00:00:53.100 Trump announced that he is halting the funding. The reaction from the left has been very predictable,
00:00:59.380 halting funding to the World Health Organization in a pandemic. I mean, health is in the name. Like,
00:01:04.620 isn't this stupid? Don't we want to be healthy? Like healthcare, World Health Organization,
00:01:11.540 shouldn't we continue funding this, especially when people are getting sick and dying? So yes,
00:01:18.400 if you are not thinking about this at all, if you haven't put any thought to this whatsoever,
00:01:22.820 you are just reading the headlines and you don't know any context. You don't know anything about
00:01:26.960 the organization. You have no idea what's been going on. You might say, wow, Trump really just
00:01:31.940 wants everyone to die. That's just his motivation behind all of this. So to all of your friends,
00:01:37.960 I know you have a lot of friends who probably think this, you've maybe got coworkers, people in your
00:01:42.580 family who think that Trump pulling funding or halting funding to the World Health Organization
00:01:47.260 right now is so stupid and shows just how little he cares about the American people.

00:01:58.120 when you are in a discussion with them. Things are not as they seem. As usual, the truth differs from

00:02:22.580 has as much power as they do. So let's do some very simple digging. The digging that I did on the

00:02:35.080 who have been studying this for years who know so much more than I do. I did very simple digging,
00:02:39.940 which is to say that all of the stuff that I found and all, and I'll tell you my sources as we go,
00:02:45.160 you could find very easily, like a very quick Google search. I didn't do any kind of like extra
00:02:51.720 crazy research into the recesses of the internet. Very easy searches to find the World Health
00:02:58.540 Organization is indeed a corrupt organization that is doing more harm than good right now. So
00:03:04.780 the World Health Organization is part of the United Nations. It was founded in 1948. Here's what
00:03:10.520 Wikipedia has to say. The WHO constitution, which establishes the agency's governing structure and
00:03:16.780 principles, states its main objective as ensuring the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible
00:03:23.120 level of health. It is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, with six semi-autonomous regional offices
00:03:29.000 and 150 field offices worldwide. According to its website, the WHO's mandate includes advocating for
00:03:37.960 universal health care, monitoring public health risks, coordinating responses to health emergencies
00:03:44.160 and promoting human health and well-being. It provides technical assistance to two countries,
00:03:49.860 sets international health standards and guidelines and collects data on global health issues through
00:03:55.140 the World Health Survey. So according to the World Health Organization, that is who they are.
00:04:00.320 That is what they do. Sounds good, right? Right. It does sound good. WHO is a part of the United
00:04:08.400 Nations. What is the United Nations? Well, that's a great question and gives us a really good indication
00:04:14.080 of who the WHO is as well. So the United Nations, their website says it's an international organization
00:04:20.960 founded in 1945. It's currently made up of 193 member states. The mission and work of the United Nations
00:04:27.560 are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding charter. They say they exist to
00:04:33.320 maintain international peace and security, to protect human rights, deliver humanitarian aid,
00:04:39.780 promote sustainable development, and uphold international law. So that's why the United Nations
00:04:44.840 exists or why it says it exists. And that is what the United Nations, that's what the United Nations
00:04:52.440 has always said that they are created to do. Originally, membership was limited to the country
00:04:57.540 that were against the objectives and crimes of the Axis powers in World War II. Now the United
00:05:03.800 Nations includes dictatorships that are responsible for some of the worst crimes against humanity in
00:05:09.600 history. So there has been a little bit of a shift over time. 193 member states, like I said,
00:05:15.300 that includes, is not limited to, but includes Afghanistan, China, the Congo, North Korea, Iran,
00:05:21.480 Iraq, Qatar, Turkey, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe, countries that have been ravaged by war.
00:05:27.240 are led by brutal dictators who have starved and killed their own people. It isn't possible
00:05:32.840 anymore for the UN to be united under any kind of shared objective or value system because the United
00:05:42.240 States of America, for example, doesn't have any shared values with North Korea, for example.
00:05:48.420 Like, do you think the government of Yemen or Iraq or Afghanistan is interested in the UN objectives
00:05:55.980 to ensure international security or uphold human rights? No, they're not. They're not interested in
00:06:02.040 that. And the UN has not only done virtually nothing to put an end to this kind of violence
00:06:08.000 and corruption that we see in several of these countries, they have also set the ambassadors
00:06:12.660 from these countries on councils. So the Security Council that is supposed to ensure international
00:06:18.100 security includes member states like China and Russia. So this is the same China that,
00:06:23.920 among other things, recently hacked Equifax a few years ago, acquiring personal information of over
00:06:29.680 almost 150 million Americans. The same Russia that invaded Crimea just a few years ago. Very
00:06:36.340 trustworthy protectors of security, China and Russia. The Council on Human Rights, this part of the UN,
00:06:42.920 is also quite impressive from 2017 to 2019. Here were a few of the members on this council,
00:06:49.820 the Council on Human Rights, Egypt, Rwanda, Iraq, Cuba, China. From 2020 to 2022, a few of the members
00:07:00.060 are Libya, Sudan, Venezuela. So let's look at some of the past, the recent members and the future current
00:07:07.700 members of the Council on Human Rights, a part of the United Nations. According to Amnesty International
00:07:14.600 in Egypt, there is rampant public and state violence from their website, Amnesty International
00:07:19.660 website. Sexual assaults in public, particularly in the context of demonstrations around Cairo's Tahir
00:07:25.660 Square, have soared in recent years. Sexual assaults and rapes have been carried out repeatedly
00:07:31.660 in which women have been groped, stripped naked, and dragged through the streets or beaten with sticks,
00:07:36.400 knives, and belts by violent mobs. The authorities have not shown due diligence to prevent the attacks
00:07:42.940 or to protect women from violence. According to Human Rights Watch, Egypt doesn't hold free or
00:07:48.500 fair elections, but instead uses intimidation and violence to take power, jailing dissidents,
00:07:53.880 including activists, including bloggers, and journalists who don't fall in line. In Rwanda,
00:08:00.160 Human Rights Watch says, after years of threats, intimidation, mysterious deaths,
00:08:04.340 in high-profile, politically motivated trials, few opposition parties remain active or make public
00:08:10.280 comments on government policies. That is just one of the many problems of corruption in Rwanda,
00:08:15.780 of course. Human Rights Watch says of China, again, these are all countries who have either recently
00:08:20.940 been on the Council on Human Rights as a part of the UN or are about to be. Human Rights Watch says
00:08:28.340 on China, authorities have carried out mass arbitrary detention, torture, and mistreatment of
00:08:33.300 some of them in various detention facilities and increasingly imposed pervasive controls on daily
00:08:38.460 life. Authorities stepped up their persecution of religious communities, including prohibitions on
00:08:43.860 Islam in Xinjiang, suppression of Christians in Henan province, and increasing scrutiny of white
00:08:51.080 Muslims in Nijinga. I'm just going to tell you, I don't know how to pronounce these things.
00:08:56.660 Authorities increasingly deploy mass surveillance systems to tighten control over society.
00:09:02.340 In 2018, the government continued to collect on a mass scale biometrics, including DNA and voice
00:09:08.500 samples. Use such biometrics for automated surveillance purposes, develop a nationwide reward
00:09:14.340 and punishment system known as the social credit system, and develop and apply big data policing
00:09:21.180 programs aimed at preventing dissent. So that's China, who is sitting on the Council on Human Rights
00:09:29.100 in the UN. On Cuba, the Human Rights Watch says, the Cuban government continues to employ arbitrary
00:09:35.820 detention to harass and intimidate critics, independent activists, political opponents, and others.
00:09:41.080 Or how about Libya, where the death penalty is enacted for violations of speech? Very exciting.
00:09:46.360 Or in Sudan, where you can also be put to death for disagreeing with the government. That's good.
00:09:51.460 Or Venezuela, where people are dying from starvation every day due to the corruption of the socialist
00:09:57.160 government there, and people are also jailed for disagreeing with the regime. These are the countries
00:10:04.200 on the Human Rights Council for the UN. The UN also has an international court, which settles disputes
00:10:10.380 between states and gives advisory opinions on international legal issues. That has also been
00:10:16.300 criticized. The international court has also been criticized for its procedures and its judgments.
00:10:21.540 The current president of the court is the UN ambassador from Somalia, and the vice president
00:10:27.320 is of China. Somalia, where children are prosecuted. Children are prosecuted and detained for allegedly
00:10:33.400 being a part of opposition. And we already know, of course, about China. We could do a whole series,
00:10:38.580 like I said, on the corruption and the ineffectiveness of the UN. Nikki Haley, who used to be our ambassador
00:10:44.260 to the UN, has spoken and written a lot about this, a lot about this subject. She served as a very
00:10:50.300 fierce representative of the United States and of our allies when she held that position. But we don't
00:10:55.240 have time to get into all of that. The point is, the World Health Organization is a part of the UN,
00:11:01.080 which is very obviously a joke. The UN is corrupt. Not everyone at the UN, not everything that the UN does
00:11:07.580 is bad. There are things I'm sure the UN does that are, you know, effective and good. But the UN
00:11:13.260 is largely laughable. They are moral relativists in the face of genocide and crimes against humanity.
00:11:20.540 They are a left-wing, anti-capitalist, anti-Israel group. That also applies to the World Health
00:11:28.040 Organization. The World Health Organization is a left-wing operation pushing left-wing values,
00:11:33.200 like abortion, for example. It has this to say about abortion on their site. Every woman has the
00:11:39.880 recognized human right to decide freely and responsibly, without coercion and violence,
00:11:45.000 the number, spacing, and timing of their children, and to have the information and means to do so,
00:11:51.060 and the right to attain the highest standard of sexual and reproductive health. You know what's
00:11:55.580 violent and coercive abortion? WHO works to ensure as many women as possible throughout the world
00:12:02.700 have the ability to legally kill their children. Last year, the WHO updated the International
00:12:08.840 Classification of Diseases to Change Gender Identity Disorder to Gender Incongruence because,
00:12:16.780 according to the WHO, it is, quote, not actually a mental health condition. But of course,
00:12:22.040 it's a mental health condition that is common sense. It doesn't matter what you think about
00:12:25.940 gender identity disorder, whether you are okay with people identifying as different gender
00:12:31.660 or not. It is psychological dysphoria. If it weren't transgender, people wouldn't be going
00:12:38.640 through therapies and surgery to the detriment of their own health in an effort to reconcile their
00:12:43.320 minds with their bodies. The WHO is pro-socialized healthcare, pro-leftism, anti-free markets,
00:12:50.460 and apparently also anti-science. They are a leftist political organization that, again,
00:12:56.340 maybe does some good in the world. I'm sure they do, and I'm sure they have. But just like the UN,
00:13:02.220 they are made up of a bunch of moral relativists who are looking to push a leftist agenda more than
00:13:08.900 they are actually interested in seeing any sort of real progress. And who is the head of the WHO,
00:13:16.320 the director general, a man by the name of Tedros Adhanom. I don't know how to pronounce his last
00:13:22.240 name. Everyone refers to him as Dr. Tedros. Now, by doctor, they don't actually mean physician. He is
00:13:28.560 actually the first director general of the WHO who is not a physician. He has a PhD, but he's not actually
00:13:34.980 a doctor. He's a microbiologist. He is from Ethiopia. He is the first non-physician, like I said,
00:13:40.660 to serve in that role. He served as the minister of health in Ethiopia, where he was caught by the
00:13:45.900 UN of covering up cholera outbreaks there. Instead, he classified the outbreaks as nothing more than
00:13:52.660 acute diarrhea. But the UN said at the time, if he had reported this as cholera, which is what it was,
00:13:58.860 they would have been able to provide more help in the proper treatments. But he lied about that.
00:14:04.000 He covered it up. He was a member of the Tigray People's Liberation Front in Ethiopia,
00:14:08.500 a radical ethno-nationalist. It's actually ethno-regionalist, communist, political group
00:14:14.440 that at one point was included on a global list of terrorist groups, but apparently is no longer
00:14:20.360 included on that list. So I guess that's somewhat comforting. In 2017, as WHO director general,
00:14:28.700 Dr. Tedros selected the president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, as the World Health Organization
00:14:35.700 Goodwill Ambassador. Now, you probably, you may know the name Robert Mugabe. He's kind of infamous.
00:14:41.520 He was also an ethno-nationalist communist, so that's exciting. He was a dictator known for killing
00:14:48.900 dissidents, for violence, for totalitarianism, for corruption, for mismanagement, and specifically
00:14:54.460 for funding and directing a murderous uprising against white farmers. It's reported that Mugabe
00:15:00.340 justified the seizures of the land by the fact that this land, he had said, had been seized by
00:15:06.840 white settlers from the indigenous African population in the 1890s, so he kind of saw it as
00:15:12.200 payback, I guess. The BBC reported that the Zimbabwe healthcare system deteriorated so much that it was
00:15:18.640 in shambles under Mugabe's leadership. Mugabe and other government officials refused to even use
00:15:24.760 Zimbabwe's healthcare, but would instead travel to Singapore to receive their healthcare. That is who
00:15:31.240 the current, the current head of the WHO chose as the Goodwill Ambassador to help tackle non-communicable
00:15:39.200 diseases for Africa. He went back on his decision after outrage ensued and Robert Mugabe, he's dead now,
00:15:46.920 he died at the age of 95. And how has the WHO, under this particular leader, handled the coronavirus?
00:15:56.500 Well, let's see. On January 5th, according to NPR, the WHO reported a pneumonia of unknown cause in
00:16:04.060 Wuhan, China. The health organization advised against restrictions to China. WHO advises against the
00:16:13.660 application of any travel or trade restrictions on China based on the current information available
00:16:20.640 on this event. On January 14th, WHO released a statement saying preliminary investigations by the
00:16:26.940 Chinese authorities have found no evidence of human-to-human transmission. This was, of course,
00:16:32.400 propaganda. We know that. China knew it then. The WHO probably knew it. U.S. intelligence now has
00:16:38.200 reason to believe that people had been infected and had been dying for weeks, if not months, at this point.
00:16:43.660 The WHO was likely privy to that information. On January 31st, according to Reuters, borders should
00:16:51.180 be kept open and people and trade flowing in the face of the coronavirus outbreak. Although countries
00:16:56.260 have a sovereign right to take measures to try to protect their citizens, the World Health Organization
00:17:01.240 said on Friday, if travel restrictions would be imposed, we hope they're as short-lived as possible
00:17:06.460 to try to continue the normal flow of life, WHO spokesperson Christian Lindmeier said.
00:17:11.600 On February 4th, the WHO said, don't stop trading or travel. Why? Why did they try to dial this back
00:17:20.600 and pretend like it wasn't as big of a deal as they probably knew it was, as they definitely knew it was?
00:17:25.920 Because the WHO is in bed with China. Specifically, Dr. Tedros is in bed with China and they have to cover
00:17:31.940 for them. According to Fox News' Barnini Chakraborty, for more than a decade, Ethiopia's economy has been
00:17:42.400 largely dependent on China. Beijing has shelled out hundreds of millions of dollars for mega
00:17:47.200 projects, including a new $160 million national sports stadium in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's largest
00:17:55.220 city and capital. China has also become Ethiopia's largest trading partner. The Export-Import Bank of
00:18:01.160 China put up to $2.9 billion of the $3.4 billion railway project connecting the landlocked Ethiopia
00:18:10.460 to the port-heavy country of Djibouti. China's money was also instrumental in building Ethiopia's
00:18:16.780 first six-lane highway. Beijing can and has taken credit for helping reshape Addis Ababa's entire
00:18:23.000 skyline with high-rises and skyscrapers. But lately, China hasn't been happy with its investments in
00:18:29.220 Ethiopia after projects like the railway line failed to generate the kind of cash developers had hoped.
00:18:34.240 If China pulls out of Ethiopia, the African country's economy could crumble, something Tedros
00:18:39.280 is desperate to avoid. It's also because this is just personal Ali opinion because Tedros is a
00:18:45.220 communist and so is Xi Jinping. Tedros is a dictator and so is Xi. So they're comrades like that. But
00:18:50.780 it's also bigger than that. The WHO knows that China has power even though they pay a fraction of what
00:18:56.960 the United States does. They are a rising left-wing dictatorial world power that the WHO does not want
00:19:04.700 to upset. They want to be on their side. And who knows what other corruption is going on in that
00:19:09.940 relationship? So Tedros has to cover the tracks for China's failures. Failures that, as we are
00:19:15.440 learning more and more, are more grave than we originally thought. It's looking like the virus
00:19:20.840 actually came from a lab in Wuhan, China, a lab accident, rather than from a wet market. WHO tried
00:19:28.620 as long as they could to make it seem like it's not that big of a deal. Like China's got it under
00:19:33.360 control. It all became too much for Tedros. It became too much. The World Health Organization
00:19:39.980 couldn't cover the tracks anymore. And now they're in trouble because people see that this
00:19:45.020 relationship is a problem. According to Fox News, Taiwanese officials have released an email sent to
00:19:50.260 the World Health Organization back in December warning them and asking them to look into more
00:19:55.740 the human-to-human transmission of coronavirus that the WHO ignored. They didn't respond to that email.
00:20:02.760 Why did the WHO ignore Taiwan? More corruption. Because Taiwan is not a member of the WHO
00:20:09.660 because China refuses to recognize Taiwan as an independent state, even though they are. And
00:20:16.960 because the WHO bows down to China, they refuse to recognize or legitimize or communicate with Taiwan.
00:20:24.720 So it's a political reason. Here's an article from Wilford Chan in The Nation. The Nation is a
00:20:32.460 left-wing commentary site. And this article is titled, The WHO Ignores Taiwan. The World Pays the Price.
00:20:41.040 Let me clarify. They're a left-wing site, but even they are saying this. And I agree with this article
00:20:46.880 and I think it's really helpful. So WHO ignores Taiwan. The article says this, Despite early warnings
00:20:52.400 from Taiwanese officials, the organization kept the island cut off from its global information networks.
00:20:57.320 Now, it may be the rest of the world that's paying the price. For nearly half a century,
00:21:02.460 the People's Republic of China has effectively blocked Taiwan from joining the WHO.
00:21:06.960 Despite never having exercised authority over the island, the Chinese Communist Party officially
00:21:11.980 considers Taiwan part of its territory and forces international organizations, including the United
00:21:17.640 Nations and its agencies like the WHO, to affirm its view. On December 31st, the same day that Wuhan health
00:21:24.880 officials announced the discovery of a viral pneumonia with no clear evidence of human-to-human
00:21:30.120 transmission, Taiwan wrote to the WHO to request more information about the disease's potential
00:21:35.700 pass between humans. They say the WHO acknowledged receipt of the letter, but did not otherwise respond
00:21:41.700 or share it with other WHO member states. There was a Hong Kong journalist who asked Bruce Aylward,
00:21:50.980 he is an official in the WHO, why Taiwan won't be granted membership. And here's how that
00:21:57.060 conversation went. Would the WHO considered Taiwan's membership? Hello, we wouldn't, I couldn't hear your
00:22:14.880 question. Okay, let me, let me, let me repeat the question. Let's move to another one then. Right.
00:22:20.340 Because, because, because I'm, I'm actually curious on talking about Taiwan as well, on Taiwan's case.
00:22:29.620 So if you're not watching, he pretended like he didn't hear the question, asked her to repeat the
00:22:35.260 question. But when she tried to repeat the question, he said, no, let's move on to the next question. So
00:22:40.560 did you hear the question? Or did you not hear the question? And then he just hung up. So that's not

00:23:10.760 2003 SARS outbreak to implement quarantines and conduct drills at hospitals. Citizens were asked
00:23:16.720 to stay calm and assured that they would all be able to buy surgical masks as production of the masks
00:23:22.120 was ramped up into millions per day. Soon after, Taiwanese masks were temporarily banned from export
00:23:28.280 outside of the country. When the Taiwanese CDC deputy director general, Chuang Jin-hsang,
00:23:35.160 gave his own press conference in, gave his own press conference, a local reporter asked him whether
00:23:42.020 Taiwan was coordinating with the WHO. He said this, we're not like other countries. We aren't invited
00:23:48.280 to the meeting. There's no way for us to get firsthand information. There have only been a handful of deaths
00:23:55.840 in Taiwan, by the way. Meanwhile, China is reportedly evicting Africans. We talked about this on the last
00:24:02.740 episode, evicting Africans from their apartments and refusing to let them into restaurants for fear
00:24:07.820 that they might have coronavirus, according to the New York Times. Is that enough to make Dr. Tedros,
00:24:14.420 the head of the WHO, who is an African, question his alliance? No. According to Bloomberg News,
00:24:20.420 Tedros claims that Taiwan is behind the anti-African racism in China. Taiwan, of course, denies the
00:24:29.320 accusations because it doesn't make any sense. And in fact, if you look into how Taiwanese health
00:24:36.740 officials and healthcare workers have actually helped Ethiopia over the years, you will see that
00:24:41.680 the accusation by Tedros doesn't make any sense and really has no founding, most likely, from the
00:24:48.820 evidence that we see right now. I mean, definitely. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever for Taiwan
00:24:54.440 to be behind the racism that is being exercised against Africans in mainland China. It just doesn't
00:25:01.280 make any sense at all. And yet, Tedros, because he is in bed with China, he has to make these kinds
00:25:07.040 of claims. And it's funny because Tedros is also coming out against Donald Trump and saying,
00:25:11.120 please don't politicize this. We shouldn't be politicizing this. This isn't a political thing.
00:25:16.180 Well, the reason why Taiwan isn't included in the WHO is for a political reason. So WHO,
00:25:21.860 a corrupt organization, from 2018 to 2019, we gave $893 billion to, sorry, million dollars to the WHO.
00:25:35.060 Who comes in second? Is it China? Is it the UK? No, it is Bill and Melinda, the Bill and Melinda
00:25:42.640 Gates Foundation at $531 million. China is actually towards the bottom at only about $80 million. Speaking
00:25:50.380 of Bill Gates, he tweeted this, halting funding for the World Health Organization during a world
00:25:55.580 health crisis is as dangerous as it sounds. Their work is slowing the spread of COVID-19. And if that
00:26:01.040 work is stopped, no other organization can replace him. The world needs WHO now more than ever. Well,
00:26:07.660 Taiwan apparently fared pretty well. I think the United States would fare pretty well too. And actually,
00:26:13.360 the world may have been better off in a lot of cases and in a lot of ways if WHO wasn't around. Or if they
00:26:20.640 had just done their jobs and done what they were supposed to do in the first place rather than running
00:26:25.100 propaganda for China. So it is a good thing that President Trump has halted funding to the WHO. We
00:26:32.880 should also halt funding to the UN. These are worthless, corrupt, left-wing organizations that do more
00:26:39.300 harm than good. And there's actually bipartisan consensus that these organizations are corrupt
