Rebel News Podcast - GraceLife Raid, Silent Anti-Lockdown Protest

00:00:00.000 Welcome to Rebel Roundup, ladies and gentlemen, and the rest of you, in which we look back

00:00:19.460 at some of the very best commentaries of the week by your favourite Rebels.

00:00:23.380 I'm your host, David Benzies.

00:00:25.260 It's incredible. Just days after the Easter weekend, Grace Life Church was raided by law enforcement.

00:00:33.120 But why? Well, Sheila Gunn-Reed has all the nitty-gritty and disgraceful details. 1.00

00:00:39.760 Well, there was a silent anti-lockdown protest in Vancouver recently, one that took its inspiration

00:00:45.820 from the classic John Carpenter flick, They Live.

00:00:49.580 And Drea Humphrey will be joining me to weigh in on the shenanigans, and yeah, just like 0.99

00:00:55.640 the Rowdy Roddy Piper character in They Live, Drea will be here to chew bubblegum and kick 1.00

00:01:00.900 ass, and she's fresh out of bubblegum. 1.00

00:01:03.720 And letters, we get your letters, we get them every minute of every day. 0.97

00:01:07.180 And you had plenty to say about anti-lockdown crusader Chris Skye being added to Canada's

00:01:13.580 no-fly list? I kid you not, folks. And his crime? Well, apparently espousing politically

00:01:21.480 incorrect opinions about the Wuhan virus can get you grounded in Canada these days.

00:01:28.140 Meanwhile, Omar Cotter, the convicted terrorist and murderer, yeah, he's free to fly anywhere.

00:01:34.260 On your coin, of course. Makes sense to me, too.

00:01:38.120 Those are your Rebels now. Let's round them up. 0.77

00:01:43.580 Sorry. So, we can't even go on the property? Is that what's happening here?

00:01:51.340 That's correct.

00:01:52.760 So, what happens if I try to walk up there?

00:01:55.180 I'll stop you.

00:01:56.440 I'm a journalist, though.

00:02:13.580 I'll stop you.

00:02:27.280 Okay.

00:02:27.960 Thank you.

00:02:57.960 Thank you.

00:03:27.960 Thank you.

00:03:57.960 Thank you.

00:04:27.960 Thank you.

00:04:57.940 Thank you.

00:05:27.940 Thank you.

00:05:29.940 Thank you.

00:05:31.940 Thank you.

00:05:33.940 So, Sheila, my first question to you is, who do you think should shoulder most of the

00:05:40.140 blame for that outrageous raid on Wednesday?

00:05:43.320 The rank and file of law enforcement or Alberta Premier Jason Kenney, who I thought, well,

00:05:49.340 at least once upon a time, he was a champion for religious freedoms?

00:05:53.340 I think Jason Kenney should shoulder the blame, but also the health minister in Alberta, Tyler

00:06:00.380 Shandro.

00:06:01.380 And I think every single MLA who saw what happened on Wednesday and who doesn't speak out against

00:06:07.300 that heavy handedness, that authoritarianism, the stuff that we never thought that we would

00:06:12.280 ever see here in Alberta.

00:06:14.660 And every one of them that doesn't speak up and lend their voice to the side of freedom

00:06:20.840 on this issue, they shoulder the blame.

00:06:22.900 Those cops there yesterday, you know, I did end up on the wrong side of a couple of them.

00:06:28.000 But by and large, they are acting as the enforcement arm of Alberta Health Services.

00:06:33.480 The health minister, Tyler Shandro, is in charge of them, and the premier is in charge of him.

00:06:40.340 And, you know, the trouble starts at the top, and there's only one way to undo it,

00:06:47.140 and it's those two men who can fix this.

00:06:49.820 And every other MLA who doesn't speak up, they're part of the problem.

00:06:53.600 You know, you've touched upon a very interesting issue here, Sheila.

00:06:56.800 Well, those MLAs, and we know there are many, do not like what happened on Wednesday, one I owed up.

00:07:04.580 But the question is, do they speak up?

00:07:06.880 Do they try to orchestrate, I don't know, a palace coup a la Patrick Brown back in 2018?

00:07:13.600 Or do they just grumble about it and not say anything and go about their business?

00:07:19.860 Well, I think it's a win-win here for them.

00:07:22.620 If they do speak up, they speak up and they can sleep at night.

00:07:26.800 And they don't have a crisis of conscience.

00:07:31.440 But also, there's some self-preservation in all of this,

00:07:34.160 because the tide is turning very quickly here in Alberta.

00:07:37.880 Jason Kenney was very popular before the lockdown.

00:07:41.060 And even during the pandemic, he was pretty popular.

00:07:44.720 He said that he was sort of taking a more North Dakota approach to the lockdown,

00:07:49.140 until all of a sudden he wasn't.

00:07:51.120 Until pastors were being arrested in Calgary for feeding the homeless.

00:07:55.520 Until protesters were being arrested in all parts of the province and issued lockdown tickets.

00:08:02.200 Until Pastor Coates started serving 35 days in jail.

00:08:08.220 Until restaurant owners like Chris Scott at the Whistle Stop were threatened with contempt of court

00:08:13.700 for opening their businesses in an act of economic survival.

00:08:17.720 That's when the tide started turning.

00:08:19.340 And now the government has escalated this.

00:08:22.480 And I thought when Pastor James went to jail,

00:08:25.720 when they found a way to strike a deal with a new prosecutor and get him out while he awaited trial,

00:08:32.080 that that would be the end of it.

00:08:33.620 But now they've escalated it.

00:08:35.520 And I don't know how the government backs out of this.

00:08:37.940 I have no idea.

00:08:39.220 You know, Sheila, I had you on last week, of course,

00:08:41.480 and I thought it was a happy ending to an odious story.

00:08:45.560 Pastor Coates being incarcerated for some 35 days in a maximum security facility.

00:08:51.840 A terrible one in Edmonton.

00:08:54.620 And then this happened.

00:08:56.960 I've got to be honest, Sheila.

00:08:58.600 This caught me completely by surprise.

00:09:01.120 I thought the story was done a week ago.

00:09:03.380 But now, as you said, it's been escalated.

00:09:07.460 And what is the endgame here?

00:09:10.120 Well, what really is the endgame?

00:09:11.840 This church has had a closure notice on its door since January.

00:09:15.220 I take a picture of it every time I'm there, every single week,

00:09:18.700 when I walk into a completely full church, whether Pastor James is there or not.

00:09:23.080 Whether it's Pastor James or Jake Spence,

00:09:25.300 the associate pastor who stepped up and covered off the congregation

00:09:28.120 and did sermons while Pastor James was in jail,

00:09:30.720 knowing full well that he could end up there too.

00:09:33.380 That sign has been on the door since January.

00:09:36.440 It's April.

00:09:37.920 They haven't had an outbreak at the church since that sign went up.

00:09:41.820 So why now with the heavy-handed enforcement action?

00:09:45.000 Why now?

00:09:45.740 Is it because Pastor James is out or because we went back into lockdown?

00:09:49.940 But the church has been violating lockdown anyway.

00:09:52.080 So what prompted the decision yesterday?

00:09:55.280 And I think this is one hell of a political loser for Premier Kenny to pursue, Sheila.

00:10:00.520 I don't see how this gets the majority of the populace of Alberta on board.

00:10:06.620 Yeah, lock them down, fence them off.

00:10:09.320 And the optics look dreadful.

00:10:11.440 In a couple of days, it'll be Sunday.

00:10:14.080 What's going to happen?

00:10:15.080 This is usually when the congregation comes to take part in church services.

00:10:19.000 Are they going to come anyway and just worship outside that ugly fence?

00:10:25.100 Well, that's the thing with this church. 0.77

00:10:27.080 They are, I was going to say, they're like Arby's.

00:10:29.660 You can't keep them down.

00:10:30.640 That's my ongoing joke.

00:10:33.060 But, you know, they have such optimism, right?

00:10:36.540 Even while their fences were being erected around their church, and not just one fence,

00:10:41.440 but two sets of fences, a steel gate checkpoint at the end of the property,

00:10:48.360 and a black tarp being wrapped around the face of the church like a mask,

00:10:53.520 they remained optimistic.

00:10:56.120 They said, well, good thing this happened on a Wednesday.

00:10:58.000 We've got four days to plan for what happens on Sunday.

00:11:00.480 So, they are going to figure something out before Sunday.

00:11:03.420 I just don't know what that is yet.

00:11:04.920 The last time I talked to them, nobody knew what it is yet.

00:11:07.400 But the landowner next door is allowing people onto his property, churchgoers and their supporters,

00:11:14.860 which is something the RCMP didn't take into consideration when they put up those fences.

00:11:20.340 They thought that they would be keeping everybody right far away on the other side of the road

00:11:25.500 where the journalists normally stand.

00:11:27.800 But people can get very close to their church now.

00:11:31.140 And, you know, I don't know what's going to happen on Sunday, but I know something will.

00:11:36.760 Because even when they locked up Pastor James, the church went on.

00:11:42.840 And so, if the government thinks this is about a building for them,

00:11:46.860 they misunderstand everything that's happening here.

00:11:49.700 Well, Sheila, I'm sure you're going to be there on Sunday to lend witness to what does happen.

00:11:56.780 One thing we do know for sure on Sunday that we are not going to see is any kind of violent actions.

00:12:03.660 Ever.

00:12:03.860 And this is what really, you know, grinds my gears about what we saw happen on Wednesday.

00:12:09.960 This is not an ISA cell.

00:12:12.680 This is not Hell's Angels.

00:12:14.520 This is not a mafia clubhouse.

00:12:16.640 This was a place of worship with peaceful people that just want to go minding their own business.

00:12:23.980 And for some reason, and I don't know what's in Jason Kenney's head, Sheila,

00:12:29.280 he decided to double down on trying to stamp out this thing.

00:12:33.580 I don't think it's going to end well for the government, that is.

00:12:37.780 Yes.

00:12:38.200 But like you say, it's not going to end in violence, at least not from the church.

00:12:42.700 That's for sure.

00:12:43.440 It's really something to see how this church conducts themselves with such dignity and staying true, unlike Jason Kenney, to their Christian ideals.

00:12:56.800 They talk to the cops and they say, when this is all over, please come to our church.

00:13:01.260 You're welcome here.

00:13:02.000 We pray for you.

00:13:02.760 We hope that God changes your heart and that you understand that what you're doing here is wrong.

00:13:08.420 They're so full of forgiveness and kindness, which I think makes it so disgusting how the mainstream media shows up with security guards to keep them safe from these kind-hearted, forgiving Christians.

00:13:24.400 Yeah, and that's the note I would love to give to Premier Kenney, dignity and staying true to one's ideals.

00:13:30.800 Remember when you were a cabinet minister in the Harper government and you campaigned for religious freedom?

00:13:35.900 Wow, another one that has just completely done a 180.

00:13:39.940 Sheila, wonderful piece, and I look forward to your report on Sunday, my friend.

00:13:45.220 Thanks, David.

00:13:45.780 Have a great weekend.

00:13:46.560 You too.

00:13:46.980 And that was Sheila Gunn-Reed somewhere in the northern hinterland of Alberta.

00:13:52.180 Keep it here, folks.

00:13:52.960 More of Rebel Roundup to come right after this.

00:14:00.300 But today, I'm at a protest, a different kind.

00:14:03.340 They're going to actually listen to the messages that the mainstream media and our government want them to do.

00:14:08.820 They're going to obey.

00:14:10.120 They're going to shut up.

00:14:11.620 They're going to not express freedom of thought.

00:14:14.240 They're going to watch TV.

00:14:15.880 They're going to isolate.

00:14:16.980 This protest is based on a 1988 movie called They Live.

00:14:28.620 And it's very creepily related to how we are living today.

00:14:34.360 Take a look at this silent march and I'll meet you afterwards.

00:14:46.980 And I'll be right back.

00:15:16.980 What do you think of this?

00:15:43.900 It's kind of different.

00:15:45.000 Yeah, I was pretty surprised.

00:15:46.160 It's their lives, they can feel however they want to feel, and they can believe whatever

00:15:57.580 they want.

00:15:58.580 But I personally don't agree, but it's none of my business.

00:16:02.340 All right, well that's a great thing about Canada, right?

00:16:14.180 Let me tell you kids, that has to be the scariest protest to ever run on Monster Chiller Horror

00:16:33.420 Theater.

00:16:34.240 Did you see those aliens just popping right out at you?

00:16:37.460 And you didn't even have to be wearing your 3D glasses.

00:16:41.980 And joining me now from Vancouver to weigh in on this silent protest based on the John

00:16:47.980 Carpenter classic flick, They Live, is Drea Humphrey.

00:16:52.640 Welcome to Rebel Roundup, Drea.

00:16:54.580 Hey everyone.

00:16:55.380 So Drea, that was such a clever protest, but I got to tell you, I'm not sure what was

00:17:02.760 more horrific, those protesters who were wearing those alien masks or those young healthy bystanders 0.87

00:17:10.860 on the streets of Vancouver who were wearing those ridiculous face diapers given that young 0.97

00:17:17.060 healthy people have virtually no risk of dying from the Wuhan virus. 0.96

00:17:21.500 What say you?

00:17:23.200 I think the latter is definitely more terrifying.

00:17:26.940 You know, not to mention their age, but also that there's no science behind wearing a mask outdoors.

00:17:33.680 There's been studies of over 7,000 people and only two men that had talked together had the virus.

00:17:39.900 So at that point, is it really an outdoor thing or was there some other reason for that?

00:17:45.260 Yeah, and really, I mean, we are going by the stats.

00:17:48.040 I'm not sure what the stats are in BC.

00:17:49.520 I know in Ontario, under 20 deaths, it's only two, and both of those individuals tragically

00:17:55.340 had very complicated medical conditions, such as in the case of one, leukemia.

00:18:01.120 But tell me, Drea, what was, what was, who was behind this protest?

00:18:06.820 What were they trying to do?

00:18:09.300 So Sasha, he goes by Alex Fekomek, as well as Nikolai.

00:18:14.280 They were the visual, the visionaries behind it.

00:18:17.620 And they wanted to kind of shake up how protests had been done before.

00:18:21.660 And I think they have like a creative kind of knack themselves.

00:18:25.900 And so they have a telegram group called Social Media and they pop out different ideas.

00:18:30.740 And they came up with this concept, which I thought was very effective.

00:18:34.200 I love that.

00:18:35.700 I just wish there was more of a critical mass and there was more zombie alien masks as well.

00:18:41.960 You can tell I'm an underbashed fan of that movie.

00:18:45.000 I mean, one of the best lines in cinematic history is Rowdy Roddy Piper saying, 0.99

00:18:49.280 I'm here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum. 0.92

00:18:53.440 And you know what, Drea, I got to tell you, I would like to see people and especially business people channel Mr. Piper's sentiment 0.98

00:19:04.240 and just say, listen, that's it.

00:19:06.880 I'm done with the lockdowns.

00:19:08.540 I'm done with being told to lock up shop and slowly go out of business.

00:19:13.440 I'm done with the BS that we're all in this together when government and bureaucrats, nobody's lost a day's worth of salary there.

00:19:20.860 What is the mood in Vancouver or British Columbia in terms of people saying, I've had it, I'm ready to go all out Adam Skelly here?

00:19:31.300 Well, I'm happy to say that it seems like there is some traction in that area.

00:19:35.980 United we stand, right?

00:19:37.880 And a recent protest that's been put out on Rebel is the Save Small Business BC protest.

00:19:45.800 I almost got teary-eyed because I've been covering the protests out in BC for over the past year now.

00:19:52.160 And it was all new faces and it was close to 2,000 people coming out to support small and medium businesses.

00:19:59.500 There's been some talk about, you know, them all opening on one day.

00:20:03.560 And I know there's another group called We Essential that's working on that.

00:20:06.600 But if you've catched some of our reports, there's been a couple of business owners who said enough is enough.

00:20:13.900 One is Federico from Gusto, A Taste of Italy, and Rebecca Matthews from Corduroy.

00:20:22.460 So some took a stand.

00:20:23.980 BC has come down hard on them.

00:20:27.200 But I don't think that that's a deterrent from what I'm hearing.

00:20:31.520 But Drea, the only way this works, you're quite right, there's ones and twos across the country.

00:20:36.600 Opening their doors.

00:20:38.280 We need hundreds.

00:20:39.300 We need thousands.

00:20:40.380 And what I say is that what are the authorities going to do?

00:20:43.920 Put all these shopkeepers and restaurateurs in jail overnight?

00:20:48.040 Are they going to fine everybody?

00:20:49.820 And by the way, if they are fined, well, let's blow our own horn here.

00:20:54.920 We've got fightthefines.com.

00:20:56.860 We'll put them in touch with a criminal lawyer and we will crowdfund their legal fees.

00:21:01.320 Drea, if you are going out of business, what do you have to lose?

00:21:08.280 You know, I have to think of it as what would I do?

00:21:12.620 I mean, if you have the belief that you're going to fail, your business is going to be done,

00:21:16.820 I don't really understand what the point is of complying to that slow death.

00:21:22.300 But, you know, they've got a lot to consider.

00:21:24.200 I would definitely open up, but that's me.

00:21:26.680 And I understand that they've got to weigh all of the odds.

00:21:29.280 And a lot of people can't take the backlash that you get online as well.

00:21:34.360 They're used to running a successful restaurant that people love and putting smiles on people's faces.

00:21:39.920 And then next thing you know, they read the comments and who knows what they're saying about you, right?

00:21:44.680 So we're used to that as rebels.

00:21:46.740 Maybe not everybody is.

00:21:48.260 Well, you know what?

00:21:48.760 I share your fighting spirit, Drea, and I fear that if you and I were shopkeepers,

00:21:52.600 we'd probably be at a maximum security facility in Edmonton like Pastor Coates right now.

00:21:59.560 Unfortunately.

00:22:00.820 But even that, it's like they go really hard and make a martyr out of someone,

00:22:05.460 but then the church just continues, you know, like during it.

00:22:08.900 And I'm sure it's not going to deter.

00:22:11.260 I mean, you can't restrict the gospel being spread.

00:22:14.280 So we'll see.

00:22:15.340 Indeed.

00:22:15.620 And to bring it back to the protest that was formulated by that dynamic duo that came up with the They Live theme,

00:22:24.600 what are they going to do for an encore, Drea?

00:22:27.560 I would love to see them channel John Carpenter's 1982 masterpiece, The Thing,

00:22:33.680 and maybe have protesters resemble spidery, octopus-like creatures marching down Vancouver.

00:22:41.180 But have they given you any indication about other kind of creative protests that are headed your way?

00:22:48.700 Well, they did say I would be a first to know and that they are planning other things.

00:22:53.260 Other breaking news for Alexander is that he was also in another peaceful protest,

00:22:59.440 a convoy, and doing his jokes out of the window and was completely attacked.

00:23:03.460 We covered that with the bicycle.

00:23:05.600 So that was him.

00:23:08.400 Yes, and you know what, Drea, thank you for reminding me.

00:23:12.020 Did that thug who came up with his bicycle and smashed his windshield in on his vehicle,

00:23:19.020 were there any charges that came out of that?

00:23:21.060 Because that was outrageous.

00:23:22.960 Right.

00:23:23.460 So actually the police recommended charges, but Sasha, I think he's just such a sweet soul,

00:23:29.740 last I checked, has not charged, but he is requesting all the details for his case

00:23:34.100 and he still hasn't done it, but it's still on the table.

00:23:37.520 So I hope so.

00:23:39.620 How do you like that, Drea?

00:23:41.400 Yet another example of the loving, tolerant left in action when it comes to the arena of free speech.

00:23:48.480 Well, Drea, it was a great video.

00:23:50.040 By the way, kudos to the cameraman and the way it was edited.

00:23:55.300 It was downright spooky.

00:23:57.720 I'm talking monster chiller horror theater here.

00:24:00.240 Yeah.

00:24:00.860 Matt did a great job on that.

00:24:02.760 Oh, 100%.

00:24:03.980 Matt's doing so much great work for you out there.

00:24:06.600 So listen, keep us appraised of any of these other creative protests.

00:24:11.400 They are so enjoyable to watch and I look forward to viewing more of them in the future.

00:24:16.840 All right, guys.

00:24:17.420 Take care.

00:24:18.120 Okay.

00:24:18.560 Have a great weekend, Drea.

00:24:20.040 You too.

00:24:20.820 And that was Drea Humphrey in Vancouver.

00:24:23.280 Keep it here, folks.

00:24:24.220 More of Rebel Roundup to come right after this.

00:24:26.620 Well, folks, as you well know, during the last year and a bit, we've seen all kinds of charter rights trampled on by various politicians, bureaucrats, and chief medical health officers, ostensibly to eradicate the Wuhan virus.

00:24:48.260 And just when you wonder if we've seen the worst of the worst, then we hear of yet another story of an individual's rights being completely eradicated for no good reason.

00:25:02.920 And without further ado, I would like to introduce my guest, the notorious Chris Guy, a.k.a. the common nuisance in the eyes of the police.

00:25:11.260 How are you doing, Chris?

00:25:12.020 Well, I'm not a common nuisance anymore.

00:25:14.140 I've graduated.

00:25:15.100 Oh.

00:25:15.500 Officially, as of this morning, I'm now a terrorist.

00:25:18.040 Well, let's be clear.

00:25:19.760 They haven't actually called you a terrorist, but you've, I guess, been put into the same bowl of cherries as terrorists, which is to say you are now on Canada's no-fly list?

00:25:32.820 That's correct.

00:25:33.420 And I say terrorist because if you go to the actual government website for Canada's no-fly list, the only reason to be put on the no-fly list is if you are declared a terrorist or if they can reasonably believe that you're going to do terrorist activities.

00:25:49.460 What are activities I going to do?

00:25:51.000 I was supposed to go to Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, domestic travel, domestic travel, to go to the rallies, to speak about the lockdowns, to speak about the coming vaccine passports that they're going to try to slip down society's throat. 0.77

00:26:05.860 And that's why they declared me a terrorist.

00:26:08.740 You know, folks, what I find particularly egregious about this, as we uncovered a couple years ago, you would think that, hmm, let's see.

00:26:16.580 Oh, yes, Omar Cotter, that individual might be on a no-fly list.

00:26:21.620 He's a convicted and self-confessed murderer and terrorist.

00:26:25.040 He took the life of a U.S. serviceman and partially blinded another.

00:26:28.220 And as Ezra Levent, the big boss man here, found out a couple years ago, it looks like Omar Cotter is free to fly the friendly skies.

00:26:39.560 Here, check out this clip.

00:26:41.100 Can I have a word?

00:26:45.580 Can I talk to you for a minute?

00:26:48.540 Can you take a selfie together?

00:26:50.500 If you want.

00:26:52.140 Yeah.

00:26:52.700 Can I ask you a couple questions?

00:26:55.420 How did you get on the plane? I thought you were on the no-fly list.

00:26:58.940 This is exactly what we figured would happen.

00:27:01.000 Why don't we go ahead and walk away from a ton of sick things that are hurt by myself.

00:27:04.000 But aren't you on the no-fly list?

00:27:08.360 Is there security?

00:27:09.300 For me or for him?

00:27:11.040 For filming a person when that's really not an okay thing to do.

00:27:14.400 Can I ask you why you won't let the widow have access to some of the money you got?

00:27:24.600 Excuse me, officer. He's harassing us.

00:27:26.080 He's not harassing anybody.

00:27:27.800 That's a convicted al-Qaeda terrorist right there who just flew on an airplane.

00:27:33.920 Yeah, so that's... 0.97

00:27:35.320 How ridiculous is that? 0.94

00:27:36.140 So a man, a man who literally went to another country to be trained to attack our country 1.00

00:27:44.320 and then actually killed people, the definition of terrorism, killing people for political purposes,

00:27:52.240 is okay to fly and was actually paid millions of dollars by Justin Trudeau, our government.

00:27:57.760 Meanwhile, a Canadian citizen with no criminal record and no charges of any kind is put on the no-fly list

00:28:06.620 because he tells Canadians to know their rights, protect their rights, or they will take your rights.

00:28:11.560 Well, folks, I think we finally hit peak pandemic insanity.

00:28:15.920 Simply for espousing a politically incorrect train of thought regarding lockdowns and masks,

00:28:22.280 Chris Guy now finds himself on the no-fly list?

00:28:25.440 But our very own homegrown al-Qaeda terrorist, a man who killed a U.S. serviceman and partially blinded another,

00:28:34.040 well, he's free to jet set?

00:28:36.400 Oh, and I'm sure little Omar flies first class. 0.81

00:28:39.720 $10.5 million courtesy of the taxpayer means that this filthy murderer is set for life. 0.91

00:28:46.260 Astonishing.

00:28:46.860 In any event, you had plenty to say about Chris Guy being put on that no-fly list

00:28:52.560 simply for espousing the wrong kind of thoughts.

00:28:57.000 PSA writes,

00:28:58.740 Rights are temporary privileges.

00:29:01.380 Rights aren't rights if someone can just take them away.

00:29:05.160 George Carlin.

00:29:06.120 Oh, how I missed the intellectual comedic titan that was George Carlin.

00:29:11.520 And that quote really nails it.

00:29:13.120 You know, I wonder if espousing that kind of thinking would get Mr. Carlin put on Justin Trudeau's no-fly list.

00:29:21.260 Barb White writes,

00:29:22.600 They are so threatened by aware people and pay attention and ask questions.

00:29:28.340 They feel threatened by Chris because he educates people on their rights.

00:29:33.140 Well, that's a great observation, Barb.

00:29:35.160 The real virus these days is totalitarianism,

00:29:38.580 and people like Chris provide a much-needed tonic to the tyrants.

00:29:44.500 No wonder he is persona non grata to those in power.

00:29:49.260 Rose Coward writes,

00:29:50.980 Get this information on Tucker Carlson.

00:29:53.780 This disgrace needs to be broadcast worldwide.

00:29:57.180 Couldn't agree more, Rose.

00:29:58.340 I wonder how Americans would feel about a convicted murderer of a U.S. serviceman

00:30:03.540 touching down in the U.S.

00:30:05.360 Meanwhile, a freedom-loving Canadian gets grounded essentially for embracing the First Amendment.

00:30:12.100 Too bad, alas, the First Amendment isn't part of our Constitution.

00:30:18.140 Vault Dweller writes,

00:30:19.640 In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary.

00:30:25.660 Indeed, Vault Dweller.

00:30:26.720 And in that context, Chris Guy is looked upon as an enemy of the state.

00:30:32.260 Whereas, again, someone who hates this country and democracy and Western values,

00:30:38.180 yeah, looking at you, Omar Khadr.

00:30:40.680 Well, he gets the jackpot.

00:30:43.300 Gross.

00:30:44.820 And Claude Robichaud writes, 0.90

00:30:47.000 Well, my friend, look what Chris Scott.

00:31:17.000 I received when he pushed back.

00:31:19.140 Look how Adam Skelly was treated when he pushed back.

00:31:23.360 Our politicians have become drunk with power thanks to the Wuhan virus.

00:31:27.540 I think that's the real health crisis here.

00:31:30.900 Well, that wraps up another edition of Rebel Roundup.

00:31:33.460 Thanks so much for joining us.

00:31:34.800 See you next week.

00:31:35.640 And hey, folks, never forget, without risk, there can be no glory.

00:31:39.740 Good night.

00:31:47.000 Good night.

00:31:47.840 Good night.

00:31:53.180 Good night.

00:31:58.820 Good night.

00:31:59.920 Good night.

00:32:01.200 Good night.

00:32:02.960 Good night.

00:32:04.860 Good night.

00:32:05.180 Good night.

00:32:05.260 Good night.

00:32:05.880 Good night.

00:32:06.260 Good night.

00:32:06.480 Good night.

00:32:06.740 Good night.

00:32:07.340 Good night.

00:32:07.900 Good night.

00:32:08.160 Good night.

00:32:09.420 Good night.

00:32:09.940 Good night.

00:32:10.760 Good night.

00:32:11.840 Good night.

00:32:12.600 Good night.

00:32:14.120 Good night.

00:32:14.620 Good night.

00:32:15.300 Good night.
