On Thursday, President Trump spoke in Poland where he laid forth his plans for NATO s Article 5 common defense. He also stated his support for missile defense in Poland against Russia. This should have been a ringing rebuke to the American media, who have declared Trump a Putin shill for nearly a year. Instead, the media decided to focus on the fact that Trump received warm praise from the Polish people. CNN's actual headline said, "Trump showered in Polish praise, backs NATO's Article 5. It's difficult to recall CNN running a similar headline during President Obama's magical, mystery European tours." The media also went nuts over Trump ripping CNN while overseas. But the real story is that Trump forcefully chided his supposed conspirators in election hacking. That he s talking about setting up a missile defense system to defend against them. And that he took material steps to check their territorial ambitions in Ukraine and Syria. The media ignores all of that because they are more interested in getting President Trump, even over stupid issues. Ben Shapiro breaks it all down and explains why this is a good thing.
