Summary

Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford are in bed together on a lot of issues, but they are certainly in bed with each other on electric cars. The so-called investment that both governments are making in electric cars is corporate welfare. It s the worst kind of profligate spending and it s gambling. It's as much of an investment as a casino is making.

00:00:00.000 Welcome back to another episode of Stand on Guard with David Crayton. I'm your host and I want to
00:00:07.240 talk about something that is crucial to the survival of Canadians in the very country today
00:00:13.620 and you're going to find out what that is in just mere moments.
00:00:20.520 So we are in a very precarious position in this country.
00:00:23.660 We need political change, but we also need to resolve to resist.
00:00:53.660 I'm not saying everything I say is important, but I'm bringing you the news you're not necessarily getting.
00:00:59.520 And I tell you, we'll be discussing later, you know what the reporters are asking Pierre Pauly of right now?
00:01:05.180 It's got nothing to do with reality.
00:01:07.020 But what is crucial to the survival of Canadians in Canada?
00:01:11.980 Having the ability to keep buying gas-powered cars.
00:01:17.640 Electric cars are not the answer.
00:01:20.000 And you can see from this slide here, Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford,
00:01:28.500 they're in bed together on a lot of issues, but they are certainly in bed together on electric cars.
00:01:34.880 And the so-called investment that both governments are making in electric cars.
00:01:41.380 What it is, it's corporate welfare.
00:01:43.780 It's not an investment.
00:01:44.680 It's the worst kind of profligate spending.
00:01:50.200 It's gambling.
00:01:52.100 It's as much of an investment as somebody who goes to a casino is making.
00:01:57.840 If you think that's an investment, that's what this is.
00:02:02.260 It is not an investment because there's going to be not only no return on these tax dollars,
00:02:08.680 and they're gambling with your money.
00:02:10.000 It's going down the drain.
00:02:13.100 You want to know why?
00:02:15.540 It's going down the drain because electric vehicles are not the answer.
00:02:23.780 Electric vehicles are not the answer because there's so many problems with them.
00:02:30.840 The technology is not there.
00:02:32.980 The infrastructure is not there to keep these things powered up and on the road.
00:02:37.600 Even if you're driving around the city, it's going to cost a fortune in your electricity bill to keep these cars on the road.
00:02:46.620 We've got a horror story coming up about a guy who decided to try to take a trip with his electric vehicle,
00:02:53.880 and you'll see what happens.
00:02:56.200 And it's absolutely ridiculous.
00:02:57.780 I want you to have a look at this shot here.
00:03:02.820 You know, this is what's happening to electric vehicles.
00:03:09.580 They're not being bought.
00:03:11.620 They're not being purchased.
00:03:13.380 They're gathering dust on car lots.
00:03:18.440 So this, this is what's happening to electric vehicles.
00:03:24.040 Now, this should, this should concern you if nobody's buying these things.
00:03:29.540 And not only that, the long-term survivability of electric vehicles as an option is very low
00:03:39.640 because we're going to have to strip mine the whole world to find the minerals that make up these batteries.
00:03:48.600 And we're using child labor.
00:03:50.320 I don't say we as a country, but I mean companies and countries like China are using child labor
00:03:56.860 to extract these minerals from the ground because they're not easy to get.
00:04:03.060 And my God, there's a scarcity of them.
00:04:05.280 So we are headed for disaster, and it's all because of ideology.
00:04:12.880 I've made this point several times in the past, that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is driving his Green Deal agenda,
00:04:24.120 his climate change crisis, in the name of ideology.
00:04:29.080 He wants to produce terror, and he wants to force Canadians to do what he wants them to do
00:04:37.180 in the name of environmental ideology.
00:04:41.380 And it's absolutely crazy.
00:04:43.220 I want you to have a look at this here.
00:04:46.940 Excellent column by Toronto Sun editorial pages editor, Laurie Goldstein,
00:04:53.480 who I've talked to over the years.
00:04:55.360 And he documents in this column exactly how much money the government is throwing away on electric vehicles.
00:05:07.940 And we've got, you know, two companies here.
00:05:10.380 Government is absolutely wasting your taxpayer money on.
00:05:18.160 And the thing is, Volkswagen, Volkswagen is actually putting the brakes on making these vehicles in Europe.
00:05:32.920 But the liberal government is going to give them $40 billion in taxpayer money to make these vehicles in Canada
00:05:40.620 that nobody is going to be able to buy, that nobody wants to buy.
00:05:43.800 That's $66,000 a pop.
00:05:49.200 And then, as we'll see in some videos that are coming up, it's all for naught.
00:05:54.720 And this is all about getting rid of the internal combustion engine, believe it or not.
00:06:02.020 That's what this government wants to do.
00:06:03.760 And if we get rid of that, and they're putting all of these regulations to ensure that we can't drive our gas-powered cars anymore,
00:06:10.460 and we're going to be forced to buy these vehicles,
00:06:13.760 it's going to be an economic catastrophe for Canadians.
00:06:19.840 And these companies are actually putting the brakes on producing these cars.
00:06:27.760 They're closing plants.
00:06:28.740 They're stopping.
00:06:29.260 Workers are losing their jobs because these plants are closing.
00:06:32.700 They can't sell these cars.
00:06:33.800 This is how crazy this whole scenario has become.
00:06:40.360 So, please read that column.
00:06:43.900 And I think you're going to find out that Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden in the United States,
00:06:50.440 President Joe Biden, is doing exactly what he shouldn't be doing to foster economic catastrophe.
00:06:59.820 I want you to watch this clip here.
00:07:01.040 It's absolutely fascinating.
00:07:04.740 And it's conservative leader, Pierre Paglia.
00:07:08.900 Now, well, he's finally made the connection that the carbon tax that did nothing to stop forest fires,
00:07:20.380 even though supposedly these forest fires were a direct result of climate change,
00:07:25.120 all of the carbon taxes did nothing to stop these forest fires.
00:07:33.180 All they have done is impoverish Canadians and further enrich the federal government.
00:07:41.660 And don't buy the argument that you're getting it all back.
00:07:44.660 You're not getting it all back.
00:07:46.320 Let's watch this.
00:07:47.500 I'm here in Prince Edward Island for my Axe the Tax Tour.
00:07:54.580 And, boy, is that tour ever timely.
00:07:56.620 Look at Trudeau's tax right there.
00:07:58.520 $185.8.
00:08:01.300 Gas prices have skyrocketed across Atlantic Canada since Trudeau's tax took effect at the beginning of last month.
00:08:10.660 And now the devastating consequences are hitting grocery stores.
00:08:16.220 Just this week, we saw the inflation numbers out.
00:08:20.260 And food inflation was worse in Prince Edward Island than anywhere else.
00:08:25.200 The Atlantic provinces were among the worst anywhere in Canada.
00:08:30.100 That corresponds with the coming into force of the carbon tax.
00:08:35.240 Higher taxes on the farmers who make the food and the truckers who ship the food means higher taxes on all who buy the food.
00:08:44.360 The Trudeau tax...
00:08:45.040 Makes sense, doesn't it?
00:08:46.800 When people have to ship goods using gas-powered vehicles, it's going to cost more money to do so.
00:08:58.720 So the more money Trudeau adds on to the carbon tax, the higher the price of groceries or any consumable good that has to be shipped.
00:09:09.680 And don't for a minute think this is going to be cheaper to do with electric vehicles because it's not.
00:09:14.460 And it's not, by the way, any better for the environment because where do you think the energy for electricity comes from?
00:09:22.860 Now, I've made this point several times.
00:09:25.000 It's not a magic source.
00:09:26.720 It's not some magic green source.
00:09:29.800 So this is all a mirage.
00:09:33.200 Just so Trudeau can stomp on your rights in the name of ideology.
00:09:38.700 And I think Polly is making a very good point here.
00:09:42.300 Tax is a food tax.
00:09:44.460 That's why I announced today to all Prince Edward Islanders and Atlantic Canadians that a Pierre Polyev-led, common-sense, conservative government will axe the tax to bring home lower prices for everyone.
00:09:57.920 Hello, Mr. Polyev.
00:09:59.520 A number of your own comments and actions...
00:10:01.920 Yeah, and watch how insightful the comments and questions are from these reporters, who are nothing more than propagandists for the Trudeau government.
00:10:15.380 ...actions have been characterized as dog whistling to the far right.
00:10:19.380 By who?
00:10:19.720 By a number of different...
00:10:22.180 By who?
00:10:22.420 But I think it's been characterized by that way.
00:10:25.180 By who?
00:10:25.400 But are you trying to court the far right vote?
00:10:26.720 Are you trying to court the far right vote?
00:10:28.280 Sorry, I just need to clarify.
00:10:29.420 By who?
00:10:30.380 By a number of different experts and a number of different people who work in this...
00:10:33.180 Who are the experts?
00:10:34.180 Okay, well, I think it's been established that this is a concern.
00:10:40.640 Are you trying to court the far right vote?
00:10:42.340 Sorry, who are these experts?
00:10:43.980 You say that there are experts who are saying this.
00:10:45.640 Who are they?
00:10:46.540 My question is, are you trying to court the far right vote?
00:10:49.440 I'm sorry, your question seems to be based on a false premise.
00:10:53.580 You can't even tell me who these experts are.
00:10:56.440 It sounds like it's just a CBC smear job.
00:10:59.220 Thank you.
00:11:00.540 But what about the question about whether that's...
00:11:02.800 The answer is that I have a common sense agenda to axe the carbon tax, bring home powerful paychecks,
00:11:09.560 clear the way to build affordable homes to put people in housing that they can afford.
00:11:16.020 That is a common sense, mainstream, Canadian agenda.
00:11:19.900 And I know that Justin Trudeau's supporters are so desperate to distract from that
00:11:24.420 because his political career is falling apart.
00:11:27.460 So we're seeing an attempt here to distract and protect Justin Trudeau
00:11:32.900 from his extremely unpopular carbon taxes and other failing policies.
00:11:37.640 But we won't let him or others distract from that reality.
00:11:42.440 So thank you.
00:11:43.040 So you're not going to answer that question?
00:11:46.020 She doesn't work for CBC, but I do.
00:11:51.240 Kerry Campbell, thank you.
00:11:54.000 Excellent.
00:11:55.040 I loved it.
00:11:56.240 I love it because this illustrates how idiotic so much of the media can be.
00:12:04.700 This is a news conference about the carbon tax.
00:12:07.300 And this reporter decides to be a propagandist for the Trudeau government and to talk about dog whistles,
00:12:14.480 whatever the hell that means, really.
00:12:16.780 I mean, it's just a stupid talking point that most idiots on the left like to talk about.
00:12:21.980 It means absolutely nothing.
00:12:23.520 And what kind of an idiot would want to court the vote of the far right?
00:12:27.440 There's nobody on the far right, the court.
00:12:30.540 There's nobody there to court.
00:12:32.660 Pierre Polyev has already denounced people that he considers to be on the far right,
00:12:39.160 and some of them aren't even on the far right.
00:12:41.420 So what is this reporter talking about?
00:12:43.200 Why would Pierre Polyev be courting the far right?
00:12:47.640 And what relevance does that question have to this news conference,
00:12:50.840 except that the Liberal Party is propagating that lie, that message,
00:12:55.080 that somehow Polyev is infatuated with the far right?
00:12:58.240 This is all such crap.
00:13:00.940 It's all such rubbish and nonsense.
00:13:03.060 And this reporter knows that.
00:13:05.320 How she can even call herself a journalist in good conscience, I have no idea,
00:13:11.100 because she's actively working for the Liberal Party by asking this question.
00:13:15.580 No, Pierre Polyev is not courting the far right.
00:13:19.660 Are they talking about his opposition to the World Economic Forum?
00:13:23.400 Is that far right to oppose the World Economic Forum that wants to take away your freedom?
00:13:28.120 Listen to Klaus Schwab, the director of this damned organization.
00:13:34.380 Listen to him for 20 minutes.
00:13:37.320 And he hangs himself with his words.
00:13:41.100 He talks about incredibly crazy notions of putting computer chips in people's brains
00:13:47.920 so their thoughts can be read before even they know them.
00:13:53.220 He's the one that talks about the Great Reset and exploiting crises.
00:13:58.120 To advance his agenda.
00:14:00.940 They are the ones talking this way.
00:14:04.300 It's the WEF that talks this way.
00:14:09.020 These aren't crazy people in the back rooms talking about ridiculous conspiracies.
00:14:16.920 These ideas, these dangerous ideas are out in the open and are being propagated by
00:14:22.480 the World Economic Forum and Klaus Schwab.
00:14:24.880 People like Justin Trudeau, who is a client of the WEF and has attended the meetings, has been
00:14:34.260 as congratulated by Klaus Schwab as one of his people out there, one of his people in government
00:14:40.120 doing what needs to be done to advance the agenda of the WEF.
00:14:43.820 So let's listen to a bit more about why the electric car vehicle obsession is going to be a disaster.
00:14:56.160 Delbir Bala bought this Ford F-150 Lightning to save on fuel and use cleaner energy.
00:15:03.540 Just 12 hours into his first big road trip with family through the United States, he ditched the electric vehicle.
00:15:09.980 It was towing, finding a towing company, getting towing it over there.
00:15:13.920 Yeah, it was really a nightmare frustration for us.
00:15:16.960 The $115,000 truck has an estimated range of 515 kilometers.
00:15:23.460 Bala planned to power up at fast charging stations between Winnipeg and Chicago.
00:15:28.160 The first charge in Fargo took two hours and cost him $56.
00:15:32.640 Incredible.
00:15:32.980 Travel started at the next stop in Minnesota.
00:15:35.260 It was showing in my screen, faulty connection.
00:15:39.260 Faulty connection.
00:15:40.360 And charge, it was not charged.
00:15:42.160 Running low on battery, Bala headed for the next closest fast charger.
00:15:46.440 That one in Elk River wouldn't work either.
00:15:48.980 He got the EV towed and continued the trip with a gas-powered rental vehicle.
00:15:53.580 That's when we decided that, you know what, we don't want any more distraction or any frustration.
00:15:59.260 EV drivers rely on chargers like this one.
00:16:02.380 It's not known why Bala couldn't get a charge at the first station in Minnesota.
00:16:07.120 The company that runs the charger there says it was working.
00:16:10.640 The other one in Elk River was offline due to maintenance.
00:16:13.920 Some of the reliability of those chargers is less than ideal.
00:16:19.880 Winnipegger Ross Redman owns two EVs and is a member of the Manitoba Electric Vehicle Association.
00:16:25.920 The group says more focus is needed on maintenance and technical support at charging stations.
00:16:30.620 But Redman remains confident in the vehicles.
00:16:33.580 He drove his 2014 Tesla Model S from Vancouver to Winnipeg in December over two days.
00:16:39.860 Shortest charge on the way home from Vancouver was seven minutes.
00:16:43.820 My longest charge was 21 minutes.
00:16:46.260 He stopped at Tesla supercharger stations, which are different than the ones compatible with most other vehicles.
00:16:51.800 Ford of Canada says drivers of its vehicles will get access to Tesla's network of chargers next year and an additional 4,000 fast chargers.
00:17:01.300 That's little comfort to Bala right now.
00:17:03.900 And to have, you know, more than $100,000 of a car to just only drive in the city doing nothing with it, that was not expected.
00:17:12.040 He picked up his truck on the way home from Chicago and is just using it to get to work.
00:17:17.180 But he won't take it on any more long trips anytime soon.
00:17:20.540 So this poor guy buys into the government's propaganda.
00:17:26.500 Yeah, you're going to have an easy time with your electric vehicle.
00:17:29.140 It's going to be cheaper and you're going to be able to recharge all over the place.
00:17:32.660 And he finds out it's a lie.
00:17:35.460 These recharging stations don't work.
00:17:37.920 Okay.
00:17:38.240 Maybe the Tesla ones are working.
00:17:40.500 But everybody doesn't own a Tesla.
00:17:42.180 And he had to get a gas, he had to rent a gas-powered car to get out of this situation he was in being stranded because of his electric vehicle.
00:17:53.740 Now, this is a CBC report.
00:17:55.820 But this reporter obviously has some credibility, integrity, and honesty because he's done an honest report here.
00:18:03.300 And he actually concludes with this other individual saying, you know, it's cold comfort to me to think that maybe someday I can go to a Tesla station because right now I can't even drive this car outside of the city.
00:18:18.020 And he's furious.
00:18:19.140 You know, he bought into this and he was betrayed because it's just a big lie.
00:18:26.460 All of this stuff.
00:18:27.160 So you might ask, how is the government going to force us to stop using our gas-powered car?
00:18:34.100 Why can't we just ignore this electric vehicle obsession and just keep driving gas-powered cars?
00:18:41.700 Well, I'll tell you later, they are this government, this liberal government wants to ban the internal combustion engine.
00:18:49.660 But it's got other ways.
00:18:51.700 And in the U.S., Biden is thinking in the same direction as Trudeau.
00:18:56.540 Listen to this fascinating report here from Charles Payne.
00:18:59.760 This will slow them down because I think it's going to be the greatest economic boondoggle in American history.
00:19:05.240 Yep.
00:19:05.860 Solyndra, all the other stuff, a proverbial drop in the bucket.
00:19:09.500 Right now, EV sales are being lifted by these massive subsidies.
00:19:12.840 But there are so many of them being built.
00:19:15.100 They're piling up.
00:19:15.780 In fact, supply is up 350%.
00:19:17.720 And some just aren't selling.
00:19:19.480 The Genesis, they've got one that sold 18 electric whips.
00:19:22.500 18!
00:19:23.340 Even Tesla.
00:19:24.020 Their whole market share, but they've been slashing prices like crazy.
00:19:26.540 Now, the only way to meet the outrageous targets that they want is to make it a pain in the gas to drive an internal combustion engine car.
00:19:34.060 The administration has such plans on the board, folks.
00:19:36.720 The EPA is going to change tailpipe rules.
00:19:38.900 There's all kinds of other gimmicks.
00:19:40.080 It's going to force you to just ditch your gas-powered car.
00:19:43.000 In the end, there's going to be mountains of unsold cars.
00:19:47.520 I don't know what we're going to do with the lithium batteries.
00:19:49.580 We're going to strip mine the entire planet.
00:19:51.580 The economy, the economic toll will be crazy.
00:19:54.720 Again, remember, mark my words, the worst economic boondoggle ever.
00:19:58.260 And that's why we've invested.
00:20:01.780 Yeah.
00:20:02.620 And you heard it there.
00:20:04.440 And I'm just going to put this hack of a liberal MP on in a minute.
00:20:10.900 And he's going to tell you how it's all going to work.
00:20:12.940 Because, you know, even if all of the disincentives, if you will, all of the basic economic terrorism, regulatory terrorism, that the liberal government and the democratic one in the states is going to use against drivers of gas-powered cars, even if that doesn't work, even if they still can't force gas-powered cars off the road, they've got another thing coming.
00:20:40.760 Yeah, they've got another solution to this.
00:20:43.940 And listen to this MP from Prince Edward Island, the liberal MP, where the price of gas is $1.85.
00:20:52.780 And he just thinks the carbon tax is a great idea.
00:20:56.520 But you know what?
00:20:58.500 He's got a solution.
00:21:02.740 In electric vehicles, in batteries, in the clean fuel standard, the very purpose of the carbon
00:21:10.760 of that is to allow for transportation with less harm to the environment.
00:21:15.660 I have every confidence that industry is going to respond positively.
00:21:20.100 So I don't have any concern whatsoever because I have so much faith in the innovators in this country who are being fueled by the investments that we are making.
00:21:32.780 I mean, there are going to be no internal combustion engines in Canada in 2035.
00:21:36.000 I don't have any concern whatsoever because I have so much faith in the innovators in this country who are being fueled by the investments that we are making.
00:22:00.340 I mean, there are going to be no internal combustion engines in Canada in 2035.
00:22:05.820 Did you know that?
00:22:07.720 That's only 12 years away.
00:22:10.040 And there's not going to be any internal combustion engine.
00:22:12.880 This government is going to ban them.
00:22:15.960 Well, I've got one piece of good news for you.
00:22:21.440 The likelihood of this Trudeau eco-extremist government surviving for another 12 years is highly remote.
00:22:32.540 I think Canadians are going to develop a stronger sense of common sense in those next 12 years.
00:22:39.500 And these plans are going to be put asunder because they're insane, absolutely insane.
00:22:47.840 They get rid of the internal combustion engine.
00:22:50.560 We are all going to be walking and riding bikes.
00:22:54.100 I ride my bike all the time.
00:22:56.600 I can't go from Carleton Place to Ottawa on my bike every day.
00:23:01.520 And I certainly can't drive across the country on my bike.
00:23:06.900 But this is how stupid these climate change fanatics are.
00:23:13.520 In the name of ideology, they would rather have you walk.
00:23:18.660 They would rather have you not have access to a car anymore.
00:23:22.960 Probably not have access to air travel anymore.
00:23:27.920 Because they think it's wrong.
00:23:32.080 They don't think it's good for their ideological plan.
00:23:37.680 So they want to deprive you of that.
00:23:39.860 And they're going to do everything they can to try to do that.
00:23:42.560 They're going to make regulations so ridiculous that your gas-powered car will never meet those expectations.
00:23:50.240 Then they want to ban the engine itself.
00:23:52.280 And do you think the electric vehicle market is going to come in and save that?
00:23:59.920 Probably not.
00:24:01.500 Because we're not going to have the materials to sustain the batteries.
00:24:05.420 And the cost of charging these cars is going to be so prohibitive, we're going to wonder why we can't be paying high gas prices anymore.
00:24:13.860 Because it's going to be worse.
00:24:15.640 So I'm telling you, we have to push back on these idiotic, short-sighted, ideological policies.
00:24:27.460 This is, my God, it's like the Cultural Revolution in China.
00:24:32.340 Yes, it's a bit of an exaggeration, but not quite.
00:24:38.080 Because the Cultural Revolution in China, initiated by dictator Mao Zedong, was all about forcing an ideology on people that didn't work.
00:24:53.340 That was unworkable.
00:24:55.180 And not giving a damn about the human cost of that revolution.
00:25:00.680 That's exactly how liberals are thinking.
00:25:04.020 They don't care.
00:25:05.740 They don't care how much people are going to suffer because of their carbon taxes, because of their climate change hysteria, and because they're going to insist you can't drive your car anymore.
00:25:18.300 They don't care what the human suffering is going to be in that.
00:25:21.740 They don't care if the lights go out, the air conditioning stops in the summer.
00:25:26.440 They don't care if we can't heat our homes anymore, or we're living in caves.
00:25:31.780 As long as their ideological agenda is advanced.
00:25:35.260 That's all Justin Trudeau and his ministers and much of the Liberal Caucus cares about.
00:25:41.200 Thankfully, there's a lot of people in that caucus who are saying, this is insane.
00:25:45.920 We've got to depart from this catastrophic road.
00:25:49.220 So, thankfully, there is some common sense left.
00:25:53.700 But we've got to get rid of this Liberal government.
00:25:56.780 So, these crazy notions, these stupid and ridiculous ideas are not brought into fruition.
00:26:05.380 Because they will mean catastrophe for Canada.
00:26:10.060 Just as they will for the United States.
00:26:12.200 And Europe is pushing back on these green energy goals, these net zero goals.
00:26:18.840 Because they realize they're going to create tremendous human suffering and hardship.
00:26:26.500 And they're not going to work.
00:26:29.280 The technology, the infrastructure is not there to make them work.
00:26:33.360 And you can't force these ideas to happen when there's nothing there to allow them to happen.
00:26:43.160 And so, that's the point.
00:26:45.080 Anyway, thanks for watching today.
00:26:47.200 It's been my second broadcast of the week.
00:26:49.380 Hope you enjoyed this.
00:26:50.580 Thank you again for your comments.
00:26:52.420 You know, people are writing in saying, it's Creighton, you're a breath of fresh air.
00:26:56.700 I hope I am.
00:26:57.560 And thank you for your encouragement, your support.
00:27:02.400 And, you know, thank you for pointing things out to me about the stories that I'm doing.
00:27:09.060 That I can return to.
00:27:12.800 And that are, add the newsworthy content to these stories.
00:27:17.980 And it's invaluable.
00:27:19.680 Your contributions are invaluable.
00:27:22.680 But please, ring that bell.
00:27:24.760 Subscribe.
00:27:25.160 Go to my Substack and have a look at what I'm doing there.
00:27:31.240 You have an opportunity to support me on Substack.
00:27:36.100 I thank you for making this station a success.
00:27:39.640 And we're going to continue to make this station a success as we grow this station every day and every week.
00:27:47.740 As we continue to tell the stories that the mainstream media doesn't want to talk about.
00:27:53.460 They want to talk about dog whistles and courting the right, the far right.
00:28:00.020 They don't want to talk about the craziness inherent in the Trudeau government.
00:28:05.360 And as the liberals decline in the polls, that seems to be what a lot of journalists want to talk about now.
00:28:14.840 Is that somehow now Pauliev's the crazy right-wing lunatic.
00:28:18.980 They used to say that about Stephen Harper.
00:28:20.960 They say that about every conservative leader.
00:28:22.660 Or any small C conservative leader, including Maxime Bernier.
00:28:28.780 He's a crazy lunatic as well.
00:28:31.340 He's a good friend of mine.
00:28:32.840 He's a common sense guy with very good economics.
00:28:36.740 One of the brightest politicians I ever knew.
00:28:38.840 But I'm sick of these liberal politicians and liberal journalists targeting conservatives and making ridiculous allegations and assertions against them because they saw it in the Liberal Party talking points.
00:28:56.040 Anyway, thanks for listening today.
00:28:57.660 We'll be with you again soon with more news, more reports.
00:29:02.620 Keep on watching.
00:29:04.080 Stay optimistic.
00:29:04.900 You can fight back.
00:29:06.880 You can resolve to resist.
00:29:08.360 You can push back.
00:29:10.000 You do matter.
00:29:12.380 Never forget that you as an individual matters in this country.
00:29:17.840 Trudeau can say you don't matter.
00:29:20.260 And he can dismiss you as some kind of crazy right-wing lunatic.
00:29:25.400 He can dismiss you as a white supremacist or a misogynist.
00:29:29.200 But he's the guy that did blackface and has shown nothing but contempt for women all of his political career.
00:29:37.900 And all he ever does is distract from the real issues.
00:29:42.060 Join me again soon.
