The Auron MacIntyre Show - The Bottom of the Slippery Slope ｜ 6⧸28⧸23

00:00:00.000 So you're hosting the family barbecue this week, but everyone knows your brother is the grill guy

00:00:05.160 and it's highly likely he'll be backseat barbecuing all night. So be it. Impress even

00:00:10.280 the toughest of critics with freshly prepared Canadian barbecue favorites from Sobeys.

00:00:17.940 The long ordeal of Pride Month is almost at a close, but this festival wouldn't be truly 1.00

00:00:22.800 complete without prominent figures advancing the argument for child sexualization. Adults

00:00:28.620 exposing themselves to random children on the street is de jure illegal. Those who do so are

00:00:33.820 criminals who should receive a prison sentence and a spot on the sex offender registry.

00:00:39.120 Until a few weeks ago, this was the obvious and unspoken consensus across America.

00:00:44.980 No discussion on this issue was needed. Perverts who waved their genitals at children went to jail 0.95

00:00:50.600 and were viewed with scorn for the rest of their lives. Very little debate was had on the issue 0.98

00:00:56.600 and no indecent exposure laws were really changed, but America finds itself in a place where proudly

00:01:02.720 flashing a crowd full of children has been de facto legalized. Police now stand idly by as grown men

00:01:10.760 enthusiastically display themselves to the public while confused children look on, hoping that some

00:01:16.840 adult will recognize the absurdity of the situation. Officers ignore the law, knowing better than to

00:01:23.500 disrupt a state-sanctioned religious festival and simply allow the public abuse and grooming to

00:01:28.760 unfold. Doing otherwise would mean immediate personal and professional destruction for an

00:01:34.960 officer or deputy who made the mistake of intervening. America has arrived at a very dark but entirely

00:01:41.640 predictable place, paying the cost of apathy and decadence with the innocence of its own children.

00:01:47.500 At a pride parade in Seattle over the weekend, a group of nude adults rode bicycles in the middle 0.98

00:01:54.440 of the street as they waved giddily at a crowd full of children. Twitter accounts like libs of TikTok and

00:02:00.900 the post-millennial broke the story, including video of the shocking event, and the response from

00:02:06.080 progressives was rather telling. I won't be sharing any of that footage with you in this video because

00:02:12.840 I am unsure what the legality or the YouTube regulations are surrounding that kind of footage.

00:02:20.780 The left was outraged not at the adults who had exposed themselves to children, but at the

00:02:25.820 conservative media outlets which had dared to reveal what actually happened to minors in one of

00:02:31.320 America's largest cities. Attorney and progressive pundit Ron Filipkowski tweeted out, quote,

00:02:38.800 As I said when Pride Month began, the right uses this stuff to win elections and then pass laws and appoint 1.00

00:02:45.580 judges to take away your rights, end quote.

00:02:49.420 Star Trek actor and outspoken activist George Takei quickly replied, quote,

00:02:55.340 Even if there were no naked men on bikes this year, they would find pictures or generate them and push the

00:03:01.360 same agenda anyway. There is no fixing this by calling for self-censorship, end quote.

00:03:07.000 The horrific honesty of this exchange is stunning. It would seem that the grown men exposing themselves

00:03:14.220 to children is not the real problem. It is in fact a right and a form of self-expression.

00:03:20.900 Takei characterizes covering one's genitals as self-censorship, which can only lead to one

00:03:26.460 question. Why does the actor see getting naked in front of a crowd full of children as an essential

00:03:33.340 expression of LGBTQ identity? The implication is that this activity is both normal and encouraged

00:03:41.600 at Pride events and was only being curtailed due to concerns about optics now that minors are regularly

00:03:47.760 in attendance. Takei, sure that the right will continue to oppose Pride events no matter what,

00:03:54.200 simply sees no reason for LGBTQ parade participants to censor themselves by wearing clothes in front of

00:04:00.520 children. As stunning as this admission may seem, the reaction of progressive journalist Brian

00:04:06.540 Krasenstein proved to be an even more mask-off moment. Like Filipkowski, Krasenstein took to

00:04:13.220 Twitter to express his outrage, not at the adults who had exposed themselves to children, but at the

00:04:18.640 conservative media outlets which shared the video taken at the events.

00:04:22.020 We hope you're enjoying your Air Canada flight. Rocky's vacation, here we come. Whoa, is this

00:04:28.840 economy? Free beer, wine, and snacks. Sweet! Fast-free Wi-Fi means I can make dinner reservations

00:04:35.840 before we land. And with live TV, I'm not missing the game. It's kind of like I'm already on vacation.

00:04:43.660 Nice! 0.94

00:04:44.840 On behalf of Air Canada, nice travels.

00:04:47.300 Wi-Fi available to aeroplane members on equipped flights. Sponsored by Bell. Conditions apply.

00:04:51.420 See your Canada dot com.

00:04:53.320 Krasenstein was at least wise enough to initially frame his protests as concern for children who

00:04:58.940 might see the footage on Twitter, chastising conservative outlets for complaining about

00:05:03.640 child exposure in one instance, but facilitating it on other platforms.

00:05:08.660 It was obvious that his real intent was to shame conservative outlets for revealing what

00:05:13.720 happened at the event, but at least he was clever about the way he went about it.

00:05:18.800 That changed once another account challenged Krasenstein, asserting that he was more angry

00:05:24.060 with alternative media sources that had revealed the truth than he was with adults who flashed

00:05:29.300 children in the streets.

00:05:31.020 The journalist quickly replied, quote,

00:05:33.320 Seeing a man naked on a bike isn't going to have much of an impact on any kid. That they

00:05:39.100 have likely seen their father's or brother naked before. End quote.

00:05:44.500 Krasenstein would later attempt to backtrack, stating that he opposed the men exposing themselves

00:05:49.520 to children, but it was too late. The initial reaction, painting the incident as insignificant,

00:05:55.340 had already revealed his true position.

00:05:57.360 Chants of, we're coming for your children, were heard repeatedly at this year's New York

00:06:03.880 City drag march. The phrase became infamous after a video of the San Francisco gay men's

00:06:10.580 chorus singing a song with those lyrics went viral in 2021. As you might imagine, the normalization

00:06:17.960 of this phrase among LGBTQ activists had many parents understandably concerned. NBC News decided

00:06:26.440 to try to smooth over public relations by writing a piece explaining that we're coming for your

00:06:32.100 children is a phrase that gay rights activists have been chanting for years and that there was

00:06:36.920 nothing new about its usage at Pride events. Again, this article was meant to inform parents

00:06:43.520 that their concerns were unfounded because Pride attendees had been chanting we're coming for

00:06:48.800 your children for a very long time.

00:06:51.860 The cycle of normalization has repeated so often that by now every conservative should be able to

00:06:59.480 identify the phases on site.

00:07:02.460 Step 1. Claim nothing is happening and paint those that notice as conspiracy theorists.

00:07:09.520 Step 2. Acknowledge that some isolated incidents may be happening, but assert that those who notice

00:07:16.380 are motivated by bigotry. Step 3. Admit that yes, it might be happening, but claim that most people

00:07:24.160 don't really oppose it and that focusing on it is the real problem. Step 4. Openly force celebration

00:07:32.060 of the fact that it was always happening by threatening the livelihood of anyone that opposes you. 0.71

00:07:38.640 We are firmly in the okay, maybe gay men are regularly exposing themselves to children in public, 1.00

00:07:44.880 but it's fine actually, phase of the normalization discourse, and things will only accelerate from

00:07:50.760 here. Honestly, it's somewhat tiring to continually hear those who ask how we could have gotten this

00:07:56.760 far. We know exactly how we got this far. America was warned repeatedly by the religious right what

00:08:03.580 this path would look like, what would happen when the critical foundations of morality and tradition

00:08:09.020 were demolished. But the prophecies came from those who had been coded as old, low-class,

00:08:14.980 and desperately uncool, so they were discarded and mocked. These predictions were characterized as

00:08:20.960 ridiculous hyperbolic fantasies, illogical slippery slope arguments made by ignorant and backward people. 1.00

00:08:28.540 The slippery slope has remained undefeated, however, as prediction after prediction has come to pass. 0.99

00:08:33.920 It should surprise absolutely no one that removing every traditional barrier around sexuality would

00:08:40.940 eventually lead to a culture in which adults expose themselves to children with reckless abandon.

00:08:47.320 In 2021, the Washington Post ran an article by Lauren Ruelo titled,

00:08:52.480 Yes, Kink Belongs at Pride, and I Want My Kids to See It. The article was met with outrage,

00:08:58.060 but two years later, the position has become thoroughly mainstreamed.

00:09:01.660 LGBTQ identities are sexual by their very nature. When those like Takei or Ruelo characterize obscene 1.00

00:09:10.760 public sexual displays as self-expression integral to those identities, perhaps it's time for

00:09:17.200 conservatives to stop arguing with the activists and listen to what is being said. The truth might be

00:09:23.760 uncomfortable, but if progressives are willing to loudly declare it and conservatives refuse to face it,

00:09:29.760 then who is at fault? Fox News might be selling Caitlyn Jenner conservatism, but this strategy is just as doomed

00:09:38.000 to fail as the weak and cowardly half-measures that came before. So I come to you with what has,

00:09:44.480 in the year of our Lord 2023, become a radical proposition. Adults exposing themselves to children

00:09:51.560 in public should be a serious crime, one that lands them in jail and makes them unable to interact

00:09:57.760 with children for the rest of their lives. This should be the case even if it happens during the

00:10:03.120 state-sanctioned Holy Month of Pride. Sheriffs or police chiefs that do not stop this behavior

00:10:09.280 should be removed and prosecuted for child endangerment. People should fear the legal and

00:10:15.720 social consequences of exposing themselves to kids. There should be no discourse around the issue.

00:10:22.460 Progressives will probably declare this position bigoted and intolerant, but I really couldn't

00:10:27.640 care less. If those that oppose wokeness think that things are bad now, they have no idea what's

00:10:33.860 coming. As shocking as it may seem that parents are celebrating as grown men publicly expose themselves

00:10:40.280 to their children, it's important to understand that we're nowhere near the bottom of the slippery slope.

00:10:45.500 But on our current trajectory, we'll inevitably arrive at that incredibly dark and dangerous destination.
