00:00:30.000 Kamala Harris is an embarrassing human being. 1.00

00:00:33.520 After running an abysmal presidential campaign where she failed to win a single primary, 0.82

00:00:38.420 the California senator was placed on the Biden ticket to fulfill the demographic requirements

00:00:43.180 set forth by progressive ideology.

00:00:46.360 Originally, Harris was meant to be an heir to which an elderly Biden could pass the torch.

00:00:51.560 But once in office, it became clear that she had lost in the primary for a reason.

00:00:56.120 The vice president was quickly relegated to the background,

00:00:59.300 and largely became an afterthought until a disastrous debate performance by Biden made

00:01:03.900 it clear that the press could no longer run cover for their senile figurehead.

00:01:07.680 The media has now relaunched Harris as a charismatic social media icon,

00:01:13.280 and the bizarre thing is that many conservatives seem to have fallen for the propaganda blitz.

00:01:19.760 During the 2020 election, as the media paired with the managerial state to manufacture the

00:01:25.420 appearance of a world-ending plague, Joe Biden was offered as an inoffensive placeholder who could

00:01:31.360 usher in a return to normalcy.

00:01:33.780 The election of Donald Trump sent the establishment of both parties into a psychological tailspin,

00:01:39.320 and the ruling class decided to visit that mental anguish onto the public. 0.86

00:01:43.380 President Trump proved mostly capable of avoiding foreign conflicts, reducing the flow of illegal 0.73

00:01:49.280 immigration, and overseeing a successful economy, but the media's obsession with the Russiagate

00:01:54.300 conspiracy made every moment feel like a pitch to battle.

00:01:58.080 The successive blows of the pandemic and BLM riots gave the left the narrative momentum and 0.95

00:02:03.640 electoral irregularities necessary to unseat Trump, but they needed a bland alternative that

00:02:09.200 the terrorized electorate could safely turn to.

00:02:11.600 At the time, even leftist media commentators recognized that while old, doddering Joe was

00:02:18.960 inoffensive enough to get the job done, he was too male and too white to represent the future 1.00

00:02:24.260 of the Democratic Party.

00:02:26.580 Harris wasn't great on the campaign trail, but she was a woman of Jamaican and Indian heritage 1.00

00:02:31.780 who was just as much an empty vessel as Joe Biden.

00:02:35.300 She also had the advantage of not being plagued by dementia.

00:02:38.300 Biden described himself as a transitional president, and it was clear that the plan was to hand

00:02:43.800 Harris the keys to the kingdom after serving one term.

00:02:47.920 But every time the vice president opened her mouth, it became clear that she was an unlikable 0.98

00:02:53.580 dullard who often had difficulty attending minor events without making an embarrassing gaffe. 0.93

00:02:59.540 The establishment slowly realized that they had made a mistake in elevating her, decided to

00:03:04.600 double down on Biden, and just moved on.

00:03:08.140 After Biden made it clear that he intended to run for a second term, rumblings of displeasure

00:03:13.440 made their way through the media.

00:03:15.800 Journalists who had shamelessly covered for a man in obvious mental decline started to express

00:03:20.800 concern about the very ailments they had worked to obfuscate.

00:03:24.620 Some sectors of the press corps continued their defense of Biden's cognitive capabilities,

00:03:30.200 but when the president all but collapsed in his first debate with Trump, it became clear

00:03:34.140 that all the media bias in the world would still prove insufficient to push him over the

00:03:38.780 finish line.

00:03:40.400 Harris was still a disaster of a candidate, of course, which is why some party leaders like

00:03:45.280 Barack Obama called for an open primary.

00:03:47.860 But the very identity politics that progressives worship also tied their hands.

00:03:53.400 The left simply couldn't justify skipping over a black woman to put Gavin Newsom on the 1.00

00:03:58.500 ticket while lecturing the country about the importance of DEI.

00:04:01.900 So the Democrats bit the bullet and coronated a nominee who had never received a single vote

00:04:07.200 in the primary.

00:04:08.980 What's better than a well-marbled ribeye sizzling on the barbecue?

00:04:12.800 A well-marbled ribeye sizzling on the barbecue that was carefully selected by an Instacart

00:04:17.540 shopper and delivered to your door.

00:04:19.540 A well-marbled ribeye you ordered without even leaving the kiddie pool.

00:04:24.000 Whatever groceries your summer calls for, Instacart has you covered.

00:04:28.160 Download the Instacart app and enjoy $0 delivery fees on your first three orders.

00:04:33.020 Service fees, exclusions, and terms apply.

00:04:35.780 Instacart.

00:04:36.640 Groceries that over-deliver.

00:04:39.700 Inflation is out of control, the border is wide open, and people are tired of sending 0.90

00:04:44.620 billions of dollars to fight proxy wars while the infrastructure of their own country rots

00:04:49.540 away.

00:04:50.480 How do you sell a DEI candidate with the charisma of a wooden block who's functionally the incumbent?

00:04:56.520 The answer is that you lie a lot.

00:04:59.200 The media facilitated a strategy where Joe Biden could basically run from his basement in 2020

00:05:04.900 to hide his deficiencies, and a similar game plan seems to be in place for Harris in 2024.

00:05:10.480 The upshot of Harris being relegated to the kids' table for most of Biden's term is that

00:05:17.200 she fell out of view, allowing journalists to rewrite her public persona once she was 0.76

00:05:21.960 determined to be the successor.

00:05:23.980 When it comes to policy, Harris is a blank slate.

00:05:27.220 Like Biden, the vice president is basically a proxy for the prevailing elite opinion, with

00:05:32.400 no real prerogatives of her own.

00:05:34.260 This is exactly the kind of candidate that our managerial elites prefer, a puppet that

00:05:40.040 they can parade in front of the public, but is unlikely to disrupt the larger plan with

00:05:44.900 her own ambitions.

00:05:46.460 The real campaign was never Trump vs. Biden, just like it won't be Trump vs. Harris.

00:05:52.360 The real campaign was always Trump vs. the regime.

00:05:56.360 And that's why it felt like there was a shift in momentum once Harris became the de facto

00:06:01.000 nominee.

00:06:01.600 The anti-Trump energy of the entire progressive media complex suddenly transferred to its new,

00:06:09.400 more diverse avatar.

00:06:11.160 In any normal universe, surviving an assassination attempt with an iconic display of courage would

00:06:17.660 secure you a few favorable media cycles.

00:06:21.080 Only the most comically biased media would attempt to memory hole Trump's incredible moment

00:06:26.580 while selling Kamala Harris as a social media sensation.

00:06:30.220 But that is unfortunately the reality in the United States. 0.97

00:06:34.820 Harris is still dull, unlikable, and inept, so her campaign strategy has been to hide whenever 0.99

00:06:40.640 possible and only expose the candidate in the most controlled environments when absolutely 0.98

00:06:46.520 necessary.

00:06:48.000 There have been plenty of awkward stage video calls and free concerts masquerading as political

00:06:53.800 rallies, but little to no questioning from the press.

00:06:56.860 Mainstream journalists have more or less pledged their lives to getting Harris elected, but

00:07:02.900 even with that incredible bias, unscripted public exposure is still considered too dangerous.

00:07:10.280 Whenever she does speak, Harris seems to be intent on running against her own record.

00:07:16.380 The media has made a very awkward attempt to lie about the fact that the only real piece of

00:07:22.080 administration policy that Harris was given authority over was the southern border.

00:07:27.940 In 2021, after Lester Holt of NBC pointed out that Harris had never been to the border, which

00:07:34.600 she was in charge of, she famously replied, quote,

00:07:37.800 Progressive journalists have been working to wipe this moment from the nation's collective

00:07:51.360 memory, even as the vice president campaigns on taming a border she couldn't be bothered 0.99

00:07:56.540 to visit while in office.

00:07:58.940 Harris also promised to tackle inflation and housing costs, even though these problems were

00:08:04.240 critical issues that were left entirely unaddressed during Biden's term.

00:08:09.840 This strategy of running as a reform candidate from the position of incumbency can only be

00:08:15.040 deployed by a politician who expects slavish devotion from the entire mainstream press.

00:08:21.380 The mainstream media is shamelessly committed to defeating Trump and installing whoever the

00:08:27.160 Democrats put up against him.

00:08:28.820 If you state this fact to most conservatives, they'll agree.

00:08:33.000 But that truth doesn't appear to stop demoralization among many on the right.

00:08:38.520 There's no reason to buy into the narrative of a media who has lied to the public at every

00:08:43.980 opportunity in a cynical attempt to expand the power of the left.

00:08:48.460 This doesn't mean that the election should be taken lightly.

00:08:51.960 The regime will do anything it can to defeat Trump and install Harris.

00:08:55.520 But no one should buy into the media-manufactured hype.

00:09:00.460 The Harris makeover is an entirely artificial construct, and the facade will crack in short

00:09:07.600 order.
