The Anchormen Show with Matt Gaetz - Episode 135 LIVE： D.C. In Disarray – Firebrand with Matt Gaetz

00:00:00.000 matt gates the biggest firebrand inside of the house of representatives you're not taking matt

00:00:08.460 gates off the board okay because matt gates is an american patriot and matt gates is an american

00:00:13.780 hero we will not continue to allow the uniparty to run this town without a fight i want to thank 1.00

00:00:20.940 you matt gates for holding the line matt gates is a courageous man if we had hundreds of matt gates

00:00:28.380 in dc the country turns around it's that simple he's so tough he's so strong he's smart and he

00:00:35.120 loves this country matt gates it is the honor of my life to fight alongside each and every one of you

00:00:42.940 we will save america it's choose your fighter time send in the firebrand

00:00:48.440 welcome back to firebrand i'm congressman matt gates we are live broadcasting out of room 2021

00:00:59.780 of the rayburn house office building in the capitol complex in washington dc and i hope everyone

00:01:04.660 had a blessed and wonderful thanksgiving is it just me or this thanksgiving did everyone you know get

00:01:11.920 sick like i i have talked to so many folks who i guess caught more than just a little bit of

00:01:18.060 tryptophan at the family gathering and so if i sound a little off today i'm recovering from the flu

00:01:24.180 feeling better and so grateful i've got a terrific wife ginger who's been my florence nightingale taking

00:01:31.380 great care of me now we're back on the hill back to work and there is a lot going on i want to chat

00:01:36.940 about we are going to get into some stuff going on around the world in our military but first in our

00:01:43.040 nation's capital we are seeing a hot mess unfold like washington dc has been in disarray both on and

00:01:50.800 off the hill and a recent piece in the washington examiner detailed that crime has just been out of

00:01:57.860 control a 40 increase in 2023 and the police are getting defunded now the taxpayers in the district

00:02:06.340 while all this is happening are footing the bill you will not believe this for a 270 000

00:02:13.680 paint job to refresh black lives matter plaza you know the anti-police street art that spreads across

00:02:23.360 two blocks outside the white house and says black lives matter now i'm sure they had no problem 1.00

00:02:29.120 finding the more than quarter of a million dollars to refresh the plaza and paint it

00:02:34.440 after defunding the police i mean a 270 000 paint job what are they what are they painting black lives

00:02:41.860 matter and gold or cobalt or something breitbart news is reporting that yesterday city officials

00:02:49.880 decreased the police department's budget in washington dc in 2023 from its 2022 number this equates

00:02:58.440 to 100 million dollars less than the 2020 budget all while dc crime is spiraling out of control there's been

00:03:06.440 a 93 increase in carjackings just yesterday an fbi employee was carjacked near capitol hill in broad daylight

00:03:16.560 and it's typically like a bunch of juvenile hoodlums i think something like 65 percent of the carjackings

00:03:25.760 are done by juveniles so they know there's no consequence they're frequently done at gunpoint

00:03:31.640 and even the fbi is getting carjacked earlier this year we saw a diplomat from the united arab emirates

00:03:39.220 and even congressman henry quail are both carjacked imagine that someone showing up from some

00:03:46.180 middle eastern country and they're way less safe here but let's not forget about the secret service 1.00

00:03:53.340 agents they were protecting naomi biden and ended up having to open fire on three people after their

00:04:00.920 car was broken into in georgetown this is not like the slums of dc this is georgetown one of the nicer

00:04:07.820 parts of the city now after hearing all this it's unsurprising that there's an over 30 percent increase

00:04:15.220 in homicides in 2023 in our nation's capital and i worry about this because one of the great joys we

00:04:21.300 have in our office is inviting our constituents making sure that they get the chance to go on the

00:04:26.660 best tours and see the sites and it's almost concerning to have people come here anymore

00:04:32.020 because we've fallen into such a state of disrepair and disarray last week another breitbart news report

00:04:39.180 explained that dc homicides have reached a 20-year high under joe biden's prosecutor one of the main

00:04:46.940 points made in the article is that the u.s attorney for the district of columbia matthew graves should

00:04:52.960 be responsible for prosecuting and and dealing with true law enforcement but instead he's only

00:05:00.820 prosecuting about 56 percent of the people arrested in 2023 crime is a symptom of democrat control and

00:05:10.860 our nation's capital is important it is emblematic it is named after george washington if we can't keep

00:05:17.700 this place safe what does it say about the rest of the country but it is a lesson because washington dc

00:05:23.640 has been governed by a bunch of these woke democrats they were gonna they were gonna end the school to

00:05:29.720 prison pipeline they were gonna stop the racist cops from policing and the result is that people of all

00:05:36.740 color and kind are less safe and more susceptible to this type of disruption and harm true harm

00:05:45.520 got to get it under control and most importantly we have to stop it from metastasizing and spreading

00:05:51.220 now from our nation's capital we'll be taking a trip around the world in our next segment

00:05:57.000 around the world

00:06:05.040 across the western hemisphere a new world order is arising but unlike the post-world war globalist

00:06:14.460 agenda that the world has been suffering under since the mid-20th century this is a new agenda

00:06:19.840 it is organic nationalist and populist in nature this movement is driven by the people of their

00:06:27.260 respective nations against global elites and the slaves of the status quo who have betrayed their

00:06:33.220 own people for too long first we had brexit that shocked the world no one believed brexit was going to be

00:06:39.680 successful but it was the spark of a global populist nationalist movement and right on the heels of that

00:06:45.640 the election of donald trump in 2016 it sent shockwaves everywhere for americans donald trump was the

00:06:54.060 embodiment of the anti-establishment anti-globalist sentiment a living indictment of the ruling class

00:07:00.740 and a repudiation of the status quo but for the international community the election of trump was this like

00:07:07.640 terrifying fluke that pierced the veil of a seemingly untouchable cabal of power that is ruled

00:07:14.740 unchallenged since the cold war for some an inspiration a tangible victory that signaled a new consensus

00:07:23.080 an indication that the globalist facade was starting to crack over the past seven years we've seen

00:07:30.080 victories by populist figures across europe and the americas and so far they only seem to be picking

00:07:37.400 up steam and growing in number even in the face of concentrated powerful entrenched opposition we see

00:07:45.620 these populist movements succeeding but because they are organic they are not identical the qualms

00:07:52.200 expressed by various groups of people in different countries around the world do differ from nation to

00:07:57.600 nation but one thing is clear people have had enough of politicians bureaucrats and globalists who have

00:08:04.080 forsaken their own people and and the interests of their constituencies in 2019 brazil elected president

00:08:11.700 gaire bolsonaro in a sweeping popular revolution brazilians were tired of endemic political corruption

00:08:18.560 mass violence and poor economic outcomes bolsonaro delivered for brazil but in doing so

00:08:24.640 he ticked off everyone in the entrenched corrupt power structures they owned the courts and the urban federal 0.92

00:08:31.800 districts and ultimately bolsonaro lost a narrow but deeply concerning and possibly corrupt election maybe one of the

00:08:41.020 most concerning in modern history since then he's faced persecution and for the people in brazil life hasn't

00:08:48.600 gotten better corruption and crime have returned but something tells me it's not over yet popular movements are

00:08:56.680 not so easily defeated the fire that has been lit continues to burn in south america and it is ignited an explosion of

00:09:04.520 victories in el salvador and argentina president naib bukele was elected in a landslide in el salvador and following through on

00:09:13.320 his campaign promises he has really done a lot to endeavor on reversing that nation's decline el salvador was a poor corrupt

00:09:22.600 and frankly extremely violent nation a failed state ruled by ms 13 more than the government itself

00:09:30.440 drug cartels were the law and order in el salvador one of the reasons why people were leaving there in droves

00:09:38.200 now the gangsters are getting thrown in prison and bukele has opened his country up to foreign investment and 0.67

00:09:44.440 economic prosperity he's shown the world that decline is a choice and the only reason crime is allowed to persist

00:09:51.320 is because weak leaders refuse to do what is necessary

00:09:54.680 he's put the interests of law-abiding citizens first

00:09:57.880 and seen to it that they are not forced to live in anarcho tyranny

00:10:01.800 now why does that matter to us well our theory of the case right as as populist nationalists is that

00:10:09.320 if america is the best version of herself

00:10:12.040 then we don't have to buy in to all this globalist nonsense because we can through inspiration

00:10:18.520 get other nations to be the best versions of their selves and then rather than all of us surrendering our

00:10:25.560 autonomy and our self-determination to some some globalist entity whatever it is

00:10:31.560 we have the opportunity to have strong nations strong borders strong laws safer streets safer

00:10:37.800 people and then you don't get these mass migrations what the

00:10:41.080 narcos and cartels want they want the diminution of borders they want the erosion of the nation state

00:10:49.880 because that's what creates the most permissible environment for their malign activity now on the

00:10:55.320 back of these victories argentina too has entered the fold once considered the paris of the west

00:11:02.040 buenos aires and the rest of argentina has really suffered from hyperinflation

00:11:07.080 corruption it's the socialist economic policies that have brought it to bear you've seen bureaucratic

00:11:12.200 bloat and those things have turned argentina into a husk of its former self crime and third world 1.00

00:11:19.400 migration have spurred other populist movements as well socialism high taxes out of control government

00:11:26.280 spending and the redistribution of wealth eventually takes its toll on a populist and always leads to the

00:11:33.320 very corruption that then in turn spurs the productive the productive positive economic

00:11:40.040 nationalism that can allow people to live better lives when wages are stagnant and buying power is

00:11:46.120 declining by the week you can bet that a regime's days are numbered and you know in argentina they

00:11:52.520 were javier melee an economic i would say eccentric individual was elected president of argentina in a

00:12:00.200 convincing victory this past month he was elected after a campaign of promises to absolutely rip out

00:12:06.280 the bureaucracy and replace it with nothing he called collectivists 0.96

00:12:12.840 shit leftists and leftards and promised not to give them an inch argentina is set for one hell of a 0.90

00:12:20.760 ride and i'm bullish on their prospects for the future but it's not just here in on our side of the 0.97

00:12:27.640 atlantic ocean europe also is gaining ground in italy we saw various populist factions uh take control

00:12:35.960 of the parliament from salvini to maloney italians have enjoyed a string of victories spurred by

00:12:42.360 opposition to mass migration from african and middle eastern countries migrants are committing violent 1.00

00:12:49.720 crimes at a rate not seen outside the third world italians are starting to notice and vote accordingly

00:12:57.640 and i can't even believe we've reached this point but like the chief globalist advocate in all of europe

00:13:04.920 is even having to concede to the power of our movement and the strength of our argument

00:13:09.800 emmanuel macron and france even they are taking tougher stances on migration and immigration as the

00:13:17.640 situation becomes more dire for the french for the people in their country now larger victories in

00:13:23.800 sweden and the netherlands have occurred recently as well proving that there's something really

00:13:29.560 possible here to build on europeans do not want this mass migration we also saw a wilder's party in

00:13:40.040 the netherlands they swept the parliamentary elections and they're poised to elect him as prime minister

00:13:45.720 he's been ahead of his time and has taken a lot of heat from the media for his stance on islam

00:13:51.400 these western countries enjoyed low crime and high trust until they surrendered to the globalist

00:13:58.440 regimes and decided to flood their countries with foreigners now sweden and the netherlands have these 0.99

00:14:05.720 terrible endemics of rape and robbery and assaults committed by hordes of migrants brought from the 1.00

00:14:12.680 most primitive areas of the world thousands of miles away for what reason nobody knows there is not

00:14:20.680 even a remotely coherent argument that this migration benefits the host nation presumably this is occurring

00:14:27.400 because the global left hates its own people and wishes their demise no one voted for this no one voted

00:14:34.440 for their own replacement and displacement now ignited by different flames each of these cases is part

00:14:41.880 of this greater general rejection of the powers that be the global elites and the politicians that serve

00:14:47.400 them these powers have rejected what their people need and want and they have ushered in an era of

00:14:53.480 unprecedented decline whether it's the demand for economic prosperity or the rejection of open borders

00:14:59.240 the demand for a return to law and order people across the entire world are standing up for themselves

00:15:05.480 and their nation and their people and their future at times it feels overwhelming like we're

00:15:11.080 moving at a snail's pace but in less than a decade's time these victories have shown us that we are

00:15:16.600 still in the fight and you know what there may be a better future for all of mankind as a result

00:15:25.160 every year we're gaining ground and every year we're closer to building a new world order not a world

00:15:32.280 order beholden to the nefarious and entrenched interests or antiquated and failed world views

00:15:39.240 but a world beholden to the will of the people within the nation states a world full of nation states that

00:15:47.240 are a lot stronger where the nuclear family and faith and the rule of law and economic freedom

00:15:53.480 self-determination cultural supremacy and other foundations of civilization will be strengthened

00:15:59.640 rather than undermined now one of the worst of these globalist entities is of course the UN and we've

00:16:06.920 got a report from the daily mail i want to bring to your attention united nations set to call on

00:16:11.640 americans to stop eating meat stop eating meat put down that cheeseburger america in an effort to 0.63

00:16:19.000 tackle climate change despite only making up 1.4 of global emissions and and this is the daily mail piece

00:16:26.760 a united nations agency is expected to call on western countries including the u.s to drastically reduce

00:16:33.640 meat consumption to combat climate change this is the UN's food and agriculture organization the

00:16:42.440 agency will call upon nations that over consume meat to limit consumption to reduce greenhouse emissions

00:16:49.560 i wonder what their definition of over consumption of meat is like is that a filet mignon at dinner

00:16:57.960 is that like a can you have can you have the the single patty cheeseburger but not the double patty or triple patty

00:17:07.560 cheeseburger according to the UN or like if you you know if you have the meat taco does that count because

00:17:14.760 it's you know only a little bit of meat and then you got your lettuce and tomato it's craziness now

00:17:20.120 the agency uh that that is doing this i think looks even worse when you consider the fact that only

00:17:26.840 1.4 percent of global emissions uh come from u.s agriculture in a lot of ways best management practices

00:17:33.880 are being used here in the united states to make our agriculture systems the most environmentally friendly

00:17:39.480 in the entire world and you know what if the UN's all that interested in global emissions let them

00:17:45.320 turn their ire to china and india and these countries that seemingly have no environmental regulations

00:17:52.440 don't be looking at americans as if we're part of the problem but it shows the level of control and

00:17:57.960 it goes back to what we're seeing in these globalist populist uh wins around the globe people don't want

00:18:05.160 this people don't want some UN bureaucrat telling them where they can live how they can recreate

00:18:13.480 what they can eat how many guns they can have it's nonsense more nonsense i want to bring to your

00:18:21.320 attention regarding president joe biden's hypocrisy around campaign finance and dark money this headline

00:18:28.120 we get from the washington examiner biden blessed dark money group wired 15 million from

00:18:34.760 soros while president slammed secret donor world so you've got joe biden out there doing everything

00:18:42.840 he can to say oh dark money's bad we want to clean up dark money but he's filling out the deposit slips

00:18:51.880 actually you know what this is legal it's wrong it shouldn't be legal but it is so maybe this is like

00:18:58.680 the most legal 15 million dollars joe biden's ever gotten a lot of the money they get's not legal but

00:19:05.240 this money comes from future forward usa action which is shelling out millions of dollars to bolster

00:19:11.800 the biden agenda and this entity tapped ex-biden white house officials to assist with ad campaign

00:19:18.120 operations framing biden as and i'm quoting directly here an active and vibrant leader that's what they're

00:19:26.760 spending their dark money on to convince you that joe biden is an active and vibrant leader

00:19:34.520 what first comes to mind for me is that you're probably going to need a lot more than 15 million

00:19:38.040 dollars to make the case that joe biden is both active and vibrant back to the peace news of more

00:19:44.120 than 15 million dollars from this grant comes as alex soros the 38 year old son of george soros continues

00:19:51.160 to score white house visits and post on social media about his meeting with top democrat lawmakers

00:19:57.240 alex soros was elected last december as board president of the open society foundations future

00:20:03.640 forward usa action also pocketed 5.5 million in 2021 to support policy advocacy on build back together

00:20:13.320 other legislative packages and a global vaccine campaign global vaccines showing you that joe biden is

00:20:22.840 active 15 million dollars rich with the hypocrisy of washington dc also wanted to share a another story with you

00:20:32.600 about our economy because we all see that while the rate of inflation is decreasing there is no turn back right

00:20:41.320 this base inflation is built in and so even if the rate of inflation is slowing the inflation that has

00:20:47.240 already occurred which is historic and terrible is now baked into costs for american families and a report

00:20:56.520 i wanted to flag for you comes from cbs news americans need an extra eleven thousand four hundred dollars

00:21:03.240 today just to afford the basics the typical american household must spend an additional eleven thousand

00:21:09.720 four hundred and four hundred and thirty four dollars annually just to maintain the same standard of

00:21:14.840 living they enjoyed in january 2021 right before inflation stored to 40 year highs according to recent

00:21:22.440 government data now this underscores the financial squeeze that many families continue to face

00:21:29.640 while average hourly pay for workers has increased 13.6 percent since january of 2021

00:21:38.200 that lags the 17 increase in inflation during the same period so we have seen some increase in

00:21:46.120 wages but it is not it is more than eaten up by this eleven thousand four hundred and thirty four dollar

00:21:54.760 bill that the government has essentially imposed on your family just to live the exact same standard of living

00:22:01.400 so the result is that most people don't have that eleven thousand four hundred dollars extra we've

00:22:08.440 chronicled before on this program that more than sixty percent of the country right now is living paycheck to

00:22:13.240 paycheck the in this past week the united states government just had to go sell you know billions of

00:22:19.800 dollars in additional bonds that's going to drive up the apr on credit cards that people are using

00:22:26.280 to bridge from one month to the next and who's getting hit worse well according to the cbs piece

00:22:32.200 inflation takes a bigger bite out of low-income households because by necessity they spend a bigger

00:22:40.520 share of their income on basics than higher income americans so it's regular folks it's hard-working americans

00:22:48.040 who are paying the price for this reckless inflation i want to go to some military news now as you guys

00:22:54.600 know i'm on the house armed services committee and what uh what impacts our service members is of

00:23:00.600 deep deep importance to me and uh we got a report from breitbart that i want to bring to your attention

00:23:07.320 matt gates demands air force reveal who told airmen not to attend a conservative rally in north dakota so

00:23:14.360 this comes out of the minot air force base right and and some bird brain at dod thought it was a good

00:23:23.800 idea to warn service members warn service members who were stationed there not to attend a rally

00:23:31.880 hosted by turning point action and part of the message says please remind them that participation

00:23:39.320 with groups such as turning point action could jeopardize their continued service in the u.s military

00:23:46.040 this is incredible our own military leaders telling service members that turning point is some sort of

00:23:53.720 right-wing entity give me a break so we've demanded answers we've sent uh a request to the secretary of

00:24:01.240 the air force to identify exactly who approved this crazy text message and once we get that information we

00:24:08.040 are going to call those people before the military personnel subcommittee and we're going to sit them right next to

00:24:14.040 the folks from turning point and we're going to ask like what is it about these folks that you think is

00:24:18.440 alt-right and extreme and dangerous for service members and keep in mind this is the military

00:24:24.520 that had no problem like being a drag show you know performance uh you know theater uh you know

00:24:33.480 entity before we brought accountability to bear on that question so a lot more to come on that i just

00:24:39.880 received a letter back from the secretary of the air force that they're working on our request to

00:24:44.120 identify who did this and we're going to bring them forward we're going to ask them tough questions 0.95

00:24:48.200 and you know what that's what it takes sometimes to deter this kind of crap you have to identify it

00:24:53.720 you have to expose it and then you have to you have to impose a consequence for the people who thought 0.90

00:24:59.880 this was okay because it's all part of a grand scheme to try to turn our military leftward and that is

00:25:05.720 just not what our military is supposed to be and i'm not trying to make the military some some vassal

00:25:11.480 state of the political right i want our military to be apolitical i want them to to ensure that we have

00:25:17.640 the most survivability lethality and capability in the world that we can vanquish any foe when necessary

00:25:25.080 but that we don't have to over utilize and we don't have to turn the military into some sort of social

00:25:31.640 justice experiment uh there's going to be in just moments uh debate and vote on the expulsion of

00:25:38.920 george santos i will be voting against expelling george santos i will be debating against it we will

00:25:45.320 bring you uh that floor action uh hopefully in our episode tomorrow if you have the opportunity to put

00:25:51.080 that together for you also there are major developments right now regarding uap disclosure and

00:25:57.480 transparency we're negotiating the finer points of the national defense authorization act and i'm

00:26:02.760 working real hard right alongside fellow firebrands on a paulino luna and tim birchett who you've gotten

00:26:08.120 to know through this program uh we're really really building out a case for uh just getting this out of the

00:26:15.480 silo of the intelligence community and the intelligence committee we've got to democratize this information

00:26:21.720 and we've got to do more to get it public and and i will be bringing you updates regarding our our
