00:00:00.000 I'm Joe Collins, I'm running for Congress against Maxine Waters, do you know where I am right
00:00:25.780 now? Maxine Waters' $6 million mansion. Do you know where I'm not right now? Maxine Waters
00:00:33.180 district. Let me be real for a second. Don Lemon is a joke. He is a dumbass, just like Cuomo. Cuomo
00:00:40.940 and his brother, the governor of New York, are both jokes. They're a disgrace to America. And so
00:00:45.520 is his show. The Communist News Network, having him on his show is a reason why a lot of people
00:00:49.860 in our communities are confused about what's going on. South Central LA deserves a leader who will
00:00:55.300 bring back value and opportunity. That's why Joe Collins is running to defeat radical leftist
00:01:01.600 Maxine Waters. She doesn't want to practice what she preaches. That's like number one rule
00:01:08.180 of law in speaking and leadership. You practice what you preach. She doesn't. And that's why
00:01:14.980 it's just, it's so amazing to me to see you out here every day, not give us hope. But these
00:01:20.200 are things that we have to fight against. I mean, you know, with the suppression from social
00:01:23.800 media, from conservative voices, and the lack of transparency and honesty from the Democratic
00:01:28.400 Party, I think that the grassroots effort to be able to remove Gavin Newsom and have
00:01:32.400 our voices heard is very strong right now. The issue of California, and right now our city,
00:01:39.040 our state, our counties are being destroyed daily by Gavin Newsom. And that's why this recall
00:01:45.600 effort is so important. And so, you know, looking at the history of the Republican Party for
00:01:50.240 Black people, you know, this is where we started in politics, right? So for me, it's getting back to
00:01:55.340 where, where we started from, as, as minorities. And then another thing is, it doesn't matter if
00:02:02.620 you're a Democrat or Republican, because nobody at this point is looking out for the urban community.
00:02:07.920 So it wouldn't matter if I was a Democrat, it wouldn't matter if I was a Republican. I know
00:02:12.100 everybody like to think that the Democrats are doing everything for you. But I mean, like, if you go
00:02:16.300 through our city, South LA, you still see gangs, you still see the, the poor quality job, poor
00:02:21.200 education. We have homeless people everywhere. Right. And that's not even a Republican problem
00:02:25.400 because Democrats have been in here for a very long time. So, I mean, time for something different.
00:02:35.860 Joe Collins is a U.S. Navy veteran. He ran for Congress in California's 43rd congressional district
00:02:41.080 against none other than Maxine Waters. Find him on Twitter and Instagram at JoeECollins3.
00:02:47.100 Joe, I'm very excited to talk to you. How are you doing today?
00:02:50.400 Yeah, I'm doing just fine. How about yourself?
00:02:52.720 I'm doing very good. Thank you. What trade were you in the Navy, by the way? I had trouble finding that.
00:02:59.360 I did a little bit of everything. I started off as a jet engine mechanic. I did a boost on the ground
00:03:04.960 tour to Iraq. I was a recruiter and I was also a sexual assault and rape victim advocate.
00:03:11.080 Great. That's good news. I was, I was in the Army myself, so I was just interested in what trade,
00:03:15.920 trade you were in. So you were in the Navy for over a decade, I read, I read. What made you want
00:03:22.240 to get into politics and eventually run against Maxine Waters? Because that's, that's a big name
00:03:27.140 to, to go up against. It is. Well, mainly you want to get into politics was, I actually, President
00:03:34.560 Trump, former President Trump. He, he ran a campaign and I, and I saw that the voice of
00:03:41.220 the younger generation was not being heard. I don't think anybody who's 70, 80, 90 years
00:03:46.160 old represents the ideas that I have of someone who was in my thirties. And so I ended my military
00:03:52.080 career and I went to run for an office position where I grew up in South Central was that area
00:03:57.920 and Maxine Waters just happened to pull the short stick. Yeah. And reading your platform
00:04:03.900 from when you, when you ran, I don't see a lot of those things being addressed. I mean,
00:04:09.340 not specifically by Maxine Waters, of course, but by the Democrats in a whole. I mean, they
00:04:13.700 say they're for these things, but a lot of things you mentioned, like homelessness, for
00:04:17.020 example, I can see is a big problem there. Now I want to circle back to October and play
00:04:22.480 a bit of your campaign video, which I'm sure you've seen millions of times, over a million
00:04:26.760 of people have seen it. But I think what you say in there will always stay relevant. Justin,
00:04:31.840 can we get to that clip?
00:04:36.000 I'm Joe Collins. I'm running for Congress against Maxine Waters. Do you know where I am right
00:04:40.720 now? Maxine Waters is $6 million mansion. Do you know where I'm not right now? Maxine Waters
00:04:48.120 district. Yep. That's right. Maxine does not live in her district, but I do. I was born right
00:04:54.060 here in South LA, in a place Maxine refuses to live. Maxine Waters does not drink our water.
00:05:00.140 She does not breathe our air. And while she sits here in her mansion, our district is in
00:05:05.060 ruins. Let me show you.
00:05:07.060 This is South LA. I was born here. I grew up on 104th Normandy. Maxine Waters has been in office
00:05:19.060 44 years. Has anything got better around here? I can tell you firsthand that it hasn't.
00:05:25.060 Joe, the reason I play that specific clip is because I think it speaks to a lot of cities,
00:05:31.060 particularly large cities in the United States. When in your life did it become apparent to you,
00:05:36.060 like it had for me a few years ago, that a lot of the problems that face these communities,
00:05:40.060 like the ones where you grow up to seem to be, they seem to be in this course where they're electing
00:05:45.060 the same politicians decade after decade. The list of cities is kind of endless off the top of my head.
00:05:51.060 I listed Chicago, St. Louis, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit. These are places that have had Democrats
00:05:56.060 in charge for 30 years, even more in some places. Why do people keep voting for them if they're getting
00:06:01.060 the same results? I think that when you vote for somebody because that person looks like you and
00:06:08.060 because that person is saying things that you want to hear, it becomes like a social norm.
00:06:14.060 Like it's normal to vote Maxine in the office. It's normal to vote Alcee Hazen in the office,
00:06:18.060 knowing that these people have never done anything for you because they've just been there for so long.
00:06:23.060 So I think that's the biggest reason why.
00:06:26.060 Now, how do you convince the people that are in these areas, if they haven't seen it by now,
00:06:33.060 how do you convince them that, look, nothing has changed? Why don't you try something that has an argument
00:06:40.060 that is a little bit more depth? I mean, like I mentioned, there's arguments against crime.
00:06:44.060 There's arguments against racism and homelessness, but none of this really seems to change over the course of 30, 40 years.
00:06:53.060 How do you convince these people or get them to see in these areas that what they're voting for isn't working?
00:07:00.060 Well, a lot of people in inner cities have trust issues.
00:07:03.060 And so that's why it's hard to get them to move on to something new.
00:07:08.060 And what you got to do is you just have to be there.
00:07:11.060 You have to show them that the things that they're going through isn't normal.
00:07:14.060 I used to think that gang violence growing up in inner city was normal until I got out of it
00:07:18.060 and I started going across the world, traveling across the United States and seeing that, you know,
00:07:23.060 gang violence is not normal. Poverty isn't normal. And, you know, it's what's been going on for a very long time.
00:07:30.060 Now, I mean, we can harp on Maxine Waters a lot and it's part of a larger issue.
00:07:35.060 So I want to play her famous clip of when she's, you know, this restaurant and all these things.
00:07:42.060 All the stuff she says, Justin, can we play that? Because again, I think this stuff resonates almost timelessly,
00:07:49.060 at least for at least a few more years, so long as Joe Biden's in office. Let's throw to that clip.
00:07:54.060 And if you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd.
00:08:23.060 And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere.
00:08:32.060 She's really a cartoon character, isn't she? Now, there's been so much talk lately about around Trump
00:08:38.060 and the alleged incitement of violence. They want to impeach him for a second time.
00:08:43.060 But whether it's this clip or the kick them when they're down clip and all the clips that arose for the past three years,
00:08:49.060 there's there's plenty of examples. Is it extremely hypocritical of them to try to claim that Trump's the one inciting violence now?
00:08:58.060 Oh, yeah, of course. Of course it is. Because, you know, we've seen Black Lives Matter and Antifa destroy entire cities over the past year.
00:09:05.060 And that clip that you show from Maxine Waters, that's that's actually relevant because we she sent people to our events
00:09:12.060 while we were running for Congress with guns and things like that to intimidate me and my team.
00:09:18.060 Can you elaborate a bit on that? So people was it a group was a specific group?
00:09:23.060 Was it just random people they sent them there? They had guns on them or what?
00:09:27.060 Yeah, she sent people from I think it was Watts.
00:09:30.060 I think it was like four men to one of our events. I have reported this on social media.
00:09:36.060 We were having a backpack giveaway and a food drive and she sent the guys there to try and intimidate me.
00:09:42.060 And one of the guys had two guns. And it was just like, like, wow, really at a family event?
00:09:47.060 This is what you do. After we deescalate the situation, my team caught up with them and asked them who sent them.
00:09:53.060 And they showed the email where one of her chief of staff, you know, had them come up to our event.
00:09:59.060 Wow, that's crazy. I'm gonna have to get that video from you. Do you think that Joe Biden's administration wants to bring Americans together?
00:10:09.060 Like I mentioned, there's so many times where they're dehumanizing Trump supporters.
00:10:13.060 They're they're calling them. They've gone as far as call all of them terrorists now.
00:10:17.060 Do you think they actually want them to want people to come together or does it matter for them?
00:10:21.060 No, they don't want people to come together at all.
00:10:24.060 This never been their agenda is to bring people together.
00:10:27.060 They talk trash to get in the office. They talk trash about Trump supporters.
00:10:32.060 Mind you, it's about 75 million people who support Trump.
00:10:35.060 And, you know, now Joe Biden's talking about he want peace.
00:10:39.060 He's talking this and that. But I don't believe anything he says.
00:10:43.060 He's he's lied too many times. He said he's not going to rule by executive order.
00:10:47.060 First day in office, 17 executive orders. He didn't do anything for the black community.
00:10:51.060 He just gave a pass to 11 million immigrants and told everybody across the United States.
00:10:56.060 You got a hundred days to come to the United States and we're going to give you a citizenship.
00:11:00.060 Um, he's allowed little boys to participate in little girls sports.
00:11:05.060 And so we see what the agenda is for the Biden administration.
00:11:08.060 And it's not unity.
00:11:10.060 Yeah, I don't think anyone could have anticipated that Biden would work faster than Trump with more executive orders, far more.
00:11:19.060 It just so happens they're terrible decisions, in my opinion.
00:11:22.060 You know, talking about Biden, he just signed some executive orders.
00:11:26.060 And I want to get your opinion on this and and how they claim that they're going to address what he calls systemic racism.
00:11:33.060 So if we could bring some of those up, Justin, I want to read them off to you, Joe, and get your reaction.
00:11:38.060 Direct the Department of Justice to not renew contracts with private prisons.
00:11:43.060 Order Department of Housing to fully implement Fair Housing Act.
00:11:47.060 Push federal agencies for more regularly meaningful talk with tribal governments.
00:11:51.060 Direct Health and Human Services, as well as COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force to examine the best practices to protect Asian community, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders as part of relief efforts.
00:12:04.060 Now, Joe, I want to show you a clip of what Joe Biden has to say about this.
00:12:09.060 And then I want to get your reaction to those executive orders.
00:12:16.060 At the moment it arrived as a nation where we face deep racial inequities in America and systemic racism that has plagued our nation for far, far too long.
00:12:27.060 I said that over the course of the past year that the blinders have been taken off the nation, the American people.
00:12:33.060 But what many Americans didn't see or had simply refused to see couldn't be ignored any longer.
00:12:40.060 Those eight minutes and 46 seconds that took George Floyd's life opened the eyes of millions of Americans and millions of people around all over the world.
00:12:52.060 It was the knee on the neck of justice and it wouldn't be forgotten.
00:12:57.060 Now, Joe, I don't know what George Floyd has to do with any of these executive orders, but it sounds to me just by reading them, as you can see, that they're more about Native Americans and Pacific Islanders getting disaster relief in neighboring islands.
00:13:11.060 How does this address systemic racism at all?
00:13:14.060 Well, he does have the one that allows the Department of Justice to renew private contracts in prisons.
00:13:20.060 I mean, that facilitates black racial inequality right there and put more black people in prison because that's what private prison industrial complex does.
00:13:29.060 But nothing that Joe Biden says that makes sense and nothing that he says will ever resonate with me or anybody in the black community.
00:13:35.060 I think he's trash. Now, is it ironic?
00:13:38.060 Do you think it's ironic coming from Joe Biden? Because I've made a lot of videos about him.
00:13:42.060 And when I go back in the history of him in office, a lot of the stuff is very hard to find.
00:13:48.060 He's got all these weird statements from the past, which I think that he doesn't believe are racist, but they certainly sound very racist.
00:13:56.060 I mean, he's known as the father of the crime bill. And by the end of his term, that'll be 12 out of 16 years where Joe Biden's in the White House.
00:14:04.060 How come things have not gotten better in terms of racial inequality or racial justice in the U.S.?
00:14:10.060 Well, because Joe Biden is the epitome of white supremacy in the United States.
00:14:15.060 I mean, when you look at every single thing that Joe Biden has ever done, it has never been to help anybody of any racial ethnic background.
00:14:23.060 I mean, you look at the 94 crime bill. That was all him. He was there whenever Jim Crow was enacted.
00:14:29.060 He walked with the Grand Wizard from the Ku Klux Klan, even under Obama as a vice president.
00:14:35.060 He still didn't do anything except for allow his son to run around to different countries and extort him.
00:14:40.060 So, I mean, Joe Biden, he's he's legitimately trashed and I don't know why people voted for him.
00:14:45.060 Yeah. And a lot of the stuff, I don't know if the viewers know this and I don't know how much of you seen.
00:14:50.060 But besides the obvious one about busing, he's got stuff where he was friends with extreme racists, extreme segregationists who said, you know, Joe,
00:14:59.060 whether it's supporting you or coming out against you, I'll do whatever you want to help you out.
00:15:04.060 He said he got along great with that guy. And and he was he literally said black people are an inferior race.
00:15:11.060 And then there's the other guy who is the last last Dixiecrat to run for president.
00:15:15.060 He got along great with him. So for a guy who's got all these stories about how how much he's beloved in the black community,
00:15:22.060 he sure got a lot of shady connections. Joe, how do you think they square this with the public?
00:15:28.060 Is it just a matter of don't ask, don't tell? I mean, Kamala Harris, she's got her her background in her profession of putting people in jail.
00:15:39.060 Joe Biden, he's got his background. How do they pull the wool over the eyes of people?
00:15:43.060 And I know I'm sounding really biased here, but this is just the I didn't I didn't come into this thinking I'm going to find that he's racist and they're and they're all doing this stuff.
00:15:53.060 This is just based on my own research. How do they square this with the public or is it just a matter of hiding it?
00:15:58.060 Well, that's what the mainstream media is for. They they they kind of sway opinions based on a type of propaganda that they push out.
00:16:08.060 They push out that Trump was a racist and Joe Biden was the best thing to slice bread.
00:16:13.060 And it's actually the the the reverse. Joe Biden was a racist and President Trump was actually good for America.
00:16:22.060 I mean, you got to think Trump was telling black America, Latinos and Asians, you know, what do you want me to do?
00:16:29.060 I got five hundred billion dollars of planning plan here. I'll let you guys start businesses and stuff like that.
00:16:34.060 Tell me what you need and I'm gonna get it done. Meanwhile, Joe Biden's on a Zoom call with civil rights leaders,
00:16:38.060 staying in hell, which all I run on a platform nobody thought would work.
00:16:42.060 So I don't need y'all. Y'all don't compete with the Mexicans. That's exactly what he said.
00:16:46.060 So, yeah. And a lot of people look past that the billions of dollars that you mentioned.
00:16:51.060 I mean, there was a meeting he had with black leaders in in the White House and they said the hardest.
00:16:58.060 I forget what her name was. I don't want to get it wrong.
00:17:00.060 But a woman there said that the hardest part about getting this money to the inner cities is getting it past the Democrat leaders
00:17:07.060 who run the city and getting it to the actual business owners and people that need the money.
00:17:15.060 Now, Joe, I want to play a clip for you, which I believe you addressed on Newsmax, but it's so much fun.
00:17:21.060 And I love Don Lemon just as much as you do that. I call him Don Lamone.
00:17:25.060 And I can't get enough of this. Justin, can we cue up that wonderful clip of Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo?
00:17:32.060 If you voted for Trump, you voted for the person who the Klan supported.
00:17:38.060 You voted for the person who Nazis support.
00:17:42.060 You voted for the person who the alt-right supports.
00:17:46.060 That's the crowd that you are in.
00:17:49.060 You voted for the person who incited a crowd to go into the Capitol and potentially take the lives of lawmakers,
00:18:00.060 took the lives of police officers, took the lives of innocent lives who were there on the Capitol that day.
00:18:07.060 You voted on that side.
00:18:10.060 Two of my favorite guys, Joe, Don Lamone and tough guy Chris Cuomo.
00:18:14.060 My first question to you, Don Lemon, is he, does he blatantly lie or does he just not understand the things that he talks about
00:18:21.060 and talks about them on his show anyways?
00:18:23.060 I think that he's gotten away with lying so much that he just says whatever he wants to,
00:18:28.060 what he needs is a swift kick in the ass.
00:18:30.060 And that's the problem right there.
00:18:32.060 See, guys like him and Chris Cuomo, because they never had confrontation,
00:18:36.060 because nobody ever pulled up on them, they feel like they can say what they want and it should be okay.
00:18:40.060 But you never catch these guys out in public.
00:18:42.060 You never see these guys anywhere.
00:18:44.060 They won't talk trash to your face.
00:18:46.060 And that's the problem with America right now.
00:18:48.060 People with the internet and TV and everything make punks look like tough guys.
00:18:53.060 Well, his logic there is completely flawed.
00:18:56.060 I mean, there's two candidates.
00:18:57.060 The Klan is going to support one.
00:18:59.060 The Democrats stirred the Klan.
00:19:01.060 And the Clintons were friends with a bunch of them.
00:19:04.060 Like I mentioned before, Joe Biden got along very well with a lot of segregationists.
00:19:09.060 How do they do this?
00:19:11.060 Even the last Dixiecrack candidate, like I said, other vile racists were willing to endorse him.
00:19:16.060 Who believes this, Joe?
00:19:18.060 What are we watching now as MSNBC goes on about the incitement of riot and still impeachment?
00:19:26.060 Who is still believing this stuff, Joe?
00:19:28.060 Who is still the CNN viewer that's, you know, 100% all in?
00:19:32.060 I think it's about 11 million people that watch CNN.
00:19:36.060 And so those are the only 11 million people that might believe the stuff that they see.
00:19:40.060 But those are the people who don't go outside.
00:19:42.060 Those are the people who don't really get engaged in what's going on.
00:19:45.060 Those are the people who just sit in the house all day and they believe in that propaganda media.
00:19:49.060 Now we can go on and on about who we don't like to watch on CNN.
00:19:55.060 That's pretty obvious.
00:19:56.060 Who do you watch these days?
00:19:57.060 Who is somebody that you like the opinions of, whether it's current politics or a reporter or an anchor or something like that?
00:20:04.060 I would say that Chris Salcedo and maybe Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, probably my favorite people to watch.
00:20:12.060 But even then, I still take it with a grain of salt.
00:20:15.060 I make sure I go back and do my research before I take what they say and say it's value.
00:20:19.060 Now, how do you feel about a lot of these?
00:20:22.060 I mean, late night talk show hosts are too easy.
00:20:26.060 Like, they're going to endorse whoever their network tells them to endorse.
00:20:30.060 But a lot of celebrities, and I think of one, you see Lil Wayne coming out as a Republican.
00:20:36.060 You see, I think, Exhibit as well, a lot of rappers coming out.
00:20:41.060 But on the other side, you see artists and mainstream media.
00:20:46.060 Like, you have Lady Gaga at the inauguration.
00:20:50.060 You had Tom Hanks.
00:20:51.060 What do you think's in it for them?
00:20:53.060 Now, the late, I'm not sure if you're familiar with the guy named Kingface.
00:20:56.060 He's deceased a few months ago.
00:20:58.060 But he personally told me that he was offered a million dollars to go against Donald Trump.
00:21:03.060 Do you have any inside information on how this comes to be?
00:21:07.060 I don't see Lady Gaga picking up the New York Times every day and going to Fox News every day.
00:21:14.060 I mean, I could be wrong, but based on what she said, it hasn't been apparent.
00:21:17.060 What's in it for these?
00:21:18.060 Is it just the in-club?
00:21:19.060 Is it just the in-crowd and getting to perpetuate their celebrity as long as they toe the line?
00:21:26.060 Yeah, basically.
00:21:28.060 They try to get the most influential celebrities to go against an agenda that the Hollywood industry doesn't like.
00:21:36.060 When it comes to Kingface, you know, rest his soul, I can't confirm or deny that he was offered money.
00:21:43.060 That's something that we've never talked about.
00:21:45.060 But it's possible.
00:21:47.060 It's possible.
00:21:48.060 All right, Joe.
00:21:49.060 Last question before I let you go.
00:21:50.060 I mean, I feel like we could trash people all day.
00:21:53.060 We have a good rapport there.
00:21:55.060 You let me know, what is your main goal going forward?
00:21:58.060 Are you going to run again?
00:21:59.060 What is next for you?
00:22:00.060 What's on the horizon?
00:22:01.060 Oh, yeah, we're running again.
00:22:04.060 We've already put our paperwork in and filed to run for Congress again.
00:22:08.060 Our main focus right now is getting rid of Gavin Newsom.
00:22:10.060 He's been the most bipolar governor we've ever seen in a very long time.
00:22:15.060 People are getting sick of them, Democrats and Republicans.
00:22:17.060 So my campaign is going to help California and get rid of that guy and try to find someone else to put in the office of governorship.
00:22:24.060 Well, that reminds me is the last thing here.
00:22:27.060 How do you feel about now that Biden's office, all these cities are saying it's time to open up?
00:22:32.060 Coincidence?
00:22:33.060 No, I think it's I think it's hypocritical.
00:22:35.060 You know, they they perpetuate the pandemic as if it was just this this totally terrible thing, even though the death rate is like point zero zero six or point zero zero seven or something like that.
00:22:46.060 They did it so they can sneak the mail in ballots, so they can ballot harvest and stuff ballot boxes and and do whatever they can in order to be President Trump.
00:22:55.060 Now he's not in office anymore.
00:22:57.060 They're open back up.
00:22:58.060 But I don't think they understand they have a bigger problem than President Trump right now.
00:23:02.060 Yeah. And I'm glad we're behind the paywall now because the what I believe to be true, what you just said would get us panned on YouTube.
00:23:09.060 So thanks for joining me, Joe.
00:23:11.060 You have any last words you want to share?
00:23:13.060 Thanks for having me on the show.
00:23:15.060 I really appreciate it.
00:23:16.060 No problem.
00:23:17.060 We'll get it out to the people.
00:23:19.060 I think people need to hear that they're all our turn, our alternative voices in places like California.
00:23:24.060 And you still got a lot of votes, even though you didn't win last time and you have my support going forward.
00:23:29.060 Have a good night, man.
00:23:30.060 I appreciate it.
00:23:31.060 Thank you, you as well.
00:23:33.060 We'll see you next time.
00:23:34.060 And I'll see you next time.
00:23:35.060 Bye-bye.
00:23:36.060 Bye-bye.
00:23:38.060 Bye-bye.
00:23:40.060 Bye-bye.
00:23:41.060 Bye-bye.
00:23:43.060 Bye-bye.
00:23:47.060 Bye-bye.
