00:00:00.000 Well, the future of the GOP, the Republican Party, was up for grabs in Kentucky's fourth congressional district last night.
00:00:06.000 It was the most expensive House primary race in history and a bellwether for what comes next inside the GOP.
00:00:13.000 Thomas Massey versus President Trump, online versus reality, woke right versus traditional Trump right.
00:00:20.000 And Trump won.
00:00:21.000 And reality won.
00:00:23.000 Turns out the future still belongs to the rational right.
00:00:25.000 It belongs to President Trump inside the Republican Party, so long as President Trump is president.
00:00:30.000 We'll get into every spicy detail in just one moment.
00:00:33.000 This is The Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:43.000 So it turns out that this race was not particularly close.
00:00:45.000 Ed Gallerine, who was the former Navy SEAL opponent of Thomas Massey, Massey, of course, has been in Congress since 2012.
00:00:52.000 He's a 14 year, seven term congressman.
00:00:54.000 Massey was destroyed by Gallerine last night.
00:00:58.000 By 7 45 p.m. Eastern Time, it was over.
00:01:01.000 Gallerine ended up winning about 55% of the vote.
00:01:04.000 Massey ended up at 45% of the vote.
00:01:07.000 So let's begin at the beginning because there are a lot of stories, a lot of tales being told about what defeated Thomas Massey.
00:01:13.000 The Thomas Massey was defeated.
00:01:15.000 By APAC money, that Thomas Massey was defeated over his strong opposition to Israel and all the rest.
00:01:20.000 That is not what happened.
00:01:23.000 Thomas Massey lost his seat.
00:01:25.000 Again, he had held that seat since 2012.
00:01:27.000 He was very popular in his district, and that district happens to have gone for President Trump by 35 to 40 points in the last several election cycles.
00:01:35.000 Massey lost that seat because he decided that he wanted to go to war with President Trump on policy and also personally.
00:01:41.000 That's the reality.
00:01:42.000 That's the actual story, pretty much the whole story in the Kentucky Fourth.
00:01:46.000 Now, again, it was a very, very expensive race, about $33 million.
00:01:49.000 Was spent in the race.
00:01:51.000 Massey directly outspent Gal Ryan, $5.8 million to $2.6 million.
00:01:56.000 And then super PACs got involved.
00:01:58.000 Supporters of President Trump, people who are pro Israel, spent some $16 million against Massey in the race.
00:02:04.000 Massey's supportive super PACs spent some $10 million in the race.
00:02:08.000 So lots of money pouring in.
00:02:10.000 But I think that to understand the race, you actually have to understand what people in Kentucky's 4th district were watching.
00:02:16.000 They were not all on X, they were not all online, they were not watching the same race.
00:02:21.000 That many of us who are in the online world and podcastistan, as it's called, were watching.
00:02:26.000 So, I want to show you the actual ads, the kinds of ads that were running in Kentucky's 4th District, because it tells you what this race was about.
00:02:34.000 So, Massey's strategy in his TV ads was to hump President Trump's leg.
00:02:38.000 That was his strategy.
00:02:40.000 His strategy was what if I oppose President Trump on all of his major policy proposals?
00:02:44.000 What if I throw a bunch of conspiratorial nonsense crap at President Trump about Jeffrey Epstein?
00:02:49.000 But when it comes time for reelect, then I hump his leg like a dog in heat.
00:02:54.000 A pro Thomas Massey ad.
00:02:58.000 So there's no sense in trying to avoid it.
00:03:00.000 Let's just talk about the elephant in the room.
00:03:02.000 I agree with President Trump's hat on.
00:03:04.000 President Trump's hat on.
00:03:05.000 More than I disagree with him.
00:03:07.000 The list is long.
00:03:08.000 The Save America Act to require proof of citizenship to vote.
00:03:12.000 Stopping immigrant welfare.
00:03:14.000 Fighting the woke agenda.
00:03:15.000 Defending the Second Amendment.
00:03:17.000 Protecting the life of the unborn.
00:03:19.000 Securing the border.
00:03:21.000 I'm Thomas Massey, and I approve this message because President Trump and I have a whole lot more to get done together.
00:03:29.000 Now, again, that ad is psychotic.
00:03:31.000 They have a whole lot to get done together.
00:03:32.000 Now, here's the thing Massey opposed Trump on a lot of issues where, frankly, I don't think he was wrong.
00:03:39.000 He is a fiscal conservative.
00:03:40.000 In fact, if you go back and look at things I've said about Thomas Massey in the past, he's been staunchly small government in ways that I largely support.
00:03:47.000 But that is not what happened.
00:03:48.000 What actually happened is he decided that he was going to be a gadfly Republican congressperson who was totally useless to Trump, and then he was going to attack Trump directly.
00:03:58.000 He refused to support all of Trump's major legislative initiatives.
00:04:02.000 The one big beautiful bill.
00:04:04.000 He was one of only two House Republicans to vote against it.
00:04:08.000 He decided that he was going to hold up in 2020 the COVID stimulus package.
00:04:12.000 Again, I'm not saying that he was wrong on all of this, but this is why Trump was pissed off.
00:04:16.000 In 2025, he decided that he was going to join with Democrats to try to stop President Trump's airstrikes on Iran.
00:04:25.000 And then, of course, his biggest move was that he was going to push Trump on the Epstein files.
00:04:31.000 He was going to suggest there was some deep, dark conspiracy about Epstein.
00:04:33.000 By the way, on the SAVE Act, he voted no on a procedural rule.
00:04:36.000 That would have enabled the bill to come to the floor.
00:04:38.000 It was really Epstein stuff that set Trump off.
00:04:40.000 Because there are a lot of Congress people who have voted against Trump occasionally, and he's okay with that.
00:04:44.000 The thing about Massey is, he decided that he was going to join with Democrats in pushing a bunch of online conspiratorial nonsense, including the idea that President Trump was actively covering up some sort of sex trafficking ring involving important people who are Trump's friends or Trump himself.
00:04:59.000 And he joined with Ro Khanna, another conspiratorial Democrat, in order to do this.
00:05:04.000 This was just, again, last year.
00:05:10.000 Six men, we went in there for two hours.
00:05:12.000 There's millions of files, right?
00:05:14.000 And in a couple of hours, we found six men whose names have been redacted who are implicated in the way that the files are presented.
00:05:24.000 Now, again, you should remember that those six men that he was talking about there, they had to apologize after naming them on the floor of Congress because it turns out it was total crap.
00:05:31.000 So Massey decided to go to war with President Trump.
00:05:34.000 But then every ad that he ran in his district, all the ads, the ones that, you know, the normie people who are not online all the time were watching, It was Massey trying to grab Trump and hug him, to bear hug him.
00:05:44.000 And meanwhile, Trump was deploying his entire administration to say, I want nothing to do with this schmuck.
00:05:48.000 I don't like this guy at all.
00:05:50.000 President Trump actually broke his own Twitter ban in order to go on Twitter.
00:05:54.000 So he has Truth Social, his own social media project.
00:05:57.000 And he decided he was going to go on Twitter.
00:05:59.000 And then he was going to himself step in and basically stomp on Massey the day before the election.
00:06:05.000 Quote, horrible Congressman Thomas Massey put out an old endorsement from many years ago of him by me.
00:06:10.000 Long before I knew he was the worst Congressman in the history of our country.
00:06:13.000 I endorsed Ed Galrind.
00:06:15.000 A true American patriot, which Massey knows full well.
00:06:17.000 So the statement he put out is fraudulent, just like he is fraudulent.
00:06:19.000 Withdraw your fake statement, Massey, right now, President Donald Trump.
00:06:24.000 Hey, so again, if you were a normie in Kentucky's 4th congressional district, what you were watching was a congressman who President Trump did not like because that congressman voted against all of his priorities and was joining with Democrats in order to do that and had personally gone after Trump and basically accused him of covering up a child sex trafficking ring.
00:06:43.000 And that guy, that same congressman, was trying to hump Trump's leg.
00:06:46.000 Ed Gallerine's ads were all about how, wait for it, Thomas Massey did not support Trump properly.
00:06:51.000 So here was a pro Gallerine ad.
00:06:55.000 This is a real hero, Ed Gallerine.
00:07:01.000 He's a farmer, he's a tremendous war hero, and he's a great patriot.
00:07:06.000 I can tell you he's strong as hell.
00:07:07.000 He shook my hand.
00:07:08.000 My hand is still recovering.
00:07:10.000 I'm telling you, that is the greatest candidate.
00:07:13.000 This guy is unbelievable.
00:07:15.000 He is central casting.
00:07:17.000 Just elect him, Ed Gallerine.
00:07:20.000 As my complete and total endorsement.
00:07:23.000 I'm Ed Galleron, and I've written this message.
00:07:26.000 Okay, so it was very clear what this race was about, right?
00:07:28.000 Thomas Massey decided to go up against Trump, and Trump just destroyed him.
00:07:31.000 That's all.
00:07:32.000 Harry Enton points out over at CNN that in 2020, 2022, and 2024, when Massey held similar positions but had decided not to go up against Trump on every major legislative priority and also steer directly into conspiracy land, he got 75% of the vote.
00:07:48.000 This time, he ended up at 45% of the vote.
00:07:50.000 Here is Harry Enton explaining.
00:07:52.000 And if you look at Thomas Massey, you can see it very clearly.
00:07:55.000 You look in 2020, 2022, 2024, he was getting 75%, upwards of 81% of the primary vote in 2020.
00:08:03.000 And today, he gets less than 50% of the vote.
00:08:07.000 That's the story.
00:08:10.000 Okay, so that's what actually happened in reality land.
00:08:12.000 But that's not the story that you're hearing online today.
00:08:14.000 You're hearing a very different story if you live in the online universe.
00:08:17.000 That is because Thomas Massey decided in a bright red, pro Trump northern Kentucky district.
00:08:23.000 Of 770,000 people, less than five of whom are Jewish, they are less than 0.1% of the population, Jews, in Kentucky, four, to run on a platform of Israel is evil and manipulates our elections, and Cenk Uyghur and online Nazis are pro America heroes.
00:08:39.000 That is what he decided to do.
00:08:41.000 I will explain in a second why he was doing that.
00:08:43.000 There are several theories, but that is what he decided to do.
00:08:46.000 So he was receiving support from the young Turks, Cenk Uyghur and Anna Kasparian.
00:08:49.000 Here is Anna Kasparian, who's become psychotically anti Israel, going off.
00:08:54.000 And talking about how everybody needs to support Thomas Massey.
00:08:57.000 Again, getting Anna Kasparian's endorsement in the Kentucky 4th is a bold strategy, Cotton.
00:09:07.000 Understand that Thomas Massey, as a libertarian, is against funding a foreign country's wars.
00:09:14.000 In fact, I would like for all of our members of Congress to be against funding a foreign country's wars, but unfortunately, we don't live in a country that has leaders like that.
00:09:22.000 And Ed Galrine, Massey's opponent, not only Wants the United States to pay for Israel's wars to help it build its empire in the Middle East.
00:09:33.000 He would like Americans to be forced, literally forced, into fighting Israel's wars.
00:09:39.000 Now, older conservatives don't have to worry about a draft, right?
00:09:43.000 Younger conservatives, though, they're definitely worried about a draft.
00:09:48.000 So, again, this was Massey's strategy.
00:09:49.000 I mean, the day before the election, he had a pizza party with alt right podcasters, influencers, and some Nazis.
00:09:57.000 And here's what that looked like.
00:09:59.000 Here's the craziest part about this.
00:10:02.000 We just rolled 30 deep to Thomas Massey's house.
00:10:04.000 Not just 30 deep, but he let Ryan Matta.
00:10:06.000 Show me one other politician in Washington, D.C. that's going to let Ryan Matta get even talking distance.
00:10:10.000 Oh, gosh, I'm a politician, and I'll show you the man that you should put in office.
00:10:15.000 Okay, want to know why no politician would be within shouting distance of Ryan Matta?
00:10:19.000 Because this is who Ryan Matta is.
00:10:23.000 So we got some breaking news coming in from RT.
00:10:25.000 Unfortunately, the video of the Marines getting captured turned out to be a total dud.
00:10:29.000 That would have been.
00:10:30.000 Awesome, wouldn't it?
00:10:31.000 Trump tries to take Kirk Island.
00:10:33.000 The Marines get captured.
00:10:34.000 Nobody gets killed.
00:10:35.000 Iran has them hostage.
00:10:36.000 And basically, what the soldier said in that video was so good.
00:10:40.000 It was basically like Trump set us up, complete failure.
00:10:42.000 We were not prepared.
00:10:43.000 I was like, wow, this is insane how good this is.
00:10:45.000 It's going to be such a great video.
00:10:45.000 This is going to end the war.
00:10:47.000 Turned out to be a fake.
00:10:48.000 Anyways, check out this.
00:10:50.000 Large number of U.S. Marines killed in a suicide drone plus missile mass strike by Iran.
00:10:55.000 Complete elimination of American soldiers from their land.
00:11:00.000 So, again, Ryan Matta.
00:11:01.000 An actual supporter of American soldiers getting captured andor killed while wearing a sweatshirt that says American Reich.
00:11:07.000 And if you think that somehow Massey didn't know who Ryan Matt was, he literally took a photo with him wearing that exact same sweatshirt and hugging him.
00:11:14.000 Now, that's a bold move, and it's a weird move in Kentucky's fourth.
00:11:17.000 So here is the question What the hell was Thomas Massey doing?
00:11:21.000 What was he thinking?
00:11:22.000 All right, coming up, we'll get into what Thomas Massey was thinking, you know, in a deep red district in northern Kentucky, making the whole race about Israel and American Jews and all the rest.
00:11:32.000 First, One of the stranger financial habits people have is spending hours comparison shopping for a plane ticket that saves them $12, but then continue paying $80 or $90 a month for wireless service without any question.
00:11:42.000 At a certain point, you have to ask why, especially now that companies like PureTalk exist.
00:11:46.000 PureTalk, which is veteran led and backed by 100% US based customer service, now offers unlimited high speed data for just $34.99 a month.
00:11:53.000 That's a pretty major shift because unlimited high speed data at PureTalk used to start around $55 a month, but PureTalk has continued pushing to offer more value at lower prices.
00:12:01.000 So if you looked at PureTalk before and you didn't switch, Probably worth taking another look right now.
00:12:05.000 And one thing people always ask is whether the service actually holds up compared to those massively overpriced major carriers.
00:12:10.000 The answer is give it a try yourself.
00:12:13.000 Pure Talk will let you test the service for 30 days, no contract, no cancellation fees.
00:12:17.000 So there's really very little downside to seeing whether it works out for you.
00:12:21.000 Again, US based customer service is an underrated thing.
00:12:24.000 A lot of people are getting somebody based in India or somewhere else.
00:12:28.000 It's very hard to get your problem solved.
00:12:29.000 That doesn't happen in Pure Talk.
00:12:30.000 The switch to Pure Talk can happen in as little as 10 minutes.
00:12:33.000 If you ever need help, Pure Talk's US based customer service team is standing by.
00:12:36.000 Go to puretalk.comslash Shapiro.
00:12:38.000 Claim unlimited high speed data for just $34.99.
00:12:40.000 Again, that's puretalk.comslash Shapiro to switch to my wireless company, America's wireless company, Pure Talk.
00:12:47.000 What the hell was Thomas Massey doing?
00:12:48.000 What was he thinking?
00:12:50.000 Why in the world, in a district that has fewer than 500 Jews, would you decide?
00:12:55.000 That it was really, really important to run on the Zionist organized government, the Jews control everything platform, doing podcasts with Cenk Uyghur, hanging out with people who wear American Reich sweatshirts.
00:13:10.000 Why would you do that?
00:13:12.000 It's really stupid, just on a political level.
00:13:13.000 It's really dumb.
00:13:14.000 So there are three potential reasons.
00:13:17.000 Reason number one he thought that the only way to fight back against Trump was by running on a sort of bank shot electoral strategy based on conspiracy.
00:13:25.000 So, again, this is a common thing for members of the woke right.
00:13:28.000 President Trump has attacked a lot of people.
00:13:30.000 And people like Massey, he's trying to cling to Trump, right?
00:13:33.000 He wants to hump his leg.
00:13:34.000 But at the same time, he also wants to ensure that people in his district don't think that he is anti Trump.
00:13:42.000 So Trump is hitting him.
00:13:44.000 Theoretically, he should fight back directly against President Trump, but he doesn't want to do that.
00:13:47.000 He doesn't want to fight back directly against Trump.
00:13:49.000 So he adopts the Tucker Carlson strategy Trump doesn't oppose me.
00:13:53.000 It's puppet Trump being controlled by the puppeteer Jews who's coming after me.
00:14:00.000 So basically, the idea is that it wasn't Trump who was opposing Massey.
00:14:04.000 Massey instead says it's not Trump.
00:14:06.000 It's Miriam Adelson.
00:14:07.000 It's AIPAC.
00:14:09.000 It's the Israelis.
00:14:10.000 It's the Jews.
00:14:12.000 And so the idea is that if you're in his district, he still loves Trump, even though apparently Trump is somehow a marionette of the Jews.
00:14:19.000 But he loves Trump.
00:14:21.000 And therefore, it really isn't about Trump.
00:14:23.000 It's about how Trump has been captured.
00:14:25.000 You see this routine again.
00:14:27.000 Tucker Carlson does this all the time and points to Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens for being perfectly open.
00:14:33.000 In their perspective on life and just going direct up against Trump.
00:14:36.000 Massey wasn't going to do that.
00:14:37.000 And so it could have been just a bank shot.
00:14:38.000 Didn't work, obviously.
00:14:39.000 Okay, theory number two.
00:14:42.000 The minute that Trump came out and went after Massey, Massey knew he was in trouble.
00:14:46.000 And so he figured, you know what?
00:14:48.000 I'm going to go.
00:14:49.000 I want to be a podcaster.
00:14:51.000 I want to be like Joe Kent or Tucker Carlson.
00:14:53.000 I want the strange new respect.
00:14:56.000 I want the podcast woke right.
00:14:58.000 And I also want the strange new respect of the left.
00:15:02.000 And so I'm going to go all the way.
00:15:03.000 I'm going to throw out conspiracy theories.
00:15:06.000 I'm going to go full scale conspiratorial anti Israel.
00:15:10.000 And so that was Massey's plan, he knew he was toast anyway, and he may as well make some money on the other side.
00:15:14.000 And the best way to make money on the other side is to do that sort of thing, obviously.
00:15:18.000 Now, there's some pretty good evidence for this.
00:15:20.000 If you look at Massey's parting shot here, as Massey lost, he decides that he's going to call President Trump the emperor of a Roman empire.
00:15:27.000 And then he's going to slide in some not particularly subtle anti Semitism.
00:15:31.000 So here is Massey.
00:15:33.000 I got to watch Fox also for the first time in 18 months.
00:15:39.000 The president is talking about, by the way, while gas is almost $5 and diesel is almost $6, they're talking about this big ballroom they're going to build, and it looks like the Roman Empire, architecture from the Roman Empire.
00:15:39.000 And there was.
00:15:55.000 I see a few analogies there.
00:15:59.000 Okay, and then he went to this.
00:16:01.000 This is really ugly stuff here from Thomas Massey, but unsurprising at this point from the Pinecone Congressman.
00:16:09.000 I would have come out sooner, but I had to.
00:16:11.000 Call my opponent and concede.
00:16:13.000 And it took a while to find Ed Galrine in Tel Aviv.
00:16:20.000 It took him a while to find him.
00:16:21.000 Ed Gallerine, by the way, not Jewish, former Navy SEAL.
00:16:25.000 But again, the story, according to Massey, is that he is what, a crypto Jew or paid for by the Jews or all the rest of it.
00:16:32.000 And again, he's obviously trying to transform himself into a hero of Podcastistan.
00:16:36.000 So he says, We may have lost, but actually, secretly, we won.
00:16:40.000 We may have lost, but the future belongs to us.
00:16:43.000 Here's Thomas Massey in Cabaret.
00:16:47.000 Why am I hopeful right now?
00:16:49.000 Because if you looked at the crosstab in the polling, and I'm sure if we had exit polling, it would show the same thing.
00:16:56.000 We have the younger demographic.
00:16:58.000 You are patriots, and you will inherit this country, and you will make it better.
00:17:04.000 And I am hopeful because of that.
00:17:06.000 Thank you.
00:17:09.000 The future belongs.
00:17:10.000 And again, he's now doing this whole bipartisanship thing.
00:17:13.000 He says he's a trans partisan.
00:17:15.000 Okay, because he doesn't like either party.
00:17:18.000 So now he's going to lead the horseshoe theory right.
00:17:22.000 The woke left and the horseshoe theory, they all come to woke right, woke left.
00:17:25.000 They will come together under the auspices of a Thomas Massey, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Joe Kent, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Rihanna Joy Gray party.
00:17:36.000 I'm not even sure that I'm bipartisan.
00:17:38.000 Bi means you like both.
00:17:41.000 I might be trans partisan because I can't identify with either some days.
00:17:51.000 Hey, so along with this new podcast possibility for.
00:17:55.000 Thomas Massey, who again, very weird strategy to go in this direction.
00:17:59.000 Okay, but one possible part of the theory is that he also gets strange new respect from the left.
00:18:06.000 So again, the left is strangely respectful of Thomas Massey.
00:18:09.000 The New York Times came out in support of Thomas Massey.
00:18:14.000 Hassan Piker came out in support of Thomas Massey.
00:18:17.000 Hassan Piker, the insane Mansion Marxist, Cartier Communist, America hater extraordinaire put out a tweet, quote, Massey's defeat proves the Republican Party is a pro Epstein, pro Israel cult led by their cult leader, Epstein affiliate, servant of Israel, Donald Trump.
00:18:37.000 Nuts stuff.
00:18:38.000 But again, this is how you get the strange new respect of Hassan Piker.
00:18:41.000 Nick Fuentes, of course, on the same exact side.
00:18:44.000 Fuentes says Israel used their control over Trump.
00:18:46.000 And here he is doing the routine.
00:18:48.000 And their Jew money, their Jewish money, to destroy Massey because he went against their agenda.
00:18:52.000 There's no denying that Trump's GOP is nothing more than a front for Israel and it has to be destroyed for America first to prevail.
00:18:57.000 So remember.
00:18:59.000 Nick Fuentes holding hands with Hassan Piker, which is, I'm sure, something Nick Fuentes has often hoped to do.
00:19:05.000 Kim Iverson, again, is a Tucker Carlson fellow traveler, put out her own tweet threatening Jews.
00:19:10.000 Quote, the defeat of Thomas Massey is the worst thing to happen to Jews in America.
00:19:13.000 Every single Jew will be subject to suspicion of dual loyalty.
00:19:16.000 I'm just telling you how it is.
00:19:18.000 How about every Christian who voted against him, since pretty much every who voted in that election was Christian?
00:19:23.000 How about that?
00:19:25.000 They also dual loyalty?
00:19:26.000 Like, what's the story here, Kim?
00:19:27.000 The 55,000 people who voted against Thomas Massey in a completely non Jewish district.
00:19:33.000 What are they?
00:19:33.000 Just tools of the Jews?
00:19:34.000 How does this work?
00:19:36.000 And Iverson says, You might not like this post, but someone needs to say it.
00:19:41.000 A deep hatred for Israel and a deep suspicion of Jews is solidifying in our younger generations, not just in the US, but worldwide.
00:19:46.000 Well, certainly she hopes so.
00:19:47.000 They thought Nick Fuentes was bad.
00:19:49.000 They have no idea what they just created within our youth.
00:19:51.000 I can now see a future where Jewish Americans are eradicated from government and expelled to Israel.
00:19:57.000 And this is the hope.
00:19:58.000 So you'll get the strange new respect from the left, you'll get the woke right behind you, and that's pretty lucrative.
00:20:03.000 Thomas Massey will make himself an excellent living on the other side of all this.
00:20:06.000 By the way, as far as the strange new respect of the left, I promise you, MS Now will be kissing Thomas Massey's ass.
00:20:14.000 New York Times, they will love him.
00:20:16.000 Of course, of course.
00:20:17.000 He'll be on Ezra Klein, the whole deal.
00:20:20.000 I should point out here that for those who think that Thomas Massey will only get the strange new respect from the left because he is anti Trump, that is wrong.
00:20:28.000 He's not going to get strange new respect because he was anti Trump.
00:20:31.000 He's getting strange new respect because he's trafficking with all of the Nazi woke right types.
00:20:37.000 That is why.
00:20:38.000 It is because of his anti Israel stuff.
00:20:40.000 That is why he will get the strange new respect.
00:20:42.000 Because there's a senator named Bill Cassidy from Louisiana who just got skunked by President Trump in a primary in Louisiana.
00:20:42.000 How do I know that?
00:20:49.000 Bill Cassidy, you want to say somebody who's anti Trump?
00:20:51.000 That dude voted for Trump's impeachment in 2021, which is something Thomas Massey never did.
00:20:56.000 And he's getting zero strange new respect.
00:20:58.000 Zero.
00:20:59.000 Bill Cassidy will get zero bookings on Pod Save America.
00:21:02.000 He'll receive zero strange new respect comments on MS Now.
00:21:07.000 But Joe Kent, Marjorie Taylor Greene, now Thomas Massey, they'll get all the strange new respect.
00:21:12.000 All right, coming up, we'll get to the third theory of what Thomas Massey was doing.
00:21:15.000 Maybe he just had brain worms.
00:21:17.000 And also, we'll get to Ken Paxton being endorsed.
00:21:19.000 By President Trump over John Cornyn.
00:21:21.000 First, when you're younger, you can survive on four hours of sleep caffeine and a frozen pizza, and somehow you're still mostly fine.
00:21:27.000 But at a certain point, that stops working.
00:21:29.000 Honestly, this time of year makes sleep even harder for a lot of people.
00:21:32.000 Summer travel starts, bedtimes drift later, everybody's routine becomes slightly chaotic because the school breaks.
00:21:37.000 Well, that's why the quality of your sleep setup starts mattering a lot more than people think.
00:21:40.000 That's why you need Helix.
00:21:42.000 Helix makes mattresses tailored to different sleep styles and preferences because not everybody sleeps the same way.
00:21:46.000 Some people sleep hot, some need extra support, some toss and turn constantly, some wake up every time another person moves.
00:21:52.000 Like many of those are me.
00:21:54.000 Helix solves those problems for me and for my wife because we have a mattress made just for us.
00:21:58.000 Honestly, one of the underrated things about a really good mattress is you stop thinking about all of that.
00:22:02.000 You're just sleeping.
00:22:03.000 Helix also has more than 20 different mattress models, so people can actually find something tailored to how they sleep instead of just buying that generic mattress and hoping for the best.
00:22:10.000 According to Helix, a study they ran found 82% of participants saw an increase in deep sleep after switching to that Helix mattress.
00:22:16.000 The mattress ships directly to your door.
00:22:18.000 There's a 120 night sleep trial.
00:22:20.000 It comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
00:22:21.000 Head on over to helixleep.comslash Ben.
00:22:30.000 Okay, finally, theory number three.
00:22:35.000 So theory number one was he thought he would do a bank shot.
00:22:37.000 He wasn't going to attack Trump.
00:22:39.000 So he was just going to say that Trump was the puppet of the evil, nefarious dudes.
00:22:44.000 Theory number two was that Massey knew that he'd lost already.
00:22:47.000 And so he may as well just program directly into the algorithm and get some clicks and giggles.
00:22:52.000 And theory number three is that Massey has brainworms.
00:22:55.000 And he thought that he would win because of X. Because if you actually follow these things on X, you thought the entire election was about Israel.
00:23:03.000 But as I pointed out up top, if you were a resident of his congressional district, every ad you saw on TV had nothing to do with Israel.
00:23:11.000 Attacking Israel was just Massey's defense mechanism for failing as a congressperson.
00:23:16.000 As per our usual arrangement, attacks will be levied at particular people over things that have nothing to do with Israel and trying to get a bunch of clicks and trying to.
00:23:27.000 Rally the support of some of the worst people on the internet, you just start talking about Israel.
00:23:30.000 That is the new tactic.
00:23:31.000 So Massey may have thought he was going to win because he was watching X. That's the only way you explain why he is hanging out with Cenk Uyghur the day before an election in a district that has zero Cenk Uyghur supporters.
00:23:43.000 But it turns out that reality still exists.
00:23:45.000 Online is not real, as we have been saying.
00:23:49.000 And it turns out that people in Kentucky did not care about the Israel issue.
00:23:54.000 It's not that everybody in Kentucky's fourth district is wildly pro Israel or tools of the Jews or anything.
00:24:00.000 It's the people in Kentucky's 4th District don't give a crap about that issue.
00:24:03.000 That is how Thomas Massey ended up as a seven term congressperson in that particular race.
00:24:09.000 It turns out Kentucky voters don't give a crap about the Epstein conspiracy theories or your nutty Tucker Carlson junk about how Israel is the worst country on the planet.
00:24:17.000 And it turns out neither do most people.
00:24:19.000 You can ask James Fishbeck, who's going to soon win about seven votes in Florida, or Casey Putsch, whose voting base looks like one of those Western ghost towns with the tumbleweeds, or Marjorie Taylor Greene, who took it harder in her Georgia election than she did from her personal trainer.
00:24:35.000 So let's just be real reality still exists.
00:24:39.000 And by the way, in the Republican Party, that reality is that if Trump endorses your opponent, you got some problems.
00:24:43.000 This is how JD Vance ended up as vice president of the United States.
00:24:47.000 He was losing his Ohio primary in the Senate.
00:24:49.000 Trump intervened.
00:24:50.000 He won his primary and then he won the general because it was a red state.
00:24:53.000 And now he's vice president.
00:24:54.000 Okay, speaking of which, the other big Republican political news from yesterday is that the president of the United States endorsed Ken Paxton, the attorney general of Texas, over John Cornyn, the sitting senator in Texas.
00:25:06.000 Now, the reality is that Paxton was likely to beat Cornyn anyway.
00:25:10.000 Trump had sat out the race for a very long time.
00:25:13.000 And again, Paxton in the Kalshi odds, and again, Kalshi is one of our sponsors.
00:25:18.000 But according to Kalshi, before Trump's endorsement, Paxton was already 62% likely to win that Texas Senate nomination.
00:25:25.000 And then the minute that Trump endorsed Paxton, his chances jumped to 93%.
00:25:31.000 And not a gigantic shock there.
00:25:33.000 Now, listen, Paxton is a less attractive general election candidate than Cornyn would have been.
00:25:38.000 Cornyn has won several terms in Texas.
00:25:40.000 He has some crossover appeal, Paxton has none, but it's a red state.
00:25:43.000 He's very likely to win.
00:25:45.000 That said, those same CalChie odds show that 53% of people are betting on the GOP.
00:25:51.000 47% of people are backing James Tallarico, the Democrat.
00:25:55.000 Now, it may turn out that this is actually kind of a boon for Republicans in the sense that Democrats are likely to sink an enormous amount of money into Texas.
00:26:03.000 They are now going to be suckered into the Beto play, thinking they might win.
00:26:07.000 Bottom line is Trump endorsed Ken Paxton, and that's basically all she wrote.
00:26:10.000 That's the end of that Senate primary, which is slated to take place next week.
00:26:14.000 Quote The highly respected Attorney General of Texas, Ken Paxton, An America First patriot and someone who has always been extremely loyal to me and our amazing MAGA movement is running for the U.S. Senate to represent a place I love and won big three times with 6.4 million votes in 2024, the most votes in the history of the state by far.
00:26:31.000 And then he talks about how he is a big supporter of Ken Paxton and he's going to help him in the Senate and all the rest.
00:26:38.000 Now, Paxton, again, is sort of running Gal Ryan's campaign here.
00:26:42.000 He says that Cornyn was dishonest with voters about his support for President Trump.
00:26:46.000 Here is Paxton, again, using Trump as the litmus test.
00:26:51.000 He has not been a friend of the president.
00:26:53.000 In 2016, he said he was an albatross around our neck.
00:26:55.000 And then in 2024, he said that his time had passed and he insinuated that he was guilty of crimes.
00:27:00.000 This guy has been a friend of Donald Trump ever since I got into the race a year ago, but has not been a friend to him prior to that.
00:27:06.000 And as soon as this race is over, he will not be a friend to Donald Trump.
00:27:09.000 That is not his history.
00:27:10.000 That is not his record.
00:27:12.000 And he's been dishonest with the voters of Texas.
00:27:16.000 Now, again, I think that the reality is that Cornyn has had basically a checkered history with President Trump, true for a lot of members of the Senate.
00:27:23.000 But bottom line is that, you know, once Trump endorsed, I think that Trump just waited this one out, right?
00:27:29.000 He waited a very, very long time to endorse Paxton.
00:27:31.000 It's not like he endorsed him right out the gate.
00:27:33.000 He wanted to see that Paxton could perform in the primary before getting behind him, something the president frequently does, as opposed to Galrin, where Trump called the shot.
00:27:42.000 I mean, when it came to Massey and Galrin, Trump was the first guy up to say Massey needs to be primary.
00:27:47.000 There was not going to be a serious primary challenge to Massey, and then Trump launched it.
00:27:50.000 Not the same thing here.
00:27:51.000 JD Vance, vice president, slammed John Cornyn yesterday.
00:27:56.000 I think the message that people should take from this is fundamentally you have got to serve the people who sent you.
00:28:03.000 And if you don't do that, you're going to find yourself out of step with voters or out of step with the president of the United States.
00:28:08.000 And that's not a good place to be politically.
00:28:11.000 Now, I have a lot of friends in Texas, by the way, who are not fans of John Cornyn.
00:28:14.000 They think that Cornyn was too mushy with regard to things like gun control.
00:28:18.000 I think there's a fair case to be made.
00:28:19.000 The Cornyn caucused with Democrats too often.
00:28:22.000 Fair.
00:28:23.000 Cornyn put out his own tweet saying he trusts the Republican voters of Texas.
00:28:27.000 And then he canceled his campaign event and headed back to D.C. to vote on ICE.
00:28:32.000 Now, again, it's true that Cornyn voted with Trump 99% of the time.
00:28:36.000 So, Ken Paxton is going after Tallarico.
00:28:41.000 That will be the faceoff in Texas.
00:28:42.000 Here is Paxton going after James Tallarico, who is the sort of Pete Buttigieg 2.0.
00:28:49.000 Tallarico is the slightly more gay Pete Buttigieg.
00:28:53.000 Fair, not fair, not fair.
00:28:54.000 I don't know.
00:28:55.000 Anyway, here's Paxton.
00:28:57.000 How many genders do you suggest you might offer there are during the campaign?
00:29:00.000 It's pretty clear to me, too.
00:29:01.000 Scientific truth is true.
00:29:03.000 Is God non binary?
00:29:05.000 No.
00:29:06.000 No.
00:29:07.000 Is.
00:29:09.000 Is the front, is our border best described as the front porch of America?
00:29:13.000 No, just the opposite.
00:29:14.000 We should protect the borders.
00:29:17.000 And again, the key here is that if President Trump endorses you in a GOP primary, you're very likely to win.
00:29:22.000 This just happened with Bill Cassidy.
00:29:23.000 It's happening with Ken Paxton.
00:29:24.000 It's happening with Ed Gallerine.
00:29:26.000 And Andy Barr just secured the GOP Senate primary in Mitch McConnell's seat after Trump endorsed him.
00:29:32.000 So Trump is still the kingmaker inside the Republican Party.
00:29:34.000 Now, one thing that's really fascinating that's been happening here is you may have noticed that many of the people who are the most anti Semitic in the Republican Party.
00:29:42.000 The people who traffic in anti Israel conspiracy theories that shade over into anti Semitism pretty clearly, those people are being clocked by President Trump.
00:29:50.000 Not because this is like a top issue for Trump, but because those same conspiracy theorists, I do not think it's coincidence.
00:29:56.000 If you're a conspiracy theorist about Trump or Epstein or in general about the world, if you traffic in grievance politics, you're likely to end up in that category.
00:30:04.000 And then Trump is likely to clock you.
00:30:06.000 So as Thomas Massey is being ushered out of the GOP, same as Marjorie Taylor Greene, same as Joe Kent, and all the rest of this, Democrats are embracing every anti Semitic, anti Israel nut job they can find.
00:30:17.000 Literally all of them.
00:30:19.000 So, Chris Rabb secured a Pennsylvania House primary in Philadelphia yesterday after campaigning with Hassan Piker, again, Thomas Massey endorser.
00:30:29.000 Well, he's a Democratic Socialist of America candidate who said the Bondi Beach massacre in Australia was a false flag by quote unquote Zionists.
00:30:29.000 Chris Rabb, who is he?
00:30:37.000 We are finding out new details, by the way, about the other anti Semitic candidate, Graham Platner, over in Maine.
00:30:43.000 And again, there are a bunch.
00:30:43.000 There's also the anti Semitic candidate the Democrats are running in Michigan.
00:30:48.000 Abdul Al Sayed, who's likely to be their Senate nominee.
00:30:51.000 In Maine, they have the dude who had to get rid of his SS tattoo.
00:30:55.000 Well, now there are more details on Graham Plattner.
00:30:57.000 Where did they dig up this guy?
00:30:59.000 I mean, truly, where did they dig this schmuck up?
00:31:01.000 It's incredible.
00:31:03.000 So it now turns out that he has a long history of Reddit posts that are unpleasant.
00:31:09.000 So he used to have a username on Reddit, P Hustle.
00:31:15.000 And he talked on Reddit about masturbating in portable toilets.
00:31:21.000 Which, oh, yeah.
00:31:23.000 He said, I still have to bleep every time I sit in a porta potty.
00:31:27.000 That blue water smell conditioned me.
00:31:30.000 And also, he, in 2021, described a crude drawing of a penis inside a portable toilet while deployed overseas.
00:31:39.000 And then he said, Don't worry, it's just me bleep posting.
00:31:42.000 It's obviously not true.
00:31:44.000 Yeah, man.
00:31:46.000 He also said, by the way, on his Reddit between 2009 and 2021, that he got older and became a communist.
00:31:54.000 And he said he was supporting Bernie because I feel sacrifices must be made to build a better society.
00:32:00.000 So he's a delight.
00:32:03.000 And he's not the only one.
00:32:05.000 It turns out that a woman who is very likely to win her House Democratic primary in Texas, a woman named Maureen Galindo, she has now announced that she would like to set up internment camps for quote unquote American Zionists, which means internment camps for Jews.
00:32:19.000 That's what she means.
00:32:21.000 Her latest set of inflammatory remarks comes as the Democratic hopeful for Texas's newly redrawn 35th congressional district continues to draw national attention.
00:32:31.000 She accused her runoff opponent, former Bexar County public information officer Johnny Garcia, of participating in a human trafficking conspiracy orchestrated by billionaire Zionists.
00:32:42.000 Oh my gosh.
00:32:43.000 Oh my gosh.
00:32:44.000 And then she pledged to put her opponent on trial for treason.
00:32:48.000 Her posts are crazy.
00:32:51.000 She's a crazy person.
00:32:53.000 And she just won her primary yesterday.
00:32:56.000 So things are going really, really well for the Democrats.
00:32:58.000 They're getting more and more radical.
00:33:00.000 They are really turning it up all the way up to 11.
00:33:02.000 That spinal tap 11 needs to move to a spinal tap 12.
00:33:05.000 For the craziness of the Democrats.
00:33:07.000 And it's not just, you know, a few of the outlying Democrats.
00:33:10.000 It has seeped into the brains of the Democrats that they must be radical.
00:33:15.000 In one second, we'll get to more from these insane Democrats.
00:33:17.000 Plus, the manifesto of the shooters at the Islamic Center in San Diego shows that brainworms have some pretty real consequences, particularly for those with pre existing mental illness.
00:33:26.000 First, Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer shopping season.
00:33:30.000 Everybody is looking for deals right now patio furniture, grills, summer clothes, travel gear, workout equipment, stuff for the house.
00:33:36.000 There's one thing that determines whether people actually finish buying something online.
00:33:39.000 Checkout, because nothing can kill momentum faster than a complicated checkout process.
00:33:43.000 And then you see it that magical purple shop pay button.
00:33:47.000 One click and done.
00:33:48.000 That smooth checkout experience is powered by Shopify.

00:34:37.000 Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry says that the goal of remember those ice protests, the ones that held up ice for months?
00:34:46.000 And led to the deaths of a couple of American citizens after they decided to obstruct ICE in their pursuit of their jobs.
00:34:53.000 Well, now he says the goal was to influence national policy, Mayor Jacob Fry, also famous for kneeling before the casket of George Floyd.
00:35:02.000 ICE is not just the federal police force that he's developed, it is his.
00:35:08.000 And there's a historical analog here, which is the SS.
00:35:13.000 The SS was unaccountable to the parliament, they answered only to Hitler.
00:35:18.000 ICE, also, once they get the funding and have these massive increases to the extent that it's larger than the FBI, they largely don't need approvals from the congressional body.
00:35:31.000 It is very much Donald Trump's force.
00:35:36.000 It's like Hitler's stormtroopers.
00:35:38.000 This is your Democratic Party.
00:35:39.000 Mom Dhani, Zor Mom Dhani, our third worldest mayor of New York.
00:35:42.000 He says no one should fear detention for following the law.
00:35:45.000 He's tweeting out again, he's all about ICE.
00:35:47.000 A federal judge.
00:35:48.000 In Manhattan, stops ICE from arresting immigrants, illegal immigrants, in the immigration courthouses.
00:35:54.000 Which, um, that's kind of wild.
00:35:56.000 They're illegal immigrants.
00:35:57.000 He says this ruling is a victory for New York's immigrant communities and the basic principle no one should fear detention for seeking justice or following the law.
00:36:05.000 Well, what if you are not following the law, which is why you are here illegally?
00:36:10.000 Representative Pramila Jayapal, head of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, she says ICE and CBP are unconstitutional.
00:36:17.000 She was saying this at a forum sponsored by the Muslim Public Affairs Council.
00:36:24.000 And ICE and CBP have turned into completely unconstitutional.
00:36:30.000 Unconstitutional agencies that have terrorized entire communities, killed U.S. citizens in our streets, and are jailing over 70,000 people every single night in immigrant incarceration facilities, regardless of immigration status, U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, people with valid visas, every single night, 70,000 people.
00:36:54.000 Those mass detention policies have been ruled illegal by over 420 judges across the country, including.
00:37:01.000 A majority of judges who were appointed by Donald Trump.
00:37:05.000 So this is not a partisan issue.
00:37:09.000 Unless you think that it's just the crazies in the Democratic Party.
00:37:11.000 Remember Abigail Spanberger?
00:37:12.000 She's the governor of Virginia.
00:37:14.000 She's the one who got forced into that terrible redistricting map that then got rejected.
00:37:18.000 She campaigned as moderate, and she was supposed to be a moderate Democrat.
00:37:21.000 Well, now she's announcing an executive order on how Virginia state employees can basically obstruct federal agents or fail to coordinate with federal agents on immigration.
00:37:33.000 Tomorrow, I'll be issuing an executive order.
00:37:36.000 So, surprise, sorry to my comms team on this one.
00:37:39.000 Let it out, Governor, let it out.
00:37:45.000 Ensuring that we are putting out from the state level some guidance across public spaces, including polling places, of how Virginia state employees or people who are working in support of Virginia's state run elections can react.
00:38:03.000 To, in this particular case, federal agents who might be appearing at a location and where the worry is that they're principally there to intimidate or scare people.
00:38:15.000 Now, again, the goal for Democrats in the end, if they take back power, is to run the table on a bunch of far left policy.
00:38:22.000 Hakeem Jeffries, who may be Speaker of the House after November, depending on how that election goes, which is a scary prospect, he says the goal is to break Republican spirit.
00:38:33.000 I guess part of how we as House Democrats view this moment.
00:38:36.000 Either MAGA extremists are going to break the country or we're going to break them.
00:38:41.000 And our goal is to break them.
00:38:44.000 We will defeat them.
00:38:46.000 We have to beat them electorally and then we have to break their spirit because of the extremism that's being unleashed on the American people.
00:38:53.000 That's completely and totally unacceptable.
00:38:57.000 The Republicans are extreme for, you know, wanting to police the border or for wanting to stop the Iranian nuclear program.
00:39:04.000 That's super duper extreme.
00:39:06.000 Meanwhile, the Democrats are promoting zero border.
00:39:09.000 Get rid of ICE.
00:39:10.000 Raise tax on everybody.
00:39:12.000 Zormam Dhani is legitimate.
00:39:13.000 Third worldism.
00:39:15.000 Folks, if you vote for Democrats, then that is what is coming next.
00:39:18.000 Now, what we are watching, and it is a dangerous thing, we're watching this happen on both sides of the aisle, is the brain rot that sets in when everybody goes to online.
00:39:26.000 It happened to Thomas Massey.
00:39:27.000 It's happened to many of his supporters.
00:39:29.000 It's happened on the left.
00:39:30.000 It's happening on the right.
00:39:31.000 That brain rot has consequences.
00:39:33.000 Now, the kind of mainstream consequences of the brain rot, the mainstream consequences of the brain rot, are bad candidates.
00:39:40.000 Candidates who Are focused in on issues that Americans don't care about, and very frequently they lose.
00:39:46.000 But brain rot has, shall we say, more vulnerable targets.
00:39:52.000 If people, young people, spend too much time online, the brain rot has serious, damaging impact.
00:39:57.000 That's why you should keep your kids off social media, folks.
00:39:59.000 Or if you're a young person, restrict your usage, because it is easy to get caught up in a bunch of absolute nonsense and dangerous nonsense.
00:40:08.000 We now have the manifesto of the mosque shooters from the other day, the Islamic Center of San Diego.
00:40:14.000 Three people were shot, and then the two shooters shot themselves.
00:40:18.000 And the manifesto is an ode to all of the brain rot politics that you see from the woke right.
00:40:25.000 And woke left combined from that grievance party, new left.
00:40:31.000 It is, if you just read this without knowing who exactly was promoting it, it could be on many of the woke right shows.
00:40:39.000 It would be on Breonna Joy Gray or Tucker Carlson, many of the points that are in these sorts of things.
00:40:44.000 And again, that doesn't mean that they are to blame for the violence, they're to blame for raising the temperature and for issuing brain rot that obviously has impact on people who have mental vulnerabilities.
00:40:54.000 That part is true.
00:40:55.000 Because when you raise the temperature, you bear responsibility for that.
00:40:58.000 I have a rule.
00:40:59.000 Unless you are calling for actual violence against people, you are not responsible for the violence.
00:41:03.000 But you certainly are responsible for creating permission structures for violence.
00:41:06.000 Okay, so we now have the manifesto.
00:41:10.000 It's a 75 page manifesto.
00:41:12.000 And it's fascinating only in that it is a reflection.
00:41:15.000 If you spend time on the sewage tank that is social media, particularly Reddit or X or 4chan or any of that, it's basically a reflection of all of that stuff.
00:41:24.000 So the manifesto.
00:41:27.000 Admits, yes, I had some mental issues, which I'm sure will come out eventually, so I won't waste any time talking about it here.
00:41:34.000 I'm certainly not left wing, nor am I right wing, especially not with MAGL or Trump.
00:41:38.000 Politically, I'd call myself a third positionist, specifically aligning most with nationalist socialism and eco fascism through any third positionism, especially those that prioritize its people, nationalism, racial homogeneity, nature, traditionalist ideals, etc.
00:41:54.000 And then he quotes William Luther Pierce, who is the author of a book called The Turner Diaries.
00:42:00.000 Which was a sort of white supremacist novel manifesto.
00:42:05.000 Whether you swung to the right or whether you swung to the left, we'll simply swing you by the neck.
00:42:08.000 Quote The modern left is retarded and the modern right is foolish.
00:42:11.000 The left advocates for progression at all costs, not realizing how damaging that truly is.
00:42:15.000 And the right tries to conserve traditional values, yet they support technological, economic, and cultural growth.
00:42:22.000 And here's some more of what the manifesto says.
00:42:24.000 And again, if this sounds like it echoes a lot of the messages you hear on very popular shows online, that's because it does.
00:42:31.000 Quote.
00:42:32.000 The left says we need to bring in as many immigrants as possible, not realizing or caring that all that does is make our society a third world bleephole while replacing white people.
00:42:40.000 The right believes immigration is okay as long as it's legal.
00:42:42.000 This, in practice, merely causes the decay and replacement to come slower instead of stopping it.
00:42:48.000 I would much rather have a worse economy run only by white people than a better one run by N words.
00:42:53.000 Again, this is the manifesto.
00:42:55.000 When it comes to conservatives trying to conserve traditional values, they fail miserably.
00:42:59.000 They don't conserve bleep, all they do is slow down the impending doom and call it democracy and freedom.
00:43:05.000 I believe conservatism is the ideology of the coward.
00:43:09.000 The left wing, as stupid as they are, aren't cowards.
00:43:12.000 They like to parade around the streets during their special days and months.
00:43:15.000 Half of them will be naked, the other half is in fetish gear.
00:43:17.000 I believe they all deserve to be hung or forced into a labor camp for that.
00:43:21.000 A left wing revolution will never come, but a white revolution is coming.
00:43:26.000 Stop fooling yourself that the right wing politicians are any less traitorous than the leftist ones.
00:43:30.000 You responsible conservative types will get the same rope as all the rest.
00:43:36.000 Now, the shooters were.
00:43:38.000 Apparently, Luddites quote, the average man used to have a purpose.
00:43:41.000 They didn't have to worry about what another family was doing because they had to focus on their own family.
00:43:45.000 The Industrial Revolution has severed family ties and destroyed all purpose, leaving the modern man with nothing but emptiness.
00:43:51.000 In order to change this, we must sabotage the industrial complex and bring humanity back to what it once was.
00:43:57.000 And of course, who's to blame?
00:43:58.000 Quote Everyone has their own idea of who is to blame for all wrong in the world.
00:44:02.000 They will say it's the government, the elite, the rich, the politicians, the 1%, the left, the right, the capitalists, the communists, the Illuminati, the F word for gay people, and trannies, the immigrants, and many more.
00:44:15.000 All of them can be traced back to be or be caused by one group, the Jews.
00:44:19.000 All caps.
00:44:20.000 It's the Jews, it's the Jews, it's the Jews, it's the Jews.
00:44:25.000 Epstein Island is the most disgusting, vile, evil thing of our modern day, and yet it is nothing new.
00:44:29.000 It is just Judaism in its purest form, scaled up to an attraction of sorts to blackmail those who will not bend their will willingly.
00:44:37.000 And he says, What radicalized me?
00:44:39.000 You did.
00:44:39.000 Simple.
00:44:40.000 Learning the truth and being exposed to the actions of the enemy is what drove me to the point of radicalization.
00:44:44.000 So thanks for that.
00:44:46.000 It is because of all these years of ridicule, rejection, being ignored, and being treated like a joke.
00:44:50.000 He says, of course, after the Jew, the most evil creature in the world is the woman.
00:44:55.000 This is because after Jews, women tend to cause all the problems in the world.
00:44:58.000 I'm an accelerationist.
00:45:00.000 I believe that accelerating toward the destruction of our current political system and towards an all out race war for the purpose of a societal collapse is the only real way forward.
00:45:08.000 Now, again, why do I bother reading all of this?
00:45:09.000 Because these messages are effervescent in social media.
00:45:13.000 They are there everywhere, everywhere.
00:45:15.000 So if you're a parent and you're letting your kids untrammeled just travel the wilds of social media, Hang out in Podcastistan where half these messages are promoted, much more than half these, then you just know this is the kind of crap that people are listening to.
00:45:29.000 And at the outer edge, at the fringe, it has some pretty deadly consequences.
00:45:34.000 More specifically, on a broad level, obviously, it perverts our politics.
00:45:38.000 All righty.
00:45:38.000 Meanwhile, in better news, Vivek Ramaswamy, who again was opposed by many of these same sorts, he is now the Republican gubernatorial nominee in Ohio.
00:45:50.000 He is promising to fight Medicaid fraud in Ohio.
00:45:53.000 He was joined by some of our reporters at Daily Wire who have uncovered so much of it.
00:45:59.000 And so, to everyone in this state who rightly feels that the quality of your health care may be going down even as your costs are going up, that you're working hard to make ends meet, to put food on the dinner table and provide health care for your family and it feels too expensive, a copay that's a little higher than it should be, health insurance premiums that have risen without quality outcomes to go along with it, the easiest solution that we can deliver for you as leaders, the easiest solution that I will be able to deliver to you.
00:46:28.000 In the first six months of my leadership of this state, will be to crush Medicaid fraud by the billions and to put that money back in your pocket where it belongs.
00:46:41.000 He was joined by our Daily Wire reporter, Luke Rosiak, who's uncovered all this Medicaid fraud in Ohio.
00:46:47.000 Luke also, by the way, was testifying at the State House and he was accused of racism for the fraud investigation.
00:46:54.000 Luke did not take kindly to that.
00:46:57.000 So, for you to imply the racist information that you're on Medicaid or Home Health?
00:47:02.000 On Medicaid and home health.
00:47:06.000 We are, when you look at the numbers of people that are in Ohio, the white population versus people of color, you're implying that most of the fraud is happening in communities of color.
00:47:20.000 I'm not implying it, I'm stating it.
00:47:24.000 Okay, so again, the notion that somehow it's racist to uncover fraud is, of course, ridiculous.
00:47:31.000 Speaking of fraud, JD Vance, who's been tasked by the administration with tracking down fraud on the federal level, is previewing a fraud investigation into Representative Ilhan Omar, who's come up in some discussions of the stuff that's going on in Minnesota.
00:47:45.000 I don't want to prejudge an investigation.
00:47:47.000 I mean, you read the things about Ilhan Omar and about who she married and whether she didn't marry this person or that person.
00:47:54.000 It certainly seems like something fishy is there, but everybody's entitled to equal justice under the laws.
00:47:59.000 So we're going to investigate it, we're going to take a look at it.
00:48:02.000 If we think that there's a crime, we're going to prosecute that crime.
00:48:05.000 And that's something the Department of Justice is looking at right now.
00:48:09.000 So while Republicans are looking into fraud, Democrats have decided that they are going to target President Trump and the administration over fraud.
00:48:16.000 Gavin Newsom, of course, would love to run this campaign.
00:48:18.000 Now, I have been warning since literally January of 2025 that the amount of sort of familial wealth being taken in by members of the Trump family on things like crypto was going to be a problem for President Trump.
00:48:35.000 It is.
00:48:36.000 It just is.
00:48:37.000 And when you have people who are very close to an administration, who are going around picking up giant stacks of cash in places, that will be a problem for the administration eventually.
00:48:45.000 It would be political malpractice for Democrats not to target it, frankly.
00:48:48.000 Here was Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, trying to launch that weapon.
00:48:54.000 Trump administration is a corruption story.
00:48:55.000 It's the Great Grift.
00:48:57.000 And it's taking shape on a daily basis in every way, shape, or form.
00:49:00.000 You didn't even mention the $230 million that the DOJ is also trying to extract, not just that $10 billion, now $1.8 billion settlement.
00:49:08.000 We've talked a lot about the $400 million plan, which is not $400 million.
00:49:12.000 It was over $900 million in the Pentagon budget to retrofit the plan.
00:49:15.000 We talk about the eight large scale projects he has in the Gulf and around the rest of the globe.
00:49:21.000 Uh, the fact that he quite literally used the tariff regime in order to get those deals done, particularly the one in Vietnam.
00:49:27.000 We're talking about the kind of corruption at scale we've never seen in our lifetime.
00:49:33.000 Now again, Democrats, they would be politically foolish to ignore At least the implications there.
00:49:40.000 And now they are focusing in specifically on a move by the DOJ to set up what's called a weaponization of government fund.
00:49:46.000 So the DOJ announced the other day that as part of a settlement agreement with President Trump, President Trump was suing the IRS for having leaked his files and targeting him.
00:49:54.000 The Attorney General established the Anti Weaponization Fund to provide a systematic process to hear and redress claims of others who suffered weaponization and lawfare.
00:50:02.000 So again, the plaintiffs, that would be President Trump, Don Jr., Eric Trump, the Trump Organization, they filed suit against Treasury and the IRS in the Southern District of Florida.
00:50:12.000 Following the leak of their tax returns, they have agreed, in exchange for the creation of the fund, to drop their pending lawsuit with prejudice and also withdraw a couple of administrative claims, including for damages resulting from the raid on Mar a Lago and the Russia collusion hoax.
00:50:25.000 So, what is this fund?
00:50:26.000 Well, apparently, according to the DOJ, the fund will have the power to issue formal apologies and monetary relief owed to claimants.
00:50:33.000 Submission of a claim is voluntary.
00:50:35.000 There are no partisan requirements to file a claim.
00:50:37.000 Any money left when the fund ceases operations will revert back to the federal government.
00:50:40.000 The fund will receive $1.776 billion, right, $1776.
00:50:44.000 And it will come from the Judgment Fund, which is a perpetual appropriation allowing DOJ to settle and pay cases.
00:50:50.000 On a quarterly basis, the fund sends a report to the AG.
00:50:54.000 And they point out there is a legal precedent for this.
00:50:57.000 The Obama administration created a fund called the Keeps Eagle Fund, which was a $760 million fund to redress various claims alleging racism against the federal government over a period of decades.
00:51:06.000 So let me be clear I don't like any of these slush funds.
00:51:08.000 I think all of these slush funds end up being abused.
00:51:10.000 Giant bags of money end up being targeted by people who ought not receive that money.
00:51:15.000 With that said, the accusation that Trump is setting up the fund to pay off his family is really, really silly.
00:51:20.000 So JD Vance was asked about that by the media.
00:51:22.000 Was Trump setting up this fund just to pay himself off?
00:51:24.000 And he's like, no, that's silly.
00:51:27.000 I think in some ways the media has misrepresented what this is actually about.
00:51:30.000 This is about compensating Americans for the lawfare that we saw under the last administration.
00:51:35.000 And by the way, anybody can apply for it.
00:51:38.000 Republicans can apply for it.
00:51:39.000 Democrats can apply for it.
00:51:41.000 As you know, the President of the United States has pardoned a number of Democrats who he felt were actually subject to this lawfare.
00:51:48.000 I mean, if Hunter Biden wants to apply for this particular fund, he is welcome to.
00:51:52.000 It's going to go through a normal process where we vet everything, where we try to identify whether people's claims are actually legitimate.
00:51:58.000 But here's the question you say, why should taxpayers fund this?
00:52:03.000 Whenever the United States government incurs legal expenses, it pays out those legal expenses.
00:52:08.000 When it's settling a lawsuit, it pays out money to settle that lawsuit.
00:52:13.000 And the question is Is a dollar of this money going to the Trump administration?
00:52:17.000 No.
00:52:18.000 Is a dollar of this money going to Donald Trump personally?
00:52:20.000 No.
00:52:21.000 Is a dollar of this money going to Donald Trump's family?
00:52:23.000 No.
00:52:26.000 Now, Todd Blanch, who's the interim AG, he says Democrats have been lying about the nature of the slush fund.
00:52:32.000 Here's what he had to say in congressional testimony.
00:52:35.000 There's also an individual who, after being pardoned by the president, went on to molest two children.
00:52:45.000 And that person actually tried to buy the silence of these children by saying that he would pay them some of the funds that he was hoping to get from your slush fund.
00:52:56.000 Can you commit to making the rules so that that person is not eligible for a payout under this fund?
00:53:03.000 Well, you're obviously lying in your question because there's no way that this person committed to that.
00:53:09.000 The slush fund, as you call it, which it's not, didn't exist.
00:53:12.000 But I can commit.
00:53:12.000 I'm sure.
00:53:13.000 Mr. Attorney General, don't ever do that again.
00:53:17.000 I am reporting what he said.
00:53:19.000 He said on the expectation that he hoped to get some of the funds from a payout.
00:53:25.000 He's been reporting the slush fund, Senator, and that didn't exist when he said that.
00:53:30.000 Okay, so Blanche is right about that.
00:53:32.000 Now, there is a legit critique here.
00:53:34.000 Okay, that legit critique comes in the form of a waiver that was put at the end of the settlement.
00:53:39.000 Quote.
00:53:40.000 The United States releases, waives, acquits, and forever discharges each of the plaintiffs from and is hereby forever banned and precluded from prosecuting or pursuing any and all claims, counterclaims, causes of actions, appeals, or requests for relief, including injunctive money, monetary relief, damages, examinations,
00:53:55.000 or similar or related reviews, appeals, debt relief, costs, attorney's fees, etc., etc., whether presently known or unknown, that as of the effective date of the settlement agreement have been or could have been asserted by defendants against any of the plaintiffs or related or affiliated individuals or parties, including trusts, parents, sisters, or related companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries.
00:54:13.000 Okay, so why is that a problem?
00:54:15.000 So there's been some time that's passed since the initiation of this lawsuit.
00:54:20.000 In that time, there's been an awful lot of activity that has been performed by members of the Trump family.
00:54:25.000 And so what the settlement does, it basically says from today, meaning like May 20th, from today back, nothing could be investigated or prosecuted.
00:54:34.000 Now, again, I see why the Trump administration would want that.
00:54:36.000 I can see why members of the Trump family would want that because obviously, you know, they've been targeted unfairly before.
00:54:43.000 I get that.
00:54:44.000 At the same time, I get the critique, the critique, which is, well, you know, when you initiated this lawsuit two years ago, you had not done any of these things.
00:54:52.000 And Trump's been back in office since then, and some stuff has happened that we want to investigate.
00:54:56.000 That is not the most insane critique that I've ever heard.
00:54:59.000 Again, I'm generally against slush funds, to be clear.
00:55:02.000 I do not like them.
00:55:03.000 I think there are other ways of pursuing redress for grievances in this fashion.
00:55:08.000 However, many of the myths that you're hearing about it are overstated.
00:55:10.000 All righty.
00:55:11.000 Now, let's jump into the pure talk question and answer segment.
00:55:16.000 Because you have questions and we have answers.
00:55:18.000 Sam from Kentucky has a question.
00:55:21.000 Ben, what is one daily habit that has had the biggest impact in your productivity?
00:55:28.000 The biggest impact is you actually have to set apart time in your life where you turn off your phone.
00:55:34.000 You just have to turn it off.
00:55:35.000 You have to basically turn off the internet.
00:55:37.000 Just do that for one hour a day and do not be distracted by doing tasks.
00:55:41.000 Everybody thinks that they're good at multitasking.
00:55:43.000 Not a single human is good at multitasking.
00:55:45.000 It is not what our brains are built for.
00:55:47.000 We are built to do one task.
00:55:48.000 You need to be able to get into what is called psychologically flow.
00:55:51.000 Flow is where you feel that you and the task are one.
00:55:55.000 People, you almost have a dopamine rush when it happens.
00:55:58.000 You can't get there if you are focusing on 10 things at once.
00:56:00.000 You really do have to.
00:56:01.000 Focus in kind of piece by piece throughout your day on the thing that's in front of you.
00:56:04.000 Otherwise, you end up distractible and not nearly as effective.
00:56:07.000 And it actually wastes time.
00:56:08.000 Multitasking loses you time, it doesn't save you time.
00:56:11.000 Anonymous.
00:56:14.000 Hey, Ben, this is Anonymous.
00:56:15.000 I have a buddy who I've been trying to convince to smoke cigars for like 11 years.
00:56:22.000 And since you're the persuasion debate champ, I was just wondering what arguments would you make to him to convince him that he should do that, especially on a celebratory occasion like his birthday?
00:56:36.000 Thanks.
00:56:37.000 Oh, you know, that was totally anonymous.
00:56:40.000 I have no idea who that was.
00:56:42.000 I have no idea.
00:56:43.000 I mean, I could feel all of the goosebumps of hatred rise upon me the minute that I heard that voice.
00:56:50.000 Michael Knowles.
00:56:52.000 Anyway, how would you convince somebody to smoke a cigar?
00:56:55.000 So I assume that I am that friend.
00:56:57.000 If I'm not, that makes me sad.
00:56:58.000 But in any case, if I'm that person, I mean, you'd have to start with a full scale explanation of how I'm not going to get mouth cancer.
00:57:06.000 And you have to start with that.
00:57:08.000 Again, my understanding is that you won't, but I want some more facts to back that up.
00:57:11.000 Second of all, I need to understand the enjoyment of it because the one time that I smoked a cigar, I vomited into a trash can because I swallowed the smoke.
00:57:19.000 It was very, very unpleasant.
00:57:20.000 So I need to be assured that actually it is a pleasant experience and I need someone to actually show me how to properly smoke a cigar, which I do not know how to do.
00:57:28.000 And then third, honestly, my throat dries out so much that it's just a problem for me.
00:57:33.000 Even when there's cigar smoke in the room, like when we were doing backstage, oh man, I hated it so much, I was basically dried out the entire next day.
00:57:39.000 So the answer is no, I'm not going to do that.
00:57:40.000 Todd.
00:57:41.000 Do you have a question?
00:57:44.000 Hey, Ben.
00:57:44.000 It's Todd from New York.
00:57:46.000 So, everyone talks about the economy, climate change.
00:57:50.000 I'm just wondering, why aren't people more worried about population decline?
00:57:55.000 Well, I think the reason is because we have all been indoctrinated in the idea that people are the problem.
00:57:59.000 Environmentalists have spent an awful lot of time making the case that the actual problem on planet Earth is the people, which is not true.
00:58:06.000 The solution is the people.
00:58:07.000 We are very, very good at solving problems once they appear.
00:58:10.000 And population decline is a massive problem.
00:58:13.000 Now, again, when people think of overpopulation or underpopulation, they're thinking about the wrong places.
00:58:17.000 They're saying, well, you know, it's very, very overpopulated in the third world.
00:58:20.000 Yes.
00:58:20.000 Well, when they become richer, they will stop overpopulating because that is what has happened in every single population group in the world on planet Earth.
00:58:28.000 Where we do have underpopulation, specifically because of our social welfare systems and also because of our inability to form families or unwillingness to do so, it's going to be a major problem.
00:58:40.000 Todd, you are right.
00:58:41.000 We do need to convince people to have more babies.
00:58:42.000 That would be a good thing.
00:58:43.000 Head on over to puretalk.comslash Shapiro to switch to my wireless company, America's Wireless Company.

00:59:01.000 It's totally crazy.
00:59:03.000 The BBC is now trying to justify Afghan fathers selling their children into child sex slavery.
00:59:09.000 I'm not even kidding.
00:59:09.000 This is what the BBC is doing.
00:59:10.000 We'll get into that in a moment.
