00:01:46.000 Okay, so Joe Biden was down in Georgia yesterday campaigning for Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff.
00:01:54.000 Both of whom are radical.
00:01:55.000 John Ossoff is a trust fund socialist.
00:01:57.000 And Raphael Warnock is an actual crazy socialist, leftist, Marxist, insane person.
00:02:02.000 Raphael Warnock is a person who's like hot on Castro, hot on Louis Farrakhan, hot on Linda Sarsour.
00:02:07.000 Like everybody who sucks, he loves immensely.
00:02:10.000 And this is somebody that Joe Biden desperately wants to be in the United States Senate.
00:02:13.000 Because you see, here's the thing.
00:02:14.000 For all the talk about how the Republicans have broadened the Overton window to allow people in who shouldn't be, the Democrats have never, ever narrowed the Overton window on their left.
00:02:23.000 There's nobody on the left who's too far left for the Democratic Party.
00:02:26.000 It just does not exist.
00:02:27.000 The Republicans have cast out from among them people like Representative Steve King, who was replaced in the last election cycle in a primary that seat now belongs to a different Republican, Feenstra.
00:02:37.000 But you don't see the same thing from the Democrats.
00:02:39.000 You just don't.
00:02:40.000 Republicans looked at Roy Moore in Alabama.
00:02:42.000 They're like, no, we're not going to do that.
00:02:44.000 And Doug Jones, who's a Democrat, ended up representing Alabama as a senator, which is insane because Alabama is probably the most red state in America.
00:02:49.000 For Democrats, however, you get Raphael Warnock up there praising Louis Farrakhan and talking about the wonders of Jeremiah Wright.
00:02:57.000 And Joe Biden's like, you know what?
00:02:58.000 We need this guy in the Senate.
00:02:59.000 Really, really need this guy in the Senate.
00:03:00.000 But don't worry.
00:03:01.000 I'm an old fashioned moderate, a super old fashioned moderate.
00:03:05.000 So Biden showed up in Georgia.
00:03:08.000 And started talking about why you need all of these people in the Senate.
00:03:12.000 He said about the Georgian voters that you voted in record numbers in order to improve the lives of every Georgian, and you voted as if your life depended on it.
00:03:19.000 Which, by the way, is the worst line.
00:03:20.000 I hate that line so much.
00:03:22.000 Your life does not depend on your vote in the United States of America.
00:03:25.000 If your life depends on your vote in the United States of America, you don't live in a free country anymore.
00:03:29.000 Truly.
00:03:30.000 It is that simple.
00:03:31.000 Maybe your lifestyle depends on your vote.
00:03:33.000 That's fair.
00:03:33.000 Maybe the decisions you make in your life Are impacted by your vote.
00:03:37.000 I think that's true.
00:03:38.000 But your life itself depends on your vote.
00:03:41.000 If that is true, you are no longer living in a constitutional republic.
00:03:45.000 You are living under threat of extermination, like the citizens of Hong Kong, for example.
00:03:50.000 But this kind of stuff is just it's egregious.
00:03:52.000 It's egregious.
00:03:54.000 And then he says, guess what?
00:03:54.000 You're going to have to do it again.
00:03:55.000 So this is Captain, I'm going to take down the temperature here.
00:03:58.000 Joe Biden, I'm going to take down the temperature.
00:03:59.000 Also, if you vote or die, like literally, if you don't vote, then my political opponents will probably look to kill you.
00:04:07.000 I mean, that's wild, wild stuff.
00:04:09.000 Okay, so Joe Biden then mocked the Republican senators from the state Loeffler and Perdue.
00:04:15.000 Here he was yesterday going after Loeffler and Perdue, both of whom have challenged the state election results in Georgia.
00:04:19.000 There's still an outstanding lawsuit in Georgia over voter irregularity and voter fraud.
00:04:24.000 It is the sole outstanding serious lawsuit by Team Trump with regard to the possibility of voter fraud and voter irregularity, and that will still be adjudicated in court.
00:04:32.000 But here was Biden going after Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue.
00:04:36.000 You know who didn't stand by?
00:04:38.000 You know who did nothing while Trump, Texas, and others were trying to wipe out every single one of the almost 5 million votes you had cast here in Georgia in November?
00:04:50.000 Your two Republican senators.
00:04:52.000 They stood by.
00:04:54.000 In fact, your two Republican senators fully embraced what Texans were telling the Supreme Court.
00:05:00.000 They fully embraced nullifying nearly 5 million Georgia votes.
00:05:06.000 Just a quick note for Joe Biden.
00:05:07.000 According to polling statistics, apparently a majority of Georgians are concerned about that election status and believe that the election actually did not go the way that it was certified as going.
00:05:16.000 So I'm not sure how appealing that message is going to be.
00:05:19.000 Joe Biden is not exactly the guy that you bring into a rally to get people revved up.
00:05:24.000 He's the guy you hide in the basement and then you make him president-elect because he was in the basement.
00:05:29.000 The more he gets out, the less people like him.
00:05:31.000 The more he is out there in the public eye, the more people are like, oh, this one?
00:05:34.000 Really?
00:05:34.000 Of all the humans?
00:05:36.000 The American public, I think, looks at Joe Biden in much the same way that Jason Bateman looked at Michael Cera's girlfriend on Arrested Development.
00:05:45.000 It's like, her?
00:05:47.000 Her?
00:05:48.000 Really?
00:05:49.000 Her?
00:05:49.000 Yeah, I think.
00:05:51.000 And the more you see Biden, the more you see that.
00:05:52.000 I mean, yesterday, even while he was in the middle of rallying, he looked like he was going to keel over.
00:05:56.000 And here was Joe Biden calling John Orsoff.
00:05:58.000 This is after declaring that a person he selected for his own cabinet was named Xavier Becerra.
00:06:05.000 His name is Xavier Becerra.
00:06:07.000 Here is slow old Joe Biden.
00:06:10.000 Home for your next United States Senator, John Orsoff.
00:06:13.000 Yeah, Orsoff.
00:06:15.000 Who?
00:06:15.000 I don't know.
00:06:17.000 That one.
00:06:19.000 That guy over there.
00:06:21.000 There's Kamala Harris in the background, just grinning ear to ear like the Joker.
00:06:25.000 And here's Joe Biden, also sounding unwell.
00:06:29.000 Same rally.
00:06:30.000 The lives of every Georgian still depend on what you're doing.
00:06:33.000 Yes.
00:06:34.000 You still need to vote as if your life depends on it because it does.
00:06:39.000 And guess what?
00:06:40.000 You don't have to wait till January 5th to vote.
00:06:43.000 You can vote starting now.
00:06:44.000 Early vote has begun.
00:06:46.000 There's no, no one.
00:06:49.000 That's not one reason here why you should wait to vote.
00:06:53.000 You hear his voice is pretty hoarse there.
00:06:55.000 Joe Biden there.
00:06:56.000 As a man on the brink of death, let me tell you, your life depends on this.
00:07:02.000 Food taster, Joe.
00:07:02.000 Food taster.
00:07:03.000 Okay, well, one of Biden's other messages here, aside from, you're gonna die if you vote for my political opponents in Georgia.
00:07:11.000 One of his other messages is, it's time to unite, guys.
00:07:13.000 Remember, this is the same nonsense that Barack Obama did.
00:07:16.000 Barack Obama would constantly talk about how we needed to, we need to unify.
00:07:20.000 You get behind me.
00:07:21.000 Unify as a nation by agreeing with me.
00:07:23.000 Also, if you don't agree with me, you're a bitter clinger.
00:07:26.000 Probably racist a little bit.
00:07:27.000 Just a little bit.
00:07:28.000 Like a lot, but a little bit.
00:07:29.000 But mostly, but a little.
00:07:30.000 A little racist.
00:07:32.000 And now you got Joe Biden doing the same routine.
00:07:35.000 So here is Joe Biden yesterday saying he looks forward to working with Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader.
00:07:39.000 Sure you do, Joe.
00:07:41.000 I had a good conversation with Mitch McConnell today.
00:07:46.000 I called him to thank him for the congratulations.
00:07:48.000 Told him, although we disagree on a lot of things, there's things we can work together on.
00:07:53.000 We've always been straight with one another.
00:07:56.000 And we agreed we'd get together sooner than later.
00:08:00.000 And I'm looking forward to working with him.
00:08:02.000 Okay, so there he is, Captain Unity.
00:08:04.000 Well, I have some unfortunate news for our Captain Unity.
00:08:08.000 It turns out that his own deputy campaign manager said a thing today that undercuts that message of unity in rather dramatic fashion.
00:08:15.000 We'll get to that in just one moment.
00:08:16.000 First, let us talk about the greatest food.
00:08:20.000 I'm talking waffles.
00:08:21.000 Okay, waffles.
00:08:23.000 Yeah, man.
00:08:24.000 Okay, so, there is this product.
00:08:25.000 It is called the Presto Stuffed Waffle Maker.
00:08:28.000 And let me tell you, over the weekend, I broke this thing out, and I used it with my kids.
00:08:31.000 It is just spectacular.
00:08:33.000 You pour the batter in, you put whatever stuffing you want in the middle of the waffle, you pour some more batter in, you flip it, it cooks for like seven, eight minutes, and you have the greatest stuffed waffle in history.
00:08:42.000 We put in a bunch of peanut butter cups. Oh my god. It was it was a dessert waffle. It was unbelievable Things incredibly easy to use it makes delicious waffles every single time It is great for pretty much everything sweet or savory You can make it with chicken the same way that you can make it with candy the way that we did You can also do it for keto diet so it doesn't have to be completely delicious and decadent You can also do keto diets, right?
00:09:03.000 You can make no or low-carb batters.
00:09:05.000 You make stuff with eggs or chicken or cheese.
00:09:07.000 You make burgers, cream cheese, veggies.
00:09:08.000 It's great for all of those things.
00:09:10.000 The stuffler is easy to use.
00:09:11.000 It works with most any batter, not just waffle mixes, cake, muffin, brownie mixes, both boxed and from scratch.
00:09:16.000 You just pour in the batter, you add the stuffing, you fill with more batter, you close the cover, you flip it.
00:09:19.000 And then you're done, and the tongs are built in, so you just pick it up, put it on the plate, you're good to go.
00:09:24.000 It is ze-licious.
00:09:25.000 And it's family fun.
00:09:25.000 Okay?
00:09:26.000 My kids helped me out doing this.
00:09:28.000 They enjoyed it.
00:09:28.000 It was a blast.

00:09:45.000 Okay, so.
00:09:47.000 Captain Unity over here.
00:09:48.000 I can't wait to unify with Mitch McConnell.
00:09:50.000 Also, also, Daily Wire Hank Barron reporting, Joe Biden's 2020 campaign manager, Jen O'Malley Dillon, who is now his prospective deputy chief of staff, ripped at Republicans in an interview, saying she believed in unity, but added, quote, I'm not saying they're not a bunch of f-ers.
00:10:04.000 Yeah, that's unifying.
00:10:08.000 I can feel the warmth rolling off of you in waves there, Jen.
00:10:12.000 It sounds like you want to get together and make the country a better place.
00:10:14.000 Also, Joe Biden says that if you vote for Republicans, then you might die.
00:10:18.000 And also, you're a bunch of effers.
00:10:20.000 Yes, I can feel us all, can't you feel us all coming together?
00:10:24.000 It feels like the era of division that began, of course, with Trump is now over.
00:10:28.000 And we are back to the era of unity under Barack Obama that never existed under Barack Obama, didn't exist under George W. Bush, didn't exist under Bill Clinton, but it's definitely going to exist now.
00:10:36.000 And the only way it's going to exist is, of course, you agree with Joe Biden.
00:10:40.000 That's the way that this works.
00:10:41.000 Because if you believe, if you truly believe that Joe Biden is going to pursue anything like a moderate agenda, He is not.
00:10:49.000 He's not going to pursue a moderate agenda.
00:10:51.000 He's just going to not be as threatening in mean and appearance as other Democrats are because he appears as though he is on the verge of the next life.
00:10:59.000 OK, but that does not mean that he is not going to pursue agenda items that run directly contrary to many long held principles by the American right and by many Americans who are not of the right.
00:11:10.000 Here's Jen O'Malley Dillon's full comment in Glamour Magazine, which again, it's just hilarious to me that Glamour Magazine is doing interviews with people like Jen O'Malley Dillon, and it just shows the bias in the media.
00:11:20.000 Maggie Haberman over at the New York Times tweeted out this morning something about a member of Joe Biden's staff, that that member of the staff was talking about how she was a mother, and Maggie Haberman tweeted out, it is pretty impressive and still rare, For women in politics to talk about their pride in mothering.
00:11:36.000 And it's like, oh my God, every single major Republican woman of the last administration was a mom.
00:11:41.000 And they all talked about being a mom, like all of them.
00:11:44.000 None of them were featured in magazines.
00:11:46.000 They were all, I mean, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who is a mom, was getting tossed out of like a restaurant with her family.
00:11:51.000 And you jerks in the media were sharing it.
00:11:53.000 Anyway, here is what Jen O'Malley Dillon had to say.
00:11:55.000 I'm not saying they're not a bunch of effers.
00:11:56.000 Compromise is a good thing.
00:11:58.000 The atmosphere in the world now is like, oh, if you compromise, you don't believe in something.
00:12:01.000 No, it's I believe in it so much, I'm gonna work to find a path we can both go down together.
00:12:04.000 That feels to me like the heart of relationships and love and success across the board.
00:12:08.000 The president-elect was able to connect with people over this sense of unity.
00:12:11.000 In the primary, people would mock him like, you think you can work with Republicans?
00:12:15.000 I'm not saying they're not a bunch of effers.
00:12:16.000 Mitch McConnell is terrible.
00:12:18.000 But this sense that you couldn't wish for that, you couldn't wish for this bipartisan ideal, So, in other words, we wish we could compromise.
00:12:25.000 But the people across the table are effers.
00:12:27.000 But we want to compromise, and so we get credit for the intention.
00:12:31.000 It's like if you bring flowers to your horrible, horrible spouse, who you're about to divorce.
00:12:36.000 You get credit for the bringing of the flowers, even if you then proceed to call her a very, very bad word.
00:12:42.000 Good job.
00:12:43.000 Good job, everybody.
00:12:43.000 Team Biden.
00:12:45.000 Really unifying stuff.
00:12:47.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden is, in fact, pursuing controversial policies, controversial picks.
00:12:54.000 So Biden is talking specifically about how he wants to use COVID policy in order to tackle racial and ethnic inequalities.
00:13:03.000 Ooh, now that sounds like exciting stuff.
00:13:06.000 This is something they've been talking about for a while here, is that Joe Biden sees COVID as another way of cramming down a particular viewpoint on the universe.
00:13:14.000 Right, there was a lot of talk, even in his early COVID press conferences after the election, he was hosting like a racial and diversity coordinator.
00:13:22.000 And the idea is that America, its gaps in terms of racial death rates, those have to do with America's historic legacy of racism and how terrible America is and all of this.
00:13:30.000 So now, according to the Washington Post, Biden is doubling down on that.
00:13:34.000 Biden wants to continue to push divisive policy in the face of COVID.
00:13:37.000 Now, it seems to me that when you're talking about COVID policy, the first thing that you should be doing is focusing in specifically on fighting the health problem.
00:13:47.000 And we should focus in on people as individuals who require care, not as members of groups who are quote unquote historically victimized.
00:13:53.000 The notion that in order for you to achieve actual good health outcomes, you have to also pursue quote unquote social justice, rejiggering of basic expectations is pretty ridiculous on its face.
00:14:07.000 Unfortunately, that is something that Joe Biden has already said that he is going to pursue.
00:14:11.000 Also, he is filling out his cabinet now.
00:14:13.000 Ooh.
00:14:14.000 And who is he choosing?
00:14:16.000 He's choosing, you know, unifying figures like Pete Buttigieg.
00:14:19.000 So he chose Pete Buttigieg as his transportation secretary.
00:14:22.000 So, I said before, it feels like basically Joe Biden just has like a list of names, and then he has a list of positions, and he puts the list of positions up on a dartboard, and then he picks a name and just throws the dart at the dartboard, and wherever the dart comes down, this is who will serve in that position.
00:14:37.000 So it's like Dennis McDonough.
00:14:38.000 Oh yeah, I remember Dennis Pakman in the Obama administration, good guy, John, and you know what?
00:14:43.000 And, and, you know what? Let's, let's figure, let's, let's find a, let's find a place for, for old Dennis.
00:14:48.000 FFFT!
00:14:49.000 Oh! Veterans Affairs!
00:14:51.000 Veterans Affairs!
00:14:53.000 And somebody's like, Joe, he's not a veteran.
00:14:55.000 He doesn't know anything about Veterans Affairs.
00:14:57.000 He doesn't know anyone in the military.
00:14:58.000 I'm like, it's okay!
00:15:00.000 I threw the dart.
00:15:01.000 Dart's done.
00:15:01.000 It's too late.
00:15:03.000 Pete Buttigieg.
00:15:04.000 Oh yeah, I love Pete.
00:15:05.000 Pete's a good guy.
00:15:06.000 Good young buck, Pete.
00:15:08.000 Like my son.
00:15:09.000 Great, great.
00:15:10.000 Let's find a position.
00:15:13.000 Transportation secretary for good ol' Pete.
00:15:17.000 Why is he transportation secretary?
00:15:19.000 What is his expertise in transportation?
00:15:23.000 As it turns out, he has no expertise in transportation.
00:15:25.000 Politico notes, Buttigieg's landing spot comes as a surprise, given his thin transportation policy resume.
00:15:33.000 Also, gotta love this.
00:15:35.000 Love that the media are now calling Buttigieg, he'd be the first openly gay cabinet secretary.
00:15:39.000 So, Richard Grinnell was the ambassador to Germany and was cabinet level position.
00:15:46.000 So they are now sort of tailoring this title so that they can say that Buttigieg is the first, even though Rick Grinnell already was an openly gay man serving in a high position in the Trump administration.
00:15:56.000 But Politico points out that, oh yeah, he has no transportation policy resume.
00:16:02.000 Originally, he wanted to serve as ambassador to the United Nations, which would have been awful.
00:16:07.000 And so he went from Mayor of South Bend to the Transportation Secretary for no reason at all.
00:16:14.000 He will head to Washington to take responsibility for nearly 55,000 employees.
00:16:18.000 First of all, honestly, disband half of these departments.
00:16:21.000 Disband them.
00:16:23.000 An $87 billion budget and more than a dozen administrations overseeing the nation's airspace, highway system, pipeline safety, and more.
00:16:29.000 Sounds great, guys.
00:16:32.000 Biden said in the announcement, jobs, infrastructure, equity, climate all come together at the DOT.
00:16:37.000 The site of some of our most ambitious plans to build back better.
00:16:42.000 I trust Mayor Pete to lead this work with focus, decency, and a bold vision.
00:16:47.000 He'll bring people together to get big things done.
00:16:51.000 So, good times.
00:16:52.000 He's gonna be over there at the Transportation Department.
00:16:56.000 There's only one problem.
00:16:56.000 There's only one problem.
00:16:58.000 Black activists warned against his selection, saying he and other longtime Biden allies rumored for the spot have a poor record of working with communities of color.
00:17:05.000 Two black community leaders from South Bend, Council Member Henry Davis Jr.
00:17:08.000 and local BLM leader Jordan Geiger, both of whom have criticized Buttigieg's record throughout his presidential primary campaign, mobilized in response to reports he was under consideration.
00:17:16.000 Davis said, he did a really bad job for this community and my district in particular.
00:17:20.000 Bus lines have been shut down and cut off in one of the poorest census tracts in the city.
00:17:23.000 Geiger said he has no history of working with black owned businesses.
00:17:26.000 Hurting black communities is not worth the price of doing a political favor for Pete Buttigieg just because he endorsed Biden's campaign in the primary.
00:17:33.000 But that's all that really matters.
00:17:38.000 You know, all that really matters in the end is that Pete Buttigieg is somebody that Biden wants to pass along a position to, and Transportation Secretary will do as well as any.
00:17:46.000 By the way, also worth noting, in 2019, the South Bend Tribune, again, the man was the mayor of a city of 100,000 people.
00:17:53.000 100,000 people, again, that is eight.
00:17:59.000 Relatively small city.
00:18:00.000 100,000 people.
00:18:01.000 And that guy's going to be transportation secretary.
00:18:03.000 And he couldn't even fix the potholes there.
00:18:05.000 According to the South Bend Tribune, many residents felt the city had, quote, The Tribune reported in 2018, this is according to Fox News, that potholes at the time were the worst area repair shops had seen in over 10 years.
00:18:20.000 Lines of vehicles reportedly awaited repair for pothole damages every day.
00:18:23.000 It's the worst I've ever seen, said Rich Ferrara Jr., service manager at Rick's Aughton Road 66 in South Bend.
00:18:30.000 Though the state allows motorists to file claims for damage caused by potholes, it's unclear how many filed claims and how many claims are actually processed.
00:18:38.000 In 2019, Domino's Pizza stepped in, offering South Bend a $5,000 paving-for-pizza grant to fill in potholes.
00:18:47.000 So, well done, everybody.
00:18:48.000 By the way, Booty Judge's successor ran on a platform of repairing the potholes.
00:18:53.000 Make that guy Secretary of Transportation.
00:18:56.000 Makes perfect sense.
00:18:57.000 Perfect sense, guys.
00:18:59.000 Alrighty, we'll get to more of this in just one second, because it turns out that Captain Unity over here is not super unifying, as you would have suspected.
00:19:06.000 But first, let us talk about the fact that you don't trust your social media companies, nor should you.
00:19:10.000 They have made overt decisions on what sort of material you should and should not see.
00:19:14.000 They have downgraded material that cuts against the Democrats.
00:19:17.000 They've upgraded material that is in favor of Democrats.
00:19:20.000 They've prevented people from speaking freely.
00:19:22.000 So why would you grant them access to your data so they can monetize it and then use your data to make money and then prevent you from seeing the stuff you wanna see?
00:19:29.000 Instead, why not hide your own data, use ExpressVPN?
00:19:32.000 The big problem with tech companies, they not only censor what you read, they track what you do online.
00:19:36.000 They'll track what you're searching for, the videos you watch, everything you click.
00:19:38.000 They use that data to serve you ads.
00:19:40.000 It can match your activity to your offline identity using your device's unique IP address.
00:19:44.000 When I use ExpressVPN, tech companies can't see my IP address at all.
00:19:47.000 My identity is masked and anonymized by a secure VPN server.
00:19:50.000 Plus, ExpressVPN also encrypts 100% of your data to protect you from hackers and internet bad guys.
00:19:54.000 If that sounds complicated, it is not.
00:19:56.000 You download it, very quick, with one click, you are now protected.
00:20:00.000 So, why give the tech companies access to your most important data and then have them turn around and sell it off?
00:20:05.000 It's time to take back your privacy.
00:20:06.000 ExpressVPN.com slash Ben.

00:20:09.000 You'll get an extra three months of ExpressVPN service for free.
00:20:12.000 Who doesn't like to save money, right?
00:20:13.000 ExpressVPN.com slash Ben.
00:20:15.000 E-X-P-R-E-S-S.
00:20:16.000 VPN.com slash Ben to protect your data today.
00:20:20.000 It's also worth remembering that Mayor Pete, again, one of these unifying, unifying figures, he started the campaign as a guy who said, basically, that, I'm not going to look down my nose at people on the other side of the aisle.
00:20:29.000 And he finished his campaign as Pastor Pete, a man lecturing you, the traditional Christian, on why his version of Christianity, in which same-sex marriage and abortion were sacraments, why his Christianity was the right version of Christianity.
00:20:40.000 Flashback to 2019, he said, Christians will face a reckoning on religion.
00:20:44.000 This is Captain Unity over here on MSNBC, just about a year ago.
00:20:48.000 For as long as there has been faith and as long as there has been politics, there have been different understandings on the right thing to do and how these things fit together.
00:20:55.000 But for the party and the movement known for beating other people on the head with their faith or their interpretation of their faith, it makes no sense to literally vote to take food away from the hungry.
00:21:11.000 To essentially be practicing the very thing that not just a Christian scriptural tradition, but so many others tell us we're not supposed to do in terms of harming other people.
00:21:23.000 And I do think there's going to be a reckoning over that.
00:21:26.000 The schmuck.
00:21:27.000 I mean, honestly, his religious viewpoint, which is basically all of my leftist priors ought to be confirmed by religion.
00:21:33.000 And if you disagree, you're a bad Christian.
00:21:35.000 He was the only theocrat in the race, so far as I could tell.
00:21:38.000 Donald Trump certainly wasn't a theocrat.
00:21:40.000 But Pete Buttigieg definitely, definitely was.
00:21:42.000 And he was very divisive on that end, by the way.
00:21:44.000 The things that religion requires are that you ignore all democratic social policy and pretend that it's good.
00:21:49.000 And also, worry seriously, like, a lot about global warming.
00:21:52.000 Here he was, around that same time, talking about how God will not let us off the hook on global warming.
00:21:56.000 Question.
00:21:57.000 God gonna let us off the hook on, you know, the murder of a million unborn children in the womb every year in the United States?
00:22:01.000 How about that?
00:22:01.000 You think God's, like, super hot on that one, Pete?
00:22:03.000 Here he was back in 2019.
00:22:05.000 Environmental stewardship isn't just about taking care of the planet.
00:22:08.000 It's taking care of our neighbor.
00:22:09.000 We're supposed to love our neighbor as ourselves.
00:22:11.000 And the biggest problem with climate change isn't just that it's going to hurt the planet.
00:22:15.000 I mean, in some way, shape, or form, the planet's still going to be here.
00:22:17.000 It's that we are hurting people.
00:22:19.000 People who are alive right now and people who will be born in the future.
00:22:23.000 The way I see it, I don't imagine that God's going to let us off the hook for abusing future generations.
00:22:29.000 I mean, God is not going to let us off the hook if we don't take care of climate change, because that hurts both future generations and people who are here right now.
00:22:42.000 Now do abortion!
00:22:43.000 Now do abortion!
00:22:44.000 I mean, that literally is harming future generations and people who are here right now, literally, by killing them.
00:22:53.000 But you know what?
00:22:54.000 It's okay.
00:22:55.000 Unity cabinet, guys.
00:22:56.000 Super unifying.
00:22:57.000 Speaking of super unifying, Joe Biden also wants to pick Jennifer Granholm for energy secretary.
00:23:02.000 Now, what exactly is her experience with energy, considering that she's the former governor of Michigan?
00:23:06.000 Not much.
00:23:07.000 She's a quote-unquote long-time champion of renewable energy development.
00:23:10.000 Ooh, she likes windmills!
00:23:12.000 That's so exciting.
00:23:14.000 Good times.
00:23:15.000 Also a unity pick.
00:23:16.000 Flashback.
00:23:17.000 August 25th, 2012.
00:23:18.000 Quote, Republican conventions delayed due to Hurricane Isaac.
00:23:21.000 I guess God has ways to shut that whole thing down.
00:23:24.000 Yeah, good times with Jennifer Granholm, who also has hashtagged Moscow Mitch consistently for the last year and a half.
00:23:31.000 And then, again, all that matters for the press is what diversity box they fill.
00:23:35.000 So here is the New York Times reporting on Jennifer Granholm, who is a radical lefty.
00:23:39.000 Here is what the New York Times reports.
00:23:41.000 If confirmed, Granholm, 61, will be the second woman after Hazel O'Leary, who served under President Bill Clinton, to lead the VAST Department, which oversees the U.S.
00:23:49.000 nuclear weapons complex, as well as 17 national laboratories and a wide range of energy research and development initiatives.
00:23:55.000 Oh my God, you mean she'll be the second woman after the famed Hazel O'Leary?
00:23:59.000 Wow!
00:24:01.000 Mind-blown.
00:24:02.000 So historic.
00:24:03.000 So Pete Buttigieg will be the first cabinet-level secretary who's gay, except for Rick Grinnell, who's a cabinet-level guy who is gay, and she will be the second woman to lead the famed energy department?
00:24:16.000 After Hazel O'Leary?
00:24:19.000 The second most famous O'Leary?
00:24:22.000 Well, third most famous, because it goes like Mrs. O'Leary, who's Calburn, Chicago, and then Troy O'Leary, the former right fielder for the Red Sox, and then Hazel O'Leary.
00:24:28.000 So that's exciting stuff.
00:24:29.000 stuff. Says the New York Times, Ms. Granholm is widely credited during her two terms as Michigan governor with steering her state through a recession and working with the Obama administration on a 2009 bailout of the automobile industry that included clean energy investments and incentives for carmakers to invest in technologies like battery storage. Oh, you mean she presided over the the continued degradation of the car industry in Michigan to the point where manufacturing in Michigan sank to such a level that Donald Trump was elected in 2007.
00:24:56.000 Yeah, that was good stuff.
00:24:57.000 Also, she gave a TED Talk in 2011 on investing in alternative energy resources.
00:25:02.000 So that's exciting.
00:25:03.000 We can expect her to pour a bunch of money into useless technologies that will likely not succeed.
00:25:08.000 What a unit, so much unity gonna happen, guys.
00:25:11.000 So much unity.
00:25:12.000 You effers.
00:25:13.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second.
00:25:15.000 First, let us talk about the fact that you need energy.
00:25:19.000 I need energy these days.
00:25:20.000 My kids keep me up at all hours of the night, and yet I have to come in here every day and provide you with the greatest podcast and radio show in the nation, which means I have to go through just a lot, a lot, a lot of energy, and that means I need Black Rifle Coffee.

00:25:41.000 Evan founded Black Rifle in 2014 along with former Army Ranger Matt Best as the combination of two passions, developing premium fresh roasted coffee and honoring and supporting those who serve on the front lines.
00:25:51.000 Black Rifle is a fantastic company.

00:26:05.000 And their coffee happens to be fantastic.

00:26:30.000 Okay, well, if you thought, okay, well, you know, these are just cabinet secretaries, so who really cares?
00:26:35.000 I mean, they're cabinets.
00:26:35.000 Don't worry.
00:26:36.000 The moderates will still be in charge.
00:26:39.000 The media are so itching for Joe Biden to be off the stage.
00:26:41.000 They are so itching for him to be gone.
00:26:43.000 Thomas Friedman has a piece in the New York Times today titled, Kamala Harris Deserves a More Important Job.
00:26:48.000 So, here's the thing.
00:26:52.000 She's the vice president-elect, which means that there is only one more important job.
00:26:58.000 It's not like there are tons of them out there.
00:27:03.000 Let's think real hard about what that more important job could be, Thomas.
00:27:08.000 Get a food taster.
00:27:09.000 That is the worst job in America, being Joe Biden's food taster.
00:27:12.000 Short-lived job, as it turns out.
00:27:14.000 That is a temp job.
00:27:16.000 Not because you do it and then you're fired, but because you do it and then you die.
00:27:19.000 If you're a Joe Biden's food taster.
00:27:21.000 Says Thomas Friedman.
00:27:22.000 I was speaking recently to Matt Dunn, founder of the Center on Rural Innovation, which promotes digital economic development in small town America.
00:27:28.000 He was telling me about a Vermont community near his home with a great public library.
00:27:32.000 You could drive by on any Sunday.
00:27:33.000 The parking lot would be full, he said.
00:27:34.000 There was just one problem.
00:27:35.000 The library was closed on Sundays.
00:27:37.000 The parking lot was full of cars with kids doing their homework and adults doing their office work, using the wireless connectivity spilling out of the empty building because the rural homes lacked high-speed broadband.
00:27:46.000 That is why I want to talk today about Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
00:27:51.000 Harris is too smart and energetic to be just the Vice President, a position with few official responsibilities.
00:27:55.000 I'd love to see President-elect Joe Biden give her a more important job, his de facto Secretary of Rural Development, in charge of closing the opportunity gap, the connectivity gap, the learning gap, the startup gap, The anger and alienation gap between rural America and the rest of, yes, I'm sure Kamala Harris, former senator from California and AG of California, of California, is going to be the person to tackle the gap between rural and urban in terms of alienation and anger.
00:28:20.000 Also, I love the idea that she is well qualified for anything beyond her job.
00:28:23.000 She wasn't even qualified to be senator from California.
00:28:25.000 She's a terrible senator.
00:28:27.000 Awful.
00:28:27.000 She's a terrible AG.
00:28:29.000 And then she was plucked from obscurity to be this vice-presidential candidate solely on the basis of her race and her sex.
00:28:37.000 That is not me saying that.
00:28:38.000 That was Joe Biden saying that.
00:28:41.000 She deserves a more important job.
00:28:43.000 She doesn't even deserve the job she's going to get.
00:28:45.000 Come on.
00:28:46.000 Come on.
00:28:47.000 But they are itching to get Biden off the stage.
00:28:49.000 I mean, my goodness.
00:28:50.000 My goodness.
00:28:52.000 The war on UFers, it is just beginning.
00:28:55.000 And by the way, the media are going to push it from every possible angle.
00:28:55.000 It is just beginning.
00:28:58.000 So a couple angles they're pushing it from today.
00:29:00.000 If you are a conservative, if you're somebody who thought about voting for Trump or did vote for Trump, or you just don't mirror the prevailing values of Joe Biden and the Democratic Party.
00:29:09.000 Well then, there's two angles.
00:29:10.000 The media are pushing one angle, which is, there's gonna be a new Republican Party.
00:29:13.000 And it's gonna be taken over by the best, the best available Republicans.
00:29:17.000 You know, the people who didn't vote for Trump, and who held out, and who hated Trump, and who yelled at him a lot.
00:29:21.000 Those people are gonna be the people who take over the Republican Party.
00:29:25.000 And so today, the New York Times is pushing an op-ed from Evan McMuffin.
00:29:28.000 Sorry, it's McMullen, McMullen.
00:29:31.000 Sorry about that.
00:29:32.000 Former CIA operations officer and chief policy director for the House Republican Conference, He ran against Trump in 2016 and earned one half of one vote.
00:29:40.000 He has a piece in the New York Times saying if the Republican Party doesn't shape up, we will challenge it.
00:29:46.000 Note to Evan McMuffin, you did try to challenge that in 2016.
00:29:52.000 And respect, you tried it.
00:29:54.000 It didn't go great for you.
00:29:55.000 So I'm wondering what you think your base of support is in taking over the Republican Party post-Trump presidency.
00:30:01.000 What exactly is your base of support to come in and scream at everybody who voted for Trump that they're a bad person?
00:30:06.000 Because that's kind of what you were doing for years on end.
00:30:09.000 And as somebody who didn't vote for Trump in 2016 and did vote for Trump in 2020, it's off-putting.
00:30:14.000 It's silly.
00:30:15.000 But don't worry.
00:30:16.000 You know who's going to lead the Republican Party in the future?
00:30:18.000 It's going to be people, apparently, according to the New York Times, like Evan McMullin.
00:30:22.000 So says Evan McMullin in his op-ed.
00:30:45.000 So says Evan McMullin in his in the semi-spotlight.
00:30:52.000 I hope you've enjoyed the strange new respect that Republicans receive shortly after yelling at Republicans.
00:30:58.000 If you want to get a headline today, if you're an obscure Republican announced that you're no longer a Republican, you'll be on MSNBC instantly.
00:31:04.000 And then within five minutes, they'll be declaring you a racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe again if it turns out you're a conservative.
00:31:08.000 So good luck with that.
00:31:09.000 Speaking of which, Steve Schmidt, he is now re-registering as a Democrat, which makes sense.
00:31:18.000 He's been helping to elect Democrats since 2008 when he ran John McCain's campaign.
00:31:22.000 So, makes sense.
00:31:23.000 Now he's just gonna do it formally.
00:31:25.000 He said yesterday he was registering as a Democrat.
00:31:27.000 Well, don't let the door hit you on the way out, buddy.
00:31:30.000 I spent 29 years as a Republican.
00:31:33.000 I've spent two and a half as an Independent.
00:31:36.000 And later this afternoon, I will register as a member of the Democratic Party.
00:31:42.000 Wow.
00:31:43.000 And I'm doing that.
00:31:44.000 What a journey.
00:31:45.000 Because in America today, it's only the Democratic Party, which is the oldest political party in the world, It stands for the ideas and ideals of American liberty.
00:31:57.000 Oh, my God.
00:31:59.000 Oh, you're right.
00:32:00.000 It's the only the party that says that the government should run every aspect of your life and be involved in every aspect of your life.
00:32:05.000 That stands for liberty.
00:32:07.000 This is, by the way, that's him talking to David Plouffe, former Obama staffer.
00:32:10.000 And I love Plouffe just fluffing him right there.
00:32:12.000 Oh, wow.
00:32:13.000 Wow.
00:32:14.000 That's a big announcement.
00:32:15.000 Steve Schmidt, who's been completely irrelevant to all conservatives and Republicans for literally several years.
00:32:21.000 Yes, yes.
00:32:22.000 Huge move.
00:32:23.000 Okay, guys, don't worry.
00:32:24.000 They're not taking over the Republican Party, but you're going to see the Democrats try to prop up figures like this.
00:32:29.000 Meanwhile, your illustrious media betters, they're going to continue just sneering at you and treating you like garbage.
00:32:37.000 And it doesn't matter how conciliatory you are, they will still treat you like garbage.
00:32:41.000 Trump didn't come out of nowhere, gang.
00:32:42.000 And whatever happens with Trump in the future, it ain't the end of the backlash that is only just beginning in this country.
00:32:48.000 Okay, the backlash is just beginning.
00:32:49.000 Not a question.
00:32:50.000 And we do all access every night at DailyWare for subscribers.
00:32:54.000 And so I was hanging out with some subscribers last night and somebody asked me how I can remain optimistic in the face of the fact that Democrats have taken over so many of our major institutions and in the face of the Electoral College vote yesterday.
00:33:04.000 And what I said is, I think the backlash is only beginning.
00:33:06.000 I think that the Democrats have succeeded in taking over the highest levels of our institutions from Hollywood to the media to social media.
00:33:13.000 And I think that's a problem.
00:33:14.000 The fact is, Republicans should hold the Senate.
00:33:18.000 Republicans overperformed in the House.
00:33:19.000 Republicans overperformed in state houses across the country despite all of that.
00:33:23.000 Imagine if Republicans were to actually fight back on the cultural level.
00:33:26.000 Imagine if Republicans were to actually fight back against the institutional dominance of the left.
00:33:31.000 The backlash is only beginning.
00:33:32.000 The left is pushing too far.
00:33:33.000 They're pushing too far.
00:33:34.000 We'll get to the media in just one second because, again, you keep saying that you want unity and then you spit in the eye of anyone who even reaches across the aisle.
00:33:42.000 It's pretty impressive.

00:33:57.000 Now, I'm not somebody who falls back to sleep easily at night.

00:35:01.000 Okay.
00:35:02.000 We're gonna get to the media and then to some of the social war stuff, the culture war stuff that continues to animate the country because Trump won in 2016 thanks to the culture wars.
00:35:12.000 It wasn't about economics.
00:35:13.000 I really don't think it was.
00:35:14.000 It wasn't about the rural-urban divide.
00:35:16.000 It was about a culture divide between What Charles Murray once called the new upper class and the new lower class.
00:35:22.000 What he meant was a cultural upper crust of college graduates who have decided to speak their own language versus everybody else.
00:35:27.000 We'll get to that in just a moment.
00:35:28.000 First, on Monday, December 21st, the historical docuseries Apollo 11, What We Saw, will soon be available exclusively at dailywire.com.

00:35:50.000 It takes a detailed look at the Apollo 11 mission to land a man on the moon.

00:35:58.000 The podcast explores one of America's greatest accomplishments through the eyes of the millions of Americans who lived through it.
00:36:04.000 It's a dramatically inspiring story and it is fantastic to watch with your loved one.

00:36:32.000 You're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.
00:36:36.000 So in line with the theme that the Democrats and the media want you to unite with the Democrats, you effers, the media have been pushing, you know, quote unquote, moderate Republicans and anti-Trump Republicans as the replacement.
00:36:52.000 Bye.
00:36:53.000 For the mainstream Republican Party.
00:36:55.000 Also, on the other hand, they are basically just spitting in the eyes of Republicans.
00:36:59.000 So, excellent example yesterday.
00:37:01.000 A couple of excellent examples from esteemed journalists.
00:37:04.000 The objective media.
00:37:06.000 So yesterday, Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, went on the floor of the Senate and he acknowledged that Joe Biden was the President-Elect because the Electoral College had voted for him.
00:37:12.000 So this is true.
00:37:14.000 Here is Mitch McConnell doing just that.
00:37:16.000 This would be a conciliatory move from Mitch McConnell, right?
00:37:19.000 I mean, he's doing what he's supposed to do.
00:37:20.000 He's congratulating the guy who just won the Electoral College vote.
00:37:24.000 Many millions of us had hoped the presidential election would yield a different result.
00:37:31.000 But our system of government has processes to determine who will be sworn in on January the 20th.
00:37:39.000 The Electoral College has spoken.
00:37:44.000 So today I want to congratulate President-elect Joe Biden.
00:37:48.000 The President-elect is no stranger to the Senate.
00:37:51.000 He's devoted himself to public service for many years.
00:37:55.000 Okay, so that was McConnell trying to be gracious?
00:37:59.000 Naturally, that means that the Democrats are going to immediately spit on him.
00:38:02.000 That's it, because that's the way our politics works.
00:38:05.000 Why won't you just acknowledge the reality?
00:38:06.000 Why won't you just say what we want you to say?
00:38:08.000 And then he says what they want him to say, like, because he's an ass!
00:38:10.000 Like, what?
00:38:11.000 So here is Kamala Harris sitting one million feet from, who is this, Barbara?
00:38:11.000 Hold on.
00:38:17.000 That's not Barbara Walters.
00:38:18.000 I can't remember who that is.
00:38:19.000 Is it Andrea Mitchell?
00:38:20.000 A little hard to tell.
00:38:21.000 In any case, here is Kamala Harris sitting on the other side of the planet from whoever is interviewing her.
00:38:29.000 Mitch McConnell and Joe Biden have spoken.
00:38:30.000 He has acknowledged that he is the president-elect.
00:38:33.000 How important do you think that is?
00:38:35.000 I think it's critically important.
00:38:36.000 danger.
00:38:57.000 And that's what's most important.
00:38:59.000 And so let's move forward.
00:39:00.000 OK, so I was Robin Roberts speaking in that clip.
00:39:04.000 Yes, it's gracious.
00:39:04.000 I wish you'd done it earlier.
00:39:05.000 Now we can move forward.
00:39:07.000 Except that nobody really wants to move forward.
00:39:09.000 They just want to yell.
00:39:10.000 And then you get Anderson Cooper again, a member of our esteemed journalistic establishment.
00:39:14.000 Serving up a slow clap for McConnell.
00:39:15.000 So McConnell does what he is supposed to do, according to the media, which is he's supposed to acknowledge that Biden has now won the Electoral College and call him president-elect and all that.
00:39:22.000 So McConnell does it.
00:39:23.000 And the media greets that with, well, you know, he should have done it.
00:39:27.000 What a jerk.
00:39:28.000 What?
00:39:29.000 Why would anyone try to please you people?
00:39:31.000 There is no purpose.
00:39:33.000 None.
00:39:34.000 Here is Anderson Cooper, another objective journalist.
00:39:37.000 So, six weeks, dozens of court cases, two Supreme Court rejections, one fascist rally, four stabbings, countless threats against election officials who are just doing their jobs, and more than $200 million in deceptive Trump fundraising since the election.
00:39:50.000 A slow clap, everyone, for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
00:39:54.000 After all, it's not like he said anything that wasn't obvious the Saturday after the election, five weeks ago, when news organizations called a race for President-elect Biden.
00:40:02.000 Except for how there's a legal process, and he wasn't President-elect Biden until the Electoral College voted.
00:40:07.000 Except for that.
00:40:08.000 I mean, technically, McConnell's a little early, because he's not actually President-elect until the House ratifies the vote on January 6th.
00:40:14.000 Doesn't matter.
00:40:14.000 That doesn't matter.
00:40:15.000 So, Kayleigh McEnany yesterday was at the White House and she was quite properly calling out the media for the fact that they are damned liars.
00:40:22.000 For the fact that they covered up the Hunter Biden story for weeks approaching the election.
00:40:25.000 And then, immediately after the election, they started covering the Hunter Biden story because now it was safe for the groundhog to emerge from his hidey hole.
00:40:31.000 So here is Kayleigh McEnany shellacking the press yesterday.
00:40:35.000 On October 15th, you had a New York Times headline that said, Trump said to be warned that he was being given Russian disinformation over Hunter Biden.
00:40:45.000 Now, December 10th, just a few months later, New York Times headline, investigation of Hunter Biden is likely to hang over Biden as he takes office.
00:40:54.000 Washington Post on October 16th.
00:40:56.000 The headline read, the truth behind the Hunter Biden non-scandal.
00:41:00.000 Now you have the Washington Post headline that says this, Hunter Biden tax probe examining Chinese business deals.
00:41:07.000 So that all happens to be true.
00:41:09.000 And the media gets super mad, super duper duper mad.
00:41:13.000 So Jim Acosta, and no one is going to fall into obscurity faster than Jim Acosta, right?
00:41:18.000 And this guy's had his moment because his entire moment was pretending to be Sam Donaldson or Dan Rather during the Reagan era.
00:41:24.000 He's going to speak truth to power.
00:41:25.000 Well, now what happens when speaking truth to power means that he actually goes up and gives Joe Biden a shoulder massage.
00:41:30.000 So Jim Acosta, who loves Jim Acosta, he starts yelling at Kayleigh McEnany.
00:41:33.000 You talk about media disinformation.
00:41:35.000 You're disinformation!
00:41:36.000 You!
00:41:37.000 This whole court is out of order!
00:41:38.000 He's doing Al Pacino in Injustice for All.
00:41:40.000 Like, this ridiculous person.
00:41:41.000 This ridiculous, ridiculous person.
00:41:43.000 Here's Jim Acosta's final gasp.
00:41:45.000 Good for those who covered what was a story all along and not Russian disinformation.
00:41:49.000 Isn't it hypocritical for you to accuse others of disinformation when you spread it every day?
00:41:53.000 Yeah.
00:41:54.000 Oh, you're going to accuse others of disinformation when you say it every day.
00:41:57.000 It was like, oh, slay queen on Twitter the entire week.
00:41:59.000 Oh, look at you, Acosta.
00:42:00.000 That's excellent.
00:42:01.000 So just to note, she's walking out of the room when he says this thing.
00:42:05.000 That means he's a hero.
00:42:07.000 When Peter Doocy of Fox News asks Joe Biden about when he knew his son was under investigation and Biden turns back to him and says, thanks for the congratulations.
00:42:15.000 Then that's just Biden also slaying Queen.
00:42:17.000 So you may notice that there's a bit of a bias in how exactly we approach reporters who ask questions after people leave the podium.
00:42:23.000 Then you get Don Lemon, objective journalism-ing up the wazoo, saying, yeah, girl, bye, girl.
00:42:28.000 Well, I mean, when I think of, like, truly great journalists, when I think of television voices of authority, it goes like, you know, Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite, and the girl bye guy.
00:42:39.000 Does the president acknowledge that Joe Biden is the president-elect?
00:42:42.000 Does he have any plans to invite him here to the White House?
00:42:45.000 The president is still involved in ongoing litigation related to the election.
00:42:49.000 Yesterday's vote was one step in the constitutional process, so I will leave that to him and refer you to the campaign for more on that litigation.
00:42:56.000 The president, again, is pursuing ongoing litigation.
00:42:59.000 Would refer you to the campaign for further.
00:43:01.000 Still pursuing ongoing litigation at the moment.
00:43:06.000 Did you know she also works for a girl?
00:43:08.000 Bye.
00:43:10.000 I mean, if there's no other girl, bye.
00:43:15.000 Buh-bye.
00:43:17.000 So much disinformation coming from the podium.
00:43:23.000 It's every day.
00:43:24.000 It comes out, reads propaganda.
00:43:28.000 Talks about what the media is doing.
00:43:31.000 Criticizes the media.
00:43:33.000 This is what you should be covering.
00:43:37.000 I think we got this.
00:43:38.000 You used to sit here on the set with us.
00:43:40.000 I think we got it.
00:43:42.000 When you sat here with us, you thought we had it.
00:43:45.000 You were happy to be here, but now we don't know what we're doing.
00:43:50.000 Girl, bye.
00:43:52.000 The press are only for the press.
00:43:53.000 They're not for telling you the truth.
00:43:54.000 They are for the press, right?
00:43:55.000 The reason Don Lemon is upset is because, how dare you?
00:43:57.000 How dare you, madam, suggest that we provide disinformation, as we did for several long years, about Russia, and about white supremacism, inside the Trump administration, and all that.
00:44:07.000 Girl, bye.
00:44:10.000 Again, slay.
00:44:10.000 Just amazing slaying going on from the members of our media.
00:44:15.000 Because the bottom line is it's about scorn for you.
00:44:18.000 It's about scorn for anyone who disagrees with them.
00:44:21.000 Because here's the thing we have to understand about members of the media and members of, again, what Charles Murray has called the new upper class.
00:44:27.000 The new upper class is united not merely by the fact that they have college degrees and not merely by the fact that they work in service industries and they get to go to their jobs while you cannot go to your job during COVID.
00:44:39.000 That's not all that unifies them.
00:44:40.000 What unifies them is a particular language.
00:44:42.000 They have these linguistic signifiers.
00:44:45.000 They speak sentences that don't make sense to normal human beings because they're not meant to make sense to normal human beings.
00:44:50.000 It's like a secret code.
00:44:51.000 You can tell because they're the people who will put their pronouns in their bios.
00:44:55.000 They're the same people who will drop terms like systemic and institutional racism without any actual explanation of what they mean.
00:45:02.000 People who will say that anti-racism means to discriminate on the basis of race.
00:45:07.000 It's those kinds of folks, folks who use a completely different set of language, who look down on you.
00:45:12.000 This is a new upper class there, what was once termed by James Burnham, the managerial elite.
00:45:18.000 By the way, never living by those same positions.
00:45:20.000 They've created their own case, and this case looks down on you.
00:45:24.000 They scorn you, and they wish to ramrod their positions on life down to you.
00:45:28.000 By the way, never living by those same positions.
00:45:30.000 One of the hilarious things about the new upper class, as Charles Murray refers to it in his book, Coming Apart, one of the things about the new upper class is that they are statistically speaking more likely to be married.
00:45:41.000 They are more likely to have a job.
00:45:43.000 They are more likely to live almost conservative lifestyles, but they are the least likely to suggest that anybody else ought to do those things.
00:45:50.000 In fact, They see their virtue in precisely that.
00:45:53.000 They see their virtue in this soft bigotry of low expectations they extend to the rest of society, and in their all-powerful god of tolerance, meaning that they are going to tolerate anybody who agrees with them and not tolerate anybody who disagrees with them.
00:46:07.000 And this brings us to the culture wars.
00:46:09.000 Okay, so the culture wars are ongoing.
00:46:11.000 The left is not going to stop here.
00:46:13.000 It's not going to stop.
00:46:14.000 Everybody thinks that politics is about politics.
00:46:16.000 Politics is no longer about politics because politics stopped being about politics the minute that politics started entering into every arena of American life.
00:46:23.000 Now, politics is about the culture.
00:46:25.000 Because anytime you engage with the culture, you cannot escape politics.
00:46:28.000 Literally anytime.
00:46:29.000 Right?
00:46:30.000 At your job, you cannot escape.
00:46:31.000 I get letters every single day.
00:46:33.000 Many of them.
00:46:34.000 Letters, calls, texts, every single day from people who say, I'm interviewing for a job and people are asking me to parrot woke propaganda, what do I do?
00:46:42.000 I'm in a social situation and family members are being jerks about my politics.
00:46:45.000 What do I do?
00:46:46.000 I'm in college and I just want to have a cadre of friends, but I can't mention that I'm a conservative.
00:46:51.000 What do I do?
00:46:52.000 This happens all the time and the backlash is coming because the left has basically declared itself a religious cult.
00:46:59.000 The radical left has, and they've taken over the auspices of the mainstream left and all institutional channels.
00:47:05.000 And you can see it happening in real time.
00:47:07.000 And the backlash is going to be extraordinary.
00:47:10.000 Everybody on the left thinks the backlash was Trump.
00:47:11.000 The backlash was not Trump.
00:47:12.000 Trump was the beginning of the backlash.
00:47:14.000 He is certainly not the end of the backlash.
00:47:15.000 Get ready for the backlash.
00:47:17.000 So the left is just going to continue pushing because they feel their oats right now.
00:47:20.000 They think that they can push and push and push and nobody will ever push back on them.
00:47:25.000 This is why you see, for example, Andrew Cuomo banning the sale of Confederate flags.
00:47:30.000 Now, I'm not a Confederate flag fan.
00:47:32.000 I've been saying this for quite a while.
00:47:34.000 I understand both sides of the argument.
00:47:35.000 I understand folks who look at the Confederate flag and see it as a symbol of slavery because it in fact was a symbol of slavery during the Confederacy.
00:47:42.000 And I see the perspective of Southerners who say this is Southern heritage and I don't think of it as a symbol of slavery because my grandpa flew it over his tank at the Battle of the Bulge.
00:47:49.000 I get that too.
00:47:50.000 I'm not a fan of the Confederate flag generally because it is open to interpretation that way.
00:47:55.000 However, It is an aspect of free speech in America that one, you can fly the confederate flag and two, it is just an aspect of a free speech culture that if somebody's flying a confederate flag, you probably shouldn't make the assumption that they're a baseline rote racist.
00:48:08.000 Okay, but Andrew Cuomo is not doing that.
00:48:10.000 So Andrew Cuomo just signed a bill banning the sale of confederate flags in his state.
00:48:15.000 He signed a bill into law aiming at banning the sale of hate symbols such as the Confederate flag or the swastika on state property, even while admitting the new edict might clash with the First Amendment and be struck down as unconstitutional.
00:48:26.000 So, he doesn't care about the First Amendment, you see.
00:48:29.000 It's all about the virtue signaling to all of his lefty friends.
00:48:32.000 First of all, how many, like really, how many Confederate flags and swastikas are being sold on state property in New York?
00:48:37.000 How many?
00:48:38.000 Two?
00:48:41.000 It's a completely unnecessary piece of legislation, but the goal here is to signify that Andrew Cuomo is against bad things.
00:48:47.000 And you, if you don't like Andrew Cuomo, you are in favor of the bad things.
00:48:51.000 And you, if you think the First Amendment protects activity you don't necessarily like, it's not that you're pro-freedom, it's that you are pro-evil.
00:48:56.000 So Cuomo said, this country faces a pervasive, growing attitude of intolerance and hate, what I have referred to in the body politic as an American cancer.
00:49:05.000 By limiting the display and sale of the Confederate flag, Nazi swastika and other symbols of hatred from being displayed or sold on state property, including the state fairgrounds, this will help safeguard New Yorkers from the fear-installing effects of these abhorrent symbols, fear-installing effects.
00:49:18.000 He says, well, you know, we have to be careful about the First Amendment, but you know, that's a secondary concern.
00:49:25.000 Because, of course, for Andrew Cuomo, it is all about the virtue signaling associated with his particular perspective.
00:49:30.000 It is not about preserving American freedoms.
00:49:34.000 And these sorts of stories are blanketing the country.
00:49:36.000 It's not just legislators like Andrew Cuomo or executives like Andrew Cuomo.
00:49:40.000 The fact is that much softer versions of this can be found everywhere.
00:49:44.000 It's astonishing how much this ideology of the woke class has infused every area of American life, and truly incredible.
00:49:54.000 Okay, so this is the question that I get the most, and it is now coming up everywhere.
00:49:58.000 Okay, the cultural dominance of the left is not being challenged, and when the right fights back, it's gonna be vicious, and it's gonna be brutal, and it ought to be.
00:50:06.000 Okay, so here's a letter from a person who will remain unnamed.
00:50:10.000 Okay, he says, I'm a daily listener and wanted to thank you for the work you do.
00:50:12.000 Today, I had my seventh interview with a large company out of a liberal city.
00:50:15.000 I won't name the city.
00:50:17.000 They recently opened an office here.
00:50:19.000 The interview was with their COO.
00:50:21.000 To be honest, I felt like I had the job if I was getting this far into the process.
00:50:24.000 Unfortunately, I'm now hesitating with my excitement for the future with this company.
00:50:28.000 The second question in my interview was, quote, I answered the question the best I could.
00:50:36.000 I'm not sure how anyone can give examples for this.
00:50:38.000 She went on to tell me she has hired someone from Google to come in and end systemic racism within the company.
00:50:44.000 Tomorrow, I'll be delivering a one-hour PowerPoint presentation for a panel of people for my final interview.
00:50:48.000 This is truly uncharted territory for America.
00:50:49.000 I really don't know where we're heading.
00:50:51.000 Needless to say, my presentation and narrative for my final interview has changed direction.
00:50:55.000 The cultural cram-down that is happening here, when you're being asked on job interviews, Just a normal job interview.
00:51:00.000 You're not working for some sort of 501c3.
00:51:03.000 A normal job interview, you're being asked how you're fighting to end systemic racism in the United States, which, by the way, is not possible as an individual according to Ibram Kendi and Robin DiAngelo both.
00:51:11.000 In order to quote-unquote end systemic racism, as a white person, you're supposed to both sit down and shut up and also mirror the beliefs of Robin DiAngelo and Ibram Kendi and fight against the system itself.
00:51:21.000 My answer if somebody said, how are you fighting systemic racism?
00:51:24.000 What I would say is, according to Robin DiAngelo and Ibram Kendi, the only way to fight systemic racism is to tear down the capitalist system.
00:51:30.000 So my plan is to enter your company and completely wreck it.
00:51:33.000 That is my plan to end systemic racism.
00:51:35.000 Your company is part of the problem.
00:51:37.000 And then dare them not to hire you.
00:51:39.000 And then call them racist if they don't hire you, right?
00:51:41.000 Because that is the backwards logic that is now being applied.
00:51:44.000 And it really is not, of course, about what they think you're going to do or that they want you to quote-unquote end systemic racism.
00:51:50.000 They don't even know what that means.
00:51:51.000 It's all about do you speak the language?
00:51:54.000 Do you speak the language?
00:51:55.000 And the language is becoming ever more extreme, ever more radical, and ever more difficult to understand.
00:52:00.000 Take, for example, this brilliant Twitter exchange.
00:52:02.000 This is one of my favorite Twitter exchanges of all time.
00:52:05.000 So there is a feminist named Liz Plank A Canadian author and award-winning journalist who used to be a political correspondent at Vox.com.
00:52:14.000 So she was very, very angry about the fact that so many people agreed with people like me or Joseph Epstein or Tucker Carlson that Dr. Jill Biden is not a real doctor because she's not a real doctor.
00:52:23.000 She has an Ed.D.
00:52:24.000 in education from University of Delaware.
00:52:28.000 Joy.
00:52:29.000 Okay, so Liz Plank wanted to say it was misogynist to point out that this is not an actual like being a doctor thing.
00:52:38.000 It's non-feminist.
00:52:40.000 It does not matter, by the way, that a huge percentage of people in medical schools, I believe a bare majority now, of people in medical schools are women.
00:52:46.000 But that doesn't matter.
00:52:47.000 It is sexist to say that the term doctor should really only be applied to medical doctors.
00:52:52.000 So she tweeted out, Liz Plank, MSC.
00:52:56.000 Ooh, MSC.
00:52:57.000 What an absolutely incredible degree that is.
00:53:01.000 Wow.
00:53:01.000 I mean, just shocking.
00:53:03.000 So she tweeted out, That she tweeted out, it's a master's of science degree.
00:53:09.000 She tweeted out, can every woman who sees this change, sees this, change their handles to reflect their credentials?
00:53:17.000 He started seeing people put out like their master's degrees.
00:53:20.000 We're all very impressed.
00:53:21.000 This is all part of that new upper class I'm talking about.
00:53:24.000 People who identify by their credentials because it gives them cachet in the circles in which they travel.
00:53:29.000 It's the reason, by the way, that Dr. Jill Biden wants to call herself Dr. Jill.
00:53:32.000 And she's openly said this, is that she wanted more respect.
00:53:35.000 And so she started calling herself Dr. Jill and got that EdD in education.
00:53:39.000 And so, one woman wrote back.
00:53:41.000 And so Liz Plank said, can every woman who sees this change their handles to reflect their credentials?
00:53:45.000 And this one woman wrote back quite properly, if I dropped out of high school, can you recommend some initials to put at the end of my name that will make me worth something as a person?
00:53:54.000 Which is just a devastating rebuttal.
00:53:56.000 Because the fact is that you should not be characterized as like a special person based on your degree, right?
00:54:00.000 This is just basic credentialism.
00:54:02.000 So Liz Plank wrote this back.
00:54:03.000 This is just, it's a wonderful entree into the bizarro linguistic world of the social justice warrior left and the new upper class.
00:54:11.000 Here's what Liz Plank says, quote, trying to correct the systemic and historical erasure of women's contributions and accomplishments doesn't and shouldn't preclude us from also fighting against the myth of meritocracy.
00:54:24.000 Wow!
00:54:26.000 Man, is that some argle-bargle right there.
00:54:28.000 My goodness.
00:54:29.000 That is gobbledygook.
00:54:30.000 Now, I can decode that for you if you'd like.
00:54:32.000 So here's what she means.
00:54:33.000 She means that if we don't pay attention to the fact that Liz Plank is an MSC, first of all, I don't pay attention to dudes who have an MSC.
00:54:40.000 I certainly don't pay attention to dudes who have an EDD.
00:54:43.000 I mean, like, that's a degree that fewer people have heard of.
00:54:46.000 Then, like, if you say that somebody has an EDD to somebody, they'll ask if they have erectile dysfunction.
00:54:51.000 It is that uncommon of a degree.
00:54:53.000 In any case, Liz Plank is making two separate contentions.
00:54:56.000 One, she says that you have to put the title at the end of your name in order to prevent the historical erasure of women's accomplishments.
00:55:05.000 Because if we don't call Dr. Jill, Dr. Jill, this means that we're erasing her accomplishments.
00:55:08.000 Also, that should not preclude us from making the separate and mutually exclusive argument that the meritocracy is bad.
00:55:16.000 So you cannot have this both ways.
00:55:18.000 If you are talking about Accomplishments and contributions and the need for a meritocracy?
00:55:25.000 She says that we should also fight against the myth of a meritocracy because there is no meritocracy nor could there be a meritocracy.
00:55:31.000 Okay, if all this sounds like ridiculous crap, that's because it is ridiculous crap.
00:55:35.000 But the point is that you are supposed to pledge fealty to the ridiculous crap and you are supposed to speak the language of the ridiculous crap in order to be accepted into the woke circles of higher power.
00:55:45.000 Here's the problem.
00:55:46.000 The more radical that circle of higher power becomes, the more Americans are going to say, you know what?
00:55:49.000 I don't want to be in your circle.
00:55:50.000 I don't like your circle.
00:55:51.000 Your circle is dumb.
00:55:52.000 So we're just going to stay out here.
00:55:53.000 And you know what?
00:55:54.000 We're not going to.
00:55:54.000 Pay attention to the institutions you control.
00:55:56.000 We're going to move away from those institutions.
00:55:58.000 We're going to build our own.
00:55:59.000 There are more of us than there are of you.
00:56:00.000 We're not going to remain silent.
00:56:02.000 And if you want to not hire me because I couldn't answer your dumb question about how I'm ending systemic racism in America because I'm working at a bank or something, then guess what?
00:56:09.000 I'll just go work at a different bank.
00:56:11.000 Guess what?
00:56:11.000 I won't work with you.
00:56:13.000 And have fun hiring a bunch of degree holders in woke social justice who feel that it is by necessity their job to make your business less efficient because capitalism is the source of all evil.
00:56:24.000 Like, really, go for it.
00:56:26.000 The way this has infused so many portions of American life is gonna drive a backlash like you've never seen.
00:56:31.000 Here, another example.
00:56:33.000 Yesterday, the New York Teachers Union, New York City Teachers Union, passed a Black Lives Matter at school resolution It called for many things.
00:56:42.000 Among the many things that it called for was, quote, So, that's right.
00:56:44.000 Quote, black villages, we are committed to disrupting the Western prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and villages that collectively care for one another and especially our children to the degree that mothers, parents and children are comfortable.
00:57:00.000 So that's right, the New York City Teachers Union passed a Black Lives Matter at school resolution calling for the disruption of the nuclear family, which makes perfect sense.
00:57:11.000 I mean, if you really wanna make lives better for black kids, what you definitely need to do is disrupt the nuclear family.
00:57:16.000 It's worked wonders for black children all across America.
00:57:19.000 The elevation of single motherhood from a 20% phenomenon in 1960 to a plus 70% phenomenon in 2020 has been absolutely excellent, particularly for young black boys.
00:57:29.000 Well done, Black Lives Matter crowd.
00:57:30.000 Well done, woke social justice warriors.
00:57:32.000 Yes, what is deeply necessary is to undermine the fundamental family structure that provides boys, particularly, with some form of guidance.
00:57:40.000 Solid stuff right there.
00:57:41.000 Really, really good stuff.
00:57:43.000 And meanwhile, in social justice warrior land, also a San Francisco high school has decided to rename itself.
00:57:49.000 So San Francisco, this is according to the UK Daily Mail, decided to rename Abraham Lincoln High School.
00:57:56.000 And you're saying to yourself, wait, isn't Abraham Lincoln the president who freed the slaves?
00:57:59.000 Like Civil War guy, Abraham Lincoln?
00:58:01.000 Like not some other Abraham Lincoln I've never heard of?
00:58:03.000 Oh yeah, no, no, it's that Abraham Lincoln, but he's bad now.
00:58:06.000 San Francisco is going to rename Abraham Lincoln High School.
00:58:10.000 Because the former president did not demonstrate that black lives mattered to him.
00:58:16.000 I'm pretty sure they did, considering that he fought a civil war to end slavery.
00:58:22.000 That seems like a pretty good indicator that somebody is kind of concerned about black lives, that he didn't want them to remain enslaved.
00:58:28.000 But apparently not good enough for the San Francisco Woke.
00:58:31.000 Also the Woke-ocrats at the San Francisco Unified School District.
00:58:34.000 They've decided not only to rename the Abraham Lincoln High School, Because of his treatment of indigenous peoples through the 1862 Homestead Act and the Pacific Railway Act.
00:58:44.000 But also, but also, they are going to rename a bunch of other schools.
00:58:50.000 44 schools will be renamed.
00:58:52.000 What are these schools?
00:58:53.000 George Washington will be renamed, of course, because George Washington was a slaveholder.
00:58:57.000 Yes, of course, George Washington was also the father of the country, but, you know.
00:59:01.000 You know, the people in San Francisco, they're better than he was as a person.
00:59:05.000 If they had lived in 1790, they would have been better people than George Washington.
00:59:08.000 They're the greatest people who have ever lived.
00:59:10.000 Herbert Hoover High School is going to be renamed.
00:59:13.000 That's going to be renamed for some unspecified reason that I can't exactly explain.
00:59:16.000 Thomas Edison will be renamed because Thomas Edison was bad.
00:59:20.000 And also, Dianne Feinstein's name will be stripped from the Dianne Feinstein Elementary School for once allowing the Confederate flag to fly outside City Hall.
00:59:30.000 So Dianne Feinstein is not woke enough for this gang.
00:59:32.000 It's gonna be fun.
00:59:33.000 I am looking forward to, in like 10 years, when they have to strip Barack Obama's name off of things.
00:59:37.000 Because when he started his presidency, he wasn't pro same-sex marriage.
00:59:41.000 Like, that's gonna be fun.
00:59:42.000 That will be enjoyable.
00:59:44.000 So they're stripping all names off all things.
00:59:45.000 This is just Marxism.
00:59:47.000 It is just commie bullcrap.
00:59:49.000 But, again, this earns you... You have now seen history through the eyes of the oppressed.
00:59:54.000 And this means that we have to take away all the good things that have happened in history, and we have to smear them through the mud.
01:00:00.000 And this is gonna make the world a better place.
01:00:02.000 Speak the language.
01:00:04.000 Speak and repeat.
01:00:05.000 And if you don't speak and repeat, this means that you are a bad person.
01:00:09.000 This means that you cannot be among us, the woke, the cadre of the brilliant moral arbiters of the future of the United States.
01:00:19.000 Speak and repeat.
01:00:20.000 And by the way, you can be just as sensitive as you want, but if you make a mistake, they'll come after you.
01:00:24.000 So here is an example.
01:00:26.000 Shawn Mendes.
01:00:27.000 Okay, so Shawn Mendes is apparently some sort of a singer.
01:00:31.000 As you well know, I am not a follower of today's pop culture other than being a platinum award-winning rap artist.
01:00:37.000 Shawn Mendes.
01:00:38.000 I had to apologize to Sam Smith.
01:00:40.000 So Sam Smith is a singer.
01:00:42.000 He is a gay man.
01:00:45.000 He also recently declared himself gender fluid and said he wanted to use the terms they and them to refer to him, which is silly because he's an individual human being.
01:00:53.000 Also, he has not changed his biology.
01:00:55.000 He remains a gay man.
01:00:57.000 Nonetheless, being a gender fluid being, Right, being a magical unicorn.
01:01:03.000 Sam Smith was now owed an apology by Shawn Mendes.
01:01:05.000 Because Shawn Mendes committed the egregious sin of saying he.
01:01:05.000 Why?
01:01:09.000 Now, I know most Americans, most people around the world actually, look at that and they're like, what now?
01:01:13.000 Isn't that a dude?
01:01:14.000 And yes, that is a dude, Sam Smith.
01:01:17.000 But if you say that he is a dude, he gets very angry apparently.
01:01:21.000 And if you wish to be welcomed into the halls of social power, you have to abide by the graces of the language.
01:01:26.000 So Shawn Mendes put out a statement.
01:01:28.000 Oh, Sam Smith, I'm so sorry for referring, two Fs, to you as a he for your jingle bell introduction.
01:01:34.000 It absolutely slipped my mind.
01:01:35.000 Won't happen again, no apostrophe.
01:01:37.000 Sending you so much love.
01:01:38.000 Also, you absolutely are one of the funniest people I've ever met, two hearts.
01:01:43.000 I mean, that is an egregious sin.
01:01:43.000 Wow.
01:01:44.000 When you call a man he, not even a man who identifies as a woman, just a man who identifies as a they, as a genderless being.
01:01:51.000 When you call him he, grave, grave sin.
01:01:54.000 These are our cultural arbiters.
01:01:56.000 I can't, the backlash to this stuff is going to be overwhelming and it should be overwhelming.
01:01:59.000 It is bad.
01:02:00.000 Okay?
01:02:01.000 It is not good for the country.
01:02:03.000 It is not good for the future of reason and decency.
01:02:07.000 It's bad stuff.
01:02:09.000 Alrighty.
01:02:09.000 Later today, we'll be back for two additional hours of content.
01:02:12.000 While you wait, head on over to The Matt Walsh Show today at 1.30 p.m.
