00:00:34.000 Chris Pratt, of course, is a practicing Christian.
00:00:36.000 He is now married to Catherine Schwarzenegger, he has three children with her.
00:00:41.000 And Anna Ferris apparently was confronted by her son who was talking to her about Jesus.
00:00:46.000 And here's what she said I think my son is he's like as solid as a tugboat emotionally, he just doesn't get easily jarred.

00:01:11.000 No, I didn't grow up with religion.

00:01:14.000 He's asked me to accept Jesus Christ as your savior.

00:01:22.000 And I said, I told him that I would do anything for him, including this, but it's going to take a whole lot of long conversations.

00:01:41.000 Because I try to challenge him.
00:01:43.000 I'm like, do you think it's a luxury that you get to be pro life?
00:01:47.000 Do you think that's kind of a luxury?
00:01:50.000 He's like, maybe.
00:01:51.000 Okay, so a few things about this that are fascinating.
00:01:57.000 First of all, you know, good for her for having deep conversations with her kid, I suppose.
00:02:01.000 It goes to show you, and I've said this many, many, many times, that when you get married to somebody, the first thing that you should be thinking is, how do we want to raise our kids?
00:02:08.000 What values do we want to raise our kids with?
00:02:11.000 And again, it doesn't mean that it's everybody's fault when a divorce happens, you might be aligned at one point and then people change.
00:02:17.000 That sort of stuff happens, obviously.
00:02:20.000 But one thing I know that there's complete solidarity with me and my wife.
00:02:24.000 I mean, we're in solidarity on pretty much everything in our life, but on this in particular, we're in dramatic solidarity, which is how we wish to raise our children.
00:02:31.000 This is why when I give young people advice about dating, I always say date for values because you don't want a situation in which one day you've brought your kids up with a religion and then one of the parents comes in and tries to undermine that.

00:02:44.000 That's a huge problem.
00:02:45.000 It matters who you marry.
00:02:48.000 I know this is falling out of passion.
00:02:49.000 You're supposed to just marry the person that you fall in love with.
00:02:52.000 But here's the thing set the preconditions before you fall in love with somebody.
00:02:55.000 I know this is not the way the movies tell you to do it.
00:02:57.000 I know you think that you're just going to walk down the street and you're going to be hit by the love bug and then you're just in love with the person.
00:03:02.000 And now you pick them with all their flaws and all their ideological foibles and all of your values different.

00:03:07.000 Set the guidelines at the very beginning and you will end up with somebody who agrees with you on how to raise the kids, which After all, is the entire purpose of marriage.
00:03:15.000 It is the entire purpose of the institution.
00:03:17.000 Sure, it's great that two people love each other and live with each other.
00:03:19.000 Sure, that's wonderful.
00:03:20.000 But the purpose of marriage is the production and rearing of children.
00:03:25.000 And how you create those children and rear them is the whole issue.
00:03:28.000 So, again, girls, boys, check your values before you decide who to date.

00:03:35.000 First, technology has made pretty much all of our wants and desires instant.

00:03:44.000 There's some decisions, however, That should not be made before you've had a chance to stop and see clearly and talk to somebody.

00:05:03.000 And you wish the best for everybody involved, but that makes it significantly more difficult, obviously.
00:05:08.000 Now, meanwhile, speaking of broken families, I could not imagine being a child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

00:05:15.000 Just, I mean, honestly, I feel terrible for Northwest.
00:05:19.000 So, Northwest is, I believe, 13 years old.
00:05:22.000 And she is now on the cover of Dazed Magazine.
00:05:27.000 First of all, no 13 year old should ever be on the cover of any magazine, ever, for any reason at all.
00:05:33.000 There is no reason why that should happen.
00:05:36.000 Kids should be kept away from media.
00:05:38.000 Media should be kept away from kids.
00:05:39.000 It should be that simple.
00:05:40.000 It is a manifestation of bad parenting to have your kids in public.
00:05:45.000 Your kids should not be in the public eye.
00:05:49.000 I'm extraordinarily guarded about my own children.
00:05:52.000 Like, really, really guarded, which is why even when I tell stories on the air about my kids, you know, I tend to do it kind of rarely.

00:06:00.000 Speaking of which, I have to just say quick errata because I was told this by my niece.
00:06:04.000 A few days ago, I talked about a story at a water park.

00:06:09.000 And we, we talked about, uh, you know, a, uh, a young black kid who came up and started being insulting to my daughter and my niece.
00:06:16.000 And I had suggested that my daughter responded to him.
00:06:18.000 He, he had suggested that she was being mean to him because he was black.
00:06:21.000 The, the truth is he was trying to cut the line and use that as an excuse.
00:06:24.000 He had said, you're doing this because I'm black.
00:06:25.000 And she said, no.
00:06:26.000 And he said, well, you think I'm stupid because I'm black.
00:06:28.000 And then I had said that my daughter said, no, I think you're stupid because your, your grammar is bad.
00:06:32.000 I was wrong and I was informed by my niece that I had to correct the record.
00:06:35.000 So this counts as a correction on the record in front of millions of people.
00:06:38.000 It was my niece who said, no, you're stupid because your grammar is bad.
00:06:43.000 So, apologies to my niece.
00:06:46.000 The correction is in any case, putting the children aside.
00:06:48.000 This is a disaster area.
00:06:51.000 Northwest looks, I mean, she's a 13 year old girl and she's with blue teeth and piercings everywhere.
00:06:55.000 Like, what are you doing?

00:06:59.000 Listen, I understand that I'm asking a lot for Kim Kardashian to try to be normal as a mother.

00:07:07.000 And why don't you take your parental responsibilities a little more seriously?
00:07:10.000 I understand that, like, you're dating half of Hollywood at any given time.
00:07:15.000 And that can't be great for your daughter.
00:07:17.000 And the same thing is true for dad, who's like running around doing random things all the time.
00:07:22.000 There is a kid involved here, and this is quite bad.
00:07:24.000 And by the way, for everyone, live life as though your kids one day will be able to use the internet.
00:07:29.000 Because can you imagine Northwest at some point just Googling mommy and finding videos of rage?
00:07:35.000 Like, this is why, folks, try to be careful with your life from the youngest possible age.

00:07:40.000 I know it's not a sexy message to be responsible.

00:07:43.000 But I promise you, your life is going to be so much happier.
00:07:45.000 Your life is going to be so much better.
00:07:46.000 And your kids, Are gonna be so much healthier and so much better because of all that.
