00:03:51.000And then I noticed recently when I was reflecting on intimacy and sexual intimacy that, like, say, if you're having sex with someone you don't know very well, like, That you could achieve this intimacy with them in the charged state.

00:04:08.000If you have intimacy in that state, it's sort of like really somehow glorious and weighty.
00:04:13.000And so I feel like that there's this what the occultists are doing.
00:04:17.000I wonder, it seems perhaps, you know, especially looking at Old Testament stuff, all these false altars and all the worship and the child sacrifice and all that stuff.
00:04:24.000It's like sort of generating frequencies, like you can frequency jump, maybe.

00:29:59.000No, I was just thinking, like, even that car wash, you were scared the first time you went through, and you were like, we got to go back through.
00:30:11.000What was scary, I tell you what's scary about that, I can track it very well, is it like Otto's car wash, right?

00:30:20.000So all the kids that work there and volunteers dress up in masks.

00:30:27.000And I could feel in these fucking redneck 20 year old kids, like they were getting into the kind of, like the madness was starting to come out.

00:30:39.000Michael Myers was standing there and it was so creepy because I mean, literally could have been the real Michael Myers.
00:30:44.000He was just standing there for the longest I was walking and I kept walking down the street and he's just standing there.
00:30:48.000And I'm like, dude, this could really be Michael Myers.
00:30:50.000He could literally kill somebody and everyone would just go about their business and not have a clue.
00:30:54.000The Otto's thing that we kept laughing at is like, They're going to have to regulate it at some point, but it's Florida and there is no regulation.
00:31:13.000And it's like, it's edgy because I suppose, isn't the point when you take, like, say if you come down a notch from the pastor saying, like, scripturally, the entity needs transmission, it needs circuitry, the electricity needs copper wire to travel on.
00:31:26.000So, like, if you take it down a notch from that, it's like, what?
00:31:30.000Is this within us that's kind of the ambivalence that there's ambivalence in a human being?
00:31:36.000If we don't go towards God and Christ, and great work with that praying that is so sincere and so lovely and so sweet, and I really sort of got the vibe of that man.
00:31:44.000And like, but like, if you don't do that, if you don't go that way, then you're sort of, I feel like open to it.
00:31:50.000Like, I feel like, you know, the eerie creepiness of it.
00:31:53.000Anyway, so when we went back to that Otto's car wash after the first time, I was like, fucking, this is good.

00:31:59.000But the second time, we like, we had cameras in the car and we had lights and it, Annihilated it.
00:32:04.000Yeah, annihilated it because every, all of the kids that were there were just like, you know, noticed us and all of that.

00:47:57.000This is interesting because I'm sort of open and I'm spiritual, but I also feel, um, even in spite of the tech all going down in the middle of it, a really creepy bit, uh, like, you know, there's audio, like there's audio under it, there's a musical bed under it.

00:48:25.000There's still, you're still trying to get a pace to keep it interesting and not just You know, if I let you watch the entire sequence, it would be a lot of walking through the house, you know, for an extra 10 minutes of footage, right?
00:48:37.000You don't have to convince me that documentaries can be made to make something that didn't happen look like it happened and metastasize past events to make them look evil.

00:49:07.000But, like, because I'm a person that also has a sort of a public profile and, like, you know, like the idea of credulity, the idea that people go, Russell Brand just happily played along like the.
00:49:18.000Sean Stone found the perfect stooge and dupe for his Blair Witch style project documentary.
00:49:24.000The ever gullible Russell Brand, who's never found a conspiracy theory that he didn't believe, played along aimably like a sort of the prophet of gullibility, emphasized on the prophet.
00:49:35.000You know, I mean, I face so much sort of like bullshit.
00:49:37.000Like, it's sort of like, it's made me like that.
00:49:39.000Like, but what, like, oh, if it was just down to me, I would, my sort of, my approach to it would be fucking hell.
00:49:45.000Like, that's why, that's how I want to be, is I want to be kind of like, oh my God, what did you feel when that was happening?
00:49:49.000What did, but something sort of holds me back.
00:49:51.000But then I also feel that all reality is charged with a sort of a protean force, like this room that we're in now and everywhere.
00:49:59.000And places, you know, you can through sigils and staging create power and energy and, Entities like Tucker says, actually, you know, all the most powerful people in the world have religious beliefs.
00:52:10.000This is me and Laura talking about the Lord, but hopefully it's accessible, informal, joyful, all of the things that He is.
00:52:27.000One of the things I wanted to talk about today was pearls and oysters.
00:52:34.000And I learned a lot yesterday because we went to a pearl farm and I did not know anything about.
00:52:46.000I did not know anything about how a pearl forms.
00:52:50.000And one of the words that came up was they get irritated or there's like a foreign.
00:52:58.000Particle object, but they get irritated, and that's what causes them to secrete the mother of pearl coating over the uh, what would the word be if it were the irritants,
00:53:13.000the alien irritant, the foreign body, yeah.
00:53:16.000So, which typically would be some bit of grit or something, because there's a famous saying it's the grit that makes the oyster, you know, yeah, exactly.
00:53:23.000And then, in the case of if you go to a pearl farm or somewhere where they're cultivating oysters, um.
00:53:30.000For pearls, then you are dealing with some sort of very technical insemination, I guess.
00:53:39.000Yeah, they're synthesizing the process and creating an initial insemination and then somewhat industrializing the process of creating pearls sort of on scale.
00:53:49.000I think it's like at some point there's six million, then it comes down to 600,000, and I don't know what the final amount of pearls they're able to make is.
00:53:56.000I do know that you're wearing one right now on your wrist.
00:54:54.000I don't believe in any of those impersonations of people.
00:54:57.000In fact, that's one of the things that sort of is happening this week the kind of collapsing of awful self.
00:55:05.000Because the world is a kind of counterfeit world designed like a pearl farm to stimulate you into a state of irritation so that the pearls you produce are worldly pearls, so the states you live in are worldly states, so that you remain captivated, conquered, captured here.
00:55:20.000But once you've had the calling, as St. Augustine did, as many of us do, anyone that's watching this, you've probably got some kind of curiosity about is there a version of Christianity that makes sense to me?
00:55:32.000And the kind of Christ that I've encountered is not the institutional Christ of any of the great.
00:55:37.000Churches, although I certainly see their value and their importance, on how often it's iterated that being a member of the church, Burroughs is amazing on this.
00:55:43.000She says, Yes, the church is fallen and broken, and she's a Catholic nun, but we have to remain within it.
00:55:49.000And the same thing is true of a family.
00:55:50.000Yes, our family is broken, or you might say about a nation, but we have to remain within it and work from within it.
00:55:56.000The problem comes, I think, when the entire paradigm, the institutions, the principles are false from the beginning, false, and trying to get you to bring your focus to false ideas, to cultivate a false self.
00:56:22.000It needs to trust at depth that there is another reality within you, and that when you access that, when you become a participant in that reality, it's like you're waking into a kind of heaven, not without suffering, of course.
00:56:57.000And, um, but more than that, we had a very beautiful experience, uh, because it was unexpected.
00:57:04.000Um, I learned quite a lot at that's for one.
00:57:07.000And in the moment, there was one moment where I thought, this is why I want to talk about this in Sunday service.
00:57:14.000Russell asked one of the farmers, How long are you working?
00:57:19.000Well, first of all, you said, So you're working with the invisible because before there, um, When they're doing the initial stages of this pearl farming, they are working with cells.
00:57:37.000And it's like 300 million or something.
00:57:39.000To give you an image of a pearl farm, you should consider a meth lab.
00:57:43.000Like it's very, like there's one room that's got all of these sort of test tubes in it, then there's another room that's got vats in it that are varying colors in saline solutions with inducing fluids.
00:58:27.000Place there and alchemy is always a fascination of people that are interested in transformation and transition.
00:58:32.000Doesn't our Lord continually talk about transforming us?
00:58:37.000You're a new creation, you're born again.
00:58:39.000Now, you can see that's neuroplasticity, or you can see it as a kind of inner alchemy.
00:58:43.000In the end, it becomes just semantics.
00:58:45.000But I just wanted them to have an image of it.
00:58:47.000I'm gonna just like rub this lens because it looks a bit sort of I don't know if that's the screen or the that's like a kind of a humidity or something.
00:59:31.000It's kind of a crate or cage, and then it's put into the ocean or into the water.
00:59:39.000And I wanted to ask you so, first of all, so I'm in my mind, I'm thinking, okay, well, how could we possibly talk about oysters and pearls in a Sunday service?
00:59:49.000But what I was brought to was this the word we've now said a few times so, irritant.
00:59:56.000Irritant activates this mechanism that copes the layer upon layer of this.
01:00:02.000Unbelievably beautiful, beautiful mother of pearl secretion.
01:00:09.000It creates the pearl, and obviously, the beauty is formed inside the shell.
01:00:16.000And all of the work above the ground in this particular case is done invisibly.
01:00:21.000And you could say it's even if it's a naturally found pearl, that's also invisible.
01:00:27.000I heard them say yesterday that they're worth millions because it's rare.
01:00:58.000I was a little bit frightened that something might come lurking from behind one of the cages and sort of jump out a sort of shark or something.
01:01:15.000You're looking down and it's just an abyss.
01:01:17.000And if you dive down a bit, you can see the cages with the oyster shells in.
01:01:21.000And it's an amazing experience to push yourself into a discomfort, to look like to be out there on the water anyway, I find scary.
01:01:31.000It's good that you were able to sort of stay on track with it because me, whether I'm at a football match or any kind of prescribed activity, I'm always kind of internally narrativizing it and trying to understand it.
01:01:44.000And I'm usually captivated by some secondary phenomena.
01:01:48.000Like it is very striking how what the Pearl Farm is like, that it's not so rustic as one might think and it involves.
01:01:54.000Chemistry and cultivation, this cleansing, marine biology, yeah, right.
01:02:00.000But anything like that, there's a tour for me.
01:02:02.000I think of my like favourite sketches that are around tours because it did so turn out there was a French couple, us and our kids, and a German couple.
01:02:12.000And when I go to them, oh, where are you from?
01:02:14.000And that one's couple goes, We are French, and the other one's, We are German.
01:02:17.000I'm like, Oh man, I sort of actually just threw up my hands.
01:02:46.000So I'm more like you, like, really, when you're on a trip, you're thinking about.
01:02:52.000I find it hard to think about the thing you're supposed to be thinking about.
01:02:54.000I think about like a brilliant League of Gentlemen sketch where they go into a cave and Mark Gaitis is sort of like.
01:03:01.000You learn over the sort of tour that there's been a tragedy in those caves, and Margotis keeps alluding to this tragedy and it undermines the tour.
01:03:17.000Any of these, and then there's lots of experience.
01:03:19.000I always feel like when I'm on a tour that I kind of, it's not like I want to disrupt the tour, but I find it hard to stay in the confines of the conveyor belt of the tour.
01:03:28.000And also, that's sort of like the fascination of the people.
01:03:36.000And I'm just really relating this to the idea that I was finding it difficult and it was a bit bleak and like because it was raining as well.
01:03:51.000Like, I'll come out of this and think, I'm glad I did that.
01:03:54.000But then we didn't know there was a secondary snorkeling experience on the trip.
01:03:59.000And so I go, when I said, Russell goes, are you going to snorkel on the second bit?
01:04:05.000And I said to the group, including the French couple and the German couple, what did I say, Russell?
01:04:12.000You sort of tried to convey to a multilingual group that you had mentally only prepared to do snorkeling once.
01:04:21.000But you said that like this oh no, I've used up all of my mental snorkel tokens.
01:04:27.000How's anyone whose first language is French or German going to stay on board with this bizarre image system of internal currency and tokens?
01:04:38.000And sometimes I just watch you when we're in a group.
