00:00:00.000 what's going on at university campuses in manitoba this truth and reconciliation week
00:00:20.580 it's wild i'm sheila gunreed and you're watching the gun show
00:00:23.860 i tested out something a little while ago it was called the saskatchewan soapbox and i brought in
00:00:45.480 my real life best friend but also co-host on the rebel news roundup live stream on tuesday and
00:00:53.780 wednesday lee smurl she's a resident of regina saskatchewan and another political commentator
00:01:00.100 from saskatchewan michael coros and we discussed issues facing saskatchewan and i asked you guys
00:01:06.600 what you thought about it and if you thought i should continue to do it overwhelmingly um you
00:01:11.960 said yes but you also said hey can you expand it to manitoba you ask i deliver i will tell you i did
00:01:19.720 get one criticism and you said it's that we were too familiar with michael coros um i'll give you
00:01:26.080 some background uh why lease called him mikey one of you was real irritated about it um but i'm glad
00:01:33.860 you wrote in so that i could explain things to you because um maybe you don't know lease and michael
00:01:40.140 were co-hosts co-contributors on the john gormley show in saskatchewan for a very long time they are
00:01:48.460 very close friends and uh so they are of course familiar with each other and so one of you said
00:01:55.280 that it was um unprofessional um but just so you know there's that history there they're very good
00:02:05.360 friends um and so uh out of affection she called him mikey and hopefully you guys can understand that
00:02:11.440 moving forward but the whole you ask i deliver you asked me to cover manitoba and so that's what
00:02:19.660 we're going to talk about today professor francis widdowson took her discussion show on the road
00:02:28.400 to manitoba to the university of manitoba university of winnipeg where she was absolutely mobbed
00:02:36.180 thanks to the pitchforks and torches lit by faculty members at those universities and so we're
00:02:49.220 discussing that we're also discussing the fact that pride parades on the prairies they're suffering
00:02:55.800 they're victims can't you see because well i don't know corporate sponsors have pulled out and they
00:03:02.600 can't get enough money from the government to hold parades that nobody cares about especially in
00:03:07.780 places like the mennonite community of steinbach manitoba so uh michael coros is not on the show
00:03:16.760 today he's traveling but he will be back four weeks from now on the next saskatchewan soapbox but i think
00:03:24.120 it's more of a prairie soapbox show so joining me now is my friend lise myrtle to discuss those issues
00:03:31.460 all right we're leaning back into our saskatchewan soapbox episode i know it's been a while since we
00:03:45.800 convened our western prairie panel and it's just lisa and i today because our third michael coros
00:03:52.840 is traveling but i promise we'll have him back on again very soon he might even be on the buffalo
00:03:58.200 panel on the daily live stream but i heard good things when we talked about western focused issues
00:04:04.340 not exclusively alberta but also saskatchewan and we're gonna get a little bit into manitoba today
00:04:10.380 actually a lot of it into manitoba today because it's truth and reconciliation day as we're recording
00:04:16.580 this but it is truth and reconciliation week which means um a lot of apologies for things our
00:04:24.340 ancestors may or may not have done to people we don't know a lot of public public groveling and
00:04:30.940 virtue signaling happening this we probably more virtue signaling this week than any other week
00:04:35.880 of the year yes so as you know joining me is my friend lise merrill uh she's my co-host on the
00:04:42.380 live stream on tuesdays and wednesdays and just about every single election night of any sort across
00:04:47.920 this country lise uh i'll let you kick it off what is it that you want to talk about first scott mo
00:04:54.420 and the most recent apology for residential schools uh or we could talk about francis widdowson
00:05:02.460 uh taking on academia in our sister province of manitoba or we could talk about lgbtq and women's
00:05:12.320 groups bracing bracing for their funding to get uh repealed we can talk about any of those things in
00:05:20.380 any order you like whatever you want sheila gunreed okay welcome to the saskatchewan soapbox just step on
00:05:26.100 it and start talking step on to it let's talk about this one it is uh i'm gonna scroll up the
00:05:33.820 lgbtq plus and women's groups of course they have to separate the two because one is antithetical to
00:05:43.200 the other brace for funding cuts as ottawa looks to trim spending uh federal minister overseeing
00:05:50.560 ottawa's gender policy why do we have such a thing has urged activists to speak out and lgbtq plus
00:05:59.100 and women's organizations are staging an advocacy push this month on parliament hill um so the minister
00:06:06.460 is enlisting her army of taxpayer-funded activists yes to push the government to give them more money
00:06:17.120 trans tifa if you will the federal minister for women rechie valdez is weaponizing trans tifa
00:06:25.520 to put pressure on the federal government to keep that gravy train a rolling uh and apparently we're
00:06:34.940 promised an austerity budget i doubt we'll see it coming on november 4th uh but women and gender
00:06:42.720 equality canada says that the potential is that funding will drop from 407 million this year to 76
00:06:52.160 million the year after and cut a bunch of bureaucrats down to half and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch
00:06:58.480 um i don't even believe that this ministry should exist because my women's issues are taxation
00:07:04.720 jobs uh just like everybody else and this has just become uh a petri dish for trans issues and gender
00:07:15.860 issues which are i think antithetical to civilization but particularly weaponized against christians and
00:07:23.300 families yes without question so uh faye johnstone good old faye johnstone aka zach johnstone head of the
00:07:34.420 advocacy group queer momentum who was ps working with saskatchewan and alberta educators in the lead
00:07:41.960 up to the last uh election municipal election cycle told the reception oh p.s this is a group of people
00:07:49.000 sheila gun reid made this point before sheila gun reid they don't have any money they're complaining
00:07:53.920 about not having any money but what do they still have enough money for parties for themselves
00:08:00.140 parties for themselves told this fancy swanky reception that a right-wing backlash against lgbtq
00:08:07.280 plus rights is hitting transgender people like
00:08:11.240 himself particularly hard as provinces seek to restrict access to medical services and youth outreach
00:08:20.520 he says when you listen to the voices of the trans confused kids in saskatchewan and alberta you
00:08:27.920 know that that shame is being taught once more so just for the record this is a person that literally
00:08:34.640 flew across the country to campaign for the ndp in saskatchewan this was a person that is liaising
00:08:43.140 with the crazy gender activists within saskatchewan uh education specifically the regina public school
00:08:51.800 division p.s visit fire the school board.com to get rid of those lunatics but here's a person who
00:08:58.440 is in deep grief because they realize that their multi-million dollar gravy train is going off the
00:09:03.520 tracks and good as long as women's organizations are prioritizing mentally deluded men who think
00:09:13.320 they're women well then they're not women's organizations at all are they so good i hope they
00:09:19.040 lose every penny of funding i hope these guys all have to go get regular jobs you know i would love
00:09:24.540 to see zach johnstone working in a home depot i'd love it nice little orange orange apron although he
00:09:33.780 probably won it for the kitchen who knows right well and like this is a neat little trick that the liberals
00:09:41.860 play here because the feds give them money and then they turn around and ask the feds for more money
00:09:50.840 like it's crazy and then they take that money and then fight against parents because the feds have no
00:09:59.500 jurisdiction in education so what they do is they fund these activist groups to take on the provinces who
00:10:05.680 are acting on behalf of the parents this is how they get around jurisdictional issues yes johnstone
00:10:11.740 even admits it johnstone said his group is ramping up lobbying on the hill to ensure and safeguard that
00:10:19.340 funding and those supports that our community uh our community relies relies on yeah yes the funding
00:10:28.640 this is because it's not a grassroots thing this is a top-down federally funded crazy initiative that has
00:10:35.120 gone so far out of control um that it that it just needs to be uh burned to the ground and salt the
00:10:41.300 earth around it the end all of this gender madness has to end but like sheila she so you said that the
00:10:48.580 the federal government funds these ngos these radical gender ngos to then do things like write letters
00:10:57.500 to the government so so what are they doing with the government the government pays radical gender
00:11:06.600 people to write letters so the government can receive the right you know what i mean like right
00:11:15.180 it's a neat scam because then the government will say we got half a million letters we must act and it's
00:11:25.840 like you you paid someone to send those letters it's like buying twitter followers there's a contract
00:11:30.300 like they're bragging about it on the internet look there's a whole campaign to back it up to bolster it
00:11:36.120 it is crazy to think that that that this has any support amongst conservative or common sense or
00:11:42.980 traditional people in canada is just is just ridiculous and i believe when the true cost of all of these
00:11:50.140 initiatives over all of the years comes out uh canadians are going to be rightfully and justifiably
00:11:56.720 outraged and the next part of this i find extra despicable in the wake of the execution of charlie
00:12:04.900 kirk in the wake of catholic schools being shot up by trans radicals um they go on to blame far-right
00:12:14.640 extremism by far-right extremism they mean i don't know the knights of columbus parents um bryce field
00:12:23.360 of fierte canada pride which advocates for pride festivals said far-right violence and threats are
00:12:30.920 causing pride organizers to scale back their festivals entirely what are you talking about
00:12:35.580 you people are shooting our side and that's despite the fact that ottawa has allocated 1.5 million to
00:12:43.100 pride festival security over three years yes and not only that but pride festivals are losing their
00:12:50.420 sponsorships i sure so alarming numbers well thank god we had every major banking institution every
00:12:57.980 major insurance institution every retail institution every like pride was co-opted by these companies who
00:13:07.500 thought it was a great idea and then realized that the pushback or the backlash to their support of these
00:13:14.220 highly contested issues in in the communities that they were supporting wasn't paying off in the end so instead of
00:13:22.780 instead of acknowledging that this is something that that that the market doesn't support and that their their uh sponsors
00:13:30.500 are bailing out on what they're saying is quickly government of canada give us bags of gold to make
00:13:37.300 up for the shortfall we'll spend it on security okay their security is nothing more than their own members
00:13:44.820 in stupid little vests with whistles okay that is all their security is um and and yet here they blame us
00:13:52.820 us here they blame us far right extremism the manitoba pride all the way sorry yeah i know sorry i know
00:14:02.020 let me realign those chakras get all the way bent the manitoba pride allowance announced this month that
00:14:08.500 steinback pride that's a mennonite community by the way had to cancel its festival due to credible safety
00:14:16.580 threats connected to far right extremism the pacifist mennonites are coming to get you how about nobody
00:14:21.460 cares in steinback in a conservative part of that province they go on to say there's a significant
00:14:27.300 amount of pride festivals in this country that are not going to have access to the funds to keep their
00:14:31.060 community safe why do you need a pride festival why do you you're not entitled to that's not a human
00:14:35.780 right to have a pride festival that's right my co-workers are just trying to make sure that the
00:14:40.260 people in the parade aren't going to be and let's be honest are hoping that we don't get shot
00:14:44.820 what you're not the victims what isn't this this is projection on the absolute greatest scale imaginable
00:15:01.220 we're all we're all learning and acknowledging that trans-related left-wing activism comes with a much
00:15:12.260 much greater risk of severe violence okay severe violence whether it's against women and children
00:15:21.060 or whether it's against people like charlie kirk and here you have here you have a pride
00:15:27.060 representative saying well we just don't want to happen to us what we've been doing to them
00:15:33.780 you see make it make sense sheila gun reed and they get paid to do this they get paid to be delusional
00:15:39.700 like just imagine imagine saying that after charlie kirk gets killed imagine saying that after
00:15:49.300 a catholic school gets shot up imagine saying that after last year's or maybe it was earlier this year's
00:15:56.260 uh deranged trans school shooter i mean it never ends nobody is shooting up the pride parade nobody nobody
00:16:05.380 like literally we just stay away we just stay away and look at the pictures after and go who would
00:16:11.460 support this well who supports this this is real interesting though this next part sheila gun reed
00:16:16.420 can i oh go ahead go ahead no no no no no not at all you go so so this article goes on to say this year's
00:16:22.340 pride caucus events included conservatives no tory senators or mps attended last year's event mp scott
00:16:30.420 atchison and greg mcclain attended this year's pride caucus along with various liberal ndp and bloc
00:16:35.780 quebecois mps who have been present in previous years the two conservative mps who publicly identify
00:16:41.620 as lgbtq plus and they don't they uh they they identify as lg lg lg uh melissa lansman and eric duncan
00:16:53.380 are not part part of the pride caucus good no conservative worth their salt should be supporting
00:17:01.380 pride in any capacity in canada publicly ever because the thing about being conservative it's
00:17:07.700 not just about being economically or fiscally conservative it means being socially conservative
00:17:14.820 and if you can point to a time when any of your grandparents went to a pride parade and said you
00:17:20.340 know what adopting this was great and it worked for us well then you can claim that as part of a
00:17:24.340 conservative heritage but as long as i have a thing to say about it conservatism means to conserve
00:17:31.140 right to save what we know works and to do that again and again and again and this like like when
00:17:40.660 when conservatives participate in this they're just showing themselves to me that they should not be in
00:17:46.820 the party thank you like the last thing i care about is melissa lansman's sexuality she's a
00:17:54.820 phenomenal mp she's great on the terrorism issue yep but that doesn't matter this this but it but it
00:18:03.300 does concern me it does concern me because melissa lansman has also publicly said today is the trans day
00:18:10.260 of visibility everybody look at the visible trans people melissa we can't avoid them they are
00:18:17.540 literally everywhere shoehorning themselves into our be more visible
00:18:23.620 shoehorning themselves into our women's institutions our public institutions and schools across canada
00:18:28.900 does melissa lansman have kids because if she did and they were going to canadian public school i think
00:18:33.540 she'd have a different uh a different opinion about trans day of visibility but until we divorce this
00:18:38.980 as conservatives 100 it's not good enough and it won't be good enough for me i get that's it just
00:18:46.740 has to it just has to end yeah okay let's move ahead to now that we've discussed that got that out of
00:18:54.980 our system thank you yes yes uh i saw this uh post from dallas brody oh she's so good she's so she is
00:19:04.020 is i'm just going to see if i can stop dallas brody is a 1bc mla from uh british columbia she is a truth
00:19:14.820 teller a fierce fierce advocate for conservative values and one of the only people who is publicly
00:19:21.220 taking on the machine in british columbia what did you say well let's uh she posted this to her ex i'm
00:19:29.620 going to see if i can find it here and play it so that you can hear it okay here we go we begin
00:19:37.940 tonight with the horrific discovery at the former kamloops indian residential school in british columbia
00:19:44.660 they would shave our heads and beat the hell out of you these are crime scenes
00:19:50.500 the residential schools was a genocide of our people 215 children were found in unmarked graves
00:20:00.100 because of your white privilege you can't take our truth the federal government is ready to
00:20:05.460 dispense 10 million dollars 8 million dollars 27 million dollars to find unidentified burial sites
00:20:12.180 we will follow the evidence we will follow the science we are here for truth telling neo-tribal elites
00:20:23.060 are pretending that it's been found that there's 215 children there's a difference between murders
00:20:29.300 and children dying in the building there's no list of names of missing children at any of these schools
00:20:35.220 that's been my battle for four years there wasn't murder there wasn't genocide why do you think they
00:20:42.580 are holding to this mass grave story there have been all kinds of political gains as a result of
00:20:48.340 this story this week the senate passed bill c15 aimed at aligning canadian law with the united
00:20:54.820 nations declaration on the rights of indigenous people that law was a surrender of the province
00:21:01.140 they have a right to the land they own it all of it so is that what we're saying could someone be
00:21:09.220 benefiting from land being handed away willy-nilly they're worried about property rights and how it
00:21:14.980 could possibly affect them with the dropper legislation you're not getting the truth it feels like there is
00:21:21.140 an incredible desire to keep this down the reaction from those with various kinds of interests will be
00:21:27.460 fierce this member's incoherent and consistently racist posturing in this house against indigenous
00:21:33.060 and first nations denialism is hate is there an end are we ever done reconciling why haven't you dug in
00:21:41.140 the ground yet the millions of dollars you receive all these millions that are revenue that going through
00:21:46.260 my dad it's not empowering aboriginal people at all because we have no idea where all this money's going
00:21:51.220 the journey of reconciliation is a long one but it is a journey we are on
00:22:04.020 making a killing they called it making a killing oh dallas brody you go get it girl and saying that
00:22:12.980 there are political gains to be to be made during this time it is the reconciliation racket it is happening
00:22:20.580 across the country mainly in western canada but it is happening across the country and a great many
00:22:26.980 people are filling their pockets with a great many pieces of gold because of this uh because of this
00:22:34.500 racket incredible making a killing what a great title i can't even imagine the firestorm that's coming
00:22:41.460 dallas's way but good for her um but i'm glad she's doing this i see that she's included actual
00:22:50.580 scholars on this like barry cooper michelle sterling from friends of science i saw her in this uh jim
00:22:55.700 mcmurt jim mcmurti is in there drea humphrey is in there she did a documentary on the
00:23:04.900 kamloops indian residential school and it there's such a key point in the documentary um and you can
00:23:11.700 find it on our youtube page if you're looking for it friends out there but when the discovery was first
00:23:18.580 made at the school which it appears to be actually a septic field um but when the discovery was first
00:23:28.180 made the band put 200 plus wooden crosses along the highway drea went there a year later and said hey
00:23:39.700 what happened to all the crosses who took them down and the band said we took them down because they rotted
00:23:47.220 and they didn't weather well you don't say you do not say you don't say almost like what maybe could
00:23:57.060 have happened in a graveyard yes yes um so uh anyways dallas hunker down you're in for you're in for the
00:24:07.940 absolute worst of the worst and uh big lady balls to publish that on today you know what though that
00:24:15.140 the the way that these things are unfolding in canada is almost almost almost always with a woman
00:24:23.620 at the helm so we have dallas brody in british columbia we have francis widdowson who we're
00:24:29.300 going to talk about in a little bit in alberta amongst many many other women who just identify
00:24:36.100 some of these questions are still problematic and and in a way that don't make sense to them
00:24:42.500 they're like listen if there is a rational explanation then please give it to me but what
00:24:47.540 they are going to face and what they are facing every single day is this intense backlash how dare you
00:24:55.220 ask questions how dare you challenge the narrative um you must be eliminated and so uh dallas brody we just
00:25:04.020 love you we are just great big humongous fans of your work and we need truth tellers in this world
00:25:10.340 and so so just all the best to her i can't wait to watch their film i can't wait and that wyatt claypool
00:25:16.020 right is somehow is he involved with one bc i believe he is i think he is i think he i think he is too
00:25:25.460 uh that that he would be sort of involved maybe in the background of this he's a fantastic writer
00:25:30.820 uh and uh and i look forward to this project yeah yeah me too um and you know it's funny to
00:25:37.940 recognize all those faces like barry cooper um he is uh a documentarian of western canada um
00:25:48.260 dr barry cooper dr humphrey who's done so much work on this and michelle sterling who's done so much work
00:25:55.780 on the history of residential schools um to see their voices to add nuance to this discussion that
00:26:05.860 is not black and white sure you know we're and and the truth of the matter is 321 million canadian
00:26:15.300 taxpayer dollars right vanished poof into the air over this issue and and yet there are still
00:26:24.740 niggling questions did it actually happen the way that they said it happened and it increasingly
00:26:29.940 every day looks like no it did not so what on earth are we doing who are we funding where did
00:26:35.860 the money go to where did the money go where are we how are we going to stop this absolute economic
00:26:42.260 hemorrhaging to virtue signaling groups who will gladly lie to take the money okay that is what they do
00:26:49.140 they'll lie they take the money so what are we going to do to stop that what are we going to do
00:26:53.220 to stop this rapid and vapid corruption because this is an industry that popped up in the last five
00:27:00.820 years so right and and the worst part is it makes uber skeptics because then you have people who sure
00:27:10.420 will say like for me i take a nuanced approach there was good there was bad as is with everything in
00:27:16.420 uh canada's past like people were products of the time in which they lived right so i get it but you
00:27:24.980 are making people skeptic to a fault when you are telling them you can't have these discussions you
00:27:32.660 can't ask these questions how dare you wonder where a third of a billion dollars went like where does it
00:27:38.820 go what did it go to yes what's the roi on this is it where is the return on the investment on this that
00:27:45.460 is exactly right and the intro the intro the opening line to that um to that piece that dallas brody is
00:27:51.300 going to release was uh they they used to they used to what did he say shave our heads and beat us
00:28:04.580 and i went well that's how that's how uh olden days institutions used to deal with head lice
00:28:11.220 and also in the olden days we all used to get beat okay i've been spanked with more things than i can
00:28:17.060 count in my life deserved every last one of those spankings okay and i never did those things again
00:28:22.580 and i feel like in this day and age so many belligerent petulant young people just need a
00:28:30.260 spanking and to be put to bed without dinner okay that would solve a lot of these of these issues but no
00:28:36.580 no but well no the the story has been the narrative has been so grossly um so grossly like what's the
00:28:47.860 deformed or or right like what you know what i mean like it's just been carried away to a point where
00:28:53.060 it's no longer believable to regular people and so this is a big problem especially because there's
00:28:58.180 there's there's uh a third of a billion dollars missing well honestly the lies about this and the
00:29:06.980 inability of people to talk about this or you know people will talk about this but people are also
00:29:12.260 worried about social cancellation because of it and it is i think driving racism against indigenous people
00:29:21.300 i i firmly believe that i think that people i i do because it's distrust distrust and i don't i
00:29:30.740 it's undoing that social cohesion well and if if the government is working towards indigenous self
00:29:37.060 governance right which i would love to see of course if if we are working towards indigenous
00:29:43.060 self-governance then we must not have hundreds of millions of dollars go missing when it's uh earmarked
00:29:53.060 for indigenous initiatives we need indigenous people to step up and you you saw it there you saw it there
00:29:59.940 where they say we just don't know where any of the money went yeah there needs to be a full accounting
00:30:05.780 full transparency and again sheila gun reed in the new country we're not going to make these mistakes and
00:30:12.100 we're not going to participate in this in this sure sure sure you know and just to like fully form my
00:30:19.940 idea that you know like i i see this lack of accountability in the indigenous industry it does
00:30:27.540 i think foment a sense of division and from that sense of division grows this uh us versus them
00:30:34.340 mentality and i don't think that that is how a society moves forward when you see somebody without
00:30:41.620 proof get a third of a billion dollars and you don't see anything for it and you're like oh you
00:30:46.180 got that just because you were indigenous uh all of a sudden we've got you know enough versus them
00:30:53.220 mentality and i think it is a great evil that the these governments are perpetrating on and speaking of
00:31:01.140 this let's do let's do use that as a perfect segue into giving indigenous groups bags of money okay let's
00:31:08.980 let's use that so speaking about people who are um should have been spanked uh the
00:31:16.660 people on the university of manitoba campus what is happening in manitoba
00:31:24.580 francis widdowson professor from mount royal university who lost her job for um just simply
00:31:30.900 trying to have conversations about such stuff as residential schools and free speech and transgenderism
00:31:35.860 um she goes to university campuses and she talks about issues that the i i think it's the faculty
00:31:44.820 who are really the problem because i've seen reports where we've sent out rebel news journalists to cover
00:31:51.220 her um events on campus and the kids even the ones that disagree with her are like yeah just
00:31:57.540 completely disagree with her the lady is wrong but she has a right to have these ideas it's the faculty
00:32:04.100 who are canceling her and whipping up the crazy people and um i'll show you this clip of just some
00:32:14.340 of the reaction and then i'll i'll show you the proof that it's the faculty that's behind all this stuff
00:32:21.300 but we've discussed previously francis widdowson is a lady of the left like she is an economic leftist
00:32:27.300 spent her life in academia right so this is this is this is her world she's one of them when francis widdowson
00:32:37.220 went off narrative and went off script and spoke her truth well then they came for her and you have never
00:32:44.660 not in all of your live long days heard a woman as mad as francis widdowson is at these people okay let's watch to see
00:32:55.460 she's got a list of enemies that she will list by name that is like the length of the battle river crow
00:33:04.580 foot ballot like seven feet long single spaced people who wronged her and this woman is just going
00:33:13.140 on spite alone and i don't know if she smokes but she looks like she smokes and i mean that in the nicest
00:33:18.420 way because she looks cool but if i were her i'd be living on spite and cigarettes and she went to the
00:33:24.100 university of manitoba and uh as she says here in this clip orange shirt female cry bully pouring water
00:33:35.220 on my sound system orange shirt female cry bully spitting on a bystander that's assault and deranged man
00:33:42.900 punching daniel page who is her videographer so let's watch this and where are the police where is
00:33:50.660 wab canoe the ndp premier of manitoba where are you nahani fontaine anyways let's watch this this
00:33:58.180 teeny tiny woman should be allowed to have ideas
00:34:05.300 the audio isn't that great
00:34:20.660 the audio is
00:34:38.340 in
00:34:41.140 they just poured water
00:34:54.860 that's a well-known tactic
00:34:58.220 that's a well-known tactic of Antifa and the radical left
00:35:08.000 so all on this
00:35:09.280 they're just standing around peacefully
00:35:10.820 water spitting
00:35:12.580 the spitting just happened
00:35:13.800 and then
00:35:14.860 Daniel I think gets punched right away
00:35:19.800 trying to intimidate Frances look how small she is
00:35:44.920 she is a tiny woman
00:35:46.680 she's like 90 pounds
00:35:48.820 what happened to respecting your elders I thought your culture did that
00:36:13.780 all right well that's that
00:36:31.100 so just in that clip
00:36:34.160 and that's after all the crazy stuff happened
00:36:37.920 which people can watch on the live stream we talked about it on Monday
00:36:42.480 of just the like intense screaming at Frances
00:36:45.860 intimidating her
00:36:47.640 drums in her face
00:36:50.140 like noise
00:36:52.180 deafening noise making devices in her face
00:36:55.620 people screaming at her
00:36:57.440 she and I cannot state this clearly enough
00:37:00.920 she is a tiny tiny little woman
00:37:05.200 okay she looks tiny
00:37:06.960 she has gray sort of at the sides
00:37:09.840 the gray the tinsel in her hair betrays her wisdom that she comes with
00:37:16.100 okay and for these people to scream at her I'm sorry I thought that in First Nations culture
00:37:20.840 you revered your elders I thought that that was the thing
00:37:23.560 was I wrong when I got that because when I saw all of those
00:37:26.540 petulant
00:37:28.040 belligerent
00:37:29.160 aggressive
00:37:29.880 violent
00:37:30.840 young indigenous people screaming at Frances Widdowson
00:37:34.440 it kind of doesn't align with what the culture says does it
00:37:37.620 right
00:37:38.540 and we
00:37:41.540 they're just standing around peacefully
00:37:43.420 they're not bothering anybody
00:37:45.000 they're not even
00:37:45.600 Frances isn't even doing her thing where she invites people to have discussions
00:37:50.120 they're just recouping and sort of um what do they call that
00:37:56.000 debriefing after the chaos they just lived through
00:37:59.620 right
00:38:00.160 and this lady comes over
00:38:02.160 pours water on their sound system
00:38:04.140 somebody else gets spit on
00:38:06.540 and then somebody gets punched
00:38:08.480 that
00:38:09.260 that sounds like a regular left-wing activist protest to me
00:38:15.460 like that happens at almost every left-wing protest
00:38:18.540 where they will show up
00:38:20.300 um
00:38:21.200 they're gonna instigate
00:38:22.720 they're gonna cause
00:38:24.120 they call it good trouble
00:38:25.300 they call it good trouble on the left
00:38:26.980 right like let's go cause some good trouble
00:38:29.000 while damaging equipment being physically violent
00:38:32.640 and enraging their more lunatic fringe side of the left
00:38:37.340 but Frances Widdowson
00:38:38.720 like what she has this great strategy for talking on university campuses in
00:38:42.700 in Canada
00:38:44.400 she has these little floor mats
00:38:46.340 right
00:38:46.740 she has these little floor mats
00:38:48.020 and she stands in the middle
00:38:49.740 and there's a question
00:38:50.760 that is poised
00:38:51.620 to whoever is in attendance
00:38:53.200 and you can either
00:38:54.820 agree
00:38:55.800 and go stand on the agree floor mat
00:38:58.100 or disagree
00:38:58.820 and stand on the disagree floor mat
00:39:00.980 and she's gonna engage with you
00:39:02.660 either way
00:39:04.000 but they won't even let her
00:39:05.780 have the conversation
00:39:07.720 and so
00:39:09.280 I gotta
00:39:09.860 I just gotta talk about
00:39:11.460 witnessing
00:39:12.380 Frances Widdowson
00:39:13.680 receiving the George Jonas Freedom Award
00:39:17.000 at the Justice Center for Constitutional Freedom Awards Gala last week
00:39:20.240 that we went to in Calgary
00:39:21.460 okay
00:39:21.760 and she said she was going to Winnipeg
00:39:23.760 and we're like
00:39:24.280 oh
00:39:24.900 I was like
00:39:26.080 we gotta go to Winnipeg
00:39:27.180 like we tried to
00:39:28.120 we just couldn't make it work
00:39:29.540 but we wanted to be there
00:39:30.740 I was in ostrich universe
00:39:32.840 for
00:39:33.180 when I should have been at home
00:39:34.680 and it was just such a tight turnaround
00:39:36.300 but we desperately wanted to be in Winnipeg
00:39:38.580 with Frances Widdowson
00:39:39.360 so
00:39:40.100 so basically
00:39:41.020 I am my
00:39:42.140 I just want everyone to know
00:39:43.420 I am an awards ceremony expert
00:39:46.460 okay
00:39:46.760 there is no awards ceremony
00:39:48.360 or beauty pageant
00:39:49.340 or dog show
00:39:49.880 that I won't watch
00:39:50.700 I love them
00:39:51.720 and
00:39:52.580 I have seen
00:39:53.560 literally thousands of
00:39:55.100 acceptance speeches
00:39:56.180 in my day
00:39:57.240 Frances Widdowson's
00:39:59.900 acceptance speech
00:40:01.060 of the George Jonas Freedom Award
00:40:02.960 for 2025
00:40:03.740 was unlike
00:40:05.500 any acceptance speech
00:40:07.180 we've ever ever heard
00:40:08.880 like nothing I've ever seen
00:40:10.740 it
00:40:11.760 it
00:40:12.360 it was remarkable
00:40:13.420 like it was truly remarkable
00:40:15.340 it left me
00:40:16.680 like shivering in my seat
00:40:18.680 not only
00:40:19.340 like
00:40:19.620 on one hand
00:40:20.420 Frances was very
00:40:21.420 Frances Widdowson
00:40:22.100 was very very
00:40:23.100 gracious
00:40:24.860 and humble
00:40:25.680 and humbled
00:40:26.580 by the support
00:40:27.400 that she received
00:40:28.260 from the people
00:40:28.940 in that room
00:40:29.500 amongst them
00:40:30.640 ten other professors
00:40:32.540 from Mount Royal University
00:40:33.840 right
00:40:34.260 who were there
00:40:34.940 to support her
00:40:35.780 but on the other side
00:40:37.500 of that
00:40:38.000 Frances Widdowson
00:40:40.100 came with a list
00:40:41.180 like Aria
00:40:42.220 from Game of Thrones
00:40:43.520 about the people
00:40:44.480 that she is
00:40:45.320 going
00:40:46.180 to seek vengeance
00:40:48.860 upon
00:40:49.240 okay
00:40:49.500 she exists
00:40:50.560 out of
00:40:51.140 just vengeance
00:40:52.260 it
00:40:53.300 was incredible
00:40:55.180 listen
00:40:55.540 I gotta tell you
00:40:56.500 something
00:40:56.660 if you
00:40:57.100 if you come
00:40:58.040 for Frances Widdowson
00:40:59.240 you best not
00:41:00.220 miss
00:41:00.440 get on the list
00:41:01.120 you're gonna be on the list
00:41:02.480 she
00:41:03.100 she is coming
00:41:04.860 with fire
00:41:05.720 but it wasn't
00:41:07.080 like
00:41:07.320 it wasn't
00:41:08.340 an effusive
00:41:09.140 or celebratory
00:41:10.520 awards acceptance speech
00:41:12.300 Frances Widdowson
00:41:13.840 sounded
00:41:15.180 more like
00:41:16.220 a witch
00:41:16.600 on trial
00:41:17.300 okay
00:41:17.960 this is a woman
00:41:18.660 who is trying
00:41:20.940 to defend herself
00:41:22.140 against
00:41:23.000 the crazed
00:41:24.660 pitchfork
00:41:25.980 small town
00:41:27.440 who are coming
00:41:28.100 for her
00:41:28.480 and not only
00:41:29.440 does she see
00:41:30.280 your pitchforks
00:41:31.560 okay
00:41:31.780 not only
00:41:32.220 does she see them
00:41:32.920 but she's staking
00:41:34.400 her claim
00:41:35.000 in the ground
00:41:35.400 okay
00:41:35.620 she is putting
00:41:36.380 up her own
00:41:37.000 witch's stake
00:41:37.780 and she is daring
00:41:39.020 you to light
00:41:39.880 the match
00:41:40.380 but the crazy
00:41:41.040 thing about
00:41:41.640 Frances Widdowson
00:41:42.420 and women
00:41:42.960 like Frances Widdowson
00:41:44.640 is that they
00:41:45.740 would rather
00:41:46.300 watch it all
00:41:47.460 burn
00:41:48.040 okay
00:41:48.780 then put up
00:41:50.040 with one
00:41:50.780 more
00:41:51.640 minute
00:41:52.740 of this
00:41:53.540 insanity
00:41:54.080 and so
00:41:55.320 Frances Widdowson
00:41:56.020 is a personal
00:41:56.620 brand new
00:41:57.400 personal hero
00:41:57.860 of mine
00:41:58.280 and of Sheila Gunn
00:41:59.120 Reads
00:41:59.380 and we are
00:42:01.200 here for her
00:42:02.260 all day
00:42:02.680 every day
00:42:03.100 I do a lot
00:42:04.400 of things
00:42:04.720 in my day
00:42:05.120 just for spite
00:42:06.020 I really do
00:42:06.980 and so I have
00:42:08.100 a great admiration
00:42:09.420 for a woman
00:42:10.120 who shares
00:42:10.780 a love of spite
00:42:11.880 like I do
00:42:12.480 but yeah
00:42:12.920 that witch trial
00:42:14.040 analysis
00:42:14.520 is perfect
00:42:15.380 Frances Widdowson
00:42:16.520 is tired
00:42:17.680 of being
00:42:18.200 strapped
00:42:18.740 to the chair
00:42:19.400 and dunked
00:42:19.960 in the river
00:42:20.380 to see if she
00:42:21.000 floats
00:42:21.360 like she's
00:42:22.000 over it
00:42:22.640 and she has
00:42:24.800 and she has
00:42:25.540 been like
00:42:25.860 when you
00:42:26.340 when you hear
00:42:27.540 her story
00:42:27.920 when you hear
00:42:28.360 Frances Widdowson
00:42:28.960 stories
00:42:29.280 and some
00:42:30.080 very very
00:42:30.880 powerful people
00:42:32.060 heard Frances
00:42:33.620 Widdowson's story
00:42:34.500 at that event
00:42:35.240 okay very powerful
00:42:36.380 very well placed
00:42:37.660 I'm glad you
00:42:38.260 mentioned that
00:42:38.840 powerful people
00:42:40.120 when she
00:42:41.060 when she talks
00:42:42.040 about what
00:42:42.520 happened to her
00:42:43.180 the story
00:42:44.020 just gets worse
00:42:44.840 and worse
00:42:45.280 you cannot
00:42:46.140 believe
00:42:46.700 that every
00:42:47.540 single element
00:42:49.420 of the public
00:42:50.280 institution
00:42:50.820 that was meant
00:42:51.620 to keep
00:42:52.100 you know
00:42:53.080 guardrails
00:42:54.180 on safeguards
00:42:55.180 to make sure
00:42:55.860 that this
00:42:56.300 didn't happen
00:42:56.940 failed her
00:42:58.340 and I love
00:42:59.560 the oh
00:43:00.360 Sheila Gunn-Reed
00:43:00.860 where she pointed
00:43:02.060 out that Carla
00:43:03.000 Marx remember
00:43:03.820 Carla Marx
00:43:04.580 was the person
00:43:05.260 that screamed
00:43:05.780 at Jennifer
00:43:06.180 Johnson
00:43:06.520 that she must
00:43:07.120 affirm
00:43:07.420 that trans
00:43:08.460 women are
00:43:09.080 women
00:43:09.360 no no no
00:43:10.220 no you
00:43:11.320 will not
00:43:11.700 did that
00:43:12.020 to me
00:43:12.760 Carla Marx
00:43:13.960 was at the
00:43:14.720 center of
00:43:15.300 getting Frances
00:43:16.360 Widdowson
00:43:17.060 fired
00:43:18.040 from Mount
00:43:19.420 Royal University
00:43:20.300 and so to
00:43:21.340 hear this
00:43:22.000 and to hear
00:43:22.680 her string
00:43:23.180 it all
00:43:23.540 together
00:43:23.880 in this
00:43:24.520 really
00:43:25.880 alarming
00:43:26.940 story
00:43:27.660 I mean
00:43:28.160 it was
00:43:28.520 incredible
00:43:28.900 I just
00:43:29.500 I just
00:43:30.060 can't say
00:43:30.380 enough about
00:43:30.760 Frances
00:43:31.080 Widdowson
00:43:31.360 I want
00:43:31.640 to be
00:43:31.900 her
00:43:32.080 when I
00:43:32.400 grow up
00:43:32.720 I
00:43:32.880 you know
00:43:33.400 what
00:43:33.560 I'm
00:43:33.760 in
00:43:33.900 training
00:43:34.240 I'm
00:43:34.900 Frances
00:43:35.280 in
00:43:35.560 training
00:43:35.960 and we'll
00:43:37.600 get to the
00:43:38.100 proof
00:43:38.500 that we
00:43:38.860 have
00:43:39.280 that this
00:43:40.520 came from
00:43:41.260 the faculty
00:43:42.500 at the
00:43:43.440 University of
00:43:44.560 Manitoba
00:43:44.980 but I
00:43:45.440 should tell
00:43:45.820 you
00:43:46.020 remember
00:43:47.000 at that
00:43:47.780 gala
00:43:48.620 where we
00:43:49.300 noticed
00:43:50.480 that there
00:43:51.420 was a
00:43:52.000 senior
00:43:52.340 chief of
00:43:52.940 staff
00:43:53.580 for a
00:43:54.660 member
00:43:54.920 of the
00:43:55.400 Alberta
00:43:55.740 government
00:43:56.180 there
00:43:56.600 yeah
00:43:57.300 remember
00:43:57.720 I just
00:43:58.220 don't
00:43:58.360 want to
00:43:58.540 give it
00:43:58.760 away
00:43:59.040 maybe
00:43:59.380 they
00:43:59.680 don't
00:43:59.800 want to
00:44:00.060 hear
00:44:00.400 whatever
00:44:00.680 we'll
00:44:01.040 just
00:44:01.240 leave
00:44:01.820 it
00:44:01.940 but
00:44:03.540 you
00:44:04.720 were
00:44:04.900 there
00:44:05.240 senior
00:44:06.040 chief
00:44:06.280 of
00:44:06.420 staff
00:44:06.700 to
00:44:07.380 listen
00:44:07.720 and to
00:44:08.620 see
00:44:08.740 what
00:44:08.880 you
00:44:09.000 could
00:44:09.160 do
00:44:09.420 and
00:44:10.740 things
00:44:11.980 happened
00:44:12.380 so
00:44:13.200 just
00:44:13.620 this
00:44:13.820 week
00:44:14.100 Alberta's
00:44:14.700 advanced
00:44:15.060 education
00:44:15.600 minister
00:44:15.980 got a
00:44:16.280 new
00:44:16.400 mandate
00:44:16.720 letter
00:44:17.020 and
00:44:18.120 it
00:44:18.920 was
00:44:19.160 to
00:44:19.340 assess
00:44:19.700 the
00:44:19.920 need
00:44:20.100 for
00:44:20.240 new
00:44:20.420 protections
00:44:21.120 for
00:44:21.420 free
00:44:21.680 speech
00:44:21.940 and
00:44:22.080 academic
00:44:22.480 freedom
00:44:22.780 on
00:44:22.960 campus
00:44:23.400 you
00:44:23.880 don't
00:44:24.600 say
00:44:25.320 you
00:44:25.980 don't
00:44:27.280 say
00:44:27.900 I'm
00:44:29.600 I mean
00:44:30.160 I'm delighted
00:44:30.640 to hear
00:44:31.000 this and
00:44:31.380 I continue
00:44:32.020 to be
00:44:32.700 I continue
00:44:34.060 to be
00:44:34.360 blown away
00:44:34.800 by the
00:44:35.160 responsiveness
00:44:35.760 of the
00:44:36.200 government
00:44:36.480 of
00:44:36.700 Alberta
00:44:37.020 as
00:44:37.520 soon
00:44:37.660 as
00:44:37.780 they
00:44:38.180 don't
00:44:38.560 they
00:44:38.740 don't
00:44:38.960 let
00:44:39.280 moss
00:44:39.720 grow
00:44:40.260 on their
00:44:40.640 rolling
00:44:40.880 stones
00:44:41.200 Sheila
00:44:41.420 Gunn-Reed
00:44:41.820 okay
00:44:42.040 the
00:44:42.540 government
00:44:42.820 of
00:44:43.120 Alberta
00:44:43.480 acknowledges
00:44:44.960 that there
00:44:45.380 is an
00:44:45.640 issue
00:44:45.880 and they
00:44:46.320 set out
00:44:46.980 to fix
00:44:47.620 it
00:44:47.840 immediately
00:44:48.680 which is
00:44:49.720 something
00:44:49.920 the
00:44:50.100 government
00:44:50.380 of
00:44:50.640 Saskatchewan
00:44:51.340 should
00:44:52.260 think about
00:44:53.140 doing
00:44:54.020 now and
00:44:54.920 again
00:44:55.180 once in a
00:44:56.360 while
00:44:56.740 let's
00:44:58.640 now
00:44:59.160 incredible
00:44:59.700 I'm so
00:45:00.160 delighted
00:45:00.480 proof
00:45:00.920 our
00:45:01.980 proof
00:45:02.620 that
00:45:03.340 the
00:45:03.700 attacks
00:45:04.120 against
00:45:04.540 Frances
00:45:05.080 Widdowson
00:45:05.600 at the
00:45:05.940 University
00:45:06.260 of
00:45:06.440 Manitoba
00:45:06.780 were
00:45:07.240 fomented
00:45:07.920 within
00:45:08.760 the
00:45:09.000 faculty
00:45:09.480 her
00:45:10.020 peers
00:45:10.360 in the
00:45:10.660 faculty
00:45:11.000 this is
00:45:12.440 from a
00:45:12.820 leaked
00:45:13.020 email
00:45:13.360 from
00:45:13.660 University
00:45:14.080 of
00:45:14.260 Winnipeg
00:45:14.680 sorry
00:45:14.920 I've
00:45:15.120 been
00:45:15.220 saying
00:45:15.440 University
00:45:15.820 of
00:45:15.980 Manitoba
00:45:16.340 but I
00:45:16.620 guess
00:45:16.760 it's
00:45:16.920 Winnipeg's
00:45:17.480 history
00:45:17.800 department
00:45:18.240 branded
00:45:19.120 Frances
00:45:19.740 Widdowson
00:45:20.240 a denialist
00:45:20.980 and
00:45:21.140 mobilized
00:45:21.840 students
00:45:22.420 against
00:45:22.780 her
00:45:23.020 now
00:45:23.620 she's
00:45:23.880 been
00:45:24.020 physically
00:45:24.380 and
00:45:24.620 verbally
00:45:24.860 assaulted
00:45:25.300 so
00:45:26.700 this
00:45:26.940 is
00:45:27.240 the
00:45:28.100 email
00:45:30.480 developed
00:45:31.000 the
00:45:31.220 following
00:45:31.480 statement
00:45:31.800 to be
00:45:32.060 shared
00:45:32.200 with
00:45:32.360 all
00:45:32.540 current
00:45:32.820 history
00:45:33.180 students
00:45:33.780 so
00:45:35.160 they
00:45:35.340 sent
00:45:35.720 this
00:45:37.280 to
00:45:37.860 the
00:45:38.180 history
00:45:38.540 students
00:45:39.080 to send
00:45:39.740 them
00:45:39.880 after
00:45:40.140 Frances
00:45:40.520 I hope
00:45:41.380 you all
00:45:41.640 take
00:45:41.840 good
00:45:42.080 care
00:45:42.320 of
00:45:42.460 yourselves
00:45:42.740 and
00:45:42.980 please
00:45:43.200 be

00:46:31.860 that's
00:46:32.380 actually
00:46:32.640 the
00:46:32.840 opposite
00:46:33.180 of
00:46:33.360 what

00:46:43.180 or
00:46:43.380 non-engagement
00:46:44.040 specifically
00:46:44.580 well that
00:46:45.300 is
00:46:45.520 actually
00:46:46.080 what
00:46:46.280 you
00:46:46.400 should
00:46:46.560 do
00:46:46.700 if
00:46:46.840 you
00:46:46.920 don't

00:46:48.180 right
00:46:48.880 but
00:46:49.840 that's
00:46:50.160 not
00:46:50.480 what
00:46:50.680 this
00:46:50.940 faculty
00:46:51.380 intended

00:46:54.920 denialism
00:46:55.580 is
00:46:55.880 mythology
00:46:56.680 rooted
00:46:57.060 in
00:46:57.280 hate
00:46:57.520 and

00:46:58.060 and

00:46:58.880 factual
00:46:59.280 basis
00:46:59.940 denial
00:47:01.560 is

00:47:03.540 their
00:47:03.700 arguments
00:47:04.080 ignore
00:47:04.520 the
00:47:04.740 massive
00:47:05.140 body
00:47:05.540 of
00:47:05.680 academic
00:47:06.140 scholarship
00:47:06.700 archival
00:47:07.240 documents
00:47:07.800 you know
00:47:08.600 one group
00:47:09.280 is ignoring
00:47:09.980 archival
00:47:10.500 documents
00:47:11.140 and
00:47:12.260 survival
00:47:12.840 testimonies
00:47:13.640 that clearly
00:47:14.220 disprove
00:47:14.640 their theories
00:47:15.140 more on
00:47:15.760 Indian
00:47:16.120 residential
00:47:16.680 school
00:47:16.940 blah blah
00:47:17.460 blah
00:47:17.700 the
00:47:20.000 history
00:47:20.440 department
00:47:20.840 condemns
00:47:21.960 denialism
00:47:23.040 and
00:47:23.360 platforming
00:47:24.240 of
00:47:25.140 this
00:47:25.660 rhetoric
00:47:26.020 on
00:47:26.280 campus
00:47:26.800 anyways
00:47:28.600 it goes
00:47:29.060 on
00:47:29.400 to say
00:47:30.140 they also
00:47:30.500 acknowledge
00:47:31.060 the harm
00:47:31.940 that this
00:47:32.400 causes
00:47:32.860 the
00:47:33.140 students
00:47:33.540 and you
00:47:34.140 know
00:47:34.380 the
00:47:34.880 way
00:47:35.180 the
00:47:35.500 history
00:47:37.700 department
00:47:38.100 encourages
00:47:38.620 all you
00:47:39.300 Winnipeg
00:47:39.700 students
00:47:39.960 staff
00:47:40.380 and
00:47:40.520 faculty
00:47:40.800 members
00:47:41.160 okay
00:47:41.500 so
00:47:41.720 this
00:47:41.920 is
00:47:42.080 for
00:47:42.320 today
00:47:42.920 but
00:47:44.240 they
00:47:44.700 basically
00:47:45.180 said
00:47:45.480 you've
00:47:45.760 got
00:47:46.020 a
00:47:46.280 deranged
00:47:46.800 denialist
00:47:48.120 coming
00:47:48.440 to the
00:47:48.760 campus
00:47:49.180 what are
00:47:49.900 you people
00:47:50.240 going to
00:47:50.500 do
00:47:50.620 about
00:47:50.860 it
00:47:51.040 right
00:47:51.760 and
00:47:52.600 then
00:47:52.860 activating
00:47:54.000 their
00:47:55.240 students
00:47:55.980 left
00:47:56.860 their
00:47:57.220 vapid
00:47:57.960 left-wing
00:47:58.560 student
00:47:59.020 activists
00:47:59.820 to act
00:48:00.920 against
00:48:01.340 Frances
00:48:01.780 Woodison
00:48:02.100 and that
00:48:02.800 is why
00:48:03.380 she was
00:48:03.880 assaulted
00:48:04.260 and her
00:48:05.260 equipment
00:48:05.580 was ruined
00:48:06.220 and somebody
00:48:06.860 got punched
00:48:07.340 in the
00:48:07.700 face
00:48:08.160 right
00:48:08.800 now
00:48:09.780 I
00:48:10.460 last
00:48:10.920 oh
00:48:11.700 sorry
00:48:12.100 oh
00:48:12.500 I gotta
00:48:13.000 mute
00:48:13.600 that
00:48:13.880 last
00:48:14.500 on our
00:48:14.760 list
00:48:15.080 because
00:48:16.200 I think
00:48:16.920 we've
00:48:17.080 been going
00:48:17.300 like 45
00:48:17.880 minutes
00:48:18.260 and
00:48:18.560 my poor
00:48:19.500 editors
00:48:19.800 have to
00:48:20.180 edit
00:48:20.380 this
00:48:20.660 and
00:48:21.640 it
00:48:22.040 feels
00:48:22.240 like
00:48:22.420 they
00:48:22.540 would
00:48:22.660 just
00:48:22.840 be
00:48:23.020 subject
00:48:23.380 to
00:48:23.860 a
00:48:24.100 phone
00:48:24.260 conversation
00:48:24.820 with
00:48:25.200 us
00:48:25.420 which
00:48:25.620 is
00:48:26.520 sort
00:48:27.000 of
00:48:27.160 what
00:48:27.340 this
00:48:27.520 turned
00:48:27.720 into
00:48:28.000 we've
00:48:29.540 got
00:48:29.700 Tara
00:48:30.040 Armstrong
00:48:30.460 she's
00:48:31.080 the
00:48:31.240 1BC
00:48:31.740 house
00:48:32.740 leader
00:48:33.140 and
00:48:33.480 the
00:48:33.640 MLA
00:48:33.980 for
00:48:34.200 Kelowna
00:48:34.600 Lake
00:48:34.920 Country
00:48:35.320 Cold
00:48:36.220 Stream
00:48:36.660 so
00:48:36.920 British
00:48:37.280 Columbia
00:48:37.740 and we
00:48:39.140 already
00:48:39.600 know
00:48:39.900 what
00:48:40.080 1BC
00:48:40.520 thinks
00:48:40.960 about
00:48:41.440 using
00:48:42.720 the
00:48:42.940 phrase
00:48:43.180 residential
00:48:43.600 school
00:48:44.000 denialism
00:48:44.620 to
00:48:44.820 shut
00:48:45.260 up
00:48:45.580 people
00:48:45.880 who
00:48:46.160 just
00:48:46.660 want
00:48:46.920 to
00:48:47.020 know
00:48:47.140 what
00:48:47.340 happened
00:48:47.620 to
00:48:47.760 a
00:48:47.900 third
00:48:50.660 she
00:48:51.380 I
00:48:51.620 think
00:48:51.860 is
00:48:52.880 doing
00:48:53.240 the
00:48:54.580 right
00:48:54.840 thing
00:48:55.080 here
00:48:55.360 by
00:48:55.780 wondering
00:48:56.860 why
00:48:57.420 Manitoba
00:48:58.680 is not
00:48:59.260 doing
00:48:59.720 what
00:49:00.900 Alberta
00:49:01.540 is doing
00:49:01.980 and that
00:49:02.360 is ensuring
00:49:02.940 academic
00:49:03.500 freedom
00:49:03.820 on campus
00:49:04.480 so let's
00:49:05.480 listen to
00:49:05.880 this
00:49:06.100 Tara
00:49:06.360 Armstrong
00:49:06.700 I am
00:49:08.320 calling on
00:49:08.880 Manitoba
00:49:09.460 Premier
00:49:10.040 Wab
00:49:10.560 Canu
00:49:10.940 and the
00:49:11.620 government
00:49:11.980 of Manitoba
00:49:12.860 to issue
00:49:13.620 an official
00:49:14.300 apology
00:49:14.900 to Professor
00:49:16.120 Frances
00:49:16.840 Widowson
00:49:17.420 for the
00:49:17.820 abuse
00:49:18.240 she suffered
00:49:19.020 at the
00:49:19.480 University
00:49:20.660 from
00:49:21.160 students
00:49:21.680 and
00:49:22.060 activists
00:49:22.740 this
00:49:24.280 is
00:49:24.480 treaty
00:49:24.780 one
00:49:25.160 territory
00:49:25.820 this
00:49:26.440 land
00:49:26.920 belongs
00:49:27.440 to
00:49:27.640 our
00:49:27.840 first
00:49:28.140 nation
00:49:28.480 people
00:49:28.920 not
00:49:29.640 you
00:49:29.860 white
00:49:30.100 people
00:49:30.560 you
00:49:31.560 are
00:49:31.840 a
00:49:32.080 visitor
00:49:33.980 on
00:49:34.480 our
00:49:34.880 land
00:49:35.680 where
00:49:39.560 are you
00:49:44.600 having
00:49:44.860 an
00:49:45.020 event
00:49:45.260 Frances
00:49:45.940 is a
00:49:46.380 courageous
00:49:46.800 speaker
00:49:47.260 who
00:49:47.560 wanted
00:49:47.860 to
00:49:48.060 hold
00:49:48.320 an
00:49:48.480 event
00:49:48.740 to
00:49:48.920 have
00:49:49.120 discussions
00:49:49.600 with
00:49:49.920 people
00:49:50.220 who
00:49:50.380 both
00:49:50.620 agreed
00:49:51.080 and
00:49:51.680 disagreed
00:49:52.160 with
00:49:52.320 her
00:49:52.500 I
00:49:53.140 am
00:49:53.280 speaking
00:49:53.600 out
00:49:53.820 on
00:49:53.920 this
00:49:54.080 issue
00:49:54.380 even
00:49:54.760 though
00:49:55.000 I
00:49:55.220 am
00:49:55.340 an
00:49:55.480 MLA
00:49:55.880 from
00:49:56.160 British
00:49:56.440 Columbia
00:49:56.860 because
00:49:57.600 I
00:49:57.900 fear
00:49:58.260 nobody
00:49:58.840 in
00:49:59.160 elected
00:49:59.460 office
00:49:59.920 in
00:50:00.220 Manitoba
00:50:00.840 provincially
00:50:01.560 or
00:50:01.920 federally
00:50:02.420 will
00:50:02.880 speak
00:50:03.180 out
00:50:03.480 universities
00:50:04.240 are
00:50:04.600 supposed
00:50:04.880 to be
00:50:05.300 places
00:50:05.720 of
00:50:05.940 open
00:50:06.420 discourse
00:50:07.060 and
00:50:07.720 respect
00:50:08.160 for
00:50:08.460 other
00:50:08.760 points
00:50:09.120 of
00:50:09.280 view
00:50:09.500 governments
00:50:10.280 all
00:50:10.700 over
00:50:11.060 Canada
00:50:11.480 need
00:50:12.060 to
00:50:12.320 enforce
00:50:12.880 the
00:50:13.160 law
00:50:13.500 on
00:50:13.840 these
00:50:14.060 campuses
00:50:14.600 and
00:50:15.160 prevent
00:50:15.660 assault
00:50:16.220 and
00:50:16.620 criminal
00:50:17.060 harassment
00:50:17.600 from
00:50:17.940 taking
00:50:18.280 place
00:50:18.800 against
00:50:19.260 speakers
00:50:19.780 that
00:50:20.220 activists
00:50:20.840 simply
00:50:21.580 disagree
00:50:22.120 with
00:50:22.500 exactly
00:50:24.080 I don't
00:50:24.460 even know
00:50:24.800 why that
00:50:25.160 it has
00:50:25.560 to be
00:50:25.880 said
00:50:26.260 but it
00:50:26.840 should
00:50:27.120 have been
00:50:27.400 said
00:50:27.620 by
00:50:27.820 Wob
00:50:28.120 Canu
00:50:28.440 yeah
00:50:29.300 it should
00:50:29.740 have
00:50:29.920 but
00:50:30.420 Wob
00:50:30.700 Canu
00:50:31.080 I mean
00:50:31.560 he has
00:50:32.160 what's
00:50:32.580 her name
00:50:32.860 Fontaine
00:50:34.540 he's
00:50:35.700 got a
00:50:36.060 whole
00:50:36.340 litany
00:50:37.000 of crazy
00:50:37.760 left-wing
00:50:38.260 activists
00:50:38.920 in his
00:50:39.980 crazy
00:50:40.420 left-wing
00:50:41.000 activist
00:50:41.620 party
00:50:42.080 the
00:50:42.300 NDP
00:50:42.760 they are
00:50:43.340 absolutely
00:50:43.900 stuffed
00:50:44.340 with
00:50:44.580 left-wing
00:50:44.980 activists
00:50:45.500 and
00:50:46.460 of course
00:50:46.840 he's
00:50:47.020 not
00:50:47.200 going
00:50:47.340 to
00:50:47.440 say
00:50:47.600 anything
00:50:48.000 in
00:50:48.520 defense
00:50:48.820 of
00:50:48.960 Frances
00:50:49.260 Whitteson
00:50:49.720 because
00:50:50.380 Wob
00:50:51.000 Canu
00:50:51.260 what
00:50:51.660 those
00:50:52.040 petulant
00:50:55.000 spoiled
00:50:56.360 children
00:50:57.060 were doing
00:50:57.960 when they
00:50:58.360 were screaming
00:50:59.020 in the
00:50:59.460 face
00:50:59.780 of their
00:51:00.180 elder
00:51:00.520 Frances
00:51:01.040 Whitteson
00:51:01.620 was actually
00:51:03.160 lying to
00:51:03.760 them
00:51:03.980 it is
00:51:04.680 not
00:51:05.200 indigenous
00:51:05.740 land
00:51:06.240 treaties
00:51:07.260 were an
00:51:08.660 agreement
00:51:08.960 between
00:51:09.300 the
00:51:09.480 indigenous
00:51:09.880 people
00:51:10.320 to
00:51:10.600 permanently
00:51:11.440 cede
00:51:12.320 their
00:51:12.640 claim
00:51:13.200 of the
00:51:13.720 land
00:51:14.220 to the
00:51:15.540 government
00:51:15.800 of Canada
00:51:16.340 okay
00:51:16.600 they were
00:51:16.900 paid
00:51:17.180 for the
00:51:17.580 land
00:51:17.880 some
00:51:18.800 would
00:51:19.020 say
00:51:19.280 they
00:51:19.560 have
00:51:19.720 been
00:51:19.900 paid
00:51:20.220 far
00:51:20.680 too
00:51:20.940 long
00:51:21.360 and
00:51:22.000 far
00:51:22.360 too
00:51:22.620 much
00:51:22.920 for
00:51:23.180 the
00:51:23.380 land
00:51:23.760 all
00:51:24.160 things
00:51:24.580 considered
00:51:25.260 but
00:51:26.000 but of
00:51:26.480 course
00:51:26.660 Wild
00:51:26.900 Canu
00:51:27.120 is not
00:51:27.460 going to
00:51:27.700 respond
00:51:28.040 he loves
00:51:28.740 this
00:51:29.120 this is
00:51:29.860 what he
00:51:30.280 wants
00:51:30.600 for
00:51:30.800 Manitoba
00:51:31.420 this is
00:51:32.560 what his
00:51:33.040 caucus
00:51:33.420 members
00:51:34.060 think
00:51:34.660 about
00:51:35.620 what should
00:51:36.180 happen to
00:51:36.700 people like
00:51:37.220 Frances
00:51:37.580 Whitteson
00:51:38.080 I mean
00:51:38.480 also
00:51:39.460 I don't
00:51:40.460 know
00:51:40.660 Frances
00:51:41.060 Whitteson's
00:51:42.120 heritage
00:51:44.240 heritage
00:51:44.480 I don't
00:51:45.280 know
00:51:45.680 I don't
00:51:46.160 think
00:51:46.340 anybody
00:51:46.700 knows
00:51:47.360 what
00:51:48.160 Frances
00:51:49.060 Whitteson's
00:51:49.680 ethnic
00:51:50.140 background
00:51:50.680 is
00:51:51.020 like
00:51:51.200 if I
00:51:51.460 had to
00:51:51.700 look
00:51:51.900 at her
00:51:52.120 I'd
00:51:52.280 be like
00:51:52.480 yeah
00:51:52.600 that's
00:51:52.780 a
00:51:52.920 middle-aged
00:51:55.420 Métis
00:51:55.780 lady
00:51:56.080 right
00:51:56.780 absolutely
00:51:58.100 could be
00:51:58.880 you know
00:51:59.080 what I
00:51:59.300 mean
00:51:59.480 nobody
00:51:59.900 knows
00:52:00.500 and I'm
00:52:01.160 glad
00:52:01.480 that I
00:52:01.820 don't
00:52:02.040 know
00:52:02.300 because
00:52:02.620 I don't
00:52:02.880 think
00:52:03.060 Frances
00:52:03.400 Whitteson's
00:52:04.120 human
00:52:04.520 rights
00:52:04.780 or her
00:52:05.100 ability
00:52:05.600 to discuss
00:52:06.200 things
00:52:06.460 on campus
00:52:07.020 should hinge
00:52:07.860 on what
00:52:08.360 her ethnic
00:52:09.080 background
00:52:09.580 is
00:52:09.860 but these
00:52:10.480 people sure
00:52:10.980 think so
00:52:11.460 and yet
00:52:12.380 you saw
00:52:12.880 it right
00:52:13.280 there
00:52:13.620 if you
00:52:14.340 are white
00:52:15.200 and if you
00:52:15.880 have an
00:52:16.380 opinion
00:52:16.800 then you
00:52:18.020 must be
00:52:18.500 eradicated
00:52:19.260 and this
00:52:20.080 has devastating
00:52:21.160 consequences
00:52:21.900 we've seen
00:52:22.620 it with the
00:52:23.400 recent assassination
00:52:24.160 of Charlie
00:52:24.720 Kirk
00:52:25.040 we've seen
00:52:26.000 it in
00:52:26.380 many
00:52:26.720 hostile
00:52:28.640 and aggressive
00:52:30.160 acts
00:52:30.820 towards
00:52:31.420 Christians
00:52:31.820 and conservatives
00:52:32.540 and as
00:52:33.380 long as
00:52:34.100 this is
00:52:34.860 being allowed
00:52:35.620 to happen
00:52:36.460 on post-secondary
00:52:38.140 campuses
00:52:38.580 across the
00:52:39.100 nation of
00:52:39.480 Canada
00:52:39.840 nothing will
00:52:41.360 change
00:52:41.880 violence
00:52:42.720 against us
00:52:43.500 will keep
00:52:44.340 accelerating
00:52:45.120 hate crimes
00:52:46.420 against us
00:52:46.920 will keep
00:52:47.280 accelerating
00:52:47.780 and there
00:52:48.280 will be
00:52:48.540 more Charlie
00:52:49.140 Kirks
00:52:49.540 but here's
00:52:50.680 the thing
00:52:51.020 women like
00:52:52.700 Frances
00:52:53.100 Whitteson
00:52:53.520 they are
00:52:53.900 formidable
00:52:54.340 okay
00:52:55.020 and I got
00:52:55.780 all my
00:52:56.180 money on
00:52:56.660 Frances
00:52:57.080 Whitteson
00:52:57.640 me too
00:52:58.240 that's the
00:52:59.380 only way
00:52:59.800 through this
00:53:00.360 yep
00:53:02.160 and that's
00:53:03.100 the thing
00:53:03.400 you don't
00:53:03.760 have to
00:53:04.040 even agree
00:53:04.540 with
00:53:04.760 Frances
00:53:05.100 Whitteson
00:53:05.520 just let
00:53:06.260 her talk
00:53:06.800 let her
00:53:08.080 talk
00:53:08.600 you know
00:53:09.220 when people
00:53:09.580 tell you
00:53:10.480 to shut
00:53:10.900 up
00:53:11.280 that's
00:53:13.080 how you
00:53:13.280 get more
00:53:13.660 of me
00:53:14.020 there's
00:53:16.180 nothing better
00:53:16.740 than when
00:53:17.100 your enemies
00:53:17.720 tell you
00:53:18.640 to sit
00:53:19.040 down and
00:53:19.560 be quiet
00:53:20.400 okay
00:53:21.320 I'm not
00:53:21.840 gonna
00:53:21.940 where's
00:53:22.200 my soapbox
00:53:22.860 where is
00:53:23.680 my soapbox
00:53:24.360 and my
00:53:24.680 microphone
00:53:25.220 my megaphone
00:53:26.240 just my
00:53:27.120 response
00:53:27.420 up my
00:53:27.720 little
00:53:27.920 spiked
00:53:28.400 tank
00:53:28.780 to keep
00:53:29.180 fighting
00:53:29.680 another
00:53:30.040 day
00:53:30.540 okay
00:53:33.900 lise
00:53:34.220 I gotta
00:53:34.860 let you
00:53:35.120 go
00:53:35.300 I gotta
00:53:35.800 finish up
00:53:36.120 my work
00:53:36.400 day
00:53:36.580 thank you
00:53:36.980 so much
00:53:37.360 for
00:53:37.760 we're
00:53:38.680 filming
00:53:38.980 this
00:53:39.360 if you're
00:53:39.820 watching
00:53:40.060 this
00:53:40.300 we just
00:53:40.940 did the
00:53:41.320 live stream
00:53:41.780 and then we
00:53:42.240 filmed another
00:53:42.760 hour and a half
00:53:43.400 of this
00:53:43.800 so thank you
00:53:44.980 for occupying
00:53:46.160 like a quarter
00:53:47.580 of your work
00:53:48.240 day with me
00:53:48.780 lise I appreciate
00:53:49.440 you so much
00:53:50.080 well I
00:53:51.340 would I mean
00:53:52.080 it's just my
00:53:52.600 pleasure
00:53:52.880 Sheila
00:53:53.200 all right
00:54:03.000 friends as you
00:54:03.520 know the
00:54:03.860 last portion
00:54:04.360 of the show
00:54:04.780 belongs to
00:54:05.820 you that's
00:54:07.500 why I give
00:54:07.800 you my
00:54:08.040 email address
00:54:08.620 right now
00:54:09.020 at Sheila
00:54:09.380 at rebel
00:54:09.960 news.com
00:54:11.620 with you
00:54:13.280 reach out to
00:54:13.720 me put gun
00:54:14.300 show letters
00:54:14.920 in the subject
00:54:15.440 line so I
00:54:15.880 know exactly
00:54:16.460 why you're
00:54:17.440 emailing me
00:54:18.020 and don't
00:54:18.340 just email
00:54:18.820 me good
00:54:19.180 stuff if
00:54:19.680 you got
00:54:19.940 criticism
00:54:20.580 send it
00:54:21.420 right to
00:54:21.920 me I'd
00:54:22.700 love to
00:54:23.080 address it
00:54:23.640 on air
00:54:24.200 criticism
00:54:25.900 concerns
00:54:26.720 story ideas
00:54:28.100 anecdotes I
00:54:29.020 want to hear
00:54:29.360 it all so
00:54:30.520 today's email
00:54:32.600 actually went
00:54:33.400 to the
00:54:34.560 info line
00:54:36.200 at rebel
00:54:36.660 news somebody
00:54:37.100 was trying
00:54:37.720 to tell on
00:54:38.260 me but I
00:54:40.280 also get
00:54:40.620 those emails
00:54:41.040 too so
00:54:42.880 here I am
00:54:44.340 and it's
00:54:44.640 criticism of
00:54:45.340 me and I
00:54:46.480 will take
00:54:46.940 it and I
00:54:48.000 will address
00:54:48.540 it because
00:54:50.680 somebody
00:54:51.600 I don't
00:54:53.100 think
00:54:53.300 listened to
00:54:54.200 everything
00:54:54.600 that I
00:54:55.000 said but
00:54:55.440 I would
00:54:55.740 love to
00:54:56.320 readdress
00:54:57.320 it and
00:54:58.540 respond and
00:55:00.940 refer you
00:55:02.160 back to
00:55:03.360 what you
00:55:03.660 were watching
00:55:04.160 so you
00:55:05.040 could see
00:55:05.600 why I
00:55:06.260 said the
00:55:06.660 things that
00:55:07.180 I said
00:55:07.720 so as
00:55:11.140 you know
00:55:11.480 I am
00:55:12.880 recently back
00:55:13.620 home from
00:55:14.060 Universal
00:55:14.460 Ostrich Farm
00:55:15.360 I drove
00:55:16.840 over 12
00:55:17.420 hours one
00:55:17.940 way with
00:55:19.300 little notice
00:55:20.300 to spend
00:55:21.400 a few days
00:55:22.280 helping Drea
00:55:23.020 Humphrey on
00:55:23.680 the ground
00:55:23.960 there who's
00:55:24.340 been doing
00:55:24.620 an excellent
00:55:25.060 job and
00:55:26.340 there is no
00:55:27.300 hotel there
00:55:27.860 I hooked to
00:55:29.300 my personal
00:55:30.420 trailer project
00:55:31.540 in an effort
00:55:32.620 to save
00:55:33.080 money and
00:55:34.420 save time
00:55:35.340 it's basically
00:55:36.880 a bed on
00:55:37.280 wheels with a
00:55:37.780 solar panel
00:55:38.220 and a battery
00:55:38.720 and a place
00:55:40.180 where we can
00:55:40.560 charge things
00:55:41.220 and I hooked
00:55:42.660 to that I
00:55:43.140 drove over 12
00:55:44.040 hours one
00:55:44.460 way slept
00:55:45.880 there helped
00:55:46.800 Drea as much
00:55:47.320 as I could
00:55:47.660 and we were
00:55:47.980 going like
00:55:48.580 sometimes from
00:55:49.640 the wee hours
00:55:50.220 of the morning
00:55:50.720 to late at
00:55:52.020 night every
00:55:53.140 single day far
00:55:54.060 away from our
00:55:54.540 families and I
00:55:56.140 was just there
00:55:56.620 in support
00:55:57.680 capacity for
00:55:58.800 Drea but
00:55:59.660 regular viewers
00:56:00.340 of the show
00:56:00.760 might know
00:56:01.180 that I don't
00:56:01.880 actually like
00:56:02.520 birds that's
00:56:05.160 okay but
00:56:07.020 anyways I'll
00:56:07.520 get into
00:56:08.020 this letter
00:56:10.920 to me because
00:56:11.460 it's a
00:56:11.740 criticism of
00:56:12.360 me and I'd
00:56:12.980 like to
00:56:13.320 address it
00:56:13.920 so that
00:56:17.160 you know
00:56:17.580 that I
00:56:17.900 just don't
00:56:19.060 read the
00:56:20.120 love emails
00:56:20.720 I also
00:56:21.040 read the
00:56:21.600 criticism
00:56:23.160 ones too
00:56:23.900 and I
00:56:24.400 don't say
00:56:24.700 anything that
00:56:25.160 I can't
00:56:25.540 back up
00:56:26.740 like everybody
00:56:27.560 has got their
00:56:28.040 opinions
00:56:28.360 everybody's got
00:56:28.940 their unique
00:56:29.400 viewpoints
00:56:30.140 which is why
00:56:31.760 I believe in
00:56:32.240 the free and
00:56:32.640 liberal exchange
00:56:33.300 of ideas
00:56:33.680 and I actually
00:56:34.360 don't think
00:56:34.900 that everybody
00:56:35.340 needs to think
00:56:36.060 the same as
00:56:36.660 everybody else
00:56:37.180 and I don't
00:56:37.440 think we all
00:56:37.820 have to have
00:56:38.240 the same
00:56:38.660 likes to
00:56:40.100 believe in
00:56:40.660 the same
00:56:40.980 fundamental
00:56:41.480 principles
00:56:42.320 of truth
00:56:43.980 and justice
00:56:44.520 and property
00:56:45.840 rights but I'll
00:56:46.440 get to that
00:56:46.820 in a second
00:56:47.240 so this
00:56:48.220 comes to me
00:56:48.800 by way of
00:56:49.280 Sandra
00:56:49.580 who attempts
00:56:52.480 to tell on
00:56:53.020 me but that's
00:56:53.460 okay
00:56:53.660 I'm writing
00:56:55.480 to you with
00:56:56.100 a grave
00:56:56.700 concern
00:56:57.300 oh my goodness
00:56:58.240 I wonder what
00:56:58.720 this is about
00:56:59.260 Sheila Gunn-Reed
00:57:00.220 showed up at
00:57:00.740 the Universal
00:57:01.220 Ostrich Farm
00:57:01.960 this morning
00:57:02.460 actually I
00:57:03.160 didn't show up
00:57:03.560 there this
00:57:03.860 morning I
00:57:04.200 got there
00:57:04.560 late the
00:57:05.260 night before
00:57:05.860 after driving
00:57:06.900 an entire
00:57:07.320 day there
00:57:07.800 and making
00:57:09.700 sure that I
00:57:10.160 cost the
00:57:10.740 company very
00:57:11.340 little money
00:57:11.880 by bringing
00:57:12.360 my own
00:57:12.720 accommodations
00:57:13.200 with me
00:57:13.620 because the
00:57:14.320 nearest hotel
00:57:15.380 is hours
00:57:16.660 away
00:57:16.900 first thing
00:57:18.580 she said
00:57:18.980 is she
00:57:19.660 doesn't like
00:57:20.300 ostriches
00:57:20.940 that was
00:57:21.600 totally
00:57:21.920 unnecessary
00:57:22.500 would you
00:57:24.440 prefer that
00:57:24.920 I lie
00:57:25.320 the reason
00:57:26.840 I said
00:57:27.260 that is
00:57:28.020 because I
00:57:29.700 don't have
00:57:30.160 to like
00:57:31.680 all the same
00:57:32.200 things as
00:57:32.680 you to
00:57:33.740 agree with
00:57:34.560 the fundamental
00:57:35.160 principle of
00:57:37.280 agricultural
00:57:38.080 integrity
00:57:38.820 and property
00:57:40.860 rights
00:57:41.380 and due
00:57:42.780 process
00:57:43.260 I don't
00:57:44.160 think the
00:57:44.540 ostrich
00:57:44.860 farmer is
00:57:45.220 getting due
00:57:45.640 process
00:57:46.320 you know
00:57:47.000 like you're
00:57:47.360 executing
00:57:48.040 birds that
00:57:48.800 for being
00:57:51.680 sickly when
00:57:52.500 you haven't
00:57:53.040 even determined
00:57:53.580 that they're
00:57:54.080 sickly
00:57:54.480 I think
00:57:55.340 that's crazy
00:57:55.920 I don't
00:57:56.720 like any
00:57:57.080 birds
00:57:57.400 I don't
00:57:59.520 like chickens
00:58:00.020 and I say
00:58:00.740 all the time
00:58:01.180 that I think
00:58:01.560 chickens are
00:58:02.040 magical because
00:58:02.660 you can give
00:58:03.240 them garbage
00:58:04.040 and they give
00:58:04.820 you nutritious
00:58:05.380 food
00:58:05.800 I think one
00:58:06.840 of the greatest
00:58:07.440 things that we
00:58:08.020 could do for
00:58:08.440 the developing
00:58:08.900 world is give
00:58:09.500 these people
00:58:09.940 chickens because
00:58:11.500 two eggs a
00:58:13.240 week is the
00:58:14.600 difference between
00:58:15.240 a severe
00:58:16.100 malnutrition
00:58:19.000 catastrophe for
00:58:20.740 a child in the
00:58:21.520 developing world
00:58:22.160 and not
00:58:22.940 does incredible
00:58:24.920 things for the
00:58:25.540 developing brain
00:58:26.380 so like
00:58:28.780 why do I
00:58:30.500 have to like
00:58:31.820 these specific
00:58:32.820 creatures to
00:58:34.420 believe that they
00:58:35.320 are entitled
00:58:36.200 to due
00:58:37.960 process and
00:58:39.020 I lead
00:58:42.920 with my
00:58:43.260 chin I
00:58:44.220 want you to
00:58:44.580 know why
00:58:44.960 I'm there
00:58:45.440 I'm not
00:58:47.740 going to lie
00:58:48.220 to you and
00:58:50.080 it's a running
00:58:50.800 joke at the
00:58:51.340 company that
00:58:52.900 that I
00:58:55.860 don't like
00:58:56.420 birds and
00:58:57.660 regular viewers
00:58:58.520 of the show
00:58:59.020 will know that
00:58:59.480 I don't like
00:59:00.020 birds but I
00:59:01.360 don't have to
00:59:01.980 like birds
00:59:02.760 to hate
00:59:05.800 absolutely
00:59:06.400 loathe what
00:59:07.280 is going on
00:59:07.820 at Universal
00:59:08.280 Ostrich Farms
00:59:08.900 enough to
00:59:09.580 make the
00:59:09.960 journey there
00:59:10.640 to help
00:59:11.620 Drea and
00:59:12.460 work around
00:59:12.940 the clock
00:59:13.440 and the
00:59:17.800 only reason I
00:59:18.420 mention is
00:59:18.980 because Drea
00:59:19.420 asked me about
00:59:20.240 it do you
00:59:21.100 want me to
00:59:21.480 lie you
00:59:22.740 mentioned it
00:59:23.540 on a live
00:59:24.600 stream with
00:59:25.060 Drea Drea's
00:59:25.820 like what do
00:59:27.040 you think about
00:59:27.400 the birds now
00:59:28.020 Sheila I was
00:59:29.060 like you know I
00:59:29.700 didn't like
00:59:30.320 ostriches but
00:59:31.080 they're kind
00:59:31.460 of growing
00:59:31.800 on me like
00:59:32.280 you can see
00:59:32.980 my sort of
00:59:33.920 self-deprecating
00:59:34.840 comment about
00:59:35.580 it I guess I
00:59:38.600 should lie then
00:59:40.260 she said she
00:59:40.760 sympathized with
00:59:41.400 the RCMP saying
00:59:42.340 they felt bad
00:59:43.100 they do you
00:59:43.960 can tell if
00:59:45.580 you want me to
00:59:45.960 hate the cops
00:59:46.400 I'm not gonna
00:59:46.820 I've seen a lot
00:59:48.260 of bad cops
00:59:49.140 those are not
00:59:50.100 them and if
00:59:53.480 you watched
00:59:54.020 further in that
00:59:54.880 live stream or
00:59:55.580 in my live stream
00:59:56.460 that day I
00:59:57.220 explained why
00:59:59.720 I treat
01:00:03.660 the cops as
01:00:04.280 human beings
01:00:04.900 and it's
01:00:05.800 because a
01:00:07.140 police officer
01:00:07.800 who was
01:00:09.000 berated during
01:00:10.100 COVID for
01:00:11.180 weeks and
01:00:11.840 months ultimately
01:00:13.560 even though he
01:00:14.520 transferred ended
01:00:15.240 up taking his
01:00:15.820 life and so
01:00:16.680 I'm grounded in
01:00:17.980 the humanity
01:00:18.740 of what I
01:00:20.880 saw unfolding
01:00:21.760 there and
01:00:23.020 going forward
01:00:23.580 and that
01:00:23.960 changed me
01:00:24.780 and so I
01:00:29.020 don't see
01:00:30.580 them all as
01:00:30.980 evil I see
01:00:31.560 them all as
01:00:31.940 individual people
01:00:32.680 I'm not
01:00:33.220 painting them
01:00:33.740 with a broad
01:00:34.280 stroke and
01:00:34.720 let me tell
01:00:35.540 you I've seen
01:00:35.940 some bad
01:00:36.520 cops this
01:00:37.120 week and
01:00:37.420 I've seen
01:00:37.700 some excellent
01:00:38.580 ones for
01:00:41.940 example the
01:00:42.460 one that my
01:00:43.460 friend Tamer
01:00:43.900 Ugolini
01:00:44.520 encountered in
01:00:45.720 Picton Ontario
01:00:46.400 excellent the
01:00:48.040 SPVM officers
01:00:49.140 that Alexa
01:00:51.440 LaVoie
01:00:51.760 encountered same
01:00:52.900 day terrible
01:00:54.140 so sorry I'm
01:00:56.280 not painting
01:00:56.760 everybody with a
01:00:57.400 broad brush I'm
01:00:57.920 just not if you
01:00:58.860 don't like that
01:00:59.580 I'm sorry but I
01:01:00.780 believe that people
01:01:01.480 are individuals
01:01:02.180 and they're more
01:01:05.120 than the sum of
01:01:05.700 the career that
01:01:06.240 they do yeah
01:01:07.320 sure I'm a
01:01:07.840 journalist but I'm
01:01:08.620 also unlike many
01:01:10.480 of my critics a
01:01:11.980 farmer a mom
01:01:13.640 Catholic not
01:01:17.560 great at it but
01:01:18.240 I'm doing my
01:01:18.680 best I'm a lot
01:01:20.300 of things and
01:01:22.560 so I'm just not
01:01:23.280 the sum of the
01:01:23.820 things you see
01:01:24.380 on TV and the
01:01:25.220 short snippets
01:01:25.840 that you see
01:01:26.320 me and I
01:01:27.020 try to treat
01:01:27.540 other people
01:01:28.000 the very same
01:01:28.780 way I guess
01:01:31.180 they're just
01:01:31.520 doing their
01:01:31.920 job does
01:01:35.560 that sound
01:01:35.960 familiar to
01:01:36.580 you there are
01:01:37.920 CMP officers
01:01:38.740 doing their best
01:01:39.780 to keep the
01:01:40.200 peace at an
01:01:40.840 ostrich farm
01:01:41.340 they're not
01:01:41.800 don't equate
01:01:42.360 them to
01:01:42.660 Nazis just
01:01:43.680 it's not
01:01:46.160 great don't
01:01:46.800 do that other
01:01:48.460 people in
01:01:48.860 companies have
01:01:49.400 stood up and
01:01:49.960 said that they
01:01:50.360 will not be part
01:01:50.980 of this horrific
01:01:51.520 slaughter yeah
01:01:52.280 those are
01:01:52.580 companies that
01:01:53.360 are able to
01:01:54.100 take a contract
01:01:54.800 or not take a
01:01:55.520 contract that's a
01:01:57.440 little different
01:01:58.140 than what these
01:02:00.320 RCMP officers are
01:02:01.520 called to do
01:02:02.240 there's some
01:02:02.960 nuance to this
01:02:04.100 the RCMP should
01:02:06.860 do the same
01:02:07.400 say no
01:02:08.500 Sheila I have
01:02:09.280 no sympathy for
01:02:09.940 them Sandra
01:02:10.860 Glenboro Manitoba
01:02:12.680 well I think I
01:02:17.080 addressed your
01:02:17.580 concerns um if
01:02:19.120 you want to see
01:02:19.600 what I said that
01:02:20.400 day you can go
01:02:21.120 watch the live
01:02:21.900 stream you can
01:02:22.520 hear why I said
01:02:23.680 the things that I
01:02:24.300 said but unlock
01:02:27.000 unlike a lot of
01:02:28.000 my critics who
01:02:29.380 are angry at me
01:02:30.440 for not
01:02:31.180 sufficiently being
01:02:32.560 affectionate to
01:02:33.180 ostriches I'm
01:02:33.840 actually a farmer
01:02:34.680 and so I do have
01:02:36.940 a little bit of a
01:02:37.580 different viewpoint
01:02:38.280 about livestock but
01:02:39.660 I also understand
01:02:40.400 that people love
01:02:41.460 their animals too
01:02:43.060 um so I get
01:02:45.120 that but we
01:02:46.520 don't all have
01:02:47.880 to have the
01:02:48.580 same
01:02:49.280 worldview
01:02:53.020 to care about
01:02:56.320 principles like
01:02:57.580 why would you
01:02:58.140 shrink the
01:02:58.800 movement why
01:02:59.900 would you shrink
01:03:00.640 the support
01:03:01.860 for your thing
01:03:03.900 to just the
01:03:05.260 people who
01:03:05.960 are exactly the
01:03:08.160 same as you
01:03:08.660 don't you want
01:03:09.580 people to care
01:03:10.160 about fundamental
01:03:10.780 principles more
01:03:11.740 than just this
01:03:14.680 creature right I
01:03:18.800 mean I'm against
01:03:20.860 the canola tariffs
01:03:21.760 I also don't eat
01:03:22.640 seed oils I know
01:03:26.020 there are a lot of
01:03:26.420 people who watch
01:03:27.060 rebel news and who
01:03:28.220 watch my shows who
01:03:29.640 are not firearms
01:03:32.100 owners but believe
01:03:34.200 in the rights of
01:03:34.780 firearms owners and
01:03:37.260 believe in property
01:03:37.920 rights and believe
01:03:39.280 that they should not
01:03:40.240 be scapegoated for
01:03:41.120 the failings of
01:03:41.760 progressive cities
01:03:42.660 people can stand
01:03:44.880 on principles without
01:03:45.900 feeling or thinking
01:03:47.380 the exact same
01:03:48.160 thing and I'm
01:03:48.700 sorry during
01:03:50.600 COVID and
01:03:51.780 post-COVID during
01:03:52.880 the Hamas protests
01:03:53.680 I have seen a lot
01:03:55.860 of crappy policing
01:03:56.960 and when I see good
01:03:58.820 policing sorry I'm
01:04:01.380 I'll tell you I'll
01:04:03.980 give you my honest
01:04:04.580 opinion what I saw
01:04:06.100 at the ostrich farm
01:04:06.960 those guys were
01:04:08.380 doing a good job
01:04:08.940 you might not like
01:04:11.220 the job that they
01:04:13.160 are being called to
01:04:14.460 do but all things
01:04:15.600 considered they did
01:04:18.780 pretty good they
01:04:19.740 didn't stop you from
01:04:20.480 going to the farm and
01:04:21.760 if you heard that
01:04:22.380 people were being
01:04:22.980 stopped from going to
01:04:23.800 the farm that's just
01:04:24.740 not true we came and
01:04:25.960 go as we went as we
01:04:27.100 wanted multiple times
01:04:28.700 a day they were
01:04:30.420 fine they didn't
01:04:31.460 search my vehicle
01:04:32.220 they didn't even shine
01:04:32.980 a light into my
01:04:33.620 vehicle as I came in
01:04:34.480 late they were just
01:04:35.100 like oh you're going
01:04:35.620 to the farm like
01:04:36.140 yeah I got to meet
01:04:37.080 up with my colleague
01:04:37.780 there they're like
01:04:38.260 okay see ya they
01:04:40.800 were fine they took
01:04:42.180 a lot of screaming
01:04:43.060 and never even
01:04:45.020 reacted once so I
01:04:46.420 mean I do I
01:04:50.300 empathize with people
01:04:51.600 who have to do a
01:04:53.060 job that they don't
01:04:53.600 want to do and I
01:04:55.100 mean I don't begrudge
01:04:56.520 people from not
01:04:59.880 destroying their
01:05:00.780 career because they
01:05:01.440 have a family to
01:05:02.100 feed you don't know
01:05:02.860 their individual
01:05:03.400 situations much
01:05:05.140 like I don't know
01:05:05.740 yours and as I
01:05:07.320 said I will not be
01:05:09.740 judging people like
01:05:12.480 that on the two
01:05:15.820 minutes of what I
01:05:18.160 see of them that's
01:05:19.900 it and if you want
01:05:21.580 to send me any more
01:05:22.400 criticisms you can
01:05:24.240 or tell on me you
01:05:26.980 can send it to
01:05:27.900 Sheila at
01:05:28.380 rebelnews.com you can
01:05:30.660 send it the info line
01:05:31.860 I'll get those too I
01:05:33.520 mean they they go
01:05:34.380 through somebody else
01:05:35.040 before they get to
01:05:35.660 me but I will
01:05:36.340 eventually see them
01:05:37.260 so yeah if you have
01:05:39.100 want to tattle on me
01:05:40.020 that's okay too I
01:05:40.980 mean but like I
01:05:44.040 said it in a live
01:05:44.780 stream that we
01:05:45.640 emailed out to
01:05:46.380 everybody you're not
01:05:50.340 catching me in some
01:05:51.420 sort of secret thing
01:05:53.360 that I didn't think
01:05:54.380 anybody would see
01:05:55.180 okay there's like
01:05:57.300 200,000 plus people
01:05:59.160 on my ex account
01:06:01.120 plus all of you at
01:06:02.020 home it wasn't a
01:06:04.220 secret that I said
01:06:05.640 that it's just people
01:06:06.520 who want me to
01:06:07.920 believe the same
01:06:09.160 thing as them on
01:06:10.700 every single cause
01:06:11.460 and I just don't I
01:06:12.760 stand on principles
01:06:13.560 well everybody that's
01:06:15.620 the show for today
01:06:16.140 thank you so much for
01:06:16.840 tuning in I'll see
01:06:17.560 everybody back here in
01:06:18.400 the same time in the
01:06:19.160 same place next week
01:06:19.880 but maybe not I
01:06:20.600 might be back at the
01:06:21.440 ostrich farm next
01:06:22.980 week but remember
01:06:24.460 don't let the
01:06:25.540 government or the
01:06:26.580 busy bodies in your
01:06:27.840 email tell you that
01:06:29.240 you've had too much
01:06:29.920 to think
