Stand on Guard with David Krayden - SOG37： Freedom Trial, Full Ottawa Mob to Testify ｜ Stand on Guard Ep 37

00:00:00.000 So we are in a very precarious position in this country.

00:00:12.060 We need political change, but we also need to resolve to resist.

00:00:16.740 Welcome back to another edition of Stand on Guard.

00:00:29.620 I'm your host, David Crayton, and you're watching the Crayton's Right Channel.

00:00:33.780 Hope you're enjoying your week.

00:00:36.420 The freedom trial, as I call it, resumes this week in Ottawa at the Provincial Courthouse on Elgin Street.

00:00:43.620 I've been there.

00:00:45.160 Been there, done that.

00:00:46.120 Yesterday, the judge decided that all of the witnesses that the prosecution wants to call the so-called aggrieved local residents with all of their hearsay evidence,

00:01:01.340 and that's exactly what the defense attorney, Lawrence Greenspawn, described their evidence as.

00:01:08.200 It's a lot of hearsay.

00:01:09.720 They were asked a few questions.

00:01:11.480 The Crown obviously had to dig pretty deep to find some of these people.

00:01:15.140 Some of them are very questionable.

00:01:18.620 And that's going to necessitate, from what I understand anyway, the defense bringing forth witnesses to dispute what's being said.

00:01:28.720 I think that is something that Mr. Greenspawn is considering.

00:01:33.400 We talked about that earlier in the trial.

00:01:36.540 I asked him how he would react to that, and he said he would have to cross that bridge when he got to it,

00:01:42.300 but he would probably be considering bringing in witnesses of contrary opinion.

00:01:48.160 At the very least, at the very least, this is going to mean a very extensive trial.

00:01:54.760 I'll be back to discuss that in a moment, but I want to share something with you.

00:01:59.380 I'm offering a very special offer on Substack.

00:02:03.540 If you go to my Substack, it's davidcrayton.substack.com,

00:02:06.860 and you can get the entire audiobook of George Orwell's 1984 if you donate $5 or more on Substack.

00:02:18.820 For those of you who have been following this book, it has been an experience because this is the first time I've read it aloud,

00:02:26.180 and it's much like reading Shakespeare a lot.

00:02:28.780 You glean things from the text that you don't necessarily see or hear when you're reading silently.

00:02:37.940 And there are parts of this book that seem so real, such a revelation, so relevant now,

00:02:44.340 because these things have actually come to fruition.

00:02:49.240 And so watch this video, and you will see what I mean.

00:02:54.460 It depends on you.

00:02:59.480 Welcome back to another reading of George Orwell's 1984.

00:03:04.720 Just, I loved Orwell, and wanted to know what made him tick.

00:03:10.100 But this little vignette is obviously recorded just before he died.

00:03:18.460 He did not live much longer after finishing 1984.

00:03:22.700 We're at the end of the novel, chapter 6 of part 3.

00:03:29.720 There's an appendix at the end, which I will be reading as well.

00:03:33.200 But for all intents and purposes, the novel is over today.

00:03:38.080 I am putting together the entire audio book with commentary,

00:03:45.100 and it will be available in about a week for all paid subscribers.

00:03:55.040 And that's at any level, $5 and above.

00:03:59.860 So I think this is something you could really enjoy.

00:04:06.820 And I'm personally very interested to see what the reaction will be,

00:04:10.900 because it's something I'd be prepared for.

00:04:12.500 Yeah.

00:04:12.780 So I'm very, very happy to be offering this.

00:04:16.940 And I'm going to be reading Politics and the English Language,

00:04:21.360 which is a treatise, an essay by George Orwell about what we call talking points today.

00:04:28.420 But at the time, they really didn't have a name.

00:04:31.800 But Orwell had already identified this phenomena of stringing together words and phrases

00:04:38.520 and trying to suggest there's meaning to what you're saying.

00:04:44.180 We call them words, salads, or talking points is what anyone has ever worked in government

00:04:50.240 knows you literally sit down and you write talking points.

00:04:54.740 And I'm going to be talking about this when I read Politics and the English Language.

00:05:00.800 It's not a long, it's not sure, you know, it's not long as a novel, but it's very good.

00:05:05.580 And I think I'll be reading Coming Up for Air as well, which is very, very enjoyable.

00:05:10.280 And it's almost like a precursor to 1984 in many ways.

00:05:16.020 And I welcome your suggestions.

00:05:17.540 You know, anything else you'd like to hear me read that you think is relevant to the times

00:05:24.480 we're living in, I'd be happy to.

00:05:26.140 So anyway, back to the trial.

00:05:28.660 So, you know, they had a police officer up yesterday and he was really testy.

00:05:34.460 You know, he was talking back to the judge.

00:05:37.280 The judge didn't think he had answered a question very well.

00:05:41.060 And he said, I think I answered that question, Your Honor.

00:05:43.980 And he frankly admitted that he had only watched videos that the Crown asked him to watch,

00:05:52.460 that directed him to watch.

00:05:53.860 He was shown videos of Chris Barber again and again saying,

00:06:00.240 please respect the police forces, work with them, listen to them, do not oppose them.

00:06:07.900 And clearly, this was a peaceful demonstration.

00:06:10.820 And he was not telling people to resist the police, to work with them.

00:06:16.300 And they were just doing their job.

00:06:19.420 And of course, their job turned out to be a pretty nasty one after Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act.

00:06:25.920 And so Chris Barber is on trial as well as Tamara Leach.

00:06:31.860 And I spoke to both of them yesterday.

00:06:35.860 They're both very upbeat.

00:06:37.660 You know, they can't talk about specifics in trial.

00:06:40.300 I certainly can quote them.

00:06:42.460 But they were very upbeat.

00:06:44.760 You know, I talked to Tamara at length about a lot of things unrelated to the trial.

00:06:50.300 Life in general, politics in general, the way Western civilization is going here and in the United States.

00:06:57.160 Looming censorship and these sorts of things.

00:06:58.920 A very good conversation.

00:07:00.180 Very positive woman.

00:07:01.220 There's just so much to offer.

00:07:03.180 And I was really happy to talk with her.

00:07:05.960 But we're going to be hearing from a lot of witnesses.

00:07:10.560 And we just started basically today with a, I think it's a rector of a church, the downtown church.

00:07:19.340 It claimed, you know, the horrible violation of space and whatnot.

00:07:25.120 But there's even better coming.

00:07:28.080 And I will be reporting on that as it unfolds.

00:07:31.040 And this is a heck of a time to be in Canada.

00:07:35.780 Because we are facing looming censorship that is going to be unheard of in this country, in any democratic country.

00:07:45.960 It's been tried in Australia.

00:07:47.960 It's being passed right now in the House of Lords and looking for royal assent.

00:07:54.140 It's called the online safety act.

00:07:56.140 It's called the online safety act.

00:07:59.620 Sounds innocuous, doesn't it?

00:08:00.880 It's got nothing to do with safety.

00:08:02.740 Everything to do with repression.

00:08:04.380 And you're disappearing free speech.

00:08:08.660 And that's coming.

00:08:10.300 So we've got to fight this bill.

00:08:12.760 We've got to make sure it doesn't pass before Trudeau is defeated, before the liberal government goes down.

00:08:18.480 The conservatives have already said they will repeal the bill if it is passed.

00:08:24.420 But we cannot let the bill pass.

00:08:28.100 It's that bad.

00:08:29.720 It's that onerous.

00:08:31.120 We have to fight this bill now.

00:08:32.920 Resolve to resist.

00:08:35.320 And that's what we have to do.

00:08:36.600 So I encourage you to study this bill, know it, and fight it.

00:08:42.200 Tell all your friends what it really means.

00:08:45.140 It is going to make disinformation illegal.

00:08:49.640 Whether that's going to mean fines or prison sentences, that's at the discretion of this government,

00:08:55.420 who is also going to define what disinformation is.

00:08:59.000 I'm not kidding you.

00:08:59.960 The bill does not define disinformation.

00:09:03.700 That will be up to every individual case that comes before God knows what, the censorship board, the speech tribunal.

00:09:15.480 What do you think Trudeau is up to here?

00:09:17.420 It is dangerous.

00:09:18.740 But this is why I'm calling it the Freedom Trial, because it's not just Chris Barber and Tamara Leach who are on trial.

00:09:25.560 It's everybody who participated in the Freedom Convoy.

00:09:31.060 Everybody who had their bank account frozen because they donated money or even supported the Freedom Convoy.

00:09:39.300 It's unacceptable in any democratic country.

00:09:43.820 Unacceptable in Canada.

00:09:46.120 So we're going to continue to watch this trial because it is important.

00:09:50.620 There's not a lot of reporters there.

00:09:52.260 I can count them on one hand, the number of reporters who are covering this on a day-to-day basis.

00:09:57.720 And it's really one of the most important trials we've ever had in Canada.

00:10:04.260 It really is.

00:10:05.600 Now I want to talk about something else here, and I've got a video to show you.

00:10:10.240 But there's another One Million March for Children coming up very shortly.

00:10:19.580 It's actually in just over a week.

00:10:22.560 October 21st.

00:10:25.660 And everything starts at noon.

00:10:29.360 And you want to be at the same place you were last time if you participated.

00:10:33.540 If you're in Ottawa, that's Parliament Hill.

00:10:35.560 If you're in a provincial capital, that's your legislature.

00:10:38.060 It's the mayor's office if you're in a town or a city.

00:10:43.940 That's not a capital.

00:10:45.600 And this is going to be another tremendous experience.

00:10:49.020 But there are people who don't want this march to happen. 0.99

00:10:54.660 The same idiots at the Canadian Union of Public Employees that tried to disrupt the last march 0.99

00:11:02.360 by basically recruiting Antifa and anarchists and people waving their LGBTQ pride flags 1.00

00:11:13.020 in the faces of parents and children.

00:11:16.000 They wanted to disrupt it.

00:11:17.560 And they're saying now that this march isn't going to happen.

00:11:20.440 And there are people who want to sow discord amongst the various faiths that are involved.

00:11:27.540 This is all faiths.

00:11:29.940 There's a lot of different faiths here.

00:11:32.040 And I managed to write a story about the atrocities that are occurring in Israel

00:11:40.060 because of a terrorist group called Hamas without once mentioning the word Muslim 0.99

00:11:47.640 because those people are monsters. 0.99

00:11:51.420 And any good Muslim will tell you that they're not practicing any kind of Muslim religion that they know. 1.00

00:11:58.280 And this is not the time to start tarring all Muslims with the same brush and suggesting they're all terrorists. 1.00

00:12:09.160 Those bastards who are murdering innocent women and children are terrorists. 1.00

00:12:15.900 Even the Canadian government recognizes that. 1.00

00:12:18.700 Maybe some union goofs don't recognize that. 1.00

00:12:23.060 But they're nuts. 0.99

00:12:24.520 And that activity, that behavior, those crimes have to be condemned. 0.97

00:12:31.660 But we need to keep the religious unity in this country together

00:12:37.240 because we're all fighting for the same thing.

00:12:39.920 And that's parental rights.

00:12:41.260 And that's the right to raise your child, your children,

00:12:45.400 in the religion, in the traditions, in the way that you see fit to do.

00:12:52.300 Not the state.

00:12:53.420 That is the issue here.

00:12:55.560 So nobody had better bring their other issues to this million-person march.

00:13:01.000 Nobody had better bring flags promoting anything except Canada.

00:13:07.480 Nobody had better bring their disputes to this march.

00:13:12.640 It's about children.

00:13:14.140 It's not about what's going on in Israel.

00:13:19.780 We are all condemning that.

00:13:21.440 And I've condemned it vociferously.

00:13:25.220 I have been a foe of Holocaust deniers and anti-Semites my entire life.

00:13:31.780 And I will remain so.

00:13:34.540 And I have been a foe of terrorist groups like Hamas and ISIS and others

00:13:41.000 that think they're practicing a religion but are practicing criminality.

00:13:47.140 So that's what I want you to listen to this Zoom call that was arranged by Odessa,

00:13:56.260 who is the woman who released the Zoom call about the unions trying to disrupt the million-person march for children.

00:14:08.800 So just let's give a listen to this.

00:14:10.940 Weird cult that's come in and our kids are coming home and you know your kid more than anyone in the world.

00:14:17.400 Anyone that says the school knows your kid better.

00:14:19.920 I know when my kid is actually saying stuff to get attention.

00:14:24.160 I know when my kid is telling me stuff to manipulate me.

00:14:27.880 I know when my kid is lying to me.

00:14:29.780 I know when my kid is being authentic.

00:14:31.900 So to have some random principle say we know you better than your parents,

00:14:38.060 they don't want kids telling their parents things.

00:14:41.420 A gender-neutral washroom.

00:14:43.120 I don't want any guys or a male entering a female or a girl's washroom. 1.00

00:14:48.060 End of story.

00:14:48.660 I got an 11-year-old daughter, right?

00:14:51.680 Like, you know, and especially, like, you know.

00:14:53.740 You got to pause there just for a second.

00:14:56.260 You remember when all of this transgender stuff started, we called it the bathroom bill. 1.00

00:15:03.660 Because we said, well, isn't this going to mean that some man, biological man,

00:15:08.980 who thinks he's a woman can enter into a female change room and just watch? 1.00

00:15:16.680 And, of course, the proponents of the bathroom bill, as we called it, said, no, it's never going to happen.

00:15:24.940 That's not what this bill is about.

00:15:26.400 That's just a horrible thing to say.

00:15:28.680 And, of course, that's exactly what is happening all over the United States and Canada now.

00:15:34.340 Sickos are doing exactly that. 1.00

00:15:38.720 So worth noting. 0.51

00:15:40.760 Like, you know, if my daughter doesn't feel safe going to the washroom, what else?

00:15:46.780 Like, and they all recommend, like, you know, schools are safe.

00:15:49.820 Schools, their washroom aren't even safe.

00:15:51.960 But I think what's happening is more and more the parents are going, why is my nine-year-old coming home and saying,

00:15:58.260 I'm a boy daddy or I'm a girl daddy or I'm a pan blah, blah, blah daddy.

00:16:03.820 Because we learned in school today and that's what I picked.

00:16:07.280 And they're like, you shouldn't even be thinking about any of this until you're older.

00:16:13.020 There's over a thousand people and even over hundreds of people every single day in Abbotsford out on the street.

00:16:20.140 So they can come talk to us.

00:16:21.340 We're inviting every politician on the 21st, regardless if they're NDP, PC, Liberal, whatever their background is.

00:16:28.080 We're inviting every single politician because they're public servant. 0.97

00:16:31.620 We are the one that is paying them.

00:16:33.960 They're getting paid by our tax dollars.

00:16:36.140 So they're actually our employees in a good sense, right?

00:16:39.700 So they should come talk to us.

00:16:41.440 They should tell why it's good, why.

00:16:43.400 Like if we are confused, talk to us.

00:16:45.820 None of the school trustee listen to us.

00:16:47.400 None of the superintendent, none of the teachers, none of the principal.

00:16:50.740 And then every politics party say that we have a way to raise our voice.

00:16:56.980 We don't know where to go.

00:16:58.380 They say, go talk to your school trustee.

00:16:59.860 Guess what?

00:17:00.300 They don't even let us in.

00:17:01.760 Go talk to your teacher.

00:17:02.740 Teacher doesn't want to talk to you. 0.89

00:17:04.540 They're already frustrated.

00:17:05.580 Anytime you talk to a principal, the best thing that they have, oh, you're abusing me.

00:17:11.620 I was like, so if I'm asking a question, I'm abusing you.

00:17:14.460 I'm threatening you. 0.74

00:17:16.420 I'm discriminating you.

00:17:17.840 All those words.

00:17:18.700 And it just feels like, you know, we are just always hitting the dead wall.

00:17:22.040 So Raj is really hitting the nail on the head, of course.

00:17:27.800 Now, look at this group, though.

00:17:29.000 Isn't this a diverse group of people?

00:17:31.860 Isn't Justin Trudeau the one who's always saying diversity is our strength?

00:17:36.120 Diversity is no longer his strength because all of these diverse people are saying, hey, 1.00

00:17:40.780 you know, we have a lot in common and it's not the Liberal Party anymore.

00:17:44.980 What we have in common is a love for our children and a belief that families raise children,

00:17:50.620 not the state.

00:17:51.180 That's sacrosanct.

00:17:53.160 That's part of Western civilization.

00:17:55.860 I mean, you can go back to the Magna Carta in terms of the beginning, the formulation of

00:18:00.680 individual rights.

00:18:02.160 But the idea that the family raises your children, not the state, not the government, that goes

00:18:06.500 way back millennia.

00:18:08.960 And Raj is right on.

00:18:11.460 Nana Republic.

00:18:13.060 More and more weirdos are coming into the school. 0.99

00:18:15.300 I'm not talking about your average gay teacher. 0.99

00:18:17.640 More and more weirdos with problems here are coming into the school to teach our kids. 0.98

00:18:25.880 And it's those ones that are causing problems for maybe the great teachers who aren't crossing 0.99

00:18:31.240 the line.

00:18:31.680 But we've been given our teachers have been given free reign.

00:18:35.680 Our principals have been free reign to use these resources and stuff is being slipped into

00:18:41.320 the library.

00:18:42.440 And the teachers need the parents need to say, wait a second here.

00:18:46.380 This banana republic needs to slow down.

00:18:49.680 We're watching you.

00:18:51.060 And it's because of the way the parents have been treated at these meetings, why Million

00:18:56.820 Person March was able to exist.

00:18:58.880 Yeah.

00:19:00.160 Now, that was, of course, Odessa Orlowitz.

00:19:06.200 We have been following each other on Twitter, formerly known as Twitter, X, as it's known now

00:19:13.460 for years.

00:19:15.120 She does tremendous work.

00:19:18.900 And it's volunteer that she does tremendous, tremendous work on behalf of individuals, on

00:19:26.640 behalf of individual rights, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and parental rights right

00:19:32.560 now.

00:19:32.820 She's fighting for you and I and everyone who thinks parents matter. 0.99

00:19:39.620 So there will be another March on October 21st.

00:19:46.240 Yes, there will.

00:19:47.960 And as I said before, we're not going to let the problems of the world interfere with the

00:19:54.260 need in Canada to assert parental rights and to save our children from gender ideology

00:20:01.460 and political indoctrination in the classroom.

00:20:05.260 Nothing is going to stop me in that mission, in that objective.

00:20:11.200 I'm continuing to fight for that.

00:20:12.680 So are my friends from all faiths, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Jewish, Buddhist, whoever,

00:20:25.720 anyone who thinks parents matter.
