The Auron MacIntyre Show - Jimmy Kimmel FIRED over Lying About the Charlie Kirk Assassination ｜ 9⧸18⧸25

00:00:00.260 Hey guys, I have a little bit of a different type of show for you today.

00:00:03.660 Normally, I either have a live stream with a guest, we go in-depth on something for like

00:00:08.200 an hour, or I have one of the shorter, prepared essays where I've thought through something.

00:00:12.940 But today I wanted to give you a live update on what happened with Jimmy Kimmel.

00:00:17.300 So obviously on Tuesday, I'm sure you already saw the footage, Jimmy Kimmel put out this

00:00:21.900 horrendous lie about the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

00:00:25.980 And people make terrible jokes, sometimes comedians make really black, dark jokes, even at opportune

00:00:31.820 times.

00:00:32.620 That wouldn't have been great, but it would have been understandable.

00:00:35.580 That is a mistake that sometimes people make.

00:00:37.480 They make jokes in poor taste, they try to be edgy in the wrong situations.

00:00:41.280 Probably would have had mean words for Jimmy Kimmel, but I would not have been interested

00:00:44.400 in going after his job.

00:00:45.680 However, Jimmy Kimmel went another step.

00:00:48.520 Jimmy Kimmel went beyond the line.

00:00:50.660 What Jimmy Kimmel did was specifically, knowingly, after all the facts were out, he lied to his

00:00:57.320 audience about who killed Charlie Kirk.

00:01:00.000 We know Jimmy Kimmel knew the fact that there was a leftist terrorist that killed Charlie Kirk.

00:01:06.880 The guy had anti-fascist propaganda carved into his bullets.

00:01:10.900 He was living with a man who was pretending to be a woman.

00:01:14.080 Everything we had seen from his internet radicalization to the testimony of his friends and parents had

00:01:19.540 said that this guy was a far leftist and really hated Charlie Kirk for the things that he believed.

00:01:25.360 So, Jimmy Kimmel's direct lie was a really, really heinous act for a few reasons.

00:01:30.620 One, obviously, it covers up the reality that it was leftists who murdered Charlie Kirk.

00:01:36.240 That means you're covering for these terror cells.

00:01:38.960 They still exist in the United States.

00:01:40.660 Antifa is still an active force in the United States.

00:01:43.040 And by lying about this, you are covering up.

00:01:45.860 It is like trying to lie about the Ku Klux Klan doing something bad.

00:01:49.020 You are going out of your way to cover up the fact that this terrorist organization went ahead

00:01:54.800 and killed someone just for speaking on a college campus.

00:01:58.660 That means you are covering up for their culpability, for who really did this.

00:02:03.180 Simultaneously, you're also feeding the idea of more radical leftists that it's only the right that is violent.

00:02:10.260 And so, therefore, their continued actions are fine.

00:02:12.660 I know people, again, in my real life who still believe this insane conspiracy that Donald Trump wasn't really shot and it was all staged by, like, the CIA or something to get him installed into power.

00:02:23.940 People like that, consuming even more of the lies from Jimmy Kimmel, just fall further and further into this perverse reality that has no connection to the real world.

00:02:33.140 And that means they're willing to continue to use insane, incendiary language to encourage more and more violence because they think it's only the right that is actually taking any kind of action.

00:02:43.940 And watching this on Tuesday night, I felt the need that something had to be done.

00:02:48.640 I said this on Twitter.

00:02:49.560 Look, Jimmy Kimmel has to lose his job after this.

00:02:52.240 This is completely unacceptable.

00:02:54.380 He is covering for terrorists.

00:02:56.260 He is encouraging more terrorism by his actions.

00:02:59.240 And he knows what he is doing by lying to his audience this way.

00:03:02.500 There has to be a cost for this.

00:03:04.560 And I said that into the void on Tuesday night.

00:03:07.000 And then I remembered on Wednesday morning, wait, we can do this.

00:03:11.380 Like, we can do this.

00:03:12.940 We can make this happen.

00:03:13.980 We don't have to sit around and wait for the Trump administration.

00:03:16.340 We don't have to hope that someone.

00:03:17.640 No, we can make this happen.

00:03:19.500 So I put out the call on my Twitter.

00:03:21.400 I gathered as many immediate big sponsors as I could find and kind of put their Twitter handles and made sure that everyone knew they should reach out to Disney and ABC and Jimmy Kimmel's producers and the actual advertisers.

00:03:35.340 And we should be pushing full spectrum to make sure that this guy is pushed off the air.

00:03:40.680 Not because, you know, we don't like some kind of joke, not because we don't believe in free speech, but because this guy is actually creating an environment to get people killed.

00:03:49.140 He's actively lying about terrorism.

00:03:51.060 He's covering for dangerous terror organizations.

00:03:54.240 And he's he's knowingly doing it.

00:03:56.280 This is all with the intention of ensuring that more and more terrorists can continue to operate on the left in the United States.

00:04:03.960 So luckily, due to the number of large accounts that I interact with, follow me, that kind of thing, I was able to send this post out to people like lives of TikTok and mostly peaceful memes and Jack Posobiec and just these big accounts with huge reaches.

00:04:19.380 And they were more than happy to jump in and push the idea, make sure that people saw what was going on.

00:04:24.740 I also want to send a great big thank you to Jake Colglazer.

00:04:29.300 I'm sorry if I said your name wrong there, but he was kind enough to compile even more contact information, phone numbers, emails.

00:04:36.720 I also received some behind the scenes emails from people who don't want to be named, but we're doing the Lord's work, making sure that we could get the most direct line of access to all of these sponsors, all of these different corporations, all of these heads of boards, make sure they knew how people felt.

00:04:52.560 Now, unbeknownst to me, simultaneously, Benny Johnson, who is a big MAGA mainstream podcaster, has huge audiences, new Charlie Kirk, he was working the effort from a different angle at the same time.

00:05:07.240 I didn't know about this, but our efforts were kind of meeting in the middle.

00:05:10.180 He was actually going the elite theory route, which I really should have thought of, but he probably has a bigger reach and more influence to make that happen.

00:05:18.040 I doubt I could have gotten those things done the way that he did, but he was very smart.

00:05:22.240 And he went to one of the FCC commissioners, Brendan Carr, and said, hey, aren't they violating their FCC agreements?

00:05:30.560 Because remember, broadcast TV is not like YouTube or a podcast or something.

00:05:36.060 When you sign on to be on broadcast television, that broadcast television exists because the federal government has carved out a part of the broadcast spectrum for that corporation.

00:05:47.180 And the deal between the federal government and the corporation is you get to broadcast on these airwaves that are otherwise public domain because we have an agreement that you're going to behave in a certain way.

00:05:59.160 You have to provide a public service.

00:06:01.460 You have to educate the public, let them know what the news is, and you have to be honest about it.

00:06:05.580 And if you maliciously lie, if you knowingly lie, that's actually a listed violation of the FCC's deal with you for maintaining your broadcast status.

00:06:16.760 And so Carr went out there and said, yeah, this looks like it could be a clear violation.

00:06:21.560 And if ABC doesn't do something about this, then there's legitimate grounds to have their license pulled to look at their broadcast license.

00:06:30.780 Now, that was very smart, but that wasn't the only thing that Benny Johnson did.

00:06:34.440 He also pushed on the affiliates.

00:06:36.680 Remember, ABC is just putting the content out.

00:06:40.060 It's the affiliate stations that actually technically distribute that content.

00:06:45.280 So if you can get the affiliates to say that they don't want to carry the program, they can have a significant impact on whether or not the show actually airs on ABC.

00:06:54.160 If a large number of affiliates won't carry it, it doesn't matter if ABC is producing it and putting it out.

00:07:00.540 So he went to Nextstar and he went to Sinclair Broadcasting and both of those very large affiliates said, no, actually, we're going to refuse to carry the Jimmy Kimmel show.

00:07:11.060 We'll just play something else in its place when even though we're an ABC station, our affiliates will not broadcast this.

00:07:18.060 And of course, this is a huge, devastating hit to the sponsors because they are paying to make sure that that show goes out, that the message they put on that show goes out to all these different affiliates.

00:07:27.960 So if you're losing large chunks of your audience before you've even aired a show, I mean, who knows what the actual backlash would have been, how many viewers he would have lost due to what he said.

00:07:38.800 But on top of that, so many affiliates aren't even going to bother to broadcast the show.

00:07:43.280 That's a huge hit.

00:07:44.340 Now, of course, leftists are screeching all over the place.

00:07:47.020 This is the end of free speech.

00:07:48.480 You use the government to silence a comedian, whatever.

00:07:52.380 All lies, all lies.

00:07:53.620 First, I don't know which of these things ultimately leveraged ABC to make this decision.

00:07:58.740 Was it the FCC license stuff?

00:08:00.580 Was it the different affiliate pressure?

00:08:02.740 Was it the pressure that we put on it from sponsors and other things from our side and the email campaign?

00:08:08.200 I don't know.

00:08:08.840 It's probably all of these things.

00:08:10.380 There's also a very real point to be made that ultimately Jimmy Kimmel was in trouble.

00:08:14.820 His contract wasn't looking good for renegotiations when it was up.

00:08:18.340 And it was very clear from the failure of many different late night hosts that that format of TV is just kind of dying.

00:08:25.000 And so in many ways, ABC may have already had one foot out the door for Kimmel and just said, you know what?

00:08:31.040 It's just not worth the hassle.

00:08:32.880 This guy is losing us money anyway.

00:08:34.780 No one's watching this stuff.

00:08:36.340 So just push him out the door.

00:08:38.040 Either way, the point is that there was no undue influence from the federal government.

00:08:43.860 This was a real violation by Jimmy Kimmel.

00:08:46.480 Jimmy Kimmel makes the same agreement that anyone else does when he's on broadcast news.

00:08:51.560 And his status as a comedian doesn't exempt him from lying about the news.

00:08:56.900 He didn't make a joke and get fired for the joke.

00:08:59.380 That is not what happened here.

00:09:01.320 What happened here is Jimmy Kimmel, as he so often does, was giving a sermon to his people.

00:09:07.040 He's not a comedian.

00:09:08.140 He hasn't been funny in so long.

00:09:09.540 It's insane.

00:09:10.160 What he did is he got up in front of people and lied to them in a position of trust in the hopes that he could cover up a terrorist attack.

00:09:18.240 That is not okay.

00:09:19.480 That is a direct violation of the law.

00:09:21.580 There is no reason that a guy like that should be granted an FCC-licensed vehicle when it's violating the very agreement involved.

00:09:29.580 So, no, and in the end, they didn't even take the license.

00:09:34.100 They didn't threaten to take the license.

00:09:35.500 He simply pointed out, the chairman simply pointed out, that, yes, this is a violation.

00:09:39.440 And if there was nothing done, then we would have to look into it.

00:09:41.900 Because, of course, you could.

00:09:42.720 That's like saying, hey, this car was broken into.

00:09:45.380 So we have to look into it.

00:09:46.660 That's our job as police.

00:09:48.160 So it's not like they came up with some kind of draconian, tyrannical understanding to crush the free speech of somebody.

00:09:55.160 No, most of the work was probably done by getting the affiliates to pull things and having, you know, Disney executives bombarded by many, many, many, many emails saying, what are you doing?

00:10:05.360 Why are you letting this insane person get on your network and spew his hatred and lie and cover up a terrorist plot?

00:10:12.500 Like, that's what actually did the pressure of this.

00:10:14.820 I'm sure the FCC bit didn't hurt, but that was not ultimately the thing that I think probably pushed it over.

00:10:20.460 It certainly wasn't the direct application of any kind of government restriction that got Jimmy Kimmel removed.

00:10:25.400 When I found out my friend got a great deal on a wool coat from Winners, I started wondering, is every fabulous item I see from Winners?

00:10:34.000 Like that woman over there with the designer jeans. 1.00

00:10:36.920 Are those from Winners?

00:10:38.480 Ooh, or those beautiful gold earrings?

00:10:40.920 Did she pay full price?

00:10:42.260 Or that leather tote?

00:10:43.260 Or that cashmere sweater?

00:10:44.160 Or those knee-high boots?

00:10:45.960 That dress?

00:10:46.740 That jacket?

00:10:47.400 Those shoes?

00:10:48.440 Is anyone paying full price for anything?

00:10:51.380 Stop wondering.

00:10:52.660 Start winning.

00:10:53.580 Winners.

00:10:54.160 Find fabulous for less.

00:10:56.280 All that to say, I just want to tell you guys, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

00:11:02.220 Because we started this effort at like 9 a.m. yesterday.

00:11:05.520 And I came on the show, you know, did the stream.

00:11:09.340 It was originally about Pam Bondi, but obviously needed to talk about Jimmy Kimmel.

00:11:12.840 And in the last like 15 minutes, I just kind of made an appeal.

00:11:16.000 Hey, please get out there.

00:11:17.620 You know, contact these people.

00:11:19.360 Email these people.

00:11:20.040 We'll call these people.

00:11:21.460 Make this happen.

00:11:22.720 We have to make this happen.

00:11:23.960 It's not the most exciting or glamorous thing in the world.

00:11:27.880 I don't really love doing the tattletale stuff.

00:11:30.380 But like I said, this was not just stopping somebody who made like a mean joke or something.

00:11:35.100 Not even somebody who celebrated Charlie Kirk's death, though that would be heinous enough.

00:11:39.040 But someone who's actively and maliciously lying to get more people killed.

00:11:42.320 To cover up for terrorism.

00:11:43.520 To enable more terrorism.

00:11:45.120 That's who Jimmy Kimmel was.

00:11:46.460 That's the kind of guy he was.

00:11:47.900 That's the kind of person he was in day in and day out.

00:11:51.120 And we just couldn't allow that anymore.

00:11:54.540 Charlie Kirk is dead because people like this won't stop trying to foment left-wing terrorism.

00:12:00.460 And so some price had to be paid.

00:12:02.500 And I'm very proud of you guys.

00:12:04.580 And I'm very happy to say that the price was paid.

00:12:06.880 And by dinner time, they had announced that Jimmy Kimmel was suspended indefinitely with no intention to return.

00:12:12.980 Now, I've heard that much of this comes from the fact that he refused initially to apologize.

00:12:18.400 He didn't think he had said anything wrong.

00:12:19.960 At first, they were just going to try to smooth it over with an apology and get that by.

00:12:24.100 FCC probably won't come after us if we come out and correct the record and these kind of things.

00:12:29.440 Maybe we can repair relationships with the different advertisers and the affiliates.

00:12:34.900 But even then, he just wasn't willing to do it.

00:12:38.400 He's too proud.

00:12:39.260 He's too hateful.

00:12:40.500 He just supports the terrorism.

00:12:43.760 That's why he was covering for it because ultimately, he supports this stuff.

00:12:47.960 And so he is no longer on the air.

00:12:50.300 Now, Jimmy Kimmel, like a lot of canceled celebrities, I'm sure will come back.

00:12:54.840 He's going to start a podcast and make some money somewhere.

00:12:57.060 But this one's important because it shows people there is a real cost, a high-profile cost.

00:13:04.240 And more importantly, and this one's clutch, it shows the right that we can win.

00:13:10.180 We can win.

00:13:11.220 We can just do things.

00:13:13.040 You don't have to imagine the roles being reversed.

00:13:15.100 You can reverse the roles.

00:13:16.620 We wanted free speech.

00:13:19.360 They wouldn't let us have free speech.

00:13:20.900 They killed the free speech guy.

00:13:22.280 All they understand is power.

00:13:23.580 When Charlie Kirk was murdered in cold blood in front of his children, these people danced on his grave.

00:13:30.520 They called him a bigot.

00:13:31.620 They called him a fascist.

00:13:33.000 They said he got what was coming.

00:13:34.100 The world was a better place without him.

00:13:36.120 They praised this act.

00:13:38.560 So that's what we got with free speech.

00:13:41.700 All they understand is power.

00:13:43.160 Now, now that Jimmy Kimmel has been removed by soft power, they're crying, they're whining, they're complaining, they're saying it's the end of the world.

00:13:53.060 So guess what?

00:13:54.140 You couldn't understand with free speech?

00:13:55.460 You only respect power?

00:13:56.480 All right, we'll teach you.

00:13:57.720 We'll teach you with power.

00:13:59.120 That's fine.

00:14:00.120 We can make that happen.

00:14:02.820 So again, just want to say thank you to the audience.

00:14:06.700 I'm so very proud of you guys.

00:14:08.680 Thank you to Benny Johnson.

00:14:09.660 Thank you to the people who, you know, in front of the scenes and behind the scenes helped me to bring forward these different contacts so that we could push this.

00:14:18.300 I just, I'm very glad that we were able to do our part in this and that this victory was won to make sure that animals like Jimmy Kimmel cannot lie about what happened to Charlie Kirk, cannot cover up his murder, cannot cover for terrorists.

00:14:33.800 We're done with that.

00:14:35.000 We're done with that.

00:14:35.960 That version of the right, that version of conservatism is gone.

00:14:38.900 This is the version that's willing to fight back.

00:14:41.360 This is the version that's willing to take the fight to the enemy, to stop the violence, to stop the terrorism, to do what it takes.

00:14:48.020 So thank you again, guys.

00:14:49.800 And as always, I'll talk to you next time.
