AstroLeVant returns home from a whirlwind trip to the UK and talks about the dangers of mass immigration and radical Islam in our own streets, and the impact it's having on our own society. He also points to the growing problem of Islamophobia in Canada and other Western countries.
00:08:01.600I mean, there was actually no difference between the Conservatives and the Liberals on immigration
00:08:07.100going back probably half a dozen elections. And that's because whatever the Liberals would
00:08:11.160say, Conservatives would automatically say, yeah, we're for the same thing. They would
00:08:15.420do anything rather than be called racist. Now, these issues travel together in packs.
00:08:21.240Freedom of speech, mass immigration, radical Islam, crime, including sexual assault. We've
00:08:26.660had mass immigration before to North America. Never on this scale, of course. But when it's
00:08:32.080the 1900s and you're bringing to Canada tens of thousands of farmers from Ukraine to help settle
00:08:40.060the prairies, or even New York City's story of bringing in the Irish and the Italians and the Jews
00:08:45.960by the hundreds of thousands, of course you're going to have challenges with mass immigration.
00:08:49.960Of course, that's for sure. But it's not going to be like this. I mean, the West and Christianity
00:08:54.700is being replaced by Islam. I'm not talking about New York and London now. I'm talking about
00:09:00.420Alexandria in Egypt or Constantinople. Those were once mighty Christian cities, but not now. I mean,
00:09:09.260Constantinople is called Istanbul. The Great Hagia Sophia Church is now a mosque. That was through
00:09:16.340invasion, not invitation, which we have in Canada and across the West. So anyways, I'm in the UK,
00:09:22.580and these days, there are protests every single weekend, and in fact, almost every day against
00:09:29.220these things. Mass immigration, Islam in the public square, sexual assaults coming from migrant hotels.
00:09:35.120And instead of dealing with the underlying issue, the core issue, the root cause, as leftists like to
00:09:41.320say, the government is dealing with the secondary effects, the reactions and responses. Stop the
00:09:47.140protests. Stop criticism on social media. They're not focused on fixing the problem.
00:09:52.580Foreign migrants crossing over in little dinghies from France illegally, throwing their ID into the
00:09:58.700sea, living in these posh hotels, some of the four-star hotels, everything paid for, and then
00:10:04.480taking advantage of the high-trust society to rape their way through the UK. I mean, the statistics in
00:10:10.760the UK are shocking. But instead of dealing with the underlying issue, the government there is dealing
00:10:16.200with the reactions to the issue. You can see this a few months ago when a woman named Lucy Connolly,
00:10:23.200who was the wife of a politician, made a tweet about migrant hotels. It was over the top, but she took
00:10:30.260it down quite quickly. 31 months in prison for that tweet. Or the other day at Canary Wharf, a fancy
00:10:36.440area of London, there were people protesting against a four-star migrant hotel. Police simply issued a notice
00:10:44.280banning protests for a month. Just a police order. No court involved. Just, hey, no more protests in here. It's quite something.
00:10:51.280Okay. There's a section 42. Section 42 in place of the 2001. You're causing distress alarm to the resident of this hotel. Yeah? You have to leave now and not return within 28 days to this area. If you don't
00:10:58.280you will be arrested. Okay? So you're telling me that we're not allowed to come back and protest for...
00:11:05.280you have to leave now and not return within 28 days to this area. If you don't, you will
00:11:23.240be arrested. Okay? So you're telling me that we're not allowed to come back and protest
00:11:27.240for 28 days because you're causing distress to the resident of this hotel. If you don't
00:11:32.960comply with that, you will be arrested. Which all brings me to Tommy Robinson's new charges. Now
00:11:43.120you'll remember I went to London because my friend Tommy Robinson, who's a key activist in all the
00:11:47.920issues I was just describing, he was in a train station. Someone identified him and came to beat
00:11:53.480him up. Tommy shouted at him to back off. He didn't. At the last moment, Tommy punched the bad guy who
00:11:59.120went down like a sack of potatoes. Tommy immediately called the police to let them know what
00:12:03.100happened. Tommy's lawyer called the police the next day. Tommy went back. He was abroad. He had a
00:12:09.220business trip abroad, but he came back early to be interviewed by police. And luckily, the surveillance
00:12:14.640footage in that train station showed exactly what Tommy had said, that this man made a beeline for
00:12:20.520Tommy, threatened him. Tommy retreated. The man proceeded. So knock on wood, there have been no
00:12:27.340charges laid and Tommy was not jailed. He was bailed that night. So that's what I went there for because
00:12:33.940I didn't think he would be bailed. And I wanted to cover the court case as I often do. At 1 a.m.
00:12:40.120after interviewing him for hours, the police said, okay, we're not going to charge you, at least not
00:12:44.880for now, on that subway incident. But here's what's incredible. And I didn't know this until I met Tommy
00:12:52.540for my interview with him. At 1 a.m., the cops said he was free to go on the subway fight. But for the
00:13:00.420next two hours, seriously, from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. at the police station with the lawyer there, the police
00:13:06.860talked to him about three tweets that he made, one of them more than a year old. Now, this is the first
00:13:14.700one, and it's still on the internet. I'm going to read it to you. Kobe Nazrul Primary School, that's the
00:13:21.400name of the school, in London's East End, has been named as the first in the UK where none of the
00:13:27.660children's first language is English. The school sits in a quiet side street off the busy commercial
00:13:32.940road in Whitechapel, a district once synonymous with Jack the Ripper and the Cray twins, and home
00:13:38.840to the nation's true cockneys. Now this. That's an interesting story. Imagine a school where not a
00:13:46.580single child is British. They're, and they're not even, you know, children of immigrants. These kids
00:13:53.620are all foreigners themselves. English is their second language, an entire school.
00:14:01.340But the police argued with him for two hours. Have you heard my interview with Tommy yesterday?
00:14:06.840One of the things that they said to Tommy that was racist about this was Tommy was denying that these
00:14:13.180kids from Bangladesh or wherever could be cockney. You know what cockney is? It's a working class.
00:14:20.120It's, it's a, it's a culture. It's also a way of speaking. Like Michael Caine would do a cockney way.
00:14:26.520It was, it was in the UK. They have so many different accents. It is a, it is rooted in a certain
00:14:32.300geography and class. And you can't just say I'm converting to cockney or I'm moving to East London.
00:14:38.800I'm cockney now. It's, it would be like saying you're pure lane Quebecois. You can move to Quebec,
00:14:45.440but you either are or aren't a Quebecois. The police were arguing with Tommy saying it was racist for him
00:14:51.940to insinuate that these children from Pakistan or wherever were not cockney. Just unbelievable.
00:14:59.780And then this one, um, he took the same tweet and he just added the word, shh, we are supposed to
00:15:06.580celebrate this diversity. So he just took his first tweet and added, we're supposed to celebrate
00:15:11.060this diversity. Police said that that was a crime to say that. And then this one, now this is offensive
00:15:17.200to be sure, but is it a crime, an actual crime? You'll see Tommy just retweeted an image from
00:15:24.600some guy who made it. If it is a crime to say F Palestine, is it also a crime to say F Israel
00:15:32.320or F Zionism or F the Jews? Cause that's happening an awful lot these days online and in real life.
00:15:41.720I haven't seen any arrests of anyone calling for death to the Jews in Canada or the UK. Have you,
00:15:47.840let alone just F them? That last one was tweeted by Tommy in May of 2024 and police have been holding
00:15:56.120onto it and they're now proceeding against him. And they're calling these crimes, those documents I took
00:16:01.900pictures of, those were, those were the sort of the charge sheet that Tommy received at the police
00:16:07.040station. They grilled him about these with his lawyers for two hours on Monday night from 1am to
00:16:12.4403am. Now we're not there yet. Canada is not quite there yet, but I have to say it feels like we're
00:16:19.540just a few minutes behind. As you know, we had something called the Online Harms Act. And the only
00:16:25.400reason it's not law right now is because Justin Trudeau prorogued parliament in January or December so he
00:16:31.100could get out of a possible non-confidence vote. In the UK, the new censorship law is called the Online Safety
00:16:37.840Act, very similar to what I just described here in Canada. Online Safety Act, Online Harms Act, really it's
00:16:46.920global censorship. And they are effectively criminalizing criticism of those issues we talked about before,
00:16:54.440Islamism, radical Islam, even criticizing any form of Islam, talking about mass immigration.
00:17:01.440Police are acting as if those blasphemy laws are already in place.
00:17:05.820But it's one layer worse. And again, I'm not sure if you watched my interview last night with Tommy,
00:17:09.520but he said that the school story he quoted was basically word for word from a story published in
00:17:16.020the Daily Mail, which is a huge newspaper over there. I think it actually has the largest readership
00:17:21.360just by sheer numbers in the UK. Tommy asked the police, how could it be a crime for him to tweet
00:17:28.760those words, but not for the Daily Mail itself? And they actually said to him, because they were
00:17:35.440licensed journalists and he's not. That is what they said to him. So yeah, Tommy beating the rat for his
00:17:43.220subway incident. That's why I went to the UK to see if he could stay out of jail. But him being pursued by
00:17:50.260real police with real guns. Actually, I don't have, I think they have guns in the UK for publishing
00:17:55.500tweets. That is not what I expected, but that's absolutely what I was there to talk about. Hey,
00:18:03.520by the way, I don't know if you heard my announcement. We are taking a whole team of Canadians and others
00:18:09.200to London for Tommy's big free speech rally on September 13th. That's a Saturday. I'm going to be a
00:18:15.320speaker there. But I thought, well, why don't we invite Canadians to come with us? And why don't
00:18:20.180we have a nice dinner with Tommy a couple of nights in advance of that? Just our team, you know, have a
00:18:26.220nice meal and Tommy can talk to us and take selfies or whatever. And then I thought, well, why don't I
00:18:30.680build a little conference around that? And I've recruited politicians and journalists and activists.
00:18:35.780So if you are interested by the United Kingdom, by Tommy Robinson, by censorship, by what's going on over
00:18:42.440there, consider coming. Now it's not cheap. You got to fly to London. Hotels in London are very
00:18:48.140expensive. We're renting a tour bus because we're going to take one day and we're going to go into
00:18:53.160the country and see that it's not just London there. There's other parts to it, but it's going
00:18:57.740to be, and on Saturday, of course, we're going to go to the big rally. If that's your kind of thing.
00:19:01.780And if you have a budget that can handle it, because it's not cheap, I got to say, it's actually the
00:19:06.000most expensive trip Rebel News has ever done. You should come because it's going to be the trip of a
00:19:10.660lifetime. It's going to be amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if Tommy's rally on September 13th
00:19:15.760has a hundred thousand people. Tommy is, that was actually what I was worried about is this whole
00:19:21.520subway thing would have got him thrown in jail for his rally. So if you find these stories
00:19:26.740interesting, if you think the lessons learned in the UK are important for us here in Canada,
00:19:30.840why not come with me? And by the way, Alexa Lavoie and Avi Yamini are coming too. So you'll have a
00:19:36.180chance to hang out with me, Alexa and Avi. Go to freespeechmission.com to learn more. It's not
00:19:43.580for everyone. It's, you know, it's a five-day thing. I don't, not everyone can take that time off
00:19:47.580and it's expensive because you got to get to London and then there's a hotels and meals,
00:19:51.300but I think it's going to be amazing. All right. Well, I'm back in Canada.
00:19:55.440My friend David Menzies prepared these comments.
00:20:06.180Hey folks, great news report regarding the war on wokeism, which is to say team normal just notched
00:20:15.800another big win against the barbarians who comprise the cancel culture mobs. And to think
00:20:21.560it all centered on an ad campaign launched by American Eagle Outfitters Inc featuring actress
00:20:28.740producer Sydney Sweeney promoting denim jeans. Did you know that Sydney Sweeney will be
00:20:36.060producing and starring in the upcoming Barbarella reboot? Oh, please, please, Sydney. I beg of
00:20:43.060you. Don't delete the excessive machine scene from the 1968 original. Anyway, there's nothing new
00:20:52.080about blonde bombshells being recruited to move the merchandise from Marilyn Monroe endorsing luster
00:20:58.940cream shampoo back in the fifties to Anna Nicole Smith serving as the guest jeans girl in 1992.
00:21:05.940Sex sells as the old adage goes. But that was then. And this is now. Alas, in these awful
00:21:13.820woke times in which we reside, the American Eagle campaign featuring Sydney Sweeney triggered
00:21:21.200the lunatic fringe big time for preposterous reasons. And the microaggressions they suffered
00:21:28.940had almost everything to do with a line of ad copy which read, Sydney Sweeney has great genes. That's
00:21:38.940meant to be a clever play on words. Of course, you know, genes with a J replacing genes with a G.
00:21:45.820And that's the thing when it comes to the real world. Some people have good genes with a G.
00:21:53.700And some do not. Yeah, it's unfair, I suppose, but that's the nature of things. And as much as I'd love
00:22:02.680to be the starting center for the Toronto Raptors, I just don't have what it takes gene-wise. And besides,
00:22:10.760white men can't jump. Speaking of whiteness, this was another reason that the woke left lost their
00:22:19.700collective minds regarding the American Eagle campaign. And yes, I speak of those due rigueur,
00:22:26.680obese, blue-haired cat ladies whose only workout comes via pounding out tweets of outrage via their
00:22:34.580laptops. Sydney Sweeney is many things. But the fact that she's Caucasian makes the American Eagle ad
00:22:43.280racist, you see. To the woke mob, the posters depicting Sydney in denim was clearly channeling
00:22:52.680white supremacy and even Nazi-inspired eugenics. And the fact that Sydney is also cursed with big,
00:23:01.840beautiful blue eyes. Well, that pretty much makes her the poster child for the Aryan race,
00:23:08.720doesn't it now? But that's the thing about this manufactured controversy. If American Eagle had
00:23:15.520used a beautiful black or Hispanic or Asian model for its poster campaign and used the exact same copy,
00:23:25.600nobody would have said anything. In fact, it would have likely been praised for its diversity.
00:23:31.840But white is not right when it comes to the loony left, even the Caucasian members of the loony
00:23:39.140left. And so the ad was slammed as being racist, even though when you think this through, it is Sweeney's
00:23:47.380critics who are the racists for attacking her based on skin color. Now, it's important to note that it was
00:23:55.740really only the lunatic fringe that was losing their collective marbles over this, you know, those sad
00:24:01.960soy-fueled psychos who seemingly exist to be offended by imaginary microaggressions. And naturally,
00:24:10.040mainstream, lamestream media was only too happy to provide a sounding board. Now, at this point,
00:24:17.280I want to quote some excerpts from the UK's Guardian newspaper. The Guardian story was typical of how
00:24:25.740the left-wing media covered this story. The headline reads, quote, born in the USA, is American Eagle
00:24:33.560really using whiteness to sell chains? End quote. You know, the truly remarkable thing about that headline,
00:24:41.240folks, given the Guardian's reputation, is that it is presented in the form of a question rather than
00:24:49.140a statement of fact. Oh, by the way, the accompanying sidebar story is headlined, quote, the invention of
00:24:56.320whiteness, the long history of a dangerous idea. End quote. Hey, my fellow honkies and crackers, did you
00:25:06.100know you were invented and that you're dangerous? The Guardian story quotes Sophie Gilbert, a staff
00:25:14.740writer at The Atlantic and author of Girl on Girl, a book which explores how pop culture is shaped by
00:25:23.260misogyny, which is really odd. Given that, and please, folks, don't ask me how I know this, but the term
00:25:31.560girl on girl actually refers to a genre of pornography, but never mind. Gilbert states the
00:25:39.280following, quote, the slogan Sidney Sweeney has good genes obviously winks at the obsession with
00:25:47.280eugenics that is so prevalent among the modern right. End quote. Got that? Oh, I know you thought being a
00:25:56.240conservative was all about embracing an ideology that seeks to promote and preserve
00:26:01.300traditional institutions and customs and values, you know, like the benefits of a nuclear family.
00:26:08.340Who knew that part of the hidden agenda of conservatives was pining for the good old days
00:26:15.240when the KKK carried out lynching and the idea of eugenics was actually a thing. At this point,
00:26:24.380it's fact check time, folks. The left seems to be obsessed with eugenics. But did you know that
00:26:31.140former NDP leader and the man credited for socialized medicine in Canada, Tommy Douglas,
00:26:37.620was a huge proponent of eugenics? According to the Canadian Encyclopedia, Douglas in 1933 received a
00:26:46.220master of arts and sociology from McMaster University for his thesis, the problems of the subnormal
00:26:54.840family. In the thesis, Douglas recommended several eugenic policies, including the sterilization of mental
00:27:05.400defectives and those incurably diseased. Gee, now that I think of it, maybe Douglas was simply ahead of the
00:27:14.040curve, given that our own current liberal government loves the idea of medical assistance in dying.
00:27:21.280Oh, and Douglas was also a supporter of segregation. And yet, in our great dominion, we have statues of
00:27:28.540Tommy Douglas. We have schools named after Tommy Douglas. And in 2004, Tommy Douglas was voted as the
00:27:35.800greatest Canadian of all time as part of a CBC TV series. Go figure. Moving on, The Guardian quotes Dr. Sarah
00:27:47.200Sefi, a senior lecturer in gender and cultural studies at Goldsmiths University of London. Dr. Sefi
00:27:56.500naturally agrees with Gilbert, quote, honestly, what were they thinking that a white supremacist fantasy
00:28:04.460has permission to be aired so conspicuously, end quote. But as they used to say on those Ronco ads,
00:28:14.320but wait, there's more. The Guardian trots out Aria Halliday. She's an associate professor in gender
00:28:21.720and women's studies, African-American and Africana studies, and author of By Black, How Black Women
00:28:30.220transformed US pop culture. Here's what Halliday says, quote, in recent years, we have seen an influx of media
00:28:39.000reasserting the beauty of thin, white, blonde and blue eyed people, with many brands invested in representing
00:28:47.820the wholesomeness and sanctity of conservative white values, end quote. Oh, no, you mean not only whiteness, but
00:40:20.720Again, I repeat, the attack on women is a result of toxic femininity, not masculinity.
00:40:28.880And by the way, whatever happened to Mama Bear?
00:40:31.640Also, I know some might find the following to be offside, but since the so-called experts quoted in the Guardian article have no problem whatsoever body shaming Sidney Sweeney for being beautiful and have no issue with slandering her for suggesting that she's a white supremacist.
00:40:54.640Well, then, in the department of what's good for the gander is good for the goose, let's take inventory of Sweeney's critic, shall we?
00:41:23.160Oh, don't you dare call me the hater here, folks, because it is these mean girls and so many more that are beating up on Sidney Sweeney, all because she's gorgeous and white and has a really great rack.
00:42:49.840But there is a line between voluptuous and morbid obesity.
00:42:53.860Which is to say, if Tess Holiday does not do something about her weight, she will experience a shorter lifespan, and her existence will be punctuated with ailments ranging from diabetes to cardiac arrest.
00:43:10.820I would strongly argue a little bit of body shaming directed at Tess Holiday.
00:43:17.880That would make for a life-saving intervention, don't you think?
00:43:24.320Nevertheless, in the aftermath of the loony left freaking out about the American Eagle jeans campaign, I braced myself for what I thought would be the inevitable.
00:43:36.080You know, American Eagle announcing it would discontinue the ad campaign, and the company issuing a groveling apology.
00:43:44.040And American Eagle announcing that, moving forward, its models would no longer resemble Sexy Alexei, but rather Large Marge.
00:43:54.040And, of course, that American Eagle would immediately hire a consultant to implement a diversity, equity, and inclusion program in the company.
00:46:47.860You know, the other day, I specifically went out of my way to visit the American Eagle store at the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, Ontario.
00:47:07.720This was the first time I had shopped at American Eagle.
00:47:10.760It won't be the last time, because I want to support those corporations that are taking a stance against madness.
00:47:20.320I suspect there are millions who think likewise, hence the surging stock value.
00:47:27.060And if you were to believe the garbage being spewed by the mainstream media, you would think that an American Eagle store would resemble a Ku Klux Klan clubhouse.
00:47:39.560Nothing could be further from the truth.
00:47:42.240Now, if anything, the aftermath of the American Eagle non-controversy is really the polar opposite of the Bud Light fiasco from two years ago.
00:48:02.920That's when Dylan Mulvaney, who identifies as some sort of a trans woman, was recruited as the brand ambassador for Bud Light.
00:53:05.200And folks, clearly, some companies are getting the message, and those are the companies moving forward, and that will prosper in the future.
00:54:21.920I feel more hope in the last month than I have actually ever in the U.K., because I see organic, authentic, grassroots movements of severely normal people, moms and dads, standing up and protesting all across the U.K.
00:54:38.080In fact, Tommy was going to go to the Epping protests that I went to, but then he said, you know what, I'm not going to go, because then the story will be about me.
00:56:00.760But last time I read it, I thought, these are the best arguments ever.
00:56:04.280And they're just as relevant in 2025 as they were hundreds of years ago when they were written.
00:56:08.700And the U.K. really has been the world standard for freedom of expression, well, until the United States came along with their First Amendment and made it even stronger.
00:56:21.960So, yeah, the U.K. has a great history of freedom of speech, but their present is not, I mean, as Tommy Robinson's charges prove, is not very hopeful.
