Summary

Newly uncovered evidence shows that the Wuhan lab leaks are likely the result of gain-of-function research in those labs, and, get this, are also connected to bioweapon research. What s the next revelation? That there is a shady cartel of globalists that are running the world and they shapeshift into lizards? Any day now! Thanks for joining us on this voyage to truth and freedom, and what an extraordinary and surprising voyage it is. We ve got evidence that we re going to be discussing that the lab leak was connected to GSA research, plus, highly likely, that it s also highly likely that it's connected to biological weapons. Get ready for the bit where it s almost inevitable now! Let me know in the chat if you re already thinking about it, and let me know if you agree with our theories. 00:00:00.000 Newly uncovered evidence shows that the Wuhan lab leaks are likely the result of gain-of-function research in those labs.
00:00:08.000 And, get this, are also connected to bioweapon research.
00:00:14.000 What's the next revelation?
00:00:15.000 That there is a shady cartel of globalists that are running the world and they shapeshift into lizards?
00:00:21.000 Any day now!
00:00:25.000 Hello there you Awakening Wonders, thanks for joining us on this voyage to truth and freedom and what an extraordinary and surprising voyage it is we're undertaking together today.
00:00:32.000 We have evidence that we're going to be discussing that the lab leak was connected to gain-of-function research, Plus, highly likely that it's connected to bioweapons.
00:00:42.000 So what I'm essentially trying to describe to you, and even myself because I'm still baffled by it, is that we're reaching the sort of outer periphery of conspiracy theory now.
00:00:51.000 Imagine this.
00:00:52.000 It's January 2020.
00:00:54.000 Someone says to you, I think that these are bioweapons.
00:00:56.000 Like that's crazy talk!
00:00:58.000 If you want more of our content and you want to support the work we do, and we need your support because we're under attack from the government and we need your support, we make additional content every week.
00:01:07.000 This week we made a video about the global farmers protests and why they're really doing it.
00:01:11.000 Last week we made content about the 8% increase in child excess deaths.
00:01:16.000 Those things are only available for our supporters so that we can grow our movement together.
00:01:20.000 Of course we'll continue to make this content.
00:01:22.000 We love you.
00:01:23.000 But it will help us if you can provide us with your support, there's a link in the description if you want to do that, plus you get to comment on the streams, you get to meditate, there's loads of stuff we do, assuming that we're not all destroyed by some terrible microbial warfare any day now, even if it's a bloody accident, because that seems to be how these things happen.
00:01:40.000 Why don't we look at a sequence of reporting from the legacy media, your friend and mine, reporting on how there definitely are no bio labs anywhere except for Russia.
00:01:50.000 The Russian accusations are absurd.
00:01:53.000 They're laughable.
00:01:54.000 And, you know, in the words of my Irish Catholic grandfather, a bunch of malarkey.
00:02:02.000 Yeah, it's malarkey.
00:02:03.000 Malarkey's slang for bullshit, isn't it?
00:02:05.000 Yes, sir.
00:02:06.000 Bioweapons, that's malarkey.
00:02:07.000 You can trust us and our Irish Catholic grandfathers.
00:02:10.000 We're just like you.
00:02:11.000 You've got grandfathers, right?
00:02:12.000 There you go, then.
00:02:13.000 There's nothing to it.
00:02:15.000 It's classic Russian propaganda.
00:02:17.000 Ah, classic Russian propaganda.
00:02:19.000 I'm sick and tired of this Russian propaganda and I'm sick and tired of being told that there are bioweapons being developed connected to gain-of-function research.
00:02:27.000 I've had enough.
00:02:28.000 Has there been any relationship between the... We are not.
00:02:31.000 Not.
00:02:32.000 Developing biological or chemical weapons inside Ukraine.
00:02:36.000 It's not happening.
00:02:37.000 Couldn't be clearer.
00:02:38.000 Now let's have a person that used to work for the White House, but now works for Legacy Media.
00:02:43.000 I don't know how those two worlds are connected.
00:02:45.000 It must be very difficult for anyone to work for the government, then work for Legacy Media.
00:02:48.000 Same way you get people to work for the government, then go work for Moderna.
00:02:51.000 It's really weird how they seem to be able to apply their skills across a variety of disciplines.
00:02:54.000 I suppose they're just better than you.
00:02:56.000 Russia has a history also of inventing Outright lies like this, which is the suggestion that the United States has a chemical and biological weapons program, or Ukraine does, that they're operating.
00:03:08.000 Russia is the one, is the country that has a chemical and biological weapons program.
00:03:13.000 Get ready for the bit where it's almost inevitable now.
00:03:16.000 Let me know in the chat if you're already thinking.
00:03:17.000 Yep, definitely gain-of-function research was connected to bioweapon development, probably funded by the same grant.
00:03:23.000 Some of the more extreme conspiracy theories that emerged at the origin of the pandemic are subsequently being proven to be true.
00:03:28.000 Does Ukraine have chemical or biological weapons?
00:03:31.000 Ukraine has biological research facilities.
00:03:38.000 We're doing biological research, but we're not for weapons.
00:03:40.000 We're not even interested in weapons.
00:03:41.000 Helping people.
00:03:42.000 You know that, right?
00:03:43.000 We're just developing stuff in Ukraine to help Ukrainians.
00:03:46.000 I mean, look, let me show you my car.
00:03:48.000 See, they have stickers.
00:03:49.000 Right.
00:03:49.000 I want to help Ukraine.
00:03:51.000 What?
00:03:51.000 Did you think I had some other motivation?
00:03:52.000 Which in fact we are now quite concerned Russian troops, Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of.
00:04:02.000 Well hang on, so what's in those labs if a Russian was in it would suddenly become dangerous?
00:04:08.000 Well no, now it's a bioweapon!
00:04:10.000 When we arrived it was a cure for cancer, you bloody Russians!
00:04:14.000 So we are working with the Ukrainians on how they can Victoria Nuland is one of those figures that crops up in progressive administrations, works for Bush, works for Obama, has family connections and ties.
00:04:33.000 There are these kind of, I don't know, call them sort of clandestine cartels, but certainly characters like Victoria Nuland here exist in that Trans-partisan space, i.e.
00:04:43.000 she's worked for Republicans and Democrats, almost as if those categories are irrelevant.
00:04:47.000 But I do have some categories that are relevant.
00:04:48.000 Biological research for medicine.
00:04:51.000 Weapons.
00:04:51.000 Those things shouldn't be getting all mixed up down the lab, should they?
00:04:55.000 We're getting some breaking news from Washington, speaking of China, on the COVID origins report from intelligence officials.
00:05:00.000 Eamon Jaffers with the details, Eamon.
00:05:02.000 Sarah, that's right.
00:05:03.000 This is the unclassified summary now of the intelligence community's investigation into the origins of COVID-19.
00:05:09.000 Ah, good.
00:05:10.000 The intelligence agencies are looking into it.
00:05:11.000 We'll probably get some viable and reliable information.
00:05:14.000 We can all stop worrying about whether or not it's a bioweapon or whether it leaked out of a lab.
00:05:18.000 Finally, we can stop worrying because the government, the deep state, are back in control.
00:05:22.000 Remember, the government and legacy media, they're your friend.
00:05:25.000 Right?
00:05:25.000 The headline here is that they all agree, ultimately, that the virus was not developed as a biological weapon.
00:05:33.000 Well, that's that.
00:05:33.000 That's the end of the video.
00:05:35.000 It was not developed as a bioweapon.
00:05:37.000 You can trust your government.
00:05:38.000 You can trust the legacy media.
00:05:39.000 You can trust Big Pharma and all of your doubts and concerns and all the things you're saying in the chat below about knowing people that have mysteriously lost their lives.
00:05:46.000 All of that didn't happen because, look, you've just seen the inqui- Oh, you don't trust them?
00:05:51.000 Huh.
00:05:52.000 Points of disagreement, though, are where this virus actually came from and how it came to infect human beings.
00:05:59.000 And all of them agree that it was not engineered as a biological weapon.
00:06:03.000 We're all confused.
00:06:04.000 One thing we can agree on, though, is it definitely, definitely was not engineered as a bioweapon.
00:06:09.000 Are you at the point in your personal evolution where you sort of suddenly your ears prick up and your spider senses start tingling and you think, oh, well, it's almost certainly a bioweapon.
00:06:20.000 This guy, do not trust him.
00:06:22.000 What?
00:06:23.000 Yeah, don't trust him, he'd be bad for the country.
00:06:25.000 What?
00:06:26.000 Yeah, it'd be awful if he became president.
00:06:29.000 Well, I'm going to have to vote for that guy now because you bastards have took the absolute piss for decades!
00:06:36.000 You know, this idea that the virus had emerged as the result of a lab accident had been treated as something of a conspiracy theory.
00:06:44.000 Now you're seeing at least one element of the U.S.
00:06:47.000 intelligence community endorsing that idea, but only with moderate confidence.
00:06:51.000 And remember, intelligence assessments are on a sort of a spectrum.
00:06:54.000 It's not black and white necessarily 100 percent.
00:06:57.000 It's weird isn't it, when they're talking about Russia, black or white, Russia bad, Russia bad, biolabs, bioweapons, they're bastards.
00:07:02.000 When it comes to the deep state, oh they're in this spectrum, oh they're so complicated, oh they're like Kandinsky, oh they're so complicated over there.
00:07:09.000 And even they, they're only moderately confident at this phase, that it was a lab leak.
00:07:13.000 Well, I got some news coming.
00:07:15.000 We're 0%, sometimes they say, we're about 75% confident, or about 55% confident.
00:07:20.000 We can't keep bringing you this groundbreaking, revolutionary, heartwarming content without your love, dedication and devotion and without the support of our sponsors.
00:07:29.000 Can you believe that January is almost over?
00:07:33.000 How's them New Year's resolutions going?
00:07:34.000 I can't bother with all that, it's difficult.
00:07:36.000 Mine was easy.
00:07:37.000 Of course, as always, it's to focus on well-being and overthrowing the establishment.
00:07:40.000 Now, we all know the foundation of well-being is a good night's sleep, and throwing over the establishment means a willingness to absorb a lot of flack.
00:07:48.000 So if I could just do one thing to improve my sleep and overall well-being, it is taking the number one mineral for that.
00:07:54.000 Do you know what it is?
00:07:54.000 It also helps me personally on so many levels I can't even describe it.
00:07:57.000 It sounds like an X-Man.
00:07:57.000 Do you know the mineral?
00:07:59.000 Magnesium.
00:08:00.000 Actually, I'm talking about the magnesium breakthrough by Bioptimizers.
00:08:04.000 The seven different forms of magnesium in this supplement are involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body.
00:08:11.000 Pretty much every function in your body gets upgraded when you take magnesium, from the quality of your sleep, to your brain function, to your metabolism.
00:08:17.000 Stress levels will decrease.
00:08:18.000 And let's face it, even if your 2024 resolution was to oppose this odd globalist regime, it's not going to hurt you to be healthy in order to achieve those goals, because you're going to need quality sleep.
00:08:30.000 You're going to have to be able to manage your stress if you're confronting the globalists.
00:08:33.000 That's a fact, isn't it?
00:08:34.000 So do yourself a favour and make Magnesium Breakthrough part of your daily routine this year so you can get the vitality you need to conquer your dreams and the global elites.
00:08:43.000 Go to buyoptimizers.com forward slash brand now and enter the promo code brand to get 10% off any order.
00:08:49.000 Again, that's buyoptimizers.com forward slash brand.
00:08:53.000 Now, let's get back to bringing them down.
00:08:56.000 And that's what makes this difficult for policymakers going forward, Mike.
00:08:59.000 Another thing it does, inadvertently I'm sure, is obfuscates and muddies the entire story so that people can't understand the depth and breadth of what's happened.
00:09:07.000 Feeling sort of suspicious, cynical and full of doubt, not knowing what's true, not knowing what's a wacky conspiracy.
00:09:12.000 That's why following the science, as they say, can be pretty interesting.
00:09:15.000 And here's some science well worth following.
00:09:18.000 Last year, multiple US government officials stated that sources in the US government were 100% confident that COVID-19's patient zero worked at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, WIV, and conducted risky gain-of-function experiments there.
00:09:33.000 So, we're off the spectrum now.
00:09:34.000 We're at the extreme end of the spectrum, marked 100%.
00:09:37.000 This lab received funding from the National Institutes of Health, NIH, through EcoHealth Alliance, a US-based non-profit.
00:09:45.000 So, Look at all these little agencies.
00:09:47.000 What are all these agencies?
00:09:48.000 Where's the money coming from?
00:09:49.000 What's their function?
00:09:50.000 What's their purpose?
00:09:51.000 How are they funded?
00:09:51.000 Who do they work for?
00:09:52.000 In 2018, EcoHealth Alliance applied for a grant from the Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency, DARPA, which many of you were talking about right at the beginning of this.
00:10:02.000 DARPA, this agency, DARPA.
00:10:04.000 I never knew until recently that defence was what the D stood for.
00:10:07.000 Defence So it's kind of military then, huh?
00:10:11.000 For a project called DEFUSE that would involve Shi Zhengli's lab group at WIV and Ralph Baric's lab at the University of North Carolina.
00:10:21.000 That's the UNC.
00:10:22.000 What is this project?
00:10:23.000 Now, US Right to Know has obtained a full cache of notes and drafts from the DEFUSE grant proposal for a Freedom of Information Act request.
00:10:31.000 Remember, this isn't stuff that's been revealed.
00:10:33.000 Someone, a proper journalist with integrity, went, give us that information.
00:10:37.000 And here is the information.
00:10:38.000 These documents reveal that the features of SARS-CoV-2 closely resemble the work described in EcoHealth Alliance's proposal.
00:10:46.000 SARS-CoV-2's furin cleavage site primed the virus for easy transmissibility among humans and is absent from the closest known relatives of SARS-CoV-2.
00:10:56.000 So when they, under a microscope, observe SARS-CoV-2, It looks a lot like what was being described in the grant proposal from EcoHealth Alliance to DARPA.
00:11:07.000 Is it possible then that it's the same thing?
00:11:10.000 I mean, it only came from the same lab.
00:11:12.000 I mean, they only told you that that's the research they were going to do.
00:11:15.000 It's only identifiable that no close known relative of SARS-CoV-2 has this very distinctive furin cleavage site, which I won't pretend to understand, but it's connected to its transmissibility.
00:11:27.000 As best we can here, We are following the science.
00:11:29.000 And the science would seem to indicate that natural evolution is unlikely because an evolutionary step has been taken that would be unlikely and unprecedented in the molecular world that is observable here.
00:11:39.000 What seems more likely, given that they've got a paper trail saying, hey, do you mind if we go to this lab in Wuhan?
00:11:45.000 It's going to have this unique set of qualities.
00:11:47.000 Can we do that sometime later?
00:11:49.000 Everyone has to go into their house for a couple of years and you're watching funerals on YouTube and your children have to have their mouths covered at school and a whole host of other interests make incredible profits while the ability to regulate and control is radically enhanced and you have a terrified population which as you know means a malleable population.
00:12:08.000 What an extraordinary set of events.
00:12:10.000 Why were Barak and Xi conducting risky experiments to engineer virus features that could infect humans?
00:12:16.000 What was the purpose of this research and why would federal government agencies potentially want to fund it?
00:12:21.000 All important questions.
00:12:22.000 Presumably not the sort of questions that come up in the COVID inquiry in your country or my country because they seem to be asking questions that lead to, uh, it's this guy.
00:12:28.000 So they could just blame one individual and get rid of that individual.
00:12:31.000 Seems to be the way it functions.
00:12:32.000 Gain of functions.
00:12:33.000 In October 2000, Project for a New American Century, an influential foreign policy think tank, released its Rebuilding America's Defenses policy document.
00:12:42.000 Another one of these agencies that's not quite government, not quite corporation, but very, very influential.
00:12:47.000 And I'll be telling you some more stories about them because some of them have personally attacked me.
00:12:51.000 In the 21st century, the authors wrote, combat will likely take place in new dimensions, in space, cyberspace, and perhaps the world of microbes.
00:12:59.000 What a terrifying idea that is.
00:13:01.000 Warfare in new dimensions.
00:13:02.000 How extraordinary to use that language and then immediately tether it to combat and violence.
00:13:07.000 And this is a good point to acknowledge that Robert F. Kennedy, independent presidential candidate, has been talking about this stuff for a long time.
00:13:14.000 And it made him a pariah for a long time.
00:13:16.000 Oh, that crackpot lunatic.
00:13:17.000 He's always going on saying stuff like they're developing these dual purpose things that are part vaccine, but they're using the research to mask the fact that there are bioweapons.
00:13:25.000 Well, that guy is absolutely... Oh, he's right.
00:13:28.000 Advanced forms of biological warfare that can target specific genotypes may transform biological warfare from the realm of terror to a potentially useful tool.
00:13:37.000 You know, we thought that these things were terrifying, but then I found out we could use them for our own ends and they became not terrifying.
00:13:44.000 It's like the reverse of a Ukrainian bio lab.
00:13:46.000 When there's just Ukrainians in there and American-sponsored activity, it's great.
00:13:50.000 Then who's that come in look?
00:13:52.000 Fur hat?
00:13:52.000 Oh, what's that?
00:13:53.000 Cossack costume?
00:13:55.000 It's a Russian!
00:13:56.000 Microbial research in the hands of a terrorist, wearing a turban, reading a book that I can't understand.
00:13:56.000 Ah!
00:14:01.000 This is terrifying.
00:14:02.000 But when we're doing it, it's suddenly fine.
00:14:05.000 The next year, senior policy makers ran two days of a smallpox bioweapon attack simulation called Dark Winter.
00:14:12.000 You bastards.
00:14:13.000 We must prevent bioweapons!
00:14:14.000 Hopkins Center for Civilian Biodefense Strategies.
00:14:14.000 How?
00:14:18.000 Policymakers concluded during the simulation that they needed to lay the groundwork for
00:14:22.000 a new bio-warfare preparation proposal through a preventative program.
00:14:26.000 We must prevent bio-weapons!
00:14:28.000 How?
00:14:29.000 We're going to develop bio-weapons!
00:14:30.000 Okay, you're going to shut the windows.
00:14:32.000 Almost certainly!
00:14:33.000 In June 2002, scientist Michael Callaghan became the State Department's Clinical Director for Cooperative Threat Reduction Programs.
00:14:40.000 We're gonna reduce the threat!
00:14:42.000 By developing these threatening tools!
00:14:42.000 How?
00:14:44.000 Alright, obviously you know by now to shut the windows.
00:14:47.000 Absolutely!
00:14:48.000 Callahan was sent to former Soviet states, Rolling Stone reported, to form alliances with scientists at some of the most secretive bioweapons laboratories in Russia and the former Soviet states.
00:14:58.000 And it's weird because you saw the news, right?
00:15:00.000 Russia do have bioweapons.
00:15:02.000 That's the one thing everyone's agreed on.
00:15:04.000 You know, when they're doing their deep state, deep dives into this stuff, everyone's baffled and confused and all up and down on the spectrum.
00:15:09.000 But when it comes to do Russia have bioweapons, turns out we're sure they've got bioweapons.
00:15:14.000 So this dude Callahan was over there looking at bioweapons.
00:15:17.000 Right?
00:15:18.000 The goal was to convert former bioweapons labs into facilities that could fight diseases by anticipating threats and creating vaccines.
00:15:26.000 I'm sure that's what you say and why would we want to contradict you at this point?
00:15:29.000 The Biological Weapons Convention, BWC, prohibits the development of bioweapons but contains a loophole.
00:15:35.000 Oh, what a surprise.
00:15:36.000 A loophole.
00:15:37.000 How unlike these circles to put loopholes through which they can sneak profits and projects of dominion.
00:15:42.000 Allowing pathogens to be developed and stored if they have a justification for prophylactic, protective, or other peaceful purposes.
00:15:49.000 We've got an easy little acronym.
00:15:51.000 P-P-P-P-P-P-P.
00:15:52.000 If we keep saying that again and again and again, you can develop all the bioweapons you want.
00:15:57.000 Unlike those Russian bastards.
00:15:58.000 Cullahan went on to work as a program manager for DARPA.
00:16:01.000 Coincidentally, he was in Wuhan.
00:16:03.000 Oh my God.
00:16:04.000 Coincidentally, he was in Wuhan at the start of the COVID-19 outbreak.
00:16:08.000 This guy Callahan, what is he, Forrest Gump, went over to Russia.
00:16:12.000 What's going on in these bioweapons?
00:16:13.000 Then he was off to Wuhan the next minute.
00:16:15.000 What has he got, incredibly bad luck?
00:16:17.000 He should be a travel agent, this guy.
00:16:19.000 In 2003, Fauci's NIAID was assigned lead responsibility for civilian biodefence with a focus on research and early development of medical countermeasures against terrorist threats from infectious disease.
00:16:32.000 And NIAID received a $1.7 billion budget to defend against bioterror because new potentially deadly pathogens, such as avian influenza, may be naturally occurring as well as deliberately introduced by terrorists, NIAID's biodefence webpage says.
00:16:49.000 NIAID's defence research is integrated into its larger emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases portfolio.
00:16:56.000 Right, so NIAID are also trying to protect us from terrorists by developing responses to terrorists.
00:17:03.000 So what would we do if there were no terrorists or no constant threat?
00:17:07.000 Good job Russia have got all those biolabs because 1.7 billion dollars of your taxpayer money is being used to respond to these various threats that if you suddenly That seems like an important distinction to me.
00:17:19.000 I'm not a bureaucrat, plainly.
00:17:21.000 Using bio-defence under Fauci's supervision eroded the distinction between military and
00:17:25.000 civilian scientific research.
00:17:26.000 That seems like an important distinction to me.
00:17:28.000 I'm not a bureaucrat, plainly.
00:17:30.000 But it seems to me that medicine and healing people who have got a disease and developing
00:17:36.000 weapons to...
00:17:37.000 I mean, I don't know, what is a bio-weapon?
00:17:38.000 It's to hurt people, isn't it?
00:17:39.000 I mean, like, all of them saying, oh, what we're doing is we're developing this in the event that a terrorist should do this in the future.
00:17:45.000 It's all a bit Minority Report, isn't it?
00:17:47.000 And you'd want those people to be so trustworthy.
00:17:50.000 They'd have to be so spic and span and neutral.
00:17:52.000 You wouldn't want to hear that they've ever been taking royalties or grants or going on weird trips across Russia.
00:17:57.000 You certainly wouldn't want the considerable pockmark on their record of a bloody great pandemic.
00:18:03.000 Emerging out of Wuhan around the time that they were funding dual purpose research and bioweapons for which there is a paper trail so bureaucratic as well as scientific evidence because at a molecular level it's plain that that's what this is according to this evidence.
00:18:19.000 I found myself again never imagining that I'd be doing this, needing to learn from people that I never thought I'd be learning things from.
00:18:25.000 Namely, bioweaponers, Fauci said in 2002.
00:18:28.000 Significant time before this all happens, Fauci's having these odd conversations.
00:18:32.000 People who are our own bioweaponers in the US decades ago, international figures, people from other countries, the UK, and also importantly defectors, particularly from the Soviet Union, who had vast experience in the ways of biowarfare.
00:18:45.000 In 2004, the Biodefence Act outlined a response to bioterror attacks which would include aggressive research programmes including red teaming efforts to understand scientific measures that could be used to develop bioweapons.
00:18:57.000 Intelligence collectors, the Act said, would be positioned to anticipate these threats.
00:19:02.000 A 2004 paper from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, Biotechnology Research in an Age of Terrorism, made clear the risk this type of research could pose.
00:19:13.000 "Biotechnology represents a dual-use dilemma in which the same technologies that can be used to better society can
00:19:19.000 also be misused for bioterrorism, with devastating results,"
00:19:24.000 Seems to me the very kind of thing that a population should be consulted on and that we should all understand.
00:19:24.000 the report said.
00:19:29.000 Perhaps if in 2002, when all this stuff was coming up, the whole population was invited to discuss and debate and even
00:19:35.000 vote on, "Do you want us to do all this research?" One of the
00:19:38.000 concerns is that it could leak from a laboratory and cause the very thing that we're claiming that it's going to
00:19:43.000 prevent, even though you know we've got vested interest in the
00:19:45.000 pharmaceutical industry remaining profitable, the weapons industry remaining profitable,
00:19:49.000 these peculiar fusions between defense and medicine that I'm not at all comfortable with.
00:19:54.000 Would you like to be invited to discuss and understand that?
00:19:57.000 On a more tangential and ideological tip, It's been said that we went from wars against nations and creeds and religions into the war against terror.
00:20:05.000 And from the war against terror, we've gone into the war against germs.
00:20:08.000 And it requires this kind of warlike mentality.
00:20:10.000 If you could reflect, the pandemic was conducted with this kind of militaristic language and this kind of jingoism and nationalism, and we're all in it together.
00:20:18.000 And then it was used, it seemed to me, to leverage a whole bunch of policies and ideas that would otherwise have been implausible.
00:20:23.000 So even if we maintain that this was an accident, and as yet there is no evidence to suggest that it wasn't an accident, It was an accident that was extremely convenient to some extremely powerful interests and again and again we are discovering that the things that they said were true are not true and the things that the more sort of what we regarded as extreme, but we're gonna have to retire that word, people were saying was closer to the truth.
00:20:43.000 Yet over For the next two decades, the U.S.
00:20:44.000 government would give many grants to potentially dangerous gain-of-function research.
00:20:48.000 In 2009, USAID granted a $75 million PREDICT grant to four groups, including EcoHealth Alliance.
00:20:55.000 Controversy erupted in 2011 after two scientists altered H5N1 bird flu to make it more transmissible.
00:21:02.000 We've got some fantastic news!
00:21:03.000 Yeah, what is it?
00:21:04.000 You know, bird flu?
00:21:05.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:21:06.000 We've made it more.
00:21:07.000 You've created a medicine to stop it?
00:21:07.000 Better?
00:21:09.000 Oh, God, no, these are all good ideas.
00:21:11.000 No, we've made it more transmissible!
00:21:11.000 Write that down.
00:21:14.000 Cock-a-doodle-doo!
00:21:15.000 Oh, how could I stay mad at you?
00:21:17.000 Here, have another grant.
00:21:18.000 The NIH Biosecurity Board unanimously recommended that certain research methodologies not be published.
00:21:23.000 Ooh, you don't want to publish that.
00:21:24.000 That makes us look like idiots.
00:21:26.000 In response, Fauci and Francis Collins, then director of NIH, wrote a flu virus risk worth taking in the Washington Post, arguing that the benefits of gain-of-function research outweigh the risks.
00:21:36.000 Sort of like how social distancing just sort of appeared.
00:21:39.000 These risks are just sort of worth taking.
00:21:42.000 Identifying threatening viruses can also facilitate the early stages of manufacturing vaccines that protect against such a virus in advance of an outbreak, they wrote.
00:21:50.000 Well, there's some priming right there, wasn't there?
00:21:53.000 They're getting us ready for the idea.
00:21:54.000 Don't worry about it.
00:21:55.000 We can vaccinate you for it.
00:21:57.000 Take a tablet.
00:21:57.000 Are you fat?
00:21:58.000 Diabetic, you say?
00:21:59.000 Have a pill.
00:22:00.000 Depressed?
00:22:01.000 There's some tablets for that.
00:22:02.000 Pandemics everywhere?
00:22:03.000 You need not worry.
00:22:04.000 Let's go on a journey together.
00:22:06.000 But if these things ever fell into the hands of a terrorist, what do you mean by terrorist?
00:22:09.000 People that wear different clothes than us?
00:22:11.000 Well, that would be a problem.
00:22:12.000 After a tense meeting with Fauci and Collins in 2012, during which members of the NIH Biosecurity Board reportedly signed non-disclosure agreements, the board reversed its previous recommendations and voted to publish the H5N1 gain-of-function research.
00:22:26.000 Then in 2014, following multiple lab mishaps, there's a sentence that covers a variety of sins, multiple lab mishaps.
00:22:32.000 Well, there was the lab mishap where Pete lost an arm.
00:22:35.000 And then there was one where we didn't shut those windows, did we?
00:22:39.000 Oh, that was crazy.
00:22:40.000 And what about back in Wuhan?
00:22:42.000 Not yet!
00:22:43.000 Not yet!
00:22:43.000 President Barack Obama froze gain-of-function research, with some exceptions, loopholes, and established a Health and Human Services, HHS, committee with the power to veto NIH projects.
00:22:54.000 Three years later, Falchion Collins changed NIH policy, removing the HHS committee's ability to block projects.
00:23:00.000 From 2012 to 2020, the NIH funded at least 18 gain-of-function projects, costing a total of $48.8 million and involving 13 institutions.
00:23:10.000 Eight of these projects were approved after 2017, when the HHS committee's oversight had been significantly weakened.
00:23:16.000 So whatever that HHS was doing, it was slowing people down, so it had to go, and Fauci facilitated its departure.
00:23:23.000 Fauci!
00:23:23.000 And that's the person that everyone universally turned to in the outbreak of a pandemic.
00:23:27.000 Oh no, there's a pandemic!
00:23:28.000 Who should we turn to?
00:23:29.000 Well, this guy, whose recommendations, actions, and potentially personal wealth come from decisions that have caused this problem.
00:23:36.000 This historical evidence, as well as the scientific record, suggests that individuals involved in biodefence and pandemic preparedness may have been responsible for engineering the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
00:23:46.000 The defence and preparedness push that gained funding and momentum after 9-11 appears to have become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
00:23:52.000 In attempting to stop pathogens from transmitting to humans, scientists appear to have achieved the opposite.
00:23:57.000 An early precursor to the Orwellian linguistic trickery we're all becoming accustomed to now.
00:24:02.000 We need this war.
00:24:03.000 For peace.
00:24:04.000 We need to make all these bioweapons to stop any bioweapons ever affecting us.
00:24:09.000 But isn't the main threat you?
00:24:11.000 Kinda, but not to me.
00:24:12.000 I make a lot of money out of it.
00:24:13.000 The response to COVID-19 employed the same biodefence planning and structures.
00:24:17.000 Same people after it had already gone wrong.
00:24:19.000 That's ridiculous, isn't it?
00:24:20.000 What if we just carry on doing what caused all this?
00:24:22.000 That's good.
00:24:23.000 OK, let's try it.
00:24:24.000 I suppose we will make more money and be able to introduce new... Yeah, yeah, carry on.
00:24:29.000 The National Security Council worked to craft COVID-19 policies.
00:24:32.000 The Department of Defense officials were heavily involved in vaccine development and distribution.
00:24:36.000 Out of 90 Operation Warp Speed leaders, 60 were military officials.
00:24:40.000 I remember the first time I heard that.
00:24:41.000 I was like, nah, that can't be true.
00:24:43.000 It can't be a military operation.
00:24:45.000 But it was.
00:24:46.000 Despite the controversy surrounding COVID origins, the Department of Defense awarded a new $3 million grant to EcoHealth Alliance in December 2022.
00:24:54.000 They must have some idea that these grants are potentially contributing to the very problem that they're purportedly trying to solve.
00:25:01.000 So either they don't care about that or they haven't worked it out.
00:25:04.000 So you've got to choose between ineptitude and glaring malfeasance.
00:25:08.000 And neither of those options means that the same people or same system should continue to be deployed indefinitely or even really for another day.
00:25:15.000 I mean, why would you put up with any of these people?
00:25:17.000 No wonder anti-establishment, anti-legacy media, anti-state rhetoric is on the rise.
00:25:21.000 It's because of this.
00:25:21.000 It's not because everyone suddenly doesn't like immigrants and suddenly everyone Everyone's gone racist.
00:25:25.000 This is an arse ache to go through this, isn't it, and work out fury and cleavage sites and funding and biodefence.
00:25:30.000 It's not straightforward, is it?
00:25:32.000 And then people try to mock, oh, educating yourself.
00:25:34.000 That's a conspiracy theory, too.
00:25:36.000 If you didn't go to university, you've got no business thinking.
00:25:39.000 But when you do this, you realise, oh, yeah, that vague sense I had that I can't trust these people is actually verifiable.
00:25:46.000 on a molecular level, and on a bureaucratic and political and financial level.
00:25:50.000 So, I withdraw my trust, I withdraw my cooperation, I withdraw my good faith, and I have nothing to offer you but my endless undying opposition.
00:25:59.000 Gain-of-function research is largely continuing apace.
00:26:02.000 Across the US, there are privately operated invisible biolabs that slip through the cracks in federal regulation.
00:26:08.000 Of course, they're loophole experts.
00:26:10.000 What's going on there?
00:26:11.000 Nothing.
00:26:12.000 What are they bloody doing in that building?
00:26:14.000 Nothing.
00:26:14.000 Basically nothing.
00:26:15.000 Bioweapons.
00:26:16.000 Last year, public health officials found that one of these secret privately owned biolabs in California was mishandling 1,000 laboratory mice and samples of various infectious diseases.
00:26:26.000 We're clumsy, cack-handed, like a thousand of them all just running around like mouse hunts.
00:26:32.000 The immense trust once given to scientific groups, public health institutions and pharmaceutical companies has been lost.
00:26:37.000 In some ways, this is positive.
00:26:39.000 Many people are now far more aware of scientists' fallibility, leaving us less vulnerable to future abuses of power.
00:26:44.000 Hopefully, we continue to see greater oversight, but it is still up to the public to remain sceptical and vigilant.
00:26:49.000 Indeed, beyond sceptical and vigilant, I would say you have to become almost Tenacious and revolutionary.
00:26:56.000 How do we deal with this at this point?
00:26:57.000 Now that we know that it's likely came from that lab, it likely came as a result of American taxpayer-funded research.
00:27:02.000 It was part of a bioweapons program that's always being controversial.
00:27:05.000 They're continuing to do stuff like that to this day.
00:27:07.000 They're giving grants to people and institutions and groups that were likely involved in that lab leak.
00:27:11.000 They're continuing to manage the information and claim that the truth is misinformation and the misinformation is the truth.
00:27:17.000 At what point do we withdraw our compliance?
00:27:20.000 I would say immediately right now.
00:27:22.000 Certainly my compliance has gone But that's just what I think.
