The Ben Shapiro Show - Biden Falls Down The Stairs | Ep. 1220

00:00:00.000 President Biden is stumbling downstairs and crowding migrant children into cages, but his approval ratings are golden. 0.97

00:00:05.000 The establishment media turn over the keys to Ibram X. Kendi and another woke culture warrior has a guilty past.

00:00:11.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.

00:00:11.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.

00:00:24.000 We'll get to all the news in just one moment and plenty of news there is.

00:00:29.000 But we begin with the fact that the currency is about to be inflated.

00:00:32.000 I mean, let's be real about this.

00:00:34.000 The way the government is spending is not sustainable, and that means you need to diversify away from things like bonds and into something a little bit more solid.

00:00:40.000 I, of course, am talking about precious metals.

00:00:42.000 I've been telling you about Birch Gold Group for the past five years.

00:00:45.000 I buy my gold from Birch Gold, and so do you.

00:00:47.000 I'm really excited because Birch Gold has just passed a major milestone, 10,000 customers, That is 10,000 people who have a plan against radical leftist policies driving up our national debt, devaluing the dollar.

00:00:56.000 If you've been waiting to call Birch Gold to convert an IRA or eligible 401k into an IRA backed by gold and silver, now would be an excellent time.

00:01:03.000 Through April 30th on qualifying purchases, when you purchase precious metals with Birch Gold, they'll send you a free home safe.

00:01:08.000 We've given away books, silver.

00:01:10.000 This is their biggest giveaway ever.

00:01:12.000 So here's the thing, Larry Summers, former Secretary of the Treasury under Bill Clinton, He says we are now watching the worst fiscal policy in four decades.

00:01:19.000 Do not be a victim of that fiscal policy.

00:01:20.000 Instead, diversify into Precious Metals.

00:01:39.000 Alrighty, so.

00:01:41.000 Just before the weekend, Joe Biden had an unfortunate run-in with some stares.

00:01:46.000 And this video was basically blacked out on all of American national TV.

00:01:50.000 International TV covered it.

00:01:52.000 But Joe Biden, who's 78 years old, let it not be forgotten here.

00:01:56.000 The man is 78 years old.

00:01:57.000 He's obviously in somewhat frail health.

00:01:59.000 Every time he speaks for longer than about a couple of sentences, you feel your guts start to churn.

00:02:04.000 I mean, it's to the point where you can't even really mock.

00:02:07.000 Like you feel bad mocking because the guy is 78 years old.

00:02:11.000 And honestly, like a lot of 78 year old people have trouble going upstairs the way that Joe Biden obviously has some trouble going up these stairs.

00:02:18.000 So you can see here Joe Biden climbing up the stairs of Air Force One.

00:02:21.000 There's a little bit of a breeze, but this is not like Hurricane Gales here.

00:02:26.000 Once, twice, and down.

00:02:28.000 Down goes Frasier.

00:02:29.000 So, picks himself up, kind of limps his way back up to the top.

00:02:33.000 So, the White House naturally blamed the wind for this.

00:02:38.000 This was not the wind.

00:02:39.000 This was Joe Biden slipping.

00:02:41.000 Now, listen, do I think slipping on the stairs is the world's biggest deal?

00:02:44.000 I don't think it's the biggest deal, but I will point out that Joe Biden has prided himself on his peak physical condition for well over a couple of years now.

00:02:51.000 He's been challenging people in the crowd to fight.

00:02:53.000 He challenged President Trump to like a push-up contest or something.

00:02:55.000 And you'll remember that when Donald Trump went down a ramp slowly, when he took little steps to go down a ramp, and there was mockery about how he was afraid of stairs, Joe Biden jumped right in on that. 0.98

00:03:05.000 So I guess that if you're going to be a jerk like Joe Biden was, then apparently, you know, what goes around comes around. 0.98

00:03:11.000 Look at how he steps and look how I step. 1.00

00:03:14.000 Watch how I run up ramps and he stumbles down ramps, OK?

00:03:18.000 Come on.

00:03:19.000 Come on.

00:03:20.000 OK, well, you fell down on the stairs three times in one flight of stairs.

00:03:25.000 So there's that.

00:03:27.000 Remember, folks, that the entire comedic establishment has decided there is nothing funny here.

00:03:31.000 You're not allowed to make fun of Joe Biden.

00:03:33.000 There's nothing not even you're not allowed.

00:03:34.000 There's nothing funny about him.

00:03:36.000 He's just so serious and so clear.

00:03:40.000 And so with it, you can't make fun of the president of the United States.

00:03:44.000 It's impossible, according to our comedians.

00:03:46.000 The same people who said that Gerald Ford, a former All-American football player, was a klutz and a bozo because he fell down stairs.

00:03:54.000 Right?

00:03:55.000 That literally they made fun of him for like several years on SNL because of that.

00:03:58.000 You remember that Bob Dole was considered a kooky older klutz because he fell off a Bob Dole was 73.

00:04:06.000 Joe Biden is 78.

00:04:06.000 So it just demonstrates the kind of double standard that Joe Biden is being treated to.

00:04:12.000 And of course, it is that double standard that is responsible for the fact that his approval ratings are extremely high right now.

00:04:18.000 Joe Biden's approval ratings are by pretty much every measure significantly higher than President Trump's, even than President Obama's at this point in his presidency, I believe.

00:04:26.000 According to Gallup, President Biden has averaged 56% job approval across three Gallup polls since taking office, including 54% in the latest survey from March 1st to 15th.

00:04:35.000 There's a yawning party gap.

00:04:37.000 Pretty much all Democrats approve and pretty much all Republicans disapprove, which is not a shock.

00:04:40.000 That's the way this stuff works now.

00:04:41.000 But his job ratings differ significantly by gender, education, race, and place of residence.

00:04:45.000 And that is because Joe Biden speaks the vocabulary.

00:04:49.000 Hey, so let it never be forgotten.

00:04:50.000 As long as you speak the vocabulary, you can be as garbage at your job as it is possible to be, and you will still be treated as though you are a wondrous, wondrous politician because you say the right things.

00:05:00.000 And you can see this in the way that the demographic breakdowns go in terms of who really likes Joe Biden. 0.74

00:05:08.000 So women really like Joe Biden. 1.00

00:05:10.000 He's got a 62% approval rating with women, 62 to 34.

00:05:14.000 Men, he's only up 49-45, which seems a lot more accurate to me.

00:05:17.000 Maybe that's because I'm a man.

00:05:19.000 Among white Americans, he actually has a disapproval rating, 45-52.

00:05:24.000 Among black Americans, 89-8, which is, again, pretty reflective of party differences.

00:05:29.000 Among Hispanics, 73-17.

00:05:32.000 If you look at college graduate versus non-college graduate, because Joe Biden speaks the equity language, which is what you are indoctrinated with in college.

00:05:39.000 Remember, colleges these days are not about providing you a skill set so you can actually enter the marketplace.

00:05:43.000 Colleges provide two things.

00:05:45.000 They are a feeder mechanism. 0.80

00:05:46.000 They sort, they're a sorting mechanism.

00:05:48.000 So they allow you to see whether someone is quote unquote smart or not by what college they went to.

00:05:52.000 So it's all about credentialing.

00:05:53.000 And on the other hand, they allow you to speak in the language that the upper crust new ruling class speak in America.

00:06:01.000 And so college graduates look at Joe Biden, he speaks that language Trump didn't, and therefore he's at 64% in the approval ratings versus only 51% for people who are not college graduates.

00:06:09.000 He has heavy support among the young.

00:06:12.000 66% of people aged 18 to 29 support Joe Biden compared to only 51% of people over the age of 65.

00:06:18.000 So there are these huge gaps in approval rating for Joe Biden, utterly disconnected from his performance, by the way, because his performance so far has been pretty abysmal.

00:06:27.000 In fact, his performance has been so abysmal that he has now been relegated to telling George Stephanopoulos, the sycophantic quasi reporter for ABC News, Hey, you know what?

00:06:35.000 You know, I know you're asking a bunch of tough questions about why I'm not working with Republicans and why I'm just sort of ramming things through by executive order and also why I have this crisis on the border.

00:06:43.000 Listen, man, I've only been here for six weeks, which is a really disingenuous excuse from Joe Biden because he was vice president for eight years before the last four years.

00:06:51.000 So he's now been in power nine of the last 13 years.

00:06:55.000 Here is here is Joe Biden.

00:06:57.000 I'm not saying this is going to be easy, George.

00:07:00.000 But I do believe there's enough Republicans over time who are going to have... They haven't had that epiphany you said you were going to see in the campaign.

00:07:09.000 No, no.

00:07:09.000 I've only been here six weeks, pal.

00:07:11.000 Okay?

00:07:12.000 Give me a break.

00:07:13.000 Been here six weeks.

00:07:14.000 I think the epiphany is going to come between now and 2022.

00:07:19.000 Oh, don't worry, guys.

00:07:19.000 He's only been there for six weeks.

00:07:21.000 I mean, if this is the first six weeks, wait to see what you get over the next couple of years.

00:07:26.000 It's going to get really, really bad over the next couple of years, especially because the Democrats are talking about doing away with the filibuster, which is basically the only check on Democrats adding states to the union, completely federalizing all elections and therefore screwing up all of the voting procedures so we have less trust in our elections, ramming down radical rethinking of the American way of life with regard to government.

00:07:49.000 Cracking down on religious freedom?

00:07:51.000 If this is the first six weeks, gang, wait to see what you get over the next few years.

00:07:56.000 And everybody is happy about this in the media, right?

00:07:58.000 Everything is fine.

00:07:59.000 Because never forget, everything is fine on the border even though everything is disastrous on the border.

00:08:05.000 Right now, kids are basically being held in plastic boxes.

00:08:09.000 I mean, I'm looking at a picture right now of kids crowded together under aluminum blankets.

00:08:14.000 Axios has revealed these photos.

00:08:16.000 Doesn't look good, gang.

00:08:17.000 Kids are basically sleeping on plastic mattresses under aluminum sheets in what appeared to be saran wrap boxes.

00:08:27.000 Representative Henry Cuellar of Texas has somehow gotten in there to take some of these pictures.

00:08:33.000 But everything is fine.

00:08:34.000 Everything is cool.

00:08:34.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:08:36.000 First, let's talk about the fact that now's not a great time to go to an auto parts store because never is a great time to go to an auto parts store.

00:08:41.000 You wait in line for a really long time, then you finally get up to the front, and then you have to answer a bunch of specific questions, and then they either have a generic part or they don't have the part at all, and they have to order it online, then they upcharge you for the privilege.

00:08:51.000 Instead, why don't you just skip the middleman and do what you do with everything else?

00:08:54.000 Go to the interwebs, rockauto.com.

00:08:56.000 They always offer the lowest prices possible, rather than changing prices based on what the market will bear, like airlines do.

00:09:01.000 Why spend up to twice as much for the same exact parts?

00:09:04.000 Like, say you happen to need, it's just off the top of my head, a Delphi FG-1456 fuel pump assembly for a 2005 to 2010 Honda Odyssey.

00:09:11.000 That'll cost you like $354 at a big chain store.

00:09:14.000 At Rock Auto, that's $217.

00:09:15.000 You can save yourself a ton of money.

00:09:17.000 Rockauto.com, it's a family business serving.

00:09:19.000 Auto Parts customers online for 20 years, head on over to rockauto.com shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of manufacturers.

00:09:25.000 Best of all, the prices at rockauto.com are always reliably low and the same for professionals and do-it-yourselfers.

00:09:30.000 Why spend up to twice as much for the same parts the rockauto.com catalog?

00:09:34.000 Very...

00:09:34.000 Easy to navigate, unique, quickly see all the parts available for your car or truck, and choose the brand, specifications, and prices.

00:09:40.000 You prefer to go to rockauto.com, see all the parts available for your car or truck, and write Shapiro in there.

00:09:44.000 How did you hear about us, Box?

00:09:45.000 So they know that we sent you, that helps us, that helps them, rockauto.com.

00:09:49.000 Remember, mention Shapiro in there.

00:09:50.000 How did you hear about us, Box?

00:09:51.000 Okay, so according to the Washington Post, A bipartisan pair of senators called for more press access to government facilities, holding the rising number of unaccompanied migrant children arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border, as they described overcrowded conditions for minors who are being held days longer than legally allowed.

00:10:07.000 Remember, when it was Donald Trump, it's because he was Hitler.

00:10:09.000 When it's Joe Biden, it's just because he's so compassionate.

00:10:11.000 Same exact thing, except way more kids arriving at the border and being held in cages than any time under President Trump.

00:10:16.000 And that's just because Joe Biden has such a big heart.

00:10:18.000 This is the beauty of speaking the vocabulary.

00:10:20.000 If you say equity over and over, if you say, yes, we love illegal immigrants over and over and over, it doesn't matter if you're keeping kids in cages.

00:10:28.000 All that matters for Democrats is what you say, not what you do.

00:10:31.000 And then later they can ram down a bunch of radical policy on the back of what you say, of course.

00:10:35.000 More than 200 border agents have now been diverted to a CBP facility to care for children.

00:10:41.000 It's in El Paso.

00:10:43.000 The children who arrived at the southern border without a parent are legally allowed to be held for only 72 hours in CBP custody before being transferred elsewhere, but many are there for days longer than that.

00:10:53.000 According to Senator Shelley Moore Capito, Republican of West Virginia, she says, Senator Chris Murphy, of course, said these kids are not kids in so-called cages.

00:10:59.000 about the overstay in the facility, they'll move 50 out a night to have another hundred come in at that night.

00:11:04.000 Senator Chris Murphy, of course, said these kids are not kids in so-called cages, but he said, they're not facilities anyone would want your child in for more than 10 minutes.

00:11:12.000 Oh, so, but, hmm.

00:11:14.000 Weird, because they look exactly like kids in cages, because those are the exact same facilities Trump was using.

00:11:19.000 But I'm noticing that now, they're just changing the language a little bit to pretend that what's happening is not actually happening.

00:11:24.000 Nancy Pelosi, meanwhile, from her, from her perch, where she has a series of color-coordinated masks, which is interesting. 0.85

00:11:32.000 Number one, she doesn't need a mask. 1.00

00:11:33.000 She's vaccinated.

00:11:34.000 But I will note that every single time she gets up behind the podium, she has a mask that is color-coordinated to her outfit, which is really a nice stylistic choice.

00:11:43.000 You know, when she's not eating her $20 a quart gelato, she's definitely got the color-coordinated mask on with the pearls the size of your hand.

00:11:51.000 Don't worry, she's one of the people, guys.

00:11:53.000 She says that Joe Biden has this under control.

00:11:55.000 That Biden administration has this under control.

00:12:02.000 It will take, it is change, and it'll take some time, but it is values-based, humanitarian in its aspects, pragmatic in how to, with a plan to get things done, and not just a diversionary tactic on the part of the Republicans because they are bankrupt of ideas on how to improve the lives of the American people.

00:12:26.000 Okay, I mean, I mean, I'm back.

00:12:28.000 Nothing there.

00:12:29.000 Nothing there.

00:12:29.000 We have a plan.

00:12:30.000 So what's the plan?

00:12:31.000 Our plan is to take Republicans over and over.

00:12:34.000 See, here's the thing.

00:12:34.000 They don't have a bogeyman anymore.

00:12:35.000 Trump is gone.

00:12:36.000 So this means they have to find another bogeyman.

00:12:38.000 It ain't gonna work.

00:12:39.000 It ain't gonna work.

00:12:40.000 At a certain point, you have control of all of the aspects of American government.

00:12:44.000 You are now responsible.

00:12:45.000 You spent years claiming that Donald Trump was evil for keeping kids in cages.

00:12:50.000 You've got a multiple of the number of kids in cages now that you did when Donald Trump left office.

00:12:55.000 So, explain yourself.

00:12:56.000 Provide a plan.

00:12:57.000 But there ain't no plan, according to the Washington Post.

00:13:00.000 Shortly before Christmas last year, Susan Rice and Jake Sullivan, the two top advisors to President-elect Joe Biden, sat for an interview with EFE, a Spanish wire service to issue a stark warning to migrants considering journeying north to the nation's southern border.

00:13:12.000 Don't come now, but help is on the way.

00:13:14.000 The next day, Biden was similarly pointed, saying his administration, while eager to roll back Donald Trump's immigration policies, first needed to implement guardrails to avoid winding up with two million people on our border.

00:13:22.000 Less than a month later, The new president began tearing down some of the guardrails himself.

00:13:26.000 He issued five immigration executive orders on Inauguration Day alone, promised an immigration policy far more humane and welcoming than that of his predecessor.

00:13:33.000 His administration also began allowing unaccompanied minors into the country, a marked departure from the Trump administration's approach.

00:13:39.000 Now, the Biden administration is scrambling to control the biggest surge in 20 years.

00:13:45.000 20 years.

00:13:46.000 With the nation on pace for as many as 2 million migrants at the southern border this year, the outcome Biden said he wanted to avoid.

00:13:53.000 The situation at the border, which Biden and his advisors steadfastly refused to call a crisis, is the result of an administration that was forewarned of the coming surge, yet still ill-prepared and lacking the capacity to deal with it.

00:14:04.000 Administration officials have been plagued by muddled messaging, sometimes making appeals that seem directed at more liberal activists than the migrants they need to dissuade from coming to the country. And there it is. There it is.

00:14:13.000 It's not about helping the American people.

00:14:15.000 It is not even about helping the migrants.

00:14:16.000 It is simply about pleasing the left base because the left base is the media.

00:14:20.000 And if the left base is the media, they will constantly defend no matter what Joe Biden does.

00:14:23.000 The man can fall down flights of stairs.

00:14:25.000 The man can have a massive migrant crisis on the border with two million people slated to arrive this year. 1.00

00:14:29.000 And the entire media will continue to massage his ass because all he does is speak the language of the vocabulary. 0.99

00:14:34.000 That's all that matters. 0.99

00:14:36.000 All that matters is the language that you speak and you will get Soft treatment from everybody on the left side of the aisle.

00:14:42.000 Don't worry.

00:14:43.000 He's a transformative president.

00:14:44.000 Maureen Dowd assures us he is transformative.

00:14:46.000 He's a magical, magical man.

00:14:48.000 Why?

00:14:48.000 Because he says all the right things.

00:14:50.000 You don't have to worry about the fact that his fiscal policy makes no sense.

00:14:52.000 You don't have to worry about the fact we're about to experience a migrant crisis on the border.

00:14:55.000 Actually, we're already experiencing that.

00:14:57.000 It doesn't matter that the man is not with us.

00:14:59.000 It does not matter.

00:15:00.000 That the man is essentially a houseplant hiding the water stains.

00:15:03.000 All that matters is that Joe Biden says the right things when he's capable of speech coming out of his face, and when he says those things, you are supposed to simply repeat and believe them.

00:15:12.000 That's all.

00:15:14.000 Joe Biden and his administration, by the way, are going around saying that the massive upswell of people arriving at the border has nothing to do with Joe Biden.

00:15:20.000 Weird, because you might want to ask about the illegal immigrants about that. 1.00

00:15:22.000 Here's one illegal immigrant talking to Martha Raddatz saying, um, yeah, we wouldn't have tried to come when Trump was president.

00:15:27.000 We waited for Biden to be president.

00:15:29.000 Would you have tried to do this when Donald Trump was president?

00:15:34.000 Definitely not.

00:15:36.000 Definitely.

00:15:36.000 We had the chance, you know, the same violence that is going on today was there last year.

00:15:42.000 We used to watch the news and I definitely won't do this.

00:15:48.000 So did you come here because Joe Biden was elected president?

00:15:52.000 Basically.

00:15:53.000 Basically.

00:15:55.000 The main thing was the violence in my country.

00:15:58.000 And the second thing I think was Joe Biden.

00:16:00.000 Okay, look at Martha Raddatz. 1.00

00:16:02.000 Like, oh God, that was not the answer I wanted to this particular question over on ABC News.

00:16:07.000 In an ABC News interview last week, Biden said, no, they're not coming because I'm a nice guy, but that was your entire pitch.

00:16:12.000 You were the empath in chief, right?

00:16:14.000 You were the most empathetic person who would ever occupy.

00:16:16.000 You were the guy who was going to mourn with us and you were going to cry with us.

00:16:20.000 And you were going to show the world the heart of America.

00:16:22.000 Yeah, you showed us.

00:16:22.000 You showed everybody.

00:16:23.000 And now everybody's arriving because they think that what you said, they took it seriously.

00:16:27.000 It turns out they took you seriously and literally.

00:16:30.000 Wow.

00:16:31.000 Wow.

00:16:31.000 So the Democrats are now playing the game that Trump played for a while.

00:16:34.000 Right.

00:16:34.000 Which is take him seriously, but not literally.

00:16:36.000 And the Democrats always said people take him seriously and literally, which actually wasn't true of Trump.

00:16:40.000 Most people just took him seriously, but not literally because he wasn't considered a quote-unquote serious person.

00:16:44.000 But Joe Biden is considered a serious person, which means people are taking him both seriously and literally as well.

00:16:50.000 So who are you going to believe?

00:16:51.000 The illegal immigrant who actually tells Martha Raddatz I came because of Biden?

00:16:54.000 Or the DHS secretary who says, listen, our messages don't come.

00:16:57.000 No one believes that's their message.

00:16:59.000 He literally said last week.

00:17:00.000 He said last week, if you are a migrant and you arrive, you will not be sent home.

00:17:04.000 If you're a migrant child, you will not be sent home, is what Mayorkas said last week.

00:17:07.000 Here is Alejandro Mayorkas talking to Dana Bash on CNN.

00:17:11.000 We have communicated and we will continue to communicate to the children.

00:17:15.000 Do not come.

00:17:17.000 I was going to mention but a minute ago that we encountered three children under the ages of 10, three siblings, whose mother was murdered during the journey.

00:17:30.000 Do not come.

00:17:31.000 Give us the time to build an orderly system that will enable you to make your claim under United States law without taking the journey and imperiling your lives.

00:17:44.000 Or they could come now because they don't trust you and they figure that if they come right now you will just let them in.

00:17:48.000 Why do you think all these unaccompanied minors are arriving at the border?

00:17:51.000 Why aren't they accompanied?

00:17:53.000 Who sends their kids out there? 1.00

00:17:54.000 Unless they believe that the kids are going to be allowed into the country and then they will be used as an anchor in order for them to bring their parents over, which we all know is what this is really all about.

00:18:02.000 By the way, don't worry, the Biden administration isn't letting in the media either.

00:18:04.000 Mayorkas says, you know, the media can't come because of COVID.

00:18:07.000 Oh, weird, because if Trump had said this, you know what you guys would have said?

00:18:10.000 You would have said that this is a fascistic tactic directed at limiting the amount of information available to the American public.

00:18:16.000 And yet here you guys are saying that the media can't show up because of COVID.

00:18:21.000 We are in the midst of a pandemic.

00:18:24.000 We are dealing with crowded Border Patrol facilities.

00:18:28.000 We are focused on our operations and the needs of the children.

00:18:32.000 And at the same time, we are working to provide access to those Border Patrol facilities when we can do so in a safe manner.

00:18:41.000 Bullcrap. 0.98

00:18:42.000 And everybody knows it's bullcrap. 0.68

00:18:44.000 By the way, Fox News now reporting that a senior source from Customs and Border Protection says a plan is under consideration for Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley sector to begin releasing illegal border crossers who claim asylum without even issuing a notice to appear.

00:18:57.000 Meaning they disappear, they just disappear.

00:19:00.000 They can depart custody, no court date.

00:19:02.000 So normally, when you show up and you claim asylum, under our dumb system, we don't even hold you until your asylum court date.

00:19:08.000 Instead, we issue you a notice to appear.

00:19:10.000 The majority of people who get that notice to appear show up because they recognize that if they show up for the first appointment, then there's usually a second appointment, and then many of them don't show up for the second appointment.

00:19:18.000 But!

00:19:19.000 Now they're telling people, we're not even going to give you a notice to appear.

00:19:23.000 You have to initiate the notice to appear.

00:19:25.000 How many people do you think are going to initiate the notice to appear?

00:19:27.000 How many people who disrespect America's immigration laws to the extent they just cross the border are going to come into the country and then say, you know what?

00:19:33.000 I really didn't fill out that DMV form.

00:19:34.000 I'm going to head on over and I'm going to set up a notice to appear.

00:19:38.000 Sure.

00:19:40.000 The source says the reasoning for the decision is that the situation has become so dire that Border Patrol has no choice but to release people nearly immediately after apprehension because there's no space to hold people even to do the necessary notice to appear paperwork.

00:19:54.000 The process of issuing each migrant an NTA can take hours per individual or family.

00:19:58.000 This would not apply to unaccompanied minors.

00:20:01.000 Right now, the Rio Grande Valley is ground zero for the surge in border crossings.

00:20:05.000 They're currently at more than 700% overcapacity.

00:20:09.000 Don't worry, guys, everything is fine because Joe Biden says equity a lot and barely talks and stumbles downstairs.

00:20:15.000 He's a nice man.

00:20:15.000 Everything is fine.

00:20:16.000 And because he's a nice man, we don't care whether he is good at his job or not.

00:20:20.000 We don't care whether a crisis that was it appears that it was essentially mitigated over the past couple of years because Trump said mean things about immigrants.

00:20:26.000 This seems to be the main pitch.

00:20:28.000 OK, so let me ask you a question.

00:20:30.000 If you have a choice between a president who says, we don't want you here, don't come, get out, which is language I'm not totally in love with.

00:20:38.000 And we don't have a crisis at our border, and a president who says, we love you, come on in, and then we get a crisis at our border?

00:20:44.000 You know what I care about from the president?

00:20:46.000 Not his feels.

00:20:47.000 I care about the policy that he implements.

00:20:49.000 If you're looking for feeling your feelings and a president of the United States, get a dog.

00:20:53.000 In a second, we're going to be talking about President Biden's economic policy because we're about to blow out the U.S.

00:20:58.000 But again, all of this is fine because he's a nice man.

00:20:58.000 dollar.

00:21:00.000 That's all that matters.

00:21:02.000 First, let's talk about the fact that the post office is a great place.

00:21:04.000 You can get a lot of stuff done there, but do you really want to go there?

00:21:07.000 Why wouldn't you just use all the amazing services of the post office, you know, like at your house or at your business?

00:21:12.000 Let's face it, taking trips to the post office is probably not how you want to spend your time.

00:22:23.000 Stamps.com, never go to the post office again.

00:22:25.000 Alrighty, so meanwhile, inflation.

00:22:29.000 According to Bloomberg.com, columnist John Authors, Let's make a big assumption.

00:22:35.000 We really are in the process of not only a great shift toward reflation, but toward a new inflationary regime.

00:22:40.000 What is this like?

00:22:41.000 How can we tell?

00:22:41.000 What does the future hold?

00:22:43.000 If you want to argue for a new inflationary paradigm, there's plenty of evidence.

00:22:46.000 This week's U.S.

00:22:46.000 Purchasing Manager surveys found prices in both the manufacturing and services sector at their highest levels since the eve of the global financial crisis and rising fast.

00:22:55.000 These have been good leading indicators of inflation in the past.

00:22:58.000 In other words, prices are going up radically, which is not a shock because people have a bunch more dollars that have been blown out by the federal government.

00:23:04.000 By the way, you didn't need $2 trillion spent.

00:23:06.000 The pandemic is ending.

00:23:07.000 We all know that the pandemic is ending.

00:23:09.000 In fact, we'll get to that in just a little while.

00:23:10.000 Meanwhile, bond yields climb sharply around the world while yield curves steepen.

00:23:15.000 Bond yields increase when people don't want American bonds.

00:23:18.000 People don't want American bonds because they're afraid they're going to get paid back in inflated dollars.

00:23:22.000 In the U.S., the spread between two and 10-year yields is the widest in more than five years, barring only a few days after the election of Donald Trump in late 2016.

00:23:31.000 Politicians strengthened traders' convictions.

00:23:33.000 Wednesday's annual U.K.

00:23:34.000 budget, which saw promise of even more aggressive spending, suggested that fiscal and monetary policy will at last act in unison.

00:23:39.000 Within the stock market, banks extended their outperformance of technology stocks.

00:23:43.000 Since the start of September, banks have outperformed by almost 50 percent.

00:23:48.000 For four decades, inflation has stayed low and under control, while bond yields have declined.

00:23:51.000 Even with the sharp moves of the last few months, these trends remain intact.

00:23:54.000 Many forces for deflation or disinflation also remain in place.

00:23:57.000 Workplace automation continues, reducing prices and the bargaining power of labor.

00:24:01.000 But what we could be looking at is a regime change in real time.

00:24:06.000 We could be looking at a massive inflation.

00:24:10.000 Theodore White wrote a book called America in Search of Itself.

00:24:15.000 And this is kind of what we are looking at right now.

00:24:17.000 He said, inflation has no date of beginning.

00:24:18.000 Inflation is the cancer of modern civilization, the leukemia of planning and hope.

00:24:22.000 As with all cancers, no one can say when it begins or how fast it may spread.

00:24:25.000 It's a disease of money.

00:24:26.000 When money goes, order goes with it.

00:24:28.000 Inflation comes when a government has made too many promises it cannot keep and papers over the shortfall with currency, which ultimately becomes confetti and faith is lost.

00:24:35.000 Okay, and this is kind of what we are looking at right now.

00:24:39.000 Inflation psychology is difficult to change, but last year might do the job.

00:24:44.000 And what we are looking at right now, again is that inflation is going to pop.

00:24:49.000 It is just going to happen.

00:24:51.000 Lawrence Summers, the former Treasury Secretary under Bill Clinton, he says this is the least responsible fiscal policy we have had in four decades, in 40 years, which would take you back to, count it, count it, the 70s.

00:25:01.000 It would take you back to, essentially, 1970, which is when inflation started to run out of control.

00:25:06.000 By the end of the decade, you had serious stagflation, in which the economy stagnated because demand started to decrease, but inflation continued to rise.

00:25:14.000 I think this is the least responsible macroeconomic policies we've had in the last 40 years.

00:25:23.000 I think fundamentally it's driven by intransigence on the Democratic left and intransigence and completely unreasonable behavior in the whole of the Republican Party.

00:25:38.000 It's driven us to the kind of political deals that we're seeing.

00:25:44.000 Okay, so I love that he somehow finds a way to blame the Republicans for a $2 trillion bill that was passed only by Democrats.

00:25:49.000 That's pretty impressive stuff right there.

00:25:52.000 Okay, the Republicans offered a deal right there.

00:25:53.000 Look, Summers is a Democrat, so of course he's gonna try to find a way to blame the Republicans.

00:25:56.000 We have, on this issue, zero power in Congress.

00:26:00.000 None.

00:26:00.000 Alright, this thing was passed with, like, a vote from the Republicans in the House and none in the Senate.

00:26:05.000 And yet somehow, Summers is finding a way to blame the Republicans for it.

00:26:07.000 This ain't about the Republicans.

00:26:08.000 This is about Democrats blowing out the dollar because they wish to pay you with dollars that do not yet exist so they can make you more dependent on government.

00:26:15.000 And then the answer from Democrats to every problem is more government.

00:26:18.000 So when the economy fails in maybe three years, then you're going to see them claim that what we need is another bound of spending.

00:26:23.000 We need another bout of spending.

00:26:25.000 We need higher taxes.

00:26:27.000 Hey, all of this is bad policy, and it's going to have ramifications.

00:26:29.000 Now, think about fiscal policies.

00:26:31.000 It takes a little while to materialize.

00:26:32.000 Immigration policy materializes like that.

00:26:34.000 The minute you say the border's open, people rush it.

00:26:36.000 But inflation policy takes a couple of years to materialize, especially when you have an artificial depression that was created by COVID beginning to alleviate.

00:26:43.000 And so that means that you're going to have high demand coming out of this depression.

00:26:47.000 And then what you're going to see is high growth rates that are tamped down slightly by inflation, tamped down Slightly by increased taxes.

00:26:54.000 And then a couple of years down the road, when it turns out that we've blown so much air into the dollar, that the dollar is worth a lot less and people don't have savings, and then the demand crashes, then you're going to see a serious economic problem.

00:27:04.000 It's not going to happen this year.

00:27:05.000 It's not going to happen next year.

00:27:06.000 It may not happen the following year.

00:27:07.000 Probably by the time you hit 2024, you're going to be looking at a pretty serious economic downturn.

00:27:14.000 Okay, but all of this is okay, because we're just rethinking the nature of the relationship between government and the American people.

00:27:20.000 And the media are fully complicit in this, because no matter what Joe Biden does, he is always just going to claim that everything is about equity.

00:27:26.000 Again, recognize the gap between the policy, which is bad, and the rhetoric, which is exactly what the media want to hear, and what so many people want to hear these days, which is the government is going to solve all your problems.

00:27:37.000 Joe Biden is here to tell you that the era of small government is over.

00:27:42.000 Okay, the era of small government lasted basically from Reagan all the way probably until the beginning couple years of Barack Obama.

00:27:50.000 Even Obama in 2004 and even in 2008 used to talk about how the government was not there to solve all your problems.

00:27:54.000 By 2012, he was saying the government is the only thing we share.

00:27:56.000 So really by 2012, the era of small government was over.

00:27:59.000 When we were spending $4 trillion a year, but now, rhetorically speaking and overtly speaking, the era of small government is over.

00:28:05.000 Joe Biden, the Democratic Party, they would love to completely rethink the nature of the relationship between government and the American people.

00:28:11.000 Government is not only there to solve all of your personal problems, government is there to solve all cosmic problems.

00:28:17.000 And our media are fully complicit in this.

00:28:19.000 They love this idea, which is why they are now turning over the keys to the car to grifters like Ibram X. Kendi.

00:28:23.000 You have to understand how all this ties together.

00:28:27.000 Ibram X. Kendi is the guy who says that racism just means stuff he disagrees with.

00:28:31.000 Racism is any system that ends with inequality of outcome.

00:28:35.000 Any system that ends with inequality of outcome is shot through with racism because otherwise you would be suggesting the inherent inequality of human beings.

00:28:41.000 Now here's the reality.

00:28:43.000 Human beings make unequal decisions all the time.

00:28:46.000 Human beings also have different qualities. 1.00

00:28:48.000 Some of us are stupider. 1.00

00:28:49.000 Some of us are smarter. 1.00

00:28:49.000 Some of us are stronger. 1.00

00:28:50.000 Some of us are weaker.

00:28:51.000 Some of us are taller.

00:28:52.000 Right?

00:28:52.000 Some of us are me.

00:28:52.000 I mean, the reality is that we all have different qualities, and those manifest in our behaviors, and our decisions manifest in our behaviors, and that creates differential outcome, even in a free and open system.

00:29:02.000 And there are things that we can do to make sure that everybody has an easier shot at getting ahead, but the notion that you can pick and choose the winners and losers, that is, in and of itself, inequitable.

00:29:12.000 It is unfair.

00:29:14.000 But the left's version of inequitable is, we can just see from the results that the system itself is broken, and therefore, Ibram X. Kendi gets to dictate to everyone how the system should work so as to achieve a completely equal outcome.

00:29:27.000 Ibram X. Kendi is an ideological fascist.

00:29:28.000 He has openly said that he wants a department of anti-racism inside the United States government answerable to no elected body of Americans.

00:29:36.000 That is, created in order to strike down any law, regulation, or policy at the state, local, or federal level that does not achieve equality of outcome.

00:29:45.000 Which is just called the fascist regime.

00:29:47.000 Now, Ibram X. Kendi is being handed the keys to the car over at the Boston Globes.

00:29:50.000 You already have the pseudo-historian and fiction writer, Nikole Hannah-Jones, heading up editorial coverage at the New York Times.

00:29:57.000 Now, you have Ibram Kendi, who is a grifter of extraordinary, extraordinary rank.

00:30:04.000 Over at the Boston Globe, Ben Smith writes about this today.

00:30:07.000 Okay, again, Ibram Kendi.

00:30:08.000 Dr. Kendi and Bina Venkataraman met last summer when their big Boston institutions, Boston University and the Boston Globe were grappling with protests over racial justice.

00:30:18.000 Ms. Venkataraman, the editor of the Boston Globe's editorial page asked Dr. Kendi, Dr. Kendi, okay, again, Ibram Kendi, in the same way that Dr. Joe Biden will heal you with a junior college degree, Dr. Kendi, who has no medical degree or really any degree of any worth in my view.

00:30:35.000 He is going to prescribe racial equity for your heart attack.

00:30:41.000 He's the author of a book called How to Be an Antiracist, which is an extremely racist book.

00:30:45.000 Venkataraman, I'm just gonna keep screwing up this name, is gonna ask Kendi why he decided to found the Center for Anti-Racist Research, which, by the way, is this giant catch-all for corporations to just sign a check, right?

00:30:56.000 Twitter's Jack Dorsey signed a $10 million check to Kendi's Center for Anti-Racist Research, which has generated, to this point, zero actual research, so far as I'm aware.

00:31:07.000 Okay, so the editor of the Globe's editorial page asked Kendi why he decided to found the Center for Anti-Racist Research in a city known for the backlash to busing and quote, where sports fans boo athletes of colors, she recalled in an interview.

00:31:19.000 They started talking about their shared obsession with different Boston history, 19th century abolitionist newspapers.

00:31:24.000 Then they wondered what it would mean to found in 2021, a newspaper in the spirit of William Lloyd Garrison's legendary The Liberator.

00:31:31.000 Well, I mean, what it might mean is that you want the races to be treated the same, I mean, that's what The Liberator was about.

00:31:38.000 It was an anti-slavery newspaper.

00:31:41.000 I really doubt that William Lloyd Garrison was desperate to segregate the races and then treat them by race, the way that Ibram Kendi wants that to happen.

00:31:49.000 But in any case, The New York Times reports, Ben Smith, in particular, they wonder what would it mean to bring to American racism the same sense of urgency with which Garrison in 1831 started in the newspaper, abandoning a more gradualist approach to slavery.

00:32:02.000 Now with the backing of their institutions and a seven-figure budget, millions of bucks, they plan later this year to start an online publication that blends reportage, opinion, and academic research, some of which will appear in The Globe.

00:32:13.000 Look at that, they're just going to create a partnership where the Globe is taken over by Ibram Kendi.

00:32:16.000 They hope to revive the tradition of a generation of media that predates the formal division of news and opinion in 20th century American journalism.

00:32:22.000 Funny how it's fine when it's on the left.

00:32:24.000 If we hit the daily wire to it, by the way, right, we openly say we're a conservative publication, a conservative news organization, then we get hit with fact checks.

00:32:30.000 But if Ibram Kendi takes over the editorial page of the Boston Globe or starts a new journalistic enterprise that blends news and opinion, that's totally cool and worth celebrating.

00:32:39.000 They want to channel the energy that has produced a year of newsroom conversations and arguments about racism.

00:32:45.000 Ms.

00:32:46.000 Venkataraman said in an interview, if you don't have people agitating for urgent change, it becomes easy to just turn to other problems.

00:32:51.000 And I think that's sort of an inspiring framework for thinking about why you need a publication or platform like this now, because you need to keep it on people's minds, the past, past the news cycle.

00:33:00.000 This, of course, is not a simple project.

00:33:01.000 The politics of the two venerable institutions means the new publication will be hiring two editors-in-chief, one with more academic bent and one more journalistic, amid a national scramble for editorial talent.

00:33:11.000 The founders said they'd have preliminary conversations with CBS's Wesley Lowry.

00:33:15.000 Of course they talked with Wesley Lowry.

00:33:16.000 Lowry is the former Washington Post reporter who has basically argued in favor of the complete abolition of journalistic integrity.

00:33:23.000 It's really exciting stuff.

00:33:26.000 The project has backing from the University and newspapers.

00:33:28.000 So BU is going to be spending money on it.

00:33:31.000 And the Boston Globe is going to be spending money on it.

00:33:34.000 And then there's the matter of the name.

00:33:36.000 A Christian nonprofit already trademarked the Liberator.

00:33:38.000 So they are looking at the Emancipator.

00:33:42.000 But how are they going to use the word racism?

00:33:44.000 Should it be reserved for Nazis and Klansmen and used with extreme caution?

00:33:47.000 Or should it be applied, as a new generation of writers have argued, to daily features of American injustice?

00:33:52.000 Dr. Kendi has played a central role in the debate with his 2019 book.

00:33:56.000 Dr. Kendi said, if there was ever a body of people who should be arguing out of the definition of a term, particularly a seemingly politically charged term like racism, why would it not be journalists?

00:34:05.000 They should define the term based on evidence.

00:34:07.000 So he just wants his newspaper, backed by the Boston Globe, to just say that anything is racist that Kendi declares is racist.

00:34:16.000 Very exciting stuff.

00:34:18.000 Really great.

00:34:20.000 Self-promotion doesn't come naturally to Dr. Kendi, says Ben Smith.

00:34:23.000 Oh, is that right?

00:34:25.000 Dr. Kendi said he would not police how people use his work.

00:34:27.000 People should be held accountable when they're being racist.

00:34:29.000 But I think people should be able to repair the damage.

00:34:31.000 I don't view racist as a fixed category.

00:34:33.000 He added he does not believe if someone said something racist 20 years ago or even two days ago, right now, in this moment, they're also racist.

00:34:39.000 That's a lie.

00:34:40.000 It's just that he doesn't want this term applied to any of his friends.

00:34:44.000 Okay, so, are journalistic institutions taken over by Wolkeri?

00:34:48.000 The Biden administration driven by Wolkeri?

00:34:51.000 And the narratives converge.

00:34:53.000 And so that means that all of this is secondary.

00:34:55.000 Understand, the job of Democrats in government is not to create more prosperity.

00:34:59.000 The job of Democrats in government is not to create more safety.

00:35:02.000 The job of Democrats in government is the quest for cosmic justice, as Thomas Sowell put it, to completely rethink the nature of individualism in America and meritocracy in America.

00:35:10.000 And if they have to wreck the dollar in order to do so, that's okay.

00:35:12.000 And if they have to wreck the border in order to do so, that's also okay.

00:35:15.000 So long as you learn the lessons that you must be taught about social justice and group dynamics and the reality of America's institutionally racist institutions, everything can be torn down to the root.

00:35:26.000 And meanwhile, Joe Biden will provide a happy face on it because he's the empath in chief.

00:35:29.000 That's the game here.

00:38:02.000 You get 25% off.

00:38:03.000 It's an amazing deal.

00:38:04.000 You're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.

00:38:07.000 So the goal for so much of today's American left, Democratic Party, the mainstream media, their goal is to completely ignore individual liberty, ignore individual rights, and to remake the country how they wish it were.

00:38:24.000 Right?

00:38:24.000 Results-oriented.

00:38:25.000 That's all that matters.

00:38:26.000 But not results as in additional prosperity for everybody.

00:38:29.000 Results as in equity.

00:38:31.000 Results as indignity, and by dignity what they mean is forcing you to cheerlead for everybody else's self-identification no matter how ridiculous, and freedom, freedom to identify however you want without any consequences for the decisions you make.

00:38:44.000 And this means twisting every narrative.

00:38:46.000 Every narrative must be twisted. 1.00

00:38:47.000 This is how a white guy Shooting up a bunch of Asian massage parlors because, according to him, he is a sex addict. 0.99

00:38:55.000 This is the best available evidence at this point. 0.95

00:38:57.000 The feds are investigating also.

00:38:58.000 No evidence as of yet that this is a quote-unquote hate crime that was specifically designed at targeting Asians or that had anything to do with Trump or that had anything to do with the Chinese virus or anything like that.

00:39:08.000 Hey, the media have decided what the narrative is, and the narrative is that this is indicative of deeper American racism, because when you are attempting to remake the world, every single piece of data must either be ignored or transmuted into a weapon for tearing down the existing system.

00:39:21.000 This is how you end up with the narrative.

00:39:22.000 This is the narrative, but if you ask, if you polled Americans right now, do you think what happened in Atlanta was a hate crime?

00:39:26.000 I guarantee you the vast majority will say yes, despite the fact that there is no evidence at this point it was a hate crime.

00:39:31.000 It may have been a hate crime, but you don't know that, and I don't know that, and all that matters is that the media certainly don't know that, and they are lying to you about how they do know that.

00:39:38.000 So, for example, you have Nancy Grace saying about Atlanta, it was a hate crime against women, sex workers, and Asians. 0.97

00:39:43.000 Okay, how about this?

00:39:44.000 How about every single crime is a crime of hate in some way?

00:39:47.000 But you have no evidence that this was specifically designed to target Asian people, certainly not on the back of what the left has said, that this is about a wide anti-Asian upsurge among right-wingers.

00:39:55.000 Okay, the reality is that the vast majority of upswing against violent crime against Asian Americans is happening in major cities not dominated by right-wingers.

00:40:04.000 And according to anecdotal reports, disproportionately from members of the black community, unfortunately.

00:40:10.000 Anyway, here's Nancy Grace trying to push that narrative. 0.99

00:40:13.000 I think that most of these women, I mean, Jessie, let's get real. 1.00

00:40:15.000 You think these women want to work in a massage parlor, turning sex acts in the back room with baby lotion heated up on the side of the bed? 1.00

00:40:24.000 No. 0.98

00:40:24.000 That's not what they want. 0.98

00:40:26.000 A lot of them can't even speak English.

00:40:28.000 They can't make a better living.

00:40:29.000 They're kind of forced socioeconomically into this. 0.82

00:40:33.000 Now, they're shot dead. 0.97

00:40:36.000 This is a hate crime for sure against women, against sex workers, against Asians. 0.83

00:40:42.000 Okay, again, the broader narrative that it's about Asian Americans and that this shooting was about that, it may very well have been.

00:40:49.000 But let's be real about this.

00:40:50.000 When it comes to the Democratic Party, certain types of racism against Asians are completely okay. 0.97

00:40:55.000 It is only in the aftermath of this particular shooting, by the way, when the Democrats are trying to say that they are against anti-Asian hate, that they've decided, oh, it's a little inconvenient to have members of the publicly elected sector who openly hate Asians.

00:41:09.000 So San Francisco officials, according to the Daily Wire, including Mayor London Breed, are now calling on the vice president of the San Francisco school board, Allison Collins, Now let's be real about this.

00:41:17.000 This is something that is a mainstream thought on the left.

00:41:18.000 quote, anti-Asian bias.

00:41:20.000 The shocking tweets show Collins accusing Asians of adopting quote, white supremacist ideology and of working to become model minorities in order to take advantage of a white supremacist system that she claims is typically biased against people of color.

00:41:30.000 Now let's be real about this.

00:41:31.000 This is something that is a mainstream thought on the left.

00:41:33.000 Many people on the left do not consider Asian-Americans to be a minority in the United States and therefore subjected to hate because they're the most successful subgroup of Americans in terms of household income.

00:41:43.000 And that is because there's extraordinary cultural value placed on hard work and working toward testing And this has been ingrained for centuries in particular cultures, according to Wesley Yang.

00:41:53.000 So the insanity of declaring that Asians are basically white because they decided to take advantage of the white supremacist systems of the United States to succeed.

00:42:02.000 All that is is just, again, a reinforcement of the notion that America's systems are inherently racist.

00:42:08.000 So America's systems are inherently racist when Asian Americans succeed, and America's systems are also inherently racist when Asian Americans are disproportionately targeted on the streets. 0.85

00:42:17.000 Amazing how no matter what the antecedent, no matter what the predicate, the conclusion is always the same.

00:42:23.000 America is systemically racist.

00:42:25.000 And this allows you to engage in the sort of remaking of the world that the left really wants. 0.78

00:42:30.000 So in Evanston, Illinois, according to Reuters, There's a Chicago suburb that now is going to pay reparations to black Americans.

00:42:37.000 Evanston's initial approach to reparations is narrow and targeted.

00:42:39.000 The city council, which has already committed $10 million over a decade to the effort, will vote on Monday to begin with a $400,000 round of payments.

00:42:46.000 The first phase will provide $25,000 to a small number of eligible black residents for home repairs, down payments or mortgage payments, and a nod toward historically racist housing policies.

00:42:54.000 Now, do they have to prove that these people were actually victimized by the racist housing policies?

00:42:59.000 Because some of these people, I'm sure, are very young.

00:43:00.000 Some of these people were probably born in 2000, right?

00:43:03.000 At which point, segregation in the United States had been federally illegal for 35 years.

00:43:09.000 In Congress, a bill that would establish a National Reparations Commission to study the issue has drawn 170 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives.

00:43:17.000 Other cities, including Chicago, Providence, Rhode Island, Burlington, Vermont, Asheville, and Amherst, Massachusetts, have launched initiatives.

00:43:23.000 California passed a bill modeled after the federal legislation.

00:43:25.000 New York and Maryland are introducing similar measures.

00:43:29.000 The practicality of implementing reparations programs is still a matter of debate.

00:43:32.000 Well, first of all, how about the legality of saying that you get money if you are of a particular race?

00:43:36.000 This is precisely the opposite of equal opportunity based on race.

00:43:39.000 Treating people as individuals requires that you don't look at their melanin level and then make financial decisions as a government based on that.

00:43:45.000 And yet that is precisely what these governments are now doing.

00:43:49.000 In Evanston, black residents are eligible for the housing program if they or their ancestors lived in the city between 1919 and 1969, or if they can show they suffered housing discrimination due to the city's policies.

00:43:59.000 The recipients will be randomly selected if there are more applicants than available funds in the housing program.

00:44:05.000 Some people are saying it's inadequate.

00:44:07.000 Some people are saying it's not gonna be, and it will never be enough.

00:44:09.000 No matter what the reparations program is that is adopted, on both a moral level and a fiscal level, it's not gonna be enough.

00:44:15.000 Because if you say, give everybody $100,000, people are gonna say, for 400 years of slavery?

00:44:19.000 How can $100,000 pay for that?

00:44:20.000 It'll just turn into a permanent government check signing program, which is, of course, on the basis of race, which is precisely the reverse of what federal law allows.

00:44:29.000 But this is the remaking of America, in real time, on the basis of equity rhetoric, that is essentially unfair.

00:44:37.000 That is the goal.

00:44:38.000 And if you don't go along with it, you will be cudgeled.

00:44:41.000 If you refuse to go along with this stuff, you will be cudgeled.

00:44:43.000 The media will simply lie to you.

00:44:46.000 And when I talk about the cudgeling, Let's talk about the cuddling for a moment.

00:44:50.000 So, over the weekend, in what has to be the most amusing turn, you remember that Alexi McCammon was going to be the editor of Teen Vogue, that great prestigious publication Teen Vogue.

00:45:03.000 Not just Vogue, Teen Vogue.

00:45:06.000 Well, now it turns out that one of the people who backed Alexi McCammon's ouster, a senior Teen Vogue staffer, Alexi McCammon was thrown out because Alexi McCammon, when she was 17, wrote anti-Asian tweets.

00:45:16.000 That was a decade ago.

00:45:18.000 Now, a senior Teen Vogue staffer who backed Alexei McCammon being fired, it turns out that this lady wrote a bunch of tweets back in 2009-2010 using the n-word.

00:45:31.000 Christine Davitt, senior social manager at Teen Vogue in 2009, wrote two tweets to a friend identifying him as a N-I-G-G-A and in 2010 used that word in a joke tweet.

00:45:41.000 The friend appears to be white.

00:45:43.000 Davitt says in multiple tweets she has a mixed Irish and Filipino heritage.

00:45:48.000 So, not a black person, so you don't get to use these sorts of terms, right?

00:45:51.000 McCammon, 27, and a rising reporter at Axios have been set to take the top job at Teen Vogue before her past tweets set off a firestorm among Teen Vogue staff. 0.94

00:45:58.000 After the Atlanta shooting left Asian Americans dead, McCammon and Teen Vogue parted ways.

00:46:05.000 Neither Davitt nor McCammon or Teen Vogue could immediately be reached for comment.

00:46:09.000 David on March 8th posted a letter on Instagram from Teen Vogue staff expressing concern to Condon Ast about hiring McCammon, quote, in light of her past racist and homophobic tweets.

00:46:17.000 So proud of my Teen Vogue colleagues.

00:46:19.000 The work continues, David wrote in the caption.

00:46:22.000 Okay, so here's the funny part.

00:46:24.000 Okay, after Alexi McCammon got fired, and many of us on the right have defended many people on the left from firing and people on the right from firing, because it turns out that a culture in which you can just uncover anybody who's old tweets and then use it to wreck their career is an ugly and gross culture.

00:46:38.000 It's not about purity.

00:46:38.000 It's not about making the world better.

00:46:40.000 Now, the left is getting upset at cancel culture.

00:46:42.000 Now the left is getting upset.

00:46:43.000 Why?

00:46:44.000 Because they like Alexi McCammond.

00:46:45.000 Because Alexi McCammond is on the left.

00:46:47.000 So Brian Stelter, who has been openly leading a charge to get Fox News thrown off the air by its distributors.

00:46:54.000 Now he's like, you know what?

00:46:55.000 I don't like this purity culture anymore.

00:46:57.000 Oh! 0.60

00:46:58.000 You don't, Brian.

00:46:59.000 Oh, strange.

00:47:00.000 So you're all for the purity culture when it comes for people you don't like, but when it comes for people you do like, then all of a sudden you're upset with the purity culture.

00:47:06.000 Strange how this works on the left.

00:47:09.000 No one wins in the purity wars.

00:47:11.000 No one wins.

00:47:13.000 Of course, no one I know would excuse racist tweets.

00:47:16.000 And almost everyone agrees that we should strive for a more just, equal society.

00:47:20.000 But these internal office battles zap energy away from the real struggle.

00:47:25.000 I mean, no offense to McCammond, but her name should not be on the tips of the media world's tongues.

00:47:32.000 Not for something she did at age 17.

00:47:35.000 So ultimately, Conde Nast failed her.

00:47:38.000 Now the real struggle here, the real struggle is getting Fox News tossed off the air.

00:47:42.000 That's the real struggle, of course.

00:47:44.000 Making sure that everybody that Brian Stelter personally does not like is cancelled.

00:47:49.000 And making sure that everybody that he does like is defended.

00:47:51.000 I happen to agree with him about Alexi McCammond.

00:47:53.000 But the point is this, he doesn't agree with him about Alexi McCammond.

00:47:56.000 He just doesn't like the fact that one of his friends, somebody that he's apparently friendly with or somebody who he agrees with, just got ousted from her job.

00:48:04.000 And here's the thing, the cancellations will continue until the morale improves.

00:48:09.000 It's funny, folks on the right, we have real trouble understanding the left, because we keep looking for the through line.

00:48:14.000 Why is it that Alexi McCammon can get fired, but this Davitt lady probably will not be fired from Teen Vogue?

00:48:19.000 Why is it that Gina Carano can get fired for putting up a meme that included a picture from the Holocaust, but Pedro Pascal puts up a picture from the Holocaust comparing American immigration policy to the Holocaust, based on a picture that was not even from America?

00:48:32.000 And he's fine.

00:48:33.000 Why?

00:48:34.000 And the answer is there is no through line.

00:48:34.000 Where's the through line?

00:48:36.000 It is all about pure use of power.

00:48:38.000 It is all about pure authoritarian use of power.

00:48:40.000 So for example, I don't see Brian Stelter coming out and defending Sharon Osbourne.

00:48:44.000 Sharon Osbourne committed the grave sin of having said that she is friends with Piers Morgan.

00:48:48.000 You're not allowed to do that.

00:48:49.000 Because Piers Morgan said he didn't believe Meghan Markle and you're certainly not allowed to do that because Meghan Markle is now, she's been sainted.

00:48:56.000 They're actually going to build shrines to Meghan Markle now. 0.87

00:48:59.000 So it appears Morgan said he didn't believe Meghan Markle.

00:49:01.000 By the way, for the record, neither do I. I'm the vast majority of what she said.

00:49:04.000 I'm in no position to doubt her personal feelings about suicide.

00:49:07.000 But I don't believe that she was deeply victimized by Buckingham Palace.

00:49:11.000 I don't think that's a reality.

00:49:13.000 I think that she is on the make, as demonstrated by that interview with Oprah, because she's not a very good actress.

00:49:18.000 Piers Morgan said that.

00:49:20.000 Then Sharon Osbourne said, I'm friends with Piers Morgan and he's not a racist.

00:49:23.000 And now she's going to get thrown off the talk.

00:49:25.000 And Tiffany Cross goes after her.

00:49:27.000 So over the weekend, Tiffany Cross on MSNBC starts talking about how evil Sharon Osbourne is. 1.00

00:49:33.000 A message to the biggity Brit Sharon Osbourne.

00:49:37.000 After this read, maybe you should go read, because there are numerous books which greatly detail how some of your ancestors colonized, raped, and pillaged many parts of this globe.

00:49:49.000 And like you told Cheryl, don't cry.

00:49:51.000 We toast those tears and continue to do the work that benefits all people in this country, even those who don't always deserve it.

00:49:59.000 So cheerio, chap, and you're welcome.

00:50:03.000 So dismissive, so derisive, so sneering.

00:50:06.000 But remember, she's of the woke, so she can say whatever she wants.

00:50:09.000 Now, if it turns out she tweeted something bad in the past, she'll be defended because all of this is just a power game.

00:50:14.000 It is all a power game all the time.

00:50:16.000 And when we speak of power games, it's important to note how the media twists every story into this power dynamic.

00:50:23.000 Every story fits within this particular box.

00:50:26.000 How does it fit into the narrative of equity?

00:50:28.000 And how do we avoid, by the way, reporting the real story in order to fit the narrative of equity?

00:50:33.000 Everything is, it's Agenda Uber Alice.

00:50:35.000 It's agenda, agenda, agenda.

00:50:36.000 Narrative and agenda.

00:50:37.000 That's all that matters here.

00:50:39.000 Which is why you saw over the weekend a wide variety of articles about the evils going on in Miami Beach.

00:50:45.000 You saw a bunch of stories about Miami Beach.

00:50:46.000 They're shutting it down because they're afraid of the COVID.

00:50:48.000 They're afraid of the virus.

00:50:49.000 Now, here's the thing.

00:50:50.000 We've been hearing about Death Santas for literally months at this point.

00:50:54.000 Like six, seven, eight months.

00:50:55.000 Going all the way back to the summer.

00:50:57.000 Deathsantis, Ron DeSantis, happens to be the best governor in America for the challenges he faced, considering Florida is super old, and it ranks somewhere in the middle of the pack, like near California, in terms of deaths per million.

00:51:09.000 And all of the stories about how Tampa was gonna be the center of a hotspot, Tampa was gonna be just a COVID hotspot, it was a disaster, it never happened.

00:51:16.000 The beaches at Jacksonville was gonna be a COVID, never happened.

00:51:19.000 Spring break, it's gonna be a COVID, never happened.

00:51:23.000 And so, What was the real story here?

00:51:25.000 So the media didn't even get the story right.

00:51:26.000 Now, they're not just getting the angle wrong, they're just getting the story completely wrong.

00:51:31.000 So the story that you have heard over the weekend is that there is a panic in Florida because of COVID, and that Miami Beach had to shut down because of the COVID risks.

00:51:40.000 That is not why Miami Beach shut down.

00:51:42.000 The reason that Miami Beach is shutting down is because people are committing crimes.

00:51:46.000 There's open fistfights in the streets of Miami Beach.

00:51:50.000 Okay, we are talking about people running up bar tabs of $2,000 and then just running out.

00:51:55.000 Like, just taking off.

00:51:56.000 Okay, and it just so happens, by the way, that these are not spring breakers who are down from university.

00:52:02.000 This is people who are out partying.

00:52:03.000 End of story. 0.95

00:52:05.000 Those people happen to be, according to the Miami Herald, disproportionately black.

00:52:10.000 According to the Miami Herald, Martin Vassallo reporting, after weeks of uninhibited partying on South Beach by spring breakers, police turned away throngs of people, many of them black, from world famous Ocean Drive with a SWAT truck, pepper balls, and sound cannons.

00:52:23.000 The tactics were intended to enforce an 8 p.m.

00:52:25.000 curfew announced only hours earlier on Saturday to rid the city of what police and politicians have described as unruly and sometimes violent late-night crowds.

00:52:32.000 The tactics appeared to have the desired effect, but the use of force to clear out people of color from South Beach alarmed some black leaders.

00:52:39.000 If Miami Beach has openly recoiled at the behavior of the at-times chaotic crowds filling the city's entertainment district every weekend, Not just this weekend, every weekend.

00:52:49.000 Some in South Florida are having a similar reaction to the way the city and its police have handled the presence of thousands of people of color.

00:52:54.000 Hey, so what's the actual story?

00:52:56.000 There are a lot of people of color in South Beach, according to the Miami Herald, and they are engaging in criminal activity resulting in a thousand arrests.

00:53:03.000 By the way, there's plenty of tape that is not being shown in the mainstream media.

00:53:06.000 The mainstream media is showing tapes of people milling around.

00:53:08.000 They're like, this is the real threat.

00:53:09.000 People milling around.

00:53:10.000 That's not why they put a curfew on.

00:53:12.000 They put a curfew on because I've seen tape.

00:53:14.000 People are at intersections, twerking on the streets, and having fistfights.

00:53:17.000 Like, that's why they put a curfew on.

00:53:20.000 And yet the media won't tell you that.

00:53:21.000 They'll tell you about DeSantis.

00:53:23.000 Not about DeSantis! 0.94

00:53:25.000 What the hell are you talking about?

00:53:26.000 You're just lying about the situation there. 0.96

00:53:29.000 Videos on social media showed Miami Beach Police arriving on Ocean Drive Saturday evening to find a massive crowd still on the street after the curfew kicked in.

00:53:35.000 Okay, this is... Again, you can see all the videos.

00:53:42.000 Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber said the curfew and causeway closing announced at 4 p.m.

00:53:46.000 Saturday were aimed to prevent violence and disorder.

00:53:50.000 He described the city as a powder keg ready to blow.

00:53:53.000 Residents cheered the crackdown, some saying they're afraid to leave their homes.

00:53:58.000 So this is not, I'm sorry, this is not about COVID.

00:54:03.000 But if you read the headlines, it's about COVID.

00:54:06.000 Nowhere do the police even cite COVID as a risk. 0.96

00:54:09.000 And yet the idea is that it's about co- This is ridiculous!

00:54:12.000 I'm sorry, it's not- Here's the headline over at Drudge.

00:54:15.000 The top headline right now.

00:54:17.000 And from the Daily Beast.

00:54:18.000 Yeah, that's the big problem is they're not wearing masks.

00:54:22.000 Not the fact they're beating the crap out of each other and engaging in criminal activity in Miami Beach.

00:54:26.000 The problem is they're not wearing masks. 0.91

00:54:29.000 It's absurd!

00:54:30.000 It's just absurd!

00:54:31.000 But again, it has to fit into the narrative.

00:54:34.000 And what's the narrative?

00:54:35.000 The narrative is that black people are being cracked down on by the police, and simultaneously, unrelated, COVID's a real threat. 0.94

00:54:42.000 So they want the two stories simultaneously now.

00:54:44.000 The police are being mean to black Americans, according to the Miami Herald, at a time when the country is undergoing a racial reckoning.

00:54:50.000 The optics of police officers grappling with crowds and city leaders condemning a largely black group of visitors has been unavoidable.

00:54:56.000 Daniela Pierre, president of the NAACP's Miami-Dade Chapter, tweeted, Okay, so again, the problem, of course, is that, so, two simultaneous problems.

00:55:09.000 One, it's all DeSantis, because look at these maskless people.

00:55:13.000 And two, it's the evil police.

00:55:16.000 At no point can you say, oh yeah, maybe there are a bunch of people engaged in criminal activity in downtown, and that's requiring the police to go in.

00:55:21.000 Because that would cut against the exact narrative that they're trying to fight against.

00:55:26.000 Which, by the way, ties into the broader narrative here about COVID.

00:55:29.000 So, they continue to try to panic you about COVID.

00:55:32.000 They just continue to try and panic you about COVID.

00:55:33.000 This is the other narrative.

00:55:35.000 Democrats are going to continue to push the COVID narrative because every crisis is an opportunity.

00:55:39.000 Okay, well, let's just be real about this.

00:55:42.000 We are at the end, okay?

00:55:43.000 We are reaching the end of the pandemic.

00:55:44.000 Every person knows it.

00:55:45.000 It's why you've seen a great opening up.

00:55:47.000 There are more and more solutions being presented every day.

00:55:51.000 According to the Jerusalem Post, an Israeli company is now claiming an oral COVID-19 vaccine is on the way.

00:55:57.000 Apparently, they're launching a Phase 1 clinical trial for what could become the world's first oral COVID-19 vaccine.

00:56:03.000 This is Oramed Pharmaceuticals, a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company based on tech developed by Hadassah University Medical Center.

00:56:08.000 They announced over the weekend a joint venture with Primus Biotech to develop a novel oral vaccine.

00:56:14.000 Apparently, they can use this to orally administer a number of protein-based therapies, which would otherwise be delivered by injection.

00:56:21.000 That's pretty amazing.

00:56:23.000 Nadav Kidron, who's the CEO, said that they could revolutionize the marketplace by uniting.

00:56:28.000 He said an oral vaccine could become even more valuable in the case that a COVID-19 vaccine may be recommended annually like the standard flu shot.

00:56:34.000 Instead, you just pop a pill.

00:56:36.000 It can be shipped at refrigerator temperatures.

00:56:38.000 Okay, so we have more and more solutions every day.

00:56:42.000 Our great experts are saying there's no fourth wave.

00:56:44.000 Remember, they keep saying that the COVID stuff is the reason why we have to be worried about what's happening in Miami Beach, when that's really not the story at all.

00:56:50.000 Here's Scott Gottlieb, former FDA commissioner, widely respected in bipartisan circles, saying there's not going to be a fourth wave.

00:56:57.000 Well, I don't think we're going to have a fourth wave.

00:56:59.000 I think what we're seeing around the country is parts of the country that are plateauing.

00:57:02.000 We're seeing upticks in certain parts of the country.

00:57:05.000 I think the fact that we have so much prior infection, 120 million Americans have been infected with this virus.

00:57:10.000 The fact that we've now vaccinated, we've gotten one shot in at least 70 million Americans.

00:57:14.000 Even if you account for the fact that maybe about 30% of the people being vaccinated previously had COVID, we're talking about some form of protective immunity in about 55% of the population.

00:57:24.000 So there's enough of a backstop here that I don't think you're going to see a fourth Okay, not only does he say that, Dr. Ashish Jha, who's again a person from the left side of the aisle from Brown University, he says there's not going to be a fourth wave.

00:57:37.000 We're not going to have a major fourth surge.

00:57:40.000 But what we are looking towards and what looks like is about to happen is we are going to see a significant bump in cases in a bunch of states.

00:57:49.000 And that means more infections, more hospitalizations, more deaths.

00:57:52.000 The reason I'm pretty confident we're going to avoid what is happening in Europe is twofold.

00:57:56.000 One is we vaccinated a lot more people.

00:58:00.000 And second is that we vaccinated a lot of our highest people.

00:58:04.000 Yes, correct.

00:58:05.000 OK, so and by the way, the vaccinations shut them up.

00:58:07.000 The vaccinations are not going to be Irrelevant here, and yet that is the line from the Biden administration.

00:58:14.000 So you still have Dr. Fauci out there telling Rand Paul you gotta mask up.

00:58:17.000 A year ago, this is a direct quote from Fauci.

00:58:19.000 Quote, I'm confident this virus acts like every other.

00:58:22.000 Once you get infected, get better, clear the virus.

00:58:24.000 You'll have immunity that will protect you against reinfection.

00:58:26.000 I'd be willing to bet anything people who recover are really protected against reinfection.

00:58:30.000 He said that last year.

00:58:31.000 But the narrative from the Biden administration is this is going to continue.

00:58:34.000 It's why we need bailouts.

00:58:35.000 It's why we need to blow out the dollar.

00:58:36.000 It's why you need to wear a mask until the end of time.

00:58:39.000 This is why you have Dr. Mansef Slaoui, who's the head of Operation Warp Speed, out there saying, yeah, you know, we should probably still be wearing masks.

00:58:44.000 If you're vaccinated and you are four weeks after your first vaccination, two weeks after your last vaccination, you are good to go.

00:58:49.000 OK, you don't need to wear a mask anymore.

00:58:51.000 Dr. Marty Makary, Johns Hopkins University.

00:58:54.000 Because you now have immunity!

00:58:56.000 The studies demonstrate you have immunity.

00:58:58.000 But the narrative has to be that Republicans are evil for saying you should take off the mask.

00:59:01.000 We need people to be scared. 0.98

00:59:03.000 The Democrats need people to continue being scared to justify all of the crap that they are attempting right now, fiscally. 0.85

00:59:09.000 So here we have Dr. Slaoui saying we should still wear masks.

00:59:12.000 As long as the herd immunity levels have not yet been attained, that people who have been vaccinated should continue wearing a mask when in public and in crowded areas, because what we don't know yet is whether the vaccine prevents replication of the virus.

00:59:29.000 It's an act of, frankly, you know, civility, I would say, vis-a-vis the people around us who have not yet been vaccinated.

00:59:37.000 Okay, we know that people are not transmitting the virus at, like, 90% of the rate once they're vaccinated.

00:59:43.000 Those studies are out already in Israel.

00:59:44.000 They can't cite a single study suggesting widespread spread of the virus after vaccination, but they're still pushing the mask wearing.

00:59:51.000 Why?

00:59:51.000 Because again, the goal is to categorize everybody who's a political opponent as an enemy of science.

00:59:56.000 You got Joe Biden out there saying that he's a friend of the science.

00:59:58.000 Incredible.

00:59:59.000 It's incredible.

01:00:00.000 They've pushed a bunch.

01:00:01.000 He's wearing a mask.

01:00:01.000 He's fully vaccinated.

01:00:03.000 He's fully vaccinated and he's wearing the mask and he's saying, mask up. 0.99

01:00:07.000 Hey, I'm sorry, this is dumb. 0.92

01:00:09.000 It like it really is at this point here.

01:00:12.000 And you're not encouraging people to get the vaccine.

01:00:14.000 You're telling people they have to continue wearing the vaccine forever.

01:00:16.000 And here's Joe Biden.

01:00:18.000 The one thing that I reason I am so, so happy to have been able to anyway, to have doc here.

01:00:28.000 My goodness.

01:00:28.000 Is that science is back.

01:00:32.000 No, all kidding aside, think about it.

01:00:34.000 For the longest time, not just as it relates to CDC, but science.

01:00:40.000 Science was viewed as sort of an appendage to anything else we were talking about.

01:00:46.000 But it's back.

01:00:48.000 What the hell are you talking about? 0.98

01:00:50.000 What are you? 0.97

01:00:52.000 The science's background is the most anti-scientific.

01:00:54.000 They're just anti-science.

01:00:55.000 I mean, they really are.

01:00:57.000 Like, for example, MSNBC's Joy Reid.

01:00:59.000 So she says that Rand Paul won't wear a mask because he wants to spread disease like Columbus. 0.97

01:01:02.000 I mean, if you just want the garbage you take, go straight to Joy Reid. 0.67

01:01:06.000 He wants to be able to be free to spread COVID.

01:01:09.000 Because remember, he had COVID and showed up in the gym, in the Capitol gym, and felt like he should be able to be unmasked and spread it.

01:01:16.000 There is almost sort of a Christopher Columbus era attitude toward COVID, right?

01:01:21.000 If we got COVID, you get COVID.

01:01:23.000 If I got COVID, I'm coming in your store. 0.93

01:01:25.000 I'm going to breathe on you and cough on you. 0.99

01:01:27.000 If you don't like it, you better take off your mask and take it.

01:01:29.000 There's this attitude that they feel they have the right to spread COVID or that they're enthusiastic about spreading COVID.

01:01:36.000 Okay, this is, I'm sorry.

01:01:37.000 That's so anti-scientific and insane.

01:01:39.000 It's beyond crazy.

01:01:41.000 It's beyond crazy.

01:01:42.000 Once you've had COVID, you ain't spreading it. 1.00

01:01:45.000 Once you're vaccinated, you ain't, what do you think the point of a vaccine is, you morons? 1.00

01:01:49.000 My goodness. 1.00

01:01:50.000 And then I love that, so she gets the science wrong and the history wrong.

01:01:53.000 The idea is that Christopher Columbus, before the knowledge of germ theory, came to the new world deliberately to breathe on the natives.

01:02:01.000 And that's just what Rand Paul is doing now.

01:02:03.000 Except that Rand Paul's immune.

01:02:04.000 And Rand Paul isn't infecting anybody.

01:02:07.000 But don't worry guys, it's all part of the narrative, and the narrative is America's terrible, America's awful, and you need the government to save you from ongoing crises that aren't crises at all.

01:02:15.000 Because they're empathetic, guys.

01:02:16.000 They're empathetic.

01:02:18.000 Well, you know what that empathy's gonna cost you?

01:02:20.000 It's gonna cost you in the pocketbook.

01:02:21.000 It's gonna cost you in freedom.

01:02:23.000 And they don't give a damn about you.

01:02:25.000 Why would you think that politicians care about you? 1.00

01:02:28.000 Are you a moron? 1.00

01:02:29.000 Politicians don't give two craps about you. 1.00

01:02:31.000 Politicians are people who get elected to take your money and then spend it on crap that they want to do in order to get themselves paid. 0.99

01:02:38.000 That's what politicians are. 0.62

01:02:40.000 There's a reason people say that politics is the world's second oldest profession.

01:02:43.000 Okay, it's, and bears significant resemblance to the first.

01:02:50.000 The bizarre nature of Americans who have decided that politicians are their friends, it shows the death of community, shows the death of religion, and shows the death of family, that's for sure.

01:02:58.000 If you're looking to these people for your empathy and for your comfort and for taking care of you, man, there's some holes in your life that ain't gonna be filled by slow old Joe Biden stumbling down a bunch of airplane steps.

01:03:09.000 My goodness.
