Summary

Time Magazine interviews Vice President Joe Biden and asks him questions about a variety of topics, and Biden falls apart in nearly every one of them. It's no surprise that he doesn't remember much of it, since he's been in office for a quarter of a century, and yet, he still can't seem to remember most of it. And it's not just that he can't remember some things, it's that he's not even able to remember some of the things that he says, and that's what makes him so hard to remember, which is why it's so important that we don't even bother to listen to the whole thing, because it's going to make him forget the rest. This episode is brought to you by the Daily Caller and edited by Annie-Rose Strasser. 00:00:00.000 So, our President of the United States, unfortunately, is a yam.
00:00:05.000 Or a squash.
00:00:06.000 Or some other sort of vegetable, because he is no longer sentient.
00:00:10.000 I say this after long consideration, and after reading a very long interview that he did with Time Magazine.
00:00:16.000 He's on the cover of Time, which is basically a defunct magazine at this point.
00:00:21.000 He's on the cover, gazing out stonily.
00:00:24.000 On the cover, black and white, with the headline, If He Wins.
00:00:27.000 Sir standing over the Resolute Desk, staring into camera.
00:00:30.000 And Time Magazine is doing its best to try and massage him through this campaign.
00:00:34.000 They say, quote, In the time we spent with the President, he remembered long-ago encounters with historic figures ranging from Pope John Paul II to Henry Kissinger.
00:00:41.000 He recalled the words of historian John Meacham, who told Biden after the President entered the Oval Office on Inauguration Day that the country had not been as divided since the days of Lincoln, nor the future of its democracy as challenged.
00:00:51.000 Since those of FDR, the overall impression Biden left us with is one of a man in conversation with history, both the country's and his own.
00:00:59.000 Well, actually, when you read the interview, what you come away with is a president who's in conversation with the walls.
00:01:06.000 Perhaps with his gruel.
00:01:08.000 And that's not just because he's got all the wrong principle.
00:01:10.000 It's not just because he has effectively set America's foreign policy on fire, while also lighting the jet fuel under the inflationary economy that Americans have been suffering through.
00:01:21.000 No, it's also because when you read the interview, and again, it's a transcript of an interview, Time did not release the tape.
00:01:26.000 He is verbally what he is physically when he attempts to climb up a flight of stairs into Air Force One.
00:01:31.000 This matters because the rest of the world can see it.
00:01:34.000 So I'm going to go through in detail some of the things that he says in this Time Magazine interview.
00:01:38.000 Because we have been told by all of his allies that he is sharp as a tack.
00:01:41.000 That he is razor sharp.
00:01:43.000 That this man, he's the most with it president we've ever had.
00:01:47.000 That in meetings, he is just quizzing people fast.
00:01:51.000 Asking them about events.
00:01:53.000 Asking them about times and places.
00:01:55.000 That he is so with it, according to his aides, that they cannot keep up with this geriatric dotard.
00:02:01.000 Well, that's not the impression you get from this interview.
00:02:02.000 So he goes through a bunch of different topics in this extraordinarily long interview.
00:02:06.000 And he falls apart in nearly every answer.
00:02:09.000 The interview begins with him discussing American foreign policy.
00:02:13.000 He says, and again, this is a direct quotation, we are, we are the world power.
00:02:18.000 And what I inherited as a consequence of the mistake that we made in Afghanistan is a,
00:02:23.000 was not a loss in Afghanistan, excuse my cold.
00:02:25.000 I've always believed there are two elements to American security.
00:02:29.000 And the biggest element and, and our normative example is our alliances.
00:02:33.000 Our alliances.
00:02:34.000 We are, we have, compared to the rest of the world, we have put together the strongest alliance in the history of the world, number one.
00:02:40.000 Number two, we're in a situation where we're able to move in a way that recognizes how much the world has changed and still lead the world, and it's our security.
00:02:47.000 For example, the idea that if, when Putin decided to go into Russia, I mean, he's gonna go from Russia into Ukraine.
00:02:53.000 The reason why I cleared the intelligence so we can release the information we knew that he was going to attack was to let the world know we were still in charge.
00:03:01.000 Now, if you can follow that as an answer...
00:03:04.000 You win $100.
00:03:06.000 Because that is absolutely nonsensical.
00:03:08.000 In the course of one paragraph, he falls all over himself.
00:03:13.000 He suggests that we did not lose in Afghanistan.
00:03:16.000 He suggests we have the strongest alliance in the history of the world.
00:03:19.000 The history of the world!
00:03:20.000 Not like World War II.
00:03:22.000 The alliance to take on Russia and Ukraine.
00:03:25.000 And he says, in the middle of this, that Putin decided to go into Russia.
00:03:30.000 Then he pats himself on the back for his activity in Ukraine.
00:03:32.000 Quote, I did it.
00:03:33.000 I did it.
00:03:34.000 And we're now the strongest nation.
00:03:36.000 We have the strongest alliance in all of America, all of history.
00:03:39.000 The strongest alliance in all of America, guys.
00:03:42.000 More than all the other alliances in America.
00:03:43.000 Again, these are just direct quotations.
00:03:47.000 In the meantime, what we keep skipping over is what the consequence of the success of Russia and Ukraine would be.
00:03:51.000 That's why I brought this along.
00:03:53.000 You probably haven't read it.
00:03:54.000 Most people haven't read it.
00:03:55.000 He says this is part of re-establishing the Soviet Union.
00:03:57.000 That's what this is all about.
00:03:58.000 It wasn't just about taking part of.
00:04:00.000 He wanted.
00:04:01.000 He wanted to go back to the days when there was NATO and there was that other outfit that Poland, everybody belonged to.
00:04:07.000 There was that other outfit that Poland, everybody belonged to?
00:04:10.000 Is it like a hockey team or does he mean the Warsaw Pact?
00:04:15.000 Again, like the fact that the President of the United States is old enough to actually remember in detail the Warsaw Pact but cannot remember what it is called is not a good sign for his mentality going into an election where, if elected, he will finish office being 86 years old.
00:04:32.000 He says, peace looks like making sure Russia never, never, never, never occupies Ukraine.
00:04:36.000 That's what peace looks like.
00:04:38.000 And it doesn't mean NATO.
00:04:39.000 They're part of NATO.
00:04:40.000 It means we have a relationship with them, like we do with other countries, where we supply weapons.
00:04:43.000 They can defend themselves in the future.
00:04:45.000 But it is not, if you notice, I was the one when, and you guys did report it at time, the one that I was saying that I am not prepared to support the NATOization of Ukraine.
00:04:53.000 And he's not even speaking English.
00:04:56.000 He's not even speaking English.
00:04:59.000 So forget about the bad policy, forget about the fact that he slow-walked aid to Ukraine, that only in the last week or so has he decided that, hey, maybe if we are going to ally ourselves with Ukraine, sufficient to push the Russians back, to lead to some sort of negotiation, perhaps we might want to supply them the weaponry to hit bases in Russia that are being used to target Ukraine.
00:05:16.000 That's been happening in the last two weeks, after two years of war.
00:05:21.000 It's not just that he's wrong about everything.
00:05:22.000 Again, he is no longer with us.
00:05:24.000 We'll get to more on this in just a moment.

00:06:24.000 That's puretalk.com slash Shapiro today.
00:06:27.000 Then he gets to Israel.
00:06:28.000 And in Israel, he's totally discombobulated.
00:06:30.000 Discombobulated because the moral math here is extremely clear.
00:06:35.000 And Joe Biden is having a real tough time with this one.
00:06:37.000 He's having a real tough time with just supplying Israel with what it needs to finish off... or even allowing Israel to finish off... in the south so that they can turn north and push... back.
00:06:47.000 Of course, it's up to its game.
00:06:49.000 Over the course of the last few months, they set a lot of northern Israel on fire over the course of the last 72 hours.
00:06:53.000 Israel was able to put out those fires, but things are quickly escalating in the north of Israel as well.
00:06:58.000 Israel's also under attack from the Houthis in Yemen.
00:07:00.000 They're under attack from bases in Iraq, in Syria.
00:07:03.000 They're under direct attack from Iran.
00:07:05.000 They're under attack on seven different fronts minimum.
00:07:08.000 And so, of course, Joe Biden is wildly confused.
00:07:10.000 He believes that the real threat is, of course, wait for it, wait for it, the Israeli government.
00:07:14.000 So, the Time Magazine interviewer says, Now, the reality is that Israel did not cross Biden's supposed red line in Rafa.
00:07:28.000 And let's be straight about this.
00:07:29.000 Crossing red lines of Joe Biden's basically has no consequence.
00:07:33.000 You'll recall that Joe Biden said that there was a red line in Iran attacking Israel.
00:07:36.000 And Iran did it, and not much happened.
00:07:38.000 You'll recall that Barack Obama once said there was a red line in Syria and then Syria used chemical weapons.
00:07:43.000 He did nothing.
00:07:44.000 It turns out crossing Democratic red lines basically has no consequences.
00:07:47.000 So Biden says this, and again, it is not merely that he is wrong.
00:07:52.000 It is that His brains are scrambled eggs.
00:07:55.000 Quote.
00:07:55.000 I'm not going to speak to that now because you're going to report this before I make.
00:07:58.000 Before... I'm in the process of talking with the Israelis right now, so I'm not going to.
00:08:02.000 If I tell you, you'll write it.
00:08:03.000 It's not the time for you to write it.
00:08:04.000 I have not spoken with Bibi since... I have not spoken with Bibi since the attack on Sunday.
00:08:08.000 Was it Sunday?
00:08:09.000 I'm not going to respond to that because I'm about to make a... anyway.
00:08:14.000 The sentence finishes with the word anyway.
00:08:17.000 Now you might think to yourself, that's not a complete sentence.
00:08:20.000 You would be right.
00:08:21.000 But don't worry, there's more.
00:08:23.000 Quote, is the interviewer.
00:08:25.000 Whose fault is it that the deal, the ceasefire for hostages, has not been consummated?
00:08:29.000 Is it or Israel or both?
00:08:31.000 And Biden correctly says could end this tomorrow.
00:08:34.000 Could say unintelligible.
00:08:36.000 That's the editor putting that in there.
00:08:39.000 And done, period.
00:08:40.000 And, but, and the last offer Israel made was very generous in terms of who they'd be willing to release, what they'd give in return, etc.
00:08:45.000 Bibi is under enormous pressure on the hostages, on the hostages, and so he's prepared to do about anything to get the hostages back.
00:08:51.000 When I went over immediately after the brutal attack, I said then, and it became public, I said, don't make the same mistake we did going after Bin Laden.
00:08:58.000 Don't try.
00:08:59.000 The idea of occupying Afghanistan, the idea you had nuclear arsenals in Iran that were being, I mean, in Iraq, that were being generated, simply not true.
00:09:07.000 So he's already, in this sentence, mixed up Iraq and Iran.
00:09:11.000 He says, it led to endless wars.
00:09:12.000 They were not true.
00:09:13.000 Don't make the mistakes we made.
00:09:14.000 And they're making that mistake, I think.
00:09:16.000 Excuse my voice.
00:09:17.000 I apologize.
00:09:19.000 Is any of this quieting?
00:09:20.000 Does any of this feel really solid?
00:09:22.000 Like the rest of the world's gonna be really scared of this guy?
00:09:25.000 I'll also point out here that Joe Biden warning the Israelis not to take on in the same way the United States took on Osama bin Laden.
00:09:32.000 Oh, you mean when Osama bin Laden killed 3,000 American citizens so he took down two countries, full countries, and occupied them for 20 years like that?
00:09:41.000 I'll also note Afghanistan is all the way across the world, super far away from the United States.
00:09:47.000 Gaza is literally on the border of Israel.
00:09:50.000 They literally just walked across a border.
00:09:53.000 Walked across it.
00:09:54.000 Okay then, Biden went ahead and undermined Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, some more.
00:10:01.000 So according to the interviewer says, some in Israel have suggested that Netanyahu is prolonging the war for his own political self-preservation.
00:10:09.000 Do you believe that?
00:10:09.000 Now the real answer here is of course not.
00:10:11.000 The only person who's prolonging the war for political self-preservation is Joe Biden.
00:10:15.000 If the Israelis had their way, they would have gone into Rafah in February and March.
00:10:18.000 Instead, they've been sitting around and slowly bleeding themselves into Rafah at the expense of their own soldiers, giving their enemies plenty of time to plant IEDs and closets and such.
00:10:30.000 But Biden says, I'm not going to comment on that.
00:10:32.000 There's every reason for people to draw that conclusion.
00:10:34.000 And I would cite that as before the war began, the blowback he was getting from the Israeli military for wanting to change the constitute, change the court.
00:10:43.000 And so it's an internal domestic debate that seems to have no consequence.
00:10:46.000 And whether he would change his position or not, it's hard to say, but it has not been helpful.
00:10:49.000 That's why there's got to be.
00:10:50.000 My major disagreement with Netanyahu is, what happens after?
00:10:53.000 What happens after Gaza's over?
00:10:55.000 What does it go back to?
00:10:57.000 Do Israeli forces go back in?
00:10:59.000 I've been talking to the Egyptians, I've been talking to the Saudis, I've been talking to the Jordanians, I've been talking to the Emiratis.
00:11:04.000 The answer is, if that's the case, it can't work.
00:11:05.000 There needs to be a two-state, a transition to a two-state solution, and that's my biggest disagreement with Bibi Netanyahu.
00:11:11.000 Well, glad you cleared that one up, Joe.
00:11:13.000 Really appreciate it.
00:11:14.000 Okay, and again, this interview goes on and on.
00:11:18.000 At one point, he literally mixes up Russia and China.
00:11:21.000 There's an actual editor's note in the middle of the piece.
00:11:24.000 Quote, editor's note, Biden appeared to mean Xi here, not Putin.
00:11:29.000 When he's discussing economics, absolute nonsense, gobbledygook, just mind trash.
00:11:35.000 So he's asked about tariffs that he's placing on China.
00:11:38.000 The interviewer says, most economists say tariffs raise prices.
00:11:41.000 And Biden says, they do.
00:11:43.000 The interviewer says cumulative inflation means that prices are up 18%, at least since you took office, and wage increases have not kept pace.
00:11:49.000 And Biden says, since who took office?
00:11:51.000 Since I took office?
00:11:53.000 Well, I guess, Joe.
00:11:55.000 The interviewer says, yeah, cumulative inflation means prices are up nearly 20% since you took office, and wage increases have not kept pace.
00:12:01.000 So Biden starts lying.
00:12:02.000 Wage increases have exceeded what the cost of inflation, which you're talking about, is the same prices that were pre-COVID prices.
00:12:07.000 Pre-COVID prices are not the same, as whether or not they.
00:12:10.000 You have American, corporate America, ripping off the public now.
00:12:12.000 You have everything from shrinkflation to what's going on in terms of the way in which they're artificially moving significantly to increase their, their, their, their, their, their profits.
00:12:22.000 That is a direct quote.
00:12:24.000 In which they are artificially moving significantly to increase their, their, their, their, their profits.
00:12:30.000 That's not the same as inflation.
00:12:32.000 That's price gouging.
00:12:34.000 And then the interviewer tries to clarify, Mr. President, won't your newly announced tariffs raise the prices on American consumers?
00:12:39.000 And he says, no, because here's the deal.
00:12:41.000 There's a difference.
00:12:42.000 I made it clear to Putin from the very beginning that I'm not, we're not engaging in, for example, Trump wants a 10% tariff on everything.
00:12:49.000 That will raise the price of everything in America.
00:12:52.000 Again, do you feel quieted by all of this?
00:12:54.000 Do you feel as though the country is in the best of hands?
00:12:57.000 Let's mower on this in just a moment.

00:14:03.000 So the interviewer asked, quote, you are 81 years old and would be 86 by the time you
00:14:07.000 left office.
00:14:08.000 Large majorities of Americans, including in the Democratic Party, tell pollsters they think you're too old to lead.
00:14:12.000 Could you really do this job as an 85-year-old man?
00:14:15.000 And here is Joe Biden, quote, I can do it better than anybody you know.
00:14:20.000 You're looking at me.
00:14:21.000 I can take you too.
00:14:23.000 He's literally threatening to fight the interviewer.
00:14:27.000 Now, let's be clear about this.
00:14:29.000 Joe Biden could not successfully fight a day-old head of cabbage.
00:14:35.000 Not only would it disrupt his digestive system, leading to more cleanup on aisle 5 from his night nurse, but he literally physically could not fight an inanimate object.
00:14:45.000 He routinely loses to them from teleprompters to staircases.
00:14:49.000 But he's threatening to fight people.
00:14:51.000 He also mixes up Taiwan and South Korea.
00:14:54.000 He goes on to insult Viktor Orban, the leader of Hungary.
00:15:00.000 He then finally suggests at the very end that if he loses, it's because China intervened in the election.
00:15:07.000 He suggests, quote, everybody, all the bad guys are rooting for Trump, man.
00:15:11.000 Not a joke.
00:15:12.000 Think about it.
00:15:13.000 Think about it.
00:15:14.000 Well, I mean, we're all thinking about it, Joe, and it turns out that no one is quieted by your presidency.
00:15:20.000 No one thinks you are doing a good job.
00:15:22.000 Joe Biden's horrific presidency has led to widespread discontent in a nation he said he would unify.
00:15:28.000 Everyone is feeling, by the polling data, very nervous about the economy.
00:15:32.000 Everybody is paying too much at the pump.
00:15:34.000 Everybody is paying too much at the grocery store.
00:15:36.000 Everybody is paying too much at restaurants.
00:15:38.000 Everybody is paying too much for rent.
00:15:40.000 The social fabric is being completely destroyed by a president who believes that equity needs to be the keystone of all of his executive policies.
00:15:49.000 And on foreign policy, China has been on the march.
00:15:51.000 Russia literally marched into Ukraine, leading to an extraordinarily bloody war that has now lasted two full years.
00:15:57.000 Israel was attacked by Joe Biden's first move after saying a few requisite Words of comfort for the Israelis was to immediately swivel and attempt to stop the Israelis from doing what they must do in order to ensure their own security instead, pressuring them to make concessions to terrorist groups.
00:16:15.000 This is the guy that Democrats believe needs to be president of the United States?
00:16:21.000 I've been saying since the beginning of this election cycle, if this election is a referendum on Donald Trump, he's got a problem.
00:16:26.000 If this election is a referendum on the incumbent, on Joe Biden, Joe Biden cannot win.
00:16:31.000 He is not a good president.
00:16:34.000 End of story.
00:16:35.000 And unlike Barack Obama, who was able to overcome his wild and terrible political incompetence in office by the fact that he was an amazing campaigner, that he was a community organizer, but not very good at, you know, pulling the levers of government in effective ways.
00:16:49.000 That he quite alienated all the legislators that he needed in order to do things and took radical positions.
00:16:54.000 Barack Obama was a once-in-a-generation political talent.
00:16:58.000 Bill Clinton, for his part, was both incredibly politically talented and also a really good campaigner.
00:17:04.000 Joe Biden is neither of these things.
00:17:06.000 He is horrible at both.
00:17:08.000 He makes terrible policy and he can't even speak English anymore.
00:17:15.000 Joe Biden, if he is not in the early stages to mid-stages of senility, I don't think anybody knows what they're looking at.
00:17:21.000 Okay, so Joe Biden is now trying to fill back in his policy failures with late-breaking executive orders.
00:17:29.000 So yesterday, he announced that he was going to issue an executive order to curb illegal immigration.
00:17:36.000 Kerry was announcing this executive order, triumphantly sharing that he was now going to control the border, which is amazing because we have heard from him.
00:17:43.000 For years at this point, there was literally nothing he could do about the border.
00:17:46.000 But now he's going to do something about the border, and we're supposed to trust that he actually believes that he's going to do something about the border.
00:17:51.000 Do you trust him?
00:17:52.000 Do you?
00:17:53.000 After somewhere between 7 and 10 million illegal immigrants have entered the country, do you believe that Joe Biden really wants to close the border now?
00:18:01.000 Today I'm announcing actions to bar migrants who cross our southern border unlawfully from receiving asylum.
00:18:09.000 Migrants will be restricted from receiving asylum at our southern border unless they seek it after entering through an established lawful process.
00:18:17.000 This action will help us gain control of our border, restore order into the process.
00:18:23.000 This ban Remain in place until the number of people trying to enter illegally is reduced to a level that our system can effectively manage.
00:18:32.000 What exactly is that level?
00:18:34.000 According to Politico, the action and accompanying rule from the Biden administration allows the president to suspend asylum claims between ports of entry.
00:18:40.000 Not at ports of entry, so he can still arrive at a port of entry, claim asylum, he'll still process you and let you into the interior.
00:18:45.000 But he will only suspend asylum claims between ports of entry when there is an average of 2,500 crossings a day over a seven-day period.
00:18:54.000 So again, I may not be a mathematician.
00:18:57.000 However, I can do some basic math.
00:18:59.000 That means that he will only suspend entry, asking for asylum, between ports of entry, not at the ports of entry, between, when the annualized rate of illegal immigration is almost 1,000,000 illegal immigrants.
00:19:13.000 Because 2,500 times 365 is 912,500.
00:19:14.000 2500 times 365 is 912,500.
00:19:18.000 That threshold is when he starts to get a little upset.
00:19:21.000 Now the media are trying to play this as though he's actually trying to get the border under control.
00:19:26.000 Quote, the announcement, this is Politico, represents an aggressive attempt by Biden to bolster his standing on the border in advance of the November election.
00:19:32.000 Biden is expected to use a speech on Tuesday to highlight his unilateral efforts to resolve the crisis.
00:19:38.000 He said, today I'm moving past Republican obstruction and using the executive authorities available to me as president to do what I can to address the border.
00:19:46.000 Now, realistically, he could have just reinstalled Remain in Mexico, which was the Trump-era border policy.
00:19:51.000 He could, today, change the interpretation of asylum law so that instead of you simply arriving at the border and shouting, I fear to go back to my home country, instead you would actually have to make a serious evidentiary showing that there is a reason why you specifically feared to go back to your home country.
00:20:06.000 Not because your home country is crap.
00:20:07.000 Turns out most countries on planet Earth are kind of crappy.
00:20:11.000 You'd actually have to show why you specifically require asylum.
00:20:15.000 Like you're a political victim of the current regime, for example.
00:20:20.000 So, Biden announced on Tuesday that he's also expected to face legal challenges, which is his way of just throwing something out there that gets struck down, and then he can claim that he tried to do what he can, but the truth is he's not even trying.
00:20:30.000 So Bill Malugan, who's been doing excellent reporting for Fox News on the border, He tweeted out, quote, in no way can Biden's executive order be described as shutting down the border.
00:20:39.000 It bans asylum to some illegal crosses, crossers, with some exceptions.
00:20:42.000 It does not stop or slow the up to 1,500 migrants per day released into the United States via CBP one app at ports of entry and does not stop or slow the up to 30,000 migrants per month flying directly into the United States and being released into the country via Biden's controversial mass parole program for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans.
00:21:01.000 Unaccompanied children and minors are exempt from the order, which leads to concerns about child trafficking.
00:21:05.000 One of the things that a lot of these cartels do is they arrive on the border and they drop off kids.
00:21:10.000 And then those kids have an adult pick them up on the other side of the border, but there's no real way to check who the adults are who are picking up the kids on the other side of the border, which is extraordinarily dangerous and icy.
00:21:19.000 It's more on this in just a moment.
00:21:20.000 First, my days are really full.
00:21:22.000 I got the show, the company, being a dad, a lot going on.
00:21:25.000 If I don't get a good night's sleep, my day sucks.
00:21:27.000 That is why I rely on my Helix mattress.
00:21:30.000 Helix harnesses years of mattress expertise to offer that truly elevated sleep experience.
00:21:34.000 The Helix Elite Collection includes six different mattress models, each tailored for specific sleep positions and firmness preferences.

00:21:42.000 Helix has a sleep quiz that matches your body type and sleep preferences to the perfect mattress.
00:21:46.000 Because why would you buy a mattress made for somebody else?
00:21:48.000 I took that Helix quiz.
00:21:49.000 I was matched with a firm but breathable mattress.
00:21:51.000 I love it.
00:21:51.000 My wife loves it.
00:21:51.000 We are big Helix fans at the Shapiro house.
00:21:54.000 In fact, when we had our family from out of town stay at the house recently, they asked where they could get a mattress like the one in the guest room.
00:21:59.000 We told them they are proud owners of a Helix Sleep mattress.
00:22:02.000 Helix has a 10-year warranty.
00:22:03.000 You get to try it out for 100 nights risk-free.
00:22:05.000 They'll even pick it up for you if you don't love it, but I'm not sure that's ever happened before.
00:22:09.000 Helix is offering up to 20% off all mattress orders and two free pillows for my listeners.
00:22:13.000 Just head on over to HelixSleep.com slash Ben.
00:22:15.000 It's their best offer yet.
00:22:16.000 It's not going to last long.
00:22:17.000 HelixSleep.com slash Ben with Helix.
00:22:19.000 Better sleep starts right now.
00:22:21.000 Also, says Bill Malugan, asylum has already been banned for most migrants who cross illegally since the end of Title 42 last year.
00:22:27.000 That hasn't stopped them from coming.
00:22:28.000 Highest numbers in recorded history end of 2023.
00:22:30.000 The order may speed up removals to countries we can deport easily to, like Mexico or the Northern Triangle countries, but there's been no explanation as to how the administration will be able to begin mass removal of migrants coming from another hemisphere with governments that don't cooperate with the United States.
00:22:44.000 Meanwhile, Ali Bradley, who's a network correspondent for NewsNation, tweeted, in an internal memo to ICE, the ERO Executive Associate Director says that CBP and ERO will not question illegal immigrants who cross the southern border and are processed for expedited removal while the limitation is in effect regarding their fear of return.
00:23:02.000 Quote, if a non-citizen subject to the presidential proclamation is processed for expedited removal and manifests fear or an intention to apply for asylum or related protection while detained in ICE custody, the non-citizen Well, that's precisely the opposite of what Biden is saying publicly.
00:23:19.000 That means that if you are processed for expedited removal and you say the magic words, I fear to go back to my home country, you are then removed from the procedures for expedited removal and you are instead placed with USCIS for processing.
00:23:35.000 In other words, Joe Biden is pretending.
00:23:37.000 This is all pretend, because he thinks you're a dum-dum.
00:23:40.000 He thinks the American public is filled with dum-dums.
00:23:42.000 And why wouldn't he think that?
00:23:43.000 Somehow they elected him last time.
00:23:46.000 President Trump, for his part, he came out and blasted Joe Biden's border incompetence.
00:23:50.000 Here's what he had to say.
00:23:52.000 Millions of people have poured into our country, and now, after nearly four years of his failed, weak leadership, pathetic leadership, crooked Joe Biden is pretending to finally do something about the border.
00:24:05.000 But in fact, it's all about Joe because he knows we have a debate coming up in three weeks.
00:24:11.000 The truth is that Joe Biden's executive order won't stop the invasion.
00:24:15.000 It's weak and it's pathetic.
00:24:16.000 It will actually make the invasion worse.
00:24:20.000 Millions of people a year will continue to pour across our border and be released into our country.
00:24:26.000 By the way, everyone knows this, including the people coming across the border who have been caught countless times on tape specifically thanking Joe Biden for loosening border restrictions.
00:24:35.000 But again, it's not just on our southern border.
00:24:37.000 It's not just with regard to our economy.
00:24:39.000 It's also on foreign policy where we have a problem.
00:24:42.000 Joe Biden is continuing to pressure Israel to accept a deal that supposedly Israel proposed.
00:24:47.000 Again, this is like the stupidest thing.
00:24:50.000 It's unbelievably stupid.
00:24:51.000 Basically, Joe Biden is attempting a tactic where he takes a proposal that is vague and then he tries to spin it up into Israel surrendering to and then asks to accept the surrender.
00:25:04.000 Israel, for its part, is like, no, that's not a deal that we want.
00:25:07.000 But Joe Biden is going to continue to try and walk this zombie proposal through the process.
00:25:11.000 According to the Times of Israel, Joe Biden told Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Monday that Israel was prepared to advance the hostage deal proposal it made last week and urged Doha to pressure Qatar to accept the offer.
00:25:23.000 Biden, quote, confirmed Israel's readiness to move forward with the terms that have now been offered to Qatar and urged the emir to use all appropriate measures to secure Qatar's acceptance of the deal.
00:25:31.000 But of course that's ridiculous because Israel has already come out and said, we will not accept a deal that leaves in control of the Gaza Strip.
00:25:38.000 And we are not going to simply abandon the Gaza Strip to the tender mercies of.
00:25:44.000 Again, the Israeli government not only did not make this proposal, Joe Biden is lying about the proposal they did make.
00:25:50.000 Well, it turns out that when the proposal was conveyed to Congress, it did not include a provision allowing Congress to continue to exist or ending the war permanently.
00:25:57.000 So Congress immediately came out and rejected the deal, which of course they were going to do.
00:26:01.000 This is all very reminiscent of the sweetheart deal that got cut on behalf of Hunter Biden by the DOJ, where basically the prosecutors in defense had agreed covertly that they wouldn't say the quiet part out loud that they were getting rid of all the Hunter Biden tax cases with the gun charge case, but they kind of were.
00:26:16.000 And then a judge called them on it and was like, uh, guys, what do you mean by this?
00:26:19.000 And when that was exposed, the entire deal fell apart.
00:26:21.000 That's what's happening right now.
00:26:23.000 Joe Biden is attempting to push forward a deal that ignores the key component.
00:26:28.000 We'll get to survive and run the Gaza Strip.
00:26:30.000 Israel says no, says yes, so there's no deal.
00:26:34.000 But Joe Biden is trying to cram the perspective down on Israel.
00:26:38.000 And Israel's like, no.
00:26:39.000 So that got conveyed.
00:26:41.000 And now, senior official Assama Hamda clarified a short time ago in an official press conference on behalf of, quote, we informed the mediators we could not agree to a deal.
00:26:49.000 That would not guarantee a permanent ceasefire and a full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip alongside a serious prisoner deal.
00:26:54.000 In other words, they are not going to simply sign a prisoner deal unless Israel effectively surrenders the Gaza Strip back to Hamas, which would be the stupidest military move in human history.
00:27:07.000 Meanwhile, count on the French to bend over on behalf of the world's worst human beings.
00:27:12.000 They have a long history of doing this, of course.
00:27:14.000 On Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron called for an end to the war in Gaza, but he didn't condition that ceasefire on the release of captives.
00:27:21.000 At all.
00:27:23.000 Absolute absurdity on every level.
00:27:26.000 Meanwhile, at least the House of Representatives Where Republicans, still run the place, passed a bill to sanction the International Criminal Court for its attempt to charge the Israeli Prime Minister with war crimes.
00:27:38.000 The legislation passed 247 to 155 with 42 Democrats joining the Republicans to pass the bill despite opposition from the White House.
00:27:45.000 So again, absolute incompetence on the foreign front.
00:27:47.000 All of this makes a hostage deal significantly less likely.
00:27:51.000 Because Trump believes that the longer they hold out, the more pressure that Biden will bring on the Israeli government.
00:27:57.000 It's also more likely to lead to a conflagration in the north because Bilal believes that the harder they push in the north, the more Biden will pressure Israel not to do anything.
00:28:05.000 So again, the situation across the world just gets worse.
00:28:08.000 We'll get to more on this in just one second.
00:28:09.000 First, finding that perfect sleep aid can feel like uncovering a hidden treasure.

00:29:25.000 Meanwhile, the Hunter Biden trial began yesterday and had a couple of bombshells in it.
00:29:30.000 Bombshell number one, I got to say the Biden family, these are just, what a bunch of virtuous,
00:29:36.000 Wonderful people.
00:29:38.000 What a bunch of truly, deliciously virtuous people.
00:29:42.000 Solid folks.
00:29:43.000 According to Breitbart, Hallie Biden, the ex of Hunter Biden and widow of his brother, will testify about using crack with Hunter, according to prosecutor Derek Hines.
00:29:52.000 Hallie, of course, dated Hunter in 2018 and found his Colt Cobra .38 handgun in his truck outside her home.
00:29:57.000 So, not trusting him because he was, you know, a drug addict, she dumped the gun in a nearby grocery store trash bin.
00:30:04.000 Hunter, of course, lied on his federal forms.
00:30:05.000 That's what this trial is about.
00:30:08.000 Again, the prosecution is going to call several witnesses, apparently including Hallie, to testify that apparently Hunter helped get her addicted to crack.
00:30:18.000 What a joy he is.
00:30:19.000 The smartest person Joe Biden knows.
00:30:21.000 What a wonderful human being.
00:30:23.000 So glad Joe Biden was keeping classified documents at his home in Wilmington where Hunter was staying.
00:30:28.000 No risk there, probably.
00:30:30.000 Meanwhile, in the most delicious turn of the trial so far, the Hunter Biden gun trial jurors were shown the infamous laptop reported by the New York Post.
00:30:37.000 You remember the laptop from hell.
00:30:40.000 This would be Hunter Biden's laptop that that drug-addled idiot left at a computer repair shop.
00:30:45.000 And you will remember that there were hundreds of intelligence officials who came out and said it was Russian disinformation.
00:30:52.000 It was a piece of agitprop coming from Vladimir Putin.
00:30:56.000 And you'll remember that the Biden campaign came out and echoed that.
00:31:00.000 They knew full well it was real.
00:31:01.000 After all, Joe happens to be Hunter's father, as we've been reminded many, many times.
00:31:06.000 And yet, Joe went out there and lied about it, the Democratic Party went out there and lied about it, and then...
00:31:12.000 The Biden campaign and the FBI attempted to suppress the dissemination of that particular story with the Russian disinformation nonsense by going to social media and pretending that it was Russian disinformation.
00:31:22.000 Well, yesterday in court, the laptop was presented as a piece of evidence by the prosecution, which means the government knows full well the laptop is real.
00:31:31.000 According to the New York Post, the pivotal moment unfolded after Prosecutor Derek Hines brought out a plastic-wrapped laptop, walked it across the courtroom, and presented it to his first witness, FBI Special Agent Erica Jensen.
00:31:41.000 Jensen took the MacBook Pro 13 and verified that it had, in fact, belonged to President Biden's son.
00:31:48.000 Now, again, Joe Biden had loaded all of his goodies on there, including pictures of prostitutes and him doing crack.
00:31:54.000 You know, stuff that you'd really want, like, a good record of.
00:31:58.000 I'm amazed at how many people do the crime on the tape.
00:32:00.000 It really is an incredible thing.
00:32:03.000 But it only took a few years for them to admit that the Hunter Biden laptop was real.
00:32:07.000 I can't imagine why we've blown out all of our institutional trust after the intelligence community came out and suggested it was all fake and shut down the story a month out from the election of 2020.
00:32:18.000 In just one second, we'll get to Merrick Garland, another member of the Injustice Squad for Joe Biden, who appeared before Congress yesterday.
00:32:26.000 First, did you join the legal profession only to take a job that is draining and meaningless?
00:32:30.000 Been there, folks.
00:32:31.000 Would you like to work for a legal department that doesn't suck the soul right out of your body, like at a mentor?
00:32:36.000 Well, you are in luck.
00:32:37.000 The Daily Wire legal department, that is the same legal team that sued the Biden administration over its VAX mandate and won, is seeking four great legal minds, a corporate attorney, an entertainment attorney, a director of litigation,
00:32:46.000 and a contracts manager.
00:32:47.000 So what exactly are you waiting for?

00:33:07.000 Meanwhile, Merrick Garland, the world's second worst attorney general,
00:33:10.000 I still place Eric Holder at the top of the list.
00:33:13.000 He appeared in front of Congress where he was browbeaten about his horrible tenure
00:33:17.000 as attorney general of the United States.
00:33:20.000 He, of course, attempted to defend himself.
00:33:22.000 He said he will not be intimidated.
00:33:23.000 He's just pursuing justice.
00:33:24.000 Now, you can name off the top of your head half a dozen times when Merrick Garland absolutely did not pursue justice.
00:33:30.000 Whether it is his attempt to cut a sweetheart deal with Hunter Biden or whether it's his latest attempts, for example, These repeated attacks on the Justice Department are unprecedented and they are unfounded.
00:33:41.000 and vegetable presidents of the United States.
00:33:43.000 But he's out there saying that he's doing the Lord's work.
00:33:46.000 This is a man who stands for justice.
00:33:48.000 Merrick Garland.
00:33:49.000 Here we go.
00:33:51.000 These repeated attacks on the Justice Department are unprecedented and they are unfounded.
00:33:59.000 These attacks have not and they will not influence our decision making.
00:34:06.000 I view contempt as a serious matter, but I will not jeopardize the ability of our prosecutors
00:34:13.000 and agents to do their jobs effectively in future investigations.
00:34:18.000 I I will not be intimidated, and the Justice Department will not be intimidated.
00:34:25.000 We will continue to do our jobs, free from political influence, and we will not back down from defending democracy.
00:34:35.000 Merrick Garland doing the Al Pacino routine from Injustice for All?
00:34:38.000 You're out of order!
00:34:39.000 This entire court is out of order!
00:34:42.000 No one believes you, dude.
00:34:44.000 No one believes you.
00:34:45.000 The Department of Justice has been plagued by corruption since at least the Clinton administration, if you go all the way back to Janet Reno.
00:34:52.000 Certainly it was plagued by corruption during the Obama administration, where the Civil Rights Department of the Justice Department went out of its way to do heavy political dirty work in favor of Barack Obama's political agenda.
00:35:03.000 Where Eric Holder literally declared himself the president's wingman.
00:35:06.000 And I love it when Democrats are like, how dare you, sir, impugn the dignity of the Department of Justice?
00:35:14.000 You literally did that nonstop while Donald Trump was president.
00:35:18.000 You literally wouldn't stop doing it.
00:35:19.000 You said the bill bar was corrupt.
00:35:21.000 You said Jeff Sessions was corrupt, even though Jeff Sessions literally recused himself and allowed the Mueller investigation to go forward.
00:35:27.000 I don't believe you.
00:35:29.000 I don't believe you, Merrick Garland.
00:35:31.000 All of these supposed institutionalists who have spent the last three years destroying these institutions and their credibility, going out there and being like, but why don't you respect the institutions?
00:35:41.000 Respect them.
00:35:41.000 Respect them right now, or you're destroying our democracy, TM.
00:35:46.000 Capital O, capital D, our democracy.
00:35:49.000 I don't believe you.
00:35:50.000 You're hypocrites and you're liars.
00:35:52.000 But this is the shtick.
00:35:54.000 So here's Merrick Garland saying, Weird!
00:35:59.000 I feel like democracy in fact might involve attacking the DOJ sometimes.
00:36:04.000 It feels like democracy might involve, say, criticism of executive branch agencies.
00:36:09.000 That involve unelected bureaucrats doing the dirty work of enforcing the political agenda of the President of the United States.
00:36:16.000 That might be democracy a little bit.
00:36:18.000 In fact, it might be democracy when the House of Representatives, an elected branch, holds to account the Attorney General, who's never been elected by anybody.
00:36:26.000 But, again, this is all clownish crap about how anybody who opposes the Biden administration is the true tyrant.
00:36:31.000 True democracy is when you just give all authority to Joe Biden and never ask any questions again.
00:36:35.000 That's, of course, what democracy looks like.
00:36:38.000 We intend to aggressively investigate and prosecute threats against our public officials, including members of Congress, of which the numbers have actually exploded in the past couple of years.
00:36:51.000 Our democracy cannot continue if the people who make the democracy run are afraid, if they make their decisions based on fear of being threatened or of being assaulted.
00:37:05.000 No democracy can survive under those circumstances, and we will do everything we can in our power to investigate, deter, and prosecute anyone who makes threats against public service.
00:37:16.000 Two words.
00:37:17.000 Derek Chauvin.
00:37:19.000 Seriously, that dude is in jail because of public intimidation, including by the current president of the United States and his vice president.
00:37:29.000 All these people pretending that the justice system is working absolutely apolitically.
00:37:35.000 Merrick Garland, what a joke.
00:37:36.000 So, Merrick Garland was asked about whether there had been any communications between the DOJ and, say, local prosecutors in Atlanta or Manhattan.
00:37:44.000 Obviously, there's been a lot of speculation about the political prosecution of Donald Trump in New York.
00:37:49.000 Alvin Bragg bringing a completely specious charge that was predicated upon a federal charge over which he has no jurisdiction.
00:37:58.000 Letitia James in New York, or Fannie Willis in Atlanta, who when she's not schtupping the other prosecutors, who she hired specifically for the purpose apparently, is bringing specious RICO charges.
00:38:09.000 So the question was asked by Congressman Matt Gaetz, you know, do you guys have any communications with these local prosecutors?
00:38:15.000 And Garland's like, how dare you, sir?
00:38:18.000 How dare you?
00:38:21.000 Will the Department of Justice provide to the committee all documents, all correspondence between the department And Alvin Bragg's office and Fannie Willis's office and Letitia James's office.
00:38:33.000 The offices you're referring to are independent offices of state.
00:38:37.000 I get that.
00:38:38.000 I get that.
00:38:38.000 The question is whether or not you will provide all of your documents and correspondence.
00:38:42.000 That's the question.
00:38:43.000 I don't need a history lesson.
00:38:46.000 Well, I'm gonna say again.
00:38:48.000 We do not control those offices.
00:38:50.000 They make their own decisions.
00:38:51.000 The question is whether you communicate with them, not whether you control them.
00:38:53.000 Do you communicate with them and will you provide those communications?
00:38:56.000 If you make a request, we'll refer it to our Office of Legislative Affairs.
00:38:59.000 But see, here's the thing.
00:39:00.000 You come in here and you lodge this attack that it's a conspiracy theory that there is coordinated lawfare against Trump.
00:39:07.000 And then when we say, fine, just give us the documents, give us the correspondence, and then if it's a conspiracy theory, that will be evident.
00:39:14.000 Matt Gaetz is correct here.
00:39:16.000 He's absolutely correct.
00:39:18.000 If the DOJ wants to show no coordination, they could say there are no documents.
00:39:22.000 There have been no such communications.
00:39:24.000 They're not saying that.
00:39:25.000 Like, you can lodge that request.
00:39:27.000 I guarantee you that Merrick Garland knows whether there are documents or not.
00:39:33.000 And this is all, it's just, it's all so tiresome and it's all so childish.
00:39:36.000 Merrick Garland is a political hack.
00:39:38.000 He's been a political hack since the day he became Attorney General of the United States.
00:39:41.000 Thank God Mitch McConnell stopped him from being on the Supreme Court of the United States to join his fellow left-wing hacks like Ketanji Brown Jackson and Sonia Sotomayor.
00:39:52.000 Merrick Garland was then asked about whether there was evidence tampering
00:39:56.000 in the Trump case because there were some photos, for example, that came from Mar-a-Lago of the
00:40:02.000 FBI having spread out the evidence and put top secret folders down on the floor to make it look as
00:40:06.000 though the documents said right on them in giant letters, top secret. Here was Jim Jordan asking
00:40:10.000 Merrick Garland about this.
00:40:11.000 He was the best pick for the most high profile investigation ever. He was independent.
00:40:18.000 He was not partisan.
00:40:20.000 He had never held a political office.
00:40:21.000 He was never appointed in a political office.
00:40:24.000 Was he your first choice?
00:40:25.000 He had a long career as a career pastor.
00:40:26.000 Was he your first choice?
00:40:28.000 I'm not going to go into the questions about him.
00:40:31.000 Did you know him before you picked him?
00:40:32.000 I did not.
00:40:33.000 You never worked with him?
00:40:34.000 I did not.
00:40:35.000 Did you meet with him prior to announcing his selection and tell him what was going on?
00:40:39.000 Of course I did.
00:40:39.000 What happened in that meeting?
00:40:40.000 I met with him.
00:40:41.000 I asked him if he would be willing to do this.
00:40:43.000 We talked about my understandings of the role of this office, which are on the public record.
00:40:49.000 That's all.
00:40:50.000 Did he ask for the job?
00:40:55.000 This is not a job I don't think anybody asks for.
00:40:57.000 I'm sorry.
00:40:58.000 No, but that's not the question I asked you.
00:40:59.000 I said, did Jack Smith ask for the job?
00:41:01.000 He did not ask me for the job, no.
00:41:03.000 Okay, then Garland went on to suggest that he's never listened to this famous tape now of Joe Biden and special counsel Robert Herr.
00:41:12.000 So you'll recall, Robert Herr was the prosecutor who looked into Joe Biden's mishandling of classified information.
00:41:17.000 You'll also remember that the entire transcript of that interview was released, and that transcript is just as bad as the Time Magazine transcript that I read you a little bit earlier.
00:41:29.000 It's filled with gobbledygook and nonsense, absolute incoherence from a babbling buffoon.
00:41:35.000 And so everybody rightly was like, uh, can we hear the tape?
00:41:37.000 Especially because Robert Herr had let the President of the United States off without charges by effectively declaring that he was unfit to face trial.
00:41:45.000 That he would have been acquitted on the basis that he is, in fact, an elderly buffoon no longer in control of his faculties or his bowels.
00:41:52.000 And so people were like, well, can we listen to the tape?
00:41:54.000 And Merrick Garland was like, no, you can't listen to that tape.
00:41:57.000 How dare you even ask for that tape?
00:42:01.000 So, um, according to Garland, he has never listened to that audio.
00:42:04.000 At all?
00:42:05.000 Have you listened to the audio recording?
00:42:09.000 I have not, because there's no reason for me to listen to it in order to make the determinations that I had to make.
00:42:15.000 We had the special counsel describe in detail his explanations for his determinations.
00:42:21.000 So let me, I mean, I don't understand how you can kind of sit before the congressional committee and kind of arbitrate.
00:42:29.000 What's indistinguishable from the transcripts if you're not even sure what's on the tapes themselves?
00:42:34.000 I'm not doing it on my own.
00:42:36.000 I have... So you're saying other people have listened to it within the department?
00:42:40.000 Within the department and the special counsel has listened to it and the special counsel had every interest in ensuring that the transcript that he produced in order to do his investigation would be accurate.
00:42:52.000 Okay, well, you haven't listened to the tape, so why don't you release it, though?
00:42:55.000 That's the question.
00:42:57.000 Why can't we hear any of it?
00:43:00.000 We have made clear that we will not provide audio recordings from which the transcripts that you already have were created.
00:43:08.000 Releasing the audio would shill cooperation with the department in future investigations, and it could influence witnesses' answers if they thought the audio of their law enforcement interviews It could influence their answers?
00:43:25.000 What if you release the transcript?
00:43:27.000 Couldn't that influence their answers?
00:43:28.000 This is all such hackish garbage.
00:43:31.000 This goes to the key problem for the Biden campaign.
00:43:34.000 Joe Biden and his friends have undermined American institutions in absolutely critical ways.
00:43:39.000 They've undermined American allies in absolutely critical ways.
00:43:42.000 They are very bad, in other words, at the president thing.
00:43:45.000 And that is why They say that a convicted felon, 34-time convicted felon, is currently running up on Joe Biden, is currently running ahead of Joe Biden.
00:43:55.000 That is not a coincidence.
00:43:56.000 That is a basic reality.
00:43:58.000 And it is because Joe Biden is horrible at this.
00:44:03.000 We'll get to more on this in a moment.
00:44:04.000 First, I know what it's like to start and run a business.

00:45:05.000 By the way, when I say that Joe Biden is slipping, let me make clear, I'm not the
00:45:08.000 only one saying this. I love when there are news stories that confirm the most obvious things in
00:45:14.000 You know, and there's a study, and it's like, men find women who are hot, sexually attractive.
00:45:19.000 It's like, study says.
00:45:20.000 Like, I didn't need a study for that.
00:45:21.000 Like, I knew that.
00:45:22.000 Well, here's another one of those.
00:45:23.000 You ready?
00:45:24.000 Here we go.
00:45:25.000 Behind closed doors, Biden shows signs of slipping.
00:45:29.000 Behind closed doors?
00:45:29.000 How about, like, in front of open doors?
00:45:31.000 How about like everywhere?
00:45:32.000 How about literally slipping and falling?
00:45:35.000 That's the Wall Street Journal, by the way.
00:45:36.000 It's their top headline today.
00:45:37.000 Quote, When President Biden met with congressional leaders in the West Wing in January to negotiate a Ukraine funding deal, he spoke so softly at times, some participants struggled to hear him, according to five people familiar with the meeting.
00:45:48.000 He read from notes to make obvious points, paused for extended periods, and sometimes closed his eyes for so long, some in the room wondered whether he had tuned out.
00:45:55.000 In a February 101 chat in the Oval Office with House Speaker Mike Johnson, the president said a recent policy change by his administration that jeopardizes some big energy projects was just a study, according to six people told at the time about what Johnson said had happened.
00:46:07.000 Johnson worried the president's memory had slipped about the details of his own policy.
00:46:11.000 Last year, when Biden was negotiating with House Republicans to lift the debt ceiling, his demeanor and command of the details seemed to shift from one day to the next, according to then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and two others familiar with the talks.
00:46:22.000 On some days, he had loose and spontaneous exchanges with the Republicans.
00:46:24.000 On others, he mumbled and appeared to rely on notes.
00:46:27.000 I used to meet with him when he was VP.
00:46:29.000 I'd go to his house, McCarthy said.
00:46:30.000 He's not the same person.
00:46:31.000 Some who have worked with him, including Democrats and some who have known him
00:46:35.000 from back to his time as VP, described a president who appears slower now.
00:46:40.000 Someone who has both good moments and bad ones.
00:46:44.000 What are we describing Grandma here?
00:46:47.000 He's the President of the United States running for re-election.
00:46:50.000 Like, well, Grandma has some good moments.
00:46:52.000 Every so often, she recognizes her grandchildren.
00:46:55.000 Other times, she shouts at the Jamaican lady who works with her.
00:47:01.000 What are we talking about here?
00:47:02.000 He's the President of the United States in charge of the world's most powerful military and he can't hold it together for more than 10 minutes at a time without being drugged up the wazoo.
00:47:13.000 Honest to God, whatever cocktail they gave him before the State of the Union, if they gave it to me my head would explode.
00:47:19.000 It's insane.
00:47:21.000 For much of his career, Biden enjoyed a reputation on Capitol Hill for being a master negotiator of legislative deals.
00:47:27.000 No, he didn't.
00:47:28.000 Over the past year, though, with Republicans in control of the House, that reputation has diminished.
00:47:33.000 White House spokesman Andrew Bates says this is false.
00:47:35.000 Quote, congressional Republicans, foreign leaders, and nonpartisan national security experts have
00:47:39.000 made clear in their own words, President Biden is a savvy, effective leader who has a deep record
00:47:43.000 of legislative accomplishment. Now in 2024, House Republicans are making false claims as a political
00:47:48.000 tactic that flatly contradict previous statements made by themselves and their colleagues.
00:47:52.000 While the Wall Street Journal talked to more than 45 people over several months,
00:47:56.000 including both Republicans and Democrats.
00:47:59.000 Most of those who said Biden performed poorly were Republicans, but some Democrats said he showed his age in several of the exchanges.
00:48:07.000 Again, this notion that this guy is capable of running the country, he's horrible ideologically.
00:48:13.000 Combine the ideological horror of this presidency With the fact that the president of the United States is no longer with us, and what you end up with is a president who is cruising for a bruising in his re-elect fight.
00:48:24.000 Again, all Donald Trump has to do when they get to that debate, Donald Trump needs to be quiet.
00:48:30.000 He needs to be quiet.
00:48:30.000 He needs to let Joe Biden talk.
00:48:33.000 Just let him keep talking.
00:48:35.000 And if Joe Biden drifts off and he says, Trump at that point should say, Joe, I know we all want to hear what you're saying.
00:48:42.000 Keep going.
00:48:44.000 He needs to say, you haven't filled your time yet, Joe.
00:48:46.000 I don't want to take time away from you.
00:48:47.000 Go for it, Joe.
00:48:49.000 Like really, I don't want to cut you off.
00:48:51.000 Really, go for it.
00:48:53.000 We'll see how that plays for Joe Biden.
00:48:56.000 Already coming up, Ibram X. Kendi.
00:48:58.000 You remember him.
00:48:59.000 He's how to be an anti-racist guy.
00:49:01.000 Well, it turns out his entire career is falling apart because the grift is over.
00:49:04.000 If you're not a member, become a member.
