Justin Trudeau and Ontario Premier Doug Ford are in bed together on a lot of issues, but they are certainly in bed with each other on electric cars. The so-called investment that both governments are making in electric cars is corporate welfare. It s the worst kind of profligate spending and it s gambling. It's as much of an investment as a casino is making.
00:09:44.460That's why I announced today to all Prince Edward Islanders and Atlantic Canadians that a Pierre Polyev-led, common-sense, conservative government will axe the tax to bring home lower prices for everyone.
00:09:59.520A number of your own comments and actions...
00:10:01.920Yeah, and watch how insightful the comments and questions are from these reporters, who are nothing more than propagandists for the Trudeau government.
00:10:15.380...actions have been characterized as dog whistling to the far right.
00:16:46.260He stopped at Tesla supercharger stations, which are different than the ones compatible with most other vehicles.
00:16:51.800Ford of Canada says drivers of its vehicles will get access to Tesla's network of chargers next year and an additional 4,000 fast chargers.
00:17:01.300That's little comfort to Bala right now.
00:17:03.900And to have, you know, more than $100,000 of a car to just only drive in the city doing nothing with it, that was not expected.
00:17:12.040He picked up his truck on the way home from Chicago and is just using it to get to work.
00:17:17.180But he won't take it on any more long trips anytime soon.
00:17:20.540So this poor guy buys into the government's propaganda.
00:17:26.500Yeah, you're going to have an easy time with your electric vehicle.
00:17:29.140It's going to be cheaper and you're going to be able to recharge all over the place.
00:17:42.180And he had to get a gas, he had to rent a gas-powered car to get out of this situation he was in being stranded because of his electric vehicle.
00:17:55.820But this reporter obviously has some credibility, integrity, and honesty because he's done an honest report here.
00:18:03.300And he actually concludes with this other individual saying, you know, it's cold comfort to me to think that maybe someday I can go to a Tesla station because right now I can't even drive this car outside of the city.
00:19:24.020Their whole market share, but they've been slashing prices like crazy.
00:19:26.540Now, the only way to meet the outrageous targets that they want is to make it a pain in the gas to drive an internal combustion engine car.
00:19:34.060The administration has such plans on the board, folks.
00:19:36.720The EPA is going to change tailpipe rules.
00:20:04.440And I'm just going to put this hack of a liberal MP on in a minute.
00:20:10.900And he's going to tell you how it's all going to work.
00:20:12.940Because, you know, even if all of the disincentives, if you will, all of the basic economic terrorism, regulatory terrorism, that the liberal government and the democratic one in the states is going to use against drivers of gas-powered cars, even if that doesn't work, even if they still can't force gas-powered cars off the road, they've got another thing coming.
00:20:40.760Yeah, they've got another solution to this.
00:20:43.940And listen to this MP from Prince Edward Island, the liberal MP, where the price of gas is $1.85.
00:20:52.780And he just thinks the carbon tax is a great idea.
00:21:02.740In electric vehicles, in batteries, in the clean fuel standard, the very purpose of the carbon
00:21:10.760of that is to allow for transportation with less harm to the environment.
00:21:15.660I have every confidence that industry is going to respond positively.
00:21:20.100So I don't have any concern whatsoever because I have so much faith in the innovators in this country who are being fueled by the investments that we are making.
00:21:32.780I mean, there are going to be no internal combustion engines in Canada in 2035.
00:21:36.000I don't have any concern whatsoever because I have so much faith in the innovators in this country who are being fueled by the investments that we are making.
00:22:00.340I mean, there are going to be no internal combustion engines in Canada in 2035.
00:25:05.740They don't care how much people are going to suffer because of their carbon taxes, because of their climate change hysteria, and because they're going to insist you can't drive your car anymore.
00:25:18.300They don't care what the human suffering is going to be in that.
00:25:21.740They don't care if the lights go out, the air conditioning stops in the summer.
00:25:26.440They don't care if we can't heat our homes anymore, or we're living in caves.
00:25:31.780As long as their ideological agenda is advanced.
00:25:35.260That's all Justin Trudeau and his ministers and much of the Liberal Caucus cares about.
00:25:41.200Thankfully, there's a lot of people in that caucus who are saying, this is insane.
00:25:45.920We've got to depart from this catastrophic road.
00:25:49.220So, thankfully, there is some common sense left.
00:25:53.700But we've got to get rid of this Liberal government.
00:25:56.780So, these crazy notions, these stupid and ridiculous ideas are not brought into fruition.
00:26:05.380Because they will mean catastrophe for Canada.
00:26:10.060Just as they will for the United States.
00:26:12.200And Europe is pushing back on these green energy goals, these net zero goals.
00:26:18.840Because they realize they're going to create tremendous human suffering and hardship.
00:28:32.840He's a common sense guy with very good economics.
00:28:36.740One of the brightest politicians I ever knew.
00:28:38.840But I'm sick of these liberal politicians and liberal journalists targeting conservatives and making ridiculous allegations and assertions against them because they saw it in the Liberal Party talking points.
