Rebel News Podcast - MUST-SEE： Full investigative documentary into the source of the Wuhan virus

00:00:00.000 Hello, my rebels. Today, we have a special presentation, and boy, you got to see it with

00:00:04.820 your own eyes, but I think it'll still work as a podcast. We have the rights to put behind our

00:00:13.020 paywall the Epoch Times documentary into the source of the Wuhan coronavirus. We interviewed

00:00:20.780 the narrator and host of this investigation on the show the other day, and afterwards I wrote

00:00:25.240 to him and said, hey, can we put your show up to show it to more people? He said, okay, so it's

00:00:30.780 our podcast today, and I encourage you to view this whole thing on YouTube with your own eyes.

00:00:39.500 Of course, you can view all our podcasts with your eyes in their video form by becoming a subscriber

00:00:45.780 to Rebel News Plus. Just go to rebelnews.com. It's eight bucks a month, a bargain if I may say so

00:00:51.200 myself. Okay, so here is the Epoch Times presentation. Let me encourage you to go to

00:00:57.760 their Epoch Times YouTube channel. They are an outstanding source of information on China in

00:01:05.140 these dark days, so I highly recommend them. Okay, here's their documentary.

00:01:09.680 Tonight, we bring you the full investigative documentary into the source of the Wuhan virus.

00:01:30.740 It's April 10th, and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.

00:01:32.780 Why should others go to jail when you're a biggest carbon consumer I know?

00:01:38.620 There's 8,500 customers here, and you won't give them an answer.

00:01:42.680 The only thing I have to say to the government about why I publish it is because it's my bloody

00:01:47.560 right to do so.

00:01:53.660 Hello, my friends, and happy Passover and happy Easter to all of you. We gave our team the day

00:01:58.160 off today, but we made arrangements to show you the full documentary broadcast by the Epoch Times

00:02:03.480 about the true origins of the Wuhan virus. I think once you see this movie, you will call it the Wuhan

00:02:09.260 virus, or perhaps what the Epoch Times itself says, the Chinese Communist Party virus or CCP virus.

00:02:17.100 Earlier this week, we interviewed the host and narrator of the movie, and afterwards, he gave us the

00:02:22.620 right to show you the whole thing behind our paywall. It's just under an hour long, so maybe pause the

00:02:27.780 video, get yourself a cup of tea or something, and settle in for what I think is the most serious

00:02:33.020 attempt to date to get to the bottom of this story. I'll see you on the other side. Until then, enjoy

00:02:39.040 tracking down the origin of Wuhan coronavirus.

00:02:44.680 I watch CNN, I watch Fox, I watch CBS, and in this case, there's a lot of things not being said.

00:02:49.260 It almost certainly is a recombination event that was laboratory-driven.

00:03:07.500 This is just the essential nature of Chinese communism. Chinese communism is evil. 0.98

00:03:13.220 Every person that harms is directly attributable to the Chinese communist party. 0.90

00:03:19.220 I began looking into the origin of the now widely known coronavirus in early February,

00:03:45.500 with its timing amid the Hong Kong protests, the Taiwan elections, and the U.S.-China trade.

00:03:51.240 My name is Joshua Phillip. I'm an investigative reporter at the Epoch Times in New York,

00:03:56.700 writing about the Chinese Communist Party's programs of espionage and unconventional warfare

00:04:01.480 for well over a decade.

00:04:04.280 Videos and messages from Chinese citizens leaking through the censorship suggested the situation

00:04:10.060 was much worse than what the regime was reporting.

00:04:12.620 As my research progressed, initial answers turned into more questions.

00:04:18.200 I soon realized there was much more to the story than we were being told.

00:04:23.440 Today, the coronavirus is impacting over a hundred countries around the world.

00:04:28.360 Billions of lives are at risk.

00:04:30.200 And from what is said by the Chinese Communist Party,

00:04:32.680 this allegedly started spontaneously in the seafood market in Wuhan, China.

00:04:37.840 Wuhan is the capital of Hubei province, the largest city in central China.

00:04:49.200 Huanan Seafood Market is located in Jianghan district of Wuhan city.

00:04:53.900 It is a large, comprehensive market that includes pork and a variety of frozen seafood,

00:04:58.960 flavored spices, as well as some game meats.

00:05:01.880 The first thing that received public attention about the epidemic

00:05:05.440 was an internal notice from the Wuhan Health Commission.

00:05:09.200 There has been a continuous occurrence of pneumonia cases of unknown cause.

00:05:13.780 The notice issued on December 30, 2019,

00:05:17.080 clearly required all medical units to report similar cases of unknown pneumonia.

00:05:22.460 The notice started spreading online.

00:05:24.540 And on December 31, 2019,

00:05:27.440 the Wuhan Health Commission issued a public notice for the first time

00:05:32.040 saying that some medical institutions found a link

00:05:35.460 between the pneumonia cases and the Huanan Seafood Market.

00:05:39.660 However, the notice pointed out that there was no evidence

00:05:42.080 of obvious human-to-human transmission

00:05:44.140 and no infection among medical personnel.

00:05:46.860 On January 1, 2020,

00:05:48.940 the Huanan Seafood Market posted a notice of closure.

00:05:51.760 This was followed by a thorough cleanup of the market,

00:05:55.360 which as an investigative reporter seemed rushed.

00:05:59.260 Guan Yi, a well-known Hong Kong expert,

00:06:02.040 echoed my concern that the move was like destroying a crime scene.

00:06:06.360 Since then, Wuhan officials have repeatedly said

00:06:09.340 that most cases of pneumonia in Wuhan

00:06:11.840 have a history of exposure to the Huanan Seafood Market.

00:06:15.240 On January 26,

00:06:16.700 the Institute of Virology of China CDC

00:06:19.220 announced that 33 of the 585 environmental samples

00:06:23.760 from the Huanan Seafood Market

00:06:25.360 were found to contain the novel coronavirus nucleic acid.

00:06:30.040 And the virus was successfully isolated

00:06:32.260 from the positive culture samples,

00:06:34.440 suggesting that the virus originated

00:06:36.260 from wild animals sold at the market.

00:06:38.720 At this point,

00:06:40.080 Huanan Seafood Market being the source of the epidemic

00:06:42.780 became an official conclusion.

00:06:44.500 A few days later, however,

00:06:46.560 a report from the journal Science published online

00:06:49.140 challenged that story.

00:06:50.920 The report cited a paper in The Lancet,

00:06:53.460 one of the world's top medical journals,

00:06:55.440 and questioned whether Wuhan's novel coronavirus pneumonia

00:06:59.000 could not have originated at the market.

00:07:02.900 The paper, titled

00:07:03.880 Clinical Features of Patients Infected

00:07:06.180 with a 2019 Novel Coronavirus in Wuhan, China,

00:07:09.320 was published in The Lancet on January 24.

00:07:12.200 The first author of the paper is

00:07:14.740 Huang Chaolin,

00:07:16.200 Deputy Director of Jin Yintan Hospital,

00:07:20.460 the first designated hospital

00:07:22.120 for treatment of unknown pneumonia in Wuhan.

00:07:24.760 Why would this come as a challenge

00:07:26.120 to the official narrative?

00:07:27.840 I think this journal article is very important.

00:07:30.560 It reveals a lot of important information.

00:07:33.100 For example, this paper talks about

00:07:34.720 the first patient onset

00:07:35.920 was actually on December 1st.

00:07:37.980 These patients were not related to

00:07:41.520 the Huanan Sifu market.

00:07:44.060 And also, no epidemiological association

00:07:46.480 was found between the first patient

00:07:48.860 and subsequent patient.

00:07:50.860 And then also, on this paper,

00:07:52.140 they talk about on December 10th,

00:07:53.960 there were three more onset cases,

00:07:56.380 two of which were not related

00:07:58.100 to the Huanan Sifu market wholesale.

00:08:00.400 Major discovery is that a total of 41 patients

00:08:03.280 were counted in this paper,

00:08:04.760 and 14 of them proved to be unrelated

00:08:07.340 to the seafood market,

00:08:09.220 accounting for more than one-third.

00:08:11.780 No one sells bats at the seafood market, too.

00:08:14.640 And the official from CDC didn't mention

00:08:17.440 they find any bats in the seafood market, too.

00:08:20.520 Certainly, the Lancet paper showing that

00:08:22.880 supposed patient zero

00:08:24.620 was nowhere near the market.

00:08:27.760 Secondly, that there are no bats

00:08:31.100 in the seafood market

00:08:32.800 or anywhere close.

00:08:34.820 The idea of the spread

00:08:36.380 so fast through a population

00:08:38.420 just the way it was said

00:08:40.280 through the seafood market

00:08:41.800 is highly unlikely and improbable.

00:08:45.940 On January 29th,

00:08:47.840 the Lancet republished an analysis

00:08:49.420 of 99 confirmed cases

00:08:51.580 at Jin Yin Tan Hospital,

00:08:53.740 of which 50 had no history of exposure

00:08:56.060 to the seafood market.

00:08:57.680 According to the New England Journal,

00:08:59.260 of the 425 cases confirmed,

00:09:02.940 45 cases onset before January 1st

00:09:06.260 had no history of exposure

00:09:07.860 to the seafood market.

00:09:09.560 Notably, the authors

00:09:10.680 of the two Lancet papers

00:09:12.000 in the New England Journal of Medicine

00:09:13.660 are doctors and medical experts

00:09:15.640 in mainland China.

00:09:17.080 Daniel Lucey, an epidemiologist

00:09:19.160 at the University of Georgetown,

00:09:21.320 said in response to the Lancet paper

00:09:23.200 that if the data were accurate,

00:09:25.320 the first case would have been infected 0.51

00:09:26.960 by the virus already in November 2019

00:09:29.880 because of the incubation period

00:09:32.180 between infection and symptoms.

00:09:34.320 This would mean that the virus

00:09:35.560 was quietly spreading between people

00:09:37.400 in some parts of Wuhan

00:09:38.640 before the cluster of cases

00:09:40.620 with a history of exposure.

00:09:42.560 The Huanan seafood market

00:09:43.800 began on December 15.

00:09:46.820 The first expert group

00:09:48.700 from the National Health Commission

00:09:50.280 arrived in Wuhan

00:09:51.240 as early as December 31st, 2019.

00:09:53.720 The expert panel established

00:09:55.560 a set of diagnostic criteria

00:09:57.560 after investigating

00:09:59.060 Jinyin Tan Hospital of Wuhan

00:10:01.020 that stipulated a history of contact

00:10:03.620 with Huanan's seafood market,

00:10:06.020 the person having a fever,

00:10:07.760 and displaying the whole genome sequence.

00:10:10.720 All three standards have to be met

00:10:12.580 to confirm a case.

00:10:16.100 This standard was used

00:10:17.660 until a second group of experts,

00:10:19.520 including Zhang Nanchan,

00:10:20.880 arrived in Wuhan on January 18th

00:10:23.880 and made a revision.

00:10:25.980 Why did the panel impose

00:10:27.340 a history of seafood market exposure

00:10:29.600 as a criteria of diagnosis,

00:10:32.560 knowing that at least a third of the cases

00:10:35.020 were unrelated to the seafood market?

00:10:37.000 They clearly know about 14 patients

00:10:41.220 not related to Huanan's seafood market at all.

00:10:44.560 That clearly means

00:10:45.400 another source of outbreak.

00:10:47.380 I think somehow

00:10:48.300 this could be a malfeasance

00:10:49.920 or somewhat intentionally cover up

00:10:52.020 some important source of infection.

00:10:54.100 It can go a long way

00:10:55.680 to covering up the actual source

00:10:58.220 by imposing a false place

00:11:00.820 and you're not looking

00:11:02.240 at the actual victims.

00:11:04.300 then you're only allowed

00:11:06.000 to find your keys

00:11:08.200 under the light post.

00:11:09.980 The numbers that we're getting

00:11:11.100 from China

00:11:11.640 about new infections and deaths

00:11:13.580 are highly suspicious.

00:11:15.800 We know that Beijing,

00:11:16.920 for six weeks,

00:11:17.760 in December and January,

00:11:19.420 suppressed information

00:11:20.420 of the epidemic.

00:11:22.280 And then when they officially

00:11:23.840 acknowledged it on January 20,

00:11:26.320 they then started a campaign

00:11:28.220 of suppression of information.

00:11:30.080 We know that

00:11:30.820 because the central leading group

00:11:32.760 that was announced on January 26

00:11:35.040 has a nine-person roster

00:11:37.060 and it's very heavy

00:11:38.520 with propaganda officials.

00:11:40.120 Indeed,

00:11:40.920 the vice chairman of the group

00:11:42.960 is the Communist Party's propaganda czar.

00:11:45.920 It appears that

00:11:46.920 the party's main goal here

00:11:49.100 is suppression of information,

00:11:51.120 controlling the narrative.

00:11:52.280 That's more important to them

00:11:53.820 than actually ending the epidemic.

00:11:56.440 I was in China

00:11:57.200 when SARS happened

00:11:58.300 and we were evacuated

00:11:59.640 and it's the same,

00:12:00.400 it was the exact same thing.

00:12:01.960 There was no transparency.

00:12:03.420 They tried as long as they could

00:12:04.940 to cover it up

00:12:05.620 until finally it was just like

00:12:07.940 with the coronavirus,

00:12:09.280 they could no longer cover it up

00:12:10.840 and then they proceeded to act.

00:12:12.800 I mean,

00:12:13.060 I think from my perception

00:12:14.720 back then,

00:12:16.200 their response to it

00:12:17.260 is exactly the same.

00:12:18.280 On January 10th,

00:12:29.480 China disclosed

00:12:30.260 the full genome sequence

00:12:31.820 of the Wuhan novel coronavirus

00:12:33.640 and many of the world's

00:12:35.140 top virologists

00:12:36.100 began analyzing it.

00:12:38.960 As early as January 7th,

00:12:41.520 academic Zhang Yongzhen

00:12:43.360 from the National Institute

00:12:44.760 of Communicable Disease Control

00:12:46.380 and Prevention,

00:12:47.500 along with the School of Public Health

00:12:49.300 of Fudan University,

00:12:51.320 submitted a joint paper to Nature.

00:12:53.600 The paper was published

00:12:54.860 on February 3rd

00:12:56.300 and pointed out

00:12:57.460 that the Wuhan coronavirus

00:12:58.860 is closely related

00:13:00.380 to COV ZC45

00:13:02.720 and COV ZXC21,

00:13:06.540 two viruses sampled from bats

00:13:09.160 in Zhushan

00:13:10.200 by the People's Liberation Army.

00:13:13.320 The Wuhan coronavirus

00:13:14.480 has an 89.1% nucleotide similarity

00:13:19.000 to the COV ZC45 virus

00:13:22.460 and even exhibits 100%

00:13:25.620 amino acid similarity

00:13:27.380 in the NSP7 and E proteins.

00:13:32.700 Shortly after the paper

00:13:34.180 was published,

00:13:35.020 other scientists use BLAST,

00:13:37.320 a program developed

00:13:38.640 by the National Institute of Health

00:13:40.460 and the National Center

00:13:41.620 for Biotechnology Information

00:13:43.340 to compare the viral sequence

00:13:46.240 based on the data

00:13:47.440 submitted by Chinese authorities

00:13:48.720 on January 12th.

00:13:50.560 The results matched

00:13:52.120 with Zhang's findings.

00:13:54.500 Another scientist,

00:13:56.380 Lu Raojian,

00:13:57.360 from the Chinese Center

00:13:58.200 for Disease Control and Prevention

00:13:59.660 and their team

00:14:00.660 also published a paper

00:14:01.920 in the Lancet

00:14:02.500 on January 30th.

00:14:03.460 The paper stated

00:14:05.320 that the Wuhan virus

00:14:06.680 has an 88% similarity

00:14:08.920 to two bat-derived

00:14:10.740 SARS-like coronaviruses

00:14:12.840 collected in Zhushan,

00:14:15.640 Zhejiang province of China.

00:14:17.640 The earliest discovery

00:14:19.320 of this bat-derived virus 0.93

00:14:20.820 is by an expert

00:14:21.760 from the Research Institute

00:14:23.260 for Medicine

00:14:23.920 of Nanjing Command.

00:14:25.800 A paper published in 2018

00:14:27.220 states that scientists

00:14:28.380 from this institute

00:14:29.460 detected many SARS-like coronaviruses

00:14:32.680 in bats from Zhushan City,

00:14:35.800 also known as

00:14:36.540 bat-like coronavirus,

00:14:38.900 Zhaoshan virus.

00:14:40.820 In short,

00:14:41.500 scientists found

00:14:42.280 the Wuhan coronavirus,

00:14:43.960 the current pandemic,

00:14:45.420 is highly similar

00:14:46.600 to a bat SARS-like coronavirus 0.56

00:14:49.620 previously discovered

00:14:51.240 by the Nanjing

00:14:52.260 Military Research Institute,

00:14:54.440 showing 100% amino acid similarity

00:14:57.600 in NSP7

00:14:59.120 and envelope protein,

00:15:01.180 the E-protein.

00:15:01.960 What does this high similarity reveal?

00:15:06.240 Hard to see a protein

00:15:07.820 is 100% identical

00:15:09.360 when the virus jumps species.

00:15:11.500 And so that was suggesting

00:15:12.880 maybe the virus

00:15:14.520 could be generated

00:15:15.400 with a reverse-engineered process.

00:15:17.660 I certainly believe

00:15:18.760 that the 100% amino acid similarity

00:15:21.960 says it can't possibly

00:15:23.700 be a natural mutation.

00:15:26.100 It almost certainly

00:15:27.140 is a recombination event

00:15:28.660 that was laboratory-driven.

00:15:31.960 On January 21st,

00:15:37.820 researchers from the

00:15:39.480 Institut Pasteur,

00:15:41.220 Shanghai,

00:15:42.340 Chinese Academy of Sciences

00:15:43.720 published a paper

00:15:44.640 in Science China Life Sciences

00:15:46.780 that mentioned

00:15:47.840 an important phenomenon.

00:15:49.120 The sequence of a key part

00:15:51.560 of S-protein of Wuhan virus

00:15:53.560 has high homology

00:15:55.160 with the SARS virus.

00:15:57.980 What are S-proteins?

00:15:59.660 In the well-known coronavirus picture,

00:16:02.500 they are little mushrooms

00:16:03.440 attached to the surface

00:16:04.520 of the virus.

00:16:05.820 These S-proteins, 0.56

00:16:07.140 also known as spine proteins

00:16:08.760 or spike proteins,

00:16:10.640 are the most important tool

00:16:12.760 for the coronavirus

00:16:13.760 to invade human cells.

00:16:16.020 If we compare the receptor,

00:16:18.060 ACE2,

00:16:18.940 on the cell surface

00:16:19.840 of human bodies

00:16:20.700 to a lock,

00:16:21.800 this S-protein

00:16:23.000 is the key,

00:16:24.240 which can unlock

00:16:25.120 this lock

00:16:25.680 on the cell surface

00:16:26.760 and then invade into the cell

00:16:28.660 to propagate

00:16:29.380 and destroy it. 0.89

00:16:32.860 That means

00:16:33.780 virus now can infect

00:16:36.140 human cells much easier.

00:16:37.860 That's probably also

00:16:38.560 one of the important reasons

00:16:39.820 that it's contributing

00:16:40.540 to multi-organ failure

00:16:42.040 when people have

00:16:42.700 a very severe disease.

00:16:44.240 They can spread out

00:16:44.980 in the human body

00:16:45.700 much faster.

00:16:46.700 Well, the S-proteins,

00:16:48.220 the high similarity

00:16:49.800 of the S-proteins

00:16:51.080 from SARS-1

00:16:52.640 to now SARS-2,

00:16:54.320 that's your spike protein.

00:16:56.420 That's the lock and key.

00:16:58.100 That's going to be

00:16:58.780 what drives it

00:17:00.560 right through human cells.

00:17:02.680 And so we know

00:17:03.460 that's the pathogenic

00:17:05.120 spike protein

00:17:06.520 for the original SARS.

00:17:09.000 So now you're allowing

00:17:10.160 that access

00:17:11.560 to human tissues

00:17:13.140 because the spike proteins

00:17:15.360 of the natural

00:17:16.720 evolutionary strains

00:17:18.180 don't infect

00:17:19.080 human cells at all.

00:17:20.220 So that research

00:17:21.120 has been going on

00:17:22.420 at Wuhan

00:17:22.900 and published

00:17:23.800 since 2007.

00:17:26.040 And clearly,

00:17:27.120 if that spike protein

00:17:28.420 from SARS

00:17:29.560 weren't on the COVID,

00:17:31.960 the new COVID-19

00:17:33.620 or SARS-2,

00:17:34.760 it wouldn't be able

00:17:35.820 to enter human cells.

00:17:38.040 So again,

00:17:38.500 this is again evidence

00:17:39.500 that it couldn't

00:17:40.520 go through

00:17:41.400 the Wuhan seafood market

00:17:43.640 because how did you get

00:17:45.200 that spike protein

00:17:46.420 off the original SARS

00:17:47.940 from bats

00:17:48.840 or any other way?

00:17:50.580 It's lab derived.

00:17:53.040 Research into the virus

00:17:54.740 genome sequence

00:17:55.700 revealed many essential

00:17:56.880 data points.

00:17:57.760 According to a February 28th

00:17:59.520 report in the

00:18:00.140 South China Morning Post,

00:18:01.580 the Shanghai P3 Laboratory,

00:18:03.700 which first shared

00:18:04.900 the Wuhan coronavirus genome

00:18:06.760 with the world,

00:18:07.740 was ordered to close

00:18:08.740 by authorities,

00:18:09.980 impeding further research

00:18:11.500 on the virus.

00:18:12.720 Professor Zhang Yongzhen

00:18:14.400 and his team,

00:18:15.580 who published

00:18:16.200 the genome sequence

00:18:17.300 on January 11th,

00:18:18.700 worked at this laboratory.

00:18:20.440 According to a February 26th

00:18:22.120 report on Chaixin,

00:18:23.900 Zhang Yongzhen's team

00:18:25.380 isolated and completed

00:18:26.800 the genome sequence

00:18:27.960 of the previously unknown virus

00:18:30.040 on January 5th.

00:18:31.440 On the same day,

00:18:32.720 the Shanghai Public Health

00:18:34.120 Clinical Center

00:18:34.900 reported the discovery

00:18:36.140 to the National Health Commission

00:18:38.200 and recommended

00:18:39.520 prevention measures.

00:18:41.640 No response was received

00:18:43.560 as of January 11th.

00:18:45.300 And it was then

00:18:46.120 that the team decided

00:18:47.160 to publicize

00:18:48.120 the virus genome sequence

00:18:50.220 on virological.org,

00:18:52.680 becoming the first team

00:18:53.960 to do so in the world.

00:18:55.680 Chaixin also reported

00:18:56.980 that the Hubei Health Committee

00:18:58.420 already notified

00:18:59.600 genome sequencing organizations

00:19:01.440 on January 1st

00:19:03.320 regarding the cessation

00:19:04.720 of analysis

00:19:05.400 of Wuhan virus samples.

00:19:08.100 Existing virus samples

00:19:09.720 must be destroyed.

00:19:11.860 Information on the samples,

00:19:13.560 related to papers

00:19:14.440 and related data,

00:19:15.800 are all prohibited

00:19:16.800 from release.

00:19:18.640 On January 3rd,

00:19:19.920 China's National Health Commission

00:19:21.920 distributed notification letter

00:19:23.940 2020 No. 3,

00:19:26.200 in which a similar directive

00:19:27.760 was presented.

00:19:30.240 Afterwards,

00:19:31.200 the once active

00:19:32.220 Chinese scientific community

00:19:33.880 suddenly fell into

00:19:35.300 an eerie silence.

00:19:38.760 What was the Chinese Communist Party

00:19:41.220 trying to hide?

00:19:42.920 This is telling us

00:19:43.760 the Chinese government

00:19:44.460 is censoring this information.

00:19:46.680 They do not allow

00:19:47.880 the samples to be sequenced

00:19:49.460 or do not allow

00:19:50.640 the sequence to be published

00:19:51.840 or submitted to the gene bank.

00:19:53.400 Its response to this virus

00:19:55.140 is extremely troubling.

00:19:57.220 It ignored it for six weeks.

00:19:58.880 It allowed it to spread

00:19:59.820 around China.

00:20:01.120 It tried to get other countries

00:20:02.640 to not protect themselves.

00:20:05.380 This is dangerous,

00:20:07.040 irresponsible behavior.

00:20:08.720 And it's endangered

00:20:09.580 not only the Chinese people,

00:20:11.460 but people around the world.

00:20:12.740 There is no other way

00:20:14.000 of looking at it.

00:20:14.660 They are responsible

00:20:15.600 for the continuation

00:20:17.480 of this coronavirus.

00:20:18.860 And every time it comes back,

00:20:20.260 because it will come back,

00:20:21.340 because it's going to be

00:20:22.060 with us now permanently,

00:20:23.660 it will come back 0.91

00:20:24.560 and every person that it kills,

00:20:26.000 every person it harms,

00:20:27.620 is directly attributable

00:20:28.940 to the Chinese Communist Party.

00:20:30.360 Through investigating

00:20:39.580 the genome sequence,

00:20:40.640 I found it significant

00:20:41.760 that the S protein

00:20:43.040 of the Wuhan coronavirus

00:20:44.160 was critical

00:20:45.180 in its cross-species ability

00:20:46.860 to infect humans.

00:20:48.140 While I was searching

00:20:49.000 for related studies online,

00:20:51.220 one Chinese virologist

00:20:52.880 in particular

00:20:53.720 caught my attention.

00:20:55.620 She spent many years

00:20:56.760 researching bats

00:20:57.800 and coronaviruses.

00:20:59.260 She was the first

00:21:00.420 to locate the key

00:21:01.480 to how coronaviruses

00:21:02.860 can overcome

00:21:03.600 cross-species barriers

00:21:05.220 in order to directly

00:21:06.840 infect human bodies.

00:21:09.040 And she was the first

00:21:10.500 to discover

00:21:11.100 that the SARS virus

00:21:12.280 was the result

00:21:13.200 of a restructuring

00:21:14.360 of multiple SARS-like

00:21:15.960 coronaviruses

00:21:16.840 found in bats.

00:21:18.000 Her name is Shi Zhengli,

00:21:20.140 and she may be

00:21:21.000 an important link

00:21:22.140 to the origin of the virus.

00:21:24.720 Wikipedia describes

00:21:25.980 Shi Zhengli

00:21:26.800 as a, quote,

00:21:28.140 Chinese virologist

00:21:29.720 and researcher

00:21:30.420 at the Wuhan Institute

00:21:31.740 of Virology,

00:21:33.220 which is part

00:21:33.940 of the Chinese

00:21:34.800 Academy of Sciences.

00:21:37.140 Further investigations

00:21:38.120 show that Shi Zhengli

00:21:39.780 has been a figure

00:21:41.060 of controversy

00:21:42.080 since the Wuhan virus outbreak.

00:21:45.260 This is due to a paper

00:21:46.300 she published in 2015

00:21:47.700 discussing her own research

00:21:50.340 into synthetic viruses.

00:21:52.540 Chai Xin,

00:21:54.680 a media company

00:21:55.560 with ties

00:21:56.060 to the Chinese

00:21:56.620 Communist Party,

00:21:57.660 interviewed Shi Zhengli

00:21:58.940 in an attempt

00:21:59.720 to refute

00:22:00.560 these rumors.

00:22:01.380 Dr. Zhengli

00:22:02.860 is one of the top

00:22:04.220 experts in China

00:22:05.800 studying about

00:22:07.240 coronavirus

00:22:08.180 in Wuhan

00:22:10.140 Institute of Virology.

00:22:11.580 She has so many publications

00:22:12.660 from collecting,

00:22:14.620 identifying

00:22:15.220 bad coronavirus

00:22:16.260 from bad caves.

00:22:18.220 Her lab

00:22:18.600 has these capacities,

00:22:19.460 very sophisticated capacity

00:22:22.100 to generate mutations

00:22:23.420 to make it best

00:22:24.720 fit in human expression

00:22:25.940 as well.

00:22:26.900 Delving further

00:22:27.740 into related information,

00:22:29.200 I discovered

00:22:29.660 that Shi Zhengli

00:22:30.660 published not one,

00:22:32.540 but four papers

00:22:33.660 in total,

00:22:34.580 each of which

00:22:35.580 contains

00:22:36.240 important information.

00:22:39.680 Since the SARS outbreak

00:22:41.380 in 2003,

00:22:43.100 Shi Zhengli

00:22:43.860 has been conducting

00:22:44.800 research

00:22:45.420 on coronaviruses.

00:22:46.820 From 2010 onward,

00:22:49.620 the focus

00:22:50.200 of Shi and her team

00:22:51.580 was redirected

00:22:53.060 to identifying

00:22:54.080 the capacity

00:22:55.280 for coronavirus

00:22:56.700 transmission

00:22:57.740 across species,

00:23:00.080 specifically putting

00:23:00.960 the spotlight

00:23:01.520 on the S protein

00:23:02.960 of the coronaviruses.

00:23:05.220 In other words,

00:23:06.340 her team's research

00:23:07.440 in the Wuhan lab

00:23:08.620 has been looking

00:23:09.640 into the part

00:23:10.420 that can make

00:23:11.180 coronaviruses

00:23:12.420 transmittable

00:23:13.560 to humans.

00:23:15.240 In June 2010,

00:23:16.820 a team

00:23:17.400 including Shi Zhengli

00:23:18.740 published a paper.

00:23:20.080 It describes research

00:23:21.280 to understand

00:23:22.000 the susceptibility

00:23:23.080 of angiotensin

00:23:24.860 converting enzyme

00:23:26.080 to ACE2 proteins

00:23:28.140 of different bat species

00:23:29.760 to the S protein

00:23:30.740 of the SARS virus.

00:23:32.100 In the experiments,

00:23:33.220 they also modified

00:23:34.420 key amino acid condoms

00:23:36.540 to mutate the bat's

00:23:38.340 ACE2

00:23:39.280 to examine compatibility

00:23:40.940 with the SARS-S protein.

00:23:43.540 This paper

00:23:44.100 demonstrated their awareness

00:23:45.700 of the special relationship

00:23:47.540 between the S protein

00:23:49.380 and the ACE2 receptor.

00:23:52.260 It also signified

00:23:53.520 that Shi had unearthed 0.95

00:23:55.120 the passageway

00:23:56.120 for coronaviruses

00:23:57.920 into human bodies.

00:24:00.040 In October 2013,

00:24:02.120 Shi and her team

00:24:02.680 published a paper

00:24:03.480 in the authoritative

00:24:04.620 science journal

00:24:05.600 Nature.

00:24:06.800 They claimed a breakthrough

00:24:07.940 in coronavirus research.

00:24:10.380 What was their breakthrough?

00:24:11.260 They successfully isolated

00:24:13.620 three viruses from bats,

00:24:16.080 one of which

00:24:16.780 had an S protein

00:24:17.860 that integrated

00:24:18.760 with human ACE2 receptors.

00:24:21.580 This effectively

00:24:22.300 demonstrated

00:24:23.200 the human infection

00:24:24.920 of SARS-like viruses

00:24:26.440 to humans

00:24:27.700 without the need

00:24:28.860 of an intermediary host.

00:24:31.620 Then,

00:24:32.260 in November 2015,

00:24:33.980 Shi and her team

00:24:34.600 at the Wuhan lab

00:24:35.720 once again published

00:24:37.120 a paper,

00:24:38.140 this time in the

00:24:38.980 British Journal

00:24:39.620 of Nature Medicine.

00:24:41.260 They discussed

00:24:42.000 the creation

00:24:42.740 of a synthetic virus,

00:24:45.000 a self-replicating

00:24:46.560 chimeric virus.

00:24:48.680 This virus

00:24:49.280 had the SARS virus

00:24:50.340 as the framework

00:24:51.300 with the key S protein

00:24:53.580 replaced

00:24:54.260 by the one

00:24:55.200 they had found

00:24:55.840 in a bat coronavirus

00:24:57.040 she mentioned

00:24:58.220 in her 2013 paper.

00:25:00.500 This new virus

00:25:01.800 demonstrated

00:25:02.500 a powerful ability

00:25:03.860 for cross-species infection.

00:25:05.320 The mice

00:25:06.260 infected with

00:25:07.240 this synthetic virus

00:25:08.500 revealed severe

00:25:09.900 lung damage

00:25:10.760 with no cure.

00:25:14.800 This symbolized

00:25:16.380 that Shi's 1.00

00:25:17.120 successful splicing

00:25:18.320 of the SARS virus

00:25:19.500 was a key

00:25:20.460 to open the door

00:25:21.680 to the cross-species

00:25:22.920 transmission.

00:25:24.660 What is startling

00:25:26.160 is that the successful

00:25:27.240 experiments on mice

00:25:28.340 were only the tip

00:25:29.240 of the iceberg.

00:25:30.600 They planned

00:25:31.260 to further experiment

00:25:32.460 on primates.

00:25:34.060 Although Shi Zhengli 0.50

00:25:35.060 did not indicate

00:25:35.880 any conclusion

00:25:36.820 from this research,

00:25:38.420 her move to research

00:25:39.460 on primates

00:25:40.240 suggests

00:25:41.340 this was to more

00:25:42.500 closely simulate

00:25:43.480 the infection

00:25:44.200 of humans

00:25:44.960 with this new

00:25:46.280 synthetic virus.

00:25:48.000 This wasn't done

00:25:48.780 without controversy,

00:25:49.940 however.

00:25:50.960 Shi's experiments 0.71

00:25:51.860 quickly triggered

00:25:52.980 widespread debates

00:25:54.060 from the academic

00:25:54.840 community.

00:25:56.200 Simon Wayne Hobson

00:25:57.520 of the Pasteur Institute

00:25:58.980 in France

00:25:59.560 expressed deep concerns.

00:26:01.700 He told Nature,

00:26:02.620 if the new virus

00:26:04.520 escaped,

00:26:05.640 nobody could predict

00:26:06.900 the trajectory.

00:26:08.760 Propagation could

00:26:09.640 happen anyway.

00:26:12.340 His statement

00:26:13.280 is exactly

00:26:14.560 what's happening,

00:26:15.660 that the virus

00:26:16.660 is everywhere,

00:26:18.160 and it could not

00:26:19.080 spread that fast 0.94

00:26:20.320 through various

00:26:21.220 countries unless

00:26:22.740 it's been spread

00:26:23.600 via laboratories,

00:26:25.160 via the mail,

00:26:26.140 via research scientists

00:26:27.700 studying that.

00:26:29.300 Additional studies

00:26:30.580 very strongly support

00:26:32.480 the idea that

00:26:34.020 this new coronavirus

00:26:35.880 came from

00:26:37.100 a recombination event

00:26:38.780 that is a cutting

00:26:40.080 and pasting

00:26:40.920 of two different viruses.

00:26:42.980 So her work proves 1.00

00:26:44.320 or strongly supports

00:26:46.100 the hypothesis

00:26:47.580 that it could not

00:26:49.240 possibly have been

00:26:50.880 generated in a natural

00:26:53.100 zoonotic transmission,

00:26:55.100 but had to come

00:26:56.420 from a hospital setting,

00:26:58.720 the laboratory setting

00:27:00.220 almost certainly,

00:27:01.780 the biosafety level

00:27:03.160 for Wuhan Research Facility.

00:27:05.700 However,

00:27:06.140 this did not

00:27:06.760 terminate Xi's research.

00:27:08.700 On November 14, 2018,

00:27:10.960 Xi Jingli spoke

00:27:11.940 at the School of Life Sciences

00:27:13.660 and Biotechnology

00:27:14.840 at Shanghai

00:27:16.040 Jiao Tong University.

00:27:17.960 The topic was

00:27:18.960 bat coronavirus

00:27:20.100 and its cross-species infection.

00:27:24.100 Reports of this event

00:27:25.100 have since been deleted

00:27:26.260 from the university website.

00:27:27.920 I discovered

00:27:29.240 two more significant

00:27:30.460 pieces of information

00:27:31.660 regarding the dangers

00:27:33.540 of the research

00:27:34.880 conducted by Xi Jingli's team.

00:27:37.940 First,

00:27:39.080 on October 16, 2014,

00:27:41.900 the Obama administration,

00:27:44.100 wary of the potential threats

00:27:45.520 to public health

00:27:46.340 from the gain-of-function

00:27:47.400 GOF research

00:27:48.740 into SARS, MERS, or influenza,

00:27:51.160 announced through

00:27:51.840 the National Institute of Health

00:27:53.680 that it was

00:27:54.240 suspending funding

00:27:55.300 into similar research.

00:27:56.540 The funding pause

00:27:57.660 included Xi Jingli's

00:27:58.880 research project,

00:28:00.440 Genetic Engineering

00:28:01.480 of SARS-like

00:28:02.960 Coronavirus in Bats,

00:28:05.220 a collaborative effort

00:28:06.180 with Dr. Ralph Barrick,

00:28:08.140 a virologist

00:28:09.060 at the University

00:28:09.860 of North Carolina.

00:28:12.720 Second,

00:28:13.780 after the Wuhan outbreak,

00:28:15.540 Indian researchers

00:28:16.500 compared the S-protein sequence

00:28:18.660 between 2019

00:28:19.920 NCOV

00:28:20.980 and SARS,

00:28:21.980 they discovered

00:28:23.640 that 2019 NCOV

00:28:25.760 had four new sequences inserted,

00:28:28.960 all of which

00:28:29.840 can be found

00:28:30.860 in HIV sequences

00:28:32.220 through a search

00:28:33.500 on GenBank.

00:28:35.340 Xi Jingli discredited

00:28:36.980 those observations,

00:28:38.640 although she never denied

00:28:39.640 the existence

00:28:40.320 of the four inserted sequences.

00:28:42.720 However,

00:28:43.560 scientists probing GenBank

00:28:45.360 found that there were

00:28:46.400 only three viruses

00:28:47.980 containing all sequences.

00:28:50.740 The first

00:28:51.620 is the HIV virus itself.

00:28:54.240 The second

00:28:54.740 is a bat coronavirus

00:28:56.320 discovered by Xi.

00:28:58.580 And the third

00:28:59.520 is this new

00:29:00.860 Wuhan coronavirus.

00:29:02.740 We've done this

00:29:03.740 kind of work

00:29:04.500 for now 40 years

00:29:06.240 for me.

00:29:07.400 There's this sequence

00:29:08.700 analysis

00:29:09.360 in comparison

00:29:10.540 of the virus

00:29:11.740 of the SARS-2

00:29:13.140 COVID-19

00:29:14.460 apparently has

00:29:16.260 genes

00:29:17.360 that come

00:29:18.260 from other human

00:29:19.880 and other species,

00:29:21.600 including

00:29:22.220 some envelope,

00:29:24.040 the GP41,

00:29:25.700 from HIV.

00:29:28.080 What is the HIV's GP41?

00:29:31.360 The answer I found online

00:29:32.560 describes GP41

00:29:33.960 as a protein of HIV

00:29:35.500 that acts

00:29:36.320 as the key

00:29:37.100 to infecting human bodies.

00:29:38.680 resulting in the

00:29:39.840 functional failure

00:29:40.740 of the immune system.

00:29:42.260 If the discovery

00:29:42.940 by Judy and her colleagues

00:29:44.260 are established,

00:29:45.600 it would mean

00:29:46.100 the infectious part

00:29:47.360 of the Wuhan virus,

00:29:48.860 the S-protein,

00:29:50.300 incorporated the sequence

00:29:51.640 of the HIV key protein.

00:29:53.920 This made me think

00:29:54.660 of the immunodeficiency

00:29:56.120 symptoms in people infected.

00:29:58.080 They were doing research

00:29:59.000 on a human transmittable

00:30:00.940 coronavirus

00:30:01.920 that was actually

00:30:03.040 published in a paper.

00:30:04.080 So this is research

00:30:04.840 that they actually published.

00:30:06.240 They were working on

00:30:06.860 developing a coronavirus

00:30:07.840 for the human host,

00:30:09.820 which leads you to question,

00:30:11.720 why would you be creating

00:30:12.860 a coronavirus

00:30:13.400 that can infect humans?

00:30:15.420 What would be the purpose

00:30:16.160 of that research?

00:30:17.080 Is it for a weapon?

00:30:19.120 Is it so that you can

00:30:20.100 then create a vaccine

00:30:22.160 that you are the sole recipient

00:30:23.900 of the profits from?

00:30:25.680 The Chinese have full access

00:30:27.060 to our databases.

00:30:28.540 They have full access

00:30:29.300 to all that research

00:30:30.320 that comes out.

00:30:31.260 They have full access

00:30:32.040 to all our universities

00:30:33.240 to train their scientists.

00:30:34.860 and they have full access

00:30:36.240 to our scientists,

00:30:37.200 like was, you know,

00:30:38.420 with the recent indictment

00:30:39.600 of the head

00:30:40.520 of the chemistry department

00:30:41.400 at Harvard.

00:30:42.400 I mean, this is

00:30:42.840 the Thousand Talents program.

00:30:44.520 Tens of thousands

00:30:45.280 of the world's

00:30:47.680 most brightest people

00:30:48.760 in all of these

00:30:49.740 different areas

00:30:51.180 that are going to China

00:30:52.620 to help them

00:30:53.080 with their programs.

00:30:53.800 And all of these programs,

00:30:55.020 as you know,

00:30:55.880 have a dual-use capability.

00:30:57.220 Beijing's attacks

00:31:00.300 on the United States,

00:31:01.520 which have occurred

00:31:02.260 for weeks and weeks,

00:31:03.460 are really worrying.

00:31:04.720 What it shows

00:31:05.480 is that China is desperate

00:31:07.240 and the United States

00:31:08.700 needs to defend itself

00:31:09.940 because China

00:31:11.000 is propagating

00:31:12.020 this narrative

00:31:12.700 that we spread

00:31:14.380 the coronavirus to China.

00:31:16.580 So the United States

00:31:17.440 needs to just come out

00:31:18.580 with the facts

00:31:19.280 about how China

00:31:20.260 took coronavirus samples

00:31:22.080 from Canada

00:31:22.940 and the United States.

00:31:24.300 They sent them to Wuhan. 0.94

00:31:25.680 We don't know exactly

00:31:27.240 what went on

00:31:28.060 in that lab there

00:31:29.160 at the Wuhan Institute

00:31:30.420 of Virology,

00:31:31.440 but it's time

00:31:32.740 for the United States

00:31:33.660 to defend itself.

00:31:39.960 January 23rd, 2020.

00:31:42.760 The Wuhan virus exploded.

00:31:45.340 While Wuhan announced

00:31:46.260 the lockdown of the city,

00:31:47.640 Xi Zhengli and her team

00:31:48.860 released a paper

00:31:49.740 stating that the Wuhan coronavirus

00:31:51.500 was of probable bat origin.

00:31:54.820 This was published in Nature

00:31:56.700 on February 3rd.

00:31:58.420 The paper indicated

00:31:59.420 that the Wuhan virus

00:32:00.620 utilized the same key

00:32:02.200 as SARS

00:32:02.940 to gain entry

00:32:04.340 into the human body.

00:32:06.000 Xi also announced

00:32:07.000 the 2019 NCOV genome sequence

00:32:09.840 was 96.2% consistent

00:32:13.240 with a bat coronavirus

00:32:15.180 originating in Yunnan, China

00:32:17.520 called RATG13,

00:32:20.460 signaling a natural source

00:32:22.480 of the Wuhan virus.

00:32:23.880 However, Xi Zhengli's

00:32:26.200 natural origin assertion

00:32:28.120 was doubtful.

00:32:29.500 The outbreak occurred

00:32:30.380 in Wuhan,

00:32:31.440 the same location

00:32:32.360 as the P4 laboratory 1.00

00:32:33.640 where Xi was based

00:32:34.980 and which housed

00:32:36.320 highly similar viruses.

00:32:39.360 Common sense would lead

00:32:40.580 the government

00:32:40.960 to first inspect

00:32:41.980 the P4 laboratory 1.00

00:32:43.060 for any leakage incident

00:32:44.660 and potential safety concerns.

00:32:47.480 Instead,

00:32:47.940 they shifted public attention

00:32:49.520 from the P4 laboratory 1.00

00:32:51.260 to the South China seafood

00:32:52.740 wholesale market

00:32:53.720 that sold no bats

00:32:55.220 and designated it

00:32:57.200 as the origin of the disease.

00:32:59.520 At the same time,

00:33:00.400 authorities sealed off

00:33:01.540 all virus samples,

00:33:03.420 prevented international experts

00:33:05.160 from joining the investigation,

00:33:06.500 and used national television

00:33:09.300 to slander doctors

00:33:10.900 such as Li Wengrang 0.62

00:33:12.320 who disclosed the outbreak

00:33:14.380 for spreading rumors.

00:33:17.160 If the Wuhan virus

00:33:18.380 indeed emerged naturally,

00:33:20.820 why would the CCP

00:33:21.960 need to censor relevant news

00:33:23.620 or block investigations?

00:33:25.920 Could the Wuhan P4 laboratory 1.00

00:33:27.880 have its secrets?

00:33:29.580 Virus samples

00:33:30.320 and genome sequences

00:33:31.480 may be the exact ingredients

00:33:33.640 we need to find our answers.

00:33:35.580 When I first heard

00:33:36.260 of the coronavirus,

00:33:37.480 I was deeply concerned.

00:33:39.940 Almost every disease

00:33:41.520 that starts in China

00:33:42.740 begins in Guangdong province,

00:33:45.080 the province

00:33:45.680 that surrounds Hong Kong

00:33:46.760 in the South.

00:33:47.960 But Wuhan is in the central portion

00:33:50.140 of the country.

00:33:51.560 And so this was extremely unusual.

00:33:54.160 And the fact that

00:33:55.420 it might have started

00:33:56.420 close to the Wuhan Institute

00:33:58.580 of Virology,

00:33:59.840 the P4 biosafety lab,

00:34:01.880 really was extremely troubling.

00:34:04.600 It's not a conspiracy theory

00:34:06.080 to think that the coronavirus

00:34:07.400 came from the Wuhan lab.

00:34:09.320 We don't know at this point.

00:34:11.040 And until we know,

00:34:12.340 the theory about the lab origin

00:34:14.340 is certainly something

00:34:15.900 that we should consider.

00:34:19.560 I noticed that after the outbreak,

00:34:21.900 the Wuhan Institute of Virology

00:34:24.040 kept strangely quiet.

00:34:25.880 Under normal circumstances,

00:34:27.900 as the nation's highest level

00:34:29.460 of Virology Research Institute,

00:34:31.720 it should be the first one

00:34:34.220 to actively respond

00:34:35.420 when the entire country

00:34:37.200 is working around the clock

00:34:38.460 attempting to control

00:34:39.700 a disease like this.

00:34:42.300 One that so closely fits

00:34:44.480 the type of viruses

00:34:45.540 its scientists were researching.

00:34:48.560 In contrast,

00:34:49.500 the Institute had a highly visible

00:34:51.480 demonstration on CCTV

00:34:53.120 of their efforts to detect

00:34:55.160 and prevent the outbreak

00:34:56.200 a virus via pigs

00:34:57.620 of Guangdong in 2018.

00:35:01.560 It should be noted

00:35:02.460 that the Wuhan Institute

00:35:04.000 displayed a series

00:35:05.160 of abnormal events

00:35:06.460 since the start of 2020.

00:35:12.380 January 2nd,

00:35:14.140 an email from the Director General

00:35:16.060 of the Institute

00:35:16.940 to all internal staff

00:35:18.380 was circulated.

00:35:19.420 The subject was,

00:35:20.920 Notice regarding the strict

00:35:22.740 prohibition of disclosure

00:35:24.520 of any information

00:35:26.400 related to the Wuhan

00:35:27.840 unknown pneumonia.

00:35:30.060 National Health Commission

00:35:31.220 clearly mandates

00:35:32.260 that all detection,

00:35:34.000 empirical data,

00:35:35.260 results,

00:35:35.940 and conclusions

00:35:36.700 related to this outbreak

00:35:38.580 cannot be published

00:35:40.120 on self-media

00:35:41.400 or social media,

00:35:43.180 nor disclosed

00:35:44.240 to any media,

00:35:45.480 including state media,

00:35:47.240 or collaborative organizations,

00:35:49.040 including any technical

00:35:50.980 services companies.

00:35:53.740 January 21st,

00:35:55.700 a new drug,

00:35:57.000 Remdesivir,

00:35:58.400 provided for free

00:35:59.520 by the United States

00:36:00.600 to China

00:36:01.160 for Wuhan coronavirus

00:36:02.520 treatment

00:36:03.220 was preemptively

00:36:04.860 patented

00:36:05.480 by the Institute.

00:36:07.620 February 3rd,

00:36:09.260 Dr. Wu Xiaohua

00:36:10.820 blew the whistle

00:36:12.100 using his real name

00:36:13.660 that Shi Zhengli's

00:36:15.400 haphazard laboratory

00:36:16.740 management

00:36:17.420 may have led

00:36:18.840 the Wuhan virus

00:36:20.040 to leak from the lab.

00:36:23.180 February 4th,

00:36:24.880 Chairman of Duoyi,

00:36:26.660 Shu Bo,

00:36:27.620 blew the whistle

00:36:28.460 using his real name

00:36:29.960 that the Wuhan Institute

00:36:31.640 of Virology

00:36:32.700 was suspected

00:36:33.840 of manufacturing

00:36:34.940 and leaking

00:36:36.160 the Wuhan virus.

00:36:38.160 February 7th,

00:36:39.800 top biochemical weapon

00:36:41.160 expert of the

00:36:41.820 People's Liberation Army,

00:36:43.340 Chen Wei,

00:36:44.560 officially assumed control

00:36:46.360 over Wuhan Institute

00:36:48.060 of Virology's

00:36:49.240 P4 laboratory.

00:36:52.240 February 14th,

00:36:54.160 Chinese leader

00:36:55.280 Xi Jinping

00:36:55.880 called for the inclusion

00:36:57.280 of biosecurity

00:36:58.480 into China's

00:36:59.160 national security framework

00:37:00.740 and to accelerate

00:37:02.280 the introduction

00:37:03.280 of a biosecurity law.

00:37:07.120 February 15th,

00:37:08.940 the Institute

00:37:09.900 refuted widely spread

00:37:11.680 rumors on Chinese

00:37:12.620 social media

00:37:13.480 that a female graduate 0.99

00:37:15.420 Huang Yanling

00:37:16.740 was patient zero

00:37:18.040 and had perished.

00:37:19.660 However,

00:37:20.120 Huang's photo,

00:37:21.160 CV,

00:37:21.460 and thesis

00:37:22.300 were all removed

00:37:23.900 from the Institute's

00:37:24.880 official website,

00:37:26.380 leaving only her name.

00:37:31.000 February 17th,

00:37:32.960 Institute researcher

00:37:34.360 Chen Quanjiao

00:37:35.720 blew the whistle

00:37:37.080 using her real name

00:37:38.560 that Director General

00:37:40.340 of the Institute,

00:37:41.680 Huang Yan-Yi,

00:37:43.480 was suspected

00:37:44.320 of leaking the virus.

00:37:47.480 I graduated

00:37:48.740 from the University

00:37:49.660 of Virginia in 1980.

00:37:51.940 My first job

00:37:53.180 was to go

00:37:53.940 to the National Cancer Institute,

00:37:55.940 which was housed

00:37:56.960 at Fort Detrick, Maryland,

00:37:59.020 the same place

00:37:59.960 that houses

00:38:00.620 the USAMRID,

00:38:02.560 U.S. Army Research Institute

00:38:04.860 on Infectious Disease,

00:38:06.240 the biosafety level

00:38:08.580 four facility,

00:38:10.000 equivalent

00:38:10.780 of the Wuhan facility.

00:38:13.040 And so,

00:38:13.500 at these facilities,

00:38:15.360 it's where

00:38:16.540 investigators,

00:38:17.860 who I went in there

00:38:19.020 myself,

00:38:19.940 you can see

00:38:20.640 the breakdowns

00:38:21.540 in safety

00:38:22.040 and it's everywhere.

00:38:23.520 That's why

00:38:24.180 I have no doubt

00:38:25.400 the Chinese

00:38:26.440 biosafety level four

00:38:28.180 was just as lacking

00:38:30.360 in safety,

00:38:32.080 in rigor.

00:38:32.920 You can argue

00:38:33.520 that they don't care.

00:38:35.180 suspected of leaking

00:38:36.460 the virus.

00:38:38.040 Military

00:38:38.660 biochemical

00:38:39.900 weapons expert

00:38:41.300 assumes control.

00:38:43.300 Biosecurity law.

00:38:45.340 Now,

00:38:45.620 when these sensitive

00:38:46.420 keywords

00:38:47.060 are connected together,

00:38:48.740 it tells me

00:38:49.640 that the P4 laboratory 1.00

00:38:51.200 is not an ordinary

00:38:52.580 academic research institute.

00:38:55.220 I decided to start

00:38:56.620 from the beginning

00:38:57.400 of the Wuhan P4 lab. 0.69

00:39:00.220 On January 23rd,

00:39:02.100 the day Wuhan

00:39:02.940 was locked down,

00:39:04.080 French website

00:39:05.220 Challenges.fr

00:39:06.800 published an article

00:39:07.980 that revealed

00:39:08.780 many details

00:39:09.600 of the collaboration

00:39:10.360 between France

00:39:11.340 and China

00:39:11.960 to establish

00:39:13.160 the P4 laboratory 1.00

00:39:14.280 in Wuhan.

00:39:15.820 In 2003,

00:39:16.840 after the SARS outbreak

00:39:18.000 in China,

00:39:18.940 the Chinese Academy

00:39:20.040 of Sciences

00:39:20.720 requested assistance

00:39:22.120 from the French

00:39:22.980 government

00:39:23.380 to build a

00:39:24.020 virology research center

00:39:25.640 of the highest level.

00:39:27.920 With the support

00:39:28.640 of then-French

00:39:29.420 Prime Minister

00:39:30.320 Raffarin,

00:39:31.380 the two countries

00:39:32.600 signed a contract

00:39:33.520 to jointly construct

00:39:34.800 the P4 laboratory 1.00

00:39:36.060 under a wave

00:39:37.380 of contention.

00:39:38.880 According to the contract,

00:39:40.240 French architect

00:39:41.040 RTV in Lyon

00:39:42.420 was responsible

00:39:43.760 for the engineering

00:39:44.900 of the laboratory.

00:39:46.240 However,

00:39:46.680 Chinese authorities

00:39:47.420 switched the work

00:39:48.560 to a local

00:39:49.440 Wuhan architect,

00:39:51.300 IPPR,

00:39:53.160 based on research

00:39:54.180 conducted by the

00:39:55.060 General Directorate

00:39:56.040 of External Security.

00:39:58.120 IPPR

00:39:58.840 had close ties

00:40:00.340 to subsidies

00:40:01.100 of the Chinese military,

00:40:03.360 some of which

00:40:03.880 were already targets

00:40:04.720 of concern

00:40:05.340 by the American CIA.

00:40:07.300 Within the 12

00:40:07.960 subsidiary departments,

00:40:09.660 there was even

00:40:10.260 a specific

00:40:11.160 military management office.

00:40:14.200 The French

00:40:14.720 delayed repeatedly

00:40:15.960 given security concerns.

00:40:18.100 It wasn't until 2017

00:40:19.540 before the Wuhan

00:40:20.600 P4 laboratory

00:40:21.520 was operational

00:40:22.400 and French security

00:40:24.120 continued to suspect

00:40:25.360 that the Chinese regime

00:40:26.660 was conducting

00:40:27.420 biochemical

00:40:28.300 weapons experiments.

00:40:31.440 Who is the real boss

00:40:32.880 of the P4 laboratory? 0.98

00:40:36.020 The Wuhan P4 laboratory 0.95

00:40:38.260 was a subsidiary

00:40:39.680 of the Wuhan Institute

00:40:41.080 of Virology,

00:40:42.540 which is managed

00:40:43.440 by China Academy of Sciences.

00:40:45.640 The director

00:40:46.760 of the laboratory

00:40:47.580 was Yuan Shimin,

00:40:49.580 who was also the head

00:40:50.560 of Chinese Academy

00:40:51.380 of Sciences'

00:40:52.260 Wuhan chapter.

00:40:53.780 Design and funding

00:40:55.040 for construction

00:40:55.980 were the responsibilities

00:40:57.120 of the ex-vice presidents

00:40:59.560 of the academy,

00:41:01.340 Jiang Mianheng 0.98

00:41:02.460 from 1999 to 2011

00:41:05.320 and Chen Zhu

00:41:06.860 from 2000 to 2007.

00:41:09.980 Jiang Mianheng 0.98

00:41:11.100 was the eldest son

00:41:12.820 of ex-CCP leader

00:41:14.340 Jiang Zemin.

00:41:15.620 After Jiang Zemin

00:41:16.480 ascended to power

00:41:17.320 after the Tiananmen Square

00:41:18.400 massacre,

00:41:19.720 his son entered

00:41:20.540 the academy

00:41:21.200 and led the Institute

00:41:22.580 of High Technology's

00:41:23.820 research and development.

00:41:26.000 Jiang Mianheng 0.98

00:41:27.480 created the

00:41:28.740 Shanghai Institute

00:41:29.920 of Life Sciences

00:41:31.000 and together

00:41:32.260 with China Academy

00:41:33.400 of Sciences,

00:41:34.620 Shanghai colleges

00:41:35.520 and universities,

00:41:36.760 Shanghai hospitals,

00:41:38.540 military hospitals

00:41:39.620 and research institutions,

00:41:41.580 formed a profit group

00:41:44.240 of life sciences organizations.

00:41:47.740 They controlled China's 0.99

00:41:48.860 major life sciences

00:41:50.080 research projects

00:41:51.240 and allocation

00:41:51.920 of massive funding.

00:41:54.500 Jiang Zicheng,

00:41:55.760 son of Jiang Mianheng,

00:41:57.860 is the controlling shareholder

00:41:59.800 of Wuxi App Tech,

00:42:01.640 which in turn

00:42:02.520 is controlling

00:42:04.040 Fosun Pharmaceutical,

00:42:06.680 China's agent 0.89

00:42:08.180 for remdesivir.

00:42:10.440 Effectively,

00:42:11.680 Jiang Zicheng 0.95

00:42:12.740 is the kingpin

00:42:13.780 behind the specific medicine

00:42:15.860 for the outbreak.

00:42:18.100 Meanwhile,

00:42:18.840 Chen Zhu

00:42:19.380 is the current president

00:42:20.620 of the Red Cross Society

00:42:22.560 of China,

00:42:23.500 which had faced

00:42:24.420 numerous scandals

00:42:26.300 since the outbreak.

00:42:28.180 In 1999,

00:42:29.480 while Jiang Zemin

00:42:30.340 was in power,

00:42:31.600 the People's Liberation Army

00:42:32.900 published a book,

00:42:34.180 Unrestricted Warfare,

00:42:36.160 in which strategies

00:42:37.380 for a weaker nation

00:42:38.700 to combat a stronger nation

00:42:40.340 are discussed

00:42:41.740 in the context

00:42:42.680 of modern warfare.

00:42:44.700 One of the authors,

00:42:45.740 Xiao Liang,

00:42:46.600 wrote,

00:42:47.360 After the first

00:42:48.100 Taiwan Strait Crisis,

00:42:49.620 we realized

00:42:50.380 that if the Chinese 0.99

00:42:51.380 and American military

00:42:52.640 fought head-on,

00:42:54.280 we are at a disadvantage.

00:42:56.560 Therefore,

00:42:57.340 we need a new strategy

00:42:58.820 to help our military

00:43:00.580 tilt the balance of power.

00:43:02.480 This new strategy

00:43:03.460 is called

00:43:04.280 Unrestricted Warfare,

00:43:06.320 a variety of means

00:43:07.460 beyond all limits

00:43:08.720 without any restrictions.

00:43:11.360 It could be

00:43:11.820 military-related,

00:43:13.180 including guerrilla warfare,

00:43:14.580 terrorism,

00:43:15.800 biochemical warfare,

00:43:17.680 or it could be

00:43:18.580 non-military-related,

00:43:20.440 such as drug trafficking,

00:43:21.780 poisoning,

00:43:22.560 environmental destruction,

00:43:24.300 and computer virus

00:43:25.440 dissemination.

00:43:27.840 Israeli expert

00:43:28.960 in biological warfare

00:43:30.320 and former intelligence

00:43:31.580 officer Danny Shoham

00:43:33.200 published a paper

00:43:34.260 in 2015

00:43:35.020 in India's

00:43:35.880 Journal of Defense Studies.

00:43:37.880 He pointed out

00:43:38.580 that China 0.93

00:43:39.100 will not miss,

00:43:40.300 skip,

00:43:40.640 or abandon

00:43:41.180 any highly advanced

00:43:42.380 technology,

00:43:43.660 especially military-related

00:43:45.180 technology.

00:43:46.380 The article noted

00:43:47.680 that China had 0.67

00:43:48.360 12 facilities

00:43:49.380 related to the

00:43:50.140 Ministry of National Defense

00:43:51.580 and 30 subsidiary

00:43:53.600 facilities

00:43:54.220 of the PLA

00:43:55.620 participating

00:43:56.720 in the research,

00:43:58.120 development,

00:43:58.780 manufacturing,

00:43:59.620 testing,

00:43:59.980 or storage

00:44:00.800 of biological weapons.

00:44:04.040 Dr. Francis Boyle,

00:44:06.100 a Harvard PhD

00:44:07.080 famous for drafting

00:44:08.240 the Biological Weapons

00:44:09.580 Anti-Terrorism Act

00:44:10.740 of 1989

00:44:11.560 clearly expressed,

00:44:13.680 the novel coronavirus

00:44:15.060 we're seeing here

00:44:16.400 is an offensive

00:44:17.960 biological warfare weapon.

00:44:20.840 The Federation

00:44:21.760 of American Scientists

00:44:23.380 indicated similar

00:44:24.540 concerns in an

00:44:25.420 evaluation report.

00:44:27.340 The organization

00:44:27.940 believed that the

00:44:29.040 CCP possessed

00:44:30.120 advanced chemical

00:44:31.740 warfare projects,

00:44:33.800 including research,

00:44:34.840 development,

00:44:35.500 manufacturing,

00:44:36.340 and weaponizing

00:44:36.980 capabilities.

00:44:38.400 The CCP is usually

00:44:39.620 known to have

00:44:40.540 a proactive

00:44:41.260 biological warfare

00:44:43.000 portfolio,

00:44:44.500 including state-funded

00:44:45.900 and sponsored

00:44:47.000 research activities.

00:44:48.080 I believe they have

00:44:51.120 them.

00:44:51.680 I believe they're

00:44:52.680 developing them.

00:44:53.540 I think they want

00:44:54.200 to be the most

00:44:55.180 advanced nation

00:44:56.880 on Earth

00:44:57.300 when it comes

00:44:57.800 to biological weapons,

00:44:59.060 the same as I believe

00:45:00.180 that they do

00:45:00.720 forced organ harvesting,

00:45:02.320 the same as I believe

00:45:04.420 that they have

00:45:05.140 concentration camps

00:45:06.820 for Uyghurs,

00:45:07.760 the way I believe

00:45:08.940 that they have

00:45:09.680 systematically killed

00:45:11.180 millions of Falun Gong.

00:45:12.580 It is the same thing,

00:45:14.240 this regime.

00:45:15.100 You can count on it.

00:45:16.260 So Wuhan as an area

00:45:18.080 I think is critical

00:45:18.940 by the fact that

00:45:19.820 there's a lot of concern

00:45:21.000 about what China's

00:45:22.300 ambitions are

00:45:23.220 regarding long-term

00:45:25.100 global domination.

00:45:26.400 I'll just say it that.

00:45:27.420 Their military doctrines

00:45:28.820 indicated that they

00:45:29.740 intend to be the

00:45:30.740 dominant political

00:45:32.220 and military force

00:45:33.020 of the Pacific Rim.

00:45:34.160 I've talked to senior

00:45:35.160 members of the Trump

00:45:36.160 administration who have

00:45:37.140 had conversations

00:45:38.260 with the senior

00:45:38.960 Chinese generals,

00:45:40.340 and that's what

00:45:40.800 they basically say.

00:45:42.060 It's in their doctrine too.

00:45:43.040 So we have to examine

00:45:44.520 this new clue.

00:45:46.660 This is one piece of the

00:45:47.760 Wuhan,

00:45:48.900 biological warfare.

00:45:50.480 Does this mean something

00:45:51.540 to these other things

00:45:52.540 we're already seeing?

00:45:53.780 Because the Chinese 0.99

00:45:54.600 have already kind of stated

00:45:55.500 this is their objective.

00:45:57.200 So I think we have to

00:45:58.060 analyze it through that lens.

00:45:59.360 What does this mean

00:46:00.000 to the larger

00:46:00.620 political narrative

00:46:01.880 of what China wants

00:46:04.200 to do to dominate

00:46:05.000 the region

00:46:05.540 and potentially the world?

00:46:06.700 We don't have to

00:46:07.460 speculate about

00:46:08.300 being at war.

00:46:09.780 Last May,

00:46:10.760 the Communist Party,

00:46:11.760 through People's Daily,

00:46:13.460 carried a peace

00:46:14.300 which said that

00:46:15.280 there was a

00:46:16.260 quote-unquote

00:46:17.080 people's war

00:46:18.300 against the United States.

00:46:20.260 They've declared war on us.

00:46:21.880 We have to respond.

00:46:23.280 There is a war.

00:46:24.380 China's told us there's one.

00:46:35.140 At present,

00:46:36.360 the Wuhan coronavirus

00:46:37.580 pandemic

00:46:38.420 has spread to about

00:46:39.800 190 countries

00:46:41.580 with no signs

00:46:42.840 of slowing down.

00:46:44.280 The United States

00:46:45.100 announced a state

00:46:46.320 of national emergency.

00:46:48.600 Europe became

00:46:49.140 the new center

00:46:49.820 of the outbreak.

00:46:51.040 The world's largest

00:46:51.920 art museum,

00:46:52.720 the Louvre,

00:46:53.440 and the Eiffel Tower

00:46:54.380 are closed to the public.

00:46:56.100 Tragic scenes,

00:46:57.520 previously only found

00:46:58.620 in Hollywood films,

00:47:00.040 are now playing out

00:47:01.000 live on the world stage.

00:47:03.020 And given how closely

00:47:04.480 it seemed to align

00:47:05.340 with the Chinese regime's

00:47:06.380 narratives,

00:47:07.320 I can't help but question

00:47:08.600 the role the WHO

00:47:10.220 had in this

00:47:11.600 catastrophic pandemic.

00:47:13.520 Well,

00:47:14.340 I think

00:47:14.820 all you have to do

00:47:16.020 is look at the photo

00:47:17.340 of Tedros and Xi 0.77

00:47:19.720 shaking hands.

00:47:21.540 Xi standing there,

00:47:23.000 Tedros going up to there,

00:47:25.220 and it really

00:47:26.160 is indicative

00:47:27.140 of how China

00:47:28.420 controls many of

00:47:30.220 these international

00:47:31.140 institutions.

00:47:32.160 You can see that

00:47:33.460 the WHO is essentially

00:47:35.500 following Chinese

00:47:37.380 Communist Party's

00:47:38.320 guidelines.

00:47:39.180 You can see that

00:47:40.240 the UN Human Rights

00:47:41.480 Council is similarly

00:47:43.280 following what China

00:47:44.400 does.

00:47:44.840 From the very beginning

00:47:45.860 of the coronavirus

00:47:46.760 outbreak,

00:47:48.220 the Communist Party

00:47:49.020 has done its best

00:47:49.920 to prevent the CDC

00:47:51.380 and others from

00:47:52.460 studying the origin

00:47:54.000 of this disease.

00:47:55.840 We don't know

00:47:56.540 what's there,

00:47:57.580 but the fact that

00:47:58.720 the Communist Party

00:47:59.840 is covering this up

00:48:00.960 should trouble us

00:48:02.400 deeply.

00:48:02.840 Then you see

00:48:03.560 the World Health

00:48:04.220 Organization take over

00:48:05.140 YouTube.

00:48:06.100 And what's amazing

00:48:06.660 is now at the bottom

00:48:07.520 of every YouTube video,

00:48:09.380 even from Chris Martinson

00:48:10.560 with his daily updates,

00:48:13.280 he's just reading facts.

00:48:14.720 Now it's the World Health

00:48:16.160 Organization is a forced

00:48:17.500 link to go to the site

00:48:18.860 so for any person

00:48:19.960 who doesn't know

00:48:20.460 who the World Health

00:48:21.800 Organization is,

00:48:22.100 they go there

00:48:22.580 to get the propaganda.

00:48:24.220 Not the facts,

00:48:25.580 not the truth,

00:48:26.800 they get the propaganda,

00:48:27.720 they get the talking

00:48:28.240 points from the World

00:48:29.640 Health Organization.

00:48:30.320 And that is also very,

00:48:32.540 it's a shame that

00:48:33.760 American corporations,

00:48:35.580 especially social media,

00:48:37.320 like Google,

00:48:38.720 like Facebook and Twitter,

00:48:40.400 they're trying to censor

00:48:41.340 or ban or shadow ban

00:48:42.720 or manipulate algorithms,

00:48:45.200 so on and so forth,

00:48:46.040 to prevent an actual

00:48:47.200 honest conversation.

00:48:48.580 The best way this is

00:48:49.760 going to be answered,

00:48:51.260 all this,

00:48:52.100 we want the truth.

00:48:52.960 The biggest issue

00:48:54.420 I've learned

00:48:55.440 over my 40-year career,

00:48:57.500 it's not really

00:48:58.400 fighting the viruses

00:48:59.700 and learning

00:49:00.720 how to treat the viruses.

00:49:02.420 It's fighting a system

00:49:04.060 that is determined

00:49:05.640 to cover up

00:49:07.400 and persecute

00:49:08.520 anyone who reveals

00:49:10.460 the truth behind.

00:49:12.000 Today, the World Bank,

00:49:13.720 many of the international

00:49:14.800 institutions,

00:49:16.040 have essentially

00:49:16.760 adopted a posture

00:49:18.400 whereby if the Chinese

00:49:19.900 Communist Party

00:49:20.600 tells them to do it,

00:49:21.480 they're going to do it.

00:49:22.320 I'm not surprised at all

00:49:23.840 by what the WHO says.

00:49:25.360 I'm not surprised at all

00:49:26.660 by IKO,

00:49:28.160 which basically

00:49:29.000 has been blocking people

00:49:30.860 from that tweet

00:49:32.120 about Taiwan.

00:49:33.020 I mean, the whole system,

00:49:35.080 and this is why,

00:49:36.080 by the way,

00:49:36.840 the National Security Strategy

00:49:38.180 that came out

00:49:38.720 in December of 2017

00:49:40.060 says what it says,

00:49:41.900 which is we need

00:49:42.540 to protect our societies,

00:49:44.300 not just the United States,

00:49:45.600 but all democracies.

00:49:46.800 We need to rebuild them,

00:49:48.380 not invest Chinese

00:49:49.500 Communist Party regime

00:49:50.720 in the Belt and Road Initiative

00:49:52.060 and made in China 2025,

00:49:53.880 and we need to inspire people

00:49:55.460 again to believe in democracy.

00:49:57.140 Every country has diseases,

00:49:58.840 but in China,

00:50:00.020 they become national emergencies

00:50:01.780 and global emergencies

00:50:03.260 because the real disease here

00:50:05.740 is communism.

00:50:08.080 A sprawling and aggressive

00:50:10.000 disinformation campaign

00:50:11.460 unleashed globally

00:50:12.600 by the Chinese Communist Party.

00:50:14.400 The propaganda push,

00:50:16.900 which has escalated

00:50:17.640 in recent weeks,

00:50:19.180 aims primarily

00:50:20.040 to deflect blame

00:50:21.300 over the Chinese regime's

00:50:22.520 botched handling

00:50:23.260 of the Wuhan coronavirus,

00:50:25.860 to sow discord internationally

00:50:27.820 and to portray the image

00:50:29.440 that the regime

00:50:30.120 has contained the outbreak.

00:50:32.800 During the investigative

00:50:34.240 interview process,

00:50:35.780 well-known scientists

00:50:36.640 who once suggested

00:50:37.840 a laboratory origin

00:50:38.920 of the virus,

00:50:40.020 declined to be interviewed

00:50:41.440 one after another.

00:50:43.040 Some avoided the topic

00:50:44.240 of virus origin completely.

00:50:46.660 Some had already composed

00:50:48.020 scientific arguments

00:50:49.180 but abruptly retracted

00:50:50.720 their papers.

00:50:52.100 I felt as if a giant net

00:50:53.540 of censorship

00:50:54.160 was cast by the CCP

00:50:55.820 over virologists

00:50:57.820 around the world.

00:50:59.520 Silence at this time

00:51:00.620 could have consequences

00:51:01.880 for the health

00:51:02.660 and lives

00:51:03.460 of billions of people.

00:51:05.900 I watch CNN,

00:51:06.840 I watch Fox,

00:51:07.540 I watch CBS,

00:51:09.040 and I try to make

00:51:09.980 my own assessment.

00:51:11.300 And a lot of the time,

00:51:12.600 you can figure out

00:51:13.340 what's really going on

00:51:14.120 by what they're not saying.

00:51:15.640 And in this case,

00:51:16.260 there's a lot of things

00:51:16.860 not being said.

00:51:18.400 Bottom line,

00:51:19.420 they want to make money

00:51:20.360 from China,

00:51:21.360 they fear the Chinese 0.99

00:51:22.440 repercussions

00:51:23.280 if they air this stuff.

00:51:24.760 It just gives you

00:51:25.520 an indication

00:51:26.060 of how powerful

00:51:26.860 the Chinese Communist Party is.

00:51:29.320 The Chinese Communist Party

00:51:30.400 suppressing speech

00:51:31.540 in the West

00:51:32.420 because these companies

00:51:33.940 make money from China

00:51:34.980 and they're afraid

00:51:35.620 that they're not going to make.

00:51:36.740 The Chinese Communist Party

00:51:37.840 is going to punish them

00:51:38.680 if they essentially

00:51:39.700 publish this stuff

00:51:40.620 or allow it to be aired.

00:51:42.180 There is no other reason.

00:51:43.320 I think we have to recognize

00:51:44.720 your audience

00:51:45.760 who haven't seen it,

00:51:46.500 I highly recommend Chernobyl

00:51:47.760 because the same

00:51:48.980 basic governance model

00:51:50.720 that screwed up Chernobyl, 0.78

00:51:52.500 I would argue,

00:51:53.300 is now in charge

00:51:54.460 of the response

00:51:55.340 of the coronavirus.

00:51:56.860 So whatever you saw

00:51:57.760 go wrong in Chernobyl,

00:51:59.880 you could still see

00:52:00.660 that potential here.

00:52:01.460 I'm not saying

00:52:01.960 it's going to be that bad,

00:52:03.080 I'm just saying

00:52:03.560 that the party,

00:52:05.640 the central party

00:52:06.480 is the thing

00:52:07.200 which they want to protect,

00:52:08.420 their power.

00:52:09.640 And people

00:52:10.300 and nation issues

00:52:12.680 are secondary

00:52:13.620 to the continuation of power.

00:52:15.240 Communist Party 0.98

00:52:16.040 is malign 0.99

00:52:17.460 and it is

00:52:18.280 grossly irresponsible.

00:52:20.180 It has pressured governments

00:52:21.480 to keep their borders open

00:52:23.120 and it had to know

00:52:24.520 that that would result

00:52:25.660 in the fast spread

00:52:27.040 of coronavirus

00:52:27.840 to other countries.

00:52:29.960 This is the worst

00:52:31.520 sort of behavior

00:52:32.300 and the world's got

00:52:34.220 to understand

00:52:34.880 that there will not be peace,

00:52:37.400 there will not be good order

00:52:38.580 and stability in the world

00:52:39.760 as long as the Communist Party

00:52:41.340 rules China.

00:52:42.460 The Wall Street Journal

00:52:43.240 writes a piece that 0.99

00:52:44.300 China is a sick man of Asia. 0.99

00:52:46.360 It needs to be corrected. 1.00

00:52:48.860 It's not China is a sick man of Asia, 0.94

00:52:50.780 it is the Communist Chinese Party 1.00

00:52:52.700 that's a sick man of Asia. 1.00

00:52:54.460 The Communist Party 0.99

00:52:55.720 has policies

00:52:56.580 that people abhor

00:52:58.260 and it's not just

00:52:59.960 its reaction

00:53:00.580 to the coronavirus.

00:53:02.540 We see this

00:53:03.360 with the suppression of rights,

00:53:05.500 also with the holding

00:53:07.240 perhaps a million people,

00:53:09.360 maybe even three million people

00:53:11.440 in concentration camps.

00:53:13.680 So this is just

00:53:15.460 the essential nature

00:53:16.420 of Chinese communism. 0.99

00:53:18.400 Chinese communism is evil. 0.99

00:53:20.580 While China pretends 0.99

00:53:21.680 to be a responsible member

00:53:23.160 of the international community,

00:53:25.120 in reality,

00:53:26.220 they are doing much

00:53:27.100 to undermine the rule of law

00:53:28.600 and human rights.

00:53:30.280 We at the Epoch Times

00:53:31.400 refer to the Wuhan coronavirus

00:53:33.120 or COVID-19

00:53:34.920 as the CCP virus.

00:53:37.780 Because the Chinese Communist Party's

00:53:39.880 cover-up and mishandling

00:53:41.220 allowed the virus

00:53:42.500 to spread throughout China

00:53:43.700 and create a global pandemic.

00:53:45.820 On March 24th,

00:53:51.260 Texas lawyer Larry Klayman

00:53:52.840 filed a complaint

00:53:54.020 in Texas federal court

00:53:55.320 seeking at least

00:53:56.000 $20 trillion

00:53:57.160 from the Chinese government.

00:54:04.380 Klayman said in a statement,

00:54:06.200 quote,

00:54:06.420 The Chinese people

00:54:07.720 are a good people

00:54:08.600 but their government

00:54:09.460 is not

00:54:10.300 and it must be made

00:54:11.680 to pay dearly.

00:54:15.960 On April 4th,

00:54:17.500 the British think tank

00:54:18.420 Henry Jackson Society

00:54:20.140 advocated for compensation

00:54:21.900 of £351 billion

00:54:24.240 from the CCP

00:54:25.640 to the UK

00:54:26.860 and that the government

00:54:31.800 should pursue it

00:54:32.540 through international courts.

00:54:33.840 The same report

00:54:35.200 called for a total compensation

00:54:36.940 of £3.2 trillion

00:54:38.840 to the G7

00:54:40.960 for the damages

00:54:42.260 caused by the cover-up

00:54:43.580 of the outbreak.

00:54:46.560 On the same day,

00:54:48.620 the All India Bar Association

00:54:50.380 filed a complaint

00:54:51.420 to the United Nations

00:54:52.540 Human Rights Council

00:54:53.660 seeking an unspecified amount

00:54:58.660 as reparations from China

00:55:00.420 over the global spread

00:55:02.000 of the coronavirus.

00:55:04.700 Evidently,

00:55:05.440 the CCP violated

00:55:06.800 the international health regulations.

00:55:08.840 The United States

00:55:10.120 and the international community

00:55:11.500 must regain their senses

00:55:13.040 and take action.

00:55:16.060 Reveal the truth

00:55:17.500 through investigations,

00:55:19.220 initiate sanctions

00:55:20.260 against the CCP

00:55:21.320 and seek massive restitution

00:55:24.060 for the worldwide

00:55:24.940 public health emergency

00:55:26.320 resulting in tremendous health

00:55:28.640 and economic loss.

00:55:30.280 As the people of Taiwan

00:55:31.600 and Hong Kong

00:55:32.560 are insisting,

00:55:33.840 only by trying to stay away

00:55:35.460 from the CCP's invasion

00:55:37.180 can we protect ourselves

00:55:39.060 in this global disaster.

00:55:42.840 Let's start protecting ourselves.

00:55:45.040 Let's start rebuilding our country.

00:55:47.000 Let's start investing in our people.

00:55:48.680 Let's start inspiring people

00:55:50.540 to love democracy

00:55:52.000 and transparency

00:55:53.280 and open markets,

00:55:55.140 not what the Chinese have,

00:55:56.520 which is essentially,

00:55:57.620 if you read document number nine,

00:55:58.920 counter to every single one

00:55:59.980 of those things.

00:56:00.500 So, I mean,

00:56:01.220 it gives us a real opportunity

00:56:02.300 to kind of re-evaluate

00:56:03.520 the kind of world

00:56:04.520 we want to live in

00:56:05.420 and fight for the right side

00:56:07.040 of that world.

00:56:08.640 I want them to see

00:56:09.520 the true nature

00:56:10.240 of the Chinese Communist Party

00:56:11.660 because when they do,

00:56:12.900 they're going to wake up

00:56:13.660 and when that happens,

00:56:15.440 democracies will begin

00:56:16.420 to flourish again.

00:56:17.620 And when that happens,

00:56:19.580 perhaps, just perhaps,

00:56:21.240 the people of China

00:56:21.940 will have a chance.

00:56:22.740 This virus must have a message

00:56:29.060 for all of us

00:56:29.860 as people of this earth.

00:56:31.500 We need to take a break

00:56:33.280 from our busy schedules

00:56:34.480 and seriously consider

00:56:36.300 the repercussions

00:56:37.680 of our ever-expanding

00:56:38.900 scientific research

00:56:39.960 and development.

00:56:41.480 Did we go too far?

00:56:43.340 Do our desires and ambitions

00:56:45.200 go against the laws of nature

00:56:47.240 and pull us further

00:56:48.800 from the direction

00:56:49.620 given by heaven?

00:56:51.680 Maybe when this virus lifts,

00:56:53.780 we can again find

00:56:54.840 our traditional values,

00:56:56.640 rediscover kindness

00:56:57.720 and virtue,

00:56:59.160 family and community.

00:57:01.100 I believe that viruses

00:57:02.960 can't survive

00:57:04.120 where hearts have compassion.

00:57:20.720 I believe that viruses

00:57:24.020 are all right.

00:57:26.200 I think there are

00:57:27.280 no worries about

00:57:28.160 happening in the world

00:57:28.900 but otherwise,

00:57:29.780 if you guysало

00:57:30.380 that we can Dochem

00:57:31.080 will see our riser

00:57:32.640 in an active culture

00:57:33.840 and the way Merlin

00:57:34.820 we know

00:57:35.540 that we are

00:57:35.880 and having a ratio

00:57:36.680 to see these

00:57:37.900 our biases

00:57:39.580 can change

00:57:40.280 andcribe

00:57:40.780 where we are

00:57:42.020 you

00:57:42.260 can make

00:57:44.420 true

00:57:45.980 and

00:57:46.060 you

00:57:47.220 can go

00:57:48.260 and

00:57:48.780 on

00:57:49.220 We'll be right back.

00:58:19.220 We'll be right back.

00:58:49.220 No official opposition, no independent police or courts, a highly censored internet.

00:58:57.060 Steve Bannon calls this a biological Chernobyl, and he's right.

00:59:01.520 And just like Chernobyl, we may not learn the truth until the communist regime finally 0.72

00:59:06.040 falls.

00:59:07.260 May that time come soon and come peacefully, as it did when the Soviet Union fell.

00:59:12.260 Well, that's our show for today.
