00:00:53.000 For surely this is the epochal moment where the global legacy media system is being fundamentally challenged.
00:00:59.000 No longer can they reign in or contain control of the narrative.
00:01:03.000 for the world's biggest online journalist and the leader of the globalist opposition,
00:01:09.000 if you want to see it in such reductive terms, are meeting for a conversation.
00:01:14.000 I'm minded of the Muhammad Ali phrase, I ain't got no beef with a Viet Cong.
00:01:19.000 What exactly is your individual personal beef with Russia?
00:01:23.000 And as Tucker says in his soon to be a PO call trailer, you might watch Vladimir Putin talking to Tucker Carlson
00:01:31.000 and go, I don't like this guy.
00:01:33.000 I don't like his policies.
00:01:35.000 In fact, I'd like to fund a war against Russia.
00:01:39.000 In fact, I'd like to ensure that NATO are able to be perpetuated going forward uninterrupted.
00:01:46.000 In fact, I'd like to have my children and myself conscripted into an army in order to fight against the Russian military machine.
00:01:55.000 Or you might watch and go, hang on a minute.
00:01:58.000 Sounds to me like NATO knew that they were provoking Russia into a conflict and continued anyway.
00:02:04.000 You might watch it and decide, hey, hang on a minute, what is this Ukrainian democracy that we're fighting for?
00:02:11.000 A democracy where there's only one set of media that's allowed.
00:02:15.000 A democracy where elections are cancelled.
00:02:18.000 But what is really exposed to me is the nature of propaganda.
00:02:22.000 Western propaganda.
00:02:24.000 Let's have a look at Tucker's, the first part of Tucker's trailer.
00:02:27.000 We're in Moscow tonight.
00:02:28.000 We're here to interview the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
00:02:31.000 We'll be doing that soon.
00:02:33.000 There are risks to conducting an interview like this, obviously, so we've thought about it carefully over many months.
00:02:40.000 Here's why we're doing it.
00:02:41.000 First, because it's our job.
00:02:43.000 We're in journalism.
00:02:45.000 Our duty is to inform people.
00:02:47.000 Two years into a war that's reshaping the entire world, most Americans are not informed.
00:02:53.000 They have no real idea what's happening in this region, here in Russia or 600 miles away in Ukraine.
00:03:00.000 But they should know.
00:03:01.000 They're paying for much of it, in ways they might not fully yet perceive.
00:03:06.000 Does that seem reasonable to you?
00:03:08.000 You're paying for this war through your tax dollars.
00:03:11.000 You should know what it's about.
00:03:13.000 Now, I'm gonna back myself here and I'm gonna back you.
00:03:17.000 I reckon I'll be able to watch Vladimir Putin talking to Tucker Carlson.
00:03:20.000 It's not like it's, I don't know, Clint Eastwood or Brad Pitt and I'm gonna get all sweaty.
00:03:25.000 Oh my god, he's so charismatic!
00:03:26.000 I don't care what he says, I'm on board.
00:03:28.000 I'm going to have to watch and go, right, this guy used to be in the KGB, he's a world
00:03:32.000 leader, I'm sure there's all sorts of tyranny and hypocrisy and control going on in Russia,
00:03:38.000 but what he's...
00:03:39.000 You know what he's going to say, he's going to say this, I don't want Ukraine in NATO,
00:03:43.000 I don't think NATO should be expanding into former Soviet territories.
00:03:47.000 We want some autonomy in the Donbass region for Russian nativists and Crimea's off the table.
00:03:54.000 And with that deal, because they already had a treaty before Boris Johnson, UK Prime Minister, went over there and scuppered it at the behest of Joe Biden.
00:04:01.000 There was a treaty already and we don't talk about that.
00:04:04.000 Why don't we talk about that in the legacy media?
00:04:07.000 Because it's not part of the agenda they want to elevate and escalate because they are obviously partnering the military-industrial complex who benefit from this war.
00:04:16.000 Even your so-called border bill includes 60 billion dollars of further aid to continue to fund this war.
00:04:25.000 So we agree, right?
00:04:26.000 It's okay that Tucker Carlson conducts this conversation.
00:04:31.000 It's okay that we decide for ourselves whether or not we agree with what Putin is saying.
00:04:37.000 And it seems that it's a pretty significant issue and warrants debate, conversation, transparency, and clarity.
00:04:46.000 So in this part of the video, he talks about the effects of war on the population and he talks about economy.
00:04:50.000 Let's get into that.
00:04:51.000 The war in Ukraine is a human disaster.
00:04:54.000 It's left hundreds of thousands of people dead.
00:04:57.000 An entire generation of young Ukrainians.
00:04:59.000 And it's depopulated the largest country in Europe.
00:05:03.000 But the long-term effects are even more profound.
00:05:06.000 This war has utterly reshaped the global military and trade alliances, and the sanctions that followed have as well, and in total, they have upended the world economy.
00:05:17.000 The post-World War II economic order, the system that guaranteed prosperity in the West for more than 80 years, is coming apart very fast, and along with it the dominance of the U.S.
00:05:27.000 dollar.
00:05:28.000 These are not small changes.
00:05:30.000 They are history-altering developments.
00:05:33.000 They will define the lives of our grandchildren.
00:05:36.000 I suppose what Tucker's proposing there is that a conversation around epochal, global, geopolitical events that may define political, social, and cultural life for generations to come warrants conversation.
00:05:51.000 Are you confident that CNN, the BBC, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Trusted News Initiative, and look into that organisation, are you confident that their version of events has your best interests at heart?
00:06:05.000 Based on what you've seen in the global media machine, are you convinced that what they care about is the quality of your life, your freedom, your appreciation of reality, or do they, and here comes a ball right out of left field, care about control?
00:06:20.000 Establishing absolute control.
00:06:22.000 Shutting down dissent wherever it's available.
00:06:24.000 Just take a glance at the hate speech laws in Ireland.
00:06:27.000 Just take a look at the censorship bill in Canada.
00:06:31.000 In our country, the United Kingdom.
00:06:32.000 Proposed censorship laws in the EU.
00:06:34.000 Hmm.
00:06:35.000 Seeing a hell of a lot of control, not seeing all of the love that one might expect to see if what we are expected to believe is that the globalist establishment is about care and concern.
00:06:46.000 The next part of this conversation is about propaganda.
00:06:49.000 What You're gonna hear a lot of, oh Tucker's a propagandist, he's a Putin apologist, he's giving Putin a platform, all of that stuff that people like to try out in situations like this.
00:06:58.000 I would remind you, Vladimir Zelensky went to the Golden Globes and thanked JP Morgan.
00:07:06.000 Went to the Golden Globes and thanked Blackrock Impulse.
00:07:10.000 Thank you, Blackrock, for your investment.
00:07:12.000 Now, I'm not saying that the Ukrainian people oughtn't be protected.
00:07:15.000 Of course they should.
00:07:17.000 Of course the waste of Ukrainian lives is one of the biggest consequences and biggest stains upon our global character generated by this conflict.
00:07:27.000 But when you're talking about propaganda, when you see Sean Penn giving an Oscar, I mean, what's being propagandized is the Ongoing defense of a seemingly unwinnable military conflict against an unassailable conflict that ought be curtailed at the earliest possible opportunity through diplomacy.
00:07:48.000 Is that crazy?
00:07:49.000 Is that crazy?
00:07:50.000 Or is that, I don't know, common sense?
00:07:52.000 Most of the world understands this perfectly well.
00:07:53.000 They can see it.
00:07:54.000 Ask anyone in Asia or the Middle East what the future looks like.
00:07:59.000 And yet the populations of the English-speaking countries seem mostly unaware.
00:08:03.000 They think that as nothing has really changed.
00:08:05.000 And they think that because no one has told them the truth.
00:08:09.000 Their media outlets are corrupt.
00:08:12.000 They lie to their readers and viewers.
00:08:14.000 And they do that mostly by omission.
00:08:16.000 Omission.
00:08:16.000 They don't report on vital truths consistently.
00:08:20.000 We know this.
00:08:21.000 That's why if you're watching this on YouTube, we want you to click the link in the description and join us in the freedom speech, free speech stream that is Rumble.
00:08:30.000 Not so that we can engage in hateful language or needless cruelty or senselessness.
00:08:36.000 On the contrary, I believe in your individual autonomy.
00:08:39.000 I believe in your right to be who you are.
00:08:41.000 I believe in your right to access information and determine and decide the truth for yourself.
00:08:47.000 And that is the very thing that terrifies them.
00:08:49.000 And that's why they're going into meltdown right now.
00:08:53.000 For example, since the day the war in Ukraine began, American media outlets have spoken to scores of people from Ukraine, and they have done scores of interviews with Ukrainian President Zelensky.
00:09:05.000 We ourselves have put in a request for an interview with Zelensky, and we hope he accepts.
00:09:09.000 But the interviews he's already done in the United States are not traditional interviews.
00:09:13.000 They are fawning pep sessions specifically designed to amplify Zelensky's demand that the U.S.
00:09:18.000 enter more deeply into a war in Eastern Europe and pay for it.
00:09:23.000 That is not journalism.
00:09:25.000 It is government propaganda.
00:09:27.000 Propaganda of the ugliest kind, the kind that kills people.
00:09:31.000 At the same time, our politicians and media outlets have been doing this That's odd, isn't it?
00:09:39.000 Promote a foreign leader like a consumer brand.
00:09:41.000 That's extraordinary.
00:09:42.000 The language of commerce, the language of branding.
00:09:45.000 We've been so coached in that lexicon and that vernacular that it's all we're able to see.
00:09:50.000 The reductivism, the simplification of believing that a particular product will make you feel youthful or exciting or sexy.
00:09:58.000 That kind of mentality is being applied at the level of global politics now.
00:10:02.000 One Western journalist has bothered to interview the president of the other country involved in this conflict, Vladimir Putin.
00:10:09.000 Most Americans have no idea why Putin invaded Ukraine, or what his goals are now.
00:10:13.000 They've never heard his voice.
00:10:15.000 That's wrong.
00:10:16.000 Americans have a right to know all they can about a war they're implicated in.
00:10:21.000 And we have the right to tell them about it, because we are Americans, too.
00:10:24.000 Freedom of speech is our birthright.
00:10:27.000 We were born with the right to say what we believe.
00:10:30.000 That right cannot be taken away, no matter who is in the White House.
00:10:34.000 But they're trying anyway.
00:10:36.000 Almost three years ago, the Biden administration illegally spied on our text messages and then leaked the contents to their servants in the news media.
00:10:43.000 It's amazing, they illegally spied on them.
00:10:46.000 This is how the machine functions.
00:10:51.000 Illegal surveillance, spying.
00:10:53.000 This is the machine that we are dealing with.
00:10:55.000 This is the machine that will do anything it can to shut down dissenting voices and then claims it's doing it.
00:11:01.000 For your benefit, thank God we're able to freely stream here on this platform where free speech is a sacred right and certainly a legal right.
00:11:10.000 They did this in order to stop a Putin interview that we were planning.
00:11:14.000 Last month we're pretty certain they did exactly the same thing once again, but this time we came to Moscow anyway.
00:11:21.000 Pretty bold, brave stuff there.
00:11:24.000 I mean, what they'll say on the legacy media is, oh, it's not brave because Tucker knows he'll get a favorable audience, but What does that matter?
00:11:30.000 All we're really asking, it's pretty basic, is would you like to hear the perspectives of Vladimir Putin before endorsing a $188 billion bill that's calling itself a border bill when $60 billion of that funding is going to the Ukraine, when you know Ukraine's democracy is pretty dubious.
00:11:50.000 They're cancelling elections even though Joe Biden won't debate.
00:11:53.000 Nobody won't turn up in his own primaries even though we're censoring and shutting down information and using the CIA to prime media organizations to ignore true stories about laptops that are dubious.
00:12:05.000 So this is Jen Psaki.
00:12:07.000 Now remember that Jen Psaki, firstly, this is not judgment of anyone of a human being.
00:12:11.000 I believe in God.
00:12:12.000 I believe in the Lord.
00:12:13.000 I love the light.
00:12:13.000 I'm trying to be a better person.
00:12:15.000 Jen Psaki, as far as I'm concerned, she's an expression of absolute divinity.
00:12:19.000 My concern is that as a former White House press correspondent and secretary, she ain't able to be all that objective.
00:12:26.000 Look at the condemnation of the Tucker Carlson interview.
00:12:28.000 You're gonna love this.
00:12:29.000 It'd be worth asking yourself, since it is getting pretty serious, what is this really about?
00:12:34.000 Why do I hate Putin so much?
00:12:36.000 Has Putin ever called me a racist?
00:12:38.000 Has he threatened to get me fired for disagreeing with him?
00:12:41.000 So why does permanent Washington hate him so much?
00:12:44.000 If you've been watching the news you know that Putin is having a border dispute with a nation called Ukraine.
00:12:50.000 Border dispute is certainly one way to characterize a major military invasion.
00:12:55.000 Even that first point of saying using the word border dispute or the term border dispute is disingenuous and misleading.
00:13:02.000 That's an astonishing approach because In the legacy media analysis of this conflict, you won't hear any talk of the 2014 coup.
00:13:11.000 You won't hear any talk of NATO's role in provoking Russia.
00:13:16.000 Even Jens Stoltenberg, as you know, said that Putin made it explicitly clear that expansion into former Soviet territory or an attempt to get Ukraine to join NATO would be met with military action.
00:13:28.000 You could say that's wrong all day long.
00:13:30.000 Then you should probably have a look at whether or not you feel it's possible for Ukraine to win a war against Russia, whether or not you want to fund it through your tax dollars, whether or not you want conscription in the country you live in, and whether or not you can rely on the legacy media who decry what they call propaganda while simultaneously propagandizing an issue.
00:13:51.000 Of course, Carlson is now just another far-right conspiracy peddler with a show on the internet.
00:13:55.000 He's no longer on Fox, as we all know.
00:13:57.000 Do you know how disingenuous that is?
00:13:59.000 They panic all the live long day about the power of online and independent media.
00:14:03.000 They are terrified.
00:14:04.000 They realize the jig is up.
00:14:06.000 They're falling apart.
00:14:07.000 Their views are falling.
00:14:09.000 Their influence is crumbling.
00:14:11.000 Their ability to control your consciousness, to manipulate your attention, to shut you down is waning.
00:14:17.000 They're panicking.
00:14:18.000 So being derisory, and what about the rest of the time?
00:14:21.000 This is an MSNBC host.
00:14:23.000 When they talk about Fox normally, I hate Fox News.
00:14:25.000 They loathe Fox News.
00:14:27.000 Now that Tucker's not on Fox, she attempts to use that as a type of slur, as if Fox were a badge of honour, an endorsement, a kind of blue chip organisation.
00:14:37.000 No.
00:14:37.000 And he's apparently been spending the last few days in Moscow for some reason.
00:14:41.000 Who knows?
00:14:42.000 We don't know why.
00:14:42.000 He has to stay relevant somehow, so I guess we'll learn in the coming days.
00:14:45.000 Maybe.
00:14:46.000 But his position on Putin and Russia's invasion of Ukraine, one that would have been That's a really interesting point.
00:14:57.000 That Jen Psaki is complaining that the Republican Party are no longer hawkish enough.
00:15:03.000 10 years ago, we had wars for any reason.
00:15:06.000 10 years ago, it didn't matter if you had weapons of mass destruction or not.
00:15:10.000 We were coming for you!
00:15:11.000 Astonishing, yeah, and someone's pointed out, stay relevant.
00:15:14.000 That is, like, as if Tucker Carlson needs to stay relevant.
00:15:18.000 We're doing a news show on him doing a news show.
00:15:20.000 What he's doing is manipulating, altering, shifting the way that news is conveyed.
00:15:26.000 In a way, I'm really glad they said that because that's one of the attacks they use on me.
00:15:30.000 Russell Brown, I always feel a bit hurt by that, like, oh god, am I trying to stay relevant?
00:15:34.000 Is that what I'm trying to do?
00:15:35.000 But actually, I realise what I'm trying to do is participate in truth.
00:15:38.000 What I'm actually trying to do is participate as best I can in the elevation of our collective consciousness to create conditions where we can freely disagree with one another.
00:15:47.000 become now the majority view within the party. Because Republicans in Congress have been
00:15:53.000 delaying additional aid to Ukraine since October. Today House Republican leadership rejected
00:15:59.000 any possibility of voting for the Senate's bipartisan compromise bill that would have
00:16:03.000 provided funding for Ukraine, Israel and the US border.
00:16:07.000 It's the compromise bill, it's something for everyone, 60 billion for Ukraine.
00:16:12.000 It's astonishing to suggest that these issues are not at least tangentially connected.
00:16:18.000 Tucker Carlson is interviewing Vladimir Putin to hear what Russia's perspective on war and potentially peace is, while a bill is struggling to be passed that includes 60 billion dollars of additional military aid for Ukraine.
00:16:33.000 It's hardly Irrelevant.
00:16:36.000 We wanted to remain prosperous and free.
00:16:39.000 We paid for this trip ourselves.
00:16:40.000 We took no money from any government or group.
00:16:43.000 Nor are we charging people to see the interview.
00:16:45.000 It is not behind a paywall.
00:16:47.000 Anyone can watch the entire thing, shot live to tape and unedited, on our website, tuckercarlson.com.
00:16:54.000 Elon Musk, to his great credit, has promised not to suppress or block this interview once we post it on his platform, X, and we're grateful for that.
00:17:03.000 The Elon Musk-Tucker Carlson axis is a terrifying thing for the legacy media and the globalist establishment.
00:17:11.000 Between them, they get access to interviews like this one between Putin and Tucker Carlson, and through Musk and his determination to keep X a free speech space, now have the ability to broadcast unedited, which I think is a really bold move, and unexpurgated content.
00:17:28.000 You won't get that from the legacy media.
00:17:30.000 Now if, like, people are saying, well, you know, MSNBC have applied to interview Putin and he refused, well, maybe because he might imagine that the interview would be manipulated and used in order to generate particular outcomes.
00:17:43.000 Just for a moment consider that YouTube have banned Russia Today.
00:17:48.000 Russia Today is just, like, You know, CNN or BBC, it's just state media of Russia.
00:17:54.000 Of course it will give you a favourable perspective of the agenda of Russia.
00:17:59.000 And then you, as an individual, go, well, seems pretty pro-Russian, this take on the news, but then it's Russia today.
00:18:05.000 But what they pretend is, is that MSNBC or CNN or Fox are being objective about the news.
00:18:11.000 This is the objective perspective.
00:18:14.000 What you're going to get from Tucker Carlson is an American patriot's perspective on a conflict that could potentially be ended a lot more easily if the agenda were not to continue it but to reach a diplomatic peaceful solution that will be beneficial to everybody significantly and perhaps even mostly Ukrainian people.
00:18:37.000 Governments, by contrast, will certainly do their best to censor this video on other less principled platforms because that's what they do.
00:18:45.000 They are afraid of information they can't control.
00:18:47.000 OdiumLXV points out that Russia today is on Rumble.
00:18:51.000 Yeah, exactly.
00:18:52.000 Exactly.
00:18:54.000 Rumble can't be on in France anymore because France, in their mad Macron globalist new era, doesn't want free speech.
00:19:01.000 That's why I'm always saying to you lot, be nice to each other in the chat.
00:19:05.000 Because if people look at the Rumble chat and everyone's just going, freedom, I don't care what religion you are, I believe in your freedom.
00:19:10.000 I don't care what your identity is, I believe in your freedom.
00:19:12.000 They'll go, oh no, these people are amazing, they're the future.
00:19:16.000 When they look in there and it's like, I hate people who read that book or wear that hat or that shawl.
00:19:21.000 And it's like, see, it's full of hate speech.
00:19:23.000 We have to be better.
00:19:25.000 We have to be better.
00:19:27.000 But you have no reason to be afraid of it.
00:19:30.000 We are not encouraging you to agree with what Putin may say in this interview.
00:19:34.000 But we are urging you to watch it.
00:19:36.000 You should know as much as you can.
00:19:38.000 And then, like a free citizen and not a slave, you can decide for yourself.
00:19:44.000 Thanks.
00:19:44.000 Like a free citizen and not a slave.
00:19:47.000 And isn't that what's at the heart of this, isn't it?
00:19:50.000 Let's have a look at some of the headlines that this has generated.

00:20:11.000 This is very deliberate editorialization.
