00:00:00.000 The only thing that he can do now is try to win in order to rescue Israel from total destruction.
00:00:06.980 And Israel's in a lot of trouble.
00:00:09.020 You know, I was never in favor of this war.
00:00:11.120 One of the reasons was that I don't think that it's in the interest of the world or
00:00:15.520 even the Middle East for Israel to be destroyed. 0.76
00:00:18.340 And I was confident from the very beginning that if the Israelis and Americans pressed 0.83
00:00:22.620 down this road, that would be the end of Israel. 1.00
00:00:25.120 I think there's a very high probability that could turn out to be the case, particularly 0.81
00:00:29.160 Italy if we turn to the use of tactical nuclear weapons. And frankly, when it became clear that
00:00:34.540 he was willing to do whatever they wanted him to do for Israel, in other words, he said,
00:00:38.740 I'll be your Israel first president, just get me into the White House. They called off all
00:00:43.840 the operations that had formerly been employed to keep him out of the White House. And instead,
00:00:49.860 they put him in. The Zionist billionaires that control the financial markets in the United States, 0.97
00:00:54.860 They control the media. They control the banking system. They're running the Fed. 0.99
00:01:00.540 All of the Zionists, who are billionaires, want this war to continue. 0.96
00:01:04.680 But what would you do if you were President Trump and you'd staked everything on this, 0.91
00:01:08.680 and you are apparently obligated to Israel? And Israel wants the destruction of Iran.
00:01:15.140 What do you do? Well, you pull out all the stops. That's my greatest fear.
00:01:24.860 Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, second hour of The Alex Jones Show.
00:01:44.360 I'm your host, Harrison Smith, joined today by Colonel Douglas McGregor.
00:01:47.680 He's a decorated combat veteran, Ph.D., author of five books, and defense and foreign policy consultant.
00:01:53.340 You can follow him on X at Doug A. McGregor or Douglas McGregor dot com.
00:01:58.880 Welcome to the show, sir.
00:02:00.840 Very happy to be with you.
00:02:02.600 Well, very happy to have you here. 0.89
00:02:03.820 You have been bang on accurate the entire time of the Iran war. 0.93
00:02:08.880 One of the only people that seem to fully understand the catastrophe that this would be from the very beginning. 0.81
00:02:14.320 And here in this this first short segment, can you give me just the thirty five thousand foot view?
00:02:19.740 What is happening?
00:02:20.500 Why are governments telling us to prepare for 90 days, the hack attacks, the looming nuclear conflict that seems to be just around the corner?
00:02:29.420 What do these things have to do with each other?
00:02:31.060 Give us the bird's eye view of what's happening in geopolitics and the war right now.
00:02:36.620 Well, on the European side, European governments are falling apart and the globalists that lead them are clinging desperately to power.
00:02:44.580 They're trying to create the illusion that there's some sort of imminent danger of an attack with Russia.
00:02:51.100 There's no such thing.
00:02:52.820 So I would dismiss whatever the people in London, Paris, or Berlin are saying right now.
00:02:57.340 Let's look at the United States.
00:02:59.820 President Trump has put himself in a terrible position.
00:03:02.800 He'd like to get out from under it.
00:03:04.140 There's no doubt about it. 1.00
00:03:05.680 But he is enthralled by the Israelis. 0.67
00:03:09.380 He apparently is truly an Israel first president, and he has committed and obligated himself to follow through on this war to destroy Iran. 0.55
00:03:18.000 Problem is that Iran's not going to be destroyed. 0.64
00:03:21.040 And so if it's not going to be destroyed, how do you deal with it? 0.98
00:03:23.500 And I don't think he has an easy answer for that.
00:03:25.680 He's going to wait, I guess, until these midterms are over.
00:03:31.440 But I think the midterms are going to be a bloodbath if the polling is to be believed.
00:03:36.340 And, of course, polling is always questionable, but it does look pretty grim.
00:03:40.260 Then he's got to decide what he does after the first two or three days of intensive bombing, which I think will fail to deliver anything.
00:03:47.820 And that's really what we're talking about today, I guess.
00:03:51.000 And do you think that's what all of the warnings are?
00:03:53.800 We just played the video from Chris Murphy, I think his name is.
00:03:57.280 He's saying that, you know, he had a classified briefing and he calls their plans insane.
00:04:02.260 Seemed to me like he was hinting at nuclear weapons being used.
00:04:04.880 I mean, what could Trump do short of nuclear weapons that we haven't done already to Iran? 0.98
00:04:10.340 Well, you're absolutely right. 0.70
00:04:12.160 That's the question that has to be answered.
00:04:13.840 I think the question or the answer is nothing.
00:04:16.120 Right.
00:04:17.040 He's going to put every bomber into the air.
00:04:19.140 He's going to fill every bomber with every conceivable weapon at our disposal short of a nuclear weapon.
00:04:25.080 He's going to launch every missile.
00:04:26.800 And when that doesn't work, I think he's going to turn to the use of tactical nuclear weapons.
00:04:31.340 Now, I know for a fact that he has not yet made that decision.
00:04:34.880 that's on his desk. That's an option. But what would you do if you were President Trump and
00:04:40.560 you'd staked everything on this and you are apparently obligated to Israel and Israel
00:04:46.780 wants the destruction of Iran? What do you do? Well, you pull out all the stops. That's my
00:04:52.300 greatest fear. And it just it just is so I mean, insane really is the only word for it. And like
00:04:59.480 people like yourself and Joe Kent has said over and over, I mean, it feels almost ridiculous that
00:05:03.620 we're eight months in and the answer has always been the same restrain Israel until you restrain
00:05:08.700 Israel until America steps up and starts doing our own bidding rather than Israel's that's the 0.78
00:05:14.100 problem it's almost like we're fighting a fire for eight months and we keep suggesting that we 0.69
00:05:18.080 pour water on it it's like the solution is right there and we cannot get it done what could be
00:05:23.520 enthralling Trump to this degree where he's willing to you know take America down for the
00:05:28.740 sake of Israel I mean that seems like a ideologically committed extremist rather than
00:05:32.620 just like blackmail or something. What do you think could be behind this?
00:05:36.500 The Zionist billionaires that control the financial markets in the United States, 0.92
00:05:40.660 they control the media, they control the banking system. They're running the Fed. 0.97
00:05:46.320 All of the Zionists who are billionaires want this war to continue. They are sort of 0.98
00:05:52.580 committed absolutely 200 percent to Netanyahu and his dream of, you know, conquering the Middle
00:05:59.740 least for israel but this is also and you know i guess we're going to run out of time here very
00:06:04.820 shortly but we should talk about it a little bit more because at the center of this it's not just
00:06:08.460 israel although israel is the driving force and international jewish capital is the driving force
00:06:14.040 but you also have the interest in the oil resources and controlling those
00:06:18.380 the program leftists failed to silence it's the alex jones show
00:06:23.900 Welcome back. Ladies and gentlemen, this is The Alex Jones Show, alexjoneslive.com.
00:06:32.500 Make sure you're following us on X at AJNLive. You can follow at RealAlexJones. I'm at Harrison H. Smith.
00:06:38.440 Sitting in for Alex today, talking to Colonel Douglas McGregor. You can follow him on X at DougAMcgregor or douglasmcgregor.com.
00:06:46.320 You brought up such a good point there that I even tend to forget, which is you look at what Trump is doing and the decision he's making,
00:06:52.500 And you think, OK, what is it? Do they have a gun to his head? Are the Zionists that are around him threatening to kill him if he doesn't do this?
00:06:59.640 Like what explains this? And as you point out, the control that they wield in America, they could very, very well be holding a gun to America's head. 0.95
00:07:06.820 If you don't do this, the economy is going to crash and, you know, we're not going to fund your debt anymore.
00:07:13.260 I mean, they could really be holding America itself over a barrel and forcing Trump's hand in this regard. 0.86
00:07:18.900 Is that what you meant when you were talking about sort of the Zionist control of the media and the banks and everything? 0.65
00:07:24.940 Not necessarily that. 0.62
00:07:26.520 What I was talking about more than anything else is that these are the men who put Donald Trump into the White House.
00:07:32.780 You've got to go back and look at the period that it lapses between the first administration and his second.
00:07:39.900 And he had to essentially go to them hat in hand and say, all right, if you'll put me back in the White House, I'll do what you want, literally.
00:07:48.460 And you've got to look at people like Eisenberg and others who committed hundreds of millions
00:07:53.020 of dollars to ensure his defeat back in 2020.
00:07:57.660 And they were successful.
00:07:59.560 And frankly, when it became clear that he was willing to do whatever they wanted him
00:08:03.720 to do for Israel, in other words, he said, I'll be your Israel first president.
00:08:08.100 Just get me into the White House. 0.90
00:08:09.800 They called off all the operations that had formerly been employed to keep him out of
00:08:15.660 the White House.
00:08:16.220 and instead they put him in.
00:08:18.680 You know, when he takes a phone call from Miriam Adelson or Larry Ellison
00:08:22.180 or somebody else or Paul Singer, these people have control of his political destiny.
00:08:29.080 Now, if this midterms goes as bad as I think it probably will,
00:08:34.060 he's going to be very dependent upon them and their financial backing
00:08:37.200 to keep him in the White House.
00:08:39.200 Because if we lose or he loses the Senate and loses the House,
00:08:42.700 which I think is very probable, there are going to be voices
00:08:45.700 demanding that he be impeached and others with him. How do you stop that? Well, the people that
00:08:50.980 put him into the White House to begin with have enormous power and wealth. They own most of the
00:08:56.120 membership on the Hill at any given point in day because everybody's taking their money
00:08:59.820 through the lobby to do what they want. And as a consequence, he's going to stick with,
00:09:06.880 so to say, the date that brought him to the dance. And he's not going to change his approach at this
00:09:13.840 stage, because if he did so, he'd be very vulnerable. If he turned around and said,
00:09:18.040 I've given it lots of thought, you know, and I've decided this doesn't make any sense.
00:09:23.340 I'm going to withdraw our forces, disengage. We're going to sit down and talk with the Iranians and 1.00
00:09:29.960 see what kind of a new arrangement we can hammer out. And the reason I'm doing this is it's in the 1.00
00:09:35.440 interest of the world economy. If we persist on this road, we're going to send the world into a
00:09:40.040 depression. I don't want to do that. Now, could he do that? Well, I think he could if he decided
00:09:46.180 to act as Donald Trump. Remember, just a short time ago, he signed the Memorandum of Understanding
00:09:52.060 with the Iranians. And one of the people said, well, this is a surprise. Why are you doing this?
00:09:56.540 He says, I don't want to be Herbert Hoover. Right. All right. So he knows what's happening.
00:10:02.440 He understands the catastrophic consequences of this war for the whole world and its economy,
00:10:08.920 not just the energy or the structure of energy distribution across the world,
00:10:14.020 the entire world economy.
00:10:16.180 But he's pursuing it anyway.
00:10:18.560 Now, some people say it's got something to do with the Epstein files.
00:10:22.040 Who knows?
00:10:22.620 It may.
00:10:23.160 I've never seen them.
00:10:24.060 I don't know what's in them. 0.99
00:10:25.460 I'm sure it's horrifying, whatever is in the damn things. 0.99
00:10:28.700 And the Epstein class is 100% behind him. 0.99
00:10:31.720 Let there be no mistake about it.
00:10:33.720 So I think he's going to press ahead.
00:10:36.000 Now, why else would he do this?
00:10:38.780 Well, one of the reasons is oil. And you've got to go back to this project for a new American 1.00
00:10:43.720 century and a number of other things in the 1990s here in Washington to people like Richard Pearl
00:10:49.220 and Paul Wolfowitz and others who said the way for us to gain control of the world, we Americans,
00:10:55.080 to consolidate the unipolar moment, our hegemony over everyone, is to ultimately get control of
00:11:01.840 the oil resources in the Middle East, because then we will have China by the throat. And they 0.94
00:11:06.560 were always focused on China, China, China. And what do you hear from Trump recently? And what
00:11:11.260 have you been hearing until recently? China, China, China. So you've got this sort of
00:11:15.960 convergence of interest. Yes, we want to control the oil. How do you control the oil? Well,
00:11:22.540 you're going to have a tough time now because you ended up in a war with Iran that you're losing. 0.73
00:11:27.420 But the idea was if you knock Iran out and you retain control of the Arabian Peninsula and the
00:11:33.480 Persian Gulf, you control the oil. That opportunity is being lost. The only thing that he can do now 0.80
00:11:39.160 is try to win in order to rescue Israel from total destruction. And Israel's in a lot of trouble.
00:11:46.580 You know, I was never in favor of this war. One of the reasons was that I don't think that it's
00:11:51.300 in the interest of the world or even the Middle East for Israel to be destroyed. And I was confident 0.94
00:11:57.280 from the very beginning that if the Israelis and Americans pressed down this road, that would be 0.99
00:12:01.380 the end of israel i think there's a very high probability that could turn out to be the case
00:12:05.780 particularly if we turn to the use of tactical nuclear weapons well and whether you know the
00:12:12.100 war itself leads to the end of israel clearly they have destroyed their reputation overseas
00:12:16.220 to such a degree that 10 20 years from now people growing up are not going to feel the way about 0.98
00:12:21.400 israel like older people do they're going to cut them off and uh you know israel can't survive
00:12:26.680 without the help of countries like america so there's they're obviously panicking and desperate 0.88
00:12:32.820 to to make this work so what iran has succeeded thus far in creating a desert where there where
00:12:41.060 there formerly was done what do i mean by that the the world that you and i knew on the arabian
00:12:46.860 peninsula all these emirates these oil protectorates and staplets and saudi arabia itself
00:12:52.180 that we inherited from the British Empire, they're going out of existence. They're not going to
00:12:57.060 survive. That is a disaster for us because that's been the cornerstone of our influence and power
00:13:02.800 in the region. All of our bases have been destroyed or so badly damaged that they're not usable.
00:13:09.860 Why is that? Because Iran understands in order to defeat Israel, Iran must drive us out of the 0.92
00:13:16.960 region. We're out for all intents and purposes. It's pretty clear we're not going to go back in 0.95
00:13:22.140 again. We can't afford it. Now, why didn't somebody think of that before we started this?
00:13:26.960 Because they didn't understand the capabilities that we have been witnessing in Ukraine and now
00:13:32.380 seeing in the Gulf. And that is taking space-based surveillance, persistent surveillance, not just
00:13:38.660 from space-based capabilities and satellites, but also aerostats, unmanned aerial vehicles
00:13:47.940 and so forth, equipped, for instance, like Northrop Grumman's Global Hawk and so forth.
00:13:55.080 My point is that they linked all of this surveillance with Russian and Chinese help
00:14:01.140 and support to this vast array of strike systems that are all over the country and are very
00:14:07.580 difficult to find and very difficult to reach in these so-called underground missile cities,
00:14:12.120 where they also can produce rockets and missiles infinitely, infinitely for as long as necessary.
00:14:20.780 This whole capability, which I call ISR strike, I covered in a book in 2003,
00:14:26.540 called Transformation Under Fire. And basically, it's turned the battle space into World War I, 0.53
00:14:32.260 where you just can't move, you can't maneuver, because if you maneuver within the area that's
00:14:38.200 under surveillance, you're going to be targeted, identified, and destroyed. That's where we are.
00:14:43.700 So how do you win this? Well, it's very difficult to win. Even if you use nuclear weapons, I would
00:14:48.380 argue, there's no guarantee that you will win because these missiles and the locations for
00:14:54.180 them, along with the surveillance, are insulated against your use of nuclear weapons. Now, if we
00:15:00.480 were to go into space and we were to try and disrupt or attack Russian and Chinese satellites,
00:15:06.320 which play a role in all of this, we could find ourselves at war with China or Russia or both.
00:15:14.140 I don't think President Trump wants to do that. So there's no easy solution from a purely military
00:15:19.780 standpoint. And this bid for control of the oil resources is lost. So who wins? Who's the victor
00:15:27.040 in all of this? Well, obviously, Iran will come out of this as a great power in the region.
00:15:32.560 Next to Iran stand the Turks. They're the other great power. The rest of these Arab states will 0.63
00:15:37.860 be largely extinguished. Who knows what comes up to replace them? But the big winner behind all of 1.00
00:15:44.000 these? China. Because China is the one that has the money, the capital, to go back in and repair
00:15:49.880 the infrastructure. So China stands a very high probability of replacing us in the Middle East,
00:15:55.400 of becoming in the Middle East what we were for the last 80 years, the dominant power. 0.79
00:16:01.120 And along with China as a partner in all of this is, of course, Russia.
00:16:04.780 And both Russia and China have an interest in stability and peace and prosperity.
00:16:09.700 They're not interested in any war or any conflict of any kind.
00:16:13.760 And so they will go to great lengths once this ends to halt any further conflicts,
00:16:18.940 to bring the various parties together, to hammer out solutions and begin pouring capital
00:16:23.840 into the restoration of all the infrastructure that we've destroyed yes and at the exact same
00:16:30.500 time ukraine hits russian oil refinery ending pause and defying trump so our ukrainian puppet
00:16:36.620 state apparently uh is completely uh disobeying trump and continuing to cause more problems for
00:16:43.240 the global energy network and the the signals coming out seem to be increasing in intensity
00:16:49.920 Iran this week has hit more commercial vessels than at any other point in the war. They're
00:16:54.660 clearly not kowtowed or defeated to any degree whatsoever. And now you've got things like the
00:17:01.740 American military training the National Guard to dig 2,400 graves in 24 hours. I mean, what do you
00:17:08.760 make of that? Why would they be doing that? Why are they telling us they're doing that? Does that
00:17:14.180 say to you that we're intending boots on the ground in Iran? Because that seems like the only 0.85
00:17:18.420 time that such an act would be necessary? Well, let's go back to the beginning of this
00:17:23.700 discussion. Ukraine is in ruins. The country is half the size in terms of population than it was
00:17:30.000 at the beginning. The government inside Ukraine is hopelessly corrupt and widely hated and despised 0.61
00:17:35.840 by the population. They can't recruit people into the armed forces. If they try to get somebody to
00:17:41.080 go to the front, they have to send out press gangs and at gunpoint drag them into automobiles and
00:17:46.420 vans and send them forward. They've got perhaps 40 or 50,000 mercenaries from outside the country
00:17:52.440 to try and make it work, if you will, as a military establishment. Unfortunately, Donald
00:17:59.660 Trump doesn't have much control over the CIA. And the CIA and MI6 from Great Britain are the
00:18:05.580 ones who have been running the war in Ukraine. President Trump hasn't delivered on any of the
00:18:12.500 discussions that he's had with the Russians, where the Russians have said, well, without your
00:18:17.120 satellite data, without your information that we provide from reconnaissance aircraft and
00:18:23.380 satellites, Ukrainians couldn't attack us. They wouldn't know where anything was. They'd be in 0.75
00:18:27.880 the dark. And I think Donald Trump has probably told people, I want this to stop. And it hasn't
00:18:34.440 stopped. Radcliffe is on his own. He's on his own planet. He's very tight with Netanyahu,
00:18:40.060 but he's running this war against Russia. Now, what this is doing, it's making it difficult for
00:18:47.640 Moscow to exercise much more restraint for much longer. And so you have these massive assaults
00:18:54.180 on Ukraine to destroy everything that can be identified on the ground that has any utility,
00:18:59.260 everything from locomotives on railroads to rail yards to factories to buildings that could hold
00:19:06.360 any kind of manufacturing capability. The entire country is being devastated. It's only a matter
00:19:11.980 of time until Russian forces advance and potentially cross that river, because they know they may well
00:19:17.660 have to go into Kiev to rid themselves of this regime, because we refuse to act. And I think it's
00:19:24.000 not so much that Trump is refusing to act. I don't think he has control over the CIA, just as he is
00:19:29.640 not in control of Netanyahu. Netanyahu is in control of him. That's what people need to 0.81
00:19:35.700 understand. And so what do you make of the high profile firing of Lieutenant General Sylvia from
00:19:43.440 the Joint Chiefs of Staff? It seemed rather sudden. And now they're talking about, well,
00:19:47.420 they have referred him to criminal prosecution. To me, that says they're trying to stop him from
00:19:52.400 talking. They're saying that there are potential leaks coming out. I mean,
00:19:56.520 what do you make of this firing? What do you think this has to do with?
00:19:59.740 well first of all i don't know the details of the so-called leaks he's now suddenly accused
00:20:06.920 of leaking classified information about iran and ukraine i i don't know to be frank with you
00:20:14.320 we've had people in that building since the civil war who have periodically leaked information
00:20:22.060 to the newspapers this happened during the civil war uh you know grant had his hands full on more
00:20:28.360 the one occasion because papers would publish the, you know, plans that he had to implement
00:20:34.860 an offensive. During World War II and after World War II, the Germans said that their best source
00:20:41.080 of information about U.S. forces and what was happening next came out of U.S. newspapers.
00:20:46.420 So the leak problem is not new. I am concerned, I don't know, but I am concerned that this
00:20:52.640 particular general officer may have simply said the current plans under serious consideration,
00:20:57.660 whether that involves ground troops to seize an island inside the Persian Gulf,
00:21:02.260 which anybody with any common sense and understanding of contemporary military power
00:21:06.940 would rule out immediately as essentially a suicide mission,
00:21:11.420 it may be that he's objected to that and said so.
00:21:14.620 It may also be that he's very unhappy with Admiral Cooper's conduct of operations in CENTCOM.
00:21:21.880 I'm told that Cooper is extremely unpopular with the senior officers of the Pentagon
00:21:26.260 because he simply sort of doubles down on dumb ideas that come to him from Hegseth and the 0.92
00:21:33.380 president. In other words, nobody is standing up and saying, look, Mr. President, with all due 0.87
00:21:38.540 respect, we like you, we're glad you're here, but these ideas are disastrous. You must stop.
00:21:46.100 And nobody has stood up and said, well, Mr. President, if you persist in this, and we know
00:21:49.980 this won't work, or it could make matters worse, particularly if we use a nuclear weapon,
00:21:54.120 we're going to resign. As far as I know, that hasn't happened. But this man may have come
00:22:00.000 close to that. And I think Secretary Hague says it's the kind of personality who regards the
00:22:06.560 expression of dissent as evidence for disloyalty. And that's a very bad way to do business in the
00:22:12.960 building. If you can't trust the senior officers around you, yes, you should urge them to resign
00:22:19.340 or ask them to retire and replace them.
00:22:21.880 But if this kind of outright public punishment and an excoriation
00:22:27.460 and then subsequently accusing the man of criminal action, that's unheard of.
00:22:34.180 I think it's in bad taste.
00:22:35.860 I don't think it's called for.
00:22:37.540 I don't think it should happen.
00:22:39.340 I mean, it's just almost surreal the fact that this is just historically so well-known,
00:22:46.540 this pattern of okay if you get people around you that disagree with you and you get rid of all of
00:22:51.200 them then you're just going to have yes men i mean this it's like every you know anybody you want to
00:22:55.840 mention hitler to uh julius caesar it's like you stop listening or you have nothing but yes men
00:23:01.480 around you that's how the empire goes down it's just crazy that we're witnessing this in real
00:23:06.680 time and and none of the arguments are breaking through apparently because they're so uh what
00:23:12.180 well control the information that actually gets to trump and we have heard from you know congressmen
00:23:18.020 and others uh wall street journal top military admirals brief trump on iran options apparently
00:23:22.300 says you know prepare a couple war plans for me they present them to him uh the congressmen are
00:23:27.420 describing it as completely insane what's happening but they could stand up and expose what the plan
00:23:33.480 is right they have immunity on the senate floor how serious do you think you know the resistance
00:23:38.660 is from the the american government or do you think everybody's just in on it anyway and
00:23:42.920 pretending to be against it to save face i mean it seems like the american power superstructure
00:23:48.980 is all in on this and we are just not getting the truth from any uh any direction how do we
00:23:53.760 find the truth in this in this jungle i think i think you are closer to the reality than you think
00:24:00.420 uh i i'm somebody that has dealt with people on the hill off and on now for almost 30 years
00:24:07.180 how many of them have I run into who would say about the Iraq war? Well, you know, I was for it 1.00
00:24:14.940 before I was against it, but now I'm against it. It's kind of nonsense. You had Al Gore when he
00:24:20.120 was a senator back in 19, I guess it was 2003, could have been 1990, 91. But in any case, his
00:24:27.720 behavior was always the same. What do the polls say? What are you hearing from back home? If the
00:24:32.260 polls are for it, well, then yes, I'll vote for it. You're not talking about people of high
00:24:36.360 character. I don't know this man, Murphy, but Murphy was solidly Israel first. All of a sudden 0.98
00:24:43.800 now he's starting to back away. Gosh, I wonder why that is. I don't have much use for them.
00:24:49.140 And I don't know how much of what they say is true. What I'm saying about the senior military
00:24:53.680 leadership is the following. How many senior officers who knew by 1967, 68, that our position
00:25:02.380 in Vietnam was hopeless, and that the smartest thing we could do is to cut our losses and get
00:25:07.700 out. How many of them actually stood up and said, I'm going to have to tender my resignation, 0.99
00:25:13.620 Mr. President. I can't go along. I've come this far. I can't go any further. None. Nobody.
00:25:21.080 You know, this is the problem. This was the problem at Nuremberg. You know, sure,
00:25:28.040 many of these generals in the German military were brilliant men, and the question came up,
00:25:32.380 Why didn't you say no? Well, the fear was, well, I could be shot. Well, what happened to Germany
00:25:38.320 and your obligation to the German people and to civilization? The same thing is true now. 1.00
00:25:43.660 What about your obligation to the American people? Where do you really stand and whom do you serve?
00:25:50.080 The president is a temporary occupant of the White House. The Constitution is enduring or
00:25:55.060 supposed to be. So the bottom line is, how much do you believe that is in the media? I don't know.
00:26:01.980 I don't know the answer to that question. I'm simply saying this man may not be as impressive as he thinks he is or others do. I'm talking about this general. But I don't think the man deserves to be prosecuted as a criminal. I think that's outrageous nonsense.
00:26:15.360 Well, this is the problem, right? When everybody's lying about everything constantly and when you when you can't even judge on the basis of rationality, as you point out, sending troops on the ground to try to take these islands would be a suicide mission.
00:26:27.540 But so was going to war with Iran in the first place. And they did that. So you can't even say, well, this is just ridiculous. They would never do this. They do ridiculous things, which is why we're looking at all of these sort of signals and just trying to piece together what's actually happening right here. 0.90
00:26:42.180 Well, I would add one thing, if I can interrupt very briefly. Remember that this man, Cain, had been a three-star in the Air Force, was retired, and he was working as an advisor on a hedge fund in New York City that belonged to one of Kushner's brothers or something.
00:26:58.620 So, gosh, go figure.
00:27:02.040 He then comes out of retirement. They make him a four-star. And do you think that he was made a four-star so that he could present opposition to a war with Iran?
00:27:12.180 No, he was made a four-star because he was told, you know, this is what we want to do.
00:27:16.900 Can you go along with this?
00:27:18.040 Can you support it?
00:27:19.900 I mean, this is not the first time.
00:27:22.060 And as an airman, every Air Force officer thinks that the Air Force can win everything
00:27:26.120 without anybody else.
00:27:27.180 I mean, frankly, that's the sort of mantra in air power. 0.89
00:27:30.440 It's ridiculous. 0.95
00:27:31.600 It's destructive. 0.99
00:27:32.780 It's wrong.
00:27:34.100 But in his heart of hearts, I'm sure he believed that.
00:27:36.240 So here you go.
00:27:37.440 He gets in there.
00:27:38.180 And what does he do?
00:27:38.880 He says, we're going to go for it.
00:27:40.140 Now, here's this man, Sylvia, and I guess he's an army officer, and he looks at this 0.99
00:27:46.560 from a very different perspective and says, this is a very dumb idea. 0.99
00:27:50.080 It'll get lots of people killed. 0.99
00:27:51.440 I don't see any easy way forward.
00:27:53.660 I think we should probably cut our losses and get out.
00:27:56.180 I imagine he probably said something like that.
00:27:59.720 Ultimately, he was going to be attacked by Hegseth.
00:28:03.860 You know, Hegseth has this very sort of boyish way about him, full of energy and enthusiasm.
00:28:09.640 He's a cheerleader.
00:28:11.440 That's not what your job is as Secretary of Defense.
00:28:14.980 Your job there is a very serious-minded, sober one.
00:28:19.020 And you don't spend your time in front of the media popularizing your position as a Fox News host.
00:28:26.460 It's a mess. 1.00
00:28:27.900 The whole damn thing is a mess. 1.00
00:28:29.460 And the incompetence combined with the narcissism of so many of the senior people is leading us to disaster. 0.99
00:28:38.900 So when when Murphy says what he does, he may be sincere, but come on, where were you, Murphy, several months ago?
00:28:47.160 They weren't interested. They were going with the flow.
00:28:50.540 And even now they could, you know, demand a vote since that 60 day time period has expired and they're not doing it.
00:28:57.060 So that's why I have a little bit of trouble taking his warning totally seriously.
00:29:00.760 Incredible stuff. You know, I hope we can find a way out of this.
00:29:04.160 But everything is looking like we're headed towards a major disaster and escalation.
00:29:07.740 And thank you so much for being with us, Colonel Douglas McGregor.
00:29:10.200 Follow him on X at Doug A. McGregor, Douglas McGregor dot com.
00:29:13.580 Thank you, sir.
00:29:14.940 Thank you.
00:29:15.740 Bye bye.
00:29:17.900 The Pentagon preparing for a nightmare scenario, a global war that could knock out power grids,
00:29:23.340 cripple supply chains and leave military bases cut off from essential services.
00:29:27.380 A few days ago, we started covering inside the Pentagon's doomsday plan. 0.99
00:29:31.540 Team America fighting a global war erupts.
00:29:33.340 the Fortress Initiative envisions portable nuclear reactors, microgrids and strategic
00:29:37.720 reserves of munitions and fuel. And in the report, it talks about there not being power
00:29:42.960 here in the United States for up to three months and being able to run our military bases
00:29:48.140 and other facilities around the world for at least three months. We've been warning of this
00:29:53.480 forever, but the difference is now it is actually here, ladies and gentlemen. Well, the Pentagon
00:29:58.760 has a doomsday plane and now it's updating its doomsday plan, moving beyond its Cold War era
00:30:04.520 continuity of government planning, which called for key military leaders to retreat to hardened
00:30:09.880 facilities in Cheyenne Mountain in the event of an incoming nuclear attack. Now the Pentagon sees
00:30:15.800 a new nightmare scenario, a global war that knocks out America's power grids, cripples supply chains
00:30:21.920 and leaves U.S. military bases cut off from essential services. And they're saying that's
00:30:27.900 mainly for nuclear war with Russia and or a cyber attack and or an EMP.
00:30:32.460 So this is really escalating very, very fast.
00:30:36.580 And absolutely everybody should have 90 days of food, water filtration,
00:30:41.500 emergency gear, medicine, ammo, and a plan.
00:30:46.460 Other allies, including the UK, have been warning their populations
00:30:50.380 to stockpile 90 days of food and water just in case.
00:30:54.300 Under the new Pentagon initiative called Fortress, every major military installation in the
00:30:59.740 continental U.S. would be expected to operate independently for at least 90 days with its own
00:31:05.580 electricity, water, fuel, and communications. Documents obtained by Fox reveal plans for
00:31:11.880 portable nuclear reactors, backup power grids, and massive reserves of ammunition, critical minerals,
00:31:18.340 medical supplies, and spare parts. The Pentagon also wants civilian factories ready to switch
00:31:24.360 to wartime weapons production, alternative supply chains in place if foreign suppliers
00:31:29.960 are cut off, and military communications capable of functioning even if GPS and satellites are
00:31:35.900 disrupted. Experts agree America's next major war could reach U.S. soil through cyber attacks,
00:31:41.880 drones, and long-range weapons, particularly in a potential conflict with China.
00:31:46.080 The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support.
00:31:54.000 No civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water.
00:31:58.080 I don't know if it's next week or next month or next year, but when you have the Pentagon gearing up for this for the first time activating the COG systems,
00:32:05.420 economy of government, it is a massive deal. It is so critical for you to get ready, to have
00:32:10.960 solar systems, solar panel systems, to basic communications, and to have storable food,
00:32:16.860 water filtration, you name it. And so we've been working on this for over a year, having a
00:32:21.840 consortium clearinghouse with real high quality, healthy, good, delicious, storable food. That's
00:32:27.500 only one of the things at survivalnation.com. This site is already the widest selection,
00:32:33.120 storable foods site out there it's five major companies with the highest ratings we're going
00:32:38.600 to add even more as a clearinghouse where you can look at all the major storable food that's
00:32:43.180 available they're just all the vacuum of the computer drop ship through them from super low
00:32:47.600 price high quality to super gourmet at the most competitive price it's all there and the solar
00:32:52.780 panels and the communication radios and the sat phones and the knives and the tactical gear it's
00:32:59.400 all there at survivalnation.com. The Pentagon's getting ready for the lights to be off for three
00:33:03.660 months. So this is a win-win. Everybody needs to go to survivalnation.com right now. And there's
00:33:09.100 over a hundred vendors there. This is absolutely amazing. Survivalnation.com.
