Rebel News Podcast - Miss Understood No. 25 — There's Something About Elon

00:00:00.000 Hello and welcome to Misunderstood, the show for the politically and culturally misunderstood

00:00:23.700 lady or gent, could be either. We are your hosts. Non-binary. I'm Nat. And I'm Kat. And today

00:00:31.100 we're talking about Elon Musk. Who? Elon Musk. Well, if you don't know who that is, we're going to tell

00:00:39.060 you. Have you never heard of Elon Musk? Well, perfect, because you are in for a treat. We're

00:00:44.000 going to tell you who he is. And before you close the browser, we have some interesting things we

00:00:49.200 want to talk about. We do. We're going to do a little bio. Why is he important? We're going to

00:00:53.020 talk about his multiple children. Yes. Twitter. Can we trust him? Is he a conservative now?

00:00:59.000 Is he a conservative now? Hard to say, guys, but guess what? We're going to dumb debunk. We're

00:01:03.920 going to dive in. We're going to dive in. So where should we begin? Well, he was born. He

00:01:10.100 was born in 1971 in South Africa. South Africa. We're doing like a Southern accent. I was born

00:01:17.960 in South Africa. So that means he is the richest man in the world. And he's also an African.

00:01:24.060 Yeah. Wow, guys. Wow. Well, America's come so far. I don't think he counts, though. Somehow.

00:01:27.980 Probably not. He, his mother was Canadian. His father, South African. We'll talk about his

00:01:33.240 dad a little more later in the show. Interesting guy. Interesting stuff. Interesting guy. He has

00:01:37.260 some siblings. Not super important. I mean, there's a lot here. We don't have to go. Yeah.

00:01:42.960 I mean, he has a life. Let's skip to when he was an adult. Yeah. But hold on. I would

00:01:47.180 like to point out that he was bullied super badly in school so badly that he was pushed

00:01:51.100 down a flight of stairs and ended up in the hospital. And that's sad. And I'd like all

00:01:54.920 those bullies to suck it. Yeah. Like, who's laughing now, bullies? Not you guys. Not you 1.00

00:02:00.420 losers. Because he is rich as hell. Yeah. Okay. Anyway, so he actually attended Queen's University 1.00

00:02:06.680 in Kingston, Ontario, where he met his first wife. And then he transferred to UPenn, where

00:02:10.600 he received his bachelor degree of physics and economics in 1997. He enrolled in graduate

00:02:15.260 school at Stanford in California, but he left after only two days. Because, you know, he's

00:02:20.980 so smart. He was like, I'm done with school. Yeah. Let's go make some money, honey.

00:02:24.740 Yeah. So it's funny because they say that he enrolled in physics and then dropped out because

00:02:28.200 he wanted, he thought the internet was the future, which, yeah. But then, then it's like,

00:02:33.020 well, I'm actually going to build rockets. So that's kind of physics, my boy.

00:02:37.120 Which he's done. Yeah. Which he did. Which he's done very successfully. Yeah. What else

00:02:44.040 do we have here? Oh, in 2004, he founded, what is, he became one of the major funders

00:02:49.420 of Tesla Motors and which was later renamed Tesla. Well, just before 2004, he got married

00:02:54.040 for the first time. Yes. That is important. Yeah. In 2002. And in 2004, him and his wife,

00:03:01.020 Justine, had their first baby who sadly died of sudden infant death syndrome. Yeah. Super

00:03:07.640 sad. But then, yeah, in 2004 as well, he became the major funder of Tesla. Then he had a bunch

00:03:14.760 of kids. Then he just started having kids with like everyone. Yeah. So in 2004, him and Justine

00:03:21.700 welcomed twins conceived through IVF. You're going to hear that a lot because our boy Elon Musk

00:03:27.720 loves him some in vitro fertilization. So pray for his sperm. Yeah. We don't know what's

00:03:32.980 going on. We don't know though. Okay. And then in 2006, he welcomed triplets through IVF. Uh-oh.

00:03:40.220 So those, that five was with Justine Musk, the only woman to take the Musk name. Yes.

00:03:48.120 Lucky, lucky lady. And then in 2008, they actually divorced. Oh, I spoke too soon. Okay.

00:03:53.600 Then he started dating Singer Grimes in May of 2018. He actually got married. Oh yeah.

00:03:58.860 In between. But they didn't have any kids. And he also dated Amber Heard for a hot minute.

00:04:02.520 A hot minute. Yikes. Yikes. So we all make mistakes, Elon. It's okay. It's okay. Um,

00:04:06.540 so dated Grimes in 2018. She gave birth to their son X-A-X-C. We're not going to even try.

00:04:12.980 In May 2020. And even though they split in September of the following year, they quietly welcomed a baby

00:04:18.300 girl via surrogate in December. But he also had other kids in December. Yes. In the same year,

00:04:23.520 he had secret twins with one of his executives at, um, Neuralink. Neuralink.

00:04:29.220 So he's been busy. He's been very, very busy guy. Um, and then of course, yeah, so many kids.

00:04:36.760 Yeah. And then of course, we all know about his Twitter deal, which kind of actually was inspired by,

00:04:42.600 um, Babylon Bee getting booted off Twitter. I didn't know that. Yes. Interestingly enough,

00:04:48.320 um, for those of you who don't know Babylon Bee, Google it. They're hilarious. Yeah. They copied us.

00:04:53.760 So. JK, we copied them. We copied them. Yeah. Um, so should we talk about like his Twitter stuff now?

00:05:00.040 Yeah. So like jumping to the very end quickly, as of July 8th, we don't know what's happening.

00:05:05.920 No. Because Twitter is suing him. But how did we get there? You ask. You might not know.

00:05:12.440 Well, maybe you do. Maybe you're just watching for fun. Yeah. Maybe you're watching for the fashion.

00:05:16.720 I would. Yeah. So I think it's important to start with like why he decided he wanted to buy it. Of

00:05:22.120 course, we mentioned Babylon Bee, but he really wanted to ensure that it operated as a free speech

00:05:27.820 forum for all. And I just want to quote him if that's okay. And this is why he's, he's kind of

00:05:32.680 gained popularity with conservatives recently. We can talk more about that later as well. But

00:05:37.140 he said, free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy and Twitter is the digital town square

00:05:43.280 where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated. I also want to make Twitter better

00:05:47.240 than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source

00:05:51.060 to increase trust, defeating the spam bots and authenticating all humans. Twitter has tremendous

00:05:56.040 potential. I look forward to working with the company and the community of users to unlock it.

00:06:00.660 So basically he was going to make everyone verified, which is really the real reason why I want him to

00:06:04.780 go through with his purchase. Cause I keep getting rejected. And of course the bots get the bots as

00:06:09.880 well. Yeah. So this is an interesting point. I like how he mentions it's a virtual town square

00:06:14.420 or sorry, is the digital town square. Um, that is something that people debate all the time

00:06:19.620 because like public or private. Exactly. So people who are pro censorship will say, well,

00:06:24.200 it's a private company. They can do whatever they want. And while that may be true for a Christian 1.00

00:06:28.540 bakery, Twitter, in my opinion, is the public square. Yeah. And it's like, basically like

00:06:35.000 you can, you, by not being on Twitter, if you're cut off of it, you have to go and make your own

00:06:40.220 social media network, Donald Trump. And that's, that's rough because you have to invite people

00:06:44.620 to it and they don't want to use it. Exactly. Twitter. Yeah. And it, it, Twitter has been established

00:06:48.680 for like decades now and that's what we're all used to. And honestly, it's just the best.

00:06:54.020 Like it's the best, unfortunately, despite its many flaws. Yes. Um, so maybe skipping forward

00:07:00.220 a little bit. I want to say one more thing. Yeah, of course. Because so while I do believe

00:07:03.300 that Twitter is the public square and should be free for all, the thing is it still will

00:07:08.140 be regulated by somebody. So if it's not regulated and I heard this argument on Joe Rogan or something

00:07:12.840 and cause I was like, what would be the argument for, by a free speech absolutist to saying that

00:07:19.320 it should be not a private company, um, controlling it. And the answer is that if it's not a private

00:07:24.760 company who's monitoring it, it's the government. Yeah. And that could be real bad, which is

00:07:29.620 even scarier. Yeah. So if Elon Musk is the guy in charge, great because he agrees with some of the

00:07:35.980 things we think, but what if he doesn't? Yeah. And he doesn't always. Well, and the thing is too,

00:07:41.000 like the, the direction Twitter is headed right now, like we're already facing so much censorship

00:07:46.480 and shadow banning and all that and stuff. And one of the reasons why Musk is kind of maybe backing

00:07:52.680 out of this deal is because, um, there are a lot of more bots than he thought. I think it was like

00:07:59.280 he, the, they wanted to claim that only 5% of their daily active users are bots. And it seems like

00:08:05.000 that's not the case. There are more. So even if the sale doesn't go through, he basically proved

00:08:09.440 that there are a crap ton of bots on social media, which is important because that means spam accounts

00:08:13.840 are manipulating the algorithm and influencing our cultural and political landscape. Like

00:08:18.120 it's so important. And so, and at the very least he's exposing these lies and that's so

00:08:23.760 important. It is so important. Like no matter what you think of the guy. Yeah. And he made

00:08:27.840 a funny meme and you know, maybe he's, so he thinks he's, his assertion is that he wanted

00:08:33.960 to know how many bots were on Twitter and Twitter was like, we're not disclosing that. So then

00:08:37.520 he's like, okay, I'm pulling out of the deal. And then they're like, we're going to sue

00:08:39.840 you. And he's like, oh, okay. So I guess in court we'll have to disclose how many bots

00:08:43.560 are on the site. Yeah. LOL. So it's kind of a win-win. Yeah. So maybe he would like,

00:08:46.960 he would like to have us believe that he had this planned all along. Like he's playing 4D

00:08:51.720 chess. Maybe he is. He's super smart, but maybe it's, it's just a coincidence. And it's

00:08:56.200 like, well, we'll find out. So yeah, as I said, as of July 8th, no one really knows what's

00:09:02.580 going on. Twitter said that they're going to take him to court to hold him to the deal. And

00:09:06.380 they're very confident that they can do so. And maybe he's like, fine, I still want to

00:09:09.880 buy it, but you have to show me, show me a pay pass. Yeah, exactly. Plus though, he even

00:09:15.240 vowed to pay a billion dollars if the sale doesn't go through. Like talk about having

00:09:19.360 F you money. Imagine you were just like, okay, I'm not going to buy it, but here's a billion

00:09:23.040 dollars. I can only afford a million dollars. Yeah. So I can't even imagine. Well, dinner's

00:09:28.580 on cat, everybody. But when this, when he originally announced that he was going to be purchasing

00:09:35.060 Twitter, conservatives were a little bit skeptical. Some jumped the gun and were like jumping

00:09:39.960 on the bandwagon and praising him. And I, I actually find that to be a little problematic

00:09:43.560 because any public, like I find that conservatives in general, whenever anyone kind of sort of

00:09:50.040 seems like they're somewhat conservative, we just jump on the bandwagon and it's like,

00:09:53.700 we should kind of think like pause and be like, okay, this might be a good thing, but we

00:09:57.620 don't need to like idolize this person. Yeah. You know? Well, that's one of the articles

00:10:01.340 here, right? Conservatives should be careful not to overpraise Elon Musk. Yes. Yeah. And

00:10:07.140 my first point here is humans should be careful not to overpraise anyone except for God. Yeah,

00:10:13.280 absolutely. Because that's what happens. We're all human and we're flawed. So exactly what

00:10:17.020 you said, there was a lot of conservatives that were like, oh, this is going to change

00:10:20.620 the world. Like this is a, he's a free speech, like savior or something like that. Maybe then

00:10:25.020 he's a savior. Well, and it's like, it's not like he's really a conservative. He's not a social

00:10:28.460 conservative by any means. And we'll kind of get into that maybe a little bit more. So it's like,

00:10:32.600 yes, I respect that he is a free speech advocate, but that doesn't mean I align with him on anything

00:10:37.940 else. And some of the other things that I don't align with him on are actually more important than

00:10:42.860 Twitter, you know? And like, like we don't need to align with his values or agree with him to

00:10:48.260 appreciate what he's doing. But as Christians and conservatives, like we should think critically

00:10:52.280 and just not get up in the, get caught up in the popular narrative because it sounds good,

00:10:57.200 you know, because we don't really know his heart or his motives at the end of the day.

00:11:00.960 Yeah. So, um, some of the things that he is very not conservative about, um, he like, this is a

00:11:08.160 quote from this article from national review. Musk has taken progressive positions on a whole host

00:11:12.300 of issues from immigration restrictions to climate change and abortion. Um, and also when Trump withdrew

00:11:17.280 the U S from the Paris climate accord, Musk resigned in protest from all of the Trump administration,

00:11:22.120 CEO advisory councils on manufacturing jobs and economic policy.

00:11:25.440 Yeah. So he's also donated thousands of dollars to the democratic party. And after the Supreme

00:11:31.140 court's decision to overturn, uh, Roe v Wade was leaked, they announced that they would cover

00:11:36.140 healthcare and travel costs for employees seeking out of state abortion. So, you know,

00:11:40.800 which is like kind of ironic. It's well, he's so pro like populate the earth. Yeah. He doesn't call

00:11:47.840 himself pro life, but he calls himself pro population pro rates. Yeah. But it's also funny because you and I

00:11:54.560 have to discuss this, um, it's a lot cheaper for a company to pay for your abortion than to send you 0.87

00:12:01.040 on mat leave because in the States, they don't have federal mat leave like we do here. So the company,

00:12:05.020 if they want to pay for it, it's private. Exactly. So if, if Elon Musk, who is in the eye of, um,

00:12:12.460 the public wants, doesn't want to get a ton of flack, he would probably be paying mat leave for his

00:12:19.640 company, his employees. And it's a lot cheaper to send someone on a bus ride or give them gas money

00:12:24.780 to go get an abortion than it is to pay for them for 18 months to raise their child. Yeah. So not 1.00

00:12:29.860 really all that, uh, kind and generous folks. Um, but on the other side of the coin, he's also called

00:12:36.400 COVID lockdowns fascist and he's written that gender pronouns suck. And I mean, that's actually 0.96

00:12:41.260 resulted in kind of the severing of a relationship between him and one of his daughters who is

00:12:45.860 transgender. And now she wants to change her last name, right? Yes. Um, because she doesn't want to 1.00

00:12:49.780 be associated with him. We blitzed about this before. And I'm once she runs out of money, she's

00:12:53.920 going to come crawling back to her daddy, but it's a tough one. Cause it's like, you want the name.

00:12:58.500 Yeah. You definitely, you definitely want the name. Yeah. You got the genes. Yeah. Now you want the name

00:13:03.460 and the money. I want the name. I want the name too. I want that inheritance. He's also,

00:13:07.420 uh, called Joe Biden, sleepy Joe Biden and space Karen, Elizabeth Warren. Um, so that's, you know,

00:13:16.800 though, that's very like memeable right wing culture. Yeah. And he did come out as a, not like

00:13:22.200 the thing is, is he can vote Republican. It's not for us to say, is he really a Republican? Like

00:13:27.120 it's he's voting Republican. So none of us are like, I'm not a conservative. I'm a

00:13:33.420 I'm a Canadian me. Like I vote conservative. It doesn't make me. Yeah. Like whoever aligns

00:13:38.740 with your values at the time. Exactly. Exactly. I'm, and I mean, I've always only ever voted

00:13:44.100 conservative, but I reserve the right to keep my mind open. And I really appreciate that. He's not

00:13:48.940 just like hardcore right wing because that would be boring. Yeah. We don't need, I think he was a

00:13:54.300 registered independent for the most part. Probably. Yeah. So, I mean, yeah, I think you're right. I think

00:13:58.740 like there's a lot of nuance to politics and we shouldn't be so closed minded and have tunnel

00:14:03.520 vision when it comes to voting. Obviously, when it pertains to the liberal party and the democratic

00:14:07.440 party as Christians, it's a little tougher to justify voting for them just because they,

00:14:12.800 for many reasons, but they, they don't really. They hate life in itself. They hate, they don't value

00:14:17.300 life. They hate God. Yeah. Et cetera, et cetera. Um, but yeah. So nice people. Yeah. Some of them

00:14:24.200 are great. Um, but he did indicate in June his support for Florida governor, Ron DeSantis,

00:14:28.640 um, to, if he does run for president in 2024. Who's extremely pro-life. Yeah. Very socially

00:14:34.920 conservative. Yeah. Yes, exactly. Which is interesting. Yeah. Um, and Coulter had a quote

00:14:39.540 about Elon Musk and she says, he's mostly about promoting himself. Yeah. And that's like, yeah.

00:14:44.240 Which is, I guess, fair. I mean, you're, he's built his whole career off himself. Yeah. And nor

00:14:50.300 should he be a banner boy for either party. No, no, he should not. So yeah. For conservatives

00:14:55.540 to be like, Oh, he's our, he's our man. It's like, you're going to get disappointed the next

00:15:00.040 time one of like Roe v. Wade is overturned or re overturned or whatever, like something

00:15:04.660 happened socially, you're going to be disappointed and you're gonna be like, Oh, I hate him. He's

00:15:08.940 like, he's a human being. He has a nuanced opinion and we might disagree with half of them.

00:15:14.360 Yeah. Like you can't put anyone in a box. Um, but I mean, he is predicting a red wave in

00:15:19.000 the next election. So it's interesting. It's interesting that we've, we're kind of seeing

00:15:23.120 his growth, so to speak. And who knows, maybe one day he will become a true social conservative.

00:15:27.800 Yeah. Maybe more importantly, maybe he becomes a Christian. I don't know. Who knows? You never 0.72

00:15:32.600 know. It seems like someone with nine children isn't pro abortion. Yeah. Feels that way.

00:15:37.840 Maybe not. But again, it's like, that's his choice. Like I used to say, and I've said this

00:15:41.820 on the show, I used to call myself pro choice, but like my choice would be life. Right. I've

00:15:47.340 like become more pro life over the course of the year, but just by researching things,

00:15:52.580 especially now, but like he can be pro choice and still be very pro life. Like if that makes

00:16:00.000 any sense, like pro life for his, for his own choices. Maybe he's pro choice for other

00:16:04.560 people, which is still not pro life. Yeah, absolutely. And he's not a Christian or a conservative,

00:16:11.260 like a social conservative. So we can't really hold him to that standard. Yeah, exactly.

00:16:14.720 Absolutely. So you're, yeah, you're absolutely right. Of course I am. Yeah. So maybe we should

00:16:18.540 talk about birth rates now that we're talking about abortion. Yeah. So apparently Elon Musk

00:16:24.600 is obsessed with population collapse. So just to quote him, he says, we should be much more

00:16:31.800 worried about population collapse. If there aren't enough people on earth, then there definitely

00:16:35.260 won't be enough for Mars. And apparently the US birth rate has been below minimum sustainable

00:16:40.720 levels for 50 years. Interesting. He is actually right. Scientific. Yeah. So he is right. He's

00:16:50.320 talking about the USA birth rate. Yeah. And then in the article, they're like, oh, the global birth

00:16:55.620 rate, this, and it's like, well, okay, right there. That's, and I think it's a really touchy subject

00:17:00.280 because to say that like third world countries, their birth rates are much higher than ours. So

00:17:08.420 you can say, no, the global population is increasing. It's, it's never been higher. Sure. But do we need

00:17:15.680 more and more poverty on the planet? That's the question. Like Elon Musk is saying, let's make America,

00:17:22.360 let's make America specifically have more people. And I think the argument for that might be, we can

00:17:29.680 help third world countries more if we have better doctors and scientists and engineers in America.

00:17:35.300 And it's not like it's our job to be the saviors of the world. But when you're in a third world country 1.00

00:17:40.280 and you're starving to death and you don't have the infrastructure and the money to support your

00:17:44.840 family, you, you might, you might be grateful for America's aid when they're like, oh, we're going to

00:17:50.620 send you this. We're going to help you that we're going to help you build clean water wells. Like a

00:17:53.500 lot of American charities go to Africa, African countries, and they build wells and they teach

00:17:58.900 them how to build more. Right. And then they're like, now you have water. Now you have clean water.

00:18:02.560 It's like, we're not better than you. We're just a little bit further down the development

00:18:06.320 like line. And we can help you get to where we are so that nobody's impoverished. Yeah. Like you're

00:18:12.000 trying to bless other people with the gifts you've been giving, like being born in the USA is a huge

00:18:16.220 blessing. And if you've been successful and you're living the American dream, why wouldn't you want to

00:18:20.300 help somebody else? Of course, I, I believe that helping should start at home in the, in your own

00:18:25.100 community. But of course we should branch out from there and help our fellow man in other countries.

00:18:31.120 American and first world countries having a very low birth rate and then third world countries who

00:18:35.820 don't have money having a high birth rate. That's long term. Yeah. Have you ever seen the movie

00:18:40.880 Idiocracy? No. It's funny. Okay. It's basically like, and it happens in America, but the premise is it's like

00:18:46.500 year 2030 or something, maybe further down the line and only stupid people like have reproduced and all 0.98

00:18:52.920 like smart educated people have decided that it's not the right time. So then the whole globe is just 0.99

00:18:57.660 like Homer Simpson's. Oh good. Yeah. So it's obviously just like about America. That is Elon Musk's biggest

00:19:03.100 fear. Yeah. You guys. Yeah. Um, so he's like educated people should be having children as well. Well, it's kind of

00:19:09.460 interesting too, because we talked about this in the last episode, but Bill Gates is pro depopulation

00:19:14.720 and he's another billionaire. And now we have the richest man in the world. He was like, no, we need

00:19:19.280 to populate the earth. And it's funny because, cause they're in North America. I've seen even

00:19:23.860 billboards encouraging people not to have kids because of the so-called climate crisis and stuff

00:19:28.180 like that. And he's all the time. Right. And he's actively like swimming upstream in this. And it's

00:19:33.260 kind of interesting, but I will say he is also, you know, creating a, like a strain of single

00:19:40.140 mothers. Like, it's like, cool, you're populating the earth, but you know, fatherlessness is also

00:19:45.000 a crisis in North America, which we've also talked about. Exactly. So it's like, it's a bit of a

00:19:49.500 double-edged sword. It kind of is. Cause like, okay, cool. Sure. These kids are going to inherit

00:19:53.500 great wealth, but they don't have their dad necessarily. And he can't possibly be a good father

00:19:59.440 to nine children. No one, it would be hard for anyone. Not only the richest, most busy

00:20:03.500 man on the planet. Right. Like I think he couldn't even maintain his relationship with

00:20:07.220 Grimes because he was, most of his work is in Texas and she's in LA. It's like, okay,

00:20:12.240 well maybe you guys shouldn't have had a bunch of kids when you were like, oh, but our lifestyles

00:20:17.180 don't really blend. It's like, are you 19? Exactly. Like it's just very, it's, it's kind of

00:20:22.980 icky, but it is kind of icky. Um, and I, maybe that's something he inherited from his father.

00:20:27.300 Maybe that's the trait. Woo! That's a doozy. Not all the genes are good guys. Yeah. Some

00:20:32.500 of them are from blue notes. Just kidding. Um, so, okay. The most obvious part of all this

00:20:40.740 is like news came out, I believe it was last week. Yeah. Um, and it might, we're filming

00:20:46.040 this a little early this week. So it was like two weeks ago. It might be two weeks ago by

00:20:49.080 now. Um, but Errol Musk, Elon's estranged father, um, admitted that in 2017,

00:20:57.000 or I guess he had, so in 2017 and then also three years ago, which I guess would have been

00:21:02.480 2019. Yeah. Um, he had, he's had two children now with his former stepdaughter. So you're

00:21:12.140 telling me, you know, Catherine, you know, that he had sex with this person's mommy and 1.00

00:21:18.460 then he had sex with them. Yeah. And he knew her since she was four years old. Okay. He says 1.00

00:21:25.960 that he barely raised her, that she was out of the house most of the time. Like he sounds

00:21:30.840 like such a jerk, honestly. Woo! He's clearly present in the lives of his children. Oh my 1.00

00:21:35.920 God. There's some quotes. Well, and apparently they're not together because she's quote 35

00:21:39.880 and it's like, okay, if she's, if she's 35, you're 76. He's 76. Maybe it's time to retire

00:21:44.520 your sperm. Yeah. Maybe. And apparently we'll get into another article. He's not ready necessarily. 0.99

00:21:48.640 No, he's not. He wants more children. But please, uh, read us a quote from this. So here are some

00:21:51.720 fun quotes from Errol Musk. Jana, his former stepdaughter came and spent a few days here

00:21:57.420 about six months ago and the kids were starting to get on my nerves. Then I missed them as soon

00:22:02.340 as they've gone. Isn't that just so typical? So basically it's not just such a man thing

00:22:08.560 to say. Yeah. That's just, well, and he's like this old man. Yeah. They were getting on your

00:22:13.100 nerves. Maybe you don't have them because I'm sure they can sense that you're irritated by

00:22:18.060 them. Yeah. That's really cute. And again, it goes back to my earlier point, like populate the

00:22:21.400 earth all you want, but you're just screwing up future generations by just having kids and 1.00

00:22:25.500 kind of abandoning them in a way. It's a weird like ego thing. Kind of. Like how many kids

00:22:29.760 have you had? I've had nine. I've had seven. Well, exactly. And he said that part of the

00:22:33.820 reason why he's passionate about this is because he, he created Elon Musk. So he wants to keep

00:22:38.640 creating more Elon Musk. But maybe Elon's a one-off guy. Like maybe he's, you know, like not

00:22:43.960 all your genes are good as I previously said. So maybe you shouldn't be passing them on willy

00:22:47.900 nilly. Yeah. Here's another one. Oh, good. This is a doozy. Okay. Errol said he hasn't

00:22:54.420 asked for a paternity test for his youngest daughter because, and now he quotes, she looks

00:23:00.580 just like my other daughters. Two of those daughters just so happen to be Jana's half 1.00

00:23:06.220 sisters. And no, they aren't pleased by this family development. What? Eh? I guess I get

00:23:12.840 it because he had sex with the mother. Maybe they had kids together. They must have. Yeah. They had 0.98

00:23:24.400 kids together. And then he had sex with not one of them, but like the, the mother of those 0.98

00:23:29.500 children's daughter from a previous marriage. So they're half sisters. So they're sisters. Yeah. 0.89

00:23:34.900 And then now his, his newest daughter looks just like their aunts. Well, that's just a

00:23:43.020 darn mess, isn't it? That is a mess. And I mean, to Elon's credit, he is mortified by this 0.98

00:23:51.380 announcement. Yeah. So we, so he's not completely crazy. Yeah. No. You know, cause when, cause,

00:23:56.020 but that's not something that they put in the headlines. They're like, Oh, Elon, Errol Musk,

00:23:59.620 Elon Musk's father just welcomed. They're trying to take him down with him. Yeah. Yeah. And he's

00:24:03.880 like, pause right there, please. I don't support that. Like he has his own issues perhaps, but

00:24:08.440 impregnating his stepdaughter is not one of them. Well, especially because one of the things he said

00:24:13.960 is the only thing we're on earth for is to reproduce. It's like, yeah. Okay. That's partially

00:24:18.840 why we're here. But like at 76, maybe. Yeah. Maybe you can retire. Yeah. You know, golf. New hobby,

00:24:26.200 you know, go to church. I don't know. Gardening. Yeah. Lawn bowling. Maybe. I'm excited to retire.

00:24:33.880 Or maybe, you know, instead of, you know, creating more children, just focus on raising

00:24:37.160 the ones you still have. You got a few young ones there. That's something else. I don't know.

00:24:42.040 Also, he, this is what my last quote from Errol Musk. Oh, good. This has been good.

00:24:45.960 It's been fun. I have about six people, women who claim that their child is my child now. He said,

00:24:52.180 calling them opportunists. However, he said that there was a period in Johannesburg in the eighties

00:24:55.960 that he was going out with different women every night. I had plenty of dates. So it's quite conceivable

00:25:01.120 that some of them couldn't come back and say, this is your child. Woo. He's a classy guy.

00:25:06.800 He's a classy guy. He is a classy guy. And I mean, it just speaks to the importance of

00:25:11.120 why we're supposed to have kids in the confines of marriage. You know, that's the example we should

00:25:16.220 set. We don't want to just create hundreds of kids who grew up without dads. And we know that the

00:25:19.980 nuclear family is the bedrock of a functioning society. And we know the importance of fathers at

00:25:24.140 home. So I think that's the biggest takeaway from both Elon and his father, because even though,

00:25:28.980 you know, Elon is doing many wonderful things, like your first priority as a human being is

00:25:33.980 being a dad. You'd hope. You'd hope. Yeah. Like they didn't ask to be born. And again,

00:25:39.680 we've talked about how they're going to inherit great wealth and stuff, but they're going to grow

00:25:44.680 up confused and a little screwed up potentially. And I think, I think we should care about that.

00:25:49.540 And he should be criticized for that. And we'll do it. And we will do it.

00:25:53.860 Because it's a chip. Yeah. Okay. Is that the shirt? I think that's the show. I think that's

00:25:58.680 the shirt. That was fun. Well, we did an Elon Musk deep dive. That was fun. That was fun.

00:26:04.560 Maybe he'll send us a check. He probably will not. Okay. Well, it's worth asking. But you can ask.
