Summary

Hunter Biden finally admits that the laptop from hell is indeed his laptop, and now he wants the DOJ to open a criminal investigation into the Biden crime family, but not just against them, but also against Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani, and the owner of the computer store where Hunter Biden left the laptop.

Transcript

00:00:01.000 The embattled Congressman Matt Gaetz.
00:00:03.000 Matt Gaetz was one of the very few members in the entire Congress
00:00:06.000 who bothered to stand up against permanent Washington on behalf of his constituents.
00:00:10.000 Matt Gaetz right now, he's a problem for the Democratic Party.
00:00:13.000 He could cause a lot of hiccups in passing applause.
00:00:16.000 So we're going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him.
00:00:20.000 If you stand for the flag and kneel in prayer,
00:00:23.000 if you want to build America up and not burn her to the ground,
00:00:27.000 then welcome, my fellow patriots.
00:00:29.000 You are in the right place.
00:00:31.000 This is the movement for you.
00:00:33.000 You ever watch this guy on television?
00:00:35.000 It's like a machine, Matt Gaetz.
00:00:38.000 I'm a canceled man in some corners of the internet.
00:00:41.000 Many days I'm a marked man in Congress, a wanted man by the deep state.
00:00:46.000 They aren't really coming for me.
00:00:48.000 They're coming for you.
00:00:50.000 I'm just in the way.
00:00:52.000 Welcome back to Firebrand.
00:00:56.000 We are broadcasting live out of room 2021 of the Rayburn House Office Building here in the Capitol Complex in Washington, D.C.
00:01:03.000 Thank you so much for joining.
00:01:05.000 We got folks from Florida, Illinois, all over the country, all over the world.
00:01:09.000 And it has been a week already in the House of Representatives.
00:01:13.000 Democrats proved that they worship faux political environmentalism more than they actually care for the animals on the planet.
00:01:23.000 And I have the floor action from the House to prove it.
00:01:27.000 And the vipers on The View attacked me today.
00:01:30.000 As usual, their arguments were so circular that they actually ended up proving my point while bloviating about yours truly.
00:01:38.000 They should totally invite me back on The View instead of just talking about me so much.
00:01:42.000 But first, our lead story.
00:01:44.000 Hunter Biden wants the Department of Justice to prosecute his enemies.
00:01:50.000 So predictable.
00:01:52.000 So if you've seen the news lately, you might have heard that Hunter Biden has finally admitted that the laptop from hell is indeed his laptop.
00:02:02.000 Hunter's lawyers are now asking the Department of Justice to open a criminal inquiry.
00:02:08.000 But not a criminal inquiry into the Biden crime family, of course.
00:02:12.000 An inquiry into Steve Bannon and Rudy Giuliani and Giuliani's lawyer and the owner of a computer store where Hunter Biden left the laptop.
00:02:23.000 They might even want to investigate Bannon's former producer and a former member of our team, Vish Burrup.
00:02:30.000 Now, everyone knows that you have to play nice with the 50 year old son of President Biden or you could be the one that's targeted.
00:02:39.000 So to refresh your memory, I want you to know how Firebrand has covered the laptop from hell.
00:02:45.000 This is a clip from one of our prior episodes where Vish and I are discussing its importance and how this information came to the public.
00:02:52.000 Take a listen.
00:02:55.000 So talk to me about how you and Bannon get a hold of this.
00:02:58.000 So so now now so we get a hold of it in conjunction with Rudy and we're just we're stuck.
00:03:05.000 So he Steve hands me the laptop and says, you know, I need you to go through this thing.
00:03:10.000 Make it your best friend.
00:03:11.000 Know how to you know where everything is.
00:03:13.000 I start going through it.
00:03:15.000 I find a bunch of things and we know we're working with Steve and Rudy.
00:03:18.000 We're all so you were essentially Bannon and Giuliani's Indian tech guy.
00:03:22.000 I was it's not essentially that's it's literally.
00:03:27.000 That's exactly I was their I.T. guy.
00:03:29.000 So Vish was part of the chain of custody for the laptop.
00:03:34.000 And now if you are involved in the laptop enterprise, remember, first they said it was Russian disinformation.
00:03:40.000 Now it's real.
00:03:41.000 And the people who brought that to the forefront, they want those people punished.
00:03:46.000 So apparently Hunter Biden didn't consent to having his private information shared with the public.
00:03:53.000 That's the legal theory that they're going on.
00:03:55.000 Now, I can assure you the public did not consent to a ne'er do well brat selling influence to foreign governments in exchange for access to Joe Biden.
00:04:04.000 The corruption in the Biden family doesn't get any more clear cut than that.
00:04:09.000 They were global influence peddlers and they were peddling access to the highest levels of our government.
00:04:14.000 Now, imagine just the nerve or frankly, the corrupt confidence that Hunter Biden must have to ask that the feds start investigating the whistleblowers and the people who exposed their families own corruption.
00:04:30.000 It seems like a good time to recall those 51 intelligence experts who signed a letter saying that the Hunter Biden laptop wasn't Hunter Biden's laptop, but that it was Russian disinformation.
00:04:43.000 Every one of them still has their security clearances.
00:04:46.000 They should not.
00:04:47.000 We should revoke them.
00:04:49.000 I wonder what they're going to say now.
00:04:51.000 I do not believe we'll be getting an apology.
00:04:54.000 But whether it's the Russia hoax or the origins of the Wuhan virus or Hunter Biden's laptop here, the pattern is similar.
00:05:03.000 We discover a searing truth.
00:05:06.000 Then one, it's a conspiracy to theory.
00:05:10.000 Then two, it's foreign disinformation.
00:05:13.000 Then third, it's true and either it's no big deal or we deserved it.
00:05:18.000 And then fourth and finally, we should be vilified for finding it and exposing it.
00:05:25.000 That's the cycle of this.
00:05:27.000 And it's actually pretty predictable.
00:05:29.000 We owe Steve Bannon and Giuliani and Giuliani's attorney and the owner of the Wilmington computer store a huge thanks for risking everything to take on a powerful family and expose this corruption.
00:05:46.000 But it shows you.
00:05:47.000 It shows you that Hunter Biden is so brazen that despite the fact that he makes the admission that the laptop is real, they actually think that the people who are the do-gooders in this case should be punished.
00:05:58.000 It's something.
00:05:59.000 Some folks who are not do-gooders are the hosts of The View.
00:06:05.000 Now, you'll recall from our last episode, I talked about my effort in the House Judiciary Committee to get the Pledge of Allegiance ensconced into the beginning of our hearings so that despite the issue of the day or what we're going to debate over or legislate over or conduct oversight directed at, we would have a unifying moment of the Pledge of Allegiance to our nation's flag.
00:06:28.000 Republicans and Democrats standing together.
00:06:31.000 But Whoopi Goldberg at The View is offended by this.
00:06:35.000 She says that it's unnecessary that because the House of Representatives says the Pledge of Allegiance every day in the morning when there's like four or five people there, that we shouldn't go to the great waste and the great time expense of saying the Pledge of Allegiance in the House Judiciary Committee.
00:06:53.000 Take a listen to Whoopi's argument.
00:06:58.000 I also want to point out that Congress has already been saying the Pledge of Allegiance at work every day since 1988.
00:07:05.000 Ceciline's amendment was shot down because they didn't want to hear that, but Gates ended up passing his pass without opposition.
00:07:13.000 Again, it was something that already happens every day when folks walk in and they start their day. That's what they do.
00:07:21.000 Does it still count as a win if you just vote on something that's already fair?
00:07:24.000 I don't know. I don't know.
00:07:25.000 You know, and this is the Judiciary Committee, right?
00:07:28.000 So wouldn't it be better show of patriotism to be working on issues like police violence, mass shootings, prison reforms?
00:07:36.000 You know, people, I don't know what it's going to take for them to recognize that people don't, they're not, we're not fooling around.
00:07:46.000 The people of the United States are not fooling around. You wasted everybody's time suggesting your people do what they already do.
00:07:57.000 What is this waste of time?
00:08:01.000 Hey, Whoopi, maybe one of the reasons why we want to say the Pledge is that so that we understand the values that brought this nation into fruition and we wouldn't do things like defund the police or pass gun control.
00:08:14.000 The Pledge of Allegiance didn't even used to be controversial. And her argument is essentially, we get so much of the Pledge of Allegiance by saying it once at the beginning of the day in Congress, we should not have to reassert it in the House Judiciary Committee.
00:08:27.000 But there is something august and special about the House Judiciary Committee. It is literally the committee charged with protecting our constitutional rights, defending the freedoms that make the United States the envy of the world.
00:08:42.000 And so it is entirely appropriate. But what answers Whoopi is not just my articulation of my adoration for the Pledge of Allegiance.
00:08:53.000 It's Sonny Houston, one of the other hosts on The View, because her argument is, you know what, we shouldn't be saying the Pledge at all.
00:09:01.000 We're not an exceptional country. We should distance ourself from the great aspiration of being a shining light.
00:09:09.000 We should listen to Sonny.
00:09:12.000 The problem that I have is with this narrative of American exceptionalism that we've been taught since we were kids.
00:09:19.000 I mean, I set the Pledge of Allegiance, you know, all through my life in school.
00:09:23.000 And then when I got into college, I took an African-American history course.
00:09:27.000 And I started realizing that the actual Pledge of Allegiance doesn't apply to a lot of our citizens.
00:09:32.000 Well, they weren't informing us.
00:09:33.000 Yeah, it hasn't met the dream of being exceptional. It hasn't met this country, hasn't met this dream of being this beacon on a hill.
00:09:42.000 And so I think the Supreme Court has already ruled you can't force anyone to take the Pledge.
00:09:46.000 But I think until we really meet the promise of what this country could truly be, then we shouldn't be touting us out as exceptionalists.
00:10:00.000 America shouldn't be touted as exceptional.
00:10:05.000 That is the view that you principally get on the show The View.
00:10:09.000 And it's certainly not the view that we see throughout my district or throughout this great country.
00:10:14.000 We are exceptional. We are different.
00:10:16.000 For all the flaws we have, for all the work that even our founders understood we must do to be a more perfect union,
00:10:23.000 this is the greatest country that has ever existed in all of human history.
00:10:27.000 And for Sonny Houston to disparage us, to disparage our nation, our ancestors on the set of The View shows exactly why the Pledge of Allegiance is so necessary.
00:10:39.000 Because we have an obligation to inculcate pro-American values and the anti-American values.
00:10:46.000 They get all the lift you could imagine from big tech and from some of the unpatriotic voices that you see programmed and platformed on the mainstream media.
00:10:59.000 Sorry, Sonny, we're proud of this country and my amendment did pass and we will be saying the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of our lovely Judiciary Committee meetings.
00:11:11.000 So I wanted to talk about another matter and it's our environment.
00:11:15.000 I love America's beautiful environment.
00:11:19.000 And it's actually part of being a true Florida man.
00:11:21.000 I come from the sunshine state, the prettiest state in the country.
00:11:24.000 Our land and oceans and streams and animals have always enchanted me.
00:11:29.000 And I feel more patriotic and connected to my country because I am connected to its wild spaces.
00:11:37.000 Recognizing and celebrating beauty is important because you look at these tyrannical societies, these socialist societies,
00:11:44.000 and all of the architecture is hideous.
00:11:48.000 That's because tyrants don't want you to think that you deserve beauty.
00:11:53.000 They think that low of you.
00:11:55.000 What does that sound like?
00:11:57.000 So here's something a lot of people don't know about me.
00:12:00.000 I love birds.
00:12:01.000 I watch them over the bayous of Florida and I am transfixed by their majesty.
00:12:06.000 My wife, Ginger, even complains that when I drive I endanger the roadways by looking for ospreys and herons and eagles.
00:12:13.000 So if you like birds, too, you should be irritated that much of the Green New Deal calls for an expansion of wind generated energy.
00:12:24.000 Tear down the trees, destroy the habitat and install wind farms.
00:12:30.000 It is happening everywhere.
00:12:32.000 And the Biden plan calls for massive expansion of wind.
00:12:35.000 And we should question that and review it because he has basically embraced the Green New Deal through executive action.
00:12:43.000 And the Green New Deal was largely funded to the moon after this terrible omnibus bill.
00:12:48.000 That's what Marjorie Taylor Greene and I had been warning people that this omnibus bill really was the funding stream for the Green New Deal.
00:12:57.000 Why is that bad?
00:12:59.000 The American Bird Conservancy predicts that if the 20 percent national goal for wind to contribute to our electricity portfolio, if that actually happens and that's Biden's goal, it would potentially kill at least one million birds a year by 2030.
00:13:17.000 We already kill almost 700,000 birds a year with the current American wind portfolio right now with no expansion.
00:13:26.000 And the consequences to some of the species is devastating.
00:13:30.000 According to energymonitor.com, wind expansion in California could literally result in the extinction of the golden eagle, one of the most majestic birds to grace our skies.
00:13:43.000 And if I have to choose between wind energy or the golden eagle, give me the eagle.
00:13:50.000 I think that makes me more of an environmentalist than the people who embrace some of these wacky ideas.
00:13:55.000 According to Granger Hunt, who's a raptor specialist, quote, there is nothing in the evolution of eagles that would come near to describing a wind turbine.
00:14:06.000 There has never been an opportunity to adapt to that sort of threat.
00:14:11.000 The lattice work found on turbine infrastructure makes an ideal perch for large birds of prey.
00:14:17.000 So they're attracted to the same spires that are also a death trap, close quote.
00:14:24.000 That sounds horrible.
00:14:27.000 Grizzly.
00:14:28.000 And the consequences are even deadlier over water.
00:14:32.000 That makes a lot of sense.
00:14:33.000 Migratory birds, bald eagles, seahawks, such as ospreys, are unaware that the blade tips can be moving at 180 miles an hour.
00:14:43.000 Many of these birds are focused on prey below.
00:14:46.000 That's what they're biologically driven to do.
00:14:48.000 These factors render wind turbines over water, quote, ecological death traps, according to many experts and reports.
00:14:57.000 The Atlantic did a specific report on the unique danger caused to migratory birds who could be wiped out in mass numbers.
00:15:05.000 Here's the policy problem.
00:15:08.000 Democrats are so hell-bent to align with the Green New Deal politically that they ignore the real dangers that some of these policies actually have for the environment.
00:15:20.000 It's like some of our most splendid fauna get treated as sacrifices made on the altar of environmental wokeness.
00:15:29.000 And it's really offensive to sound environmental policy.
00:15:35.000 Large corporations, which often overpromise on their renewable energy deliverables, cozy up to the government and they get special treatment.
00:15:44.000 Treatment that other energy producers don't get.
00:15:47.000 Wind generators get bird kill quotas.
00:15:51.000 But the math is total garbage.
00:15:53.000 This is because wind developers are allowed to self-report violations of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.
00:16:03.000 Imagine that, government letting you self-report.
00:16:06.000 Only for these folks, not for you.
00:16:08.000 And it's easy for them to under-report because, and I know this will come as a huge surprise,
00:16:14.000 when a bird goes into a wind turbine, there usually isn't much evidence left.
00:16:19.000 Wind developers don't have such a great track record playing by the rules.
00:16:24.000 Now, Nextera Energy is the parent company that owns Florida Power and Light.
00:16:29.000 That is the power company that has a monopoly to provide energy to my entire congressional district and many others throughout the country.
00:16:38.000 One Nextera subsidiary pleaded guilty to criminal charges and was ordered to pay over $8 million in fines and restitution after at least 150 eagles were killed at its wind farms across eight states.
00:16:51.000 Federal prosecutors say the number of birds killed was likely far higher.
00:16:56.000 The danger of wind to birds is so serious and undeniable, so it must be ignored by the woke left.
00:17:04.000 They're too bothered pushing Biden's offshore wind boondoggle to understand the impact on birds.
00:17:12.000 And nothing brings this into sharper focus than Democrat Congressman Frank Pallone's reaction to my question recently on the House floor.
00:17:22.000 We were debating my amendment to preserve the Florida coastline for military testing and not to allow offshore oil drilling.
00:17:28.000 Now, Congressman Pallone opposed my amendment not because he's opposed to my drilling ban,
00:17:34.000 but because he's hell-bent on putting wind farms off the coast of Florida's shores.
00:17:40.000 And then when confronted by the potential impact on birds, he didn't care.
00:17:45.000 Take a listen.
00:17:47.000 There are a lot of great places where we can unlock the potential of our country to ensure that we have a sufficient strategic petroleum reserve,
00:17:56.000 which is the essence of the bill.
00:17:58.000 And this amendment gives my colleagues in Florida a great comfort that none of the treatment of existing moratoriums
00:18:05.000 would in any way harm coastal Florida, coastal Georgia, or coastal South Carolina.
00:18:10.000 I don't disagree with the gentleman from Florida in terms of prohibiting offshore drilling.
00:18:18.000 But I did not hear him mention, I may have been mistaken, but I did not hear him mention the fact that his bill also prohibits offshore wind
00:18:26.000 and renewables off the coast of Florida.
00:18:28.000 And to have an amendment that says that offshore wind is not acceptable or should be prohibited
00:18:35.000 flies in the face of what we should be doing to address the climate crisis.
00:18:40.000 And so for that reason, even though I may agree to the idea that we should prove...
00:18:46.000 Yes?
00:18:47.000 The impact of some of those wind farms on migratory bird populations.
00:18:53.000 Look, I take back my time.
00:18:55.000 There's a very easy way, in my opinion, to manage and regulate offshore wind.
00:19:02.000 The amendment is agreed to.
00:19:04.000 Country Girl 3 watching on Rumble with thousands of others says,
00:19:13.000 Hunters and fishermen are more environmentalists than our government.
00:19:16.000 They do really believe in saving the environment.
00:19:19.000 I fully agree with that statement.
00:19:21.000 And Kyle on Facebook says,
00:19:23.000 Wind farms are ugly.
00:19:25.000 Keep them in California where they belong.
00:19:28.000 I think we can all agree that representatives should not be so dismissive and should actually know better.
00:19:33.000 Off Florida's shores, we find a splendid array of bald eagles, osprey, painted bunting, brown pelicans, white pelicans,
00:19:42.000 marbled godwit, and swallow-tailed kites.
00:19:48.000 More birds winter in Florida than I could possibly list.
00:19:52.000 Snowbirding to Florida is not just for humans, it's actually for the birds too.
00:19:57.000 And we shouldn't be so enamored with renewable energy that we discount or ignore the impact to our planet and the animals that we share her with.
00:20:09.000 Let's be pro-actual environmentalism, not pro-political environmentalism.
00:20:14.000 And you want to know why they prefer the political environmentalism to actual environmentalism?
00:20:20.000 It's about power.
00:20:21.000 It's about power over your life.
00:20:23.000 And it's power we should not surrender, not only for our own sake, but for the sake of these wonderful animals that we share the planet with.
00:20:30.000 So recently I was on the floor of the House of Representatives debating about growing concerns over the ATF.
00:20:38.000 I filed legislation to abolish the ATF.
00:20:41.000 We've covered it on Firebrand quite a bit.
00:20:44.000 There was a special hour of debate reserved by my colleague Representative Clyde of Georgia over this ruling that we've just seen come out on pistol braces.
00:20:54.000 It is a ruling I totally oppose.
00:20:56.000 I want you to get my perspective direct from the floor. Take a listen.
00:21:01.000 I thank the gentleman for his leadership and for yielding.
00:21:04.000 The ATF's new rule, criminalizing pistol braces, is a brazen and unlawful attempt to usurp congressional authority.
00:21:13.000 This pistol brace rule will fail for the same reason the bump stock rule failed.
00:21:18.000 The ATF does not have the authority to create federal law.
00:21:22.000 Nobody voted for the ATF, though I know a lot of people who would vote against them if they could.
00:21:28.000 This new rule will ban pistol braces on certain firearms, forcing users to jump through numerous hoops to comply with this new decree or risk becoming a felon.
00:21:38.000 Disabled veterans and others have used these braces for years to help them fire pistols.
00:21:43.000 And the ATF has unilaterally decided that this is no longer acceptable.
00:21:48.000 Now, otherwise, law-abiding Americans will either have to destroy their newly illegal firearms or figure out how to comply with an arbitrary and confusing regulatory scheme outlined in the National Firearms Act.
00:22:02.000 The ATF cannot be trusted to protect our rights to keep and bear arms.
00:22:09.000 There is no timeline in which the ATF, under any administration, would become an ally.
00:22:17.000 It needs to go. We need to abolish the ATF before they abolish our Second Amendment rights.
00:22:21.000 Alcohol, tobacco, and firearms should be the name of a chain of convenience stores in Florida, not a federal agency.
00:22:29.000 I urge every red-blooded American and every conservative in this Congress to stand with Representative Clyde and his legislation and to stand with me and co-sponsor my bill, the Abolish the ATF Act of 2023.
00:22:42.000 Let's get rid of this unlawful agency once and for all and let this special order be considered a shot across the bow.
00:22:51.000 I yield back to the gentleman from Georgia.
00:22:53.000 We will work to abolish the ATF, defund the ATF, target the bureaucrats at the ATF by zeroing out their salaries and using the power of the purse if necessary to ensure that we vindicate the God-given, constitutionally articulated rights of law-abiding gun owners.
00:23:13.880 Final note before we go, just moments ago the House of Representatives voted to strip Ilhan Omar from her committee assignment to the Foreign Affairs Committee.
00:23:22.240 I voted with the majority on that matter, but I can't say that it was the best feeling in the world to look at speech as some sort of threshold for someone's participation in the political process.
00:23:36.300 Frankly, if Ilhan Omar hadn't voted against Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar, I might have viewed things differently.
00:23:44.500 But she voted against folks who had done nothing wrong and did not deserve to be removed from her committees.
00:23:50.860 And maybe the only way we get past this and stop this tit-for-tat is to once and for all end it.
00:23:57.000 So I voted with the Speaker.
00:23:59.240 I believe Speaker McCarthy deserved deference on this matter.
00:24:02.300 But know this, my viewers, my friends, my supporters, those of you who participate in our podcast project, if the way this works, by rhythm, whenever the House of Representatives change hands,
00:24:16.260 there's this implicit requirement that the new majority go and zap members of the other side because of their speech, well, I mean, I'm going to be the one they come for.
00:24:26.040 I'm going to say something edgy or not aligned with the dogma of the day in the Armed Services Committee or the Judiciary Committee, and they'll say, oh, Gates is promoting gun violence because he believes in the Second Amendment.
00:24:40.020 Oh, you know, because Gates doesn't want wokeness in the military, he's advancing anti-trans tropes.
00:24:45.920 You know what?
00:24:47.100 You don't get to pick the lineup of the other team.
00:24:50.660 The Democrats made that mistake on the January 6th committee.
00:24:53.000 They made that mistake vis-a-vis Marjorie Taylor Greene and Paul Gosar, and my hope is that this is the end of it.
00:24:59.440 So while Ilhan Omar says things that I find detestable, that I totally disagree with, I didn't vote against her because of her speech.
00:25:07.720 I voted against her because she engaged in this effort to deplatform my friends Paul Gosar and Marjorie Taylor Greene, and this has to end, and I thought this was the only way to make it end.
00:25:17.960 And actually, there have been some pretty productive behind-the-scenes discussions with Kevin McCarthy that I've had, conversations between Hakeem Jeffries and Kevin McCarthy, where we recognize that this activity of stripping other sides from committees is really beneath the dignity of the institution.
00:25:37.400 And we ought to be willing to confront bad ideas with our own speech and our own ideas, and that is what I endeavor to do for all of you and for my constituents each and every day.
00:25:47.260 Thank you all so much for joining me on Firebrand.
