Summary

A common theme I saw living and working with Ye for five weeks in Spain was betrayal. A concept that I m all too familiar with. The most recent example, although funny and easy to talk about with Elon Musk and Trump, sets a bad precedent. Which is why I think Ye, who s seen so much betrayal, is the only one trying to bring them back together.

00:00:00.000 I married the best rapper of all time.
00:00:23.660 Not only that, he's the richest black man in America.
00:00:26.760 A talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids.
00:00:35.240 A common theme I saw living and working with Ye for five weeks in Spain was betrayal.
00:00:40.200 A concept that I'm all too familiar with.
00:00:42.400 The most recent example, although funny and easy to talk about with Elon Musk and Trump, sets a bad precedent.
00:00:48.400 Which is why I think Ye, who's seen so much betrayal, is the only one trying to bring them back together.
00:00:53.480 In the span of 24 hours, a man can sit side by side with the president and then choose to snake him for publicity.
00:01:00.620 The narrative is that Elon Musk disagrees with one of Trump's bills, which is going to negatively affect the economy.
00:01:05.460 But I don't think anyone believes that.
00:01:07.820 Because if Elon Musk was legitimately concerned that Trump is implicated in the Epstein files,
00:01:12.400 then why would you bring your children around a man who's supposedly going on a sex trafficking island with Epstein?
00:01:18.200 If you cared so much about the possibility of Trump on Epstein Island, you would never work with that person in the first place.
00:01:25.220 I hope they're able to put things aside and squash it like Trump was able to with everyone in the White House who was once completely against him.
00:01:31.820 And it's not because I'm extremely ecstatic about their political relationship.
00:01:35.340 If they don't squash it, it reveals something truly sinister about the modern human relationship.
00:01:40.140 Even at the level of fame and political influence that those two have, you can still foster negative thoughts about somebody that's supposed to be your friend.
00:01:48.860 Before this Epstein dilemma and seeing it firsthand with Ye, I thought this modern problem was exclusive to streamers and celebrities.
00:01:56.680 Quasi-famous people and content creators snake each other all the time because nothing is more interesting to the viewer than beef.
00:02:03.720 Influencers that have met my family have tried to expose me because drama is that interesting to the audience.
00:02:09.740 Then I saw a man like Pusha T, who featured on the song Tattooed on My Arm by Ye, a man whose solo career was single-handedly created by Ye.
00:02:18.500 Pusha T goes on an interview to promote his album and says that he never saw Ye as a real man because he's too weak.
00:02:25.460 What that means is Ye was revealing information of Pusha T that was vulnerable.
00:02:29.580 He saw him as a friend who he could confide in.
00:02:31.900 Instead of returning the favor, he downloaded that information as malware.
00:02:35.580 Maybe Pusha T is trying to hold on to this hyper-masculine idea of a drug dealer who never has to process pain.
00:02:43.300 Maybe Elon Musk is pretending to care about Epstein so that he can gain some of Trump's audience.
00:02:48.000 It doesn't matter.
00:02:48.940 What matters is how profitable social media has made betrayal become.
00:02:53.260 What I've learned being in this gang for 12 years is there's nothing more important than fostering positive relationships.
00:02:58.600 People can go up and down through periods of good and bad for years and years and years.
00:03:03.700 But if you have the right relationships just like that, you're right back at the top.
00:03:07.520 Since I've been back, people come up to me and ask me, how did you make it this far?
00:03:10.920 And I tell them the obvious things like working hard and consistency.
00:03:14.100 But what I wish I could tell people and make them understand is how important it is to have people that you know are going to be in your corner no matter what.
00:03:20.820 My advice is never look too long at the alluring temptation of betrayal.
00:03:25.020 Welcome to the sci-fi.
00:03:29.140 Make a choice, oxygen and Wi-Fi.
