00:00:00.000 Welcome to a special Sunday edition of Stand on Guard.
00:00:04.720 I'm your host, David Creighton, and we're going to explain how Justin Trudeau is losing
00:00:10.080 his head again over a lot of crazy issues.
00:00:15.500 We'll be right back at you.
00:00:17.940 So we are in a very precarious position in this country.
00:00:22.180 We need political change, but we also need to resolve to resist.
00:00:30.000 Thank you, Sasha.
00:00:38.540 And like Sasha says, ring that bell.
00:00:42.000 Please subscribe.
00:00:43.840 Share this station with your friends and your family.
00:00:47.440 We've got to beat that algorithm.
00:00:49.440 And actually, we did it with the last broadcast.
00:00:51.660 Thank you so much for sharing and liking.
00:00:54.220 I'm telling you right now because I'm always being told, don't forget to tell your dear
00:00:58.400 listeners and viewers to like the broadcast at the beginning of the broadcast, not the
00:01:06.040 end, which I always tend to do.
00:01:08.060 Thanks very much for watching today.
00:01:10.140 I hope your weekend was wonderful and we're all back to work Monday.
00:01:15.980 And work never really ends when you're in the news business, does it?
00:01:18.920 It really doesn't.
00:01:21.380 But so what's Trudeau up to now?
00:01:22.800 Well, I was talking last time about this hastily organized summit in St.
00:01:30.140 John's, Newfoundland, between Canada and the European Union countries.
00:01:34.580 They're talking about censorship and COVID-19, other imaginary pandemic.
00:01:40.740 And they're talking about greenhouse gases.
00:01:45.500 You know, climate change is really up there.
00:01:48.640 But Trudeau took the opportunity to blame all of his problems, but more specifically to
00:01:57.320 blame MAGA Republicans.
00:02:00.660 Yes, MAGA Republicans are, for the Conservative Party in Canada, not supporting Trudeau's free
00:02:09.220 trade deal with the Ukrainians.
00:02:14.000 Uh-huh.
00:02:14.640 How does that compute?
00:02:16.500 I don't get it.
00:02:17.700 Well, he doesn't either.
00:02:18.880 Let's just listen to him here as he struggles to explain.
00:02:22.600 The final story is the rise of a right-wing American MAGA-influenced thinking that has
00:02:32.720 made Canadian conservatives, who used to be among the strongest defenders of Ukraine,
00:02:39.440 and I'll admit it, turn their backs on something Ukraine needs in its hour of need.
00:02:46.000 That is the danger of the rise of the right-wing influence that is feeling its impact in Canada.
00:02:54.440 That's what not just Ukrainian Canadians, but all Canadians should be concerned about.
00:02:59.960 Ukraine continues to need support for their defense.
00:03:04.600 That's why today I'm announcing that Canada is donating over 11,000 assault rifles and over
00:03:10.980 9 million rounds of ammunition.
00:03:13.340 Oh, Lee, you know what?
00:03:18.320 11,000?
00:03:21.080 Come on.
00:03:22.800 Assault rifles?
00:03:24.460 More equipment that's going to go into the black hole of Kiev.
00:03:29.860 Yes, that's where it's all going.
00:03:32.940 And where does he get off suggesting that Polyev and the conservatives are somehow beholden to
00:03:38.180 MAGA, U.S.-style politicians, Trump supporters?
00:03:44.160 What is this?
00:03:45.100 This is nonsense.
00:03:46.080 I mean, I happen to support a lot of the things MAGA stands for, and I happen to think Donald
00:03:52.680 Trump was a much better president than Joe Biden.
00:03:55.460 But if I'm opposed to the war in Ukraine and giving Ukraine a blank check every time they 0.78
00:04:01.680 put their hand out, it's because I think it's a hopeless struggle.
00:04:05.200 It's a hopeless war.
00:04:06.140 And we can't afford any more buyouts.
00:04:11.440 And a free trade agreement at this stage with a regime that's teetering on the brink of collapse
00:04:19.120 that is so corrupt, all of its top leaders are making plans to leave the country when
00:04:26.200 the war is over and they're defeated with a bundle of money.
00:04:29.800 We've sent billions.
00:04:30.680 We have no idea how much of that has actually gone into so-called humanitarian assistance
00:04:36.240 and how much has gone in the pockets of the politicians and the oligarchs, probably most of it.
00:04:42.960 And a lot of these arms we're sending them, or they're buying, are being sold to third parties.
00:04:50.880 And that which we have given them has been obliterated by the Russian army.
00:04:56.200 I don't think Canada has a single leopard tank left.
00:04:58.820 We've given them all to Ukraine, and they have promptly seen them all destroyed on the 1.00
00:05:03.440 battlefield.
00:05:04.200 Hundreds of thousands of young Ukrainian men have died.
00:05:07.360 Now they're using middle-aged men and women in this conflict.
00:05:10.920 And Ukraine is not going to win.
00:05:12.700 And we're not in it for as long as it takes, because the war is going to be over.
00:05:16.320 So Trudeau is just consistently blaming mythical enemies, not only because the conservatives said,
00:05:26.780 no, we're not going to support a free trade agreement that you've stuck a carbon tax into.
00:05:32.340 And because a free trade agreement at this point is absolutely a farce.
00:05:38.100 It's going to do absolutely nobody any good.
00:05:40.340 And besides, we have literal free trade with Ukraine, don't we?
00:05:44.300 We just keep giving them money in armaments.
00:05:46.700 That's the free trade agreement we already have with Ukraine.
00:05:49.640 So this is nonsense.
00:05:51.520 Trudeau knows this.
00:05:52.660 But here is one of the pitfalls of the Liberal Party, an MP, Liberal MP from the Kingston area,
00:06:01.480 who never has an intelligent thing to say.
00:06:04.040 And just listen to him here.
00:06:07.080 Thank you very much.
00:06:08.200 And, you know, I think what Canadians really need to reflect on right now is where Mr.
00:06:13.060 Polyef has taken the Conservative Party of Canada. 0.82
00:06:15.260 We have now seen, not once but twice in the last two days, the importation of this far-right-wing,
00:06:23.140 American-style politics that's traditionally been occupied in the space of the MAGA movement.
00:06:28.840 We're now seeing this being imported into Canada.
00:06:31.640 Why on earth would the Conservative Party of Canada and their MPs turn their back on Ukraine right now in their time of need?
00:06:39.900 It can be explained by nothing other than the importation of far-right politics written by the hand of somebody like Tucker Carlson.
00:06:49.060 I strongly encourage all Canadians to reflect on this.
00:06:52.420 We are at a pivotal point in our democratic process, our democratic institution right now,
00:06:57.200 where we're seeing a pivotal shift.
00:06:59.640 And it's something that we seriously need to reflect on.
00:07:01.920 Oh, that's even better, isn't it?
00:07:05.620 Tucker Carlson's to blame for this far-right shift in the Conservative Party's foreign policy. 0.92
00:07:14.280 This is such nonsense.
00:07:16.780 And, of course, it's U.S. style. 0.88
00:07:18.800 The Liberals have been using that for years.
00:07:21.440 Anything they don't like is U.S. style.
00:07:23.800 Such as vetting people for the Supreme Court like they do in the U.S.
00:07:29.520 Instead of having one prime minister make that decision so we have liberal judges for decades.
00:07:35.920 They have to be vetted in the United States by the Senate.
00:07:39.100 When Stephen Harper suggested that maybe justices should be vetted, it was called U.S. style.
00:07:46.600 Well, just like anything that makes sense to conservatives and common sense people is U.S. style to liberals. 0.99
00:07:54.780 And Garrison is just, once again, talking crap, rubbish, nonsense, off the top of his flathead. 0.99
00:08:01.940 And I just cannot believe anybody is going to buy this. 0.99
00:08:05.840 But here's an interesting take on this.
00:08:07.880 And before I get to this clip from Miranda Devine, who works in the New York Post, very good columnist. 0.84
00:08:14.600 And you'll notice she doesn't get a couple of the names pronounced properly here.
00:08:19.240 So I don't think Canada's her beat necessarily.
00:08:23.640 But she has some nice incisive and insightful analysis.
00:08:27.620 I want to say that my maternal grandmother was Ukrainian.
00:08:32.620 I grew up listening to stories about the famine that killed perhaps 10 million Ukrainians and Russians in that part of the Soviet Union.
00:08:47.260 And from 1930 to 32, it was a virtual genocide. 0.50
00:08:55.040 I hate to use that word, but it was a genocide against farmers.
00:08:58.440 Most of them were Ukrainian and it was all for the promotion of Stalinist collective farm policies. 0.95
00:09:10.180 And they stole all of the all of the grain from the farms and put it in the cities and the farmers and their families starved.
00:09:17.740 Now, I know all about that.
00:09:19.120 And when Ukraine gained its independence from the former Soviet Union, I applauded.
00:09:26.500 In fact, I was very good friends with a former Ukrainian ambassador to Canada.
00:09:32.220 I used to go to all of the receptions at the Ukrainian embassy in Ottawa.
00:09:37.200 I worked for a member of parliament briefly, who was the president of the Canada-Ukraine Friendship Association.
00:09:44.180 So I'm no enemy of Ukraine.
00:09:46.540 I'm an enemy of this war because it's a pointless war. 0.95
00:09:49.560 And because Zelensky is an autocrat and a clown who prances around the world in his combat fatigues and army shirt, 0.94
00:09:56.360 pretending to be a military leader when all he is is an actor, just like Justin Trudeau. 0.95
00:10:02.000 And just constantly has his hand out for more money, which is going into the coffers of the oligarchs and the corrupt politicians in his government. 0.90
00:10:11.540 He is a dictator.
00:10:13.500 Ukraine is not a democracy.
00:10:15.800 This is not a war about freedom or the survival of freedom or another war to end all wars. 0.97
00:10:22.020 All of that crap we heard in the First World War. 0.85
00:10:24.540 This is a war that needs to end. 0.99
00:10:30.340 And it needs to end now before it becomes a nuclear confrontation, as it almost has so many times over the last year and a half.
00:10:41.000 And I want to say that because I don't want anyone saying that I'm promoting potent talking points or I don't like Ukraine or I'm anti-Ukrainian.
00:10:50.560 I want Ukraine to be a true democracy.
00:10:52.340 But it cannot be a member of NATO. 1.00
00:10:56.160 That is just so stupid. 1.00
00:10:58.840 That is so naive. 1.00
00:11:00.340 You cannot be a country neighboring Russia and belong to an alliance that is still hostile to Russia.
00:11:10.500 Canada had to be a member of NATO because it is the northern neighbor of the United States.
00:11:17.060 We sure as hell couldn't have been neutral or joined a competing alliance.
00:11:21.420 That's the facts of life.
00:11:25.160 And Ukraine has to realize that.
00:11:27.900 And NATO, which keeps on expanding and expanding eastward, needs to understand that too.
00:11:34.220 But Trudeau is taking this one step further, isn't he?
00:11:38.560 It's not just that the Conservative Party is beginning to say, hey, enough is enough for Ukraine.
00:11:45.900 And your free trade deal is farcical because it's not going to do anybody any good at this point, especially with a carbon tax written into it.
00:11:56.760 But let's listen to Miranda Devine's analysis.
00:12:01.120 I'm a popular politician in desperate straits.
00:12:05.920 And so what he does is try and divide and conquer.
00:12:09.160 He tries to demonize conservatives.
00:12:12.160 And in Canada, you can't get more demonizing than to compare them to MAGA or Trump supporters in America.
00:12:21.240 And look, Justin Trudeau has just been named by his people as the most unpopular president in 50 years.
00:12:31.460 And he's lying to them again.
00:12:33.700 The reason that the Conservative Party in Canada rejected that bill for Ukraine is because Justin Trudeau tried to slip in a carbon tax to saddle the Ukrainian people with a carbon tax.
00:12:47.020 And, you know, there's a very sort of insurgent and risingly popular opposition leader in Pierre Polivet.
00:12:57.640 Viewers might remember him as the guy with the apple who was just smoothly taking apart a journalist recently who was asking him ridiculous questions.
00:13:06.780 And he's he's obviously surging in popularity.
00:13:11.040 And all that Trudeau has is to try and liken him to Donald Trump.
00:13:16.080 As if that is going to somehow fix his own problems.
00:13:21.000 As usual, these politicians on the left do not look at themselves and the terrible policies that have impoverished and damaged their citizens.
00:13:30.800 They just try and point the finger at the other side.
00:13:35.420 Of course, it's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, not President.
00:13:39.200 And it's Polivet, not Polivet.
00:13:41.460 But otherwise, Morant is right on, spot on with this analysis.
00:13:46.840 It's Trudeau again demonizing his opponents.
00:13:50.500 What did he do during the Freedom Convoy?
00:13:53.340 Yeah, they're a bunch of marginalized extremists. 0.99
00:13:57.180 And somehow they were white supremacist, racist and misogynistic. 1.00
00:14:01.200 Misogynistic, yeah. 0.98
00:14:02.320 Even though they're also claiming one of the leaders of the Freedom Convoy was a woman.
00:14:09.540 Once again, consistency is not in the cards for the Liberal Party or Justin Trudeau.
00:14:14.600 Hypocrisy always is.
00:14:16.120 And Trudeau always labels his opponents as extremists, as misogynists. 0.99
00:14:20.860 And in this case, far right, mega supporters of that horrible Donald Trump.
00:14:27.760 God help us if they ever come into Canada. 1.00
00:14:30.520 They cross the borders, these mega supporters.
00:14:32.420 And they're all infiltrating the Conservative Party.
00:14:35.040 And it really has got Justin upset.
00:14:37.960 Yes, yes.
00:14:38.680 He's very upset.
00:14:40.160 He might start calling the Conservatives Nazis again.
00:14:43.740 Just like he called the Freedom Convoy protesters Nazis.
00:14:47.000 And yet, he's the one that invited a Nazi to sit in the parliamentary gallery and get two standing ovations. 0.90
00:14:57.620 Not just one, but two.
00:14:59.580 Trudeau was the one who had the Nazi here and blamed it all on the former speaker.
00:15:04.480 It was all his idea, all his fault, and he's going to resign for it.
00:15:09.260 And I had nothing to do with this, even though I met with him. 0.96
00:15:12.480 And so, once again, this is Justin Trudeau's blatant hypocrisy. 0.84
00:15:18.800 Mega, yeah, right. 0.95
00:15:20.480 We can only wish.
00:15:22.340 You know, thank God we have people with backbone in this country, like the people behind the Freedom Convoy.
00:15:28.440 It was an organic movement, not some kind of controlled movement, but it was organic.
00:15:33.980 And it was beautifully, beautifully developed.
00:15:37.440 And it won some freedoms back for Canadians because Canadians still have a spine when they're pushed against the wall.
00:15:45.340 And that's why I'm saying to you, God, resolve to resist what Trudeau's doing to you, especially when it comes to our freedom of speech.
00:15:53.300 But don't let him get away with this nonsense.
00:15:55.520 When you're talking to your friends, well, or you're talking to your opponents, and they try to tell you, oh, you're part of that MAGA group, aren't you?
00:16:05.580 You've been infiltrated by these MAGA supporters of Donald Trump.
00:16:10.400 And just tell them, you know, you can say what you want to say about MAGA, but the Conservative Party is offering a common sense proposal policy here.
00:16:20.480 And we've got to start looking at why we're still giving billions of dollars and 11,000 assault rifles and all of our leopard tanks to Ukraine when the war is going to be over and all of that material is already lost and the billions have been looted.
00:16:37.420 I always want to touch on one other thing.
00:16:39.560 This is dear and close to Justin Trudeau's heart, Chinese election interference. 1.00
00:16:45.460 I encourage you to read this article that I just put up last night in the Post-Millennial, one of the publications I continue to write for in the new media.
00:16:59.480 I'm also writing for Human Events and the Epoch Times, but I do a lot of writing for the Post-Millennial, most of it just straight news.
00:17:05.460 Now, this is an interesting article based on a story out of The Bureau, which is Sam Cooper, a very intelligent, insightful, independent journalist on Substack who wrote a very extensive piece.
00:17:21.900 And this article obviously links with that piece.
00:17:24.360 And I encourage you to read Sam's article as well.
00:17:27.260 But it's all about a top secret CSIS report, that's Canadian Security Intelligence Service, that details how Chinese election interference has not been limited to the federal government, but it is also affecting provincial and municipal races.
00:17:45.520 In fact, the Chinese agents tried to capture a provincial party leadership candidate.
00:17:55.280 They don't say who it is, but it seems pretty obvious to me when you read the story who that is and who the finger is being pointed at.
00:18:03.880 So I'll let you read that. Please enjoy.
00:18:07.920 Anyway, that's all I've got time for today.
00:18:10.000 Thanks for watching and keep sharing, keep subscribing and keep ringing that bell because we're going to beat Trudeau's censorship one way or the other.
00:18:21.300 We are going to stand up tall for freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, all of those basic freedoms that Trudeau is trying to take away from you.
00:18:33.780 So thank you for your support.
00:18:35.660 Thank you for being a part of a movement here.
00:18:39.580 We are resolving to resist the Trudeau dictatorship, the Trudeau tyranny.
00:18:44.640 We are saying enough is enough, and we demand independent news and not what you're getting from the mainstream media.
00:18:55.200 So thank you for being a part of this broadcast today.
00:18:58.720 I'll be back tomorrow.
00:19:00.320 The Tamara Leach, Chris Barber Freedom Convoy trial resumes, and I'll be back covering that.
00:19:06.240 Thank you so much and have a happy Sunday.
