00:05:07.040 When I came up the Grand Parade when I arrived in Cork, I saw the Palestinian side first.

00:05:18.080 I see a couple over there and one there, but they're outnumbered five to one by Palestinian

00:05:29.740 And there's lots of kafiyahs and little watermelon triangles, which is the triangle, the red triangle

00:05:38.960 And I have to say, I am somewhat surprised by the size of the pro-Hamas crowd.
00:05:47.220 When I was in Dublin, they had a much smaller pro-Hamas counter protest in reaction to the
00:05:54.720 nationalist protest, which I came here actually to cover.
00:05:58.340 However, I guess Cork is a more left-leaning town.
00:06:02.940 A couple of people here who recognized me came up to me to tell me it's actually a pretty
00:06:07.460 woke place.

00:06:12.080 You know, Ireland's political class is very anti-Israel.
00:06:17.140 In fact, I would go so far as to say that the political establishment in Ireland actually
00:06:22.260 is anti-Semitic.

00:09:51.960 Irish often can't afford it, whereas migrants, and frankly, most of the refugee claimants

00:09:58.460 They get government subsidies, so there's an unfairness built into it.

00:12:50.940 I assume it's referring to Israel and denouncing or sanctioning Israel.
00:12:56.460 The Irish government is obsessed with Israel, even though it's so far away from the Middle

00:13:03.560 There's no historical connection, no ethnic connection, no religious connection.
00:13:08.460 And as I mentioned before, there's almost no Jews in Ireland, 2,000 out of a country of

00:13:15.060 And I've been thinking about that because the pro-Hamas rally, the counter-protest to today's
00:13:21.960 nationalist anti-immigration rally was basically a Hamas rally.
00:13:26.260 There were some Antifa people there, some environmentalist people there, some Marxist

00:13:31.440 But mainly, it was a Hamas rally.
00:13:33.920 And I was thinking, why are some Irish obsessed with Israel?
