The Ben Shapiro Show - Biden’s Addled, Radical, Lying Press Conference | Ep. 1223

00:00:00.000 President Biden finally holds a press conference and looks absolutely awful.

00:00:03.000 Biden's obvious decline doesn't stop the left from pushing ever more radical cram downs and another Hunter Biden scandal breaks.

00:00:09.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.

00:00:10.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.

00:00:46.000 I'm getting the same great coverage for half the price right now.

00:00:49.000 You can get unlimited talk text, 6 gigs of data for just $30 a month.

00:00:52.000 See, here's the thing.

00:00:53.000 The other wireless companies, they're going to charge you for unlimited data.

00:00:56.000 You don't need unlimited data.

00:00:57.000 You're not using unlimited data.

00:00:58.000 All you really need is unlimited talk and unlimited text and six gigs of data for 30 bucks a month.

00:01:03.000 And here's the thing, if you go over on the data, you're worried about that?

00:01:05.000 Well, they're not going to charge you for it.

00:01:06.000 So what exactly do you have to lose?

00:01:08.000 There is a reason PeerTalk is the highest rated wireless company by Consumer Affairs.

00:01:31.000 Okay, so.

00:01:33.000 Yesterday, Joe Biden finally held his long-awaited press conference.

00:01:36.000 This is the longest that a president has waited to give an actual press conference in a century, and there's a reason.

00:01:41.000 Because he is not with us.

00:01:43.000 Okay, so, the last several nights, my baby has woken me up in the middle of the night, and she's kept me up for hours at a time.

00:01:43.000 He is not.

00:01:49.000 And you start to feel, when you're deprived of sleep, that you're beginning to lack brain function.

00:01:52.000 Well, Joe Biden does not lack for sleep.

00:01:55.000 Joe Biden is just in decline.

00:01:56.000 And, you know, I, honest to God, I hesitate to make fun of the guy, because it's really, Kind of tragic.

00:02:03.000 It really is sad.

00:02:04.000 I mean, he is the president of the United States.

00:02:06.000 He is the guy who is in charge, and he is clearly not in charge.

00:02:10.000 He is clearly not with us.

00:02:11.000 The media are doing whatever they can to cover over this fact.

00:02:14.000 It's amazing.

00:02:15.000 For many, many years in this country, whenever there would be a problem with the president, the press, trying to do its best to cover for that president, would just cover it up.

00:02:22.000 So Woodrow Wilson was basically a vegetable for the last couple of years of his administration, and Edith was actually running the country.

00:02:28.000 And the press, fearful of the American public knowing this, just refused to report it.

00:02:32.000 FDR was clearly in decline in the last years of his presidency, and the press, deeply afraid to cover that accurately, just didn't cover it. 0.95

00:02:39.000 JFK was a scuzzbag with women. 1.00

00:02:41.000 The press, in his pocket, just didn't cover it. 0.97

00:02:43.000 It was something that they just left under the table.

00:02:45.000 It's been a while in America since presidents got the kind of treatment that Joe Biden is getting right now.

00:02:51.000 Barack Obama got kid glove treatment from the press, but he wasn't obviously in decline.

00:02:54.000 There was not this massive gap between what he was publicly and what he was behind closed and how the media were covering him.

00:03:00.000 With Joe Biden, what is perfectly obvious to you in front of your eyes is being overtly denied by a media that is declaring that Joe Biden is not only with us, he is in control.

00:03:09.000 He is just he is cool as a cucumber.

00:03:11.000 And here's a piece from the Washington Post describing Joe Biden's press conference yesterday.

00:03:15.000 And then we're going to contrast our establishment media, who are just playing human centipede with Joe Biden at this point.

00:03:20.000 They are at the back of that human centipede.

00:03:22.000 Contrast that with what you actually saw with your own eyes, which was a president who is obviously in a state of cognitive decline.

00:03:30.000 A president who, again, I say this with no sense of excitement or joy or happiness in any way.

00:03:38.000 It is very sad to watch.

00:03:39.000 To watch, again, the elected president of the most powerful country in the history of humanity not be with us, and then to simultaneously be told that he is with us so he can push forward a radical agenda.

00:03:49.000 And that's what this is.

00:03:51.000 Because yesterday was a combination of incoherence and radicalism.

00:03:54.000 That's what the combo was.

00:03:55.000 The combination was a man who can't get through a sentence without a binder of notes in front of him and an agenda that would make LBJ blush.

00:04:03.000 It's incredible.

00:04:05.000 And the media are papering over that because they like the agenda.

00:04:07.000 The media are just, they're not even histonographers.

00:04:09.000 The media are indistinguishable from the press wing of the Democratic Party.

00:04:14.000 There shouldn't even be a White House press room.

00:04:15.000 They should just actually absorb the press into the White House. 0.99

00:04:18.000 Because at this point, the establishment press are a propaganda outlet for the President of the United States, so long as he is of the correct party.

00:04:24.000 It's an amazing thing to watch.

00:04:26.000 Here's the headline from the Washington Post today, after this press conference.

00:04:29.000 President's policy approach is, quote, the art of the possible.

00:04:33.000 I mean, they make the man sound as though he is a transformational leader who is aspirational and somebody who's gonna bring us forward to a brighter future, as opposed to a man who is managing his own decline as well as the decline of the nation in pretty poor fashion.

00:04:47.000 The Washington Post says, President Joe Biden, answering the 29th question in his first presidential news conference on the 65th day in office, offered one of the clearest distillations of his theory of his presidency and how its success will be measured.

00:04:58.000 It's clear, his distillation.

00:05:00.000 My God, what an incredible guy.

00:05:01.000 He answered 29 questions?

00:05:04.000 29, what an amazing, except the questions were all like, so Joe, how wonderful are you?

00:05:08.000 And how bad was Trump?

00:05:10.000 And can you explain just how transformational you're going to be?

00:05:14.000 So according to the Washington Post, he said, quote, it's a matter of timing.

00:05:17.000 He said in an answer in which he was referring to gun control measures, but could have been referencing almost any part of his agenda.

00:05:22.000 As you've all observed, successful presidents, better than me, have been successful in large part because they knew how to time what they're doing, order it, decide it, and prioritize what needs to be done.

00:05:31.000 The arc of history in Biden's view comes down to pragmatism.

00:05:34.000 This thing is just a press release.

00:05:36.000 It's a press release written by Jen Psaki.

00:05:38.000 But it's not.

00:05:38.000 It's in the Washington Post.

00:05:39.000 He's like Lincoln.

00:05:40.000 I mean, this guy, he's bringing together the best people.

00:05:42.000 and how he is looking at the coming years.

00:05:44.000 It illustrates how he can describe some Republican policies as sick and un-American, while not doing everything in his power to immediately stop them.

00:05:50.000 He called the filibuster a racist relic of Jim Crow, while also insisting he wasn't ready to remove it entirely in the hopes there would be some compromise.

00:05:56.000 Successful electoral politics is the art of the possible.

00:05:59.000 He's like Lincoln.

00:06:00.000 I mean, this guy is just, he's bringing together the best people.

00:06:02.000 He is taking it one step at a time.

00:06:04.000 His incrementalism will be more transformational than the aspirational words of his far left compatriots.

00:06:10.000 What an amazing guy.

00:06:12.000 Okay, so that's the story that you're getting from the media today.

00:06:14.000 The actual story of the press conference is that Joe Biden is not with us.

00:06:18.000 He was repeatedly confused.

00:06:19.000 He wandered off in the middle of sentences.

00:06:21.000 He never came back.

00:06:22.000 He did it at least three separate times during the press conference.

00:06:24.000 Here's a little bit of Joe Biden just wandering off into the cornfield, and we have no idea where old Joe went.

00:06:31.000 Am I giving you too long an answer?

00:06:32.000 Because if you don't want the detail, No, no, but I mean, I don't know how much detail you want about immigration.

00:06:39.000 Maybe I'll stop there and finish.

00:06:41.000 So the best way to get something done, if you if you hold near and dear to you that you like to be able to.

00:06:50.000 Anyway, I'm ready to get a lot done, but folks, I'm going.

00:06:57.000 Thank you very, very much.

00:06:59.000 I appreciate it.

00:07:01.000 OK, that second that second statement there.

00:07:04.000 It's just, that is not somebody who's with us.

00:07:08.000 We can pretend.

00:07:09.000 We can.

00:07:10.000 We can all pretend everything is fine.

00:07:11.000 I'll just note that for four long years, every single thing that Donald Trump said or did was used as an excuse by the left and by the media as a hook to suggest that the 25th Amendment should be invoked because he was not competent to fulfill high office.

00:07:28.000 Joe Biden wanders off in the middle of sentences.

00:07:30.000 He doesn't know where he is or what he is doing.

00:07:33.000 And the media proclaim him to be an incredible president, an incredible order.

00:07:37.000 Five minutes into this press conference, there were reporters who were tweeting out about how in control he was.

00:07:42.000 By the end of the press conference, he had to be mopped off the floor.

00:07:45.000 And it wasn't as though he was asked enough questions, because he really was not.

00:07:49.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second.

00:07:50.000 Again, this gap is the real story.

00:07:51.000 We know what Biden is.

00:07:52.000 We know what Biden's gonna do.

00:07:53.000 It's the gap between reality and how the media are portraying reality to the millions of Americans who didn't watch the press conference.

00:07:59.000 That is truly the tale worth telling here.

00:08:03.000 We'll get to more of this in a second.

00:08:04.000 First, here's the reality.

00:08:06.000 You text a lot.

00:08:07.000 I text a lot.

00:08:08.000 Texting is really convenient.

00:08:09.000 I'll tell you what, if somebody calls me from business, chances are very long I'm gonna pick up the phone.

00:08:13.000 And if somebody emails me, chances are very high that ends up in the spam folder.

00:08:16.000 But if somebody texts me, pretty good shot that I'm going to respond.

00:08:18.000 This is why, if you are a business, you need to make sure that you are in the texting game.

00:08:23.000 If you've been around long enough, you remember that following technology innovations, in the 90s, your business needed an email address.

00:08:28.000 By the 2000s, you needed a website.

00:08:29.000 By 2010, you needed to have a social media presence.

00:08:32.000 And in 2021, you need to be texting.

00:08:33.000 Podium!

00:09:15.000 Okay, so more Joe Biden seeming confused, falling apart.

00:09:19.000 And that one clip of him falling apart is just this.

00:09:22.000 This is the one here.

00:09:23.000 Here is Joe Biden.

00:09:25.000 And any president who did this, who was not a Democrat, would immediately, immediately be expected to resign in fairly near order.

00:09:35.000 I mean, if you watch this press conference and the first question that flashed through your brain was not how long can this guy last?

00:09:39.000 I'm not sure what you were watching.

00:09:40.000 Here's Joe Biden yesterday.

00:09:42.000 I'm going to say something outrageous.

00:09:45.000 I have never been particularly poor at calculating how to get things done in the United States Senate.

00:09:51.000 So the best way to get something done, if you, if it holds near and dear to you that you, uh, um, like to be able to, anyway, I've, we're ready to get a lot done.

00:10:07.000 What?

00:10:08.000 What?

00:10:11.000 Remember, he's completely in command, he's in control.

00:10:14.000 The Drudge Report, which has basically turned hard left now.

00:10:17.000 The Drudge Report's headlines today are Joe's No Drama Press Conference, Chill Style, Grand Vision for FDR Presidency, Art of the Possible.

00:10:26.000 Those are the headlines over at Drudge Report, which as you'll recall, used to be a critic of presidents who are of the left side of the aisle.

00:10:32.000 Now, the Drudge Report is apparently joining the stenography club over at the Democratic Press Establishment outlets.

00:10:41.000 By the way, Joe Biden couldn't get through this press conference without notes.

00:10:45.000 Okay, he was reading from actual podium notes throughout the press conference.

00:10:49.000 He had a binder.

00:10:51.000 He was reading from a briefing book at the press conference because he cannot be trusted to go out there and simply riff on topics.

00:10:56.000 Not because, like President Trump, he makes wild statements or wild generalizations, but because he literally is unable to speak with coherence on a topic for more than five minutes.

00:11:06.000 It's an amazing thing.

00:11:07.000 Amazing thing.

00:11:08.000 Here was Chris Wallace pointing this out.

00:11:10.000 Hey, Chris Wallace, again, no opponents of Joe Biden's.

00:11:12.000 Chris Wallace has been fairly warm toward Joe Biden.

00:11:14.000 Here's Chris Wallace from Fox News.

00:11:17.000 It seemed on every foreign policy question, not the others, but on foreign policy, he went to his briefing book like Jen Psaki does, sometimes in the briefings, and was reading, obviously, White House guidance, White House talking points, covering Ronald Reagan for six years.

00:11:33.000 I never saw that.

00:11:35.000 Watching a lot of news conferences over the years, I've never seen that, a president and a news conference reading talking points.

00:11:42.000 Remember, Ronald Reagan was a Dullard actor who is in decline, according to the press. 0.91

00:11:46.000 And Donald Trump was a patently insane person who is in decline, according to the press. 0.53

00:11:49.000 And Joe Biden, who is clearly in decline, is completely with it. 0.99

00:11:52.000 He's sharp as a thumbtack.

00:11:54.000 According to the New York Post, however, a newspaper that is not in the pocket of the Democratic Party, President Biden appeared to repeatedly lose his train of thought early on in his first press conference as Commander-in-Chief Thursday, asking reporters if they wanted him to go into detail in his answers, forgetting questions, relying heavily on cue cards from a binder he brought along.

00:12:10.000 The president took 10 questions at the 62-minute presser, repeatedly consulting his binder before calling on the next reporter.

00:12:14.000 By the way, When the Washington Post suggested he took 29 questions, they meant that he took, like, little follow-ups from the same reporters.

00:12:21.000 But overall, he filibustered a bunch of these questions.

00:12:23.000 He would be asked a question.

00:12:24.000 If he didn't want to answer it, he would just ramble for several minutes on completely unrelated topics.

00:12:29.000 The first awkward moment occurred when the president was answering a question on the crisis at the southern border from PBS journalist Yamiche Alcindor, who, by the way, again, another press stenographer for the president of the United States.

00:12:40.000 He cut himself off in the middle of the answer.

00:12:44.000 He took Alcindor's follow-up questions, in which she asked about the deliberations for migrants being permitted to stay as well as the filibuster, and then he took her question on migrants and needed to be reminded about her filibuster query.

00:12:53.000 He just forgot the second question.

00:12:56.000 Now listen, we have a robust system.

00:12:58.000 We have a robust system that is capable of carrying on even if the President of the United States does not seem to be with us.

00:13:02.000 But it is the gap between the reality and how the media wish you to perceive the reality that is really worth talking about today.

00:13:09.000 Biden was struggling to... He had a list of reporters he was going to call on.

00:13:12.000 On that list was not Fox News, we'll get to in a second.

00:13:15.000 Imagine if President Trump, because he did this a couple of times, took press conferences and didn't once call on anyone from the left side of the aisle.

00:13:21.000 He really didn't do that.

00:13:21.000 He called on people from the left side of the aisle, just not CNN.

00:13:24.000 And the press were like, he's trying to avoid questions.

00:13:25.000 Joe Biden would not call on anyone from Fox News, which is really the only opposition outlet in the room.

00:13:30.000 But he did have a pre-screened list of questioners.

00:13:35.000 How transparent, how refreshing.

00:13:38.000 And then he got lost on his list.

00:13:39.000 He couldn't remember who he was supposed to call on.

00:13:41.000 Here was Joe Biden yesterday.

00:13:43.000 Okay, um, hang on.

00:13:47.000 Uh... Sorry.

00:13:50.000 Oh.

00:13:51.000 Sing me.

00:13:52.000 It's Kim.

00:13:53.000 I mean, this is incredible, guys.

00:13:56.000 He... This is the leader of the free world.

00:13:59.000 And also, a man who just starts yelling for no reason.

00:14:02.000 He's talking about unions.

00:14:03.000 And all of a sudden, he's just like... Turns into the sweetest chef.

00:14:07.000 The hell is he doing?

00:14:08.000 No one knows.

00:14:10.000 So I'm running for three reasons.

00:14:13.000 To restore the soul, dignity, honor, honesty, transparency to the American political system.

00:14:21.000 Two, to rebuild the backbone of this country.

00:14:25.000 The middle class.

00:14:27.000 Hardworking people and people struggling to get in the middle class.

00:14:30.000 They built America.

00:14:32.000 And unions built them.

00:14:35.000 Why are you yelling?

00:14:37.000 Why?

00:14:38.000 Did somebody lose the discount coupons for the early bird dinner at Denny's again?

00:14:43.000 Why are you angry now?

00:14:45.000 Why are you yelling?

00:14:45.000 Okay, then we'll get to his actual policy, because here's the thing.

00:14:49.000 The combination of the Trojan horse that is Biden, and I've suggested that he's a houseplant because he's hiding the water stain.

00:14:54.000 The water stain is the radical policy.

00:14:56.000 When you bring out a person who is clearly feeble, and then you put him out there, and it's impossible to make jokes about a person like this.

00:15:03.000 Honestly, like it's very difficult to make jokes about Joe Biden, not because in the Democratic view, he's just so wonderful, but because in reality, making jokes about people like Biden in Biden's particular position, it seems mean and it seems cruel because the man is clearly not with us.

00:15:17.000 And then they use the fact that he's not with us in order to ram through a bunch of untruths, a bunch of lies, a bunch of radical policy positions that in extraordinary fashion reshape the relationship between the American people and their government.

00:15:29.000 And the media just cheer it.

00:15:29.000 We'll get to that.

00:15:30.000 They just cheer it because this is what they want.

00:15:32.000 This is what they've always wanted.

00:15:33.000 They now have.

00:15:34.000 He's not just a Trojan horse for the radical left.

00:15:36.000 He's a Trojan horse for the media agenda because the media can craft him into whatever they want him to be.

00:15:41.000 Who are you going to trust?

00:17:03.000 Then there is Biden on policy.

00:17:05.000 So here's the thing.

00:17:06.000 Joe Biden's feeble health standing.

00:17:09.000 And when you watch him, again, the first question that you're asking is, how is this guy going to make it for four years?

00:17:14.000 He actually said at his press conference yesterday that he was going to run for re-election in 2024.

00:17:19.000 And there was almost an audible gasp in the room.

00:17:21.000 Here is Joe Biden saying that he's going to run for re-election.

00:17:23.000 People are like, you're 78 now and you don't seem like you're fully with us.

00:17:26.000 You're going to run in four years?

00:17:28.000 Kamala Harris somewhere in the wings, just laughing, cackling hysterically for no reason.

00:17:31.000 Here's Joe Biden.

00:17:33.000 Have you decided whether you are going to run for re-election in 2024?

00:17:37.000 You haven't set up a re-election campaign yet, as your predecessor had by this time.

00:17:41.000 My predecessor needed to.

00:17:45.000 My predecessor.

00:17:46.000 Oh, God, I miss him.

00:17:48.000 Have you?

00:17:48.000 No, the answer is yes.

00:17:50.000 My plan is to run for re-election.

00:17:51.000 That's my expectation.

00:17:53.000 He made a Trump joke, so we can just ignore the fact that the plausibility of him running again is very, very low at this point.

00:17:59.000 But again, all of this is just a Trojan horse for the radicalism.

00:18:03.000 It's a spoonful of senility to make the medicine go down.

00:18:06.000 That is what we are watching right now.

00:18:09.000 And there are a few things that he gets away with because of this.

00:18:11.000 One, the media just will not fact check untrue things he says.

00:18:14.000 They will completely repeat the nonsense where he establishes a goal that has already been met.

00:18:19.000 So he does this all the time.

00:18:20.000 He'll say things when he comes into office like, well, you know, a hundred million shots in a hundred days.

00:18:29.000 Nobody thought we could, you know, no one thought we could Now today I'm setting a second goal.

00:18:36.000 They're already doing a million shots a day.

00:18:37.000 Well, now he's doing the same thing.

00:18:38.000 He's like, you know, you know, we're going to we're going to, you know, push a stance.

00:18:42.000 We're going to do more shots than we're already doing that.

00:18:45.000 But, you know, it's like, wow, that's amazing.

00:18:47.000 He's announced a new goal.

00:18:48.000 They're already meeting.

00:18:49.000 Here's Joe Biden doing that yesterday.

00:18:52.000 Now today I'm setting a second goal, and that is we will, by my 100th day in office, have administered 200 million shots in people's arms.

00:19:03.000 That's right, 200 million shots in 100 days.

00:19:07.000 I know it's ambitious, twice our original goal, but no other country in the world has even come close, not even close, to what we're doing.

00:19:17.000 I believe we can do it.

00:19:19.000 Okay, first of all, our vaccine rollout has been very good.

00:19:21.000 That's because of the states, it's not because of Joe Biden.

00:19:23.000 Two, when Joe Biden says we'll hit 200 million shots in 100 days, that's because we're already doing that.

00:19:28.000 We've been tranching out well over 2 million shots a day, like right now.

00:19:31.000 That is not a goal.

00:19:33.000 And this is his entire administration when it comes to PR.

00:19:36.000 He jumps in front of a moving parade and he's like, this parade's for me.

00:19:39.000 I did it.

00:19:41.000 He gets up every morning and he looks at the sky and he goes, the sun is gonna rise in the east and set in the west under my administration.

00:19:51.000 Amazing.

00:19:52.000 He just set a goal of the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.

00:19:54.000 Clearly, this man is magic.

00:19:56.000 Clearly, he is incredible at his job.

00:19:58.000 Okay, so when he is not setting goals that he has already met to the cheers of a rabidly partisan media, he is also just saying absurd, radical, insane things.

00:20:08.000 But it's okay.

00:20:09.000 He's a nice old man.

00:20:11.000 Don't point out that he's a radical.

00:20:12.000 Stop that.

00:20:13.000 He's a moderate.

00:20:14.000 Joe Biden was always a moderate.

00:20:15.000 Now, those of us during the last campaign who pointed out that Joe Biden was not a moderate, that he was a Trojan horse for radicalism, the media were like, why would you say that about that nice old man?

00:20:23.000 He's a nice old man.

00:20:25.000 Are you kidding?

00:20:25.000 He just eats oatmeal and cream wheat.

00:20:27.000 He's fine.

00:20:28.000 Stop that.

00:20:29.000 Well, here's the thing.

00:20:31.000 He says radical things.

00:20:33.000 He says more radical things than Barack Obama did.

00:20:35.000 Obama sometimes tried to moderate his message because he didn't want to appear radical before the American people.

00:20:39.000 Because Biden knows that he appears to be a houseplant to the American people, he can basically say whatever the hell he wants, and the media just treat it as though it is a moderate thing.

00:20:47.000 So, for example, Yeah, he's he he uttered one of the most radical and yet weirdly strangely just bizarre statements yesterday about the GOP's voting policy.

00:20:58.000 So there's this lie that is out there right now that the GOP in Georgia is passing a voting bill That is extraordinarily radical.

00:21:05.000 It's trying to curb voting rights. 0.99

00:21:06.000 This is Stacey Abrams talking about voter suppression.

00:21:08.000 The big lie from the right in the last election was that voter fraud and voter irregularity decided the election.

00:21:13.000 The big lie from the left for the last several years is that voter suppression was going to decide elections.

00:21:17.000 And the media continue to promulgate that lie.

00:21:19.000 That Republicans, in asking for voter ID so we know who you are when you vote, that they are performing some sort of voter suppression act.

00:21:25.000 That's nonsense.

00:21:26.000 There's no statistical evidence to back that.

00:21:29.000 They'll say things like, you know, Republicans, when they don't want early voting, it's because they're trying to suppress voting.

00:21:33.000 Really?

00:21:33.000 Because we have this thing called Election Day.

00:21:35.000 In fact, if you really want to blow it out, I think that you should be able to vote as early as possible in the 2037 elections.

00:21:41.000 Why not?

00:21:41.000 There will be a special election in 2037, and you should be able to vote right now for it.

00:21:45.000 In fact, if you are not in favor of voting in advance for a party, before candidates have been chosen, before you even know what the race is, I think that you're trying a voter suppression act.

00:21:55.000 Now, of course, that's absurd on its face.

00:21:57.000 Why should you vote six months in advance of an election?

00:21:59.000 Why should you vote four weeks in advance of an election?

00:22:02.000 Half of the news about an election vote breaks in the week before the election.

00:22:07.000 But according to the Democrats, if you do things like you say, don't try to bribe people in line is what Georgia says.

00:22:11.000 Georgia says you're not allowed to give gifts of money or food or drink to people in line for voting.

00:22:17.000 The way the media portrayed that is Republicans try to block people from giving water to people in line.

00:22:22.000 That is not what that bill is about.

00:22:24.000 The bill is attempting to block people from bribing people in line to vote.

00:22:28.000 That is what it says in the text of the law that the media created this lie.

00:22:32.000 And the lie was Republicans are engaged in a vast act of voter suppression, all of which led up to the most bizarre line of Joe Biden's very bizarre and disquieting press conference.

00:22:41.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:22:42.000 First, let us talk about your safety and security at home and also just knowing what's going on at your house.

00:22:47.000 So as I've mentioned, I have three kids.

00:22:49.000 They are absolutely running me ragged.

00:22:50.000 And one of the things about having three kids is that I only have one pair of eyes.

00:22:53.000 They tend to focus in one direction only, which means it's hard to keep track of all three of my children.

00:22:58.000 The baby is now crawling around like a crazy person and trying to hurt herself. 0.99

00:23:01.000 I've got a son who bounces off walls, and I've got a daughter who...

00:23:05.000 It's pretty worth it, but I will say that I'd like to keep an eye on her as well.

00:23:08.000 So, three kids, two eyes, one direction.

00:23:10.000 That means what I actually need is ring devices on my house so I can tell what the hell is going on at home.

00:23:15.000 So I can remain in control of my own property.

00:23:17.000 You need this as well.

00:23:19.000 Whether it is just visitors stopping at your front door, or it is people dropping off packages.

00:23:22.000 Whether you just want to know what's going on in your property.

00:23:24.000 Ring devices are the thing.

00:23:25.000 I love having the Ring video doorbell.

00:23:27.000 I've actually added Ring security cameras around my home as well.

00:23:43.000 Right now, get a special offer on the Ring Welcome Kit at ring.com.

00:23:46.000 Slash Ben?

00:23:48.000 It comes with Ring Video Doorbell 3 and Chime Pro.

00:23:50.000 It is the perfect way to upgrade your front door and start your Ring experience.

00:23:54.000 Head on over to ring.com slash Ben.

00:23:55.000 That is ring.com slash Ben.

00:23:57.000 Okay, so again, the Democrats are pushing a lie.

00:24:01.000 The lie is that Republicans are attempting an act of voter suppression.

00:24:04.000 Karl Rove points out in the Wall Street Journal today that this is not true.

00:24:08.000 He says moves by Republican legislators to reform state election laws are drawing incendiary accusations from Democrats.

00:24:12.000 Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams denounced them as Jim Crow in a suit and tie.

00:24:17.000 Vice President Kamala Harris declared, quote, it's all voter suppression by any other name.

00:24:21.000 The Democratic Governors Association says these efforts are, quote, a direct attack on our democracy.

00:24:26.000 This is a lie.

00:24:28.000 In Georgia, Republican legislators are close to passing a bill that expands the state's early voting period by four days.

00:24:33.000 What a clever GOP suppression technique.

00:24:35.000 Provide voters with more opportunities to cast ballots.

00:24:37.000 The legislation would also require Georgians to vote in their home precinct or risk having their ballot disqualified.

00:24:42.000 It would forbid outside groups to send duplicate applications for mail-in absentee ballots to voters who have already applied for one.

00:24:48.000 So you don't want two applications going in for the same ballot.

00:24:50.000 Both are sensible protections.

00:24:52.000 Democrats are upset about the idea of a voter ID.

00:24:54.000 But if that's racist, New Jersey, Virginia, and California are suppression hotbeds.

00:24:58.000 New Jersey requires a driver's license or the last four digits of a social security number.

00:25:02.000 Virginia requires both a photo ID and your social security number.

00:25:04.000 And California requires ID at least to register.

00:25:08.000 Ms.

00:25:08.000 Abrams and her allies also opposed efforts to toughen signature verification for mail-in ballots, but Colorado has what's likely the toughest such procedures in the country, which is important since it conducts elections primarily by mail.

00:25:19.000 Last fall, roughly one of every 112 ballots, 29,000 altogether, was rejected because the signature didn't match the one on file with election officials.

00:25:27.000 That was after voters were allowed to cure problems by responding to a text asking for a copy of their driver's license or other photo ID bearing their signature.

00:25:34.000 More than 11,000 did so.

00:25:36.000 Are California's Democratic governor and legislature to be branded vote suppressors?

00:25:40.000 Again, these voter ID laws, these voting laws generally, these are not in any way racist.

00:25:46.000 They're not about voter suppression.

00:25:48.000 They're about shoring up voting procedures. 0.96

00:25:49.000 But because Democrats wish to federalize election law and make it easier than ever for the Democratic Party to skew election results with things like ballot harvesting, Ballot harvesting is, to my mind, the most dangerous voting procedure that you could have in a free country right now.

00:26:05.000 Having the party basically just deploy activists door-to-door to go pick up ballots from just blue voters, for example, is a great way of skewing elections.

00:26:12.000 It makes elections not about who decides to vote that day, but about how much money the Democratic Party can spend on going door-to-door to actually gather ballots and then have party activists who cannot be trusted with the ballots drive those things over to the post office, for example, or drive them to a ballot box.

00:26:26.000 It is ballot stuffing by any other name.

00:26:30.000 In any case, Joe Biden says that if you wish to actually shore up voter ID, that this is an act of racism.

00:26:38.000 Not only is it an act of racism, also he makes a reference that nobody understands right here because this is what Joe Biden does.

00:26:44.000 Again, the combination of incoherence and radicalism in this one statement, pure Biden.

00:26:48.000 Didn't get more Biden than this.

00:26:49.000 Here we go.

00:26:51.000 The Republican voters I know find this despicable.

00:26:56.000 Republican voters.

00:26:59.000 Jim Crow?

00:27:00.000 and outside this White House.

00:27:03.000 I'm not talking about the elected officials.

00:27:07.000 I'm talking about voters, voters.

00:27:09.000 And so I'm convinced that we'll be able to stop this because it is the most pernicious thing.

00:27:17.000 This makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle. 0.52

00:27:20.000 Jim Crow, who the hell is Jim Eagle?

00:27:24.000 I looked this up yesterday in the mistaken impression that perhaps I just missed some sort of cultural reference from 1832.

00:27:31.000 Because he has a different frame of reference than I do, does Joe Biden, considering that he was actually around when the pyramids were built.

00:27:39.000 So I thought maybe this was just some reference I didn't get.

00:27:41.000 Nope.

00:27:42.000 That is not a thing.

00:27:43.000 There is no such thing as Jim Eagle.

00:27:44.000 I feel bad for all the people out there in America who are named Jim Eagle.

00:27:47.000 Because today they're like, what?

00:27:48.000 What's he talking about now?

00:27:50.000 This makes Jim Crow look like Jim Woody Woodpecker.

00:27:54.000 Jim Do- Jim Dove?

00:27:56.000 Jim- Jim Thrush?

00:28:01.000 Jim Eagle!

00:28:01.000 Because eagles are patriotic and- and- and- Okay, incoherence and radicalism all at once.

00:28:10.000 That is the Biden way.

00:28:13.000 And it didn't just stop there.

00:28:14.000 I mean, there's the race baiting, of course. 0.89

00:28:16.000 He kept using terms like Jim Crow with a level of comfort that even Barack Obama did not use Jim Crow.

00:28:22.000 Joe Biden, who, again, used to work with people who were in favor of Jim Crow in the United States Senate, as Kamala Harris pointed out before she decided that he was actually the greatest civil rights fighter of her lifetime.

00:28:33.000 Joe Biden said that he might get rid of the filibuster.

00:28:35.000 So we're going to have this addled human, this addled radical human talking about getting rid of the filibuster and the media are cheering it.

00:28:43.000 By the way, the real story here, again, is not that Biden is flipping on the filibuster.

00:28:46.000 He spent years and years and years defending the filibuster.

00:28:48.000 He was the Senate institutionalist.

00:28:49.000 He was the guy who was going to stand up for the deliberative body that is the Senate and its magical procedures that allow for conversation to take place.

00:28:56.000 Now, of course, he's like, you know what?

00:28:58.000 Power is an instrument.

00:28:59.000 I'm in charge.

00:29:01.000 Sure, I'd be interested in getting rid of the filibuster.

00:29:02.000 The story isn't that.

00:29:04.000 The story is that the media are openly, openly thirsting for it.

00:29:08.000 They're sending thirst pics to Joe Biden about the filibuster at this point.

00:29:12.000 The media are just, they're begging for it.

00:29:14.000 Every single day, they are going to senators who are supposedly on the fence, people like Kristen Sinema of Arizona and Joe Manchin.

00:29:20.000 They ask them every single day, any update on getting rid of that filibuster?

00:29:22.000 When are you guys going to get rid of it?

00:29:24.000 Please get rid of the filibuster.

00:29:25.000 Here is Joe Biden saying, you know, after all, Maybe we should get rid of the filibuster.

00:29:30.000 This was the great defender of the filibuster.

00:29:32.000 The Democrats have come up with a new narrative.

00:29:34.000 The new narrative is that when Republicans are in charge of the Senate, the filibuster is a deeply necessary tool for deliberative democracy.

00:29:40.000 And when Democrats are in charge of the Senate, then the filibuster is a Jim Crow-era relic that is really a holdover from America's racist past. 0.99

00:29:47.000 Here is Joe Biden spewing out this garbage.

00:29:51.000 With regard to the filibuster, I believe we should go back to a position of the filibuster that existed just when I came to the United States Senate 120 years ago. 0.93

00:30:00.000 I strongly support moving in that direction, in addition to having an open mind about dealing with certain things that are just elemental to the functioning of our democracy, like the right to vote.

00:30:13.000 Like the basic right to vote.

00:30:15.000 We've amended the filibuster in the past.

00:30:19.000 It's a Jim Crow era relic. 0.65

00:30:21.000 Okay, he was asked specifically if he thought that it was a relic of the Jim Crow era, and the president said yes.

00:30:25.000 Yes.

00:30:26.000 Here is Joe Biden in 2005, quote, at its core, the filibuster is not about stopping a nominee or a bill.

00:30:31.000 It's about compromise and moderation.

00:30:32.000 It does not mean I get in.

00:30:33.000 I get my way.

00:30:34.000 It means you may have to compromise.

00:30:35.000 That is what it is about, about engendering compromise and moderation.

00:30:38.000 Here's Barack Obama circa 2005 talking about how important the filibuster is.

00:30:45.000 The American people want less partisanship in this town, but everyone in this chamber knows that if the majority chooses to end the filibuster, if they choose to change the rules and put an end to democratic debate, then the fighting and the bitterness and the gridlock will only get worse.

00:31:03.000 I understand that Republicans are getting a lot of pressure to do this from factions outside the chamber.

00:31:10.000 But we need to rise above the ends justify the means mentality because we're here to answer to the people, all of the people, not just the ones that are wearing our particular party label.

00:31:22.000 Except for the fact that this is the way that the Democrats run things.

00:31:25.000 The way Democrats run things is we love the procedures so long as the procedures protect us.

00:31:30.000 But the minute that we are in charge, those procedures go directly out the window.

00:31:33.000 Don't they wonder why politics has become a cynical exercise in partisan power grabbing?

00:31:38.000 Because you guys are doing this.

00:31:40.000 Chuck Schumer the other day, he cited statistics about how the filibuster has been used to obstruct legislation so many times.

00:31:46.000 He was citing statistics from when the Democrats were using the filibuster to obstruct legislation.

00:31:49.000 It was unbelievable.

00:31:50.000 Okay, this is Chuck Schumer yesterday talking about how when we filibuster, it's good.

00:31:56.000 When they filibuster, it's bad.

00:31:58.000 He was asked about the filibuster.

00:31:59.000 And he's basically like, yeah, the filibuster is a terrible thing because now we're in charge.

00:32:05.000 The big difference is that we were always willing to negotiate in a bipartisan way.

00:32:11.000 Mitch McConnell isn't.

00:32:13.000 The bills he puts on the floor, even when he calls them bipartisan, aren't. 1.00

00:32:18.000 Okay, he's just an effing liar. 1.00

00:32:18.000 The man's just an effing liar. 1.00

00:32:20.000 He is a liar. 1.00

00:32:21.000 That is a lie. 1.00

00:32:21.000 bill. There's no discussion. No discussion. We are sitting down. I am encouraging my colleagues to sit down with Republicans and move forward. There's a big difference in how we're conducting things in the way they're conducting. He's just an effing liar. The man's just an effing liar. He is a liar. That is a lie. OK, when Democrats pushed legislation like Obamacare, they didn't have a single Republican vote. When Democrats have the Democrats just passed a giant spending bill with no Republican support in the Senate. 1.00

00:32:48.000 Thanks.

00:32:49.000 None! 0.97

00:32:51.000 What in the hell is he talking about?

00:32:53.000 They filibustered Tim Scott's police reform bill. 0.64

00:32:56.000 Chuck Schumer participated in that filibuster.

00:32:57.000 Again, this is all cynical.

00:32:59.000 There's no principle here.

00:33:01.000 Joe Biden is not a principled man.

00:33:02.000 Joe Biden is a power-grabbing man.

00:33:04.000 He's a power-grabbing man in decline.

00:33:09.000 And his party is perfectly willing to go along with this.

00:33:11.000 They are excited about it.

00:33:14.000 The same media, the same Democrats who decried Donald Trump's behavior between the election and January 6th and said that he was cynically using his power in order to manipulate elections.

00:33:23.000 These are the same exact people who are out there right now saying that they have the ability to actively overturn elections.

00:33:29.000 Nancy Pelosi said yesterday that she has the singular ability to bar people from entering Congress no matter how they got into Congress.

00:33:37.000 Okay, this is authoritarian talk from the Speaker of the House.

00:33:42.000 Now, if I wanted to be unfair, I wouldn't have seated the Republican from Iowa because that was my right on the opening day.

00:33:49.000 I would have just said, you're not seated.

00:33:52.000 And that would have been my right as Speaker to do.

00:33:55.000 Unbelievable.

00:33:56.000 Unbelievable.

00:33:57.000 She says that as Speaker of the House, she has the ability to deny seating somebody who's legit elected from a particular district.

00:34:03.000 She's talking about an Iowa district right now that is separated by about six votes.

00:34:06.000 And she says she doesn't want to seat the Republican anymore.

00:34:09.000 Okay, but so power is just a tool for these people.

00:34:12.000 There's no principled institutional loyalty here.

00:34:16.000 It is all about the use of power.

00:34:17.000 And you wonder why there are reactionaries on the right who are like, you know what, screw all the systems.

00:34:20.000 We're done with the systems.

00:34:21.000 We're just gonna do whatever the hell we want.

00:34:23.000 If we ever get power again, we're just gonna junk these systems and do whatever the hell we want because you guys don't care about the institutions.

00:34:28.000 You wonder why that sentiment is rising.

00:34:30.000 If you care about America's institutions, if you wish those institutions to remain so that we can actually have discussions about policy, come to some sort of broad ranging agreement for the 330 people 330 million people who live in America and may disagree about fundamental policies and politics.

00:34:44.000 If you hope those institutions hold, because the institutions are kind of important, the left is wrecking those institutions, and the wrecking ball is an addled old man who is not with us.

00:34:55.000 The Democratic Party is being run by a San Francisco leftist worth tens of millions of dollars, completely out of touch with the American people, who is 183 years old, and a president of the United States who can't string together a sentence.

00:35:10.000 And the media are cheering it, because you know who's in charge?

00:35:12.000 People keep asking, so who's in charge?

00:35:14.000 Really, who's in charge over there at the White House?

00:35:15.000 I'll tell you who's in charge.

00:35:16.000 The media are in charge.

00:35:17.000 The establishment media are in charge.

00:35:19.000 They are driving the agenda.

00:35:20.000 They're willing to cover for the agenda.

00:35:21.000 What they are not willing to cover for is what gets covered.

00:35:24.000 The media are the ones in charge, because politicians respond to incentive structures.

00:35:28.000 And you know what creates the incentive structures these days?

00:35:30.000 It is not the American people, predominantly. 0.95

00:35:32.000 It is the media who create the narratives that shift how the American people think.

00:35:36.000 The establishment media are the biggest obstacles to a defense of your individual rights in America today.

00:35:44.000 Not the courts, not the government, the incentive structure being set up by an establishment media that continues to force its dominance on the American people day after day, and when they don't dominate, they seek to just destroy all methods of informational dissemination.

00:35:57.000 You wonder why I think that what we do here at Daily Wire is kind of important?

00:36:00.000 Because these folks wish us not to do it.

00:36:02.000 That is why.

00:36:04.000 In a second, we'll get to Joe Biden on the border, because there are serious questions to be asked about Joe Biden's behavior on the border and his administration's policies on the border.

00:36:11.000 He's not going to answer any of them, however.

00:36:12.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:36:13.000 First, let us talk about getting a good night's sleep.

00:36:16.000 So as I've mentioned, my babies have been keeping me up.

00:36:19.000 They've just been keeping me up really late.

00:36:22.000 My daughter is teething. 1.00

00:36:23.000 She's got the molars in. 1.00

00:36:24.000 That means I'm not getting as much sleep as I would like.

00:36:25.000 It means that when I do get in bed, I need all of my sleep products to just be top quality.

00:36:31.000 And that is why I love MyPillow.

00:37:20.000 Alrighty, in just one second, we're going to get to Joe Biden on the border.

00:37:23.000 Incredible how the media just, again, they're covering for him in the same way that the media covered for JFK stooping the interns in the White House swimming pool. 0.93

00:37:30.000 That is how they are covering for his crappy, radical policies.

00:37:33.000 They're covering for the fact that he is not with us.

00:37:35.000 It's amazing.

00:37:36.000 First, let me remind you, this Sunday, we do have a Ben Shapiro Sunday special.

00:37:41.000 It is with Ayaan Hirsi Ali, perhaps the bravest woman in international politics, obviously subjected to enormous hatred, both Originally in the Netherlands and now in the United States for not moving along with the left-wing shibboleths that you normally hear.

00:37:55.000 Ayaan is not only a person with great personal bravery, but great insight into the radical left and the identity politics left that seems to be predominating at this time.

00:38:02.000 Check out the Sunday special this week.

00:39:47.000 you're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.

00:39:50.000 All righty, so Joe Biden, again, if you're wondering who exactly is in control, the answer is the establishment media that has set up all the incentive structures here.

00:40:02.000 And if you want to see that in action, yesterday, Joe Biden was asked about this crisis at the border.

00:40:06.000 The crisis at the border is of his own making.

00:40:09.000 It is a crisis that has been driven by Joe Biden's warm embrace of illegal immigration.

00:40:09.000 It is.

00:40:14.000 He encouraged an actual surge in the middle of the primaries last year.

00:40:18.000 Joe Biden has said openly that he was not going to deport anyone when he got into office, and people rushed the border.

00:40:25.000 That is the most predictable thing in the entire world.

00:40:27.000 And the media cheered him on throughout that process.

00:40:29.000 Well, yesterday, he was asked some questions about the border, and his answers to these questions are not only incoherent, they were full of untruths that could have been fact-checked in real time.

00:40:41.000 Where was Daniel Dale?

00:40:42.000 Where were all the fact-checkers?

00:40:43.000 He made an entire career at fact-checking everything Trump said, taking everything extremely literally, trying to parse every single statement.

00:40:43.000 Weird.

00:40:50.000 Joe Biden just says things that are overtly untrue, and Daniel Dale is nowhere to be found.

00:40:52.000 They put him in witness protection over at CNN.

00:40:55.000 Not only does Joe Biden lie here, he also just acts weird.

00:40:59.000 Okay, so for example, He was asked about the treatment of children in these migrant facilities.

00:41:04.000 You know, kids in cages.

00:41:06.000 He was asked by Cecilia Vega, who, good for her, actually asked a question about this.

00:41:09.000 The ABC News chief White House correspondent.

00:41:13.000 It does put me in a weird position when I now have to praise journalists for doing, like, the most basic element of their job, asking about the news.

00:41:20.000 But she did.

00:41:21.000 She asked Biden about the news.

00:41:22.000 And Biden started to chuckle.

00:41:23.000 Okay, just watch the clip.

00:41:26.000 What is your reaction to these images that have come out from that particular facility?

00:41:31.000 Is what's happening inside acceptable to you?

00:41:34.000 And when is this going to be fixed?

00:41:37.000 That's a serious question, right?

00:41:39.000 Is it acceptable to me?

00:41:40.000 Come on.

00:41:42.000 That's why we're going to be moving a thousand of those kids out quickly. 0.99

00:41:49.000 Is it acceptable?

00:41:49.000 Yes, that was the question.

00:41:51.000 Is it acceptable to you?

00:41:52.000 And do you think that if Donald Trump, it's not acceptable?

00:41:54.000 It wouldn't matter.

00:41:56.000 We haven't seen the facilities in which children are packed together to really give the American people a chance to see that.

00:42:01.000 Will you commit to transparency on this issue?

00:42:02.000 self-conflicting. They make no sense at all. So Biden, first of all, he's asked, when are you going to be transparent? Let the media in there. I don't know. I mean, OK, here we go. We haven't seen the facilities in which children are packed together to really give the American people a chance to see that. Will you commit to transparency on this?

00:42:24.000 I will commit to transparency. And as soon as I am in a position to be able to implement what we're doing right now.

00:42:32.000 I'm the one of the reasons I haven't gone down.

00:42:34.000 I have all my, my chief folks have gone down as I don't want to become the issue.

00:42:40.000 I don't want to be, you know, bringing all the secret service and everybody with me to get in the way.

00:42:46.000 So this is being set up and you'll have full access to everything once we get this thing moving.

00:42:53.000 Okay, just to be clear, how soon will that be, Mr. President?

00:42:57.000 I don't know.

00:42:58.000 Okay, alright.

00:43:01.000 I'm not going down there because I don't want to bring attention.

00:43:03.000 Sure, I'm sure that's why.

00:43:04.000 It's not because you don't want pictures of you juxtaposed with kids in cages.

00:43:08.000 It's not because of that.

00:43:10.000 It's just you don't want to be a distraction, Joe Biden.

00:43:13.000 Oh, weird, because that's never seemed to stop you before.

00:43:15.000 That's strange.

00:43:16.000 But don't worry, you guys will get in.

00:43:18.000 When?

00:43:18.000 Now!

00:43:19.000 I said Jim Landron, and he's a James Landron, who's him.

00:43:22.000 Right?

00:43:23.000 Drum Lubbersher.

00:43:25.000 And the media, oh, OK.

00:43:26.000 All right.

00:43:27.000 Okay, then there's the actual failures and contradictions.

00:43:31.000 So he says, you know, I should be flattered that people are coming.

00:43:35.000 I should be flattered that illegal immigrants are arriving in wave numbers. 1.00

00:43:38.000 So he says simultaneously two things.

00:43:40.000 One, I'm gonna deport people, but I'm not gonna deport people.

00:43:43.000 And two, it's not my fault they're coming, but if they are coming, it's because I'm great.

00:43:46.000 It's like, what in the world? 1.00

00:43:48.000 And the media are like, Morons. 0.99

00:43:51.000 Okay, here are members of the media and Joe Biden. 0.98

00:43:53.000 Here's Yamiche Alcindor from PBS NewsHour.

00:43:55.000 By the way, your taxpayer dollars pay for this kind of journalism.

00:43:59.000 I guess I should be flattered people are coming because I'm the nice guy.

00:44:03.000 That's the reason why it's happening.

00:44:04.000 That I'm a decent man or however it's phrased.

00:44:07.000 That, you know, that's why they're coming because, you know, Biden's a good guy.

00:44:10.000 Truth of the matter is, nothing has changed.

00:44:13.000 Yes, what changed is you!

00:44:15.000 What changed is you!

00:44:17.000 Why should you be flattered that we're having an inundation at our border?

00:44:21.000 You know, there are other Americans in America besides Joe Biden.

00:44:24.000 The fact that he sees everything through the prism of, they think I'm such a nice guy.

00:44:28.000 Every president defines himself in a particular way.

00:44:30.000 Joe Biden defines himself as the nice guy who quote-unquote gets things done.

00:44:34.000 The problem is the things he's getting done are crappy and the nice guy routine is bringing literally tens of thousands, if not millions of people to the border over the course of this year.

00:44:41.000 Okay, then Joe Biden says, he said a bunch of untrue things here.

00:44:45.000 He said in the middle of this immigration talk in his presser yesterday, He said, for example, that the he said the Trump administration was simply sending people back to the desert to die.

00:44:54.000 That was an overt lie.

00:44:55.000 That is just untrue.

00:44:56.000 Did anybody fact check him?

00:44:58.000 Was anybody like, can you name a person who has died in the desert because they were sent back to the desert?

00:45:01.000 That's not how it works.

00:45:02.000 When people arrive at the border, they're immediately handed over to Mexican authorities or they're shipped back to country of origin.

00:45:09.000 It's not as though at the border, like, you know what?

00:45:11.000 You came here back to the desert with you.

00:45:13.000 No water bottles.

00:45:14.000 Enjoy.

00:45:15.000 That's not how it works. 1.00

00:45:17.000 Joe Biden knows that, but he's a damned liar. 1.00

00:45:19.000 So here he was yesterday saying, and then he and then he says, you know what? 1.00

00:45:22.000 If kids have family elsewhere, we should deport them.

00:45:25.000 OK, this is a complete reversal from his own policy, which is that if kids show up here, we're not going to deport them.

00:45:29.000 His DHS secretary said that this week.

00:45:33.000 Do you want to see these unaccompanied minors staying in this country, or should they be deported eventually? 1.00

00:45:40.000 Well, the judgment has to be made whether or not, in this young man's case, he has a mom at home.

00:45:46.000 There's an overwhelming reason why he'd be put in a plane and flown back to his mom.

00:45:50.000 Oh, you mean the Trump administration cruel evil policy?

00:45:53.000 That policy?

00:45:54.000 That's exactly the policy he's currently talking about.

00:45:57.000 Yeah, but the media didn't fact check him.

00:45:58.000 He said untrue things throughout.

00:46:00.000 But again, he's a nice elderly gentleman.

00:46:01.000 How dare you point any of this out?

00:46:05.000 And this is really about the stenographer pool.

00:46:07.000 This is about the stenographer pool that lives in that White House press room.

00:46:11.000 And all of the people on CNN and MSNBC who just engage in the human centipede.

00:46:16.000 Peter Doocy at Fox News, the only journalist who ever asks any tough questions, apparently, in that White House press room.

00:46:21.000 He talked yesterday about the fact that he was not called on.

00:46:23.000 Again, the president doesn't have to call on anybody, but the fact that Biden was standing there and going down a list of approved reporters demonstrates exactly what they think of the press pool.

00:46:32.000 Here was Peter Doocy.

00:46:34.000 I mentioned last night on Special Report that I had a binder full of questions.

00:46:38.000 I think some people were kidding.

00:46:39.000 I was not kidding.

00:46:40.000 We had a lot, and most of this stuff did not get to, but the last one that I can think of like this would have been in Wilmington.

00:46:47.000 They had an aide off to the side with the list of reporters to call on.

00:46:52.000 Today it was Biden with the list, and once they got through about an hour and 20 minutes, he was done.

00:46:59.000 I'm not sure if that was the end of the list.

00:47:02.000 If we were on it, he did not make it down.

00:47:05.000 Okay, he did not make it down that far.

00:47:07.000 Yeah, of course he didn't.

00:47:08.000 He just started randomly wobbling off into the ether.

00:47:14.000 He had no idea what he was doing.

00:47:15.000 He had no idea what the hell he was talking about.

00:47:17.000 And there are many questions that he didn't get to.

00:47:19.000 You know he didn't answer a single question about COVID yesterday?

00:47:21.000 Not one.

00:47:22.000 In a 62-minute press conference, he didn't answer a single question about COVID.

00:47:25.000 Remember, the most important issue of our lifetimes.

00:47:28.000 Remember, an issue so important that we not only have to blow out $2 trillion in spending that we just did this month, we need to blow out another $3 trillion in spending.

00:47:35.000 And at no point was he asked about COVID by our intrepid press.

00:47:39.000 At no point was he asked about, for example, Hunter Biden, because it turns out that there's a new breaking scandal with Hunter Biden.

00:47:44.000 At no point was he asked about that.

00:47:46.000 You think Trump would have been asked about similar issues?

00:47:48.000 Of course he would have.

00:47:50.000 But the agenda is all that matters to the press.

00:47:52.000 I'm not disappointed in Biden because I didn't have any expectations of Biden.

00:47:56.000 I didn't think he was going to be some sort of moderate institutionalist who's going to uphold the great institutions of American democracy in pursuit of some sort of bipartisan compromise.

00:48:04.000 I never thought he was going to be that.

00:48:06.000 But that's not what the media said.

00:48:09.000 For years, if you pointed out that Joe Biden was not a moderate and that he didn't care about the institutions, you were told that you were out of your mind. 0.84

00:48:16.000 He wasn't some crazy radical like Bernie.

00:48:18.000 He was going to bring America back together.

00:48:21.000 I'm not surprised when politicians lie to me.

00:48:24.000 I'm not even surprised when the media lie to me.

00:48:26.000 I'm just surprised at this point that anybody buys it anymore.

00:48:29.000 I think fewer and fewer people are going to buy it over time.

00:48:32.000 Alrighty, well, once in a while, we check in with our friends over at Birchgold.

00:48:35.000 Over the past couple of days, I had a chance to talk with Philip Patrick.

00:48:39.000 He's a precious metals specialist over at Birchgold.

00:48:41.000 He had some pretty interesting insight into what exactly the Biden administration is doing and how that could impact your finances and, of course, why it may be worthwhile diversifying into precious metals.

00:48:50.000 Here's something we recorded a little bit earlier this week.

00:48:53.000 Joining us on the line is Philip Patrick.

00:48:54.000 He's a precious metals specialist with our friends over at Birchgold, and we thought now would be an excellent time to talk about why investing in precious metals might just be a good idea.

00:49:02.000 Philip, thanks so much for joining the program.

00:49:05.000 Thanks for having us.

00:49:06.000 So let's talk for a second about the value of the United States dollar.

00:49:10.000 So the Biden administration is clearly blowing out the spending.

00:49:12.000 They just dropped $2 trillion on a brand new stimulus package, which is unnecessary given the fact that we are now in the waning days of the pandemic.

00:49:19.000 And now at the Federal Reserve's meeting last week, Federal Chair Jerome Powell indicated he expects interest rates to remain at near zero through 2023, which is kind of a wild idea.

00:49:27.000 What's your take on that?

00:49:30.000 Look, it's certainly a wild idea.

00:49:33.000 I think they have to keep interest rates low for a couple of reasons, really.

00:49:37.000 The first is the reason they dropped them in the first place, which is to encourage spending, right?

00:49:42.000 Low interest rates, encourage people to take money out of savings and essentially invest it, right?

00:49:47.000 The stock market, real estate, bond market, it fuels activity and essentially keeps this thing propped up.

00:49:55.000 The second side of it is obviously debt, right?

00:49:57.000 Debt is growing significantly.

00:49:59.000 We're approaching $30 trillion, which is just about manageable for the government because interest rates are so low.

00:50:06.000 If they start to raise rates, the average rate on our debt federally for the last 30 years has been about 5%.

00:50:13.000 The interest payments on our debt start to become untenable in relation to tax revenue.

00:50:19.000 So the statement makes sense.

00:50:21.000 I think they have to.

00:50:22.000 Yeah, look, you hit the nail on the head.

00:50:23.000 Low interest rates in isolation are not necessarily an issue.

00:50:25.000 inflation to kick in in the, if not near future, then in the medium future.

00:50:30.000 So if higher rates of inflation are coming, then diversification seems like it might be a good idea.

00:50:35.000 Yeah, look, you hit the nail on the head.

00:50:37.000 Low interest rates in isolation are not necessarily an issue.

00:50:41.000 You couple that with rising inflation, which to some degree is unavoidable, that's when it starts to become problematic.

00:50:48.000 You're absolutely spot on.

00:50:49.000 So if you were looking at diversifying, why not put your money in, say, stocks, for example?

00:50:56.000 Look, stocks historically have been a very good hedge against inflation.

00:51:00.000 They've outperformed it longer term, but that doesn't mean that there are not issues in the market short to medium term, right?

00:51:07.000 You look at the stock market from a timing standpoint.

00:51:10.000 It's cyclical, right?

00:51:11.000 The stock market will typically correct in seven to ten year cycles.

00:51:14.000 We're now two and a half years into the longest bull run in recorded history.

00:51:20.000 Outside of that, some of the numbers there look concerning.

00:51:23.000 Price to earning ratios are at a level today that they've never been at in history without us suffering a fairly sizable correction.

00:51:31.000 So, short to medium term, it seems a little bit frightening.

00:51:34.000 And how about bonds?

00:51:35.000 A lot of people have been talking about bonds as a safe haven, but in a time when it appears that the bond yields are going up, there's less demand for bonds.

00:51:41.000 Why do you think that the demand for bonds seems to be going down?

00:51:45.000 I think it ties into interest rates, right?

00:51:47.000 You buy a secure bond today, and I think they are, U.S.

00:51:51.000 government treasuries.

00:51:52.000 A five-year treasury note today is paying less than 1% annually.

00:51:57.000 According to the government, inflation rates are higher than that today.

00:52:00.000 So, you know, you buy a government treasury today, you lose money on the back of inflation.

00:52:05.000 You lose buying power.

00:52:07.000 My issue is the inflation numbers put out are a little bit misleading.

00:52:11.000 They don't include food or energy anymore.

00:52:14.000 You start to factor that in.

00:52:15.000 Inflation is higher than published today.

00:52:17.000 Sitting in bonds becomes problematic in this sort of climate.

00:52:21.000 So, if you were going to invest in precious metals, what would you suggest to folks as possible ways to invest in precious metals to dip a toe in, or maybe a little bit more?

00:52:30.000 Look, it depends on, you know, the individual's comfort level, of course.

00:52:34.000 But I think they're a very suitable tool for this sort of climate.

00:52:38.000 If you look at our issues, potentially on the horizon, we have stock market correction, we have inflation, we have currency devaluation.

00:52:46.000 These sort of issues actually drive safe havens like gold and silver up, right?

00:52:51.000 When stocks crash, people can flood to gold and silver.

00:52:54.000 2008 was a great example.

00:52:56.000 They doubled in value.

00:52:59.000 The technical definition of inflation is the rising cost of commodities and services over time.

00:53:05.000 Intrinsically, gold and silver are commodities.

00:53:08.000 By definition, they keep pace.

00:53:09.000 So they're very conducive for climates like this specifically.

00:53:14.000 Alrighty, well, that is Philip Patrick from Birch Gold.

00:53:17.000 He, of course, is a precious metals specialist.

00:53:19.000 Obviously, if you're looking to get involved in precious metals, I trust the folks over at Birch Gold, and for good reason, because they will give you all the straight answers about what kind of investment strategy you ought to pursue.

00:53:30.000 The reality of the situation is that we are now watching an administration that is blowing out the dollar.

00:53:33.000 It's only a matter of time before inflation does, in fact, kick in.

00:53:37.000 You've seen this in the demand for gold.

00:53:38.000 You've seen this in the demand for other assets that are not the U.S.

00:53:41.000 dollar.

00:53:42.000 Philip Patrick, thanks so much for your time.

00:53:43.000 Really appreciate your insight.

00:53:45.000 Thank you, Ben.

00:53:46.000 Thanks for having us.

00:53:47.000 That is Philip Patrick, a precious metals specialist over at Birchgold Group.

00:53:50.000 As you know, the people over at Birchgold are the people I trust with my own precious metals investing.

00:53:53.000 Text Ben to 474747 for your free information kit on precious metals IRAs or to speak with a Birchgold representative today.

00:54:01.000 Again, that's my name.

00:54:02.000 Text Ben to 474747 to get started with my friends over at Birchgold.

00:54:07.000 Alrighty, meanwhile, I gotta tell you about a couple of the topics that they didn't actually get to.

00:54:11.000 Okay, so.

00:54:13.000 There are a few topics they didn't get to.

00:54:14.000 Not a single question was asked in this press conference about Joe Biden's COVID policy.

00:54:19.000 Not one, which is kind of amazing.

00:54:20.000 Remember, it's the most important issue ever.

00:54:22.000 When we shut down the entire economy of the United States for a year.

00:54:26.000 Remember, we're spending more money than has ever been spent in the history of humanity.

00:54:30.000 That is not an exaggeration.

00:54:31.000 We are now spending more money than any government has ever spent ever, ever.

00:54:36.000 And we are doing so on the back of a pandemic that is already on the wane.

00:54:40.000 He was not asked a single question about that and he was not asked a single question about, for example, school reopenings.

00:54:44.000 He read some talking points about school reopenings where he talked about maybe we'll have to reopen some schools and that'll be great.

00:54:49.000 By the way, if you actually look at a chart of the states that have reopened their schools versus the states that have not, it is a complete blue-red divide.

00:54:55.000 The vast majority of blue states have kept kids out of school.

00:54:58.000 The vast majority of red states have not.

00:55:00.000 And then you're gonna tell me it's all about the science?

00:55:03.000 You know, it's premature to tell.

00:55:04.000 people right now are not committing to reopening schools in the fall.

00:55:07.000 Here is Biden's education secretary yesterday saying that they're not sure if the schools are going to reopen in the fall.

00:55:15.000 How is he not asked about this?

00:55:16.000 You know, it's premature to tell.

00:55:18.000 One thing that I know as a former commissioner of education, COVID-19 numbers will dictate how we move to reopen schools.

00:55:26.000 So it's not just about what's happening in the schools.

00:55:28.000 It's about what's happening in the community.

00:55:30.000 If, as members of our community, we can follow those mitigation strategies to make sure that our schools are safe places for our students and for our staff, we should have students in school next year.

00:55:41.000 We should have them in school in the spring.

00:55:44.000 Remember when this was the Party of Science?

00:55:46.000 Yeah, not the Party of Science so much.

00:55:48.000 Yes, the schools should be open now.

00:55:50.000 They should have been open months ago.

00:55:51.000 My kids have been in school the entire year.

00:55:54.000 It is a travesty, particularly targeting minority students, that the schools have not been open. 1.00

00:55:59.000 And you still have members of this admin— It's too soon to tell whether we're going to open in the fall?

00:56:04.000 This is nuts!

00:56:05.000 Meanwhile, speaking of the party of science, remember, the school reopening policy has been driven almost entirely at this point by the teachers' unions.

00:56:11.000 I was told that to deny the unique knowledge and power of the CDC and the American federal government, to do that was to engage in a sort of anti-scientific propagandizing.

00:56:22.000 If you opposed Anthony Fauci anywhere in here, it's because you opposed the science.

00:56:26.000 If you suggested, for example, that perhaps the virus that COVID-19 sprang from a lab leak in China, as Senator Tom Cotton suggested.

00:56:35.000 You were ripped up and down because, hey, how dare you?

00:56:38.000 That's fomenting xenophobia.

00:56:38.000 Now it turns out the former CDC chair, Robert Redfield, he has now come out and he says, oh yeah, by the way, it probably leaks from a lab in China.

00:56:46.000 He just said that today. Okay, but if you're talking about people who do not give a damn about science, they only care about the agenda, this is an amazing story.

00:56:54.000 From U.S.

00:56:55.000 U.S. News and World Report, Lauren Camera, writing, quote, the president of the country's most politically powerful teachers union called into question the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's decision last week to revise from six feet to three feet, its social distancing guideline in schools, arguing the science backing the decision doesn't take into account the unique challenges most urban school districts face.

00:57:14.000 Okay, so the CDC came out in the last couple of weeks and they announced that kids don't need to be six feet apart They probably only need to be three feet apart in schools.

00:57:21.000 By the way, the six feet standard came from absolutely nowhere.

00:57:23.000 If you are somebody who is like a deep believer in six feet, six feet, six feet, there was like no scientific basis to six feet.

00:57:29.000 If somebody sneezes, it goes like 15 feet.

00:57:31.000 And if you're not sneezing, it doesn't go six feet.

00:57:33.000 It goes like two feet.

00:57:34.000 Okay, but The media kept prom- If you don't stay six feet away from that guy next to you, it's because you're- And the schools.

00:57:41.000 Man, we got to keep these kids at least six feet apart. 0.91

00:57:43.000 Then the CDC comes along and they're like, oh yeah, by the way, totally wrong about that.

00:57:47.000 We could have halved the size of the school classrooms and been fine.

00:57:50.000 Kids can be three feet apart.

00:57:51.000 And the teachers unions, because they're running the agenda and they don't want to go back to school ever.

00:57:56.000 They just want to get paid for staying home and zooming in.

00:57:58.000 They say they're not going to listen to the CDC.

00:58:00.000 Are we seeing headlines today about how the teachers unions are anti-science?

00:58:04.000 how the scientific agenda is being thwarted by the teachers unions?

00:58:08.000 Oh yeah, I didn't think so.

00:58:09.000 The American Federation of Teachers President, Randy Weingarten, one of the worst people in America, wrote Tuesday in a letter to CDC Director, Rochelle Walensky and Education Secretary, Miguel Cardona, quote, although I was very worried about the implications of the shift, I reviewed judgment until we could review the new studies that were presented.

00:58:24.000 We have done that this weekend.

00:58:25.000 We appreciate that the body of knowledge regarding the impact of COVID-19 in school environments is expanding, but we're not convinced the evidence supports changing physical distancing requirements at this time.

00:58:35.000 Our concern is that the cited studies do not identify the baseline mitigation strategies needed to support three feet of physical distancing.

00:58:41.000 Moreover, they were not conducted in our nation's highest density and least resourced schools, which have poor ventilation, crowding, and other structural challenges.

00:58:48.000 Okay, my favorite part of that is when Randy Weingarten is like, we haven't tried this in the schools, so we don't know if it works.

00:58:54.000 Right, because the schools are closed.

00:58:57.000 The question is under what circumstances you are going to reopen the schools.

00:59:00.000 You want to talk about anti-scientific?

00:59:02.000 It's like, okay, so here's our theory.

00:59:03.000 We tried this theory.

00:59:04.000 It didn't work.

00:59:04.000 So our new theory is that we don't need to do that.

00:59:07.000 They're like, well, you haven't tested that theory, so probably we'll go back to the first theory.

00:59:10.000 What in the world are you talking about?

00:59:12.000 That's not how science works.

00:59:13.000 Once you've debunked a hypothesis, you don't go back to that hypothesis five seconds later based on the fact you haven't tried another hypothesis. 0.95

00:59:20.000 It's ridiculous.

00:59:21.000 By the way, schools have been open all over the world. 0.76

00:59:23.000 They've been open in Asia.

00:59:24.000 They've been open in Israel.

00:59:25.000 They've been open in, particularly for elementary students, they've been open in Europe.

00:59:30.000 They've been open in vast swaths of the United States.

00:59:33.000 But don't worry, the teachers' unions are all about the science.

00:59:35.000 They're all about the science.

00:59:36.000 Joe Biden was not asked a single question about any of that.

00:59:39.000 He was not, no questions about that.

00:59:42.000 Meanwhile, other things he was not asked questions about.

00:59:44.000 It's an unbelievable story from Politico.

00:59:46.000 Okay, reported by Tara Palmieri and Ben Schreckinger.

00:59:49.000 Okay, in Politico.

00:59:51.000 On October 23rd, 2018, President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, and daughter-in-law, Hallie, were involved in a bizarre incident in which Hallie took Hunter's gun and threw it in a trash can behind a grocery store, only to return later to find it gone.

01:00:03.000 Delaware police began investigating, concerned that the trash can was across from a high school, and that the missing gun could be used in a crime, according to law enforcement officials and a copy of the police report obtained by Politico.

01:00:13.000 But a curious thing happened at the time.

01:00:15.000 Secret service agents approached the owner of the store where Hunter, a derelict, bought the gun and asked to take the paperwork involving the sale, according to two people, one of whom has first-hand knowledge of the episode, and the other was briefed by a secret service agent after the fact.

01:00:27.000 The gun store owner refused to supply the paperwork, suspecting, correctly, that the secret service officers wanted to hide Hunter's ownership of the missing gun in case it were to be involved in a crime, the two people said.

01:00:35.000 The owner, Ron Palmieri, later turned over the papers to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, which oversees federal gun laws.

01:00:42.000 The Secret Service says it has no record of its agents investigating the incident.

01:00:45.000 Joe Biden, who was not under protection at the time, said through a spokesperson he has no knowledge of any Secret Service involvement. Days later, the gun was returned by an older man who regularly rummages through the grocery store's trash to collect recyclables, according to people familiar with the situation. The incident did not result in charges or arrests.

01:01:00.000 Okay, so just to get this straight, what happened, apparently, is that Hunter, he was dating his brother's widow, I think is the story here, and they, she, for some odd reason, took his gun and threw it in the garbage bin behind a store, which is across from a high school.

01:01:22.000 And the Secret Service then went and tried to clean it up.

01:01:24.000 And there will be no charges resulting.

01:01:26.000 These are the same people who are like, we need strict gun laws, guys.

01:01:28.000 Gun laws.

01:01:29.000 We need them.

01:01:30.000 We need strict gun laws so that people who mistreat, mishandle weapons get prosecuted.

01:01:33.000 Unless your name is Hunter Biden, apparently.

01:01:36.000 The gun store incident occurred during a period after Hunter Biden's administrative discharge from the Naval Reserves for his positive cocaine test and a subsequent divorce from his first wife Kathleen.

01:01:44.000 At the time of the gun incident, Hunter was in a romantic relationship with Hallie, the widow of his late brother Beau.

01:01:50.000 Apparently, he illegally obtained a gun.

01:01:53.000 He bought the gun October 12, 2018.

01:01:55.000 He responded no to a question on the transaction record that asked, quote, Are you an unlawful user of or addicted to marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?

01:02:06.000 Five years earlier, he'd been discharged from the Navy Reserve after testing positive for coke.

01:02:10.000 He and family members have spoken about his history of drug use, lying on the form as a felony, though prosecutions are extremely rare.

01:02:16.000 So it sounds like he bought the gun illegally.

01:02:18.000 That's what it sounds like.

01:02:20.000 Because there's fairly good contemporaneous evidence that Hunter was not off the sauce.

01:02:24.000 And then, he was dating his brother's widow, and apparently, the incident began when Hallie searched Hunter's pickup, which was parked at her home in Wilmington, because of unspecified suspicions she had, according to a Delaware State Police report.

01:02:37.000 Inside the truck, she found a .38 revolver.

01:02:39.000 Hallie took the gun to Janssen's Market, a nearby high-end grocery store where the Bidens are longtime regular customers.

01:02:44.000 There, she tossed the gun wrapped in a black shopping bag into a trash bin outside of the store.

01:02:49.000 Which, by the way, is not the way that you get rid of guns.

01:02:51.000 Just note to the wise, if you have a functional weapon...

01:02:54.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:02:55.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons. 1.00

01:02:57.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:02:59.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons. 1.00

01:03:00.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:03:01.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons. 1.00

01:03:02.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:03:04.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons. 1.00

01:03:06.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:03:07.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons. 1.00

01:03:08.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:03:09.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons. 1.00

01:03:10.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:03:11.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons. 1.00

01:03:12.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:03:13.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons. 1.00

01:03:15.000 You know what you don't do to get rid of it? 1.00

01:03:16.000 Just toss it in the garbage can, you morons Arriving on the scene, Delaware Stadies retrieved security camera footage from the store, interviewed Jansen, the store manager. 0.99

01:03:24.000 Quote, we complied with the police, gave them whatever security footage we could, Jansen told Politico. 0.99

01:03:28.000 The FBI also responded.

01:03:30.000 At the time, the FBI was already monitoring Hunter as part of an investigation that remains ongoing and currently focuses on his taxes.

01:03:37.000 No comment from the FBI.

01:03:38.000 In addition to questioning Hallie, police called Hunter to the scene.

01:03:41.000 He was questioned outside the store's loading dock area, and explained he used the gun for target practice.

01:03:45.000 At one point, two of Janssen's employees, described by the police report as Mexican males, walked past the loading dock area, and Hunter told a police officer the store had some suspicious people working for it.

01:03:55.000 Asked if he was referring to those two staffers, Hunter responded, yeah, probably illegal, according to the report. 0.92

01:04:00.000 He's a racist also! 0.99

01:04:02.000 He's a drug-addled, gun-toting racist who illegally obtained his weapon. 1.00

01:04:07.000 No problems here, guys. 1.00

01:04:08.000 Everything is totally fine.

01:04:11.000 This story has all the things.

01:04:13.000 All of them.

01:04:14.000 Two Mexican workers walk past.

01:04:16.000 He's like, oh, those are probably illegal.

01:04:17.000 Based on what?

01:04:17.000 The fact that they're of Mexican extraction?

01:04:20.000 And based on the fact that you're apparently a criminal?

01:04:23.000 When a police officer asked Hunter whether the gun had been used in a crime, the officer reported to Hunter, quote, became very agitated with me and asked if I was intentionally trying to make him mad.

01:04:31.000 When the officer asked Hunter whether he had been doing drugs or drinking heavily, he said, listen, it isn't like that.

01:04:35.000 I think she believes I was gonna kill myself, according to the report.

01:04:38.000 An officer asked Hunter whether he had called his dad.

01:04:40.000 Hunter said, I've never called my dad for anything, according to the police report, which we know is a lie.

01:04:44.000 After being questioned, Hunter retrieved the case for the gun, which included the gun's serial number, from Hallie's house, returned to the grocery store, and handed it over to the cops.

01:04:53.000 When police questioned Hunter and Hallie, two Secret Service agents arrived.

01:04:57.000 They went to the store where Hunter purchased the gun.

01:04:59.000 The agents showed their badges and ID cards to Palmieri, the store's owner, and asked to take possession of the firearms transaction record Hunter had filled out.

01:05:07.000 She said no.

01:05:10.000 Palmieri said, no, I'm not going to do that.

01:05:13.000 The Secret Service left without the records, and Palmieri handed over the transaction record to the ATF.

01:05:21.000 The ATF spokesperson referred questions to the Delaware Stadies.

01:05:24.000 Jason Hatchell, spokesperson for Delaware State Police, said any freedom of information, any questions about the incident would have to be filed through a FOIA request.

01:05:32.000 The Delaware State Police already rejected Politico's FOIA request for records related to the incident last November.

01:05:39.000 It's amazing, okay?

01:05:40.000 There's been no major media coverage of this, because that's what the establishment media will never cover, is the fact that Hunter Biden is a derelict, and his dad knew about it for years, and apparently facilitated the dereliction in a wide variety of cases, including Hunter rushing about the globe, picking up bags of cash in different places.

01:05:59.000 A White House spokesperson said Biden was not aware of any Secret Service involvement in the episode.

01:06:03.000 Just change the name.

01:06:05.000 Biden to Trump and imagine the size of the scandal.

01:06:08.000 But don't worry, Biden is a good guy.

01:06:11.000 He's a nice guy.

01:06:11.000 So we don't cover what happened with Hunter.

01:06:13.000 By the way, speaking of hypocrisy, authoritarianism, by the way, relies on hypocrisy. 0.85

01:06:18.000 The Cuomo family also, apparently, has engaged in an enormous amount of hypocrisy. 0.58

01:06:22.000 It turns out, according to the New York Times, Governor Andrew Cuomo's administration arranged special access to government-run coronavirus testing for members of his family and other influential people as the pandemic descended on New York last year.

01:06:32.000 The move to make testing of people closely tied to Cuomo a priority was carried out by high-ranking state health officials, according to one of the people.

01:06:38.000 It happened in March 2020.

01:06:39.000 Testing was still not widely available, but Andrew made sure that his family members had it.

01:06:44.000 Just like our brand new Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services, Dr. Rachel Levine, ensured that Dr. Levine's mom was not in a nursing home when all the COVID-positive patients were being shipped back into the nursing homes.

01:06:54.000 Weird how this seems to keep happening with Democrats, how the rules don't apply to them.

01:06:59.000 The gun control left has no worries about Hunter Biden, a drug-addicted derelict, Leaving his gun out and then having it thrown in a garbage can behind a high school.

01:07:11.000 And lying, apparently, on his forums about obtaining the gun in the first place.

01:07:14.000 That's totally fine.

01:07:15.000 But you, law-abiding citizen, you need to lose your gun.

01:07:17.000 You can't get a test in New York in March 2020, but you know who can.

01:07:20.000 If your last name is Cuomo, you can get a test.

01:07:23.000 And then you can go on national TV and you can hang out with your bro and talk about the size of your nostrils and did mom love you best.

01:07:30.000 Yes, we need to give more power and control to these folks. 1.00

01:07:32.000 More power and control.

01:07:33.000 Top down.

01:07:34.000 They're gonna fix everything, and they care about you.

01:07:35.000 They don't care about their own.

01:07:36.000 They care about you.

01:07:37.000 They're just caring and nice and wonderful.

01:07:40.000 Amazing, amazing stuff.
