Transcript

00:00:00.160 I'm Sheila Gunn-Reed. My friend David Menzies is sorting out the audio situation and you are
00:00:04.560 watching the first Rebel Roundup of 2025. This is our twice weekly show wherein we talk about
00:00:11.880 the news of the day completely unscripted as you can tell and David is back. David thank you for
00:00:17.680 coming back. Can you hear me Sheila Gunn-Reed? I can hear you now and I think everybody else can
00:00:22.760 hear you too. Oh there you go. Well sorry for those technical difficulties folks but as I was
00:00:29.080 saying do you know that today is National Drinking Straw Day and what do you think my co-host prefers
00:00:37.940 cardboard or plastic drinking straws? I only ask that question because already I have asked
00:00:44.560 the dumbest question of 2025 but we have 362 more days to go. In any event she is the she-devil with
00:00:53.680 a sword. She is the Khaleesi of Northern Alberta. She is the beloved Sheila Gunn-Reed. Happy New Year
00:01:01.180 to you Sheila. Thank you David. Happy New Year to you too. Did you also notice that today is National
00:01:07.320 Humiliation Day so you can check that one right off the list? Two for one. Two for one. I am broadcasting
00:01:14.880 from my new studio setup that I ripped out and redid during the Christmas break because
00:01:22.180 well I thought it was time. I haven't had like a physical studio in ever and I do. Oh we're zooming
00:01:30.900 in. Did my camera do that? I hope it didn't. I don't. Yeah it's my end. See I haven't figured out
00:01:38.880 how to stop my silly little camera from zooming in and I think it happens when I wave my arms around
00:01:44.820 like a lunatic which is how I talk. So David take it away while I figure out what the heck I've done
00:01:49.180 to myself. Well I gotta tell you Sheila that zoom in that reminds me of that SCTV sketch uh extreme
00:01:56.400 close-up where the host is literally uh two millimeters away from the interviewee uh face so um
00:02:05.000 and I'm not complaining uh you got I am I'm in my mid-40s I don't need a camera this close to my
00:02:10.940 face good gracious. Uh Sheila that new 2025 hairdo that I'm telling you in Toronto if you went to
00:02:18.240 Yorkville Avenue that's a $350 haircut I'm telling you wild yet controlled you know but uh as Sheila
00:02:28.280 sorts out her technical difficulty really folks we're really off on the right foot this year. Oh David just
00:02:34.060 take it away. I've got to figure out what's going on here because we're slightly too close to my face
00:02:40.060 um but yes if you wouldn't mind explaining to people what we're doing around here while I sort
00:02:44.580 out my technical difficulties. Indeed well you know we uh look at all the stories of the news cycle and
00:02:53.120 really right now we're kind of in that quasi silly season of Christmas New Year's um if you work for the
00:03:00.460 federal government you're still on holiday of course but uh the real world uh carries on and wow there are
00:03:08.340 just tons of stories uh in the news cycle there is um uh that never slows down and we can't complain
00:03:18.220 because we are in the news business. Now we do this um Rebel News live stream every Monday and Friday
00:03:26.360 at one o'clock Eastern Standard Time it's usually myself and uh Sheila Gunn-Reed who is um busily
00:03:34.300 zooming out so we don't get too close to her. I don't think she has anything to complain about
00:03:40.240 she said she's in her 40s. Doesn't look a day over 39 to me folks. Ah my Khaleesi is back.
00:03:46.880 Oh I have to keep my hands down. This live my camera has like AI framing and I think when I do stuff
00:03:53.000 with my hands it signals it to zoom in so I'm just going to sort of sit my hands under the desk
00:03:58.120 and hope for the best. You know what um Sheila last year our beloved boss man Ezra Levent he predicted
00:04:05.600 2024 was going to be the year of censorship and wow did he ever nail it. Too many examples uh to recite
00:04:14.440 right now. I think what you just said I think 2025 is going to be the year of AI uh for better or for
00:04:23.060 worse in some cases and uh I again um I I you you think of all the um the movies in the science fiction
00:04:32.180 realm uh particularly uh Terminator where Skynet becomes sentient and um we just saw a brief example
00:04:40.840 of that somehow the AI determined you flapping arms around like you're trying to gain flight
00:04:48.080 means zoom in on me. Uh what are your concerns this year about AI Sheila? I think we've just seen
00:04:55.820 my concerns about AI. I think uh I think AI is going to be the new uh job killer for a lot of people
00:05:04.920 in news uh in mainstream media and I think as uh Polyev takes control of the government
00:05:16.660 sooner rather than later um he will cut off the subsidies to not just the CBC but also to the
00:05:24.000 mainstream media and because of that they are going to replace their newswriters I believe with AI.
00:05:31.660 That's what I think and it could happen to a nicer bunch. I can tell you Mr. Vice President
00:05:37.360 at 10 uh last year he went to one of those AI programs and basically what he instructed it to do
00:05:46.300 was write a David Menzies monologue for ELS and shockingly um in my words the AI program provided a
00:05:59.720 monologue script but what really scared you know me sincerely Sheila was that it included a dad joke
00:06:07.140 it included a Star Trek reference and it included something something slightly risque with the word
00:06:14.340 anyway after it and basically Tan said you know we really don't need you anymore.
00:06:20.340 Sorry David enjoy your retirement your unceremonious retirement uh let's get down to business so I think
00:06:30.500 I have my problems all sorted out my lights are a little bit blue but I can sort of tweak those
00:06:34.820 sorry Olivia you were doing this in real time um as I sort things out um but if people want to get
00:06:41.460 involved in the show if you are watching us on YouTube might I suggest you wander on over to
00:06:45.520 rumble that's a great free speech platform that doesn't care about uh your politics it'll let you
00:06:51.640 speak your mind and it'll also let you do something else because we're completely demonetized on YouTube
00:06:56.560 however rumble allows you to support creators that you like and you can do that through something
00:07:02.260 called a rumble rant it's how we democratize the show and give you your say so if your rumble rant
00:07:09.480 that's their paid chat is over the five dollar U.S. cutoff we are obligating ourselves to read it on air
00:07:15.320 and uh don't let that be the bar for entry though because we frequently read chats that fall below
00:07:20.160 the five dollar U.S. cutoff if we have time and as you know we always go over time uh so there will
00:07:26.600 be time is what I'm telling you um so I think that's it David let's get down to uh the liberal problems
00:07:33.000 shall we and I'm really struggling to keep my hands on the desk like I've got a coffee cup in one hand
00:07:38.060 and my mouse in the other so that I don't wave my hands around and cause my camera to zoom in on me
00:07:44.740 um liberal cabinet minister Marco Mendicino not running in the next election oh
00:07:51.580 yeah uh Sheila I gotta be honest I'm of two minds when I read that headline first of all
00:07:59.380 Marco Mendicino he is such a liar if he were to spit in your face he would say it's actually raining
00:08:08.040 and uh if anyone's saying oh aren't you worried about defamation no it's been proven over and
00:08:14.780 over again that he's a liar remember when he was public uh safety minister uh Sheila when he
00:08:20.560 um said that law enforcement advised him to uh clamp down on the trucker convoy and what happened well
00:08:30.780 we you know the media and and I think an inquiry reached out to the RCMP and the Ottawa Police
00:08:38.280 Service and the OPP and it was no no no so who in law enforcement Marco Mendicino uh were you referencing
00:08:47.380 was it maybe somebody in the city of Ottawa bylaw department no he he climbed up about that then there
00:08:53.980 was that fiasco where he claimed he was out of the loop when Canada's most notorious serial killer
00:09:00.980 was transferred to um well from maximum security to club fed a place that actually has its own hockey
00:09:09.700 rink uh for the offenders I'm talking about Paul Bernardo of course um does anyone anyone believe
00:09:17.700 that Marco Mendicino was not informed of that before it happened and now um he is uh he you know that
00:09:26.620 I'm and I guess it adds credence Sheila to um rats deserting a sinking ship although I hesitate to use
00:09:34.480 the rat descriptor I don't want to offend the rodent community but he knows the writing is on the wall
00:09:40.100 and um uh he doesn't want to face the music and this is where I am of two minds I really don't want
00:09:46.740 Justin Trudeau as I don't want Marco Mendicino to step down I want them to go down with that sinking
00:09:54.760 ship what say you Sheila yeah you know it's clear you know Mendicino is a fair weather friend um but for
00:10:03.240 the longest time he was the dude enforcing all of Justin Trudeau's bad ideas just like Freeland he's the
00:10:09.800 guy who joked with uh David Lamedi about using tanks on the freedom convoy he thought that was a big
00:10:17.660 funny joke and just further to your point that no police agencies asked uh Mendicino for the use of
00:10:25.980 the emergencies act it was the police agencies themselves who testified at the public order
00:10:31.120 emergency commission that that Mendicino and subsequently Lamedi were um just making things up
00:10:38.040 out of whole cloth and uh Mendicino he's been the gun grab pusher so you know like he's been instrumental
00:10:46.560 in so many of Justin Trudeau's uh flagship policies including the illegal invocation of the emergencies
00:10:54.460 act uh good riddance to this liar but I would love to see him just go down with the sinking ship
00:11:00.240 he should have Trudeau tied around his neck like a millstone um but he's getting out while the
00:11:06.380 getting's good yeah I feel like I'm being denied some kind of perverse pleasure me too a schoidenfreude
00:11:13.220 uh kind of uh moment as the the Germans refer to but Jill I gotta read the last paragraph of the
00:11:20.140 Toronto Sun story today about uh Marco Nogo is the headline it's a pickup from the Canadian press
00:11:27.420 but this tells you all you need to know about Marco Mendicino after it describes all the fiascos
00:11:36.160 and all the lying that this individual uh was responsible for during his tenure as a liberal
00:11:42.600 MP this is how the story ends quote more recently Mendicino has been a vocal supporter of the Jewish
00:11:51.160 community and has pressured the liberal government to do more to tackle hate in the wake of the Israel
00:11:58.860 Hamas war end quote now riddle me this Sheila why oh why do you think Mendicino is a supporter of the
00:12:07.620 Jewish community it can't possibly be because his North Toronto riding of Eglinton Lawrence has a
00:12:14.980 significant Jewish minority in it which is what what I'm saying here Sheila and I don't have any way to
00:12:22.200 prove it but I would bet my life on it if this riding we're in had a significant Muslim percentage
00:12:30.500 oh Mancino is on team Hamas 100 this is a guy that doesn't care about right or wrong he only does
00:12:40.000 what's good for Marco Mendicino he is the worst of the worst well he's of the worst of the worst I think
00:12:49.160 it's hard to differentiate who is the worst of the worst days but yeah I mean it's he's going to be
00:12:56.180 punished by the Jewish community for uh being part of a liberal caucus that has allowed these Hamas
00:13:01.280 mobs to run amok uh across Toronto and particularly in Jewish neighborhoods that's why Yara Sachs is going
00:13:07.860 to lose her seat in a beautiful and catastrophic way um the same thing is probably going to happen to
00:13:14.560 Mendicino too so he can say that he's a supporter of the Jewish community but um uh I mean that words
00:13:22.520 are just words you know and Sheila I gotta tell you uh this must be so concerning for the liberal party
00:13:28.980 of Canada because these are 416 writings oh yeah they're fairly safe I mean it's not that they've
00:13:35.320 never been conservative before but when you're talking about um Eglinton Lawrence when you're talking
00:13:41.460 about Yara Sachs writing York Center flipping oh man that is a bellwether of a disaster in the making
00:13:49.920 I would argue yeah and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch we've got uh further to the rats fleeing the
00:13:59.840 sinking ship uh Atlantic liberal caucus is now calling for Trudeau's resignation uh it's a little late
00:14:08.860 guys um if they had called for his resignation over the uh levy of the carbon carbon tax on Atlantic
00:14:20.220 Canada or affordability issues or um out of control immigration which puts strain on our housing and
00:14:27.900 our health care and our wages um if they had called for his resignation for those reasons a couple of
00:14:35.100 years ago I would believe this was slightly sincere but this is just self-serving nonsense and as I said
00:14:41.140 on X as Shania Twain sang in 1993 dance with the one that brought you these guys supported Trudeau
00:14:50.360 propped him up uh sink with him sink with him go down with the ship losers oh yes 1993 that's when um
00:15:00.360 prime minister for a day kim campbell yeah well we're gonna have that that's you know what I'm looking
00:15:07.040 at those polling numbers where the bq is now poised to form the official opposition we're ready
00:15:13.940 for a kim campbell style blowout oh of the liberals yeah and kim campbell took a majority government to
00:15:23.100 I called it the Mazda Miata party oh yeah namely it's a two-seat party I mean it seems inconceivable
00:15:30.460 but that's what happened in 1993 folks and I think it could happen again also for a minivan party you
00:15:37.960 know seven or eight people uh who are liberal mps but Sheila the big question is this and the speculation
00:15:45.600 really ramped up earlier this week with many pundits saying today Friday was when they expected
00:15:52.580 Justin Trudeau to complete his walk in the snow uh like his alleged father did many decades ago
00:15:59.480 and say yeah you know for the good of the party for the good of the country however he's going to
00:16:03.960 phrase it I'm stepping down I to me uh I said days ago I'll believe it when I see it I don't think
00:16:12.060 he is going to willingly step down I wouldn't bet on it or against it but I just think he's in that
00:16:19.460 kind of psychological mindset that he thinks he can win again and he thinks his strategy especially
00:16:26.980 come January 20th when Donald Trump uh becomes the 47th president of the United States he is going to
00:16:33.920 be Canada's savior against mean orange man the mean tariffs that he's threatening to uh put in
00:16:41.060 I think that's the card he's going to play and unless he's forced out I don't see him going
00:16:46.220 willingly what are your thoughts well I don't see him going willingly either however I saw uh maybe
00:16:52.600 Olivia or Efron can bring it up a couple hours ago I think Brian Lilly tweeted about it while people
00:16:59.100 um he uh about the potential for Justin Trudeau to resign today uh I'm not I I'll believe it
00:17:11.060 when I see it uh I think he might resign before he's forced out through a confidence vote uh because
00:17:17.420 he's that sort of control freak um but I do believe that it is not even that he feels himself to be a
00:17:24.720 savior of the Canadian economy which he has absolutely torched to the ground uh from Trump
00:17:30.540 tariffs we know Danielle Smith is already doing her best to save the economy and she's acting as
00:17:36.120 Canada's de facto uh foreign affairs minister so I don't know if there's even room for Trudeau to do
00:17:41.740 something on that front I think that he just thinks that this is his hereditary birthright and in the
00:17:49.180 same way that you would inherit a piece of property from your parents upon their uh death
00:17:56.200 Justin Trudeau feels that he has inherited the prime minister's office and it's his to do with
00:18:03.920 what he wants and I think that's where we're at he's just that level of entitled he's like Canada's
00:18:09.360 prince I think you're right and Sheila why don't we uh shift from the pundits to the people on the
00:18:16.620 street such as that uh lovely lady that you interviewed uh during the Christmas holidays
00:18:22.180 it got a lot of views and well it should and hang on before we do that can I just get an ad read
00:18:29.160 from rumble out of the way and then we'll go into the into those because we have two uh interactions
00:18:34.700 with our uh hereditary leader uh on the street because the peasants were talking to him and then
00:18:42.280 the tone policing broke out from the official CBC conservative types and the mainstream media
00:18:48.580 um who were clutching their paroles about this and I've got a lot to say about it but
00:18:53.260 rumble lets me say these things and we're so grateful for that so uh this sponsorship is from
00:18:59.680 rumble and it's incredibly important to the survival of rumble but also to us here at rebel news as well
00:19:05.260 when rumble first started in 2013 they built a platform for the small creator they didn't censor
00:19:09.740 or have biases they were fair and treated all creators equally no one thought platforms would
00:19:14.640 censor political conversation or censor opinions on covid but boy did they ever facebook admitted they
00:19:19.680 fell to pressure from the biden and harris administration in canada we know that facebook
00:19:24.100 was listening to health canada when health canada would call and complain and say that the normals were
00:19:30.220 saying uh a little bit too truthy of things about covid and they would pull down your uh posts rumble
00:19:38.800 didn't they held the line they're attacked daily for giving us at rebel news a voice to talk to you
00:19:42.780 they're talk they're attacked in corporate media they're attacked by governments like france
00:19:46.460 they're attacked from brand advertisers who refuse to work with them corporate america is fighting to
00:19:51.440 remove speech rumble's fighting to keep it rumble won't survive with brand advertisers they don't get
00:19:55.980 much of it watching our show right now on rumble is the most they can ask from you but if you really
00:20:01.320 believe in this fight and if you have the means one major way you can help rumble survive is by
00:20:05.760 joining rumble premium join the community that believes in the first amendment and believes in our
00:20:10.260 human right to free speech rumble's offering ten dollars off with the promo code studio when you
00:20:15.000 purchase an annual subscription go to rumble.com premium and use the promo code studio like i said
00:20:22.140 if you have the means and believe in the cause now is the time to join rumble premium just you know
00:20:26.120 what cancel your youtube premium and just plant that over at a company that lets you speak your mind
00:20:33.380 but if you don't have the means we're just happy if you watch us on rumble all right i see we have
00:20:39.200 a couple of chats uh on that note um let's take a page from our former finance minister christia
00:20:47.320 freeland cancel your disney plus subscription and shift that money to a rumble premium subscription
00:20:54.460 uh not that i really believe uh freeland's not canceled i don't believe anything freeland has ever
00:21:01.480 said when she's like i don't i don't drive a car i live downtown toronto so i don't drive a car and
00:21:07.900 then she's like getting a speeding ticket in alberta because she's a speed demon and uh she uses a driver
00:21:15.860 everywhere like there's nothing that woman says that is remotely true um i know for a fact she drives
00:21:22.580 a car it's a volkswagen actually i know that because after fraulein freeland had me uh physically
00:21:28.300 assaulted and falsely arrested so on the nose yeah grandpa being a nazi she's driving a volkswagen
00:21:35.680 oh i know another connection hey the people's car um but yeah i know for a fact uh she does have a car
00:21:45.620 so if she's actually said that sheila uh well another marco mendicino moment wouldn't you say
00:21:52.680 these people um we've got a couple of chats um and they're of course from our friend annalisa who
00:21:59.860 uh is a supporter of the show and more importantly just the biggest hype woman for david menzies that
00:22:07.520 you'll ever meet i don't know again there's no accounting for taste um it takes all kinds as my
00:22:13.500 mom used to say uh annalisa 1964 says finally i get to watch live it's been a while got my crocheting
00:22:20.800 coffee and my two favorite rebels so i need to start the new year making sheila say my wonderful
00:22:26.180 words about sweet menzies and oh oh does she ever you know i'll tell you sheila next time i'm in
00:22:35.040 northern alberta i i if they say you know uh flattery doesn't work well i'm gonna prove that to be a
00:22:41.460 falsehood i have to uh take annalisa out for a coffee and she can bring her husband along just
00:22:47.640 i'm gonna chaperone yeah you know people think there's any monkey business going on but for all
00:22:53.120 those nice words for years now i think i owe a debt of gratitude to annalisa so happy new year to you
00:23:00.320 my friend oh david just wait there's more annalisa gives another 20 to absolutely humiliate me on this
00:23:08.340 world humiliation day forcing me to read this oh sweet menzies you're looking very handsome today
00:23:16.040 oh and oh god i'm going to drive you and very sexy yummy yummy thanks sheila you're an incredible
00:23:24.100 lady thank you annalisa sheila at what point do we have to put a parental advisory warning on this
00:23:31.260 anytime now anytime now okay let's get into thank you annalisa speaking of uh things spoken in public
00:23:40.820 uh but we've got the uh the lady her name is emily duggan and uh i sat down and interviewed her you
00:23:51.020 can watch the long form it's like 20 some odd minutes over the christmas holiday um and this
00:23:58.720 lady was at the ski hill with her kids he heard that justin trudeau was at the ski hill and she thought
00:24:06.620 oh wouldn't it be funny if i ran into him well as it turns out she was in the parking lot uh waiting
00:24:13.960 on her kids to finish because she's got a knee injury ironically enough she can't get it dealt
00:24:18.560 with because of justin trudeau's health care system and so she was sort of waiting for her kids to
00:24:23.300 finish instead of continuing on the ski hill and lo and behold uh a pile of security shows up and
00:24:30.540 there's justin trudeau so language warning uh this lady in the most polite of canadian ways
00:24:39.460 tells trudeau to go f off
00:24:42.380 mr prime minister
00:24:46.760 please get the fuck out of bc have a wonderful day now yeah you suck
00:24:54.560 oh sheila i think i can speak for the both of us when i say that emily duggan is our second favorite
00:25:06.100 duggan in the entire world what do you say yeah she's right there behind hacksaw for sure um
00:25:12.640 immediately after this the fancy people of the world were like how dare you
00:25:21.560 say those mean things to justin trudeau in front of his children excuse me
00:25:27.860 this is the guy who drags his kids to the naked man penis parties that we call pride season in this
00:25:35.740 country so i'm not sure if we're supposed to be concerned about the things justin trudeau's kids
00:25:45.180 are exposed to because he exposes his kids to all manner of deviancy not only that he funds
00:25:51.100 organizations that want to ram this deviancy into other people's kids faces through the school
00:25:55.900 system so we know he does that um and uh so his look i'm trying i do my best not to swear in front
00:26:03.940 of kids it's just a personal rule i have but our kids heard justin trudeau say all manner of things
00:26:10.120 about us for two straight years wondering if we should be in society maybe maybe we should be launched
00:26:16.120 into the surface of the sun he said that people who uh oppose him are fringe radical white supremacists
00:26:24.840 and do should there be space for us in canadian society our kids heard the most powerful man in
00:26:33.200 the country say those things about their parents for two straight years and it was amplified by the
00:26:38.300 mainstream media so i'm not sure i care for all the tone policing of emily duggan these days
00:26:44.120 you know it's amazing sheila you referenced uh brian lily of the toronto sun earlier uh i couldn't
00:26:50.240 help but notice the tweet from uh brian lily's best friend warren kinsella who inexplicably writes for
00:26:56.760 the sun even though he's a hardcore liberal how do i know that well he actually worked on the kamala
00:27:01.920 harris campaign and made the worst prediction of 2024 i.e that kamala harris was going to win
00:27:08.600 why because campaigns matter and she's going to get the vote out hello not only did donald trump
00:27:15.400 win the electoral college he won the popular vote too so that tells you a little bit about mr kinsella's
00:27:21.520 credibility but he tweeted i hope i got the words uh verbatim uh justin trudeau is a bad prime minister
00:27:29.840 but this woman is a horrible person why what what what makes her horrible sheila she she is saying
00:27:39.800 what millions of canadians are saying and we know we will know that to be true come election day this
00:27:46.740 year yeah and you know according to her justin trudeau said to her oh you hobbled all the way over
00:27:52.860 here to say that to me like taking a job at her because she's limping because of our crappy health care
00:27:59.180 system that uh you know thanks to uh the federal government we can't really engage in private health care
00:28:08.360 so she can't get her knee fixed um yeah i i just you know these people are ridiculous and you know emily
00:28:15.580 missed an opportunity there i think sheila uh saying yeah i'm hobbling for the precise reason you just gave
00:28:22.740 i'm on some grotesque waiting line to get my knee fixed if we had good health care i'd be running
00:28:30.580 over to you well maybe not running that might get uncle fester of the mounties upset and he'll tackle you
00:28:36.660 and falsely arrest you but that's gallop maybe well that's what i said to her in our interview because
00:28:42.320 she said i didn't catch trudeau saying the hobbling comment because i was trying to upload the video
00:28:47.120 as fast as i can in case something happened to me at the hands of justin trudeau's security and i was like
00:28:51.860 you were right to be worried about that um because they did that to david menzies um not just trudeau's
00:28:58.360 security detail but freeland's as well so yeah i was like yeah you were good job you were like you
00:29:04.760 needed the the public record that you even existed before these people disappeared you for a while um
00:29:11.820 yeah i i mean and then people saying like oh it was staged it was this it was that she's
00:29:17.180 you know just i thought you know what it might be the christmas holidays everybody is talking about
00:29:23.880 this woman could a single journalist in this country try to talk to her so uh i and my friend
00:29:31.520 lise we just sat down and talked to her and asked her like hey what do you feel about these criticisms
00:29:36.520 that you shouldn't have said those things in front of trudeau's kids um how did it happen what brought
00:29:40.960 you to the bottom of the ski hill um the things people wanted to know and based on the view
00:29:47.100 numbers on that video people wanted to hear more from emily so oh and sheila i'll make a very quick
00:29:54.240 clarification there was one other journalist um a great guy a great journalist that would be joe
00:30:00.500 wormington who did reach out and interview her and it was front page of the sunday sun uh so uh good
00:30:07.520 for joe uh for seeing a bona fide news story and reporting it even though the rest of the his
00:30:15.300 mainstream media trained seals they don't like to uh bite the hand that feeds you know and get
00:30:22.160 personal with blackface but joe is the one other guy that i know of that did reach out to emily and
00:30:28.440 interview her yeah let's watch this next video because i've got just a one more point to make on
00:30:34.800 justin trudeau's vacation habits over the christmas season but let's watch this next one trudeau uh
00:30:41.280 gets absolutely roasted by a guy that's sitting next to him at the cafe on his taxpayer funded ski trip
00:30:46.400 in bc i hope he never is able to show his face in public ever again but let's watch
00:30:51.520 yeah that's him all right
00:30:57.580 okay so here's the thing oh my goodness that's so funny that's a that might be the very best
00:31:09.900 four second video of the year was it done last year i would i guess last year so we ended with a
00:31:14.900 bed yeah but and you know sheila if i may i i just want to say this about the whole blackface scandal
00:31:20.560 which was overlooked and underreported by canadian media not foreign media what does that tell you
00:31:26.140 folks but the one thing i find so despicable it isn't so much the blackface paint but it's the
00:31:33.620 fact that whenever trudeau is donning that he is sticking his tongue out like a panting dog here we
00:31:42.160 have some video you'll see what i mean sheila is this how justin trudeau thinks black people um you know
00:31:49.940 mingle in the community they're they're sticking their tongues out like dogs that why could you
00:31:56.720 imagine if that was a conservative politician doing that how much he'd be roasted will he be roasted
00:32:03.300 to the point of being out of a career i would argue uh yeah i mean this is his thing he has done
00:32:12.720 blackface so many times that he doesn't remember how many times he did it and i thought it was an
00:32:19.040 interesting point that somebody made trudeau made sure the pictures of him in blackface
00:32:24.900 were in that yearbook there were other pictures of him doing other goofy things in and around that
00:32:31.480 school but those were the ones that were like given the trudeau thumbs up because he thought it was
00:32:37.180 clever um and this was in a time when i think most people knew that blackface would constitute
00:32:43.260 uh racism among the fancy people circles but i just want to talk a little bit about justin trudeau's
00:32:51.080 uh christmas holiday because it's clear that he's rubbing it in our faces you know after denying
00:33:01.320 canadians the ability to have an affordability election because it's not just about the carbon tax
00:33:07.760 it's about how you can't live in canada anymore and it's our crime rate is higher than that of the
00:33:15.580 united states for crime rate um if you take certain cities out of the equation like chicago and places
00:33:22.200 like that the canadian crime rate violent crime rate is higher than that of the united states and
00:33:27.460 justin trudeau did that if justin trudeau denied canadians the ability to have an election to go into
00:33:37.540 2025 with a new government and some hope the man if he had any shame whatsoever would not have shown
00:33:47.380 his face after the end of the sitting of the house of commons he has an entire winter vacation
00:33:56.980 property paid for by the taxpayer it's a private residence it's known as harrington lake it's got
00:34:03.540 an ice surface there that is fully maintained all the time it has had gajillions of dollars worth of
00:34:10.540 upgrades since justin trudeau came into office it's got cross-country ski trails that are maintained
00:34:16.380 whether or not the prime minister is there or not uh infrared sauna hot tub of fully upgraded
00:34:24.460 facilities a guest house it's at harrington lake the man if he had any shame would have went there
00:34:32.900 quietly and had a christmas vacation instead he's out rubbing his vacation in our faces do you know
00:34:42.900 where pierre pauliev spent his christmas vacation i don't because he didn't rub it in our faces
00:34:49.140 sheila harring forget harrington lake i am absolutely shocked he didn't go to some remote
00:34:56.960 caribbean island that is off limits to anyone including the paparazzi but it speaks to again
00:35:05.700 the lack of awareness just like when it came to blackface how he insisted the school board you know
00:35:11.920 the uh the uh you know the the book the school published have those pictures in it this speaks
00:35:18.340 to also a lack of awareness in terms of you know what i'll go to a public uh ski resort in bc and you
00:35:25.300 know what that that'll um create some opportunities for some feel-good photo ops and wow look at what
00:35:33.200 happened to those feel-good photo ops oh you got the photo op right pal but they were disasters pr wise
00:35:40.420 of course uh but again i think he was rubbing this in our faces he could have went somewhere private
00:35:46.800 but he wanted canadians to know look i'm not going anywhere i'm not going anywhere and so that's what
00:35:53.700 we got you might be right you can't read a mind and so maybe it was i i i offered the theory a lack
00:36:03.800 of awareness but what you're saying sheila that this was maliciousness uh he was deliberately giving
00:36:09.520 the middle finger much like his alleged father used to do from time to time with canadians especially
00:36:14.420 those in uh western canada so you might be right sheila i think i am right um let's go on to olivia
00:36:22.860 says we don't need to take an ad break unless we get a rumble ad read um but let's go on to uh canada
00:36:29.700 versus us because this next one is quite something trudeau also cancelled all his end of the year
00:36:39.720 sit down interviews with all the news outlets which would have been mostly friendly considering
00:36:48.540 all those news outlets are funded by justin trudeau in one form or another so they can only push so far
00:36:54.060 um but he cancelled them all and sat down with mark critch uh the cbc comedian can you call him that
00:37:04.060 cbc uh creation mark critch sometimes he says some funny things i don't know but he sat down for a
00:37:12.640 friendly interview with uh with justin trudeau and they talk about donald trump freedom convoy
00:37:21.060 protesters and border security so let's listen to this nonsense and then like all good quebecers
00:37:29.340 when it got cold you frigged off down to florida you went to mar-a-lago how exciting how was the
00:37:35.160 food was it as plastic as the people in the surgery actually it was a really good steak when you were
00:37:40.140 there uh donald trump said quite frankly canada should become the 51st state and he'd let you stay
00:37:46.500 on as the governor which is the best offer you've had in a while should canada become the 51st state
00:37:52.260 and i'm not against it because at least then we have a chance to win the stanley cup again
00:37:55.720 uh yeah there was a lot discussed during those three hours uh that was an offhand uh jocular moment
00:38:03.700 uh i don't think it was serious even from him and well then he tweeted a picture of him standing with a
00:38:10.240 canadian flag looking out at a mountain range but that was actually switzerland is that a matterhorn
00:38:14.620 wasn't it yeah is that our greatest defense is that americans are really bad at geography
00:38:19.220 i think our greatest defense is that we do things together across the border and anything they do
00:38:26.000 that will hurt us will also hurt them and that's something that he doesn't want to do trump wants
00:38:30.400 you to secure the border you know who should get to do that the freedom convoy people you just line
00:38:36.280 up all those trucks along the border and you know they love to barricade things there's no drugs
00:38:41.020 getting past them and you don't even have to pay him or feed him because pierre polyevich is going
00:38:44.720 to go back and forth all day giving him timbits and so you went down there he liked that kind of likes
00:38:48.320 to be flattered would you consider inviting him up to canada for a state visit like you did for
00:38:53.760 president biden yes that would be nice he'd like that no if you strengthen the border he can't get in
00:39:00.300 because he's a convicted felon we'll see how it goes and we know that 40 years ago your father
00:39:05.640 famously took a walk into snow when the conservatives were up in the polls and decided it was time to
00:39:10.900 give it up it's no one out there now when my father was my age he still had a dozen years of prime
00:39:20.160 ministering ahead of him oh my god oh what's it gonna be oh come on oh no wait wait wait wait wait
00:39:30.180 wait wait wait wait wait good luck more of these flags everywhere please good luck in 2025 because
00:39:38.780 you're gonna need it happy new year happy new year look nice on on my pickup truck
00:39:43.880 wow i don't know where to begin sheila so please as i recompose myself you take it away
00:39:53.400 you know the idea that pierre polyev might bring timbits to freedom convoy protesters
00:39:58.240 shows just an absolute lack of awareness about what is actually happening in this country we have
00:40:04.720 police services that are out there bringing timbits to pro-hamas protesters exactly uh you know just
00:40:11.060 do you not work for cbc if you work for cbc might i suggest you watch some of the network's
00:40:21.120 coverage just so that you're aware of what's happening in the country even if it is through an
00:40:25.400 absolutely taxpayer-funded liberal lens maybe you might want to know do you do you think that it's a
00:40:31.680 good idea to be uh talking about how everybody's plastic down at mar-a-lago um in the middle of
00:40:38.540 trade trade trade showdown with the americans you know while danielle smith is working her butt
00:40:46.060 off to try to salvage what's left of the canadian economy and build inroads into the trump
00:40:50.440 administration the only interview trudeau does about the end of the year about the his end to
00:40:58.560 2024 is with an anti-trump comedian at the state broadcaster it's dumb it's just dumb you know
00:41:05.680 sheila you know what i found the most offensive part of that interview is right in the beginning
00:41:10.240 and it's all about the hypocrisy and the double standard and it was when justin trudeau admitted
00:41:16.760 that when he was down in mar-a-lago he had a great steak dinner and i'm thinking since trudeau is so
00:41:24.240 in on wef policies i thought we're supposed to be eating crickets not steak i suppose we're i thought
00:41:30.780 we're supposed to be giving up our cars at least fossil fuel burning cars for evs although the
00:41:36.060 prime minister's motorcade uh it's exclusively eight cylinder fossil fuel suvs and so he said
00:41:44.080 that without a hint of irony um you know forget about the war on the farmer when it comes to me
00:41:50.020 i like my steak dinner when i go down to florida unbelievable yeah i'm however i'm pretty sure they
00:41:57.280 don't serve crickets at mar-a-lago i think that that would be like your safest place to not find
00:42:03.060 a cricket protein anything would be at mar-a-lago um speaking of uh the tariff problems with the united
00:42:14.200 states and humorless politicians not knowing the difference between a trump joke and reality we've
00:42:21.500 got old loony liz may the uh cult the cult leader of the fringe green party cult here in canada
00:42:30.520 she went on a tirade today against trump's heckling of canada joking about canada becoming the 51st state
00:42:40.900 and replacing trudeau with wayne gretzky she thinks these are all real things i think
00:42:45.280 anyways let's watch i've got stuff to say so no no no sorry and i really also take offense sorry
00:42:53.220 mr trump took offense to your idea that pierre poiliev wasn't good enough to leave the conservatives
00:42:58.760 wayne gretzky i mean he's great he is the great one he skates to where the puck is going he's not
00:43:05.540 going to maga the puck is on a canadian ice rink and by the way mr trump please before making public
00:43:13.080 pronouncements that wayne gretzky should run for prime minister give yourself or get yourself a
00:43:19.300 briefing on the nature of parliamentary democracy a westminster parliamentary system and a constitutional
00:43:25.140 monarchy where no one runs for prime minister we have elections for members of parliament we don't
00:43:33.020 get to pick and choose among our billionaire friends for who gets a seat at the cabinet table
00:43:37.060 if they're not an elected member of parliament well canadian system is different from that of the
00:43:42.480 united states of america i suggest that mr trump find one of his grandchildren's school books
00:43:48.120 and look at the year 1776 which may explain if you think to him about why our systems of government
00:43:53.200 are different i don't want to belittle mr trump but on the other hand hey donald have we got a deal
00:43:59.980 for you you think we want to be the 51st state yeah but maybe california would like to be the 11th
00:44:06.040 province oh how about it california oregon washington yikes you've got geography in common
00:44:14.740 and not only that we've already got a carbon trading system between california and quebec we've got some
00:44:21.180 strong alliances on our west coast from british columbia there's been a lot of academic papers on
00:44:27.000 the idea of cascadia so california governor newsom and washington state jay inslee and newly elected
00:44:35.040 governor of oregon tina kotak how about it want to put a referendum to your citizens because this is
00:44:40.320 what you do have we got a deal for you this is what you get free health care universal free health
00:44:45.320 care no more one-year-olds who suddenly fall off the medicaid list and their parents are in the news
00:44:49.560 because they're trying to do a gofundme so they can get their daughter to a doctor
00:44:52.700 universal free health care and guess what those gun laws that your congress is too afraid to pass
00:45:00.660 because of the national gun lobby we already got our strict gun laws that's why we have the safest
00:45:05.360 streets around the world or at least in the united states by the way we have streets in stats 5.9
00:45:12.780 out of every 100 000 people is killed in a fatal gun incident versus 0.88 per 100 000 in canada
00:45:23.980 that's because we have strict gun laws california citizens oregon washington safer streets here we
00:45:32.560 already have good gun laws and women have a right to an abortion under our universal health care system
00:45:38.400 but you know we don't have to stop there donald think about it you could get rid of all these states
00:45:45.520 that always vote democrat you know what else will take bernie sanders off your hands proud new
00:45:50.700 canadian citizen of the great province of vermont vermont new hampshire maine we'd love to see you
00:45:59.340 our maritime provinces already have deep deep links and ties well enough kidding around but honestly
00:46:09.340 president trump get used to it canada is a sovereign nation full of guess what proud canadians we're not
00:46:18.700 jingoistic we don't boast a lot that's one of the things we kind of have in common with jimmy carter
00:46:23.660 we're not a big nation for braggarts and bullies we actually like to think we're of service in the world
00:46:31.100 we could do better we can always do better
00:46:36.300 but we love our country and it's a country it's a nation and we do not aspire to be
00:46:43.660 51st state so let's not hear that anymore if it was a joke it was never funny and it ends now
00:46:53.740 oh there's a joke on the screen all right and uh well i don't know sheila maybe it's elder abuse maybe
00:47:01.100 it's offside to make fun of the mentally ill but i mean it's so telling her cherry picking of the states
00:47:08.220 uh on the left coast uh california washington and oregon and then on the east coast we have maine
00:47:16.700 new hampshire and uh vermont um how about florida texas and tennessee those are my kind of states
00:47:25.740 if we're adding uh new canadian provinces but you know she let at least she didn't go full uh islamic
00:47:33.820 terrorism do you remember a decade ago and maybe super producer uh olivia can source that that
00:47:40.380 infamous uh embarrassment that was elizabeth may i think it was at the correspondence dinner in ottawa
00:47:47.820 and i think she was drunk in fact i would bet on it and she started singing welcome back cotter
00:47:55.500 but to um changing the lyric cotter to cotter our own uh homegrown uh al-qaeda terrorist this woman
00:48:03.660 is a lunatic sheila she said that she was on nyquil at the time oh really i believe that
00:48:11.740 i'm not sure if nyquil is habit forming but apparently i would guess it is because she's
00:48:17.900 behaving this look at her okay i'll shut up all right representing ontario but really that would
00:48:24.700 have been my fun moment but they don't let me in on that i don't know why i i keep begging
00:48:29.100 lisa megan what can i do i want to be a backup girl doo-wop doo-wop anyway
00:48:36.940 i have very little time to share with you what must be important which is to say
00:48:43.580 we've now heard from the only three of us as federal party leaders but there are four of us
00:48:49.180 you know voici les quatre chefs des partis au niveau federal et les questions clés c'est que
00:48:59.020 lesquels ce n'est pas comme les autres comme des autres peut-être tout le monde pense
00:49:08.380 it never occurred to me that we would have a prime minister who didn't show up right it's been nine
00:49:14.940 years okay i gotta calm down yeah anyway she goes on uh lisa mcleod has to come drag her uh
00:49:24.700 drunk ass off the stage um where was lisa mcleod today because we could have used a little bit of
00:49:31.020 it listen yeah yeah lisa mcleod should wear like a referee uniform uh what and and by the way what
00:49:39.260 you're looking at folks that was um the theme from welcome back cotter a forgettable uh 1970s sitcom
00:49:47.180 but she was singing welcome back cotter uh can you imagine a someone who aspires to be prime minister
00:49:55.020 lauding a terrorist who killed one of our allies and partially blinded another and of course was uh
00:50:02.620 nicely rewarded uh with 10.5 million that was one of the first things that justin trudeau liberals did
00:50:08.620 back in 2016 um sheila i don't recognize this world sometimes i i can't believe the caliber of
00:50:16.060 people that get into public office quite frankly and liz may is she's like i say she is a cult leader
00:50:25.500 because once she gets ousted then she just gets right back in like it's crazy um the woman is
00:50:32.380 absolutely insane like that what what we saw there was a press conference like not the lisa mcleod saving
00:50:40.140 her from herself and you know that's how bad it was is that a conservative had to come get on stage
00:50:45.420 and rescue i think the audience from liz may i don't think she was rescuing liz may from herself i think
00:50:50.780 she was trying to spare the audience any more nonsense um because i mean liz may can blow herself
00:50:56.780 up all who cares right but uh what we saw her tirade about trump that was a press conference
00:51:04.380 about trump jokes and she had prepared notes like she was making sure like she was like yeah this is
00:51:09.260 gonna be good say that liz say that liz like talking yourself up making notes to make sure she got
00:51:15.180 all the things she wanted to say out and frankly after listening to her i hope she is our trade
00:51:24.380 negotiator with the trump administration because i accept those terms let's do a swap i'll go to the
00:51:33.100 united states well like the central part of british columbia alberta saskatchewan and maybe a little
00:51:40.700 bit of manitoba we'll go where we're more culturally compatible and canada gets new york oregon and uh
00:51:49.660 uh california i accept these terms don't threaten me with a good time oh i i don't know and you know
00:51:57.820 sheila let's not forget just like trudeau such a flagrant hypocrite this is the leader of the green
00:52:05.340 party and you remember a few years back i think it was in bc at the i think it was the victoria day
00:52:10.700 parade and what vehicle was elizabeth may uh in the parade uh was it a plug-in toyota prius oh no
00:52:19.820 it was a dodge viper think about that folks a two-seater 10-cylinder 640 horsepower car and
00:52:30.860 she's not like sneaking off to a country retreat she's proudly in a parade when she's advocating
00:52:37.980 going green again a lack of self-awareness yeah of course of course i mean but that's liz may i i did
00:52:47.500 there's something i think psychologically wrong with that woman yep completely um she took a big
00:52:53.420 swipe at danielle smith today said danielle smith isn't helpful uh by going to the trump inauguration
00:53:00.140 like danielle smith like i said is working her butt off to try to save the canadian economy from trump
00:53:04.700 tariffs uh trying to build inroads to make sure that our oil and gas isn't tariffed our agriculture isn't
00:53:10.540 tariffed and uh doing the things that the federal government should be doing at the border uh securing
00:53:17.260 the alberta border even though that that is a like a federal government duty she's sending our uh public
00:53:23.020 safety minister down to texas to meet with um the americans to talk about border security this is all
00:53:29.020 stuff that our current public safety minister federally should be doing if you wanted to rescue
00:53:34.540 the canadian economy from tariffs we're doing it and she's saying oh danielle smith you're not being
00:53:39.340 helpful she's trying to save everybody not just alberta but whatever uh you know liz may's tirades
00:53:46.700 aren't helpful uh we've got an ad read from our friends at 1775 coffee and then uh we should go into
00:53:55.900 uh terrorism and immigration um yeah so uh let me just scroll back down so do you enjoy the free

00:55:08.860 and try their amazing coffee we've got one chat from alberta don who makes a very salient point
00:55:15.260 alberta don gives us five bucks and says the g7 this is true and i cannot wait for this the g7 is
00:55:22.540 hosting their yearly meeting in june at cananaskis in alberta this year it's a remote mountain resort
00:55:32.380 just uh west of calgary trudeau considers himself a world leader there is no way trudeau steps down before
00:55:38.620 then that is a great point uh with canada hosting the g7 at cananaskis uh trudeau is going to want to
00:55:46.060 be the guy there uh i just hope he isn't you know who my heart breaks for there sheila is antifa there's
00:55:54.540 no way they're going to be able to crash that g7 meeting in cananaskis are you kidding i don't
00:56:01.100 think there's a subway line that runs to that mountain resort is there uh no no no no no there's one
00:56:08.380 one way in and one way out um which i guess make yeah i guess and uh a helipad so i guess it makes
00:56:15.740 it really uh well not easy to scare but they're more able to secure it than i don't know where else
00:56:23.100 we might hold it where where should we hold it uh toronto kettle everybody no thanks being there done
00:56:29.820 that exactly but at least they gave birth to that day at least they gave birth to the caricature
00:56:36.140 and poster boy for bad policing and i'm speaking of officer bubbles who actually arrested a little uh
00:56:43.340 gal who was blowing bubbles uh he deemed that to be assault um and he will never live that down
00:56:51.340 uh let's go to uh a video from pierre polyev who wisely is continues to go around the mainstream media
00:57:01.820 uh he sat down with dr jordan peterson i think the preeminent thinker in the anglosphere
00:57:07.100 um for a long-form interview and i think it'll there are a lot of incredible clips there but uh
00:57:14.700 polyev really articulated why he wants to be the prime minister what he plans to fix and he talks
00:57:22.620 about the promise of canada and how the promise of canada has been broken under the trudeau liberals
00:57:28.620 um and he talked about trudeau's mass immigration policy so let's show that clip please immigration
00:57:35.740 porous border i think our per capita immigration rate exceeds that of the u.s even given the u.s open
00:57:41.340 southern border oh by far in in we had a population growth of 1.2 million uh in 2023 that's on a base
00:57:53.740 of 40 million people so it's an astonishing number of people to bring in in one year everyone now
00:58:01.420 admits that this was a calamity uh for housing the job market and our health care well true to himself
00:58:09.020 walked it back recently he walked it back with what was the approximation of a public apology yes
00:58:15.660 this is after he called everyone who questioned his immigration policy a racist right and then he
00:58:21.180 adopted the policies that he can see he was calling racist um only a year and a half earlier
00:58:28.220 you know judo reminds me sheila uh you know and that's a great example uh you were a racist until
00:58:35.500 now in which case you're not a racist but there's this great dennis rodman story when he was married
00:58:41.340 to carmen electra and carmen electra came home early from a trip and she goes up to the master bedroom
00:58:49.100 and there is dennis rodman her husband in bed with another woman and carmen electra says dennis who's that
00:58:59.180 woman and he says what woman says um the naked woman lying right next to you and uh rodman goes
00:59:10.220 oh her uh she fell out of the ceiling and that to me is like justin trudeau a minute ago you were a
00:59:17.260 racist for questioning the amount of immigration into the country and suddenly uh when i say in the words
00:59:25.580 of jordan uh peterson what approximates a public apology sorry for bringing in too many people in
00:59:31.260 too short a time with too few skills uh suddenly you're not a racist uh it's unbelievable sheila
00:59:38.620 yeah i mean if you questioned the amount of temporary foreign workers in the country causing
00:59:42.780 the youth unemployment rate in this country to skyrocket a year ago you were racist and now mark
00:59:49.660 miller's like we got to do something about these temporary foreign workers
00:59:52.380 they're the job market for the young people and they're driving down the wages and we're like
00:59:57.740 yeah yeah we know well we know we've been saying that and you called us fringe radicals because of it
01:00:03.180 um it's it's just you know and they think they're so clever that canadians don't see what they're doing
01:00:12.060 uh we're not hard of remembering at all you liberal idiots um now daniel smith has something very
01:00:20.300 similar to say she uh has well the the alberta government has these sort of sit down interviews
01:00:27.260 uh with uh politicians but daniel smith she has like this it's almost like a little talk show that they
01:00:33.500 do um and it's on the your alberta youtube channel and she uh talks about how justin trudeau's immigration
01:00:42.460 surge caught everyone by surprise and in alberta we're not against immigration we'll take all the
01:00:49.340 ontarians we can handle who are fleeing ontario um uh we're happy to provide jobs for our fellow
01:00:57.820 canadians who are struggling in other jurisdictions but we can't do that if justin trudeau keeps uh
01:01:03.580 dumping immigrants into alberta so let's listen to that the uh the government was was building about 19
01:01:11.820 schools a year and that was fine when we had sort of a predictable regular enrollment growth the surge
01:01:19.660 that we've seen in the last three years i think caught everyone by surprise is part of the reason
01:01:23.420 why you're now having a backlash that is happening quite frankly in in every uh province in the country
01:01:30.060 and why uh everyone had to put pressure on the federal government to take a more realistic approach
01:01:36.060 to how many newcomers we can actually absorb in our economy that being said we we now know that we
01:01:42.220 we have a huge number of families who've come here it's a large number of kids who are going to need
01:01:47.660 that care and our job is to build the schools so we've increased the amount of schools that we're
01:01:52.460 going to build to 30 per year we think we need 200 000 new school spaces by 2030 and the model that
01:01:59.100 we're going to to uh to use is that we're going to build and own the facilities so that we can
01:02:04.300 make sure that we're managing them over a longer period of time and paying for them over a longer
01:02:08.460 period of time and it's allowed us to to really accelerate that growth we want to make sure that
01:02:11.900 we're not building a too much too fast because the private sector is also moving they've got a lot
01:02:17.260 of homes to build that's right and if you try to pile too much construction in all at once it can
01:02:22.220 just cause inflation as well so uh we we do believe that we've got the right balance we're going to have
01:02:27.820 to keep on monitoring and recalibrating that but it is uh we we want to be very welcoming to um to
01:02:34.380 to those who are coming here to help build our economy and looking for good jobs and that means
01:02:38.940 that we've got to keep up with growth wow sheila given that you're in alberton it must must be so
01:02:44.620 great to have you know an adult in the room when it comes to the premier's chair after what you went
01:02:51.420 through with the ndp for those years yes and the uh bait and switch we got with jason kenney
01:02:59.180 it's nice to have an actual conservative uh who governs as a conservative instead of just a
01:03:05.020 conservative in name only as what we got with jason kenney he talked a good conservative game but he
01:03:11.500 when the rubber met the road uh he was not a conservative at all um so it's refreshing and uh
01:03:20.380 she continues to stand up for alberta's interests and alberta's interests continue to be in the best
01:03:25.260 interests of the country so i couldn't be happier about that um olivia tells me that we should uh talk
01:03:32.380 about this uh toronto area teen who was arrested over an alleged plan to travel to join isis
01:03:44.380 police police recently what does it say here police recently uh applied for a terrorism peace bond to
01:03:52.620 restrict the movements of an 18 year old from new market uh the accused cannot be named due to his
01:04:01.580 age excuse me he's 18 yeah how did somebody buy that as a legitimate excuse not to name this person he's
01:04:11.580 18 that's an adult he can vote uh why are we not naming this person i wonder why we're not naming
01:04:19.020 this person you know i'll go a step further sheila um why are we stopping this person from realizing
01:04:25.260 his isis dreams here's my policy hey here we'll even subsidize the flight just one hitch you ain't coming
01:04:31.820 back uh you're on a a terror watch list now you're on a no-fly list so this is in effect a one-way trip
01:04:39.580 and if you've uh sworn allegiance to isis and you want to go to isis's backyard um i think that's
01:04:46.860 win-win for canada and canadian sheila i'm of two minds because if we become a net exporter of
01:04:53.420 terrorism as we tend to be under justin trudeau i think that's bad for us i would hate to allow this
01:04:58.140 young man to go to isis and then he's involved in terror terrorism and sex slavery and all those
01:05:03.980 sorts of things that we know isis does uh burning captives alive and those sorts of things i would
01:05:09.980 hate to know that canada let him go um but i also don't want him here so you know what what do we do
01:05:19.340 about that um the article goes on yeah i guess but then i don't i don't know if we know he's going
01:05:27.820 to commit terrorist acts do we let him go well here's the thing um what's to stop him from committing
01:05:34.620 terrorist uh attacks in new market ontario canada sheila see this is what do you do with these guys
01:05:40.540 yeah you know what you do with these guys you don't let them into the country in the first place
01:05:43.980 well i agree with that but if he wants to go back to the shite hole from whence he and his family came
01:05:49.340 from uh by all means um i i don't see a downside here yeah and you know on the flip side um as long
01:05:57.580 as the liberals are in power he'll go there yep uh do something bad get into trouble and then like
01:06:03.340 start waving around his canadian passport uh so that somebody comes and gets him and brings him home
01:06:08.460 like so many isis brides have done um the article goes on to explain that although the defendant is
01:06:16.540 an adult now much of the allegations occurred much it should say many many of the allegations occurred
01:06:22.860 while he was a young person said natalie who uh spokesperson for the public prosecution service
01:06:28.220 of canada yes but if he's 18 now and he's still expressing an interest to go name him please
01:06:34.860 yeah no now i see the weasel words that they're using to prevent his identity from being presented
01:06:43.100 um you know sheila if that was an identical person with some white supremacist group um what do you
01:06:51.020 probably yeah we probably have his address in the story as a matter of fact yeah yeah this guy was a
01:06:57.820 proud boy we'd know everything about him we know what church those two um rcmp carried out two high
01:07:03.660 profile operations in 2024 targeting ontario-based men accused of planning isis-inspired mass murders
01:07:13.100 just two in 2024 of course we know the ldd's they were arrested in toronto in july and charged with
01:07:19.020 that's the guy who was featured in the isis uh hacking up a crucified prisoner video who became a
01:07:26.780 canadian citizen subsequent to that um he was uh he was arrested and then separately rcmp arrested
01:07:35.500 mohammed shahzeb khan in september the a pakistani citizen living in mississauga arrested near quebec
01:07:43.180 at the u.s border he was en route to new york to carry out an isis-inspired mass shooting at a jewish
01:07:49.340 center oh knock me down they talked to a mental health worker to try to get to the bottom of this
01:07:56.620 radicalization problem now i'm losing track sheila was that uh new york intelligence or um france
01:08:05.180 intelligence tipping canada off france it was france on the ldd's and then it was american i think
01:08:11.500 it was homeland security on the second one the bank accounts of the freedom convoy supporters in canada
01:08:20.300 believable wow well you know what sheila i see by the
01:08:26.300 you coming in uh extra special story i must say
01:08:32.220 great time i hope our viewers had a great time i guess sheila gun reed the question everybody
01:08:37.260 wants you to answer did you have a new year's resolution this year uh yeah i did and normally
01:08:45.020 i don't uh but i'll let you go first what was yours oh it's very simple if folks you feel down

01:09:26.380 man named sean review my 600 pound life episodes on youtube when i'm on the treadmill to get my steps
01:09:35.180 in when it's minus 30 like it is today my so i i cannot recommend sean enough um but uh my new
01:09:42.300 year's resolution is to create better bedtime habits because i am not a good sleeper at all i sleep very
01:09:49.980 little um although i function okay on very little sleep but i feel like maybe that's going to start to
01:09:55.100 catch up to me as i am in my mid 40s so i'm trying to create better bedtime habits like be in bed by
01:10:01.180 10 with my phone flipped over um by 10 30 and uh three days in i've failed completely so shame on you
01:10:10.140 sheila you need your sleep and i tell you sheila the two most underrated luxuries in life is getting
01:10:18.140 enough sleep and a hot shower and i'm telling you you deprive people of those two things for a
01:10:24.620 prolonged time and we turn into savages i'm telling you we give them 10.5 million dollars
01:10:30.860 that's what we did for omar cotter he didn't get enough betty by time and so we decided his human
01:10:35.900 rights were violated and we're like here's 10.5 million dollars by a strip mall and out in edmonton
01:10:42.380 which is what he did anyways i think that's it the show's all wrapped up and i figured out that
01:10:46.140 auto zoom problem with my camera so friends you will not have to get that close to my face
