Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey - Ep 1083 ｜ Maverick City Music： Christlike or Compromised？

00:00:00.660 Christian group Maverick City Music is on a rap album that includes other rappers like Megan Thee Stallion and Sexy Red.

00:00:09.600 They're receiving criticism for this, and I've got my take.

00:00:12.860 Also, the pornography industry is going all in for Kamala Harris, and Bill Clinton actually said something true about immigration.

00:00:20.760 We've got all this, plus my book Toxic Empathy is out today, and we will discuss that on this episode of Relatable.

00:00:29.740 It's brought to you by our friends at Good Ranchers.

00:00:32.240 Go to GoodRanchers.com slash Allie.

00:00:34.140 GoodRanchers.com slash Allie.

00:00:45.520 Hey guys, welcome to Relatable.

00:00:47.640 Happy Tuesday.

00:00:48.580 Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.

00:00:51.400 It is launch day for Toxic Empathy, and I just want to say thank you already to those of you who have been praying,

00:00:58.740 who have been encouraging, who have been supporting, who pre-ordered the book.

00:01:03.240 I am so grateful to all of you.

00:01:05.300 I always say that I have the best audience in the world, and it's because I do.

00:01:10.160 I got to meet so many of you at Share the Arrows, and I got to see your kindness,

00:01:14.780 your generosity, your gentleness, your goodness up close and personal.

00:01:18.880 And I'm just reminded so often that you guys are the best.

00:01:25.720 You're just the best salt-of-the-earth people, and I'm very grateful for you.

00:01:31.520 If you haven't purchased my book, Toxic Empathy, How Progressives Exploit Christian Compassion,

00:01:37.820 I really encourage you to do so.

00:01:40.180 You can purchase through Amazon, and you'll be able to get it really quickly.

00:01:44.240 It's also available on a Kindle version, or if you are like me in this season of my life

00:01:50.560 and you listen to books, I read the Audible version.

00:01:53.720 So it's available on all of those different platforms.

00:01:56.740 And we go through the five biggest lies of progressivism that are, believe it or not,

00:02:03.420 extremely persuasive to a lot of people, especially those who identify as Christians,

00:02:10.180 and in particular Christian women, and those lies are abortion is health care, trans women 1.00

00:02:16.060 are women, love is love, no human is illegal, social justice is justice. 1.00

00:02:22.080 And you know, I've been posting on X for the past couple days just about the book, encouraging

00:02:26.720 people to get it.

00:02:27.820 And one of my posts, I guess, got on the wrong side of X, on the progressive side of X, and

00:02:33.860 they're very, very angry about what they have no idea about when it comes to the content

00:02:41.180 of this book.

00:02:42.220 These are people telling me that this book is anti-Jesus, that it's anti-biblical, that

00:02:48.460 it is dangerous, fascist, theocratic nonsense, and that I should read the Bible, that I should

00:02:56.860 get to know Jesus.

00:02:57.620 Because as I saw someone say very poignantly in one of my replies, Jesus was woke as F,

00:03:06.820 expletive.

00:03:08.540 And you know, the quote tweets from people who claim that, of course, I and other conservative

00:03:15.540 Christians are on the side of cruelty and meanness are telling me some interesting things about 1.00

00:03:23.520 myself. 0.75

00:03:24.120 I had one reply that said that I should be sent to a re-education camp.

00:03:29.020 I had another reply that told me that I am just adding this to the Christian library of

00:03:35.680 lies.

00:03:36.720 Many people are telling me to go F myself simply because of the title of this book.

00:03:43.400 And they're very angry about the last two lies that I point out, that no human is illegal

00:03:49.500 and social justice is justice.

00:03:51.300 Many of these who claim to be progressive Christians or progressive secularists who claim to know

00:03:58.940 more about Christianity than Christians do say that these are core tenets of Christian

00:04:04.320 doctrine.

00:04:05.040 And I had one person reply and say, you know, what do you mean by these things?

00:04:09.800 These are so important to Christianity.

00:04:11.160 And I said, you know, you can read the book and find out, which made a lot of people angry.

00:04:17.280 So understand that progressives don't want people to read this book.

00:04:23.700 The title alone makes them angry, which wasn't my intention.

00:04:28.000 But I could see when you worship on the altar of the God of self and you have claimed that

00:04:35.720 empathy is simply feeling what someone feels is the highest virtue, that this can feel like

00:04:42.920 blasphemy to you, but it's actually not about discounting or negating love and compassion.

00:04:49.840 It's finding true love and compassion.

00:04:52.560 It's analyzing what does compassion actually look like?

00:04:56.480 Not just outsourcing our compassion to the government, not just tweeting about social justice

00:05:02.280 causes, not just saying these catchy circular mantras, which sound good, but are ultimately very

00:05:08.800 harmful when it comes to the policies that they encourage and advocate for.

00:05:13.900 But what does love truly look like?

00:05:16.620 What does real compassion, real kindness truly look like?

00:05:20.480 Not just personally, but also in the policies that we support.

00:05:25.460 That's what this book is about.

00:05:27.780 A lot of people seem to be very confused.

00:05:31.300 They are conflating empathy and the love to which Christians are called. 0.53

00:05:36.920 But as we've said many times, true love is inextricably intertwined with the truth.

00:05:44.620 1 Corinthians 13, 6 makes that very clear, that love never rejoices in wrongdoing, but

00:05:50.720 rejoices with the truth.

00:05:52.720 1 John 4, 8 says that God is love.

00:05:55.580 And because of that, he gets to say what it is and what it isn't.

00:05:59.120 He gets to define it for us.

00:06:00.880 He gets to define all things for us because as Genesis 1, 1 tells us, he is the creator of

00:06:06.700 all things, therefore he is the authority over all things.

00:06:10.020 So we get to go to him to tell us what's right, what's wrong, what's good, what's bad, what's

00:06:16.480 true, what's false.

00:06:17.480 I'm certainly not the arbiter of those things, but I am doing my best as a Christian, as a

00:06:24.480 mom, as a woman navigating the craziness and chaos of our culture to find clarity in factual,

00:06:34.180 observable reality and logical truth in history, but most importantly in God's word.

00:06:40.660 And that's what this book is about.

00:06:42.580 These are five very complex, very controversial subjects, and I break it down in a way that

00:06:49.400 is very easy to understand, at least I hope.

00:06:53.420 And it's not a terribly long book.

00:06:55.060 It took a long time to write because actually condensing so much information and simplifying

00:07:01.740 a lot of complex information takes a lot of time and takes a lot of effort, but that was

00:07:07.300 really important for me because I knew you'd be getting it only a couple weeks before the

00:07:12.160 election, and I wanted you to be able to read it in time to have the conversations that matter.

00:07:17.780 As we talked about yesterday, there are tens of millions of Christians who are not planning 1.00

00:07:22.500 to vote in this election because they don't realize what's at stake.

00:07:25.780 They don't realize their responsibility as Christians, that they're not supposed to be 1.00

00:07:30.780 looking for a perfect candidate, that we are voting for the party or we're voting for the

00:07:36.440 person whose platform and set of policy prescriptions will best mitigate evil.

00:07:41.960 That is a way to love our neighbor.

00:07:44.940 And even though this book isn't only about policy, it's not just about this election.

00:07:49.660 This really informs people and is meant to inform Christians about the issues that are at stake

00:07:57.260 that really affect predominantly disproportionately children.

00:08:02.620 And actually, I was just reminded of a part in the conclusion where I talk about this, that

00:08:09.680 Satan has really always had it out for kids.

00:08:14.360 And that's really where we are, where Christians were in ancient Rome 2,000 years ago, seeing

00:08:21.500 infants die by abortion, infanticide exposure, seeing them sexually objectified, seeing all

00:08:30.140 kinds of people other than the adult free male really dehumanized, sexual degeneracy, gender

00:08:37.720 confusion.

00:08:38.540 That's the culture that Christians walked into with a radical new way of seeing the Imago 1.00

00:08:44.720 Dei, seeing human beings and seeing morality.

00:08:47.540 But here's one part of my conclusion.

00:08:51.880 And really, the conclusion is the most important part of the book, because this is where we lay

00:08:56.520 out the gospel as clearly as possible.

00:08:58.720 But here's just one paragraph.

00:09:00.680 Satan seems to have it out for children.

00:09:02.680 They're always the most vulnerable prey to Satan's schemes, mentally and physically less

00:09:06.600 developed than adults.

00:09:07.620 Children don't have the tools to defend themselves against the more powerful.

00:09:11.780 They are easily moldable for better and for worse.

00:09:14.600 Parents are to offer spiritual, mental, and physical protection to their children, while

00:09:19.500 Satan and his cohorts will always seek their spiritual, mental, and physical destruction.

00:09:27.360 And then I go through, really, the history of how the world has treated children and how

00:09:33.640 Christians have provided their refuge.

00:09:37.540 And here is really the best news of all.

00:09:40.900 In all of this craziness, in all of this desperation and destitution that we see, it seems like

00:09:48.200 on an everyday basis, it's just so overwhelming.

00:09:51.060 This is the best news.

00:09:52.220 And this is the end of the book.

00:09:53.560 Here's the good news, the best news of all.

00:09:57.300 One day, toxic empathy won't exist.

00:09:59.680 We won't have to worry about it because there will be no one to manipulate us and nothing

00:10:03.600 to be manipulated by.

00:10:05.280 There will be no more debates, no more politics.

00:10:08.080 There will be no more abortion, no more gender confusion or perversion. 0.96

00:10:11.400 There will be no more sexual immorality.

00:10:13.820 There will be no more migration, no asylum seeking or fleeing for refuge.

00:10:17.440 No more danger or enemies or economic needs.

00:10:20.980 There will be no more injustice, murder, or oppression.

00:10:23.840 All the wretched, bloody, brokenness humanity has endured since Adam and Eve took that fateful

00:10:29.380 bite of the forbidden fruit will come to an end.

00:10:32.040 We will once again walk in unhindered communion with our Creator.

00:10:35.920 Sorrow, sickness, and sin will be no more.

00:10:38.440 Because Jesus wins.

00:10:39.900 At the end of this mess, Jesus comes in on a white horse and avenges innocent blood.

00:10:44.420 He destroys the enemy once and for all.

00:10:46.280 The serpent's head will be crushed and all God's children, all those who have been made 1.00

00:10:50.480 alive in Christ by grace through faith will live with him in perfect joy forever.

00:10:56.580 And if nothing else comes out of this book, if there is no other message received or that

00:11:06.300 resonates, I hope that does.

00:11:08.240 And if it's just one person who hears that or understands it for the first time, and that's

00:11:12.580 not my articulation, that's just the gospel.

00:11:15.280 That's just the word of God.

00:11:16.640 Then all the unfair criticism will be worth it.

00:11:20.980 We have a segment in this book about receiving unfair criticism because if you echo what is

00:11:27.460 said in this book, you will not only get criticism, but people will malign you.

00:11:32.980 They will slander you.

00:11:34.800 You will feel the sting of rejection.

00:11:37.860 And I just want to remind you that all of that, no matter how small in comparison to big, bloody

00:11:43.620 persecution that is being endured by Christians around the world, that all of that counts, that 0.95

00:11:49.520 is still creating for us, contributing to, for us, a far greater glory that outweighs all

00:11:58.200 of the trials and the pushback that we are enduring today.

00:12:02.760 And it's just a reminder too, to not judge your obedience, your faithfulness by other

00:12:10.660 people's reaction to you.

00:12:12.640 Remember, Jesus was full of grace and power.

00:12:16.440 He was full of grace and truth.

00:12:18.680 He exemplified love and kindness.

00:12:20.540 What was his fate?

00:12:21.800 Stephen, the great evangelist, simply shared the gospel to the audience before him.

00:12:26.400 What was his fate?

00:12:27.240 Of course, Jesus was crucified.

00:12:29.420 Stephen was stoned to death.

00:12:31.140 Why do we expect to be treated better when we are also sharing inconvenient and uncomfortable

00:12:39.120 truth to those who are following the spirit of this age, the prince of the power of the

00:12:45.580 air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience, Ephesians 2 says.

00:12:50.640 So we should expect at least some pushback, no matter how nice we are.

00:12:55.640 And it is all worth it.

00:12:58.660 It is all worth it.

00:12:59.740 So please go out and purchase Toxic Empathy if you haven't already.

00:13:03.440 And if you have purchased it, if you love the book, something that really, really helps

00:13:07.780 the book and also really gets to those trolls is if you go on Amazon and you leave me a five

00:13:16.340 star review.

00:13:17.240 So please, it doesn't have to be long.

00:13:19.720 It doesn't have to be thorough.

00:13:21.160 It's great if it is.

00:13:22.120 But if you can please go on Amazon and leave me a five star review, that would mean so much

00:13:27.620 to me.

00:13:28.140 Again, thank you all so much.

00:13:30.520 Share this with your friends.

00:13:31.940 Buy a copy for your friends.

00:13:33.840 Share it on social media.

00:13:34.860 If you feel so inclined, so grateful for y'all.

00:13:38.340 You can go to ToxicEmpathy.com or you can just click the link in the description of this

00:13:42.140 episode and buy it on Amazon and it'll get to you soon.

00:13:46.540 All right.

00:13:46.940 Before we get into our stories for today, let me pause and tell you about our first sponsor

00:13:51.620 and it's Adele Natural Cosmetics.

00:13:53.440 This is an unapologetically pro-life, pro-Jesus company.

00:13:58.880 They're very outspoken about their faith, which if you know anything about the cosmetic industry,

00:14:03.300 it can be very dark.

00:14:04.780 They're very pro-abortion.

00:14:06.280 They're very pro-gender confusion.

00:14:08.420 Not Adele Natural Cosmetics.

00:14:09.960 And the great thing about it is they're not just amazing when it comes to their values.

00:14:15.980 It's also about the ingredients that they put in every product.

00:14:19.800 They operate in integrity in every way.

00:14:23.680 I love their products because they're all natural, completely holistic.

00:14:27.900 You don't have any fake fragrances, any of the parabens, the toxic stuff that unfortunately

00:14:33.120 you get in a lot of other products, cosmetic products.

00:14:37.220 This is true about their makeup.

00:14:38.440 It's also true about their skincare.

00:14:40.300 I use their skincare every day, their oil-based cleanser.

00:14:44.060 I swear by it.

00:14:45.000 It has changed the texture of my skin, has made my skin so soft, so moisturized.

00:14:50.460 I tend to have dry skin.

00:14:51.720 And so I use their oil-based cleanser, their essential cleanser.

00:14:55.340 I also use their essential moisturizing spray.

00:14:59.100 I love their stuff so much.

00:15:01.680 Go to adelenaturalcosmetics.com.

00:15:03.860 Use code Allie for 25% off your first time purchase.

00:15:07.120 Adele, naturalcosmetics.com, code Allie.

00:15:14.240 Okay.

00:15:14.940 A lot of you are probably fans of Maverick City music.

00:15:19.060 This is an extremely popular Christian band.

00:15:22.260 They've been around for a few years now.

00:15:24.280 They've won lots of awards.

00:15:26.080 And for good reason, they are incredibly talented.

00:15:28.820 And I am a fan of a lot of their songs.

00:15:33.680 Their song, Promises, it is so good.

00:15:37.640 I listen to it almost on a daily basis.

00:15:40.180 They are fantastic when it comes to just the vocal talent they're bringing, the songwriting

00:15:46.960 talent they're bringing.

00:15:48.020 They're amazing performers.

00:15:49.460 And they have just skyrocketed in fame over the last few years.

00:15:53.380 But they have also received a lot of criticism, both for some of the members' left-wing political

00:15:59.640 stances that they've been pretty outspoken about, as well as what seems like compromising

00:16:06.680 with the world.

00:16:07.620 And so I'll let you be the judge.

00:16:09.880 You can decide if you think that this is compromise or if this is just them getting more of their

00:16:16.500 Christian music out there.

00:16:18.600 Right now, the criticism is surrounding their partnership with Glowrilla.

00:16:23.600 This is a female rapper. 1.00

00:16:25.580 She's got a rap debut album that features Christian artists.

00:16:31.040 She herself calls herself a Christian.

00:16:33.760 And some of the lyrics that she has on this album are kind of Christian, or at least they

00:16:39.020 talk about God.

00:16:41.360 And then some other lyrics are extremely explicit.

00:16:45.380 And so I'll read you some of those without the explicit language.

00:16:50.240 So this is called Glorious.

00:16:52.300 This is the debut album.

00:16:54.740 It dropped on Friday, October 11th.

00:16:57.200 Christians were shocked to see the collaboration with gospel musicians sandwiched between other

00:17:02.580 tracks with explicit lyrics.

00:17:05.100 And I'm talking about Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music, Kiara Shurd, Chandler Moore.

00:17:13.140 Chandler Moore is a member of Maverick City Music.

00:17:16.300 Other songs on her album include collaborations with artists like Megan Thee Stallion.

00:17:22.420 I couldn't tell you one of Megan Thee Stallion's songs.

00:17:25.420 Do you know one of Megan Thee Stallion's songs, Brie?

00:17:28.140 I'm sure I would know it like if I heard it, but I could not name you one, though.

00:17:31.960 Okay.

00:17:32.960 She, I feel like maybe she did something with Cardi B.

00:17:36.740 Probably.

00:17:37.600 Did she do WAP?

00:17:39.480 Oh.

00:17:40.600 Was that her?

00:17:41.780 Oh, you know what?

00:17:42.640 Literally the only reason I, cameraman says what?

00:17:49.040 Yes.

00:17:49.840 Okay.

00:17:51.040 Okay.

00:17:51.600 The only reason I know about the song WAP is literally because of Ben Shapiro.

00:17:56.280 Do you remember all that?

00:17:57.900 Oh, yeah.

00:17:58.260 How he said the lyrics on his show?

00:18:02.240 One of the best moments.

00:18:04.940 So she did WAP with Cardi B. 0.51

00:18:07.520 So she is on this album with Glorilla.

00:18:10.600 And she also sang, I think, at the Atlanta Kamala Harris rally a few months ago, like right

00:18:19.280 after Kamala Harris announced that she was running.

00:18:22.920 I'm pretty sure it was like a whole twerking fest in Atlanta with Megan Thee Stallion.

00:18:26.880 I'm pretty sure that's correct.

00:18:28.240 Yep.

00:18:28.440 So you've got her on this album.

00:18:30.240 You've also got Sexy Red. 1.00

00:18:32.460 The first time I saw Sexy Red, like circulated on X, I thought this is not real.

00:18:39.160 This is a joke.

00:18:40.120 Someone is making fun of rap.

00:18:42.080 But no, this is real.

00:18:44.420 She rose to prominence with the release of her explicit 2023 single, Pound Town.

00:18:50.560 Just going to allow for a pause there.

00:18:54.480 Glorilla, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods.

00:18:57.800 This goes by Glorilla Pimp on social media.

00:19:02.620 We've got a picture of that, I believe.

00:19:06.300 Her social media name.

00:19:08.960 Okay, that's her.

00:19:10.240 Got it.

00:19:11.040 She is a native of Memphis, Tennessee.

00:19:13.960 She grew up in a Christian home.

00:19:15.640 She sang in the church choir.

00:19:17.220 She was homeschooled until high school.

00:19:18.940 That's an interesting background.

00:19:21.520 On the Tamron Hall show earlier this year, the rapper said she initially planned to become

00:19:25.840 a gospel singer and that she and her mother pray for each other.

00:19:28.540 I always have to put God first in whatever I do and not let too much negativity get to me.

00:19:34.220 She shared with Hall that she still holds her faith close to her, even if her music might not seem that way.

00:19:41.700 Well, that's sad because God has obviously given her a talent and she had this wonderful privilege of

00:19:50.020 being raised in a Christian home and going to church.

00:19:55.140 A lot of people don't have parents that bring them to church and teach them about the Word of God.

00:20:00.780 And so she has now decided not to use the talent that God has given her for his glory, but for her own.

00:20:09.540 And here's what I mean by that.

00:20:12.140 Here are some examples of the lyrics of the songs that are on this album alongside some Christian singer collaborators.

00:20:21.120 There's a song called Holon.

00:20:23.020 I think it's like hold on, but it's all one word, H-O-L-L-O-N. 1.00

00:20:28.400 And so I'm just going to read you some things.

00:20:31.180 I won't say the actual cuss words, but even the non-cuss words are not really that are not great.

00:20:36.940 Here's one of her songs.

00:20:38.940 Ho, you must not know what you just started.

00:20:42.040 F word.

00:20:43.000 Me and my B words go gnarly.

00:20:46.160 Give a F about this party.

00:20:48.700 We gun step on S regardless. 0.98

00:20:52.260 Get my goons.

00:20:53.460 Swipe that B and now dispute the charges on gang.

00:20:58.400 Brie is laughing.

00:21:01.800 This is a song by with Sexy Red.

00:21:05.820 What you know about me.

00:21:07.500 It's glow the MFNP.

00:21:10.200 Y'all know what the F going on.

00:21:13.220 And then there's the N word.

00:21:15.520 I can't even say this.

00:21:17.480 I can't even say the next part because it's not cuss words.

00:21:22.540 This song is probably catchy.

00:21:25.820 It's giving hair face...

00:21:28.400 And then how can I even say that?

00:21:32.980 Two private parts that I cannot say.

00:21:37.220 And then the other song.

00:21:39.340 So she just says that over and over again with Sexy Red. 1.00

00:21:42.180 And then another song, How I Look with Megan Thee Stallion.

00:21:45.680 How I Look F-ing on an N word that got less than me.

00:21:52.800 How I Look calling B words that can't get next to me.

00:21:57.360 How I Look checking for an N word that don't check for me. 0.98

00:22:01.780 How I Look not betting on myself.

00:22:04.160 Glow the recipe.

00:22:05.860 Okay.

00:22:06.480 So I know that some of you are going to be like,

00:22:09.080 why did you even need to read any of that?

00:22:11.180 I think it's important for you to know what I'm talking about when I say how crazy it is

00:22:16.920 that there are Christians on this album.

00:22:18.900 Because I know some of you out there are going to be like, don't be judgmental.

00:22:24.480 They're just collaborating, trying to maybe bring her and her listeners closer to God.

00:22:30.580 And I hope to the Lord that happens.

00:22:32.680 Truly I do.

00:22:34.480 But I mean, what association does light have with darkness?

00:22:38.460 I'm just not sure that an actual collaboration is the way to share the gospel with her and her listeners.

00:22:47.020 You could actually just share the gospel with her and her listeners.

00:22:50.440 It does seem like, it seems like, and maybe this is not what they meant to do.

00:22:55.200 So I would love to give the benefit of the doubt.

00:22:57.280 But it almost does seem like an endorsement of the album when you are a part of this.

00:23:01.720 You had to know Sexy Red and Megan Thee Stallion are going to be on this album.

00:23:09.140 And you know what they sing about.

00:23:10.580 It's not the gospel.

00:23:12.700 So here's one of the songs that's with Maverick City Music called Rain Down On Me.

00:23:21.160 And it said,

00:23:22.380 Feeling like I'm God's favorite.

00:23:24.080 And that's the best feeling ever.

00:23:26.000 Rain down on me, Father God.

00:23:27.740 I won't use an umbrella.

00:23:29.280 Forgive the ones who play with me.

00:23:31.940 Apparently, they don't know better.

00:23:33.800 See, even this is very narcissistic.

00:23:37.300 It's extremely narcissistic prosperity gospel theology.

00:23:42.400 So it's not even right to say, well, at least like there's one solid gospel song on there.

00:23:48.120 And that's great.

00:23:48.680 People can understand the gospel.

00:23:49.740 This is not the gospel.

00:23:50.840 This is called Narcid Jesus.

00:23:52.300 And this is when you look at the Bible and look at theology and only see yourself.

00:23:58.120 It's hard to talk about my blessings.

00:24:00.880 They be saying I'm acting cocky.

00:24:04.580 Watch over my family, Lord, and watch over all my partners.

00:24:07.140 And even though he hate me, Lord, watch over my baby father.

00:24:10.600 Watch over my haters.

00:24:12.100 They the ones that make me go the hardest.

00:24:14.800 Okay.

00:24:16.960 Protect me from the evil that I can't see with my eyes.

00:24:19.740 And if it's any blessing blockers around me, help me cut them ties in Jesus's name.

00:24:25.980 See, this is very sad because this is treating Jesus, the God of the universe, as a genie that just does what you want him to do, that is there to grant your wishes and to give you prosperity and to shower your life with blessings.

00:24:44.980 Even though, at least according to the other songs that are on there, you are not living in accordance with his word.

00:24:54.060 And that's not to say that he doesn't love you, that he doesn't want good things for you.

00:24:58.760 But because he loves you and because he wants good things for you, he doesn't want you to live a life of sexual degeneracy.

00:25:07.600 He doesn't want you to be giving your body to people who aren't your husband. 0.99

00:25:11.760 He doesn't want you to be promoting this promiscuity, which really hurts you and hurts relationships, hurts your body, hurts your heart, hurts your soul, hurts your mind.

00:25:23.080 Obviously, it has a negative impact on your child.

00:25:28.000 I mean, your child who has a father who hates his mother.

00:25:32.780 I mean, so much would be solved.

00:25:34.340 I was asked the other day, like, if you could change one thing that's going on in the world, if you would solve one problem, what would it be?

00:25:43.160 And I said, people having sex before marriage. 0.89

00:25:46.340 If people just stopped having sex outside of marriage, so many of our problems would end overnight. 0.84

00:25:58.220 And any album, I don't care if it's a country album, if it's a rap album, if it's a pop album, I don't care if it's Taylor Swift, I don't care if it's Glorilla.

00:26:07.000 Any album that is promoting this kind of degeneracy and darkness is sad, and it's not something that we should support, and we should not give a pass to people just because it's rap.

00:26:23.540 Just as we shouldn't give a pass to people just because it's Taylor Swift.

00:26:27.800 And I know I'm going to get people out there saying that this is racist to even talk about.

00:26:32.080 Okay, you can go back and you can watch my Taylor Swift episodes where I criticize her lyrics, and also I got a kick out of reading some of her silly lyrics out loud too.

00:26:43.900 No, the truth is that actually I think a lot of Christians don't treat Black people or Black people who say that they're Christians as full people in the sense that they don't think that they have the same responsibility or the same agency, the same ability to repent of their sins and to follow the Word of God as other Christians do.

00:27:12.400 It's like the standard is lower or the gospel is different or repentance and holiness isn't as necessary.

00:27:19.960 And that's not good.

00:27:21.320 Like that really does people a disservice.

00:27:24.000 The truth is all people, no matter your culture, no matter your skin color, no matter your class, no matter your background, if you are a Christian, we are all called to the same self-denial, to take up our cross, to follow Christ, to treat our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit, and to act and speak and sing in a way that glorifies Him.

00:27:48.900 That doesn't mean that we're going to be perfect, and I'm not expecting that of this person or Maverick City Music, but I do expect us at the very least to not be promoting the things that God hates, and He hates them because He loves us.

00:28:05.460 So I hope that Glorilla will repent and remember the faith that she was raised with and see that Christ is the star, He is the prize, He is the blessing, not the things that she wants, her fame, her success.

00:28:21.620 And I pray the same thing for Sexy Red and Megan Thee Stallion because they are promoting a kind of degeneracy that is just so harmful on both an individual and societal level.

00:28:35.000 All right, I've got a little more to say about this.

00:28:37.060 Let me tell you about our next sponsor for the day, and that is Preborn.

00:28:40.180 A lot of you ask me, I don't know what to do to help save babies.

00:28:44.680 I want to be a part of pro-life work, but I don't really know how to except for just say that I'm pro-life publicly, which is a really important thing.

00:28:51.900 But if you also want to put your money, your time where your mouth is, then I encourage you to donate to Preborn.

00:28:57.620 It's a large network of clinics across the country that are providing free resources to pregnant moms in need.

00:29:03.620 One of the most important things they provide is that free sonogram.

00:29:06.460 When a mom sees her baby in the womb, on the sonogram, she is so much more likely to choose life for her baby.

00:29:16.120 When she sees that little body, hears that little beating heart, she sees this is not just some abstract clump of cells.

00:29:23.680 This is a human being.

00:29:24.840 This is part of me.

00:29:26.280 She is so much more likely to choose life.

00:29:28.080 And when she does choose life, Preborn is there providing her with so many of the materials that she needs to thrive.

00:29:34.220 Go to preborn.com slash Allie.

00:29:37.840 That's preborn.com slash Allie. 0.81

00:29:44.600 Okay, so some of these artists are responding to the backlash that they've received because there has been some backlash on social media.

00:29:53.640 In an October 8th interview with Hotspot Atlanta, Franklin seemingly discussed his recent collaboration with Glorilla.

00:29:59.980 He didn't actually say her name, but he said, you know,

00:30:03.300 choosing collaborative projects is still something that I'm trying to figure out.

00:30:08.500 I'm just always grateful that people want to work with me, saying there's not one set formula for every individual.

00:30:15.200 The musician added that he always tries to determine what he can contribute to a project that can either elevate it or inspire it.

00:30:23.200 And Kiera Sherd posted on Instagram, I'm super blessed to be a part of Glorilla Pimp's new song, Rain Down On Me.

00:30:32.120 I pray all who are listening are hearing the message of hope, faith, and Jesus Christ.

00:30:36.300 But I already read the lyrics to that song, and it's not the gospel.

00:30:40.480 It's just about what God can give you as the star of the show.

00:30:44.440 So Maverick City Music has yet to make a statement.

00:30:49.000 In an October 11th YouTube video, host of Not Just Sunday podcast Nick Vaughn-Jones expressed dismay at the mind-blowing irony of Rain Down On Me.

00:30:56.960 The rest of the album's lyrics are as explicit and vulgar and disgusting as it gets.

00:31:01.100 He said, you celebrate sin and glorify sin for seven songs, and then all of a sudden you want to insert a praise break as if that's going to save you.

00:31:10.160 You need to repent. On social media, fans shared mixed reactions to Christian artists participating in the album.

00:31:17.740 One wondered if it was a prank, while another wrote, I don't know if this is what the Bible meant by set apart.

00:31:23.340 Someone asked, how is Maverick City on the same album as Sexy Red? Like, what are we doing?

00:31:27.800 All other people said Christians should stop judging. You're not God. You're not perfect.

00:31:33.020 Well, of course. I mean, no one said that.

00:31:35.260 But if God's ways are better, and if we love God, and we want good things for people,

00:31:40.340 then that means we're not going to be excited about supporting an album that promotes sin and harmful things.

00:31:50.160 Someone else wrote, Jesus frequently collaborated with sinners.

00:31:53.600 No!

00:31:57.080 No!

00:31:59.680 The worst!

00:32:01.380 We have no idea what God has called these artists to do.

00:32:03.860 Christianity is about sharing the good news of the Savior to those who need it most.

00:32:08.940 Okay, Jesus was not collabing with the woman at the well.

00:32:12.340 That was not a collab.

00:32:13.940 In fact, he very explicitly, some people today would probably say harshly,

00:32:20.440 called her out on her sin and told her these things about herself that,

00:32:26.100 unless he was God, he really had no way of knowing.

00:32:29.120 Said, yeah, you actually have multiple husbands, because she was an adulterer, 1.00

00:32:36.360 and you need to stop sinning.

00:32:40.600 And here I am, the living water, so you will never thirst again.

00:32:45.020 Your well will never run dry.

00:32:47.560 And he told her, when she asked, you know, basically, are you God?

00:32:54.560 Are you the one that people have been waiting for?

00:32:58.640 And he was basically like, yep.

00:33:00.980 So he shared the gospel with her, called her to repentance, called out her sin.

00:33:06.380 That's not what's going on here.

00:33:08.180 That's something that people forget, that when Jesus was dining with the tax collectors

00:33:13.920 and the prostitutes, when he was interacting with the woman who was caught in adultery,

00:33:19.840 when he was healing the sick, yes, he was meeting material needs in many cases,

00:33:24.920 but he was also calling these people to faith and repentance,

00:33:28.240 because he didn't only care about their bodies.

00:33:31.620 He also cared about their hearts and their souls, because that's what real love is.

00:33:36.540 Christians are called to be as wise as serpents, but innocent as doves. 1.00

00:33:43.220 It's not judging someone hypocritically, because that's really what we are told not to do in

00:33:51.420 scripture.

00:33:52.100 We're not to condemn someone for something that we are guilty of, but we absolutely should

00:33:58.480 be able to discern right from wrong, truth from a lie, and light from darkness.

00:34:03.240 That's part of the wisdom that God promises to give us when we ask for it in the book of James.

00:34:09.940 And so, no, Jesus was not collabing with sinners.

00:34:12.420 He was calling sinners to repentance.

00:34:15.860 As I said earlier, this is not the first time Maverick City Music has caught some flack.

00:34:21.500 In June of 2021, they released an album titled Jubilee Juneteenth Edition.

00:34:29.340 The single Breathe won the GMA Dove Award for Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year.

00:34:36.640 It was written in 2021 as the trial for Derek Chauvin was taking place.

00:34:41.260 Maverick City's Chandler Moore responded to the verdict of Derek Chauvin with the release of the song

00:34:46.420 Breathe, inspired by Floyd's final words, speaks of the urgent call to use the breath God has given us

00:34:54.880 to worship.

00:34:57.520 And so, after the George Floyd incident, there were also members of the band that posted in support

00:35:07.240 of Black Lives Matter, also the drummer for Maverick City Music, Harold Brown, in June of 2022, following

00:35:16.920 the release of the Dobbs decision, posted a picture that said over and over and over again,

00:35:23.520 men shouldn't be making laws about women's bodies. 1.00

00:35:28.020 Since the Instagram story was deleted, many of Brown's followers posted responses from both

00:35:35.600 sides of the abortion issue. The comments were posted to his other Instagram photos.

00:35:40.820 I can't believe everyone and their mom was in these comments, steady judging and not even

00:35:44.300 rightfully judging at that. Someone said, thank you for your support for women. Someone else said,

00:35:50.140 God hates lukewarm Christians and hands that shed innocent blood. Dante Bowe, a former member of

00:35:58.040 Maverick City Music, released a controversial solo album in July 2023. One of the album or one of the

00:36:04.460 songs was called Wind Me Up, and the music video features dozens of scantily clad women partying 1.00

00:36:10.120 it up and sexual poses while the lyrics are about desire, companionship, and lust. Show me, show me,

00:36:17.660 show me, show me, show me, show me, love, girl. You take my mind into a next world. You're the best

00:36:22.080 love me ever get. Okay? So it's so hard to say I, and I don't want you as my ex-girl. So Maverick City

00:36:35.140 Music, with as much talent as they have and that I appreciate and have benefited from, like there's just a

00:36:42.100 lot, there's a lot going on there. People also criticized them back in June because they sang

00:36:52.840 with rapper Will Smith at the BET Awards in a performance that critics said was very dark,

00:36:59.160 fiery, demonic. Smith premiered his single, You Can Make It, on a dark, smoke-filled stage,

00:37:05.620 standing in a circle of fire with a small choir of vocalists in a raised semicircle behind him.

00:37:10.720 The performance incorporated the sound of the gospel choir and solos by Kirk Franklin

00:37:14.480 and Maverick City Music, including the Christian musicians, seemed to many to be only a superficial

00:37:21.620 inclusion in a message that was only vaguely spiritual, referring to heaven and hell,

00:37:25.560 but focused on personal struggle and triumph. Again, we've got that Nars of Jesus. So

00:37:30.060 there's just a lot, there's just a lot going on there. A lot of interesting political positions,

00:37:36.340 not interesting, of course, I say that kind of sarcastically, but bad political positions,

00:37:41.760 and it just seems like a lot of unnecessary partnership with the world that comes across

00:37:47.620 as promotion and endorsement. And so, you know, I want Christian artists and Christian groups to

00:37:55.880 follow God and to walk in repentance and to set a steady example of being true to God's word.

00:38:02.660 And I'm so thankful for the Christian artists and groups out there that not only base every single

00:38:08.520 lyric on the word of God, but their entire lives. Because in a way, you guys are leaders,

00:38:15.080 you guys are teachers, and music has such a special way of getting into people's hearts and changing

00:38:21.700 people's minds, both for better and for worse. I think that's why Satan has such a hold on the music

00:38:28.040 industry and also doesn't really surprise me about what's going on here. He wants to see

00:38:33.780 these artists compromise because he knows this is a really easy way to manipulate people

00:38:39.600 into being further from the Lord. And so just take care. And we all should take care of the,

00:38:48.140 you know, the music that we are listening to as well, and the people that we're supporting.

00:38:53.520 It's making me certainly think twice about listening to Promises by Maverick City Music. And I think I

00:39:01.260 even, you know, I even shared it on Instagram once. And now I'm like, oh, probably shouldn't have done

00:39:07.380 that. So I'm in the same boat with you guys thinking about the music that not only we're listening to,

00:39:12.940 but also promoting. All right. We've got this crazy story about Kamala Harris and the campaign that she

00:39:21.560 is trying to launch right now that her campaign is doing with pornography. What, what, what are we

00:39:31.520 doing, y'all? What are we doing? But before we get into it, let me tell you about our next sponsor for

00:39:36.520 the day. And that is First Liberty. First Liberty is the largest legal organization in the nation

00:39:42.640 dedicated exclusively to defending religious liberty for all Americans. They believe that every American of

00:39:49.180 any faith or no faith at all has a fundamental right to follow their conscience and live according

00:39:55.720 to their beliefs. They represented coach Joe Kennedy, who had progressive activists coming after him,

00:40:02.720 threatening his livelihood and his job for simply praying on the field during a football game.

00:40:08.520 They have represented those in the military who didn't want to get the COVID vaccine for

00:40:14.580 religious reasons. And so they're really doing amazing work. And one thing they're sounding the

00:40:19.700 alarm on right now is the left's plan to pack the Supreme Court. They're calling it a Supreme Court

00:40:26.340 coup. And even Joe Biden has suggested that he wants to reform the Supreme Court. Like that is

00:40:33.120 communist speak for taking away the balance of power. They want to concentrate as much power at the top as

00:40:40.380 possible. They don't want the check and balance of the Constitution. And that's why they don't want

00:40:44.880 the check and balance of the Supreme Court. That's why they don't want the Electoral College. When they

00:40:49.880 don't win, they seek to undermine our institutions. The very institutions, the democratic institutions,

00:40:56.140 they say they are guarding. They actually seek to undermine until they can collect all of the power

00:41:01.940 necessary to move their agenda forward without opposition. So First Liberty wants you to know

00:41:07.640 their plan for the Supreme Court. That's why they want you to go to supremecoup.com slash Stuckey

00:41:15.440 to learn how you can help stop the radical left's takeover of the Supreme Court. That's supremecoup.com

00:41:22.400 slash Stuckey. Okay, I saw this reported by the Daily Signal on October 10th. Hands off my porn

00:41:33.280 campaign pushes voters toward Kamala Harris. The hands off my porn campaign, a coalition of

00:41:39.220 pornography producers, distributors and performers is spending $100,000 to run ads online to encourage

00:41:45.820 porn users to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris. The campaign claims it is not coordinated by the

00:41:52.260 Harris Walls campaign. So let me clarify that. I think I said that wrong earlier. It's not coordinated

00:41:57.560 by the Harris Walls campaign, but many political strategists think that's not true. Okay, so we'll

00:42:03.340 get into that back and forth in a minute. So we'll show you the picture of what this campaign looks like

00:42:11.260 here. Don't let them control what you watch. Vote for Kamala Harris. Conservatives are planning to 1.00

00:42:20.500 criminalize porn. Don't let them control what you watch. Well, don't threaten me with good time

00:42:27.280 because there are some of us who do want pornography to be illegal because, duh, it is the legal loophole

00:42:34.960 for sex trafficking and even child sex trafficking. There's just not good safeguards. It doesn't count as

00:42:40.300 free speech. It clearly should count as obscenity. The Supreme Court has been unhelpful in this regard,

00:42:48.200 and there's been a lot of back and forth over the past several, several decades on what is considered

00:42:55.060 obscene, what is considered free speech. And look, I really believe in free speech. I think free speech is

00:43:00.860 vital to our country. I think it is necessary, especially for people of faith, especially for people like me

00:43:08.060 who say things that the mainstream considers controversial. But pornography is not speech. It's not free speech.

00:43:15.760 It shouldn't be. I know the Supreme Court, many on the Supreme Court have apparently disagreed,

00:43:21.820 but it is the legal loophole for sex trafficking and child sex trafficking, and it would only benefit

00:43:29.500 society if it was really, really, really hard to get. And some people say, oh, well, it's just going to go

00:43:34.600 on the dark web. Good. Make it as difficult as possible to access. I think that that would be a good thing.

00:43:41.320 Um, what do we always say about the left? When they're talking about freedom, what are they

00:43:46.200 talking about? Two things. They're only talking about two things. They're talking about sexual

00:43:50.620 degeneracy and abortion. And there's a lot that falls into that, that falls under that sexual

00:43:56.700 degeneracy piece. They're talking about the freedom of teachers to teach your kids about changing their

00:44:03.960 bodies in accordance to their fictional gender identity. The freedom of schools to have pornographic

00:44:11.900 and LGBTQ affirmative, uh, curriculum and books in elementary school libraries.

00:44:22.680 That's what they're talking about. The freedom to be celebrated, affirmed, and subsidized

00:44:29.360 in your quest to buy a child. If you're two men buying the eggs of one woman, renting the womb 0.98

00:44:37.480 of another woman, they're talking about sexual degeneracy and abortion when they're talking about 0.86

00:44:44.420 freedom. They're not talking about your first and second amendment rights. They're not talking about

00:44:49.220 your bodily autonomy to choose what vaccines go into your body. That's not what they're talking about.

00:44:55.300 They're only talking about sin. They're only talking about sexual degeneracy and abortion when

00:45:01.660 they're talking about freedom. This is another great example of that. The advertisement claims

00:45:06.280 that the Trump administration will ban porn if he is elected again, a claim that is based on policy

00:45:11.760 recommendations in the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025. Of course, Trump has repeatedly disavowed

00:45:18.080 this and, uh, here is a thought of this campaign. I'm Holly Randall and I've been working in the adult

00:45:25.080 industry for over 25 years. I need to address the threat of Project 2025. Over 140 Trump appointees got

00:45:33.360 together and wrote a roadmap for his next term in office and decided that one of their top priorities

00:45:38.800 is to outlaw pornography. The only thing that outlawing porn will do is drive it underground and that's

00:45:45.760 when things get dangerous. So visit handsoffmyporn.com. Learn the facts, listen to women, and vote. 0.98

00:45:54.120 The Trump allies in this campaign are labeled weirdos in the ad. That's rich coming from pornos. 0.97

00:46:02.240 Okay? You're not going to convince me that the weirdos are the dad and the granddad with the kids

00:46:11.540 and the grandkids and the normal families who are trying to get people to live their lives.

00:46:16.360 You're not going to convince me that the weirdos are the Christians simply trying to protect the 1.00

00:46:21.940 most vulnerable and build a functional society. Like, there is nothing positive about pornography.

00:46:28.620 It is only destructive. It is only detrimental both to the individual, also to the family,

00:46:34.160 and then also to society. It is mentioned, the outlawing of porn is mentioned in the Ford of

00:46:41.760 Project 2025, but it's not actually a policy prescription. This is the opinion of President

00:46:48.140 Kevin Roberts when he is discussing sexualized book in schools. He says this, pornography should

00:46:55.460 be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned. Educators and public librarians

00:47:00.360 who purvey it should be classed as registered sex offenders. I love that. I completely agree with

00:47:06.120 that. Trump probably doesn't agree with that. He's not associated with Project 2025 at all.

00:47:13.440 I think that, I mean, I haven't read the entirety of Project 2025, but we did do a deep dive on it,

00:47:19.800 and I have read most of it. And most of it is very mainstream conservative stuff. It's not any of

00:47:25.560 the scary theocratic stuff that you are seeing from the left. A lot of it,

00:47:30.360 that the left is talking about. They're just straight up lying about it.

00:47:35.340 While the fact of porn expenditures themselves is shocking, Megan Kilgannon, senior fellow at the

00:47:44.000 Family Research Council, said, the messaging around Project 2025 and the targeting of swing states

00:47:50.020 would lead one to believe that these ads are coordinated with the Democratic National Committee

00:47:55.140 and the Harris campaign. It would be better to promise lower taxes, lower prices, more jobs.

00:48:01.900 But since Harris Walls is not credible on those topics, it's not surprising that the expert fear

00:48:07.520 mongers at DNC would supplement their dire abortion messaging to women with porn-based ads for men.

00:48:13.440 So those are the messages they have for you. This party who claims to be pro-woman, 0.53

00:48:20.160 here's the promise they have for you. They will ensure that men can have access to fueling their

00:48:28.640 porn addictions, which makes them sexually dysfunctional and more likely to be violent

00:48:33.580 and more likely to cheat, to actually physically cheat, not just mentally and imaginatively cheat

00:48:41.480 through pornography. And women, don't worry, will make sure that you can kill your child. 1.00

00:48:48.220 That is the explicit platform of the Democrat Party. More porn, more abortions. It is a party of 1.00

00:48:54.960 death and destruction. You're not going to tell me this is the party of the least of these, 0.78

00:49:00.400 the party of the most vulnerable and the marginalized, the anti-racist, poor, pro-impoverished,

00:49:08.860 compassionate, empathetic party. It's a party of destruction and chaos and decay. And it's so

00:49:15.300 hard for me to see how someone can't see that and how a Nashville pastor like Ray Ortlund, who I know

00:49:22.460 knows his Bible, can endorse something like this, can endorse Kamala Harris. Really?

00:49:28.760 Go back and listen to yesterday's episode or watch it if you haven't already.

00:49:36.080 Just to reiterate, porn's destruction and why big porn is on Kamala Harris's side. Let's look at some 0.99

00:49:45.220 of the laws that have actually been passed. Over a third of U.S. states, including North Carolina and

00:49:50.040 Georgia, have enacted age verification laws to prevent minors from accessing online porn.

00:49:54.560 And pornography behemoth Pornhub has outright stopped operating in many of those states.

00:50:00.020 So if we have to make sure that children can't see porn, Pornhub is saying, well, we're just going

00:50:07.860 to take our ball and go home. We're not even going to operate in those states. Huh? That tells us

00:50:13.000 something about their priorities. When Utah passed age verification laws last year, Pornhub's parent

00:50:18.700 company then called MindGeek, now called ALO, blocked access in Utah to Pornhub and a number

00:50:24.540 of other pornographic websites it owned. So they're so mad about this that children might have a harder

00:50:29.860 time accessing porn on Pornhub that they said, OK, we're not going to allow anyone to access it,

00:50:35.820 which I, of course, think is a huge win in those states. And they know that porn addicted men will be

00:50:43.100 so angry about this that they will put pressure on their legislators to try to take away these age 0.88

00:50:49.360 verification laws so Pornhub will come back. Pornhub has also shut down in Arkansas, Louisiana,

00:50:54.480 Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Praise God. When internet users visit

00:50:59.320 the site, they are now met with a message criticizing the state's laws barring minors

00:51:02.920 from accessing porn and urging porn users to contact their state representatives to complain.

00:51:07.960 Wow. Here's why these laws matter. Child protection and anti-trafficking advocates have

00:51:14.380 observed that pornography creates a heightened demand for human trafficking, including child

00:51:18.200 trafficking. Of course it does. You know, some of the most popular videos and categories on Pornhub

00:51:23.960 have to do with children or have to do with teens and have to do with possibly adults dressing up like

00:51:31.800 children. It's sick. Pornhub and its parent company admitted in federal court last year that the 0.68

00:51:37.900 companies profit from illegal sex trafficking. Pornhub hosted videos from a sex trafficking

00:51:43.000 pornography production company and profited from those videos. In January, investigative journalist

00:51:49.860 Arden Young, we've had her on the podcast. We'll link this episode from Sound Investigations came on

00:51:55.300 came on the show and discussed her expose series on Pornhub and a series of eight videos. She went

00:52:01.660 undercover to find out the truth about Pornhub's practices. They admitted that porn is in fact

00:52:07.100 addictive. They're fully aware of rapists and pedophiles using loopholes to upload illegal

00:52:12.300 content. And then her investigation also found that Pornhub's employees admit that they target

00:52:18.440 pedophiles in the company's advertising. Pornhub execs have also admitted that they purposely

00:52:26.480 try to reel in porn users, male porn users who typically only look at, you know, heterosexual content.

00:52:34.720 They try to target them with trans advertising and with homosexual advertising to try to get them 0.99

00:52:41.320 addicted to that kind of pornography. They're doing Satan's work every day in the darkest and most 0.98

00:52:49.680 demonic form. And what side of the aisle is this industry on? The same side of the aisle of Call Her

00:52:57.640 Daddy, the same side of the aisle as Planned Parenthood. Of course, child sacrifice and sexual 1.00

00:53:05.560 degeneracy always go hand in hand. And these industries that profit from those things love Kamala Harris. 1.00

00:53:14.080 Not the guy who everyone says has the sexually sorted past because he does, but not the guy who everyone

00:53:23.200 says is awful, is terrible, is the antichrist himself that we can't vote for because of his

00:53:30.280 own personal past. Look, I'm looking at the policies. I'm looking at the worst industry, the worst

00:53:37.080 organizations, the worst people in the world and which side they're on. Like that alone, I think,

00:53:44.020 makes it pretty darn clear. Pretty darn clear. All right. We've just got one more quick thing to

00:53:51.560 talk about. And it is, I mean, speaking of sex pests, Bill Clinton, he's got something interesting

00:53:58.060 to say about the Kamala Harris campaign. It's probably going to surprise you. Let me tell you

00:54:02.060 about our last sponsor for the day first. That is my Patriot Supply. Our country doesn't seem to be

00:54:08.860 going in the greatest direction, although hopefully we make a really good decision in the next couple

00:54:14.020 of weeks and we change the direction of the country for the better. But you always want to be prepared.

00:54:20.060 We don't know what's going to happen with these calamities that have been happening across the

00:54:25.080 country. As far as the weather events go, it's showing us how important it is to be prepared

00:54:30.940 for our family with a proper food supply. That's why you need the three-month emergency food kit from

00:54:36.860 my Patriot Supply. It comes with delicious food like creamy stroganoff, honey wheat bread,

00:54:42.960 mushroom rice pilaf. The entire kit offers over 2,000 calories a day. You need to get one kit for

00:54:49.960 every member of your family. Go to preparewithally.com for a discount on your three-month emergency food

00:54:58.240 kit. Go to preparewithally.com. So Bill Clinton is campaigning for Kamala Harris, of course, and he

00:55:09.440 was campaigning in Georgia. He's got his camo hat and he's talking to a group of voters about

00:55:18.020 immigration, which of course is a big concern for a lot of people. Someone asked him about Lake and

00:55:23.120 Riley, of course, the poor young woman that was just on a jog in Athens, Georgia, and she was

00:55:27.420 murdered on a Sunday morning by a Venezuelan illegal alien. I still can't believe that happened. It's

00:55:34.880 just so sad. Thanks, Kamala Harris, Bordersar, for that. He was asked about this, and interestingly,

00:55:41.720 here's what he said. It's not one.

00:55:43.820 You had a case in Georgia not very long ago, didn't you? They made an ad about a

00:55:47.600 young woman who'd been killed by an immigrant? Yeah, well, if they'd all been properly vetted, 1.00

00:55:54.340 that probably wouldn't have happened. But if they all properly vetted, and that doesn't happen,

00:56:01.620 and America is not having enough babies to keep our populations up, so we need immigrants that 0.99

00:56:08.840 have been vetted to do work, there wouldn't be a problem. And he couldn't keep people all torn up

00:56:16.980 and upset. Go to bed. Go to bed. I don't think you even know what you're saying. I think that you,

00:56:24.780 I think he realized what he said, and then he was like, but we need immigrants to mow the lawn. 0.96

00:56:31.580 That's basically his argument. You know, you've seen that on X. That's basically the argument

00:56:36.480 that is being made. It's being made with J.D. Vance in his Sunday interviews, which he is just

00:56:43.840 crushing, by the way. It's actually stunning that any of these networks are allowing him on. I'm

00:56:49.480 like, he's making y'all look so dumb. But he's doing a great job, and I'm very grateful for that. 0.98

00:56:54.580 I mean, he's incredibly articulate. And the way that they are trying to minimize the illegal immigration

00:57:00.220 problem and trying to say, well, who's going to farm for us? Who's going to be our cheap labor?

00:57:07.420 They're not going to be able to hire people. And J.D. Vance's point over and over again is like,

00:57:11.060 yeah, these companies aren't going to be able to pay these under the table wages,

00:57:16.420 because that's the thing is that these illegal immigrants will come over and they'll work for 0.99

00:57:21.680 any amount of money. And Americans can't work for that low amount of money. They need more money than

00:57:28.420 that. And that's why these major companies love illegal immigration. And so, I mean, J.D. Vance's

00:57:36.540 argument is like, yeah, that's not a good justification. That's a very sorry justification

00:57:41.500 for not caring about the sovereignty and protection and security of our country. But that's basically

00:57:48.580 what it comes down to. And oh, we're not having enough babies, so we have to replace them with

00:57:54.980 people from third world countries? How about let's stop aborting our babies? How about that? 1.00

00:57:59.820 How about let's stop with this anti-natalist, anti-baby policy and rhetoric that is so pervasive

00:58:08.260 on the progressive side? Like, let's fix that. There's a lot of things that I think we could fix

00:58:13.400 both personally and politically before we say, yeah, we just need to import a bunch of non-Americans 1.00

00:58:20.020 into the United States and that'll be our new country. That's not right. That's not what someone

00:58:26.140 who loves this country thinks. But he obviously indicted Harris there, our border czar, when he

00:58:34.280 said, oh, he wasn't properly vetted. Yeah, duh, because we don't have border enforcement right now

00:58:39.760 thanks to our current administration who undermines every effort by the border states to protect their

00:58:47.260 borders. And so when they are incentivized, when illegal aliens are incentivized to come here 0.51

00:58:52.640 illegally and cross the border, there's going to be a large surge of them. And we don't have the 1.00

00:58:57.360 manpower. We don't have the ability to vet them. And the policy is catch and release. They're being

00:59:02.280 released into the United States saying to come back at some time for a court date, and they just don't.

00:59:07.620 And because they are undocumented, there's really no way to ensure that they are deported or that they 1.00

00:59:16.600 are given the documents necessary to be here legally. And of course, when that happens,

00:59:21.800 you get Lake and Riley, you get Molly Tibbetts, you get Kate Steinle. That was the most surprising

00:59:29.540 chapter for me as I was writing it. I was the most incensed and the most passionate, I think,

00:59:35.560 when I was writing the immigration chapter, which was a surprise to me. It's not something that we

00:59:40.080 talk about as much as the other subjects in this book, like abortion, like gender. And yet, as I was

00:59:45.140 writing it, it was just, it's so obvious to me how unjust and how broken our system is, how obvious it

00:59:52.180 should be to anyone, but especially a Christian who worships a God of order, that borderlessness is 0.98

00:59:57.640 wrong and unloving and hateful and cruel towards your neighbors. Loving your neighbor does not mean

01:00:03.380 selling out your fellow citizens for people who have no interest in assimilating and no interest in 1.00

01:00:13.240 respecting our laws in the U.S. That's not what loving your neighbor means. That's not what loving

01:00:22.100 the sojourner means either. And I explain that very thoroughly in the immigration chapter of this book,

01:00:28.360 the one that people seem to be very upset about on X because I said that no human is illegal is a lie

01:00:35.220 because of course it is a lie. We are given laws in governments and countries and borders by the God

01:00:41.320 who loves us and who wants human beings to thrive and to come to know him. So order this book,

01:00:48.820 Toxic Empathy, wherever books are sold. And thanks, Bill Clinton. In your old age, you have said

01:00:54.380 something that is true. Bill Clinton, by the way, also passed the 1996 or signed the 1996 immigration

01:01:02.340 law, which actually helped America out a whole lot and helped them deport a lot of illegal aliens and

01:01:08.280 criminals. Democrats have fallen a long way, and it's largely because of this toxic empathy that has

01:01:15.040 convinced people to be progressive in the name of compassion in a way that has really, really been

01:01:23.060 detrimental to our country. So you can go to toxikempathy.com and check that out. Thank you

01:01:28.280 guys so much. We'll be back here tomorrow.
