:19.380 What whores.
00:23:20.080 But predictably, the CBC story also avoided addressing the transgendered elephant in the room and it avoided
00:23:29.080 any mention of pronouns.
00:23:31.880 Cody slash Desiree was simply referred to as Dentremont and as a person.
00:23:39.440 Clearly, it was a little two-third rail for the state broadcaster to delve into the potential motive of a man
00:23:47.780 pretending to be a woman in order to reside in a female shelter space.
00:23:52.980 And of course, absolutely no mention of Cody's transition into a cat.
00:23:59.160 But talk about burying the lead.
00:24:03.980 It is these details, I would argue, that make this particular sexual assault case stand out from any other sexual assault case
00:24:13.860 currently being heard in any other jurisdiction in the world.
00:24:17.820 Now, on day two of the trial, closing arguments were made.
00:24:21.640 Detremont's lawyer, Mr. Naboo, made the case that his client was clear and concise in his denial about the assault
00:24:31.300 that allegedly happened that day.
00:24:33.920 He also claimed that the complainant has serious credibility issues
00:24:39.100 and that she tried to backtrack and reword what she had previously said.
00:24:45.220 As well, he noted that when the complainant's pajama bottoms underwent forensic analysis,
00:24:50.660 there was no trace of Dentremont's DNA.
00:24:55.000 The Crown Attorney, Aniko Kauflin, argued that the complainant was credible and reliable
00:25:01.780 and was responsive to the questions asked of her.
00:25:06.160 Furthermore, any inconsistencies in her testimony were minor
00:25:09.800 and were reasonable and understandable due to the emotional distress that she endured.
00:25:16.440 Now, personally speaking, the lack of Dentremont's DNA on the complainant's pajama bottoms would appear to be a red flag,
00:25:25.200 but then again, it wasn't clear if the complainant had washed her pajamas
00:25:30.760 before turning in the garment to law enforcement, which occurred more than a week later.
00:25:36.700 In the final analysis, Mr. Naboo made the point that there was reasonable doubt,
00:25:44.760 and Madam Justice Sharon Murphy agreed.
00:25:49.280 And frankly, I'm still scratching my head regarding the judge's closing remarks.
00:25:55.920 Namely, she said that she had found the complainant credible,
00:26:00.280 but that she did not find her to be reliable.
00:26:05.680 Now, I had to look up some case law to understand the difference here.
00:26:09.840 And here it is, according to the legal website, Alexi.com,
00:26:14.280 quote,
00:26:14.980 Credibility and reliability are different concepts.
00:26:19.000 Credibility has to do with a witness's veracity,
00:26:22.420 Whereas reliability has to do with their ability to accurately observe, recall, and recount events in issue.
00:26:32.300 End quote.
00:26:33.480 Truth be told, folks, I'm still scratching my head over the nuance here.
00:26:38.700 But regardless, Dentremont was acquitted.
00:26:43.320 By the way, some other relevant points regarding Mr. Cody Dentremont that were not touched upon during the trial.
00:26:50.880 For example, I made mention that until he had to testify, Dentremont occupied the prisoner's box.
00:26:57.940 Now, why would that be?
00:27:00.180 Well, that's because that on January 28th of this year, Dentremont was charged with assault causing bodily harm and assault choking.
00:27:12.340 This obviously violated his bail conditions.
00:27:16.360 He hasn't been tried for those charges yet.
00:27:18.820 But I find it somewhat disturbing that either Dentremont is no stranger to violence,
00:27:25.880 or that he has enormous bad luck when it comes to people falsely accusing him of nefarious behavior.
00:27:35.060 And another thing, while the judge spoke of the complainant's credibility and reliability,
00:27:41.060 what about the credibility and reliability of Cody Dentremont?
00:27:48.120 Dentremont is a biological man with all of his male bits and pieces still firmly affixed,
00:27:55.180 but he is claiming to be a woman.
00:27:59.120 Is this credible?
00:28:00.260 Could it be he is a man gaming the system as a means of gaining access to female shelter space?
00:28:10.320 Is that too much to ask?
00:28:13.760 Apparently so.
00:28:15.420 And why would the staffers at the shelter allow him to reside with vulnerable real women?
00:28:23.400 Is this credible?
00:28:27.220 And what about Dentremont's subsequent transitioning into another species,
00:28:34.980 going from Homo sapiens to Felis catus?
00:28:39.960 Is that credible?
00:28:43.100 Well, I say no on all counts.
00:28:46.140 Look, I'm no psychiatrist here, but to me the behavior of Cody Dentremont slash Desiree Anderson slash the trans cat of Windsor
00:28:54.180 are all tangible telltale indicators of somebody who is very likely bat-shike crazy.
00:29:03.120 Yet because we reside in a woke joke biosphere,
00:29:07.020 we dare not use the words transgender and insane in the same sentence, do we now?
00:29:14.600 Well, transgenders are special.
00:29:17.280 Transgenders are a protected class.
00:29:19.720 Heck, the Toronto Police Service now has a police cruiser painted in the trans colors
00:29:24.420 that offers free rides to transgenders.
00:29:27.820 The Windsor Police, for that matter, has a male officer pretending to be a female,
00:29:33.500 much to the chagrin of the rank and file.
00:29:36.780 But yet this transgendered officer is a paragon of diversity when it comes to the brass.
00:29:42.840 Meanwhile, the Paris Olympic Games just wrapped in which we had to stomach the obscenity
00:29:49.680 that was male boxers caving in the faces of female opponents.
00:29:55.480 And don't you dare complain about that, mind you,
00:29:58.060 for you shall be labeled a hater or a bigot or even a transphobe,
00:30:02.020 and no label is worse than one suggesting transphobia.
00:30:09.020 In the final analysis, was there a reasonable doubt that Cody Dentremont
00:30:15.580 brutally raped a vulnerable woman on March 23rd, 2023?
00:30:21.180 Maybe.
00:30:22.140 It was, after all, a he said, she said scenario.
00:30:25.580 But, if I had been on the bench, I would have still have convicted this sick puppy,
00:30:33.540 or is it a sick kitty?
00:30:35.740 Clearly, this man slash woman slash cat is a grifter.
00:30:41.780 Clearly, he is unstable.
00:30:45.800 Clearly, once upon a decade, this person would have been incarcerated in a rubber room
00:30:51.800 right next to the guy believing himself to be Napoleon Bonaparte or Jesus Christ.
00:30:58.640 But no, it would appear that when it comes to transgenderism,
00:31:03.140 there is this unspoken strategy afoot that is akin to that rule in baseball
00:31:09.140 in which a tie always goes to the runner.
00:31:12.440 As I said, when it comes to transgenders, we are talking about a protected class of people.
00:31:21.600 Now, I will return to Windsor when Dentremont stands trial for assault causing bodily harm
00:31:28.040 and assault choking.
00:31:29.940 I imagine this trial will prove equally fascinating for all the wrong reasons.
00:31:35.540 But, in the meantime, let me conclude with the most pertinent question,
00:31:42.360 aside perhaps from where, oh, where are the feminists?
00:31:46.140 And that question is this.
00:31:48.480 When it comes to these gender-bending grifters
00:31:51.680 who are clearly gaming the system for their own wicked fulfillment,
00:31:57.580 who do you have more contempt for?
00:32:00.220 The grifters or the gatekeepers?
00:32:03.160 There's, in other words, those persons who refuse to do the right thing
00:32:08.900 because of the ideological noose around their necks that is political correctness.
00:32:21.580 Well, folks, it's somewhat hard to believe, but going by the view counts alone,
00:32:26.140 one of the biggest stories this summer was our report about certain tourists
00:32:31.880 going to Wissaga Beach, Ontario, not to just take in the sights, mind you,
00:32:37.740 but also to leave something very odious behind,
00:32:42.500 which is to say some people have been defecating,
00:32:46.540 yes, that's right, defecating on the beach.
00:32:49.280 Now, the original whistleblower regarding this disturbing trend
00:32:53.640 was Wissaga Beach resident Natty.
00:32:57.740 She took to TikTok to call out this truly disgusting behavior
00:33:02.080 occurring down at the beach.
00:33:05.020 But in the aftermath, Natty has been targeted
00:33:08.580 with some calling her racist.
00:33:11.620 That's because Natty reported that the people she observed
00:33:17.200 doing the defecation are primarily those from the East Indian community.
00:33:23.420 Uh-oh, cue the outrage.
00:33:26.320 Indeed, apparently her reporting was tantamount to committing a thought crime.
00:33:32.140 For example, Natty actually received a visit
00:33:34.700 by a constable with the Ontario Provincial Police.
00:33:37.600 Somebody called in about somebody posting things on TikTok
00:33:43.480 about East Indians defecating on the beach.
00:33:47.900 And then last Sunday, the front page story in the Toronto Star
00:33:52.280 was all about this particular issue,
00:33:55.760 but instead of calling out the perpetrators,
00:33:58.760 the star decided to, well, shoot the messenger,
00:34:01.740 implying that calling out such sordid behavior is,
00:34:05.520 yes, you guessed it, racist.
00:34:08.560 Unbelievable.
00:34:09.640 And joining me now from Nova Scotia
00:34:11.980 to try and make sense of it all is Natty herself.
00:34:15.800 Hey, Natty, thank you very much for making time for me.
00:34:18.780 How you doing there in Nova Scotia?
00:34:21.440 I'm doing good.
00:34:22.620 It's a good little getaway and a break from everything
00:34:25.480 that's been going on.
00:34:26.520 So I'm thankful I got out here with my family.
00:34:29.380 Well, I'm happy to hear that.
00:34:31.620 Natty, I read the Toronto Star piece.
00:34:34.400 I thought it was a shameful story.
00:34:36.560 I thought it was an outright hit piece.
00:34:38.940 What did you make of it?
00:34:42.480 Actually, there's a lot more to this story
00:34:44.560 than just that article that was written.
00:34:46.620 I knew that that was going to be her,
00:34:50.000 like what she wanted to go along with for the article.
00:34:53.540 I already kind of sniffed that out
00:34:55.520 when she was trying to interview me.
00:34:57.140 But I'm not surprised if I could say that
00:35:01.900 because given how she interviewed me
00:35:05.100 and the way she was speaking to me,
00:35:06.920 I already picked up on her narrative.
00:35:09.120 And I defined the interview for that reason
00:35:11.420 because I already seen which direction it was going.
00:35:15.340 Yeah, you know, and I think that's really bad journalism.
00:35:18.600 You go into a story, not with an open mind,
00:35:23.120 but with a narrative that you're going to prove,
00:35:27.780 regardless of what the facts have to say.
00:35:30.720 And Natty, I'm sorry,
00:35:32.200 but you have seen this happen
00:35:35.960 based on where you used to live in Wasaga Beach.
00:35:39.700 And we have spoken to current and past bylaw officers.
00:35:46.300 We have spoken to our sources in the Indian community,
00:35:50.800 as a matter of fact.
00:35:52.260 They say this is happening.
00:35:53.920 And what's more, you can go online.
00:35:57.420 There is no shortage of videos
00:35:59.900 showing people in India doing that on beaches.
00:36:05.620 So I'm not suggesting there's some kind of a racial component
00:36:08.940 that, you know, here necessarily.
00:36:12.380 It's more of a cultural behavior, I would argue.
00:36:15.900 And some people coming over here
00:36:18.080 are bringing that cultural behavior to Canada.
00:36:23.580 And it shouldn't be tolerated,
00:36:25.840 especially as you've pointed out,
00:36:27.800 there are public bathrooms within, you know,
00:36:31.600 meters of the sandy beaches of Wasaga Beach.
00:36:36.220 Yeah, there's more than enough facilities
00:36:38.240 for people to use.
00:36:39.860 There's no excuse to the behavior.
00:36:42.260 And I'll keep saying this,
00:36:43.440 and I've continued to say it.
00:36:47.300 Everyone's going there with the intention of doing it.
00:36:50.480 It's just, there's been a lot of back and forth
00:36:52.200 on social media.
00:36:53.780 I'm not sure if I told you about the truckers.
00:36:55.900 I just want to make this clear
00:36:57.040 so people also see this.
00:36:58.380 There was a lot of back and forth
00:37:00.300 about white men using truck stops
00:37:04.320 and peeing against their truck in the parking lot
00:37:06.640 in comparison to what was happening at the beach.
00:37:09.200 I have like men from that community tagging me saying,
00:37:12.340 oh, come get your uncle, come get your dad.
00:37:14.500 Are you not going to call this behavior out?
00:37:16.280 And it's crazy that people aren't deciphering
00:37:19.340 the fact of defecating on a beach
00:37:22.000 where families go and where children play
00:37:23.940 and comparing it to an empty parking lot
00:37:26.380 that truckers use.
00:37:27.680 So that's a big one I'm dealing with right now.
00:37:29.900 And it's baffling to me.
00:37:31.660 They don't understand the difference.
00:37:33.600 They think it's all classed as one, but it's not.
00:37:36.540 Yeah, it's certainly not the same scenario,
00:37:39.840 I would argue.
00:37:40.820 And I mean, you also mentioned too,
00:37:42.460 and this is disturbing,
00:37:44.280 people burying soil diapers on the beach.
00:37:48.440 I mean, for goodness sakes, that is a health hazard
00:37:51.560 to the point where I think you mentioned to me before,
00:37:55.280 Natty, that some mothers wouldn't let their toddlers
00:37:59.100 dig on the beach in case of coming up
00:38:02.180 with a very disturbing surprise.
00:38:05.980 But, you know, what I also find amazing
00:38:08.920 about the star piece is that they go out of their way
00:38:15.020 to quote somebody from the anti-hate network.
00:38:20.140 And if you know anything about the history
00:38:21.460 of the anti-hate network, they're all about hate,
00:38:25.880 but hate directed at some specific groups.
00:38:28.940 And the idea of them saying that, you know,
00:38:31.580 hatred against the Indian community
00:38:34.100 is one of the biggest issues right now,
00:38:37.460 when for 10 months we've seen the pro-Hamas people
00:38:41.720 chanting for genocide on the streets
00:38:44.300 of our great dominion.
00:38:46.080 I mean, it's a bit much to take.
00:38:48.900 But tell me, Natty, as I alluded to in the introduction,
00:38:52.520 a police officer actually got on this case,
00:38:56.640 not to investigate anyone defecating on the beach,
00:39:00.540 but what was it, to visit your house
00:39:03.480 and find out why you posted that TikTok video?
00:39:08.040 Yeah, the whole point of the police coming to my house,
00:39:10.900 I think, was a scare tactic from the messages
00:39:14.580 I was receiving on TikTok to the things
00:39:16.960 that people were saying to me, actually.
00:39:19.160 I think that that happened the day after
00:39:21.940 I called out the mayor for calling me a liar
00:39:24.360 and calling the hundreds of people in my comments
00:39:27.620 talking about their own experiences,
00:39:29.060 saying they're liars, there's no proof.
00:39:31.160 Like, am I not more than enough if I'm saying this?
00:39:33.420 I'm saying it for a reason.
00:39:35.300 And that was, the police came the day
00:39:37.840 after I called out the mayor,
00:39:39.240 and I don't think that's a coincidence.
00:39:40.880 I think it was a stop talking about me
00:39:42.980 before I make this bigger than it should be.
00:39:46.420 So I think that was just a scare tactic.
00:39:48.100 And I'm like, there's crime in Wasega Beach.
00:39:50.880 I think there's something else you could be doing
00:39:53.680 besides harassing a single mom with three kids.
00:39:55.980 Like, I was busy.
00:39:56.960 I even burnt my lunch because they came to the door
00:39:59.460 and I'm like, I've recorded it.
00:40:01.260 I'm just like, why are you guys harassing me?
00:40:03.580 Like, a waste of taxpayer money, if you ask me.
00:40:07.260 Yeah.
00:40:07.680 What did the police officer say to you exactly, Natty?
00:40:11.900 When he told me that he received a phone call
00:40:15.020 that I was harassing South Asian.
00:40:18.260 Oh, no.
00:40:18.840 East Indian.
00:40:19.880 Sorry.
00:40:20.180 The South Asian was what the son said about me.
00:40:22.640 These people are just talking out their behinds, okay?
00:40:25.420 That was the...
00:40:27.440 I got it confused with the Toronto Sun.
00:40:29.320 That's what they said I did.
00:40:30.280 But then I was told by the officer that I was harassing East Indians.
00:40:34.860 I never specified a direction, okay?
00:40:37.080 My statements were broad and to the point.
00:40:39.580 You've seen my TikTok.
00:40:40.540 I was on, like, the radio show.
00:40:42.300 I spoke on my experiences.
00:40:44.200 It's NattyLyn 2.0.
00:40:45.700 Natty.
00:40:46.220 NattyLyn 2.0.
00:40:47.660 I personally have not had any calls for this type of behavior on the beach.
00:40:51.420 Yeah.
00:40:52.060 And from my understanding, it's actually...
00:40:54.320 These actual incidents happened some time ago.
00:40:57.560 No, it's been recently.
00:40:59.040 I never called out a single community from India or Sikhs or anything like that, that people were making it out to me.
00:41:05.760 I wasn't the one that said any of that.
00:41:08.560 But that's what the police said.
00:41:09.920 We received a phone call that you were on TikTok harassing East Indians.
00:41:14.940 That's incredible.
00:41:15.880 There was no talk of any charges.
00:41:17.980 And, you know, I can't even imagine what the charges would be.
00:41:21.680 Although, you know...
00:41:23.300 You never know.
00:41:23.960 Yeah, well, you know, we do have the most censorious legislation in the history of the Western world, Bill C-68, pending approval.
00:41:33.680 So, it hasn't been passed yet.
00:41:36.420 But I almost find that as, like, an eerie example of intimidation.
00:41:42.600 I mean, you're a young single mother and here is this cop coming to your house and saying we're getting complaints.
00:41:49.400 It just seems to me that there are far better things for law enforcement to get concerned over than that.
00:41:58.220 But, you know, we need to make the point.
00:42:01.240 You hardly, you know, match the profile of a white supremacist.
00:42:07.300 You are indigenous, are you not?
00:42:08.980 Yes, I am.
00:42:10.520 I am First Nations.
00:42:12.380 It's crazy what people are saying.
00:42:14.060 And it's funny.
00:42:14.580 They're just speaking, like, to speak.
00:42:16.900 It's like I just came up with this new kind of saying I was talking about.
00:42:19.900 I'm like, a lot of you have your eyes, your eyes are open, but your mouths are closed.
00:42:24.780 And some of you need to close your mouth and open your eyes.
00:42:27.900 Yeah, no, good point.
00:42:28.960 And, you know, from years ago, I can't remember what year exactly, but the Canadian government was funding these posters.
00:42:36.400 It was for an African nation and it had a pictograph, you know, basically the universal no slash to somebody in a squatting position, basically saying in graphics, don't defecate on the beach.
00:42:51.380 So we know that this is a problem in certain nations.
00:42:58.200 But, you know, what I see happening here by the usual suspects, especially on the left, this is the very epitome of political correctness, isn't it?
00:43:07.640 That if the truth is hurtful or offensive to some people, you should self-censor yourself and not say it.
00:43:17.740 That's what the vibe I'm getting, Natty, when I see the reaction, especially from those on the left, to your postings.
00:43:25.960 Yeah, that's honestly what I've been seeing, too.
00:43:30.920 People are going as far as saying, like, they said that I was a far right and I don't keep up with politics.
00:43:36.960 So I didn't know what that meant.
00:43:38.820 So my dad explained it to me.
00:43:40.800 And then I'm like, well, if that means you're on the right side of things, I guess that's what I am.
00:43:45.240 But I don't keep up with politics.
00:43:47.040 I'm just me.
00:43:47.900 It's like if I see something wrong or something bothering me or something that is affecting a lot of people that are too scared to stand up, I'm going to use my voice and I'm going to stand up.
00:43:59.180 I've been thanked so many times by so many people for talking about the things that I'm now talking about on my platform because we've been conditioned as Canadians to sit back and watch things completely spiral and not say a thing about it because we're polite.
00:44:14.020 We're too nice.
00:44:14.680 But, you know, eventually everybody gets to a breaking point.
00:44:18.720 And I think I just hit mine.
00:44:20.060 And a lot of people are thankful for that fact.
00:44:22.640 But I believe in standing up for things that are right.
00:44:26.320 And I think we've been pushed around for far too long.
00:44:28.540 And it's just now it's a matter of like whether it's not whether or not you're right or wrong.
00:44:34.540 I think it's just we have to really take a stand and just stand up for what's right.
00:44:38.420 Nothing's going to change if we don't speak up and say what's wrong.
00:44:42.700 And, you know, Natty, I see these stickers that are put up in certain places by law enforcement that basically say, see something wrong, report it.
00:44:53.300 They want to report it as opposed to, you know, silencing yourself.
00:44:58.440 And here you report something and you get a visit from an OPP constable admonishing you for hurting the feelings of certain people incredibly.
00:45:07.940 And from the political element, I mean, I think the mayor of Mississauga, sorry, Wasaga Beach, he reminds me of the mayor from Jaws.
00:45:18.200 As you know, he's being told by the sheriff that there's a 20-foot great white shark near the beach.
00:45:25.580 But let's not say anything.
00:45:26.980 We got the 4th of July weekend coming up.
00:45:29.680 This will be bad for tourism.
00:45:32.320 And at one point, I think it was a couple of weeks, good golly, even Premier Ford weighed in on people defecating on the beach.
00:45:41.280 Tell me, Natty, when you made that TikTok posting, did you ever dream that it was going to cause such a reaction?
00:45:51.140 No, no, honestly, that wasn't my intention.
00:45:54.140 I was just, where I was coming from was a place in my heart.
00:45:57.300 I wasn't rude or racist.
00:45:59.160 I said everything as nice as possible, considering everything I had seen and went through.
00:46:04.220 But for Doug Ford to talk about it, it was very funny to me, because if this wasn't such a big issue, why were the tents banned right away?
00:46:13.160 Why did the Premier know about it?
00:46:15.160 I heard that the mayor was on vacation at the time.
00:46:20.740 I think they said that.
00:46:22.260 And the other women, the people in the town are outraged, because the lady that was supposed to be in place of the mayor didn't step up and defend the beach or say anything.
00:46:31.580 She just chose to stay silent.
00:46:32.960 And so there's also that going on, along with now they've posted about Doug Ford speaking about it.
00:46:38.720 And I never imagined this at all.
00:46:40.840 But I feel like people need to look at the bigger picture and say, I'm not lying about any of this, because if it's gone as far as it did, I think my videos would have been shut down after day one of it going viral.
00:46:51.040 If this was not an issue, people are interacting with it.
00:46:54.440 They know what's happening.
00:46:55.600 The big people don't want people to know what's happening because money.
00:46:59.920 It's a tourist town.
00:47:01.300 They cannot risk it.
00:47:02.680 Yeah.
00:47:03.440 And we did reach out twice, I believe, to the town of Wasaga Beach.
00:47:08.220 Never heard a reply.
00:47:09.900 But you mentioned something very significant for those who haven't been following the story.
00:47:14.320 You mentioned tents.
00:47:15.740 And there's this allegation that some people are pitching tents.
00:47:19.580 And that's where they do their business and then bury it afterwards.
00:47:22.900 And there was a bylaw passed, I believe, I'm going by memory, where it was about banning tents.
00:47:31.580 But it was a toothless tiger because the beach itself is provincial parkland.
00:47:37.320 And as I understand it, shortly after this brouhaha erupted, didn't the town of Wasaga Beach pass a motion asking the provincial parks people to enforce the tent ban bylaw?
00:47:55.060 And, Natty, that makes me ask, well, Mr. Mayor, you said there's no problem.
00:48:00.540 But now you want the tents removed.
00:48:03.160 Why?
00:48:03.800 If there's no problem.
00:48:05.460 And why so quickly?
00:48:06.760 And why did it go up to a higher level of, I'm not sure, see, I don't know about the government and politics, but that big house of people, you know, where they all vote and I don't know what it's called.
00:48:18.000 Oh, the legislature.
00:48:18.720 The House of Commons.
00:48:20.000 The House of Commons.
00:48:21.180 It went to that.
00:48:22.520 So if this was just somebody saying one thing online and having, there was nothing to back it up, why did it go to the House of Commons for the bill to be passed for the tents to be banned on the beach?
00:48:33.900 So, Natty, tell me, before you went off for a little break to Nova Scotia with your family, did you see anything in Wasaga Beach change because of all this publicity?
00:48:47.920 You know, did you see maybe people being more wary, especially, and I'm not trying to condemn everyone that brings a tent to the beach, but, you know, maybe a little more, you know, self-policing or what have you that might be influencing bad behavior occurring on the beach?
00:49:07.940 Like I've said, I have been avoiding the main end, and especially since I did get so much exposure on this and the messages and stuff I've told you about that I received from those men and warnings to be careful.
00:49:24.260 I have not gone down to that part of the beach, but, excuse me, sorry, I have watched a live where the guy goes live on the beach, and it looks the exact same.
00:49:37.920 There are still tents up, but I think the three-sided tents that we've seen, so I think people are being more mindful of it, which it sucks that a few bad apples ruined it for everyone else,
00:49:50.160 but there are so many alternatives on the beach to use besides that, so I feel like all in all, this was a positive change for the beach.
00:49:58.400 It'll be easier to keep it clean, too, because you don't know if people put their garbage under the tents along with whatever they were doing,
00:50:04.800 and apparently patrol has picked up on the beach, so, like, more bylaw walking the beach and officers out there to enforce things on the beach.
00:50:14.460 That's just what I've heard from people.
00:50:16.140 Well, that's really hard to hear, because, you know, as you know, Nettie, Wasaga Beach has claimed the fame.
00:50:23.580 It's the longest freshwater beach in the world.
00:50:26.920 It is a gem, and we shouldn't be, whether it's litter or defecation, God forbid, we shouldn't be, you know, making this gem tarnished as the summer goes on.
00:50:41.080 And also, bring us up to date, because another very relevant thing about this story, in terms of the backlash by some against you,
00:50:53.440 was that TikTok canceled your account, and then I think they reinstated it, and then they took it down again.
00:51:01.160 What is the status of your TikTok account right now, Nettie?
00:51:04.920 Actually, I just got off another ban.
00:51:08.800 I was banned for, and I emailed TikTok, and they're like, we can't seem to find your account.
00:51:14.600 They banned me twice in one day, and that was two days ago that that happened to me.
00:51:19.380 I have since created an X account, which I've gotten a good amount of followers on there now, nothing like my TikTok, but it's going to take time to build it.
00:51:27.880 But it is complete censorship, because people are making accounts and telling everybody that's a part of those groups to go mass report my account.
00:51:37.580 And I have emailed TikTok saying, I'm being targeted, literally, just for the color of my skin, because that's what it is, because it's a group of Indian people.
00:51:45.340 They actually made a page on Instagram for people to go mass report my lives.
00:51:49.880 If I'm just going live talking about my day, or even if I comment something, they report my comments, even if it's a nice comment.
00:51:57.140 They're reporting all my videos.
00:51:59.600 And I told TikTok, like, I'm being targeted, and I feel like this app is really enabling that, because people get excited when they see my accounts banned.
00:52:08.480 They're like, oh, we did it, we did it.
00:52:09.840 And then you guys reinstate it, on top of the mental stress that it causes me to know, like, look, I've worked hard for this, and you guys can just take it away because of people's false accusations.
00:52:19.840 Why do I have to keep trying to email and contact you guys and tell you, hey, I'm being targeted?
00:52:25.060 You guys need to put a stop on these bans, because you reinstate my account every time.
00:52:29.160 There is no violations.
00:52:30.900 So I think now it's just a matter of TikTok stepping up and being like, okay, you know, she is a victim, and I am being targeted.
00:52:37.560 And I don't trust the app.
00:52:40.200 I don't at all.
00:52:41.520 You have no voice on there.
00:52:43.340 I think going over to X, you know, with Elon Musk, he's far more of a proponent of free speech.
00:52:50.020 So I think that's a good move.
00:52:51.860 But, you know, it's another example, Natty.
00:52:53.320 I mean, you know, Ezra, at the beginning of the year, called 2024 the year of censorship.
00:52:59.880 And, you know, TikTok's behavior towards you is another indicator of that.
00:53:05.320 But, you know, I know it can be very stressful, and you're a young mom.
00:53:09.200 But you told me off camera, you've emerged as a bit of a celebrity.
00:53:13.140 You've gone into a Walmart.
00:53:14.580 I think you said like 15 people came up to you.
00:53:17.120 They recognized you.
00:53:18.200 And no one's giving you aggro.
00:53:20.300 They're all applauding you.
00:53:21.920 Surely that's a good thing, wouldn't you say?
00:53:24.780 Yeah.
00:53:25.180 And like I've been saying, when I went into the store, I was going there.
00:53:28.680 It was the day before I left for my trip.
00:53:30.540 I just had to, like, get my cat some food before I went and stuff.
00:53:33.180 So it was only for little things.
00:53:34.800 And I had so many people stop me and be like, good job.
00:53:37.720 You're doing well.
00:53:38.380 Please be safe.
00:53:39.200 Please be careful.
00:53:40.020 People were praising me and saying thank you.
00:53:41.980 And, like, there was about, like, 20 other people that were just looking at me and smiling,
00:53:45.920 like, too shy to come up to me.
00:53:47.320 But, of course, I scurried out at that point.
00:53:49.640 I had my kids with me.
00:53:50.700 Like, I appreciated it.
00:53:51.720 But I'm like, ooh, my kids are with me.
00:53:53.440 What if someone takes a picture?
00:53:54.460 Like, there's also that mental, like, stress that comes with that.
00:53:58.320 Like, I do appreciate it.
00:53:59.720 And most people support me.
00:54:01.780 I'd say the majority of people support me.
00:54:04.340 But you have that 2% that, you know, that probably don't want me around.
00:54:10.120 Well, you know what, Nettie?
00:54:11.320 I don't know who that 2% is.
00:54:13.040 As for me, I'm a big fan of civilization.
00:54:15.760 I'm a huge fan of sanitation, hygiene.
00:54:18.980 And what normal person in their right mind, you know, has no problem with people defecating
00:54:28.740 on a public beach?
00:54:29.800 It's disgusting.
00:54:30.680 It should be called out.
00:54:32.020 I think, as you said, the beach patrols have stepped up, which is a good thing.
00:54:36.680 I think that's going to cause a lot of people to think twice.
00:54:39.400 And they should think twice.
00:54:40.720 Because, as we said earlier, you can go to a toilet that is within walking distance of
00:54:47.680 the beach.
00:54:48.060 There is absolutely zero excuse for this.
00:54:51.240 Nettie, let's wrap by this.
00:54:52.680 You're in Nova Scotia.
00:54:53.540 I know Nova Scotia has some beautiful beaches.
00:54:56.020 Please tell me, you haven't seen anyone defecating on those beaches, have you?
00:55:00.220 Oh, gosh, no.
00:55:01.160 We went to the beach.
00:55:02.040 Beautiful white sand beach.
00:55:03.620 People had tents.
00:55:04.560 People were barbecuing.
00:55:05.920 Not one piece of trash left behind.
00:55:08.360 No tents for outhouses.
00:55:10.280 Like, it was a totally different scene to be here.
00:55:12.780 And I felt like I was in the Caribbean on a vacation.
00:55:15.440 You know what I mean?
00:55:15.940 They keep it so clean and respectful.
00:55:17.640 It's just whoever decides to visit the beaches and make them really gross.
00:55:23.140 Well, you know what?
00:55:24.020 That's what it is.
00:55:25.000 At the end of the day, it's about respect.
00:55:27.400 It's having respect for yourself as a human being.
00:55:30.540 And it's having respect for a public beach that is used by thousands of people during the season.
00:55:38.340 And there is, like I said, zero excuse for such despicable and disgusting and, well, borderline dangerous behavior if people come into contact with that substance.
00:55:52.940 Natty, thank you so much for your time.
00:55:54.220 Natty, thank you so much for your time.
00:55:55.160 We'll continue to watch your reports.
00:55:58.100 And you stay safe out there, my friend.
00:56:01.020 Of course.
00:56:01.740 Thank you for having me.
00:56:02.940 You got it.
00:56:03.480 Thanks for having me.
00:56:05.200 Thank you so much.
00:56:06.480 Bye.
00:56:06.800 Bye.
00:56:07.140 Bye.
00:56:09.240 Bye.
00:56:13.840 Bye.
00:56:15.000 Bye.
00:56:15.060 Bye.
00:56:15.100 Bye.
00:56:16.100 Bye.
00:56:17.000 Bye.
00:56:17.900 Bye.
00:56:18.080 Bye.
00:56:18.720 Bye.
00:56:19.040 Bye.
00:56:19.060 Bye.
00:56:19.360 Bye.
00:56:19.720 Bye.
00:56:19.980 Bye.
00:56:20.100 Bye.
00:56:20.380 Bye.
00:56:20.600 Bye.
00:56:21.360 Bye.
00:56:21.520 Bye.
00:56:21.780 Bye.
00:56:22.780 Bye.
00:56:23.960 Bye.
00:56:24.420 Bye.
00:56:24.720 Bye.
00:56:25.440 Bye.
00:56:25.800 Bye.
00:56:26.380 Bye.
00:56:26.820 Bye.
00:56:27.300 Bye.
00:56:27.940 Bye.
00:56:29.720 Bye.
00:56:30.580 Bye.
00:56:31.300 Bye.
00:56:31.560 Bye.
