The Anchormen Show with Matt Gaetz - Episode 100 LIVE： One Hundred Firebrands (feat. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene) – Firebrand with Matt Gaetz

00:00:00.000 We'll be right back.

00:00:30.000 We're in the right place. This is the movement for you.

00:00:33.180 You ever watch this guy on television? It's like a machine. Matt Gaetz.

00:00:38.000 I'm a canceled man in some corners of the internet. Many days I'm a marked man in Congress, a wanted man by the deep state.

00:00:45.900 They aren't really coming for me. They're coming for you. I'm just in the way.

00:00:50.980 Welcome back to Firebrand Live. This is our 100th episode.

00:00:59.080 And of course, here joining me, the person who helped us kick off this project, my good friend, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

00:01:06.460 Going to get into a lot of information with MTG, the debt limit, what's going on with Ukraine.

00:01:10.980 The live stream is going crazy with reaction to the separation of Tucker Carlson from Fox News.

00:01:17.340 We love Tucker. We stand with Tucker. Can't wait to get into that and what it means for the conservative movement and the populists who fight for the people.

00:01:25.240 There is a new tactic from Hunter Biden's legal team directed at MTG.

00:01:32.120 I'm going to get her reaction to that and share why I think it's very significant.

00:01:37.100 And everyone, every reporter in the Capitol building right now talking about the debt limit, the Republican plan.

00:01:42.800 We're going to go through our reaction to that and really our concern about the debt.

00:01:46.980 But first, MTG, welcome. And I want you to share with everyone.

00:01:50.260 You've got a new podcast project about ready to launch.

00:01:53.660 Tell everybody about it and how they can get a hold of it.

00:01:56.200 Oh, oh, I do. But first, I want to say congratulations.

00:01:59.240 Thank you.

00:01:59.960 100 episodes on Firebrand. That's amazing.

00:02:03.960 4.5 million plays on our audio platforms.

00:02:08.300 Our episode yesterday did over a quarter million views on Rumble, our favorite platform.

00:02:13.100 Had some go over millions, but all of our top episodes are our conversation.

00:02:17.920 So everyone likes you the most.

00:02:19.180 How can folks follow your perspective day in, day out on what's going on here in Congress?

00:02:24.280 Well, I started a new podcast.

00:02:26.840 It's called Battleground MTG.

00:02:28.880 And this podcast is so hot.

00:02:31.060 I've only had like one or two episodes out.

00:02:33.720 And I've already gotten a letter from Hunter Biden's legal team.

00:02:36.560 So I'm very excited about it.

00:02:38.620 Dylan Mulvaney is a little bit mad about me and mad at me of some of my comments.

00:02:42.040 But, you know, it is what it is.

00:02:43.700 I'm going to be speaking the truth.

00:02:45.040 And how can folks find Battleground MTG?

00:02:47.660 It's on all of my social media.

00:02:50.140 And when we're ready to put up a podcast, we go ahead and post and let everyone know.

00:02:54.840 We put the links there.

00:02:55.900 It's on my Rumble.

00:02:56.840 Of course, Rumble is fantastic.

00:02:58.680 They don't cancel people like YouTube does.

00:03:01.300 But no, we're getting these episodes out.

00:03:03.680 And I'm very excited.

00:03:05.220 Make sure to follow, subscribe.

00:03:07.280 And it's on your Rumble channel.

00:03:08.600 Folks can subscribe.

00:03:09.320 Yes, and it has its own web pages also, Battleground MTG.

00:03:13.500 So the big political news of today, Joe Biden, in whatever shape he's in, has announced that

00:03:19.900 he is running for president in 2024.

00:03:22.260 Honestly, I still don't really believe he's running.

00:03:25.180 I think he's just saying he's running.

00:03:27.060 I still think there's a chance this guy, that they put him out to pasture before then.

00:03:31.120 But I was, I guess not surprised, but I took note of the fact.

00:03:36.240 Wait, wait, I want to go back.

00:03:37.220 You just said put him out to pasture.

00:03:38.420 I think Republicans in the House should put him out to pasture through impeachment.

00:03:43.280 You know, I'm a big fan of that.

00:03:45.100 I'm a big believer in it.

00:03:46.480 It's constitutional.

00:03:47.540 It's the right thing to do.

00:03:48.900 And I think we're going to be proving that with our oversight investigations.

00:03:52.820 And especially the work on the border.

00:03:54.920 To me, the clearest case for impeachment is the border.

00:03:57.760 You've always said that.

00:03:58.560 Because it is on purpose. 1.00

00:04:00.600 And it's not just that they're incompetent fools. 1.00

00:04:03.540 It's that they're doing it on purpose. 1.00

00:04:05.220 Yeah.

00:04:05.400 So, so Biden announces and we get a starring role in his announcement video.

00:04:10.840 Sasha, play the portion of the Biden announcement clip.

00:04:13.800 It's got the Gates MTG cameos.

00:04:18.440 That's been the work of my first term.

00:04:20.680 To fight for our democracy.

00:04:22.540 This shouldn't be a red or blue issue.

00:04:25.780 To protect our rights.

00:04:27.220 To make sure that everyone in this country is treated equally.

00:04:29.960 And that everyone is given a fair shot at making it.

00:04:32.340 But you know, around the country, maggot extremists are lining up to take on those bedrock freedoms.

00:04:39.600 Cutting social security that you paid for your entire life.

00:04:42.900 While cutting taxes for the very wealthy.

00:04:45.000 Dictating what health care decisions women can make. 0.99

00:04:47.660 Banning books.

00:04:49.160 And telling people who they can love.

00:04:51.420 All while making it more difficult for you to be able to vote.

00:04:54.060 The live chat is love and MTG.

00:04:58.700 Peggy on Facebook says that she loves you.

00:05:01.980 And Butch on Facebook says you better impeach before the draft.

00:05:05.480 Oh.

00:05:05.940 The people think that darkness is coming with this Biden regime.

00:05:09.640 They see the evil in it.

00:05:10.700 And actually a lot of times people in Washington don't.

00:05:13.000 I think they're worried about the Ukraine war.

00:05:15.320 Or actually, no, it's the proxy war with nuclear Russia.

00:05:19.180 It's terrifying.

00:05:19.820 Well, I'm honored to be on that ad.

00:05:22.000 Yeah, so we've got to talk about the ad.

00:05:23.440 First of all, other than us, wasn't the ad pretty boring?

00:05:27.300 Like if you, I couldn't even play the whole thing.

00:05:29.620 Because I found myself disinterested in kind of how sad and lame and just mid it was.

00:05:36.860 Yeah, I thought it was pretty boring.

00:05:38.220 It's kind of funny.

00:05:39.000 It's the only time I find out Republicans are supposedly cutting social security is when I listen to Joe Biden.

00:05:45.360 And, you know, that's why I called him a liar at the State of the Union. 0.94

00:05:48.380 We all called him a liar. 0.57

00:05:49.440 I don't know what the takeaway from that is.

00:05:53.160 I think the takeaway from that is that you look terrific in white.

00:05:56.780 Thank you.

00:05:56.940 And I'm grateful that at least it's only half of my fat face that they put in.

00:06:01.680 It's almost artistic, really, that they didn't get like my whole moon pie face.

00:06:06.080 They just got kind of half of it.

00:06:07.600 So I looked like a Batman villain.

00:06:09.240 They only need half of your face. 0.96

00:06:10.620 Everybody knows your face.

00:06:12.220 Clearly.

00:06:12.580 But it shows the American people, actually, who the fighters are.

00:06:18.340 President Trump, you know, certainly us.

00:06:23.600 And it's just quite something that Biden thinks that that's the way to unite his coalition rather than putting forward any kind of agenda.

00:06:31.440 I mean, what is the Biden agenda other than socialism and the Green New Deal?

00:06:34.160 Well, his agenda is the destroy America agenda, the America last agenda, kill American energy, wide open borders, crime, rampant crime in our cities, transitioning kids under the age of 18 before they're able to graduate from high school, 0.99

00:06:51.880 mastectomies, hysterectomies, the trans agenda.

00:06:55.960 I mean, what is there to brag about?

00:06:58.580 So you responded to this ad with quite the tweet.

00:07:03.240 Throw the tweet up on the screen.

00:07:05.380 Joe Biden is running to stop extreme MAGA Republicans.

00:07:07.880 So let's define what extreme MAGA Republican policies are.

00:07:12.220 Secure borders, low crime, good education, good economy, strong dollar, America first energy, low foreign aid, affordable food, world peace,

00:07:21.100 strong military, two genders, this is where it gets dicey, protecting girls and girls sports, protecting our Second Amendment, rejecting globalism, making America great again, extremely great, free, wealthy, happy. 0.87

00:07:37.820 Extremely.

00:07:38.800 Extremely.

00:07:39.400 Extremely.

00:07:40.000 In every case, of course.

00:07:41.420 Of course.

00:07:42.280 So I feel like if they're going to attack us and call us extreme MAGA Republicans,

00:07:46.200 we need to make sure that America knows exactly what extreme MAGA means.

00:07:51.420 So I took to my Twitter and typed out what our policies are.

00:07:55.640 And you know what's great about it?

00:07:57.020 It's unifying.

00:07:57.920 There's nothing divisive about that.

00:08:00.220 We're trying to encourage and protect and advance people because we actually care about them.

00:08:05.440 Right.

00:08:05.780 And their futures.

00:08:06.820 I mean, if we're going to make America great again, we might as well make it extremely great.

00:08:11.180 Right, right.

00:08:12.080 As a positive feature.

00:08:13.260 So they know MTG is coming for them.

00:08:16.160 And that's why she has really shaken Washington.

00:08:18.920 From the first press conference you gave where I watched you torch the entire press corps

00:08:23.460 because you wouldn't let them define you to this very moment where you are leading on a lot of the key investigations on the Oversight Committee.

00:08:31.340 On Homeland Security as well, but on Oversight, you have really dug in to a lot of important questions.

00:08:36.960 And there is this fresh letter from the Hunter Biden legal team saying that accusing Marjorie Taylor Greene of conduct not reflecting credibly on the House.

00:08:49.260 The good news is I think they are subscribers to Battleground MTG.

00:08:53.060 Absolutely.

00:08:53.480 Because they do cite your episodes.

00:08:54.800 But the essential criticism, the reason Hunter Biden's lawyers are trying to distract and feed Marjorie Taylor Greene to the Ethics Committee

00:09:04.340 is because she's putting out true information and analysis coming directly off the Hunter Biden laptop.

00:09:11.360 So first, it was a conspiracy theory.

00:09:13.680 Then it was Russian disinformation.

00:09:16.060 Now it's true, but you're bringing discredit on the House by putting that information before the public.

00:09:22.780 Right. It's not the president's son and the rest of his family that is bringing shame or disrespect

00:09:29.060 and making all of America look bad by the contents of the laptop.

00:09:34.460 But even more importantly, Matt, what we read in the Treasury Department on these financial statements that are called SARS,

00:09:41.360 those are suspicious activity reports.

00:09:43.860 We read them with our own eyes.

00:09:45.680 I'm not making anything up.

00:09:47.140 This isn't conspiracy theories.

00:09:48.540 And you want to know why they're so upset?

00:09:50.860 Because they know they're not conspiracy theories, too.

00:09:53.880 And we have the bank records on the oversight committee that we've subpoenaed.

00:09:58.440 Jamie Comer is doing an amazing job.

00:10:00.940 Outstanding.

00:10:01.780 All of you are.

00:10:02.740 The whole committee.

00:10:03.460 The whole committee, the staff, and everyone.

00:10:05.300 I can't be more excited to be a part of the entire thing.

00:10:09.500 But they're talking about my behavior while trying to deflect away from Hunter Biden's behavior.

00:10:15.580 Is really remarkable to me.

00:10:18.460 The other thing that I thought was funny is they were saying, since she was elected in 2020, I was like, well, promises made.

00:10:25.800 Promises kept, everyone.

00:10:27.740 You know, so that's, I'm doing what I told my district I would do.

00:10:30.920 And they're happy with it.

00:10:32.800 I also enjoyed seeing your name in the letter.

00:10:34.540 I did, so that people understand I get a shout-out in the letter as a consequence of a tweet I had sent about Michael Cohen before his testimony to the oversight committee.

00:10:45.260 And folks didn't like that tweet.

00:10:46.800 Probably went a little over the line.

00:10:48.600 I could have said things better.

00:10:50.220 But here's what I said to the ethics committee at the time.

00:10:53.000 You guys don't want to exercise jurisdiction as the hall monitors of Twitter, where literally the House Ethics Committee is governing mean tweets.

00:11:01.180 Because if you do that, then every time someone gets their feelings hurt by a tweet, they're going to draw you in to that type of a refereeing enterprise.

00:11:11.120 And lo and behold, I'm entirely right.

00:11:13.200 Because the basis for jurisdiction that Hunter Biden's lawyers are claiming is that, well, since the ethics committee said that Matt Gaetz sent mean tweets,

00:11:22.920 they really should say that Marjorie Taylor Greene has said mean things about Hunter Biden, things that have hurt his feelings and that are concerning to him.

00:11:29.580 And here's what I think this tells.

00:11:33.500 Our friend Steve Bannon says, catch the signal, not the noise.

00:11:37.060 I do not believe that this is a sincere attempt to try to get the ethics committee to punish Marjorie Taylor Greene.

00:11:44.380 They are showcasing their fear because they know that the day is coming when Hunter Biden will be a seated witness before the oversight committee.

00:11:53.560 And the five minutes that they are worried about most are the five minutes where Hunter Biden has to answer questions from Marjorie Taylor Greene.

00:12:01.360 And so they are trying to use this as predicate.

00:12:04.180 I don't know if it's to try to say, oh, maybe you can't participate in the Hunter Biden hearing because of this letter or some pending matter.

00:12:11.020 But they're trying to use it to take you off your game.

00:12:16.440 Let folks know, is the day coming this Congress when you believe Hunter Biden will be sitting before the House Oversight Committee?

00:12:22.220 Absolutely.

00:12:23.000 And don't you think this means they know it, too?

00:12:25.180 Oh, they know it.

00:12:26.460 They know his time.

00:12:28.040 Look, the whistleblowers.

00:12:29.800 We've got the IRS whistleblowers coming out.

00:12:32.160 We've got other whistleblowers coming out.

00:12:34.220 I mean, these are people that you've talked to on your committee's weaponization committee.

00:12:38.260 You are talking to these whistleblowers. 0.99

00:12:41.160 These attorneys are not stupid. 0.99

00:12:42.640 They know they have big problems. 0.99

00:12:44.340 They also are playing politics with you and I.

00:12:46.680 That's why both of our names are in there.

00:12:48.440 We're the extreme MAGA Republicans that Joe Biden has to save the country from.

00:12:53.180 And again, what's wrong with making America extremely great?

00:12:56.740 Nothing.

00:12:57.800 Absolutely nothing.

00:12:59.060 Well, and I think, though, you have to look at how they come after some of our best.

00:13:03.780 And it's a different battleground that you face than a lot of Republicans do because they

00:13:09.620 know that's going to be the searing moment and the searing questions.

00:13:13.400 A lot of folks really were left believing that there would be more out of investigations like

00:13:21.020 the Benghazi investigation, the investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia hoax.

00:13:26.000 And there's a lot of hope that because you guys are breaking ground, nobody's ever broken

00:13:30.500 before, that it will be more successful.

00:13:32.380 And you mentioned those bank records.

00:13:34.300 I think people need to know what's key about how the Oversight Committee is doing this.

00:13:38.820 The Bidens always thought they could protect their own bank records, but they didn't count

00:13:43.180 on the fact that you would get the bank records of the cutout fake business entities that move

00:13:49.280 Chinese money into their accounts.

00:13:51.760 Just let folks know the methodology you're using in the investigation to go after those

00:13:56.960 middlemen and cutouts to map out the whole corrupt regime.

00:13:59.940 Well, most importantly, let's tell Republicans all over the country, thank you for putting

00:14:05.260 us in the majority in the House because that gave us the gavel and that gave us subpoena

00:14:10.120 power.

00:14:11.180 So because we have subpoena power and we're running this investigation, we're able to subpoena

00:14:16.400 the bank records of the LLCs.

00:14:19.160 Now, most people, if you have an LLC, you're running an actual company where you're selling

00:14:23.780 a product or providing a real service in exchange for payment.

00:14:29.100 That's not what the Biden family has been doing along with their partners.

00:14:33.040 Now, remember, they're not by themselves.

00:14:35.340 This isn't a Hunter Biden enterprise that he's running.

00:14:39.260 There's other people involved.

00:14:40.360 But these LLCs are like shell companies where money is wire transferred in from foreign countries

00:14:46.580 like China, Ukraine, remember Burisma, other countries in Africa, all over the world.

00:14:53.600 Money gets wire transferred into these LLCs.

00:14:57.080 And then there are direct payments out of the LLCs, the fake shell companies, to Biden family

00:15:03.140 members.

00:15:03.820 And we are not at four or five Biden family members.

00:15:07.240 We are up to 12 now.

00:15:09.800 That's a lot of Bidens.

00:15:11.020 So this is not a small operation.

00:15:13.700 Think of Joe Biden at the center of this entire operation.

00:15:17.960 He is surrounded by a cushion of wealth that has been created by basically money laundering.

00:15:25.680 That's what it appears to be.

00:15:27.820 That has come in through these fake LLCs.

00:15:30.880 And they're all getting it because of influence peddling with Joe Biden's power and position.

00:15:37.240 Whether it's senator, vice president, and now president of the United States.

00:15:42.580 Selling favors.

00:15:43.860 We vote a lot of bills, don't we?

00:15:46.080 We make policy.

00:15:47.380 That's what we do in Washington.

00:15:49.220 And if you can get paid doing it well, then you get really rich, just like the Bidens.

00:15:54.440 Follow the money.

00:15:55.420 That's what the Oversight Committee is doing.

00:15:56.980 Larry on Rumble says the public needs to see accountability.

00:16:00.620 Right now, a lot of this investigative work, we're doing depositions, document reviews, and bringing it to light.

00:16:06.840 I think it's going to be really important.

00:16:08.500 And I know you're going to be leading the way on that.

00:16:10.500 This week, one of the big topics is the debt limit plan.

00:16:13.920 And whether or not we are going to be able to even engage Joe Biden in a productive discussion about how to go forward.

00:16:22.260 Can anyone engage Joe Biden in a productive discussion?

00:16:24.540 He doesn't seem to be too eager about it.

00:16:26.760 The factors that we know, we have a four-seat majority.

00:16:30.860 And so if you have a number of people who have a disagreement with something that's coming to the floor, then it requires Democrat votes to pass.

00:16:38.080 On the debt limit recently, we heard our colleague Nancy Mace share her perspective against the McCarthy plan.

00:16:43.780 Take a listen.

00:16:46.120 So you haven't decided yet whether or not you're going to support this.

00:16:49.060 Right.

00:16:49.980 I'm leaning against voting for it at this time because I just don't understand why we can't have a conversation about balancing the budget, cutting spending, and doing so over the next 10 years.

00:16:59.220 Because inflation is still on the rise.

00:17:01.080 We need to grow the economy.

00:17:02.300 You've got to cut spending and cut taxes and rein some of that in in order to grow the economy at a rate that can overtake the debt that we've taken on in this country.

00:17:10.760 It's Monday.

00:17:11.660 This vote could happen as soon as Wednesday or Thursday.

00:17:14.300 I don't have to tell you that.

00:17:15.280 But what does Kevin McCarthy need to do to change your mind about voting yes?

00:17:19.060 Or are you pretty firmly leaning no, you say?

00:17:22.040 We're still going through the plan.

00:17:24.600 I have other concerns, especially on green energy.

00:17:27.080 A state like South Carolina, we have a lot of solar farms and solar energy, both presidential and commercial.

00:17:33.100 I want to find out and figure out what kind of adverse impact it might have on the state of South Carolina before we finally make that decision.

00:17:39.820 And there are other concerns.

00:17:41.120 And we're just still wading through it.

00:17:42.460 And the devil's always in the details.

00:17:44.220 Given you're not a yes yet, and McCarthy was saying yesterday he feels confident he has the votes, obviously you know it's a razor-thin margin.

00:17:50.580 Is he wrong that he has the votes?

00:17:52.100 What have you heard from other Republicans?

00:17:53.980 I haven't been whipping the votes, so I don't know where others are.

00:17:56.940 I know that there are several that are going to be a yes that might be a surprise to some people.

00:18:02.440 And there will be some surprise noses as well.

00:18:05.680 We'll see how it ends up in the next few days.

00:18:07.620 So I think when it comes to the general concerns about spending, we would share some of those concerns.

00:18:14.500 We want to create the maximum amount of downward pressure on spending.

00:18:18.460 Nancy May says she's not ready to support this plan yet.

00:18:21.020 I'll be candid with the audience.

00:18:22.460 While I'm still engaging in good-faith negotiations, I'm not there to a yes yet.

00:18:27.280 What's your perspective on how Republicans ought to think about the debt limit?

00:18:30.000 I basically think it's a tragedy and a failure of Washington, D.C. that we're all even having to face this vote.

00:18:37.740 And Matt, let's be honest, it's the last two years of spending over $7 trillion that has put us here.

00:18:44.640 True.

00:18:44.960 But I'll go even further.

00:18:46.320 I blame both parties, Republicans and Democrats, for decades now putting us in over $31 trillion in debt.

00:18:53.120 So here we are.

00:18:53.980 We've been handed a problem that we never wanted to have to deal with, and none of us agree with.

00:18:58.640 None of us want to raise the debt ceiling.

00:19:01.600 I also believe the real fight is going to be in the budget and appropriations.

00:19:06.280 And I held my voting card up to our leadership just last week, and I said,

00:19:11.060 I'm going to fight like hell with my voting card on this budget and appropriations,

00:19:15.820 because that's where the real problems are, and I won't vote a penny to the Ukraine war.

00:19:20.800 And I said, as a matter of fact, if any of you are starting to fund that stuff that's in the NDAA,

00:19:24.600 in the budget, anywhere we are seeing it, I will be working as hard as possible and whipping other members to vote against it.

00:19:31.840 That means that I'll be including the public and pulling in the American people to help battle this fight,

00:19:37.600 because I think it's so critical.

00:19:39.440 You and I have done this from the beginning, as well as Thomas Massey and a few others.

00:19:43.680 We have said no to the war in Ukraine, because we're America first,

00:19:49.980 and we know the real consequences of the Ukraine war.

00:19:53.560 So I'll be doing that.

00:19:54.760 But you sold them to put that in this debt limit deal.

00:19:56.840 I was on the teleconference when a lot of our colleagues were talking about what ought to be in this offer,

00:20:03.860 and you said unequivocally that a serious country would not approach its debt limit

00:20:10.160 while funding the government of another country at the same time,

00:20:14.020 and that it's the most obvious and easiest place to cut.

00:20:17.720 So like you, I'm disappointed that that's not in this deal.

00:20:20.920 I'm trying to judge the deal based on what's in it, not necessarily what's not in it.

00:20:24.300 Let's talk about what's in it.

00:20:25.640 Sure.

00:20:26.100 So HR1.

00:20:27.440 Very good.

00:20:28.280 Our energy plan, it's amazing.

00:20:29.900 Yes.

00:20:30.180 This is Trump policies for America first energy.

00:20:34.460 It's the best thing for the country.

00:20:36.260 It's how we make America energy independent again, how we lower gas and diesel prices,

00:20:41.300 how we protect natural gas from the Democrats trying to destroy it, so many other good things.

00:20:47.180 Okay.

00:20:47.740 The next one is reeling in all the COVID cash that's sitting out there that we voted against.

00:20:53.520 Again, our voting records are so good, everybody.

00:20:56.920 So we voted against all that cash, COVID cash out there.

00:21:00.460 What's another?

00:21:01.260 The RAINS Act.

00:21:01.940 The RAINS Act.

00:21:02.720 The regulatory reform so that our small businesses aren't strangled by some unelected bureaucrat somewhere.

00:21:08.600 That's something we've really believed in.

00:21:10.400 Because we want to unhook the unholy union of corporate, corporations, and the government, everybody.

00:21:17.360 I'd love to even go further on that.

00:21:19.200 Small businesses have the right to compete, and they need to be protected.

00:21:22.280 Yes.

00:21:22.500 So there's a lot of good stuff in this deal, and we don't mean to begrudge that.

00:21:26.900 Talked a lot about work requirements.

00:21:29.020 Work requirements.

00:21:29.700 I'm with you that a country just cannot continue to spend this way without downward pressure on spending, and I know we're working hard to get there.

00:21:39.600 I also wanted, but before I move on, I do think your points about separating Ukraine funding from the NDAA need to be noted.

00:21:48.920 Yeah.

00:21:49.060 I agree with you entirely.

00:21:50.900 They funded it last time.

00:21:52.340 Do you remember?

00:21:52.580 They did.

00:21:52.800 They did, and that was-

00:21:53.700 It was 47 billion?

00:21:54.980 It was, it was-

00:21:56.140 38, but it was, I think it was around that number.

00:21:58.660 It was way too much.

00:22:00.080 It should not have been in the bill.

00:22:01.620 And I believe that it will be problematic in the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act if it is too flavored and tainted with continued U.S. entanglement in the Ukraine.

00:22:12.980 Think how insulting that is.

00:22:14.400 It is.

00:22:14.780 Funding our own U.S. military, but including funding for defending another country's borders, well, they're not doing anything for our borders.

00:22:24.120 It's insane.

00:22:24.640 The American administration, the Pentagon, everybody running the military, they ignore the American border.

00:22:29.980 I think our military should be stacked at the southern border and the northern border.

00:22:34.040 I think we should be defending our country.

00:22:36.100 I think we should be fighting the cartels and not the Russians. 0.99

00:22:39.100 Yeah, I am far more concerned about the deaths caused to Americans from cartels than the deaths that would be caused to Americans from broken Russian tanks.

00:22:47.360 Yeah.

00:22:47.500 But we're also worried about the risk of nuclear war, and this administration might stumble us into a nuclear war without even knowing.

00:22:54.840 Two dangers with this war against Russia.

00:22:58.000 They're a nuclear superpower, a world nuclear superpower.

00:23:03.100 Secondly, the sanctions.

00:23:05.080 Remember, we voted no on those sanctions, too.

00:23:07.160 The Biden administration and Nancy Pelosi, they put sanctions on Russia when this first started last year.

00:23:14.400 What did we all say?

00:23:15.200 We said this is going to push Russia into the arms of China. 0.84

00:23:18.280 Russia can't fund their war unless they're selling their oil and gas.

00:23:21.440 It happened exactly the way I said it would and the way we warned.

00:23:25.640 So Russia is selling their oil and gas to China, to all these countries all over the world, and now BRICS, this association of countries, what is it, Brazil, Russia, India, China, and the Saudis?

00:23:39.860 Saudis. 0.98

00:23:40.260 Saudis. 0.98

00:23:40.940 They have come together, and they've made an agreement to sell energy in their own currency.

00:23:47.320 That's the second greatest threat to us, Matt, outside of a nuclear holocaust. 0.81

00:23:51.900 Of course, that's the number one.

00:23:53.600 We're about to lose our dollar.

00:23:55.560 We're about to lose the dollar as the number one, the world's currency.

00:23:58.640 And then people will actually feel the pain from the debt.

00:24:00.940 Because the only reason people don't feel the pain from this debt day in and day out is the primacy of the dollar.

00:24:05.980 And so once you do that, you slaughter the goose that's laid the golden eggs for this country.

00:24:10.600 And these women that are voting for their women's health care and these people voting for their student debt loans and these people voting because they think they're saving the planet with the Green New Deal and garbage like that and putting wind farms off the coast of Florida.

00:24:24.280 People that vote like that are going to suffer so greatly because the dollar will fall, and it doesn't discriminate when it falls.

00:24:32.640 No, it won't care.

00:24:33.500 No.

00:24:33.780 It'll savage this country. 0.91

00:24:35.120 We will all be broke.

00:24:36.000 And part of it is just getting these arguments out.

00:24:38.260 And one of the platforms you and I have used extensively is the Tucker Carlson Tonight program that sadly is no more on Fox.

00:24:45.740 And I thought back to some of the iconic moments you had on that show, and you really broke through with the country when you took what you heard from moms out on the campaign trail and out on our rally tour, and you brought that to millions of viewers each night.

00:25:03.440 No, you know, it's what Tucker Carlson did for me.

00:25:06.700 I'm not kidding you.

00:25:07.620 When I first got here and everybody canceled me, Matt, you know how badly they canceled me, Tucker Carlson was the only one that would bring me on and actually talk to me and ask me questions.

00:25:22.040 He had me on his show on Fox Nation.

00:25:25.060 He brought me on Tucker Carlson Tonight.

00:25:27.520 He was the only person that would talk to me.

00:25:30.080 That is how much I greatly respect Tucker Carlson.

00:25:33.000 And Tucker was the one voice we had, the best America First conservative voice, and he challenged the system, and he challenged everybody.

00:25:44.420 I think Tucker, we're not seeing him right now, but I don't think it's over for Tucker Carlson.

00:25:49.720 Oh, absolutely not.

00:25:50.120 I think he's going to come back, and it's going to be even bigger and more powerful, and I can't wait for him.

00:25:54.740 Well, in a way, Tucker's just completing the sweep because I think he's been fired from PBS, CNN, and MSNBC.

00:26:01.080 God bless him.

00:26:01.960 Separate from, you know, maybe you just go independent and do your own thing, and I know you and I will be there to support Tucker no matter what he does, but do you worry about what it says about the direction of corporatized media and the ability of populist voices like ours to be able to break through?

00:26:17.040 Because I am worried about that.

00:26:18.100 Yeah, and I don't know how you feel about Fox News, but I'll go in on what I think.

00:26:22.960 What they've done is they caved to the woke mob.

00:26:25.160 They absolutely caved to the woke mob because all these lawsuits, they have the Dominion lawsuit, they have all these other lawsuits coming in, and this is the left.

00:26:34.180 This is how, we faced it.

00:26:35.520 We still face it.

00:26:36.360 Oh, we're seeing it with the Hunter Biden lawyer letter trying to deplatform you.

00:26:40.060 Oh, yeah.

00:26:40.380 This is what they do.

00:26:42.200 It's lawfare.

00:26:43.280 It's lawfare.

00:26:44.360 And remember, they tried to get me off the ballot.

00:26:46.900 Thank God for you.

00:26:47.820 To save democracy.

00:26:48.820 Yes.

00:26:49.280 To save democracy, they tried to get you off the ballot.

00:26:51.400 Right, so to save democracy, they believe in canceling people and silencing their speech, and that's what they think they're doing to Tucker Carlson, and Fox News went along with it.

00:27:00.840 Fox News has no idea how badly they're hurting their company.

00:27:04.120 Everyone I've talked to has deleted the Fox News app on their phones.

00:27:07.780 People are canceling their Fox Nation subscriptions.

00:27:12.840 People are saying, I am done with Fox, and then I heard this morning on Fox and Friends, I was watching it.

00:27:17.340 They never had me on anyway, so I can talk about them, and I'm not afraid of that.

00:27:21.120 I'm not going to be controlled by, oh, shoot, I might hurt.

00:27:23.920 No one should be.

00:27:24.520 Yeah, who cares?

00:27:25.440 So they were talking about the difference of, you know, we need to give moderate Republicans a chance because, you know, it's the MAGA Republicans that may be the problem.

00:27:34.880 And that was the angle they were talking about on Fox and Friends, and I was like, okay, you guys fired Tucker Carlson.

00:27:42.180 You guys did this.

00:27:43.080 You caved to the woke mob, and then you want to turn on MAGA?

00:27:46.740 Be my guest.

00:27:47.460 See, what I don't get is when they use the term moderate as if they're more reasonable.

00:27:51.680 Oftentimes, the people who have the branding of the moderates in this town actually believe in nothing.

00:27:56.680 They're just sellouts who do whatever the lobbyists and special interests say.

00:27:59.980 If what makes us extreme is that we work for the people and the people alone.

00:28:04.560 A hundred percent.

00:28:06.280 And that is what I think they fear most.

00:28:09.540 And it might have been what very powerful entities feared from Tucker Carlson, that he spoke the truth, that he spoke truth to power, that he wasn't controlled, and I know he won't be in his next venture.

00:28:19.320 No one controls Marjorie Taylor Greene.
