Rebel News Podcast - SPECIAL! Sheila Gunn Reid looks at her top 3 exposés of 2018

00:00:00.000 Tonight, who is the most beloved rebel personality?

00:00:03.460 Well, I haven't taken a poll, but I guess it's this gal, Sheila Gunn-Reed, 0.97

00:00:07.120 our Alberta Bureau Chief, for a special full-length interview.

00:00:10.540 It's December 28th, and this is The Ezra LeVant Show.

00:00:19.300 Why should others go to jail when you're a biggest carbon consumer I know?

00:00:23.080 There's 8,500 customers here, and you won't give them an answer.

00:00:26.680 You come here once a year with a sign, and you feel morally superior.

00:00:30.000 The only thing I have to say to the government for why I publish it

00:00:33.760 is because it's my bloody right to do so.

00:00:40.540 Welcome back.

00:00:41.320 Well, I am based here in our world headquarters in Toronto,

00:00:44.160 but I was born in the West, and in many ways, my heart remains there.

00:00:48.840 And I'm glad that we have such a strong representation in Alberta.

00:00:53.000 We have a new reporter in Calgary named Kian Bextie,

00:00:56.440 and I think he's coming along great.

00:00:57.780 But, of course, the bedrock of our Western reportage

00:01:01.260 is our Alberta Bureau Chief, Sheila Gunn-Reed.

00:01:04.540 And it's a delight to talk with her today about her favorite three videos

00:01:07.740 of 2018 and her look ahead for 2019.

00:01:10.880 Sheila, great to see you again.

00:01:12.600 Hey, Ezra. Thanks for having me on.

00:01:14.100 Well, come on. It's our pleasure.

00:01:15.960 And although you are our Alberta Bureau Chief,

00:01:18.540 you cover stories across the country,

00:01:20.600 and, in fact, you have traveled quite far for the rebel.

00:01:25.500 In December, you went all the way to Katowice, Poland,

00:01:28.800 to cover the United Nations Global Warming Conference.

00:01:32.900 Yeah, that was great.

00:01:34.220 It was really great to see Poland be very, very happy to take all those tourism dollars,

00:01:40.520 but not to take the advice of the United Nations.

00:01:42.980 The whole conference was a message to the United Nations

00:01:45.960 that Poland is staying with their coal reserves,

00:01:50.860 and they're going to use coal as long as they can.

00:01:53.160 Yeah, that was great.

00:01:54.380 You know, I'm so glad you go to those conferences.

00:01:57.460 And you go as a skeptic.

00:01:59.760 They force you, even if you weren't a skeptic, and you are, of course,

00:02:03.260 but even if you weren't, they would have transformed you into one,

00:02:06.600 because they just won't let you inside the conferences anymore.

00:02:09.240 And they specifically say it's because you have asked questions

00:02:13.200 that the Canadian delegation finds impertinent.

00:02:19.440 Yeah, there's no way that you could walk away from those climate change conferences

00:02:24.820 feeling as though climate change is the most impending danger facing planet Earth right now,

00:02:32.420 because the people who attend those conferences sure don't act that way.

00:02:35.940 I mean, those conferences are absolutely fueled by fossil fuels,

00:02:40.580 and there's no way around it.

00:02:42.000 So when the UN delegates start behaving like climate change is going to kill us,

00:02:46.540 maybe I might start taking them seriously.

00:02:48.680 Yeah, and you know, the more you look into it,

00:02:50.600 and you've been right in the belly of the beast.

00:02:52.160 I've never been to such a conference, but I read about them closely.

00:02:55.580 It's like they're their own club with their own secret handshakes and secret languages.

00:03:00.160 Even the name of the conference, they call it COP, COP24, and next year will be COP25.

00:03:06.340 That stands for Conference of the Parties.

00:03:09.780 They've had this every year, so it's a perpetual motion machine.

00:03:14.080 They don't want to solve whatever the problem is they claim is the problem,

00:03:17.880 because then they wouldn't be a COP25, COP26.

00:03:20.440 And even the fact they say COP this, COP that, and their whole jargony language,

00:03:24.780 it's deliberate, it's the opposite of plain language,

00:03:28.780 because they want to create this new priesthood, this new fancy class,

00:03:33.640 that you don't understand what they're saying, but that's sort of the point,

00:03:37.040 so you have to rely on them, and how dare you doubt them,

00:03:39.960 and only they are enlightened, and sure, they're jetting around,

00:03:43.660 but you see it's important because they're important.

00:03:45.360 Like, it is, it is, if you went to a laboratory and said,

00:03:50.320 invent for me the most sneering, out-of-touch, globalist, elite caricature,

00:03:55.520 that's what they would come up with.

00:03:58.240 Yeah, and they use weird language, like you said.

00:04:00.780 Like, they say things like, elevating ambition to fight climate change.

00:04:05.900 What does that even mean?

00:04:07.760 And there's one thing, I know we pointed it out last year in a video,

00:04:11.580 there's a lot of swag, like there are swag bags that are given out

00:04:17.000 at these United Nations climate change conferences,

00:04:20.100 and everybody this year got a scarf, and they got a water bottle.

00:04:24.000 I mean, there's enormous expenses from the United Nations

00:04:26.600 to make sure that all the delegates are sort of dressed in their priestly garb,

00:04:31.480 their scarf, their vestments, to attend these things.

00:04:34.540 And if you really cared about, if that were your concern,

00:04:39.020 how climate change is affecting the poor in the developing world,

00:04:41.500 if you actually thought that was a thing,

00:04:43.240 you wouldn't be buying fancy people's scarves at the conference.

00:04:46.560 Yeah.

00:04:46.940 Well, you know, there are some absolutely true believers there.

00:04:51.100 There are ideologues, I'd call them almost cult-like.

00:04:54.420 Yeah.

00:04:55.060 I don't think global warming is a religion.

00:04:57.040 I think it's a superstition,

00:04:58.800 because there's an important difference between the two.

00:05:02.780 I think, though, just based on your reports,

00:05:06.840 I mean, to see all the private jets in the airports,

00:05:09.540 to see all the diesel-fired generators,

00:05:13.480 to see all the luxury.

00:05:15.280 If you are a true believer and you go there,

00:05:18.860 you will have an identity crisis.

00:05:21.300 You will say, how can these people be the saviors

00:05:23.780 if they're actually the biggest carbon consumers and living large,

00:05:27.640 and how can we say reduce, reuse, recycle,

00:05:29.500 when these people do none of those things?

00:05:30.940 So I think cynicism is actually,

00:05:34.780 it looks idealistic on the face of it,

00:05:37.360 but I think it's cynical,

00:05:39.020 and I think the real operators there,

00:05:41.520 and just take a minute on this,

00:05:42.820 because by the way,

00:05:43.440 we're going to go through your three favorite videos of the year,

00:05:46.080 but I just wanted to talk about this for a second.

00:05:50.240 Canada, in the form of Catherine McKenna,

00:05:52.960 our environment minister,

00:05:53.760 brought with her a 126-person entourage,

00:05:57.140 like she's the princess of Azkabad or something,

00:06:02.680 Agrabah.

00:06:04.720 Who has 126 little courtiers around them? 1.00

00:06:07.980 That's like some medieval prince or something.

00:06:12.000 So many of them are lobbyists and schemers and scammers

00:06:14.940 and business people, though.

00:06:16.240 So you've got the idealists.

00:06:18.280 You've got the cynical idealists

00:06:20.060 who are just in it for the fun of the parties and the inertia.

00:06:22.880 But then you've got all the little parasitical grant appliers,

00:06:31.280 subsidy hunters, grantrepreneurs,

00:06:34.500 that are embedded in these things.

00:06:36.380 That's probably the number one thing

00:06:39.120 that happens at these conferences,

00:06:40.980 is handouts are inked and special deals are cut.

00:06:45.860 I think so, too.

00:06:47.000 Although you did touch on an interesting point

00:06:48.640 when you said part of it is like a cult,

00:06:50.600 and I think that's probably very true.

00:06:53.380 There's always the cult leader or the cult body,

00:06:57.060 people at the top who are getting rich,

00:06:59.940 and if you give them their money,

00:07:01.180 they can put off the impending doomsday.

00:07:03.980 But I used to wonder why people

00:07:06.160 who are in a doomsday cult never leave

00:07:08.700 when the doomsday never comes.

00:07:10.120 They actually become more committed.

00:07:12.420 And that's what you see

00:07:13.200 at these United Nations climate change conferences.

00:07:15.960 The true believers,

00:07:17.040 those people who are back home,

00:07:18.620 who are pushing the climate change agenda,

00:07:20.840 who are only flushing their toilets once a day

00:07:23.480 or whatever they're doing back home,

00:07:25.360 the further away the climate apocalypse gets,

00:07:28.240 the more those people get committed

00:07:29.920 to the idea that it's coming.

00:07:31.300 They've bought right in,

00:07:32.380 and they can't buy out.

00:07:33.840 Yeah.

00:07:34.640 You know, you just made me think of that,

00:07:36.460 you know, that comedy show called The Office,

00:07:39.300 the American version.

00:07:40.520 I forget the name of the character,

00:07:41.840 who says,

00:07:42.340 I've been in a cult both as a leader and a follower.

00:07:45.140 He says it's more fun as a follower,

00:07:47.780 more profitable as a leader.

00:07:49.960 It was a great line,

00:07:51.580 and I just remember that always,

00:07:53.000 and I thought,

00:07:53.420 that is exactly what the global warming scheme is.

00:07:56.480 It's more fun to be,

00:07:57.560 hey, hey, ho, ho,

00:07:59.040 fossil fuels have got to go.

00:08:01.400 But it's a lot more profitable

00:08:02.340 to be the Jerry Butts or the Mike Crawleys,

00:08:05.360 just getting rich off the grants

00:08:07.420 or the wind power 20-year contracts.

00:08:10.680 All right, listen,

00:08:11.280 I just wanted to talk about that

00:08:12.520 because that's one of the amazing things you've done

00:08:14.200 around the world in Poland,

00:08:16.160 in Germany,

00:08:16.780 and even in Morocco.

00:08:18.080 But I've asked you to choose

00:08:19.900 three of the videos

00:08:21.120 that you thought were most interesting in 2018.

00:08:24.280 And the first one is one that,

00:08:27.120 you know,

00:08:27.340 we were just joking a little bit about global warming

00:08:29.100 and having a laugh.

00:08:30.220 This next story just makes me mad

00:08:31.900 and sad and frustrated.

00:08:34.220 Why don't you tell us a little bit

00:08:35.420 about the trial of a,

00:08:38.160 quote,

00:08:40.140 refugee to Canada

00:08:42.520 named Solomon Hajj Solomon

00:08:46.520 and what he was charged with.

00:08:50.540 He was a series,

00:08:51.380 one of Trudeau's Syrians,

00:08:53.080 and he was charged,

00:08:55.120 well, I'll let you tell us

00:08:56.140 and then we'll roll the clip.

00:08:57.080 Go ahead.

00:08:58.220 Sure.

00:08:59.160 Solomon Hajj Solomon

00:09:00.260 was part of Justin Trudeau's

00:09:01.920 first wave of Syrian refugees,

00:09:04.520 the ones that he brought in

00:09:06.000 to meet an arbitrary campaign goal.

00:09:09.040 He came to Canada 1.00

00:09:10.100 with his wife

00:09:11.820 and his five children at the time.

00:09:13.460 He ended up with six children

00:09:14.700 after the fact.

00:09:16.380 And shortly thereafter,

00:09:18.680 he came to Canada.

00:09:20.820 He was charged with molesting

00:09:23.000 six underaged girls

00:09:25.520 at Edmonton's World Water Park

00:09:27.760 at the West Edmonton Mall.

00:09:29.720 And I attended that trial

00:09:31.360 in its entirety.

00:09:32.460 I sat through

00:09:34.180 six full days of testimony,

00:09:36.200 I believe,

00:09:36.900 and then any other court proceeding

00:09:39.560 I came back to.

00:09:41.100 During the entire time,

00:09:42.520 I was the only reporter

00:09:43.740 who was there

00:09:44.340 from beginning to end.

00:09:45.940 There were reporters there

00:09:47.220 on the first day

00:09:48.080 and reporters who dwindled back in

00:09:50.100 on the last day.

00:09:51.160 But it was just me

00:09:52.260 hearing the wrenching testimony

00:09:55.400 of these girls

00:09:56.920 who broke down on the stand

00:09:58.180 while they described

00:09:59.460 what Solomon Hajj Solomon

00:10:01.000 was alleged to have done to them.

00:10:03.620 Yeah, well,

00:10:04.360 they described it

00:10:06.280 from their actual

00:10:07.300 first-hand testimony.

00:10:08.600 So they weren't saying,

00:10:09.740 you know,

00:10:10.220 this is an allegation.

00:10:11.260 They're saying,

00:10:11.800 this is what he did to me.

00:10:13.920 Let's play a clip

00:10:14.880 and then we'll ask you

00:10:16.240 how it ended up.

00:10:17.000 Here's a clip from your,

00:10:17.960 some of your videos

00:10:18.840 on the subject.

00:10:19.340 Not guilty on all 12 charges.

00:10:22.280 That's the judge's decision today

00:10:24.060 for Solomon Hajj Solomon,

00:10:26.320 a Syrian refugee

00:10:27.080 and father of six

00:10:28.160 who came to the country 0.96

00:10:29.460 December 2015.

00:10:31.760 He stood accused

00:10:32.820 of six counts

00:10:33.840 of sexual assault

00:10:34.940 and another six counts

00:10:36.680 of sexual interference.

00:10:38.560 Now, the charges

00:10:39.080 are all stemming

00:10:40.260 from just one night

00:10:41.880 at West Edmonton Mall's

00:10:43.480 World Water Park,

00:10:45.080 February 4th, 2017.

00:10:47.640 Six girls between the ages 0.90

00:10:48.900 of 13 to 15

00:10:50.280 accused Hajj Solomon

00:10:51.820 of sexually touching them

00:10:53.740 in the wave pool.

00:10:55.860 Court heard

00:10:56.360 two full weeks

00:10:57.340 of testimony

00:10:58.060 beginning in January.

00:10:59.840 Now, both the defense

00:11:00.760 and the crown

00:11:01.400 agreed that indeed

00:11:02.980 an assault happened

00:11:04.220 to the girls

00:11:04.940 that night

00:11:05.800 at the water park.

00:11:06.560 The issue before the judge

00:11:07.640 was simply identification.

00:11:10.500 The judge said

00:11:11.340 that she could not be sure

00:11:12.820 beyond a reasonable doubt

00:11:14.260 that Hajj Solomon 0.73

00:11:15.520 was the man

00:11:16.740 who molested the girls

00:11:18.120 at the water park.

00:11:19.460 The judge said

00:11:20.560 there was no confirmatory

00:11:22.580 evidence

00:11:23.180 that the person

00:11:24.380 pointed out

00:11:25.460 by the girls

00:11:26.160 was the person

00:11:27.160 responsible

00:11:27.840 for the molestations.

00:11:29.500 The judge also said

00:11:30.760 there was no evidence

00:11:31.960 that the person

00:11:33.000 followed by mall security

00:11:35.080 and lifeguards

00:11:35.900 from the pool

00:11:36.760 was the person

00:11:38.000 responsible

00:11:38.600 for the molestations.

00:11:40.140 So, so frustrating

00:11:43.380 acquitted on all charges

00:11:45.040 and this Trudeau Syrian 0.75

00:11:48.020 he had sort of

00:11:49.180 a little support group

00:11:50.780 there in court

00:11:51.820 cheering for him

00:11:52.660 didn't he?

00:11:53.980 He did.

00:11:54.840 The entire time

00:11:56.220 after the initial

00:11:57.920 reporters left

00:11:58.720 it was just me

00:11:59.680 sometimes one of

00:12:01.880 the girls' moms

00:12:02.980 one of the people

00:12:05.600 who works

00:12:06.560 with the city police

00:12:08.080 to support the girls

00:12:09.940 and then this gaggle

00:12:12.240 of elderly do-gooders 1.00

00:12:15.180 white liberal do-gooders

00:12:16.940 who were there

00:12:17.460 to support him

00:12:18.480 and they really

00:12:20.140 seemed unmoved

00:12:21.120 by the testimony

00:12:22.000 of the girls

00:12:22.720 I'll be frank with you

00:12:23.840 but you know

00:12:25.540 I have a daughter

00:12:26.420 who's 12

00:12:27.660 close in age

00:12:28.300 to these girls

00:12:28.780 and it was very difficult

00:12:29.740 to hear

00:12:30.360 the trauma

00:12:31.500 that these girls 0.93

00:12:32.160 experienced

00:12:32.760 both then

00:12:33.320 and after the fact

00:12:34.340 but these people

00:12:36.140 who were old enough

00:12:36.820 to be these girls' 0.98

00:12:37.640 grandparents

00:12:38.000 they really didn't

00:12:38.980 seem affected

00:12:39.780 by any of it.

00:12:41.040 Yeah

00:12:41.140 and in the end

00:12:42.100 if I recall

00:12:42.700 the judge said

00:12:43.480 one of the reasons

00:12:44.020 she refused

00:12:44.900 to believe

00:12:45.620 all these girls' 1.00

00:12:47.320 testimony

00:12:47.600 is that she

00:12:48.700 imputed to them

00:12:49.960 an inability

00:12:51.340 to identify

00:12:52.500 their assaulter

00:12:54.500 because he was

00:12:55.640 of a different race

00:12:56.600 and so

00:12:57.020 she

00:12:58.140 and correct me

00:12:59.440 if I'm wrong

00:13:00.020 the judge

00:13:00.700 essentially said

00:13:01.340 well you probably

00:13:02.100 think all Syrians

00:13:03.880 look the same

00:13:04.720 so I don't trust

00:13:05.740 your testimony

00:13:06.320 is that

00:13:06.780 an accurate enough

00:13:07.920 summary of what

00:13:08.520 the judge said?

00:13:09.820 Yeah

00:13:10.060 I'll paraphrase

00:13:10.940 she said something

00:13:11.860 along the lines

00:13:12.760 of because he is

00:13:14.260 in a different

00:13:15.300 cultural background

00:13:16.700 than the girls 0.99

00:13:17.560 she thought

00:13:19.820 that the girls

00:13:20.360 would have a difficult

00:13:21.240 time picking him

00:13:22.800 out from a crowd

00:13:23.520 which is as you say

00:13:24.560 basically saying

00:13:25.400 the girls must think 0.78

00:13:26.440 all Syrian refugees

00:13:27.560 look alike

00:13:28.240 now the girls 0.84

00:13:28.960 identified him

00:13:30.860 from the stand

00:13:31.840 and that is

00:13:33.740 after he changed

00:13:34.980 his appearance

00:13:35.740 from the time

00:13:37.500 of the alleged

00:13:38.480 assaults

00:13:39.160 until trial

00:13:39.900 he had a full beard

00:13:41.220 during the time

00:13:43.300 that he was charged

00:13:44.180 and when he appeared

00:13:45.140 at trial

00:13:45.720 he was clean shaven

00:13:46.760 but the girls 0.99

00:13:47.260 still identified him

00:13:48.740 yeah

00:13:49.220 I think

00:13:50.260 I mean

00:13:51.180 according to the law

00:13:52.340 he was acquitted

00:13:53.700 the two opposites

00:13:55.980 in court

00:13:56.600 are not guilty

00:13:57.700 sorry

00:13:58.400 are guilty

00:13:59.460 and not guilty

00:14:00.720 it's not guilty

00:14:02.160 and innocent

00:14:02.940 I do not believe

00:14:04.900 he was innocent

00:14:05.600 I believe he is

00:14:06.820 legally found

00:14:07.800 not guilty 0.79

00:14:08.560 but I damn well

00:14:10.100 believe he did it

00:14:11.160 even if the court

00:14:12.780 says he is legally

00:14:13.780 not guilty

00:14:14.460 of doing so

00:14:15.260 I think this judge

00:14:16.820 made a political

00:14:18.140 judgment

00:14:18.680 to cover up

00:14:19.480 for one of Trudeau's

00:14:20.320 Syrians 0.90

00:14:20.620 and I think

00:14:21.660 that these girls 0.93

00:14:22.740 have become

00:14:23.520 a sacrifice zone

00:14:24.980 for Trudeau's

00:14:26.360 Syrians 0.90

00:14:26.660 the same way

00:14:27.180 Marissa Shen

00:14:28.080 in Vancouver

00:14:29.460 appears to have

00:14:30.260 been part of

00:14:30.800 the sacrifice

00:14:31.400 community

00:14:32.280 for Trudeau's

00:14:32.960 Syrians 0.90

00:14:33.280 and I've learned

00:14:34.420 enough

00:14:34.800 about the rape

00:14:35.900 gangs

00:14:36.300 in the United

00:14:37.220 Kingdom

00:14:37.640 to know

00:14:38.560 that where

00:14:39.040 there are

00:14:39.600 tens and

00:14:40.880 hundreds

00:14:41.280 there will soon

00:14:41.880 be thousands

00:14:43.220 and I tell you

00:14:43.980 this without

00:14:44.480 anything but sorrow

00:14:46.960 all right Sheila

00:14:48.700 let's move on

00:14:49.220 to the next story

00:14:49.780 that one just

00:14:50.240 gets me so mad

00:14:50.980 speaking of Syria

00:14:51.920 and global warming

00:14:53.780 well we can

00:14:54.260 combine the two 1.00

00:14:55.300 take the dumbest 1.00

00:14:56.600 cabinet minister 1.00

00:14:57.300 in cabinet

00:14:57.740 well that's not

00:14:58.280 quite true

00:14:58.660 because that would

00:14:59.060 be Mary Monsef

00:14:59.860 I think

00:15:00.160 take Catherine

00:15:01.900 McKenna

00:15:02.280 the Kim Kardashian

00:15:03.660 the climate

00:15:04.520 Barbie

00:15:04.880 of the cabinet

00:15:06.160 add Syria

00:15:07.460 and her Twitter

00:15:08.720 mania

00:15:09.100 and tell us

00:15:09.900 what we get

00:15:10.400 we get

00:15:13.380 a tweet

00:15:13.980 of her

00:15:14.580 congratulating

00:15:15.620 Nicaragua

00:15:16.360 and Syria

00:15:17.500 for signing

00:15:18.500 on to the

00:15:19.080 Paris agreement

00:15:19.880 it was

00:15:21.080 resoundly mocked

00:15:22.780 at the time

00:15:23.360 that she made

00:15:24.020 this tweet

00:15:24.640 from her

00:15:25.060 department

00:15:25.500 Twitter

00:15:25.940 so we dug

00:15:27.660 a little deeper

00:15:28.420 we wanted to

00:15:29.380 know how

00:15:29.740 that tweet

00:15:30.200 came to be

00:15:30.900 and whose

00:15:32.120 hands and

00:15:32.820 eyeballs it

00:15:33.580 passed through

00:15:34.500 and who decided

00:15:35.620 it was a good

00:15:36.360 idea so we

00:15:37.140 filed an access

00:15:37.920 to information

00:15:38.700 request

00:15:39.180 and we got

00:15:40.480 all the details

00:15:41.560 and as an

00:15:44.120 interesting side

00:15:44.880 note to this

00:15:45.460 story

00:15:45.960 at the very

00:15:46.920 same time

00:15:47.740 CDC

00:15:48.380 had the

00:15:49.680 same access

00:15:50.460 to information

00:15:51.140 documents

00:15:51.900 and they

00:15:52.780 sat on them

00:15:53.900 for obvious

00:15:55.480 political expediency

00:15:56.680 until we

00:15:57.580 broke this

00:15:58.340 story

00:15:58.780 yeah

00:15:59.220 we'll play the

00:16:01.520 clip in one

00:16:01.980 second

00:16:02.220 I just want to

00:16:02.780 point out

00:16:03.380 if it wasn't

00:16:04.420 obvious to our

00:16:05.160 people

00:16:05.540 that Syria 0.82

00:16:06.960 of course

00:16:07.400 is ruled

00:16:08.080 by a

00:16:09.620 dictator

00:16:10.860 he's not a

00:16:11.540 Democrat

00:16:11.900 who has

00:16:12.880 waged a

00:16:13.860 brutal civil

00:16:14.500 war

00:16:14.780 I actually

00:16:15.580 think he's

00:16:16.060 better than

00:16:16.540 ISIS

00:16:16.880 but that's

00:16:17.860 like

00:16:18.200 saying I'd

00:16:20.120 rather be 0.89

00:16:20.660 shot than 0.99

00:16:21.240 be hanged 0.99

00:16:22.020 and Nicaragua 0.94

00:16:23.200 is one of the

00:16:24.720 least free

00:16:25.260 countries in

00:16:26.380 the Americas

00:16:27.020 so for her

00:16:28.200 to support

00:16:28.940 Syria and

00:16:29.880 Nicaragua

00:16:30.500 because they

00:16:31.160 signed some

00:16:31.720 meaningless global

00:16:32.420 warming

00:16:32.880 platform

00:16:33.820 shows the

00:16:35.140 shallowness

00:16:35.740 and the

00:16:36.020 lack of

00:16:36.360 seriousness

00:16:36.720 but let's

00:16:37.440 take this

00:16:37.960 look at

00:16:38.480 your video

00:16:38.920 story from

00:16:39.920 2018

00:16:40.540 remember

00:16:41.660 when Catherine

00:16:42.900 McKenna

00:16:43.420 thought that

00:16:44.220 chemical weapons

00:16:45.240 are hot

00:16:45.960 but carbon

00:16:46.560 dioxide is

00:16:47.680 not

00:16:48.140 she sent

00:16:49.240 out a

00:16:50.040 tweet last

00:16:50.820 November

00:16:51.360 praising

00:16:52.220 Syria for

00:16:53.520 signing on

00:16:54.100 to the

00:16:54.340 Paris

00:16:54.660 Accord

00:16:55.160 Canada

00:16:56.080 salutes

00:16:56.660 Nicaragua

00:16:57.400 and Syria

00:16:58.220 for joining

00:16:58.860 on to the

00:16:59.360 Paris

00:16:59.680 agreement

00:17:00.180 global

00:17:01.080 climate

00:17:01.720 action

00:17:02.340 anyway

00:17:03.000 the tweet

00:17:04.500 spawned

00:17:05.100 immediate

00:17:06.060 backlash

00:17:06.820 and

00:17:07.360 international

00:17:08.340 embarrassment

00:17:08.880 for us

00:17:09.340 Canadians

00:17:09.880 McKenna

00:17:10.680 was condemned

00:17:11.440 and mocked

00:17:12.400 for her

00:17:12.760 misplaced

00:17:13.240 priorities

00:17:13.820 of carbon

00:17:14.860 taxes

00:17:15.320 and climate

00:17:16.000 change

00:17:16.280 fear-mongering

00:17:16.880 over

00:17:17.360 very real

00:17:18.700 human rights

00:17:19.440 abuses

00:17:19.840 like using

00:17:20.800 chemical

00:17:21.320 weapons

00:17:21.860 against

00:17:22.280 civilians

00:17:22.860 happening

00:17:23.960 at the

00:17:24.320 hands

00:17:24.640 of the

00:17:24.960 Assad

00:17:25.340 regime

00:17:25.860 McKenna

00:17:26.660 said

00:17:27.000 that it

00:17:27.620 was

00:17:27.780 clearly

00:17:28.340 a mistake

00:17:29.160 from her

00:17:29.740 department

00:17:30.240 Twitter

00:17:30.900 she

00:17:31.800 tweeted

00:17:32.360 that the

00:17:32.960 liberals

00:17:33.440 have made

00:17:34.040 it clear

00:17:34.840 that the

00:17:35.980 murderous 0.90

00:17:36.400 Assad 0.99

00:17:36.740 regime

00:17:37.140 must end

00:17:37.960 attacks

00:17:38.460 against

00:17:38.980 its

00:17:39.280 people

00:17:39.740 I dug

00:17:40.760 a little

00:17:41.100 deeper

00:17:41.520 into this

00:17:42.160 mess

00:17:42.500 I can

00:17:43.300 tell you

00:17:43.880 that

00:17:44.340 Catherine

00:17:44.760 McKenna

00:17:45.140 wasn't

00:17:45.560 exactly

00:17:46.060 forthright

00:17:46.700 when she

00:17:47.120 denied

00:17:47.580 knowledge

00:17:48.060 of the

00:17:48.440 tweet

00:17:48.740 and at

00:17:49.120 the

00:17:49.260 rebel

00:17:49.560 we

00:17:50.160 now

00:17:50.700 have

00:17:51.100 the

00:17:51.320 exclusive

00:17:51.900 documents

00:17:52.960 from

00:17:53.400 within

00:17:53.800 McKenna's

00:17:54.540 own

00:17:54.800 ministry

00:17:55.180 to prove

00:17:55.700 it

00:17:56.000 yeah

00:17:57.940 she

00:17:58.320 had a

00:17:59.720 gaffe

00:18:00.200 and then

00:18:00.760 she

00:18:00.980 threw

00:18:01.440 one of

00:18:02.200 her

00:18:02.340 staff

00:18:02.640 under

00:18:02.840 the

00:18:02.980 bus

00:18:03.200 and

00:18:03.360 blamed

00:18:03.600 it

00:18:03.780 on

00:18:03.960 them

00:18:04.180 that

00:18:04.720 that's

00:18:05.260 the

00:18:05.560 gross

00:18:05.880 part

00:18:06.220 I mean

00:18:06.560 she loves

00:18:07.720 to take

00:18:08.020 the

00:18:08.180 credit

00:18:08.480 whatever

00:18:09.160 credit

00:18:09.680 there is

00:18:10.300 from her

00:18:11.000 staff

00:18:11.320 but she

00:18:11.780 will not

00:18:12.360 take any

00:18:12.860 blame

00:18:13.180 will she

00:18:13.680 no

00:18:15.040 we saw

00:18:16.040 that that

00:18:16.480 tweet

00:18:16.760 went

00:18:17.120 its final

00:18:18.580 approval

00:18:19.020 actually came

00:18:19.800 from Catherine

00:18:20.380 McKenna's

00:18:20.840 office

00:18:21.160 so when she

00:18:22.060 said it

00:18:22.360 was you

00:18:22.700 know just a

00:18:23.140 department

00:18:23.480 error

00:18:23.880 that's

00:18:24.640 completely

00:18:25.060 and totally

00:18:25.740 untrue

00:18:26.240 her people

00:18:27.060 her office

00:18:28.020 were the

00:18:28.400 last people

00:18:28.880 to sign

00:18:29.260 off on

00:18:29.640 it

00:18:29.800 I want

00:18:30.920 to talk

00:18:31.220 about the

00:18:31.500 third

00:18:31.660 story

00:18:31.900 and the

00:18:32.120 funny

00:18:32.300 thing

00:18:32.560 is

00:18:32.840 I started

00:18:34.940 off by saying

00:18:35.440 you're our

00:18:35.700 Alberta

00:18:36.020 bureau chief

00:18:36.680 you help

00:18:37.320 us cover

00:18:37.720 the western

00:18:38.120 flank of

00:18:38.600 this country

00:18:39.020 we talked

00:18:39.960 about your

00:18:40.320 trip to

00:18:40.760 the three

00:18:41.280 different

00:18:41.520 global warming

00:18:42.060 companies

00:18:42.280 you've also

00:18:42.640 been on

00:18:43.860 journeys with

00:18:44.360 us even

00:18:44.660 to Israel

00:18:45.220 so we

00:18:46.580 cover the

00:18:47.060 world

00:18:47.460 but it's

00:18:48.200 interesting

00:18:48.540 that the

00:18:49.120 three stories

00:18:49.600 we're talking

00:18:49.960 about today

00:18:50.320 all have

00:18:50.780 something in

00:18:51.260 common

00:18:51.480 namely

00:18:51.980 open borders

00:18:53.420 globalist

00:18:54.100 migration

00:18:54.660 isn't it

00:18:55.240 interesting

00:18:55.620 because I

00:18:56.000 think that's

00:18:56.340 something

00:18:56.600 the whole

00:18:57.280 country

00:18:57.640 affects the

00:18:58.000 whole

00:18:58.140 country

00:18:58.520 and this

00:18:59.540 next story

00:19:00.260 again an

00:19:01.420 access to

00:19:01.880 information

00:19:02.840 that you

00:19:03.500 dug up

00:19:04.020 there's a

00:19:04.960 lot of

00:19:05.260 gossip on

00:19:05.780 the internet

00:19:06.140 and I

00:19:06.700 see lots

00:19:07.280 of memes

00:19:07.840 on Facebook

00:19:08.640 about how

00:19:09.800 much money

00:19:10.700 these illegal

00:19:12.140 migrants to

00:19:12.940 Canada get

00:19:13.660 just for

00:19:14.120 showing up

00:19:14.600 and you see

00:19:14.940 it on

00:19:15.160 Facebook

00:19:15.520 and you

00:19:15.800 think

00:19:15.980 is that

00:19:16.600 real

00:19:16.960 is that

00:19:17.520 fake news

00:19:18.300 the only

00:19:19.680 way to

00:19:19.980 know is

00:19:20.320 to get

00:19:20.520 the actual

00:19:21.200 government

00:19:21.500 documents

00:19:22.020 and you

00:19:24.660 did

00:19:25.200 and I

00:19:25.700 tell you

00:19:25.960 the actual

00:19:26.460 number is

00:19:27.020 far higher

00:19:27.840 than anything

00:19:28.500 I've seen

00:19:28.860 on Facebook

00:19:29.360 why don't

00:19:29.620 you tell

00:19:29.840 us a

00:19:30.040 story

00:19:30.240 sure

00:19:31.560 we wanted

00:19:32.720 to know

00:19:33.080 exactly

00:19:33.520 how much

00:19:34.180 cash

00:19:35.060 money

00:19:35.480 the

00:19:36.520 liberals

00:19:36.940 are giving

00:19:37.460 to Syrian

00:19:38.360 migrants

00:19:38.820 as they

00:19:39.160 come into

00:19:39.440 the country

00:19:39.960 and so

00:19:40.580 we filed

00:19:40.980 an access

00:19:41.360 to information

00:19:41.960 request

00:19:42.360 and we

00:19:43.780 found

00:19:44.220 not only

00:19:45.000 that the

00:19:45.900 liberals

00:19:46.220 are handing

00:19:47.360 out up

00:19:48.560 to $50,000

00:19:49.760 just in cash

00:19:51.080 benefits

00:19:51.500 those aren't

00:19:52.020 the additional

00:19:52.640 additional benefits

00:19:53.860 those aren't

00:19:54.240 language supports

00:19:55.120 that that's

00:19:55.780 not food banks

00:19:56.420 that's just

00:19:57.200 cash money

00:19:57.960 to Syrian

00:19:59.000 migrant families

00:20:00.160 but we

00:20:00.700 also found

00:20:01.380 in that

00:20:01.620 same document

00:20:02.220 package

00:20:02.580 that the

00:20:02.880 bureaucrats

00:20:03.380 were trying

00:20:03.700 to make

00:20:04.160 it so

00:20:05.360 that nobody

00:20:05.940 actually found

00:20:06.680 out that

00:20:07.060 number

00:20:07.300 they were

00:20:07.600 trying to

00:20:08.100 find different

00:20:08.700 ways to

00:20:09.800 word their

00:20:10.720 replies to

00:20:11.740 people who

00:20:12.820 are sending

00:20:13.160 inquiries like

00:20:13.980 those at the

00:20:14.460 Canadian Taxpayers

00:20:15.240 Federation

00:20:15.560 they were

00:20:16.140 actively

00:20:16.700 workshopping

00:20:17.640 the best way

00:20:18.520 to provide

00:20:19.000 a non-answer

00:20:19.860 about the

00:20:20.580 number of

00:20:21.040 cash benefits

00:20:22.200 that were

00:20:22.560 going to

00:20:22.940 the Syrian

00:20:23.320 migrants

00:20:23.800 when you

00:20:24.520 have plans

00:20:25.480 to keep

00:20:26.220 the truth

00:20:26.700 about something

00:20:27.360 away from

00:20:28.180 the public

00:20:28.760 that's sort

00:20:29.580 of a tip

00:20:30.000 off that

00:20:30.380 you know

00:20:30.800 you're doing

00:20:31.240 something

00:20:31.700 that's unethical

00:20:32.920 or unacceptable

00:20:33.740 here's a clip

00:20:34.380 from that

00:20:34.800 report you

00:20:35.260 did

00:20:35.520 we have

00:20:36.480 received

00:20:37.020 a secret

00:20:37.800 memo

00:20:38.180 where

00:20:39.140 bureaucrats

00:20:39.900 are discussing

00:20:40.620 how best

00:20:41.280 to handle

00:20:41.860 a media

00:20:42.500 inquiry

00:20:43.240 about the

00:20:44.180 yearly

00:20:44.760 cash

00:20:45.460 financial

00:20:46.060 support

00:20:46.560 that

00:20:46.780 Canadians

00:20:47.300 would be

00:20:47.720 providing

00:20:48.240 to this

00:20:48.660 new

00:20:48.880 influx

00:20:49.440 of Syrians

00:20:50.660 here's

00:20:51.560 the email

00:20:52.040 chain

00:20:52.480 thanks Nancy

00:20:53.620 we have

00:20:54.440 a table

00:20:55.020 approved

00:20:55.900 and past

00:20:56.620 responses

00:20:57.220 with breakdowns

00:20:58.180 can we try

00:20:59.040 to dig

00:20:59.440 that up

00:20:59.840 and include

00:21:00.300 it here

00:21:00.760 I think

00:21:01.720 the reporter

00:21:02.360 is looking

00:21:02.840 for numbers

00:21:03.420 we know

00:21:04.320 that 50k

00:21:05.740 is the new

00:21:06.360 startup cost

00:21:07.080 but we haven't

00:21:07.620 used that yet

00:21:08.580 if we do

00:21:09.460 can we get

00:21:10.080 MINO approval

00:21:11.020 earlier this week

00:21:12.560 we opted

00:21:13.000 to go with

00:21:13.440 the individual

00:21:13.960 cost response

00:21:14.880 for the

00:21:15.300 Canadian

00:21:15.660 Federation

00:21:16.300 of Taxpayers

00:21:17.240 but in this

00:21:18.580 instance

00:21:19.080 the reporter

00:21:19.640 is talking

00:21:20.180 about families

00:21:20.960 so it may

00:21:22.100 be okay

00:21:22.820 to use

00:21:23.540 and I just

00:21:26.200 want to say

00:21:26.680 we set up

00:21:27.140 a little

00:21:27.440 micro website

00:21:28.580 with this

00:21:29.600 story

00:21:29.920 and the

00:21:30.500 full access

00:21:31.180 information

00:21:31.780 document

00:21:32.140 it's a

00:21:32.340 very easy

00:21:32.740 to remember

00:21:33.120 website

00:21:33.620 it's just

00:21:34.440 50,000

00:21:35.560 5,0,0,0,0

00:21:38.980 dot

00:21:40.200 CA

00:21:40.640 5,0,0

00:21:43.020 how many

00:21:43.820 zeros

00:21:44.220 is that

00:21:44.700 that's

00:21:45.040 four zeros

00:21:46.480 that's a lot

00:21:47.140 of zeros

00:21:47.700 that's a lot

00:21:48.720 of zeros

00:21:49.200 50,000

00:21:49.980 dot CA

00:21:50.600 people can

00:21:51.460 see the

00:21:51.740 whole document

00:21:52.340 they were

00:21:53.880 scheming

00:21:54.840 and scamming

00:21:55.980 and planning

00:21:56.860 how can

00:21:57.580 we hide

00:21:58.900 this fact

00:22:00.100 and I should

00:22:00.520 tell you

00:22:00.880 we just

00:22:01.780 talked about

00:22:02.240 how the

00:22:02.680 CBC

00:22:03.040 once you

00:22:03.580 broke

00:22:03.920 the Catherine

00:22:04.700 McKenna

00:22:05.100 tweet story

00:22:05.820 the CBC

00:22:06.640 grudgingly

00:22:07.400 followed it

00:22:08.040 which they

00:22:08.360 had been

00:22:08.580 sitting on

00:22:09.060 I haven't

00:22:10.100 seen any

00:22:10.520 mainstream

00:22:10.860 media

00:22:11.220 follow up

00:22:11.820 on your

00:22:12.220 scoop

00:22:12.660 backed up

00:22:13.480 with primary

00:22:13.940 documents

00:22:14.500 that is

00:22:15.220 50 grand

00:22:15.840 a pop

00:22:16.220 have you

00:22:16.520 seen any

00:22:16.900 mainstream

00:22:17.200 media

00:22:17.540 follow your

00:22:17.980 story

00:22:18.260 no in

00:22:19.740 fact I

00:22:20.140 actually I

00:22:20.980 was sort

00:22:21.720 of suspecting

00:22:22.740 that the

00:22:24.100 Canadian

00:22:24.720 Federation of

00:22:25.400 Taxpayers

00:22:25.860 might follow

00:22:26.500 up on it

00:22:27.020 because they're

00:22:27.940 involved in

00:22:28.640 this story

00:22:29.120 although just

00:22:30.080 peripherally

00:22:30.900 but they

00:22:32.040 haven't yet

00:22:32.540 either

00:22:32.820 and you

00:22:33.300 know we

00:22:33.940 publish these

00:22:34.680 documents

00:22:35.200 we publish

00:22:36.040 them for

00:22:36.540 everybody

00:22:37.060 so that not

00:22:38.160 only our

00:22:38.520 viewers can

00:22:39.160 see what

00:22:39.700 they've helped

00:22:40.280 me fundraise

00:22:41.260 to pay

00:22:41.620 because we

00:22:42.080 do have to

00:22:42.620 fundraise to

00:22:43.200 pay for

00:22:43.480 these documents

00:22:44.100 they're very

00:22:44.900 expensive

00:22:45.440 but because

00:22:46.880 we don't

00:22:47.540 want to have

00:22:48.340 a monopoly

00:22:48.820 on the

00:22:49.260 truth

00:22:49.660 I want

00:22:51.240 these stories

00:22:52.120 to end up

00:22:52.640 in the

00:22:52.840 mainstream

00:22:53.180 media

00:22:53.520 I want

00:22:54.080 them to

00:22:54.460 steal my

00:22:54.960 work

00:22:55.240 although

00:22:55.440 properly

00:22:56.000 attributed

00:22:56.560 and they're

00:22:58.980 just not

00:22:59.560 there's a

00:23:00.540 cone of

00:23:00.920 seclusion

00:23:01.380 and a

00:23:01.740 cone of

00:23:02.040 silence

00:23:02.440 around all

00:23:02.940 of this

00:23:03.260 yeah and I

00:23:03.720 think it's

00:23:03.960 only going

00:23:04.220 to get

00:23:04.400 worse

00:23:04.680 as the

00:23:05.160 $595

00:23:06.100 million

00:23:06.660 Trudeau

00:23:07.800 bailout

00:23:08.440 slush fund

00:23:09.120 is rolled

00:23:10.060 out in the

00:23:10.600 campaign year

00:23:11.240 I mean I

00:23:11.600 think that

00:23:12.080 the media

00:23:12.920 was contracting

00:23:13.660 anyways because

00:23:14.540 of economic

00:23:15.140 and technology

00:23:16.360 reasons

00:23:16.880 the CBC

00:23:18.120 was an

00:23:18.740 unfair

00:23:19.100 competitor

00:23:19.640 larger

00:23:20.180 than all

00:23:20.920 of the

00:23:21.100 news media

00:23:21.480 combined

00:23:22.020 they obviously

00:23:22.960 do the bidding

00:23:23.960 of their

00:23:24.240 paymaster

00:23:24.760 but I think

00:23:25.620 that's going

00:23:26.080 to accelerate

00:23:26.660 in 2019

00:23:27.660 let's end

00:23:29.440 on that

00:23:29.960 note

00:23:30.360 what do you

00:23:31.280 think

00:23:31.660 2019

00:23:32.600 is going

00:23:33.720 to look

00:23:33.960 like

00:23:34.100 let me

00:23:34.320 start by

00:23:34.720 giving you

00:23:35.120 what I

00:23:35.600 think

00:23:35.760 is going

00:23:36.000 to happen

00:23:36.360 you've

00:23:36.960 got an

00:23:37.180 election

00:23:37.500 year

00:23:37.800 provincially

00:23:38.380 in Alberta

00:23:38.840 Rachel

00:23:39.200 Nolley

00:23:39.620 doomed

00:23:40.100 but she's 0.97

00:23:41.220 going to

00:23:41.420 go down 0.78

00:23:41.940 firing 0.97

00:23:42.480 every shot

00:23:43.140 she can 0.59

00:23:43.620 and then

00:23:44.900 Justin Trudeau

00:23:46.380 re-election

00:23:47.160 campaign

00:23:47.640 I've seen

00:23:47.940 a couple

00:23:48.260 of bad

00:23:48.600 polls

00:23:48.840 for him

00:23:49.160 in a row

00:23:49.680 I think

00:23:52.360 he will

00:23:52.700 win

00:23:52.960 because the

00:23:53.420 media will

00:23:53.820 just haul 0.85

00:23:54.620 his carcass 0.63

00:23:55.300 across the

00:23:55.940 finish line

00:23:56.760 and I think

00:23:57.620 Andrew Scheer

00:23:58.080 lacks a

00:23:58.620 fighting spirit

00:23:59.260 and a

00:23:59.660 charisma

00:23:59.960 I'm sorry

00:24:00.320 I just

00:24:00.620 think that's

00:24:01.000 a fact

00:24:01.400 and I

00:24:02.660 regret that

00:24:03.160 Maxime

00:24:03.480 Bernier is

00:24:03.840 going to

00:24:04.060 shave a

00:24:04.440 few votes

00:24:04.880 off the

00:24:05.240 conservatives

00:24:05.720 in key

00:24:06.160 ridings

00:24:06.560 so I

00:24:08.040 think Trudeau

00:24:08.680 is going

00:24:08.960 to win

00:24:09.220 again

00:24:09.580 but I

00:24:10.120 think he's

00:24:10.420 going to

00:24:10.640 win

00:24:10.840 ugly 0.98

00:24:11.200 and I 0.99

00:24:12.080 think he's

00:24:12.540 going to

00:24:12.840 call everyone

00:24:13.500 who disagrees

00:24:14.080 with him

00:24:14.340 a racist 1.00

00:24:14.760 a bigot 0.99

00:24:15.300 an Islamophobe 0.99

00:24:16.620 a transphobe

00:24:17.640 I think

00:24:18.620 they're going

00:24:19.020 to try

00:24:20.420 and censor

00:24:21.220 I really

00:24:21.900 think they're

00:24:22.240 going to

00:24:22.400 come for

00:24:22.660 the rebel

00:24:22.960 in some

00:24:23.380 way

00:24:23.660 and I

00:24:24.540 know that

00:24:24.860 sounds like

00:24:25.400 a speculative

00:24:26.300 conspiracy

00:24:27.020 theory

00:24:27.400 they've

00:24:27.880 condemned

00:24:28.140 us by

00:24:28.520 name

00:24:28.800 in

00:24:28.980 parliament

00:24:29.380 I

00:24:29.940 think

00:24:30.140 2019

00:24:30.760 is going

00:24:31.140 to be

00:24:31.260 the

00:24:31.440 hardest

00:24:31.780 year

00:24:32.400 of our

00:24:33.240 existence

00:24:33.760 and the

00:24:34.360 worst

00:24:34.700 year

00:24:35.260 for Canadians

00:24:36.580 in terms

00:24:37.100 of accurate

00:24:37.740 news

00:24:38.220 that's my

00:24:39.480 super

00:24:39.880 pessimistic

00:24:40.440 prediction

00:24:40.800 what's

00:24:41.120 yours

00:24:41.420 I

00:24:42.640 completely

00:24:43.180 agree

00:24:43.460 with you

00:24:43.720 I was

00:24:43.940 just

00:24:44.080 going

00:24:44.240 to say

00:24:44.600 that

00:24:44.980 based

00:24:46.060 on the

00:24:46.520 rhetoric

00:24:46.880 coming out

00:24:47.440 of the

00:24:47.660 house of

00:24:47.980 commons

00:24:48.400 calling us

00:24:49.160 out by

00:24:49.460 name

00:24:49.760 the

00:24:50.600 liberals

00:24:51.460 it's

00:24:52.400 really

00:24:52.600 their

00:24:52.780 campaign

00:24:53.160 strategy

00:24:53.660 to attack

00:24:54.660 their

00:24:54.900 largest

00:24:55.340 critic

00:24:55.680 they

00:24:55.980 punch 0.96

00:24:56.540 as much

00:24:57.060 at us

00:24:57.700 as they

00:24:58.140 do

00:24:58.320 the

00:24:58.520 federal

00:24:58.820 conservatives

00:24:59.480 and then

00:25:00.340 here in

00:25:00.840 Alberta

00:25:01.180 Rachel

00:25:01.640 Notley

00:25:02.040 she knows

00:25:03.040 she's

00:25:03.480 done

00:25:03.760 she's

00:25:04.280 doomed

00:25:04.580 but I've

00:25:05.420 seen her

00:25:05.920 communications

00:25:06.840 director

00:25:07.720 come out

00:25:08.680 and attack 0.99

00:25:09.180 me 0.99

00:25:09.400 personally

00:25:09.840 she's the 0.99

00:25:10.740 woman who 0.99

00:25:11.180 signaled

00:25:11.820 to the

00:25:12.560 sheriff

00:25:12.920 at the

00:25:13.520 legislature

00:25:13.960 to remove

00:25:14.700 me from

00:25:15.160 the legislature

00:25:15.780 from reporting

00:25:16.540 I saw her

00:25:17.440 do it

00:25:17.880 she's come

00:25:18.960 out and

00:25:19.220 attacked me

00:25:19.700 personally

00:25:20.100 saying that

00:25:20.660 she would

00:25:21.160 throw me 0.74

00:25:21.820 out

00:25:22.200 again

00:25:23.060 because she

00:25:23.980 says that

00:25:24.480 I am

00:25:24.860 hateful 0.66

00:25:25.560 homophobic 1.00

00:25:26.340 Islamophobic 0.90

00:25:27.660 and anti-Semitic

00:25:29.880 I mean just

00:25:30.660 all of them

00:25:31.460 she's just

00:25:31.980 throwing everything

00:25:32.680 at me 0.96

00:25:33.160 like you

00:25:33.780 know what

00:25:34.280 and the

00:25:36.120 fact that

00:25:36.720 that outrageous

00:25:37.740 statement by

00:25:39.060 her that she

00:25:39.620 would throw

00:25:40.140 you out

00:25:40.460 as if she

00:25:41.040 has the

00:25:42.540 legal authority

00:25:43.500 as if she

00:25:44.200 has the

00:25:44.640 moral authority

00:25:45.500 as if she

00:25:45.980 has the

00:25:46.500 organizational

00:25:47.640 authority

00:25:48.320 like it's

00:25:48.700 an absurd

00:25:49.260 embarrassing

00:25:50.180 petulant

00:25:51.500 tantrum

00:25:52.000 statement

00:25:52.480 but the

00:25:53.580 fact that

00:25:54.280 not a

00:25:55.060 single

00:25:55.620 journalist

00:25:56.540 in Alberta

00:25:57.280 said

00:25:57.760 yeah you're

00:25:59.320 getting creepy

00:25:59.980 the fact that

00:26:00.800 they all

00:26:01.240 said yeah

00:26:01.640 we're either

00:26:03.000 fine with

00:26:03.520 that or

00:26:04.420 if we're not

00:26:04.820 we're going

00:26:05.080 to shut up 0.98

00:26:05.560 because we're 0.91

00:26:07.040 all thinking

00:26:07.900 that we need

00:26:08.780 some sort of

00:26:09.680 bailout or

00:26:10.320 maybe we're

00:26:10.680 going to get

00:26:10.960 a job

00:26:11.500 that super

00:26:14.360 gross

00:26:14.660 statement by

00:26:15.560 Rachel Notley's

00:26:16.660 press aide

00:26:17.260 had that been

00:26:18.140 made by

00:26:18.680 Kenny's

00:26:19.240 press aide

00:26:19.880 or Harper's

00:26:20.720 press aide

00:26:21.300 or Scheer's

00:26:22.180 press aide

00:26:22.540 or Bernier's

00:26:23.080 press aide

00:26:23.500 it would be

00:26:24.080 top of the

00:26:24.500 news for a

00:26:24.940 week

00:26:25.120 oh my god

00:26:25.920 they call

00:26:26.220 this enemy

00:26:26.600 of the people

00:26:26.960 the way

00:26:27.200 they go

00:26:27.440 after Donald

00:26:27.880 Trump

00:26:28.180 when he

00:26:28.820 criticizes

00:26:29.400 CNN

00:26:29.820 Trump

00:26:31.380 doesn't say

00:26:31.920 I'll throw

00:26:32.280 any one 1.00

00:26:32.780 of you

00:26:32.960 out of the

00:26:33.340 building

00:26:33.700 he only

00:26:35.020 I mean

00:26:35.360 he did

00:26:35.800 revoke

00:26:36.240 Jim Acosta's

00:26:37.860 press pass

00:26:39.020 for one

00:26:39.440 day

00:26:39.620 because Acosta

00:26:40.140 wouldn't let

00:26:40.620 go of the

00:26:40.960 mic

00:26:41.160 and he was

00:26:41.580 being

00:26:42.240 rambunctious

00:26:42.800 but Cheryl 1.00

00:26:43.700 Oates

00:26:44.040 of Alberta

00:26:44.500 said she'd 0.99

00:26:45.020 kick you 1.00

00:26:45.300 out on

00:26:45.640 site

00:26:45.960 sorry

00:26:46.540 sister

00:26:46.940 that's

00:26:47.280 illegal

00:26:47.640 not a

00:26:48.440 word

00:26:48.620 from the

00:26:48.960 media

00:26:49.220 last word

00:26:49.640 to you

00:26:49.940 Sheila

00:26:50.200 yeah of

00:26:51.640 course

00:26:51.780 there's

00:26:52.000 no word

00:26:52.340 from the

00:26:52.660 media

00:26:52.920 because

00:26:53.440 I break

00:26:55.380 the stories

00:26:55.960 that they

00:26:56.480 won't

00:26:56.960 I ask

00:26:57.560 the questions

00:26:58.100 they refuse

00:26:58.900 to

00:26:59.240 so why

00:27:00.240 wouldn't

00:27:00.460 they want 0.97

00:27:00.760 me kicked

00:27:01.120 out

00:27:01.420 I'm their

00:27:02.020 competition

00:27:02.820 I'm eating

00:27:03.340 their lunch

00:27:03.840 every day

00:27:04.280 from my

00:27:04.680 basement

00:27:05.000 out here

00:27:05.460 in the

00:27:05.740 middle of

00:27:06.040 Nowheresville

00:27:06.700 Alberta

00:27:07.100 well we

00:27:08.800 love you

00:27:09.300 out there

00:27:09.940 in the

00:27:10.140 middle of

00:27:10.400 Nowheresville

00:27:10.920 Alberta

00:27:11.560 and of

00:27:12.260 course we

00:27:12.600 know it

00:27:12.980 is

00:27:13.180 Somewheresville

00:27:13.800 and you

00:27:14.340 are everywhere

00:27:14.800 you have

00:27:16.020 covered

00:27:16.360 you have

00:27:18.140 several

00:27:19.140 continents

00:27:19.840 from

00:27:20.260 North

00:27:20.560 America

00:27:21.040 from

00:27:21.620 Africa

00:27:22.420 from

00:27:23.040 Asia

00:27:23.580 and

00:27:23.880 Europe

00:27:24.160 that is

00:27:24.580 a fact

00:27:25.160 and by

00:27:25.840 Asia

00:27:26.080 I'm referring

00:27:26.580 to Israel

00:27:27.080 so you've

00:27:27.820 been Asia

00:27:28.360 Europe

00:27:29.100 Africa

00:27:29.700 and North

00:27:30.400 America

00:27:30.840 on behalf

00:27:31.520 of the

00:27:32.300 rebel

00:27:32.500 that's

00:27:32.840 quite

00:27:33.260 something

00:27:34.180 and I

00:27:34.740 think

00:27:34.940 it's

00:27:35.180 been a

00:27:35.700 hoot 0.98

00:27:35.960 and I

00:27:36.460 thank you

00:27:36.880 for your

00:27:37.300 great

00:27:37.640 work

00:27:38.140 at the

00:27:38.460 rebel

00:27:38.700 for these

00:27:39.120 past

00:27:39.420 three

00:27:39.660 years

00:27:39.920 or so

00:27:40.300 and we're

00:27:40.940 coming up

00:27:41.280 on our

00:27:41.520 fourth

00:27:41.720 anniversary

00:27:42.140 in February

00:27:42.680 and we're

00:27:43.420 still living

00:27:44.000 we're still

00:27:44.720 kicking and

00:27:45.280 screaming 0.51

00:27:45.580 yeah

00:27:47.080 you know

00:27:47.540 Ezra I 0.67

00:27:48.000 just want to

00:27:48.420 thank you

00:27:48.760 for taking

00:27:49.240 a chance

00:27:49.780 on me

00:27:50.100 and I

00:27:50.320 want to

00:27:50.620 thank

00:27:50.860 everybody

00:27:51.180 at home

00:27:51.680 for helping

00:27:52.760 me get

00:27:53.220 to all

00:27:53.580 those places

00:27:54.080 and for

00:27:54.480 trusting me

00:27:55.060 to tell

00:27:55.400 the other

00:27:55.740 side of

00:27:56.080 the story

00:27:56.520 well that's

00:27:57.300 that's a

00:27:57.660 great way

00:27:58.020 to end it

00:27:58.380 because of

00:27:58.800 course all

00:27:59.180 those trips

00:27:59.660 they cost

00:28:00.080 money

00:28:00.360 we don't

00:28:01.040 have it

00:28:01.460 it comes

00:28:01.880 from our

00:28:02.240 viewers

00:28:02.540 we spend

00:28:03.520 it very

00:28:03.980 parsimoniously

00:28:05.020 flying economy

00:28:06.340 class and

00:28:06.880 you're very

00:28:07.460 very gentle
