00:00:00.320 What people are seeing is that Mark Carney, while he promised, he had grand promises of change, he's even worse than Justin Trudeau.
00:00:14.920 Even worse than Justin Trudeau.
00:00:18.580 This program today is the other bookend to yesterday's broadcast about how the mainstream media wants Pierre Paulyev to move to the left.
00:00:28.320 So does Doug Ford and other liberal politicians masquerading as conservatives.
00:00:38.680 When we come back, we'll delve a little deeper into this one.
00:00:46.120 The Prime Minister lied and his minions continue to lie.
00:00:51.060 We need a political change.
00:01:01.160 But we also need to resolve to resist.
00:01:03.960 Yes, please like the station.
00:01:14.460 We really appreciate your support.
00:01:16.640 Subscribe if you haven't.
00:01:18.500 And re-subscribe if you need to do that, too.
00:01:21.060 Because YouTube can be very, very bad about that.
00:01:26.020 So that was an interesting comment from Pierre Paulyev.
00:01:29.660 And yesterday, of course, we talked about no left turn.
00:01:33.740 Found one journalist who at least saw the rationale, the reason for Pierre Paulyev not to go leftwards.
00:01:42.000 Not to suddenly get real civil with Mark Carney and to stop being a leader of the opposition.
00:01:48.660 This really is the point here, is that Mark Carney and Doug Ford met on Monday when Mark Carney was conspicuous by his absence from the EU summit in Washington with Donald Trump.
00:02:05.800 Donald Trump did not want Carney there because Carney is again flirting with the Swedes over the potential purchase of Swedish fighter jets, the Gripen.
00:02:19.240 This is infuriating Donald Trump because as Colonel Doug McGregor pointed out on the show the last time he was here,
00:02:26.320 the United States is basically down to two exports that it still has a fairly good grip on.
00:02:34.460 Agriculture is one.
00:02:35.660 It has the most arable land in the world.
00:02:38.180 And the second is, of course, armaments.
00:02:41.540 It sells more arms than any other country.
00:02:43.940 And it still probably has the best in terms of military hardware.
00:02:50.240 And all of the major armaments manufacturers are still based in the United States.
00:02:56.340 They might have lost all their manufacturing.
00:02:59.920 That isn't armaments.
00:03:01.020 But companies like Boeing, Raytheon, McDonnell Douglas, Northrop, they're all in the United States.
00:03:10.900 And they continue to produce fighter jets, bombers, tanks, armored personnel carriers, ships.
00:03:19.920 They're still there producing that.
00:03:21.800 And when Mark Carney says, I think we'll buy from Sweden, Donald Trump doesn't like that.
00:03:29.060 It's also a stupid idea, as I've said, because we can't have two different sets of fighter jets.
00:03:34.180 And this is why Mark Carney doesn't think anything through.
00:03:39.820 But neither does Doug Ford.
00:03:42.340 And I love this picture here of Doug Ford.
00:03:46.060 Isn't that wonderful?
00:03:48.480 There he is with another faux Tory, another red Tory, Tim Houston, the premier of Nova Scotia.
00:03:57.940 And, of course, Tim Houston is the premier who has gone crazy with telling his resident, don't go for a walk in the woods.
00:04:04.740 You might start a fire.
00:04:05.600 And I'm very surprised Doug Ford hasn't followed through with that.
00:04:12.440 But I want to focus for a minute before I get to Doug Ford telling Pierre Polyev to be co-opted.
00:04:21.940 Before I get to that.
00:04:23.100 And he literally said that.
00:04:25.420 Not co-opted, but work with Mark Carney.
00:04:28.200 Don't oppose him.
00:04:29.900 Well, I'm sorry.
00:04:30.400 He's the leader of the official opposition.
00:04:31.820 That's his job, to oppose him.
00:04:33.380 But we'll get to that in a minute.
00:04:34.340 But one of the biggest stories that came out yesterday, of course, and I think for the week, so many people are commenting on this.
00:04:43.600 It's the homeowner in Lindsay who was charged by police for daring to use force against a home invader, an intruder.
00:04:51.860 Somebody who invaded his property, potentially hurting himself or other members in the household.
00:04:57.060 Now, as I discussed last night on the conservative corner, I do think we need castle law in this country where people are authorized to use whatever force is necessary to subdue and remove home intruders.
00:05:14.280 I don't care if people think that's radical or too American or U.S. style.
00:05:20.760 Well, we've all had enough of this.
00:05:24.040 Doug Ford is posturing here.
00:05:26.320 And let's watch this.
00:05:27.260 And I've got a lot to say about Doug Ford here.
00:05:30.180 Hi, my name is Aura.
00:05:31.540 I'm with CBC Hamilton.
00:05:33.880 Premier Ford, what is your response to the news that a 16-year-old boy has been released on bail after murder and attempted murder charges were stayed due to a lack of sufficient evidence in connection to a mass shooting outside of Toronto High School where two people died in June 2024?
00:05:51.440 We should change the Young Offenders Act.
00:05:53.660 I'll tell you one thing.
00:05:54.740 When I was 16 and every person in his room, when they're 16, they're smart enough to know if you grab a gun and start shooting people, shooting the neighborhood up or shooting people and you kill them, you should be in jail.
00:06:06.000 That's one thing I got a pet peeve about.
00:06:09.160 You know, the criminal code is controlled by the federal government.
00:06:14.780 Hold it right there, Doug Ford.
00:06:17.000 The criminal code is controlled by the federal government.
00:06:21.960 So it's the federal government's fault.
00:06:24.040 There's nothing I can do.
00:06:26.580 This is absolute hogwash.
00:06:30.120 Provinces amend laws, create laws all the time.
00:06:34.340 Doug Ford's government has created many laws.
00:06:36.160 They've amended existing laws.
00:06:38.400 Of course they can do something about this.
00:06:41.280 And we're getting to the crux of the argument.
00:06:43.380 He's talking here about the Young Offenders Act and say, well, that's a federal issue.
00:06:46.460 Nothing I can do.
00:06:47.180 But it's just horrible, though.
00:06:49.140 16-year-olds shooting up neighborhood, torturing people.
00:06:54.100 But when he gets to the Lindsay incident, and I really want to highlight the cop-out from Red Tory, Doug Ford.
00:07:01.760 You know, and we have to start holding people accountable.
00:07:07.160 Because these people are, these young kids are running around, and they're kids 16 to 18 years old.
00:07:13.120 Let's start holding you accountable, Doug Ford.
00:07:16.040 But that's not what you're about, is it?
00:07:18.920 ...old, breaking into homes.
00:07:21.340 You heard about that one family.
00:07:23.620 Eight people showed up to their home.
00:07:25.200 Eight guys.
00:07:28.020 And they pistol-whip the father.
00:07:31.080 The mother had the one-year-old begging that they don't touch him, ripping the rings off.
00:07:36.500 You know, this is just out of control now here.
00:07:39.220 People have to be held accountable.
00:07:41.500 And then, once I'm on a roll now, did everyone hear about the story in Lindsay?
00:07:44.940 So this criminal that's wanted by the police breaks into this guy's house.
00:07:51.120 This guy gives him a beating.
00:07:53.680 And this guy gets charged.
00:07:55.540 And the other guy gets charged.
00:07:57.200 But, like, something is broken.
00:08:00.460 And maybe you're behind it being broken.
00:08:03.620 You're the premier of the province.
00:08:06.160 This is the provincial judicial system you're whining about here.
00:08:11.540 So do something about it, Doug Ford.
00:08:13.940 Or stop blaming everybody else.
00:08:17.380 And who's responsible for this?
00:08:19.400 So in Doug Ford's Ontario, yeah, you basically aren't allowed to fight back if somebody comes into your house.
00:08:26.320 And if you do fight back, be careful you don't go too far.
00:08:29.260 Beyond saying, please leave my premises, or I might call the police on you.
00:08:34.100 And the police arrive and what?
00:08:35.480 They arrest the other guy.
00:08:36.520 They arrest the homeowner, not the assailant.
00:08:39.520 This is absolutely ridiculous.
00:08:42.060 But the hypocrisy of Doug Ford is even more ridiculous.
00:08:45.440 Because he refuses to be held accountable, even though he says, we've got to start holding people accountable for this.
00:08:51.780 Except don't ask me any difficult questions.
00:08:55.660 And it's all the federal government's fault.
00:08:57.280 There's nothing I can do.
00:08:58.080 And in Doug Ford's Ontario, if you're Chris Barber, the Crown comes after you and wants your truck and then wants to put you in jail for eight years.
00:09:10.760 If you're Tamara Leach, the Ontario Crown comes after you and wants to put you in jail for seven years for peaceful protesting.
00:09:17.460 And that's what Doug Ford won't address.
00:09:22.400 This is his province.
00:09:23.340 He's the premier.
00:09:24.200 He's the guy who's appointing these judges.
00:09:26.180 And listen to how he describes this, Judge.
00:09:30.280 I just love this.
00:09:31.400 If someone breaks into my house or someone else's, you're going to fight for your life.
00:09:36.260 This guy has a weapon.
00:09:37.300 You're going to use any force you possibly can to protect your family.
00:09:42.580 I'm telling you, I know everyone would.
00:09:44.740 I'd be scared to break into Kevon's.
00:09:46.380 Look at this.
00:09:46.820 He's like a linebacker.
00:09:48.420 He'd beat the living crap out of the guy, as he should.
00:09:51.440 Because, no, enough's enough here.
00:09:56.800 Violence and breaking into people's homes, putting guns in their heads.
00:10:01.640 And guess what?
00:10:02.820 Some bleeding heart judge.
00:10:04.680 Boy has been released on bail.
00:10:07.320 I'd be scared to break into Kevon's.
00:10:09.620 So some bleeding heart judge.
00:10:12.440 Did you hear that?
00:10:13.620 Some bleeding heart judge.
00:10:15.620 And you have nothing to do with this bleeding heart judge, do you?
00:10:18.520 Violence and breaking into people's homes, putting guns in their heads.
00:10:23.740 And guess what?
00:10:24.840 Some bleeding heart judge.
00:10:26.580 Little Johnny.
00:10:27.880 He didn't have a good upbringing.
00:10:29.640 So we're going to let him out on bail five more times.
00:10:32.780 Because he's on his fifth, you know, being let out on bail five times.
00:10:36.180 Just to go do the same thing the next day.
00:10:39.160 I'll tell you one thing.
00:10:40.820 I get more calls than anyone in the country.
00:10:42.940 People are done with this.
00:10:45.100 They're absolutely done.
00:10:46.840 They're finished.
00:10:47.600 You should be able to protect your family.
00:10:51.120 When someone's going in there to harm your family and your kids, you should use all resources
00:10:56.140 you possibly can to protect your family.
00:10:58.700 And maybe these criminals will think twice about breaking into someone's home.
00:11:04.080 So dig this.
00:11:06.140 People are done with this, Doug Ford says, but there's nothing I can do except throw some red meat to my grassroots supporters who still believe in something called the Ford Nation, who still believe I'm a real conservative, who still believe I care.
00:11:25.280 Doug Ford doesn't care because this is Doug Ford on Wednesday.
00:11:28.960 Let's see what Doug Ford was acting like on Monday this week when he was telling Pierre Polyev, who would go on that day to win the by-election in Battle River Crowfoot with over 80 percent of the vote.
00:11:43.920 He's telling Pierre Polyev, lay off, Mark Carney.
00:11:47.420 Be a team player.
00:11:48.780 Do whatever Mark Carney tells you to do.
00:11:51.960 Get co-opted.
00:11:53.440 Here's Doug Ford on Monday.
00:11:55.440 Doug Ford, the liberal.
00:11:56.560 Today is Pierre Polyev's by-election.
00:11:59.860 If he gets elected, I'm wondering, what's your advice to him going into the fall sitting of the parliament?
00:12:05.280 Work with the prime minister.
00:12:07.220 How so?
00:12:07.760 Let's team Canada.
00:12:09.640 You know, let's put our political stripes aside and start working together, collectively, on large infrastructure projects, on other areas that he can cooperate with the government.
00:12:20.600 Last question.
00:12:21.400 Would you have plans to meet with Polyev?
00:12:23.880 Hold it.
00:12:24.520 I was wrong.
00:12:25.160 I said he didn't say co-opt.
00:12:27.440 He said cooperate.
00:12:29.040 Same thing.
00:12:31.080 He wants Pierre Polyev to be co-opted by the Carney government.
00:12:34.620 And he stated that quite clearly and emphatically to reporters there.
00:12:40.520 Are you sure that he is working with the prime minister?
00:12:43.460 All I want to do is move forward collectively as a government.
00:12:47.500 I don't care about political stripes.
00:12:50.000 The person I'm working with right now is the prime minister of the day.
00:12:53.420 And as far as I'm concerned, he's doing a really, really good job.
00:12:59.500 He's doing a really, really good job.
00:13:03.040 This is Doug Ford's latest endorsement of Mark Carney.
00:13:07.220 Of course, he did nothing during the federal election campaign to see the pure polyev and the conservatives were elected.
00:13:13.440 And he continues to do everything he can to bolster and support Mark Carney and the liberals.
00:13:21.220 This is what Doug Ford is all about.
00:13:24.540 On Monday, on Wednesday, he's outraged over the Young Offenders Act.
00:13:29.740 He's outraged that there's basically no capability in the Ontario province to fight back if you're the victim of a home invasion.
00:13:39.680 He's outraged about that on Wednesday.
00:13:41.540 But on Monday, let's support Mark Carney.
00:13:44.580 And just like the mainstream media, pure polyev needs to just shut up and put up.
00:13:50.840 And he needs to just listen to what Mark Carney's doing.
00:13:53.440 Because Mark Carney's doing a really, really good job.
00:13:56.160 What utter nonsense.
00:13:58.440 In the position he's been put in, I challenge anyone, try to deal with Donald Trump, myself included.
00:14:06.900 He's a different type of cat.
00:14:09.220 But we're united.
00:14:10.560 We know what we need to do.
00:14:12.200 And we know that we need to cut the regulatory burdens off of companies, lower taxes, put money back into people's pockets,
00:14:20.040 support companies that need investment to grow and expand here.
00:14:24.020 And onshore, the procurement side, it's absolutely critical.
00:14:28.440 So you really think Mark Carney's going to put money back into the pockets of the people, do you?
00:14:33.640 And he's going to lower taxes everywhere.
00:14:35.780 He's the guy who wants, remember, the industrial carbon tax?
00:14:41.280 He's the guy that's pushing business out of the country.
00:14:44.660 Now, before we get to Pierre Paulyev's response to all this yesterday, I want to show you a bit of what's going on.
00:14:54.220 The cost of materials and municipal taxes have decreased.
00:14:58.560 Buyers still aren't biting.
00:15:00.780 And no sales means no shovels in the ground.
00:15:04.220 There's projects being completed now.
00:15:06.620 But once those projects get completed in 26 and 27, there is going to be a real lack of jobs, lack of investment, lack of a new activity,
00:15:15.920 and lack of delivery of new homes in 28 and 29.
00:15:18.680 So the private sector is calling Mark Carney on this and saying, we're on the verge of a catastrophe.
00:15:25.520 A housing, the housing bubble is going to burst.
00:15:28.180 There's going to be no new construction.
00:15:30.700 This is the private sector telling Carney, it's not going to work.
00:15:36.860 You're headed for disaster.
00:15:38.540 And this is why Mark Carney's not doing a really, really good job.
00:15:44.300 Despite the Ford government's new law aimed at helping home builders free up cash and fast-track projects,
00:15:50.640 the industry is still calling for more help, asking for provincial and federal tax breaks to lower construction costs.
00:15:58.380 Those taxes are not paid by our industry.
00:16:02.360 They're passed through to the consumer.
00:16:04.080 And I think the consumer is currently voting with their pocketbook that regardless of the changes in market forces,
00:16:11.060 regardless of some of the adjustments in taxes, price points are still too high.
00:16:15.880 We cannot possibly deliver homes for the price that people are willing to pay.
00:16:20.280 But provincial officials told Global News any kind of tax holiday isn't under consideration.
00:16:26.080 And tax breaks would be aimed at buyers rather than builders.
00:16:29.900 What the Ford government is looking at is how to work with Ottawa.
00:16:33.940 The federal government has pledged to tap unused public lands to build affordable housing.
00:16:38.820 We have a lot of surplus land in Ontario.
00:16:40.640 And I think in Ontario alone, over 200 sites, not all could be available for housing.
00:16:47.420 But let's repurpose that land where we can.
00:16:49.760 Let's repurpose it so we can get affordable housing starts, work with non-for-profits.
00:16:54.140 Let's work for new homebuyers.
00:16:56.640 Let's find homes for the missing middle.
00:16:58.840 But the government also says it wants to give its latest housing policies at least one to two years
00:17:05.140 to understand its impact before making any additional changes.
00:17:09.320 At Queen's Park, Colin DeMello, Global News.
00:17:13.700 So how bad are things in Canada?
00:17:15.920 This says it all, thanks to Table Salt, who does some fantastic research.
00:17:20.680 Canada lost 39,000 private sector and 5,800 self-employed jobs in July.
00:17:29.980 Of course, it added 4,000 more public sector jobs.
00:17:34.400 Who was prime minister in July?
00:17:36.780 Oh, I'm sorry, it wasn't Justin Trudeau.
00:17:39.160 It was Mark Carney.
00:17:42.060 There are now 4.5 million public sector workers in Canada.
00:17:46.720 There are more public sector workers in Canada than there are in any private sector niche, if you will,
00:17:58.640 or any sector of people working privately.
00:18:01.500 We'll put it that way.
00:18:04.440 In other words, there's more public servants than there are people working in the oil and gas,
00:18:10.640 working in agriculture, working in sales, working in retail, working in the private sector.
00:18:19.500 We're not quite communist yet, but we're getting there at a rapid rate.
00:18:24.920 I mean, look at these figures.
00:18:32.340 Private sector employees are down to 39%.
00:18:37.700 And it is absolutely astounding.
00:18:43.660 This is where this country is going.
00:18:48.100 Canada now has 4.5 million public servants.
00:18:52.060 And I use the word servant begrudgingly.
00:18:56.260 Because most of these people will never see themselves as a servant to the public.
00:19:01.360 They see themselves as very entitled, deserving of the highest wages,
00:19:06.640 wages that they would never receive in the private sector.
00:19:10.580 The highest job security, the strongest job security,
00:19:15.300 job security that they would never get in the private sector.
00:19:18.240 And get this.
00:19:21.680 These private sector, these public sector workers have wages.
00:19:24.940 They're being paid by only 13.7 million private sector workers.
00:19:30.460 That's getting to a very, very dangerous ratio.
00:19:36.180 That's like literally
00:19:37.040 one third, public sector workers are one third of private sector workforce.
00:19:47.860 Three taxpayers for every one public service, making $80,000 to $120,000 a year.
00:19:57.000 How is this country still standing?
00:19:58.660 But I thought Mark Carney was doing a really, really good job.
00:20:07.420 Apparently not.
00:20:08.760 Canada's employment rate continues to fall, now sitting at a 26-year low.
00:20:16.220 Public sector employment is at a 30-year high.
00:20:20.500 The federal tax take as a percentage of DDP is at a 20-year high,
00:20:31.560 and our tax base is being hollowed out.
00:20:34.680 This is not going to end well.
00:20:37.600 Thank you for Richard Dias for that illustration.
00:20:41.980 No, it's not going to last.
00:20:46.780 It is a recipe for disaster.
00:20:48.980 But Doug Ford says Mark Carney's doing a really, really good job.
00:20:57.440 Seems to me there's a disconnect here someplace.
00:21:02.020 And here's one from my good friend Mark Nixon.
00:21:03.620 Latest data shows building permits are collapsing,
00:21:09.340 down minus 4.3% residential and minus 15% non-residential.
00:21:15.880 Canada is forecasting three straight years of declining construction completions.
00:21:22.720 Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation reports.
00:21:25.940 We are being gaslit non-stop.
00:21:29.740 Not just by Mark Carney.
00:21:33.620 And you know what net zero means for Mark Carney?
00:21:36.160 It's more than just an environmental obsession.
00:21:39.260 It means he has zero to deliver.
00:21:42.400 He can't deliver on jobs.
00:21:44.180 He can't deliver on tariffs.
00:21:46.380 He can't deliver on foreign policy.
00:21:48.640 He can't deliver on the debt and the deficit.
00:21:52.020 He can't deliver on anything except failure.
00:21:55.120 Oh, but Doug Ford says he's doing a really, really good job.
00:22:08.960 Thanks for the clarification.
00:22:10.380 This is from Grok.
00:22:11.080 The Global News report warrants a potential 40,000 direct home building jobs
00:22:15.620 and 30,000 supply chain jobs at risk in Ontario.
00:22:18.500 Sales stay low.
00:22:19.440 So, not a 40 to 50% national figure and not from BMO.
00:22:26.100 StatCan reports a 1.3% construction drop in July with forecasts varying.
00:22:33.600 Example, 2.6% growth per summit analyses, declines in starts per others.
00:22:39.780 So, that's really neither here nor there.
00:22:42.940 But I want to get to Pierre Palio's response to all this.
00:22:49.280 Because he recognizes that Mark Carney is more dangerous than Justin Trudeau.
00:22:53.800 He recognizes that the Conservative Party of Canada cannot be co-opted by the Liberal Party
00:22:59.500 and the Carney government.
00:23:01.400 It needs to be exactly what it is, the official opposition.
00:23:04.920 It needs to oppose Carney's overreach and it needs to propose better policies.
00:23:11.400 This is what Polyev has been saying.
00:23:16.700 Doug Ford is describing a country where we're all on the same team.
00:23:20.300 Well, that's exactly what happened in Soviet Russia and in Germany during the 1930s
00:23:25.220 and in any dictatorship.
00:23:27.160 We're all on the same team.
00:23:28.860 They're all on the same team.
00:23:30.040 It's called a one-party state.
00:23:32.240 This is what I've been saying from day one of the Carney regime.
00:23:35.500 He wants to co-opt the opposition.
00:23:37.260 He wants a one-party state.
00:23:38.900 That's what Mark Carney is all about.
00:23:42.680 And clearly, the longer he stays in there, the more he talks that way.
00:23:46.980 And Doug Ford is on the Carney team.
00:23:49.700 It's not Team Canada.
00:23:50.620 It's Team Carney.
00:23:52.000 And Doug Ford is part of the problem.
00:23:54.880 Let's listen to what Pierre Palio has to say about this.
00:23:57.040 The thing is that Mark Carney, while he promised, he did grand promises of change, he's even worse than Justin Trudeau.
00:24:08.740 Yes, even worse.
00:24:10.120 This is just one of the many examples of the 330% increase in extortion-related crimes since liberals lowered the penalty for extortion.
00:24:22.460 They removed mandatory prison sentences for extortion with a gun.
00:24:26.900 No wonder crime is raging out of control.
00:24:30.660 Crime, costs, immigration, housing prices are all out of control after 10 years of liberals.
00:24:38.200 And Mark Carney promised to be different.
00:24:41.080 Instead, everything is worse.
00:24:43.000 The deficit is worse under Carney than it was under Trudeau.
00:24:47.440 The crime is rising under Mark Carney.
00:24:49.620 Our economy is falling with $60 billion of net investment fleeing our country since he became prime minister.
00:24:57.080 Not a single new pipeline.
00:24:59.060 Not a single new proposal for an LNG plant or nuclear plant or port expansion has been made since Mark Carney took office,
00:25:07.940 promising that he was going to reverse weak liberal economic policy.
00:25:13.640 In fact, he has given a gift to President Trump as $60 billion of Canadian investment has fled the country
00:25:20.140 in just less than the half a year since Mr. Carney took office.
00:25:24.600 And speaking of trade, he promised he could handle Trump.
00:25:28.440 He said that he could negotiate a winning deal.
00:25:32.120 So far, American tariffs have doubled on Canada, and we're now losing a trade war with China,
00:25:38.280 which is hammering our farmers and fish harvesters.
00:25:41.740 As Mark Carney fails abroad, Canadians pay the price here at home.
00:25:46.980 And nowhere is this more true than in the area of crime and chaos.
00:25:52.420 He, as Mark Carney, has not only failed to change a single liberal law to...
00:25:57.420 He sent his MPs home for the summer, with crime up, inflation up, the deficit up, and elbows down.
00:26:07.380 And not a one action taken to reverse the liberal crime chaos that we came to expect under his predecessor.
00:26:15.900 And he put in charge of crime his two most incompetent ministers.
00:26:20.240 First, he's got Sean Frazier as the justice minister.
00:26:23.360 This is the immigration minister who caused the immigration crisis.
00:26:26.540 And the housing minister who caused the housing crisis.
00:26:30.040 And now he, because of those failures, he's in charge of law and order.
00:26:34.360 And then he's got a public safety minister who doesn't even know what a gun license is.
00:26:39.360 So how can he fight gun crime?
00:26:42.400 The incompetence that you have to have as a prime minister to name such terrible ministers
00:26:47.280 would be laughable if it weren't so terrifying.
00:26:52.260 Because the people behind me today are paying the price for this insanity.
00:26:58.900 Right.
00:26:59.700 Hey, is this a country in collapse, in free fall, or what?
00:27:03.560 So why would Peer Polyev, and I ask you this, dear viewer, and Doug Ford,
00:27:10.560 why would Peer Polyev want to be co-opted by a government that's failing in every respect?
00:27:16.600 We have a failing justice system.
00:27:19.360 Criminals are doing well under the Kearney government.
00:27:22.100 We have a failing economy.
00:27:24.660 Potentially a catastrophically failing economy.
00:27:28.820 We have a country that is adrift.
00:27:32.300 And why?
00:27:33.560 Oh, why is Mark Carney still enjoying some semblance of a honeymoon from Canadian voters
00:27:39.620 when he has utterly failed to deliver on any of the things he promised that he would deliver on?
00:27:47.060 He has completely failed as a prime minister.
00:27:51.660 And it's only going to get worse.
00:27:54.060 So I ask you again, why would Peer Polyev want to be part of that Team Canada?
00:27:59.040 Because it's not Team Canada.
00:28:00.620 It's Team Carney.
00:28:02.100 And that's the team you don't want to be associated with because it loses every game.
00:28:07.560 And that is why conservatives are setting our priorities for the fall session.
00:28:14.220 We want stronger take-home pay that buys more affordable goods, safer communities by locking up criminals, secure borders with immigration that is under control and drugs and guns kept out of our country.
00:28:30.600 And a self-reliant Canada that produces more of its own goods and reaches overseas markets so that we're no longer so helplessly dependent, reliant on one market.
00:28:42.800 That is our priority.
00:28:44.540 Stronger take-home pay, safer streets, secure borders, a self-reliant Canada.
00:28:49.700 And that is what we will be fighting for in the fall session.
00:28:52.420 But it starts with safety.
00:28:54.500 And that's why today I am announcing the Conservative Action Plan to counter the liberal extortion crisis.
00:29:02.260 Number one, we're calling on the government to immediately list the Bishnoi Gang as a terrorist organization.
00:29:10.600 The Bishnoi Gang has been terrorizing communities, shooting up neighborhoods, extorting our people, and taking the money out of our country.
00:29:19.520 We, there's evidence now that their violence is linked to terror and to political motivations.
00:29:26.000 This is why numerous mayors and premiers, including me and Mayor Patrick Brown from Brampton, have called for this group to be listed as a terrorist body.
00:29:34.760 Doing so would allow police to arrest anyone who raises money, organizes, plans, does logistics, or recruitment, and put those people in jail.
00:29:46.380 Or if they are non-Canadians, it can kick them out of this country.
00:29:51.100 Next, we are calling for jail and not bail.
00:29:55.060 By repealing Liberal Law C-75 and Liberal Law C-5, that we will ensure that offenders who engage in extortion go to jail.
00:30:04.980 They are not automatically released again and again through the revolving door.
00:30:09.440 Finally, we're calling for the adoption of Bill, of our Deputy Leader Tim Uckles' Bill, making mandatory prison sentences for extortion.
00:30:21.380 First offense will be minimum four years.
00:30:23.840 If it's with a gun, it will be five years and up to seven.
00:30:27.500 And it will be an aggravating offense if the extortion involves the use of fire.
00:30:32.900 So this action plan will help us to become more secure.
00:30:41.620 Isn't that amazing?
00:30:44.600 You would get charged, arrested, charged, and go to jail for criminal offenses under a conservative government?
00:30:51.740 And he doesn't talk about the home invasions here.
00:30:55.680 I'm sure he will.
00:30:56.620 But as it is right now, you're going to jail, potentially, for defending your home and your family from an intruder.
00:31:05.260 But you got lots of bail for the guy who invaded your home.
00:31:09.700 Yeah, that's the Mark Carney government.
00:31:12.540 What is wrong with this picture?
00:31:15.440 And this is why Pierre Pauly also made the announcement about arson.
00:31:18.860 Yeah, maybe people should be going to jail for arson instead of being, what, just pretending that it's not really a problem.
00:31:29.280 And, you know, people do this sort of thing because they've had very unhappy upbringings.
00:31:34.380 And you have to understand this.
00:31:36.500 Well, let's go after real criminals.
00:31:38.680 And let's leave law-abiding citizens alone.
00:31:42.500 But that's the anarcho-tyranny of this liberal government.
00:31:47.460 Go after your political opponents.
00:31:50.700 Make the homeowners suffer.
00:31:53.180 But let the real criminals get away with it.
00:31:56.280 Bail and jail.
00:31:58.340 Jail and bail.
00:32:00.100 I would add, Michelle Rempel's bill, she's announcing, she's bringing a bill saying that immigration status should not be used by judges to reduce the sentences of convicted criminals.
00:32:11.340 You know, the other day we had a judge who said, well, this individual is a non-Canadian, and if they get a high conviction, they'll be deported from the country.
00:32:22.240 Well, that's what we want.
00:32:24.400 If someone commits a crime when they're here as a visitor, we want them to do a sentence in prison and then get the hell out of Canada.
00:32:31.140 We don't want to keep criminals in our streets.
00:32:33.800 We don't want to invite criminals to our country.
00:32:35.860 Every single criminal who visits our country and is a non-Canadian should be quickly...
00:32:42.140 Is this a non-brainer or what?
00:32:45.320 Yeah!
00:32:47.520 We don't want the criminals to stay in Canada.
00:32:50.140 We want to deport them.
00:32:51.980 When's the last time you heard a liberal talk like that?
00:32:53.860 The Liberals under Mark Carney have lost track of 600 convicted criminals who are wandering our streets committing even more crime.
00:33:02.560 These are not even Canadian citizens.
00:33:04.820 We need to bring back an immigration system that brings in only the right people and the right numbers.
00:33:10.500 People who lawfully enter our country and follow all the rules are welcome to contribute,
00:33:15.220 but only the numbers we can absorb and only law-abiding, hard-working people need to be allowed into our country.
00:33:22.380 That is the approach that Conservatives will take.
00:33:24.360 Again, our priorities for the fall.
00:33:29.140 What people are seeing is that Mark Carney, while he promised, he made grand promises of change,
00:33:36.200 he's even worse than Justin Trudeau.
00:33:39.360 Under his leadership, our deficit has grown.
00:33:41.600 Unemployment is rising.
00:33:43.700 $60 billion of net investment has fled our country.
00:33:47.920 The U.S. tariffs have doubled on Canada, and Carney is now losing a trade war with China.
00:33:56.680 He is clearly failing to live up to the massive promises that he made.
00:34:00.980 And while he gets gushing media coverage for meetings and photo-ops and grand announcements that amount to nothing,
00:34:08.580 Mark Carney is one walking, talking, broken promise.
00:34:11.880 And our job in the fall session will be, one, to hold him accountable for the failures that are costing you more,
00:34:19.160 endangering your family, and weakening our country.
00:34:22.240 But two, we're not just going to oppose out-of-control liberal crime, inflation, immigration, housing costs.
00:34:30.300 We are going to propose real solutions that will mean stronger take-home...
00:34:35.640 Yes.
00:34:38.260 So if Piripaliev wouldn't be co-opted by Justin Trudeau, why should he or would he be co-opted by Mark Carney?
00:34:47.260 Who's worse than Justin Trudeau?
00:34:49.920 So I'm glad to see this.
00:34:51.360 I hope he delivers.
00:34:53.040 I hope he follows through.
00:34:54.700 I'm not here to be a propagandist for Piripaliev, but what he's saying is right.
00:34:58.500 He needs to follow it up with actions.
00:35:00.120 He shall not, he cannot be co-opted by the Carney government because the Carney government is a disaster.
00:35:06.500 Now, when I come back, I've got a real treat for you.
00:35:09.880 Do you know Cracker Barrel?
00:35:12.240 This is a fascinating look at how political correctness continues to thwart what people really want.
00:35:20.220 I'll be back after this message from our store.
00:35:30.120 I'll be back after this message from our store.
00:36:00.120 I'll be back after this message from our store.
00:36:30.100 Thank you for visiting our store.
00:36:31.860 Thank you for so many who have patronized it lately.
00:36:35.060 And I've got an email to get out to some of you who have really gone way above the call of duty.
00:36:41.860 And I thank you for that.
00:36:43.220 But here's a great little piece here.
00:36:45.320 And I wanted to show this to you.
00:36:48.200 Okay, remember Cracker Barrel?
00:36:55.840 There's the old logo there.
00:36:58.660 You know, and that's literally the age that that logo tried to evoke.
00:37:05.200 You know, it's one of the small town guys sitting around that Cracker Barrel.
00:37:09.980 That's what it was all about.
00:37:11.860 And here's the new logo here.
00:37:14.440 How utterly, I don't know, how would you describe it?
00:37:20.820 Absolutely sterile?
00:37:22.320 I don't know.
00:37:24.900 It has absolutely nothing.
00:37:26.580 But of course, they have a new woke CEO, Cracker Barrel CEO, Julie Messino.
00:37:35.200 Should face charges of crime against humanity and wokeness jokes.
00:37:39.540 There's on the left there, there's the picture of the way a Cracker Barrel restaurant used to look.
00:37:44.980 And I used to patronize these during my many trips south for Civil War reenactments.
00:37:52.540 Yeah, it's more than just rustic.
00:37:55.500 It's an atmosphere.
00:37:56.980 Look at this atrocity over here.
00:37:59.380 It looks like what?
00:38:01.460 A prison cafeteria is how I would describe it.
00:38:05.300 A prison cafeteria.
00:38:06.520 Yeah, and there's the guy, there's good old Jack Fasovia, the person who made the original Cracker Barrel logo versus the person who removed it.
00:38:16.000 There she is.
00:38:17.480 Oh, the woke CEO of Cracker Barrel.
00:38:22.440 Go woke, go broke.
00:38:24.220 I'm used.
00:38:25.220 Quips.
00:38:26.520 New DEI hires CEO is rebranding Cracker Barrel to decolonize it.
00:38:34.020 What the hell does that mean?
00:38:35.860 Yes, I know what it means, but these people talk in riddles.
00:38:39.880 They talk in nonsense.
00:38:41.300 Her first move was to remove the old-fashioned country gentleman meant to evoke nostalgia and Americana.
00:38:47.260 Yes, we can't celebrate Americana.
00:38:51.100 We certainly, we've gone way past this in Canada.
00:38:53.540 We can't even celebrate Canadian heroes because they're villains, according to the liberals.
00:38:57.900 Donald Trump Jr. says, what the F is wrong with Cracker Barrel?
00:39:04.660 Woke War Room writes, Cracker Barrel's new logo isn't an accident.
00:39:11.060 It's CEO Julie Feiss Massino's project.
00:39:14.660 She scrapped the beloved American aesthetic and replaced it with a sterile, soulless branding.
00:39:26.680 Massino kept a DEI regime that promised to identify, recruit, and advance hires by race.
00:39:34.000 And now faces civil rights complaints from America First Legal to the EEOC and the Tennessee Attorney General.
00:39:46.320 She should resign and be replaced with leadership that will restore Cracker Barrel's tradition.
00:39:51.200 Yep.
00:39:54.960 That's what, you go woke, you go broke.
00:39:57.980 And that, of course, is the message here.
00:40:01.040 That, these companies never learn.
00:40:03.480 You remember the fiasco when Bud Light hired Dylan Mulvaney to advertise his project?
00:40:11.120 And the project, the Bud Light tanked.
00:40:16.660 Nobody wanted to drink it anymore because it was identified with Mulvaney.
00:40:21.200 It didn't work.
00:40:22.800 But people don't learn because this shows liberals are not interested in the benefits to consumers or benefits to their company.
00:40:31.560 They're only interested in pushing a political agenda.
00:40:34.960 And everything else will suffer.
00:40:37.500 And the interest of pushing, promoting that political agenda.
00:40:41.560 And that's what this CEO of Cracker Barrel is demonstrating here.
00:40:46.120 Anyway, I had a good time today doing this.
00:40:48.820 Please share this broadcast with your friends and family if we can get those numbers back up.
00:40:55.100 And I appreciate you being here.
00:40:57.100 I'll be back again tomorrow, same time, same place.
00:41:00.980 God bless this country.
00:41:02.200 Godspeed to all of you.
00:41:04.340 And I'll see you all tomorrow.
00:41:06.420 Bye for now.
00:41:06.920 Bye for now.
00:41:06.980 Bye for now.
