00:00:10.000 His co defendants include every single scientist and doctor who said that boys can become girls, violating thousands of years of common sense and literally all of human biology in the process.

00:00:20.000 Fauci's co defendants ought to include everyone claiming today that there is something in the water making the kids more autistic today than even a few decades ago.

00:00:27.000 We're going to examine the actual facts on that.

00:00:28.000 We're going to do some myth busting today.

00:00:31.000 We're saying all the things, and we're going to use data, you know, like actual data to back it up.

00:00:35.000 Because, you know, what else should we use to determine the truth?

00:00:38.000 Like, no data?

00:00:39.000 We're going to have to pick one, like the data or the no data.

00:00:41.000 Data isn't perfect, but I promise you, no data is less perfect.

00:00:44.000 And this brings us to another organization called the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, WPATH. 0.66

00:00:52.000 And so, WPATH was used again, this is the absolute gutting of scientific institutions and the wearing around of their faces as masks a la Hannibal Lecter is insane.

00:01:03.000 During the same period where Fauci was walking around saying that he was the science while systematically undermining the science, this was done in far worse and more damaging ways by WPATH.

00:01:14.000 WPATH was the organization that was promoting the idea that you should hormonally and surgically mutilate little boys and girls because boys could, in fact, become girls.

00:01:23.000 And they lied and obscured data to promote that idea, despite literally all evidence to the contrary.

00:01:28.000 There is no evidence to back a single proposition they were promoting.

00:01:32.000 And they didn't just wind up with tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of kids. 0.98

00:01:37.000 Surgically and hormonally mutilated, they ended up destroying all faith in science because all the dumb scientific institutions followed and echoed their evil crap, like the American Academy of Pediatrics. 0.95

00:01:49.000 And it turns out when your pediatrician is telling you boys can become girls, you would rather listen to the roadside psychic than that pediatrician.

00:01:58.000 Again, I'm pissed at Fauci because it was his malpractice that led Americans to trust conspiratorial randos about medicine over actual doctors.

00:02:05.000 And I'm pissed at those doctors who listened to Fauci. 0.63

00:02:07.000 I'm pissed at all of the doctors and professional associations that pretended that transgender health, scare quotes, was even a thing because their arrogance led to a trail of dead and mutilated bodies and to the complete erosion of any level of respect for scientific institutions more broadly. 0.63

00:02:24.000 Because it has now emerged in a legal filing from the end of July.

00:02:29.000 WPATH, which again was this fake scientific organization that was just an interest group for hormonally transitioning the kids, moved to dismiss a lawsuit.

00:02:37.000 By the FTC for defrauding patients into trans health procedures by pushing false information about the outcomes of the procedures, namely that boys could become girls through hormones and surgery.

00:02:46.000 So, what exactly was their defense?

00:02:49.000 What did WPATH say?

00:02:51.000 Well, first, they wrote this WPATH engages in this significant medical debate by publishing academic and clinical guidelines for healthcare providers for the provision of transgender healthcare.

00:03:00.000 Plaintiffs acknowledge there are parties on both sides of this medical debate.

00:03:03.000 WPATH is on one side of that debate and provides guidance on how to best provide transgender healthcare.

00:03:09.000 Others, such as Dr. Hillary Cass, fall on the other side of that debate and disagree with how to, or if one should, provide transgender health care to adolescents.

00:03:17.000 And their argument, their key argument, is not that their science is good, but that they are engaged in free speech.

00:03:25.000 That transgender health care, they say, is an area of intense medical debate does not entitle plaintiffs to prevent individuals and organizations like WPATH from speech aimed at contributing to that debate.

00:03:34.000 Participation in such a debate is exactly the type of speech the First Amendment is intended to protect.

00:03:38.000 So here's the thing.

00:03:40.000 It is not a First Amendment protected activity to sell snake oil.

00:03:44.000 If I go out there and I label a bottle that this snake oil right here will cure your propetia and it does not, that is an actionable cause in a court of law.

00:03:56.000 If you go out and lie and say boys can become girls, you can't just claim as a medical organization recommending standards of care that you are engaging in free speech.

00:04:05.000 This is not a matter of public debate. 0.86

00:04:06.000 Boys cannot become girls.

00:04:09.000 There is zero evidence that boys can become girls.

00:04:12.000 There is zero evidence to back any of the positions that WPATH has taken.

00:04:18.000 WPATH concedes that its standards of care are not rooted in fact.

00:04:21.000 They are, quote unquote, merely an opinion.

00:04:25.000 WPATH actually leans on the Scrometty ruling from the Supreme Court.

00:04:28.000 That allowed states to ban transgender interventions for minors and the pro conversion therapy, Chiles versus Salazar, ruling from the Supreme Court, to say that it's basically the same as when you say that I should be able to take my kid to a therapist to deal with gender dysphoria.

00:04:41.000 Now, to me, that is not just a free speech issue, and it shouldn't have even been decided on first, it should be decided on actual scientific grounds.

00:04:49.000 There is no data to suggest that what WPATH has been pushing is remotely standard of care.

00:04:55.000 But the bottom line is this WPATH wore around the scientific institutions as a face mask in order to promote a bunch of propaganda in the same way that Fauci did that. 0.86

00:05:04.000 And if you keep doing this over and over and over, if you do it over and over, if you take all the scientific institutions and you turn them into left wing social propaganda, if you, the scientific community, spend all of 2020 telling us that COVID is so deadly, I can't take my kids to the beach, but also, If my kids are being taken to a BLM protest, they can spit all over everyone and it's totally fine. 0.57

00:05:25.000 At a certain point, people stop trusting the science altogether.

00:05:29.000 And this is a tragedy because, again, I'm a data guy.

00:05:34.000 I don't like woo woo crystals.

00:05:36.000 I don't like empty speculation.

00:05:37.000 Again, that doesn't mean I'm always right.

00:05:40.000 It means that my opinion will change with the data.

00:05:42.000 But it also means that when people just come up with stuff out of pure thin air, I'm going to call it out.

00:05:50.000 So, this brings us to a press conference that was held at the White House with regard to vaccines.

00:05:55.000 The president yesterday signed an executive order that backed fewer routine vaccines for kids.

00:06:00.000 That's fine.

00:06:00.000 I'm actually rather indifferent to this.

00:06:02.000 The reason I'm indifferent to this is because different countries have different standards for the number and the schedule for childhood vaccines.

00:06:07.000 So, Denmark, for example, has fewer childhood vaccines.

00:06:09.000 I believe it's like seven, and they spaced them out differently.

00:06:12.000 The United States has, I think, 14 or 15.

00:06:17.000 They're whittling it down to 11.

00:06:19.000 That's all fine.

00:06:20.000 That doesn't bother me because some of these vaccines, again, these are recommendations.

00:06:23.000 They're not mandates, number one.

00:06:25.000 Number two, when you are talking about the vaccinations, That are most likely to prevent health problems.

00:06:32.000 They're not all equivalent, right?

00:06:33.000 The HPV vaccine.

00:06:35.000 HPV is a sexually transmitted disease, typically speaking, that leads to cancer.

00:06:40.000 And so it seems like a matter of parental choice whether you are deeply worried your kid is going to get HPV.

00:06:48.000 That's an activity based thing.

00:06:50.000 It is not quite the same as, say, MMR, which is just infectious.

00:06:54.000 So not all vaccines are for the same diseases.

00:06:56.000 Not all vaccines are equally effective.

00:06:58.000 Okay, fine.

00:06:58.000 You want to make a scientific argument that we should space these things out over time.

00:07:01.000 And by the way, it typically is not because.

00:07:03.000 You know, quote unquote, you're shooting your child full of chemicals.

00:07:05.000 The reason why the Europeans do it differently very often has to do with their sort of nationalized healthcare systems, how often you're expected to visit the doctor, the levels of prevalence of particular diseases in particular countries, and all the rest.

00:07:18.000 So it's a little more complicated than the way that people want to make it out.

00:07:22.000 I will tell you what is not particularly complicated.

00:07:24.000 There is no data, none, okay, zero that links vaccines to autism.

00:07:30.000 This is not a scientifically backed concept.

00:07:33.000 It just is not.

00:07:34.000 And this is what the president was out there promoting yesterday.

00:07:37.000 And this I object to.

00:07:38.000 Because again, data, science.

00:07:42.000 This, of course, has been a big push by RFK Jr., the Secretary of Health and Human Services, for years.

00:07:49.000 And the president went out there and he suggested that the vaccine schedule being broken up will decrease autism.

00:07:54.000 There is, the data just do not exist for this proposition.

00:07:57.000 They don't.

00:08:01.000 Decades ago, children received only a small fraction of the vaccines required today.

00:08:06.000 In those times, people were much healthier.

00:08:09.000 And of course, The high rates of autism now observed did not exist.

00:08:15.000 So there's a reason for such epidemic rates of autism.

00:08:20.000 And we're going to bring it back to much closer to where it was.

00:08:25.000 Well, we do not know exactly what the cause is with respect to autism.

00:08:29.000 It is essential to our research efforts that we have the very best vaccine recommendations in the entire world.

00:08:36.000 So we're reducing them.

00:08:37.000 We're changing it to visits over a period of a year, a year and a half, so they get.

00:08:43.000 20% of what they would have gotten in one big shot.

00:08:48.000 Yeah, now again, when he says one big shot, he says that it's like a water bottle filled with vaccine.

00:08:53.000 That's not right.

00:08:53.000 Okay, just had a baby.

00:08:55.000 The baby got some vaccines and got other vaccines.

00:08:58.000 We have open conversations in our household about when to get which.

00:09:03.000 I don't have a problem with changing the vaccine schedule.

00:09:05.000 Suggesting that this is going to reduce autism diagnosis in the United States, there's no evidence to back this.

00:10:25.000 And now, again, the person who's most been associated with promoting this nonsense is a guy named Andrew Wakefield.

00:10:31.000 Andrew Wakefield published a paper in 1998 suggesting that there is a link between vaccination and autism.

00:10:39.000 So in the original paper, which was retracted by Lancet, it was published by Lancet and then it was retracted in 2010.

00:10:45.000 According to Lancet, in the original paper, Wakefield and 12 co authors claimed to have investigated a consecutive series of 12 children referred to the Royal Free Hospital and School of Medicine with chronic.

00:10:54.000 Enterocolitis and regressive developmental disorder.

00:10:57.000 The authors reported that the parents of eight of the 12 children associated their loss of acquired skills, including language, with the MMR vaccine.

00:11:03.000 Now, again, that is self reported, number one.

00:11:06.000 Number two, that is an extraordinarily small sample size.

00:11:08.000 And number three, it turns out that Wakefield had been selecting these people and that his research had been funded by lawyers acting for the parents who were trying to sue the vaccine manufacturers.

00:11:21.000 And it turns out that the British General Medical Council found that Wakefield had acted unethically and had shown callous disregard.

00:11:26.000 For the children in his study upon whom the invasive tests were performed.

00:11:31.000 And all of this was fueled by Wakefield pushing single vaccines rather than, for example, the combined MMR.

00:11:36.000 The new schedule that Trump is suggesting separates off M and MNR, right?

00:11:39.000 Measles and mumps and rubella, as opposed to one shot.

00:11:42.000 Now, the reason why all this was combined was to minimize inconvenience and ensure that actually kids were getting that full battery of vaccines.

00:11:51.000 Separating them off, the idea goes, means three separate visits.

00:11:53.000 How many parents want to go to the doctor three separate times as opposed to just doing it once and being done with it?

00:11:58.000 And again, For the third time, I'm not arguing that we can't make changes to the vaccine schedule based on the best possible science or good decision making.

00:12:08.000 But the attempt to link this with autism diagnosis is ascientific.

00:12:13.000 RFK Jr. was doing this routine yesterday.

00:12:18.000 1970, the biggest epidemiological study at that time in history was performed.

00:12:25.000 And the university scientists from across this country looked at all the eight year olds in Wisconsin, about 900,000 children.

00:12:34.000 And they were looking for autism, and they knew what autism looked like.

00:12:38.000 And they came back with an incidental rate of 0.8 per 10,000.

00:12:45.000 So less than 1 in 10,000.

00:12:48.000 The rate, according to CDC today in this country, is 1 in every 31 children.

00:12:54.000 In California, it's 1 in every 19 children, 1 in every 12.5 boys.

00:13:00.000 So there has been a dramatic increase.

00:13:04.000 Okay, so then.

00:13:06.000 RFK said that it's not just that we're noticing it more, right?

00:13:08.000 It's not just overdiagnosis, it's real.

00:13:12.000 One of the things that the industry likes to say, one of the talking points, which the press loves to parrot, is oh, we're just noticing it more.

00:13:23.000 But this is an absurdity, and this is an assertion that has been debunked again and again and again by peer reviewed literature.

00:13:31.000 It's also debunked by common sense, because if we were just noticing it more, we would notice it in older groups.

00:13:39.000 We're not.

00:13:40.000 We're only noticing it in kids who were born around 1989 or after.

00:13:47.000 The older generations, you're not seeing those increases.

00:13:50.000 So something happened in the mid-90s that changed our children.

00:13:58.000 And it has to be an environmental exposure.

00:14:01.000 Because genes don't cause epidemics.

00:14:03.000 It can provide a vulnerability, but you need an environmental toxin.

00:14:10.000 Okay, so again, he's trying to argue that the environment is what's causing the autism epidemic and all the rest of this.

00:14:15.000 So I want to start with this chart.

00:14:16.000 Okay, this is a chart that shows you autism prevalence in California.

00:14:20.000 We'll use California because that is a case where really, really large levels of diagnosis.

00:14:24.000 He says one in every 19 children.

00:14:25.000 Okay, fine.

00:14:26.000 So this is a chart from the California Department of Developmental Services showing autism disorder cases by birth year going all the way back to 1947.

00:14:36.000 So what do you see?

00:14:37.000 You see a slight increase in diagnoses all the way up to about 1975.

00:14:45.000 And then you see a more marked increase, but still really, really, really low, all the way up to about 1990.

00:14:51.000 And then you see a skyrocketing increase in autism diagnoses.

00:14:55.000 That is what you see.

00:14:56.000 You see an exponential chart here, but it really starts to take off around 1990, right around 1990.

00:15:01.000 Okay, so now I need to discuss why that is happening.

00:15:08.000 The reason that you are seeing that is because the American with Disabilities Act was passed in 1975, it funded Schools to a greater tune because of disability claims.

00:15:19.000 In 1990, the federal government reset the standards for disability claims in schools, and they included autism.

00:15:25.000 And now it turns out that if you are a school and you wish for additional federal or state monies, a great way to do that is additional autism claims.

00:15:34.000 Same thing with ADHD, by the way.

00:15:36.000 Okay, how do I know that this is a case of incentives creating outcomes?

00:15:41.000 Because there was a study that was done by Fernier, Gagnon, and Durkin this year.

00:15:46.000 Okay, and it compared autism prevalence by functional severity.

00:15:52.000 So, anybody who has ever met kids with actual severe autism, moderate to profound autism, this is a real thing.

00:15:59.000 Okay, this is not Elon, is just a weird guy.

00:16:02.000 And we now have this thing.

00:16:03.000 It's happening in middle schools, by the way, where kids will say, Do you have the tism, right?

00:16:07.000 Meaning autism, because it becomes so common for people to claim autism. 0.99

00:16:11.000 And basically, if you're weird or if you have a particular skill set or if you're kind of smart, people will say that you're autistic now, which is stupid. 0.99

00:16:17.000 Autism is a real thing. 0.99

00:16:19.000 And severe autism is disabling.

00:16:21.000 I mean, kids with severe autism very often cannot talk, they cannot interact in society.

00:16:27.000 Having moderate autism means that you largely cannot fully interact.

00:16:31.000 You need very often full time care. 0.91

00:16:34.000 That is not the same thing as you're a weirdo with a 158 IQ. 0.73

00:16:37.000 That is not the same thing.

00:16:40.000 I mean, even if you go back to Rain Man, the whole point of Rain Man is that Dustin Hoffman, who has autism, is supposed to have a particular set of skills, but is not capable of being cared for by his brother.

00:16:51.000 He requires full time care.

00:16:53.000 Autism is not just your buddy's a little bit weird around people.

00:16:57.000 That's not autism.

00:16:58.000 And guess what?

00:16:59.000 It turns out.

00:17:00.000 That prevalence by functional severity, meaning diagnoses of moderate to profound autism, are they up since 2000?

00:17:10.000 They are down since 2000.

00:17:12.000 Diagnosis for eight year olds of moderate to profound autism was 1.5 per 1,000 children in 2000.

00:17:20.000 It is 1.2 per 1,000 children in 2016.

00:17:23.000 At the same time, the chart is going like this.

00:17:24.000 That's so weird.

00:17:25.000 So, moderate and profound, meaning like real hardcore autism, is actually slightly down.

00:17:31.000 Between 2000 and 2016, while the rest of the chart is going like that, is skyrocketing.

00:17:35.000 How about mild autism?

00:17:37.000 Mild autism, the diagnosis rate for eight year olds, has more than doubled.

00:17:43.000 In 2000, it was 3.1 per 1,000 children.

00:17:45.000 Now it is 7.3 per 1,000 children.

00:17:49.000 Borderline has absolutely skyrocketed.

00:17:52.000 Absolutely skyrocketed.

00:17:53.000 You're talking a difference between 1.4 and 6.9.

00:17:58.000 Okay, so it is multiplied there by a factor of five or so.

00:18:04.000 Now, does anyone think?

00:18:06.000 Why would that be?

00:18:07.000 Why wouldn't this chart be the same, right?

00:18:09.000 If autism diagnoses are increasing across the board, wouldn't you expect more moderate to profound cases?

00:18:15.000 But why is moderate to profound declining while mild and borderline are wildly increasing?

00:18:20.000 And no significant challenges from 0.6 to 3.4, which, again, not to do some bad math here, that is like almost a 6x increase between 2000 and 2016.

00:18:32.000 So basically, if you're mild, borderline, or no significant challenges, massive increase in diagnosis.

00:18:37.000 If you're a moderate to profound, Decrease in diagnosis.

00:18:40.000 Hmm.

00:18:41.000 What could explain this?

00:18:42.000 Could it be the possibility that just as the number of COVID-attributed deaths skyrocketed when the federal government started paying hospitals based on COVID deaths, and so people started mislabeling heart attacks COVID, could it be that you're getting a mass overdiagnosis?

00:18:57.000 Because I can show you similar charts.

00:18:59.000 It turns out that public policy has this impact on a wide variety of maladies.

00:19:04.000 Here, for example, is a chart demonstrating Social Security disability spending.

00:19:10.000 In billions of 2013 dollars, dating back from 1960 forward through 2013.

00:19:15.000 And what do you see here?

00:19:16.000 Well, you see a pretty massive increase in disability all the way up to about 1978, 1979.

00:19:22.000 Why?

00:19:23.000 Because the federal government started making Social Security disability more widely available.

00:19:27.000 Then it turned out a lot of people were engaging in fraud, right?

00:19:31.000 This would be the so called welfare queen period, where people were claiming disability, didn't actually have disability.

00:19:36.000 And so a bunch of restrictions were put on reception of disability and also the number of benefits, amount of benefits received.

00:19:42.000 And so you see a complete flatlining of disability spending between 1978 and essentially 1990.

00:19:49.000 And then there's a recession, and people start claiming disability to get the money.

00:19:53.000 And then government loosens it up, and boom, exponential growth.

00:19:56.000 It's almost as though people respond to incentive structures.

00:20:02.000 And so, why am I pointing this out?

00:20:03.000 Because, again, data matters.

00:20:05.000 And this to me remains the greatest sin of people like Anthony Fauci.

00:20:08.000 They destroyed any faith in data, they destroyed any faith in science because they had a preset system of things that you were supposed to care about.

00:20:16.000 And then they just obviated the data, they just decided to excise the data.

00:20:20.000 Or on trans stuff, they decided to just excise the data.

00:20:23.000 And I don't like it from any side.

00:20:25.000 Because again, the data isn't always going to be perfect.

00:20:28.000 We're going to get better data over time.

00:20:30.000 We need better systems to check the data, by the way.

00:20:32.000 It turns out a huge number of studies are not replicable.

00:20:36.000 We actually, I would suggest, need a massive 501c3 whose entire job is to just replicate the studies of others to demonstrate what is true and what is false.

00:20:45.000 But what we have seen in science is the same thing we have seen in a wide variety of other institutions in America.

00:20:51.000 And that is that we have destroyed trust in the key institutions that make America function.
