Summary

Speaker of the House of Commons debates a bill that could have resulted in the Tories voting against the Liberal government's Throne Speech yesterday, but the Tories voted in favour of the Throne Speech anyway. What's the deal with that?

00:00:00.000 Mr. Speaker, the fentanyl crisis has impacted communities across Canada and across North
00:00:09.800 America.
00:00:10.800 We're accelerating the work to crack down and dismantle the fentanyl trade and organize
00:00:15.340 crime groups that profit from it.
00:00:17.240 That's why we listed seven cartels as terrorist entities under the criminal code.
00:00:22.440 I'm working closely with Kevin Brasseau, Canada's fentanyl czar, at home and abroad
00:00:27.320 to put a laser-sharp focus on dismantling fentanyl.
00:00:31.220 We will put those profiting from this drug behind bars.
00:00:35.000 Mr. Speaker, we expect support for the border bill from my friend opposite and across the
00:00:41.320 aisle.
00:00:42.320 This is a very important question.
00:00:45.320 Maybe not.
00:00:46.320 Welcome back to Stand on Guard.
00:00:49.160 I'm your host, David Creighton, broadcasting live again this morning from our nation's
00:00:53.960 capital.
00:00:54.960 This is your public safety minister, Gary, you know, yeah, Sander Agangery, I think it
00:01:02.960 is.
00:01:03.960 But he's talking about Kevin Brasseau.
00:01:06.640 You remember him?
00:01:09.140 He was the fentanyl czar appointed quite some time ago.
00:01:14.000 We haven't heard a peep from this fentanyl czar since he was appointed.
00:01:21.760 And is that because he simply isn't doing his job?
00:01:25.760 Or is he really that media shy?
00:01:27.760 When we come back, we've got lots to talk about today.
00:01:30.760 The prime minister lied and his minions continue to lie.
00:01:37.760 We need to put it to change.
00:01:39.760 But we also need to resolve to resist.
00:01:42.760 By the way, the public safety minister's name is Gary Ananda Sangery.
00:01:49.760 I was not intentionally mispronouncing his name.
00:01:51.760 I just, and I don't like to be disrespectful towards anybody, even though I don't agree with
00:01:58.760 their policies.
00:02:00.760 But what's going on, you say?
00:02:01.760 Well, before I get into this, please like the station now, because once again, YouTube has
00:02:07.760 got their thumb on the station every day.
00:02:09.760 I don't want to whine.
00:02:10.760 I don't want to complain too much, but we're fighting for our life here.
00:02:16.760 So please share the station with your friends and family.
00:02:18.760 And then it might help.
00:02:19.760 It really might help.
00:02:20.760 And we are doing our damnedest to bring you news you're not going to get anywhere else.
00:02:41.760 So we'll be talking about this security bill and why the conservatives should not be supporting
00:02:48.760 it.
00:02:49.760 Before I do, I just want to remind you all, it's June the 5th, 2025.
00:02:54.760 In 1968, Bobby Kennedy was, can I say that word, was dispensed, dispatched at the Ambassador
00:03:05.760 Hotel in Los Angeles, killed by, we thought Sirhan Sirhan, but Bobby Kennedy Jr., of course,
00:03:13.760 says there's no way Sirhan Sirhan could have done it.
00:03:16.760 So it looks like it was a deep state act, just like it was for his brother, John F.
00:03:21.760 Kennedy, five years earlier.
00:03:24.760 But I just wanted to mention that.
00:03:27.760 I think Bobby Kennedy Sr. was a person who really cared for people, just like Bobby Kennedy
00:03:32.760 Jr. seems to care about human life as well.
00:03:35.760 And the more he's attacked, the more I know he's doing the right thing.
00:03:40.760 But I want to talk about what the hell, excuse my language, but what the hell happened yesterday?
00:03:47.760 I had so many people say, what happened to the vote?
00:03:50.760 Didn't we have a non-confidence vote yesterday?
00:03:52.760 Sort of.
00:03:55.760 Throne speech adopted without a vote in the House of Commons.
00:03:59.760 All right.
00:04:00.760 So you can either say they had the vote on division or you can say they had no vote at all.
00:04:06.760 But this is everything we're seeing right now in the House of Commons and from the Liberal government.
00:04:14.760 And I'll get into their security bill in a minute and exactly what it means for you and why the Conservatives shouldn't be supporting this.
00:04:23.760 The Conservatives did not vote against the government yesterday.
00:04:27.760 I see people out there saying, oh, Conservatives stood up to the Liberals, those NDP, the bloc.
00:04:34.760 There wasn't a single vote against this throne speech yesterday, even though the NDP claimed that they were going to vote against it.
00:04:45.760 Here, let's watch the video, because as far as I can see, there's absolutely no indication that anybody in the House of Commons, any party voted against the throne speech.
00:05:01.760 And this is all, once again, charade, facade, big farce.
00:05:06.760 You want to see the best show in Ottawa or actually in Canada, come to the House of Commons and watch what's going on here.
00:05:13.760 It is theatre.
00:05:15.760 And it's not just the Kearney Liberals.
00:05:18.760 It's theatre all around.
00:05:20.760 Let's call it theatre in the round.
00:05:22.760 That's exactly what's going on.
00:05:24.760 And, you know, I should probably put my face back in here, as contemptible as that might be for some people.
00:05:30.760 I really don't believe what I'm seeing at times, because nobody is saying what they really mean.
00:05:38.760 And at the last minute, of course, everybody supported the throne speech.
00:05:43.760 And the Conservatives, they won't tell you.
00:05:46.760 They're not saying how they voted.
00:05:48.760 But here, watch this and you'll know how the Conservatives voted.
00:05:51.760 We met caucus this morning and we decided that we are going to be voting no to the throne speech.
00:05:57.760 Yeah, sure.
00:06:01.760 Today, I note that Labour, the FCM and the Chambers of Commerce have called on this government to take meaningful action to protect jobs and the industry.
00:06:12.760 Prime Minister Kearney has announced before that he would allocate all of the monies from the countervagant tariffs to affected workers.
00:06:22.760 And yet, to date, we have not seen any meaningful announcement from this government to protect workers who will lose their jobs or Canadian industry.
00:06:31.760 The Democrats are calling on this government to take a number of swift measures.
00:06:36.760 First, we want them to bring in emergency reforms to the employment insurance program.
00:06:42.760 Second, we want to make the use of Canadian steel mandatory in all government infrastructure projects and the centrepiece of the One Canada economy legislation.
00:06:53.760 And third, we'd like to see tax incentives to private businesses to encourage them to use Canadian-made products.
00:07:01.760 The second thing I want to announce today is that the Democrats met caucus this morning and we decided that we are going to be voting no to the throne speech.
00:07:11.760 1.2 million Canadians sent through Democrats to this Parliament to advocate for working families across this country.
00:07:19.760 And yet, in this throne speech, we don't see those priorities reflected.
00:07:24.760 Millions of Canadians don't have access to an affordable home.
00:07:28.760 They don't have access to timely health care.
00:07:31.760 And they don't have access to the good, family-sustaining jobs that they need.
00:07:36.760 And yet, the throne speech doesn't even mention the words healthy.
00:07:41.760 You won't even find those words in the throne speech.
00:07:44.760 2 million Canadians.
00:07:49.760 Yet, in this throne speech, we don't see those priorities reflected.
00:07:53.760 Millions of Canadians don't have access to an affordable home.
00:07:57.760 All right, so here's the interim leader of the NDP saying no mention of affordable housing.
00:08:16.760 In fact, labor is even mentioned in the throne speech.
00:08:20.760 He's not very happy.
00:08:22.760 And of course, about half this guy's caucus, this tiny caucus of seven NDP MPs, don't like this guy.
00:08:28.760 And they claim they never had a chance to vote for an interim leader.
00:08:33.760 So he's on very fragile ground to begin with.
00:08:37.760 But here he is laying out his demands to the government.
00:08:42.760 We're not going to support the throne speech unless...
00:08:46.760 So how come, a couple of hours later, they voted in favor of the throne speech?
00:08:52.760 Hey, there's better...
00:08:54.760 There's better to come in this little video here.
00:08:56.760 Because this captures stuff that I didn't see much of the mainstream media actually covering.
00:09:01.760 There is no mention of non-market housing, cooperative housing, or housing for indigenous people.
00:09:13.760 Some of the most acute needs...
00:09:15.760 A few moments later...
00:09:18.760 Mr. Speaker, there have been discussions among the parties.
00:09:21.760 And if you seek it, I believe you'll find the unanimous consent for the following motion.
00:09:25.760 That notwithstanding any standing order or usual practice of the House.
00:09:29.760 A. The address be engrossed and forwarded to His Majesty the King.
00:09:34.760 B. An address be presented to Her Excellency.
00:09:37.760 The Governor-General praying that Her Excellency will be pleased to transmit to His Majesty the King an engrossed address.
00:09:44.760 Which the Commons of Canada in Parliament assembled.
00:09:48.760 Adopted in reply to His Majesty's speech at the opening of the first session of the 45th Parliament.
00:09:54.760 And see the address be engrossed and presented to Her Excellency the Governor-General by the Speaker.
00:10:02.760 A. All those opposed to the honorable members moving the motion will please say nay.
00:10:08.760 A. Agreed.
00:10:11.760 A. The House has heard the terms of the motion.
00:10:13.760 A. All those opposed to the motion will please say nay.
00:10:16.760 A. Carried.
00:10:19.760 A. Great.
00:10:21.760 A. Is it just me or are you not hearing anybody, including Andrew Scheer, who's the acting leader of the official opposition,
00:10:29.760 say anything in opposition to this?
00:10:33.760 Now, last week, I talked about how the Liberals want to co-opt the Conservatives.
00:10:40.760 It looks like they're succeeding.
00:10:43.760 Because there wasn't a single word of protest about the throne speech.
00:10:49.760 Despite all of the bluster from the NDP, they said nothing either.
00:10:54.760 The bloc obviously supported it too, even though at least they had the dignity to say nothing at all before the vote.
00:11:01.760 But this is how much of a charade Parliament has become.
00:11:05.760 And as I said, it's a government in the back room.
00:11:09.760 It's Carney's government in the back room.
00:11:12.760 And once again, I say please share this video, share this station, share this broadcast with your friends and family,
00:11:20.760 because the thumb is on this broadcast again.
00:11:24.760 And it's a daily battle to get these numbers up.
00:11:28.760 So there you go.
00:11:31.760 You can't handle the truth.
00:11:33.760 You can't handle the truth.
00:11:34.760 Yeah.
00:11:35.760 No, some people can't handle the truth.
00:11:38.760 And the truth is, there was no opposition to the throne speech.
00:11:42.760 Was there a vote?
00:11:44.760 Not really.
00:11:45.760 No, it wasn't a recorded vote.
00:11:48.760 But if somebody had have said, hold it, we are opposed, then at least there would have been somebody on the record as saying they oppose it.
00:12:01.760 So I want to get before I get to the government security bill, which you saw the public safety minister reference at the very beginning.
00:12:10.760 Let's listen to a bit of question period yesterday, because it's bizarre.
00:12:14.760 It's all I can say is it gets more bizarre every day.
00:12:18.760 What's going on here?
00:12:19.760 Because Mark Carney wants to govern by decree.
00:12:23.760 Questions oral, oral questions, the Honourable Leader of the Opposition.
00:12:35.760 Let's be clear.
00:12:36.760 Trump's tariffs on Canada are wrong, unjustified, an attack on our workers and our economy.
00:12:42.760 Now, while other countries have got deals to lower their tariffs, not only has the PM failed to do that, but he's got Canada's tariffs doubled on steel and aluminum.
00:12:52.760 He promised he was the man with the plan.
00:12:54.760 He can't even get a deal.
00:12:56.760 Our workers are terrified about losing their jobs.
00:12:59.760 And he promised that he'd collect $20 billion in retaliatory tariffs, but then secretly drop those tariffs to zero during the campaign.
00:13:05.760 If he's so sure that he's still going to collect $20 billion, why not table a budget and prove it to Canadians?
00:13:11.760 The Right Honourable Prime Minister.
00:13:13.760 Mr. Speaker, the American tariffs, the new tariffs on steel and aluminum,
00:13:21.760 are unlawful, unjustified and illogical.
00:13:25.760 I agree with that.
00:13:26.760 And that is one of the reasons why we have retaliatory tariffs on over $90 billion worth of U.S. goods.
00:13:41.760 We are in intensive negotiations with the Americans and in parallel preparing reprisals if those negotiations do not succeed.
00:13:50.760 The Honourable Leader of the Opposition.
00:13:53.760 Well, one way to deal with the Americans is from a position of strength.
00:13:56.760 But now the Prime Minister is saying that he won't even approve a new pipeline unless there is consensus.
00:14:02.760 This is already unraveling.
00:14:03.760 The radical BC Premier says no pipeline through his province.
00:14:07.760 There's not even consensus in the Liberal Cabinet with top ministers committed to killing oil and gas projects.
00:14:14.760 The vast majority of Canadians don't want to give a veto to politicians.
00:14:18.760 They want to be less dependent on the Americans and to earn more powerful paychecks from selling our oil and gas around the world.
00:14:25.760 Will the Prime Minister show some leadership and commit to approving a pipeline today?
00:14:29.760 The right Honourable Prime Minister.
00:14:36.760 Mr. Speaker, Canadians from Shewinigan to Saskatoon and the Premiers and Prime Minister that represent them have agreed on the importance of building projects of national interest.
00:14:47.760 The consensus that's required includes a consensus with Indigenous peoples, something that the members opposite do know that we will stand with Indigenous Canadians.
00:14:58.760 We will build pipelines, energy infrastructure in the future of this great country.
00:15:03.760 The Honourable Leader of the Opposition.
00:15:06.760 If photo ops and phony rhetoric actually got things done in this country, then Justin Trudeau would still be Prime Minister.
00:15:21.760 But in all seriousness, the Liberals' half trillion in new spending without a budget will make inflation worse.
00:15:31.760 The PM said that he wants to be judged by prices at the grocery store.
00:15:34.760 So let's look at those prices.
00:15:35.760 The verdict is in.
00:15:36.760 Beef up 34%, apples up 18%, coffee up 9%.
00:15:41.760 Will the Prime Minister listen to Parliament and table a budget that controls spending, lowers taxes and cuts inflation so Canadians can afford to put food on the table?
00:15:51.760 The right Honourable Prime Minister.
00:15:56.760 Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker, I'm pleased for the first time to hear the members opposite talk about lowering taxes.
00:16:02.760 That's right.
00:16:03.760 In front of this House.
00:16:04.760 In front of this House.
00:16:05.760 First time in my hearing.
00:16:07.760 First time in my hearing, Mr. Speaker.
00:16:10.760 Before the House is a tax cut for 22 million Canadians up $840.
00:16:15.760 They want their support.
00:16:17.760 All right, so now Mark Carney is blaming the First Nations over the pipeline because there won't be consensus there, he's suggesting.
00:16:31.760 We know he's playing games.
00:16:33.760 He really has no intention or desire to build any pipelines because he'd like to keep the oil and gas in the ground.
00:16:40.760 That's what Mark Carney is all about.
00:16:45.760 And he's always been all about that.
00:16:47.760 So this is interesting.
00:16:49.760 By the way, coffee up 9% since when?
00:16:52.760 Last month?
00:16:53.760 I'm telling you, literally in the last year, I buy coffee beans, a particular brand of coffee beans that you can find at Freshco, sometimes Walmart, other grocery stores.
00:17:05.760 I used to pay $12 for those about a year ago.
00:17:10.760 I'm paying over $20 for those same coffee beans.
00:17:13.760 So this is very deceptive, saying it's 9%, coffee's up 9%.
00:17:18.760 Maybe the coffee at Tim Hortons is up 9%.
00:17:21.760 But I tell you, the coffee you buy in the grocery store, whether it's beans or it's been crushed, it's not up 9%.
00:17:31.760 It's a lot more than that.
00:17:33.760 But that was good.
00:17:34.760 Andrew Scheer talking about pipelines because it embarrasses Mark Carney, because he is all over the map on pipelines.
00:17:42.760 And this is all about distraction, of course, from Mark Carney.
00:17:45.760 He wants to distract you from what he's actually doing.
00:17:47.760 But why are the conservatives not talking about this?
00:17:52.760 The Strong Borders Act.
00:17:54.760 This is what you out there need to know about.
00:17:59.760 This is what they're trying to sell as national security.
00:18:07.760 And act respecting certain measures, certain measures relating to the security of the border between Canada and the United States and respecting other related security measures.
00:18:22.760 It should be measures.
00:18:23.760 They had a typo in their legislation.
00:18:26.760 So sounds great, eh?
00:18:28.760 We're going to have border security.
00:18:30.760 And I'll get to the public safety minister giving you his assurance that the drug with the F word, and I don't mean, you know what, but I mean, okay, I'll say it, fentanyl, I can say it maybe once in a broadcast, that the F drug is not going to come across the border because they're going to get tough.
00:18:52.760 Yeah, they're going to get really tough about this with this strong borders act.
00:18:59.760 All right.
00:19:00.760 So the bill is already facing backlash.
00:19:02.760 The proposal has been met with strong opposition from immigration and human rights advocates in Canada.
00:19:09.760 But don't worry, because they're not serious about cutting immigration.
00:19:14.760 This is the window dressing of this bill.
00:19:17.760 What is the bill really about?
00:19:19.760 Because do you really think we're going to have we're going to stop the flow of the F drug at the border or in Vancouver where it's coming in from China?
00:19:29.760 Do you think Mark Carney is going to stop it coming in from China?
00:19:31.760 Do you think he's going to stand up to China?
00:19:33.760 No, he will not stand up to China.
00:19:36.760 Here's what's wrong with the strong borders act.
00:19:40.760 Excuse me, I have to put my glasses on for this one and excuse these glasses.
00:19:47.760 That's all I have.
00:19:48.760 The proposed law would give police more power to search mail while expanding the authority of Canada post to open people's letters.
00:19:59.760 Wow.
00:20:00.760 The bill would outlaw cash transactions greater than $10,000 to prevent money laundering.
00:20:08.760 Oh, banks and credit unions will still be able to take deposits in cash over $10,000, but you'll never see it again.
00:20:18.760 The bill would give police and intelligence services enhanced power to access electronic information in some cases without a warrant granted by a court.
00:20:28.760 Okay.
00:20:29.760 Okay.
00:20:30.760 That's what the strong borders act is really about.
00:20:35.760 That's what the strong borders act is.
00:20:38.760 It's about opening your mail, making sure you'll never have more than $10,000 in cash.
00:20:43.760 And so the government can snoop on your email and your text messages and things you posted on X.
00:20:56.760 It gives the government, once again, incredible control over our lives.
00:21:02.760 And that's what this bill is really all about.
00:21:06.760 It's not about a stronger border.
00:21:08.760 This is how Mark Carney is going to use the back door to introduce his digital currency policy.
00:21:16.760 This is where this is going.
00:21:18.760 This is digital currency.
00:21:20.760 Read it.
00:21:21.760 DC, digital currency.
00:21:23.760 And this is what Mark Carney has been trying to push his entire career as a governor of Bank of Canada, governor of Bank of England.
00:21:34.760 He's been a proponent of digital currency.
00:21:36.760 This is how he's going to get it through in Canada.
00:21:39.760 And this is why the strong borders bill is bad news for your freedom.
00:21:47.760 It's just like what Mark Carney did during the freedom convoy, freezing bank accounts.
00:21:53.760 Do you think they can freeze bank accounts?
00:21:55.760 Do you think that will be a part of this legislation?
00:21:57.760 Oh, you bet it will.
00:21:58.760 Because that's how the government says it's going to stop those organized criminals, organized crime, engaging in money laundering.
00:22:08.760 They'll freeze bank accounts just because they suspect you.
00:22:12.760 What, of being part of organized crime?
00:22:15.760 No, they suspect you of being on the wrong side, of espousing the wrong policies, of supporting the wrong political party, of having the wrong political views.
00:22:23.760 Therefore, it will freeze your bank account and will open your mail and will spy on your internet communication.
00:22:31.760 This is bad news.
00:22:32.760 This is bad news.
00:22:33.760 And I've got to put this up.
00:22:35.760 Elon Musk, God bless him.
00:22:38.760 He finally, he came out last week in an interview and he said a bill can't be big and beautiful at the same time.
00:22:45.760 This is, he's talking about this incredibly obscene grandstanding bill that Donald Trump is trying to push through Congress.
00:22:54.760 Trillions and trillions of dollars.
00:22:56.760 He used Elon Musk.
00:22:58.760 And once again, I'm glad Donald Trump won the election.
00:23:02.760 I just wish he would maintain solidarity with the policies he won the election with.
00:23:10.760 So Elon Musk goes out and he finds billions of dollars in waste, government waste.
00:23:15.760 And he exposes all of this government waste in USAID, government credit cards being used, the government supporting all kinds of perverse and crazy studies and programs around the world.
00:23:29.760 And so what does the government do to Elon Musk?
00:23:33.760 Elon Musk, trillion dollar defense budget.
00:23:36.760 And now they've got a bill before Congress.
00:23:38.760 It's that's going to be multi trillions of dollars.
00:23:40.760 So he says, I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore.
00:23:43.760 This massive, outrageous pork bill, congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.
00:23:51.760 Shame on those who voted for it.
00:23:54.760 You know, you did wrong.
00:23:57.760 You know it.
00:24:00.760 I couldn't agree more.
00:24:04.760 When you save five hundred billion dollars and then you spend another three trillion dollars, you're not saving any money.
00:24:11.760 You're not stopping government waste.
00:24:13.760 You're encouraging government waste.
00:24:15.760 You know, and it's time for Donald Trump to stand up for the fiscal responsibility he was elected for and to stop supporting Ukraine.
00:24:25.760 Ukraine.
00:24:27.760 Stop the flow of arms and money to Ukraine so we can end this war and stop the flow of money and armaments to Israel so we can stop the war in the Middle East.
00:24:37.760 And don't start another one with Iran.
00:24:40.760 Donald Trump said he came to the presidency as a man of peace.
00:24:44.760 He could stop the war in Ukraine in 24 hours.
00:24:47.760 He's had 24 hours, 24 days.
00:24:51.760 He won't be able to stop in 24 months if he keeps feeding the armaments industry in the United States, the military industrial establishment.
00:24:59.760 He's feeding it at a rate the Democrats always did.
00:25:03.760 And I tell you the truth.
00:25:05.760 It's absolutely appalling.
00:25:07.760 What else are the liberals up to here?
00:25:09.760 I got to show you this.
00:25:12.760 Wow.
00:25:14.760 And once again, I got to put these crazy glasses on because I can't find my other ones.
00:25:19.760 True to appointed Senator Christopher Wells says he would be interested in the Carney liberals making a third attempt at censoring the Internet.
00:25:27.760 Well, don't worry, Christopher.
00:25:29.760 Hey, don't worry.
00:25:31.760 Put your mind at ease.
00:25:33.760 You can bet Mark Carney.
00:25:35.760 You can bet your bottom dollar as sure as 10 dimes make a dollar that Mark Carney is going to reintroduce the online harms bill.
00:25:44.760 He's going to continue to suppress free speech.
00:25:47.760 He's going to continue to try to eradicate free speech on the Internet to control what you say and even what you think, because that's what the online harms bill was all about.
00:25:58.760 It was called Bill C-63.
00:26:00.760 It died with the last parliament before the election.
00:26:05.760 Mark Carney is going to resurrect this zombie, the living dead.
00:26:10.760 He's going to bring back this bill from the dead, and it's going to stalk the corridors of the House of Commons and the corridors of the Internet and stop free speech.
00:26:21.760 That's what Mark Carney is all about.
00:26:23.760 I'm sorry.
00:26:24.760 No, no, I'm not sorry.
00:26:26.760 But that's really what he's all about.
00:26:29.760 Now, we got some more.
00:26:31.760 You're not in a very good position.
00:26:33.760 You've allowed your salary to be in a very bad position, and he happens to be right about it.
00:26:38.760 From the very beginning of the war, Mr. Brown, I was arrested.
00:26:42.760 You don't have the cards right now.
00:26:43.760 With us, you start having cards.
00:26:44.760 I'm not playing cards.
00:26:45.760 Right now, you don't have your playing cards.
00:26:47.760 You're playing cards.
00:26:48.760 You're gambling with the lives of millions of people.
00:26:51.760 You're gambling with World War III.
00:26:53.760 President Trump said that Ukraine doesn't have good cards, but the world has a lot of cards against Russia.
00:27:01.760 And one of those cards that we have is about to be played in the United States Senate.
00:27:06.760 In America, you have more than one person at the card table.
00:27:10.760 All right, we'll be getting back to the Canadian news, but I had to show you that because I'm writing a column about this.
00:27:17.760 I'm absolutely outraged that Donald Trump didn't take Republican Senator from South Carolina, Lindsey Graham, aside and tell him, shut your big fat mouth.
00:27:30.760 Stop interfering in foreign policy.
00:27:33.760 So Graham and Blumenthal, the Democratic Senator Blumenthal, both violated the Logan Act, which says politicians or private citizens cannot interfere with foreign policy and negotiate with countries that the federal government is already in negotiation with.
00:28:00.760 Especially if that negotiation is contrary to what the government is negotiating.
00:28:07.760 Donald Trump is supposed to be negotiating a peace settlement with Ukraine.
00:28:11.760 So Lindsey Graham brings his fat ass, excuse my language, over to Ukraine and tells them, hey, you've got lots of cards.
00:28:21.760 Go ahead.
00:28:22.760 Did he tell them to bomb Russian sites where there are nuclear weapons?
00:28:30.760 Did he tell them that?
00:28:31.760 Probably.
00:28:32.760 I would not put it past Lindsey Graham.
00:28:34.760 He is dying, thirsting, hungry for a nuclear war.
00:28:39.760 And my God, he'll get one if he keeps this up.
00:28:43.760 But somebody should haul his fat ass, once again, excuse my language, in front of a judge and charge him with violating the Logan Act.
00:28:52.760 Because this is outrageous.
00:28:54.760 It's not just that it's bad for Donald Trump or it's bad for the U.S. government.
00:28:59.760 This guy is bringing us, creeping us every day closer to a nuclear war with Russia.
00:29:04.760 You think it can't happen?
00:29:05.760 You bet it can.
00:29:06.760 Because we came very close.
00:29:09.760 And NATO was involved in these airstrikes on Russian sites.
00:29:13.760 We came close to hitting nuclear weapons.
00:29:18.760 That could lead to a Holocaust.
00:29:22.760 And I tell you, it's bad news.
00:29:25.760 Platforms are being misused to subvert science and spread disinformation and hate to billions of people.
00:29:33.760 This clear and present global threat demands clear and coordinated global action.
00:29:39.760 Our policy brief on information integrity on digital digital platforms puts forward the framework for a concerned international response.
00:29:53.760 All right.
00:29:55.760 Get out of the United Nations.
00:29:57.760 Let's get out of the United Nations.
00:29:59.760 Let's defund the United Nations.
00:30:01.760 Let's not give them another red dime, red cent.
00:30:05.760 They are telling us, well, did you hear what he said?
00:30:08.760 This is Anthony Guterres, the Secretary General of the U.N., saying,
00:30:13.760 we want to ban all platforms that don't advance the United Nations narrative because they're all spewing misinformation and disinformation because we don't agree with it.
00:30:26.760 And it's hateful.
00:30:28.760 It's very hateful if it doesn't agree with the U.N.
00:30:30.760 Just, just hateful, hateful, hateful.
00:30:32.760 It's really bad because I don't agree with it.
00:30:35.760 I don't agree with it.
00:30:36.760 So therefore it's hateful.
00:30:38.760 These people have got such acorn sized minds.
00:30:42.760 There's no other way to explain the rhetoric that comes out of their incredibly big mouths.
00:30:49.760 But that's what we're up against.
00:30:51.760 Now, I want to show this.
00:30:53.760 This is probably the best exchange in question period yesterday, because it actually talks about something that's really important to you and I.
00:31:06.760 What are the liberals going to do about the drug issue?
00:31:08.760 And do you think they're going to stop fentanyl at the border?
00:31:12.760 Do you think they're going to stop fentanyl from coming in the Vancouver ports?
00:31:16.760 Read what my friend and colleague Sam Cooper has done on the bureau.
00:31:20.760 I invite you to go to Substack and read what he's written about China sending the F drug to Vancouver ports.
00:31:31.760 And nobody's looking for it.
00:31:35.760 Terrible Prince George.
00:31:37.760 In my hometown of Williams Lake with a population of 10,000, six prolific offenders commit 98% of the crime.
00:31:44.760 When they're in jail, crime rate goes down.
00:31:46.760 When they're out on the streets, crime rate goes up.
00:31:48.760 Businesses can't even get the mandatory insurance anymore due to high rates of vandalism.
00:31:53.760 On top of this, our communities are faced with an out-of-control overdose crisis.
00:31:58.760 Last week, Williams Lake saw an average of 20 to 30 overdoses per day.
00:32:03.760 If he's the man with a plan, will the Prime Minister rise today and tell us what his plan is to confront the overdose crisis?
00:32:10.760 Lock up repeat offenders and make our communities safe.
00:32:13.760 The Honourable Minister of Public Safety.
00:32:18.760 Thank you. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
00:32:21.760 Our plan to keep communities safe will keep drugs, guns and criminals off our streets.
00:32:26.760 As the first bill that's to be debated tomorrow, Mr. Speaker, will be the borders bill.
00:32:31.760 And we're expecting that the Conservative Party...
00:32:35.760 Okay!
00:32:36.760 He's not answering the question.
00:32:39.760 Of course, they never do.
00:32:40.760 But Gary Ananda Sanguri...
00:32:42.760 Okay, I got his name right that time.
00:32:44.760 Is saying, we expect the Conservatives to support our border bill.
00:32:48.760 Oh!
00:32:50.760 Does he think the Conservatives are not going to read the bill to the very end?
00:32:54.760 The part about the $10,000.
00:32:58.760 The anticipation of digital currency.
00:33:01.760 The RCMP opening your mail.
00:33:03.760 Canada Post employees.
00:33:04.760 Do you want Canada Post employees?
00:33:07.760 Cup W people opening your mail?
00:33:10.760 That's what's in this bill.
00:33:12.760 And do you want your conversations, your text messages, your emails, your thoughts, your musings on X or Facebook or, for God's sake, on YouTube?
00:33:26.760 Do you want that to be accessed by the federal government?
00:33:31.760 That's what this bill is all about, Gary.
00:33:34.760 And if the Conservatives support this bill because they think, hey, we can't oppose this because we look like we're soft on the border.
00:33:43.760 Yeah, you bet that argument's going to be used.
00:33:47.760 But it's like everything this government does is they wave a flag and they say, we're about Canada strong.
00:33:56.760 This is what this bill is about.
00:33:57.760 This is what this government is about.
00:33:59.760 Don't read the fine print.
00:34:01.760 Don't look below that because you might waver in your support.
00:34:06.760 Because they're not really selling border security.
00:34:10.760 They've already got a border security plan.
00:34:12.760 Remember the plan Trudeau left office with?
00:34:15.760 $1.6 billion over six years for border security.
00:34:21.760 And, of course, it was all going to be spent in years five and six.
00:34:25.760 It was a joke.
00:34:26.760 Mark Carney is also going to be implementing a joke.
00:34:30.760 Because this bill has really nothing to do with border security.
00:34:33.760 It has everything to do with censorship and government control of what you read, what you see, what you do.
00:34:41.760 Including the fact it's going to be the beginning of the end of cash and the beginning of a digital currency in Canada.
00:34:51.760 We'll listen to the rest of Gary's little talk.
00:34:55.760 We'll support it in order for us to keep fentanyl off our streets, guns off our streets, make sure that illicit fundraising is curtailed and to ensure that our communities are safer.
00:35:06.760 If they want to put their talk, action behind their talk, it is time for them to act and support this bill and get this through Parliament, Mr. Speaker.
00:35:15.760 Last night in North Toronto, a man was shot to death and at least five others were wounded.
00:35:23.760 Three masked men opened gunfire steps away from the Yorkdale Mall.
00:35:27.760 It's not clear if or how many bystanders were hit.
00:35:30.760 The Liberal record on crime is no accident.
00:35:33.760 Liberal bills C5 and C75 put repeat criminals back on the streets, unleashing crime and chaos on the streets of Toronto.
00:35:41.760 Gun crimes more than doubled under the Liberals.
00:35:44.760 The solution is simple.
00:35:46.760 Repeal soft-on-crime Liberal laws.
00:35:48.760 When will the Liberals get serious about deadly shootings in Toronto and across Canada?
00:35:53.760 The Honourable Minister of Public Safety.
00:35:57.760 Mr. Speaker, I'm deeply saddened by the news coming out of the City of Toronto this morning.
00:36:02.760 The gun violence is unacceptable and the perpetrators must be brought to justice.
00:36:07.760 We're partnering with police services across the country to fight organized crime and disrupt firearm smuggling and trafficking operations.
00:36:14.760 The Strong Borders Act introduced in this House yesterday includes provisions to crack down on illegal firearms and organized crime.
00:36:22.760 I look forward to working with the member opposite towards passing this important legislation, Mr. Speaker.
00:36:27.760 We will continue to work tirelessly to support police across Canada.
00:36:32.760 Not a word from the Conservatives all during question period about this Strong Borders Bill and what's actually in it.
00:36:41.760 No.
00:36:42.760 Yeah, it's fine to talk about gun crime.
00:36:45.760 Fine to talk about the fact that Liberals are soft on crime and have been for a decade.
00:36:50.760 It's fine to talk about that.
00:36:51.760 But are they going to support this bill?
00:36:54.760 Are they going to support the Strong Borders Bill?
00:36:57.760 I have a feeling they are going to support it.
00:37:00.760 Just like they said nothing about supporting the World Health Organization's pandemic treaty.
00:37:08.760 Do you think the Conservatives opposed it?
00:37:11.760 No.
00:37:12.760 No.
00:37:13.760 When that came up for discussion a year ago, the Conservatives said nothing in protest.
00:37:19.760 When it was embraced and accepted last month, when Canada automatically became a signatory of the WHO pandemic treaty, the Conservatives said nothing.
00:37:33.760 They have better start opening their mouth about policies that have long-term effects on Canadians, such as the WHO pandemic treaty and the Strong Borders Bill.
00:37:44.760 Because, believe me, if we live in a country where your mail can be opened, where your internet conversations can be monitored, that's not a democracy anymore.
00:37:53.760 That's not a free country.
00:37:55.760 That's an authoritarian regime, at the very least.
00:37:58.760 And that's where Mark Carney is pushing this.
00:38:00.760 I'll be back momentarily with my concluding remarks.
00:38:03.760 Stick around, please.
00:38:04.760 The Prime Minister lied and his minions continue to lie.
00:38:16.760 We need a political change.
00:38:22.760 But we also need to resolve to resist.
00:38:34.760 I did it again, didn't I?
00:38:35.760 Yes.
00:38:36.760 Here.
00:38:46.760 The Prime Minister.
00:38:47.760 It helped me enjoy the method rang of doing trade.
00:38:49.760 I hope that you have the record because I hope you're valid.
00:38:50.760 I'll never leave that way.
00:38:51.760 I don't know before.
00:38:52.760 But, there's a trap about it and you would investigateeurs.
00:38:53.760 I see.
00:38:54.760 See.
00:38:55.760 There's an electronicfilms saying, gosh, one of the things you want to get on point I figure out looking.
00:38:58.760 I'm not going to live at the office and you are feelingall.
00:39:07.760 But, that quant psyche.
00:39:09.760 All or many of the things that I do need to share, share, change your hands and smack with all our LGBIs.

00:40:10.560 is the point of mark carney is to take our freedom away the point of mark carney is to distract us
00:40:18.160 like he's really a conservative he wants a strong defense he wants a strong border he wants affordable
00:40:22.560 housing he wants safe streets he wants all the things that peer polly have talked about during
00:40:27.200 the election campaign except he doesn't and except these are being used as verbal distractions for the
00:40:34.800 real legislative agenda that he has is it a secret agenda to some degree except if you read and if
00:40:43.360 you discover what he's actually up to then it's no longer a secret but this is what mark carney does
00:40:50.960 don't trust him in fact don't trust any politician right now because they're all playing roles they're
