00:00:29.320thanks for joining me this afternoon i've got a great stream with a great guest that i think
00:00:32.900you're really going to enjoy so the gop was already facing some pretty contentious midterms
00:00:38.720obviously the incumbent party is already in an uphill battle when it comes to midterm elections
00:00:43.480we know what's going on with the war in iran affordability epstein disclosures all kinds of
00:00:49.380things that were really making it difficult for the gop to connect with its base and get its most
00:00:54.580reliable voters to turn out. But there's good news because ultimately the GOP had made great
00:00:59.660gains in the last election under Trump with young white men. They actually started showing up. They
00:01:05.640started to become a dedicated voting base. It seemed like after the Democrats basically doing
00:01:10.700nothing but trashing young white men endlessly, you were starting to see even Hispanic young men
00:01:16.440start to come over to the GOP. And what an incredible boon that would have been in any
00:01:20.880given election, especially when you're struggling for turnout. Well, don't worry because conservatives
00:01:26.420have decided to rescue even that one advantage from the jaws of victory and return directly back
00:01:32.540to defeat because we are now seeing consistent attacks on young white men from establishment
00:01:38.340GOP figures. Now, it's not everyone in the GOP. It's like Donald Trump is going out and directly
00:01:43.600attacking white men, but we are seeing a shocking number of tone-deaf messaging from many people
00:01:49.080inside the GOP, including Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who has put out one of the most ridiculous ads
00:01:54.620I've ever seen. We're going to go over it in a second. Jay Burden, thank you so much for joining
00:01:58.300me. Yeah, Aaron, thank you so much for having me on. As much as I hate having this conversation,
00:02:04.260it seems like one of the lessons conservatives absolutely refuse to learn. We have to keep
00:02:09.420having it. This is sort of a rake the conservative movement is determined to keep stepping on.
00:02:14.780And so clearly this is an issue that, well, we need to teach them this lesson yet another time.
00:02:20.760Yeah. And again, I want to reiterate, there are clearly people in the Republican Party who get it. We'll actually go over some of the better messaging from some Republicans.
00:02:31.740But in general, it's clear that deep in the DNA of the conservative movement is this like just knee jerk reaction to the idea that white men would have any kind of issues, that there would ever be something facing them, that they might have some legitimate points about what is happening in the United States and how it needs to be corrected.
00:02:54.280and they always see these people as kind of the first target of any kind of messaging. It's okay
00:03:01.320to dump on these people. It's okay to tell these people and only these people that they are solely
00:03:06.940responsible for everything in the U.S. If there's anything going wrong, it's their fault. In many
00:03:12.520ways, it's almost inseparable from Democratic messaging on this issue. So I want to go ahead
00:04:14.900We want more people who are ultimately working, and we want to encourage people to, if they want to get any kind of assistance, that they have to actively be searching for jobs, these kind of things.
00:04:26.340Obviously, the issue involved here is Brad does not look like the average welfare recipient, not even close.
00:04:34.040White people are much less likely than other minorities except for Asians to be on any form of welfare.
00:04:41.660White men are even less likely. And young white men, I think it drops to something like 1.5% or 2% of the entire welfare system goes to men in Brad's demographic. So if you're going to choose literally anyone at all to portray this, obviously it would not be Brad.
00:05:00.620And yet Sarah Huckabee Sanders feels that this has to be the person that she portrays as a welfare queen.
00:05:07.920And not only that, when people pointed out the demographic realities and how ridiculous it was, she pretended to not understand the question.
00:05:15.220It was literally that, you know, millennial woes tweet of leftists pretend not to understand what's going on, thereby making discourse impossible.
00:05:22.060She doubled down and pretend like the only thing people were actually taking any kind of umbrage with was the policy itself.
00:05:30.120We saw the same thing from Joel Berry and the same clown car that drives through Twitter on a regular basis, right?
00:05:35.640It's, oh, well, I can't believe you guys are opposing welfare reform, as if that was the issue literally anyone on the right was pointing out with this ad.
00:05:45.760They are intentionally avoiding the issue because they're cowards.
00:05:49.020But it's incredible that even at this point, not only is the GOP portraying white men as welfare queens, it's like an ADT ad, right?
00:05:59.520It's like a security system ad where the robber is always a 35-year-old male model who's white.
00:06:06.380But ultimately, not only are they making that mistake, but even when it's pointed out to them, they act as if somehow white men are entitled.
00:06:15.140Like they have some kind of deep, weird fixation for noticing the fact that they are being made the villains for everything in the society, even by the people who theoretically are supposed to be their political party.
00:06:26.520who are supposed to be defending them, who they were rallying around as a new supportive base.
00:06:31.920Yeah, it's kind of a stupid example, but I think of something like Law & Order SVU,
00:06:36.800where on that show, you will see more white sex offenders than there have been in the history of
00:06:43.560America, right? It is sort of the default assumption. And we understand why. Many other
00:06:48.500groups have organized interest pressure groups, which exist to go after negative portrayals of
00:06:55.020that group. Look at the ADL, the NAACP, dozens of different versions of this. So on one level,
00:07:01.100you could just assume, oh, this was the safe choice, right? This is the way you can express
00:07:06.040this idea without making anyone get mad at me, which is sort of revealing in and of itself.
00:07:12.820But secondarily, this is an idea that many people actually do believe. They believe that young men,
00:07:18.900particularly young white men, are just stupid and lazy. They haven't figured out how to pull
00:07:24.060themselves up by their bootstraps. They're playing video games at home with mom while
00:07:28.160she makes them chicken tendons. And if they could just find a factory, walk in, shake
00:07:33.080the manager's hand, they too could be contributing members of society. As you've said, this is
00:07:38.760far from reality. Obviously, white men under 30 are quite literally the least welfare-using
00:07:45.900demographic in the nation. And okay, 1.5%, what could that be? Sure, are there people
00:07:52.900there defrauding the system, 100%, but also invalids get welfare. So we're at a point where
00:07:59.920it is so clearly not a problem that it was an active choice, right? It's not as if there was
00:08:05.640a dartboard with representative slices representing welfare fraud, and it just happened to land on
00:08:11.640breath, right? In a broader sense, this reflects an issue with the conservative movement where
00:08:17.600they are seemingly antagonizing young white guys for basically no reason. Look, the conservatives
00:08:24.540didn't win the young white male demographic as much as the Democrats lost it. That is much more
00:08:31.200what happened. And any policies that were seen to benefit my demographic were more incidental than
00:08:37.640they were desired end goals. For instance, you see this in job numbers. The vast majority of
00:08:44.380new jobs created have gone to, well, to be blunt, foreigners and women. This is a group of Americans
00:08:50.920who are hurting. And I know in my immediate peer group, the number of guys who are unemployed or
00:08:56.680underemployed is very high. You have guys who have marketable college degrees, the sort of
00:09:03.280things that you're supposed to do to buy your way into the middle or upper middle class who are
00:09:08.860working in food service. These aren't guys who are living with their parents. They're trying to
00:09:14.040make ends meet, but it's very, very difficult because of, well, certain policies about hiring
00:09:19.540and fire, right? We understand that. And in this discussion, one of the things that have come up
00:09:25.300is this sort of attitude of, well, we don't need them, right? We don't need the under 30 white
00:09:31.500male demographic because they're very small. The number I heard was about 4.9%, which is sort of
00:09:37.700worrying, right? If we're talking about the future of the nation, considering that is the demographic
00:09:41.940that i don't know built the nation and holds it together to this day but also conservatives love
00:09:49.760nothing more than to cater to ultra minority groups you may have seen the hindu jewish council
00:09:56.880recently had an event both hindus and jews are minorities smaller than young white men in
00:10:03.800america so seemingly the raw percentage isn't a determinant factor the old joke of course is
00:10:09.660what do you call a black guy at the RNC? Mr. Chairman. And okay, we can chuckle, we can guffaw
00:10:15.460about that, but it describes something very real. Fundamentally, the GOP, the conservative movement
00:10:20.840has no issue with identity politics. What they really want is to have the same sort of patronage
00:10:27.940relationship the Democrats do. They want to be a representative of all of these different disparate
00:10:34.260minority groups. And they will spite a group they currently have, a group that shows up for them,
00:10:40.340at the possible chance, at the whiff of getting a marginal percent more with some other group.
00:10:47.940And the deep irony of this is that when was the Republican Party most popular with these minority
00:10:53.740groups? Well, it's when they're trying the least. It's not winsome Earl Sears that wins you the
00:10:59.140black vote. It's figures like early Donald Trump. When was he most popular with young white men?
00:11:05.280The first hundred days. When was he plus two or 3% above water with young women?
00:11:14.180It was those first hundred days. It was when he was doing all the things that the traditional
00:11:18.720conservative thinkers were very upset about. And when he tacked more towards them, did they
00:11:23.900magically gain a plurality of minority votes no not only did they alienate their core demographic
00:11:30.540but they alienated those people they seem so desirous of court okay so this is a super important
00:11:36.500point i'm very glad you brought that up so to bolster it even further when was the gop most
00:11:42.440popular with young hispanic men when they were promising mass deportations people back a strong
00:11:49.880force people select the candidate that seems strong they don't select candidate that only
00:11:57.500says the things they want them to say they say the candidate they select candidate that ultimately
00:12:03.200seems like they have a real substantive plan that they have a direction they have a confidence
00:12:07.240leadership like these things drive actual adoption and so in their weak mewling like just
00:12:15.200catamite behavior towards minorities the GOP has made themselves as unappealing to those groups
00:12:22.300as possible and even if you wanted them as some kind of holy writ it's just not workable but you
00:12:27.820shouldn't want that either you know my friend Steve Dace not exactly a right-wing radical by most
00:12:32.940markers has you know always says you know this is the brothers be flipping strategy right like we
00:12:38.000were always pretending that we're one cycle away from winning the black vote when if we just won
00:12:43.340four percent more of the white vote you'd be unstoppable right like if four percent five
00:12:48.360percent of the white vote is way more valuable than any minority because despite the best explicit
00:12:52.800efforts of the left white people are still the majority in the united states so winning small
00:12:58.140incremental wins with the white uh vote is much better than getting any percentage of other
00:13:04.660minorities so even just electoral math wise it makes no sense now there's a couple factors at
00:13:10.060play here that are just fascinating one is obviously the reason that a lot of boomers and
00:13:18.400you know kind of containment right figures love this ad is it was meant for them right guys like
00:13:25.080joel berry james lindsey eric erickson hate young white men like they despise them they think that
00:13:30.780they are vile they think they're trash they want to see them like basically rubbed out of the
00:13:35.560movement you know guys like rod drear are constantly warning that there are these very dangerous you
00:13:40.280know young men entering into the movement we're going to talk about that more by the way in just
00:13:44.600a second and that they have to be purged from the movement like these people loathe loathe the idea
00:13:52.400of young white men actually doing anything and so they love this ad because there is this weird and
00:13:58.920deep obsession with just hating the next generation inside the conservative movement like you know
00:14:04.540We'll also get to your conservative Samson option, but there is really a clear desire to burn down the conservative movement rather than to hand it to the next generation that might have different priorities when it comes to conservatism might actually consider conserving something like there is a that that that kind of just like pathology is deeply seeded into all aspects of the conservative movement.
00:14:28.280but also there is this obvious as you say obsession with wanting to win minorities just as any other
00:14:36.620progressive group wants to and so you have this full embrace by the same people you know they
00:14:43.720tell you we don't want identity politics we oppose identity politics we're against identity politics
00:14:48.680of any kind and they say this as you say from from the pulpit of the you know the the hindu
00:14:56.520jewish uh council alliance meeting at mar-a-lago right like it's obvious that these people embrace
00:15:02.960and court explicit racial uh you know and ethnic lobbies inside the conservative movement they
00:15:10.000celebrate them they have special meetings for them they uh you know promote them at every turn
00:15:15.620because they love identity politics conservatives love identity politics and i don't just mean
00:15:21.980for israel i mean across the board they love identity politics they can't stop obsessing
00:15:27.180about them and we can see that right here here is kevin mccarthy a man who was once a big leader
00:15:33.500inside the uh inside the republican party here is him talking about why he's embarrassed about
00:15:40.940the way the republican party looks i look over at the democrats and they stand up they look like
00:15:45.740America. We stand up, we look like the most restrictive country club in America. And I
00:15:52.980decide then either I am going to be the leader of a declining end of a party, or I have to change
00:15:59.920the opportunity in this party. So I embrace in something else, okay? Since that time, we've
00:16:06.920elected the most women, Republicans, the most minority Republicans ever to the House. But to do
00:16:13.080so i'm gonna have to ruffle feathers so for republican woman or republican minority to win
00:16:18.780the november election is not their tough election it's the primary so what i do is i would engage in
00:16:25.340primaries and i so there you have it we're not hiding the ball here there is a explicit effort
00:16:33.800inside the gop to purge white men from the party we don't want men we don't want white people he
00:16:40.940said that very explicitly so i am going into primaries and i am specifically manipulating
00:16:46.780primaries to ensure that minority and female candidates are the ones that win like you cannot
00:16:54.180be more clear that is the goal of the gop what is the gop for it's for replacing white men with
00:17:02.820minorities and women i i don't know what else to tell you like this this is the mission of the
00:17:10.620party at this point. And so I think a lot of people who really don't want the Democrats to
00:17:17.120win genuinely do not want the left to be in charge. I know you're in a state that is currently
00:17:21.920undergoing a leftist revolution because Democrats came into power. So you of all people know the
00:17:27.160direct consequences of this. But when you have the GOP going out of the way to demoralize their
00:17:32.360core voting base at every turn, then I'm not, you know, obviously I'm never going to tell anyone
00:17:38.200vote for a democrat i'm going to tell them yeah go out there try to stop democrats from being in
00:17:42.180charge but i can't be surprised i'm not going to be shocked when people don't turn out for a party
00:17:48.400that is going out of its way to say yes we don't want you here you are below like trash to us and
00:17:54.840we really want to replace you with literally anyone else because we are embarrassed that you
00:17:58.660are our supporters like that would just never democrats you know a lot of people say well
00:18:03.480democrats would never vote for republicans to punish the party and that's true and it's why
00:18:07.520it's stupid for you to do so. But you know what else Democrats would never do? They would never
00:18:10.920go out and insult their core voter bases. They're not going to go out and insult young Black men
00:18:17.000right before an election. You'd never see Democrats do that. But that's exactly what
00:18:21.280Republicans are doing. It's insane. 100%. Look, I've been reliably informed by August
00:18:28.200thinkers on both the right and the left that, well, the Great Replacement is a conspiracy
00:18:32.720theory. Some sort of top-down directive to transform the demographics of this nation or
00:18:38.480its political structures is just crackpot tinfoil hat thinking. But then Republican leadership says
00:18:45.180it, and suddenly it's okay? Suddenly it's okay to put your thumb on the scale to distort demographics?
00:18:51.880I thought that's why we were voting for you guys, to stop that, wasn't it? Is that naive of me to
00:18:59.040assume that when you're talking about restricting immigration that that meant, I don't know,
00:19:02.720preserving some sort of demographic security? Well, apparently, apparently I was just stupid
00:19:07.820for doing that. And so much of this is packaged in this sort of condescending tone. Now that
00:19:14.320McCarthy clip, he's sort of speaking inside the club, so to speak. But if you look at what Huckabee
00:19:19.040Sanders said, if you looked at what figures like Rod Dreher, Eric Erickson, what they have said
00:19:23.480is they explicitly view these young men as a threat, more of a threat ostensibly than the
00:19:30.840woke left these guys made their bones screeching about. Then the woke left that just four or five
00:19:36.160years ago was apparently on the precipice of ending civilization. Now, I don't like the woke
00:19:41.240left. And because I don't like them, I think they're way bigger of a problem than young guys
00:19:47.640saying edgy things in a group chat. That idea flows. But these guys seemingly take more glee
00:19:55.080in doing their own sort of houseclean of purging, something that has happened in the conservative
00:20:00.560movement roughly every 10 years for longer than I've been alive. The circular firing squad where
00:20:06.420first we went after paleoconservatives, then we went after the alt-right. Now we're going after
00:20:11.780Groypers. It's the same thing over and over and over again. There's never this sort of vitriol
00:20:17.180towards liberal Republicans, towards Republicans who support gay marriage, towards Republicans who
00:20:22.640support demographically engineering the face of the party. That's a difference of opinion.
00:20:27.740that's entirely legitimate we have to agree to disagree we may even make instrumental arguments
00:20:33.940about well he's from massachusetts he has to say that but if you're to the right of them even an
00:20:39.720inch if you have different priorities different top line values about what the purpose of this
00:20:44.900nation is or who your political party ought to serve they'll throw you to the wolves in an instant
00:20:50.740they love doing it seemingly well and it's incredible because you know we hear constantly
00:20:58.080from these people that oh these guys who care about you know the demographics of the country
00:21:05.440who think that it matters if they get to pass the country on to their children who care whether
00:21:09.640we're building mosques and hindu temples in the middle of the town square these guys are just
00:21:14.940losers sitting at home you know eating the cheese balls you know on on welfare you know they've
00:21:20.740constructed even though you know the statistics show it's like one percent of people on welfare
00:21:25.520they have constructed this entire world where this is what all these people do but simultaneously as
00:21:32.020you say you have guys like eric erickson and rod drear running around sounding an alarm the
00:21:37.400gropers are coming the gropers are coming we have to purge them out of our institutions they're
00:21:41.420taking over the heritage foundation they're taking over claremont they're taking over your state gop
00:21:46.500so obviously again these guys are liars and losers like they know they're losing they know they're
00:21:53.120losing they know that anyone under 40 thinks they are at best a joke and at worst traitors to the
00:21:59.220country like they look at these people with just disgust right and so they know they've lost anyone
00:22:06.320under 40 when you talk to these you know when rob jared thinks says i think you know like 40 percent
00:22:11.700of the people watching in dc working young men are groipers he just means people who have opinions
00:22:17.120that aren't mine right like he doesn't actually think they're all watching nick fuentes he just
00:22:21.040believes anybody who says you know maybe we don't have to go for war to war with israel or you know
00:22:25.900for israel on you know on this one like all of a sudden you know they're obviously a griper but
00:22:31.800the amazing thing is that they have this cognitive dissonance where these people live in their
00:22:36.480parents' basements, but also they're conquering the entirety of the GOP and all of its institutions.
00:22:42.020So which one is it? And the obvious is like, actually, they're very scared of these people.
00:22:46.680And we can see an example here. So this came out just today. This guy, Paul Joseph Tingle,
00:22:53.380he worked in the Indiana Republican Party
00:22:58.780and apparently he was taking a picture
00:40:37.220Like, I just think you have to level with people that if you're trying to undo 40 years of bad policy, of globalization, of shipping American jobs overseas, it's going to take a little bit of time to fix that.
00:40:48.080Now, do I think we've made incredible progress? Absolutely.
00:40:51.320But I think we just have to be honest with people. Look, we're trying to fix what was broken over 40 years.
00:40:56.440Everything was not going to be fixed in 18 months, but you can't ignore people's concerns.
00:41:00.560And so, you know, on the one hand, you have the president talking about all the great building that's happening.
00:41:05.500And you have me sort of acknowledging that it's going to take a long time to rebuild the American middle class.
00:41:11.200And on the other hand, you have a few tone deaf Republicans who say, shut up if you're pissed off about a twenty two dollar Dorito.
00:41:17.840Well, my response to those people is no. Listen to people who are upset with the state of the economy.
00:41:24.140If we don't listen to people, we will turn into the very thing that we hate, the very thing that we ran against, the very thing.
00:41:31.680It's that simple, man. Like, I don't know why this is so hard.
00:41:34.520but yeah hey yeah we haven't fixed all the problems yet uh yes we haven't done enough
00:41:40.160but we have made these big gains and we think that they're worth pointing to and we hear your
00:41:44.920concerns we're going to continue to work on these things don't insult your voters don't insult the
00:41:50.060people who are supposed to turn out for you like i don't know like it's it's not that hard but for
00:41:55.440some reason jd van seems to be the only person out there just delivering the most basic and
00:42:01.260of reasonable messaging on this issue outside of a few guys like Brandon Gill or Eric Schmidt.
00:42:06.460Well, a hundred percent. And look, I think everything he said there is correct. I wouldn't
00:42:12.700necessarily consider that an endorsement of Vance per se. This is common sense stuff. This is block
00:42:19.440and tackle the sort of one, two combo of politics. It's not rocket science. This is a stunning
00:42:25.740indictment of the GOP. Because again, this isn't rocket science. This is simple stuff.
00:42:31.820And I think one thing we have to understand is that by virtue of the fact that you're listening
00:42:36.880to this, you are not a standard person. You're pretty far down the rabbit hole. You care about
00:42:42.580politics more than most. Most people are not ideological. Most people have a problem they
00:42:49.920want fixed. It's largely vibes-based. And you have seen the softening of sentiment towards
00:42:56.460things like socialism. Look at the career of Zorhan Mamdani, a guy who I don't think should
00:43:02.620be allowed in the country, but you know what? He is. He's the mayor of New York. And he's
00:43:06.900incredibly popular, more popular than when he was elected. And why is he popular? Because he's
00:43:12.440doing things that make sense on a balance sheet, because he's doing things that are particularly
00:43:16.900wise. No, not at all. In all likelihood, this will plunge New York city into sort of an eighties
00:43:22.960esque sort of crash, right? It's happened before. It seems likely to happen again,
00:43:27.460but that doesn't matter for him. He still gets to be in power, right? He still gets to be
00:43:33.360incredibly popular because he does things like, I don't know, have a free raffle for Broadway show
00:43:40.140tickets. Okay, is that a waste of taxpayer money? 100%. Is giving out free childcare one or two
00:43:47.120nights a year a waste of money? Yeah, probably. But for people, it feels as if they're actually
00:43:54.800getting something out of politics. Their concerns about the economy are being listened to. And if
00:44:00.460you look at Poland national level, New York Times did a really interesting piece talking about this
00:44:05.580rising populist tide in America on both the left and right, where they found out that issues like
00:44:11.400capping usury on credit cards or limiting the prices of consumer drugs were popular across
00:44:17.960the aisle. And look, what does that mean? Does that mean you have to be a democratic socialist
00:44:23.360to win in America? Not at all. It means that you have to be seen to be doing something. You have
00:44:29.400have seen to be answering people's problems. And Vance's point about the $22 burrito is completely
00:44:36.100and totally legitimate. Regardless of why things are very expensive, the reasoning, it's pretty
00:44:42.980clear. We know why things have gotten dramatically more expensive after, I don't know, the straight
00:44:47.180of whore moves closed. But regardless of why, the answer, you're stupid, you're dumb, you don't know
00:44:53.500how to cook is a really bad message, especially when you are trying to get someone to do something
00:45:00.140inconvenient on your behalf. Like voting for a lot of people is not something you're looking
00:45:05.480forward to doing. It's like, ah, shoot, I probably should. It's the right thing to do.
00:45:09.820You know, I don't want some bad thing to happen. But if it becomes, hey, you're stupid. You're an
00:45:15.020idiot. I hate you. Shut up. Also, hey, can you can you like take some time off work to fill out
00:45:19.960some paperwork for me like why do you think that's going to work well and it's incredible
00:45:24.820because yeah that's like the worst version of the messaging but even the mildest version of it has
00:45:29.080been bad so obviously and look i ultimately agree you can't let democrats get in power like they are
00:45:34.240a disaster that said the messaging i've seen is oh well i put a gas cost me an extra dollar i guess
00:45:41.380i'll just vote in communists i guess i'll just vote for the transing of the kids and first like
00:45:46.580that's so deeply disingenuous that it just turns people off but second when i hear that from people
00:45:52.580and i'm look i'm gonna go vote republican uh in in november but when i hear that from people
00:45:58.480honestly i immediately just want to say you know what screw you i'm not gonna go i'm not gonna go
00:46:03.820just because you are so vile towards me right like as if i have chosen socialism because you
00:46:09.820made an obvious stupid and disastrous mistake and it's hurting me personally right like as if as if
00:46:17.960you have failed them somehow in not being able to pay an extra two dollars per gas every single
00:46:25.220gallon because like ultimately you know that that's some great betrayal of the conservative
00:46:30.620movement because well you know we just had to make sure that israel had lebanon like this is
00:46:34.920is so personally insulting to people and so demoralizing and so now basically the republican
00:46:41.820voter is based with a humility is faced with a humiliation ritual right it could have been
00:46:46.660vance's messaging look we need more time this takes time we got to do more of this stuff again
00:46:51.280some people don't like jd vance that's fine my point is the messaging is correct right we have
00:46:56.800made uh we have made achievements we have covered ground we have improved things however we know
00:47:01.720it's not enough we need more time to do it please stick with us through this even if you don't agree
00:47:06.200with some of the decisions we made it's going to be better for you on the other side like that's
00:47:10.040the basic messaging it's going to be better for you is the most basic messaging of all politics
00:47:14.860and republicans refuse to do it they will only insult their voter they only say oh well you're
00:47:20.500not voting for two dollars more a gallon gas guess you're a communist guess you want to see your kids
00:47:25.420trans guess you want to see the entire country like this is just you're insulting your voters
00:47:30.860coming and going in every direction and then you're going to insult all the people who warned
00:47:35.120you about this you know whole thing being a disaster and try to get them purged from the
00:47:39.860party and again the messaging is really basic i'm just going to play these jd vance clips because
00:47:44.580again however you feel about jd vance imagine a vice president talking about anti-white discrimination
00:47:50.800five years ago much less 15 years ago somewhere peter brimelow is just like lost his mind because
00:47:57.960the literal vice president of the united states is saying anti-white discrimination when you would
00:48:02.700have been fired from any conservative institution 10 years ago for even mentioning something like
00:48:07.140who would just look at the way it's changed a whole lot um for a long time for the worse and
00:48:13.340now for the better is that we institutionalized anti-white anti-male discrimination in this
00:48:19.660country i mean if you just look at the way that we spoke about white men in the united states of
00:48:24.580america not me obviously not the president but like joe biden like it's actually amazing you
00:48:30.640did call him a bunch of hillbillies saying no i said i'm a hillbilly i'm proud of that man right
00:48:38.140and and yeah like the hillbillies are a part of the coalition but we're a proud part of the
00:48:42.160coalition i don't think we we don't we don't shy away from that term but look man you you
00:48:46.780institutionalized for a very long time a way of talking about our fellow americans that was
00:48:53.020totally disgusting and i was actually talking with a friend of mine about again really simple
00:48:58.600nothing profound like you said basic basic block and tackling when it comes to politics again you
00:49:05.060know same thing here with hb1 or h1b here's the thing about h1bs so you know like my belief on
00:49:11.420this is the h1b program has been totally taken advantage of not just by technology companies
00:49:16.880by accounting firms, by people who are basically defrauding the American worker.
00:49:22.080Like, if you want to say, oh, I'd like to bring a genius into the United States of America,
00:50:10.480And the thinking there was, if you're like just trying to replace an American accountant with a cheaper foreign accountant, then you're not going to pay $100,000.
00:50:19.660But the idea, in other words, was to protect, use that fee as a kind of gateway in order to ensure that people actually were using the program for what it was intended for.
00:50:29.820Like my view is the H-1B program is completely broken, and I'd be very supportive of just eliminating it.
00:50:36.440But while we have it, what we have to do is protect American workers.
01:00:51.520that's the place to go yep uncle tell you about uh the the uh wonders of diversity in the public
01:00:57.760school system it's a it's a wild ride actually i've found out that i'm an unc now too so i think
01:01:05.000we're both just united in uncood uh i i okay well then i'm grand unc i guess because i've got you
01:01:11.120i've still got you by like a good 12 or 15 years or something ridiculous but yeah uh i do appreciate
01:01:16.600that now the people who make me feel old feel old so you know that that that's a that's a real help
01:01:22.140thanks it comes for us all man it sure does all right bobby bob the nabob says enjoyed the oregon
01:01:29.920event or and you need to teach these kids about fine whiskey yeah i was i spoke at the uh wisconsin
01:01:36.140event uh for the old glory club that was a fantastic event i know there was also the one
01:01:40.700in oregon they invited me that one but i i couldn't make it out there's too much going on
01:01:44.120But I'm sure it was great. And as always, you know, drink better bourbon, you know, educate yourself. Very important. Let's see here. Graham Zwingle says the GOP has a happy wife, happy life, cuck energy. Man, is that true? Man, is that true?
01:02:00.240uh nikes says the regime uh tm there uh realizes that uh lindsey clancy fallout was a catastrophe
01:02:08.080a catastrophic look for feminism and the believe uh women movement so that's why you're hearing
01:02:14.980about the fake cornell controversy so i have not educated myself on this it's been on the timeline
01:02:21.460uh i from what i can tell there was basically the accusations of some kind of gang uh well i guess
01:02:29.100i'll be careful for youtube uh gang sexual violation uh and uh so uh i guess more information
01:02:37.560again i don't know anything about this i'm not making any definitive claims in either direction
01:02:41.980but apparently it came out that at least a large number of these partners were consensual
01:02:47.880uh and maybe one or two people had joined in once enough drugs had been consumed and that's what
01:02:52.880happened i don't know all of the details i do know that a lot of major conservative figures
01:02:57.180are dunking on it so i'm sure there's an episode out there where you can get caught off it i don't
01:03:00.620know jay do you do you have any more information on this than i do uh no uh somewhat deliberately
01:03:06.780uh this seems to be sort of mattress girl for a new era yeah none of the details but it's the
01:03:13.020same storyline run again uh now obviously i know nothing about the actual specific events
01:03:20.460so it is entirely possible that this woman is the victim of a crime in which case you know
01:03:25.580There are appropriate biblical punishments for sexual crimes. But that being said, given who is reporting this and the tone they're reporting it in, I think like you are and I am skeptical and largely uninterested.
01:03:42.020well this is also a perfect october surprise to try to get you know young women on side with the
01:03:49.960democrats right make sure that they turn out yeah don't worry the the evil republicans are out there
01:03:54.500making sure you're going to get sexually assaulted on college campuses again uh that the timing is an
01:03:59.140interesting one but yeah we are in a scenario where uh you know canceling people for okay
01:04:03.720hand signs and mattress girl like what year is this you know robin williams meme time is a flat
01:04:09.240circle right exactly right we have to we have to recycle all of our uh you know uh 2009 uh events
01:04:17.340here uh jacob zindel says uh should the right push to abolish the war powers act so the president
01:04:24.920can no longer unilaterally start wars i mean right after we get done with repealing the 17th and 19th
01:04:31.960amendment i guess like i hear you yeah like that makes perfect sense uh we should return the the
01:04:37.600right to declare war back to congress if we care at all about actual constitutional conservatism
01:04:43.880but of course we don't that's why you're never going to hear again you know the joel barry's
01:04:48.360or the eric erickson's or james lindsey's talk about the importance of repealing the war hours
01:04:52.880act because they don't give a crap about the constitution doesn't mean anything to them
01:04:56.200and so yeah that is the war powers act uh ultimately uh you know a scenario that makes
01:05:01.280it far too easy to go to war and therefore is easily abused sure but we haven't declared war
01:05:06.080since world war ii the political visibility of this is far below something like passing the
01:05:10.840save act and we can't pass it so in principle yes i agree that that should happen in practice
01:05:15.660you know there's zero chance that we have much more important things to spend our political capital
01:05:20.400on bram zwingle says uh i'm just tired of taking it on the chin we all are man again you know this
01:05:28.420is why i'm not doing the sit down and shut up because we have to elect people routine again
01:05:33.360totally oppose democrats totally think they have to be you know driven from power uh but i'm not
01:05:40.080going to tell people to keep going through humiliation rituals for people who hate them
01:05:43.220uh i'm sorry like just because you happen to have an r next to your name while you hate me
01:05:47.140doesn't mean that ultimately you're on my team uh and so if you're going to run out and tell
01:05:51.620people constantly well sorry but you just have to take it because the republicans have to win
01:05:55.640this one again that's why they elected trump people elected trump so they didn't have to do
01:05:59.960this anymore so we didn't have to deal with the anti-white stuff so we didn't have to deal with
01:06:03.420the anti-men stuff so we didn't have to deal with anti-christian stuff that's why they voted for
01:06:09.540trump so you can't tell them now you have to vote for people who believe in all of that stuff who
01:06:14.100believe in the anti-whiteism who believe in hating on young men who believe that you know it's okay
01:06:19.240to have a literal pagan in office while calling christian fathers pagan because they disagree
01:06:24.940with you on immigration policy like that people are just not going to believe that anymore and
01:06:30.260i'm not i i i'm not going to rob people of their dignity by continuing to lie to people about stuff
01:06:35.060like that it's just insane sean wyland said a great episode with a great guest ah the beaver
01:06:41.040gang has yet again arrived to support mr burden latrina bidet with uh the best uh screen name in
01:06:51.220all of commenting says uh question if you had been uh if you had been cucked or in your entire life
01:06:56.820by nothing by do nothing via gop controlled opposition psyop would you realize it i mean
01:07:03.620obviously this is why many people say the republican party has to be destroyed now when
01:07:07.620that gets said obviously we're not going to actually destroy the republican party it's going
01:07:11.780to be a vehicle for a different type of politics uh but it's very clear that the act the republican
01:07:16.900party as it exists uh is just not fit for purpose and the vast majority of it has to be replaced
01:07:22.660with true patriots which is exactly what you should be doing you should be organizing if
01:07:26.900you're sitting around saying what can i do what does it matter uh join local chapters of
01:07:30.820organizations like exit or the you know the ogc get out there organize uh get involved in your
01:07:36.940republican party take it over find like-minded people put them in positions of power be the
01:07:42.300organized majority that takes over the unorganized majority. You can do it.
01:07:48.640Base Tellability says, I like J.D. Vance. He represents me. Yep. Again, I know there are a
01:07:53.500lot of people skeptical J.D. Vance. That's fine. I'm not asking anybody to pledge their,
01:07:57.100you know, their, their sacred honors here, but I do think J.D. Vance is a great candidate. I do
01:08:01.220think that he messages in a way that other people don't, even if it seems kind of basic,
01:08:05.160the fact that he and very few others are willing to engage in even the most basic
01:08:09.380competent messaging does matter and then sinestro 29 says it's interesting and worrying that it
01:08:16.020seems like there's a significant amount of white people that seem to hate their own regardless of
01:08:20.260their politics well it's literally our national religion so a lot of people think they're being
01:08:24.440good people by being anti-white there's really no other way to you know escape that fact uh they've
01:08:30.400been told that anti-white uh discrimination is what it is to be moral and so they are more than
01:08:35.620willing to hurt and injure people who they should be protecting because ultimately they feel like
01:08:41.000that makes them a better person than you they even some people even think that makes them a
01:08:44.240better christian uh which is insane and and you know exactly against uh christianity but many
01:08:50.300many people including you know people who you probably think otherwise are great have convinced
01:08:54.680themselves that that is the real situation and we just we have to fight it at every corner and
01:08:58.860that's again why you can't be silent about this stuff i don't care what anybody tells you you
01:09:02.640cannot shut up about this you cannot sit on it and pretend like oh it'll just get better after
01:09:07.080midterms or something you have to you have to oppose this stuff and you have to oppose it
01:09:10.600forcefully and i think the fact that guys like jd vance recognize this means that hey you can
01:09:15.320be loyal to the administration and still point out anti-white discrimination and its deleterious
01:09:20.340effects on people in general and specifically the actions of the republican party all right guys
01:09:26.660we're going to go ahead and wrap this up once again mr burton thank you for coming on everybody
