Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey - Ep 1060 ｜ Gold Star Families Roast Kamala Harris

00:00:00.000 Kamala Harris attacked Donald Trump for honoring fallen heroes who died in the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, and the back and forth on that was truly stunning.

00:00:14.400 Also, she's got an economic proposal, price caps, but what does that actually mean and how would it affect our lives?

00:00:23.060 We've got all of this election-related, politics-related news on today's episode of Relatable, as well as much, much more.

00:00:32.160 This episode is brought to you by our friends at Good Ranchers. Go to GoodRanchers.com. Use code Allie at checkout. Go to Ranchers.com. Code Allie.

00:00:38.960 Hey, guys. Welcome to Relatable. Happy Tuesday. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. Hope you had a great Labor Day.

00:00:56.940 I am so ready for the fall. This is the time every year where I'm like, yes, cooler weather, warmer clothes, and then I remember that I live where I live.

00:01:09.880 And so it is the time, it is the season for what I like to call the fall costume, and that is where we decide here in the South that we are going to dress up for fall, even though our weather does not necessitate it.

00:01:26.280 We will go outside. It's 90 degrees, and we will wear the cowl neck. We will wear the scarf. We will wear the boots. We will wear the jeans.

00:01:35.340 I'm kind of already donning a fall costume, you see? This is like a sweater, even though it's short-sleeved.

00:01:40.940 I am already donning my fall costume because I refuse to continue to dress like it's summer because I'm so ready for the season change, knowing that I will not see 70 degrees until probably Christmas time.

00:01:54.460 So happy fall costume season to all of you who celebrate. All right. It's also the beginning of September, which means it is Share the Arrows Month.

00:02:04.940 Oh my goodness. I can't believe it. I can't believe it. September 28th. I am so excited, y'all. Okay. Let me tell you, I got to do all this.

00:02:12.660 Yep. You can see the graphic up there if you're watching on YouTube. I got to tell you a couple things about Share the Arrows.

00:02:17.620 So if you're new here, you don't know that Rosaria Butterfield, amazing apologist, author, theologian, just incredible.

00:02:24.460 Elisa Childers, another amazing apologist. Abby Halberstadt, amazing author, mom of 10, homeschooler, Grammy Award winning artist, Francesca Battistelli.

00:02:31.860 We're all going to be there. Plano, Texas, Prestonwood Baptist Church. Go to sharethearrows.com. It's September 28th.

00:02:38.060 And okay, I have some housekeeping things to say.

00:02:40.280 Number one, we've got an amazing speaker. Huge speaker. A lot of you guys have guessed her.

00:02:46.520 A lot of you guys have not, though. And I haven't announced yet. I can't announce yet.

00:02:51.280 But I think I'm going to announce this week. It's a really big deal. I can't believe that she agreed to be there with us at Share the Arrows.

00:02:59.120 So that's going to be announced this week. Use that to send it to your friends and say, you've got to come with me.

00:03:04.440 Send it to your sister, your cousin, any Christian woman in your life. 1.00

00:03:08.140 Tell her to come and to hear all of these amazing speakers. It's going to be so, so good.

00:03:12.180 So that's one. Look out for that. I will be announcing that very soon, probably in the next few days.

00:03:17.540 And then also, there's just this kind of logistical thing.

00:03:21.580 So we had no idea how many tickets we were going to sell.

00:03:26.160 I had a number in my head, but we are well past double what I thought that we actually met that goal in the first 48 hours.

00:03:35.160 And now we are double what I thought that we would ultimately sell.

00:03:38.720 And we're going to keep going because this venue, this church is really big.

00:03:42.820 So we've got some space.

00:03:44.200 But I'm letting you know that we have sold out all of the floor and the mezzanine seats.

00:03:50.720 So if you go to sharethearrows.com right now, you'll see that it says general admission is already sold out.

00:03:58.120 And that only balcony options are available.

00:04:02.080 And I just want you to know, though, that when you buy that balcony ticket, you are not buying a seat that's going to be like in the nosebleeds.

00:04:11.140 You're not going to be able to see. It's not going to be the same.

00:04:14.100 It's not going to be like that at all.

00:04:16.160 In this church in Prestonwood, like there is not a bad seat in the house.

00:04:20.340 Every single seat, you're going to be able to see.

00:04:23.600 It's going to be an amazing experience to be able to worship with these women.

00:04:27.900 Actually, I would say in the balcony, it's going to be even cooler.

00:04:30.500 Like when you've got Francesca Battistelli up on stage leading the worship for thousands and thousands of women,

00:04:37.080 and we are all singing in unison to Jesus.

00:04:40.020 When you're up on the balcony, you're going to be able to see all of that.

00:04:43.720 And man, like I kind of want to sit at the balcony.

00:04:45.920 I might actually, if I have time to sneak up there during worship, I'm probably going to stand on the balcony just so I can take it all in.

00:04:52.300 So balcony seating is available, and it's just important for logistics and for because there's not assigned seats for how everyone is going to be able to file in and sit down that we at least have some separation there.

00:05:04.620 So just FYI, when you go to sharethearrows.com, you will see that.

00:05:08.940 If you haven't signed up, come on, make it happen, whether you are local to the Dallas area or whether you are flying in, driving in.

00:05:16.740 We've got people coming from all over.

00:05:18.480 You can come by yourself.

00:05:19.900 You will make lifelong friends.

00:05:21.940 Also, you can come with friends and family.

00:05:25.240 I'll do like a Q&A, FAQ segment either on the show or on Instagram or something because a lot of you just have different questions, which is understandable, and I will do my best to answer all of them.

00:05:35.840 We've also got exclusive Carly Jean Los Angeles merchandise that is really, really cute, like so cute that's going to be sold there, and for those of you who bought your tickets early, you were able to access that merchandise already, and so you'll be able to rock it at the event.

00:05:51.800 Guys, I'm so excited.

00:05:54.120 I've been meeting with all of the speakers.

00:05:56.000 I've been talking with Francesca about the different songs.

00:05:59.180 We put so much into this, and it is all for you guys.

00:06:04.200 It's all for the Lord, obviously, first and foremost, and I just pray that it brings Him glory and that it solidifies the Christian women that are there, that it helps stabilize us and reminds us of what is good, right, and true, and that we are not alone, and that because of Christ, we are on the right side.

00:06:23.860 You are going to feel so empowered and equipped after this, so go to sharethearrows.com.

00:06:28.740 Also, if you love this podcast, please leave us a review.

00:06:32.480 A five-star review would be so appreciated on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

00:06:37.740 It would mean so much.

00:06:39.120 All right.

00:06:39.680 We've got a lot to get into today.

00:06:42.100 I'm going to try to speed through it as much as I can while still being thorough because we are in an election season.

00:06:48.100 The rest of this year is just going to be crazy.

00:06:51.280 There's going to be good, bad, and ugly, and I'm going to do my best to break it down and to remind us that politics matter because policy matters because people matter.

00:06:58.740 Without ever pushing us into a state of anxiety or panic thinking, oh my gosh, the world is coming to an end because actually that day has already been ordained by the God who controls all of it.

00:07:12.700 But while we are in this physical, temporal context, while we are citizens of America, we do have to care about what is going on.

00:07:20.580 So we're going to do our best here on Relatable to balance all of that.

00:07:24.500 Before we talk about the first bit of that, that dynamic that I just explained, let me go ahead and pause.

00:07:31.460 I'll tell you about our first sponsor for the day, and it's Carly Jean Los Angeles. 0.77

00:07:34.900 I just told you they're going to be in Dallas.

00:07:38.300 They're going to be at the Share the Arrows event.

00:07:41.280 There's going to be a whole booth there for you to buy the merchandise.

00:07:44.560 I think they're doing a Dallas meetup actually a couple days before the event too.

00:07:48.000 Um, so check that out.

00:07:50.340 Y'all know how much I love CJLA.

00:07:52.800 I am always wearing their clothes.

00:07:55.160 And so they were just, it was so obvious to me that I was like, yes, I want them to be the title sponsor.

00:08:00.300 I want them to be a huge part of this event.

00:08:02.760 I love Carly and her family.

00:08:04.480 They're the real deal.

00:08:05.800 They are Christians who are unashamed of their faith and their pro-life values.

00:08:10.440 And they also make amazing clothes.

00:08:13.440 I love all of the jeans from Carly Jean Los Angeles.

00:08:16.120 I love all of their clothing items that I wear in all seasons of the year.

00:08:20.400 Their denim is my absolute favorite.

00:08:23.000 They are still doing this buy one, get one free deal right now for first time CJLA denim purchasers.

00:08:30.880 So if you've never gotten jeans from Carly Jean Los Angeles, go to CarlyJeanLosAngeles.com.

00:08:36.300 Use code Allie's Free Jeans. 1.00

00:08:38.780 It's buy one, get one free.

00:08:40.280 How amazing is that?

00:08:41.580 CarlyJeanLosAngeles.com.

00:08:43.160 Code Allie's Free Jeans. 1.00

00:08:48.340 I wanted to start by mentioning Hirsch Goldberg Poland.

00:08:52.260 He is the American Israeli who was a hostage held by Hamas.

00:08:57.820 You can see his picture right there if you're watching on YouTube.

00:09:01.260 And it has just been reported that he was brutally murdered by Hamas.

00:09:06.440 So I'll give you a little bit of a summary as provided by CNN.

00:09:10.280 In the New York Post, Israel's military said it has discovered the bodies of six hostages killed by Hamas militants in Gaza, including an Israeli-American captive.

00:09:20.280 They were murdered as Israeli defense forces, the IDF, closed in for a rescue attempt in the tunnels deep below Gaza.

00:09:29.080 That in and of itself just shows a level of cruelty that is incomprehensible.

00:09:36.120 Israel launched its war against Hamas in Gaza after the terrorist group attacked Israel on October 7th.

00:09:42.680 I know most of you know those details, but all of us kind of have our own little silos and we have our own lives.

00:09:50.480 And thank the Lord we have so much peace here.

00:09:52.580 So it's easy to forget how significant this was and how absolutely traumatizing this has been both for Jews here in the United States who have felt the reverberating effects of anti-Semitism on college campuses and in several different subsets of American culture, but also, of course, for Israelis themselves.

00:10:18.060 I mean, it's even hard to believe that that really happened, that Hamas terrorists actually paraglided into a music festival and raped and maimed and tortured and murdered and kidnapped innocent people.

00:10:33.580 And that you actually had people here, still have people here in the United States who say that Israel's defense of its own people, of its own country, its efforts to rescue the hostages, its retaliation against the terroristic regime of Hamas is somehow uncalled for or disproportionate.

00:10:55.000 I mean, just people's sense of morality is completely warped.

00:11:00.680 And that's not to say that I want to defend or justify every choice that has ever been made by Israel or the IDF.

00:11:08.200 I don't really know anyone who has done that.

00:11:10.520 That's certainly not what I'm saying.

00:11:12.460 And I don't want to minimize the loss of life in Palestine either. 0.99

00:11:16.520 Of course, there are Palestinian Christians who have been so deeply affected by this.

00:11:22.920 There have been children.

00:11:23.780 There have been babies who have had to bear the brunt of violence.

00:11:27.460 But the fault of that or the responsibility for all of those things really rests on Hamas. 0.60

00:11:36.480 It's not like Israel started attacking Palestine out of nowhere.

00:11:40.420 If Hamas didn't want its people to have to deal, endure this violence, deal with this violence, then they shouldn't have attacked innocent Israelis at a music festival.

00:11:53.820 They should have made a better decision.

00:11:57.240 But of course, Hamas doesn't care about its own people. 0.72

00:11:59.940 It's never cared about its own people.

00:12:01.680 That's why they hide themselves in hospitals and under schools.

00:12:06.120 They don't care about the innocent children that, of course, are the primary victims of this kind of war.

00:12:13.580 So a little bit more about this American, Israeli-American, Hirsch Goldberg, Poland.

00:12:19.460 He was taken at gunpoint at the Nova Music Festival on October 7th.

00:12:23.700 He lost part of his left arm to a grenade and the attack.

00:12:27.360 And then he was, of course, kidnapped and held hostage.

00:12:32.120 The parents of this 23-year-old have been among the most vocal of the hostage families pushing Netanyahu to seek a hostage release deal with Hamas.

00:12:41.540 Of course, Netanyahu and the United States have reportedly been working on different kinds of deals in order to guarantee their release.

00:12:51.520 This is very disconcerting.

00:12:53.020 I think as an American, we have this idea that if you are an American and you are held hostage by any nation, by any regime, that your government is going to move heaven and earth to come rescue you.

00:13:07.960 Because that is who America is.

00:13:11.000 And yet we have these American hostages that are languishing and a hostage like this, who, of course, will never see his family, will never taste freedom again.

00:13:24.020 His parents also gave an address at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

00:13:29.260 They were met with at least ostensibly a lot of a lot of support there.

00:13:34.220 The hostages who were found murdered have been identified not only as Goldberg, Poland, but also, I don't know how to pronounce all of their names, Eden Yerushalmi, Ori Danino, Alex Lobanov, Carmel Gutt, and Almag Sarusi.

00:13:52.300 In a taped message Sunday, Netanyahu said that he had been shocked by this.

00:13:57.020 He said three months ago on May 27th, Israel agreed to a hostage release deal with the full backing of the U.S.

00:14:02.680 Hamas. Hamas refused.

00:14:05.040 And so he's asking, like, are we supposed to are we supposed to keep negotiating with these people?

00:14:10.660 He says, are we supposed to show seriousness?

00:14:14.440 And then President Biden, he had his own statement where he honored Hirsch and he said, I've worked tirelessly to bring their beloved Hirsch safely to them.

00:14:24.000 And I'm heartbroken by the news of his death.

00:14:26.200 We will keep working around the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages.

00:14:31.200 And then he also, in a statement, criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

00:14:36.840 He said that he's basically not doing enough.

00:14:40.200 CNN asked on Monday whether Biden thought that he was Netanyahu was sufficiently working to reach an agreement.

00:14:47.200 And Biden said simply, no.

00:14:49.840 Vice President Harris said that the POTUS and I met with the met with the U.S. hostage deal negotiation team.

00:15:00.920 And then the murder of Hirsch, Goldberg, Poland and five other hostages was brutal, barbaric act.

00:15:07.660 And then she says something very contradictory, I think.

00:15:11.620 She said Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes.

00:15:14.240 And then she says it is long past time for a ceasefire and hostage deal. 0.95

00:15:19.280 And, you know, someone pointed out that this is completely hypocritical. 0.95

00:15:24.180 Jesse Arm, director of external affairs and presidential initiatives at the Manhattan Institute, says that her statement is lunatic and incoherent. 0.91

00:15:31.400 How can Hamas leaders pay for these crimes if it is long past time for a ceasefire? 0.68

00:15:35.820 Palestinian leadership butchered six hostages, including an American citizen, because rescuers were approaching.

00:15:41.260 We need a lethal response, not a white flag. 0.67

00:15:45.060 Tim Walls, for his part, he responded like this at the Minnesota State Fair.

00:15:52.620 Sot one. 0.58

00:15:53.080 I mean, he obviously heard this reporter because he looks straight at her and it gets quiet.

00:16:11.260 She asks her question and then he looks away and he walks away.

00:16:14.880 Now, this is because there is a large Muslim population in Minnesota.

00:16:19.420 And I think he's honestly scared of them in a lot of ways.

00:16:23.240 And the sad truth is, like, we like to separate the Muslim population in the United States from what's happening in Palestine and those who support Hamas. 0.96

00:16:31.380 But it seems, at least from what we've seen, by and large, I'm not saying all, but by and large, the Muslim population here in the United States and in Europe does support what Hamas did on October 7th. 0.56

00:16:45.640 And generally believes that Israel is not a rightful state, doesn't really have a right to be there.

00:16:50.980 Again, I'm not saying 100 percent of Muslims here in the United States, but obviously there are enough of them, especially the Somali Muslim population. 1.00

00:16:59.680 There are enough of them to make politicians on the far left, like Tim Walls, scared to say anything as basic as, yeah, we need to rescue the hostages.

00:17:11.100 I am devastated by this.

00:17:13.280 And my thoughts and prayers go to his family.

00:17:15.780 I mean, he could have said anything.

00:17:17.200 He looked this reporter in the eye and could not muster up an ounce of compassion or dignity for this 23-year-old American that was murdered by a terrorist regime.

00:17:29.940 Like, just sit for a fact and think about how significant that is.

00:17:34.500 Trey Yinkst, he's from Fox News, and he is chief foreign correspondent, and he has been reporting on this war since October 7th.

00:17:46.100 He says, Hamas is ratcheting up the pressure on Israel's psychological warfare at a level not seen since the start of the war.

00:17:55.340 Bill Ackman, there's 84,000 likes on this post.

00:18:00.320 He goes through why he thinks President Biden and Kamala Harris are really to blame.

00:18:05.640 He points this out, which I think is significant.

00:18:08.460 He says, consider what pressure, if any, the U.S. has brought to bear on Hamas and our friends in the region who harbor Hamas's leadership.

00:18:16.920 Why has our leadership adopted this failed strategy?

00:18:19.960 Because POTUS, Biden, who has been on vacation for 16 days, that's true, and Kamala Harris,

00:18:25.960 who also just skipped a ceremony at Arlington Cemetery to honor 13 fallen soldiers,

00:18:32.120 believe they will lose important votes in certain key swing states from Hamas supporters on campuses.

00:18:38.680 And that is what it is.

00:18:40.900 Now, I also think that Kamala Harris is, she is at least rhetorically, and Biden too,

00:18:46.900 rhetorically, they are supporting Israel in most ways, except then they'll also say,

00:18:54.500 oh, there needs to be a ceasefire there, as if like both sides are equally to blame.

00:18:59.620 And so they're trying to be as politically strategic as possible.

00:19:02.840 But that just tells you what a gross place we've gotten in America,

00:19:07.340 that there are people in the United States that they have to cater to that think, 0.98

00:19:12.280 oh, yeah, you know what, like paragliding into a music festival and raping and murdering a bunch

00:19:19.600 of young women was a justified response to Israel just existing in the region, like that those are 0.99

00:19:26.260 votes that you actually have to care about in the United States if you are a Democrat, not if you're

00:19:31.000 a Republican. That's a really, really troublesome and disturbing reality that we live in. The Babylon

00:19:38.800 B, I think, summed it up nicely. They say touching Biden built sandcastle to honor murdered American

00:19:46.180 hostage because, of course, he is chilling at the beach. The only place I think cognitively he is

00:19:51.840 actually equipped to be. There's more on this general subject as Trump paid tribute to service

00:20:01.040 members killed in Afghanistan while Biden continued to play in the sand at the beach in Kamala

00:20:08.580 Harris was nowhere to be found. And the reaction to all of this was, I thought that it was stunning.

00:20:17.440 So I'll get to that in just a second. Let me pause and tell you about WeHeart Nutrition. Y'all,

00:20:21.900 I absolutely love WeHeart Nutrition and all their supplements. I take their postnatal vitamin,

00:20:26.680 their omega-3s. I take their magnesium, their iron supplement. I have always had low iron for as long

00:20:32.860 as I can remember. Every time I get blood work back, I've got a doctor telling me,

00:20:36.780 you're low in iron. And I'm like, I don't know what else to do. I eat red meat. I take my iron

00:20:43.720 supplement. I've taken all different kinds of iron supplements. This time, I just got blood work done

00:20:48.920 by a functional medicine doctor. And she said, wow, your iron levels are perfect. They're optimal.

00:20:55.060 First time in my life I've ever heard that. The only thing I can think that's changed is that I

00:20:59.340 started taking my iron supplement and all the rest of my vitamins from WeHeart Nutrition at the

00:21:04.520 beginning of the year. It's been a total game changer for my health. And I'm just so thankful

00:21:09.000 for them, unapologetically Christian and pro-life. You can go to WeHeartNutrition.com,

00:21:14.120 take a 20-second quiz. They'll personalize your supplement regimen just for you. This is a great

00:21:20.980 company to work with, and you will not be sorry that you made the switch to them. Go to

00:21:25.080 WeHeartNutrition.com. Use code Allie. You'll get 20% off your order. WeHeartNutrition.com, code Allie.

00:21:30.880 So this weekend, President Donald Trump honored the 13 service members who died in the botched

00:21:40.960 Afghanistan withdrawal three years ago Monday. So last Monday, it was August 26th. He joined the

00:21:47.260 families of three of the fallen for a private event at Arlington National Cemetery. And as I said,

00:21:53.160 President Biden stayed away from the White House for the second week in a row vacationing. And Kamala

00:21:59.680 Harris was apparently just at home and decided not to join, even though both of them were reportedly

00:22:07.160 invited just as President Trump was. President Trump was, as I just said, invited by the families.

00:22:14.780 Remember that. That's an important fact as we break this all down. The media criticized him

00:22:21.580 for taking campaign photos there, for using it to gain popularity with voters. But that is not what

00:22:31.100 happened. These families called President Trump, just as they called Kamala Harris and President Biden

00:22:38.060 and said, please come help us honor our loved ones who fell in Afghanistan. And only Donald Trump

00:22:45.740 showed up. So Trump laid wreaths in honor of Marine Sergeant Nicole Gee and Staff Sergeant Darren Hoover,

00:22:53.000 as well as Army Staff Sergeant Ryan Nouse. This is another one of those events that happened and people

00:22:58.900 talked about it for a while. And then we all kind of moved on. Like, do we remember how absolutely

00:23:03.720 disastrous that was and how unnecessary the loss of life was? And like, when we look at Afghanistan now,

00:23:10.880 the law that just passed for women there, they cannot show any part of their body that their voice 1.00

00:23:17.000 cannot be heard in public. And we are actually funding since this disastrous Afghanistan pullout,

00:23:24.380 we are actually funding through our tax dollars, the Taliban that is now just brutally oppressing 0.66

00:23:31.920 women. And do we hear, by the way, talks of the handmaid's tale going on over there? No,

00:23:38.400 like we're supposed to believe that Donald Trump is going to be the one to bring in the handmaid's

00:23:43.360 tale. I mean, this I saw a tweet saying this, like Donald Trump is the guy that literally hosted

00:23:49.120 like bikini contests like 20 years ago. We think he's going to be the one to force women to wear hijabs 1.00

00:23:56.400 here in the United States. He's going to be the one ushering in the handmaid's tale. Those people who

00:24:02.580 say that they're so worried about Project 2025 and what it's going to do to women's rights,

00:24:07.700 they have nothing to say about our tax dollars funding the Taliban that is actually oppressing,

00:24:13.920 subjugating and dehumanizing women in very tangible ways. So Trump was there honoring these 0.58

00:24:21.280 fallen heroes three years after losing their loved ones. Many of the Gold Star families are still

00:24:25.540 calling for accountability for the attack, enraged that no military or other government officials lost

00:24:31.260 their jobs over the disastrous withdrawal. Of course, that's not how our cakeistocracy works.

00:24:35.840 That's not how our bureaucracy works. You get to fail upward as long as you toe the line on

00:24:40.520 progressive ideology. Just ask Anthony Fauci. Many also criticized Biden for his lack of concern and

00:24:45.940 even acknowledgement of those killed, particularly during the dignified transfer of the bodies.

00:24:52.580 Following Trump's appearance at the Arlington ceremony, Kamala Harris slammed Trump for allegedly

00:24:56.740 politicizing the troops and claimed he disrespected sacred ground. Now, I just want you to notice

00:25:03.860 what's happening. She is criticizing Donald Trump for politicizing the ceremony when Donald Trump

00:25:09.620 himself did not bring up politics there. He didn't say anything about the campaign. He didn't say

00:25:17.460 anything about Biden. He was just there receiving the invitation, accepting the invitation, honoring these

00:25:24.800 fallen heroes. And it's Kamala Harris here who actually uses it as a way to punch him in her campaign. 1.00

00:25:33.860 Through her campaign, she said this on August 31st. She said, as the vice president, I've had the

00:25:39.620 privilege of visiting Arlington National Cemetery several times. It's a solemn place, a place where

00:25:45.100 we can come together and honor American heroes. My question is, OK, where were you? And then she goes

00:25:50.240 through all of these things that Donald Trump has supposedly done and said over the years that has

00:25:54.580 been disrespectful. She says, this is a man who is unable to comprehend anything other than service to

00:26:00.960 himself. There is one thing on which we as Americans can all agree. It is that our veterans, military

00:26:05.920 families and service members should be honored, never disparaged and treated with nothing less than

00:26:09.440 our highest respect and gratitude, which is exactly what he did. Laughable, by the way, for her to say

00:26:14.660 that he is someone who only serves himself. That is what Kamala Harris has literally done

00:26:18.840 her entire career. I mean, I know we've talked about Willie Brown and I'm not even coming at it from

00:26:24.820 like the promiscuity, immorality angle because we know Donald Trump has his own stuff. But as a 29

00:26:30.940 year old, she literally used Willie Brown, who was a married man with three children, gave him sexual

00:26:36.640 favors in exchange for political power. That is a woman who is only in service to herself. 1.00

00:26:43.180 And that's what her entire career has been. She is now married to a man who had an affair with his

00:26:48.980 children's nanny while he was married and got her pregnant. So that's who Doug Imhoff and Kamala

00:26:55.680 Harris are. They are people who are only in service to themselves. Now, you could say you could say your

00:27:01.320 criticisms about Donald Trump, but she certainly has no moral high ground. She has no place to

00:27:06.980 criticize Donald Trump for being self-serving in any way. She's just jealous that she decided to make

00:27:13.780 this misstep that she was not there to honor these fallen soldiers, even though she had the choice to

00:27:21.580 be. So she posted this on X. And then, of course, Donald Trump hit back. And I thought that his strategy

00:27:31.060 for hitting back at Kamala Harris was absolutely perfect. It was disciplined. He didn't use his own

00:27:37.980 words. Instead, he used the words of the Gold Star families. He used the words of the family members

00:27:45.560 whose loved ones fell unnecessarily on that day, who had something to say to Kamala Harris after her

00:27:55.040 completely unjustified criticism. So one after the other, he quote tweeted or quote posted. I don't know

00:28:04.340 how you say it in X language now. Her critical tweet with a video of one member of one family member

00:28:16.540 whose loved one had died. And after all of this, the Trump campaign, the Trump team put their videos

00:28:24.860 into one compilation. And here's what that sounds like. So two. My daughter-in-law, Sergeant Nicole

00:28:31.840 Leanne G. was killed in the Afghanistan exit at Abbey Gate. Our kids were murdered because of your 0.97

00:28:41.080 administration. You are not at Dover for the dignified transfer. And no time have you reached

00:28:46.680 out to me to offer your condolences, to offer thank you for Kareem's sacrifice and service.

00:28:53.180 You have 13 families who have been waiting over three years to so much as get a phone call,

00:28:59.720 there's so much as hear our kids' names. Settle out. You failed for three years and eight months

00:29:06.280 to acknowledge our kids. Where were you and Joe Biden on August 26, 2024?

00:29:14.600 Nowhere near Arlington Cemetery.

00:29:18.980 Really, really powerful. And there's more. You could go to Donald Trump's X page. Remember,

00:29:23.660 he's posting back on X now, formerly Twitter, and you can watch all of their videos. They're

00:29:29.880 really powerful. They also released a letter of support for Trump's presence at Arlington

00:29:37.360 National Cemetery. They said he was there to honor their sacrifice. Yet Vice President Harris has

00:29:43.280 disgracefully twisted this sacred moment into a political ploy. Despite our request for a meeting

00:29:48.480 to discuss the loss of our loved ones, Vice President Harris has repeatedly ignored us,

00:29:53.300 showing a complete lack of empathy and accountability. Her actions, both in the failure

00:29:58.020 of the Afghanistan withdrawal and in her disgraceful politicization of this anniversary,

00:30:03.780 have shown that she lacks the judgment, compassion, and leadership required for Commander-in-Chief.

00:30:10.280 Wow. Wow. That is very, very powerful and good for Trump for allowing them to use their words

00:30:19.780 because they speak volumes. Now, obviously, you've got the left-wing media running cover for

00:30:25.600 Kamala Harris. They're trying to give her an excuse saying what happened didn't really happen. And no,

00:30:31.540 it was still President Trump who was acting inappropriately here. So I'll get into that in just a

00:30:36.880 second. Let me tell you about our third sponsor. And that is Preborn. If you are looking for a way

00:30:42.320 to get involved in the pro-life movement that can help real women and children, you can know exactly

00:30:48.980 where your money is going, then donate to Preborn. Preborn is a network of clinics that provides free

00:30:55.060 resources to pregnant women in need across the country. And one of the first things that they do if

00:31:01.120 a pregnant woman comes in and she's trying to find more information about adoption or parenting, 0.65

00:31:06.140 or she just wants to confirm if she's pregnant, if she's far enough along, they will provide her with

00:31:10.920 an ultrasound. And when a pregnant woman sees her little baby on that sonogram screen, she hears the

00:31:17.600 beating heart. She sees their fully formed little body as small as it might be. And she realizes,

00:31:26.140 oh my gosh, this is not just a clump of cells. Like this is a human being that is depending on me for

00:31:31.820 life, she is so much more likely to choose life for her baby. And so do what you can to partner with

00:31:39.420 Preborn to help them provide these free sonograms that save so many lives. If you go to preborn.com

00:31:45.280 slash Allie, I recommend donating $28 because that covers the cost of an ultrasound, but donate 0.99

00:31:51.280 whatever you can, whether it's $5 or maybe it's $5,000. You can save lives either way. Go to

00:31:57.840 preborn.com slash Allie. On Sunday, Senator Tom Cotton, he is a Republican senator from Arkansas.

00:32:08.720 He appeared on Meet the Press with Kristen Welker and she questioned him about Trump's appearance

00:32:14.780 at Arlington. Welker claimed that both Harris and Biden had previously met with the Gold Star families

00:32:20.720 during the dignified transfer of their bodies in 2021. But that was actually not true. And NBC

00:32:27.820 had to post after that appearance, after that false statement, this, they said on our broadcast

00:32:34.620 this morning, we incorrectly implied that both President Biden and Vice President Harris attended

00:32:38.180 the dignified transfer of the 13 American service members killed during Afghanistan withdrawal. Biden was

00:32:43.180 in attendance, but Harris was not. Stunning. Absolutely stunning that she wasn't there. Wow.

00:32:50.080 Now, here is how Cotton, Senator Cotton, responded to this. Stop three.

00:32:56.880 Senator, is it ever appropriate to make campaign content at military gravesites?

00:33:01.860 He didn't take campaign photos there. These families, Gold Star families whose children died

00:33:07.340 because of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's incompetence, invited him to the cemetery. And

00:33:12.820 they asked him to take those photos. You know who the families also invited? Joe Biden and Kamala

00:33:17.580 Harris. Where were they? Joe Biden was sitting at a beach. Kamala Harris was sitting at her mansion

00:33:22.100 in Washington, D.C. She was four miles away, 10 minutes. She could have gone to the cemetery and

00:33:27.260 honored the sacrifice of those young men and women. But she hasn't. She never has spoken to them or

00:33:33.640 taken a meeting with them. It's because of her. They did meet with them during the dignified transfer.

00:33:37.140 It's because of her. There she is trying to repeat that lie. Oh, man. Think about that. Think about 0.73

00:33:44.740 what kind of person you have to be, what kind of politician that you have to be, how much compassion

00:33:48.500 you have to lack. You know, there's so much talk about her being this joyful, empathetic, compassionate

00:33:53.820 person and Trump being so mean and hateful. You'll remember that when we covered the evangelicals for

00:34:01.340 Harris, Latasha Morrison said that she was looking at the two platforms and she saw that Harris and her

00:34:07.300 policies demonstrated meekness and compassion, the fruit of the spirit. I actually think that she said

00:34:12.600 the Beatitudes and that, of course, Trump and his policies are devoid of any mercy. And of course, actually

00:34:19.900 the exact opposite is true. Now, I'm not saying that Trump is always this lovey-dovey guy, but how many

00:34:27.280 stories do we hear? It seems like there's a new story every few months of someone from Trump's past

00:34:33.040 saying, yeah, you know, I was a nobody and Trump paid attention to me. He helped pay my bills. He

00:34:39.320 was kind to me when no one else would show me kindness, when I was helping build Trump Tower or

00:34:44.680 whatever it was. Some employee in one of his huge organizations has a story about a conversation that

00:34:53.920 he had with Trump when Trump showed him generosity and kindness. There was one of you who reached out

00:35:00.660 to me. I might have already told this story. You have a family member who owns a company in Ohio,

00:35:08.560 and he had donated to Trump a couple times, not, you know, a billionaire, but had just supported

00:35:14.900 Trump's campaign. And he had had a couple interactions with Trump. And when Trump got word that this man's

00:35:21.380 wife had died from cancer, Trump called this man to offer his condolences and to have a thorough

00:35:27.720 conversation with him about this. I have heard so many stories of Trump just like that. I know that he's

00:35:35.620 not as disciplined as he should be with his words. I know that he's said things that are demeaning that

00:35:40.820 certainly I don't agree with. But I actually do think that he is a compassionate, loving guy. And I think you

00:35:48.640 see that reflected in the admiration of his children and his grandchildren. Now contrast that to Kamala

00:35:55.020 Harris. Kamala Harris, this person that we are told is the source of all joy and generosity. Have you ever

00:36:01.020 heard a story about Kamala Harris from her past where she has some friend or a former roommate or a

00:36:06.660 former colleague or a former employee come out and say, let me tell you about the real Kamala Harris.

00:36:11.880 She is sweet. She is kind. Let me tell you about the charity that she showed me. Let me tell you

00:36:18.460 about the time that she showed me generosity when she didn't have to, when she demonstrated grace,

00:36:24.940 when she could have been cruel. I have never heard that story. I've only heard the opposite.

00:36:30.500 I've only heard the stories of vengefulness. I've only heard the stories about how she is terrible 1.00

00:36:36.000 to work with as vice president, as district attorney of San Francisco, as attorney general

00:36:41.560 of California. You only hear those stories and even those rumors of just how she is so hard to deal 0.92

00:36:49.340 with and hard to work with as a person. You know, if there were stories of her compassion and grace

00:36:53.960 somewhere from her past, we would have heard them. They would be heralded from the rooftops by the media

00:36:58.960 who are looking for every opportunity to say that she is this compassionate, kind person. I'm telling you,

00:37:04.400 as I've said for weeks and weeks now, she is mean. And I'm not just talking about her policies,

00:37:10.620 although that matters most to me because that's what's going to affect our lives and affect the

00:37:15.820 trajectory of the country most. Of course, those are mean. I mean, she's bloodthirsty. She voted against 1.00

00:37:20.440 the Born Alive Infant Survivors Protection Act that just guaranteed the right of babies born after

00:37:25.800 abortion, surviving abortions to health care. She voted no on that. So of course, she's cruel policy-wise. 1.00

00:37:31.320 She's very bloodthirsty. She always has been forcing pregnancy centers in California through 1.00

00:37:36.200 the FACT Act to advertise for abortion overturned by the Supreme Court. She doesn't care one bit about 0.96

00:37:41.360 your freedom or your First Amendment rights at all. That is obvious. You can ask David Delighted about

00:37:46.720 that. So she's mean policy-wise, but I'm telling you, she is a mean person. And if there were evidence 0.98

00:37:54.000 to the contrary, we would have heard it already. Instead, we just need this—we have this media

00:38:00.280 manufactured persona of who she is, and they're trying to tell us that Trump is actually the

00:38:05.760 opposite of who he is. Again, I'm not saying that Trump exemplifies all the Beatitudes either. That's

00:38:11.360 actually the difference between the right and the left, Democrats and Republicans. We don't feel the

00:38:16.260 need to say that Donald Trump is Jesus or that he's even like Jesus. We don't feel the need to idolize

00:38:21.500 him or to pretend that he's something that he's not. And yes, yet you hear this ridiculous language 0.96

00:38:25.640 from the left that Kamala Harris isn't just the next best option or the lesser of two evils. Like,

00:38:31.520 obviously, I would disagree with that, but I would understand where they're coming from. You

00:38:34.600 literally hear from professing evangelicals that Kamala Harris is like Jesus. Oh, my goodness. 0.99

00:38:42.680 The Delulu, the idolatry that goes into that. And they're the very same people that say that we on

00:38:48.480 the right are vying for power, that we're hungry for the handmaid's tale, that we're the ones that

00:38:53.880 want some takeover of empire, yada, yada, yada. Dude, you are literally comparing this abortion fiend 0.99

00:39:03.280 Kamala Harris to Jesus Christ, okay? It is time for you to assess your own heart, my friend.

00:39:12.020 New York Times also running cover for Kamala Harris here. Here's the headline. This is a variation

00:39:18.420 of Republicans' pounce, that meme. Trump campaign uses statements from Gold Star families to attack

00:39:24.580 Harris. It was the latest effort by the Trump campaign to defend itself after the campaign

00:39:29.680 defied a ban on political campaigning at Arlington National Cemetery. I mean, that is some expert

00:39:36.600 level propagandistic finagling of what actually happened. As you heard Senator Cotton say, like,

00:39:43.100 he wasn't campaigning there. He received the invitation. He accepted the invitation. He did

00:39:48.940 what the families wanted them to do. And then it was Kamala Harris who actually used that to campaign 1.00

00:39:55.760 for herself. And you'll also remember that Biden actually did use a Memorial Day, a Memorial Day

00:40:06.940 honoring of our veterans for his campaign video for a campaign video in 2020. So on May 25th, 2020,

00:40:19.720 when he was campaigning, Biden included a photo of himself and his wife at the graveside

00:40:24.540 of a military member. This picture is from 2010, when then Vice President Biden took part in a wreath

00:40:31.940 ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns and spoke to the Memorial Amphitheater at Arlington Cemetery.

00:40:37.780 At the end, it says, Biden President, text Joe to 30330, paid for by Biden for President. So he actually

00:40:44.780 did use a very solemn moment honoring the lives of the fallen to campaign for President in 2020. Now,

00:40:54.440 maybe the New York Times had their panties in a wad about that too. Somehow, I doubt it. Okay,

00:41:01.480 I want to quickly go through this Kamala Harris interview that she gave with Dana Bash on CNN.

00:41:07.340 You've probably heard it covered a lot. So I really just want to highlight one bit of hypocrisy to show

00:41:12.020 you again who Kamala Harris is. The interview was it was pre-recorded. It was shot around a table in a

00:41:18.720 Savannah coffee shop in the swing state of Georgia. I can't believe we're even saying swing state of

00:41:23.200 Georgia. That's just sad. That's so sad. And she was right next to Governor Tim Walls, of course,

00:41:28.620 her running mate. It was a pre-recorded interview. It was 27 minutes. They aired 27 minutes. Now,

00:41:38.120 they first said that it was cut down a lot. They first said that it was like a two-hour conversation

00:41:43.600 that they cut down to 27 minutes. Now they're saying that they aired the interview in its entirety. I

00:41:49.440 don't believe that. I just don't believe that they aired the entire interview. Harris has received

00:41:55.240 criticism for her lack of proposed policies and changing the policies she previously supported

00:41:59.420 to appeal to voters in the middle. And to credit Dana Bash, she did ask her about this. So Kamala

00:42:09.280 says my values have not changed. Here's top four. Dana, I think the most important and most significant

00:42:16.260 aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed. You mentioned the Green New

00:42:23.880 Deal. I have always believed, and I have worked on it, that the climate crisis is real, that it is an

00:42:32.120 urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time.

00:42:39.720 My value around what we need to do to secure our border, that value is not changing.

00:42:44.720 Okay, so she said that she hasn't changed. She has not changed her values when it comes to the climate

00:42:50.460 and when it comes to the border. Well, here she is in 2020 saying that she wants to ban fracking for the 0.87

00:43:02.160 climate. Sot five. There's no question I'm in favor of banning fracking. Okay, and here is Sot six.

00:43:09.860 Do you still want to ban fracking? No, and I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020.

00:43:15.480 So she's obviously gone back and forth there. Now, in this interview, she also says that there

00:43:22.420 needs to be consequences for illegal aliens crossing the border, but here's what she said

00:43:30.160 just a few years ago. Sot seven. Favor of saying that we're not going to treat people who are 1.00

00:43:35.760 undocumented across the border as criminals. That's correct. That is. Okay, so her values haven't 0.90

00:43:41.600 changed, but she wants to ban fracking. It's kind of a big deal in places like Pennsylvania, 0.96

00:43:47.480 but she doesn't want to ban fracking. Her values haven't changed, but she wants to decriminalize 0.99

00:43:53.760 illegal border crossings. But she also believes now apparently that there should be consequences

00:43:58.720 for border crossings. Now, I think we can just look at her actions as vice president, as border czar,

00:44:05.400 which she undoubtedly was, to see what she really believes, at least about immigration. She also

00:44:11.080 helped work on the Green New Deal, as she said in the CNN interview. So we can look at her actions.

00:44:16.140 Like, we know that she's a radical on both of these things. She is an open borders radical.

00:44:22.020 Lake and Riley's death is at least in part because of Kamala Harris and the actions that she has refused

00:44:29.200 to take as someone who was in charge of the border. Did she even visit the border as borders are? I mean,

00:44:35.360 that is one of the most pressing issues. Civilizationally existential, the issue of

00:44:43.080 immigration. She has absolutely failed, and it has led to the loss of lives. And she's saying, 1.00

00:44:51.700 vote for me. You should definitely keep me in this job. Definitely keep me in the White House,

00:44:58.320 even though I've shown you that I don't even care about the sovereignty of our country.

00:45:01.960 Well, she says now that she has a solution for our economic woes, economics and immigration. Those 0.99

00:45:10.820 are the two big issues that most Americans care about. They direct our lives every day or affect

00:45:16.360 our lives every day, rather. And they certainly go hand in hand. Wait till you hear what she says

00:45:21.280 she's going to do to make inflation definitely totally go down a whole lot. Okay, let me tell you

00:46:08.660 going to make your life more affordable. She is going to ease the burden of inflation by implementing 0.84

00:46:16.520 this new amazing never tried before concept of price controls. That's right. She says that she

00:46:24.820 is going to first provide free cash to those buying a home for the first time. Of course, there's no

00:46:29.700 such thing as free cash. That's just more spending that is going to exacerbate inflation even more,

00:46:35.780 as well as for lower and middle income families having children, in addition to her controversial plan 0.99

00:46:43.720 to fix prices on groceries. So this was during her campaign speech in North Carolina. Harris promised

00:46:49.640 to pass the first ever federal ban on price gouging. And again, that sounds good. These

00:46:55.300 corporations that are raising prices more than they need to, more than it is than they are required to

00:47:01.840 to make up for inflation on their ends. Like, yeah, we feel like we want those companies to be punished

00:47:08.440 for that. And so someone who comes out and says, I'm going to make sure that they can no longer price

00:47:14.560 gouge and they can't make things too expensive for you. It can sound really good. But the problem is,

00:47:22.160 is that that doesn't work. It's been tried many, many times before in many socialist countries,

00:47:26.800 even right here in the United States in the inflationary stage of the 1970s. And it has never

00:47:33.040 worked. USA Today is even saying as much. Trump has been calling her comrade Kamala because of this,

00:47:39.500 because this is a communistic proposal. And he's kind of playing on that. So USA Today says Trump's

00:47:45.120 comrade Kamala until it is a bit much, but price controls really are an awful idea. It says price

00:47:53.020 controls have been tried in various forms around the world for centuries. They always fail. Harris is

00:47:58.640 trying to deflect from the pain of high inflation during the Biden-Harris administration. She's also

00:48:02.960 trying to deflect any blame for the administration's role in it. They do acknowledge that a lot of

00:48:08.500 inflation has to do with COVID, maybe things beyond Harris Biden's control. But of course, the

00:48:13.280 unmitigated spending that has been allowed, enabled, exacerbated by the Biden-Harris campaign,

00:48:20.040 of course, has contributed significantly to inflation. It's part of the reason why your groceries are up

00:48:28.180 like 40 to 70 percent. Biden has also floated a price capping plan of his own, which Harris supports.

00:48:35.760 Last month, he announced a proposal to limit rent increases by landlords. But rent control, again,

00:48:42.000 has been tried time and time again. And it just doesn't work. It doesn't work. It ends up being more

00:48:51.140 expensive for everyone. So let's take a look. Let's take a look at what exactly this has concluded in,

00:49:01.240 what exactly this has led to over the years. There's one example from the Nixon era. This is

00:49:07.000 according to Heritage. President Nixon in 1971 ordered an initial 90-day freeze on prices in labor

00:49:16.420 with future price increases to be subject to federal approval. Again, they were enduring a

00:49:22.540 lot of inflation during that time. This was a very popular proposal. Again, it sounds really good.

00:49:27.200 You're going to make my life more affordable. The proposal proved wildly popular, according to

00:49:33.020 Heritage, with 75 percent public support and a landslide re-election the following year. President

00:49:38.320 Nixon even ordered an IRS audit on companies breaching the ceiling. Ultimately, the program ended in

00:49:45.120 disaster. Ranchers stopped shipping their cattle to the market. Farmers drowned their chickens and

00:49:51.020 consumers emptied the shelves of supermarkets. In April 1974, the administration dismantled most of

00:49:57.540 the program. Importantly, the inflation of the early 1970s resulted largely from easy money,

00:50:02.960 just as the inflationary surge of the post-COVID era is largely a direct result of the explosion of

00:50:08.140 government spending beginning in 2020. So those things actually have to change for inflation to go down.

00:50:14.500 Just capping the price of something doesn't actually work long term. It creates chaos and it makes

00:50:20.740 things a lot more expensive in the long run. And of course, we know going back to immigration, 0.93

00:50:27.420 that illegal immigration is also, it's not just a national security issue. It's not just a culture

00:50:33.120 issue. It's not just a public safety issue. It's not just a foreign policy issue, a sovereignty issue.

00:50:41.380 It's so many different issues. But it's also an economic issue. Like when supply for something like

00:50:48.220 housing remains the same, but the demand goes up, then of course, the price of what is being demanded

00:50:59.140 is going to surge. And that's part of what's happening right now. That's not the only reason why it's so

00:51:05.100 expensive to buy a house. But certainly when you have a state like California saying, okay,

00:51:10.620 we're basically going to pay the down payment for an illegal alien, a benefit that we are not giving 0.96

00:51:16.240 to our citizens, that's going to negatively affect the housing market. And that's going to make it even 0.67

00:51:21.660 harder for responsible citizens, for families who have been saving a long time to be able to afford

00:51:29.120 a home. And so if she really cares about inflation, if she really cares about people being able to buy

00:51:34.320 a home the way that she says that she does, and she says, oh, we're just going to spend more money.

00:51:38.180 We're just going to give anyone who wants to buy a home tens of thousands of dollars. Of course,

00:51:42.160 again, exacerbating inflation, making the rest of our lives so much more expensive. She really cared

00:51:48.200 about that. And she would say, okay, we're closing the border. We're going to implement mass

00:51:53.860 deportations of all illegal aliens, starting, of course, with any who have committed additional

00:51:59.080 crimes. The most violent can be prioritized, and then you can go from there. That would have a

00:52:05.100 hugely positive effect on our economy as well as everything else. And yet, of course, she has

00:52:12.180 overseen a dereliction of duty by our federal government to secure our border. That's who Kamala

00:52:18.940 Harris is. I'm telling you, her presidency would be a disaster. I've talked about my disagreements

00:52:23.700 with Donald Trump, but he can be pushed toward the good. He can be pushed toward life. We already

00:52:30.080 like his economic policies, his foreign policy, his law enforcement policy. And so I feel good

00:52:36.400 about that on the things that I don't feel as good about, like abortion. He has a much better

00:52:42.960 potential to be influenced, as we've seen with the whole Amendment 4 thing in Florida that I talked

00:52:47.640 about on Instagram than Kamala Harris, who is funded by the abortion lobby and who is as bloodthirsty as 1.00

00:52:54.720 it gets when it comes to abortion. And so if you can't find it in you to enthusiastically vote for

00:53:03.120 Donald Trump, enthusiastically vote against Kamala Harris and try to get the other people in your life

00:53:08.480 to see why doing so matters so much. All right. That's all we've got time for today. We will be back

00:53:13.560 here tomorrow.
