Stay Free - Russel Brand - Here's the News: “Mutant Coronavirus With 100% KILL RATE!!” No One Is Ready For What’s COMING

Chinese scientists are testing a new strain of coronavirus that has a 100% kill rate on mice. Could this new strain be a direct descendant of the deadly virus that wiped out millions of people in the first pandemic of the 20th century? Or is it something else entirely? And if so, what's the worst that could happen to these mice? And why is this research being carried out in China at all? To find out, we speak to senior reporter Brian Enden and National correspondent Nicole Verkindt about what they know and what they don't know about this latest lab leak, and whether it could have a link to the deadly 2020 pandemic that killed over a million people worldwide. 00:00:55.000 We are working now feverishly in laboratories on humanised mouses to ensure that we have a vaccine against you being corrupted and corralled by legacy media.

00:01:03.000 We're not doing anything like that but...

00:01:05.000 Chinese scientists are right now, apparently, working on new forms of coronavirus that have a 100% kill rate on little, tiny, potentially innocent, mouses. 0.96

00:01:13.000 Do you think that after events over the last few years, we should look at whether or not gain-of-function research is as effective as is claimed?

00:01:19.000 Do you want dual-purpose research continuing where they work on chemical weapons and vaccines simultaneously?

00:01:25.000 Are you beginning to wonder if the cure might be worse than the disease and might even cause the disease?

00:01:29.000 Are these legitimate questions to ask?

00:01:31.000 And if not, why not?

00:01:34.000 Chinese scientists are experimenting with a mutant COVID-19 strain that reportedly has a 100% kill streak in mice.

00:01:43.000 The new strain is called GXP2V, and it attacks the brains of mice engineered to reflect similar genetic makeup to humans.

00:01:52.000 Humanized mouses.

00:01:53.000 Now, when you listen to the list of symptoms that these mouses are showing, do you think, I think Joe Biden's got this disease? 0.99

00:02:00.000 With most mice living just eight days, He's got about that long, maybe.

00:02:04.000 After being infected with this virus, researchers report the mice lost weight, became sluggish, adopted a hunched posture.

00:02:11.000 Uh-huh.

00:02:12.000 With their eyes turning completely white the day before they died.

00:02:16.000 Well, that's not going to happen then.

00:02:17.000 And this experiment, of course, brings back haunting memories from the 2020 pandemic.

00:02:22.000 Let's bring in senior national correspondent Brian Endin, who is following this story, joins us live.

00:02:26.000 Brian, the obvious question here, could this affect humans in the same way?

00:02:31.000 Well, we have to wait to find out that part part of this.

00:02:33.000 Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

00:02:34.000 Have a go, wait and see.

00:02:35.000 Ooh, surprise, please God it doesn't.

00:02:37.000 We're just going to make sure that they keep the windows shut at that level. 1.00

00:02:40.000 Oh, you bloody idiots! 1.00

00:02:41.000 Not again! 1.00

00:02:42.000 We've been looking over this research all day, Nicole, and obviously, like you said,

00:02:46.000 any time you hear about China doing some kind of COVID research, it does send off alarm

00:02:53.000 bells.

00:02:54.000 A little bit.

00:02:55.000 What they should have is alarm bells in those laboratories that tell you when coronavirus

00:02:58.000 is getting out the window.

00:02:59.000 That, I wouldn't mind paid taxis for.

00:03:01.000 We're going to need a few more taxis, not for bonuses for Anthony Fauci.

00:03:04.000 This one's actually for a bit of sealant around the windows.

00:03:06.000 No, that's money well spent.

00:03:07.000 But we won't be able to go to war with Yemen. 0.92

00:03:09.000 Oh no, no, we've got to have a war with Yemen.

00:03:10.000 I've got to have that war. 0.96

00:03:12.000 You know, when you think back to the way the whole pandemic may have started.

00:03:15.000 What's going on in the back?

00:03:16.000 Is kids collapsing all over the place?

00:03:18.000 What's causing all these children to collapse?

00:03:20.000 There is some reason to be concerned about this.

00:03:22.000 And you mentioned some of the symptoms that these mice in this lab in China have after they were tested with this new strain of COVID.

00:03:31.000 Lost weight, sluggish, eyes turned white.

00:03:34.000 Again, though, for us, I think the biggest concern is What kind of research are they doing, and is there the possibility of another lab leak?

00:03:43.000 Another.

00:03:44.000 Could that be a problem here?

00:03:46.000 Dr. Marty, who you heard from there, from Florida International University, she says she was actually on a special team with United Nations that would go into laboratories around the world and make sure that they're following protocols and not doing anything dangerous.

00:03:58.000 And she said based on what she knows with this situation in China, which we don't know a ton about, but Based on the little information that we do have, she says she hopes that one of these teams will go in there and make sure that everything is being done safely.

00:04:11.000 That would be nice, wouldn't it?

00:04:12.000 If you just have a little mooch about, see if it's safe. 1.00

00:04:14.000 Because, you know, we did just have a little bit of a pandemic.

00:04:16.000 And although the pandemic was pretty beneficial to the most powerful interests in the world, both financially and authoritarian structures that benefit from people being terrified and being out locking them in their homes, it would be good if we didn't have a disease that kills, what was the percentage again?

00:04:28.000 Oh yeah, 100%.

00:04:28.000 That's everyone.

00:04:30.000 Except for people that have got bunkers and live on high mountain tops.

00:04:33.000 So, you know, it's not all bad news.

00:04:35.000 Not if you're a Davos.

00:04:36.000 Because again, when you hear China and you hear COVID and you hear mice and you hear new testing, it obviously gets a lot of people worried, Nicole.

00:04:43.000 Uh, yes it does.

00:04:44.000 all right, Brian Intent, thank you. So there you go, that's the Legacy Media reporting on what

00:04:49.000 sounds like a unnecessary experiment with very few beneficial outcomes. Let's get into it.

00:04:55.000 Chinese scientists have been experimenting with a mutant coronavirus strain that is 100% lethal 0.66

00:05:00.000 in mice despite concerns that such research could spark another pandemic. Scientists in Beijing,

00:05:04.000 who are linked to the Chinese military, why are we seeing these connections between the military

00:05:08.000 and research into vaccines? I remember when I first heard that stuff, I think from Bobby Kennedy,

00:05:13.000 I was like, come on mate, this can't be right.

00:05:15.000 But just another one of those conspiracy theories that proves to be true.

00:05:19.000 Just another piece of true information that will be regarded as misinformation that reminds you that when people are talking about misinformation, what they're talking about is information that's going to make you not be compliant.

00:05:29.000 Scientists in Beijing, who are linked to the Chinese military, cloned a COVID live virus found in pangolins known as GXP2V and used it to infect mice.

00:05:37.000 I mean, at this point, what is the upside?

00:05:39.000 I mean, I know China's not a democracy, so they shouldn't hold elections on whether or not that should continue. 0.58

00:05:43.000 But in your country, in our country, when we're spending $145 million on a basically aborted COVID inquiry, don't you think we should publicly and collectively decide whether or not we want this type of research to take place?

00:05:55.000 Isn't that the very essence of participatory democracy?

00:05:58.000 The mice had been humanized, meaning they were engineered to express a protein found in people with the goal being to assess how the virus might react in humans.

00:06:05.000 Every rodent that was infected with the pathogen died within eight days, which the researchers described as surprisingly quick.

00:06:11.000 We were quite surprised by that.

00:06:12.000 Oh look, those mouses are dead!

00:06:14.000 It's not, like, supposed to be, like, a bit of a laugh that they're surprised by it.

00:06:18.000 I expected them to die in a few weeks or eventually just escape into the streets of Wuhan, but to see them dead on the cage floor like that, I must say, it made us all chuckle.

00:06:26.000 You couldn't see because I was wearing a mask.

00:06:27.000 Actually, I don't know why I bother with this thing.

00:06:29.000 The team were also surprised to find high levels of viral load in the mice's brains and eyes, suggesting the virus, despite being related to COVID, multiplies and spreads through the body in a unique way.

00:06:38.000 It's not like a sequel, is it, where you want it to be, ooh, this one's a little bit better.

00:06:41.000 He's got that jeweled glove on this time, Thanos.

00:06:44.000 No, this is actual life.

00:06:45.000 Writing in a scientific paper that's not yet been published, they warned the finding underscores a spillover risk of GXP2V in humans.

00:06:52.000 If you get a virus from a pangolin and put in a humanised mouse and then that mouse dies, like, yeah, of course there's a bloody risk.

00:06:59.000 I mean, I'd say the risk is so serious that it perhaps means don't even do the experiment in the first place.

00:07:04.000 Professor Francois Ballou, an infectious disease expert based at University College London,

00:07:08.000 wrote on Twitter, "It's a terrible study, scientifically totally pointless. I can see

00:07:12.000 nothing of vague interest that could be learned from force infecting a weird breed of humanised 1.00

00:07:17.000 mice with a random virus. Conversely, I could see how such stuff might go wrong." So there you go,

00:07:21.000 there's a professor and a scientist verifying what you would intuitively think when you hear,

00:07:25.000 "Oh, they're injecting deadly diseases much worse than COVID but a bit like COVID

00:07:30.000 into mice in a lab over in China.

00:07:33.000 What the hell are they doing that for?

00:07:34.000 Haven't they learned anything?

00:07:35.000 And the answer is, well, maybe they have learned something.

00:07:36.000 That's even more terrifying, isn't it?

00:07:38.000 Professor Richard E. Bright, a chemist at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, told DailyMail.com he wholeheartedly agreed with Professor Ballou's assessment.

00:07:45.000 He added, the preprint does not specify the biosafety level and the biosafety precautions used for the research.

00:07:51.000 I'll tell you now that every time I'm saying Ballou, I'm thinking bear necessities.

00:07:54.000 And if I don't say it to you, I'm going to just keep thinking it.

00:07:57.000 So I've said it.

00:07:57.000 There.

00:07:58.000 The simple bear necessities.

00:08:00.000 When he's doing his own scientific research, he only looks for the bare necessities.

00:08:04.000 You can hardly say injecting pangolin in a humanised mouse is bare necessities, is it?

00:08:09.000 It's like much more prickly pawpaw territory, I'd say.

00:08:15.000 The absence of this information raises the concerning possibility that part or all of this research, like the research in Wuhan in 2016 and 2019, that likely caused the COVID-19 pandemic, recklessly was performed without the minimal biosafety containment and practices essential for research with a potential pandemic pathogens.

00:08:31.000 According to the study carried out by the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, the virus was discovered in 2017 prior to the COVID outbreak.

00:08:38.000 It was discovered in Malaysia in pangolins, scaly mammals that are known harbourers of coronaviruses and were heavily speculated to be the intermediate host that passed COVID from bats to humans.

00:08:50.000 I also, when I see them, think they should be in that bar in Star Wars, threatening and solo.

00:08:55.000 Una puta solo? 0.98

00:08:57.000 The researchers cloned the virus and stored multiple copes in the Beijing lab, where it continued to evolve.

00:09:02.000 It's unclear when the newly surfaced study was conducted, but the researchers said it was possible the virus had undergone a virulence-enhancing mutation in storage, which made it more deadly.

00:09:11.000 For the new research, 8 mice were infected with the virus, 8 were infected with an inactivated virus, and 8 were used as a control group.

00:09:18.000 All mice infected with the virus died.

00:09:20.000 They succumbed to the infection between 7 and 8 days after being infected.

00:09:23.000 Why is there fascination with eight mouses?

00:09:26.000 Like, eight mouses, that's how many I think Moderna tested their new boosters on.

00:09:30.000 They seem to think that's enough.

00:09:31.000 What's a responsible number of mouses?

00:09:33.000 I like eight.

00:09:33.000 Eight mouses, wee, like a racetrack.

00:09:35.000 Eight lovely mouses, the infinity sign.

00:09:37.000 Oh no, they're all dead, what should we do?

00:09:39.000 I don't know, make a vaccine?

00:09:40.000 Oh no, it's too late, aah!

00:09:42.000 Once more, here's those awful Biden-like symptoms.

00:09:46.000 Poor little things, really.

00:09:47.000 in completely white, rapid weight loss and fatigue.

00:09:49.000 Researchers found significant amounts of the virus in the rodents' brains, lungs, noses,

00:09:53.000 eyes and windpipes.

00:09:54.000 Poor little things, really.

00:09:55.000 By day six, the viral load had significantly decreased in the lungs, but the animals' brains

00:09:59.000 had shrunk and there were exceptionally high virus levels in their brains.

00:10:03.000 Do check Joe Biden.

00:10:04.000 The results suggest the virus infects via the respiratory system and then migrates to

00:10:07.000 the brain, unlike COVID, which causes lower lung infections and pneumonia in severe cases.

00:10:12.000 However, there have been examples of COVID being found in brain tissue of severely sick patients.

00:10:16.000 Severe brain infections during the later stages of infection may be the key cause of death in these mice, the researchers said.

00:10:23.000 They concluded, this is the first report showing that a SARS-CoV-2 related pangolin coronavirus can cause 100% mortality in HACE2 mice suggesting a risk for GXP2V to spill over into humans.

00:10:34.000 They're saying that as if they've just won a decathlon.

00:10:36.000 And this is the first time we've successfully killed every single one of the mouses in this lab. 0.99

00:10:41.000 Except there was one occasion, wasn't there, where you knocked over the whole damn cage and killed a lot of them. 0.99

00:10:46.000 Yes, that was a crazy day in the lab. 0.98

00:10:48.000 Thankfully, the windows were shut that day.

00:10:49.000 However, the original strain of COVID also killed 100% in mice in some studies, meaning the new results may not be directly applicable to humans.

00:10:57.000 Oh! 0.60

00:10:57.000 Carry on then guys, have fun, go at it. 0.60

00:10:59.000 This madness must be stopped before it's too late.

00:11:06.000 Mm, misinformation.

00:11:07.000 Madonna, there's another person to shut down, ruining potential chance of profits. 0.94

00:11:11.000 And fun, let's face it, over at those labs.

00:11:13.000 Well, I think that debate can be concluded now.

00:11:15.000 It was, wasn't it?

00:11:15.000 how similar research virus manipulation research was being carried out by Boston University.

00:11:19.000 Researchers were found to have created a new COVID strain that had an 80% death rate among mice.

00:11:24.000 It sparked nationwide debate about whether the experiments were an illegal form of research

00:11:28.000 known as "gain of function" which involves purposefully making viruses more deadly or

00:11:31.000 infectious to study their evolution. Well, I think that debate can be concluded now.

00:11:35.000 It was, wasn't it? That's exactly, literally, what it did.

00:11:38.000 The Biden administration tightened the rules around such research in October 2022,

00:11:42.000 but the definition of gain of function remains contested.

00:11:45.000 Did you just do gain-of-function?

00:11:46.000 No.

00:11:47.000 What do you mean by gain-of-function?

00:11:48.000 You know what I mean by gain-of-function.

00:11:49.000 Did you get a pangolin, get a disease out of it, make it worse, give it to a humanized mouse?

00:11:53.000 We did do that a little bit, but it was she's birthday.

00:11:55.000 Oh, carry on then.

00:11:56.000 Dr. Christina Park, a molecular biologist from the University of Michigan, said the Chinese study was classic gain-of-function, whether they tell you it is or not.

00:12:03.000 It's like classic.

00:12:03.000 It's not even some variation.

00:12:05.000 It's not some sort of riff.

00:12:06.000 It's not some avant-garde new interpretation of it.

00:12:08.000 It's classic.

00:12:09.000 It's actual gain-of-function like your mama used to make. 0.89

00:12:12.000 Cornpot style gain-of-function research.

00:12:14.000 The proudest tradition.

00:12:15.000 And every single one, have you noticed, of the scientists that's commented on this is like, well, I think that's a good idea.

00:12:19.000 None of them are going, oh, use edgy radicals.

00:12:22.000 Stop doing it!

00:12:23.000 One of the Chinese researchers was Dr. Yigang Tong, who trained at the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, a Chinese military medical research institute run by the People's Liberation Army.

00:12:32.000 He also co-offered a paper in 2023 with Batwoman.

00:12:36.000 Don't get excited.

00:12:37.000 She hasn't got a motorbike shaped like a bat.

00:12:38.000 She just experiments on bats in ways that are probably unhelpful. 0.89

00:12:42.000 Zhengli Shi, who helps run the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

00:12:45.000 Wait, so hang on a minute.

00:12:46.000 So these people doing this research worked with the people at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but you're worried that maybe the research here could escape like it did possibly at the Wuhan Institute of Virology?

00:12:56.000 No, no, no, no, no. 0.98

00:12:57.000 The only thing I will suggest is do make sure there are no wet markets anywhere near that lab in Beijing, because those bastards sell avia. 1.00

00:13:04.000 Although if Dr. Tong needs a grant, I know Anthony Fauci's got a few quid that he's looking to spend these days. 0.97

00:13:09.000 No questions asked.

00:13:10.000 Or, more accurately, no questions answered.

00:13:12.000 The WIV has been designated the most likely source of the COVID pandemic by the FBI and U.S.

00:13:17.000 Department of Energy in what has been dubbed the Lab League Theory.

00:13:20.000 Because it probably came out of a lab, that's why it's called that.

00:13:22.000 Researchers there, with U.S.

00:13:23.000 government grants, were performing gain-of-function experiments on coronaviruses in the months leading up to the COVID outbreak.

00:13:29.000 So there you go, if 100% of mouses are dying of this new COVID-like virus, and there's connections between the labs where they're doing it and the Wuhan Institute of Virology that was likely the source and cause of the COVID-19 pandemic, doesn't it suggest that there should be a little bit of public discussion, even some public engagement, as to whether or not gain-of-function research regard? 0.56

00:13:48.000 Hey, well you say gain-of-function research, we say potato!

00:13:50.000 Do as however you want.

00:13:51.000 It's clear that what you're doing is creating dangerous viruses in laboratories and they're not being entirely cautious as to whether or not they escape.

00:13:57.000 And I'm frankly not in the mood for another pandemic just yet.

00:14:00.000 But that's just what I think!
