Summary

In the wake of the mass shooting in Buffalo, New York City, Democrats have been quick to call for stricter gun control laws, and the media is quick to point the finger at the "ultra-militant" conservative movement known as "Ultra-MGTOW" and its supporters. Is it possible that the whole movement is an inside job created by the Deep State to destabilize the conservative movement?

Transcript

00:00:01.000 The embattled Congressman Matt Gaetz.
00:00:03.000 Matt Gaetz was one of the very few members in the entire Congress
00:00:06.000 who bothered to stand up against permanent Washington on behalf of his constituents.
00:00:10.000 Matt Gaetz right now, he's a problem in the Democratic Party.
00:00:13.000 He can cause a lot of hiccups in passing applause.
00:00:16.000 So we're going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him.
00:00:20.000 If you stand for the flag and kneel in prayer,
00:00:23.000 if you want to build America up and not burn her to the ground,
00:00:27.000 then welcome, my fellow patriots.
00:00:29.000 You are in the right place. This is the movement for you.
00:00:33.000 You ever watch this guy on television?
00:00:35.000 It's like a machine, Matt Gaetz.
00:00:38.000 I'm a canceled man in some corners of the internet.
00:00:41.000 Many days I'm a marked man in Congress, a wanted man by the deep state.
00:00:46.000 They aren't really coming for me. They're coming for you.
00:00:49.000 I'm just in the way.
00:00:56.000 Welcome back to Firebrand Live.
00:00:58.000 We are simulcast streaming out of our office on the capital complex here in Washington, D.C.
00:01:03.000 If you're giving comments on Facebook and on YouTube, we're able to get those right here to the desk, to the show.
00:01:09.000 Already seeing Jerry Pope saying that we have a stolen government.
00:01:12.000 Seppi Salem, never thought it would get this bad.
00:01:15.000 Gas, inflation, baby formula, Ukraine, illegal immigration, and indeed the dollars under attack.
00:01:22.000 We've got proof now that the whole Ultra MAGA label was in fact an operation.
00:01:28.000 The squad has been all show no dough when it comes to their legislative agenda.
00:01:34.000 I'm going to break down some of those tactics, see what we can learn from them.
00:01:38.000 And we're also going to have the latest on a war that could go nuclear.
00:01:43.000 But first, the shooting in Buffalo this past weekend was tragic and horrid.
00:01:48.000 I condemn it and the type of depravity that could ever lead someone to such a craven act of murder.
00:01:54.000 Democrats in Congress and throughout the country are now, somewhat predictably, calling for gun control.
00:02:02.000 And I want you to know, I oppose gun control as a mechanism to stop violence.
00:02:07.000 It will not work.
00:02:09.000 We see some of the worst violence in some of the places that have the most restrictive gun control.
00:02:14.000 Take a look at the city of Chicago, for example.
00:02:17.000 Also, gun control in the way that Democrats presented and in, frankly, many of the ways it's articulated throughout the country is unconstitutional.
00:02:25.000 The Second Amendment is absolute.
00:02:28.000 But there is a new call that Democrats now offer alongside the gun-grabbing demands.
00:02:35.000 Never let a crisis go to waste now means use every crisis to get control over information.
00:02:44.000 From the New York State governor to leaders in Congress, we have already heard shrill calls to control what people can say.
00:02:53.000 Even if it violates no law, even if it's just a thought crime.
00:02:57.000 Shooting used to only inspire calls to have the government control more guns.
00:03:02.000 Now, and probably forever more, it will also be used to empower the government to control more thoughts.
00:03:10.000 There's a direct line from them setting up this Nina Jankiewicz Ministry of Truth to how they are now responding to the shooting in Buffalo.
00:03:19.000 There's also a lot of discussion of replacement theory.
00:03:23.000 And replacement theory means different things to different people.
00:03:26.000 The media, of course, is now reflecting on replacement theory exclusively through the lens of race.
00:03:35.000 I'm about to play you a CNN clip from 2018.
00:03:39.000 Michael Smirconish is the host.
00:03:41.000 He's interviewing a guest about essentially what the media is now describing as the exclusive way to evaluate replacement theory.
00:03:50.000 Take a listen.
00:03:52.000 If the current trends continue, by 2045, the nation will be less than 50 percent white.
00:03:59.000 True?
00:04:00.000 Correct.
00:04:01.000 Yes.
00:04:02.000 And the political implications of this, Dr. Saenz, are very significant.
00:04:07.000 Explain what it means in a state like, say, Texas.
00:04:11.000 Yeah, Texas, you see these demographic trends have already been playing out.
00:04:18.000 Right now in Texas, the Latino population is about 39, 40 percent of the population.
00:04:24.000 Whites are about 41 percent of the population.
00:04:27.000 Demographers project that by 2022, Latinos will become the largest racial or ethnic group in the state of Texas.
00:04:35.000 Yet when we talk about politics, there is a significant lag period here with respect to demographic strength translating to political power.
00:04:46.000 So here in Texas, for example, we have about 30 percent, 31 third of the Latino population are less than 18 years of age.
00:04:56.000 So these are individuals who are not eligible to vote.
00:04:59.000 And then you also have a certain portion of the population that are here without being U.S. citizens.
00:05:07.000 They may be here legally, temporary residents, et cetera, but they are not U.S. citizens, so they cannot vote.
00:05:13.000 So it's a significant portion of the population in Texas that cannot vote.
00:05:19.000 So you have that lag period between demographic strength and political power.
00:05:26.000 In addition, I understand. I understand. But having but having said that, but having said that, if the current alignments maintain themselves,
00:05:33.000 meaning those groups that tend to vote for each party and that party's candidates long term, the GOP has got a problem.
00:05:41.000 He's saying the quiet part out loud that in many places, the Democrat strategy is to bring people into the country that they haven't yet failed.
00:05:52.000 I mean, so many of the people that the Democrats have failed in Democrat run cities and in Democrat run states have relied on Democrats the most for an extended period of time to make their lives better.
00:06:02.000 And they failed to do that. And so they seek unchecked immigration to try to replace the people they failed with a new set of voters.
00:06:11.000 Notice that entire analysis from my standpoint is race neutral. And by the way, if you go down to the southern border right now, like there's not some monolithic racial illegal immigrant.
00:06:23.000 You have people from Europe, from Africa, from Latin America, from everywhere.
00:06:28.000 It's like the United Nations down at the southern border. So there's no like racially monolithic illegal immigrant.
00:06:34.000 The replacement theory, as I have discussed previously, really gets to this core issue of failing voters of all races of all color and kind.
00:06:46.000 And then now being in the circumstance where if you bring new people in, well, maybe you have a better chance because you haven't screwed them over yet.
00:06:53.000 And what Democrats are noticing is that actually Hispanics are breaking heavily toward Republicans.
00:06:58.000 I think we're now about 50 50 with Hispanics. And so you're going to see this, I think, effort to try to really, really focus on identity in the upcoming election.
00:07:09.000 And really, we should be focusing on the quality of life for our fellow Americans, the policies of the Biden administration that have left people far worse off than they were during the Trump administration.
00:07:18.000 And we're going to get to that economic analysis in a moment in the show.
00:07:22.000 That clip from 2018 is Michael Smirkanish. We pulled it off of Raheem Kassam's sub stack.
00:07:29.000 So make sure to go check that out. Give it a good read.
00:07:32.000 And it walks through how I think you're going to see the media and the left kind of construct replacement theory solely through this lens of race.
00:07:41.000 And as I have stated many times, including on this podcast, I explicitly reject ethno nationalism, white supremacy, anything of its ilk.
00:07:51.000 Here's a throwback clip to one of our prior segments on the subject. Take a look.
00:07:56.000 Nick Fuentes is a charismatic Internet personality.
00:08:00.000 He hosts a show that allows him to express political philosophy and thoughts on various topics.
00:08:06.000 Nick Fuentes is also an ethno nationalist, which I don't agree with.
00:08:11.000 I reject those politics. I reject white ethno nationalism. I reject black ethno nationalism.
00:08:17.000 If there's a brown ethno nationalism, I'm against that, too.
00:08:21.000 But as wrong as ethno nationalism is, holding these wrong beliefs isn't a crime. It's not criminal.
00:08:32.000 And we should be very cautious about empowering the government to create real punishments for thought crimes.
00:08:39.000 There's also been discussion about what ultramaga is. Ultramaga, you remember hearing Joe Biden talk about ultramaga?
00:08:47.000 And you almost wonder, like, did Joe Biden just come up with that?
00:08:50.000 And it turns out he didn't. The description was carefully tested, researched, reviewed.
00:08:58.000 As it turns out, it took six months and a group of leftists to come together to try to use ultramaga as a smear.
00:09:07.000 Take a listen to this startling admission from a question presented by Chuck Todd on Meet the Press.
00:09:14.000 Ashley, ultramaga. This was a this ultramaga messaging by the team Biden. This was focus grouped.
00:09:21.000 Yes, it was the result of, believe it or not, about six months of research by liberal groups.
00:09:26.000 Biden has decided to try to reappropriate MAGA. He added on ultra with his own flair.
00:09:31.000 And what you're seeing, of course, is that Republicans and Trump are re reappropriated.
00:09:35.000 They're proud to be MAGA. They are proud to be ultramaga.
00:09:38.000 That's going to change. That's going to change.
00:09:40.000 That's going to change the outcome of all the elections.
00:09:43.000 Ashley Parker of The Washington Post has it right. Damn straight we're proud to be ultramaga.
00:09:50.000 It means we're fighting for people. It means we're advancing the cause of our constituents facing these tremendous headwinds where people are getting crushed all over the country.
00:10:00.000 And you notice like they tried it with fake news. Right. The way that they were trying to discredit any information that was critical of Hillary Clinton, that disputed the Russia hoax back during the 2016 election, they called fake news.
00:10:13.000 And then the irony is that so much of what the mainstream media presents is actually fake, is actually misleading, is actually improperly sourced.
00:10:22.000 And so we did convert that term to our use. And we were able to point out how much the media lies to people by turning the cannons of fake news back on the liars.
00:10:32.000 Same with ultramaga. You know what? It's like Florida man. They always they called me the Florida man and they intended it as a slur.
00:10:40.000 But I wear it as a badge of honor, just like I wear ultramaga as a badge of honor.
00:10:44.000 But what does this tell us? What's the signal about what Democrats are really attempting to do in the upcoming election?
00:10:50.000 See, they want to indict not President Trump, not his tone, his style.
00:10:57.000 They want to indict an entire political movement that they disagree with and that they fear and that is rooted in unifying populism.
00:11:06.000 Populism that can bring together people who previously have identified as Democrats, independents, Republicans around the banner of America first.
00:11:15.000 Put our country and our people first.
00:11:18.000 And one way to do this is we must stop the attack on the American dollar.
00:11:24.000 And make no mistake, my friends, the American dollar is under attack.
00:11:28.000 It's being weakened, diminished.
00:11:31.000 If you thought America was a bad force in the world, if you thought America was deplorable, irredeemable, racist,
00:11:40.000 then you would necessarily have to harm the U.S. dollar to harm America.
00:11:46.000 And that is exactly what the left has done.
00:11:50.000 They've devalued the dollar at home by printing trillions under the fiction of COVID fear porn.
00:11:56.000 They've simultaneously limited the utility and strength of the dollar abroad by deploying some of the most aggressive sanctions the world has ever known.
00:12:06.000 Sadly, these sanctions have not always had their intended effect.
00:12:11.000 Check out this piece in the Washington Examiner.
00:12:15.000 Russia doubles profits from oil and gas sales to EU during the war.
00:12:21.000 So, like, if you believe that Russia has not been able to sustain the sanctions regime, literally their profits are going through the roof.
00:12:31.000 That means the sanctions did not have their intended effect.
00:12:35.000 Not to mention a sanctions regime that continues to fail just off the coast of Miami in communist dictatorial Cuba.
00:12:42.000 It's not like the sanctions there have resulted in some new breath of liberty or opportunity from the people of Cuba who are being abused by their totalitarian communist regime.
00:12:54.000 So now, forces around the world are recognizing the unique vulnerability to the U.S. dollar.
00:13:02.000 And it's been created by the flawed policies of the Biden administration.
00:13:05.000 And members of Congress are enabling it every time they vote for more Fed policy, for more social spending, for more COVID spending, without any offsets or reforms or a reduction in entitlements.
00:13:17.000 How about let's at least start by getting rid of entitlements for the illegal immigrants?
00:13:21.000 That would seemingly be an easy one, but not for these Democrats in charge.
00:13:25.000 What you've got to understand is that there are consequences to us printing money at home and then weaponizing dollar and limiting its utility abroad.
00:13:34.000 Listen to this stunning report from no less than CNN's Fareed Zakaria.
00:13:40.000 Take a listen.
00:13:42.000 The Biden administration deserves huge credit for the economic measures it's been able to take against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.
00:13:49.000 As an essay by Gary Huffpower and Megan Hogan note, they are the most comprehensive imposed against a major power since the Second World War.
00:13:58.000 On a punishment scale, they rank them as at least an 8 out of 10.
00:14:02.000 But the unprecedented nature of these measures is producing concerns around the world that the United States has weaponized its financial power and could lead over time to the decline of the dollar's dominance, which is what gives America its financial superpowers in the first place.
00:14:21.000 Let me tell you about three reports from three good sources that I trust.
00:14:26.000 One comes to me from New Delhi, reporting on a conversation that took place at the highest levels of India's government.
00:14:32.000 The topic, how to make sure that the US could never do to India what it has just done to Russia.
00:14:38.000 The second from Brussels, where staff of the European Commission have been tasked, even while working with Washington on the sanctions, to find ways to reduce the role of the dollar in its energy imports.
00:14:50.000 The third, a shrewd Asian observer of China, speculated that the overly severe lockdowns in Shanghai, which even involved the rationing of food and basic supplies, might be part of an effort by Beijing to experiment with a scenario in which it faced economic sanctions from Washington, perhaps after an invasion of Taiwan.
00:15:11.160 We are back live in my congressional office here in Washington, D.C., simul-streaming on Twitter, Getter, Facebook, Instagram, Rumble, YouTube.
00:15:23.800 We've got the comments coming in hot.
00:15:25.600 Lukey McDonald says, fight the elites in both parties.
00:15:29.240 And it's so relevant to the conversation we're having about the economic conditions in America, because members of both parties joined to engage in this irresponsible spending that led to the inflation that is having such a devastating effect on the country.
00:15:46.000 And so to protect the dollar, we should stop printing so damn many of them.
00:15:50.800 And we should want more countries to buy and sell in the dollar, not fewer.
00:15:57.100 Tell that to the sanctions authors.
00:15:59.240 And while many left-leaning economists praise the Obama presidency as one of sustained economic growth following the 2008 recession, the way the economy recovered is often overlooked during that era.
00:16:12.800 To be clear, I'm very much for economic growth.
00:16:16.240 What's good for the economy is good for all Americans.
00:16:18.720 I'm not like one of these left-wing greenies who say that we should stop growth, like, you know, for these broader social objectives.
00:16:27.100 I believe in capitalism.
00:16:28.120 I believe in growth.
00:16:29.200 However, I also recognize that top-down government-initiated spending is not the catalyst for a fast economic resurgence.
00:16:38.660 Under President Obama, the GDP growth averaged about 2.1% per year, the slowest rate among the 11 economic expansion periods for the United States since 1949.
00:16:49.600 This so-called Obama recovery was historically weak.
00:16:55.160 The average GDP rate was between 1.5% and about 2.1%, depending on the source.
00:17:01.280 It is the weakest recovery for the United States at all in the post-World War II period.
00:17:07.740 Meanwhile, let's turn to the economics of the Trump presidency before COVID.
00:17:11.700 And now I'm quoting from The Hill on January 20th, 2021.
00:17:16.560 Quote,
00:17:47.040 Saying that President Trump's economic success was buoyed by the Obama administration's achievements is like saying Ronald Reagan's success was an extension of Jimmy Carter's.
00:18:07.460 I think we all know that's not true.
00:18:10.440 So, let's save the American economy by being judicious, responsible, and yes, fiscally conservative.
00:18:18.580 I also want to give you an important update regarding what's going on with Russia and Ukraine and these pronouncements by politicians that we are at war.
00:18:28.180 A war I don't think a lot of you wanted us to be in and certainly not a war that any of us voted on explicitly.
00:18:34.120 Last week, I shared with you my remarks warning that America was sleepwalking into war with Russia.
00:18:41.340 Then, the Democratic Majority Leader, Steny Hoyer, like on cue, gave a speech following mine.
00:18:49.560 He basically said the quiet part out loud as well.
00:18:51.860 Take a listen to both of our remarks side by side.
00:18:57.220 Representatives, now recklessly assert that we are at war.
00:19:02.040 But very frankly, we're at war.
00:19:03.600 Regime change in Russia is their actual objective, not defending Ukraine.
00:19:08.240 A dictator has invaded, without justification, a friendly country.
00:19:14.900 A game of chicken between nuclear powers is insane.
00:19:18.220 And this from Joe Biden, who campaigned to be America's calming sedative.
00:19:23.680 It is unfortunate that a time of war that we spend all the time blaming our own president.
00:19:31.020 And to achieve this goal, they're willing to send billions to Kiev that will line the pockets of corrupt officials,
00:19:37.080 just like we did in Afghanistan.
00:19:39.960 We are sleepwalking into a war, and the American people are left in the dark.
00:19:45.640 I wish we'd get off this and really focus on the enemy.
00:19:49.880 I know there's a lot of politics here, but we're at war.
00:19:54.460 We're back live in my congressional office.
00:19:56.980 Still getting a lot of great comments in on Facebook.
00:19:59.220 Jamie Wise Martin says,
00:20:00.320 Where did our money go?
00:20:03.220 Inflation really feels like it steals from you.
00:20:06.080 It takes from you.
00:20:07.480 And to make matters worse, a lot of your money, more than $50 billion, went to Ukraine,
00:20:13.480 a country probably a lot of Americans couldn't point to on a map until a few weeks ago, maybe even now.
00:20:19.480 And it's not justified.
00:20:21.540 Russia's belligerence is appalling.
00:20:23.640 And rather than responding by getting entangled in yet another low-yield war that lasts forever,
00:20:30.740 we should raise our gaze and become far more realistic about the technologies and capabilities we need to keep up with the great powers in the world.
00:20:41.780 Enough trying to trade caves back and forth with barbarians in Central Asia.
00:20:46.420 We need the nuclear capabilities, offensive and defensive, to truly hold the high ground in this world.
00:20:55.600 Reagan understood that.
00:20:57.540 President Trump understood it.
00:20:58.860 That's why we have Space Force.
00:21:00.860 We need to also understand that hypersonic weapon systems will ultimately carry nuclear payloads.
00:21:07.620 That's why I'm always talking about hypersonics.
00:21:09.360 That's why it's so important.
00:21:10.300 And we need serious leaders in our military who understand that.
00:21:16.240 We're currently behind in hypersonics and we need to catch up.
00:21:20.880 And fortunately, instead of that seriousness and focus and success, we get Lloyd Austin,
00:21:28.020 the Secretary of Defense who has made a career out of failing up.
00:21:31.500 He rather, like, rancorously lectured me during our last exchange that there was no basis to claim that America was behind in hypersonics.
00:21:41.160 Then, his own Secretary of the Air Force contradicted him.
00:21:45.200 Christina Wong at Breitbart busted them on that inconsistent testimony.
00:21:49.280 And if you need more evidence that our Secretary of Defense in the United States of America misled the Armed Services Committee and, more importantly, the American people,
00:22:01.840 this clip features the Democrat chairman of the House Armed Services Committee making my very point.
00:22:09.060 Take a listen.
00:22:10.820 We're behind in hypersonics.
00:22:12.540 We failed to deter Russia.
00:22:14.280 Last year, China flew more sorties.
00:22:15.940 What do you mean we're behind in hypersonics?
00:22:17.480 Okay, who's ahead in hypersonics?
00:22:19.820 How do you make that assessment?
00:22:24.320 On hypersonics, I think it's really important to point out we are behind the Chinese and the Russians right now because they have deployed them.
00:22:32.060 Okay, I'm impressed that we're coming up.
00:22:34.960 We've got a bunch of programs.
00:22:35.980 They're moving forward.
00:22:36.640 We're going to get there.
00:22:37.500 We haven't deployed them yet.
00:22:39.080 So we've got to keep moving.
00:22:40.500 We're moving in a good direction.
00:22:41.640 I'm quite confident that a year from now, when we have this conversation, we will be caught up.
00:22:46.200 But I don't want to give anyone the misimpression that we're caught up.
00:22:49.540 We're not.
00:22:50.000 How do you make that assessment?
00:22:52.700 I don't know.
00:22:53.460 I make that assessment because China is fielding hypersonic weapons systems, and we are still developing them.
00:22:58.920 Are you talking about development of capability or development of...
00:23:01.680 By the way, your own people brief us that we are behind and that China is winning.
00:23:06.360 Are you aware of the briefings we get on hypersonics?
00:23:08.680 I am certainly aware of briefings that we provide to Congress.
00:23:13.860 He's really not aware of those briefings or even what his fellow administration officials say or even what the Democrat chairman of the Armed Services Committee says.
00:23:23.860 John Hall on Facebook in the comments said, quote, go get Matt Gaetz.
00:23:29.260 And that did worry me until it appears it was a typo.
00:23:32.240 John said later, go get him, Matt Gaetz.
00:23:34.540 So, very helpful edit.
00:23:38.160 Back to our military.
00:23:39.400 It's not just hypersonics where we're falling behind.
00:23:43.580 Our military is not meeting its recruiting thresholds.
00:23:47.520 This is very important.
00:23:49.020 More than any weapons system, our people are the critical component, the critical asset, the critical feature, the winning element of our military.
00:23:57.980 And we are below the number of pilots we need.
00:24:02.420 Yet we kick pilots out of the Air Force and the Navy if they don't take the jab.
00:24:06.440 What sense does that make?
00:24:08.360 The Army has had substantial recruiting shortfalls.
00:24:11.480 The total force is below one million for the first time in two decades.
00:24:15.840 And maybe, just maybe, one reason is the DOD's embrace of wokeness.
00:24:23.220 Of course it is.
00:24:24.040 Many of the very people our military need to inspire and recruit will not join and will not volunteer if they think they are entering a political organization intent on serving the left, not the American people, and not the Constitution.
00:24:40.600 The best way to restore our military is to focus on capabilities like hypersonics, like nuclear deterrents, like ensuring we see Reagan's vision of space wars realized not to the benefit of the aggressor, but for our defensive capabilities so that we're not held hostage by some nuclear despot in the future.
00:25:02.300 Instead, far too much focus on the wokeism and on this hard turn.
00:25:10.160 And I think it's because, like, the DOD is one of the last institutions the political left has not totally taken over until maybe recently.
00:25:18.360 When it comes to takeovers, I don't know that the squad has gotten quite everything out of the 117th Congress that they've wanted.
00:25:25.820 So I want to take a deep dive into some of these issues and personalities and how it's playing out.
00:25:31.600 So the mainstream media believes that Democrats are set to lose power in Washington following the midterm elections.
00:25:37.560 They'll do anything possible to shape coverage to see that not happen.
00:25:43.180 Just yesterday, on Meet the Press, Chuck Todd asked known race baiter Al Sharpton, who somehow has a show on MSNBC,
00:25:51.600 what could be done to save the Democrats?
00:25:54.360 Take a listen.
00:25:55.820 Reverend Sharpton, our poll, it's interesting, and you heard the interview with Senator Sanders.
00:26:01.580 How do you fire up the left in an environment like this for the Democratic Party?
00:26:06.500 You've got to turn people on to turn them out.
00:26:10.020 And I think the issues that the left, that the African-American or black community, Latinos and all, are concerned about
00:26:19.560 are not really the issues that they can say that we've had deliverables on.
00:26:24.980 George Floyd Justice and Policing Act, John Lewis voting bill.
00:26:29.120 I think the president needs to do some executive orders.
00:26:31.880 I think that we need to start seeing some aggressive fighting in the trenches on a lot of these issues.
00:26:37.760 All of this trying to be moderate in tone and style as you are in politics is not going to work.
00:26:45.360 Use executive power to push policies that the left does not have legislative support to pass into law.
00:26:57.220 And they call us the authoritarians.
00:26:59.080 And the squad has been calling for this for some time.
00:27:02.800 But you can't help but notice how badly the Democrats have blown any kind of a legislative agenda.
00:27:09.560 So to the squad, like at first, there were a mere four of you, then twice as many.
00:27:16.280 You weren't afraid to lose races or campaigns along the way so long as you won a few as well.
00:27:21.900 And at the start of this Congress, it was as if, despite your relatively small number in the squad,
00:27:27.920 you had successfully proliferated your radical policies throughout the entire Democratic caucus.
00:27:34.920 At first, the squad was four.
00:27:36.500 And then a few short months later, the entire Democratic caucus was voting like the squad.
00:27:40.060 And I was initially quite impressed.
00:27:42.560 You won the argument with the energetic activists and everyone knew it.
00:27:47.100 But now, it seems you've lost the war within your own party.
00:27:54.140 What does the squad really have to show for control over two branches of government for two years?
00:28:00.320 I mean, AOC inspires millions of millennials with her distinct taste on politics.
00:28:06.320 Yet she couldn't convert Instagram juice into moving Senator Kyrsten Sinema on the filibuster.
00:28:13.040 Representative Jamal Bowman, also a squad member,
00:28:15.500 where he led an important effort limiting presidential war powers during the appropriations process.
00:28:21.240 I actually supported his effort on that.
00:28:23.620 Now, where'd the anti-war squad go?
00:28:26.600 Now the Democratic majority leader, Steny Hoyer, tells us that we are already at war with Russia.
00:28:32.220 I don't remember voting on that.
00:28:33.440 And I don't remember Representative Bowman's retort or amendment or legislation to stop an inappropriate exercise of war powers by the executive.
00:28:42.960 At first, the squad was actually successful at linking infrastructure to reconciliation.
00:28:49.880 But as we know now, Build Back Better became Build Back Never.
00:28:53.760 And at first, Representative Cori Bush, also a squad member, had what was really one of the most successful displays of raw political power I've seen in quite some time in Washington.
00:29:02.540 She held a sleepover on the Capitol steps, and she rolled President Biden on the issue of canceling rent, which, by the way, is a terrible idea.
00:29:12.360 Then the courts, of course, overturned this unconstitutional exercise of power.
00:29:16.600 But just by a freshman lawmaker sleeping on the steps of the Capitol, having her a little sleepover there,
00:29:21.720 she did roll Biden on his initial decision.
00:29:26.260 At first, you had the squad deconstructing gender and demanding anti-racism, whatever that is.
00:29:33.240 Now Blue Virginia has a Republican governor, and Woketopians are being swept off of school boards nationwide.
00:29:39.460 And Roe is going down.
00:29:40.640 So, like, the woke, anti-gun, ATF nominee, remember him, David Chipman?
00:29:48.020 He failed, too.
00:29:49.120 There goes the major part of the Democrats' gun agenda, such as there was an executive plan to seize people's firearms,
00:29:56.380 which, you know, is a view that Joe Biden espoused a lot on the campaign trail and that we may hear reinvigorated now.
00:30:01.760 The plan to make Stacey Abrams, like, the new wizard of all elections at the federal level,
00:30:08.240 to Stacey Abrams' eyes all of the elections, that failed.
00:30:12.120 H.R. 1 did not pass.
00:30:14.160 Biden won't even legalize weed.
00:30:16.620 It seems your legislative agenda, as far as the squad goes, was, like, only going to go as far as Senator Manchin would allow.
00:30:22.520 All you got was a COVID cash dump that created the inflation now hanging around the political necks of every Democrat.
00:30:32.680 Oh, and you got the $56 billion war, thrilling your newly befriended neocons.
00:30:39.440 Doesn't it seem like a stolen election should be worth more?
00:30:43.020 And it's not just legislative failures.
00:30:45.880 The squad cannot activate the executive branch out of Joe Biden's naptime presidency.
00:30:51.420 This tells me that in 2024, Republicans need to be high energy, not low energy.
00:30:58.820 And when Republicans retake the majority, we should see the folly of attempting to drive change through legislation principally.
00:31:07.280 If we do, in fact, take the majority in the House and the Senate,
00:31:11.360 and if we only go as far as Mitt Romney, Ben Sasse, and Susan Collins will take us,
00:31:17.700 then our voters will be disappointed, too.
00:31:19.600 And despite the best efforts of the best pillowmaker, we won't control the executive branch until 2025.
00:31:26.580 So we should use our majority differently.
00:31:30.860 We should target from the deep state to the shallow bureaucrats who harm Americans.
00:31:38.140 We should expose how the bad decisions of the Biden government have hurt people's savings,
00:31:44.520 devalued their earnings, hurt wages, career opportunities, limited promotions,
00:31:48.720 and it's created a skyrocketing cycle of costs and items that are not available for the American people.
00:31:55.520 What is this, Venezuela?
00:31:57.360 The American people quite literally need a rescue from the American Rescue Plan.
00:32:02.100 And we should learn from the squad that working with the Uniparty is just a path to more wars abroad
00:32:09.900 and less baby formula at home for Americans.
00:32:13.400 We hope to have some additional shows for you this week to give you an update on everything that's going to be going on in the Judiciary Committee
00:32:20.180 regarding the abortion debate and everything that's going on on Capitol Hill
