00:00:01.000 Parental rights and First Amendment rights are hanging in the balance at the Supreme
00:00:05.680 Court and in the Colorado legislature.
00:00:08.280 We will be going through the Supreme Court case, as well as the various bills in Colorado
00:00:13.360 today and why they really, really matter, especially for children.
00:00:18.660 We've got all of this and more on today's episode of Relatable.
00:00:30.000 Hey, y'all.
00:00:32.160 Welcome to Relatable.
00:00:33.080 Happy Wednesday.
00:00:34.240 Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.
00:00:37.600 All right.
00:00:38.280 I want to remind you guys to subscribe to blazetv.com slash Allie.
00:00:43.080 We have a beautiful, very unique new special out with author Danielle Hitchens.
00:00:48.420 She writes some of my favorite children's books ever, the Baby Believer books.
00:00:53.260 They're incredible primers on theology, but also she uses shapes and emotions and sounds
00:01:00.840 and all different kinds of things.
00:01:02.220 So you are simultaneously teaching your children biblical truth and historical Christianity,
00:01:07.560 as well as all of the other good things that you want them to learn, like their numbers
00:01:12.560 and their letters.
00:01:13.980 And in this particular special, we are talking about the church calendar.
00:01:17.820 So how to base your life and your family's life off of the historic church calendar, the
00:01:26.420 liturgical calendar, rather than the craziness and the chaos of your school or work or sports
00:01:32.560 schedules.
00:01:33.580 And it's just a beautiful reminder that the pace of our lives should be driven by Christ.
00:01:41.080 And to really slow things down and to live a life of stability and peace based on the
00:01:48.960 celebrations that the Christian life is based on.
00:01:52.420 So I just really loved the conversation.
00:01:55.620 I found it to be very enlightening and educational for me and certainly a different perspective for
00:02:02.700 how we conduct the rhythms in our homes.
00:02:05.740 And so we've got that as well as other content that is exclusive to Blaze TV subscribers.
00:02:11.980 It's really important to us that you subscribe to Blaze TV.
00:02:15.100 I mean, it means a lot to us because it's a different kind of community there.
00:02:18.900 I'm so thankful for everyone who watches on YouTube and watches on Apple Podcasts.
00:02:23.100 It's really important to me to have a free version of this podcast for everyone to be able to access.
00:02:28.900 But we can put different kind of content behind the paywall.
00:02:32.020 And it's also a way to protect ourselves from censorship.
00:02:34.720 While we still get to disseminate this show on places like YouTube and Apple Podcasts and Spotify,
00:02:40.660 you just never know how long that is going to last and what's going to be the final straw
00:02:46.140 before they say, nope, we're suppressing this or we're taking your show down.
00:02:50.560 And if you subscribe to Blaze TV, then that ensures that you will always be able to see
00:02:55.460 not only this podcast, but also the exclusive content that I and many others like Glenn Beck
00:03:00.440 and Steve Dace and Liz Wheeler are putting out for subscribers.
00:03:04.060 So if you go to blazetv.com slash Allie, you can subscribe, get access to all that content,
00:03:08.820 and you'll also get a discount on that subscription when you do that.
00:03:13.880 Okay, before we get into our stories, I do just want to remind you ladies out there,
00:03:18.840 it's time to sign up for Share the Arrows.
00:03:21.100 You've been thinking about it.
00:03:22.260 You've been wondering, should I do it?
00:03:23.640 You've been like, I don't really don't like flying, which I don't blame you at all.
00:03:27.580 You know, I have my long list of airport rules and air travel attire that people should
00:03:32.020 be wearing. And unfortunately, people break those rules chronically. So if you're like,
00:03:36.780 I don't know if I want to get on a plane and see someone's bare feet, I understand.
00:03:40.540 And let me tell you how awesome this conference is. This conference would be worth you getting
00:03:44.880 on an airplane sitting for two hours next to someone barefoot. Yeah, yeah. And that's coming
00:03:50.300 from me. Okay. That's how amazing this conference is going to be. So no matter where you live,
00:03:55.560 I think it is well worth it for you to take the road trip, for you to fly all the way to Dallas,
00:04:02.240 Texas. And the location, Allen, Texas is really close to the airport. So it's very convenient.
00:04:08.380 Share the arrows. We're going to have apologist Elisa Childers. I mean, she absolutely brought 0.98
00:04:13.080 it last year. I was like, got to bring her back. Y'all loved her so much. Ginger Duggar Volo. She's
00:04:18.040 been on the show several times. Y'all know who she is. Her incredible testimony.
00:04:21.440 Shawna Holman, Taylor Dukes. How do we approach health, holistic healing from a biblical perspective?
00:04:28.280 Also, two women with incredible testimonies. Katie Faust, we've had her on several times. She is one 0.99
00:04:34.180 of your and my favorite guests talking about how we have child-centered politics and how we must
00:04:41.340 think about the well-being of children over the wants of adults, especially when it comes to
00:04:47.400 reproductive technology. Worship led by Francesca Battistelli, which is just otherworldly incredible.
00:04:54.080 And then we've got two more women that will be on a panel about motherhood and homemaking and how 1.00
00:04:59.360 to lead our families as, lead our children as mothers well and how to love our husbands well. And so
00:05:06.380 it's just going to be amazing. There's so many women's conferences out there and a lot of them are 0.79
00:05:11.060 really awesome. But it is unique, I believe, to have a women's conference that isn't just focused
00:05:18.820 on self-esteem, isn't just focused on high emotions, but is rather focused on equipping women with deep
00:05:26.400 theology, with serious apologetics, with practical wisdom that you can apply to both the private and
00:05:32.640 the public sphere, no matter where God has called you. Whether you are married and a mom or not,
00:05:37.920 whether you're single, whether you are 18 or whether you are 88 years old, like this is the
00:05:43.800 women's conference for you. I will be speaking as well. And I'm just so excited. I love seeing your
00:05:49.520 faces. I love meeting you. It's an amazing, amazing conference and I don't want you to miss it. So
00:05:55.300 related bros out there, get your wife, share the arrows tickets, get her to share the arrows tickets in 0.99
00:05:59.640 case she wants to bring a friend. And if you are related girl out there, go ahead and get your 1.00
00:06:03.060 tickets, share the arrows.com. That's share the arrows.com. All right. Now, without further ado,
00:06:09.600 we will actually get into the stories that we have to get into today. And I'll call on Brie to bring
00:06:14.400 in some clarity when needed. There's a lot of new stuff that we haven't covered. Yesterday, we went
00:06:18.980 into King of Kings. And so if you want to know about that movie, whether you should bring your kids to
00:06:22.760 see it, go back, listen to or watch that episode. But now we're finally going to get into some
00:06:27.320 political and news items that we've been meaning to talk about and just haven't had time. So first,
00:06:31.660 I want to talk about this case that SCOTUS is hearing right now, Mahmood versus Taylor. And
00:06:37.720 this has to do with LGBTQ plus content books in school libraries. So quite the intersection of
00:06:46.840 the things that we talk about on this show. Here's a summary. Yesterday, the Supreme Court
00:06:51.100 heard arguments in a case addressing whether Montgomery County public schools in Maryland
00:06:54.400 violated parents' First Amendment right to free exercise of religion by not allowing parents to
00:06:59.260 opt their children out of lessons involving LGBT plus storybooks, according to SCOTUS blog. And this
00:07:06.540 is a very reliable source of information for what's going on at SCOTUS. When the county announced in
00:07:12.520 2023 that it would not allow parents to opt to have their opt to have their children excused from
00:07:20.120 instruction involving the storybooks, a group of Muslim, Catholic and Ukrainian Orthodox parents went to
00:07:25.280 federal court on the grounds that not allowing parents to opt out of this curriculum for their
00:07:31.460 children violated their First Amendment rights. Two of these books include one where a girl attends her
00:07:37.460 uncle's gay wedding and another titled Pride Puppy, where a puppy gets lost at a pride parade.
00:07:44.620 So this case has now made its way up to the Supreme Court. And yesterday, Justice Brett Kavanaugh brought up
00:07:50.860 in the hearing that there are other situations where parents can opt out of certain curriculum,
00:07:56.940 but it's a little strange when it comes to LGBTQ center curriculum in Montgomery County and Maryland
00:08:02.640 that these parents apparently weren't able to opt out. Here's SOTUS.
00:08:06.540 The country has opt outs for all sorts of things. The county has opt outs for all sorts of things.
00:08:12.080 The other Maryland counties have opt outs for all sorts of things.
00:08:15.040 And yet for this one thing, they changed in mid year and say no more opt outs. I'm just not
00:08:22.860 understanding feasibility. And here, they're not asking you to change what's taught in the classroom.
00:08:28.680 They're not asking you to change that at all. A lot of the rhetoric suggests that they might have
00:08:33.880 that they were trying to do that, but that's not what they're trying to do. They're only seeking to be
00:08:39.740 able to walk out so that they don't have to. The parents don't have their children exposed to these
00:08:46.040 things that are contrary to their own beliefs.
00:08:49.520 These parents are being represented by a law firm called Beckett. It's a nonprofit, nonpartisan law firm
00:08:56.860 that they say that they protect the free expression of all religious traditions. And Kristen Wagner is the
00:09:03.700 CEO of Alliance Defending Freedom. And while they are not directly involved in this case, this falls under
00:09:09.640 the purview of what they do. And so she offered insight on X about this. Kristen Wagner says,
00:09:17.100 anyone who cares about parental rights or religious liberty should be aware of a major case on today's
00:09:22.060 docket at the U.S. Supreme Court. And Mahmood v. Taylor Beckett is representing a diverse group of
00:09:28.100 parents against the school board of Montgomery County, Maryland in 2023. So some of this is repetitive.
00:09:33.720 The board announced, contrary to Maryland law and the Constitution, that it would no longer allow
00:09:38.580 parents to opt their children out of sensitive lessons regarding gender or sexuality. Essentially,
00:09:43.460 the school board has mandated a new orthodoxy of belief, which must be taught to all children,
00:09:49.180 even against parents' wishes. Practically, this looks like three and four-year-olds, so even
00:09:54.400 preschoolers that are going to these public institutions, viewing picture books that promote
00:09:59.580 pride parades, elementary-aged children being taught about, quote-unquote, gender transitions,
00:10:04.800 and children who express opposing views being told their families' values are hurtful. ADF Legal has
00:10:12.880 filed an amicus brief, and we fully support Beckett's important advocacy in this case. The ruling in
00:10:17.960 Mahmood could significantly bolster our own efforts to fight another egregious abuse of parental rights
00:10:23.440 at school, the secret social transitioning of children behind their parents' backs. And she said this was on
00:10:29.540 the 22nd. So yesterday, I'm praying for today's argument. May justice be done, and may the families
00:10:34.380 prevail. Yes and amen. Praying that right along with her. Alan Schoenfeld, who is the attorney
00:10:44.200 representing the Maryland School Board, who of course is saying, nope, can't opt out of this. You have to be
00:10:50.020 indoctrinated with these beliefs. He maintained in his arguments that the school board had tried to
00:10:55.980 allow parents to opt out of instruction, but it wasn't feasible, he said, due to the sheer amount
00:11:04.320 or sheer number of students that were opting out. He said it wasn't possible for school officials to
00:11:09.440 make arrangements for the space, supervision, and alternate instruction needed for the many
00:11:13.300 students who would opt out. Okay, well, that's probably indicating a problem, right? If this many
00:11:20.880 parents of this many backgrounds at your public institution are saying, this is revolting to us,
00:11:26.720 this is offensive to us, we don't want our kids learning this, well then, I don't know, maybe you
00:11:31.420 shouldn't be teaching kids that. What's important here is that this is basically a religious doctrine
00:11:37.280 that a public institution is forcing children to imbibe. Remember this, okay? Secularism is not 0.97
00:11:46.080 neutral. Whenever you hear people saying, oh, well, your religious views, your Christianity
00:11:53.480 shouldn't affect curriculum or it shouldn't affect the law. Look, a worldview, a religion is going to
00:12:00.860 affect every policy and every law. There is nothing that is neutral. Every law, every policy that we have
00:12:06.560 on the books reflects what someone thinks about right and wrong, which is based upon their beliefs,
00:12:13.460 their philosophical beliefs, their religious beliefs, even atheism itself isn't neutral. An atheist still
00:12:20.380 has their own beliefs about what is right and what is wrong, and that is based on their own personal
00:12:25.480 belief system. So the question is, which worldview wins? And so secular progressivism has its own
00:12:33.300 assumptions. It has its own mantras, its own dogmas. The idea, for example, that a boy can become a girl
00:12:40.540 is not a scientific, neutral, secular viewpoint. I mean, I guess you could say it is secular,
00:12:46.420 but it's certainly not neutral or scientific. That is a superstitious belief. The idea that a baby
00:12:51.620 doesn't really become human until they pass through the birth canal isn't based on objective
00:12:56.220 fact or science. Like, that is your own personal subjective belief. And so you're saying, you secular,
00:13:03.080 progressive teacher, administrator, politician, that your worldview has the right to dominate,
00:13:09.320 but if a Christian says, actually, no, I think that my idea, my Christian biblical idea of life
00:13:14.800 inside the womb and the immutability of gender, that that's a better argument, that that should 0.81
00:13:19.600 prevail, that that enacts the least amount of harm on children. And so I want that to define our policy.
00:13:26.200 All of a sudden, that's Christian nationalism and that's fascism. What I think is so interesting and 0.99
00:13:31.400 actually important about this case is that you do have people of all different kinds of backgrounds,
00:13:35.660 that you do have Muslim parents that are coming forward and saying, absolutely not. My children 0.93
00:13:40.480 are not going to be a part of this. And while I don't think that that should be necessary in
00:13:44.900 creating a compelling argument for a lot of people who are just instinctively anti-Christian and who
00:13:50.000 think Christians are the only ones that have a problem with LGBTQ stuff, this does make it more 1.00
00:13:55.360 credible, which is why I think the majority of justices do seem to be sympathetic to the parents.
00:14:01.000 Justices Sotomayor and Jackson, of course, they are extremely progressive. They are activists.
00:14:08.640 They don't care at all really about the Constitution when you look at their arguments. They argue that
00:14:12.920 exposure to these books did not amount to coercion and express concerns about how far
00:14:17.160 the parents' opt-out request could extend. Well, it can extend as far as they want it to.
00:14:23.140 I think that's fine. Now, you might have a problem if a parent doesn't want their child to learn a
00:14:27.240 certain thing. You might disagree with that, but that's not your child. That's not your child.
00:14:31.480 And of course, in all of this, I think every parent that possibly can, and not every parent
00:14:35.680 can, but every parent that possibly can should ensure that their child has, if you're a Christian,
00:14:40.680 a Christian education, whether that's at home, whether that's a hybrid situation, or whether
00:14:44.700 that is in a Christian school. That doesn't mean that education is going to be perfect, but it is
00:14:49.400 going to have the same biblical basis idea that you are, so you're not having to battle against your
00:14:54.240 teachers who are actively seeking to disciple your child's mind with an anti-biblical worldview.
00:15:00.920 Not all teachers, but the system in general, that's exactly what they're trying to do. And so
00:15:05.800 this just goes to show the public school system is willing to literally go to the Supreme Court to
00:15:12.920 fight to teach your four- and five-year-old that they can butcher their bodies and become the opposite 0.98
00:15:18.140 gender. That's how much the left cares about this. They care about butchering and perverting your 1.00
00:15:23.880 child so much that they will literally fight for their right to do so, to force your child to learn
00:15:31.320 this stuff all the way up to the Supreme Court, okay? So if you have something in your mind, this
00:15:36.260 delusion in your mind that the left has maybe laid down since Donald Trump became president, that they're
00:15:41.000 taking a step back. No. They want to coerce your child into believing things that are not true and
00:15:47.780 destructive for them, and they will go to every single link to do that. And you need to be willing
00:15:53.840 to fight just as hard to protect your child's mind and to indoctrinate, that means place doctrines in
00:15:59.380 them that are good and right and true. Because if you are not discipling your children, someone else
00:16:04.980 will. If you are not protecting your children, Satan is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for
00:16:10.840 someone to devour, and children are extremely vulnerable. That's why they're always the
00:16:15.660 unconsenting subjects of progressive social experiments. God has placed you in their lives,
00:16:20.720 parents, to protect them from the predation of bad actors who only want bad things for them. So
00:16:26.280 good for these parents who I'm sure I have plenty of disagreements with theologically, but they're
00:16:31.120 fighting for their kids, and I'm very thankful for that. Thank you to Beckett. Thank you to ADF and to
00:16:36.640 all the organizations, First Liberty, all the organizations that fight for our First Amendment
00:16:40.600 rights, I'm very thankful for them. All right, we've got some other crazy laws just showing you
00:16:45.280 how far progressives will go to promote evil. And if you think that's too much of a black and white 0.89
00:16:51.160 statement, just wait till you hear what's happening in Colorado. Let me pause and tell you about our
00:16:55.340 first sponsor for the day, and that is Adele Natural Cosmetics. Y'all know how much I love Adele. One of the
00:17:01.280 products that I use the most comes from Adele, and that is the Everyday Cleanser, the oil-based
00:17:08.140 cleanser that I use every morning, every night. And you can use it as many times as you want
00:17:13.080 throughout the day, unlike some other facial cleansers, because it doesn't strip your skin down the way
00:17:17.860 other facial cleansers do, because it's oil-based. It's got olive oil in it. It's got other natural
00:17:22.900 ingredients. You will never find anything fake in Adele Natural Cosmetics. You're not going to find
00:17:27.940 synthetic perfumes or any endocrine disruptors. It really is good for your skin. It is all handcrafted in
00:17:35.820 Texas by this family-owned business. It's owned by Arlene and her family. They are the real deal
00:17:42.040 salt of the earth, unapologetic, pro-life Christians. They love America. They share our values, and they
00:17:48.400 make top-notch products. I use their oil-based cleanser. I use their Everyday Moisturizing Spray.
00:17:56.820 I love their serums. It's all really good. And when I'm not in the studio, I use their
00:18:01.820 moisturizing foundation, their bronzer stick, their blush. I really like it, especially if you're
00:18:08.000 going for that natural glowy look. It is just the best. Also, their Blue Lagoon line is amazing.
00:18:14.660 Their Blue Lagoon Face Balm is a must-have for your skincare collection. It smells really good.
00:18:19.760 It is ultra moisturizing. Now, just for the month of April, you can get this Blue Lagoon Face Balm
00:18:26.440 for free with your order. If you spend $135 or more, it is well worth your investment. Good,
00:18:34.020 high-quality natural skincare. It's going to cost more, but it is worth it for how good it is for
00:18:39.820 your body. So if you spend $135 or more, you'll get that Blue Lagoon Face Balm. Go to
00:18:45.640 adelnaturalcosmetics.com. When you use my code ALLY, you'll get 25% off your first-time purchase.
00:18:52.160 That's A-D-E-L, naturalcosmetics.com, code ALLY.
00:19:02.320 So we won't know the results of that Supreme Court case, the decision on it, probably until
00:19:07.620 about mid-June. Right now, there's a lot going on in the state of Colorado. And y'all, there's a book,
00:19:14.280 I forget what it's called, someone out there probably knows, but it's a book about how Colorado,
00:19:18.160 which used to be this deep red, mostly rural mountain state with good, good-hearted salt-of-the-earth
00:19:27.320 mountain people turned blue. And yes, it's demographics. People just moved in from places
00:19:34.780 like California. Also, the homegrown people there became more progressive. But there was a whole
00:19:39.600 strategy to turn Colorado blue. And it is a very sad state of things. Because just like in places
00:19:48.940 like Washington and Oregon and even California, you have a lot of good, traditional, conservative
00:19:55.620 people who have lived there for a long time and have seen many of their beloved towns like Denver,
00:20:02.520 like Colorado Springs, even like Boulder, deteriorate because of progressive policies.
00:20:09.580 And Colorado has become one of the most rabidly progressive states. Brie notes that the book
00:20:18.820 might be, I actually don't know if it was Brie or Kimberly who put this in, but the blueprint,
00:20:24.020 how the Democrats won Colorado and why Republicans everywhere should care. I think that is the title
00:20:29.160 of the book that I was referencing. I'm sure it has a lot of interesting, interesting insights for
00:20:36.340 you, whether that was the book that I was originally referencing or not. But here's what's going on that
00:20:41.560 indicates just how far left Colorado has gotten. So this month, four Colorado bills, which aim to
00:20:48.160 enhance protections and access to, that's euphemistic language, to quote unquote gender affirming care,
00:20:55.680 reproductive health care, transgender rights were voted on. So if we want to break down what those
00:21:01.660 euphemisms actually mean, because none of them are true, you're not, if you are affirming your
00:21:06.960 gender, you don't need surgery to do that. You are the gender that you were at conception. So that means 0.82
00:21:12.660 butchering bodies, reproductive health care, that means butchering the bodies of babies inside the womb 1.00
00:21:17.360 and transgender rights, the denial of reality. So all these bills are voted on in Colorado. 0.99
00:21:22.420 One has passed and is awaiting signature. That's the abortion one, awaiting signature from the 0.94
00:21:28.080 governor. One has passed with amendments, sent back to the Senate, and two are pending Senate
00:21:32.720 approval. So some of these are still vulnerable to not getting passed, and we don't want them to
00:21:38.380 get passed. And so as I go through them, if you are living in the state of Colorado, you need to call
00:21:42.460 your state senators, the people who represent you, and make sure that your voice is heard. And we will
00:21:48.280 talk about some efforts that are happening right now in Colorado churches trying to stop these bills
00:21:53.500 because they really are so destructive and evil. So let's look at HB 25 first. This is called Protect
00:22:00.900 Access to Gender Affirming Health Care. Whenever you see that word access used by progressives,
00:22:07.640 what they mean is that they are forcing you to pay for something. They're forcing the taxpayer to pay for
00:22:13.160 something to pay for transition, so-called, or to pay for abortion. And this grants access to people
00:22:19.940 who maybe wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it without the help of taxpayer dollars or without
00:22:26.320 the state forcing, say, insurance companies to cover the cost of these procedures. So this bill
00:22:32.800 codifies protections for gender-affirming health care in state law. It mandates that all health insurance
00:22:38.820 plans in Colorado cover, quote, medically necessary gender-affirming care. Well, no,
00:22:45.220 no gender-affirming care is medically necessary, as determined by a healthcare provider, including
00:22:51.200 hormone therapy, psychiatric care, and surgeries like facial, breast, or genital reconstruction. If
00:22:57.040 you have not listened to my conversations with several detransitioners, then I encourage you, 1.00
00:23:02.780 please go back and do that. My conversation with Daisy, my conversation with Soren,
00:23:06.940 my conversation with Laura Perry-Smalt, and you will see that the endocrinologist, that the
00:23:12.160 psychiatrists, that the medical professionals that approved their surgeries and approved their
00:23:18.000 transitions were not doing so because these things were medically necessary, but because they are
00:23:22.620 ideologically captured and motivated, okay? Anything can be medically necessary if you have a worldview that
00:23:29.480 tells you that you can feel something that is different than your biological reality, and that that
00:23:34.540 internal feeling actually trumps biological reality. So all of these words are very malleable. Here are
00:23:41.180 the things that health insurance companies must provide, are coerced to provide by the Colorado state
00:23:48.820 government if this bill passes. So hormone therapy, so a man being injected with artificial estrogen that
00:23:56.380 would make him appear more like a woman, never really looks like a woman. So blepharoplasty, eye and lid, 0.79
00:24:06.500 forehead or neck, skin tightening, facial bone remodeling, genioplasty. It can be different kinds of
00:24:16.280 facial reconstruction, lip lift or augmentation. Medically necessary, y'all. Mandibular angle
00:24:25.500 augmentation. So these are all different kinds of facial reconstruction. Rhinoplasty, hair removal,
00:24:31.380 breast augmentation, reduction or reconstruction, genital and non-genital surgical procedures. I'm
00:24:37.940 going to let you in on a little secret. If you have to have any of those things to look like a particular
00:24:42.680 gender, you probably aren't. You just probably aren't. Like if you're a man whose face needs to 1.00
00:24:49.060 be broken and reconstructed to look like some kind of semblance of a female, you were never meant to be 1.00
00:24:57.020 that. And I say that in love. It might be harsh, but I say it in love because a God created you as a man
00:25:04.380 at the moment of conception and you will never ever be a woman. It doesn't matter what you wear. It doesn't 0.99
00:25:09.280 matter what you sound like. It doesn't matter what surgeries you get. You will never be a woman. No 1.00
00:25:14.660 one will even ever see you as a woman. And even the people in your life that call you she, her or call
00:25:19.040 you Kelly or Stacy or Jamie or whatever it is, they don't even believe that you're a woman. And they
00:25:24.160 would be offended if someone told them that they look like a trans woman. I just want you to realize 0.72
00:25:28.560 that and that you are a man and that you are more handsome as a man and that you are needed as a man
00:25:34.820 and your masculinity is a good thing. And I'm sorry if anyone ever hurt you and told you that
00:25:39.240 it wasn't. And the same exact thing applies to a woman who is trying to be a man. You are a woman 0.99
00:25:44.580 and I'm sure that has been weaponized against you. Maybe you have been a victim of assault, but you
00:25:48.680 will never ever be the opposite sex. And I have talked to so many broken men and women who believe 0.64
00:25:54.180 the lie that they could become the opposite sex, that everyone else was wrong and they were right. 1.00
00:25:58.620 And their internal feelings were right. That were exacerbated by their pornography use,
00:26:03.260 by the abuse that they endured, whatever it was. And it's a lie. Okay. It's a delusion and you could
00:26:10.040 be rendered permanently sterile. You will never, ever recover from some of these surgeries. And
00:26:16.200 your body as a man is not meant to house all of that estrogen. Your body as a woman is not meant to 1.00
00:26:21.700 house all of that testosterone. It is physically bad for you. It is mentally bad for you. It is
00:26:25.940 spiritually bad for you. You were made in God's image. You were bought with a price by Jesus Christ on the
00:26:32.180 cross and he cares for you and nothing you have ever done makes you too far off or beyond redemption
00:26:38.320 or salvation. So I want you to recognize that you are a man or woman made in God's image, that you are
00:26:43.360 loved by God and you can be saved by Jesus. Okay. And I don't want you to keep going down this path and
00:26:49.380 any law that makes it easier for someone to get further and further from who they are biologically
00:26:56.400 and further and further into delusion, we should oppose. And it's not because we hate people.
00:27:02.760 It's actually because we love them and we know that God's ways are always better. And if we love
00:27:06.920 our neighbor, we want God's ways for our neighbor. And yes, that does mean through policy. Remember,
00:27:12.140 no policy is neutral. And so Christians have every right and every responsibility to try to infuse truth
00:27:18.320 and light and goodness into policymaking in the state of Colorado and elsewhere. And then there's
00:27:24.320 another part of HB 25. This is 1312. So the other segment that I just described was 1309. This is
00:27:31.080 1312. It's known as the Kelly Loving Act. It was passed by the Colorado House on April 6th, and it now
00:27:39.620 awaits review in the Colorado Senate. And so this is a very, very scary part of this bill. The courts must
00:27:46.520 consider deadnaming all these euphemisms, misgendering, threats to publish material related to gender
00:27:53.520 affirming health care. So like outing someone as coercive control when determining parenting time
00:28:00.420 and child custody. So they must determine, they must look at all of these things when they are
00:28:06.680 determining parental custody and like a divorce custody battle. When it comes to how these parents
00:28:13.620 treat their children, courts shall evaluate reports of coercive control to allocate parental
00:28:18.080 responsibilities based on the child's best interests, but coercive control. So they could
00:28:24.540 accuse a parent of coercive control. Like if a parent, for example, threatens to publish the individual's
00:28:33.120 sensitive personal information, including sexually explicit material or material related to gender
00:28:37.820 affirming health care services or make reports to the police or authorities or deadnaming or misgendering
00:28:42.440 the individual or individual's child or relative. Okay. So if a parent in a custody battle is either
00:28:50.840 calling the other parents, say a woman in a custody battle, she's getting a divorce from her husband who now
00:28:57.020 has declared that he is a woman, his name is Sally. If she keeps on referring to him as Frank, keeps on saying
00:29:02.900 he, him, or say they have a child who claims that they are gender confused. And the little boy named Jack
00:29:09.400 now says that his name is Gracie and the mom refuses to go along with it, refuses to call this child by this
00:29:17.920 new name, then the judge has to, according to this law, consider that when allocating custody to each
00:29:25.540 parent. So the parent who acknowledges reality, acknowledges the reality of their ex-spouse's gender,
00:29:32.420 or acknowledges the reality of their child, refuses to affirm these newfound identities,
00:29:38.320 the not parent could be punished and should be punished, really, if you look at this bill
00:29:44.200 in cases of a custody battle. And so that's what's going on, that basically the state will steal your
00:29:52.720 child from you, will take away your custody rights from your child if you affirm biological reality.
00:29:59.200 It also prohibits Colorado courts from enforcing or recognizing another state's law that allows child
00:30:05.620 removal from a parent or guardian for supporting gender-affirming health care services. So if a
00:30:11.060 parent in Texas, for example, the judge decided because one of the parties is actually pushing
00:30:18.500 their child towards transitioning, and that judge in Texas says, okay, no, we're taking away your rights 0.84
00:30:25.660 because of that. Colorado is not going to recognize that. So Colorado is becoming almost like a sanctuary
00:30:30.380 state for these parents who want to transition their child. It requires any chosen name policy
00:30:36.320 by local education providers, educators, or contractors to be inclusive of all reasons a
00:30:41.200 student might adopt a chosen name, differing from their legal name. So a teacher will be obligated to
00:30:47.580 call Jack Gracie even if it violates her beliefs. Mandates that school dress codes must not enforce
00:30:54.440 gender-based rules and must allow students to choose any dress code variation. I mean, think about
00:31:00.440 that. Not only are you allowing a boy to dress up as a girl and vice versa, just sowing so much 0.73
00:31:05.320 confusion and perversion in these young impressionable minds, but there's just no sense of modesty anymore
00:31:11.600 because apparently that's gender-based bias. Defines deadnaming and misgendering, so calling someone by their
00:31:19.140 real name as discriminatory acts under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act. This is from the bill.
00:31:25.680 It is a discriminatory practice and unlawful to, with specific intent to discriminate,
00:31:30.280 publish materials that deadname or misgender an individual. The refusal of a pre-publication
00:31:34.700 request for the publisher to use an individual's chosen name, honorifics, or pronouns can serve as
00:31:39.160 evidence of the intent required by subsection 6A of this section. Now, I don't have on here
00:31:46.740 what the punishment will be if someone violates that. I'm sure someone out there has the punitive
00:31:54.120 details that are included in this bill, but it will be against the law in these entities to use
00:32:01.840 the quote-unquote wrong name for someone who says that they are now the opposite sex. And so this is
00:32:08.140 anti-First Amendment. This is anti-parental rights. And this should scare the ever-living daylights out of
00:32:16.020 you. And again, this is how far Democrats will go to violate your right. So while they're all
00:32:20.500 pretending out there like they care about due process, they care about the First Amendment when
00:32:24.840 it comes to deporting MS-13 gang members, they don't. I mean, Colorado is the same place where
00:32:30.780 Jack Phillips, the baker from Masterpiece Cake Shop, has been targeted for over a decade by progressive
00:32:37.560 activists, by the courts in Colorado, because he simply refused to bake a cake that celebrated a gay
00:32:44.820 wedding and refused to bake a cake that celebrated a so-called gender transition. And they haven't let 0.99
00:32:51.180 him live in peace. It's not live and let live. It's not believe whatever you want to, as long as you
00:32:55.520 don't impose it on me. It's that you can't believe whatever you want to, and you certainly cannot live
00:32:59.400 it out, even in your own private business that you own. That's what the left believes. So whenever
00:33:03.920 they accuse you of being a fascist, just remember the state of Colorado. All right, we've got a couple
00:33:08.760 more things happening there, but let me pause and tell you about our next sponsor for the day.
00:33:11.860 It's Good Ranchers. You guys know how much I love Good Ranchers. We eat it almost every night. I love
00:33:17.580 the ground beef really the most because I think it's the most versatile. We love making enchiladas
00:33:23.000 and tacos and burritos and all that kind of stuff. If you can't tell, I love Tex-Mex, but we also love
00:33:28.600 hamburgers and it's just so versatile. It tastes really good. We love grilling their chicken as well.
00:33:34.280 They've got seafood. They've got seed oil-free chicken nuggets, which is really unique. I haven't found a
00:33:38.740 single other company that makes seed oil-free chicken nuggets. And the best part is it's all
00:33:43.140 from American farms and ranches. And because of that, you don't have to worry about the effect
00:33:48.440 of tariffs on the prices of your meat from good ranchers. Tariffs are only impacting the meat and
00:33:57.420 the products that are being imported from overseas. And so you don't have to worry about that. When
00:34:02.680 something is homegrown, you get the benefit of that price protection and it makes your life so much
00:34:08.580 easier. The meat is shipped to your front door on dry ice every month. And you don't have to think
00:34:15.780 about going to the grocery store and picking the right kind of meat. If you go to goodranchers.com
00:34:19.980 slash Allie, code Allie, you get $40 off your order. That's goodranchers.com slash Allie, code Allie.
00:34:26.840 All right. SB25. This is the one that is heading to the governor's desk right now. So it is almost
00:34:38.280 signed into law. Unfortunately, it passed the House and the Senate just a few days ago,
00:34:43.980 and it conforms, quote unquote, abortion rights. It updates the state statutes to reflect Amendment 79,
00:34:53.040 which repealed the constitutional ban on public funding for abortions and enshrined the right to
00:34:58.760 abortion prohibiting state and local governments from denying, impeding or discriminating against
00:35:03.060 this so-called right. It also, again, mandates insurance coverage. So the insurance companies
00:35:09.100 have to cover the cost of abortion. Your taxpayer dollars in Colorado have to cover the cost of
00:35:15.560 abortion. And Colorado is allowed through all nine months in the state of in all nine months
00:35:21.120 throughout the state. And it is one of the most radical laws regarding abortion in the country.
00:35:29.840 And that's actually where a lot of the late term abortions that occur in this country happen. 0.99
00:35:35.880 And we've talked about this in the Atlantic and the New York Times. Some of the most prolific
00:35:41.440 abortionists live in practice in Colorado. And no, they are not doing abortions on women who have
00:35:48.720 serious health issues. It's not because of fetal anomalies. They have actually admitted that they
00:35:55.900 are performing these abortions because these women want abortions. And by the way, there is never,
00:36:00.480 ever, ever a medical reason to have an abortion in the third trimester. It doesn't even make sense.
00:36:05.760 I mean, after 24 weeks, I mean, at least after 24 weeks, you deliver that baby and that baby can go to
00:36:12.440 NICU and the mom can get the care that she needs. If the baby is going to come out either way, 0.76
00:36:16.620 there's no reason to kill the baby before he or she comes out. It doesn't even make any logical
00:36:21.120 sense. And so people are having abortions in the third trimester when they're having them
00:36:25.520 at least 10,000 times a year, by the way, according to the Guttmacher Institute, which is Planned
00:36:31.160 Parenthood's research arm. Those late term abortions, third trimester abortions are happening at least 0.74
00:36:37.840 10,000 times a year. Many of them happening in the state of Colorado. And now Colorado is saying
00:36:42.740 you are going to pay for them. So again, when people try to tell you that you, Christian,
00:36:48.000 you just need to leave your beliefs at home, you don't need to infuse your beliefs into this fight,
00:36:52.840 that is just a silencing and manipulation tactic because progressives are forcing you to not only
00:36:59.520 conform to their ideas, but to fund their ideas. So while they're calling you a fascist, they are using
00:37:06.040 every bit of power they have to push their demonic worldview on you at the harm of the most vulnerable,
00:37:13.820 the child inside the womb. And then we also have the SB 25129 pass the House with amendments. We'll
00:37:21.160 sit back to the Senate for concurrence on those amendments. And it basically creates Colorado as
00:37:28.820 a sanctuary state for abortion. So if someone leaves the state for because their state has more
00:37:35.740 restrictive abortion laws, say like the state of Arkansas, they want to get an abortion, they can 0.55
00:37:40.980 go to Colorado and get that abortion. It amends multiple sections of the Colorado revised statutes
00:37:46.900 to safeguard providers, patients, related entities from out of state civil or criminal action. So
00:37:52.540 they're basically protected. If you want to go to Colorado, not only to get an abortion,
00:37:56.560 but also to get quote unquote gender affirming care, if that is restricted in your state,
00:38:02.380 then you can go there and you can be protected. Those states that you are coming from can't.
00:38:08.840 Colorado is saying, come there and try to come after you for that, which I can't even really
00:38:12.980 imagine that a state would do that. And so Colorado has become a sanctuary state for evil. And not only
00:38:21.000 that, it's also become a sanctuary state for illegal aliens as well. According to Denver7.com, that's
00:38:28.640 the ABC affiliate, the immigrant protection bill, again, just another euphemism, has passed the Colorado
00:38:36.280 Senate. It's moving to the House. It would expand the state's protections on disclosing personal
00:38:43.420 information, including immigration status and further limit cooperation with federal agents
00:38:48.700 over civil immigration issues, restricting their access to non-public areas inside places like
00:38:54.920 jails, schools and hospitals. Okay, so ICE can't come into the jail and get an illegal alien to deport 0.59
00:39:02.260 them. This is just reinforcing that Colorado is a sanctuary state. You'll remember that Trin de
00:39:07.960 Aragua, a violent Venezuelan gang, had taken over apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, where there was
00:39:14.060 murder and all kinds of violence happening, where people have died due to the violence that has been
00:39:19.540 inflicted by illegal aliens, whether it's a hit and run or whether it's direct violence like murder, 0.94
00:39:25.540 assault. We've seen that in the state of Colorado. And yet Colorado, the Democrats there care more about
00:39:30.980 protecting these illegal aliens and abortion and gender transition than they actually care about 0.99
00:39:36.080 protecting children, protecting families, protecting American citizens in the Colorado. That is the state of
00:39:41.200 the Democrat Party. They can't not be insane. Like they could, they could beat Trump. They could beat 0.98
00:39:46.960 Republicans. They could run on the economy. They could try to be representative of the working class.
00:39:52.680 They could pick those 80-20 issues and say, we do them better than Republicans, but they can't. 0.98
00:39:57.960 They can't not be insane. They are bound by the gender lobby. They are bound by the illegal alien lobby, 0.88
00:40:04.580 and they want destruction for the United States. Everything that is good and that Christians want to 1.00
00:40:09.620 protect the current Democrat Party wants to destroy. Don't be distracted by the criticisms you're
00:40:14.960 seeing by Donald Trump and start thinking, oh, should I have voted for him? I mean, just imagine
00:40:19.700 all that I just explained to you nationalized and made true everywhere. That is what would have
00:40:27.740 happened if Kamala Harris would have become president, okay? And so, no, I mean, I'm not saying you can't
00:40:33.220 criticize Donald Trump or think bad things about anything that he's done, but it is by the mercy of God
00:40:39.340 that we have the administration that we do and not an administration like this running the rest of
00:40:43.920 the country. So, there is a church response to what's happening in Colorado, and I'm very thankful
00:40:50.500 for that in response to HB 25, the protections for transgender individuals. Specifically,
00:40:59.280 a small group of pastors and faith leaders from churches across the state of Colorado have banded
00:41:04.960 together. They've formed a coalition to oppose the Colorado legislature passing these bills. They have
00:41:11.720 a website, fight1312.com, has information about the bills as well as resources. They've got sample
00:41:19.460 letters that you can send to your representatives. They're available to Colorado citizens. One of the
00:41:25.620 pastors, Matt Johnson of Brave Church Colorado, he co-wrote a letter to big churches aimed at targeting
00:41:31.080 the two Democrat senators most likely to flip and vote no on the bills in question. So, you can go to
00:41:37.540 fight1312.com, and you can see that. Several of the pastors are trying to get the word out about these
00:41:45.020 bills to speak out against them. They hosted a march and a prayer walk against this bill specifically
00:41:52.620 on April 17th. And you can see that advertisement there. They also put up this graphic, 10 reasons to
00:42:01.800 oppose these bills that are an assault on parental rights, on free speech. And so, I'm very thankful
00:42:10.880 for the churches in Colorado and what they're doing. I just encourage you to support them, to pray with
00:42:15.740 them, to do what you can to get involved. And there will be weak Republicans, spineless Republicans,
00:42:22.220 and conservatives who don't want to get involved. But I'm very thankful for the Christians there who
00:42:27.120 are putting up a fight, and I just pray that they would continue to do so. All right. We do have some
00:42:32.120 good news. It looks like, for once, the UK is actually ahead of us in a good way, especially when
00:42:37.240 it comes to this gender madness. So, we'll get into that in a second. Let me pause and tell you about 0.97
00:42:41.100 our next sponsor. It's Fellowship Home Loans. I'm very thankful for them. They are a new addition to
00:42:45.940 our sponsor roster, Unrelatable. And I had the privilege of talking to Mike and Brian, who
00:42:51.260 own Fellowship Home Loans just a couple weeks ago. And let me tell y'all, they are the real deal.
00:42:57.760 They care so much about honoring God in everything they do and every client relationship that they
00:43:02.780 have. They know it is a big responsibility for them to handle a loan and help you buy a house. And so,
00:43:10.320 they do so with honesty and integrity. They are a mortgage lending company that offers home financing
00:43:15.800 solutions while integrating Christian values, such as honesty, integrity, stewardship. Their main
00:43:22.400 mission is to guide clients through the lending process with faith-based principles, helping them
00:43:28.160 make wise financial decisions aligned with biblical teachings. When you are buying a house, you want to
00:43:34.160 make sure that the people you are working with are aligned with you. Maybe at one point, 20 plus years
00:43:41.060 ago, you could just assume that everyone kind of had your same worldview, that you would be treated
00:43:46.180 with honesty and respect because we're all coming from the same starting point. That's just not true
00:43:51.980 anymore. I know that when I am looking for people to work with, whether it's something as small as,
00:43:58.500 you know, like getting my makeup done or whether it's making a big purchase, the companies I work with,
00:44:03.780 certainly the sponsors I work with, I just want to make sure that everyone is on the same page.
00:44:08.980 I prefer to work with Christians. I think they work harder. I think they have better quality of 0.98
00:44:14.140 work. And at the end of the day, we know that we're serving Christ. So we give each other grace
00:44:19.020 and we're offering that kind of understanding. And that's why I love working with Fellowship Home
00:44:23.880 Loans. And if you are looking to refinance or you are looking to purchase a home, then you need to
00:44:31.460 contact them. I'm telling you, you will not regret it. Go to fellowshiphomeloans.com slash
00:44:39.660 Allie. They're adding a $500 credit at closing with my link. That's fellowshiphomeloans.com slash
00:44:48.600 Allie. Nationwide Mortgage Bankers, DBA Fellowship Home Loans, Equal Housing Lender, NMLS number 819382.
00:45:01.460 On April 16th, 2025, the UK Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the legal definition of woman under the
00:45:09.660 2010 Equality Act refers to biological sex, which is a it's repetitive, but that's how people say it
00:45:18.420 today for the sake of clarity, excluding, quote unquote, transgender women, even those with gender
00:45:23.680 recognition certificates, which is a legal document in the UK that allows so-called transgender people to
00:45:30.340 change their legal gender. Now they're saying, I guess that you can still do that. But for the 0.98
00:45:36.220 purposes of bathrooms, for the purposes of prisons, you have to actually be a woman. So the Supreme 0.98
00:45:43.060 Court in the UK, there are five judges led by Lord Patrick Hodge, did not conduct a public vote, but
00:45:48.200 issued a unanimous judicial ruling, which is amazing. The case brought by Four Women Scotland, a Scottish
00:45:54.000 feminist advocacy group that protects the rights of women and children, challenged a 2018 Scottish law
00:45:59.280 that included trans women with GRCs in the definition of a woman for public board quotas. 0.99
00:46:05.060 The court determined that sex and woman in the Equality Act mean sex at birth, overturning earlier
00:46:11.500 Scottish court rulings. That is another place which has just gone off the deep end when it comes to
00:46:17.280 progressive ideology. So here's what it means regarding single sex facilities. It means that providers of
00:46:25.100 single sex facilities, so as I said, changing rooms, refuges for, you know, women who are victims of
00:46:33.920 violence can, they can lawfully exclude, quote unquote, trans women, even if they do have that GRC 0.75
00:46:42.380 from women's spaces, if it is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim, such as ensuring 1.00
00:46:49.180 privacy, safety or fairness for women. And of course, that's always the case. It's always going to be 1.00
00:46:55.700 the case if you have a single sex facility to make sure that it really is single sex, that that is
00:47:01.440 always going to be the case that that ensures the protection of women for sports. The ruling provides
00:47:08.080 legal clarity for sports organizations to exclude trans women from female only categories to ensure
00:47:14.140 fairness and safety aligning with policies from bodies like world athletics. However, it does not
00:47:19.740 mandate exclusion. That's the same thing when it comes to single sex facilities. They can still set
00:47:24.800 their own policies, but they can exclude so-called transition if they want to. So we got some people
00:47:31.860 who are very upset about this. Drag Race UK is apparently a TV show there, and some of these stars from that
00:47:40.320 show are very upset. This person, Davina DeCampo, says, the fight back starts today. We will not go
00:47:47.440 back into the shadows to make you comfortable. F all the way off. And I've seen a lot of very angry
00:47:54.640 protesters who say that they're not going to switch bathrooms, and they're not backing down from this.
00:48:02.720 Okay, well, we'll see about that. It doesn't surprise me at all. They are disproportionately 1.00
00:48:06.700 extremely violent, which it makes sense, because if you are a man that doesn't care about making
00:48:14.500 women uncomfortable, doesn't care about making them feel unsafe, and you are forcing yourself 0.99
00:48:19.500 into a woman's restroom, that probably means that you are a predator. I mean, because what other kind 1.00
00:48:25.680 of man would want to do something like that? The Good Law Project is a UK-based nonprofit that uses
00:48:31.660 legal action to challenge abuses. The Supreme Court sided with FWS, but it didn't hear from a single
00:48:40.020 trans person. Well, it doesn't really matter, because that doesn't change reality. J.K. Rowling,
00:48:46.080 who is British, has lived in Scotland. She has been one of the biggest, most prominent voices
00:48:51.300 on the side of reality. She said, it took three extraordinary, tenacious Scottish women with an 0.66
00:48:57.200 army behind them to get this case heard by the Supreme Court, and in winning, they've protected the
00:49:01.380 rights of women and girls across the UK. And now, I mean, what you're going to have to do is you're
00:49:06.260 going to have to push very hard for these private businesses and just for institutions to enact policies
00:49:13.000 that are protecting women and girls. Even Richard Dawkins, the famous atheist, he says, aggressively
00:49:20.320 dominant male mammals typically urinate to scent mark their territory. And so he's talking about,
00:49:28.180 you'll have to look at it, but he's talking about in reference to some of the signs of these men who
00:49:32.740 think they're women. They, like, at these protests, one says, I love pissing on turfs. And then another 1.00
00:49:43.120 one, I guess, is about urinating where they want to. And he says, yeah, this is dominant male mammals.
00:49:50.440 They pee where they want to, to try to mark their territory and to show their dominance. And so these men
00:49:57.060 who's saying they're women, they're acting like other male mammals. And Richard Dawkins says, they
00:50:01.640 think they're women, but can you imagine a better walking, talking, reeking advertisement for toxic 1.00
00:50:05.900 masculinity? Hashtag sex matters. So at least Richard Dawkins understands that. So in a lot of ways, as I 0.97
00:50:13.100 said, the UK is ahead of us, and I'm very thankful for that. I mean, they banned puberty blockers in
00:50:19.440 children a while ago, a little while ago. And so I'm just thankful for the people who are doing exactly
00:50:24.880 what they were supposed to do. And that is raising a respectful ruckus for the things that matter.
00:50:30.000 And Christians should be on the front lines of those things. Because again, it's not just that
00:50:33.960 we recognize biology, but we know the importance of biology because we know that God created us
00:50:39.340 biologically and created us in his image. So not only does physical reality have physical and material
00:50:46.560 significance, but also spiritual and eternal significance. And again, if we are called to love
00:50:52.040 our neighbor, then that means we want God's best for them. And God's ways are always best.
00:50:56.800 The most loving thing we can do, both publicly and privately, politically, personally, is agree
00:51:02.260 with God. And I'm very thankful for those who are fighting this fight, and our voices should always
00:51:08.320 be with them. All right. As we close out today's episode, I do have one more ad, and that is from
00:51:15.120 pre-born. If you want to join the fight against abortion, if you want to make sure that you are 0.69
00:51:22.180 saving as many lives as possible, then you need to support pro-life pregnancy centers. Pre-born is a
00:51:27.160 large network of pregnancy centers across the country, and they are providing free resources
00:51:32.580 like ultrasounds and prenatal vitamins, parenting classes, all kinds of things to make sure that moms 1.00
00:51:39.680 who are pregnant and the dads of these babies are feeling supported. We know that when a woman sees that
00:51:45.120 baby on the ultrasound, she is so much more likely to choose life. And that's why Planned Parenthood 0.99
00:51:50.120 doesn't want to show women the baby inside the womb. They don't want her to hear the heartbeat 1.00
00:51:54.980 because they hate truth. And because we love life and we love truth, we want women to be able to really 0.96
00:52:01.700 make an informed choice. We want them to know that they're not alone. That's why pre-born exists. So
00:52:06.400 if you can donate just $28 to pre-born, that covers the cost of a life-saving ultrasound. But
00:52:12.260 whatever you can donate is great. If you can donate $5, if you can donate $5,000,
00:52:17.020 all of it will translate into saving real lives. Go to preborn.com slash Allie to donate and to join
00:52:24.200 the fight against abortion. That's preborn.com slash Allie. 0.99
00:52:28.000 So at the end of all of that, I just want to encourage you that God has placed you where you
00:52:40.340 are at the time that you are in for a specific reason. Because this is a God, the one that we
00:52:45.840 serve, the only God that exists. He does nothing arbitrarily. He does nothing accidentally. He's
00:52:51.180 never thrown off. He's never taken aback. He's never wondering what's going to happen next. He's
00:52:55.720 never swooping in to just clean up the mess. But he has placed every single person here
00:53:00.980 purposely. And he chooses, he doesn't have to, but he chooses to use the obedience, the boldness,
00:53:09.360 the courage, the words, the prayers of Christians to accomplish his purpose. And as I've talked about
00:53:16.640 a lot, but I'm just so encouraged by this, the history of the church is carrying the baton of human
00:53:23.720 dignity and human protection. And the history of the church is culture warring and culture building
00:53:32.260 and fighting against evil. And as I've often said, politics is not the only way to love your
00:53:38.500 neighbor. The culture wars, not the only way to love your neighbor. I wouldn't even say that they
00:53:42.980 are the primary way to love your neighbor, but they are a way to love your neighbor. Because when we're
00:53:48.140 looking at all of these laws, at the other side of all of these laws, the effect of all of these
00:53:53.180 laws, they're on people. They're really on our neighbors. They are on our fellow emerge bearers
00:53:58.720 of God. They're not just arguments. So when Christians say, I don't want to get involved 1.00
00:54:01.920 in politics because I'm afraid of being divisive. Well, that's easy for you to say if you don't
00:54:06.860 think that you or your children are ever going to be affected. That's really a much more selfish
00:54:11.540 way to think. It's not loving. It's kind of just like a cop-out. Well, I'm never going to choose
00:54:17.300 abortion, so I guess that doesn't affect me. Or my child is never going to have to go through a
00:54:21.660 custody battle where one parent thinks that the child should be the opposite sex. So I just won't 0.99
00:54:27.440 have to worry about that. That shows that you care more about protecting yourself, your reputation,
00:54:32.780 your comfort than you do the children on the altar of these things. So I just encourage you to do what
00:54:39.200 you can. It doesn't mean that you have to have a podcast. It doesn't mean that you have to become
00:54:42.160 an activist. It doesn't mean that you have to be on the front lines, but you can contribute
00:54:46.480 something through your obedience. And I'm talking discipling your children in the truth,
00:54:51.380 ensuring their education is filled with biblical truth, ensuring that your pastor, that your elders,
00:54:57.540 that your church members know the laws that are being passed in the state of Colorado or whatever
00:55:02.400 state you're in, knowing who is on the school board in your local community, and getting involved
00:55:08.460 on whatever level you can. It could just be volunteering at a pregnancy center. All of these things
00:55:14.500 contribute to good outcomes. All of these things amount to collective courage that can really make
00:55:21.860 a difference. And we know in the end, Jesus is coming back. No matter what any legislature does,
00:55:27.200 we know that Jesus wins, but he's not back yet. And so we have to do the next right thing in faith
00:55:32.920 with excellence and for the glory of God. Even when that takes courage and sacrifice, it's courage and
00:55:38.800 sacrifice on behalf of the most vulnerable when it comes to these policies. So I just wanted to end
00:55:44.300 on that hopeful note. And we will be back here tomorrow. We'll be having a really interesting
00:55:48.440 episode. I'll be talking to a guest that I've never had on before, Bill O'Reilly. And we'll be
00:55:53.340 talking about all things Trump administration. Also be talking a little bit about the future of the
00:55:58.020 papacy within the Catholic Church. A really interesting conversation that you're going to learn a lot from.
00:56:02.600 We will be back here for that tomorrow.
