Rebel News Podcast - Miss Understood No. 40 — There's Nothing Chic About Heroin

00:00:00.000 hello and welcome to misunderstood the show for the culturally politically misunderstood lady 0.92

00:00:24.500 gent binary non-binary binar it it there slurmer slut is that how it ends i guess so we are your hosts 0.99

00:00:38.700 i'm nat and i'm kat and today we're gonna be talking about so many things too many i'm gonna

00:00:45.380 read them because i forget trans people um um scientology uh fertility and probably a little

00:00:56.160 bit of covet just light topics just really keeping it light this week we're gonna keep it cute

00:01:01.140 covet but make it cute yeah exactly um but before we dive into all that we have a culture shock

00:01:06.800 moment of the week and it's gonna be take it away producer olivia

00:01:11.480 so a couple of people might have been surprised by my transgender pin that i put on this morning

00:01:17.500 i figured it's about time that i came out and talked about my gender identity i am trigender

00:01:24.780 which means like a triangle i have three genders male female and non-binary and the difference

00:01:31.300 between trigender and gender fluid is that i feel all three of these genders at the same time cut it

00:01:36.640 we don't care about all the time um well so that's the thing now trigender well i just wanted to

00:01:43.440 know kat do you feel erased as a non-binary person because it kind of seems like this person is trying

00:01:48.980 to minimize your existence uh yes yeah i feel like i feel physically i feel your pain as well

00:01:57.300 um it's unfortunate the lipstick is what i'm talking about it's unfortunate the lipstick is

00:02:03.040 unfortunate i mean necklace it's funny though that this person dresses like a woman yeah like a hundo 0.76

00:02:08.680 p i mean not a not it's not a great look but you're a woman you are a woman not all women have great

00:02:13.960 looks like no spoiler spoiler alert um anyway yeah that was that and it leads into our first topic

00:02:22.320 which is trans because you know we've never talked about this before no love we love to do new things

00:02:27.160 yeah we like to keep it fresh and young like us yeah um okay so our first article is uh what is it

00:02:34.740 okay right so it's not an article it's a thread on twitter it's right there i should be able to see

00:02:39.160 that um and it was a really interesting one i think you found this it was why are so many girls deciding

00:02:44.080 they'd rather be boys yeah and this is something we've touched on before but it was just a really

00:02:48.120 cool visual representation i guess of why women are uncomfortable with the female body and deciding to 0.84

00:02:56.220 eat their teats yeah they're eating their teats so there's they make like 15 points yeah um i i

00:03:02.600 highlighted a few of my favorites yeah let's hear them okay so uh they're asking questions of the

00:03:08.240 question is why are so many girls deciding to be boys um one of them is could it be society's toxic 1.00

00:03:13.880 expectations of women yeah i think so about that before yeah yeah it's probable and we'll talk about

00:03:19.620 it later yeah um another one is maybe they feel that they're not like other girls or being cis het is

00:03:24.640 boring and uncool oh yeah yeah why we talked about that endlessly because of tumblr you know these

00:03:29.220 white heterosexual females who grew up in upper middle class families are like i have no oppression 1.00

00:03:34.540 points how can i win some yeah too bad their families their parents aren't divorced okay uh could it be

00:03:40.620 regressive stereotypes they are being taught at school yeah yeah and by regressive stereotypes

00:03:45.780 it's like oh if you're a girl who doesn't like to wear skirts you're a boy it's like no no yeah no

00:03:52.640 you can like sports and trucks and stuff if you're a girl yes you can newsflash newsflash this is big

00:03:57.980 breaking news stuff yeah um could it be mom or dad wants attention or money yeah yeah i mean we see

00:04:03.900 that with um desi the the transgender drag queen who was like nine years old like dropping it in uh 0.82

00:04:11.320 strip clubs yeah and both of desi's parents are like on the spectrum of gender the gender spectrum 0.98

00:04:17.540 there's something there there's something and then the last one is or is it because greedy

00:04:21.960 doctors and pharmaceutical companies see a lifelong income stream for children going down this path

00:04:25.960 yes well just fantasy talks about this right yeah rogan the other and there was a detransitioner

00:04:31.540 who went on ali bestucky's podcast who spoke about how after eating her teats she went back to the

00:04:37.860 doctor and i guess obviously she had regret about this and the doctor basically said okay now you need

00:04:43.060 to get your hysterectomy and she was like well i don't want to do that and he's like well if you

00:04:47.100 don't you're gonna have cancer uh so it's like oh yeah like now you're gonna be a lifelong customer

00:04:52.500 whether you go through the surgery or not it's just it's just lining you up like cattle really

00:04:58.400 probably not something she was told before eating the teeth not in not in enough detail i'm sure it's

00:05:03.260 in the fine print somewhere but yeah it's like oh you didn't read the terms of service yeah it's like

00:05:06.960 no i'm 14 yeah sorry and it was 900 pages yeah and my mom really should have stopped it yeah um

00:05:13.360 yeah so it's an interesting thread you can find it at uh reality girl

00:05:17.920 wait what reality girl zine that's what i have um we'll take your word for it i don't know

00:05:26.420 anyway look up reality girl on twitter yeah you'll find it it's a it's a very beautiful visual actually

00:05:31.420 yeah yeah and it's very simple and something you can show your friends you know maybe it's a good way

00:05:35.360 to introduce them to the evils of the transgender movement okay or to just lose your friends or that 1.00

00:05:39.820 it works either way it's a win-win uh all right so we have another one here it's another win for

00:05:44.920 women uh biological male wins miss america in new hampshire teen beauty pageant so this is not new

00:05:49.780 news but we wanted to offer our take because uh yeah it's just i have lots of notes lots of thoughts 0.50

00:05:57.360 on this one i really just wanted to say this one thing please um he has boobs not because he's trans

00:06:04.280 i just don't get like if we're gonna allow a biological male to win a beauty pageant at least 1.00

00:06:11.340 be beautiful be beautiful like god minimum if we're gonna let men encroach on our spaces at least be

00:06:17.880 prettier than us like this guy entering like a female shot put maybe i'd believe it offensive yeah 1.00

00:06:25.260 but i believe it but i'd believe it i'd be like wow yep that mother effer can throw a ball heavy ball

00:06:31.080 but like this is a different story altogether yeah like i mean no woman in the history of

00:06:36.800 beauty passions has ever been this ugly and that's just objectively true that's a fact that's a fact

00:06:41.420 yeah that's another thing i wrote is like for a biological woman that like sorry a biological 1.00

00:06:46.280 woman that ugly would never win no or even be allowed to enter it would never be it would be 1.00

00:06:50.220 like sorry hun yeah track and field is down the street yeah like you enter a biological male who's 0.95

00:06:55.860 you know 75 pounds overweight looks like shrek i'm sorry shrek bod shrek bod shrek's actually

00:07:01.500 a little cuter shrek is he's cute he's cute he's also funny and courageous so like you know you know

00:07:07.260 i don't know this person that well but they're making a mockery of women and i mean just one more 1.00

00:07:12.440 thing on this then we'll move on but like this person uh whose name is brian newen what brian when

00:07:19.140 brian when brian that's how you pronounce it is when okay yeah yeah but brian brian it didn't

00:07:25.380 change their name i thought it was like brian or something maybe but it's anyway written as brian

00:07:29.600 okay well brian let me tell you something it's really unfair brian that you won a scholarship too

00:07:35.520 you took an opportunity away from a woman who maybe needed the money so i'm just it's great also

00:07:41.620 like side note did you know that dylan since dylan mulvaney since going and speaking with joe

00:07:46.860 brian at the white house is making like a million dollars a year in like endorsements

00:07:50.300 of course so this person is making a million dollars a million dollars i for being a woman 1.00

00:07:55.320 have you ever made a million dollars for being a woman because not yet not yet okay well hopefully

00:07:59.700 it's coming yeah all right all right moving on moving on to another super light super fresh cute

00:08:05.080 topic really cute scientology oh that's so cute like tom cruise right yeah exactly right so cute

00:08:10.920 oh um so not not cute not cute guys not cute we are being sarcastic there are sarcasms involved

00:08:17.900 um so right now scientology is always fun to talk about and we really should do a deep dive because

00:08:21.980 this is not a deep dive this should no dip this is a toe dip yeah we're dipping our toe we're not

00:08:26.720 even scratching the surface like there's no scratches it's a little cold we're not sure if we want

00:08:30.560 to dive in yeah because we don't know a lot yeah and we don't want to get murdered yeah 0.71

00:08:34.120 allegedly um yeah but right now danny masterson who played hide on that 70s show which sucks 0.62

00:08:42.360 because you know that was a funny show it was a funny show and he's a good character um he's on

00:08:46.160 trial for multiple rapes right now they call it sexual assault but apparently some of them are full

00:08:50.580 blown our word rapes yeah um and it's not getting a lot of media attention although i did find some

00:08:56.660 articles on it but it's like it's not getting like johnny depp amber her no but it's like okay she 0.92

00:09:02.180 pooed in a bed this guy's raping women yeah it seems like maybe a little like a little uh

00:09:08.240 spotlight yes it's kind of a big deal um but what brought us the so we wouldn't really know a lot 0.99

00:09:15.080 about it except for leah ramini who's a remini i don't know she's an actress she's an actress she 0.73

00:09:21.120 played what's her carry on uh king of the hill oh king of queens my bad yes king of queens um she

00:09:27.380 successfully left scientology many years ago and she's talked openly about it ever since she did

00:09:32.680 joe rogan a couple years ago and talked about it for like three hours she has a documentary too

00:09:36.080 yeah she is a really good source on scientology so if you go to her twitter at leah remini you can

00:09:41.460 learn more yes um but it's messed up yeah i mean maybe we should just back up for people who don't

00:09:48.400 know what scientology is right i'm just going to read wikipedia's definition it's weird it doesn't

00:09:55.560 really make sense i'm sure it's it's long please enlighten me so forgive me this is according to

00:10:02.520 wikipedia guys okay scientology teaches that a human is an immortal spiritual being called a fetan

00:10:08.420 that resides in a physical body and has had innumerable past lives some scientology texts are

00:10:14.680 only revealed after followers have spent more than two hundred thousand dollars in the organization

00:10:18.740 and it charges tens of thousands of dollars for access to these texts in what it calls

00:10:22.900 operating the 10 levels sorry if i'm feeding the den sure the organization has gone to considerable

00:10:30.500 lengths to try to keep these secrets but they are freely available on the internet these texts say

00:10:37.660 that the that lives preceding a fetan's arrival on earth were lived in extraterrestrial cultures 0.92

00:10:43.180 the scientology doctrine states any scientologist undergoing auditing will eventually come across

00:10:48.160 and recount a common series of events they include reference to an extraterrestrial life form called

00:10:52.960 xenu the secret scientology texts say that this was a ruler of a confederation of planets 70 million

00:11:00.060 years ago who brought billions of alien beings to earth and then killed them with thermonuclear weapons

00:11:06.560 i'm almost done bear with me despite being kept secret from most followers this forms the central

00:11:12.940 mythological framework of scientology's ostensible soteriology attainment of a status referred to by

00:11:20.520 scientologists as clear these aspects have become the subject of popular ridicule i wonder why

00:11:26.400 well so i don't know what any of that they really could have just condensed that to a kooky religion

00:11:32.300 that steals your money and imprisons you for life allegedly allegedly allegedly allegedly anyway um so

00:11:39.160 yeah now that that's all cleared up for you guys and now you know now you know um maybe we should

00:11:48.300 talk about her uh lisa ramini's twitter thread yes leah leah sorry yeah but lisa marie presley is

00:11:55.120 yes sorry that's part of it um too many l's yes um okay so do you wanna let's start with number one and

00:12:02.920 then we can yeah there's a lot there's so many so we're not gonna go through them all because there's

00:12:06.820 literally like i think it's 31 yeah in this thread so go back and read it yourself i have two okay

00:12:11.480 yeah let's hear your first one well they're the same ones you have i think well let's let's see

00:12:14.820 okay so she starts with did you know that if you're a scientologist you're forbidden from contacting law

00:12:19.900 enforcement when another scientologist has committed a crime against you i did not know that me either it

00:12:25.820 sounds like it's not oppressive at all and sounds like it's a just system that respects truth and

00:12:32.820 law and order so that's cool yeah yep there are more i didn't write them down uh let's see okay

00:12:43.040 there's another one uh so this is how scientologists are controlled according to ramini

00:12:48.760 scientology's policies written by founder l ron hubbard can never be altered and must be interpreted

00:12:54.220 literally allowing this criminal org to control members and insulate itself from bad pr so basically

00:13:00.520 they everyone protects everyone which is kind of not really protecting everyone if you're a victim

00:13:06.400 in the actual scientologist it's vagus rules yeah like what happens in scientology stays in

00:13:13.000 scientology including rape nice um yes so then there's another one you're forbidden from ever

00:13:19.500 reporting a fellow scientologist to law enforcement and you aren't allowed to sue scientologists unless

00:13:24.080 scientology officials first approve it sounds fair of course sounds tolerant yeah very and

00:13:30.460 um safe safe um and so so uh back to masterson yes he so there are five accusers um who are

00:13:42.620 claiming either sexual assault or rape three of the five were previously scientologists would have since

00:13:48.320 left and then two of them were just like girlfriends of his yeah but apparently scientology was pressuring

00:13:53.960 those girls to not quiet not to testify and lisa marie presley who's uh elvis presley's daughter was 0.96

00:14:01.820 who i guess is involved in scientology was asked to befriend or was already friends with them or

00:14:07.580 something was asked to encourage these girls to not testify as well right and she was subpoenaed to 0.99

00:14:13.360 testify and is like getting out of it somehow right it's very messy that's most of my notes here just

00:14:19.360 this is a mess it's a freaking mess it's really confusing because it's like how are these people

00:14:23.220 above the law that's what i don't understand about it like how can how can this small fringe

00:14:28.280 actual fringe minority be above the law it's it's so weird then the more you read like that's what

00:14:34.760 we're talking about just before we started we're like the more that we read about this the more

00:14:37.760 confusing confused and like the less you know yeah and there's just so many interesting things um

00:14:43.400 about it like one of the other things she says like everything is your fault because they never want

00:14:48.280 anything to be blamed on scientology however something good happens to you you aren't giving

00:14:52.180 credit scientology gets the credit so it's kind of like being in an abusive relationship that sounds

00:14:56.840 like an abusive relationship right like it's just it's very messed up and it must people must feel

00:15:01.860 so trapped like if you to grow up in this just seems completely i don't even know yeah it's amazing

00:15:07.520 that people make it out and i'm surprised this woman i'm surprised she's alive i know she must have

00:15:13.340 good security or say low lay low um yeah another one of her twitter threads on scientology was about

00:15:19.040 the disappearance of david miscavige he is the uh he's the leader of oh i guess this is the same

00:15:28.080 one anyways i think she has a separate one too yeah she did she did do a couple threads so his wife 0.99

00:15:32.640 david miscavige miscavige his wife he's the lead okay i'm sorry he he is the leader of scientology

00:15:40.220 currently his wife shelly has been missing since 2007 no one's seen her in public and apparently it

00:15:46.560 was like according to leah it was investigated but by a cop who has really close ties to scientology

00:15:53.520 and then they were they told the media they didn't even tell leah who took out a missing persons report

00:15:58.020 they released to the media oh she's fine and leah's like why wouldn't you tell me i am the one who was

00:16:03.780 looking for her like you didn't and they're like oh just drop it like she's been found but it's like

00:16:07.700 no one's seen her right it's super freaking weird that's so sus yeah anyways anyway um so

00:16:15.820 basically there's a lot here yeah and i don't i don't even like again we can't even really

00:16:21.400 we can't even really like we're probably butchering this a little because it's like

00:16:26.760 there's so much but it's something we just wanted to kind of yeah because it's in the news

00:16:32.200 yeah and you know we're we're not screwed yeah we're not screwed and one of the and one of the

00:16:38.360 things she said again in the end of this thread was one of the reasons i want everyone to pay

00:16:43.680 attention to this trial is because danny's defense attorney philip cohen is doing everything he can

00:16:47.540 to strip the involvement of scientology from this trial and she believes that they have a lot to do

00:16:54.300 with why you know certain things are coming out or aren't coming out and why certain witnesses may or

00:16:59.180 may not be testifying and stuff like that so it's interesting that they're trying to protect this

00:17:03.720 person and if he didn't do it like i believe we believe in the like due process i don't want someone

00:17:09.820 to go to prison if they're innocent but like at the same time you got to go through the process and

00:17:14.840 it can't be in there can't be any interference like it just makes no sense that's the thing like

00:17:19.380 if he didn't do it why are these women being pressured not to testify silence yeah exactly because like

00:17:25.740 again to talk about amber heard like they put her on the on the stand because she kind of hung herself 0.96

00:17:31.700 with her own noose or whatever yeah thing is like you let let them talk let their lies come out poke 1.00

00:17:36.460 holes in their stories if they're false but like to pressure them and and um scare them out of

00:17:42.720 testifying yeah pretty sketchy yeah it's just interesting that no one really comes out and

00:17:48.780 criticizes this religion very frequently either like you don't hear much about it but it seems to be a lot

00:17:54.180 more powerful despite the fact that i think there's only like 25 000 members worldwide or

00:17:58.700 something like that yeah so not a lot of people there's billions of people on the planet and yet

00:18:02.860 they're able to get away with this allegedly i don't know it's just very fascinating yep it's weird i

00:18:09.820 think we should do another like a deeper dive one day yes in it yeah um this is again a shallow swim

00:18:16.620 yes but anyway in the shallow crispy water do your research and if you guys know more about this than us

00:18:22.800 send us an email we'd love to hear your thoughts uh misunderstood at rebel news

00:18:26.820 misunderstood at rebel news.com we will we will reply to you she'll reply yeah yeah i'll reply okay

00:18:35.240 let's just skip the next the whole the whole scientology kids thing oh yeah yeah yeah i didn't

00:18:40.600 like that article yeah it's anyway okay it was just too much okay all right we're gonna talk about uh

00:18:45.720 what the heck is going on in the beauty industry yeah and why it why are mag major news publications

00:18:53.820 pushing heroin chic yeah my god okay so first article bye bye booty heroin chic is back

00:18:59.780 no it's not back um bring back the booty yeah is what i say um no no it's just it's i don't even know

00:19:09.480 where to start well it's pretty easy to become heroin chic when you're a million slash billionaire

00:19:14.040 a heroin addict or yes or you know you've literally bought whole new body parts to get

00:19:19.820 bella hadid's figure look at let's pull this she literally has look at her body hundreds of thousands 1.00

00:19:25.480 of dollars worth of like uh that's not a real body you guys there's nobody looks like that without help

00:19:31.780 okay nobody well certainly not her no maybe someone maybe one person maybe giselle back in the day

00:19:38.580 yeah not even though yeah no it's like nobody's like you know anyway anyways the point is is

00:19:43.900 um and we can just like i'll just throw this in there too like evie magazine who we really enjoy 1.00

00:19:50.280 a lot did the same exact thing they had an article saying heroin chic is set to make a comeback and

00:19:54.860 replace the big booty trend but will the body positivity movement shut it down and it's like

00:19:59.180 both of these articles so you kind of expect it from the new york post new york post is pretty trashy

00:20:03.220 often like sometimes they have good stuff but sometimes it's like why are you posting that yeah

00:20:07.820 i know absolutely they really they write about it all they love to walk that line yeah um but evie i'm

00:20:13.320 i'm so shocked that they've published this and it's not just the article title it in throughout the

00:20:19.040 article they're like oh like the fat positivity movement won't allow heroin chic which i guess we

00:20:26.540 haven't really like defined which is a trend that was very popular in the 90s like um kate moss by

00:20:32.220 kate moss like being just like super super gaunt and skinny yeah like a coat rack and remember like

00:20:36.620 misha barton from the oc like that she had a terrible eating disorder yeah yeah that's how she was able 0.94

00:20:41.520 to achieve that body you guys so now we're being told by magazines that are kind of sketchy and ones

00:20:46.740 that we really like that's like this is a thing yeah bodies are supposed to be in trend and now

00:20:51.220 being slim thick which was you know yeah before the before times now being hair heroin skinny is

00:20:59.000 trendy and we should all stop eating and pick up a how do you do heroin with a needle i don't know

00:21:05.060 how you do it yet you should pick up your needles we'll do it next week in next week's episode but

00:21:09.440 it's such a crappy take because yes the body positivity movement was a bit of a scam and i think

00:21:15.640 it did encourage people to live unhealthy lifestyles however like this is the exact it's

00:21:21.200 extremes it's one extreme to the next and we we can't live in extremes it's not healthy for anyone

00:21:26.140 and like it's really disappointing that evie who cares so much about women and health is 0.53

00:21:30.640 is kind of glamorizing this like they use terms like rocking the skinny look it's like it's okay

00:21:36.480 to be skinny but it's not okay to be anorexic no you're not healthy yeah like heroin chic is just

00:21:41.560 as bad as fat positivity it really is yeah fat like obesity promoting like lizzo and this are the 0.97

00:21:48.440 same things they're just on opposite it's like a circle yeah both will kill you they're both you'll

00:21:53.440 have a heart attack yeah for both of them and also like we've all known women who are severely

00:21:58.880 underweight but maybe not severely but like who are very slender by nature and i've had friends who

00:22:06.280 are really skinny and i've heard multiple people be like oh you're so skinny you're so skinny what's

00:22:10.080 wrong with you do you even eat you need to where's your booty this and that and it's like that hurts

00:22:13.580 them i've seen it they're like it's it's constant and then you have people who are like thicker and

00:22:19.300 i'm not talking obese and just like blatantly obese like curvier curvier thicker people who are

00:22:23.980 healthy who are on sports teams who yeah i eat salads and eat whatever and they're just thicker and

00:22:28.980 it's like oh like structure sometimes people are constantly women are constantly criticized for 1.00

00:22:33.220 their bodies it's like oh you're too fat you're too skinny too fat and now we're just we're doing it 0.96

00:22:37.360 again yeah it's so true it's so stupid i can't remember oh yes uh new york post said this uh 0.96

00:22:43.580 because there are so many different ways many celebrities are trying to achieve this look now 0.98

00:22:47.360 it's rumored that that chloe and kim removed their brazilian butt lifts uh that's which is a whole

00:22:54.020 nother whatever but probably not a rumor yeah it's probably not a rumor and and breast implants kim

00:22:59.960 kardashian is looking a little less busty these days but others are turning to more questionable lengths

00:23:05.020 to quickly shed pounds with suddenly trendy diabetes drugs such as ozempic and wegovi

00:23:10.460 and some melgutide or something yeah supposedly popular with celebrities dwindling in stock

00:23:16.900 so now we're making diabetes drugs trendy yeah so you have to take supplements to achieve this

00:23:23.140 impossible look i'm sure that's good for your heart i'm sure i'm sure it's good for your like

00:23:27.140 lymphatic system what you know what screw people who really need diabetes medicine they don't need it 0.93

00:23:32.180 no it's on trend it's a trend whatever let the kardashians need it to shed their fat butts yeah 0.98

00:23:37.620 it's disgusting whatever it's so disgusting and it's so unhealthy and these are like kim kardashian 1.00

00:23:42.820 is a mother like and so is chloe like oh my goodness ladies like and we've talked about this

00:23:47.760 before where it's like for a celebrity to be like okay but but big butts are in style i'm gonna get 1.00

00:23:52.960 a big butt and then now that big butts are not in style you're gonna remove your big butt the average 1.00

00:23:57.700 person who saved up all this money to get their stupid big butt yeah can't afford to just have it 1.00

00:24:02.780 removed tomorrow because it's no longer trendy like bodies aren't should not be in trend or out of 1.00

00:24:07.500 trend no the only thing that's trendy should just be like healthy healthy beautiful women yeah women 0.99

00:24:14.060 yeah women not not men yeah yeah i don't know and it's great it's just hard it's hard being a woman

00:24:19.820 sometimes it's hard you feel the pressure and like even when i was reading this i was like oh crap

00:24:24.140 yeah crap i'm screwed yeah we're all screwed so i guess just set your own trends and yeah keep 0.97

00:24:30.120 eating the cake in moderation ladies ladies okay and speaking of how hard it is to be a woman 1.00

00:24:35.260 um well we have this article about uh jennifer aniston reveals harrowing ivf journey yes um i didn't know

00:24:43.620 anything i didn't know any of this she kept it secret for a long time but apparently all these years

00:24:48.260 while people in the media mostly have been speculating about her fertility and if she's pregnant

00:24:52.420 in this and that one she's gonna have a baby she doesn't want babies or they called her selfish 1.00

00:24:55.360 yeah for not wanting kids yeah and that's why brad pitt left her that's what they said yeah

00:24:59.260 um apparently she was undergoing uh ivf this whole time and like that takes a toll on you emotionally

00:25:04.520 and like she's financially yeah she's rich so whatever yeah but like but still it just speaks to how

00:25:10.960 this woman who has the resources financially did it and still couldn't yeah exactly wasn't successful 1.00

00:25:17.180 so now the rest of us who are just maybe struggling with infertility well good luck because it's like

00:25:23.240 the outcome's not great if this woman can literally spend millions of dollars yeah i just it's such a 1.00

00:25:27.900 scam it's it's a scam and i feel bad for her me too that all these years people have been speculating

00:25:32.920 about why she hasn't had kids and blaming her for this and that and it's like it's just fine she's

00:25:38.580 just one celebrity her life goes on she's probably pretty glamorous but like i'm sure it happens on a 1.00

00:25:44.280 micro scale with the women all the time where it's like oh they've been married for a while 1.00

00:25:48.040 where's their baby people always criticize people for their fertility and they always blame the woman 1.00

00:25:52.900 yeah and it's like hello yeah men can be infertile too guys oh yeah yeah yeah anyway yeah um and then

00:26:01.540 there's this other article that just has my blood berlin uh city hall to draft bylaw restricting how

00:26:07.980 graphic anti-abortion flyers are distributed in calgary well at least they admitted it was graphic

00:26:12.780 oh my god that's nice this is so i've seen this i've seen this on twitter people saying oh people

00:26:18.060 are handing out these graphic flyers you should be warned like there should be a law preventing it and 0.96

00:26:22.580 i i was like are you crazy like you're gonna you're gonna kill the baby that's fine yeah it's fine but 0.99

00:26:30.540 showing a picture of how it's done that's illegal that's called turning a blind eye that's crazy yeah 1.00

00:26:35.780 it's absolutely like if you're gonna get an abortion fine but at least you should know how the sausage is 0.82

00:26:39.980 made yeah it's so true and i think like part of the reason why pro-life activists do these types

00:26:45.200 of campaigns where they hand out those flyers or they do those billboards and posters is because

00:26:48.720 most people don't know how gruesome an abortion is and you should have informed consent if you're

00:26:53.740 gonna go get an abortion like you just said you gotta know what's going on down there it ain't pretty 0.99

00:26:58.260 it ain't pretty no and i googled um how an abortion is done and it took me to planned parenthood and of

00:27:05.320 course there's no pictures no there's no pictures just like pretty little language yeah and they they

00:27:09.220 use the language as removing the pregnancy like that's not even grammatically correct is it the

00:27:14.580 pregnancy like the pregnancy is like a thing you can just remove it's just it's more spiritual than

00:27:18.960 anything it's disgusting yeah um and um yeah and then i googled um how sausage is made and there are

00:27:29.200 very graphic pictures of that right just as a comparison because it's like i'm just using that

00:27:33.180 as a like an analogy analogy but it's like they have no problem showing you pig intestines yeah yeah

00:27:38.180 and being like oh peta says you shouldn't eat pig intestines that's not look how gross it is but if you

00:27:43.060 want to know how an abortion is like done a procedure is done you have to go down so far to find anything

00:27:50.580 with photos in it yeah um all of the top searches were planned parenthood and na is it's all by design

00:27:57.360 friends yes exactly because it's just like and it's all from the women's woman's perspective it's just

00:28:02.120 like you will lay on the thing it's very safe well what about the baby no it's so true and it's super

00:28:08.500 sussed that the government's trying to conceal the truth about the horrors of abortion yeah that's what

00:28:12.280 you guys are doing and yeah it is uncomfortable to look at but sometimes we need to be uncomfortable

00:28:16.840 like sometimes it's okay to see something and be like wow maybe i should reflect a little and

00:28:21.960 do my own research and if you go through with it that's between you and god whatever but know what

00:28:28.260 you're doing yeah like like you can't ignore what's happening inside of you it's just when you

00:28:32.440 get your hair yeah imagine you went to the hairstylist and you're like i want to go full blonde like

00:28:37.620 not blonde and they're like okay well you're like will this damage my hair at all and they're like

00:28:41.200 that's fine you're bald the next day and then your hair breaks and you're bald and you have

00:28:45.320 damage for life this is another fun thing scalp irritation um that the it's terrible i wish that

00:28:52.240 on no one so counselor jennifer winas who filed the motion in september calling for the city to

00:28:58.340 introduce these rules said that she equated the images to pornography or gore the images of the 1.00

00:29:03.920 dead fetus yeah uh that's what you're doing yeah like it is yeah it is gory like pornography gross

00:29:12.140 like gross analogy so i guess she's just admitting that abortion is disgusting i don't know if you 0.55

00:29:16.460 guys this is what you guys are trying to do but you're kind of being ironic yeah like you're kind

00:29:20.960 of helping the pro-lifers out there buddy anyway jennifer do it but don't look at it yeah close your eyes

00:29:26.720 and just suction that thing out of there it's just so funny almost like almost almost funny

00:29:31.700 anyway it's just horrible keep handing out your flyers folks because they work i believe they work

00:29:36.440 yeah all right okay we're gonna move on to covid real quick because we don't have much time left

00:29:40.580 yes um but the sag aftra s-a-g-a-f-t-r-a president fran drescher celebrates disney dropping vaccine

00:29:49.880 mandates if anyone doesn't remember fran drescher she was in the nanny i think that's a show from like

00:29:55.100 oh yeah she was also in beauty beautician in the beast i loved that movie so much she talks like 0.89

00:29:59.780 that like hey like that that lady love her yeah love her but i didn't know that she was based so 1.00

00:30:06.400 her quote um she she tweeted at disney she said at disney pulls the plug on vaccine mandates

00:30:12.040 exclamation point way to go mickey and then in a video she followed up to say i do think that every

00:30:17.000 human on the planet can take one vaccine is ludicrous and to make that one vaccine the criteria for who is

00:30:22.740 allowed to work travel dine go to theater etc is an infringement on the disabilities act the freedom

00:30:26.960 of religion and body sovereignty yeah based yeah i mean way to go it always did strike me as odd that

00:30:34.220 like athletes and actors were being forced to take the vaccine because they need their bodies like

00:30:38.600 literally every they they need their entire body to perform so it makes no sense that we would be

00:30:43.980 putting these people at risk like it's just it's interesting like i don't think anyone should have

00:30:48.620 been forced to take it but especially these people in a way because you're like what do you do when tom

00:30:53.060 cruz ain't there like how justin bieber had palsy yeah like he had to cancel his tour yeah i mean that's

00:30:59.980 crazy not that we know why no we don't know why we don't know why we don't know why and his wife had 0.68

00:31:04.920 a stroke we don't know why yeah so it wasn't because of the vaccine get your boosters okay guys get your

00:31:09.860 boosters they're safe and effective um and we'll just touch on this yeah yeah very quickly there's a lot

00:31:16.000 but basically right now in canada there is a children's tylenol shortage and advil i guess

00:31:21.920 um so any fever pain medication for children is like very hard to find actually i have some because

00:31:28.280 my friend's mom lives in the boonies so there was she brought some for me which is super sweet

00:31:33.260 um don't know if i actually want to give it to my kid though that's fair not sure about that i still

00:31:38.340 have to do some research on that um but it's nice to have the option it's nice to have the option

00:31:41.980 because if if your kid has a really severe fever it could be life-saving yeah but i was doing a

00:31:46.940 little research and apparently there are tons of ways that you can help reduce a fever for a kid

00:31:51.520 or for yourself naturally and this is not my medical advice okay she's not a biologist i am not a

00:31:56.940 biologist like if your kid is sick please call a doctor i'm not or call cat at six no okay but this

00:32:02.700 this comes from a website called webmd no i'm just kidding yeah uh hold on it's uh it's just it's a

00:32:11.620 website yeah but we'll find it later it's cited it cites the american academy of pediatricians okay

00:32:19.360 so it's not a kooky website seems pretty reliable and i'm just gonna say this again not a doctor not

00:32:23.960 telling you what to do but these are do it no these are things you can do if you or your kid has a

00:32:28.420 fever you can dress lightly create moving air with a fan cold compress stay hydrated and prevent

00:32:33.480 physical exertion and apparently according to this pediatric website a lot of this will

00:32:38.580 like take care of you until your fever passes naturally right and when i had covid last year

00:32:45.240 i'm gonna tell you a funny story i always thought that taking a hot bath was like a really good idea

00:32:49.640 for when you're sick so i had a fever and i got in a really hot bath and then i hallucinated because

00:32:54.800 i was so hot oh my gosh and then later on i read that that's not what you're supposed to do but

00:32:59.820 she still survived i survived i'm thriving but i was like oh just like punch it to the limit and like

00:33:05.520 kick the the the fever out it didn't work i felt a lot worse after doing that and i was seeing things

00:33:12.520 and hearing things so maybe don't do that cautionary tale of that cautionary tale down yes and again if

00:33:18.420 it's really bad please go to a doctor yes my god um but it's like are people just buying these

00:33:25.300 medicines like toilet paper gate circa 2020 like people apparently yes and i mean come on guys don't

00:33:31.760 get greedy like if you don't need something don't buy it yeah because you you could literally be

00:33:36.960 harming someone's life exactly and if maybe if you think you might need it but you don't have any like

00:33:41.520 wait and see and like call a friend if they have a pill or two like yeah worst case scenario call the

00:33:46.500 doctor exactly the doctor should be able to give you it and also um this is interesting i just heard

00:33:51.540 about this today there's actually a lawsuit currently going on in this in new york about tylenol and links

00:33:58.180 to autism squeeze me yeah so apparently women who take tylenol during pregnancy there is a really strong

00:34:06.280 connection between their that and their children being autistic or having adhd wow and then i so so this

00:34:13.100 is a thing i found it on multiple sources and then i just was like hmm so i'm pregnant so whenever i

00:34:17.900 have a question about what can i do i google it it's like can i take tylenol yeah it's like i'm like

00:34:22.920 can i take tylenol when you're pregnant and it's like yes apparently 65 of women who are pregnant take 1.00

00:34:28.680 a set of metafene that's a scam that's so it's absolutely terrifying because like as a pregnant

00:34:33.100 person i literally use google all the time i'm like oh can i do this and it's like yeah sure and i'm

00:34:37.180 like okay what the heck we can't even trust google anymore well i'm just kidding but you know what i

00:34:42.400 mean though it's like where do we go like gosh you just have to like pray to god it's not just that

00:34:46.720 as doctors too like this article i was reading was like it was on i forget but it was like oh doctors

00:34:52.320 say tylenol even extra strength tylenol is safe during pregnancy and it's like but will anyone be

00:34:58.100 held liable for this well hopefully i don't know with this class i guess so but it's like too little

00:35:02.680 too late at that point well that's the thing so it's like money's not gonna money's not gonna save

00:35:06.640 your kid from that like that's just so horrible it's disgusting so you have to really do dive into

00:35:12.380 things when yeah yeah gosh there's just you can't trust anyone except for us certainly not her it's 0.97
