Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey - Ep 516 ｜ Making America Fail Again： How Biden's Policies Are Wrecking Us

00:00:00.000 hey guys welcome to relatable happy tuesday hope everyone has had a wonderful day a wonderful week

00:00:14.900 so far if you're watching on youtube my hair is kind of looking rough today i just you understand

00:00:20.860 those of you who are moms who are parents you don't always have time to do your hair texturizing

00:00:27.220 spray dry shampoo goes a long way in my house but sometimes i just don't have time i don't have time

00:00:34.580 to do my hair in the morning and so it goes up in this type of bun type clip things i'm really happy

00:00:41.160 that clips are back in action or back on trend because it makes my life really easy all right

00:00:48.620 that's not what we're talking about today i just wanted to give a little disclaimer for my friends

00:00:53.180 who are watching on youtube today we are actually going to talk about the news we haven't really

00:00:57.640 talked about the news all that much in a while we did talk about the virginia election yesterday

00:01:01.840 which is happening today if you're listening to this and you haven't gone out to vote yet in virginia

00:01:06.480 if you are a republican or if you're an independent or maybe even a democrat who's voting republican you

00:01:11.380 need to go out and vote get your friends to go out and vote this is not an election you want to sit out

00:01:15.840 on this is not the time for apathy people go vote for glenn youngkin go listen to yesterday's episode

00:01:22.260 if you want to hear more about that i've also got an article out for world magazine today talking

00:01:27.140 about why parents of k through 12 students are overwhelmingly supporting glenn youngkin and if

00:01:33.560 you are a parent then you absolutely need to vote republican and i explain why in my article today so make

00:01:42.400 sure that you go and read that at world.org i think is the link we'll link it in the description to this

00:01:49.660 to this episode so you don't have to memorize the link all right today though we are going to talk

00:01:55.160 about joe biden we have not focused on good old joe president biden uh in a while and today we are

00:02:03.560 finally going to do that because it seems that some journalists and maybe biden voters in general

00:02:10.780 are confused as to why so many people are upset with the president of the united states now if you are a

00:02:18.160 the fact that other people don't realize why so many of us are frustrated may be a surprise to you

00:02:26.880 because it's so obvious to us because most of us operate in our bubbles at least for the most part

00:02:32.500 and if you're only watching if you're on the left if you're only watching msnbc and cnn you may have

00:02:38.880 no idea that objectively joe biden and his administration are doing a bad job you see conservatives don't really

00:02:45.260 have the privilege of living in a bubble because all of the mainstream institutions and cultural

00:02:51.180 and mostly political megaphones are liberal so all the major corporations all of big tech most of the

00:02:59.240 mainstream media are on the left academia public education they are dominated by leftist ideology even

00:03:06.940 the global institutions the un the who they are on the left side of the ideological aisle so even if

00:03:14.700 a conservative only watches fox news only listens to relatable is only around republican voters they still

00:03:22.300 have a pretty good understanding of the left-wing perspectives on particular issues that is why i think

00:03:31.820 that the right has more of a desire to debate issues than at least some people on the left do because

00:03:40.460 not because we necessarily want to but because we're forced to have an understanding of what the left

00:03:47.260 thinks and how they see the world i mean we see it displayed in most of our entertainment uh whereas

00:03:53.660 really the left is hardly ever forced to interact with conservative ideas unless they choose to so all of

00:04:00.780 that said uh the left seems a little bit shocked by the fact that much of the country really does not

00:04:09.100 want does not want to uh support president biden and doesn't support president biden now the absolute shock

00:04:18.540 of the left uh that they're expressing is a bit of a surprise to me like i understand that they might be

00:04:24.620 taken aback for a second but they seem utterly disgusted and surprised and even knowing that people

00:04:31.660 have a tendency to insulate you know to insulate ourselves from information and perspectives that

00:04:36.460 challenge our biases it's still shocking to me because uh because the media has been at least a little

00:04:44.860 bit honest when we go back to the afghanistan debacle like you had some new york times articles some

00:04:51.420 washington post articles some journalists in the press pool who were actually pressing joe biden on

00:04:58.540 his evacuation of afghanistan and trying to hold him accountable for how terribly it went and so it's a

00:05:08.060 little bit hard for me to understand how the left can be this surprised by something like let's go

00:05:15.420 brandon journalists blue check marks on twitter they opened my eyes to not just how surprised but how

00:05:22.780 offended and apparently disturbed many are that millions of americans do not like joe biden we're

00:05:29.740 going to talk about the reasons why so many people don't like joe biden and we're going to talk about

00:05:34.940 some of the gaps and some of the things he said that has forced americans even some americans who have

00:05:40.140 voted who voted for him to lose confidence in him i mean many people obviously who don't like him

00:05:46.060 voted for trump but there are lots of people who don't like joe biden who didn't vote for trump who

00:05:51.900 maybe didn't vote for either candidate or who maybe even voted for biden like i said um there's an article

00:05:57.900 in the la times that i actually think sums up what's going on with this whole let's go brandon thing

00:06:03.820 pretty well and i'll explain again what that is if you have missed it thus far it is written by

00:06:09.580 someone that i don't usually agree with and the title of the column is let's go brandon is what

00:06:16.300 passes for oratory now be worried this is by jonah goldberg who is known as kind of this anti-trump

00:06:23.900 conservative though i would say like many in that camp you often find him not always but you often

00:06:30.140 find him at least recently siding with the left it seems like to me for the sake of just siding against

00:06:36.300 the right but he explains i think pretty well both sides of the let's go brandon debacle um and if you

00:06:43.900 don't know i'll i'll explain it so f joe biden except the actual word uh is a chant in sports stadiums

00:06:53.100 across the country we've been hearing it at football games since the beginning of the fall i mean almost

00:06:57.820 whole stadium saying f joe biden and then the chant also broke out a couple months ago at a nascar race

00:07:05.020 and a reporter was interviewing the winner of a race of the race whose name is brandon in front of

00:07:11.180 the chanting crowd and the reporter said oh they're saying let's go brandon now we don't know if this

00:07:17.340 nbc reporter really thought they were saying let's go brandon or if she was just trying to cover up for 0.85

00:07:22.540 profanity we don't know but let's go brandon has turned into this euphemism for f joe biden and it's

00:07:29.260 really even gotten you know it's gotten further removed than that because people who are not

00:07:35.500 thinking about the vulgar profane phrase are just using it to mean you know what people used to say

00:07:42.380 when obama was president thanks obama thanks a lot so you know they're saying joe biden is the worst

00:07:48.860 it's a funny mostly innocuous way for people to say that they're mad about biden's policies now i have

00:07:59.180 said that because i know it is a euphemism for f joe biden it's not something that i say as an expression

00:08:06.780 of course i'll say let's go brandon when i'm explaining it to you but i try not to say it as an expression

00:08:12.140 now some people see it no different as saying dang or shoot or something like that or they see it as

00:08:17.100 totally innocuous but because i know what it stands for as a christian and because i know that

00:08:21.580 we are only to say that which is good for building up or to let no corrupting talk come out of our

00:08:28.220 mouths but only to say that which is good for building up that it may give grace to those who

00:08:33.340 hear i try not to say let's go brandon i did say it once on instagram when i was mad that jen saki made

00:08:39.180 fun of the supply chain issues knowing that i mean we have hospitals that can't get the supplies that they

00:08:43.820 need because of those supply chain issues she made light of it and said oh it's just delayed

00:08:47.740 treadmills that did elicit a let's go brandon from me however i do think as a general rule christian

00:08:53.500 shouldn't be saying that i know there are some people who disagree with me on that i can also

00:08:58.620 acknowledge that it's a funny development like it's funny how it happened and i am not going to

00:09:04.460 even though i'm not going to say i'm not going to clutch my pearls about it and goldberg in this article

00:09:08.620 for the la times he acknowledges the funny development of the phrase and he also points

00:09:13.020 out how ridiculous it is that so many people are so angry about this he points out the story that a

00:09:19.580 lot of you have probably heard that a southwest pilot was uh accused by an ap reporter of saying

00:09:26.060 let's go brandon over the intercom on a flight people freaked out about that on twitter including this

00:09:33.260 ap reporter uh twitter lit up with liberals just absolutely freaking out about this like it was

00:09:39.260 the worst thing to happen to the republic since january 6th i mean they're really really upset about

00:09:45.340 it not all liberals but there are some reactions that jonah goldberg lists in his article so he says

00:09:52.300 this quote let's go brandon has become uh so this is not jonah goldberg saying this he is quoting

00:09:58.700 someone else saying this let's go brandon has become the mag version of sig heil one lawyer

00:10:04.380 declared on twitter i mean whoa whoa that escalated so quickly liberal radio host dean obadala tweeted

00:10:13.500 southwest airlines is now the pro january 6 terrorist attack airlines according to a yale professor a pilot

00:10:21.340 saying let's go brandon is comparable to saying long live isis like what let's just stop there for

00:10:28.540 a record those are three examples that jonah goldberg provided us in his article let's just

00:10:34.060 stop there like are you seeing what's happening a light-hearted right-wing meme is now nazi terrorist

00:10:40.540 terminology you know who has the most power in a country uh by looking at who cannot take a joke

00:10:49.020 how ironic that the people who can't stand their regime being criticized are calling the people that

00:10:55.900 that that launched the criticism nazis that's amazing that's really amazing also you know how

00:11:02.540 people on the left uh have loved calling everyone they disagree with racist for the past several years

00:11:09.900 and now people just like they don't care anymore they just don't care if they're called a racist or a

00:11:14.620 white supremacist because it's just so common and they launched that criticism at people who said

00:11:21.580 something that has no correlation whatsoever to race or white supremacy it's just that that insult

00:11:27.020 just doesn't stick anymore because so many things are called racist that have no racial animus attached

00:11:33.420 to them and now we are seeing the same thing with the word terrorist so pro-lifers are terrorists uh

00:11:40.060 people against vaccine mandates and passports are terrorists evangelicals are terrorists but people

00:11:46.140 looting rioting burning down stores businesses and federal property for half of 2020 in the name of

00:11:52.940 so-called racial justice they're definitely not terrorists so we're seeing the degradation of this

00:11:58.380 word because of its overuse and because of its misuse right now by leftists um if people who say

00:12:04.540 let's go brandon are terrorists and nazis you're not making the people who use that phrase sound bad you're

00:12:11.740 actually making terrorism and nazism seem not that bad you're belittling the seriousness of those 0.68

00:12:18.140 things by attaching it to something that is really really petty and and that just like indiscriminately

00:12:24.780 calling people you disagree with racist has consequences because it robs us of our ability

00:12:30.460 to accurately communicate the severity of real terrorism and real nazism which have existed and do

00:12:37.500 exist so bastardizing words and concepts for the sake of destroying your political opponents makes

00:12:43.740 the world worse and makes it a world place because uh makes the world a worse place because we can't

00:12:49.340 accurately uh we can't accurately communicate ideas in a way that makes sense in a way that demonstrates

00:12:57.660 that something is really bad so goldberg continues in his article saying when trump was president there was no

00:13:07.340 shortage of mockery and expletives hurled his way robert de niro got a standing ovation for saying

00:13:13.660 f trump at the tony awards uh at the at the tony awards uh representative rashida talib used similar salty

00:13:24.300 language without liberals taking to their fainting couches if i remember correctly she said that they um that 1.00

00:13:33.180 they are going to impeach the mf i will say um and you know people cheered when she was at that event

00:13:42.140 and said that and then also this is me not jonah goldberg talking at the immis in 2016 jill soloway

00:13:48.380 she's the creator of the show transparent she compared trump to hitler she was praised for it

00:13:53.420 samantha b the so-called comedian she called ivanka trump the c-word on her show a woman by the name of 1.00

00:14:02.460 julie briskman flicked off trump's motorcade in 2019 as she was bicycling past it she went viral on twitter

00:14:09.140 she was praised for it she did lose her job the company said that this violates our obscenity on social

00:14:15.540 media rules she sued uh for that and then she got elected for the louden county board of supervisors 0.95

00:14:22.420 wow but there's a lot of brain worms in louden county like what's going on there um i don't remember

00:14:28.040 any conversation back then on the left about how we need to elevate the discourse because of these

00:14:33.940 incidents uh because the excuse was that we heard that trump had brought the discourse so low had

00:14:39.920 brought us down into the mud and they were just fighting fire with fire but jonah goldberg also

00:14:45.620 mentions that eminem you know i think he said like f bush or something in the early 2000s i mean people

00:14:52.360 were also comparing george bush to a nazi and saying terrible things to him because of their

00:14:57.680 disagreement with his decisions in regards to the war on terror and so it's just not it's just not true

00:15:04.260 that it was trump that brought us down into the mud we have been in the mud social media probably

00:15:08.920 exacerbated it i'm not saying uh that trump necessarily elevated the discourse either but it's

00:15:16.320 false to say and it's irresponsible it's immature to say that you're calling people uh mf or the c word

00:15:24.960 or whatever it is because of someone else's because of the president's alleged behavior like you're

00:15:31.180 responsible for your own words so now these same people don't have the right to turn around and clutch

00:15:36.640 their pearls about a euphemism let's go brandon like if that's your argument if your argument really

00:15:42.160 is that this is just just such debased discourse and before these maga loving people we just had

00:15:50.460 such elevated eloquent conversations and we never launched ad hominem attacks like come on if that is

00:15:57.120 your argument then you weren't just asleep while trump was president but you were also asleep during

00:16:03.220 joe biden's campaign like joe biden according to this new standard that i guess the left has uh for our

00:16:11.700 discourse joe biden has brought us down too in his campaign in december 2019 he called a retired

00:16:18.460 farmer in iowa fat and a d word liar uh this farmer asked him a question about his son's dealings

00:16:27.040 with ukraine at a campaign event there and the guy i mean joe biden fat shamed him i think this was the 0.97

00:16:35.860 same circumstance where he challenged him to a push-up contest what and then called him a

00:16:41.680 d liar at a campaign event in new hampshire in february of 2020 a young woman asked biden

00:16:48.540 how he could manage to win a national election after finishing fourth in the iowa caucus that's

00:16:54.040 a great question he asked her if she'd ever been to a caucus and she said yes and he responded no 0.95

00:16:59.480 you haven't you're a lying dog-faced pony soldier not exactly crass but what what like that's such a rude 0.98

00:17:08.020 response to a legitimate question i bet this girl is probably a liberal too and he's calling her a liar 1.00

00:17:12.880 for saying that she's been to a caucus why in march 2020 a detroit factory worker who accused

00:17:19.500 biden of trying to infringe upon our second amendment rights again a totally legitimate complaint for

00:17:24.500 really any democratic contender at this point biden looked at him pointed at him and said you're full

00:17:30.640 of s word i'm not saying i'm not saying that these are the biggest deals in the world to me of course

00:17:37.400 i don't like it but i'm not clutching my pearls i just want to acknowledge that if trump had said any

00:17:42.340 of those things we would have been hearing about them on cable news for weeks like the we would be

00:17:48.500 hearing the darkness that trump carries with him and the disrespect he shows towards honest americans

00:17:54.640 trying to hold him accountable it's so dangerous it's unprecedented and also also let's acknowledge

00:18:03.320 that these are far more vulgar and hateful biden's uh biden's statements that i just listed far more

00:18:11.620 vulgar and hateful than most people's intentions when they're saying let's go brand it which again

00:18:17.040 like it doesn't actually have any profanity in it sure the heart behind it you could say is

00:18:21.800 disrespectful but it's nazi like it's january 6 terroristic like it's isis like come on come on

00:18:29.180 now i will acknowledge something else that goldberg touches on in this article

00:18:35.080 that people on the right would be upset if this were the other way around um we were upset by the

00:18:44.440 things said about trump publicly by influential people i would be uncomfortable to be honest i would

00:18:51.100 be uncomfortable if a pilot said something negative about trump or republicans on the intercom that's

00:18:57.800 fair like it's fair for people to be uncomfortable but also the things being said about trump were not

00:19:05.600 just silly phrases they were actual profanities not just euphemisms very often also even then was

00:19:13.420 anyone on the right calling the people who were saying f trump isis or nazis like if if someone if a 0.73

00:19:20.760 pilot got on the air and said something about i don't know what did people even say about trump

00:19:28.680 trump is bad i don't like trump whatever that's how the left memes if that was the meme that came

00:19:35.020 across the intercom when i was on a flight i wouldn't like it i would not like so that is true 0.94

00:19:40.100 would i think that he was a terrorist what that he's gonna fly our airplane and into a building because

00:19:46.520 he doesn't like donald trump no because i am not a psychopath like we may not have liked conservatives

00:19:53.740 may not have liked the things that were said about trump that is true but i don't remember any

00:19:59.740 conservatives saying those who criticize donald trump or even call him names were like islamic 0.73

00:20:05.040 terrorists or were like people who rounded up jewish people and placed them in gas chambers because that 0.99

00:20:11.140 kind of reaction is psychopathic behavior that is a deranged reaction to let's go brandon okay

00:20:15.980 these people are very very broken it's very sad another thing i would say is that conservatives

00:20:24.280 constantly endure businesses making political statements about black lives matter not merely

00:20:29.520 the sentiment which no one disagrees with the fact that black people matter of course but the

00:20:36.280 political activism the organization represents a lot of people disagree with as well as lgbtq stuff

00:20:43.480 and the response from the left is well that's not political that's not political that's just about

00:20:48.360 justice that's just about human rights sure to you to you but millions of people don't agree with

00:20:54.160 the principles of the back of the black lives matter organization which is a self-avowed marxist

00:20:59.080 organization that said on their website that they seek to disrupt and disturb the nuclear family of mom

00:21:05.100 dad kids and look a lot of people aren't buying this lunacy that men can be women and vice versa so 0.99

00:21:12.980 any statement of support of that idea is absolutely political and ideological as a conservative i would

00:21:21.200 love corporations to be neutral i would love for them to not weigh in on things like voting laws or

00:21:27.760 political narratives about police or the election or transgender bathrooms or pride month i would love that

00:21:33.920 but they do all the time and the left applauds this even though these same companies who make

00:21:40.620 all of these virtue signaling statements do business with the chinese communist party which uses slave 0.91

00:21:47.100 labor and enslaves a million muslims in concentration camps as well as they also do business with countries 1.00

00:21:54.220 in the middle east to throw gay people off of buildings the left do not want companies though to be 0.92

00:21:59.420 neutral they want them to at least be outwardly progressive but when a company or just when 0.91

00:22:05.540 one person in a company shows politics in the other direction all of a sudden it's the worst thing in the

00:22:11.000 world that's ever happened our discourse has just been brought so low into the mud and oh my goodness

00:22:15.940 all of these secret terrorists saying let's go brandon what are we to do oh the fact is a lot of people

00:22:24.560 don't like joe biden they're not happy with him after afghanistan people saw him as incompetent and

00:22:30.720 lacking the empathy and the transparency they were promised would characterize his pregnant uh his 0.98

00:22:36.140 pregnancy his presidency i mean men can get pregnant maybe joe biden can get pregnant i don't know

00:22:41.160 but his presidency um i'm gonna get to a poll that msnbc put out that shows this in just one second

00:22:49.820 so this is according to msnbc here's a headline uh biden's job rating sinks to 42 percent in nbc news

00:23:00.560 poll a year from midterm so here's what the article says just nine months into his presidency 71 percent

00:23:08.280 of americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction the poll shows now i'm guessing that those

00:23:16.580 americans probably believe it's headed in the wrong direction for different reasons but still that's

00:23:22.340 not that's not a great indication for the leader of this country a majority of americans now disapprove

00:23:28.760 of president joe biden's job performance while half give him low marks for competence in uniting the

00:23:33.900 country according to results from the latest national nbc news poll what's more the survey finds the

00:23:39.840 seven in ten adults including almost half of democrats believe the nation is headed in the wrong

00:23:44.120 direction as well as nearly 60 percent who view biden stewardship of the economy negatively just

00:23:49.420 nine months into his presidency using gallup's historical data biden's approval rating in this

00:23:55.800 poll 42 percent is lower than any other modern first-year presidents at a similar point in time

00:24:02.140 with the key exception of donald trump so donald trump's approval ratings were even lower than this but we

00:24:11.160 were also told that biden was going to be popular across the board we already knew that donald trump

00:24:17.040 was going to be a polarizing figure i mean he lost the popular vote but this president he won the popular

00:24:26.260 vote and we were told that he was going to be uniting that he was going to bring both sides together

00:24:31.900 that he was it's not going to be red or blue america that he is going to be this moderate empathetic guy

00:24:37.820 so the fact that uh only donald trump beats him in a low approval rating at this time in his presidency

00:24:45.220 i think it's it's pretty telling and it's really gone down in particular since april so his approval

00:24:51.280 rating in april according to this nbc article was 53 percent in august it was 49 percent august is when

00:24:58.260 afghanistan happened and then by october it was 42 percent and then there was another nbc news poll and

00:25:04.920 this reporting comes from the daily caller that says an nbc news poll published sunday found that

00:25:10.860 voters considered republicans to be far more competent than democrats to address a range of

00:25:15.580 major issues the poll asked respondents to name the party they thought would do a better job

00:25:21.020 of handling specific threats and problems facing the nation the results showed that republicans enjoyed

00:25:26.680 double digit edges on border security by 27 points inflation by 24 points crime by 22 points national

00:25:36.020 security by 21 points the economy by 18 points and being effective in getting things done by 13 points

00:25:44.060 i mean that's a big deal now the only issue that these respondents thought democrats did a better job on

00:25:51.900 is climate change but the fact of the matter is that's not a high priority for most americans today

00:25:56.660 most americans who are feeling the consequences of biden's failed leadership and of the democratic

00:26:01.720 failed progressive policies and all of these major cities that are deteriorating because of these

00:26:06.980 progressive policies they're not really as concerned with climate change right now they're concerned about

00:26:12.040 keeping their family safe and being able to provide for their family those are always the things that

00:26:16.100 people are going to care about progressives can pretend that people don't care about that that they can

00:26:20.160 just defund the police and everyone will be happy but people don't like anarchy human beings don't

00:26:25.480 function well without security and without safety speaking of security let's look at some of these

00:26:31.620 let's look at some of these issues one of the biggest ones being the border so migrants were 0.68

00:26:36.740 encountered 1.7 million times at the border in the last 12 months the highest number of illegal

00:26:42.160 crossing since at least 1960 since at least 1960 this is directly because the biden administration is

00:26:50.880 incentivizing these people and is promising they pay attention to politics abroad they pay attention

00:26:57.380 to who's in charge they know democrats are at least now the party of amnesty the party that

00:27:02.880 thinks that it is inhumane to deport people for the most part and is going to be more lax on border

00:27:09.020 policy i guarantee you they watched what happened with the poor border patrol agent that was trying to do

00:27:14.860 his job on a horse and trying to guard the border against illegal haitian migrants and he got thrown 0.54

00:27:21.240 under the bus he got demonized by this administration i mean he grabbed the guy by the shirt and we were

00:27:27.300 told that he was you know treating them like slaves or like cattle or something i mean they see this kind

00:27:33.300 of thing democrats are lazy and lax and i think wicked on um on border policy here are a few things that

00:27:41.580 the biden administration has done to exacerbate this humanitarian crisis not just for the people

00:27:46.940 in the united states not just for the american citizens living at the border um many of them by

00:27:52.340 the way who are immigrants but also the women and children especially the children who are making this 0.99

00:27:59.680 trek thinking that they are going to be able to come to the united states and get all of the benefits

00:28:03.780 and privileges of living in the united states it's a very dangerous trek for them not just because of the

00:28:09.800 physical toll that it takes on a person's body but uh also because of the high risk of sexual assault

00:28:17.080 especially for young girls and trafficking drug trafficking i mean it's not good for anyone open borders

00:28:23.080 is not good for anyone it's not good for the countries that these people are emigrating from and it's not 1.00

00:28:28.980 good for the people at the border it's not good for american citizens it's not good for mexico it is bad news

00:28:34.460 all around the new york post reports this biden is spending over two billion dollars to halt border wall

00:28:43.500 construction amid migrant crisis so uh the article says president joe biden is spending at least three

00:28:51.120 million dollars a day on contractors to watch steel rust in the desert and so there is all of this

00:28:56.260 material to continue constructing the border wall that obviously we know president trump campaigned on

00:29:02.280 and it's just sitting there he purposely halted the construction of this barrier that we know would

00:29:09.980 help mitigate this crisis at least some so senate republicans found this they found um that he is

00:29:16.920 spending all of this money watching the steel just go to waste despite the ongoing crisis there

00:29:23.000 gop members of the senate subcommittee on government operations and border management released a report in

00:29:28.500 july 2021 it found that at least 20 percent of the 10 billion dollars this is our money guys taxpayer

00:29:35.160 money received by the pentagon for border wall construction has instead been spent on guarding

00:29:39.840 construction sites and terminating active construct contracts for the construction of the border wall

00:29:47.700 cnn reported biden administration canceling more border wall contracts the department of homeland

00:29:55.060 security announced that the biden administration is canceling more border wall contracts in laredo

00:29:59.640 and the rio grande valley the dhs said friday it will cancel all remaining border barrier contracts

00:30:05.780 in that laredo sector i mean you guys saw the conditions that these haitians were living in 1.00

00:30:11.200 at the border and they're saying that they're not going to do anything to make the lives and the jobs of

00:30:18.480 these border patrol agents easier they're actually going to make it so much harder i mean those people

00:30:24.600 are human too they're trying to do their job unless we forget countries sovereign countries must have

00:30:30.760 borders and to have borders you have to have border enforcement it is compassionate to enforce your

00:30:36.080 borders it's compassionate for everyone it makes prudent logical sense we've talked about the morality

00:30:41.880 and the compassion of borders and border policy in the past open borders is wicked policy it's wicked

00:30:48.780 it leads to anarchy it leads to all kinds of evils that we've already talked about many times and the

00:30:55.420 biden administration is exacerbating this this is one of the many reasons why people are upset with the

00:31:00.680 biden administration they returned to the catch and release policy so they would catch these illegal

00:31:05.480 migrants crossing the border they would release them into the interior of the united states although the 0.97

00:31:10.780 supreme court did rule in august that they had to reinstate the remain in mexico policy but the

00:31:16.540 administration has announced they'll craft a memo to rescind this effective uh the effective policy

00:31:22.240 the remain in mexico policy is an effective policy they don't want to do it overnight flights transporting

00:31:27.900 illegal um illegal migrants and their kids uh are happening from the border into the interior of the

00:31:35.180 united states and fox news reporter peter ducey asked press secretary jensaki about this in a press

00:31:44.180 conference and he said you know why are you why are you making these flights in the middle of in the

00:31:50.880 middle of the night in the dark of the night uh in you know westchester county new york to jacksonville

00:31:56.880 florida and saki said oh this is not happening in the middle of the night these are early flights

00:32:03.000 earlier than you might like to take a flight 2 30 a.m 4 a.m so it's just a very odd response you

00:32:09.400 obviously didn't want to answer it and um she's saying you know this is our responsibility and

00:32:16.680 we're not just talking about these little kids which would be problematic too like it would be

00:32:20.580 problematic if we were just flying these unaccompanied minors into the interior of the 1.00

00:32:24.820 united states what's happening to them but i mean we're also talking about like 17 year old men 15 to

00:32:30.300 17 year old men are being shipped unaccompanied to these random cities in the united states who's even

00:32:38.180 tracking any of this the new york post exclusively reported um that as many as 2 000 children and

00:32:44.600 teens have been carried on at least 21 charter flights that landed in westchester new york since

00:32:49.440 august 8th um and then there's the washington examiner who reported in may 2021 that late night

00:32:55.760 flights transporting migrant children to tennessee raised questions with lawmakers that's happening

00:33:01.480 in chattanooga and again this is also happening in new york as the new york post is reporting and then

00:33:09.720 there's this other story that people are very understandably upset about that uh this is was

00:33:16.480 originally reported by the wall street journal that this administration is considering making payments

00:33:22.160 of 450 000 to each person separated from their family at the southern border quote the payments are part of

00:33:30.640 settlement talks for several lawsuits that claim the u.s government's policies under trump left

00:33:36.420 children with lasting psychological effects according to the journal the u.s departments of justice

00:33:41.540 homeland security the health and human services are and health and human services are in talks to offer each

00:33:47.720 person who had been separated 450 000 according to the journal most families who have crossed the border are

00:33:55.420 made up of one parent and one child meaning each family would get 900 000 if the settlement were to

00:34:01.240 go through by the way a lot of these cases where these minors were separated from the adult that

00:34:06.800 accompanied them the adult was not their actual parent they were either being trafficked or this was a

00:34:11.300 smuggler that was getting paid to bring this child across the border not in all cases were these these innocent

00:34:19.220 parents separated from their children now in those cases i disagree with the separation i want true parents and

00:34:25.340 kids to stay together absolutely but 900 000 to people who aren't even citizens of this country when

00:34:32.660 we are already overspending when american citizens are struggling why is the government settling why are

00:34:39.240 they choosing to settle here that doesn't make any sense you know every other country enforces its

00:34:45.060 borders in the countries who haven't like in europe over the past few years they are dealing with very

00:34:50.220 serious and deadly repercussions due to that i mean this is insanity people actually thought that the

00:34:57.000 biden administration and democrats in charge were going to allow reparations for black americans to go 0.89

00:35:03.760 through and no no that's not obviously that's not the priority the priority is paying a form of

00:35:11.260 reparations to people who aren't even citizens of this country um another thing that people are upset

00:35:17.480 about understandably is that it seems like america is less safe now this isn't as much a federal issue

00:35:22.800 as it is a local issue but the cities who have decided to defund the police have seen an uptick

00:35:29.360 and violent crime and specifically murder and joe biden said um when he was campaigning back in july

00:35:37.300 of 2020 in a now this exclusive interview that he absolutely believes that we should cut police funds

00:35:45.440 now he has flip-flopped on this several times uh he was asked according to the new york post in august of

00:35:52.760 2020 that um he he was asked if money should be redirected away from cops and he said yes absolutely

00:36:01.360 and the charter for his alliance with bernie sanders vowed to reinvigorate community policing um and he

00:36:10.120 really aligned with the people who wanted to defund the police as far as their community policing goals

00:36:16.600 go uh but he has kind of gone back and forth on his support of police officers but he didn't get the

00:36:26.560 support of police officers in the campaign because he was so wishy-washy on this and because he seemed

00:36:31.280 to at least ostensibly support this idea of redirecting funding away from the police and if you look at the

00:36:37.740 repercussions of that it's not good the cities that have cut police budgets have not only seen

00:36:44.800 violent crime and murder rise over the past year but they're also showing a lot of hypocrisy so

00:36:50.780 forbes.com has an interesting article that talks about the 25 major cities uh that have cut police

00:36:58.720 funding in the past year uh they have also upped the budget for their own personal protection these

00:37:05.920 mayors and city officials so in chicago illinois for example the city spent 17.3 million dollars

00:37:13.800 between 2015 and 2020 to guard unnamed city officials that's as mayor lloyd lightfoot says

00:37:19.380 she opposed she's opposed defunding police while we found 400 police officer uh positions were quietly

00:37:26.340 cut during 2020 so she said that she opposed defunding the police but she cut 400 police officers i mean

00:37:32.940 chicago is riddled with violent crime the victims of which are disproportionately black men the very 0.99

00:37:39.040 people that these politicians say that they care about then if you look at san francisco california

00:37:44.420 the city spent 12.4 million dollars between uh to 2015 and 2020 to protect the mayor london breed

00:37:50.840 that's a san francisco officials promised to divest 120 million dollars from police over two years

00:37:58.680 then you've got a place like baltimore the city spent 3.6 million dollars in 2024 14 police to cover

00:38:05.800 the mayor brendan scott's um yet baltimore has eliminated about 22 million dollars from its police

00:38:13.600 budget san diego california same story denver colorado same story and then you've got oakland

00:38:20.420 california minneapolis minnesota portland oregon atlanta georgia they are reallocating funds or they have

00:38:28.060 reallocated funds away from the police in the name of caring about racial justice meanwhile they are

00:38:33.820 securing and even increasing the budgets for their own personal protection the mayor and the city

00:38:39.140 council members and city officials so people see the hypocrisy of this kind of thing they see the

00:38:45.020 deadly repercussions of defunding the police and they remember that joe biden was on that side when he

00:38:50.500 campaigned and then the thing that people are really feeling also the supply chain issues and biden's

00:38:56.340 agenda is worsening the supply chain so you can still maybe get the essentials that you need some

00:39:01.300 places are worse than others but you know where i go i go to the target in an affluent area of where i

00:39:08.740 live and there were several shelves that were empty with just normal stuff and i'm not trying to complain

00:39:14.080 my family is surviving and all of that but that matters especially for low-income people and the prices

00:39:20.420 are rising on these goods and services that working class and poor americans just can't afford and

00:39:26.340 biden's agenda is worsening this this is according to national review the administration is pushing a

00:39:32.060 one trillion dollar infrastructure bill and a reconciliation bill for which the final cost though

00:39:37.260 yet to be determined would likely be upwards of two trillion dollars the aim of these bills is to put

00:39:42.980 more money into the economy that money will fuel more demand both directly in the form of say

00:39:47.800 increased purchases of parts for electric charging stations and indirectly as child care subsidies

00:39:52.700 push consumers to spend more in other areas but that will all place extra stress on the supply chain

00:39:59.900 which is really more like a network uh heightened demand for one good can lead factories to produce

00:40:05.780 it around the clock which can in turn increase those factories energy demand this not only pushes

00:40:10.720 up energy prices but creates shortages or inflation in other goods now produced in lower quantity that in turn

00:40:19.200 will help cause even more inflation the administration's preferred policies will significantly affect the

00:40:25.960 supply side as well take trucking the administration wants a federal version of california's ab5 bill

00:40:32.260 that we've talked about that before we'll link it in the episode description would be a disaster for

00:40:37.720 everyone who is a small business owner or a freelancer they want to federalize california's ab5 and turn

00:40:43.800 more freelancers into employees with employment benefits will which will mean higher unemployment

00:40:49.220 because companies won't take on the people they have been using as contractors and freelancers

00:40:53.660 and give them those employment benefits they just won't use those services anymore

00:40:57.860 this is terrible especially for working moms who enjoy the flexibility of a freelance job 1.00

00:41:03.460 the article goes on to say however the trucking industry is mostly made up of freelance owner

00:41:08.280 operators so again if they federalize ab5 the way that this admin wants to then that's going to affect

00:41:15.940 the trucking industry which will even further strain the supply chain the supply chain problem is complex and

00:41:23.580 tied to the pandemic more than anything else to date most of the administration's policy moves are sure

00:41:29.380 to make it worse as i said we are seeing the increase of cost of many goods so a lot of places are seeing

00:41:40.300 this inflation rental cars up 43 percent over last september gas is up 42 percent versus last year used

00:41:48.560 cars up 24 percent bacon up 19 percent hotels up 18 percent beef up 18 percent pork eggs tvs all up 13 percent

00:41:58.540 kids shoes up 12 percent furniture up 11 percent new cars up 9 percent chicken up 8 percent apples up 8

00:42:05.360 restaurant prices up 5 electricity up 5 rent up 2.9 percent now maybe that doesn't really impact you

00:42:14.840 maybe you're able to you're able to afford all of the changes in those prices but a lot of people can't

00:42:21.920 we were told that this democratic administration was going to care for the poor the poor aren't doing

00:42:27.200 well right now a lot of small business owners oh not even small business owners a lot of retailers

00:42:32.460 are really struggling to hire people because of the benefits that have been put in place by

00:42:39.260 democrats who are in power a lot of people simply aren't going back to work that's not all on the

00:42:45.080 shoulders of democrats in this administration but certainly some of it is and then um smart her news

00:42:52.220 which is a it's a news outlet and a news source that i really like to follow on instagram uh they

00:42:59.160 did a post that said that this might be the most expensive thanksgiving meal in the history of the

00:43:06.580 holiday and they point out that food prices are up four percent compared to last year ten percent of

00:43:11.820 food items price uh prices uh directly relates to farming the rest is other variables like transportation

00:43:18.940 which we just touched on um the prices are rising because of increased demand pandemic related

00:43:24.800 disruptions fuel costs um labor shortages and the supply chain issues that we just talked about that

00:43:30.760 are being exacerbated by this administration and the policies that they are pushing for the price of

00:43:36.880 turkeys may reach record highs this year as producers anticipated higher demand with the return of larger

00:43:43.900 gatherings but it's not all demand of course as uh we already discussed so that's a big issue people

00:43:51.020 are feeling this in their pocketbooks people don't like to feel that in their pocketbooks the economy was

00:43:56.020 good under donald trump there was an induced economic coma because of not the pandemic but because of

00:44:03.340 democratic states pandemic policies the lockdown policies the shutting down of businesses which were not

00:44:09.380 scientific and not helpful and ruined people's lives and livelihoods yes the economy crashed during that

00:44:15.200 time but that wasn't because of donald trump donald trump wanted things to be open as safely and as securely

00:44:23.060 as they could it was the democratic politicians and the rhino politicians that shut things down and hurt the 1.00

00:44:29.160 economy there's also the problem of shutting down the keystone pipeline that's something that joe biden did

00:44:35.640 putting america last biden canceled a key permit for the 1200 mile pipeline on his first day in office

00:44:42.580 citing climate change but according to cbn news that moved that move costs thousands of u.s construction

00:44:50.800 jobs and will impact the nation's oil and gas production the pipeline was projected to deliver 35

00:44:55.860 million gallons of canadian crude to refineries in the u.s every day upon its completion but now of course

00:45:02.800 it's not going to do this now the biden administration is saying you know they're concerned about gas

00:45:09.800 prices now that we're not relying on north american oil so it is calling on opec russia and other oil

00:45:17.340 exporters um russia and other oil exporters which is collectively known as opec to increase production

00:45:24.460 um and so rather than relying on ourselves for our oil now they are relying to the middle east they're

00:45:34.340 bending a knee according to forbes.com to the oil rich middle east and none of biden's predecessors did

00:45:41.620 so while pursuing an aggressive anti-oil agenda and so it's costing us it's costing us some people are

00:45:49.460 saying oh there's greater demand for gas there's more people driving that's why the numbers are up

00:45:55.000 not entirely it's because biden decided that we are no longer going to be energy independent but we

00:46:00.860 are going to be relying on some of the most evil regimes in the world for our oil that's a huge

00:46:07.080 problem and then we've got all of his covid policy we saw what i thought was a draconian move

00:46:13.440 in cutting covid treatments to red states the biden administration had been shipping the antibody

00:46:18.720 treatments each week on an as-needed basis to places like texas and florida and then after he

00:46:24.140 made his big announcement about vaccine mandates for corporations at the beginning of september

00:46:28.840 he said that he was um or the administration after that speech said that they were going to actually

00:46:35.000 cut supply of monoclonal antibodies to places like florida and texas of course they cited equity

00:46:40.800 but it didn't make any sense to change from going from an as-needed basis to whatever arbitrary number

00:46:47.340 they decided it seemed a lot like politics because the governors of texas and florida decided that

00:46:52.620 they weren't going to go along with biden's vaccine mandate so it seemed a little punitive and that's

00:46:59.000 really scary that is very draconian of course people are very upset about the vaccine mandates

00:47:04.740 um in general and his insistence upon forcing these uh forcing these companies to enforce vaccines

00:47:17.740 and so the wall street journal says president biden's vaccine mandate for private sector businesses with

00:47:24.700 100 or more workers and details on how the requirement will work will likely be released later this week

00:47:30.940 according to people familiar with the matter this was published yesterday the labor department's

00:47:36.940 occupational safety and health administration osha has been developing the vaccine mandate under a

00:47:42.700 federal rulemaking called an emergency temporary standard employers who fall under the regulation

00:47:48.940 must develop implement and enforce a mandatory covid19 vaccination policy unless they adopt a policy

00:47:56.280 requiring employees to choose either to get vaccinated or to undergo regular covid19 testing and wear a

00:48:03.820 face covering at work the osha rules also require employers to provide pay time off so workers can

00:48:10.560 receive the covid19 vaccine employers that don't comply can face fines up to of up to roughly 13 600 a

00:48:19.320 violation the administration has said and there are states who are suing biden over this there are religious

00:48:25.320 liberty issues if you've got a sincere religious objection to for example the use of fetal cells

00:48:32.340 and the research and the development of some of these vaccines then you are being discriminated against

00:48:37.740 essentially because of your religion if you are not granted a religious exemption i mean this is taking

00:48:42.340 away the lives and livelihoods of a lot of people and while there are people and companies who are for

00:48:47.100 this there are a lot of people who aren't even people who are vaccinated even people who are very pro

00:48:51.820 vaccine even democrats are against this so this is all making him very wildly unpopular and there are

00:48:58.620 many other things that we could get to as well but these are things that are really affecting people's

00:49:03.840 everyday life they are not seeing this president of empathy this this president of um of unity that he

00:49:12.120 said that he was going to be of course he has been radical on things like abortion he has been radical on

00:49:18.220 things like gender ideology they have a new gender strategy the biden harris administration um it's this

00:49:27.200 uh international gender strategy that says that they are trying to work for the full inclusion of

00:49:34.920 women's and girls when really they are trying to rewrite what the definition of women and girls and they

00:49:42.760 also claim in this national gender strategy to be trying to advance the so-called right of abortion and so

00:49:50.320 they are very rabid and wanting to uh ensure that more babies can be aborted that's of course why

00:49:59.340 biden the biden administration is suing the state of texas because of their anti-abortion law

00:50:06.580 he has been very out front in wanting more abortions and more access to abortion i do just wonder what

00:50:14.500 the evangelicals for biden are thinking right now like all the people that claimed that he was going

00:50:21.160 to be the man of compassion he was going to bring decency back to the oval office that he was going to

00:50:26.440 care about the least of these that somehow we were going to get social racial justice look the most

00:50:31.120 vulnerable in this country are suffering right now because of democratic policies and i hate to say

00:50:36.220 i told you so but we did we did we told you this was how it was going to be and look you can be mad

00:50:42.540 at donald trump's tweets you can be mad at some of the things that he said maybe if you're on the left

00:50:47.080 you're even mad about some of his policies the fact of the matter is objectively the most so-called

00:50:52.460 marginalized people in this country were doing better economically and freedom-wise under trump than

00:50:58.820 they are under joe biden and it's directly because of joe biden's policies we told you this was going to

00:51:05.020 happen that he was coming in as this trojan horse of saying that he was going you know he's saying he

00:51:09.680 was going to be a moderate he's not a moderate he's got radicals behind him he hasn't been able

00:51:14.680 to be as radical as he's wanted to be thankfully because of the filibuster and because of some

00:51:21.280 moderate sane democrats that are in the senate um and because of the supreme court that at least has

00:51:27.440 a modicum of sanity still on it they haven't been able to pack the supreme court like they've wanted to

00:51:32.300 they haven't been able to eliminate the filibuster as they've wanted to and so we've been able to

00:51:36.600 stave off some tyranny but the man or at least the people behind him are a radical now joe biden

00:51:42.520 himself doesn't really know what's going on okay he doesn't he doesn't really know what's going on and

00:51:49.340 i don't say that to be rude like i do not want to make light of dementia there are some of you who

00:51:54.620 have lost parents and grandparents and great-grandparents from dementia it's serious okay so when i say

00:51:59.560 that he seems to be suffering mentally and that he has some characteristics that are like dementia

00:52:05.600 i am not saying that because i want to make fun of him because i want to you know make light of the

00:52:11.940 severity of that disease but the fact of the matter is he's supposed to be commander-in-chief

00:52:15.840 like he is supposed to be the leader of the free world and he he's supposed to be taken seriously

00:52:20.880 not just by americans but also by our global leaders and you can say all you want to

00:52:26.780 um about trump and about some of trump's rhetoric he was not like he was not like joe biden joe biden

00:52:34.320 is not there he was just seen sleeping at the international summit in rome that he's in there

00:52:40.220 was also this crazy rumor that he might have had this is not funny again it would be funny if it

00:52:46.200 weren't so sad and i don't this is something i'm just telling you about something that was circulating

00:52:50.340 online some of you have asked me about and you asked me if joe biden really did poop his pants

00:52:55.680 when he was meeting with the pope that is apparently the word around rome that the meeting took a long

00:53:02.960 time because he had he had a bathroom accident i really hope that's not true sincerely i hope that's

00:53:07.220 not true as much as i don't like joe biden's policies i don't want him to be a laughing stock

00:53:12.000 like i don't want him to be falling asleep on the job literally i don't want him to be losing it i don't

00:53:17.660 i don't i want him to be with it i want him to command respect i want him to demonstrate strength on

00:53:23.320 the world stage i do because i love this country i pray for him and i pray that he has wisdom and

00:53:28.920 that he has courage unfortunately i don't think that we're seeing that and i'm gonna play you a

00:53:33.140 little montage that shows just a snippet of what i'm talking about okay let me play you this little

00:53:39.820 montage of our president the leader of the free world this is just a little bit of what i'm talking

00:53:46.880 about maybe why people on both sides of the aisle have lost lost confidence in the biden

00:53:51.900 administration here's our president and i want to thank uh that fellow down under thank you very

00:53:58.220 much pal it looks like a tornado they don't call him that anymore as one computer said if you're on

00:54:04.100 the train and they say portal bridge you know you better make other plans last night i was on the

00:54:09.760 television on television i was on the telephone with 40 of all products coming into the united states

00:54:18.320 america on the west coast go through uh los angeles and uh and uh um uh um what am i doing here so the

00:54:27.040 best way to get something done if you if it holds near and dear to you that you uh um like to be able

00:54:34.020 to anyway you've seen those hundreds of people packed into a c-17 we've seen afghans falling 1.00

00:54:41.980 four days ago five days ago i mean that's not even some of the worst ones guys like that's us

00:54:50.260 being super nice that first one you might have not been able to tell he was in some kind of press

00:54:55.720 conference with boris johnson uh of the uk and also the prime minister of australia and he forgot his

00:55:05.860 name our pal down under that seems like something that you should probably know seems maybe important

00:55:12.580 um so he's just he's losing it like if you watch any of these cnn town halls like he just can't

00:55:19.700 keep it together he can't remember what he's supposed to be saying and what he's talking about

00:55:24.320 like remember when he was trying to say i think the declaration of independence he said all men are

00:55:30.600 created you know the thing i mean this has been happening for a little bit this is not the

00:55:35.580 joe biden of yesteryear super disappointing so for any of you who might be confused as to why joe

00:55:42.140 biden's ratings are so low why so many people are against him right now here are just a few of the

00:55:48.260 reasons a few of the reasons why people are not excited about a joe biden presidency i hope this

00:55:53.400 clarifies things i think let's go brandon um is a very nice way for some people to say that they

00:56:02.420 disagree with his policies which are disproportionately affecting the working class and poor americans i

00:56:07.060 thought we were supposed to care about that all right i'll see you guys back here tomorrow

00:56:10.980 you

00:56:12.980 you

00:56:23.540 you
