00:10:12.640But I came back a year and a half early to run for governor by Minnesota law.
00:10:17.080But they attacked that and put doubt in people's heads.
00:10:20.240Then they attacked me saying that I was violating campaign laws by giving away pillows to the little kids at parades like I've done for years.
00:11:22.020We had the feed coming right out of like every other outlet that had the direct feed so we could watch every five minute intervals as they're returning in these numbers.

00:11:41.520And then also the biggest thing, Alex, was imagine synchronized swimming, where all seven Republican candidates are always the same distance apart.

00:13:42.120by Minnesota law, you can do a paper ballot recount. And it's one of the few states you can
00:13:49.480do that with completely no use of the machines. And we requested that. They said it would cost
00:13:55.580between $400,000 and $500,000. And a week later, we had to wait until they had found out the prices
00:14:03.700from all the counties. They came back with $825,000 for the audit. I said, I don't care.
00:14:09.480We have the first opportunity in the United States for the biggest paper ballot hand count audit in history.
00:14:27.780He says, we decided we're only going to count you and Lisa's ballots.
00:14:32.440Remember, Alex, there was 1.1 million ballots with my name on it in that governor's race.
00:14:38.520OK, you could either vote Democrat over here or Republican here, but it was on the same ballot.
