00:00:00.000 We'll be right back.
00:00:30.000 We hope you enjoyed that.
00:00:36.620 That was Tamara Leach. 1.00
00:00:37.960 And you thought she was only a fighter for freedom and a fantastic Canadian. 1.00
00:00:43.940 But she's also a great singer, guitar player, and performer.
00:00:48.400 And she was at Niagara-on-the-Lakes Saturday night to sing that song and others.
00:00:54.080 And I tell you, the response was incredible.
00:00:58.280 And I'm so proud of Tamara for doing that.
00:01:01.460 And there's nothing like a musical triumph.
00:01:03.540 And that's what that was.
00:01:04.660 But I'll be back in a minute to tell you more about that concert.
00:01:09.000 And more about day 28 of the Freedom Convoy trial.
00:01:11.920 So we are in a very precarious position in this country.
00:01:17.460 We need political change.
00:01:19.740 But we also need to resolve to resist.
00:01:22.040 Hey, take Sasha's direction.
00:01:34.200 That's Sasha, my cat, ringing the bell.
00:01:36.600 Please ring the bell.
00:01:37.980 And please like this broadcast right now.
00:01:40.340 I know you've been coming through for me in the last few broadcasts.
00:01:44.000 Thank you so much for your support.
00:01:46.360 And keep supporting this station.
00:01:47.900 And subscribe if you haven't already.
00:01:50.960 You know, our mandate is to get $15,000.
00:01:54.860 That is our goal.
00:01:55.700 That is our objective.
00:01:56.760 $15,000 by Christmas.
00:01:58.040 We're almost there.
00:01:58.960 We can do it with your help.
00:02:01.060 Support us in any way you can.
00:02:03.140 But tell your friends about it.
00:02:04.560 Share the station with your friends and your family.
00:02:06.420 We need more people to watch this, to get on board, to resolve, to resist.
00:02:11.680 We need your supports.
00:02:13.400 And thank you so much for doing that.
00:02:14.860 And here we are on day 28, day 28 of the Freedom Convoy Trial against Tamara Leach and Chris Barber.
00:02:24.740 And let's not forget Chris.
00:02:26.120 Chris has been steadfast in this fight, too.
00:02:29.020 Both of them happened to be there at the Freedom Convoy Trial and did their best to organize events.
00:02:37.940 But it was an organic movement.
00:02:40.200 And let me tell you, after 28 days, 28 days, the prosecution has utterly failed to demonstrate that either of these two did anything except encourage people to peacefully protest, to cooperate with the police, to not disturb the residents of Ottawa.
00:03:02.500 And these were the videos the prosecution were playing over and over and over again.
00:03:08.140 So they arrested their case last week.
00:03:10.800 After about a three-week hiatus, we're back again on Monday today.
00:03:17.020 This is day 28.
00:03:18.420 And it's hard to believe.
00:03:19.240 This thing started around Labor Day, the week after the Labor Day long weekend.
00:03:25.660 This is when it started.
00:03:26.680 The weather was still like summer.
00:03:28.080 And here we are.
00:03:29.860 It was snowing today in Ottawa.
00:03:32.360 And we're entering the winter phase of the seasons.
00:03:37.600 And this trial is still going on.
00:03:40.280 Clearly, they're trying to wear down Tamara and Chris.
00:03:44.400 They're trying to wear them down.
00:03:46.020 But thank God, you know, they are getting support from Canadians like you and I, who are willing to say, these people stuck their necks out for Canada to fight these ridiculous COVID-19 mandates, these authoritarian COVID-19 mandates.
00:04:03.220 They took the risk.
00:04:05.800 And people want to support them now in any way they can.
00:04:09.900 And that is absolutely wonderful because these people are freedom fighters.
00:04:16.840 But the state wants to wear them down.
00:04:19.580 And I want you to watch a clip from Tamara's concert before she sang.
00:04:24.440 She spoke for quite a while, you know, and it's quite interesting.
00:04:28.040 I just want you to listen to what she said here because it's not just touching and poignant.
00:04:34.560 It's very profound.
00:04:36.300 And I think you'll enjoy this.
00:04:37.460 You can't make me cry because I still have to sing some songs.
00:04:44.980 I don't know if you know how hard that is to sing and cry at the same time.
00:04:49.500 Thank you so much.
00:04:50.880 Wow.
00:04:55.480 It's so great to be here, you guys.
00:04:58.200 We have been so excited about coming to do this for a long time.
00:05:02.160 Daniel asked me months and months and months ago if we could come and play here.
00:05:06.920 And I always said, absolutely.
00:05:10.620 Because one of the things that brings us together is music, you know.
00:05:14.380 And it just seems so fitting to me that after the unity that we saw happen in Ottawa, you know, that we can come together and do something like this and celebrate together.
00:05:24.780 And it's another just part of me that I get to share with you.
00:05:28.120 So definitely have to say a big thank you to Daniel and Giacomo and New World Sun who we get to play with tonight.
00:05:38.340 Wow.
00:05:38.860 And obviously, thank you for all you guys for coming.
00:05:45.160 I know Rebel News is here.
00:05:47.520 Well, I'm not sure where they're at, but they're here somewhere.
00:05:50.680 And they've been very amazing to me.
00:05:53.020 They've helped me write a book.
00:05:54.400 As you know, the Democracy Fund is helping us with my legal fees for my criminal trial, which goes into day 28 on Monday.
00:06:04.920 Anyway, 28 days to try and prove mischief.
00:06:09.400 I think this has got to be the longest mischief trial of all time.
00:06:13.960 I'm pretty sure it is anyway.
00:06:17.500 And of course, before I go any further, there's a couple people in the audience that I definitely need to acknowledge tonight that were with us on the ground in Ottawa.
00:06:29.040 And of course, you know, we didn't really know what to expect when we got there.
00:06:33.140 However, I knew or felt, you know, as these donations were coming in and it was like a million dollars.
00:06:42.740 And the next day they're like, bump it, it's another million dollars.
00:06:45.860 Wow.
00:06:47.360 Canadians donated over $10 million twice in less than eight weeks, by the way.
00:06:54.120 Yeah.
00:06:56.080 Fringe minority, right? 0.88
00:06:57.820 Right.
00:07:03.140 But it was just so, I mean, the support that we had.
00:07:07.560 And even in that, and I remember saying to this gentleman, you know, this was never about the money.
00:07:12.700 This was the statement behind the money.
00:07:14.880 And that's what scared them so bad.
00:07:16.880 But back to my point.
00:07:18.020 I think, I think the number that I was told was there's approximately 138,000 lawyers in Ottawa, or sorry, in all of Canada.
00:07:29.460 And we had a couple of the best ones that showed up in Ottawa with us, stood beside us on the ground.
00:07:36.500 And the reason I bring up the millions is because, you know, I'm thinking this is great.
00:07:40.340 But every time I have to bump it up, I'd get a little bit sicker because I thought, when you start talking about millions of dollars, lawyers are coming.
00:07:47.300 In this case, it was good.
00:07:50.000 If I could just have Keith Wilson stand up, please.
00:07:54.060 There he is.
00:08:01.580 Yes.
00:08:06.360 He's been a great friend.
00:08:08.280 He's been an amazing lawyer.
00:08:09.940 He has done this from the good of his heart.
00:08:11.820 He's sacrificed just as much as the rest of us.
00:08:17.040 And I'm just, thank you, Keith.
00:08:18.780 And, of course, his lovely wife, Donna.
00:08:23.860 There's an excerpt from Tamara Leach's speech before she began singing.
00:08:30.060 And we want to thank Rebel News for live streaming that.
00:08:33.040 Of course, they've done so much to help out Tamara Leach.
00:08:36.620 And I don't mind giving credit to it, competing news media, because we're all in this together as independent or new media.
00:08:47.360 And Ezra Levant's an old friend.
00:08:49.700 And he's done a marvelous job of promoting the work of the Freedom Convoy during the Freedom Convoy.
00:08:56.580 Rebel News was there on scene, as was I, as were a few other new and independent media that were there to cover the protest.
00:09:06.240 And we're there right now to cover the trial, because this is very important.
00:09:13.020 It's important to cover the trial because, as Tamara points out, 28 days to find evidence of mischief.
00:09:20.560 And they haven't done so.
00:09:23.300 And as she says, it wasn't about the money.
00:09:25.340 I mean, believe me, I know everybody connected with this protest.
00:09:31.140 They've gotten nothing out of this financially.
00:09:33.480 They have been punished by an authoritarian state, municipal, provincial, and federal.
00:09:41.740 They have taken their lumps from government and from the state.
00:09:46.220 And why do you think this trial has gone on so long?
00:09:49.440 I mean, as Tamara points out in another section of her speech, Chinese election interference, no big deal.
00:09:58.140 It doesn't go punished.
00:10:00.940 We've gone through one special rapporteur.
00:10:04.220 We have a justice looking at it right now.
00:10:06.380 Hasn't reported back.
00:10:08.360 That can wait.
00:10:10.520 But two people involved in a peaceful protest, put them through hell.
00:10:15.440 And then make sure other Canadians don't get the good idea that they should be protesting Justin Trudeau's policies,
00:10:23.200 or else you're going to get the full weight of the justice system on your neck, on your back.
00:10:28.920 That's the lesson here.
00:10:31.260 This is exactly what's happened in the U.S. with the January 6th so-called insurrection.
00:10:36.760 Peaceful protesters who just walked into the Capitol building ended up getting time in jail without bail.
00:10:46.860 They spent months without even going to trial.
00:10:49.640 And when they went to trial, some of them got years just for peaceful protesting and all the lies that came out of that protest.
00:10:57.620 At least nobody's claimed the Freedom Convoy protest in Canada was responsible for the deaths of any police officers or anybody else.
00:11:09.480 I'm surprised nobody has tried to make that outrageous claim in Canada because they've made that claim in the States.
00:11:17.280 But I am just so proud of everybody who has gone through this experience.
00:11:24.140 And, you know, Tamara, I talked to her today and I said, you know, congratulations on your musical triumph.
00:11:32.440 And it's a musical interest I share with her.
00:11:35.940 My music is not exactly the kind of music she's performing.
00:11:41.980 I'm into the jazz in the lounge.
00:11:44.700 And that is probably my first love.
00:11:48.120 And she says music unites us and it does.
00:11:50.960 But, you know, the Trudeau government is not interested in uniting Canadians.
00:11:56.320 It's interested in dividing and conquering.
00:11:59.500 It's interested in subdividing our population up into identity politics.
00:12:04.380 So everybody's fighting amongst themselves.
00:12:07.640 Trudeau exploits division.
00:12:09.720 Trudeau exploits crises.
00:12:11.080 He's always talking about the reset and the opportunity a crisis affords him to divide Canadians so the Liberal Party can take over and keep and retain power.
00:12:27.560 And that's all this is about.
00:12:29.520 Justin Trudeau wants to retain power.
00:12:31.220 But I tell you, the Freedom Convoy trial is illustrating how bad the case against Tamara Leach and Chris Barber actually is.
00:12:45.600 And I will be there to continue to report on the trial as it unfolds.
00:12:50.260 I don't care how long they want to continue this.
00:12:52.440 But today there was, they were talking about the Carter application.
00:12:58.860 And unless you're a legal analyst, a legal expert, it's not terribly interesting to most viewers and readers.
00:13:06.800 Because what the defense is trying to prove is that the prosecution cannot make Tamara and Chris one body, that they acted in unison, that they acted together, that they weren't independent personalities.
00:13:26.220 That's at the root of the Carter application in what the defense is trying to prove here.
00:13:32.600 That there was no conspiracy, that they cannot be said to have acted in tandem every time one of them spoke.
00:13:40.560 And that's what the prosecution, one of the arguments the prosecution is using to prove that they committed mischief and they counseled to commit mischief.
00:13:49.720 The whole case, of course, is just falling apart every time this trial proceeds.
00:13:57.560 But it's quite interesting.
00:13:59.140 I wanted to touch on one other matter today.
00:14:02.860 And that's, these are big events.
00:14:05.020 We're expecting, actually, an official announcement from Alberta Premier Danielle Smith that she is going to use the Alberta Sovereignty Act to stymie the federal government's insane dictate for net zero electricity.
00:14:25.420 Because Alberta doesn't have hydroelectricity.
00:14:28.420 They don't have the kind of water that Quebec and Ontario has.
00:14:34.400 So they cannot rely on hydroelectricity.
00:14:37.980 So Alberta is saying it's not fair.
00:14:41.300 This is a double standard.
00:14:43.760 And our people are going to be cost-paying so much money to heat their homes in the winter, or they're going to be freezing because of Ottawa's discriminatory policies.
00:14:54.600 So, expect Danielle Smith to invoke the Alberta Sovereignty Act, which says we have provincial rights and to hell with federal usurpation of those rights. 1.00
00:15:07.460 Here's a brief clip from Danielle.
00:15:09.420 He doesn't seem to care about the law, doesn't care about the Constitution.
00:15:12.360 I do.
00:15:12.780 And we're going to make sure that we assert that.
00:15:17.760 Now, she's talking about Stephen Gilbeau, of course.
00:15:20.900 And I told you last week how Stephen Gilbeau is going to the United Nations for a treaty to ban single-use plastics.
00:15:32.720 Because the federal court in Canada overruled Trudeau's single-use plastics policy, the cabinet order that came out banning all single-use plastics.
00:15:42.180 The federal court said that was unreasonable and unconstitutional.
00:15:46.740 But Gilbeau, if left to his own devices, will ride roughshod over your constitutional rights and provincial rights because he ignores any decisions from courts he doesn't like.
00:15:57.860 And he is basically still a Greenpeace activist, calling himself a proud socialist.
00:16:03.320 I think he's also a proud Marxist.
00:16:05.140 And I think he's working against the interests of Canada.
00:16:08.560 And his plan is catastrophic.
00:16:12.380 He is working in tandem with Justin Trudeau to destroy Canada.
00:16:17.800 Anyway, thanks for watching today.
00:16:19.800 We will be continuing to report on the Freedom Convoy trial as it unfolds.
00:16:26.200 And take heart, because we are resolving to resist.
00:16:30.980 We are continuing to fight back.
00:16:34.120 Ring that bell.
00:16:37.100 Subscribe.
00:16:39.720 Support this station.
00:16:42.600 And like this station, as I said at the beginning.
00:16:46.640 We're going to beat Trudeau's censorship.
00:16:48.980 We are going to beat Trudeau's attempts to shut us down.
00:16:52.920 To shut down independent media.
00:16:54.640 To shut down new media.
00:16:56.320 To stymie us.
00:16:57.720 To stifle us.
00:16:58.920 To silence us.
00:17:00.040 We're not going to let Justin Trudeau do that.
00:17:04.120 We still have freedom of speech in this country.
00:17:07.480 And Trudeau is not going to take that away from us.
00:17:10.000 Thanks for listening today.
00:17:11.820 I'm your host, David Creighton.
00:17:13.580 And God bless you.
00:17:14.720 Hi, this is David Creighton from Creighton's Right and Stand on Guard.
00:17:20.040 Join the resistance.
00:17:22.220 Resolve to resist.

00:17:25.520 I've been practicing journalism in one form or another for over 30 years.

00:17:38.560 I was an Armed Forces Public Affairs Officer.
00:17:41.300 I've worked in Parliament Hill.
00:17:43.380 I know how Ottawa works.
00:17:45.620 And I know how corrupt federal government can be.
00:17:49.800 But you can play a part in opposing Justin Trudeau's government.
00:17:55.940 And Justin Trudeau's plans for Canada.

00:18:17.740 You'll beat the algorithm.
00:18:19.240 But more importantly, I need your financial support.
00:18:23.720 I hate to ask, but that's what I'm doing.
00:18:26.160 Look, I made a decision to pursue independent media because I believe it was the best possible route for me to take as a journalist and as a concerned citizen of Canada.
