Rebel News Podcast - EZRA LEVANT ｜ Vandalism and arson are now commonplace for Toronto's Jewish community

00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. What an interesting night. I am in Toronto at a huge town hall meeting with

00:00:04.940 politicians trying to explain this anti-Semitic crime wave. I'll tell you who was loved and who

00:00:11.820 was hated, and I'll tell you about how we deployed the Rebel truck. I really want you to see the 0.99

00:00:17.560 truck. It's gorgeous. But to do that, you have to become a subscriber to Rebel News Plus. Go to

00:00:23.140 rebelnewsplus.com. Click subscribe. It's eight bucks a month. It lets you see our video content,

00:00:28.600 but more than that, it helps pay our bills because we take no money from Trudeau, and it shows. All

00:00:33.180 right, here's tonight's podcast. Tonight, politicians gather to try and explain away their failure

00:00:37.920 to stop the anti-Semitic crime wave in Canada. It's August 1st, and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.

00:00:44.080 You're fighting for freedom. Shame on you, you censorious bug.

00:00:58.600 Ezra LeVant here. I'm standing in front of the Rebel News truck, Long May She Drive. And right

00:01:07.160 over there is a synagogue called Pride of Israel. You might recall that a few weeks ago, the big

00:01:14.120 plate glass windows in the front were smashed, and the place was vandalized in a very serious way.

00:01:21.820 I came upon it, and there was really nothing, no interest, very little interest. Ironically,

00:01:28.620 the synagogue is called Pride of Israel, and it was smashed on the day of Pride Day, as they call it

00:01:34.680 in Toronto. Maybe if that had been a gay synagogue, police would have given a damn. But I think vandalism 0.99

00:01:41.860 and arson is now commonplace in the Jewish community in Toronto, which is so ironic because until just a 1.00

00:01:48.940 blink of an eye ago, this really was one of the largest, most assimilated, most integrated, most

00:01:55.100 successful, most peaceful Jewish communities in North America. I mean, perhaps second only to New York

00:02:02.700 and L.A. And now the Jewish community is terrified because literally every day there's another arson attack

00:02:09.500 or another threat of some sort. At this synagogue today, I understand that a number of politicians

00:02:16.100 will be gathering to talk at the community. I say talk at the community because they're not really

00:02:22.300 going to listen. You're going to see Mayor Olivia Chow show up. Well, good for her. It's a bit shocking

00:02:27.940 she'd even attend. She's very much pro-Gaza. A liberal MP named Anthony Housefather will be here.

00:02:34.880 He claims to be a pro-Israel MP, and I believe him, but he puts his loyalty to Justin Trudeau first.

00:02:41.780 You'll also see, if rumors are true, Yara Sachs, an odious MP who's a cabinet minister for Justin 1.00

00:02:49.100 Trudeau. She's bad enough in her official job as Trudeau's hard drug pusher. She's the MP in charge of 0.99

00:02:56.000 decriminalizing safe supply drugs across Canada. But in an astonishing lack of judgment, she flew to the

00:03:03.840 Middle East to meet with a terrorist kingpin named Mahmoud Abbas, embraced him, smiled with him,

00:03:12.060 sort of gave him a kind of handshake hug. It was really weird. And she's just been an utter, utter

00:03:18.160 disgrace. I hope to see her and ask her if she regrets or apologizes doing that. There's going to 0.57

00:03:24.420 be some police here too, again, tutting the community. It was incredible to me yesterday when a Jewish school

00:03:30.400 was torched for police to say, no, no, there's no hate crime here. It was just a homeless person.

00:03:35.720 Yeah, that's it. Anyways, we'll see what happens today. We'll see if we're allowed in. It'll be

00:03:40.680 interesting to see if we're given the bums rush, as sometimes happens to Rebel News. We'll have our

00:03:45.900 truck here. It's on a public road, so I don't think we'll be evicted. I hope that one of my colleagues,

00:03:51.880 Avery, will have a chance to chat with ordinary people to see what they think about the themes of the

00:03:56.060 truck. This one is about stopping Gaza refugees. Did you know that Trudeau is bringing thousands 1.00

00:04:01.380 of Gaza refugees to Canada? It's madness. Not even fellow Arab countries are crazy enough to do that. 1.00

00:04:07.700 We also have a campaign called Deport Hamas, where anyone in Canada who is not a Canadian citizen, 1.00

00:04:13.720 they're caught promoting Hamas at these hate marches. We think they should be sent home.

00:04:18.200 We have a couple others on there too, including one criticizing Toronto's awful, awful police chief.

00:04:24.580 Anyways, that's what we're up to. We'll see if we have any luck as the night progresses.

00:04:29.280 I'm here supporting Israel, and there's a lot of anti-Semitic things that have been going on in

00:04:37.240 the city, and I want to hear what the politicians have to say about it.

00:04:41.260 What do you expect to hear from the politicians?

00:04:43.260 I'm hoping to hear some type of solutions, but I actually doubt it. I doubt there are solutions at

00:04:50.620 this point. I think that the anti-Semitism in this city has become intolerable as someone who's been

00:04:59.160 born and raised here. And I think on a political level, nothing has been done to help protect us

00:05:05.700 and keep our community safe. And so we have to come show support. It really feels like we're the only

00:05:10.940 ones looking out for ourselves. And it's up to us to have our voice heard and to keep our community

00:05:17.620 safe because no one else is willing to do it right now.

00:05:20.920 I love the truck. We need a ton of those trucks. 0.90

00:05:23.640 Hi, ma'am. What do you think about the truck?

00:05:26.460 I think it's amazing.

00:05:27.840 What do you think of the message of the truck, folks?

00:05:30.480 Good.

00:05:31.400 It's about my opinion, precisely.

00:05:33.900 I'm now in the front doors of the synagogue. You might remember this is exactly where I was

00:05:38.380 standing when I was here the morning. They smashed the plate glass windows. As you can see,

00:05:43.380 today it's a little bit different. They've set up metal detectors and they have a ton of security.

00:05:48.100 And you can also see a certain kind of security that is RCMP special protection, a kind of security

00:05:55.700 style. I think that's RCMP. I could be wrong. We're having that security not to protect the Jewish

00:06:03.100 community. As soon as the politicians are gone, that security will be gone. Those metal detectors and

00:06:10.280 these security are for the politicians, not the people.

00:06:15.500 And I just spoke to the president of the synagogue, Steve Bloom, very friendly guy.

00:06:20.280 He sort of astonished me, though, by saying no cameras allowed, no recording whatsoever, and no questions

00:06:28.520 allowed. I said, are you saying that in this anti-Semitic crime wave that we will be sitting there and

00:06:35.300 passively listening to the politicians instead of them listening to the people? And he said, yes,

00:06:41.180 absolutely. Isn't that astonishing? Isn't that incredible? The people who have screwed everything

00:06:48.180 up, the people who have either contributed to this crime wave or done nothing to stop it, 0.98

00:06:54.980 they will stand and lecture the people of this community who will be told, shut up.

00:07:02.920 I think there's a lot of questions that need to be answered. I'm not that interested in hearing for

00:07:08.660 the 10th time from Olivia Chow, her prefab speech, but that interested in hearing Anthony Housefather's

00:07:15.320 latest excuse for Justin Trudeau. I want to ask questions, not just for myself, but for the

00:07:21.320 community. And I want people who live around here to have the chance to ask questions too.

00:07:26.120 I think this is a stitch up, as they'd say in the UK. This is a fake town hall. Town halls are for the

00:07:33.560 people in the town to speak up, not for them to be told, shut up, they explained. I'm not pleased with

00:07:39.400 what I hear, but the event hasn't started yet. We'll see how it goes. Now, I was just told by the

00:07:44.180 president of the synagogue that there are no questions allowed. I don't know if that's just a rule that

00:07:48.860 applies to me, but he suggested it applies to everybody. What do you think about that?

00:07:53.100 I think questions should be loud, of course. I think there's a lot of questions to ask.

00:07:56.800 Well, I think there should be questions. There are questions. Whether they buy them or not,

00:08:02.700 there are questions. There are a lot of questions, and that's interesting. I've been to a few of these,

00:08:07.660 and they have allowed questions. So I wonder why they're not allowing questions. Well, I mean,

00:08:12.200 it doesn't seem, like, it just seems strange. I mean, if I wanted to be a passive receiver of

00:08:18.280 information, I'd just flick on YouTube. Yeah, no, exactly. Yeah, well, maybe they'll flip that

00:08:24.400 around midstream. I can understand, because there are some political officials who are coming,

00:08:30.500 who are some of these events, you know, there are some reactions from the crowd, and I understand

00:08:36.200 that wanting to show a level of respect for these politicians that are coming. Questions could be

00:08:41.260 asked respectfully. They could even be written down on a piece of paper. Yeah, I think we just,

00:08:45.600 as a whole, we want to show appreciation for these people showing up and coming to talk about what to

00:08:51.840 do to make the community safer. And if they think that it's just a more controlled way of doing it,

00:08:55.580 I have no problem with it. What question would you ask if you were allowed to?

00:09:00.840 What is happening with the increase in all these incidents that are going on? Is there a plan?

00:09:07.920 What's happening? Because it seems to be really getting out of control.

00:09:12.520 Yeah, four arsons in three days.

00:09:14.660 That's a lot.

00:09:15.760 Well, I think Canada has to take a look at France and England and see what's going on there,

00:09:22.480 because I think that's the track we're on. And I totally agree with your comment that we really

00:09:30.060 have to take a look. Are you guys the Jews for Palestine people?

00:09:34.400 Yes.

00:09:35.600 And how would that work with Hamas, though? Because they sort of want to exterminate the

00:09:44.440 Jews, don't they? 0.97

00:09:44.900 He's our spokesperson, right?

00:09:46.080 No, I mean, but the...

00:09:47.000 No, sir, right here.

00:09:48.180 You can see the guy.

00:09:49.260 You don't have to touch them.

00:09:51.200 Yeah.

00:09:52.360 I'll be happy to talk to you.

00:09:53.760 So why won't you let her speak? You seem like a bit of a bully. 0.96

00:09:56.860 Yeah, that's me. I'm totally a bully. 0.97

00:09:58.760 Well, you're crowding, like you're one inch away from my face.

00:10:01.100 I'm helping you with media. 0.99

00:10:02.720 No, you're super gross. You just interrupted her. You're mansplaining for her. 0.98

00:10:06.020 I was asking her questions, and you came in and mansplained.

00:10:09.700 What's your name?

00:10:11.180 It's none of your business.

00:10:12.140 I think if you're ashamed of what you're doing, so you won't even say your name, you're 0.99

00:10:16.240 pretty gross. 0.99

00:10:17.260 Gross. 1.00

00:10:17.960 You're gross. You're mansplaining over a woman. 1.00

00:10:21.440 Mansplaining over a woman.

00:10:21.780 You won't even use your own name.

00:10:23.700 I won't use my own name.

00:10:24.880 Let me ask you this. 0.97

00:10:25.760 The Hamas Charter calls for the extermination of Jews everywhere. How can you support Hamas?

00:10:31.120 I'm not answering your questions.

00:10:33.300 I think anyone who supports Hamas, by definition, hates Jews, because Hamas... 0.92

00:10:40.040 You're the only one talking about Hamas. 0.98

00:10:41.220 The Charter of Hamas calls for the extermination of all Jews.

00:10:44.320 When's the last time you read the Charter of Hamas?

00:10:46.440 A week ago?

00:10:47.760 Have you ever read it?

00:10:49.460 Fine. Get it out.

00:10:51.540 I'll do that.

00:10:52.500 Get it out.

00:10:53.060 Absolutely.

00:10:54.380 Yeah, let's see the 2018 version.

00:10:56.160 Oh, so they've changed it to the word Zionist?

00:10:59.100 Can you not spit on me? 0.82

00:10:59.760 Are you saying that you support Hamas now?

00:11:05.060 Since 2018?

00:11:06.180 Are you saying that?

00:11:06.940 We are against genocide.

00:11:10.360 Why can't you just say you're against Hamas?

00:11:12.460 Because we're not necessarily against Hamas.

00:11:15.140 You know what?

00:11:15.760 The first piece of truth I've heard from you today, sister.

00:11:19.480 There you have it.

00:11:20.160 So it's a very strange thing.

00:11:21.520 In New York City, I see this group of Orthodox Jews called the Naturaikarta.

00:11:26.000 They're paid by Iran to show up and protest.

00:11:29.880 This is even weirder.

00:11:31.820 These are Jews who literally say they support Hamas. 0.73

00:11:36.280 It's creepy.

00:11:37.640 What do you think about these Jews for Hamas? 0.87

00:11:39.120 I think it's crazy. 0.98

00:11:39.960 It is crazy.

00:11:41.460 It's actually quite sad.

00:11:43.180 What do you think?

00:11:43.620 Do you think it's a psychological thing?

00:11:44.960 Do you think it's daddy issues?

00:11:46.300 Do you think it's...

00:11:47.440 Like, it's just so weird.

00:11:49.420 It really is what Netanyahu said, chickens for KFC.

00:11:54.340 I like that.

00:11:55.560 Yeah.

00:11:56.140 That's quite good.

00:11:57.380 I'm told there's no questions allowed today.

00:11:59.900 The president of the synagogue told me that.

00:12:01.660 That seems a little weird, doesn't it?

00:12:02.780 It sure does, especially when you're with a whole bunch of Jews. 1.00

00:12:05.720 We always ask questions.

00:12:07.260 That's exactly right. 0.90

00:12:08.120 And especially when there's some bad politicians who need a bit of a spanking. 1.00

00:12:11.260 Well, I'm a bit disappointed in one of them.

00:12:14.780 Can I ask which one?

00:12:16.680 I expected more from House Father.

00:12:19.420 I really did after his elaborate speech in the House of Commons and then nothing.

00:12:26.100 We have helped build this country.

00:12:29.140 And 95% of Canadian Jews are Zionists. 0.89

00:12:33.040 Zionism means we believe that we have a right to have one Jewish state in our ancestral homeland.

00:12:40.640 Jews are indigenous to Israel. 0.97

00:12:42.860 I'm just going to see if these Jews for genocide are allowed in. 1.00

00:12:45.160 These are pro-Hamas Jews, if you can believe it. 1.00

00:12:48.340 They literally just told me that. 1.00

00:12:50.200 Pro-killers.

00:12:50.560 They just literally told me that.

00:12:52.860 As long as they're not carrying anything, they should be allowed in.

00:12:55.620 Good for you.

00:12:56.520 But I think you're right.

00:12:57.240 I think they should be searched.

00:12:59.080 Well, as long as they're not carrying anything and they're not going to spray paint anybody,

00:13:06.340 then they should be allowed to say what they have to say and we should be allowed to answer them.

00:13:10.900 Very exciting moment. 0.90

00:13:19.020 All these Jews for genocide trying to get in. 1.00

00:13:21.680 Will they be allowed in? 0.96

00:13:23.020 Will they be allowed in?

00:13:25.140 No way.

00:13:26.940 It's so easy that they're under.

00:13:28.900 Are you stopping this thing going in?

00:13:32.960 Get out of my way.

00:13:34.380 Get out of my way.

00:13:36.520 Clean my way.

00:13:38.180 Get out of my way.

00:13:38.900 Our safety is in our twine.

00:13:40.500 Jews say no to genocide.

00:13:42.780 Our safety is intertwined.

00:13:44.580 Jews say no to genocide.

00:13:46.740 Our safety is intertwined.

00:13:48.700 Get out of here.

00:13:50.100 Get out of here, you freak. 0.87

00:13:56.000 That's a good question.

00:14:01.880 Our safety is intertwined.

00:14:03.500 Jews say no to genocide.

00:14:05.880 Our safety is intertwined.

00:14:08.040 This is obstruction. This is trespassing.

00:14:10.860 Liars. Liars and liars. 1.00

00:14:13.720 RCP is intertwined. You say no to genocide. 1.00

00:14:17.880 RCP is intertwined. You say no to genocide.

00:14:22.340 RCP is intertwined. You say no to genocide.

00:14:25.760 Well, these are the pro-Hamas Jews I was talking to in the line. 0.90

00:14:30.080 They were not allowed in, so they've linked arms in front of the synagogue.

00:14:33.880 To be honest, it's not an impenetrable barrier.

00:14:36.240 You can go around them each side.

00:14:38.480 What will be interesting to me is if they're carted off.

00:14:43.300 Part of me thinks they won't be.

00:15:06.240 RCP is intertwined. 0.98

00:15:13.020 I think you can take your life.

00:15:17.920 You say no to these are our people under us. 0.99

00:15:19.980 RCP is intertwined.

00:15:20.560 You say no to these are human men.

00:15:22.920 RCP, you want bye.

00:15:25.720 Go, we don't go.

00:15:27.300 Hosey, out! Hosey, stay right there! 1.00

00:15:31.380 Our safety is going to be arrested on the press.

00:15:40.880 We understand what he's going to do.

00:15:46.840 Our safety is going to be arrested on the press.

00:15:54.880 Hold up, hold up! 0.99

00:15:57.880 Hold up, please! 0.74

00:15:59.880 Hold up! 0.98

00:16:01.880 I'm not letting anyone do it!

00:16:04.880 It's your plan to save us!

00:16:07.880 We stand out!

00:16:11.880 Go! Go! 0.96

00:16:14.880 We stand out!

00:16:16.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:18.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:19.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:20.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:38.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:39.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:40.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:41.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:42.880 Go! 0.95

00:16:43.920 Hey! 0.99

00:16:44.380 Hey! 0.99

00:16:44.880 Thank you!

00:16:45.880 Hey! 0.99

00:16:46.880 Aku!

00:16:47.880 Hey! 0.99

00:16:48.880 Naos! 1.00

00:16:49.880 Anän okayer.

00:16:50.880 We can get up on our own or adjuster to even

00:16:52.880 the collective power.

00:16:53.880 You're done?

00:16:54.880 We're done.

00:16:55.880 We're going to help ya.

00:16:56.880 We're not dragging a Ngoc'at. 1.00

00:16:57.880 Right now.

00:16:58.880 Up you go.

00:16:59.880 It doesn't matter, they don't want you here.

00:17:08.880 They have the right to refuse your entry.

00:17:10.880 Really?

00:17:11.880 On what basis?

00:17:13.880 We are literally here with members of this congregation.

00:17:20.880 Why is it that you can't go in if anyone could go in?

00:17:28.880 It's their property to the right to refuse entry.

00:17:34.880 I've told you, you don't want it.

00:17:36.880 You don't have to listen.

00:17:37.880 What's with the South African flag?

00:17:47.880 Why do you have the South African flag?

00:17:50.880 Do you speak English?

00:17:52.880 You don't speak English?

00:17:54.880 Do you know where you are?

00:17:56.880 You don't know where you are?

00:17:57.880 You're at a Jewish synagogue.

00:17:59.880 Really?

00:18:00.880 Yeah, so why do you have a South African flag?

00:18:03.880 Oh, you should know why I have a South African flag.

00:18:06.880 I don't know.

00:18:07.880 Please tell me.

00:18:08.880 Okay, well then I don't know either.

00:18:09.880 Go find out.

00:18:10.880 Google.

00:18:11.880 Well, I think that you're like a lot of these other folks, you really don't know what you're

00:18:16.880 doing.

00:18:17.880 I don't think you're very articulate.

00:18:18.880 No comment.

00:18:19.880 Oh, she's very articulate.

00:18:20.880 I don't see it.

00:18:24.880 We don't talk to rebel, okay?

00:18:26.880 Bull . 0.95

00:18:27.880 We don't talk to you. 0.61

00:18:28.880 What about the rapes of all the Palestinian detainees?

00:18:30.880 How about you tell us about that?

00:18:31.880 How do you feel about that?

00:18:32.880 What's your name?

00:18:33.880 What's your name?

00:18:34.880 I feel about Muslims. 0.79

00:18:35.880 Are you part of the Jews for Genocide? 0.93

00:18:39.880 I asked you a question.

00:18:40.880 Are you going to respond?

00:18:41.880 Would you storm this synagogue if you could? 0.94

00:18:43.880 How do you feel about Muslims? 0.95

00:18:44.880 Would you storm this synagogue if you could? 0.98

00:18:46.880 You got nothing to say, right? 1.00

00:18:47.880 Just stupid questions you got to ask. 1.00

00:18:49.880 I'm wondering what you're doing. 1.00

00:18:50.880 I'm wondering what you're doing.

00:18:51.880 I'm reporting on an anti-Semitic march.

00:18:54.880 Okay, so anti-Semitic, right?

00:18:55.880 You like to conflate Muslims with anti-Semitism. 0.86

00:18:57.880 No, just Hamas supporters like you. 0.85

00:18:59.880 Tell me how you feel.

00:19:00.880 Oh, like me, right?

00:19:01.880 Are you a Hamas supporter?

00:19:02.880 Well, tell me right now.

00:19:03.880 Do you renounce Hamas or not? 0.88

00:19:04.880 I never will renounce Hamas. 1.00

00:19:06.880 So there you go. 1.00

00:19:07.880 You're an anti-Semitic bigot. 0.99

00:19:08.880 All right, perfect then. 0.99

00:19:09.880 Are you a Canadian citizen?

00:19:10.880 Doesn't matter, baby. 0.85

00:19:11.880 I think you should be deported if you're not.

00:19:13.880 Try and deport me.

00:19:14.880 Well, I don't have that power myself.

00:19:16.880 Go back to Daddy. 0.97

00:19:17.880 Go back to Daddy Warbucks. 0.89

00:19:18.880 When do you care about Jews? 1.00

00:19:20.880 Well, I'm Jewish myself.

00:19:22.880 But what's your name and why are you here?

00:19:24.880 Ask Leviathan.

00:19:25.880 He knows my name, everything he knows.

00:19:27.880 Why don't you interview that old guy?

00:19:30.880 They won't let him talk.

00:19:31.880 They won't let him talk.

00:19:32.880 Why are they afraid to let that guy talk?

00:19:34.880 You seem pretty chatty.

00:19:35.880 What's your deal?

00:19:37.880 I'm one of this group.

00:19:39.880 And why?

00:19:41.880 I've known for decades what Israel is doing to the Palestinians.

00:19:51.880 Israel is a Jewish supremacy state. 0.96

00:19:54.880 And as a Jewish supremacy state, no, it doesn't have a right to exist. 0.98

00:19:59.880 If it were a democratic state, which included all the people under its control, yes, it would be fine.

00:20:08.880 But Arabs and Muslims and Christians all have the vote in Israel.

00:20:10.880 There's even Arabs on the Supreme Court, Arabs in the parliament.

00:20:13.880 Have you ever been there?

00:20:14.880 Yes, I have.

00:20:15.880 And you know what?

00:20:16.880 They can vote.

00:20:17.880 What they cannot vote for by law is a party that does not recognize Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.

00:20:26.880 That's not true.

00:20:27.880 There's extremely hostile parties in the Knesset right now.

00:20:30.880 They may be hostile, but they are forbidden by law to deny Israel's existence as a Jewish.

00:20:36.880 Well, they break that law all the time.

00:20:39.880 I don't think I have anything more to say to you.

00:20:42.880 The two years you're about to face in prison when you get actually charged with your truck.

00:20:46.880 With what?

00:20:47.880 Super racist.

00:20:48.880 With a truck that you actually put up out there with the one that you own.

00:20:51.880 And what do you think is wrong with the truck?

00:20:53.880 And that you're facing two years of imprisonment.

00:20:55.880 Well, I find out what's going to happen to me in the truck.

00:20:57.880 We'll find out.

00:20:58.880 We'll find out.

00:20:59.880 Do you like the truck?

00:21:00.880 What about the truck?

00:21:01.880 Do you like it?

00:21:02.880 Why would I like it when it's all about hate and it's a target in Islamophobia?

00:21:06.880 Like what was on it that you didn't like? 1.00

00:21:09.880 Why would I have to give in to your ass? 1.00

00:21:11.880 I don't think you know. 1.00

00:21:12.880 I was there.

00:21:13.880 I saw it.

00:21:14.880 What did you see?

00:21:15.880 I saw that you guys were targeting Islamophobia.

00:21:17.880 Wait, just tell me what you saw.

00:21:18.880 I don't think you actually saw it.

00:21:19.880 I was there.

00:21:20.880 You were where?

00:21:21.880 Yeah.

00:21:22.880 What about it?

00:21:23.880 Where?

00:21:24.880 You were where?

00:21:25.880 What are you even talking about?

00:21:26.880 What do I do with these questions? 1.00

00:21:27.880 I think you're just so stupid. 1.00

00:21:28.880 I want to say, well, I appreciate that. 1.00

00:21:29.880 It was all fun and games.

00:21:30.880 And the Jews for genocide sat in front of the and made a barrier and police cleared them

00:21:36.880 away very quickly. 0.71

00:21:37.880 And they were sort of harmless.

00:21:39.880 But things have changed in the last 15 minutes.

00:21:42.880 The hardcore pro Hamas migrants, people who have come to Canada, you can hear in their 0.99

00:21:49.880 accent.

00:21:50.880 They're not Canadian. 0.99

00:21:51.880 They're not pretending to be Jews. 0.84

00:21:53.880 These are Hamas supporters. 0.89

00:21:54.880 In fact, I asked one guy, will he renounce Hamas?

00:21:57.880 He said, never.

00:21:58.880 Take a look.

00:21:59.880 Are you a Hamas supporter?

00:22:00.880 Well, tell me right now, do you renounce Hamas or not? 0.98

00:22:02.880 I never will renounce Hamas. 1.00

00:22:04.880 And here's my point.

00:22:05.880 I was mocking earlier all the police cars that were here.

00:22:09.880 I was saying the police cars are here for the politicians.

00:22:11.880 They'll be gone tomorrow and the other 364 days a year when the Jews are unguarded. 1.00

00:22:16.880 But I now realize why.

00:22:18.880 There are people here.

00:22:20.880 There are pro Hamas protesters here. 0.99

00:22:23.880 If the police were not here, and if they could, they would kill the Jews in this room. 1.00

00:22:31.880 I'm not talking about those lame Jews for genocide. 1.00

00:22:34.880 It's just the daddy issues crew. 1.00

00:22:36.880 They're weird. 0.99

00:22:37.880 And in a way that's very Jewish to be that neurotic. 1.00

00:22:40.880 And you gotta, you're working, it's like Woody Allen, you're working out some issues. 0.78

00:22:44.880 I'm not talking about them.

00:22:45.880 I'm talking about the Hamas activists, the blatant terrorist supporters, many of them from 0.89

00:22:52.880 foreign lands who have scoped out this place.

00:22:55.880 And if the cops weren't here, would be committing mayhem right now.

00:23:00.880 This is what solidarity looks like.

00:23:04.880 And that's why I am here.

00:23:06.880 To stand in solidarity with you, with the quiet Israel population, and your Toronto's Jewish community.

00:23:13.880 With the dangerous minds of anti-sepotism in our city, people are once again worried about being targeted for being Jewish.

00:23:23.880 I ask you to please join me in welcoming Yara Sachs to share our thoughts.

00:23:34.880 Once again, I'm asking you to rise above it, put your sides down, or leave the room.

00:23:44.880 Are you proud to shake Mahmoud Abbas hand?

00:23:55.880 Why did they take you out?

00:24:23.880 Why did they take you out?

00:24:25.880 They didn't take me out.

00:24:26.880 I came out.

00:24:27.880 No, no.

00:24:28.880 We have eyes.

00:24:29.880 May I say?

00:24:31.880 You ask a question, may I ask?

00:24:34.880 NPR Sachs were delivering a speech.

00:24:37.880 I was recording.

00:24:38.880 The guy said I don't deliver a speech.

00:24:39.880 I came out.

00:24:40.880 Then the police officer aggressively mistaking me with the other people.

00:24:44.880 Well, the weird thing about this town hall is it wasn't much of a town hall.

00:24:48.880 Town halls typically have a question and answer session.

00:24:51.880 Maybe you even grill a politician.

00:24:53.880 There were so many politicians, but you weren't allowed to ask them anything.

00:24:56.880 You weren't even allowed to heckle them.

00:24:59.880 Joining me now are two people who did not follow the advice, and they were sternly ejected.

00:25:04.880 I'm talking about Daniel Boardman and Salman Sima.

00:25:06.880 Great to see you guys.

00:25:07.880 Thank you, Ezra.

00:25:09.880 Now, why did you heckle? 0.78

00:25:12.880 I didn't heckle.

00:25:13.880 I was just sitting and recording.

00:25:17.880 Credit goes to Daniel for holding Yara Sachs accountable.

00:25:22.880 And as you know, with the fight that I had in Iran, I have some feeling.

00:25:29.880 I had some experience.

00:25:30.880 I saw that the security and the organizer are targeting Daniel.

00:25:35.880 OK?

00:25:36.880 This past November, while at the Washington, D.C. rally with my colleague and Nihau's father.

00:25:41.880 Don't put my phone.

00:25:42.880 Don't touch me.

00:25:43.880 You're out. 0.54

00:25:44.880 Don't touch me. 0.96

00:25:45.880 You're out.

00:25:46.880 What do I do?

00:25:47.880 No forming insights.

00:25:48.880 Let's go.

00:25:49.880 It's a public thing.

00:25:50.880 Take him out as well.

00:25:51.880 I said that you go after my friends.

00:25:54.880 No.

00:25:55.880 I'm going to record everything on the video.

00:25:58.880 They try to silence Daniel and I take it on the camera.

00:26:02.880 Got it.

00:26:03.880 Thank you.

00:26:04.880 So, Daniel, I think we share the same point of view about Yara Sachs.

00:26:07.880 I think we were both extremely skeptical of her.

00:26:10.880 What was it about her speech that set you off today?

00:26:13.880 Well, I mean, everyone booed before a speech.

00:26:15.880 I mean, to say that any of these people are making speeches, a lot of them are just,

00:26:19.880 they're looking down at a piece of paper and hate has no place here.

00:26:23.880 Sky is blue. 1.00

00:26:24.880 Killing Jews is bad. 1.00

00:26:25.880 Islamophobia, also bad. 1.00

00:26:27.880 You know, breathe out carbon dioxide and oxygen.

00:26:30.880 That's what it was.

00:26:31.880 Well, it's almost 1030 at night and finally the meeting has come to an end.

00:26:35.880 I tell you, politicians, they'll talk your ear off.

00:26:38.880 We've been here for about five hours.

00:26:39.880 It was very interesting.

00:26:40.880 First of all, the truck was a hero of the evening.

00:26:44.880 And as you can see at nighttime, I know it's a little bit, it flares a little bit on camera

00:26:49.880 when you film something like this at night.

00:26:51.880 But let me tell you, it is brilliantly bright at night.

00:26:54.880 And the truck really shows its power in the evening.

00:26:57.880 Lots of people reading the truck, taking pictures in front of the truck,

00:27:01.880 hopefully signing the petitions on the truck.

00:27:03.880 I feel great about it.

00:27:04.880 The senior officer who was commanding the troops here today,

00:27:08.880 he must have taken 20 photos of our fire the chief petition to fire the chief of police.

00:27:15.880 I'm not afraid.

00:27:16.880 In fact, I encouraged him to sign it.

00:27:18.880 I'm not giving you an interviewer statement.

00:27:20.880 I'm not asking for one.

00:27:22.880 I'm telling you, there's three other petitions on there you can sign in good conscience.

00:27:26.880 No, I cannot.

00:27:27.880 You can surprise so many cops, support Rebel News. 0.71

00:27:30.880 But getting back to the town hall itself, I've been to a hundred town halls in my life,

00:27:38.880 and typically they have speeches but a Q&A session.

00:27:40.880 Town halls are for people in the town to hear the news but give feedback,

00:27:45.880 to give an audience attitude adjustment to politicians.

00:27:49.880 That did not happen tonight.

00:27:51.880 No one was allowed to ask a question.

00:27:53.880 If anyone even booed, they were shamed immediately.

00:27:56.880 And there were a couple of times when heckles were presented and security kicked out people who were heckling.

00:28:06.880 And I don't know.

00:28:08.880 It just felt like these politicians were so brittle that they couldn't stand any feedback.

00:28:14.880 I am interested in what politicians have to say, but I can hear what a politician has to say anytime,

00:28:20.880 by going to their YouTube channel or their Twitter feed or whatever.

00:28:23.880 But when was the last time politicians had to listen to the grassroots?

00:28:27.880 And to be criticized, I think that pretty much every single politician in that town hall tonight deserves criticism,

00:28:36.880 because obviously they have failed.

00:28:39.880 There's a regular crime wave across Canada, but there's also an anti-Semitic crime wave.

00:28:45.880 Like I said on the show that I recorded today, four arson attacks in three days.

00:28:51.880 Every single person in that room who holds public office has some responsibility for that.

00:28:56.880 But none of us were able to criticize, not even with the media.

00:29:01.880 It's bizarre how they said we couldn't record.

00:29:06.880 It was remarkable how much booing Ya'ara Sacks got.

00:29:10.880 It was just astonishing.

00:29:11.880 I want to show you a little bit of that.

00:29:13.880 Join me in welcoming Ya'ara Sacks to share your thoughts.

00:29:16.880 Thank you, Michellev.

00:29:17.880 Thank you.

00:29:18.880 Thank you.

00:29:19.880 Thank you, 모습.

00:29:20.880 Thank you, .

00:29:21.880 osis.

00:29:23.880 Thank you,透明.

00:29:24.880 One is the audience Alles月 Goods, Virginia.

00:29:26.880 Thank you.

00:29:27.880 Thank you.

00:29:28.880 Thank you, Michellev.

00:29:29.880 Thank you.

00:29:31.880 I'm glad to thank you.

00:29:33.880 Thank you, Steve.

00:29:34.880 I've nothing but I want to sing loads ofressions in the app.

00:29:41.880 And thanks to you for joining me.

00:29:43.880 Thank you, Stephen. Thank you to the pride of Israel community and thank you to the Jewish community for having me and all elected officials here this evening. It's important that we're here together.

00:29:57.880 And it's not lost on me for two years. This was my grandfather's school. My son used to come here every morning and to embrace one another so that we can move through this from the darkness towards the light. Thank you.

00:30:27.880 When she continued her speech after that initial round of boos, I honestly thought she was going to cry. And by the way, she is an awful, awful speechwriter, speech giver. 1.00

00:30:40.880 Then again, you already knew that she's the lady who stood up in Parliament and said honk honk was code for Heil Hitler. Remember that? 0.59

00:30:48.360 How much vitriol do we have to see of honk honk, which is an acronym for Heil Hitler?

00:30:53.940 Well, the evening comes to a close. The police are dissipating. There's still probably a dozen police or security here, but all the VIPs have gone home.

00:31:03.280 And so the synagogue, again, is undefended. Yeah, there's some surveillance cameras, but do you doubt it'll be firebombed or windows broken and smashed again?

00:31:13.440 Of course it will be because we haven't dealt with the underlying issue.

00:31:17.020 And not just that, we have normalized anti-Semitic violence, low-level violence. There's been no murders in Canada yet, thank God.

00:31:25.880 But this low-level vandalism, mischief, trespass, uttering threats, arson, it's happening literally every day.

00:31:32.640 And those are just the ones we know about.

00:31:34.320 I think that the fact that there was such a massive police presence tonight, metal detectors, police, private security, and it's all gone now, and the synagogue and the community remains unprotected, that's really the moral of the story, is that the powerful people, well, they'll be taken care of.

00:31:51.720 Don't you worry about it. Those politicians, they won't have arson on their lawns.

00:31:56.920 But for the rest of us, not just Jews, but Canadians, we've got to tough it out.

00:32:02.380 Oh, and by the way, thousands more migrants coming from Gaza.

00:33:00.340 I'm going to go to bed, and I'll be back in the office in the morning.

00:33:03.300 On behalf of all of us at Rebel News, to you at home, good night, and keep fighting for freedom.

00:33:07.560 We'll be back in the morning.
