Summary
You are enough because God created you. That's the message Haley Bieber delivered in a recent interview with Hillsong Church. It's a great reminder that we are all enough because we are created by God and He created us for Him.

Hello, relatable listeners. Happy Wednesday. I hope you guys are having a great week. And I hope
00:00:05.800
that this just gives you the motivation that you need to get you through your week. So it's Wednesday.
00:00:10.860
We are going to talk theology. I hate that it's not theological Thursdays because that sounded so
00:00:16.180
good. But you can think about this as like a midweek motivation. I don't really know if that's
00:00:23.320
what I want to say. But like Wednesday, you know, if you grew up Baptist like me, you went to church
00:00:28.140
on Wednesdays and Sunday nights. And so you could think of this kind of as church, but of course,
00:00:32.340
not as church because I'm a woman. So I wouldn't be preaching in front of the mixed congregation.
00:00:36.260
You know what I'm saying? But Wednesday is just going to have to be theological Wednesdays,
00:00:41.180
even though it doesn't sound nearly as catchy as theological Thursdays. So today on this
00:00:46.680
theological Wednesday, we are going to talk about a video that Hillsong put up with Haley Bieber in it.
00:00:53.460
Now, this is the second time that we have used something by Haley Bieber as the foundation or
00:00:58.700
the impetus for a conversation about theology, really about wrong theology. I don't want it to
00:01:04.620
seem like I am singling her out at all. I think that she is beautiful. She is talented and she
00:01:10.480
might just be kind of navigating what it means to be a Christian in the public eye. Maybe she's
00:01:14.720
working through some of her theology and she is being sanctified in that. I think that's great.
00:01:19.200
I don't want it to seem like I'm bullying her or that I'm singling her out and harassing her bad
00:01:24.060
theology. I am not. I imagine that it would be really hard to be sanctified and coming to terms
00:01:31.040
with what it means to have your identity be in Christ in such a public sphere, because then people
00:01:35.640
like Hillsong interview you as if you're some theological expert. And then all of your views
00:01:40.920
are out there when really maybe you're still trying to figure it out. Maybe you are still working
00:01:45.380
through your salvation with fear and trembling, which is something that we are all called to do.
00:01:48.620
Unfortunately, what we have seen and this is only a tiny, tiny snippet from a longer interview that
00:01:55.720
I didn't fully watch because I had to give my personal information in order to watch it and I
00:02:01.000
didn't want to do that. So I just watched the snippet and we're just going to talk about the idea
00:02:05.080
behind this snippet and we're going to use that as a jumping off point. This really doesn't have
00:02:10.080
very much to do with her at all. We're not even going to get into Hillsong, which has its own set of
00:02:15.840
problems. It's just the idea that she said. A lot of you guys sent me this video. We're going to use
00:02:20.760
the idea that she talked about as our jumping off point. So let me play you that really short clip
00:02:26.740
really fast. I think that every person have had that feeling that they're not enough for
00:02:34.140
something, for someone. And I questioned that myself about being enough for people, for someone, for
00:02:42.820
this industry, for my job, for what I do. It's like you are because God took his time to create me and
00:02:52.920
put me in this place. Right. That's your answer right there. Wow. You're enough because he created
00:02:57.820
you because you are existing and living and breathing on this planet. Okay. So what you heard
00:03:04.020
from her was that you are enough because God created you. And that sounds really good. I mean,
00:03:12.100
a lot of what she is saying, I think relates to people because it's legitimate. Everyone struggles
00:03:16.440
with insecurity. Everyone struggles with feeling insufficient. Everyone struggles with the opinions
00:03:22.380
of other people. And if that does dictate our worth and define how valuable we are. And so what she's
00:03:29.080
saying relates probably to a lot of especially young women, because we kind of deal with all of these
00:03:35.680
standards in our head that we think that we have to reach. And so it sounds very comforting. It's like
00:03:42.060
a bomb for our soul when we hear you are enough because God created you. And as a Christian, you might
00:03:48.220
hear that and think, yes, that's absolutely true. I'm so glad that she gets that, that you are enough
00:03:53.920
because God created you. I'm not going to overanalyze what she meant or what she didn't
00:03:59.160
mean by that. Because like I said, this is a small part of a larger interview, but I'm going to take
00:04:06.580
that one line that a lot of Christians, I think would probably agree with that you are enough because
00:04:12.400
God created you. And I am going to talk about why that is fundamentally untrue. It sounds really good
00:04:21.680
because we're heard, we're told, uh, other people's opinions. If you don't define your worth, you should
00:04:28.940
be looking at God. You should ask God, how valuable that you, how valuable you are. And it's true that
00:04:35.680
because you are a human being, you are made in the image of God. And because you are made in the image
00:04:42.160
of God, you are more valuable than any other creature on earth because you are the only part of
00:04:48.840
creation. You are the only kind of creation that has a soul. Because you have a soul, you have an
00:04:55.260
eternal destination. And because you have an eternal destination, you have a purpose. And that purpose is
00:05:00.700
found in Christ. So yes, as a human being saved or not, you are valuable and you are worth more than
00:05:09.180
any other creature, any other part of creation that exists in this universe. So it is true that because
00:05:17.520
you are made by God, you are valuable, you are different. You are set apart from the animals,
00:05:24.300
from the plants, from the other parts of creation. But it is not true that because you are a human being
00:05:30.740
made by God, that you are enough. That is not true. Uh, if you are enough because God created you,
00:05:38.660
then there is no need for Jesus. Uh, God made you incomplete. He made you insufficient. He made you
00:05:50.140
to be dependent. If that were not true, if that were not true, if you were enough simply because God
00:05:57.940
made you, then there is no need for Christ. All you would have to do is lead a moral life, find what makes
00:06:04.500
you happy and do that. And unfortunately, that's what a lot of Christians think. That as long as
00:06:10.380
you can look to God and remember that you are enough, that you are loved and you can feel good
00:06:16.300
about yourself, then you can go on living and it's all good. As if that was the only reason why the
00:06:22.720
Bible was written. As if that's the only reason that God exists for us. That's the only reason why
00:06:27.680
Jesus came to die. So we could feel good about ourselves and remember that because we are made
00:06:32.840
by God, that we are enough. But quite frankly, we are not. Like I said, we were made incomplete.
00:06:39.980
Uh, we see throughout the Bible time and again, when men and women thought that they were sufficient
00:06:46.920
without God, that when they thought that they were sufficient in and of themselves, when they thought
00:06:52.100
that they were independent, uh, that destruction ensued, uh, when they insisted that they were enough,
00:06:59.540
things did not end well. Think about the garden of Eden. Uh, Eve wandered from God's commands. She
00:07:06.740
lingered too close, uh, to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. She was tempted by Satan to eat
00:07:12.980
the forbidden fruit. And what did the serpent say? If you eat this, you will be like God. You will have
00:07:19.720
his power. You will have his wisdom. You will know the difference between good and evil. Therefore you
00:07:25.760
will be independent. You won't need him anymore. You'll be self-sufficient. You will no longer be
00:07:29.800
reliant. You will no longer be lacking. You will have everything. And then we know what happens after
00:07:35.380
that. Things did not end well, not only for Adam and Eve, but also for humanity. I'm reading through
00:07:40.700
the book of Judges right now, which is a beautiful book that makes so clear, just like many other books in
00:07:48.300
the Bible, if not every book of the Bible, just how, just how needy we are of God, that whenever
00:07:54.320
people turn from God, whenever they disobeyed, whenever they insisted that they were enough,
00:07:58.840
that they knew better, that destruction ensued, that people suffered, that people died. Uh, they
00:08:04.560
learned the hard way that yes, indeed they are made to be dependent on God, that they are not enough.
00:08:10.660
So Haley Bieber is right in that we do all feel that at times we are not enough, but the comfort for
00:08:19.560
that nagging feeling of insufficiency that we all have, that nagging feeling of inadequacy that we all
00:08:26.360
feel is not that yes, you are sufficient, inadequate, and worthy simply because you're a human. If that's,
00:08:33.760
if, if that's true, then we don't need Christ. The truth is, is that I am completely empty. I am
00:08:41.560
completely useless. I am completely inadequate and sinful and depraved and have no capacity for
00:08:47.220
righteousness, but God, but God being rich in mercy because of the great love with which he loved us
00:08:53.880
made us alive together with Christ by grace. You have been saved. That's Ephesians two. Uh, Jesus died
00:08:59.700
because you and I are not enough. Jesus suffered a gruesome death on the cross and rose again three
00:09:06.200
days later because you and I are not enough. We are wicked sinners in need of a savior. We are not
00:09:12.960
enough. Ephesians two says that we are dead apart from Christ. We talk about that line a lot on this
00:09:19.080
podcast. Dead means dead. You are nothing apart from Christ. Romans five, eight says that while we were
00:09:25.880
yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans five, 10 says for, if while we were enemies, we were
00:09:31.120
reconciled to God by the death of his son, much more now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved
00:09:37.200
by his life? So that means that before Christ, we were nothing. We were dead. We were enemies of God.
00:09:45.400
No, we were not enough. We were completely insufficient and we were bound for hell. As Psalm 14, two through
00:09:51.380
three says, the Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who
00:09:56.400
understand any who seek after God, they have all turned aside together. They have become, become
00:10:02.740
corrupt. There is none who does good, not even one. So what makes you and I enough is not simply that
00:10:10.920
we are human, not simply that we are here, not simply that we exist, but it's Jesus, not the fact
00:10:16.620
just that God created us, but Jesus completes us. Jesus makes us whole. Jesus makes us worthy.
00:10:23.400
Jesus gives us our identity. Jesus gives us salvation. He gives us righteousness. He makes
00:10:28.520
you and I enough. So with a non-Christian, if a young non-Christian woman is, is struggling with
00:10:35.860
insecurity, she's struggling with inadequacy. It does no good for me to say, you are enough.
00:10:44.000
You're enough. You're enough. As you are, you don't need to worry about anything. You're fine. As is
00:10:48.860
you're enough. Just because God made you know that, that, that leaves out the best part that leaves out
00:10:56.080
the hope of the gospel. Yes, you are made in God's image, but that means, as you've said, we have a soul
00:11:02.620
that soul is eternal. It has an eternal destination, which means you've got an eternal purpose. Uh, that
00:11:09.620
purpose, your eternal salvation is found in Jesus. You want security that lasts. You want stability that
00:11:15.940
lasts. Look to Jesus. So the line that you are enough because God made you is almost this very
00:11:24.960
subtle, this very indiscernible, almost symptom of this me first Christianity of the self love
00:11:31.580
Christianity. If you are enough because God made you and that's it, then you have no need for real
00:11:39.860
biblical Christianity outside of just what it does to make you feel good about yourself. Jesus becomes,
00:11:47.060
as we've talked about this gal pal, who was just here to remind you that you're fine, that everything
00:11:52.500
you want to do is good, that whatever happiness you want to pursue is, is okay by him. He's just here to
00:11:58.960
tell you that you're good enough, but that's not who Jesus is. That's not what the Bible says.
00:12:04.140
Nowhere in the Bible does God tell someone that you are enough. In fact, we see God a lot saying,
00:12:09.840
you can do nothing without me. You're not good enough without me. You don't even know how to be
00:12:14.540
holy. You don't even know how to seek me. That's, that's not even your choice. You can't even think
00:12:20.200
about doing something truly good without me because all of you are corrupt to your core. The Bible does not
00:12:26.940
describe Jesus as a gal pal who is here to tell you that you are enough to make you feel good about
00:12:33.500
yourself and to condone whatever pursuits you have. Jesus is Lord of your life. He's not here to coddle
00:12:40.120
you. He's not here to make you feel pretty. He is here to completely wreck shop, to completely tear it
00:12:47.920
all down. He opens up your heart. He looks around and he says, this is mine. All of it. There is not a
00:12:54.840
single part of this life that I am not going to claim as my own. As C.S. Lewis says, Jesus does not
00:13:02.180
come into your life to torment the natural self, but to kill it. Colossians 3, 3 through 5, your old
00:13:08.460
self has died and your new life is kept with Christ in God. Jesus comes in and says that nothing in your
00:13:15.240
life is going to come untouched. No, nothing in your life is going to go unexposed. No sin is not going to
00:13:22.920
be made light. No darkness is not going to have light shed upon it. You can't hide. You cannot fake
00:13:27.740
it. You can't pretend. I am laying claim on everything. Jesus says, he says, you're mine now.
00:13:33.100
And it's time to get to the hard work of sanctification. Oh, you thought that I was just
00:13:37.280
going to come in and save you. You thought that I was just fire insurance. You thought that this was
00:13:40.780
only about salvation. Just sit back and get ready because we have a lot of work to do. And he also says,
00:13:46.880
this is going to hurt. He says, I'm going to ask you to do things that you didn't think were possible.
00:13:51.680
You're going to go through things that you think are unbearable. I'm going to ask you to give things
00:13:55.680
up that you thought that you could never give up. I'm going to ask you to talk about that sin that
00:13:59.620
you never thought was going to be out there. I'm going to tell you that you need to share that
00:14:03.620
struggle, even though it's embarrassing for you, even though it's shameful for you. And he says that
00:14:08.820
no one said that dying to yourself was going to be easy. No one said that self-crucifixion was going to
00:14:13.860
feel good. But the Jesus of the Bible, aka the only Jesus that exists, does not promise us comfort.
00:14:21.680
He does not promise us ease. He does not promise us that we are going to always feel good about
00:14:27.480
ourselves. He's not going to promise us that we are going to feel enough just because we were made
00:14:32.140
by God. What he promises us without fail is himself. He says that when I save you, that when I sanctify
00:14:40.380
you, when I lead you through this life, that is at times going to be filled with suffering,
00:14:45.440
that is at times going to be filled with sacrifice and even anguish, the one thing, the only thing
00:14:52.880
you, Allie, you, whoever is listening to this can count on is that I will not leave you. That's what
00:15:01.220
Jesus promises us. When I told you that you are mine, I meant it. I made you mine when you didn't
00:15:07.540
want to be mine. I made you mine when you didn't deserve it. You think that I'm going to give up on you
00:15:12.400
now? Jesus says to us, he promises us himself. He says, I am sufficient. You're not, but I am.
00:15:20.220
I'm your security. You might be insecure, but I'm your security. I am your shepherd. I left the flock
00:15:26.560
to go after the one lost sheep. I left the 99 to come after the one. He says, remember the father
00:15:32.040
and the story of the prodigal son. He says, that is me. When you squandered everything, when you
00:15:38.160
dishonored me, when you were at your, your lowest, your darkest points, I saw you at a far off distance
00:15:44.160
and I ran to you. I didn't turn my back on you. I didn't chastise you. I ran to you. And Jesus says,
00:15:50.400
I didn't, I didn't run because you were lovable. I ran to you because I am love. The gospel of
00:15:57.140
self-sufficiency misses this. It misses the best part of the whole glorious exchange of the gospel
00:16:05.160
that without Jesus, we're nothing, that the beauty and the miraculousness of the gospel is just how
00:16:10.600
wretched we are apart from God, how incomplete we are apart from God, who being rich in mercy decided
00:16:16.620
to save us anyway through Christ. And that Christ has given us his righteousness. He's imputed his
00:16:23.160
righteousness that against all odds, against all probabilities, all, uh, all of anything that we can
00:16:30.660
understand. He made us holy, that he has wiped our slate clean. That means that we had a slate
00:16:36.120
that needed to be wiped clean. Uh, I don't believe, I just don't believe that it is possible
00:16:44.200
to understand the gravity of the gospel without understanding just how depraved all of us are
00:16:53.180
apart from Christ. We've talked before. I think a lot of, a lot of times we think of the really bad
00:17:00.140
people as enemies of God, as dead in their sin, you know, the Hitlers of the world, they're really
00:17:06.900
bad. They are the enemies of God. And then you've got the kind of moral people in the middle who,
00:17:11.880
they're not enemies of God. They're not dead in sin. They're, they're living a good life. Sure.
00:17:15.600
They're, they don't believe that Jesus is the only way, the only truth, the only life, but
00:17:19.100
they're fine. And then we've got, you know, the really good Christians that know God really well,
00:17:24.240
but we kind of got this scale of evil to good and enemies of God. Really? Are you going to call
00:17:30.340
some good charitable people enemies of God? And the Bible says, yes. The Bible says that not one
00:17:35.320
of you is righteous without me, that you can't even think a righteous thought without me. Not
00:17:39.900
really, maybe by worldly standards, but not by mine. I think we've completely lost sight of the
00:17:45.920
absolute holiness of God. Like we don't understand what perfection is. We kind of measure him by our
00:17:52.520
standards of good. And so we assume that he measures us by our standards of good as well.
00:17:57.640
And he doesn't, he measures us by his standards of good. And because we couldn't reach that,
00:18:02.460
he sent us Christ, the only one who has been able to reach that standard. I think we've completely
00:18:08.260
lost sight of God's holiness. And because of that, we are unable to see our own unholiness.
00:18:16.820
And therefore we don't understand any justification for his wrath. And so we paint God as this live and
00:18:25.340
let live moral relativistic guy who just wants you to be happy and just wants to make sure that you
00:18:31.660
feel beautiful and that you remember that you're actually really good at your job, that you're
00:18:36.020
actually a really good mom. And that, you know, you're not so bad when you look into the mirror and
00:18:41.820
that it's okay that you've gained a few pounds, not to say that God doesn't have something to say
00:18:46.400
about those things, but we pretend like that's why he exists, that he is the engine for our self-love,
00:18:53.140
that he is the justification for our self-care, not a wrathful, holy God who has every reason,
00:18:58.880
every reason to be done with us, to cut us off forever and to let us spend eternity in the
00:19:04.620
damnation that all of us deserve. We've completely forgotten about that. And we think that he's just one
00:19:09.580
of us, that he's the power behind all of the selfish pursuits that we want. And that's not who he is.
00:19:15.160
Jesus says that, uh, when I come into your life, everything is mine. Everything. There's not one
00:19:22.560
thing that I am going to let go untouched. Not one part of your heart that I'm not going to explore.
00:19:28.720
Not one part of you that I'm not going to expose and you're not going to be able to fake it anymore.
00:19:34.040
And the thing is, is that insecurity is real. Inadequacy is real. Looking in the mirror and
00:19:41.880
feeling ugly, feeling bad about yourself is real. I have gained weight while I have been pregnant.
00:19:49.180
I don't look the same as I did before. And I look at old pictures of myself. I'm like, wow,
00:19:54.040
I really took for granted how skinny I was back then. I look really, I do not look like I've ever
00:20:00.600
looked before. And part of it is pregnancy. Part of it, let's be honest, is the waffle fries that I
00:20:04.780
eat every day. There is certainly insecurity that I have about my body. There's certainly insecurity
00:20:09.320
that I have when I step on the scale, when I put on certain clothes that should fit, even though I'm
00:20:14.420
pregnant, when I look at myself in pictures, whether it's on TV, whether it's speaking, I certainly have
00:20:19.800
insecurity. I do. But the bomb for my insecurity, the answer to my insecurity is not just that I'm
00:20:27.640
enough. It's that I have an eternal purpose that is so much bigger than this body that I have.
00:20:34.040
And yes, of course, discipline is important and managing your behavior in a healthy way and being
00:20:38.140
a good steward of your body is important. But when insecurity comes because it's inevitable for all of
00:20:43.640
us, the answer to that is that you have an eternal purpose and an eternal identity in Christ who is
00:20:50.420
enough on our behalf when we are not. It's not really that we're beautiful just because God made us
00:20:56.800
beautiful. That is a wonderful thing to think or that's a wonderful thing to know that yes, God did
00:21:02.700
form us all in our mother's womb. We are wonderfully made. Of course, we are supposed to take comfort in
00:21:08.820
that. But the belief that we are sufficient apart from our salvation in Christ is simply wrong. And it
00:21:15.340
only comforts us for so long when we forget about that. Because the truth is, the truth is that the hope
00:21:23.140
and the help for all of our very real insecurities is, is that Jesus is enough, that he has a purpose
00:21:29.860
for you that transcends the image that you see in the mirror, that is bigger than the number on the
00:21:34.460
scale, that is more important than your nine to five job. He's bigger than what you're going through.
00:21:40.320
A lot of times we think that our tragedies define us, that our struggles define us, but he's bigger than
00:21:45.540
that. He's bigger than your miscarriage. He's bigger than your broken marriage. He's bigger than your
00:21:49.960
bankruptcy. He's bigger than your breakup. He's bigger than your failing grades. He's bigger than
00:21:54.200
the death of your mom. He's bigger than your diagnosis. The answer to all of these very real,
00:22:00.560
very hard things is not you and your sufficiency. It is God's. And there's freedom in that.
00:22:09.560
A lot of people say, I've gotten this recently. Oh, you're being pharisaical. You're being legalistic.
00:22:15.640
Just let people find their way to God as if the truth of the gospel somehow can be subjectively
00:22:25.580
applied to people based on how they feel. And this comes from not a place of nitpicking,
00:22:32.420
not a place of criticism, not a place of wanting to put anyone down or to say that anyone's wrong and
00:22:37.880
I'm right, but a place of not wanting people to miss out on what the Bible tells us the gospel is,
00:22:45.500
which is this beautiful freeing reality in which we recognize our inadequacy. And instead of convincing
00:22:53.300
ourselves that we're enough, we depend on and count on Jesus's adequacy. And I don't want people to miss
00:23:02.320
out on the freedom of self-forgetfulness, the freedom that comes along with realizing how
00:23:08.280
depraved you are, how unholy you are, how unable you are to muster any strength, any goodness, any
00:23:15.420
true morality whatsoever, how unable you are to save yourself, to sanctify yourself and rely fully on
00:23:22.900
Christ and allow him to do the work that he wants to do in your life. I don't want people to miss out
00:23:28.160
on that. That is the beauty of Christ. A lot of people are going to call you a Pharisee for caring
00:23:35.200
about good theology. A lot of people are going to call you legalistic for saying, okay, the self-love
00:23:41.720
stuff isn't cutting it. Okay, here's what the Bible says about this thing. I know you want to feel that
00:23:47.760
way, XYZ person, but here's what the Bible says. Of course, there's a way to do it with grace and with
00:23:53.280
truth and with love, of course. But being silent about these things isn't an option. People call
00:24:00.840
you a Pharisee because they don't want to hear what you have to say, because they don't want to hear
00:24:04.400
what the Bible has to say, as if believing in the Bible and speaking biblical truth is somehow
00:24:10.280
Pharisaical. The problem with the Pharisees is that they didn't have any faith in their hearts.
00:24:15.140
They were whitewashed tombs. They looked good on the outside. They didn't have anything on the inside.
00:24:19.000
Of course, if that's any of us, we need to examine that and we need to repent from that
00:24:23.020
and we need to ask God to save our wretched souls, of course. But if you have a conviction of what the
00:24:28.740
Bible says and you want to speak biblical truth and you care about good theology, do not let anyone
00:24:33.640
bully you into being silent by calling you a Pharisee. They don't want to hear it. Of course not,
00:24:39.520
because it is so much more comforting and it is so much easier. It is so much more culturally
00:24:44.900
convenient to say, God is fine with however you are. He just wants you to remember that you're
00:24:51.080
enough. That is so insanely unbiblical. It is so untrue. It is so counter to the gospel and the people
00:24:59.100
who believe that are missing out. They are missing out on the truth that Jesus offers us. But in today's
00:25:06.660
day and age, when we are placed in the center of our own universes, when we are told that we are the
00:25:11.300
only prism through which any kind of truth should travel and we decide how we want to apply it to
00:25:16.560
our own personal lives and however other people want to decide it is fine too, it's very hard to
00:25:21.880
push back against that and say, no, there's actually an absolute truth. And the absolute truth isn't
00:25:26.380
found in me. It's not found in you. It is found in God's word. The only tool that we are given for
00:25:33.500
knowing any kind of objective truth. And of course, we look at the natural world for scientific truth,
00:25:39.000
but nothing is ever going to contradict God's word. You also hear a lot of people saying, well,
00:25:44.560
the justification for my theology is the Holy Spirit. Well, the Holy Spirit is never going to
00:25:51.320
go against what God's word says. The Holy Spirit is God. So it's not going to change based on culture.
00:25:57.440
I remember in college having conversations both where I said this and where other people said this,
00:26:02.480
I feel okay with doing what I'm doing right now, whether it was like a stupid relationship,
00:26:07.120
hooking up with a guy, drinking too much, whatever it was. I feel okay about doing this because I
00:26:11.120
don't feel any conviction. And I think that if this was wrong, God would probably convict me that this
00:26:16.540
was wrong. Not so much, not so much. It's very easy to get hard into our own sin and hard into our own
00:26:23.740
bad theology by, by kind of putting the blame on God and saying, we've got no responsibility for our
00:26:29.360
actions. And of course you get numb to the, to the bad things that you believe in the bad things that
00:26:33.860
you do, the longer that you do them. Uh, the Holy Spirit is never going to contradict the Bible.
00:26:40.400
It is always going to be a messenger and a convictor, uh, of, uh, not of God's word, but, uh,
00:26:47.560
it's going to use God's word to, to convict us and to tell us what is true and to remind us of the
00:26:54.480
truth and the power of the gospel. So again, the comfort for all of the things that you are going
00:27:00.660
through for the struggles that you have is not that you are enough. It's not that you're enough
00:27:05.820
because God made you. It's because it's that you are inadequate. You are insufficient. You are not
00:27:11.560
enough. And yet Jesus is. So that's the message that I have for you today. I hope that you guys
00:27:17.880
enjoyed it. I hope that you have a wonderful Wednesday, a wonderful rest of your week.
00:27:23.660
Please give me any feedback that you would like. Please feel free to write me a review. Um, and if
00:27:31.180
you have any questions, if you have any questions, since I'm probably going to be answering questions
00:27:36.460
this Friday or next Friday, please feel free to email me, Allie at the conservative millennial blog.com.
00:27:41.720
You can message me on Instagram. I love that. I just can't get to all of the messages. So it's a
00:27:46.420
little bit difficult sometimes. Um, so email me, Allie at the conservative millennial blog.com. And I
00:27:51.340
will try my best to answer them. If you keep them like just a few sentences, then that helps me. It
00:27:57.580
helps me understand what is being asked and what is being said. And if you have, um, any criticism
00:28:03.860
or anything like that, obviously feel free to reach out to me about that as well. And we will be having
00:28:10.500
a fun conversation on Friday. And I hope you guys are looking forward to that. And thank you so much
00:28:16.460
for listening. I will see you in a couple of days.
