00:00:00.000 So we are in a very precarious position in this country.
00:00:03.740 We need a political change, but we also need the resolve to resist.
00:00:08.720 Hey, thanks for watching our live stream.
00:00:11.680 I'm the host, David Craig.
00:00:13.280 In the meantime, have a look at some of these clips
00:00:15.360 and take the opportunity, please, to like this broadcast,
00:00:19.460 ring the bell, or subscribe.
00:00:22.680 And we're stepping up in every way we can
00:00:25.540 because we know that Russia must win this war.
00:00:28.700 It's a story that Ukraine must win this war.
00:00:31.820 But freedom is something you earn every day.
00:00:35.440 I don't know that the government currently has fiscal anchors.
00:00:40.260 Your home is your castle.
00:00:43.620 We're calling on the government to introduce and immediately pass
00:00:46.460 the Stand on Guard Law.
00:00:50.700 But we also need to resolve to resist.
00:00:58.700 When we come back, we're going to be talking about Daniel Smith's
00:01:09.160 very, very challenging words to the rest of Canada.
00:01:13.080 An update on the ostrich farm crisis, and that's exactly what it is.
00:01:17.480 But Miracle Friday happened again.
00:01:20.760 And we'll have lots more to talk about when we come back.
00:01:26.880 The Prime Minister lied and his minions continue to...
00:01:31.220 Your home is your castle.
00:01:34.420 We're calling on the government to introduce and immediately pass
00:01:37.240 the Stand on Guard Law.
00:01:40.000 But we also need to resolve to resist.
00:01:51.680 We'll do it live.
00:01:54.960 We'll do it live!
00:01:56.280 I'll write it and we'll do it live!
00:01:58.320 Thanks for joining me today.
00:02:13.940 It's David Creighton here.
00:02:14.940 I want to start off, before we get into the ostrich farm politics,
00:02:17.840 and that's really what it's become,
00:02:20.340 I think we need a political solution to this.
00:02:22.780 And I think a solution could come when Mark Carney,
00:02:25.440 our dear Prime Minister, sits down with President Donald Trump
00:02:30.120 next week at the White House.
00:02:33.200 I think Robert F. Kennedy and others
00:02:36.520 have put the bug in Mr. Trump's ear
00:02:39.360 about the ostrich farm in Edgewood, B.C.,
00:02:42.760 about the injustice, about how the CFIA is out of control,
00:02:46.500 off the rails, how the RCMP is off the rails,
00:02:49.380 how the Carney government is off the rails.
00:02:51.120 And I do believe we're going to see some movement from Mark Carney
00:02:55.400 when Donald Trump says the magic words.
00:02:58.720 Do it!
00:03:00.600 Those are the magic words.
00:03:02.200 And I think Mark Carney's going to suddenly say,
00:03:04.400 we've had a change of heart and a change of mind.
00:03:06.520 There's no good reason to kill these birds
00:03:08.420 because they're clearly healthy.
00:03:10.280 They've been free from any supposed avian flu for months,
00:03:14.500 360 days now, I believe.
00:03:16.520 No, sorry, 260 days now, as Katie is so fond of telling us,
00:03:22.880 every day these birds are healthy.
00:03:25.040 But before we get there, I was talking to Jeffrey Rath this week,
00:03:29.820 who, of course, is the legal counsel
00:03:31.400 for the Alberta Prosperity Project.
00:03:33.560 And he said, things are moving on the Alberta independence front,
00:03:38.120 and we've got to get on the show to talk about it.
00:03:41.140 I'm going to see if I can do that with Jeff
00:03:43.760 on the next couple of days.
00:03:46.460 But here's Daniel Smith sounding very, very independent.
00:03:51.180 Obviously, there's going to be a little bit of pushback here.
00:03:53.740 We already have the premier to the west of us
00:03:55.320 calling this not realistic, essentially a distraction.
00:03:58.860 So how do you plan to deal with some of the opponents
00:04:01.980 to this project, whether it's the premier next door,
00:04:04.520 whether it's some of these Indigenous groups,
00:04:06.080 whether it's just activists who don't want a pipeline?
00:04:08.920 So I will continue, as I said, to build the coalition of partners
00:04:14.560 who are going to be on board with this.
00:04:15.900 But this is a Canada project.
00:04:17.820 And this is a test of whether Canada works as a country.
00:04:22.740 Because if we can't build with the collaboration
00:04:25.560 of the federal government and between provinces,
00:04:28.500 if it's everybody gets to get their products going to market
00:04:31.000 except Alberta, that's not a country.
00:04:32.920 A country is one where we support each other.
00:04:34.560 Is that a veiled threat?
00:04:40.960 Well, it's talking tough.
00:04:42.660 And that's what Premier Daniel Smith does very well.
00:04:45.860 She's talking tough because she needs to talk tough.
00:04:48.040 There's increasing support for independence in Alberta,
00:04:52.260 and especially amongst the people who vote
00:04:54.360 for the United Conservative Party,
00:04:56.340 which, of course, is Daniel Smith's party.
00:04:58.740 So she has no choice but to talk tough.
00:05:01.300 And somehow it's a balancing act between remaining a federalist
00:05:05.380 and appealing to an increasing segment of Alberta
00:05:09.560 that favors independence.
00:05:13.100 When we have Jeff on, we're going to look at the most recent polls.
00:05:16.200 But it's easily hovering around 50%, I would say.
00:05:21.660 And I think it's strong support.
00:05:26.460 It's not soft.
00:05:28.560 It's very strong support.
00:05:29.720 So there's where we are.
00:05:32.220 Now let's get back to the subject of ostriches.
00:05:34.740 And, of course, we had good news yesterday.
00:05:38.880 And Katie Passat and they, you know,
00:05:42.180 informed us all late in the day the Supreme Court
00:05:44.520 had not gotten in touch with them.
00:05:47.120 We were all expecting late Friday
00:05:48.980 that there would be a word from the Supreme Court
00:05:52.040 because, you know, governments and judiciaries,
00:05:54.620 they love to wait till late Friday afternoon
00:05:57.720 when they think all the journalists are in the bar
00:06:00.360 or gone home for the weekend,
00:06:01.980 which, of course, is nonsense these days.
00:06:03.940 We have a 24-7 news cycle.
00:06:06.720 But I want you to pay careful notice
00:06:09.200 to the Supreme Court order from the 24th of September.
00:06:13.560 I know I can't read it either.
00:06:15.820 But here, I'm going to share the screen here
00:06:18.720 and show you, show you exactly what we have.
00:06:26.980 Here we are.
00:06:28.620 All right.
00:06:29.160 This is the order here.
00:06:31.880 And I want you to pay careful attention.
00:06:34.180 The respondent shall serve and file
00:06:42.860 any response to the application.
00:06:44.820 Aha.
00:06:45.180 Here's the key paragraph.
00:06:47.680 The respondent shall maintain custody of the bird.
00:06:49.940 The respondent is the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
00:06:52.720 The respondent, CFIA,
00:06:56.780 shall maintain custody of the birds
00:06:59.380 that are subject to the notice to dispose,
00:07:02.480 and the applicant shall not interfere
00:07:04.340 with the respondent's custody of the birds
00:07:06.220 pending the decision on this motion
00:07:08.200 and the application for leave to appeal.
00:07:11.860 Okay.
00:07:13.100 What does that mean?
00:07:15.180 Custody means you look after,
00:07:17.000 you care for the birds,
00:07:18.060 not exercise cruelty.
00:07:19.880 You exercise care and concern.
00:07:23.340 That's what custody means.
00:07:25.140 That's not what the CFIA is doing.
00:07:27.320 They're allowing the birds to suffer.
00:07:29.540 And I'll show you a video in a minute
00:07:30.860 that proves that.
00:07:33.620 So that's what's going on.
00:07:36.480 But here, this is the key paragraph.
00:07:39.260 I believe the CFIA is in violation of its custody
00:07:43.060 because it's not looking after
00:07:45.380 or caring for the birds.
00:07:46.640 Clearly, you can see that.
00:07:48.280 You can see that from the videos.
00:07:51.860 And by the way,
00:07:52.740 if you didn't watch my interview yesterday with Katie,
00:07:56.300 share it with your friends and family.
00:07:57.780 It was big time suppressed yesterday.
00:08:01.200 And my sub stack,
00:08:02.560 I encourage you to read that.
00:08:11.020 Let's watch this.
00:08:12.320 This is just absolutely heartbreaking.
00:08:15.280 Thank you.
00:08:16.280 Thank you.
00:08:17.280 Thank you.
00:08:18.280 Thank you.
00:08:45.280 Thank you.
00:09:15.280 I'll be going back to that in a second here.
00:09:30.740 Sorry, I'll be going back to that in a second here.
00:09:42.380 I didn't realize I have to share the screen separately for that.
00:09:45.680 But we'll be right back to that.
00:09:47.760 And this is absolutely, absolutely heartbreaking.
00:09:51.740 Thank you.
00:10:00.740 Can we have somebody?
00:10:06.320 Can I film or is she?
00:10:07.420 Yeah.
00:10:08.060 No.
00:10:08.800 No, you can film.
00:10:09.700 Just let her kind of speak your piece.
00:10:11.740 You bet.
00:10:12.080 Hi.
00:10:19.460 You know, we put the signs of today to show us a picture of our hands, right?
00:10:26.320 They're not tubing her.
00:10:27.660 She's just doing the kick of death.
00:10:29.840 They're not tubing her.
00:10:30.880 They haven't taken care of her.
00:10:32.340 If we would have just been allowed to care for her, she'd be okay.
00:10:43.020 She's dying alone.
00:10:44.460 She's dying alone.
00:10:45.540 We got the footage, guys.
00:10:46.980 It's gross.
00:10:48.120 She's dying alone.
00:10:50.240 We would have never done that.
00:10:51.740 Our birds don't die alone.
00:10:53.640 They are loved by us.
00:10:55.880 They're cared.
00:10:56.840 She's alone laying there, dying right there.
00:10:59.800 We can't touch her.
00:11:01.760 We can't be with her.
00:11:03.620 They're not with her.
00:11:04.880 They know she's dying because we did those things.
00:11:08.600 She's dying alone.
00:11:11.040 This is the most painful thing.
00:11:13.340 They're right there.
00:11:14.400 They're right there.
00:11:15.860 We're not aggressive.
00:11:17.740 We're not hurting anybody.
00:11:19.200 We just want to give her love.
00:11:21.400 They've been loved for 35 years by us.
00:11:24.760 We would have never let them die alone.
00:11:27.480 She's dying by herself.
00:11:29.800 Because we are being punished by lying by this tape.
00:11:34.520 We're being punished.
00:11:36.320 We're just, it's not fair.
00:11:38.920 She's dying for being healthy.
00:11:41.600 She's dying because we spoke up.
00:11:43.440 She's dying because of trade politics.
00:11:45.840 She's talking alone.
00:11:47.660 And we would have never known if we didn't just get a visual.
00:11:50.380 Because they're lying and they're hiding.
00:11:52.320 They're hiding behind this.
00:11:54.040 And we're having to force them to be honest.
00:11:56.260 And that's not right.
00:11:57.260 This organization is hiding behind your power.
00:12:01.720 This organization is hiding behind your power.
00:12:06.540 You've got to stop it.
00:12:08.820 This is cruelty.
00:12:10.600 This is animal cruelty.
00:12:13.400 Please, please stop them.
00:12:15.480 Please stop them.
00:12:17.200 I'm going to hold the gun for you.
00:12:18.140 Please stop them.
00:12:20.520 Please let us just be with her.
00:12:23.080 Let us just be with her.
00:12:25.260 I think it's beyond treatment now.
00:12:29.860 These are our family.
00:12:31.400 They told us yesterday she was moving around and she was backing and getting up.
00:12:38.080 And like, and it took us going public and saying that and calling them out today for them.
00:12:44.920 These are everything we've ever loved.
00:12:47.060 She's dying alone, kicking her head back.
00:12:50.220 She's, God, please take her.
00:12:54.620 Please.
00:12:55.700 Oh, God, please.
00:12:57.480 Stop this.
00:12:58.000 This is so unfair.
00:13:01.400 This is animal cruelty.
00:13:02.600 They're hiding.
00:13:03.740 Yes, Canadian food inspection.
00:13:06.200 You hide behind your yellow tape.
00:13:08.560 So, guys, what's going on here is we have complete video footage and camera footage of the bird and the condition that it's in.
00:13:18.720 We know exactly what's going on behind those lines.
00:13:21.900 And Canada should know, too.
00:13:29.200 It's not right.
00:13:31.400 No, it's not right.
00:13:32.100 And it's painful to watch that.
00:13:34.240 I showed that.
00:13:37.060 I showed as much of that as I really could.
00:13:39.440 It's painful to see Katie in this emotional breakdown.
00:13:43.580 But what else can you expect?
00:13:45.740 I'm so low.
00:13:46.620 I'm so low.
00:13:47.620 I'm so low.
00:13:48.160 I'm so low.
00:13:48.660 I'm so low.
00:13:49.200 I'm so low.
00:13:49.240 I'm so low.
00:13:49.740 I'm so low.
00:13:51.540 They're putting our birds through fences.
00:13:53.280 You want to talk humane?
00:13:54.900 Here's our here's our girl.
00:13:57.020 She just went through a fence, got stuck.
00:13:59.680 She don't know if she can get up.
00:14:01.940 They're causing these animals to kill themselves.
00:14:04.900 They're going through fences.
00:14:05.980 They're hitting fence posts because their drones are flying solo.
00:14:10.660 Do you see this?
00:14:11.400 This is life.
00:14:12.120 This is this is humane.
00:14:14.380 These are healthy animals that are suffering.
00:14:16.620 And this this is what's going on at the farm.
00:14:23.800 I want to show one more clip here.
00:14:27.240 And because if the eyes of the world are watching.
00:14:32.420 Because.
00:14:34.160 This is being.
00:14:37.020 Broadcast around the world because of independent media and because of media like Rebel News that's on the scene here.
00:14:44.060 I want to take my hat off again to Rebel News for being there.
00:14:51.440 Drea Humphrey has done an excellent job of reporting this story.
00:14:55.680 As is Viva Frye.
00:14:57.640 I think I have, too, but I'm not here to blow my own horn today.
00:15:01.480 But here's Katie talking.
00:15:03.700 You're starting.
00:15:05.700 Here's Katie talking to an old friend.
00:15:08.020 Ezra Levant, publisher of Rebel News, who arrived at the farm yesterday afternoon in anticipation of some bad news.
00:15:16.460 We all were expecting the Supreme Court to say.
00:15:20.240 We've decided we're not going to hear the case.
00:15:22.100 I was.
00:15:22.540 That was my gut feeling.
00:15:24.240 I think we've got time.
00:15:26.120 I think we've got time now to turn this around, if not judicially.
00:15:29.840 And I think that's still possible politically.
00:15:32.300 Let's listen to a bit of this conversation.
00:15:34.220 You're starting to see after the week that this has been in progress.
00:15:38.900 There's something wrong here.
00:15:41.120 Oh, I heard your statement.
00:15:43.100 I know.
00:15:43.480 And I believe that, too, which is so wrong.
00:15:45.780 This is wrong.
00:15:46.820 What RCMP stands here is to protect the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
00:15:50.560 And they made it very clear with you, didn't they?
00:15:52.700 Yeah, they are sort of the bodyguards for the CFIA.
00:15:55.560 They're not here for the people.
00:15:58.120 And I asked them about mischief done by the CFIA.
00:16:02.040 They basically said, not our job.
00:16:04.500 Yeah, it's not funny how we pass jurisdiction.
00:16:06.580 We just keep passing off.
00:16:08.220 Yeah, nobody's above the CFIA.
00:16:10.440 Nobody, or, you know, the CFIA is untouchable.
00:16:12.880 And there's a problem here in Canada.
00:16:14.400 The size of this operation.
00:16:16.840 And that's why we asked the question today, folks.
00:16:20.500 Is the CFIA above the law?
00:16:22.500 Are they making up the law as they go along?
00:16:24.360 Does the law apply to the CFIA?
00:16:27.420 They wouldn't say how many police are here.
00:16:30.480 One cop said 30 minimum.
00:16:33.020 It's more than that.
00:16:33.800 I can see 30 in effect right now.
00:16:35.980 Yeah, not the command center.
00:16:37.780 And then there's the staging area.
00:16:39.720 This is an enormous operation that is clearly in the millions of dollars.
00:16:44.480 Think about the overtime pay, let alone the hotels, the meals, the pre-beams.
00:16:47.860 This LOA, that hour and a half from the city that they're traveling.
00:16:50.600 And then now, how many RCMP are sitting in Vernon right now for these shift changes?
00:16:55.220 Then the fuel and the barricades and the military operation of the jammer, the drone jammers and the...
00:17:01.020 Is that what those were, those strange devices?
00:17:02.800 Yeah, back there.
00:17:03.660 And then there's some underneath, camouflage netting that they're hiding.
00:17:07.580 Yeah.
00:17:07.840 Big telescopic devices.
00:17:09.400 They have ladders going in and out of the kill box.
00:17:11.680 None of that has anything to do with public health.
00:17:13.700 All of that has everything to do with public policy and politics and optics.
00:17:18.320 Those bales of hay has got nothing to do with medical.
00:17:20.660 It's all about...
00:17:21.660 And those hazmat suits are theatrical.
00:17:24.080 Theatrical optics.
00:17:25.300 Health theater.
00:17:26.140 And that's why it's a flashback for COVID times.
00:17:28.800 Yeah.
00:17:29.460 Arbitrary, dramatic, scare everybody.
00:17:32.220 Yeah.
00:17:32.460 But underneath it, no science.
00:17:33.920 Very frustrating.
00:17:34.620 And we're watching punishment.
00:17:36.640 This is punishment.
00:17:37.480 The process is punishment.
00:17:38.320 And this is punishment.
00:17:40.240 This isn't justice.
00:17:41.480 And I think that's what I said to the ostriches that become beacons of hope.
00:17:44.020 And a lot of Canadians and people around the world after COVID can see themselves in these animals.
00:17:49.260 Quarantined.
00:17:49.920 I was in Texas two days ago.
00:17:51.260 They said, what's up with those ostriches?
00:17:52.820 Yeah.
00:17:53.120 Even in America, they're saying, what's going on up there?
00:17:55.380 What's going on with those ostriches?
00:17:56.260 And not in a good way.
00:17:57.140 Why won't they test them?
00:17:58.220 This is not a good look for Canada.
00:18:00.740 I said to John Katzmedevis out of New York.
00:18:02.760 We were on the radio yesterday and said, if this is allowed in Canada and this actually happened,
00:18:07.320 this is a warning for the rest of the world.
00:18:09.720 Well, it's ostriches today.
00:18:11.520 It's your pet tomorrow.
00:18:12.480 Absolutely.
00:18:13.160 And they're doing pets already with the co-
00:18:14.880 You know, 2007.
00:18:16.180 We just talked to a farmer.
00:18:18.300 Your pet tomorrow?
00:18:19.540 How about you tomorrow?
00:18:20.860 Because if you're among the un-vaxxed, remember how you were treated during the last pandemic?
00:18:27.700 A third-class citizen.
00:18:29.700 And some people were saying, deny you healthcare because you didn't get your vaccine.
00:18:34.300 How stupid is that?
00:18:36.200 As much as we know about the vax now, those were the smart people.
00:18:41.200 They killed everything.
00:18:41.900 They killed their dogs.
00:18:42.580 They killed their cats.
00:18:43.240 They killed everything.
00:18:44.180 And that's in 2007 because the Stamping of the Palsy has been in effect for 21 years.
00:18:47.920 They've been left unchecked for 21 years operating in this manner.
00:18:52.600 And where does the Stamping of the Palsy come from?
00:18:55.880 The World Health Organization.
00:18:57.400 And the mainstream media readily admits this now.
00:18:59.480 And we need to see the dismantle of Canadian Food Inspection Agency and rebuild from the ground up
00:19:03.440 with an organization that Canadians can trust.
00:19:05.860 You know, outside Niagara Falls, there's something called Marine Land.
00:19:09.940 There's all these belugas.
00:19:11.820 And there was an aquarium that wanted to buy them, but the Canadian government said, no.
00:19:16.760 They're basically going to be called also.
00:19:19.100 I don't understand what's going on.
00:19:21.080 Why are we so willing?
00:19:22.560 Why are we so excited to kill them?
00:19:24.600 Yeah.
00:19:24.840 And this is, again, we need a proactive government, not a reactive government.
00:19:28.580 And this is reactive.
00:19:29.920 And I think we need a proactive approach to how we address these problems.
00:19:33.500 And we need true leadership to push that.
00:19:35.740 Now, do you feel like you have any allies, either legally or politically?
00:19:40.500 Yeah, the Trump administration.
00:19:42.280 Isn't that interesting?
00:19:43.720 We've gotten way more support internationally than we have within our own government.
00:19:47.180 It's taken 10 months to have our conservative government really come to the forefront
00:19:50.960 and have Rustag speak on this.
00:19:53.420 We had Mel Arnold.
00:19:54.920 I want to give a shout out.
00:19:55.880 I don't want to discredit Scott Anderson, our MP.
00:19:58.360 He's done an incredible job, really trying, but he's limited to his abilities, right?
00:20:02.620 We have had our MLAs, the independents, Dallas Brody, Tara Armstrong, and Jordan Keeley
00:20:07.880 step up first and bring this into the legislature, which was absolutely fantastic and use their
00:20:12.200 question.
00:20:13.200 But again, you know, the independents get one question every three weeks.
00:20:17.760 You know, why are they limited?
00:20:19.000 And again, this just goes to show the hierarchy within the government levels.
00:20:22.180 And we're protecting the Canadian Poultry Association.
00:20:25.720 So the Canadian Poultry Association is so protected because of supply chain management
00:20:31.500 that they are holding the master key to this.
00:20:36.440 And that is wrong.
00:20:37.540 We need to dismantle that as well.
00:20:39.760 And all levels of the same agricultural sector deserve the same amount of protection, not one area.
00:20:45.980 And that goes with our cattle farmers, our dairy farmers, and all of our fresh farm,
00:20:50.100 fresh produce farmers, and our backyard farms.
00:20:53.880 It's, you know, we're all up for culling.
00:20:56.240 Last question.
00:20:57.700 Thanks very much for talking with me.
00:20:59.720 I heard earlier that the CBC was doing coverage that you found was unethical.
00:21:04.300 Are there any allies you have other than citizen journalists and independent media?
00:21:08.940 Have you had any media in the mainstream or even over in other countries that you feel
00:21:14.400 have championed your cause?
00:21:16.020 Absolutely.
00:21:16.720 New York Post, Washington Post.
00:21:18.720 Oh, really?
00:21:18.980 We've had John Katz and Madidis in the WABC radio station.
00:21:23.740 And everybody goes, they're so puzzled on how did you get connected with John Katz and Madidis
00:21:28.300 and how did this happen?
00:21:29.840 And it's because he's a huge animal welfare advocate.
00:21:33.500 And we developed that relationship through his booker.
00:21:36.260 I was only on his radio station for a few minutes.
00:21:38.500 Then that few minutes was another few minutes.
00:21:40.040 That led into our relationship because we believe that these animals deserve the right to be tested.
00:21:44.920 And he has an amazing, strong voice.
00:21:46.800 But I would believe that it's the Trump administration.
00:21:49.960 We have no, where is PETA?
00:21:52.020 Where are these animal activists?
00:21:54.720 Because right now I'd like to say that probably at this farm, we are the largest animal advocates
00:22:00.240 in Canada because we're using our voices to stand up for the animals that are being abused behind us.
00:22:08.280 The three media you listed are all American.
00:22:11.100 Has there been any mainstream support from Canadian media?
00:22:13.820 Yeah, so we've got coverage from CBC, CTV and Global News.
00:22:17.540 But has it been fair?
00:22:18.440 I want to give a shout out to Global News.
00:22:20.780 Global News has done a very fair description of what's going on here.
00:22:26.120 CTV, shame on you.
00:22:27.360 CTV will not.
00:22:29.380 They will only get public statements from me at this point.
00:22:31.820 And that is from our farm because they went on to create the division, the oldest tool in the toolbox.
00:22:37.300 So while we're fighting for such an amazing cause for Canadians, they were creating division with a group of 26 people from our local town
00:22:45.780 and letting them film them and show that they're making statements like they're living near Chernobyl
00:22:50.700 and living that, you know, that they're in fear for their fear.
00:22:55.140 We have been, you drive down 10 miles into Edgewood.
00:22:58.400 It is peaceful.
00:22:59.400 It is kind.
00:23:00.200 We've done nothing but support the general store and be supportive over locals.
00:23:04.480 Yes, there's been an Edgewood hate group that is not being discussed.
00:23:09.840 The Edgewood hate group has put out there that they were going to burn us out.
00:23:13.960 They have a sniper.
00:23:15.340 There's a sniper group.
00:23:17.280 And they call themselves the hate group, right?
00:23:19.400 They call themselves the hate group.
00:23:21.940 And the RCMP that's down behind us will not investigate this.
00:23:25.680 We've reported them and it's just grown into something so crazy.
00:23:29.760 I've had death threats, threats that I'm going to be ran off the road, that I'm never going to be seen again.
00:23:35.020 And for what?
00:23:35.780 Shot ostriches.
00:23:36.740 Shot ostriches, right?
00:23:38.100 We've had two ostriches that have been shot with no true, what do you call it?
00:23:45.220 No, no, investigation.
00:23:47.660 So we still have the head of the rooster, as they asked us, frozen in the freezer on the quarantine site
00:23:54.880 with a hole and the slit throat with an exit hole.
00:23:57.640 And that head is still sitting there.
00:23:59.080 They never looked for casings.
00:24:00.220 They never followed up.
00:24:01.300 So it's okay.
00:24:02.400 There are so many levels of this that isn't okay.
00:24:04.940 But it's okay to have this happening and not follow up.
00:24:10.260 But it's a lot.
00:24:12.600 Look at people.
00:24:13.520 I mean, I'm talking to people from all over the country here.
00:24:19.120 Yeah, I played a lot of that because Katie is an incredibly articulate spokeswoman for that farm.
00:24:27.560 She not only knows and understands public relations, and I don't think that's her background.
00:24:32.320 Her background is agriculture, but she has a natural instinct for it.
00:24:35.620 And she also understands the science.
00:24:37.520 So she can talk about the science.
00:24:39.340 She can talk about what this really means and why the CFI is not following the science.
00:24:44.060 She does that as well as any veterinarian.
00:24:47.000 I've heard any so-called expert that the CBC puts on their show with supposedly no axe to grind.
00:24:53.900 You remember that one?
00:24:54.780 Yeah.
00:24:55.060 Dr. Rasmussen, the one who calls herself a vaccine cheerleader and is claiming that David Fryheit, Aviva Frye, is helping the United States descend into right-wing tyranny.
00:25:09.180 No political axe to grind there, folks.
00:25:11.380 But Katie has adeptly handled all of these media from around the world as well as being a spokeswoman for the science.
00:25:19.820 And I think she's done an excellent job.
00:25:22.920 Once again, shout out to Ezra Levant and Rebel News for being there, I think, pretty well from the beginning as I was.
00:25:31.400 I interviewed Katie for the first time in May.
00:25:33.940 We have talked sometimes daily.
00:25:38.400 She's been on the show about a dozen times now because I really believe in this.
00:25:42.660 And, okay, I wanted to show you my Substack article.
00:25:49.460 And, of course, there it is there.
00:25:52.420 But I'm going to try to read a couple of lines for you because I think it's worth reading.
00:26:00.680 And, sorry.
00:26:04.300 Here we go.
00:26:05.160 We made it.
00:26:10.960 Healthy Oscars is still alive in Canada.
00:26:13.000 Now, it's very important to note that yesterday ended on a good note because the Supreme Court did not rule.
00:26:19.800 And I'm maintaining if we can keep this going until President Donald Trump sits down with Prime Minister Mark Carney next week in Washington,
00:26:31.000 I think there will be a political solution.
00:26:32.860 And we might not have to have a Supreme Court ruling on this because the government could do the right thing.
00:26:39.300 The government could just say, hey, we've been wrong.
00:26:42.240 And Mark Carney can make that decision within five minutes.
00:26:46.260 And he's going to tell the Ag Minister to change the policy and the Ag Minister will change the CFIA's mind.
00:26:53.480 And it'll all be over.
00:26:54.160 But, you know, we start this by saying it looks like we made it for another weekend at least until sanity settles down into the head of the federal government that remains fixated on the killing of 399 healthy ostriches.
00:27:11.340 Now, as far as we know, there's still 399.
00:27:13.300 As the clock wound down today, an announcement from the farm proclaimed, we made it today, calling it another Miracle Friday.
00:27:22.120 And, of course, I got the word from Katie as soon as they knew they were pretty well safe for the day.
00:27:27.180 Earlier in the day, Rebel News' Drea Humphrey reported, there's apparently a SWAT team up the road.
00:27:35.580 I hope that doesn't mean they've gotten bad news.
00:27:38.320 Wondering if, quote, if the police were preparing to aid the CFIA in the call, unquote.
00:27:44.660 This is what we're going.
00:27:46.040 And Dacey Media, you know, Chris Dacey from Ottawa here, he's on the scene.
00:27:49.820 And he's still there this weekend doing some good work.
00:27:54.960 But they couldn't do any of this without Katie.
00:27:57.300 She has done an outstanding job.
00:28:01.000 Also, earlier in the day, Katie pleaded with the CFIA to be allowed to treat one of their ostriches that was driven over a fence with a government drone.
00:28:13.720 She was ignored.
00:28:14.420 The RCMP would not even allow the farmer to talk to the CFIA about the bird that is in pain and showing massive signs of dehydration.
00:28:23.320 The CFIA that have custody of the ostriches are also not treating the ostriches.
00:28:29.400 Neither have they called in a veterinary.
00:28:32.120 So I invite you to read that on my sub stack.
00:28:34.480 That's www.davidcraytonsubstack.com.
00:28:39.160 And I think you'll enjoy that article.
00:28:42.160 I've been doing a lot of writing about this.
00:28:44.440 We're up on the Post Millennial this week, of course.
00:28:47.520 We are up on Blaze Media as well.
00:28:51.780 We've done interviews with Katie at least once a week.
00:28:57.220 She was on the show this week.
00:28:58.760 I've done three shows about this this week.
00:29:00.860 Believe me, it's not great for the ratings, but I'm not here just for the ratings.
00:29:05.240 I'm here to do some good.
00:29:06.940 I'm here to fight for justice.
00:29:08.380 And this story is all about fighting for justice.
00:29:10.840 I can't tell you more of that.
00:29:12.380 I want to show you this beautiful little short that was put together.
00:29:16.200 And we air this with permission.
00:29:18.000 Hi, my name is Esme.
00:29:20.320 I do not want you to kill the ostriches.
00:29:24.320 And I also want to say something.
00:29:27.920 A hundred days ago, I was sick.
00:29:30.480 But now I'm not getting anybody sick because I'm healthy.
00:29:34.740 Just like the ostriches.
00:29:36.400 So, it makes no sense to kill the ostriches.
00:29:45.860 I'm looking at your videos and praying.
00:29:51.380 And I hope you do not kill the ostriches.
00:29:57.220 But I hope you save them.
00:30:00.160 Bye.
00:30:01.000 Have a nice day.
00:30:02.140 Now, you know, there might be some people out there who say, well, you shouldn't be using children for politics.
00:30:12.960 This is not politics anymore.
00:30:14.840 This is about morality.
00:30:16.600 This is about justice.
00:30:17.820 And if it takes wisdom from the mouth of babes, as the Bible says, then we'll take that wisdom from the mouth of babes.
00:30:28.540 And here is this little girl who's saying, well, I was sick and you're not going to kill me because I got well again.
00:30:37.960 So, I've actually read stories where the journalists are so dense, they repeat the talking points of the CFIA, which is, well, we were supposed to kill the birds within 72 hours of getting the cull order.
00:30:51.740 And at that time, they might still have been sick.
00:30:55.600 So, even though they've been healthy for 260 days, well, because we should have killed them within 72 hours, that gives us the right to kill them now, no matter how many days it's been.
00:31:06.280 These people are brain dead.
00:31:08.500 They're not even thinking straight.
00:31:09.760 And once again, it's not just about killing ostriches.
00:31:14.500 As horrible as that is, as painful as that is for my friends at this farm and for all of you watching to see the pain in Katie's face, it's agonizing.
00:31:25.660 This is about the government thinking it can just blithely walk onto your farm or your property, steal and kill your livestock on trumped-up charges, and destroy your livelihood.
00:31:41.640 Just like it's trying to destroy Chris Barber's livelihood in Ontario.
00:31:46.860 The Crown in Ontario wants to steal Chris Barber's truck so they can destroy his livelihood in addition to whatever sentence it passes.
00:31:54.860 And by the way, Tuesday, October 7th, Tamara Leach and Chris Barber, my friends, will be in court in Ottawa on Elgin Street, and they will receive their sentence.
00:32:10.620 God knows what it's going to be.
00:32:13.840 I'm not even going to hazard to guess.
00:32:16.120 My gut is telling me it's going to be a good resolution.
00:32:20.580 I won't expand upon that.
00:32:21.860 But the Crown is actually calling for eight years for Chris and seven for Tamara.
00:32:29.360 It's insane.
00:32:30.640 It's insane.
00:32:31.280 Well, we will be in the courtroom Tuesday reporting live on X, and I'm going straight into an article for the Postmillennial as well as my own broadcast after we have the verdict.
00:32:46.440 And we will be reporting live on that Tuesday, and this is going to be a very historic day in terms of whether we still have a country.
00:32:55.580 And I'm not exaggerating when I say that.
00:33:00.460 Do you still have a country?
00:33:03.300 Does Canada still exist for you?
00:33:06.460 Well, you know, you heard Ezra Levant say that there's been very little political support, and actually Katie elaborated on that.
00:33:14.660 She said her local MP, Scott Anderson, has been very supportive, and he has.
00:33:20.320 So clearly he's not out of line or out of sync with Pierre Paglia, the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada and the leader of the official opposition and Scott Anderson's boss.
00:33:33.000 If Scott Anderson was out of sync with Pierre Paglia, he wouldn't be talking about it.
00:33:37.300 So that's the way politics works.
00:33:41.580 And believe me, the control from the leader's office is just as stringent, just as powerful in the Conservative caucus as it is in the Liberal Government caucus.
00:33:53.220 It certainly was when Stephen Harper was prime minister, and it is as Pierre Paglia was leading the party.
00:33:58.920 But why hasn't Pierre Paglia said much about this?
00:34:02.860 Here's what he has said.
00:34:04.700 And we'll just listen to this, and we'll comment after.
00:34:09.200 An ostrich farm out in BC that's facing a potential cull of its ostriches.
00:34:13.680 Supporters are looking to see if you support or oppose this.
00:34:18.600 Have you taken any kind of position on this, or are you willing to speak to this matter in the House, as some of your MPs have?
00:34:25.040 Well, just yesterday I did speak on it, pointing out that this is just another example of total Liberal incompetence.
00:34:32.260 They've mismanaged this from the very beginning, and now they've left Canadians confused, farmers baffled by the total incompetence by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
00:34:47.120 Another disastrous Liberal mishandling of an issue that has left us with the problem we have today.
00:34:52.580 Thank you, Rebel News, for that.
00:34:57.160 Was that an answer?
00:34:58.760 I'm not sure it was.
00:35:00.400 Because he managed to provide that answer without once mentioning the farm, Universal Ostrich Farm, or even ostrich in the same breath.
00:35:11.600 Now, he clearly at least is saying the CFIA is incompetent.
00:35:17.420 Well, that's pretty obvious.
00:35:18.400 But farmers aren't baffled, and Canadians aren't confused over this.
00:35:23.120 They're furious!
00:35:26.100 Canadians are enraged that we have a government agency like the CFIA that is somehow above the law,
00:35:34.480 and they can exercise the kind of cruel treatment they have of these animals with impunity,
00:35:39.660 and they can get away with whatever they think they should be able to get away with.
00:35:45.700 Now, that's not confusing.
00:35:47.540 That is enraging Canadians.
00:35:50.020 And I think Pierpoli needs to be more specific.
00:35:54.860 And on Monday, if not over the weekend, he needs to make a definitive statement about this saying,
00:36:01.680 this is wrong, you need to retest the birds.
00:36:04.740 Because even Elizabeth May, you know, the Green Party leader of one,
00:36:12.280 even Elizabeth May says,
00:36:13.860 OK, I don't like the fact that there's billionaires involved in the story,
00:36:18.380 which is typical of Elizabeth May,
00:36:20.720 but the birds should be retested.
00:36:22.740 She says, that's beside the point.
00:36:24.780 That's beside the point that I've got a problem with billionaires.
00:36:27.560 The birds should be retested.
00:36:29.080 Well, thank you, Elizabeth May, for that breadth of common sense from you.
00:36:31.980 And I think there's going to be growing calls from conservative members.
00:36:40.120 Who knows?
00:36:40.600 Maybe even some backbench liberals who are saying,
00:36:43.040 does this make sense?
00:36:44.680 Should we really be tied at the hip to the CFIA on this?
00:36:48.580 Should we really be taking direction from an organization that clearly is out of its depth,
00:36:53.480 is sinking every day,
00:36:56.160 farther and farther, lower and lower in its own disinformation?
00:37:01.020 No.
00:37:02.720 So I'm calling right now for a unified front of liberals, conservatives, NDP.
00:37:07.060 If you're an animal activist and an NDP,
00:37:10.360 why aren't you on side here?
00:37:12.360 Why aren't you on board?
00:37:13.900 Katie said, where's PETA?
00:37:16.160 Well, PETA used to go on Tucker Carlson's show on Fox
00:37:19.400 because they could find common ground about things.
00:37:22.000 Can we not find common ground with PETA about this issue?
00:37:25.160 That it's wrong to kill almost 400 healthy ostriches based on a policy that's bankrupt,
00:37:32.880 on a policy that makes no sense,
00:37:35.040 on a policy that comes from the United Nations and not from Canada.
00:37:38.880 Canada is still an independent country the last time I looked,
00:37:43.420 even though sometimes it doesn't feel that way.
00:37:46.020 We're still a democracy.
00:37:47.100 So I say, let's have a unified front of common sense people,
00:37:51.760 of all political persuasions,
00:37:53.820 and let's push back on this issue as strongly as we have to,
00:37:58.800 as strongly as we need to.
00:37:59.960 You remember Pierre Polyev during the Freedom Convoy.
00:38:06.700 Well, Pierre Polyev brought coffee and donuts to the Freedom Convoy people
00:38:11.000 because the house was sitting at that time.
00:38:15.300 I think so.
00:38:16.640 Yeah.
00:38:17.120 February?
00:38:17.920 Yeah.
00:38:19.260 And Pierre Polyev walked down from the House of Commons
00:38:24.700 to Wellington Street where the truckers were,
00:38:27.840 and he gave them coffee and donuts, and he talked to them.
00:38:30.460 Now, he didn't say too much further about the issue.
00:38:35.800 He didn't get into the weeds.
00:38:37.780 He didn't elaborate on how deep his support was,
00:38:41.560 but at least he had the sense to run across the street,
00:38:47.520 to walk across the street,
00:38:48.660 and commune with these people who are fighting for freedom
00:38:53.560 and getting tremendous threats from the government.
00:38:56.680 He needs to do the same thing.
00:38:58.900 I would love to see Pierre Polyev fly out this weekend to Kelowna.
00:39:04.460 Take the drive from Kelowna to Edgewood.
00:39:08.500 Visit the farm and say,
00:39:10.380 I'm with you.
00:39:10.940 I'm standing with Universal Ostrich Farms.
00:39:13.720 I encourage all of you to get that message out to Pierre Polyev this weekend.
00:39:18.280 It's Saturday morning.
00:39:19.300 Start emailing Pierre's constituency office in Alberta.
00:39:25.760 Tell him you want him.
00:39:27.720 Tell him you want him to visit the farm and show his support for these freedom activists,
00:39:33.900 for these people who are putting their lives on the line for freedom,
00:39:40.280 just like the Freedom Convoy truckers did it for you three years ago.
00:39:46.460 Three and a half.
00:39:47.220 Three and a half years ago now.
00:39:49.100 So encourage Pierre Polyev to do the right thing.
00:39:53.160 We deserve no less.
00:39:56.940 And tell him to show the political courage you know he has.
00:40:00.880 Put it that way.
00:40:02.320 Put it that way.
00:40:03.300 You know he can do this.
00:40:05.740 And if he's worried about pushback from some establishment Tories or some establishment conservatives,
00:40:13.080 don't worry about it.
00:40:14.680 You're not facing a federal election right now.
00:40:17.100 You're facing a leadership review within your party next February.
00:40:21.260 Maybe you should be worried about that.
00:40:24.080 Maybe some conservatives aren't going to be very happy with you for saying nothing about this issue.
00:40:28.660 So maybe it would be a politically astute thing, as well as the morally right thing,
00:40:33.720 to speak out about this ostrich farm today or tomorrow.
00:40:38.040 Or on Monday, get up in the house and talk about it.
00:40:41.260 That would be so wonderful for all of us who want you to fight back against a liberal government
00:40:48.700 that is tyrannical.
00:40:50.960 Four censorship bills in the docket.
00:40:53.600 This liberal government wants to freeze, destroy, annihilate, eviscerate free speech.
00:41:02.280 And it wants anybody it doesn't like off the internet, off social media,
00:41:08.000 and charged with hate crimes or hate speech.
00:41:10.720 That's what this liberal government wants.
00:41:12.540 We need you, Pierre Polyev, to fight back against censorship
00:41:16.860 and against this horrible overreach of government that's occurring right now
00:41:22.080 at Universal Ostrich Farms in Edgewood, B.C.
00:41:25.280 Do the right thing.
00:41:26.840 Fight back.
00:41:28.000 I will continue to be fighting on this issue, and I'll be back again tomorrow
00:41:32.060 with more of the news you need to know.
00:41:35.760 Thank you for your support.
00:41:37.660 Share this broadcast with your friends and family, because YouTube won't do it.
00:41:41.020 They don't want us talking about the ostrich farm.
00:41:43.000 So I thank you for your support in advance.
00:41:46.140 Thank you for your comments today.
00:41:47.980 Next week, we're going to go into super chats and rumble rants,
00:41:52.320 and we're going to be talking about what you're saying,
00:41:55.180 and we're going to be putting those comments on the board
00:41:58.020 and thanking you for participating in this democratic show.
00:42:03.340 And that's what we're all about.
00:42:04.640 Thank you again for your support.
00:42:06.400 I'll be back again tomorrow.
00:42:07.760 God bless what's left of this country.
00:42:10.840 Do I still have a country?
00:42:12.380 Well, barely, but I'm still fighting for it.
00:42:15.620 And Godspeed to all of you who support this station
00:42:18.940 and who support the work we're doing.
00:42:21.080 We'll see you tomorrow.
