00:02:26.360 supporters brought their trucks to the nation's capital to protest remaining COVID restrictions. Now,

00:03:18.700 attention-seeking local busybodies, including allegations that went around the world that convoy members

00:03:25.940 were involved in an arson in an Ottawa area apartment building. Allegations were that these

00:03:32.820 freedom-loving maniacs tried to burn down an entire apartment block while people slept. It was first

00:03:41.840 published by a random account on Twitter in a long hand-wringing screed about how he just didn't want

00:03:48.580 to say these things, but he had to. He included surveillance photos. And then it was all picked up

00:03:54.440 by the eager-to-lie Trudeau-colonized bailout media. Even the mayor of Ottawa, Jim Watson, repeated the lie

00:04:00.400 as gospel that convoyers tried to incinerate people as they slept in their beds. Look at this.

00:04:07.180 Yesterday, we learned of a horrific story that clearly demonstrates the malicious intent of these

00:04:13.040 protesters occupying our city. At 5 a.m., and this was captured on the building's video,

00:04:19.400 on Sunday mornings, two young men were at the lobby of the building on Lisker Street, where they

00:04:23.680 proceeded to light fire starter bricks near the elevators before taping up the door handles so

00:04:29.560 residents would struggle to get out during a fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but this story could

00:04:36.100 have ended very, very differently. It's extremely disturbing and points to a desire to harm our residents,

00:04:42.540 an obvious criminal intent, which I know the Ottawa Police Arson Unit is now investigating.

00:04:48.520 I cannot stress this enough, and I hope this message gets through to the truckers.

00:05:25.640 who are currently hard at work making sure our grocery store shelves are full. And make no mistake,

00:05:31.540 this protest is not hurting the government of Canada or the province of Ontario, and you have no sympathy

00:05:37.880 left here to advantage of the fire in the city of Ottawa. Who are you hurting is anxious and vulnerable

00:05:43.440 residents, and this should not be their fight.

00:05:46.260 Now, the people who repeated that lie just can't find a way to back away from it.

00:05:51.260 Even after police investigated and found that the arson, as small as it was,

00:05:55.540 wasn't an attempt by anybody from the convoy to roast people in their sleep. Far left-wing radical

00:06:01.780 Ottawa mayoral candidate Catherine McKinney even refuses to acknowledge that she might have gotten

00:06:06.900 this wrong, even after the police investigated and found otherwise. Take a look at this.

00:06:12.880 And you're aware that two individuals were both charged with arson and a number of other offenses?

00:06:21.020 That's correct. And in both cases, the media release indicated that they were not associated

00:06:27.420 with the convoy, correct? Yes, I did not agree with that, but that is what the media release said.

00:06:33.000 Now, a little bit of additional information came out about the fake arson attempt

00:06:36.980 in the Trucker Commission this week. You see, every day, the commission publishes documents

00:06:43.320 on their website. And every day at Rebel News, we go back and read them after already sitting

00:06:49.160 through hours and hours of testimony. And the other media don't do this. What I can tell you

00:06:56.200 is this arson attempt that so rattled all those anxiety-riddled, emotionally fragile people in

00:07:02.280 Ottawa and the mainstream media. Well, I can tell you it was so serious that nobody actually reported

00:07:08.060 it to the police until the next afternoon. It was only reported to the Social Justice Police

00:07:13.740 on Twitter. Let me show you the documents. It's an email from someone inside the Ottawa Police Service

00:07:19.420 up the chain of command to Patricia Ferguson. She's the deputy acting chief under former chief,

00:07:25.900 slowly. Now, there were so many lies told pertaining to those who make up the rank and file of the

00:07:31.220 Ottawa Freedom Convoy. Politicians and attention-seeking local busybodies and, of course, Trudeau's trained

00:07:38.020 seals in the mainstream media. Well, they went to warp factor nine in terms of vilifying the protesters.

00:07:44.900 These people were violent and sexist and homophobic and there were even arsonists whose goal it was

00:07:51.460 to burn down entire apartment towers, roasting tenants as they slept. Wow, these allegations sound

00:08:15.860 debunked, there are still those who cling to these lies, such as far left-wing radical Ottawa mayoral

00:08:22.660 candidate Catherine McKinney, who apparently does not agree with the truth. What else does she not agree

00:08:29.780 with? Gravity? That there is salt water in the Pacific Ocean? Unbelievable. And joining me now

00:08:36.980 regarding one of the most outrageous lies that was hatched during the Freedom Convoy, the arson I'm

00:08:43.140 speaking of, of course, is Chief Reporter Sheila Gunn-Reed, someone who has been watching the Emergencies

00:08:54.260 David, thanks for having me on the show. Always a pleasure. Sheila, so much to unpack here, but I think

00:09:01.460 one of the most distressing things is that even when a lie is revealed and it is debunked, such as that

00:09:10.100 arson attempt being falsely linked to the convoy folk, there are still those ideologues out there,

00:09:16.740 such as Miss McKinney, who refuse to acknowledge the truth. Sheila, how do you make sense of that?

00:09:23.940 Do you know what I've learned over the last few years? That if you're an arsonist, a liberal politician

00:09:30.980 is your very best friend. Because you've got two people charged with this arson in Ottawa. Neither

00:09:40.740 one of them are related in any way to the convoy. And yet, their best defense attorney is Catherine

00:09:48.420 McKinney, who is testifying at the public order emergency inquiry that she still believes, despite

00:09:54.900 all evidence, and the police having enough evidence to charge them that this is convoy related. And if

00:10:02.660 you roll back the clock a few years, this is something that Catherine McKinney used to do all the time. 1.00

00:10:08.100 She would talk about the forest fires in BC being evidence of climate change. And then the RCMP saying,

00:10:13.700 actually, they're arson. This is an arson fire. An arsonist did this. But she would stand her

00:10:20.660 ground and say that this is climate change. And therefore, we need to raise the taxes on fuel and,

00:10:27.060 well, basically everything, because it fit her agenda. It wasn't the arsonist. It was always your SUV.

00:10:38.100 Yeah, it reminds me of the ABC detergent ad from yesterday, Sheila McKenna McKinney. I can't tell the

00:10:46.420 difference. Can you tell the difference? But here's the thing. Why can't this person be pressed

00:10:52.980 when it comes to the arson, when it comes to her theory that these were convoy folk? She says, I don't

00:10:59.300 accept that. Well, isn't the obvious line of questioning? Well, what evidence do you have?

00:11:05.860 What do you have that links that arson attempt in that apartment building to people who are with the

00:11:13.380 freedom convoy? Because there's nothing there, is there, Sheila?

00:11:17.060 No, but it's feelings, right? Like there's something in the water in Ottawa that the people in charge

00:11:23.380 think feelings amount to evidence. We heard this from former interim police chief Bell when he kept

00:11:29.060 saying that there was a rise in violence, a rise in violence, and things were getting more and more

00:11:34.020 volatile. The bouncy castles, I guess, were getting especially volatile. But when he was pressed on this

00:11:40.260 issue by a lawyer for the convoy, Brendan Miller, he just said it was a feeling that people were

00:11:47.060 experiencing. So other people's extreme TV induced anxiety, and their agoraphobia, and their unwillingness

00:11:55.220 to go outside because they've been listening a little bit too much to Evan Solomon, or Rosie Barton,

00:12:02.260 or Justin Trudeau, or Mayor Jim Watson, or Catherine McKinney, those amounted, those feelings amounted

00:12:09.700 to enough proof of violence when the police statistics didn't play out that there was

00:12:16.260 any violence from the convoy. I think it was 15, 16 charges between January 27th and February 13th.

00:12:24.900 Only five of those were even remotely violent, and I think two of those are attributed to people

00:12:30.100 committing violence against the convoy, and all the rest were mischief. But all it takes is a feeling

00:12:35.700 there. And so if McKinney feels that this arson is convoy-related, that's all she needs. That's Ottawa.

00:12:44.740 That is astonishing. And yet these are the same people, I would assume, Sheila, that during the

00:12:52.260 heart of the pandemic were saying, follow the science, follow the science. But when it comes to

00:12:57.780 a political narrative, it's not about evidence and proving theories. It's about feelings, as you say.

00:13:04.420 Absolutely astonishing. Sheila, we're several days into the inquiry. I know you've been watching this

00:13:09.860 very closely, and thank goodness for that, because if you depend on the mainstream media

00:13:14.660 for your information, boy, are you ever going to get gypped, shall we say. But tell me,

00:13:20.500 Sheila, aside from the debunking of the arson attempt, what has been your biggest takeaway thus far?

00:13:30.100 Oh, a couple of things. For example, municipal elections really do matter. If you think that,

00:13:37.220 you know, I don't need to vote for my local mayor or my local councillor, they play a big role. And they

00:13:44.100 were the real crybabies in the room when it was senior bureaucrats, which is odd for me to say, who were

00:13:51.620 the same level-headed grown-ups. But my takeaway is that over and over and over again, even the

00:13:59.220 most political police operatives, like Chief Slowly, cannot say that the Emergencies Act was necessary

00:14:06.900 for them to do their job. And that's really what it comes down to. Were there any other tools available

00:14:14.580 to the cops to deal with the convoy? You know what? Even the politically colonized commissioner 0.71

00:14:20.660 of the RCMP, Brenda Luckey, is in emails saying that there were other tools available.

00:14:27.220 But it wasn't the convoy that they were dealing with. They were dealing with Justin Trudeau's ego.

00:14:31.860 And that was the real act of war that the truckers committed.

00:14:34.580 Yeah. And I mean, and it's not looking good for Prime Minister Trudeau, to say the least,

00:14:40.500 Sheila. And speaking of Trudeau, that brings me to another liberal. That would be Ontario Premier

00:14:46.420 Doug Ford. The ongoing drama for several days, it just won't get out of the news cycle, and rightly so,

00:14:52.740 is Ford saying he does not plan to testify, that he'll fight it in court. He's declaring parliamentary

00:15:00.820 privilege. Sheila, what is going on here? I really don't understand it. Doug Ford was quite clear.

00:15:07.380 A few days ago, he said he stands shoulder to shoulder with his new best boyfriend,

00:15:12.980 Justin Trudeau. So what is he afraid of in terms of taking the stand at this inquiry?

00:15:19.460 You know, that was the best part of the beginning of the truckers commission was the day after he said

00:15:25.780 he stood shoulder to shoulder with Justin Trudeau. Emails came out that Justin Trudeau was

00:15:30.580 actively working with Jim Watson to just pin the whole mess on Doug Ford. So I, you know,

00:15:38.260 you know, it was just beautiful. But I think Justin Trudeau, or Doug Ford,

00:15:43.700 Freudian slip right there. I think Doug Ford really doesn't want to have to testify against his friend,

00:15:50.500 Justin Trudeau. I don't think he wants to testify to their exchanges. I don't think Doug Ford wants his

00:15:57.220 emails in evidence. I will tell you, can you imagine what Doug Ford calls people like the

00:16:06.260 convoy truckers behind their back? If we know he calls them horrible names to their faces,

00:16:12.180 like Yahoo's and the like. So imagine what was being said behind closed doors while Doug Ford was

00:16:19.540 sucking up to Justin Trudeau for likes. You know what? I think you're right, Sheila,

00:16:24.660 because he has indeed been consistent with Justin Trudeau. And if you look at what Doug Ford did in

00:16:33.220 terms of having the police come in to shut down the Ambassador Bridge protest, that's the span,

00:16:39.860 of course, between Windsor and Detroit. He's all about a heavy handed way of getting rid of a

00:16:46.500 demonstration. So you are probably indeed correct that it might be some really embarrassing emails

00:16:54.260 and texts and other sorts of statements that Doug Ford never dreamed would become public. And now

00:16:59.940 there's a good chance that they might be. Well, Sheila, I know you're going to continue to watch this

00:17:06.260 inquiry. And thank goodness for that. You're doing fantastic work, I must say. And in the meantime,

00:23:39.560 this, is the number of young, healthy, predominantly males who are athletic, simply dying of heart-related

00:23:50.520 disease. And these tend to be those who got the jab. And it seems to be verboten to suggest there's

00:23:59.160 any connection between the COVID-19 vaccine and these young, healthy males dying on the soccer

00:24:08.840 pitch. What's your take on that? Sure. Definitely, there is a connection between the jabs and these 0.77

00:24:16.300 young players. They're like collapsing on the fields. Even either they're soccer players or they're

00:24:23.100 swimming, they're running. And since we are following the story closely and we are keeping an eye on every

00:24:39.660 doctors, since they start rolling out their vaccine like healthy doctors, they died suddenly with sudden

00:24:46.620 death. And we all know that. Why? 80 doctors. Forget about the athletes. Let's talk about the doctors.
